You can’t believe you got accepted into the UA academy as a foreign student, you were only told you were a more suitable candidate, but when you walked in on your first day and Aizawa introduced you and sent you to your assigned seat, there was a shift in the room. Most of the boys were nodding but the girl looked elated. Between classes, you were told why by Ashido who couldn’t contain herself from meeting the cute Latina girl who was a vast improvement from a perverted little dingus who had evidently let his scores slip just a bit too much to overlook his scuzzy behaviour. You are so happy to meet all of your new classmates!

Midoriya just about faints, his face is so red and for once he is literally speechless. Someone please save this poor awkward boy.

Ashido, Hagakure and Uraraka love the idea and immediately pick up the greeting, you all are fast friends cause they think you’re so darn cute.

Momo, being the smart girl she is, immediately picks up on it being a cultural thing, though she admits that she may need to read up on it’s proper use before returning the gesture.

There is no reaction from Todoroki, he blinks and walks away, it takes some explaining on your part before he can look you in the eyes again. Another poor awkward boy.

Kaminari takes it a bit too literally and immediately begins flirting, though after some really terrible pick-up lines(you have to laugh though cause they are that kind of terrible), you manage to explain and while he lays off for the most part, sometimes he’ll pull one out just to see you laugh.

Sero takes it completely in stride, and he’s pretty interested when he learns it’s something from your culture

Iida, bless his soul, starts rattling off proper japanese greetings that don’t involve kissing, he means well, but the awkward boy group keeps growing.

Tsuyu thinks it’s really cute, but tells you it’s a weird way of greeting someone your not friends with. She decides the best way to fix the problem is to befriend you anyway.

Kirishima blinds you with the grin he gives you after you greet him. He laughs about it in the nicest way and casually explains how it might not be a great greeting for most people.

Jiro is pretty okay with it too, and she low key decides it’s cool and when she discovers the other girls doing it too, she is kinda happy to get the casual smooches.

Tokoyami is surprisingly flustered, and his blush is more of a sheepish gesture than actually being able to see his face go pink. You figure out pretty quickly from his reaction that perhaps another greeting is in order for next time.

The rest of the boys react politely, if not bashfully in their own ways. You kinda had to convince Shoji to bend down, Koda was really quite embarrassed, Sato didn’t really know what to do, so he just offered you a cookie and Ojiro just fumbled a bit with his tail.

Bakugou’s personal bubble is the largest of anyone’s so actually getting close enough for a greeting such as this takes some time, and by this point you already know it’s going to get a hell of a reaction. He opens his mouth to yell, but nothing comes out and you can swear his ears are going red before he snaps his mouth closed and stomps off. The girls turn it into a game of who can get the most smooches in before he explodes, which isn’t very far judging by the explosions coming from the dorm common room that night.
