If Nefarious Breach, You Must Impeach - 04/26/2024
Presidential immunity is something that I haven't previously given much thought to, probably because it's something that hasn't surfaced much as an issue until recently. Yesterday at Trump's hearing on presidential immunity, US Supreme court justice Samuel Alito questioned whether prosecuting former presidents would harm the country's governance. Trump's lawyers argued that former presidents should have absolute immunity for official acts they made during their tenure as president. They said if they didn't, then prosecuting former presidents would become routine and would undermine future presidents from being able to execute difficult decisions without worrying about future legal repercussions. After all, our country's presidents are commonly put in difficult positions wherein the right thing to do would be considered illegal if performed by any other citizen outside of the executive office.
While speaking to Michael Dreeban, an attorney for special counsel Jack Smith's team who are persecuting Trump in two other cases, the Bush-appointed justice (Samuel Alito) asked him this. “I’m sure you would agree with me that a stable, democratic society requires that a candidate who loses an election, even a close one, even a hotly contested one, leave office peacefully, if that candidate is the incumbent?” “Of course,” replied Dreeban. Alito further posited this, “if an incumbent who loses a very close, hotly contested election, knows that a real possibility after leaving office is not that the president is going to be able to go off into a peaceful retirement, but that the president may be criminally prosecuted by a bitter political opponent, will that not lead us into a cycle that destabilizes the functioning of our country as a democracy?” Dreeban replied that he believes there are “lawful mechanisms to contest the results in an election and outside the record” but claimed that President Trump and others “filed dozens of electoral challenges and my understanding is they lost all but one” in the courts following the 2020 election. He continued, “There was an appropriate way to challenge things through the courts with evidence, if you lose, if you accept the results, that has been the nation’s experience. I think the court is well familiar with that.”
Alito rebutted those assertions on whether there are enough legal safeguards to handle prosecutors acting politically. Dreeban and Jack Smith's team have said that prosecutors must go to grand juries for securing indictments as a check against prosecutions that are politically motivated. The justice responded by saying, "prosecutors could convince a jury to indict a ham sandwich."
Trump's lawyers also argued that their client was merely performing his duties as president while looking to uncover voting fraud during the 2020 election.
This week in New York, the former President, in reference to the Supreme Court case, told reporters the following. “If you don’t have immunity, you’re not going to do anything. You’re going to become a ceremonial president, you’re not going to be taking any of the risks, both good and bad.”
Chief Justice John Roberts, along with at least four other justices didn't seem to support the claim that absolute immunity would stop Trump from being prosecuted on charges of supposedly conspiring to overturn his loss in the 2020 election. Roberts was also with several of the other justices who indicated that the case might need to go back to the lower courts previous to the start date of any trial.
Roberts also showed his dismay with the reasoning brought by the Washington appeals court who gave the ruling against President Trump. During the hearing, the chief justice said this. “You know how easy it is in many cases for a prosecutor to get a grand jury to bring an indictment and reliance on the good faith of the prosecutor may not be enough in some cases.”
So, it appears to me that it's likely they will uphold limited presidential immunity, not absolute immunity. As such there's a good chance that it will go back to the lower courts to determine if he was actually performing his official duties while he was questioning the legitimacy of the 2020 election results. If it's determined that he was, then immunity would apply, if not then it won't.
Oh, and by the way, there's something I forgot to mention. In the framer's wisdom they installed an important mechanism should the POTUS (President of the United States) engage in severely unlawful, egregious acts; Impeachment, - Duh! (I can't believe I forgot that and it's so important that I had to change the title of this post from, SCOTUS Hearing on Presidential Immunity.) Under impeachment it would require a 2/3rds majority vote in the senate to convict the President or one of his office holders. So, in deference to a famous Johnnie Cochran line, "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit;" although with the opposite intention: "If nefarious breach, you must impeach."

Tik Tok on the Chopping Block - 04/25/2024
Yesterday, Joe Biden signed the Tik Tok Divest-or-Ban bill into law. I covered this bill extensively in my post, "Tik Tok Bill/HR 7521" back on March 16th of this year. This bill forces ByteDance to sell Tik Tok within one year. It's clear to me that this Chinese owned company is controlled by the CCP and is using it to gather information on US citizens and influence children toward committing self-harm and suicide.
Tik Tok's CEO, Shou Zi Chew released the following video statement yesterday. "Make no mistake, this is a ban, a ban on you and your voice. We are confident, and we will keep fighting for your rights in the courts. The facts and the Constitution are on our side, and we expect to prevail again." He was referring to how they circumvented Trump's executive order to ban the app in the U.S. back in 2020. Tik Tok's position is that through China's Counterespionage Law, its customer data is stored in Virginia and backed up in Singapore. They claim that they have never or ever will share U.S. data with the CCP. Yet the owner of ByteDance previously issued a letter of apology to the CCP about failing to follow the CCP's directives. It's obvious to me that they are more of an arm of the CCP than a private company and we should not trust them. At the same time, I'm also conflicted about trusting our own government. Regardless it's now signed into law, like it or not.
Tik Tok and ByteDance together spent over $7 million since the beginning of this year on TV and digital ads in an effort to stop legislation from passing the bill. A Tik Tok spokesperson said this, "This expenditure reflects work we do to educate policy makers about how legislation could affect our community of 170 million American users." Tik Tok officials lobbied Congress and Biden's executive office last quarter. Biden's executive office contains the National Security Council, the Office Management and Budget, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, and other divisions.
As I mentioned in my previous post on this bill last March, Donald Trump and Elon Musk both came out against it. Trump is concerned that it could expand government powers on other platforms, and Musk is concerned about censorship. The bill is intended to remove any foreign influence and investment in social media platforms and websites here in the U.S. The government would have to prove that a foreign entity is directly involved and then initially force divestment, and then later if necessary deplatform the app and shut down their operating websites.
I'm all for private companies operating platforms that allow freedom of expression, but not if they're being operated by a foreign adversary like China's CCP. Yet I'm always very skeptical of our government and their tendencies to over-reach in order to go after their political opposition. Especially with this current bunch in charge. All we can do is to stay informed and hopefully for the sake of our freedom and security vote in Republican majorities in both the house and senate, and get Donald Trump back into office, in my opinion.

