𝚂𝚞𝚖𝚖𝚛𝚢:Army has seen over time the beautiful friendship between the maknae Jungkook and the model Y/N.
But since the Y/N model began to share more photos, videos, and appear in some of Jungkook's live shows, a part of the fandom began to have doubts.
𝙿𝚊𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚗:Jungkook x fem!reader
𝙶𝚎𝚗𝚛𝚎𝚜:fluffy, cute, comfort.
sometimes i'm not good with english but i try to improve^^
Tumblr media
@/Junggmaknae:Let's remember that at the beginning of 2022 Y/N model for Calvin Klein and recently Jungkook also modeled for the brand.
And we could see them together at the Calvin Klein event, leaving us beautiful moments of the two of them.
☆彡.。.:*・☆彡.。.:*・☆彡
The camera focused on the young model's back as she walked and sometimes waved and smiled at more famous people.
From time to time he would stop to talk to some people and then continue on with his business.
You could also see how people asked her for photos and she happily accepted.
The tour ended and she finally sat down, revealing the front of her beautiful dark dress but with golden details and also a beautiful necklace decorating her neck.
A few seconds passed and a young man approached her and she recognized him in an instant.
"Oh Jungkook" the shy laugh of the young woman was heard while he sat to her left "I completely forgot you would be around"
"Okay" the young man settled but keeping some distance "I don't come to this often so i'm nervous and I also forgot that I could see you here"
The event continued normally and you could see how the young people were still talking happily.
Maybe from that moment they would not separate.
And so it was, together they continued touring the place while the cameras were still recording them.
Perhaps the fact that people saw them and that they were together drew more attention, you could see how more celebrities approached them and took photos together.
They stopped for a moment while they were still being recorded "I must admit that seeing you with your hair in a half ponytail surprises me" the model put her hand close to the singer's hair
"Really?" The young man smiled. "Do I look okay?" He smiled now showing his teeth
"I'd say pretty good" her hand left her hair, the model reached for her phone and quickly looked for the camera and focused on the boy in front of her.
The young man in front of her did not notice it much until he heard the "click" that phones give when taking a photo.
"Uh?" he was surprised and turned his gaze to the front "Was that a photo?" "Let me see it" he approached the model's side, both looking at the phone
"It's a good photo" the young man agreed happily
The young people continued talking for a few more seconds until it was possible to see how they hugged each other and ended up saying goodbye and each one went their own way.
A few days passed and the model via Instagram shared photos of her with more celebrities at the previously attended event and among those photos the photo of the maknae Jungkook.
☆彡.。.:*・☆彡.。.:*・☆彡
@/Junggmaknae:As she reached out her hand touching the minor's hair, so cute T.T
And since they together called the attention of more celebrities, i am very surprised, maybe some thought that they were something more.
Could you notice Jungkook's look? How did I look at Y/N before they broke up

The sheet vinyl floor gleams beneath the light of the bathroom; your heart drums against your ribcage as you stare at your phone screen. You swallow the lump persistently remaining along with the nerves shooting through your shaky fingertips. Your ex-boyfriend, who is now a veterinarian, is about to walk through the front doors of Bangtan Veterinary Hospital, where in the past year you have gained some of the best friends you could have ever asked for. Despite what one would assume, there is an underlying reason why you left the original veterinary hospital that you had shadowed at during college, and it is not specifically due to the breakup with Jimin, although losing Jimin was part of why your heart was so shattered. Slipping your phone into your scrub pocket, you squeeze your eyes shut as you hug yourself tight, breathing in and out slowly for some form of comfort.
You moved out almost a month into starting your job here at Bangtan once your finances were enough to pay for bills, and Monnie happened to become your roommate, who also became the sister you never had. Being in tech school, it was hard to work a job and balance homework at the same time, hence why you lived with your parents until graduation- your dad, Dr. Yang, one of the top veterinarians in your country, you were inspired to be a part of the field because saving animals’ lives was something you strived to do. Plus, your father was your best friend, and you wanted to follow in his footsteps despite his eager tendency to convince you to go full on and just become a veterinarian versus a veterinary nurse.
However, the relationship is strained because of what happened, and when your nose burns from the tears welling in your eyes, you hate admitting that you miss your parents. Especially their guidance.
But, there is someone you also have missed more than anything in this world, someone who made your heart melt- someone who shared similar passions, and would risk sneaking secret kisses behind any door until your lips were bruised; someone who gave you the adventure highs of a lifetime finding new places to explore, new foods to try, new scenes to visualize, or simply laying a blanket out under the stars and talk about the dreams you both hoped to reach. Together.
You can’t face him, or so you think, and he is still unaware of why you left him to protect him, and the shame of the breakup is enough to make you want to run and hide anywhere that is not in this restroom. The fear of Jimin not understanding your side is still planted within your mind- a seed that never stunted in its growth, and you thought for the past year or so you were safe from ever having to reveal it. And maybe you still will not have to.
‘You know I don’t care if our friends know right? I think you were more concerned than I was. I don’t regret any of it. I mean that.’
Wincing, that is yet another thing you will never know how to keep secret from Jimin. Jeongguk’s text was in the early hours of this very morning when you confessed that you told Namjoon over the tipsy filled weekend. Of course, what happened between you and Jeongguk was months after you left Jimin, but Jimin was your first everything. Jeongguk and you had become very close, and one night after much alcohol consumption, but not enough to take away the memory of it all, you leaned over and kissed him. There was a pause of prolonged silence and his widened, doe eyes stared back at you in complete surprise.
Humiliation dawned over your face from the realization of what you had done, and it dripped down your chest in thick trails while you jumped from the couch and turned into the kitchen. Your head was hazy from the drinking, but you were well aware of what just happened. And he wasn’t Jimin. He wasn’t the man you were still holding onto. Something about the way Jeongguk’s hair fell into his face, and the way his tattoos peeked from his long sleeve, the way he constantly made you laugh, you felt the hint of lust. You felt the attraction deeper than you wanted to admit, but you were also filled with emotions you had never let out. All of it was dangerously tempting and you could punch yourself for giving into it all. And you were thankful Monnie had been out with friends at that time.
You were standing in front of the oven when your ears tuned into the creaking floor alluding to Jeongguk’s soft footsteps. Your arms were crossed, and you hadn’t noticed that you had been crying. Hardly lifting your eyes to him, his countenance was shy, but you slowly turned to fully face him, stammering for words. “I’m sorry.” You whispered. Thoughts of Jimin spiraled to infinity in your mind even more than before.
Jeongguk nodded, swallowing softly. He proceeded to take the short trail to stand in front of you, and you could feel your heart pounding through your temples because as much as you wanted to avoid what just happened, part of you just didn’t want to care anymore. Your heart had been through enough. What could this one night with this wonderful human being really cause? Nothing. You convinced yourself. Nothing. Jimin was gone. Jimin wasn’t coming back. Or so you thought at the time.
Your eyes flitted to stare into the innocence of Jeongguk’s gaze while he tried to read what you were thinking. Your arms uncrossed in preparation to reach for him because right now your lips were tingling for his amidst the doubt of your sorrows. It was then Jeongguk’s arm wrapped around you while his other palm touched the back of your head when his lips crashed to yours. Your body responded immediately while you hummed pleasurably against his lips; your back pressed against the oven while the tip of his tongue met yours briefly. Instinctively, your hand clutched the strands at the back of his neck letting his kiss take you away. Letting him be the escape you have needed. Begged for.
“You’re so hot,” you whispered against his mouth while you fumbled to find his belt.
“I try,” he murmured. You immediately unbuckled his belt then, looking down momentarily to unbutton his pants before you dropped them to his ankles. The couch was not far from the kitchen, and at this point, you were ready to get the motion of the ocean going. This dazed escape was going to be everything you could have asked for despite the endless picture of Jimin’s face haunting your brain. Jeongguk suddenly paused, leaning back as if to stretch.
“Are you okay?” You asked, arching an eyebrow. Jeongguk exhaled as if to whistle.
“I’m very grabby with the face and neck,” he admitted, squeezing his eyes shut as if chagrined.
“I mean…” You contemplated. “You can pull my hair?”
Jeongguk didn’t get a chance to reply or think about your words because your fingers were now bundled into his shirt while you dragged him toward the couch. “Wait, hold on, hold on-” He panicked, trying not to trip. “My pants!” You stifled a giggle when you realized he hadn’t kicked his pants off from his ankles and almost face planted onto the floor.
“Oops!” You smiled, but he caught up with you just fine, and he lifted your sweatshirt from your frame while kisses were shared in between. At this point in time, his pants and underwear were completely off while your bra and sweatshirt were tossed somewhere in the living room, yet your shorts were still clung to your body while his shirt remained untouched.
You weren’t sure how you got there, but you were led to another part of the sectional where your back was pinned against the cushions and Jeongguk slid your shorts and thong down your legs. He then reached to take off his button-up where your eyes got to visualize the entirety of his tattoos decorating him beautifully while your mouth guiltily watered. “Holy shit, your tattoos,” you breathed, fingers outlining them.
“Yeah, I got a few,” he teased knowing it was much more than a mere few. His large hands grabbed your legs and placed them on either shoulder as he struggled to unwrap a condom before sliding it on. You could feel how aroused you were and you forced yourself to feel as though you were ready. When he entered you, you gasped, especially when his strong hand first gripped the strands of your hair tautly causing you to cry out erotically. The feel of him was more than you anticipated, and you could feel the gush in your heat as he thrusted, especially when one of his hands slapped the top of the couch to squeeze it while he moved within you. Your moans were fueling him. It all was happening so fast, and you reached to grasp his hand, then his bicep, and you couldn’t stop yourself. You didn’t want to.
“Turn that ass around,” he demanded which turned you on even more. You loved the dominance. You loved that he took control of this intimacy, so you didn’t have to. Because now you don’t want to stop. You were obedient and positioned yourself. Once his length pushed into you, your teeth sunk into a pillow to mute your pleasurable whimpers while he thrusted. You forgot how much you liked it rough. You forgot how much you enjoyed sex despite your misery. But this wasn’t Jimin. This wasn’t the man you were still in love with.
Before you could let the emotions and guilt spring to your eyes, Jeongguk’s hand tangled into your hair and yanked back all while pounding into you while you moaned. You couldn’t say Jeongguk’s name. You couldn’t. In all honesty, you almost screamed Jimin’s name from how much you couldn’t stop thinking about him and what you had just done. But this was all so fucking hot.
When climaxes were reached, you cuddled into Jeongguk while his hand traced upon your bare back. You tried not to cry because now the guilt consumed you in all its entirety. “Whatever you do,” you had whispered. “You cannot tell a soul about this. Please.”
Jeongguk kissed your forehead tenderly suppressing the wonder of why you asked this, but he understood. He figured you didn’t want your friends to freak out. “I promise.” He swore. No matter what, he was going to be your friend, and he knew in his heart you would be his friend in return regardless.
“I promise, too.” Your voice broke.
A small knock on the door makes you jump and every thought you were reminiscing vanishes instantly. Your eyes enlarge as your arms unfold to lay next to your sides. “I- um, uh just a minute!” You call, your temples pounding as you shuffle to find some excuse as to why you have been in the bathroom for God knows how long pondering your past.
“y/n?” the gentle voice beyond the door nicks your heart, you grit your teeth whilst you shudder in reaction, because that voice is one you have yearned to hear, but never worked up the courage to call. “y/n…. it’s me,”
Fuck. You know that he knows that you are hiding from him, and you wonder if Monnie may have told him where you are considering you and her are some of the only technicians who work in the canine and feline department. Taking a quick look at your Apple watch, 8:55 am shines back at you in a reminder that the first appointment will be checking in soon, and from the vacancy of the red dot that signifies notifications, you assume that Monnie nor has anyone in the group chat been able to message due to the busyness of the morning chores.
With a quivering, cold hand, you will yourself to remain calm, turning the knob slowly, inching the door open to see coffee brown irises staring back at you in evident concern mingled with the same nervous tension you hold. His full lips are slightly parted as if he wants to speak, but neither of you can find words. Slim fit in some khaki pants and a nice dress shirt tucked in- a white doctor’s coat hovers around his frame, making him look as official as his license prompting your heart to feel a wave of pride for how hard he has worked. Park Jimin has returned to your life in the most unexpected way, and you don’t even know if you want to run or pull him into the longest hug you have wished for on countless nights when his face would haunt your dreams.
“Hi,” you manage to muster, almost inaudibly, closing the door behind you after flicking off the light.
“Hey,” he replies, lips pressing together, the silence that follows afterward bringing the most awkward feeling, yet you try to avert your gaze enough to not relish in how heavenly he is. If the clients are already head over heels for Jeongguk, you cannot even imagine how they will be when they see the new veterinarian that has been hired. Honestly, Dr. Seokjin gets quite a lot of compliments from the women who fan their hand in front of their face after he leaves the room- which yes, you undeniably work with some very handsome men, but with the talk of a new employee, people are going to want to witness it.
“Uh, Dr. Park?” The pair of you, in pure surprise, whirl your heads around to see a vividly uncomfortable Monnie, whose index finger is held in the air. “Sorry to interrupt, but Taehyung just checked in the first appointment.”
“Oh, yes,” clearing his throat, Jimin shares a quick nod with you before stepping in the direction of the treatment area, Monnie holding your eyes knowingly before filing behind him. “Oh, and Dr. Park, I meant to ask you this earlier, but do you happen to specialize in anything?”
Acupuncture and orthopedics, you answer Monnie’s question inwardly, because Jimin always spoke about his fascination with acupuncture and orthopedic surgeries, and what do you know he answers her question with what you essentially assumed. You are uncertain of what or why, but something stems- you jogging to enter where the exam rooms await. Brushing past Monnie, you grab the folder, taking a look at the name of the patient which happens to be a French Bulldog, Crowley, you helped the owner name when she brought him in as a puppy. Four years ago. At the previous clinic where you were with Jimin.
You always wanted a brachycephalic breed, with that name, but instead, you lived vicariously through the pet parent, LenLen Lee. Of course, when LenLen had heard you moved clinics a year ago, she proclaims how much Crowley loves you, she had to switch clinics and brought his records over to Bangtan Vet and has brought him here ever since. But, you also are aware of the way, her and Taehyung’s eyes flit away from each other when they catch each other lowkey staring.
