♡To start off, each of the turtles would do a little of everything to make sure you are comfortable when you are overstimulated, and would never push boundaries you are uncomfortable with, and would do their best to get you whatever you needed. They also sense whenever you are getting overstimulated better than anyone else does, and are always there to help give you a ‘way out’ of overstimulation situations, and if you can’t leave them then comfort you through them. This can be either with a little thing for you to shift your focus on, or holding your hand for you to squeeze through the whole thing. Either way, all of the turtles (And April or Casey if you like) would have your back during and after the situation.

That being said, here are some headcanons I think the turtles would do for you while overstimulated or overwhelmed, after the events that caused it.

♡Mikey would be by your side the entire time, whether that be just sitting next to you if you need him, or cuddling and holding you if you need physical affection or compression. He is also understanding if you don’t want to be touched, but would still be nearby/ next to you in case you needed anything.

He would make sure that you’ve eaten something right away, and if you haven’t he would make sure you something. He also always seems to know if you are lying about eating food to avoid eating, and makes sure you eat to get a little something in you anyways. He would make you your favorite foods, or something that sounds good to you.

Mikey would also offer for you to engage in your favorite or stress relieving hobbies, watching your favorite movies, and doing your favorite things to help you calm down or cool off.

If you were to the point of having a breakdown, he would hug you through the whole thing, talking to you, holding you, rubbing your back until you calmed down.

Overall Mikey is completely understanding about everything, and is ready to make anything happen for you.♡

♡Leo is one to try and cheer you up. Funny movies, jokes, games (not any games with loud noises or flashing lights) anything to make you happier.

Leo is also a big cuddler. He could cuddle you, hug you, turn you into a blanket burrito, anything to make you feel compression if you need it. Heck, he would be a big-ol blanket for you if you wanted. And if you don’t want to be touched, he would make sure you are comfortable where you are at, and leave you be, but still be with you near or next to you.

Leo would always do little things to comfort you, hands through your hair, back rubs, physical affection (kisses, hugs, cuddles), anything to make you happy.

If you were to the point of breakdown, Leo would talk you through the whole thing. He’s had his fair share of breakdowns, and he knows how to comfort you. He holds your hands, hugs you, holds you, and talks you through the whole thing. Counting method is his go-to in helping to calm you down. If you can talk, he’ll have you tell him what you're feeling, and if you can’t he’ll do the talking for you. He knows that sometimes breakdowns just happen, and trying to stop them will only make it worse.

All that Leo really wants is to make you comfortable and happy.

♡Donnie knows exactly what it’s like to be overwhelmed and/or overstimulated. He deals with that himself, and as much as he helps you out in those situations, you are helping him too… Chances are pretty good that if you are overwhelmed, so is he. Despite this though, he always makes sure you are comfortable first, even if that puts his overstimulation and comfort at odds.

Donnie isn’t big on touch, but he would give it to you in a heartbeat if you wanted it. Cuddles, affection, anything you wanted he would give it to you. Even though he isn’t the best with touch, he still loves it when you lay on him, giving him that compression.

He would also be one to make sure you’ve eaten/drank.

Donnie makes sure that your surroundings are calm, and that you are comfortable when it comes to textures of your pjs and blankets. He also makes sure everything is quiet if you need silence.

Donnie has a little bit of a hard time not breaking down when you break down. You two are very similar when it comes to why you break down, so when you start, it takes everything for him not to start. He absolutely refuses to break down and not be there for you though, so he is strong for you. He rubs your back, tries to talk to you, and does whatever you need to help you through it. He does whatever you need him to do, and is always there for you. He’ll hum for you, speak quietly to you, anything to sooth the thoughts going through your head. Even with this, he is the quietest when it comes to comforting you.

Donnie is always there for you when you need him, and makes sure of it.

♡Raph’s main goal is comfort. He always makes sure you are comfortable, picking you up and carrying you like a baby to the bed where he tucks you in like a burrito. If you need sleep, he makes sure you are comfortable and lets you sleep, asking if you want him there or not.