My Mind Is Opening Up - 04/25/2024
Something wonderful is happening to me. About a month ago I decided to quit using marijuana, but I thought quitting cold turkey would be too difficult, so I decided to limit my usage to once a week. After my first week from that decision, I noticed a significant improvement in my cognitive and writing abilities. My thoughts were coming to me with much more clarity. I'm finding it much easier to figure things out and creatively express my thoughts more effectively. These last few weeks have been very interesting. In that time, I have created 9 riddles and wrote one of my most entertaining and interesting article which I posted here last week entitled, "What You Really Need to Know About the Trump Trial in New York But Were Afraid to Ask." My thoughts and emotions just poured out from my mind, expressing my frustrations at the current situation involving Trump and his legal battles, as well as the declining state of our once great country. The riddles began with my first one I recalled from memory as a question I asked myself about 20 years ago, which I was never able to find an answer to until about two weeks ago. The question, which I decided to use as a riddle was this, "What is both the smallest and largest thing in existence?" Not only did I find an answer, I found 50 of them, which can be found on my website; RealitysReal.com, at the end of the Poetry & More section. The process of my reasoning was very interesting, as I found myself using the same line of thinking for other areas of consideration. As an example, in reference to the riddle I just mentioned, as I was going through a process of logical analysis, I discovered that the word, "everything" is slightly different than the word, "existence."
Existence only contains everything that actually does exist. Everything is closer to reality in the aspect of having both abstraction and the concrete. Although abstraction does exist, since it is an abstraction as a form of energy produced by the mind, its existence can't be completely independent as inherent since it's originated form something that can. For example, the idea that not anything is real would wipe away everything including itself because the idea as an idea and not what it represents is real, but not true.
I went on to describe some of the answers I had decided to use and others to eliminate, and I'll not disclose those in case you're interested in trying to solve the riddle yourself. In an earlier analysis leading up to the conclusion that everything and existence are different, I was considering two particular words, "theory" and "words," as answers to the riddle, which I had decided not to use. This is what I wrote.
Words? That's sort of like theory. Those could each erase themselves out, but they don't have to. That's like suggesting the possible representation of the smallest and largest. Does that qualify? No, not really. My other words can't just be anything in relation to how they would apply to the riddle, whereas "theory" can be immediately disqualified by the suggestions of alternatives or implied modifications. The word "words", however, being as universal as existence itself in what they can represent, that they can be applied correctly. And since that being accurate is or should be the goal of using "words", as is the goal of "theory", they merely work as a potential, but not exclusively as an actualized one as they can be mistaken. Whereas a universal word like "existence" can only be as it is. Therefore, "theory" and "words" do not work.
This was quite a process of reasoning in determining the answers to my riddles, and one riddle in particular kept me up all night. I find what's happening to me as my mind continues to expand to be very interesting. I must remain sober so that I can further advance in this enlightening journey I'm on. Where it leads me is yet to be discovered, I suspect I will create many more ideas and expressions of meaning and purpose. My mind is on fire and my desire is to keep rolling with it so I can bring to the world something of value that will positively inspire my readers to improve their quality of life. I really do believe that thinking adds value in many immeasurable ways...

The One Good Juror for Trump Dismissed & A Man on Fire - 04/20/2024
The one good juror for Trump that I mentioned in my previous post two days ago was dismissed yesterday. As far as this sham trial is concerned, it's not looking good for him. Another juror who was unexpectedly accepted because of her very heavy bias against him. She thought Trump seemed “very selfish and self-serving,” adding, “I don’t really appreciate that from any public servant.” In fact, it seems impossible to find anyone not biased either for or against. Of course, given that this judge (Juan Merchan), like the persecutor Alvin Bragg, suffers from a serious case of TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome), he accepted only those who either dishonestly claimed no bias or admitted a bias against him, which is ridiculous but par for the course. With the one juror gone, it appears that Trump's chances for an acquittal or hung jury is of course somewhere between none to none. In an article from the Epoch Times yesterday, "Trump Demands Trial Judge Remove Gag Order Before Walking Into Court," they said this about the selected jury. "The jury of Manhattanites includes a sales professional, a software engineer, a security engineer, a teacher, a speech therapist, multiple lawyers, an investment banker, and a retired wealth manager." On the one juror who looked favorable to Trump, he said, “We just lost, probably, what probably would have been a very good juror for this case, and the first thing that she said was she was afraid and intimidated by the press, all the press, and everything that had happened.”
On Thursday, District Attorney Alvin Bragg wanted Trump to be found in contempt for violating judge Merchan's ridiculous gag order. Prosecutor Chris Conroy also wanted the judge to find him in contempt for the same reason and asked him to sanction $1,000 for each violation. “The gag order has to come off. People are allowed to speak about me and I have a gag order,” Trump said yesterday.
Just after the final jurors had been selected, a man outside of the courthouse set himself on fire to draw attention to the manifesto he posted online which is a very lengthy description of a conspiracy theory of the rich and powerful taking over the world. He brought a sign with him which read as follows. "Trump is with Biden and they're about to fascist coup us." Not very good grammar. Part of his manifesto said the following. "My name is Max Azzarello, and I'm an investigative researcher who has set himself on fire outside of the Trump trial in Manhattan. This extreme act of protest is to draw attention to an urgent and important discovery: We are victims of a totalitarian con, and our government (along with many other allies) is about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup. These claims sound like a fantastic conspiracy theory, but they are not." Clearly anyone who would set himself on fire has a seriously bad mental condition. Although I must admit that there are some global elitists who desire world dominance and are making efforts in that direction, such as Charles Schwab who authored the book, "Covid-19 and the Great Reset." However, I'm extremely confident that Donald Trump is not a part of it because he's fighting against those efforts with his America First agenda which intends to make our country stronger and us citizens more free, independent, and prosperous. Apparently, this is the fourth person to set themselves on fire in the last few years, a disturbing trend that hope won't continue.

