I shouldn't loose my mind over every tiny gay breadcrumb Marvel gracefully grants me like it's not the freaking bare minimum in the 21st century... only to queerbait me anyways.

But dammit the Marvels was everything and made my little sapphic heart scream from joy.

Imani Lewis-(First Kill deserved better than being cancelled after one season. Let her do more horror and supernatural themed

Leah Jeffries-(Deserves all the support especially once the Percy Jackson series comes out)

There is tension brewing in the right wing of science department. The rumours talk of Professor Stark being ridiculously reckless about his experiments again. But that's just hot air. MJ knows this. He's a meticulous person when it comes to them blowing things up in the lab. And a little too wire brained about his students' safety. He walks barefoot when working with heavy equipment. But he sent Harley to detention for handling glass tubes without his safety gloves.

It's a part of the package of Professor Stark's "science bros" experience and the few select of them have wholeheartedly committed themselves to it.

Well, there's also the other thing they've committed themselves to. And it must be why half the school is talking about the return of hot firemen trio.

"I hear the blond one is married to coach Carter?"

"Miss Sharon? Eugh! Aren't they like— related?"

"No! For the last time, Kate, they just look similar!"

"Still, ew. I heard he used to have hots for our principal."

"Okay, I did not know about that."

Foolish children, MJ snorts and opens the group chat.

"Who was it this time?"

Peter's reply is quick. She will forever be jealous of his ability to type without even looking at the screen. It is insanely unfair.

"Gwen."

MJ grins and ducks behind her book to avoid the questioning looks from her study group. But Kamala and Kate are too busy comparing the merits of Coach Sharon and Mister Blond Fireman. And Yelena is just snoring on the table with her hand stuck inside Kate's hoody.

Amateurs. Also, weirdoes.

"Miles says it was his turn though," Peter sends again, followed closely by Miles' ", IT WAS 😫".

Gwen just flips them all the bird, and then goes offline. To either plead for her innocence or keep a close eye on their job.

Nearly half an hour later, she sends them all a picture.

In it Professor Stark is standing with his arms crossed, looking smug about something. While the hot, blond fireman is adorably flushed and a little bit embarrassed.

"He bet that Tony couldn't state even one fire safety rule," she adds below the picture. Then adds a little smug grin and ", he listed ten".

"I call enemies to lovers."

Everyone sends Pav the side eye and MJ almost hits enter on "why do we need to put a genre on their romance" before deleting the entire sentence. She doesn't need a redo of Banner-Odinson drama in the group. Nobody does.

"Guys guys," Miles suddenly adds and MJ's eyes grow wide reading the next text.

"Sarge just tried to flirt with Tony and guess who got jealous," Hobie adds and—oh no.

"Hobie!!!!"

"Too slow, sorry 😎" Then he signs off on them.

"Wait," MJ asks, just to give Miles another chance. "Which one's Sarge?"

Miles sends a picture. In it, a beefy, long haired brunette is slouching next to Tony, a smarmy smile on his face while the hot blond is stoically staring at the wall.

"Isn't he the guy who's shacking up with our councellor?"

"Yep," Miles adds then. "🤔 Maybe he's inviting Tony for a three way?"

"Like a poly thingy," Pav asks and MJ can almost smell the incoming barrage of texts from him.

"Omg, guys 🫢

That would be so cute though! 💖

Professor would be like the small, adorable filling in their sandwich!"

"Erm."

"What even????"

"Pav, no."

"But what about Steve?"

"Wait..."

And then they all ask, simultaneously, because her friends are all idiots.

"Who's Steve?"

One Step Closer by scottxlogan (E) Tony Stark was pushed into popstar fame by his ambitious father early on, but over the span of more than two decades Tony has seen the highs and lows of stardom hitting rock bottom in more ways than one. Through it all there was always one person that Tony felt was his saving grace. Steve Rogers was always the one that got away and no matter how many times they tried to cross that line into love they couldn't quite get there. As Tony's once close friend and brief roommate, Steve turned Tony's world around in all the right ways until fate intervened and they were pulled in separate directions. Now fresh out of rehab on his 45th birthday and looking to keep from making the same mistakes, Tony reflects on his past and follows his heart to new beginnings hoping that it's not too late to find his way back to Steve in his hopes for a second chance. -I love that this Tony is closer to his canon age. It's a look at the pop star life from the other side once you're not the shiniest, brightest thing on the block anymore. The smut is great, the romance is lovely, and the ending is delightful ❤️