Raph is a cinnamon roll, and he feels so bad when you are overwhelmed, and does everything in his power to make you better.

He's helped Donnie through enough overstimulation moments to know how to find out what you need, and how to help you through it to prevent a possible breakdown.

And if you do break down, he is holding you the entire time, rocking you back and forth until you calm down. He stays like that long after, too, usually until you fall asleep or ask to be put down.

Raph has helped his siblings so much through the years, that he knows how to help you when you break down. He holds you, gives you the compression that you need (if you need it) and whispers to you. He doesn’t pressure you into telling him what’s wrong, and says things more like “Raph’s here…” “Don’t worry about it anymore…” “Nothing is going to hurt you…”

Thank you for asking!! I’ll share a couple of my Outlast HCs that I haven’t shared before :) These will be for the games’ protagonists (including Lynn! I think her role in the Outlast universe is vital to many of the themes/narratives, so I always like to include her in conversations surrounding protagonists.)

Lynn & Blake:

Lynn and Blake love low-budget indie films and try to make some themselves. I imagine them using art/film/cinematography as a coping mechanism for their childhoods.

Blake shares art to evoke certain emotions while Lynn utilizes art to portray powerful messages. They have incredible creative synergy.

*RATM stands for Rage Against The Machine

I like to think Lynn would be into anarcho-punk, conscious rap, anti-war folk music, queer empowerment, anything that resonates with working class strife + discrimination in the U.S. (shoutout to the Rage Against the Machine reference in Outlast 2). Her music taste would rub off onto Blake.

I imagine Lynn and Miles sharing similar journalistic work ethics and attitudes about the U.S. They definitely have the drive to spark revolutions.

Waylon & Miles:

I feel like Waylon and Miles would jokingly insult each others’ music tastes. We know that Waylon’s a metal head and that he’s listened to Patsy Cline. As for Miles, I’m torn on whether his favorites are technical/experimental music or politically conscience music (or both!). He probably makes fun of pop and then finds himself having guilty pleasures within that genre lol

Waylon is subscribed to Miles’ articles/newsletters. Despite the Park family’s financial struggles, Waylon always finds a way to be a patron towards Miles’ journalistic work.

Like many Berkeley students, I feel like Waylon was radicalized during his college experience and has a love/hate relationship with computer science and technology. He supported the student-ran newspaper (known as the Daily Cal) and protested against the university’s gentrification. Oh, and he definitely smoked weed on 4/20.

Hii, so i haven’t read your fics yet but i started following you a while ago because i m obsessed with the Black family and your name always pops up with the best takes on these characters and i generally really vibe with your hcs and opinions. So i’m curious what you think about this: i’ve come across this hc that as a child Regulus was envious of Sirius’s social grace and charisma. And i was a little surpised because i realized i’ve always hc-d the exact opposite without really putting it into words. Sirius strikes me as a person who doesn’t really care to conduct himself in a socially acceptable manner, he doesn’t seek to impress people, and he generally seems to be rather unpleasant to be around unless you’re someone he cares about deeply (James and Lily and Harry and pretty much that’s that). And with Regulus being “the better son” and a Slytherin, and Kreacher liking him, and there being and express parallel between him and Percy Weasley through their pompous handwriting, i have always kind of automatically assumed that Regulus was a total kiss-ass, someone who enjoyed schmoozing, a smooth talker etc. And Sirius in Ootp is so obviously not over those “Regulus is a better son” comments that i’ve always assumed he was a little envious of Regulus’s ability to be so poised, level-headed and charming in every situation. While Sirius is definitely quick-witted, he has such a mean streak and strikes me as a highly emotional being. So most of the time he would pretend he doesn’t care what people think of him because hes a Rebel🤟 and then occassionally he would get all mopey about people having a problem with him. Okay sorry, this is so long 😅 I’d be thrilled to hear your thoughts, whether you agree or disagree ! :)

Honestly, it goes both ways in my opinion. I feel like this isn't a situation uncommon to many siblings; each believing the other is better than they or more valued by their parents for the traits they themselves do not possess. Sirius is indeed charismatic and naturally confident and sure of himself, but although these are traits he is not ashamed of, they do not gel well with his personal disagreements with their family's ways and values. Regulus may wish he were as confident and outgoing as his brother, but all Sirius can focus on is the fact that his inability to sit by quietly and accept things he disagrees with earns him nothing but trouble from his parents.