“I’ll load the room,” you volunteer, avoiding eye contact to then reaching the lobby to see Crowley nestled in front of LenLen’s legs while he pants anxiously amongst his snorts. Taehyung is quietly talking into the phone of whoever called at the front desk, staring at the computer screen that holds the schedule for today, though his gaze flickers frequently toward LenLen. “Crowley!” You coo, LenLen smiling widely as she ushers her dog to be seated within the exam room. Crowley pelts his front paws at you in excitement at your presence as his nubby tail wags.
You immediately ask how LenLen’s day has been before covering what Crowley is due for wellness wise, discussing whatever concerns she may have for her pet. It totals up to about seven minutes, and she gives permission for Dr. Park to examine Crowley in the treatment area admitting to having an important phone call she hasn’t been able to make yet.
It doesn’t take long for you to weigh the dog, jotting down the number the scale reads. Searching the counter, you reach for the ear thermometer, Crowley shaking his head in response and you are happy to see his temperature is running within the normal limits. To finish out his vitals, you place your fingers on his femoral pulse, located on the medial side of his back leg, counting each beat in fifteen seconds, multiplying by four to receive the answer of his heartbeat per minute. Due to his panting, you are unable to gather an accurate respiratory rate, so when you carefully lift him to place upon the treatment table, Jimin reaches to pat Crowley’s wrinkly head, sliding the folder with the dog’s information to his view.
You keep your gaze downward, paying as much attention to Crowley as you can to keep from blushing at the man standing before you. Monnie steps over just to peek at what vaccines are needed, turning to draw them up for you while Jimin reaches for the stethoscope hanging in plain sight on a hook nailed into the wall.
“Any concerns?” He asks, trying to be as professional as possible though his heart is aching just as much as yours is.
“No concerns really other than his seasonal allergies, but she’s fine with continuing his allergy shot, she said he started itching again about a week ago.”
“Okay good.” Jimin looks around the table helplessly, drawers are beneath him, and you realize he may be looking for something specific. “Erm, where do you keep your ophthalmoscopes?”
“Oh!” You want to smack yourself from how jittery you are being, but you can’t help it. Jimin is here right in front of you. “Second drawer,” you point toward it, him sliding it open, retrieving the scope, screwing on the head piece before shining the light in Crowley’s eyes to check for any abnormalities. He continues the exam, palpating the abdomen, looking into the ears, checking lymph nodes, as well as maneuvering Crowley’s limbs to make sure he doesn’t admit any pain response. Though you keep a guard up, you hold your hands lightly around Crowley’s head, Jimin’s fingers only brush yours a few times, your heart leaping annoyingly that you wish you could disappear.
When returning Crowley to the exam room, you realize LenLen isn’t there. Instead, you discover a flirty Taehyung as he giggles along with LenLen, and your eyebrows raise in amusement. You have always known Tae may have had a little crush on the woman who excitingly greets her dog while it paws at her knees. Taehyung briefly shares a widened look with you as if he has been caught red handed, but you can’t help but respond with a knowing wink before wishing LenLen a good day and she gives you a swift hug. Quickly ducking into the exam room, you shoot a text toward Taheyung asking when he is going to ask LenLen out already.
“Hey,”
“Oh!” You gasp, immediately looking up to see a smirking Monnie although her eyes cloud with concern. “You scared me!”
“As I should, it’s part of my job.”
“I will get you back-” You try to breathe, bringing a hand to your chest.
“No, you won’t.” She teases before a seriousness falls into her smile. “How are you holding up? Aside from almost urinating yourself.”
“Is it that obvious?”
“Very. You know you can’t keep hiding from him forever. I know running always seems like the best option, but from the way he looks at you, I’d stop and smell the roses.”
“He is quite amazing…” you murmur because he is. And you miss that. You miss him.
“Just try to remain calm. Don’t shut him out so fast. Plus, you and I need to talk about what happened because you still haven’t told me.”
“Whine and wine?” You smile, watching the grin rise on Monnie’s face.
“Whine and wine. Now let’s continue cuddling these felines and pooches. I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been refraining from looking for Yoongi because all I wanna do is boop his button nose!”
“Oh, trust me, I know.” Chuckling, you and Monnie swap with each appointment, and though you force yourself to fight it, your head still spins profusely because what happened between you and Jimin is nearly eating you alive. Trying to find ways to preoccupy yourself, you maintain your attention on every patient that you bring back to the treatment area hardly looking your ex-boyfriend in the face. The conversation with Monnie seems to echo in the crevices of your conscious; you know she is right; you need to let your guard down and at least try.
“I was- um, I was looking to see if this dog has cataracts, but it doesn’t seem to, and I will say she doesn’t act as if she is blind. She strutted beside me like she knew where she was going.” Brushing your thumb cautiously along the medial canthus of the Bichon’s eyes, you notice that she does not seem to have lenticular sclerosis either, rather, a blue, foggy shade covers the majority of her corneas.
Jimin chuckles, reducing the anxiety smothering your chest, his eyes squint as he stares through the ophthalmoscope. “She can definitely see.” He murmurs. “Honestly, I think it’s edema. How old is she?”
“Eleven.”
“Ah, okay, she looks really good for her age,” standing straighter, he switches out the eye piece for an otoscope piece to look within the dog’s ears. “Do you happen to remember the technical term for this particular condition?”
Pausing, a nervous curl of a smirk graces your lips as you remember the fun in quizzing each other when it comes to the veterinary education. Jimin helped you immensely especially when studying for tests, and though your heart has not settled into a slower rate, you try to relax the rigidity plaguing your shoulders. “I- I think so.” You swallow, racking your brain, but instead, you deadpan. “Do you?”
Watching someone become caught off guard by your antics has always prompted you to stifle laughter, but if Jimin remembers anything about you, is that you can be a smart ass when you feel like it. Awkwardly clearing his throat, a habit he tends to do when he feels cornered, he shifts the otoscope to the dog’s other ear to visualize the eardrum. “That’s why I’m asking you.”
“Corneal Endothelial Degeneration. Must I go on?”
A small smile remains planted on his plump lips, before his eyes meet yours, holding your gaze for a few seconds after he sets the otoscope aside. “You can. But I’d love to hear it over a much-needed cup of coffee sometime.”
“I-” Somehow, in your peripherals aside from the enormous jump of your heart, you thought you saw Monnie smiling in satisfaction along with Min Yoongi at your attempt of civility even though deep down you know Jimin had not done anything wrong. Unfortunately, you did not get a chance to answer him because Namjoon comes back with concerns involving a boarder, so Jimin quickly gives the plan regarding the Bichon for you to relay to the owner to then turning on a heel behind Joon. Humorously enough, Monnie and Yoongi retreated around the corner after Jimin left, and you can’t help but shake your head playfully at their precious nosiness.
The morning seems to drag otherwise, and the mini start of a headache pounds at the corner of your forehead from the stress of everything, and when lunch rolls around, you gather your lunch box to head in the direction of your car. Normally, you spend your break with whoever happens to take it at the same time, but with the events of today, you would much rather spend it alone. Suddenly, you feel a gentle hand touch your back, leading you into the storage room that holds the prescription foods and parasite preventatives. Your eyes sporadically search to find a frantic Jimin who runs a slow hand through his hair.
“Jimin!” You gasp, but keeping your voice low enough to not be heard. “Jimin, what the hell are you doing?”
“Look, y/n, I know this is sudden. I-I tried reaching out to you when I first saw that you worked here. I just- we need to talk-”
Sadness clouds your features, and with the way your heart is racing, you would do anything to take a chill pill, or a tequila shot. “Okay,” you run a swift tongue over your lips, your mouth dry. “Talk.” The word comes out more of a croak than an actual voice, and though your fingers grip the handle of your lunch box, you feel the panic looming around your chest. What is frightening to you mostly is that you want to take him up on the cup of coffee, wrap him in your trembling arms and bury your nose in his chest to breathe in the scent of him that you have missed. So much. But the guilt consumes faster than your inward wishes can become a reality.
“I know we have a history, and I’m not sure who all is aware of it, but I just want us to be okay.”
“Me- me too,” you whisper, swallowing hard. “I want us to be okay, too.”
Jimin’s eyes scream desperation for the truth that has plagued him all year long. He deserves closure, but where do you even start? The betrayal of you is one thing, but the betrayal of another individual Jimin looked up to including you leaving him could stir emotions you do not want him to have to cope with. And, even now, standing awkwardly, you hardly can formulate a sentence in your mind to speak springing an already nervous Jimin to scan the shelves as if searching for a script to help him speak clearly. “I guess I’m still processing everything because your dad recommended Bangtan Vet to me, but never mentioned that you work here.”
Furrowed eyebrows ornament your gaze at the sudden mention of your father, because what did Jimin just say? Your lungs feel like they are not getting enough air at this news and the utter disbelief smothers your brain to the point you feel lightheaded.
“My- father referred you to come here?”
A frilly whistle sounds outside the door before it is pushed open causing you and Jimin to freeze to now seeing the dark strands of Jeongguk who halts in immense surprise when he sees the pair of you- in a storage closet- alone. Jeongguk’s lips are still poised as if whistling, but no sound emits. Though this is not the first time you and Jimin have hidden in a small room before, this is, in fact, the first time you two have been caught.
Holy fuck.
You freak, dropping your lunch box as it clangs to the ground. Leaping forward, you grasp Jeongguk’s scrub shirt while the burn in your biceps proves how hard you tug your friend as he stumbles forward. “Guk!” You close the door behind him with a thud before his back pins to the wall beside it. “What are you doing in here!? Aren’t you supposed to be feeding, I don’t know, the bearded dragons!?”
“Well excuse me for doing what Dr. Seokjin told me to do, you cake slice! He asked me to grab a flea preventative for his patient! And for your information the dragons have been given a bountiful amount of kale and juicy crickets-”
“Well feed them some more! Where are the meal worms-?”
“Okay, but can I grab the prevention for Dr. Seokjin first? I have a job to do, ya know?” Gulping, Jeongguk, who stares like a deer in the headlights, flits his gaze from your crazed expression to a Dr. Park who is stunned at the view he is now witnessing, arms outreached as if to help, but remain stiffened. Breathing heavily, you try your best to remain neutral, but the last thing you need is for everyone and their mother to know that you and Jimin were a thing. Or, for Jimin to find out that you and Jeongguk had a one-night drunken fling.
Releasing a long sigh, you reply. “Okay, but whatever you do, do not tell anyone that you found us in here,” maybe the scar from your father is why you are so afraid but protecting Jimin is what you aim to do regardless, even if it means destroying your own heart. And, with this new information you have learned about your dad mentioning Jimin working where you are is still fogging your spinning brain cells, and you know it will be a bridge that you eventually will have to cross, and for now, you try to suppress the thought. But you also know from the secret Guk has kept about your drunken rendezvous is that you can trust him, too.
Fingers bundled in Guk’s shirt, you loosen them, stretching the digits to relieve from the hard grip you had. Jimin asks which prevention Jeongguk needs and searches the shelves for his reply, handing the box to him once found.
“Um,” Jeongguk counters, flipping the box like a microphone. “At least you weren’t hiding in the bathroom this time.” You grimace at his valid point, him stepping aside to introduce himself officially to an ajar mouthed Jimin before continuing despite Jimin just handing him the prevention a minute ago. “I’m assuming the two of you have some catching up to do, and no worries, I’ll guard the door.” He winks turning back to you, he mouths silently. “Is that the guy?” Referring to the ‘guy’ you were still in love with a year ago. Nodding slightly, you whisper. “Thank you, Guk,” shoving him, “And please tell Monnie and Yoongi, if they are anywhere out there that I will put crickets in their sandwiches if I catch them being nosy again.”
“Will do. But mealworms are better-”
“I- Huh?”
“Oh!” He bellows as he turns halfway in the now opened door, an index finger held up. “If I hear reasons of why you may need apricot lube, I’m interrupting-”
“Agh! Guk!” You can hear Jimin’s chortling behind you and flushing a deep shade of red, you push Jeongguk out of the storage room, wanting nothing more than to melt into the floor.
“Apricot? Lube?” Jimin cocks an eyebrow in interest as you shamefully turn to face him.
“I may have tried a dollup?” Realizing how you sound, you panic, “But not on someone! It was a taste test! I just wanted to see what it tasted like! I’m not promiscuous-!” Damnit.
Maybe a hint of relief etches in Jimin’s eyes, but it doesn’t peel the deepened shade of red burning hot upon your chest gliding slowly to your face. “Ooooh! Don’t act like you are so innocent. You and I both know this isn’t the only time we’ve hidden somewhere secluded in a hospital.”
“I know…” Jimin bends down to retrieve your lunch box, gesturing it to you, surprisingly calm despite your panicked outburst. Your fingers touch when you reach for the item, a gentle smirk curling at the corner of his lips. “I don’t think I’ll ever forget.” With a knowing smile, you finally stare into his eyes for a full minute. Finally.
“I don’t think I will either.”

Pairing: Jungkook x Reader
Word Count: 1.4k
Warnings: None this is very soft
Genre: a lil angst with a fluffy ending
Summary: you’ve cultivated quite the reputation for yourself at your university. You date troublemakers, break hearts, and leave a trail of destruction everywhere you go. But for some reason, a sweet innocent underclassman becomes infatuated with you. And he will do anything to get your attention. Will his be the heart you don’t break? Or will your destructive nature leave him in ruin like everyone else?
***
"Do you think we parked in the right place?" Irene asks as you walk away from the car.
"We followed the directions Tae gave me so this should be the right place." You say.
"It'll be fine. Let's go! Art shows are fun." Seulgi says looping her arm through yours.
"Do you think it's gonna be student art? Like anyone from your classes Seulgi?" Hoseok asks.
"Well I dunno- y/n, did they say it was a student thing?" Seulgi looks at you.
"They didn't mention- I think it's generally for local talent. Which I'm sure would include a couple of students."
"Hopefully whoever is showcasing art is good." Yoongi muses. You chuckle and look over your shoulder to speak to him.