Baby, Just Say Yes by betheflame (M) In a world where Tony's life looks a lot like Taylor Swift's, Steve realizes there always more to omegas than meets the eye. -Everything flame writes is always amazing, even the things I never in a million years thought I would like, but this is just so lovely. It's soft and sweet, and I love the take on second gender dynamics that flame explores 💛

at his side by areiton (M) He meets Steve on a Sunday, wearing his old Eagles jersey and shorts so short his Mama fusses at him, and he grins, tousled curls and a devil may care grin, bare-faced and bare foot. “Hi,” he says, and then, like an introduction is necessary, like the whole world isn’t learning his name, he adds, “I’m Tony.” -I love bodyguard AUs so much, and arei absolutely delivers with this one. Top-notch pining, great use of the non-linear narrative (which arei is always fantastic at, in my opinion), and I love how the eras were changed to fit this story 💙

This Life is Sweeter Than Fiction (series) A series of interconnected fics, following Tony Stark from his time as a country singer to the world's biggest pop star. Loosely inspired by Taylor Swift. -I feel weird hyping up my own fics, but if you're willing to follow me as I explore multiple relationships, second gender dynamics, and reinterpret the fandom's hatred for Tony after Civil War through the lens of the Reputation era, I feel like you'd really like this series. Like I said, I'm almost done writing the Fearless era, so that'll be coming in the next few weeks 💚

False God (E) The first time Steve meets him, Gillian has all sixteen dancers sitting in a circle on the floor of the rehearsal studio, where she makes them go around the room and introduce themselves. Tony is the youngest of them at nineteen, has two cats currently in his sister’s custody, and got his start in ballet before being so inspired by the 1989 tour that he cross trained just in the hopes that one day he could dance with Sharon. Steve had made a note of it in the way that he makes a note of everyone he works with, felt a little old because he had been a dancer on the 1989 tour and now this baby is saying he was inspired by them, and then gotten distracted by the next girl. -In which neither of them is the pop star! They're backup dancers for pop star Sharon instead, which I think is very fun of me 🩷

When Emma Falls in Love (G) “Nice?” Kamala exclaims. “It’s way past nice! It’s the cutest thing ever because his bracelet had his phone number on it! He was hoping to ask you out!” Tony blinks. Steve Rogers, All-American good boy and quarterback extraordinaire, wants to throw his hat in the ring? He wouldn’t be the first person to toss his name out there, but most of them have just tried to DM him or tag him in their posts. No one’s shown the kind of thought and effort that Steve apparently put into his declaration. It’s a level of understanding and appreciation of who Tony is and everything he’s cultivated in his career that no one else has put in. It is, to use Kamala’s word, cute. -In your life, you'll do things greater than dating the boy on the football team... or maybe not? Anyway, this is just a very fluffy romance with instantly smitten Steve and Tony 💜

Glitch (T) “Ms. Potts, my name is Steve Rogers, and I’m Justin Hammer’s roommate," Steve says. “Oh, what does that asshole want now?” she asks. “I don’t think he wants anything—except to make a quick buck and ruin Mr. Stark’s reputation.” -This is a pop star AU in the loosest definition of the word. Tony is a pop star but he doesn't get to do anything pop starry things in this AU. It's mostly about Steve, but if you like throwing popcorn at the screen whenever Justin Hammer shows up, people getting their comeuppance, and Steve being the standup guy he is, then this is the fic for you 🖤

Death by a Thousand Cuts (T) “Tony?” Pepper asks, and he can tell just by the look on her face that whatever she has to tell him, it isn’t good. “What?” he asks. She looks uncharacteristically hesitant. Pepper isn’t supposed to be hesitant. She’s supposed to be barge-in, guns-blazing, unapologetically confident. “The news leaked,” she says eventually. -One of my favorite tropes, breaking up and making up! Idk I just really like writing stories where neither of them did anything wrong, they just couldn't work things out in those circumstances, but turns out being apart is even worse 🩶