Whereas Regulus is naturally quiet and agreeable, combined with the fact that he does not share Sirius's dislike for their family's ways. Sirius may interpret this as something to be envied, in that he is constantly told he ought to be more like Regulus in this sense. But to do so would go against everything he believes in. Sirius could never just sit by quietly in the face of something he disagrees with. But Regulus's ability to means that he receives far less attention from their parents, negative or otherwise. They're too busy trying to correct Sirius.

As is so often the case between any two people, each envies what they perceive the other as having. Sirius would never wish to be as meek and quiet as Regulus, but he does perceive their parents as favouring him because they so rarely have to tell him off, compared to himself. And Regulus may wish that he had some of his brother's confidence, but considering he agrees with the values of the world in which he was raised, he'd have little reason to use it. But at least he wouldn't be constantly ignored over his parents' favourite child - after all, why would they spend so much time and effort fighting to 'correct' Sirius if he weren't their favourite?

imma keep it real with you chief: nothing about Bart and Jaime's dynamic has ever read as romantic to me, on either side, but if Bart having a crush on Jaime (either present or past tense) isn't the main thing going on in your high school fic then i'll for sure read it anyway because i like your stuff a lot :) (also the fact it's apparently on the darker side despite being a no powers AU has me intrigued. murder mystery or something?? interested to find out)

and i totally understand that! just like how characterisation can ultimately be up to interpretation it’s the same with relationships and i can’t say i don’t see where ur coming from, i think a lot of their S2 interactions has been occasionally misconstrued with romantic undertones when they very much could be interpreted as just not (for all sorts of reasons both super obvious as well as not)

infamous age gap at the time (being the obvious one) aside, a literal alien invasion and earth-dooming prophecy is practically a constant in the backdrop of their friendship, so there really is a lot to consider when interpreting their interactions (like multiple takes i’ve read about ppl finding bart incredibly underhanded (totally fair and agreed) in the friendship). I do think though that the genuine aspect of their friendship did rapidly develop early on in the season even with bart’s underhandedness, just like that rlly interesting ask/masterpost on kidcooper02 blog about their friendship outlined (great read btw highly reccomend if ppl haven’t yet lol), ultimately it comes down to their friendship not being as black and white/clear cut as people might like it to be.

Multiple things can be true at the same time. Jaime had been missing his best friend at the time, was somewhat of an outcast as a newcomer on the Team and was thrust into the world of heroes/villains, I think it’s understandable that he would latch on to a good friendship with Bart just as much as even with all his hidden intentions, Bart, essentially a fish out of temporal water, would too.

So whilst i HC bart having had a crush on jaime at some point, it’s not because i necessarily interpret their dynamic as romantic throughout the season(s), it’s more out of potential because of plot circumstances and characterisation where i just don’t think it would be far fetched for it to occur.

Sorry for the unasked for essay lol but i felt like it wouldn’t hurt to explain my thought process a bit because i’m sure others share the same perspective as u and i do think it’s an interesting topic to think about too in general. Bart is my favorite all time character but Jaime is very dear to me too so I just think it’s such a cool topic ultimately :)

IMPORTANT PORTRAYAL HEADCANON:   EDDIE MUNSON  &  DUSTIN HENDERSON.

I haven’t done one of these in a while, and it will be available on my pinned post with all the other important hcs to my particular portrayal.