Stupid War - 04/18/2024
In a delayed (from lack of US support) response to Iran's direct missile and drone strikes to Israel on April 13th, Israel launched missiles and drones in a surprise attack on Iran's military airbase in Isfahan today. That is where Iran's command and control center is located and is their headquarters of nuclear research. It appears they didn't hit any of their nuclear facilities. It was probably more than just a show of force and to put them off balance. There's a good chance they'll launch more attacks. I fear that Iran's evil regime might instigate violent assaults through some of their terrorists that were let into the US through the southern border by this administration and the UN. I hope Israel can destroy a lot of their nuke sites, obviously they won't be able to take out the ones that are underground. Joe Biden or anyone from the White House is yet to publicly announce a response or make any kind of statement. The attack occurred at about 11 pm Eastern time, so I suppose they didn't want to wake him; after all, sleepy, creepy, compromised Joey needs his sleep. Not many details have been reported yet, I suppose they'll find out more tomorrow morning. I hate writing about war, and since it's late I'll end it here. Stupid war.

Election Interference - 04/18/2024
Trump would like to be out campaigning, and instead he has been stuck in court all day every day this week for that ridiculous "hush money" court case, for which they have already selected 12 jurors. It usually takes much longer but given that it's nearly impossible for anyone to be completely fair and impartial, especially in Manhattan, NY, the potential jurors dropped very quickly. I don't want to spend much more time on this because the whole thing is ridiculous. Trump came out of the courtroom voicing his some of his frustrations. "I'm supposed to be in New Hampshire. I'm supposed to be in Georgia. I'm supposed to be in North Carolina and South Carolina. I'm supposed to be a hundred different places campaigning. But I'm here all day on a trial that really is a very unfair trial," he said. He held up several copies of news stories that sighted many legal scholars who declared what an unprecedented, unlawful, and immoral trial this is.
He spoke with disgust and anger in his voice as he thumbed through the thick stack of papers he held. "These are all stories over the last few days from legal experts, as is Wall Street Journal editorial. But all of these are stories from legal experts saying how this is not a case and the case is ridiculous, I see another one, the case is ridiculous. Trump indictment. It's missing fraud. There is no fraud." "Justice is on trial. You know, the whole world is watching this New York scandal trial." He called it a spectacle and went on to say, "The whole world is watching this hoax."
Opening statements will be heard on Monday, April 22nd, and gag-order violations will be addressed the following day, ridiculous! From what I read about the selected jurors, there's one that appears to have a good chance of voting not guilty, but I suppose you never know. Of course, it would take only one to make it a hung jury, which would be a big victory for Trump because this is such a bad case that it would more than likely be the end of it. Like I said a couple of days ago, this case should have never been brought. What a joke!
In spite of these sham trials, Trump continues to rise in the polls. It seems like bringing these cases against him makes him more popular. So, this election interference strategy of the left is backfiring so far, good! Trump is amazing. The more he's attacked, the stronger he gets.

What You Really Need to Know About Trump's Trial in New York But Were Afraid to Ask (e.g. Judge "Juan Moron!") - 04/16/2024
The trial began yesterday, not long after Trump made a $175 million bond payment for a victimless civil fraud lawsuit (also in NY) based on the false assumption that a billion-dollar estate is really only worth $18 million, and the bank was happy because they were paid back on time and made a lot of money. Now the Manhattan DA (Duh!), Twinkies (Alvin Bragg), is bringing 34 counts of bullstit (falsifying business records), stacked charges for alleged misdemeanor offenses (long expired from their statute of limitations) raised to unspecified felony counts (to falsely make mystery charges current) concerning hush money payments supposedly from campaign contribution money that Trump made to one of his then attorney's, fut-face-pants-on-fire Mikey Conman, (Michael Cohen who spent time in jail for lying in court) to then go to the porn star, horse-face (Stormy Daniells) for an alleged sexual affair with Trump that she's admitted to never happening in a letter signed by her. Twinkies said, “the indictment doesn’t specify it because the law does not so require.” Translation, "I hate Trump so much that I'm willing to break several laws and risk disbarment to keep him from running for president." You'll never guess who the persecutor's key witness is, fut-face-pants-on-fire! Jury selection was interesting, 50% of them were weeded out, not the leafy kind, for admitting that they can't be unbiased toward Trump. Duh! - Who can? So, half of the potential jurors were honest, probably the one's more likely to vote not guilty. The judge, Juan Moron (Juan Merchan), has impartially posted an image of Trump behind bars for his profile picture on X, impartially donated money to Shmoe Briben's (Joe Biden's) 2020 election campaign while his daughter has impartially, heavily profited from the afore mentioned civil trial in NY by running a democratic fund-raising company which raised millions of more dollars from donors who wanted to assist with support in getting Trump through that witch-hunt, banana republic real-estate sham trial with an unprecedented $450 million fine ($350 million plus court fees and interest but was reduced to $175 million on appeal), oh somebody please help me! - I can't take all of this impartiality. Does anyone really believe that Trump could possibly get a fair trial in Manhattan, NY on a case that clearly should never have been brought forward? That's about as likely as the existence of an honest porn star with integrity. Need I say more? This case is as ridiculous as having a corrupt, inept president of the United States who doesn't know where he is 90% of the time and who accepted bribes of millions of dollars from foreign adversaries while ordering the border wide open and who's destroying our economy from raising taxes too much in order to pay for "green" technology that doesn't really work for a climate crisis that doesn't exist. Oops! - That's what's happening now. Duh!!