"Come on Yoongi-"
"Y/n!" Your head snaps back around when you hear Jimin calling your name from the entrance.
"Jimin! Tae! Hi!" You walk over and hug them both.
"You made it!" Taehyung smiles kissing your cheek.
"Of course! I said I would didn't I?" You smile.
"You look gorgeous!" Jimin says.
"You don't look too bad yourself sweetheart. Anyway these are my friends, Hoseok, Yoongi Seulgi and Irene. Guys, this is Jimin and Taehyung."
"Ah the ex's friends." Yoongi muses.
"Yoongi!" Hoseok pinches him.
"No worries, it's only the truth. Anyway let's head on in." Taehyung waves him off. He leads you all into the showcase talking to Seulgi about art. There are tons of pieces on display by various local artists in different styles.
"Wow there's a lot of different artists here!" Hoseok says.
"A couple dozen I'm pretty sure. Isn't it cool?" Taehyung says.
"Very!" You say.
"Uh- y/n?" Hoseok grabs your arm.
"Yeah Hobi?" You look at him.
"You sure you don't know anyone displaying anything?" He asks.
"What're you on about?" You frown.
"Isn't that- well you?" He points at a wall where portraits of you hang in the shape of a heart. Candid drawings, photographs and paintings make up the display and the life drawing class project is in the center. You never actually saw the final product of his life drawing class portrait but it's amazing. He's surrounded you with butterflies which you knew he would do but seems that he's also incorporated things you did together.
"Why do I have a feeling Jimin and Taehyung have something to do with this?" You mutter.
"There's only one person who could be responsible for this you know." Seulgi says.
"We need to get out of here. I can't believe they didn't warn me-"
"I assume they're helping him with whatever this is supposed to be." Irene says.
"Whatever it is let's not stick around to find out-" the sound of mic feedback causes your words to trail off.
"I think you're too late." Yoongi says.
"Of course I am." You roll your eyes.
"Hello everyone- can I uh- have your attention please?" Jungkook comes strolling into the room from a door that's near your portraits.
"I- well I'm not the host of the event tonight- he'll give his speech later- but he was nice enough to let me make a fool of myself with this grand gesture for someone- who means the world to me. Even though I was stupid enough to let her forget that." Jungkook says. A ripple of 'aw's come quietly from the crowd.
"Taehyung and Jimin are so dead." You mutter quietly.
"Y/n?" Junglook scans for you and Hoseok shoves you forward.
"Over here!" He yells.
"Hoseok!" You glare at him for a moment.
"Hi." Jungkook says.
"Hello." You clear your throat.
"I'm an idiot."
"And you needed to tell an entire art showcase that?" You ask quietly.
"Well no- but I needed to tell an entire art showcase that I love you. I love you more than anyone I've ever met. I love you more than words can truly describe- so now here I am trying to quantify it in front of a room full of strangers because that's better than losing you forever."
"Jungkook-"
"I'm not edgy- I'm not this badass in leather and tattoos who can emotionally detach or whatever. I love you- and I wanna be able to say it, I wanna cuddle and talk to you all day, and take you on cheesy dates and all that. But I know that's not your type so I tried to change. I was willing to be anything you wanted. That's why I- got worried because of your ex. I made myself bad enough for you but that isn't who I am- and I worried that you wouldn't want me if you knew."
"Jungkook- I know."
"You know-?"
"Yes dummy. I've always known that you're not some edgy hardass. You blush when I compliment you, you have juice boxes in your dorm, and you held my hand anywhere we went together. If I wanted someone like my exes I never would have spoken to you Jungkook. I don't want them I wanted you. They're exes for a reason."
"Oh- well I did start by saying I'm an idiot."
"Kookie- can we finish this conversation not in front of an audience?"
"Y-yeah of course." Jungkook says. "Uh everything except the nude portrait is going to be in the auction. Anyway enjoy looking at the rest of the art- there's some really talented work being displayed okay I'm gonna finish apologizing to my girlfriend in private." He shoves the mic off to another guy and grabs your hand. You follow him outside.
"You didn't have to do all of that." You tell him.
"Did you not like it?" He frowns.
"That's not what I'm saying. It was very sweet Kookie it was just- quite dramatic. And when did you do all of those other portraits?" You chuckle.
"Well most of them I did from memory- like when we'd hang out I'd draw them after because, like- I think about you all the time."
"They're all very good for being from memory that's impressive. You're so talented." You smile.
"Thank you. Anyway I only did all of this because I thought- honestly I didn't think you'd talk to me if I just tried to reach out."
"You know- I usually don't like public gestures, I feel like they force your hand to respond in a positive way but- I know your heart was in the right place and I appreciate that."
"I'm sorry y/n. That whole argument was so stupid. I should've just been honest from the begining- if I wasn't so busy trying to change myself into what I thought you wanted I wouldn't have let some random guy get in my head."
"Just out of curiosity- what made you think that I was dating you because I thought you were an 'edgy badass'?" You scoff.
"To be fair I did try talking to you once and you totally dismissed me but then I started dressing differently to get your attention and it worked. So I kept changing." Jungkook shrugs.
"Sweetie- a leather jacket and some ripped jeans did not suddenly change who you are fundamentally. You can crash all the parties you want but your favorite emoji is basically a pout. You were not tricking me- but I did notice the style change and I'll admit I was curious- mostly about the change. I thought you were doing some self discovery."
"So this whole time I could've been taking you on cute picnics and wearing my silly hats and cuddling you like all the time and-"
"Yes Kook- you could absolutely have been doing any of that stuff. I mean why would you want to date someone that didn't like who you really are anyway?"
"So- am I... forgiven?" He asks shyly.
"Yes but only if you stop trying to be what you think I want and just be yourself. I like you for you Jungkook with your fruit snacks and video games and your silly hat with the bunny ears and just you."
"That's like the softest thing you have ever said to me." Jungkook smiles as his cheeks turn red.
"Well- you're soft so- I can be soft too. If it means you keep blushing like that." You shrug. Jungkook flings his arms around you excitedly practically lifting you off the ground.
"There's- one other thing we should- talk about." He says after putting you down.
"What is it?"
"You need to meet Namjoon."
"Thought he hated me?"
"Well yeah but- you're my girl. Plus our friends like you- so we need to convert him."
"We aren't starting a religion. He doesn't need to like me, as long as you do."
"I know you don't care but I want my friends to like you."
"Two of them already do."
"And one of them is going to- come on, let's go inside. I'm sure he'll like you if he actually meets you."
"Are we going to test this theory now?" You blink at him.
"No time like the present my love. Let's go." He grabs your hand and drags you back inside to meet Namjoon and hopefully enjoy the rest of the night now that he has you back in his arms.

Jeon Jeongguk is annoying.
It’s the first time you’re back in the boxing gym he frequents after months vacating it, never setting foot inside the place in the time you were separated with your boyfriend. There have been many occasions where he encouraged you to come on your own and meet with his trainer — who is familiar with you too by now — but you never did. Something about feeling like you don’t belong there plays a big factor on why. The boxing gym is his setting, not yours.
Apparently Jeongguk thought your reasoning does not make any sense at all, taking your words too literally by saying the boxing gym is a public setting and anyone can train there as long as they pay for it. You had spent the whole drive to the gym bickering about this, both you and Jeongguk too stubborn to back down. When you reached the gym, he took the final words by pointing out that there are a few people inside the building, proving that it is a public setting. You had rolled your eyes as you took a seat in your usual corner, still ogling your boyfriend as he works out despite his being annoying earlier.
You think he’s done being annoying, but here he is doing exactly that by asking you to get off your seat and put on a pair of boxing gloves.
“You’re kidding, right?” You give him the stink eye as he gulps down water from his huge water bottle, chest still heaving from the exercise. You’re too busy staring at his post-workout state that you almost miss him shaking his head no at your question.
“But you just finished!” you blurt out.
He lifts an eyebrow (the one which used to be pierced, thank God it’s gone now), confused by the lack of relevance. “So?”
It’s irritating how he doesn’t see the connection and how he looks so unbothered about all of this. Even more so when he continues lifting his water bottle to his lips, now taking slow sips as he gives you a challenging stare, silently asking you to elaborate. You hate that you’re feeling a bit hot just from his stare alone.
Still, you try to maintain your annoyed expression, refusing to give in. “You’re done which means I’m gonna be doing this by myself which means I’m gonna embarrass myself in front of these people and I don’t want to do that,” you say in one breath. “So, no, I’m not going to put on the gloves, Jeongguk.”
“Who said you’re doing it alone?” Jeongguk smirks, reaching inside his duffel bag to pull out a set of clothes which he thrusts into your hands. “I’ll be your training partner. Go get changed.”
You open your mouth to voice out an objection, but he beats you before you can get anything out. “Go or I’ll do it for you right here.” The firm tone he uses means he’s serious, so you make your way towards the changing room with a huff. It’s not fair how easy he makes you do something, even when you try your hardest to refuse.
You come back from the changing room to an almost empty space, your boyfriend being the only other person in the room. He’s gotten rid of his boxing gloves, replacing them with the pads that are usually on his trainer’s hands. He’s also put on the protective head gear which hides most of his face, highlighting his big doe eyes behind it. But that’s not what you are focused on.
“Why the fuck are you sleeveless now?”
Your question gets answered with yet another smirk, this time with a shrug that’s too suspicious to not mean anything. “It’s hot, why else would I be sleeveless?” He then gestures to the boxing gloves, signalling for you to put them on. “Come on, I only booked an hour of private session. Can’t afford to waste any more time.”
You grab the boxing gloves in your hand, but before putting them on, you smack your boyfriend in the chest with it first. “You’re so annoying, you know that?” you hiss as he laughs, both of you knowing exactly why he chose to go sleeveless just now.
“You love it,” he says with a grin.
After that he starts protesting about the time again, urging you to put on the gloves so you can start already. It’s actually endearing how he booked a private session for you two so you don’t have to be self-conscious about your lack of skills in boxing in front of other people, but the way he keeps talking about it sours it a little bit. You know it’s because he doesn’t want to waste the money he has invested for the time, but still.
As it turns out, he was right to hurry you into starting, because you’re not good at any sports and so you learn really slow about it. You’ve lost count of how many times Jeongguk has to correct your posture and the way you punch, as well as taking your ill-powered jabs and missed hits. You’ve apologized probably a hundred times at this point.
“It’s fine,” he exhales, tired from holding his posture more rather than taking your hits, “at least now I can take this thing off, no way you’re gonna bonk my head when you can’t even hit the pads on my hands.” He’s talking about the head gear, which he takes off after he did so of the pads on his hands. “Go take five, babe. You still did great for a first-timer.”
You release a huge breath, not realizing that you’ve been holding it while you were exercising. You didn’t even do much yet you’re already sweating buckets, and it feels like no air is enough as you continue to inhale as much oxygen as you can into your lungs. It’s a wonder how Jeongguk can do this on an almost daily basis, with more power and accuracy than you just did. Your boyfriend might just be superhuman or something.
“How are you not — out of breath — like I am?” you pant, water bottle in hand. You can’t even take a sip because you’re breathing too hard. “Oh, wait. It’s probably — the sports bra you packed. Haven’t worn it since — high school.. yeah.. probably it.”
Jeongguk stares at your heaving chest as you continue struggle breathing, though you eventually manage to take a gulp of your water. His eyes don’t leave your figure even when you’ve stopped panting, making you raise an eyebrow in question. “What?”
He shrugs. “Maybe take it off if it’s making you hard to breathe?”
You scoff. “You’d love that, wouldn’t you.”
“I’ll take off my shirt in return.”
“HA! Nice try, Jeon.” You shake your head at him in disapproval. “Let’s continue so it can be over sooner.” You move to put the gloves back on but Jeongguk stops you, reaching for the gloves himself instead.
“Before we proceed, let me show you the correct technique first,” he says, walking over to the punching bag that you haven’t had the chance to use yet. He gives it a few jabs, jumps in place three times, then punches some more with increased speed. You don’t pay attention to his posture or punching techniques at all, instead choosing to stare at his flexing muscles that he chose to expose up to his shoulders today. You’re kind of grateful that the side that faces you is his tattoo-less arm, because if it had been his tattooed one, you’re not sure you can hold yourself from jumping him right then and there.
“Babe, come here and see how I punch so you can hit the pads correctly later,” he beckons you over, already getting into position to start punching again. You walk closer with your arms crossed in front of your chest, making sure to push it up a bit since Jeongguk made a comment about it earlier. He’s been distracting you with his arms for the past half hour, it’s only fair for you to try to do the same.
“Oh, you’re done showing off, I see,” you say in mock surprise. “We all know you’re just trying to get me to stare at your muscles. Honestly I don’t know why you’re still doing that, it’s obvious that I always stare and it doesn’t really affect me like that anymore.”
Jeongguk breaks his boxing stance, standing to his full height. His eyes glance at your pushed up chest for a second, making him let out a half chuckle half scoff. Then he takes off the boxing gloves while making eye contact with you, which you hold firmly because two can play at this game. He throws the gloves to the ground harshly.
“Let’s see if it really ‘doesn’t affect you like that anymore’.”
His takes the hem of his shirt in his hands, pulling it off his body in one quick move. The piece of garment suffers the same fate as his boxing gloves: thrown carelessly to the ground. You don’t break eye contact with him even as he reaches for the gloves again, refusing to give him the satisfaction. He doesn’t back down either, putting the gloves back on without taking his eyes off yours. You almost lost it because holy shit how can someone put on boxing gloves without even looking at it??
When the gloves are secured properly on his hands, he says: “Now let me show you what showing off is.”
Jeongguk then goes back to the punching bag, taking a stance in front of it once again before he starts punching, hard. Now that his upper body is void of any clothings, your eyes roam freely across his body, from his bulging bicep to the taut muscles of his back. From his shoulderblades, you go down his back until you reach his tiny waist. It’s the one thing that will always fascinate you about Jeongguk, how his wide shoulders come down to a waist that slim it’s almost unreal. Oh, he would look so good in a crop top.