Eddie develops lots of new potential friendships over the cours of S4. But no relationship is as important as his relationship with Dustin Henderson. (apart from Wayne, of course)

First of all, they come from similar single parent households, where both fathers have left for whatever reason, and i suspect that perhaps Dustin’s dad wasn’t so great either. I really think this is a huge part of what ignites the bond between them. They see each other as the big brother and the little brother dynamic. Which is convenient since Eddie had always wanted a younger sibling, and given how Dustin eventually latched on to Steve, the same can probably be said vice-versa. The two of them form a brotherhood that’s as strong as any blood bond because they understand what it’s like to be missing part of your family. They fill a certain void in each other that is needy to expand on the small families that they have. They look out for one another like brother’s do as evident when Dustin immediately shows concern for Eddie multiple times when he is accused of murder, and is the only person we see that 100% believes Eddie is entirely innocent. Eddie stops Dustin from falling in the lake, and then later on---you know, dies protecting him. Making the ultimate big brother sacrifice.

Dustin is also the only person to see every single side of Eddie, which shows just how comfortable he is with Dustin, they’re literally like family. He’s seen performer Eddie, both in the canteen, and likely as a frontman due to his belief in Eddie’s music being a good choice to distract the bats. He’s seen scared Eddie, neurotic Eddie, dork Eddie. But most of all, and most importantly. Dustin saw the most vulnerable and loving part of Eddie during Eddie’s death when Eddie proclaimed his love for Dustin. No one else was privy to Eddie’s emotions in the entire season other than how shit scared he was. He literally cried and told Dustin he loved him, and used his last words to tell Dustin how much he believed in him. If that’s not true platonic love, then I don’t know what is.

They’ve shared many battles together in D&D, and talked at length about LOTR, laughed, played together; as demonstrated when everyone is making weapons. They are the epitome of brothers. It’s not like Dustin and Steve, where Steve had been teaching Dustin to be more confident, but also be more like Steve...which isn’t even working out for Steve. Eddie tells Dustin to be himself (which is also aother example of Eddie letting Dustin see his gentler self), which is also what Steve needs to hear tbh. Because who Dustin is is already absolutely fine. He doesn’t need to be popular and a lady killer because ultimately high school does not matter in the grand scheme of things. There’s an extraordinary naturalness to their relationship which I don’t think Dustin has with Steve. What Dustin has with Steve had to build up. But I don’t get that sense with Dustin and Eddie. They feed off each other’s nerdy energy and being a know it all lmao.

Furthermore, I think that Eddie sees a lot of himself in Dustin. Obviously, there’s the similar family situation and their shared nerdiness. And while I don’t think Eddie quite holds the level of intelligence that Dustin has, he is also on a constant curiosity voyage---perhaps a more reckless one, though the two of them are great at getting themselves into trouble. And the way Dustin reacts to the police questioning him after the lake. Stupendous, amazing, full on Eddie energy. It’s the same with Ted Wheeler too! Both Eddie and Dustin shrug off authority figures because that usually means bad news for them for differing reasons. I’m js they’re both great at getting into trouble for sticking their noses in where they shouldn’t. I can’t imagine the things they could get up to if left alone too long!

In conclusion, while i enjoy Eddie’s other relationships. His one with Dustin is extremely important and often gets overlooked for Steddie and Hellcheer. He ‘died’ for that kid and clearly thought of him as his little brother to the point where he was jealous of Steve for being the other big brother. There is so much to them that the Duffer’s have left untouched, and it’s extremely annoying.

-> In my AUs, Balan and Lance’s human forms are about 8’7, since their maestro forms are roughly double the size of a common 15 year old boy (Leo), that makes them about 11’3 tall, no human being is 9 feet tall so they both opted to shrink down by 3 feet 😊

Maestros don’t really have last names, nor do they even have real human names, their names are usually words, phrases, adjectives, hell even random syllables put together to sound like a name! Think of characters from Nights Into Dreams—

There’s a whole Maestro world out there! Titled “The Offworld”, Offworld is kind of a realm/second earth separate from ours, that’s where Maestros come from!

