Just thinking...What if... stalked reader is the crazy one and the "poor" stalker doesn't know what he got himself into. 👀👀
Someone needs to save him from dear Y/N...😂
Tumblr media
Reader: "Wait! You didn't stalk me for a week. Where have you been?"
Stalker: "What? I..."
Reader: "We have a routine, Sir. I leave my bedroom curtains open so you can get a glimpse of my cute bottom and I get off imagining you will break into my apartment to eat my coochie!"
Stalker: Loses his shit. "What the fuck!"
Reader: "You can't change our routine out of the blue. Thursday nights are there for our sex dates!"
Stalker: "Sex dates?" *starts to sweat.* He looks around the deserted street, asking himself if this is the right moment to grab you.
Reader: *sighs deeply* "I got the bags with me for a reason," you point at the duffle bags slung over your shoulder. "Now, chop-chop and kidnap me! I want to see your home!"

Stucky used to be my comfort ship.
I used to think Steve and Bucky cared for each other so deeply and tragically that their love – even if only viewed as platonic – could not be denied by anyone. Not after Steve spent THREE whole movies, the entire Cap trilogy, proving how much Bucky meant to him over and over and over. Steve was willing to fight for him and die for him in every single movie. I used to think that even if Marvel gave Steve another love interest, even if he died in Endgame, it wouldn’t change or negate how devoted they were to each other. That they would still be friends “til the end of the line.”
Little did I know what awaited me in Endgame was a fate worse than death.
Steve left and in doing so rewrote everything we thought we knew about him and his relationship with Bucky. About who Steve is as a character entirely. It wasn’t just that he abandoned his supposed best friend, who he had been chasing and obsessing over for years. Who was there for him and looked after him ever since they were children. If Steve had left the Bucky he used to know in the 1940s for some love interest and a life without him, it would still be pretty out of character, but I would eventually get over it. 1940s!Bucky was confident, happy, and had family and friends who cared about him. Endgame!Bucky is not that Bucky.
Endgame!Bucky is broken and lost and just now learning how to be a person again. Endgame!Bucky has no friends and no family. Endgame!Bucky just spent the last 70 years of his life going from one fight to another, being brainwashed and tortured and manipulated and abused. Endgame!Bucky is clinging by a thread to the one and only thing he knows and values in this world: Steve.
This is the Bucky that Steve chose to leave.
If Steve was any kind of friend at all – if Steve was truly a hero and the morally upstanding person he’s portrayed as, a person worthy of wielding Mjolnir – he would know these things about Bucky, his best friend since childhood, and at the very least, would refuse to leave his side until Bucky had some sort of support network and seemed well-adjusted enough to handle it. But he doesn’t. Even in their farewell scene when Bucky (looking like a kicked puppy) says to him “I’m gonna miss you” Steve won’t even echo the sentiment. He just says “it’s gonna be okay,” as if he’s aware of the pain Bucky must be in and essentially tells him, “don’t worry, you’ll get over it.” And I’m not even going to get into the terrible way Steve treated his other best friend, Sam, by keeping him completely in the dark about his plans for absolutely no reason and abandoning him as well.
Marvel didn’t just make Steve act out of character in Endgame in an effort to no-homo him and create a ~surprise twist~. They didn’t just make him a bit selfish and a bad friend. They straight up made him a villain, and I will never ever forgive them for it.

Heard someone say "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier made Captain America political" and how fucking dense do you have to be to utter something like that?? truly?? do you taste shit with how far your head up is in your ass??
Captain America has always been political you fool!!! He was a character created as a superhero fighting the fucking Nazis during WW2. Steve Rogers would hate your guts btw!! He was created with H!tler as a nemesis in mind!! He was born to a single not-well-to-do mother!! He was frail and had a bucket load of conditions that made life really difficult for him!!!
If you think Steve Rogers would have stood for the racism and real life commentary in TFATWS you have severely missed the point of Captain America by miles
Steve Rogers has always been against discrimination!!

After all this time I still have. Thoughts. About what Sam would be like if he was in the 1600s Avengers What If ep.
REAL Redwing. His little red falcon. The love of his life.
I mean, having him replace Scott in Steve's team is nice. But have you ever thought about ex-King's-army Sam who retired years ago and is now living with Sarah and his nephews and running a tavern with her. Just a regular fisherman with a knack for fighting and his family.
Sam being an old friend of Steve so when Steve's team got tracked down they went to Sam's house. Bucky might or might not have fallen in love at the very first look.
Sam has mechanical wings that he made himself. I love a tech-savvy man.
Look I just want cottagecore Sam okay. I want my man in puffy white shirts with a low cut and loose pants and straw hats. Is that too much to ask.
Bonus Sambucky (and doodle because I'm so normal about 1602 Sam): Bucky going to Sam's house to hide along with his team for the umpteenth time and when it's clear to leave, Sam just calls Bucky back leaning against the door and asks: "Come by again?" And Bucky positively melts. Yeah. I'm not normal about them (they've taken control of me for a year straight with no interruption)