As he continues his rapid fire at the punching bag, you can’t help but wonder about his front side, so you make your way around until you’re on his right side. His tattooed side. His inked arm looks even better when it’s flexing like this, and the newly-added colors seem to be dancing following the rhythm of his punches. Aside from his tattoos, you can also see the front of his torso from this side, his sweaty heaving chest the next destination your eyes land on. Then they come down to his taut abs, the firm lines forming an eight-pack instead of a six-pack like most people have. The way his whole body is taut from the sheer power of his punches makes you feel things that you have to hold yourself from tackling him down to kiss him senseless.
Jeongguk delivers one last punch to the punching bag with a resounding smack, making you break focus from your activities tracing your boyfriend’s muscles with your eyes. Breathing heavily, he catches your eyes and seems to just notice your change in position. His stare is still piercing, and the sound that comes out of his mouth when he says his next words almost sounds like a growl.
“One last thing.”
You thought he’s going to jab the punching bag for one last time, but he lifts a leg instead, giving a very hard kick to the poor thing. The power of his kick sends the bag and the frame shifting, it tears your gaze away from the way his thigh muscles flex. You can feel yourself getting damp down there as he approaches you while taking off the gloves before he chucks them at you almost angrily.
“Your turn,” he spits out harshly, eyes burning into yours. His harsh tone triggers you to feel as angry as he sounds, prompting you to shout your response at him: “Fine!”
Feeling a burst of courage along with your anger, you take the hem of your t-shirt and pull it off your body exactly like your boyfriend did earlier. It leaves you in the sports bra you haven’t worn since high school which has been restricting your breathing a bit, but you must admit it makes your boobs look good. No wonder Jeongguk can’t take his eyes off you now, even more so when you bend down to retrieve the boxing gloves he threw at you.
“You’re so fucking annoying,” you say through gritted teeth as you pull on the left glove. “So fucking irritating,” you continue pulling on the right one. “And so fucking infuriating.” You finish putting on the gloves, ready to punch anything now.
Instead of the punching bag, you go for Jeongguk’s chest. He looks a bit shocked at that, but remains composed as you continue hitting his chest while talking. “I don’t know what you’re trying to prove here.” Another jab.
“I already said I always stare at you.” Punch.
“I already admitted how much I like your muscles.” A jab at his abs.
“How much I like your tattoos.” A shove at his tattooed shoulder.
“How much I love your body.” Another punch at his abs.
“What else, huh? Do you want me on my knees for you?” A shove at his chest with both of your hands.
“Okay, fuck, you’re hot! Smoking hot! So fucking hot I had to hold myself from kissing the fuck out of — mmph!”
Your sentence is cut off abruptly by Jeongguk’s hands gripping your jaw and him kissing you harshly like he wants to devour you whole. The way he presses his lips against yours is bruising, you’re sure your lips are gonna be swollen after this. You try to return his kisses with the same pace, but it’s proven a difficult task as he’s set an unforgiving pace to begin with.
When he bites into your bottom lip hard enough to draw blood, you cry out in pain as your hand comes up at his chest to push him away. Only then you both realize you’re still wearing the boxing gloves, making Jeongguk grunt unhappily.
“Fuck, take them off. Now,” he demands, lips going back after yours, not even giving you a chance to properly take the gloves off. You reach blindly for the strap, but are still unsuccessful even after almost a minute of trying. Jeongguk lets out a frustrated groan when he feels you slipping away from the kiss, pulling away from your lips to yank your gloved hands into his so he can take the damn gloves off already.
“Can’t even take them off without me,” he growls, his hands wrenching the gloves off your hands. “Do you need help taking your clothes off too? Huh?” He tugs you forward by the hips, lips connecting back with yours. This time he sucks on your bottom lip, a silent apology for the bite earlier. “You have no idea how hot you look in that bra, baby,” he whispers in between kisses and sucks. “So fucking sexy, I’d have you right here, right now.”
You can’t help but let out a moan at his words, feeling your legs shake. If there was a dampness in your underwear before, there’s definitely a wet patch on it now. It doesn’t help that Jeongguk starts kissing down your jaw to your neck, where his cold lip ring constrasts the warmth of his lips and mouth. He focuses on a spot where your shoulder meets your neck, and settles there with his tongue and teeth abusing your sensitive skin until it turns an angry shade of red.
While his mouth is busy up there, his hands find home on your waist, his fingers slipping under the waistband of your shorts to stroke the skin there. You’re so overwhelmed by all the sensory stimulations that you almost stumble when Jeongguk moves his legs forward. He notices that, so he puts his hands under your thighs to haul your body up before leaning your back against the wall so he can continue his assault on your neck peacefully.
One of his hands that was previously on your thigh moves to your ass, squeezing the round flesh and eliciting yet another moan out of you. You can feel his smirk against the skin of your neck, fully satisfied of your responses to his ministrations. Feeling that your neck is covered enough by various shades of red, he kisses his way to your shoulder as his hand that’s previously on your ass moves back up to slide your bra strap off the shoulder so he has plenty of room to work. You can feel yourself gush out more wetness down there.
“Baby, look at me,” he tells you, separating his lips from your skin for a moment. You try your hardest to open your eyes and look at him through your blurry vision. You could cry from how turned on you are right now. “Can you hold yourself up?” he asks.
You’re not sure, but you nod nonetheless. Holding your arms around his neck and crossing your legs around his waist, you steel yourself as he lets go of your thigh, letting the wall and his body alone supporting your weight. You thought it’s because he wants to hold your face with both hands when he kisses you again, but you thought wrong as you let out a whine of pleasure when his left hand comes in contact with your right breast. He holds it gently instead of squeezing like what he did to your ass, but what prompts the sound is the way his thumb rubs tight circles on your nipple through the fabric of your bra. He’s too attuned with your body that he knows your nipples are very sensitive when you’re turned on like this, even under layers of clothing.
“You like that, baby?” Jeongguk exhales, seemingly not faring any better himself. His thumb continues its movements on your chest while his mouth goes back to sucking bruises onto your shoulder. Too busy feeling both sensations, you fail to notice that his right hand has gone from your shoulder. It’s two seconds later that you almost slip off the wall as you let out a surprised whimper when two fingers of his suddenly press down on your soaked core.
“Fuck, you’re drenched,” Jeongguk says breathlessly, starting to rub slow circles on your clit. You’re sure by now your underwear is far beyond ruined from how much wetness is coming out of you right now. But Jeongguk is not Jeon Jeongguk if not a menace.
“This is gonna make it worse, sorry baby,” he warns seconds before crashing his lips back on yours, the pace weirdly slow and sensual instead of harsh and passionate like earlier. You think nothing of it, accepting his kisses as how he gives them. But then he licks at your bottom lip, and the gasp you let out is used as an opportunity to slide his tongue inside your mouth. When his tongue meets yours, your suspicion is confirmed.
The fucker has a tongue piercing.
He’s been licking around your skin with that damn piercing on and you are too far gone in pleasure to realize. He continues to lick his way into your mouth, each swipe of the metal against your tongue making more wetness flow out of you. At this point, it’s a waterfall down there and you’re sure he’s aware because his fingers haven’t stopped their movement since starting it, instead going faster with the help of the added lubrication.
“What the fuck, Jeongguk?!” you manage to whisper-shout in between kisses. There are so many things you have to say to him regarding the newest addition on his tongue, but he gives you no chance as he speeds up the movement of his fingers on your clit. He alternates the pressure between hard and light to tease you, all the while swallowing your moans of complaint right into his mouth.
You feel the coil in your belly tighten rapidly with the way Jeongguk’s fingers don’t let up the pace, and you hurriedly grab his wrist to pull his hand away from your center. He’s way stronger than you, though, so the hand stays where it is and his fingers continue their assault on the bundle of nerves.
“Stop — stop — ! I’m gonna — cum — !” Your grip on his wrist tightens. “Jeong — guk! Please, don’t wan’t — to come in my pants — !”
“Oh, what’s that? You want to come on my tongue instead?” Jeongguk breathes out, his finger giving one last flick on your abused clit. You shudder, imagining the ball of metal on his tongue coming in contact with the most sensitive part of your body. “Hmm, you’d like that wouldn’t you, test out my new piercing as you sit on my face like it’s your personal seat?”
You don’t have the energy to respond, too busy getting oxygen into your lungs. Your core is still throbbing painfully after being denied the release it so badly needed (you denied yourself, so you can’t really blame anyone else), and it clenches around nothing when Jeongguk decides his taunting hasn’t concluded yet.
“Or I can continue what I was doing with my fingers, rubbing you as I insert a finger or two, feeling you gush out even more of your juices for me.” He goes back to kissing your neck pink and purple, moving to your other shoulder that’s still clean of colors. This time, though, instead of only letting your bra strap fall from your shoulder, he coaxes your arm out of the loop so he can pull down the cup part and letting your breast fall free. He wastes no time in rolling your nipple between his fingers, occasionally giving it a pinch. You can only whimper as a response.
His mouth moves downward when he deems your shoulder colorful enough, and before you know it, he has your nipple in his mouth, flicking it with his tongue and sucking on it. Even with his mouth full, he’s still determined to keep your core nice and wet for him by spewing more filthy words from between his lips.
“Or would you rather be bent over the bathroom walls as I pound you from behind?” His question sounds like a promise to your ears. “I remember that one time we did it in your shower and you came so much I thought you were going to pass out.” The image conjured up in your brain of the memory is vivid, you can remember the numb feeling in your legs after you both finished. Jeongguk had to carry you out of the bathroom because your entire body had felt like mush.
Apparently, you’re not the only one with vivid memories of that day, because Jeongguk shudders in your arms before he drops his face into the crook of your neck. “Ah, shit, I’m so fucking hard right now.” He pauses for five seconds. Then, “shower with me?”
“Only if you promise to put that fucking tongue piercing to good use,” you snap through your teeth, still reeling because your boyfriend now has a tongue piercing. “And bend me over. Slam me against the walls. I don’t care, just fuck me good.”
“Oh, baby, I’ll give you the best fuck of your life.”
Tumblr media
Later, when you’re both done with your gym activities and back in your house, watching TV on your couch, Jeongguk makes a confession.
“It’s fake, you know. My tongue piercing.”
“What??” You stare at him with wide eyes, not believing him even the slightest bit. It felt real when it touched your tongue and your.. another sensitive area.
“No, not ‘fake’ like it doesn’t exist, but it’s not actually pierced to my tongue. It’s a clip-on,” he explains, sticking his tongue out before tugging at the metal, the piece of jewelry coming off his tongue without leaving any marks. You stare in awe at the ball now in Jeongguk’s hand.
“I looked up reviews online about tongue piercings, and actually still feel iffy about getting it pierced for real. Then I found this in one of the comments, and thought, why not try it, right?” He gives you a smile as he puts the clip-on piercing aside. “Besides, I know you’re not fully on board with this idea either, so I don’t want to do anything you don’t want me to do. But I see you liked it, huh? It felt good, right?”
“Well, yeah, I almost died,” you mumble, hiding your face in his shoulder. It’s crazy how different you both are compared to an hour ago when you were busy getting it on in the gym showers. You can feel your face getting hot at the memory of him bending your body over the cold walls as water streamed down from overhead. “Maybe keep it for after hours only?”
He laughs before kissing the top of your head softly. “I mean, it’s a great compromise,” he considers. “Besides, if I do get one, I wouldn’t be able to kiss you for, like, weeks. Who can go around without kissing for that long??”
It’s your turn to laugh as you cup his cheek, angling his head so you can slot your lips against his in a soft kiss. “Certainly not you, big baby.”
Jeongguk turns his body completely to face you, pulling you into his lap so he can continue pressing his lips against yours with soft sighs slipped in between. He sneaks his hands under your t-shirt and rubs circles onto your hipbones, pulling you impossibly closer to him.
“You wanna go again? I think I can go for a round two.”
“Hmm.. no, too tired.”
“I’ll put on the clip-on and let you sit on my face. You won’t even have to lift a finger.”
“Tomorrow, okay? I’m seriously really tired and could use a nap right now.”
“Alright, tomorrow.”
“Don’t pout, you baby, tomorrow I’ll ride your face and anything else you want me to do.”
“Mmh, kay, love you.”
“Love you too, now shush or I’ll throw the clip-on out.”

Y/N stared at her phone and sighed. She tossed it on the bed as she sat on the edge with a worried face. Today was the interview and she knew it needed to be done but now that the day has come, it's scary. The whole world knows about her and they keep asking about her. She saw the tweets that were accusing her of using Jungkook to meet the girl groups she loved and how she wasn’t in love with him. She knows the truth and that's all that matters but it still made her feel so small. Jungkook opened the door and frowned when he saw her looking at the floor with a blank expression. He slowly walked up to her and sat next to her. She looked up and he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, “Are you okay, babe?”
“I’m not sure. I think I’m just nervous....I saw what people were saying about me.”
He glanced at her phone and then back at her, “Don’t listen to them. They don’t know about us.”
“I know...it just hurts.”
“Ignore them. I know it's easier said than done but I’ll be here for you.”
She looked up at him and nodded his head, “Do you think they will accept me?”
“The real fans will. I love you and only you. If they support me then they will love you. If not for you, I wouldn’t sing and if not for you, I would be in hell. You’re my ending and my beginning. My wife. We will get through this together, no matter what.”
He pushed some hair away from her forehead as she let a tear escape, “I love you, Jeongguk.”
“I love you, Y/N. Let’s go before it gets darker.”
“Okay.”
She stood up and glanced at the mirror with a worried look. She looked at Jungkook with a frown, “Is this okay?” She was wearing a simple black dress that showed off her shoulder and around her neck was the necklace that Jungkook gifted her for Christmas. She looked beautiful in his eyes.
Of course, he was matching her and leaned down placing a kiss on her forehead, “You look perfect.”
“Do I?”
“Always.”
The car ride there happened so fast that Y/N couldn’t even process anything. She didn’t even realize she was at Bighit’s building until Jungkook rubbed her thigh, “Babe, we're here.”
She looked away from the window and nodded her head, “Okay...we’re not doing pictures right? Like no photoshoot?”
“No, photoshoot. It’s just going to be us talking. It’s going to be a video but it's not going to show your face and in the magazine we have. That’s it.”