-> All Maestros no matter the subspecies are born with magical/non-human abilities, though depending on the subspecies, the magic level your born with would be higher or lower, Theater Maestros (see Balan and Lance) have a natural high level of Magic, since their subspecies is more of a wildcard subspecies, being that they’re not based on any sort of animal or insect. Balan and Lance’s levels were the average magic level, but for reasons I haven’t thought of yet 🙈, they trained their magic to such a high degree, they were able to create a big enough pocket dimension to have other worlds inside it, alas, Wonderworld!

In Offworld, there are regions where a certain subspieces of Maestro is most common, whether that place is based off an actual region of our world I haven’t fully decided, tho I’ve had the little idea in mind lately that Slugterrians come from a kinda Maestro Malaysia—

There’s a ton of magical stuff and legends all over the world in Offworld, Millennial tree from cookie run? There’s a legend like that. Sailor Moon? There’s a legend like that. You think about any magic/Fatidic story, and there’s a story similar or just like that in Offworld. And it’s all true too and just happened like millions of years ago—

Madre isn’t actually a human, but a used to be Maestro, She was a theater maestro specifically, and at some point in her early-mid adulthood, banded together with a bunch of other maestros of several different subspecies, became a high enchantress with very high power, and with them created the heartbreak project! To take in humans with broken hearts that don’t want to be in the pain/world/painful world their in, and lift them to a magic sophistication ✨ and grant that very wish of being in a different world! Free of their mental and emotional even physical pain!

-> the best part about this system to them, is them powering the heartbreakers, helps power the coveters back! (that’s what I call the leaders of the heartbreak project) It’s a cycle to help one another 😌🙏 They use their powers to ‘fix’ and help broken humans ascend, the journey of the human’s ascension uses the Coveter’s power while also sharing some of their power too, after a while the ascension is complete, no more power is needed, the cycle repeats! Magic to generate more magic to then power more magic that generates magic—

Maestros that practice magic of heart can read emotions just by catching a sort of aura off of you, the stronger that emotion the greater said aura, and depending on that Maestro’s stance (positive, negative, and in rare cases neutral) they can gain a small bit of power by feeding off of your aura, Balan and Lance feeding off positive and negative energies respectively

Originally I had the idea that Maestro kind are all positive and radiant and super peaceful and :D perfect!!!11!1!1!1 :D but I’ve been liking the idea more lately that they had wars and stuff like us too just less of them— They’re not all innately perfect and positive obviously but I just imagine they’re like earth but if it went in the right direction, kinda like Splatoon where the sea life learns from humanity’s mistakes (a little bit anyways 😰) except instead of Maestros learning from Humanity it’s like Humanity in The Good Timeline lol

Some Maestros walk among humans, and have been doing so for many centuries, tho most decide not to cuz well it’s a world that isn’t where you’re from— but they get along with humans just fine! You can never really tell who’s a maestro and who’s not unless like they transform right in front of you lol

I have so many thoughts I haven’t had the chance to jot down to share with you so take this list with a few of them X3

•Personally I much prefer giving Yuu headcanons to make them their own person instead of projecting: I honestly just find it fun I feel as though self inserts are better for when you want to feel as if you are in the story due to Yuu already having certain traits attributed to them in canon (how they get described as very blunt for example is a canon trait that gets said multiple times!!!) •I’m actually a huge fan of the hc that Floyd hates when people point out how him and Jade are polar opposites or when people refer to Jade as the “better” twin. It adds more layers onto their personalities and from experience it doesn’t feel great when people compare you to your siblings using something with a negative connotation •I 100% hc that Idia has a vitamin D deficiency (maybe I’m projecting onto him but it totally fits him) he never goes outside nor does he have a proper diet and those are basically a match made in heaven for a vitamin D deficiency •It’s time for me to make a confession… I don’t like Leona XD he just never appealed to me if I’m being totally honest I almost always skip Book 2 when I’m rewatching the Books because I just couldn’t get into his backstory and generally still can’t (He’s such a fan favorite I’m sorry to admit it I just can’t personally find interest in his story) •We need more canon Cater x Trey angst just imagine “Cater… you know you can talk to me if you’re ever upset right?” Trey expressed in a worried tone as Cater turned with a surprised expression covering his face he furrowed his eyebrows “Why? Aww~ are you worried about me~♥️” Cater teased in a cheerful tone. Though, it was hard to miss the quiver of his lips and his shaking hands. He flashed Trey a smile then went back to humming what must have been a trending audio on Magicam that Trey hadn’t heard while scrolling down his feed. As he analyzed Cater’s features he couldn’t help but notice how deep his eye bags were without makeup to cover them: the glossy look in his eyes implied that he was on the verge of tears even so he still forced his cheeks to form a grin that seemed almost painful. Of course he didn’t want to force Cater to open up, but everytime he tried to help him all he was met with were the same cheery voice, shaky hands, and plastered smile. (super sorry if that sucked I don’t generally write for Trey and I haven’t written anything in a while because of college XO)