A Two-Word Solution - 04/15/2024
I hate all this war stuff. I wasn't looking forward to writing this article, but it is something I must do. We find ourselves as a country in a precarious situation of teetering on the edge of being pulled into a major, global conflict. I gathered some information from Joshua Philipp's podcast on Epoch Times, Crossroads. He read the following from an article in the "Express" in UK, published at 10:12 (their local time) on Sunday, April 14, 2024, updated the same day at 12:06.
"The possibility of Iran ramping up its enrichment activities to acquire a nuclear weapon has sent shockwaves through the region and in the West."
"Iran has already vowed to launch a 'stronger' offensive against Israel's response to Saturday's attack."
"A new government-funded billboard in Palestine Square in Tehran was unveiled last night after Iran launched hundreds of drones, missiles, and rockets at Israel with Hebrew text."
"Senior Iranian figures have urged Supreme Leader Khamenei to reconsider the country's stance on nuclear weapons, with calls to cancel the existing fatwa against their assembly."
"The shift in rhetoric has led to speculation in the West about Iran's intentions and the Supreme Leader's willingness to entertain the idea of pursuing nuclear armament."
"Mahmoud-Reza Aghamir, a prominent nuclear physics professor with ties to the Iranian regime, further fueled suspicions by suggesting that 'it would be a lot easier to build a bomb than to keep holding so much enriched uranium at high levels.'"
"Iran's possession of 150 Kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent" (which is the threshold for Israel to send counter attacks against Iran.) "has raised alarms about the potential for weaponization."
"Israel is closely monitoring these developments, aware that any move towards nuclear capabilities by Iran could prompt a significant military response from the United States."
"The fear is that Iran could discretely advance its nuclear program, leaving intelligence agencies as the only means of detecting such activities."
Sounds pretty iffy to me, a lot of what they could do. Yet, I suppose Israel needs to error on the side of pre-empting any possible nuclear attack. After Iran sent over 200 missiles and drones toward Israel, Israel, the U.S., and other allies knocked down 99% of them, leaving very little damage and seriously injuring a 10 year-old girl. My heart and thoughts go out to her and her family, I hope she'll be okay.
On his podcast this morning, Joshua Philipp had stated that the United States policy of MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) is no longer in place. So, if a country uses a nuclear bomb on us or one of our major allies, then we would nuke them. When Russia threatened had threatened to possibly nuke Ukraine, the U.S. only threatened Russia with "economic and diplomatic harm." That's too weak of a response, in my opinion. So, if they use a nuke, we'll use a money-clip. Hell, we might as well use a paperclip.
I caught an informative article on Josh's show this morning which came from Time magazine back in November 2022, the headline reads:
"World Leaders Condemn Putin's War, Nuclear Threats Amid Pressure Campaign Against Russia"
"The U.S. and other world leaders issued a joint declaration Wednesday condemning Russia's War in Ukraine and denouncing threats of using nuclear weapons, an intimidation tactic that's become commonplace for Russian President Vladimir Putin since launching his invasion nine months ago."
"'The use or threat of use of nuclear weapons is inadmissible', read the statement, composed by the world's 20 largest economies. 'The peaceful resolution of conflicts, efforts to address crises, as well as diplomacy and dialogue, are vital. Today's era must not be of war.'"
"The 17-page document marks a victory for the Biden Administration and global allies, which sought to end this year's summit in Bali, Indonesia with a statement censuring Russia for its unprovoked military campaign in Ukraine. In recent weeks, the Biden team has launched a discreet, multi-pronged effort to pressure Moscow to dial back the increasingly reckless bluster that has sparked fears the world was nearing the brink of nuclear war."
"Through a series of one-on one discussions and back channels between top U.S. and Russian officials, combined with diplomatic maneuvering with other nations' leaders, the Administration has worked to get Putin and his government to stop threatening the use of nuclear weapons on the battlefield in Ukraine, where Moscow has faced mounting losses, this fall."
"In a rare disclosure on Monday, the White House revealed CIA Director William Burns met with his Russian counterpart Sergey Naryshkin in Ankara, Turkey's capital, to discuss potential costs to the Kremlin if it decides to use a nuclear weapon in the Ukraine conflict. 'He is not conducting negotiations of any kind,' a White House spokeswoman said. 'He is conveying a message on the consequences of the use of nuclear weapons by Russia, and the risks of escalation to strategic stability.'"
"The same day, President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping issued a joint-statement that said nuclear weapons should never be used, particularly in Ukraine. The rebuke was notworthy considering Beijing has tacitly approved of Putin's actions and shown reticence to join the international community's widespread condemnation of invasion."
"Read more: U.S. Unveils Strategy Threats from China and Russia."
"The message the U.S. seeks to send is clear: if Moscow goes nuclear in Ukraine, it will only experience further economic and diplomatic isolation on the world stage. There are indications that the strategy, which has gathered momentum behind the scenes since late September after Putin illegally annexed four occupied regions of Ukraine then suggested he'd defend the territory with nuclear arms, may be working. Putin back tracked late last month by stating Russia would gain nothing through launching a nuclear strike. 'We see no need for that,' he said October 27 at a conference of international foreign policy experts. 'There is no point in that, neither political nor military.'"
"Concerned observers are cautiously optimistic that the U.S. approach will continue to draw Putin away from the nuclear threshold, but they worry about the ongoing instability of relation between the world's foremost nuclear powers. 'The Biden team has been effective in cautioning Putin not to cross the nuclear line, warning of the consequences, and quietly encouraging others with influence like China to provide similar messages to Putin. They've done this very adeptly while avoiding provocations,' says Lynn Rusten, vice president at the Nuclear Threat Initiative and former senior official on arms control." In my opinion, I think this writer is being too kind to Briben (Biden). I really don't think he's effective in deterring Putin's aggression.
This next article just came out in the Epoch Times: "Israel Announces It Will Respond to Iran Missile Attack as Airlines Cancel Flights to Region." It begins with this: "Israel's miliary chief said on April 15 that Israel will respond to Iran's missile and drone attack, but it's not clear how or when."
"Herzi Halevi, head of the Israel Defense Forces, told reporters that Iran's strikes "will be met with a response" without elaborating. He spoke during a visit to the Nevatim air base, which Israel sayts suffered light damage in the Iranian attack.
“Iran wanted to harm the strategic capabilities of the State of Israel—that is something that had not happened before. We were prepared for the ‘Iron Shield’ operation—preparation that brought Iran to also meet air superiority,” he said. “Last Monday, we saw what was being organized, and we think that the State of Israel is very strong and knows how to deal with it alone, but with a threat so numerous and so far away, we are always happy to have [the United States] with us. Looking ahead, we are considering our steps, and this launch of so many missiles, cruise missiles, and UAVs into the territory of the State of Israel will be met with a response.”
"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been huddling with top officials to discuss a possible response to Iran’s attack involving hundreds of drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles."
"Iran’s attack on April 13 was the first time Tehran directly targeted Israel since the current regime took over in 1979. However, the country has been engaged in proxy attacks against both Israel and the United States originating from a number of Middle Eastern countries."
"On April 15, a number of airline companies canceled or delayed flights again after the Iranian missile and drone attack. United Airlines and Air Canada, notably, canceled some flights into Tel Aviv as well as flights into Jordan."
"Iranian officials said the attack was carried out in response to an Israeli airstrike on April 1 on a Syrian compound that left two Iranian generals and other officials dead."
"'Our response will be much larger than tonight’s military action if Israel retaliates against Iran,' armed forces chief of staff Maj. Gen. Mohammad Bagheri told state-run media in articles published on April 14. He claimed that Iran warned the United States through Switzerland that any support of an Israeli counterattack against Iran would lead to American assets being targeted."
"After the drones and missiles were launched, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard issued a direct warning to the United States through state-run IRNA that the 'U.S. government is warned any support or participation in harming Iran’s interests will be followed by decisive and regretting response by Iran’s armed forces.'"
U.S. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said this on April 15 on whether the U.S. will be briefed on any response plans of Israel: "We will let the Israelis speak to that. "We are not involved in their decision-making process about a potential response."
"The Iranian attack on April 13 was the first time that Iran has launched a direct military assault on Israel, despite decades of enmity dating back to the country’s 1979 Islamic Revolution. The attack happened less than two weeks after a suspected Israeli strike in Syria that killed two Iranian generals in an Iranian consular building."
"Israel’s military stated that its Arrow system, which shoots down ballistic missiles outside the atmosphere, handled most interceptions and noted that 'strategic partners' were involved."
"U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement that U.S. military forces 'intercepted dozens of missiles and UAVs en route to Israel, launched from Iran, Iraq, Syria and Yemen,' referring to a term used for unmanned aerial vehicles."
"'At my direction, to support the defense of Israel, the U.S. military moved aircraft and ballistic missile defense destroyers to the region over the course of the past week,' President Joe Biden said in a separate statement over the past weekend. “Thanks to these deployments and the extraordinary skill of our service members, we helped Israel take down nearly all of the incoming drones and missiles."
"Israel and Iran have been on a collision course throughout Israel’s six-month war against Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip after members of the group carried out a cross-border attack that left more than 1,200 civilians dead. More than 250 people were kidnapped during the Oct. 7, 2023, incident, according to officials. Israel’s government is still negotiating with Hamas for the release of the remaining hostages."
"The Associated Press contributed to this report."
With the weakness of the current appeaser-in-thief, Shmoe Briben (Joe Biden), this is absolutely the worst time for an imminent threat of a world war, let alone a nuclear one. I see this compromised-corrupt-oatmeal-for-brains-commie-ander-in-disbelief as not doing any affective deterrence, lying all the time and saying all the wrong things as he makes everything about himself on what a great job he's doing; all the while he's really been doing everything possible to cause this horrible situation which never would have happened under Donald Trump. Yes, most definitely he caused this dumb war by funding a major adversary of ours with billions of dollars which went directly to the terrorists who barbarically raped, tortured, and murdered so many innocent Israeli citizens; men, women, and children: brutally cutting out eyes, chopping off limbs, burning and beheading babies. Briben has a lot of blood on his hands which makes me both sickened and angry to the core. This kid-sniffing, corrupt bag of a rotting maggot, sub-human creature in the White House; wantonly funding such demon-savage, terrorist thugs is a heinous act driven by stupidity on steroids on a level of evil that falls perpetually deep into the infinite pits of darkness...
Yet, my hope is that I'm wrong in assuming that he'll not do enough of the right thing, and too much of the wrong thing to prevent a major global conflict. Realistically, I don't think it will come to that because Iran has to know that in spite of all the wokeness in our military at the top ranks, we would wipe them off the map in a direct war with them. I believe that China is waiting in the wings for us to get involved with at least a couple more wars while being hit with multiple, domestic terror attacks so that we'll be distracted and spread out thinly enough to give them a better chance at defeating us. We must make it to the election this November and get Trump re-elected. We must defeat Shmoe Briben, as Trump says, "get out of here, you're fired!" If we don't, we'll be seriously futticked! What a mess! Aside from the obvious, needed act of cutting off all the funding to Iran and their terrorist proxies, I have a simple, 2-word solution; stop fighting!

