do you know any good free 3D character programs? Like when I need to set up a character so I can redraw it later (pose ref etc). Sorry if it's mess, I don't know how to describe it

I'd recommend using one of these apps and screenshotting!

Ik you asked for 3D program, but ifyou want to go analog, I've also used action figures before and that's helpful. Or even pipe cleaner models I made myself and took pics lmao

*DesignDoll is another pretty good one (the free version comes with hand posing, altering body proportions and perspectives, finger posing, and you can mess around with lights!)

Also consider:

Blender - kinda high learning curve, but if you download a model and then use it as a reference, can do a lot of cool stuff with the lighting

I wanna try doing a Radioapple drawing session with other people who might be interested. Just one of those open ones for funsies and will be mostly focusing on fluff as that's my thing and I wanna meet this new community I'm in. But I don't know how. Do I need an app for this? It's unfortunate if it's because I have to pay something, but after my Finals week, I really wanna reward myself by drawing happy "shippy" stuff with you guys! ☺️ If it's at all possible, can someone tell me how? It would be greatly appreciated! 🙏 And maybe I'll even see if we can do this with those sweet Radioapple shippers on Twitter too! (And yes. I REFUSE to call it "X" or whatever.) HELP A STRUGGLING ARTIST OUT?

Hey! I'm Riven and I'm the artist. I suffer from chronic pain and seizures; I have an MRI scheduled in March to confirm my doc's suspicion of Multiple Sclerosis. I'm trying to make 2024 the year I finally have a place to consistently work and a place to be able to open an online store, and have an income! There are full details on the campaign page, but long story short: We bought a house with an outbuilding/large shed with electric that would be PERFECT for a studio! But, lo and behold, the electric is tied to a building we don't own!! So now we have to get it switched so that the electric comes from our house. I make soy candles, stickers, art prints, etc. I haven't been able to make them in ages, but if my shed/studio gets to work order, I could make and sell them! You can see pictures of what I've made before and plan to sell in the future beneath the cut!