Personal review regarding what if…? season 2 episode 8 (spoilers)
No ok, I must admit, the episode was good in some aspects.
Wanda was majestic. Loki and Scott were hilarious and I loved every single moment with them.
Thor was amazing, dark and serious out of loss but still enjoyable, and the crumbs of his relationship with Hela were very nice.
I’ve actually liked Tony for the very first time in my life, probably because I tend to like him a lot more in AUs and fanfictions than I do in the normal timeline.
And then… there were those two.
I will never comprehend why marvel wants Steve to be so dependent on Peggy. And I will never comprehend why, to make him interact with her, they have to destroy or sideline every other relationship he has built, or make his character flat.
Bucky being friends with Scott was amazing, but the fact that him and Steve interacted like two times was extremely disappointing. You’d expect “best friends in every universe”, if you dislike the romantic pairing so much, to acknowledge themselves for more than a few scenes, in only one of which they’re in frame together (Bucky was literally 😐 while his best friend disappeared, come on now).
And the storyline about Peggy coming from another world to save the universe was just… Mbah. It could’ve been executed in another way without including her and it still would have made sense. It really feels like a Y/N insert.
Seeing literally any other character was so good, so fun, and they had to ruin it this way, making Peggy once again the self insert and girlboss she didn’t need to be.
Plus, forgive my constant complaining, but it’s extremely infuriating how all of Steve’s friends were eliminated to put the focus solely on Peggy. Where’s Sam? Where’s Nat? Where’s Clint? It’s not an underrated friendship we’re talking about, a big chunk of the fandom loves the cap quartet or team cap, and after civil war it would have been nice to see them interact, especially after its popularity and popular demand. Outlaw team cap would have been glorious, a good chance to bring back many characters who aren’t here anymore in the right way, and involve characters that are rarely involved in What if in the storyline, for a change.
The treatment of Sam in this series particularly angers me, and even more so in this episode. I understand not involving him in other storylines, but Sam was a big part of CATWS and he wasn’t even in the episode centered on that film. What, because Steve met him while running he can’t be introduced in any other way? And oh, there’s no excuse for this episode. If there was one episode they could have placed Sam in, it was this one. Sam was there in infinity war, where the mess happened, and he should have been with the other avengers in this one.
If marvel wanted to involve someone from another universe so bad, it should have been a Captain America Sam from another universe. Can you imagine the poetry of seeing Steve and Nat again after endgame? Can you imagine having closure with them both, and having fun in the process? It would have been so great.
Another great storyline without involving characters from other universes would have been one where Steve, who touched the time stone, accidentally brought everyone in the past, and he was the only one to remember it. And to go back and prevent everyone’s distraction, he had to recruit the avengers, who don’t know him and don’t trust him but that in the end become his friends and companions. It would have been so interesting to see the original avengers involved in something different from being some side characters or extras in the one woman show that seems to be What if, constantly centered around the same bland, one dimensional reimagined side character. Peggy’s blandness is so obvious in these episodes (aside for some random remarks that made me smile) that literally everyone who’s involved directly with her must be bland like her, otherwise risking to overshadow her.
I don’t think I was supposed to cringe and look away as much as I did during Steggy’s forced scenes, but I did. If they had to force Steggy and Peggy down our throats, at least they could have done something different from the same bland and boring storyline as always. I wouldn’t be as mad as I am now if Peggy and Steve’s relationship wasn’t as bland. I would have preferred an enemies to lovers type of twist or change, where Steve doesn’t trust Peggy and struggles with her because he sees in her a different version of the Peggy that died in that universe. But noooo, god forbid, let’s go with the same old song.
An episode five or ten minutes longer with a better, avengers-centric or Steve-centric storyline would have been much better than what we got.
And given that this was my most anticipated episode, I was very disappointed by it. I hope for the next seasons, if there’s other ones, Marvel will listen to the general complaint regarding Peggy and will give her a break. I don’t think any of the original avengers or relevant MCU characters made as much appearances as Peggy, and being a main focus in four episodes out of nine is ridiculous.