• SOOO TRUE, Floyd and Jade break a common trope with twins within fiction in which they are basically the same person and I love that for them. all the little differences that set them apart and make them their own person are so charming! also, I'm pretty sure there's one vignette in which Floyd mentions how he doesn't like being compared to Jade, especially in a negative connotation. (I can't really remember which one it is now tho... I'm pretty sure it exists ok!!)

• ANON YOU'RE SO RIGHT THAT'S CANON !!! as an Idia kinnie who also has vitamin D deficiency I can confirm it's true.

• LMAO that's fair anon, you can like whoever you'd like! he was one of my favorites at the start lol it might be because I LOVEEE the Lion King, but I can see how his attitude can get on your nerves. there are also some things I'd change about his development (and about chapter 2, too). there's a lot to analyse about him as he's very complex and that still appeals to me, but not as much as it used to as I got to meet other characters who ended up climbing the ladder of my heart and surpassing him.

A/N: Hellooo! Thank you for requesting! You’ll be my first request so I’ll do my best to fulfill everything! I hope everything seems in character, I really need to get used to writing different personality types.

Synopsis: The Genshin boys discover that their s/o is actually softer than they originally thought.

Albedo definitely didn’t mind you being distant towards him. I mean, he struggles with interactions in general so he just assumed,

“Oh, they must struggle as well.”

He never saw it as an issue between you since he knew deep down that you deeply cared for him.

He knew you’d always come back to him at the end of the day, he fully trusted that fact about you.

Strangely enough, he found you an intriguing person due to this.

Although the citizens in Mondstadt appear to see him in a positive light, there still are many who fear him deep down. After all, he keeps his secrets zipped up inside him. They know absolutely nothing about him or anything he’s capable of.

But you…you didn’t seem to care about that. And he was thankful for that.

And that brings you to today; a bright sunny day with the rays from the sun gleaming down.

The two of you, along with Klee, were outside the walls of Mondstadt, nearby the lake surrounding the city of freedom.

Today, Klee decided to have a little play date with the two of you. While Albedo was painting away, you and Klee were supposed to play around together.

If he’s being honest, Albedo was a little nervous.

You and Klee had never played together before and due to the distant and cold personality he was used to when it came to you, he wasn’t sure how you’d react with being around a bouncy and hyper child such as Klee.

So when Albedo spotted you playing with Klee, a soft smile on your face, he had a mini heart attack.

Not because he was panicking or anything, but more because he wasn’t used to seeing you smile like this. It made his chest feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Later that day, Albedo made sure to comment on the event.

“Well, it appears you two were getting along fondly.”

“You were watching?!”

“Of course I was watching. How could I look away from that fond smile you had on your face?”

“Shut up!”

“It was very cute.”

“I SAID SHUT UP!”

Diluc and you first met months earlier. You were just another customer at first to him while he was simply a bartender.

Immediately though, he found you interesting.

While his other customers were loud and obnoxious, you would just sit at a table in the corner of Angels Share, minding your own business.

You would only ever speak to ask for another drink, which he would always provide.

“Another glass of apple cider, please.”

He doesn’t know what came over him when he decided he mentally decided to court you. He probably will never know the exact answer either.