Kissed by a Muse (E) Two years ago, Bucky returned home from the war, disillusioned, injured, and angry. Two months ago, he started working at Rogers Records, recording other bands when all he wants is for his band to be the one performing. Two minutes ago, he ran into a mysterious stranger at the grocery store who argued with him over the last box of Eggos, kissed him, and ran off with the waffles. And now he can't stop thinking about him. Bucky sees him everywhere: on the album cover he's recording, walking by his sound booth. And then, as he's staying late at work one night, he hears someone singing down the hall. But that can't be right - because that's his song, one that he's never performed for anyone. He isn't really surprised though to find that it's the stranger who kissed him in the grocery store that night. Only someone who can seemingly appear and disappear like this stranger can could possibly be singing a song he's never sung for anyone. The stranger offers him a chance: a chance to get his life back on track, to perform for the owner of the biggest record company in the world, a chance to get his band back and make it big. With an offer like that, how could Bucky refuse? -If you're familiar with the 1980s film Xanadu with Olivia Newton John, Gene Kelly, and that guy from The Warriors, this is that but with Bucky and Tony being, well, Bucky and Tony 🤎

Random little things I loved in The Marvels.

might make a longer list when I rewatch it. spoilers, of course.

and you'll notice most of these are about Carol because she's openly my MCU favorite character

also, it's completely out of order.

all of Carol's little childish moments. really, her little angry fit when she falls face first on the table is adorable. and in the training montage when she jumps? the way Monica sits up because Carol's a little shit made me laugh a little too loudly.

the amount of times it broke my heart. Carol and her adorable little sad face.

Kamala's reaction of hugging Monica, and inviting Carol, after the memory thing, she's so precious.

I knew that we'd have a flashback, but I wasn't ready to have my heart broken with something that short. four times, MCU, you already broke my heart with Maria four times.

just until Monica comes back. my heart.

(might be just my interpretation, but I enjoy the idea that Carol cut her hair because of Maria)

we had a little more of little!Monica.

because of angst potential: Carol still struggles with her memories.

Kamala's mission to give Monica a superhero name.

oh captain my captain

all of them had their time to shine, but I liked that it still a lot about Carol. the whole issue came from a mistake she made. a very understandable one, it felt more like revenge than anything else. the kree abducted her, probably experimented on her at some extension, and brainwashed her. they manipulated to participate in a genocide. she has every right to be angry. it kinda reinforces that she's a character that keeps commiting mistakes, falling and getting up again.

I don't think Dar-Benn is the worst villain. someone destroyed her planet, she wants to fix it, good thing she can hurt that person in the process. Oh, and she absolutely won.

Marvel Women Hug Headcanons

Natasha Romanoff - Definitely an 11/10 hug. It’s warm and loving and holds all the reassurance in the world. She’s one of those people that when she hugs someone, everything just feels like it’s going to be okay. She has a very safe-feeling hug and even though she’s small compared to most people she knows, she has that effect regardless of who it is. Yelena is the one most often getting comfort from her, so she gets to feel this all of the time, but Kate gets her fair share also with Carol following. She always has this slight aroma following her around that is distinctly vanilla, and her hugs are honestly quite addicting in every sense.

Yelena Belova - Absolutely an amazing hug for the very, very tiny and miniscule list of people who actually are allowed to experience it. She does not really give one of her real hugs to anyone except Natasha, Carol, and Peter, and even Peter is a rarity. Natasha always gets to experience that tight, giant hug and that somewhat bratty yet extremely endearing demand for physical affection that Yelena has. Yelena will grab Natasha as tightly as she can, all of the fierce emotion and love that is within her just oozing from every fiber of her being as she embraces Natasha. She’s a huge fan of just squeezing as long as she can and as long as Natasha will let her, and Natasha will usually have to literally pry her off so that they both can actually get stuff done during the day. Needless to say, Yelena’s hugs are as passionate as she is, and Natasha is the only one that gets to feel the full extent of that boundless adoration.

Kate Bishop - Is a little awkward with it but the feeling behind it is genuine and pure and makes it worth it in all the best ways. She’s actually very touch-starved, and she loves hugging those that she cares about most. Since she is taller than most of her female friends, she sort of just drapes herself over them in a hug. She loves receiving hugs but initiating them is sometimes a bit difficult for her because she’s unsure of herself and worries she’s pushing too far. She usually reserves self-initiated hugs for Natasha since she is most confident around Natasha. However, she sometimes initiates with Clint.