One more random post hating Steve's ending
So you are telling me Steve has been selfish all this time?
In their defense we did know Steve pursued Bucky because Bucky was one last link to his past so yeah he was chasing Bucky for himself as much as wanting to help Bucky, up to the point of defying everyone for him
Now that Bucky is finally ok and out of the Winter Soldier mindset, he finds himself exactly in the same position as Steve, a man out of time and to boot you also add aliens and sorcerers, so by now he's in the exact same position as Steve when he got defrosted and sent to New York to fight aliens
So you are telling me that Steve, knowing this, left Bucky?
Don't come at me that I'm a shipper, come at me as just the thought, Bucky is right now in the place Steve was 10 years ago but with sooo much bigger baggage and Steve, knowing this, just said like:
Well now since what I've wanted all along was to go back and now I have the chance then I no longer need you (Bucky)

i’m really about to boycott marvel. WTF DO YOU MEAN BUCKY ISNT IN THE NEW CAPTAIN AMERICA?! how tf are you gonna make a captain america movie and NOT have his best friend? AND NOT TO MENTION BUCKY MIGHT DIE IN THUNDERBOLTS! And the original script for thunderbolts had all the characters dying in the end! WHY IS MARVEL RUNING SHIT? i swear to gods if he dies/ isn’t in the new cap movie im NEVER watching another marvel movie as long as i live. I have no hope for any characters that died coming back. I’ve come to the conclusion that we are never going to see Nat,Wanda,Tony, Steve or Loki ever again. Marvel is really pissing me the fuck off with their decisions lately.

" There has never been another Steve Rogers, has there? " | Captain Ameri...
Actually, this is soooo trueee!!!!!
As much as I like Sam Wilson as a character, it just wasn't the right decision for Marvel to replace Captain America. Maybe it makes sense in the comics where, because the storylines literally continue over decades, passing on the mantle of certain characters to others is narratively helpful and refreshing.
But in the MCU, it feels totally wrong. The whole point of Captain America being Steve and vice versa is that NO ONE ELSE had the moral integrity and strength of Steve Rogers. That's the reason he was chosen and no one else, no matter how great of a character they might be on their own right, could ever feel in his role.
Kinda how no one else is as brilliant, eccentric, and self-sacrificial as Tony Stark, thus no one but him can be Iron Man. I think that Steve and Tony were kinda supposed to be mirrors of each other, the one the heart and the other the brain of the Avengers. And so both should be irreplaceable.
I also think that it would have been much more honorable for Sam to accept that his old friend left a legacy behind that shouldn't be changed or affected by anyone (including himself), and go make his own arc focus on the future of America, symbolized by him AS THE FALCON.
In previous movies, because Steve (and Bucky, tbh) was always the main focus, we never got to see the full potential, backstory, motivations, etc. of the Falcon, just vague mentions. He was just a loyal friend and sidekick to Steve.
Imagine if the Falcon FINALLY had an arc that didn't center Steve Rogers, imagine if he was allowed to keep his core hero identity but also evolve in it. It would have been SO MUCH BETTER.
Additionally, I think that most of that passing on the mantle stuff, is just pandering to minorities, which in of itself isn't bad AT ALL, but they were SO LAZY about it in TFATWS.... Seriously, the script was mostly trash (apart from the more intimate Bucky and Sam interactions and Zemo's storyline), and it didn't allow Sam, the AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN THE WHOLE SERIES IS ABOUT!!!! to actually evolve in his own right and be a truly good protagonist.
Anyways, after TFATWS it became apparent to me that Marvel is no longer interested in good storytelling, character development, and representation. So, at least for me, Captain America in the MCU will forever only be Steve Rogers.