Identity & Function - 04/12/2024
Since not much is going on other than the usual, what would normally be shocking events but made relatively mild in these tumultuous times, I've decided to re-write my paper on the title's subject.
It’s obvious to me that what something is, is determined by what it actually is.  However, how it is identified can either accurately or inaccurately reflect the purpose of its existence, i.e., if it has a particular function, it should be in line with its identity.  Taking that into consideration begs the question, does identity determine function, or does function determine identity?  Take for example the purpose of a plyers is to establish a firm grip that would otherwise be impractical, and/or unsafe to just use your hands.  If you were to use a plyers to pound a nail, in that moment, would that make it hammer?  Of course not, but you could call it a hammer just as you could call anything, anything you want.  Or would turning a screw with a coin consequently make it a screwdriver?  In effect you have, yet that is not the integral purpose of a coin regardless of what you use it for.  It is intended as a means of material trade.  A cardboard box is typically used to contain material items, but you could break them down and build a makeshift shelter for a homeless person to live in.  Numerous examples of things being used for many different uses in endless creative ways can make it confusing to determine this identity and function dichotomy.  Examining each consideration separate from the other can help you to make a definitive determination.  Let’s say that function determines identity.  You could then say that a coin is a screwdriver when you use it as such, which would force you to ignore what it actually is within itself.  If you say that identity determines function, you could still use the coin as a screwdriver, but you would still call it what it actually is, a coin.  By that standard, breaking down cardboard boxes to build a shelter would lead you to conclude that you’ve effectively changed the identity by breaking them down as they would no longer be functioning as storage containers.  In the other standard, function as determining identity, they wouldn’t have a singular identity until you use them for either storage or for building a shelter.  It would seem to me to be less confusing to simply identify them as boxes regardless of what you use them for. Things are what they are in and of themselves and can function more properly when used for what they are intended, and even if something functions just as well for something outside the integrity of its identity, it still physically remains what it materially is regardless if it’s been modified or changed to the extent that it changes its identity.  Given that identity remains constant as what it is or what it becomes as still having identity, and that function is more fluid in that you can use almost anything for multiple purposes, then identity is predominantly foundational.  Therefore, identity determines function.