Carol Danvers - Undoubtedly is a big hug kind of person. She just grabs people in her arms and since she’s usually taller than most of her female friends similarly to Kate, she just reaches around them and just sort of swallows them with her arms. She might even light up a little to add some warmth to the hug if the person in her arms is cold. The only times she usually does this, though, is when she’s particularly close with the person, and that is usually reserved for Natasha. She’s gotten to where she will do it with Yelena as well since Yelena has become more receptive to hugs from her since they’ve gotten closer over time.

Darcy Lewis - Might be a good hug if it lasted a little longer. She’s a brief hugger and fairly casual about it. She’s never been overly touchy, and actually is slightly uncomfortable with hugs lasting much longer than ten seconds. However, if someone is in need of comfort, she’ll make an effort to stick with it. She’s a sweetheart and if any of her friends need a hug, she’s there for them. She has no issue initiating, and the only reason that she is a little uncomfortable with long hugs is because she does not exactly know what to do after an extended period of time. She doesn’t know if or when the person is uncomfortable and when they’ll want her to let go. It’s a big confusion for her and she kind of feels like she’s just standing there doing nothing.

Kamala Khan - Sweet, wholesome, cinnamon roll, baby girl hug. It’s adorable and it’s all the good things. She usually hugs people out of excitement, but the best part about her hugs is that they usually radiate the energy needed in or the energy already within the moment. If it’s a sad time and Kamala offers a hug, it’s a comforting thing, and in happy times, it’s a hug that if she had a tail, it would be wagging at least ninety miles per hour. With every hug, she pours her heart and soul into it, and the people outside of her immediate family that receive the Kamala Hug™ are usually her besties Nakia and Bruno but sometimes Carol if Kamala gets the confidence to pull it out on her.

Valkyrie|Brunnhilde - Doesn’t do a lot of hugging, but when she does, it’s usually unexpected and in the heat of whatever emotion she’s experiencing. Thor is almost always the recipient of these hugs, and oftentimes, she’ll hug him in the excitement of victory. If she is close to breaking down and he somehow miraculously manages to be in the room when she purposefully tries to self-isolate to keep people from seeing the weakness, she’ll spring a big “I need some love” hug on him. He is always more than happy to oblige, and it makes her love him even more.

Melina Vostokoff - Extremely stiff and strained. She does not know how to hug too well since she went for years with minimal affection. Also, all of the Red Room conditioning has deeply impacted her. However, she wants to be able to hug Natasha and Yelena. Most of her problems hugging them stem from guilt, but there is also the fact that she does not exactly know how to communicate her love in a manner that would be considered normal. Regardless, she does her best, and Natasha is strangely somehow more willing to hug her than even Yelena is. While Yelena is not at all against it, Natasha is in some odd manner more desperately in need of it. She supposes it’s likely due to the fact that Yelena has a mother-esque sort of figure in her life in the form of her big sister, but Natasha has no mother figure and needs someone to fill that place. Melina will forever be there to make up for lost time.

Monica Rambeau - Hardly ever hugs anyone of her own accord but when she does, it is when someone has truly earned it or when she is desperately in need of some sort of comfort. The only person that she’ll willingly do this with is Carol, but that is sometimes a hard thing for her to do only because their history has been so rocky due to Carol’s absence for such a long time in her life. She was very open with her mother and hugged her a lot just-because until she passed away. However, she is getting to where she can do this with Carol more easily. Her hugs always smell of her perfume and they’re usually quite squishy because Monica really likes wearing well-insulated clothes like sweaters. Her embraces are also usually swift in their arrival and they last for a while. She’s going to make the most out of her occasional hugs, and when Carol finds this out, she insists on hugging her niece more often of her own accord to try to ensure Monica has the affection she needs.

Jennifer Walters - Depends on if she’s giving a hug in her own form or in the She-Hulk form. In her own, she’s like a smol bean and to most people, it’s like hugging a child. In her She-Hulk form, it’s a big, engulfing hug and she has a tendency to pick people up in them. They also are sometimes crushing because she does not always know her own strength since she has only recently started living in this form. However, if the person she’s hugging is all about pressure and bear-hugs, she’s the one to go to for a hug. She’s very heartfelt about it, and it’s undoubtedly one of the most kind-spirited hugs. That is, when she’s not hugging a guy that she’s crushing on. It might have a little more deep intentions then and might have a bit more feeling-up in it.