“Is my face going to blur out?”
“It’s just going to be our voices like how you wanted. Don’t worry I made sure they followed your requests. No surprises.”
She nodded her head and leaned forward placing a quick kiss on his lips, “Okay, thank you for everything.”
“Anything for you babe.”
The hallways were quiet and the only sound that was heard was their shoes echoing. She held onto Jungkook’s arm tight as they made their way. They stood in front of the door and he glanced down at her, “Are you ready?”
“Yeah...are you? You're going to get asked so many questions now because of me.”
He shrugged his shoulders and leaned down placing a kiss on her forehead, “I’m okay with that. I can talk about my wife to the whole world.”
“Are you going to tell them that-”
“Yeah, I'm not hiding anymore.”
The door opened and one of the Bighit staff smiled at them, “Are you guys ready?”
“Yes.” They both answered at the same time causing them to look at each other with a smile. They walked into the room and her nerves disappeared when she saw the room semi empty. It made her feel better. They sat down as Jungkook placed his hand on top of hers, rubbing her knuckles gently.
The interviewer smiled at them as he settled in, “Hello, my name is Park Minho and I will be doing this interview. Thank you for trusting me to do this interview.”
Jungkook smiled at him and nodded his head, “Thank you for coming.”
Y/N smiled and looked down at the table, “Thank you for taking the time out to do this.”
Minho smiled at them and took out the equipment. She placed the headphones on her ears as she looked at Jungkook who was giving her an encouraging smile. Minho opened his notebook and rubbed his hands together, “Alright, my name is Park Minho and I’m happy to say I am interviewing Jungkook and Y/N. Y/N, this is your first time coming forward and I’m sure it was scary for you. How is everything settling in?”
She swallowed some spit and moved forward to the microphone, “I-It was nerve-wracking. I’m just a normal person and there’s nothing really special about me.”
Jungkook rolled his eyes and leaned forward, “She’s extraordinary.”
“Jungkook...stop.”
Minho let out a small laugh, “You guys have been together for a couple of years now. How would you explain your love story?”
Jungkook glanced at Y/N with a soft smile, “Fate. Meeting her changed my life and I’m so faithful that I met her. She’s the greatest thing that has happened to me.”
Y/N felt her face get hot and she nodded her head, “I would say fate too. Honestly, it was meant to be because I got his photocard...I remember it like it was yesterday.”
“No one introduced you two? You guys just met by accident?”
“Yeah, I was shocked when I met him. I was extremely shy and I kept to myself. He actually came up to me.”
Jungkook let out a laugh and nodded his head, “I was curious about her. She was so shy that I had to try to talk to her. Even if she pushed me away, I wanted to try at least.”
“You were determined, weren’t you?”
“Of course I was. I heard bells the moment I saw her.”
“Kook, stop.”
Minho turned the page and glanced at Y/N, “In your note that you posted, you mentioned that you've been through a roller coaster. If you're comfortable enough, can you touch on that?”
She nodded her head and looked over at Jungkook who gave her a small smile. She glanced at Minho with a frown, “I saw the rumors on Twitter. It actually made me sick because some of the things were true and it was scary to see that someone knew it that wasn’t in my inner circle. On top of the rumors, I was getting stalked and harassed in my real life. It was too much and...I had to go back to my mom in America. I never felt so...scared.”
“I would be scared if someone knew things about me. I’m sorry you went through that. Is this the main reason why you wanted to come forward?”
“Yes...I had to be one step ahead of them somehow. I also wanted everyone to know that I love Jungkook with all my heart and I’m not hiding anymore...well hiding my face because I’m not ready for my face to be known. Still nervous about people.”
Minho nodded his head and glanced at Jungkook, “I saw that you posted on Weverse about everything. Did you feel good to post about it?”
“It felt good to let everyone know that I won’t stay quiet on this matter. When it comes to Y/N’s safety, I will do anything. It was a big moment for us.”
“I saw that you kept talking about your future. What are your plans for the future?”
The couple glanced at each other and Y/N nodded her head. Jungkook turned towards Minho with a wide grin, “Y/N, is my fiance. We’re planning on getting married.”
“Oh wow!? Congrats! Is this the first time you're announcing it?”
Y/N glanced down at her ring and nodded her head, “Yeah...it’s kind of crazy to do it where the whole world can know it. It felt nice to be so open now.”
The rest of the interview was really easy and it felt second nature for the couple. When everything was done, Y/N was mentally tired. Jungkook smiled down at her, who was leaning her head against his arm. They were on the roof of the building wanting fresh air before heading home. He leaned down and kissed the top of her head, “How are you feeling?”
“I’m feeling okay. It feels weird to have everyone know that I’m your fiance.”
“They need to know. I’m so proud of you.”
She glanced up at him and smiled, “I couldn’t do without your strength.”
“Can I take a picture?”
She raised her eyebrow, “For what?”
“I just wanted to show us off and after that interview, I want to show everyone my love for you.”
She rolled her eyes, “They’re going to be sick at the way you talk.”
“I love you and I don’t care. Just one picture.”
“Fine. After that, can we go home? I miss Bam.”
Jungkook set his phone up and glanced at her with a small glare, “Your fiance is right here but you miss him?”
“I miss our son...I also want cuddles with soba.”
“Whatever my wife wants. Now picture.”

You’ve spent the entire time pining from afar, mostly because you always seem to make a fool of yourself when he’s around, but also because Jungkook is part of that exclusive crowd, the ones that you never can seem to penetrate: the weebs. Rumor has it, there’s simply nothing he can’t do. The same cannot be said about you, but you’ve never had an issue with that. You’re happy with your small group of friends and your lack of talent in sports. And then, Jin befriends Jungkook, and you find yourself spending a lot of time with him. Kiss It Better by jincherie s wc~11.7k / cheerleader!Jungkook, college au Summary: When one goes to Kim Seokjin for advice, it’s almost guaranteed to never end well. Especially not when you decide to take the phrase fully to heart; new job, new city, new coworkers and new relationships. When you are dragged to a happy hour by your new co-worker, Taehyung, you end up sitting beside a (very) cute, (very) shy IT worker named Jungkook. Several drinks later, he mentions he is in a professional bowling league with his friends and you rather enthusiastically invite yourself along. But who?

hey i just reread ch12 and i think it’s so funny that 1. jk called her out for trying to pout to get her way
2. it didn’t work on him
3. he also called out the other guys by saying they give in 😂
i’m almost positive she pouted her way into getting guk to hold her hand on Halloween but if he wants to pretend he’s above it that’s fine lol. i was also wondering about the hybrid group chat, do they use it /just/ to signal when food is ready, come downstairs for the movie, stuff like that? or do they ever talk about other things in there? i feel like that might make a fun drabble social media au style lol where we just get to see a texting convo between the hybrids. what are those boys talking about that they don’t want mc to know????
Hiii bby!! HA I loved that scene. Jeongguk is not one to be guilted by her puppydog eyes LMAO. Mr. tough guy 💀
AND him calling the others weak in the same breath what a bastard (lovingly)!!
You're right though, she did manage to pout enough to get him to hold her hand on Halloween! Honestly, I think what does it for him is her anger/annoyance, like her reaction to him fucking with her, rather than the pouting. 😳
As for the hybrid group chat! I think they likely use it to communicate mealtimes primarily, or things surrounding the house/MC. For example, maybe there's a lightbulb that needs changing and one of them brings it up in the chat, or perhaps one of them notice MC looking under the weather/stressed out and they discuss that. Additionally, I can see smaller group chats happening between them, like a 2seok/Yoongi chat. I have the group chat drabble idea already on my WIP page, so I'm excited to get to that when I find the time!
Thank you for sending in this fun ask bestie 💕💕

You've got all these weird- yet lovely feelings for Jungkook that churn in your stomach. It was only a couple days ago when you explicitly acknowledged that those feelings did exist- and you were determined to do something about it. Despite only being friends for a few months, you were aware of Jungkook's sometimes mundane and docile nature, so you also knew that you had to be the one to make a move.
Obviously, you and Jungkook had some strong chemistry between the two of you. The reason you like him is because you feel comfortable with him. You feel like you can be yourself around him without any judgement or apprehension. So, you aren't necessarily worried to make a move on him, but excited (?) in a way.
The dynamic between you and Jungkook is drastically different from your previous relationship. You and Jungkook started off as friends, both constructing a blossoming relationship with each other, while Taehyung- you had always been slightly intimidated by Taehyung. He'd always been the cool, popular, and hot guy and you later realized that you had developed some weird inferiority complex because of that. You lost respect for yourself in attempts to please him, and that was something you wouldn't do again.
You meet Jungkook in the front of a Boba place, and he's practically glowing when he walks up to you with a white hoodie and jeans on.
"Jungkook!" you exclaim, running towards him.
"Oh hey, Y/N," and he's got a hand on his nape, shyly looking down at you with a slight crimson hue gracing his cheeks. "I saw your outfit check on Twitter- I think it's cute," he mumbles.
Oh gosh. Why's he being shy all of a sudden? Him being shy is making you shy. The two of you were practically all over each other this past week. Your progress? It's quite literally going backwards.
"Thanks," you reply tenderly. You put your behind your back, and you're shifting your weight between your legs. "I promised I'll treat you. I'll get you a drink?"
So, there the two of you go, waddling into the Boba place.
"Sorry if I'm being a little low energy," Jungkook says, the two of you almost at the front of the line. "I didn't sleep much last night- I was thinking about the integration bee, and I know you told me that I should stop worrying about it, but I can't help it-"
"Can we get one taro boba and one iced coffee boba with four espresso shots please?" you rudely cut him off, talking to the cashier while you're giving him a fierce (well, trying to be fierce) side eye.
At this, Jungkook can't help but crack up because you're being oh so extra like you usually are. "Four espresso shots?" he asks as the two of you are walking to sit down.
"Yes, four espresso shots. This is your punishment," you say firmly, tapping your finger on his forehead.
"What did I do?" he asks, playing along with your little gimmick.
"You keep feeling bad about yourself when there's nothing to feel bad about. I told you I hate it when you self depricate, so you better stop or I'll actually kill you," you say. You hold up the boba straw as if it's a knife and like you're about to stab him. Instead, you stab it into your drink and take a sip from it instead.
Jungkook just laughs in response. "Stop trying to threaten me when you've got taro residue all over your lips," and he's reaching over to wipe your bottom lip with his thumb.
You just shrug in response, and Jungkook is left with nothing to do but admire how beautiful you look.
"So why did your mom want you to go on a date so bad?" you ask, mixing your drink with the boba straw.
Jungkook takes a sip from his own drink and shrugs. "She's dramatic. I haven't- you know had a girlfriend or anything like that and she's worried I'm going to die alone."
You snort. "That's harsh. You're definitely not the only one though. I would have been like that too- if it weren't for my ex. He was my first kiss, first boyfriend. You and I were almost in the same boat." You say it while you're looking down at the table, but your eyes scan up eventually to see his reaction.
"Honestly Y/N, fuck that guy. With all my heart, fuck that guy," is all he says. And for him, that was a pretty bold statement, so you're surprised but not really. You've been getting to know his true personality these past few months.
"Hey wanna take a picture with that mirror over there?" he's pointing to a circular mirror at the top corner of the boba place, and you're enthusiastically nodding along. God knows how much you love taking pictures.
So there the two of you are. You wrap your arms around his neck and he's pulling out his phone to take a mirror pic. Once done, he shows it to you and you're smiling at how cute the two of you look. "Airdrop it to me! Can I post it?"
He's giving you his classic bunny smile and nodding. "Of course."
-
The two of you are walking around the city, talking about his Twitch. He tells you that his viewership has increased by 50% and is thanking you for it. Really, you didn't do much, and you insist that it's because he's good at gaming and has a sweetheart personality that makes everybody melt.
Then, you guys end up talking about Demon Slayer. "Jungkook, when I watched Mugen Train I literally fucking cried myself to sleep for the rest of the night."
He's laughing, turning you to squeeze your checks with his hand, forcing your lips into a pout. "That is so Y/N," he states. "You should have called me, we should've watched it together," he insists, wiping the fake tears that you're pretending to cry.
"Can we watch the next season together? Please? I saw the trailer for the next series but it was literally-"
"Still images?" he interjects, causing you to both crack up. "I pressed on the trailer on YouTube thinking it was going to actually be a real trailer, but it was literally just a PowerPoint with still images."
"That's exactly what I was thinking! I was excited for nothing," you laugh, nudging him with your shoulder.
"When it drops, want to watch it together? We can meet at the Internet cafe or you can come over?" he's raising a brow at you and you're smiling and nodding in agreement.
Hm. So he's inviting you over to his place.
"Pinky promise that we'll watch it together? Even if it's exam season or something?" You're holding out your pinky and he completes the agreement.
"Promise."
And all of a sudden it looks like a light bulb goes off in his head, and he's dragging you to up the sidewalk. "I really want to show you this cute new manga store. We can read the series before we watch it?"

-
And there the two of you are. You're snuggled up to him in the corner of the manga shop on a single beanie chair. Your head is resting against his chest and his palms are holding open the comic book that the two of you are extremely engaged in.
You take a moment to look away from the manga to Jungkook. You think that he's one of the cutest boys you've ever seen in your life. His eyebrows are furrowed because he's oh so focused on reading Demon Slayer. His lips are pursed, and you genuinely wonder if he's gotten a nose job from how perfect his nose bridge is.
Gently, you hands come down to close the book which warrants Jungkook to look up and face you. He's giving you a confused look, and all you're focusing is on his lips. His cute lips that are covered with saliva from how much he's nervously been licking them.
"Y/N?-"
You gently press your lips against his. It's nothing too intense- nothing too crazy. There's no tongue, and it only lasts a moment. He's completely still, completely rigid, and he-he just doesn't do anything after you kiss him.
You look up at him and he looks stunned. He's frozen. Suddenly his phone goes off, and he's pulling it out of his hoodie pocket to view the notification.
"Oh um, my mom is calling me to come home," and just like that he's scurrying off the chair, and away. Away from you, away from what just happened.
Instantly, regret and humiliation washes over you, and you wish you never did that.