Trump on Abortion - 04/08/2024
Former president Donald Trump announced his stance on abortion. He posted a video on his platform, Truth Social, wherein he said, “My view is now that we have abortion where everyone wanted it from a legal standpoint, the states will determine by vote or legislation or perhaps both. And whatever they decide must be the law of the land. In this case, the law of the state.” He continued, “Many states will be different. Many will have a different number of weeks, or some will have more conservative than others, and that’s what they will be. At the end of the day, this is all about the will of the people.” He further stated to the Republicans, “You must follow your hearts on this issue, but remember, you must also win elections to restore our culture and in fact to save our country.” Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life, was disappointed by Trump's statements in his video post. She said, “Unborn children and their mothers deserve national protections and national advocacy from the brutality of the abortion industry. The Dobbs decision clearly allows both states and Congress to act.” That's in reference to the Dobbs v Jackson Women's Health Organization, in which Roe v Wade was overturned, thus no longer allowing access to abortion as a constitutional right, thereby returning abortion laws to each individual state. That's how it should be, in my opinion. I personally don't like abortion, and I can understand why many want the exceptions for pregnancies resulting from rape, incest, and the life of the mother, which is Trump's position. That sounds reasonable to me. Trump seems to also fall into the timeline of allowing abortion up to around 15 weeks from conception. Me personally, I think it should only be allowed with those afore mentioned exceptions, and at a time before the embryo has a heartbeat, which I believe is around 6 weeks. As far as I see it, once a heart starts beating the baby is a fully alive, precious human being and ending that life would be murder.

What is the Law? - 04/04/2024
This past year has been very big for SCOTUS (Supreme Court Of The United States). With Roe v Wade overturned, it simply means that laws concerning abortion are determined by the individual states, which is as it should be, in my opinion. Other big cases like Trump v Anderson which determined that no single state should be able to remove a candidate from a national election ballot, another good decision. Three major cases came in February this year; Garland v Cargill on restricting bump stocks, Cargill and Rahimi v United States on altering who owns guns and how they operate them, and NRA v Vullo on making it easier of more difficult for governments to apply pressure on individuals or companies who promote gun rights. Those 3 cases are yet to be determined. Another very important case is upcoming with oral arguments beginning April 25th on presidential immunity and how it would apply to what Trump did on January 6th, keeping in mind that he was never formally charged with insurrection, nor were any of the January 6 defendants who entered the capitol building, most of whom were escorted in by the capitol police. Even people who didn't enter the capitol are being arrested to this day. Crazy stuff.
When it comes to deciding matters of law, reason is the key to making the most proper choices. Of course, taking into account all the relative facts and foreseeable consequences to prospective scenarios, a clear understanding of the law together with how it applies to the subjects involved is essential to getting it right. The challenges from the complexities in certain cases should not be allowed to distract from the deeper meaning and long-term implications of applying new laws or modifications to existing laws. Although learning law may require a passionate approach with strict discipline, emotions need to be separate from settling the practical matters of law. I think Aristotle nailed it when he said, "Law is reason without passion."