yelena belova is aroace.
Yelena Belova is canonically aroace.
Lately people dismissing that has been getting on my nerves VERY much, so I’m making this post lol.
First the terminology:
Aromantic — an individual who doesn’t experience romantic attraction.
Asexual — an individual that doesn’t experience sexual attraction.
AroSpec — spectrum that includes different aromantic identities, from aros who don’t feel romantic attraction to those who do under certain circumstances or rarely.
AceSpec — spectrum that includes different asexual identities, from aces who don’t feel sexual attraction to those who do under certain circumstances or rarely.
So first thing i will put here is this;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This in my humble opinion should be enough of a proof, but apparently it is not.
First this part of an interview, the person speaking is a creator/co-creator of Yelena. She says she is most likely to identify as asexual than to follow Nat’s romantic path. Hinting at both aro & ace.
Tumblr media
So in the comics Yelena shows no interest dating, as far as i am aware she has no romantic interest in the comics. She is repulsed by sex, she calls herself „nothing” referring to her sexual identity.
Tumblr media
As much as many like to say she is a lesbian, she is not, how fucking stupid you sound, honestly. She says it herself, if I said I’m not a lesbian, would you question it? No? Then don’t question her, she says she is not a lesbian, she has no wlw storyline. Drop the fucking lesbian hc.
Some possible foreshadowing in the MCU
1. When she is talking with a widow and a former Ana (show: Hawkeye), there is a line said by the widow accompanying her: „…you and Natasha can be reunited again and live your sex in the city fantasy”.
^ Yelena leaves the room, as soon as the word „sex” is mentioned her face drops, then we have this scene where she’s looking at herself in the mirror.
2. When talking about kids and family (movie: Black Widow) she mentions she wants a dog.
3. When describing „fake story” of her life she made up because her birth certificate was burnt she says Natasha has a husband and talks about her parents, but mentions nothing about her husband or possible spouses or children. (movie: Black Widow)
4. Yelena tends to wear a lot of aro/ace flag colors.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
green coat & purple lipstick (green = aro | purple = ace)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
yellow & blue colors = aroace flag
Overall Yelena wears a lot of green and white and black together, aromantic flag colors.
^^ can you call that „over the top?” yeah sure… let me remind yall something else:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
when enid wore this sweather yall went WILD.
but when Yelena is wearing aroace colors all the time it’s called „reaching”…?
I will continue this with even more, because while you can agree with me and say she is aroace, still there will be people who claim she is aroace, agree, but then this fucking argument comes into place:
„AROS CAN DATE”
„ACES CAN FUCK”
„QPRS EXIST”
Do you see what’s wrong with those sentences? Nothing.
There’s a „but” thoooo…
There is nothing wrong with those, but using those arguments to totally ignore her sexuality ship her and treat her like suddenly she is allo is not it.
Yelena has shown no interest in dating or sex, we can assume she is sex-repulsed as she has shows repulsion to sex and she is to me at least implied to be romance-repulsed.
And we’ve found the problem.
Sex Repulsed Aces are as you can imagine repulsed by sex. Romance Repulsed Aros are repulsed by romance… So how is someone repulsed by said things engaging in said interaction and is not repulsed by them???
I think it’s a great idea to write her into said situations to show she is repulsed and to show it’s okay, because her life, my life, the lives of other uninterested in such thing aro/ace, our lives don’t end here.
Using how some people navigate through their sexuality to justify this is wrong.
You wouldn’t write a lesbian with a man, because bi lesbians exist and she may be a bi lesbian, right?
^ just an fyi, that’s an example, the term bi-lesbian is extremely harmful to both bisexuals and lesbians. check out this for more.
The QPR dilemma is that you don’t understand what a QPR is… it’s not more than friends…it’s not in the middle, it’s out of the regular binary of relationships. Relationships I actually think are QPRs:
Friends with benefits — purely platonic, but you fuck.
Situationship — just friends that do romantic stuff together, unless you call it a romantic relationship, with the other person agreeing on that, it is not one.
QPRs are amazing and beautiful, but it’s not always about fucking and kissing and „acting like a couple” but being a QPR. It can be being friends and living together, not temporary. It can be being friends and co-parenting. It can be many things.
But as I said Yelena is repulsed, why would someone repulsed by sex/romance engage in said thing happily with no doubts, fears, negative feelings just because it’s a qpr, so it’s suddenly fine…?
This is for now all I have to say about this.
As an AroAce, who desires no romantic relationship or a sexual one please please please let us have this representation, for once in our fucking lives.

in my head Bucky and Steve knew they liked the other at like 16 but did nothing about it bc they were terrified of potential consequences from everyone involved and not involved except Steve was more "resigned acceptance of the impossible, life goes on" and Bucky was more "clinically insane yearning and pretending to like women so hard you get turned into the borough's resident casanova"
then in war Steve thought he'd try and be normal w Peggy (he liked her well enough!) while Bucky was in the background nursing the seventh whiskey that night sighing forlornly like "ah this is so unfair life is unfair but as long as everyone's happy I guess" w the commandos being like "man I'm sorry you like Carter so much :( also why isn't the alcohol affecting you"
Then Bucky dies then Steve dies because of grief then Captain America is found alive and he has to spend at least three years roaming around with little to no friends nobody except a girl he kissed once maybe and fuck else
Then the winter soldier appears and he's like "well. Shit" and Sam learns that jesus fucking christ this man is insane like holy shit and atp love is naught but the background noise for all the mess until wakanda
Then when Bucky wakes up he's like "ah that's right. I actually love this man" and Steve is all :( and overall not in a good place and I love ignoring canon post-2014 actually ignore everything after ca:tws
Anyways all this to say I think the most compelling pairing here is Steve after everything without the serum and Bucky metal arm long hair beard and smiles like it's in the marichat you get me? the way it's like the most like their true selves bc bucky buried his under tws and the casanova and Steve buried his under the shield and the beard and the sketchbooks so now they finally have a chance to be !!

Just read an article where it says Bucky should have been cap instead of Sam
And like no???
Bucky's arc in MCU already feels like it revolves around Steve. And while shippy people see this as a you-know-what win, I just see Marvel not giving a damn about Bucky Barnes as a character unless they are using him as a plot device.
Also, Bucky with the shield? when he's already traumatized and has barely just recovered from being thrashed around like a rag doll for nearly a century? Who in their right minds? At least let the man have a solid arc as a solo hero first
Meanwhile Sam's —
He. Is. Captain. America.
Fatws had plot issues. That's not on the character. That's on the writers. So no f you, Cap Sam for the win.