heads up its very long!
☆ ⁄⁄ ★
When the four of them returned to Haryun’s apartment, Haryun began cooking. A few days ago, when she asked everyone what they wanted to eat, luckily for her, a few people suggested the same dishes, so she only had to cook six different dishes. She had no time to waste since she only had four hours until it was three o’clock, and everyone would begin to arrive at her apartment.
Seyoung, Yebin, and Jeongguk took shelter in the living room. The three sprawled across the different pieces of furniture while they watched whatever they had playing on the television. Between cutting all the necessary ingredients, timing each dish so that they would be done around the same time, and making sure she had enough dishes to plate and cook everything--Haryun was stretched thin.
She refused to ask for help from Seyoung, Yebin, and Jeongguk because they were her guests, and Haryun had better hospitality than that. The only other option was Moonhee, but just as Haryun thought to make her way to Moonhee’s room to ask, the girl came into the kitchen dressed as if she were preparing to leave.
“It smells delicious, Yun-ah,” Moonhee muttered as she shuffled around the kitchen purposefully.
Without looking up from the stove, Haryun reached into the fruit bowl on the counter and grabbed Moonhee’s keys. She threw them over her shoulder, directly into Moonhee’s hands, before she asked, “Where’re you going?”
Moonhee rounded the island and walked to stand beside Haryun. “You know where I’m going.”
And as Haryun stirred the sauce in her pan to prevent it from boiling, she had to think about where Moonhee would be going when she knew it was Family Dinner Sunday. Not just any Family Dinner Sunday, either--Extended Family Dinner Sunday, a special event.
The low murmur of the television in the living room mixed with the sizzling from the pan as Haryun realized where Moonhee was going. She let out a tiny gasp and a small giggle as she took her gaze away from the stove and turned to look at her roommate.
“You’re going on a date?”
Moonhee rolled her eyes playfully as her phone buzzed in her hand. “Yes, I am. After all of the complaining you did, I should at least give it a try.”
“Well, I think that it-”
“And he’s here,” Moonhee interrupted, already knowing Haryun would get sentimental and mushy about the ordeal. She appreciated the support from Haryun, but Moonhee just wanted to get the date out of the way for Haryun’s sake. “I’ll see you later, Yunbun. Save me some food.”
Moonhee was gone before Haryun could tell her to have fun. But with the busyness of the kitchen and Haryun engulfing herself in completing all of the dishes efficiently, she hadn’t realized that time had escaped her.
The clock on the stovetop read three o’seven as three knocks and a ring from the doorbell echoed throughout the apartment. If Haryun had checked her phone, she would’ve seen the texts from Yoongi and Hoseok letting her know they were on their way. If she had seen the texts, she would’ve gone to change out of her day-old sweatpants and the oversized shirt she had stolen from Moonhee months ago.
But she didn’t, and there was no time to change as Seyoung got up from her place on the loveseat to answer the front door. Haryun could hear Seyoung introduce herself to those on the other side of the door before she instructed them to take off their shoes and join her, Jeongguk, and Yebin in the living room.
“Jeonggukie, I haven’t seen you in years!” Seokjin cried out once he saw the younger boy lying on the floor in front of the television. “Yebinie’s been keeping you all to herself.”
Seokjin took a spot on the floor between Yebin and Jeongguk, falling into conversation with the two, natural and playful. Namjoon walked into the living room right behind Seokjin, but instead of lying on the floor with Yebin and Jeongguk, Namjoon fell into conversation with Seyoung. The two spoke quietly with one another, Seyoung taking her spot back on the loveseat and Namjoon sitting on the couch adjacent to the loveseat. Whatever topic they had fallen upon had them engaged with Namjoon talking animatedly and Seyoung listening actively.
The last two to enter were Hoseok and Yoongi. They walked through the living room, greeting the three already there, but they both had a specific target as they walked through the apartment. They were looking for Haryun, and the two of them walked straight into the kitchen where said girl was facing the stove, none the wiser about the two people who had recently joined her in the kitchen.
But that ignorance was shortlived, seeing as Hoseok let out one of his signature high-pitched noises as he walked behind Haryun and bombarded her with a hug. The action scared Haryun a bit, but as she cast her gaze over her shoulder to see Hoseok, her look of terror morphed into excitement.
“Hobi!”
“Bestie!” After Hoseok squeezed Haryun twice, he moved to her left side, inhaling deeply and taking in all the smells from the pots and pans on the stovetop. “It smells really good, Haryunie.”
“I hope so,” Haryun responded as she reached to turn off each burner on the stove. “I’ve been at it for hours, Hob-ah, hours.”
“Is everything done? Can we eat?” Hoseok was eager as he eyed the food with drool practically dripping from his lips. Haryun squeezed his cheeks with one hand, guiding his eyes to hers.
“Patience, Hobi,” She instructed, patting Hobi’s cheek twice. “Besides, you just got here. Go talk to Seyoungie or something and let me finish in here.”
While Hoseok began whining, his voice high-pitched and cute, Haryun turned to face the direction where she felt a heavy gaze. Yoongi eyes ran along her body, Haryun becoming self-conscious with her current state. The steam and humidity in the kitchen caused her hair to frizz, with a few strands sticking to her greasy face as she stressed. Her shirt was littered with stains in different spots and different shades, a tell-tale sign of how hard she had been working the past few hours.
She looked disgusting.
But Yoongi’s eyes held anything but disgust, and as Haryun skipped over to him with a sweet smile, his eyes only grew fonder.
Haryun’s voice was soft as she called out to him, “Yoongi,” Her arms wrapped around his waist so naturally as she fell into his arms. She pressed kisses wherever she could before Yoongi turned his face to hers and their lips met sweetly.
The moment the two got lost in one another, Hoseok took that as his sign to leave, muttering, “Yeah, I’m not dealing with this,” as he went.
His departure went unnoticed as Haryun moved her hands to Yoongi’s cheeks to kiss him harder and deeper, showing how much she had missed him within the last day. For the first time since the two had begun dating, Haryun and Yoongi hadn’t seen each other the previous day. With Yoongi having morning practice, Haryun having a later practice, and both being busy in between, they had to rely on text messages to get them through the day without seeing one another.
It held them over for the time being, but it made these kisses sweeter—the way Yoongi gripped her waist was intoxicating and made his plush lips feel softer. Haryun could drown in Yoongi’s presence, warmth and comfort radiating from him in waves.
His touch remained soft as his hand trailed down her back where it rested on Haryun’s waist, pulling her closer to him with a soft sigh. A giggle poured from Haryun’s lips at the sound, but she remained close and pressed one more kiss to his lips.
For a few moments, there was only Yoongi and his strong hands, soft lips, and husky chuckles at the way Haryun tucked her face in his neck. Sometimes hugs were the only thing Haryun needed to have a good day, most of the time, they came from Moonhee, but recently Yoongi had taken that responsibility. And while Yoongi may not be the fluffiest, most cuddly human out there, he was warm and large enough to engulf Haryun’s five-foot-four-inch frame, and that was all she needed in life.
And it was blissful while it lasted because a few seconds later, a voice screeched from the living room, “Quit suffocating each other and bring the food!” Seyoung had taken to leaning over the back of the loveseat with a grumpy look. “I’m hungry, and Momma needs to eat.”
Begrudgingly, Haryun gave Yoongi’s butt a concise pat before she pulled away from him and yelled over his shoulder, “The three douches aren’t even here yet, so we can’t begin!”
Right on cue, as if God teleported them to the apartment, Haryun’s front door slammed open with a bang. Everyone’s attention turned to the door, interested in the commotion, as three figures shuffled through the threshold, bringing a loud volume amid the chaos.
Luda was first, her tiny body hugged by the jean overalls she sported and the reusable mesh tote she always used for groceries tucked in her arms. The bag alarmed Haryun because no one brought food whenever they had family dinners. It was agreed upon in the beginning that Haryun would cook everything to make planning less chaotic and manageable. But recently, the three idiots had taken to bringing booze to every function, and it was alright to drink a bit. After all, that was the entire purpose of Sunday Family Dinners, to let loose and not care for a moment.
Yet it turned into a catastrophe for Luda, Geummi, and Namie whenever they drank. Case in point, Haryun’s broken coffee table a few months back. Geummi was the worst regarding intoxication, but Namie and Luda weren’t any better. This was why, as Luda skipped into the living room and unloaded the bag of its contents, Haryun braced herself for the night ahead as she pulled out not one, not two, but five bottles of different flavored soju.
Seyoung took it upon herself to scold Luda for the alcohol. “Dude, we agreed with no alcohol this time around.” The oldest of them had stood and placed the bottles in her arms, turning to put them in the kitchen.
Immediately, Luda pouted and was joined by Namie and Geummi, who had taken their time placing their items by the door.
“Oh, come on, Unnie, don’t ruin the fun,” Geummi complained, following right behind Seyoung into the kitchen while she tried to grab the bottles out of her arms. “We paid good money for these.”
Namie remained in the living room. She greeted Hoseok quietly and introduced herself to Namjoon before she crawled onto the floor to lay on top of Yebin, who welcomed her with open arms. In any of these situations, Namie was often the mastermind but always left Luda and Geummi to do the bidding. So with that information in mind, Haryun called out to the Japanese girl.
“Namie, we know this was your idea.”
Namie attempted to play carefree, but the devious smirk on her lips gave her away. “I would never.”
Seyoung seemed very upset. “And yet, you always do.”
All the soju bottles were on the kitchen island, calling out to the three who had just walked in but taunting Haryun with an ultimatum. The night could take an interesting turn if she let them dig into the alcohol. But if she locked the alcohol away in her special cabinet and left it for another night (one Haryun was sure to come), she could keep the night in control.
Quietly and almost invisible during the heated discussion happening between the three girls in the kitchen, Yoongi reached for the bottle of peach soju and examined it closely. Seyoung began digging into Geummi with that motherly passive voice that only she knew how to use while Haryun cosigned and pointed out that Luda and Namie were also to blame.
Not understanding the intense conversation, Hoseok spoke up from the living room. “Why can’t we drink?”
“Yeah,” Yoongi said as he shook the soju bottle. “It’s just soju.”
Geummi pointed at Yoongi excitedly, her gaze turning to Seyoung and Haryun with a proving expression. “Exactly. Why can’t we get drunk and eat some good food?”
“Because it’s you.” Seyoung’s words were to the point, and Geummi frowned. “And Luda and Namie.”
“Hey!” “What exactly does that mean?” Namie and Luda chimed in from the living room.
Haryun shook her head as she turned back to the stove, remembering that she had to plate all the dishes and still move them to the coffee table in the living room so everyone could eat. This dinner was supposed to be simple, everyone gathered together to get to know each other better and eat good food. The argument between Seyoung and Geummi was not letting up, and Luda had joined them in the kitchen to provide backup to Geummi’s debate.
“Alcohol loosens everyone up,” Luda argued. “It brings our true selves to the surface.”
“Your true selves are toddlers with super strength. You break everything in your path,” Seyoung countered.
Geummi ironically replied. “Not true.”
Haryun didn’t even think to stop her ministrations as she transferred the Galbi-jjim from its pan onto a serving dish as she interrupted, “What about my coffee table?”
“That was a fluke!” Seyoung let out a scoff and slammed her hands on the island countertop, and even Luda chuckled a bit. They both knew Geummi had broken more than just the coffee table in the past. That was the most recent and significant item she had damaged with her drunken mishaps.
“It was!”
And with the convoluted voices and heated arguments, Haryun realized that this was who her friends were. The three idiots were borderline drunks who wanted the most fun they could in their most malleable years. Sometimes--most times--they were unhinged and behaved like untrained puppies, just happy to be there, but it's what made them fun to be around. Was it sad that alcohol helped them open up? Yes, and it was concerning that they were in their early twenties and so dependent on being inebriated to open up, but Seyoung, Haryun, and Moonhee never let them get too bad.
But it reminded Haryun that if she wanted Yoongi and his friends to get to know her friends, there were going to have to get all the craziness and drunken shenanigans that came with them.
So, Haryun relented. “Just let them drink, Unnie.”
The argument halted so fast that a record scratch would be appropriate as the three of them looked to Haryun; Seyoung confused, and Luda and Geummi excited.
“Really?” Seyoung sounded unsure, her eyes telling Haryun not to let this happen.
But Haryun shrugged and finished plating all of the food. “Let them do what they want. But I will say,” Haryun made sure to level her eyes with Geummi’s. “Remember, we have company.”
Haryun spoke the words in vain because as soon as Geummi was sure that soju was acceptable, she twisted open the green apple flavor and took a swig. Yoongi looked taken aback, shocked at how smoothly it seemed to go down for the girl before she passed it to Luda, who mimicked her actions.
Haryun giggled at her boyfriend’s expression, thinking he was only seeing the tip of the iceberg since the night had barely begun.
“Oh, Yoonie,” Haryun had plated everything on separate dishes and was ready to bring everything into the living room. “This is Luda and Geummi, two-thirds of the annoying leeches I’ve told you about.”
Yoongi nodded as he waved and gave the two girls his adorable smile. Haryun couldn’t help but swoon. “I’ve met her before,” Yoongi pointed at Geummi, who blushed and nodded in agreement. “You’re Coach’s niece.”
“Yeah,” Geummi replied, her cheeks red with a tiny blush. It was funny to see her so shy.
“And you already know Seyoung-Unnie,” Haryun added, knowing that Seyoung needed little to no introduction, no matter who it was.
“Y’know, Yoongi, I have a few questions that I think-” Seyoung began as she rounded the island, took him by the arm, and led him into the living room as she spoke.
Haryun watched them leave, a bit nervous and never knowing where Seyoung could go with her questions. Sometimes they were innocent and genuinely curious, and other times they had ulterior motives to scare and intimidate people into submission.
She just hoped Seyoung played nice since she wanted to keep Yoongi for a long time.
As the two of them left the kitchen, Luda and Geummi attempted to follow.
“Nuh-uh,” Haryun moaned, catching both girls' attention. “Where are you guys going? You know the drill,” She gestured down to the plates of food and the empty plates and silverware that everyone would use to eat everything. “And Namie, you too, come on!”
