The BNHA x DP art and writing you’ve created is phenomenal!!! The parallels you drawn between the universes are sharp and compelling. (I will be rotating this crossover in my head for some time.)

You’re so sweet! Thank you, any crossover with Danny phantom is genuinely so fun! The only one I really see is DC or Marvel though, which is such a shame cause there’s so much potential! Maybe I’m looking in the wrong places.

But the Nomus in bnha are already so heartbreaking, there’s so much already going on but with Danny being added and being able to sense ghosts and death it would be so overwhelming for him, like the cluster from SU! Being able to feel multiple souls mashed together (their quirks) into this monster that’s in constant pain and has no mind of its own, physically unable to do anything for themselves and being forced to do horrendous things. If the body isn’t aware the ghosts attached sure are, it has so much angst already laid out.

Healing/Regeration Abilities are Portrayed Wrong in Media

When you think of abilities that allow healing a few stand out. Recovery Girl and Noumu from My Hero Academia. Wolverine and Deadpool from Marvel. With these characters in mind I can begin to note the wrongs with their abilities.

With Recovery Girl her quirk allows her to accelerate the healing process at the cost of stamina, however in order for the healing process to occur your body requires fluids, vitamins, and minerals as well as proteins to properly heal injuries and all she ever offers is gummies to help give the healed person back some energy. So more than likely since all she is doing is accelerating the healing process she is probably having the body digest itself a little bit which will make the person weaker by a certain amount depending on how much healing was required or what they had enough stamina to allow.

Same is true with the Noumu, Wolverine, and Deadpool. They are not generally taking in any of those especially when fighting. So the longer they fight the weaker they should be getting due to decreased muscle mass and bone density(other than Wolverine)

In terms of blood production the main source of blood production in the body is within the bone marrow. So Wolverine would probably have a hard time producing blood due to all of his bones being coated/filled with adamantium same with X23 and Lady Deathstrike or any other clones of Wolverine with Adamantium coated bones.

Also Deadpool healing back from a single drop of blood in the comics does not make sense due to a single drop of blood not having near enough materials to generate a new body.

I know all series with healing/regenerating characters like this are all works of fiction and therefore don't always follow basic Chemistry, biology, or physics this has just been a shower thought that I wanted to get written down.

Also I realized that Venom's regeneration is probably the most accurate. Due to Venom regularly eating people while they fight they are taking in all the necessary materials for the healing process.

minus Star, Rest In Peace you Baddy with a Fatty 😏😘 (also, she would most definitely be pissed about the abortion rights issue happening in the U.S. right now, and if I was one of those Supreme Court Judges I'd be terrified, trembling, shaking in my boots, then re-overturn roe vs wade out of fear of my life being bitch slapped to its end👍 we women are powerful and pissed. Horikoshi may kill off all his powerful female characters, but at least he understood how fucking visious we American women are, and REPRESENTED IT!! He probably has to kill 'em off in order for the story to continue. Powerful Women are much smarter and stronger than teenage boys, and this is a teenage boy's story).

Or it's nomu's going after deku, which is kinda boring and feels repetitive. Would be cooler if it was the U.S Air Force!

You were human once. Mortal.

You would have had to be, to be able to explain as much as you have to your Paladin, Nomu.

Your existence is different from that now. You do not have a name and do not feel discomforted by that. Very different from how mortals work, how necessary it is for mortals to name life around them, to pin things down.

Nomu, your beloved Paladin, calls you “His Lady.” You do not need anything more than that.

You usually are not extremely aware of the gap between godhood and a mortal mind, yet at this moment, peering through your Paladin’s eyes at the one called ‘All Might,’ you are never more aware.

It is a yawning chasm, this range of experience.

Your being almost itches.

“My Lady?”

Oh. You curl your being around Nomu, in efforts to comfort him. Nothing is wrong. You’re simply...thinking.

The bone thin face is familiar, as are those sunken sockets where blue eyes peek out from. Not because Nomu, and thus you, have seen him before like this.

But because a mortal you, a different you, witness this individual upon a television screen. You...you struggle dig up memories of that time. Intellectually, you know everything those memories hold, like the man’s real name (Toshinori Yagi) and his Quirk (One for All).

You even have thoughts on a past interaction between him and another called Sir Nighteye, begging his man to retire before his self appointed role buried him in an actual grave.

He refused, of course. If he hadn’t, he wouldn’t be here. In fact...

Nomu, you wouldn’t exist without this man. Isn’t that strange? Should I...thank him?

“...you’re right. He’s All Might and I was created to fight All Might. Huh. What a strange thing to realize.”

“But why thank him?”

You giggle. Brush against your Paladin. Silly Nomu. You love Nomu, and anything that made him exist...that is good.

There is a warmth in Nomu, that he tries to bury at your shared feeling/words/appreciation. How much you care about him.