Shuri - Has a definitively bony sort of hug. Shuri is a very tall and lanky person, and her hugs reflect that thinness. However, they’re very sweet, calm hugs that offer a surprising gentleness considering Shuri’s sarcastic, playful personality. They are filled with feeling, and they immediately have the vibe that everything is going to be alright or that things are not that bad. She has a tendency to smell like the outdoors and the smell that clothes have when baked in the sun. It’s heavenly and it significantly helps in the calming aura that she somehow naturally seems to have. Her hugs are unfortunately never as long as one would want them to be, but if she knows that someone needs a long one, she’ll stick around without a word of complaint despite long ones not being her natural instinct.

So it’s official, i hit 2.5k i think sometime last week (woohoo 🥳), i said it in my follower celebration last year that i never thought i’d get this amount of followers but i’m saying it again now, and knowing how long i’ve been on this site (10 long damn yrs on and off) some of those followers are probably inactive at this point but yeah i just wanted to say thanks to everyone who follows me, interacts with me and loves the gifs i create as it motivates me to want to create more and learn more (even when i get annoyed about how bad the like/reblog ratio is nowadays haha)

Everytime I see you making comic recs I add like five new things to my to read list 😂 what're some of your fav comics, and which comics do you think are underated???? 💖

I've been re-reading a lot of non-batfam comics lately, specifically with other Titans and Young Justice members.

I think Bart Allen's Flash run (Fastest Man Alive) is underrated in a couple aspects. First, we get to see Bart as something other than Young Justice's hyperactive teenager—here he's a young adult who's a little more jaded but still has heart. Second, I think it gives Bart the spotlight in death as well as in life (even though he comes back later because comics). One thing I never was a fan of in both Young Justice canon and fanon is how Bart's death is completely brushed aside in favor of focusing on Kon. I think that's a consequence of decades of him being relegated to Tim and Kon's tagalong. I highly suggest Fastest Man Alive and the 90s Impulse run because Bart is a fascinating character and an underrated member of the Flash Family.

This isn't DC, but I've also been revisiting America Chavez and Kamala Khan's comics with the new movie/show. I think G. Willow Wilson's origin of Ms. Marvel and Kalinda Vasquez's Made In The USA are great ways to introduce yourself to the characters if you're meeting them for the first time through the MCU. Both comics are fun and highlight the core of Kamala and America's personalities. I especially love the artwork in Ms. Marvel because it's not your typical hard outlines and bold colors—there's a softness to it even in intense scenes that lends well to Kamala and the world she is living in. And in Made In The USA, you get the highlights of America's relationship with Kate Bishop through the turns of dialogue and subtle actions.

Why Commission Me For My Work?

➳ When commissioning me for a fic it becomes my top priority for writing, alone with any other commissioned fics.

➳ I will spend more time on commissions making sure the quality is worth commission while also, by absolute magic I swear, getting it to you faster than regular requests.

➳ It would also help out your local Amatur Author, aka me, while I try to save for college.

Types Of Commissions I’ll Be Doing:

➳ Character x Reader Fics.

➳ Character x Character Fics.

➳ “Open When” Type Fics.

➳ Continuation of any series or one shots I've already written for.

➳ The “Open When” fics are going to be letters from a character of your choice to you on a specific time that you request.

➳ Examples of the “Open When” fics:

➳ From Natasha, open when you can’t sleep.

➳ From Wanda, open when you feel sick.

➳ From Kate, open when you need motivation.

Prices For Commissions:

➳ I chose these prices for my commissions because I want them to be affordable for everyone who may want them, while also being able to benefit from them.

➳ Prices for basic fics:

➳ 100 - 900 words - 3 euro

➳ 1,000 words - 5 euro

➳ 1,500 words - 7 euro

➳ 2,000 words - 10 euro

➳ 2,500 words - 12 euro

➳ 3,000 words - 15 euro

➳ 3,500 words - 20 euro

➳ Anything over 3,500 words will have to be discussed privately depending on the length of the fic requested.