Trump Gagged? No Way! - 04/03/2024
The New York supreme court judge Juan Merchan in Trump's "hush money" case has expanded on his earlier gag order which tried to restrict what Trump could publicly say about the case. The order came late yesterday which gags the former president from speaking in public about Manhattan D.A. Alvin Brag's family members and all others named including jurors, potential jurors, counsel, court staff, witnesses, and their families. The judge wrote, “This pattern of attacking family members of presiding jurists and attorneys assigned to his cases serves no legitimate purpose, it merely injects fear in those assigned or called to participate in the proceedings that not only they, but their family members as well, are ‘fair game,’ for Defendant’s vitriol.” He further wrote that courts are "understandably concerned" on restricting defendants' free speech, especially for those who are publicly notable. He further wrote, “The circumstances of the instant matter, however, are different. The conventional ‘David vs. Goliath’ roles are no longer in play as demonstrated by the singular power defendant’s words have on countless others.” In his ruling arguments he cited from the prosecution, “multiple potential witnesses have already raised grave concerns [...] about their own safety and that of their family members should they appear as witnesses against the defendant.” On those fears he wrote that they would "undoubtedly interfere" with the proceedings, and he continued. “The average observer, must now, after hearing defendant’s recent attacks, draw the conclusion that if they become involved in these proceedings, even tangentially, they should worry not only for themselves, but for their loved ones as well.” State prosecutor Matthew Colangelo wrote, “Defendant’s dangerous, violent, and reprehensible rhetoric fundamentally threatens the integrity of these proceedings and is intended to intimidate witnesses and trial participants alike—including this Court.” The state attorney's office was referencing Trump's remarks about the judge's daughter.
This judge, Juan Merchan, is compromised with a serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, and Trump's lawyers think he should recuse himself from the case because his daughter, Loren Merchan who owns a Democrat political consulting firm, heavily profited from her fundraisers dedicated to hurt and remove Trump from the political scene. The judge's wife, Lara Merchan, used to work for New York Attorney General Letitia James, who prosecuted Trump for a victimless crime of "over valuating" his property to get a more favorable loan, and to which he paid back fully with interest that made Duetsche Bank (no complaints) a lot of money. Another ridiculous, unconstitutionally brought case, which, like all the others, is nothing more than political persecution. Judge Juan Merchan's profile picture on X was of Donald Trump behind bars. I think it's fair to say that this judge is compromised, or as Trump would say, "by a lot!"
Of course, the mainstream media's talking point's echoe-chamber put out that Trump made threatening remarks about the judge's daughter, when in fact he did no such thing. One of his Truth Social posts reads, “Judge Juan Merchan, a very distinguished looking man, is nevertheless a true and certified Trump Hater who suffers from a very serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. In other words, he hates me! His daughter is a senior executive at a Super Liberal Democrat firm that works for Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff, the Democrat National Committee, Senate Majority PAC, and even Crooked Joe Biden.”
As I have said before, I think all of these cases against Trump should be dismissed and thrown out, as they are obviously political witch hunts directed by Biden's crooked administration and their weaponized justice department. So, Trump appropriately calls them the "Biden trials." The left thinks they can stop him from coming back to DC, and this judge thinks he can silence him, to keep him from pointing out all of the obvious corruption in that's clearly in plain sight for anyone with a functioning brain to see; --No Way! No Way! - will they ever silence or stop him, and No Way! - will they ever silence or stop us, we the people. Trump is right when he declares these trials as being "election interference," and that they should never, ever take place in the United States of America: abso-futting-lutely; -- No Way!

A Good Point Well Made - 03/29/2024
Today on the radio, Clay Travis made a good point about our history. In that in 1945 we had the power with the atomic bomb to take over the entire world. Instead, we liberated many countries in Europe by defeating the Nazis and both allowing and helping other countries to flourish or decline on their own terms. It was like a good example of forgiveness and redemption in a profound way. World War II was really a battle of good versus evil, and that's where we find ourselves today, in battles of good versus evil. Maybe these battles will always exist as long as us humans are walking the earth. Hopefully we can reach a point where they are more limited in number and scope. It shouldn't become too commonplace, but rather as few exceptions, the fewer the better, obviously. Another thing that Clay Travis mentioned were the young soldiers who parachuted down behind enemy lines some days before our boats stormed the beaches of Normandy. Imagine getting into a plane for the first time in your life and jumping out in the dark while being shot at. Those young men had the kind of courage that is difficult to even imagine, truly incredible. Clay was saying how disgusted he was with things like the 1619 project, how it distorts history and focuses on the bad aspects of it in order to define who we are as a nation. Is that how you want to be defined, by your worst traits? Our country has done more - good than any other country on earth in the advancement of civilization. I vote for defining us by our strengths, while not ignoring the bad. Yes, we must acknowledge all of our history, but we must give credit where credit is due. Our United States of America has really been the greatest of all countries ever on earth, hands down no bullstit! So, given with Easter being this Sunday, I guess it's appropriate to find redemption by acknowledging our pitfalls, while celebrating our strengths and successes. Although I don't believe that Jesus rose from the dead, let us rise above our sins of the past by learning from them, find some measure of forgiveness towards ourselves and others, and do our utmost best to boldly face the truth and make our lives better with common sense and decency.