With a few moans and groans, Namie got up from her spot on the ground and joined the rest in the kitchen. Every Sunday Family Dinner, Luda, Geummi, and Namie helped Haryun set the makeshift dinner table. Seyoung was responsible for cleaning the dishes, and Moonhee would put the dishes away. Yebin hadn’t been officially worked into the cleaning-up ritual yet, but she liked to help wherever possible. But seeing as Jeongguk had taken the spot Namie recently abandoned, laid out on top of his girlfriend, Yebin wasn’t going to help set the table.
Everyone crowded around the table as the four girls set the food down. Haryun encouraged everyone to help themselves, Seokjin taking her words for face value as he dove straight in and moaned in delight. With each noise that left his mouth, they grew more sensual, and Geummi looked more entertained.
“Seokjin-ssi, you’re very vocal,” she giggled as she helped herself to a mouthful of japchae. “Keep going.”
Luda and Namie giggled at Geummi’s words, to which Seokjin winked at Geummi and continued to eat. Watching as everyone stuffed their faces, Haryun felt satisfied, but she refused to start eating until she changed. Her clothes felt heavy with grease and food fumes, ruining her appetite.
Noticing Haryun hadn’t taken a seat, Yoongi gestured for her to sit with a pat on the floor, his eyes round and pleading. “Yun-ah, sit down.”
“Give me one second,” She petted his head softly as she turned to make her way toward her room. “I need to go change. I’ll be back.”
No one else batted an eye at Haryun’s temporary departure, all of them being too busy shoveling mouthfuls of delicious foods into their mouths. But Yoongi, who couldn’t help himself, watched as Haryun left, something he did almost every time Haryun left him. It was hard to take his eyes away from her, but he had no choice once she disappeared.
Luda, who had taken to watching Yoongi out of interest, chuckled to herself. “Yoongi-ssi, she’s coming back. She didn’t leave forever.”
Seyoung had placed more food onto Yebin’s plate as she chimed in. “He’s in love, Lulubee. Leave him alone.”
“I was just saying!” Luda defended herself, causing everyone to laugh. “You would think he was a puppy, and she had a treat for him.”
“She is the treat for him,” Geummi joked.
Another giggle came from the three girls, Hoseok and Jeongguk, joining in as they enjoyed the teasing their friend was receiving. The television was still on in the background, providing an amiable noise to tune out the frequent sounds of munching and the occasional grunts of satisfaction from Seokjin, Hoseok, and eventually Namjoon.
Moments passed, and Haryun still hadn’t returned. Yoongi had gotten his fill at this point, his stomach full, his tastebuds satisfied, and a slight buzz from the two shots of soju Geummi had forced into his hand. While sober, Yoongi was attached to Haryun like a parasite; slightly tipsy Yoongi wanted to be molded into her as one, never possible to be separated.
Yoongi peered down the hallway every few minutes, his eyes searching for his girlfriend and his ears ringing out for any sign of her footsteps. He had half a mind to get up and grab her, but before he could push himself off the floor, Haryun skipped down the hallway as if she had only been gone a second.
She had changed, and her hair was much tamer as she smiled and giggled at the sight of everyone practically slumped over with their stomachs full and their hunger satisfied. Before Haryun could make it any further than a few steps past him, Yoongi reached for her wrist and pulled her down into his side, catching her before she could hit the ground too hard from the momentum.
“Geez, hyung, don’t hurt her,” Hoseok grumbled from his spot on the opposite side of Yoongi. “She did just cook you an amazing meal.”
Everyone had abandoned their dishes around them, Haryun maneuvering to reach over and grab food for herself to enjoy as everyone else fell into a comfortable conversation. She noticed light blushes on everyone’s cheeks, showing they had already begun drinking. Everyone else had finished two soju bottles, the empty bottles lying elsewhere as the newest bottle of Peach soju was calling out to Haryun.
While she preoccupied herself with the soju, Yoongi grabbed a bowl for her and placed a scoop of japchae into it. He was careful with his movement, allowing Haryun to drink before gently placing the bowl in her hands, along with a pair of chopsticks.
“Thank you,” Haryun flushed as she took the items from his hands, and he wrapped his arm around her waist. They were squeezed together on the floor, and she was practically in his lap, even though there was more than enough room to stretch out. Haryun didn’t move, though. “Did you eat enough?”
As she took her first bite, she noticed that Geummi had moved across the floor from where she had been earlier. Now, the slightly drunk girl was leaning against the side of the loveseat, with her head receiving rhythmic pats from Seyoung whenever Geummi groaned loud enough. Haryun thought she had only been gone for a brief second, but apparently, there was enough time for everyone to eat and stuff themselves before she returned.
“I just realized where I knew you from, Geum-ah,” Seokjin spoke up, his eyes bright with realization. “You’re the girl who took pictures for the school newspaper last month, right?”
Geummi closed her eyes as she whined for more pats from Seyoung, but she still replied, “Yeah. The pictures came out great.”
“Yeah, I know,” Seokjin said. “I found your Instagram and followed it. The one where you post all the photography.”
“Wait, wha?” Seokjin’s words made Geummi sit up fast, Seyoung’s hand knocking into the side of her face due to the speed. “You did what?”
“Ah, hyung, the one with all the museum pictures and stuff, right?” Namjoon added, utterly unaware of the aneurysm he was causing Geummi to undergo. “I followed it too.”
Hoseok looked around the group, confused. “What Instagram? I want to follow it.”
“My god,” Geummi muttered, turning to make eye contact with Haryun. “Please don’t.”
Through her spoonful of food, Haryun tried not to laugh. Everyone except for Yoongi, Namjoon, Hoseok, and Seokjin knew what Geummi was going through. It was so apparent by how she looked like she was about to cry, and her eyes never left Namjoon, who complimented her on her photography and Instagram account.
Many of Geummi’s answers to his questions were clipped because she knew if she attempted to speak her true thoughts somewhere in there, she would ask him to bend her over to go at it. Sure, she had a few drinks, which made her lips loose. But she wasn’t gone to the point where her college career-long crush on Namjoon was going to be revealed.
She would die before that ever happened.
And Namjoon--sweet, innocent, puppy-eyed Namjoon was none the wiser. “We should go to a museum together, Geummi-ssi. It would be fun.”
And in one instance, Geummi’s face fell. Luda snickered so hard that a small amount of water leaked from her nose as she quickly attempted to cover it up but failed miserably. Haryun was thoroughly entertained as she ate, feeling a tap on her waist as Yoongi leaned over and asked what was going on.
“Is she okay?”
Haryun shook her head with a laugh in response. “She’s fine.”
Geummi looked pained as she physically restrained herself from leaping across the coffee table and bombarding Namjoon with her presence and a shit ton of kisses. Seyoung could sense the tension in the younger girl sitting in front of her and reached down to pat her head again.
“She would love to,” Seyoung answered for Geummi. To which Namjoon smiled generously and shrugged his eyebrows in interest. “Geum loves museums.”
“Oh really?” If Namjoon had an issue with Seyoung answering for Geummi, he didn’t show it as he leaned forward, willing to talk all day about one of his passionate hobbies. “Which ones have you been to?”
Their conversation was lost in everything as Hoseok reached for the bottle of soju at the same time as Namie, causing their hands to collide. Hoseok sat to her right, with Luda to her left, and the three talked about dance and the like for most of the dinner.
“Go ahead, Nam,” Hoseok conceded, going as far as to pour the shot for her before he poured his own. “I’ll always let you go first.”
Namie nodded in thanks as she downed the drink, a sigh of relief leaving her as she relaxed a bit more with the alcohol in her veins. She could feel Luda glaring at the side of her face, waiting for her to turn towards her, so she did the exact opposite and looked past Hoseok to Yoongi.
“Yoongi-ah, when are you going back brown?” Namie asked, brushing Luda’s hand from her waist nonchalantly. “I miss the brown.”
Yoongi was caught off guard at the question, too preoccupied with feeding Haryun for the time being. “Oh? I’m not sure. Since it’s already blond, I might dye it a color.”
“I suggest red,” Jeongguk said, his eyes never leaving whatever was playing on the television. “Or like a blue.”
“Blue is terrible,” Namjoon disagreed. “His skin is too pasty.”
“He prefers the term pale,” Seokjin corrected. “But Namjoon-ie is right. Blue would be a bad choice.”
Geummi, with her eyes glazed over, added her opinion. “Do black. Everyone looks sexy with black hair.”
“Yoongi is sexy now,” Namie nodded. “Blond is a good color but boring.”
Luda gasped, causing everyone to look over at her. “Do orange like Jimin’s.”
Yoongi shook his head, appreciating all of the hair color suggestions but not needing them since he didn’t want to change the color anytime soon. “I think I’ll stick with blond.”
“Haryun-ie, bestie,” Hoseok called out, to which the girl looked up from her food. “What do you think?”
“I like him blond. Although I don’t remember him with any other color,” Haryun shrugged as if the conversation was unimportant. “I suggest he grows it long, though.”
“Like a mullet,” Yebin nodded.
“Exactly.” Haryun reached over to comb her fingers through Yoongi’s hair just once, leading him to place his head on her shoulder and hug her closer to his body. “But he’ll be cute either way.”
Namie faked a gag, standing to her feet to move from her spot between Hoseok and Luda over to Seyoung and Geummi. “You guys are gross.”
“They’re worse than Yebi and Jeonggukie,” Luda joked, gesturing to the younger couple, who weren't touching one another for the first time that night. “And that’s saying a lot.”
“Aw,” Hoseok pouted. “I think they’re cute. Seeing as I’m the one who set them up makes perfect sense.”
Seokjin, who had helped himself to another round of food, groaned at Hoseok’s statement with a roll of his eyes. “Stop trying to take credit for their love because it wasn’t you!”
“But who invited Haryun to Hope World the first time?!”
“No, no, but wait,” Luda intervened. “Haryun-ie was going to go anyway. Right?”
Everyone’s gaze turned to Haryun, wanting to know whether or not Hoseok genuinely was why Yoongi and Haryun ended up together. It had been the one thing Hosoek refused to let go of ever since Yoongi told him that Haryun was his girlfriend. Maybe it gave Hoseok a new glow because it was his goal when he invited Haryun to Hope World at the beginning of the year.
But before Haryun could answer and put the suspense to rest, the front door clicked open, followed by a loud grunt and the slam of shoes hitting the ground. Only then did Haryun realize the sun had set a long time ago, and it was dark outside, meaning that hours had passed since the beginning of the dinner began.
Without thinking about who it could be, Luda, Namie, and Geummi shot up from the ground and ran over to greet Moonhee at the door like excited puppies. They were closer to Moonhee since she was the one who often fed them and hung out with them whenever they whined enough for her to do so. She was also the only person the three actively listened to whenever she instructed them to do something.
And that fact was easily exhibited when Moonhee told them to let her go, and they immediately stopped hugging her and gave her some distance. She took the opportunity to walk into the living room, the three following behind her in a line, and she greeted everyone sitting around the coffee table.
“Hi, guys,” Moonhee sighed, exhaustion evident. “I didn’t miss much, right?”
Jeongguk turned to face Moonhee as he reached up and hugged her around her legs. She patted his head twice before she bent to her knees to hug Yebin and wave to Seokjin.
“Moonhee-yah, I noticed you weren’t here,” he said as she waved to him. “I missed you.”
Everyone laughed as Moonhee rolled her eyes lightly, smiling a bit at his antics as she moved on to Namjoon and where he sat on the couch. Swiftly, she stepped over his long legs, greeting him quietly before she sat next to him, tired as she slumped into the corner of the couch, right behind Yoongi, Hoseok, and Haryun.
“I’m so tired,” she groaned, grabbing the hand Haryun extended out to her and squeezing it. “I just want to eat and lay down and sleep.”
Namie and Luda joined Moonhee on the couch, one on each side of the tired girl as they cuddled up to her side. Haryun watched as her best friend allowed the two girls to hug her for a second before Moonhee dropped Haryun’s hand and stood to make her way to the kitchen.
“What’s left to eat?” Moonhee asked once Haryun had followed her into the kitchen. “I’ll eat anything at this point.”
“Lucky for you,” Haryun squeezed Moonhee’s waist briefly before she made her way to the oven, which had been left on a low temperature to keep what was in it warm. “I got you rotisserie. And I didn’t let anyone touch it, so it’s just for you.”
Moonhee placed her hands over her heart as she cooed, sincerely touched by the gesture. “Thank you, Yun-ie.”
Haryun shrugged. “Think of it as thanks for going on a date. I know you only did it for me,” She pursed her lips as she paused. “So it’s the least I could do.”
While Haryun placed the rotisserie on the kitchen counter, Moonhee went to the fridge to grab the condiments she liked to have with her chicken. Buldak chicken sauce, lemon, and mustard were her sauces of choice, and while all of her friends thought she was disgusting for mixing those three, Moonhee devoured it every time.
Happily, Moonhee coated her chicken with a large helping of the Buldak sauce and mustard, humming to herself as she took a small bite and did a tiny dance due to how delicious her concoction was after her long night.
Without wanting to pry too much, Haryun was curious about the date Moonhee went on. She didn’t know who the date was since Moonhee only mentioned that someone had asked her out and that she was going to go, but Haryun hoped it went well.
So with as much nonchalance as she could fake, Haryun asked, “How was the date?”
Moonhee had broken off a leg from the chicken and was deep into it as Haryun asked the question. It took her off-guard, but she swallowed her bite and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand before she replied, “Like all of the others.”
Haryun watched Moonhee put more mustard on her chicken before her friend continued, “He said he thought tattoos were tacky and ruined my skin. Even if he did want to go on another date, I wouldn’t accept. Anyone who can’t accept every part of me isn’t worth it.”
Before Haryun could agree and reassure her best friend that someone out there would appreciate her for all of her, a voice chimed in. The voice startled them both since they were under the impression they were having a private conversation.
“Oh, but your tattoos are cool, Moonhee-yah,” The voice was Seokjin. He had snuck into the kitchen for water but had come in at what seemed like the perfect time. “I like the giraffe the best. It’s just like you.”