(This is why he is your Paladin and you are his God.)

So yes. You know of Toshinori Yagi. But the feelings that are in those memories...are inaccessible to you. Again, you know what they are but you can’t feel them. Not at all.

As a mortal, All Might might have been...a favorite! How strange!

Because when you see him through Nomu’s gaze, other than the faint gratitude that his existence has brought about Nomu’s, you feel...

Not disgust, too strong. More of a faint distaste?

Because this man....he has spent his entire life in opposition to what you are. What you are god of, monsters and tools and inhumanity.

(There are no room for beasts, in a world ruled by Peace.)

Worst than that, he was a monster. For what is more unnatural than carrying so many ghosts inside of one’s self, using their Quirks and Strength as Nomu does.

But also not.

Because Nomu uses his powers to free other nomu. To raise up the tools that society deemed useless, brainless. Creatures fitting only mercy kills, no personhood about them.

But All Might...

This society loves him, doesn’t it? Loves their Pillar.

If you hate society, you decide, you do not love this man. Because of your god nature. He gave up his monsterhood to be something palatable to this unnatural peace. In exchange, you give him up too. He is not yours.

“What about All Might?”

Nomu, decide what you may, but remember...

This man seeks peace. We do not. For that, we will be enemies in the end.

No matter what kindness he offers now.

not many nomu reader drabbles so I thought to make one. Reader is a high-end nomu who can think, like Kurogiri

Follow. Watch. Learn. Report. Repeat.

Follow. It was hard to follow him when he was on campus. But a quick pickpocket quickly solved that problem. Hopefully, this Monoma won't cancel the card anytime soon.

Watch. The students are the easiest to watch. They still haven't yet developed that sixth sense yet. Unlike the third years and staff. Oh, and of course him. He can always tell, but given his situation that is to be expected.

Learn. Amazing how talkative the social ones are, they hardly even need to be prompted to get going. The quiet ones are trickier but everyone talks, it's just a matter of when and where.

Report. Not often is there anything to really report, nothing that isn't already shared by him. When you do have something to report though it's quite satisfactory. Another point for your argument that is he is not needed for the mission. That compared to you he is nothing more than a liability.

Repeat. Another point for your argument is another conversation between you and Sir that you know word by word now.

He is why no one has found us yet. He can get information straight from the heroes themselves, while you have to get it second-hand from the students. He has access to everything, he can go anywhere with little to no risk. He can be a liability, which is why you are there. You are there to make sure he does not become one. You are to follow and watch Aoyama Yuuga. You are to learn about him and his classmates. You are to report to me about his and your findings as well as his performance. And you are to repeat this for as long I tell you to, is that understood?

...Yes, Sir. Understood Sir.

But it's not understood. He's weak, born quirkless and can't even use his quirk to its full extent. You on the other hand are strong. You were made to be a weapon, a scout. Every quirk given to you by Sir and Doctor Garaki was to ensure the success of the mission.

And yet you're stuck on guard duty, guard duty on someone who isn't even strong enough to defeat one of your weaker predecessors. Has he even fought a nomu?

Maybe if your lucky he'll be taken out of commission during class training, giving you a break from his annoying presence.

He's become less scared of you now and sometimes tries talking to you. Why he would want to talk to his prison guard you have no idea. Maybe to try and find out how to kill you, like with that thing he calls "cheze", could be a poison of some kind. Certainly smells like one

Theory: some High-Ends use the corpses of past OFA users

There aren't tons of High-Ends. They can't be mass-produced so easily, and there's only one that's blatantly female, literally named Woman and with a tall, defined figure

Maybe Woman's original identity is already confirmed, but... she's similar to Nana in build, isn't she?

It's hinted that All For One actually kept Nana's corpse. How, 20+ years later, could he give Tenko his grandmother's pristine hand? Is he just keeping their hands? Or their actual corpses?

Also, when looking at corpses to give multiple Quirks to, One For All users are the best for this. Having inherited One For All, their bodies had maintained multiple Quirks when they were alive, even if they couldn't use more than their natural Quirk and One For All's physical ability. And to their bodies, One For All doesn't count as just one Quirk; the natural one, and Yoichi, are already too much for a human. But Shinomori shows that it counts each previous user's Quirk, on top of Yoichi's and one's own natural one.

Their bodies adjusted to holding multiple Quirks, and when they were alive, they didn't become deformed or lose brain function. They were perfectly fine, and only had shortened lives—but that doesn't matter as corpses.

Nomus go brain dead when they have multiple Quirks. But the past users didn't, being completely fine, making them perfect for Nomu development.

High-Ends can think. They're all physically powerful, and One For All users make the best basis, even from leftover embers and physique. So why not use that great base to make the best outcome Nomus (High-Ends)?