Shine the Light of Truth - 03/28/2024
The New York Times (NY Slimes!) are covering up another genocide, describing the current one by the CCP in China of Wiegers and Falon Gong practitioners as "forced organ donations," an obvious contradiction, wherein they're not telling the truth about how the people are being imprisoned for only peacefully practicing their religion, and are having their organs cut out of their bodies while they are still alive. Those organs are then sold on the black market, making them millions or maybe even billions of dollars. It can't get any eviler than that. The other cover-ups were back in the 1940’s on Hitler’s torture and murder of more than 6 million jews. On Stalin’s seizure of property and farmlands in Ukraine forcing millions to starve, and the slaughter of over 30 million of his own people in concentration camps. On Mussolini’s gulags in Italy which tortured and killed 20+ million people. And on Mau’s concentration camps in China which may have killed as many as 70 million, and now it's widely believed to have surpassed 100 million. Evil beyond imagination. Will the human race ever grow-up by living with reason and fully realize that truth is real, and that all actions have immutable consequences? I’d like to think so, but it doesn’t seem likely within the remainder of my lifetime, I’m 62. Thank goodness for other news outlets like the Epoch Times, which is where I learned about this latest cover-up. Shinning the light of truth is essential toward stopping our ultimate demise, and freedom with responsibility is the key. To that end a very big day is approaching us this November 5th. Perhaps things will turn for the better next year, given that if Trump wins, which, in my opinion, would be a step in the right direction, and I strongly believe that will happen.

I Believe... 03/27/2024
I don't think you need to follow an established religion or believe in God in order to be a moral person. I'm an atheist who believes in good. I believe in freedom. I believe that love transcends all time and space. I believe that our rights come from truth and reason. I believe in spirituality, that our souls are eternal. I believe there exists an eternal energy field that is everywhere and is within everything; people, animals, plants, all matter and energy both living and non-living. Like the force in Star Wars. I just don't believe in a creator. Instead, my idea of God is the most fundamental aspect of truth, the smallest element in all of existence that is omnipresent. Like the most common denominator in math. I believe existence is eternal, without beginning or end. I believe in capitalism. I believe that good will always and ultimately win over evil. I believe in the U.S. Constitution and the good old U.S. of A. I worked hard all of my adult life, and outside of a D.W.I, I have never broken any major laws. I was arrested once for shoplifting a bottle of cheap vodka when I was an alcoholic, otherwise I never stole anything. I've never physically attacked anyone unprovoked, only in self-defense. I've never cheated on a girlfriend. I've always paid my taxes. I really believe I am a rational, good person. Although I do have a few bad habits and get on people's nerves with my silly, passive-aggressive behavior. I just don't believe that someone created the universe. I don't know, maybe "nothing" got bored and decided to become everything.

Reduced But Still Egregious - 03/25/2024
Trump's bond deadline approached today and was extended to 10 days from today, the bond's amount was reduced to $175 million. So, I guess you can call it a win for Trump, and I'm glad it was reduced because over $450 million would have taken all his available cash for his campaign. Fanni Willis remains on the "Trump can't bring into question suspicious voting results case," in Georgia; in spite of her illegal love affair with the prosecuting attorney that she hired and paid an exorbitant amount of money to, and part of which they used to go on lavish vacations together to places like the Caribbean. Trump was hoping to get the "Stormy Daniels" case in New York delayed, that didn't happen. He also tried delaying the classified documents case in Florida because they were given over 100,000 of new discovery only weeks before the trial date, of which Trump's lawyers have to go through; but again, the judge did not grant him his extension request. A couple of minor setbacks, but Trump will win on appeal in all these cases, even if all of them wind up in the Supreme Court. It's more than obvious to me that all of these court cases against Trump are part of a coordinated effort from the Biden administration and the left-wing media to hurt him, to destroy him, to bankrupt him, to do anything they can to keep him from winning back the presidency; even it is illegal or unconstitutional, and immoral, which I believe all of them are. I think the bond should've been reduced to $0.00: all of these cases should be thrown out, -- period!

Interesting Synchronicity - 03/22/2024
Ivermectin has been shown to help fight cancer, especially when used in conjunction with chemotherapy, an article in the Epoch Times (ET) reported this morning. Another article appeared in ET on the FDA stating that they will remove their posts on social media and web pages that tell people to stop taking ivermectin to treat Covid-19. And then later again today, ET reported that Kate Middleton, the princess of Wales, came out and spoke publicly about her cancer and the chemotherapy treatments. I hope she tries ivermectin, it can't hurt. I find it interesting that these stories come out on the same day. Sometimes I notice that my choice of words on these posts I make as well as the texts I send out to my contacts when I think of a thoughtful expression, that my wording seems to get repeated by the talking heads in the media. I find this to be interesting. Does it mean anything or signify something of major importance? I don't know, it might. Even as an atheist I don't believe in consequences, but I also don't believe in a collective consciousness to the extent that each and every individual is personally responsible for the choices they make, regardless of the degree of societal influence. Yet at the same time it wouldn't be wise for me to ignore the possibility that there may be a connection of shared energy that would in part explain these types of synchronizations. It reminds of other questions I've pondered. Such as, is life only what it is or what you make of it? Is all of what happens pre-determined, or do we have free will? Should Joe Biden drop from the race because he's too incompetent to even stand trial let alone run the country, or should he drop out because he's guilty of influence peddling with foreign adversaries? Forrest Gump may have been on to something with what he said at the end of the movie regarding destiny; "maybe both is happening at the same time."