He continued to the fridge and grabbed a water bottle as if he didn’t just butt into their conversation. Haryun would’ve politely asked Seokjin to give them some privacy, but Moonhee looked relieved at Seokjin’s words as if they were the right thing she needed to hear.
“Is that rotisserie,” he continued as Moonhee squirted an extra helping of mustard on the next piece she was eating. In the few minutes she had been munching on the chicken, she tackled almost half of it with determination. “With mustard?”
“It’s good,” Moonhee defended.
Uncertainty wavered in Seokjin’s eyes, and wordlessly Moonhee offered him a piece of chicken, one drenched in both Buldak sauce and mustard. It confused Haryun a bit since Moonhee wouldn’t even share chicken with her sometimes, but Seokjin just got offered a piece his first time at their apartment.
Maybe Haryun was a bit jealous, but the feeling passed once Seokjin ate the bite of chicken with hesitance. He took a moment to chew, taste the flavors, and then swallow with a pleasantly surprised expression.
“Not bad, Moonhee-yah,” he complimented. “You gonna eat the whole thing yourself?”
“I always do.”
Why did Haryun feel like she was witnessing something she wasn’t supposed to? Should she look away? Or maybe just go back into the living room? Thankfully, she didn’t have to decide, seeing as Seokjin began to take his leave and head back toward the living room.
But before he left, he turned to Moonhee and said, “If you need someone to take you on a proper date, I’ll always be available.”
The offer shocked Haryun so much that she had to take a step back and lean on the counter. Moonhee simply nodded and turned back to her chicken as if Seokjin hadn’t just suggested that he take her on a date, which sent Haryun spiraling.
“Why didn’t you accept?”
“It’s Seokjin, Yun-ah. He never means it when he asks me on dates.”
That had Haryun’s eyes almost bursting out of their sockets. “He’s asked you out before?!”
With a shrug, Moonhee grabbed her chicken and all the condiments in her hand before she walked into the living room, leaving behind her best friend to come to terms with the newfound information she had discovered. She had been there for a while since Yoongi entered the kitchen to look for her.
“Are you okay?” Yoongi raked his eyes up and down her body before he hugged her, alarmed at Haryun's stillness. “You’ve been in here for a minute.”
The warmth from his hug knocked Haryun from her stupor, and she returned the hug quickly, pressing her body close to his.
“Did you enjoy the food?” Yoongi shoved his face in her neck while she spoke, his hands trailing down her back slyly as he pushed them further into the kitchen. The movement was distracting to Haryun, but she allowed it nonetheless, wrapping her arms around Yoongi’s neck for balance.
Once Yoongi had successfully crowded them in the far corner, up against the counter and away from prying eyes, he groaned out an answer before he pressed a kiss into Haryun’s neck.
“Very good, thank you.” His breath was warm, and a shiver ran down Haryun’s spine, which led her to tilt her head close to his and ghost her lips over his.
There was a slight lilt in their movement, both swaying as they wrapped themselves up in one another’s presence as they would typically do whenever they were together. Yoongi’s hands had dropped further, now brushing on the bare skin of the back of Haryun’s thighs and dangerously close to disappearing beneath her shorts.
Their noses brushed together as Yoongi breathed. “I just needed some time with you.”
Haryun giggled. “I’m always here to give my time to you.”
Yoongi hummed low before he finally pressed their lips together. It started sweet but ventured into lewd once Haryun parted her lips and pulled him closer by the back of his neck. Very rarely would she usually participate in such a distinct act of PDA in a place where anyone could witness. Sure, these were people she was comfortable with, and she knew they would never judge her, but it was just something Haryun would rather keep behind closed doors.
Most of those things were private and only between her and the person she chose to do things with, but with Yoongi, it was hard not to fall to her knees and beg him for more. It was not something she was proud of, how vulgar her thoughts about him would get just from hearing him talk about odd things like wainscotting or the benefits of eggs in your ramyeon. Or that tiny tick of his lip when something he wasn’t happy with occurred, but he didn’t want to show that he was upset.
In short, even the little things about Yoongi got Haryun riled up. So imagine the storm of desire raging through her once Yoongi slid his rough hands beneath her shorts and squeezed the flesh he had cupped in his grasp. The moan that escaped Haryun’s mouth would’ve been louder if Yoongi wasn’t kissing her, but the moment the kiss ended, Haryun shoved her hands beneath his shirt, his skin warm to touch.
Their breaths were heavy, but it didn’t stop them from reconnecting and tuning out the increasing volume of their friends in the living room. Even if she tried her hardest to tune them out and focus on kissing her boyfriend, Haryun could always tell when Geummi was veering off into a drunken rage just by the tone of her voice. To Haryun’s utter disappointment, it was happening at that moment.
“You are insane if you think he is a good father, Seokjin-ssi!” Geummi was hiccuping and slurring between words, a tell-tale sign to Haryun that she would have to wrap whatever she had going on with Yoongi up and help her friends in the living room.
But then Yoongi readjusted his grip on her ass and pushed his hips into hers, allowing her to feel just how aroused he was from them fooling around in the kitchen, sucking Haryun back in. Yoongi’s skin was soft but not softer than his kisses, no matter how eager the kisses turned.
Her fingers gripped his skin as she kissed him with hunger, her hips canting in sync with Yoongi’s, and she moaned whenever she felt like she was about to explode. It was intoxicating, and it was fun, it was-
“Ohh,” A collective gasp echoed from the living room, knocking Haryun and Yoongi apart just as the sound of pattering feet followed the gasps.
Worry etched itself across Haryun’s features as she dropped her hands to her sides and attempted to move around Yoongi and into the living room, but she couldn’t make it far. Yoongi’s arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her back to his chest swiftly.
“I just know she broke something, Yoon,” Haryun rushed out, her hands folding over Yoongi’s where they wrapped around his waist. “It’s always something with her-”
“My dick might fall off if you leave me like this,” Yoongi groaned into her ear, frantic and panicked, and Haryun could feel that he wasn’t exaggerating. He could poke someone’s eye out with the erection he was sporting, and it was funny when Haryun thought about it.
“Don’t laugh,” he hissed. “Just don’t move.”
She giggled anyway and shuffled forward with Yoongi draped over her back, using her as a shield to protect him from shame and embarrassment.
As they had made it into the living room, Seyoung shouted, “Haryun, they broke something else!”
Haryun scanned the living room for any damage. The coffee table was fine, everyone still had all their limbs, and the television was still on the wall. So what broke? Geummi was curled into a ball on the floor with Moonhee laid across her back, seeming to keep Geummi on the ground. If the whines and complaints were anything to go by, Geummi was unhappy that she was being pinned down.
Across the coffee table, strewn across the floor in a starfish position, was Namie, and she was giggling to herself as she kicked her feet, drunkenness written all over her features. If she weren’t held hostage by her boyfriend, Haryun would’ve rushed over and helped Namie catch her bearings, but before she could even think to move, Yoongi squeezed her closer to him in a warning.
“So what broke?”
Slowly, with something cupped in his hands, Namjoon stood from the floor where he was kneeling. Shattered glass was in his hands, and from the design, Haryun knew it was one of the large serving plates she had used to serve the braised ribs earlier in the night. And since Geummi only knew how to break things that Haryun cared about, it was the plate that her parents had gifted her when she moved from Jeju to Seoul, a going away present of sorts.
“You’re shitting me, right?” The anger wavering in Haryun’s voice was scary, and Seyoung stood up to block her view of Geummi to prevent things from escalating further, but it was futile at best. “Why is it always something my parents give me, Geum?”
“I told her not to lunge across the table,” Luda spoke, her tone laced with pride at being proven right. “She didn’t listen.”
“To be fair,” Moonhee grunted as Geummi shoved her extra hard, still attempting to get off the ground. “Seokjin provoked her.”
Seokjin guffawed, his ears red as he was drunker now than he had previously been when Haryun first made her way into the kitchen. “What did I do?!”
“You entertained her bullshit argument,” Moonhee rebutted. “I told you to stop!”
“She did, hyung,” Jeongguk pointed out. “So maybe this is a bit of your fault.”
“It is his fault!” Geummi shouted. “Blame him, Unnie, not me!”
Haryun was getting a migraine at all the back and forth, pointing the blame at one another. Maybe she should’ve stayed in the kitchen with Yoongi. At least then, she was feeling good and not about to have a conniption.
“Just,” Haryun breathed as she glanced at the digital clock beside the couch. It was a quarter to midnight and time for the dinner to be over. “Let’s clean up, sober up, and we’ll reconvene. Okay?”
No one moved an inch or spoke a word, which led Haryun to repeat herself. “Okay?!”
“Yes!” “Okay!” “Mhm.” “Heard.” They all murmured as they rushed to pick up anything off the floor, and everyone began shuffling around. However, Namie remained on the floor, though too far gone to move a muscle. Taking notice of her state, Hobi rushed to Namie and helped her sit up with a bottle of water in his hands. He guided it to her lips and helped her drink, which Namie graciously accepted as she downed half the bottle in one go.
Seokjin, Seyoung, and Namjoon crowded around the sink as they alternated washing dishes, drying them, and putting them away in a fashion that seemed rehearsed. Moonhee had taken Geummi to her room, knowing that the end of Geummi’s night had already arrived and she wouldn’t be able to make it past this little mishap no matter how much Geummi wanted to stay with everyone else.
Jeongguk, Yebin, and Luda took to cleaning up the living room. Jeongguk swept the floors while Yebin picked up random pieces of trash, including the five empty soju bottles scattered around the living room. Luda was pretending to oversee the clean-up, but she was watching Hobi take care of Namie with a weird look on her face, one that Haryun noticed, to which she snapped her fingers and called Luda over to where she and Yoongi had been standing the entire time.
“What’re you doing?” Haryun asked, her arms crossed and eyes glaring. “You look suspicious.”
“Oh, I look suspicious?” Luda sounded accusing as she gestured to Haryun and Yoongi and the way Haryun hadn’t moved from in front of him the entire time. “You and your boyfriend look like statues over here, all freakishly still and whatnot.”
Yoongi cleared his throat, not at all quiet or inconspicuous about it.
“That’s none of your business.”
“Oh my god, he has a bo-” Luda was too smart for her own good sometimes, which was why Haryun pinched her in the neck, shutting the younger girl up in an instant.
“Be quiet.”
With a whine, Luda pouted and conceded. “Fine, but when you settle it later, can you keep it down? I need a full eight hours.”
“First of all, I’m always quiet,” Haryun whispered, attempting to keep it from Yoongi, but of course, he heard and poked Haryun’s side to let her know. Luda snickered, entertained with it all. “And second, where are you planning on sleeping? You know Geum is already in Moonhee’s bed.”
“I’ll just join you once you finish with whatever,” Luda waved off, not at all concerned with her sleeping arrangements, knowing that whenever she did fall asleep, it would be in someone’s bed. “Just don’t be naked and change the sheets.”
And with that, Luda walked into the kitchen to join the miniature assembly line that Seyoung, Namjoon, and Seokjin had begun. For a moment, Haryun and Yoongi still recalled what Luda had suggested.
“Is she serious?” Yoongi asked, a bit petrified at the calmness Luda held when mentioning that she was going to share a bed with them. “Or is she joking?”
“I do not think she is joking, but if you don’t want to share a bed with her, Yoonie, I can tell her,” Haryun turned to face Yoongi as she spoke, not at all shocked at Luda and her antics. “We’ve done it before, but if you do-”
“With who?”
A shy smile appeared on Haryun’s lips, and she pressed a soft kiss to Yoongi’s cheek. “No one important. But it was just once. Luda doesn’t mind any of that.”
“Well, I don’t mind sharing a bed with Luda,” He responded, his tone low and even. “But, if so, we aren’t having sex. I don’t feel comfortable doing that and then letting someone lay in bed with us.”
So then maybe Luda would have to sleep somewhere else because Haryun was looking forward to that part of the night. And she wasn’t so sure that she was going to give it up.
“Uh, why?”
“That is very awkward, and our first time cannot be rushed or shared with someone else.”
“We aren’t sharing per se. Luda’s just joining us afterward.” Was she wrong to try and sell this to Yoongi? Maybe he made a good point that their first time shouldn’t be this way, but Haryun was not sure she could wait.
“Still no.”
“Just the tip?”
Yoongi looked incredulous at his girlfriend. “What is- No!”
“Oh my god, please,” Haryun hugged him tighter, showing her desperation. “Just a little.”
“There is no such thing as a little sex, Yun-ah.”
“Then just let me blow you.” It was something.
“No,” He paused to think about it, and his eyebrows raised in interest as he thought about it. “Wait, seriously?”
Haryun perked up at his consideration. “Yes.”
“Well,” There was a shout from Seokjin behind Yoongi that they both ignored, Yoongi tucking Haryun’s hair behind her ear gently. “We can do that.”
“Okay, good,” she smiled wide and uncontrollably. “Let’s do it now!”
With too much excitement and anticipation, Haryun began dragging Yoongi toward her room, completely forgetting that she still had all of their friends in her apartment and that, officially, dinner hadn’t ended. And Yoongi reminded her of that fact.
As Haryun slowed her footsteps, a pout on her lips, Moonhee walked out of her bedroom in a new set of clothes without Geummi. At the sight of her best friend, Haryun gasped, catching Moonhee’s attention.
“Oh, Moonie, let everyone out and tell them we’ll see them later. I’m going to blow Yoonie.” Haryun rushed out, bouncing on her feet with genuine excitement and a tad too much innocence in her words.
Yoongi blanched at the bluntness of Haryun’s words, turning to explain to Moonhee a lie that he was preparing, but Moonhee said, “Okay, have fun,” and continued down the hallway. There was no time for Yoongi to mull over any of the conversations in the hallway because, in a millisecond, Haryun had him inside her room and forced him to sit on the edge of her bed. The door closed and locked.
“Okay,” Haryun breathed as she kneeled on the floor and tied her hair into a bun, her eyes glued to the erection poking through Yoongi’s sweatpants. “Time for a blowie.”
Yoongi groaned at her choice of words, but he still let Haryun pull down his pants. “Don’t call it that.”
And even though Haryun had told Luda that she was always quiet, she never said anything about Yoongi.