It wasn’t the easiest either. Courting you was one of the most difficult things this man has ever done, and somehow he accomplished it in the end.

You were challenging with your distant personality, to say the least. It seemed to him that you wanted absolutely nothing to do with him, that you didn’t see him in the way he saw you.

So when you finally accepted him after weeks, the relief this man felt wash over him in an instant is indescribable.

Now present day, Diluc finds himself heading back to Angels Share in the middle of the night. The moon was directly above him as he silently walked through the city, the only other light source being lanturns.

Due to the drowsiness that he was currently feeling, he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him when he spotted you.

“What in the world are they doing out in the middle of the night?”

But what startled him more than the time on the clock was your facial expression. For the first time, Diluc saw you smile.

Diluc just stood frozen in time as you sat there, rubbing the belly of a stray dog, an empty bowl beside you. He could only assume you’ve been taking care of a stray.

“Who’s a good boy? It’s you, isn’t it!”

“(Y/N)?”

You instantly froze in place, your head creaking towards Diluc’s direction.

“D-Diluc.”

“What in the world are you doing up at this hour?”

“I-I could say the same for you! What are you doing up this late, huh?!”

You shot up from the ground, face beet red.

“I asked you first, love.”

“NOTHING. I WASN’T DOING ANYTHING!”

“That dog below you giving you puppy dog eyes says otherwise-“

“WHATS A DOG??”

Venti was simply just strumming away at his lyre, the sound alluring the Mondstadt citizens around him as he stood at the foot of the Barbatos statue in the plaza.

His eyes were shut as he too, was preoccupied with listening to the soothing sounds.

When his fingers came slowly to a halt, his aqua green eyes peeked open, the sound of the citizens around him clapping filling his ears.

A smile morphed onto his face.

But soon that smile increased in size. Beyond the crowd surrounding him, he spotted you. You weren't doing anything special, just standing there.

“(Y/N)!”

The bard could hardly control the excitement of you watching him doing what he adored.

Although your facial expression read that of a bored person, Venti didn't seem to mind at all at that moment. Instead, he craved your attention.

Soon enough, the bard stood in front of you, his grin somehow getting wider.

"(Y/N)! Did you enjoy the song?"

"It was nice."

Nice? Only nice? Your facial expression said otherwise. Was the song boring to listen to? Did he mess up a note? Maybe it just wasn't your type of song.

Venti's eyes narrowed in thought, his lips pursed and eyebrows furrowed. He wanted you to say something more than just nice, he wanted you to smile for once due to one of his songs.

That is how you found yourself in this situation. Daily, Venti would find you around Mondstadt, play a song for you, and then wait for your response. He wanted you to say something more than the song was nice without a single hint of emotion before leaving.

But each time, that was your answer and Venti was getting annoyed. Not at you of course, but that he lacked the power to make you smile. He’s the Anemo God, but he can't seem to make his s/o smile.

So the astonishment Venti felt when he glimpsed his eyes over towards you after he played yet another song and saw you smiling ever so slightly, he almost dropped his lyre.

"(Y-Y/N)...are you smiling...?"

"Wait what-"

"I saw it! I saw you smile!"

When I tell you Venti was all over the place, I mean it. He was like a bouncy ball with him bouncing in every direction. But he couldn't control it. The pure bliss he felt in that moment took over all his actions.

"I-I didn't do anything. My face twitched."

"You can't lie to me! I saw it with my own eyes!"

The relationship between Xingqiu and you happened almost instantly. The two of you went from total strangers to Xingqiu always dragging you on his little adventures.

It all started with just a single sentence;

"Oh, you like Legend of the Shattered Halberd as well?"

Let me tell you, the look on his face when you said that. He always dreamed of having another person he could converse with when it came to books. So, the moment you said that he wasn't about to let you walk away without learning your name and other books you have read.

A friendship sparked between the two of you. He was one of the only people who would constantly talk with you even if you acted distantly. Soon enough, the two of you became a couple.

He wasn't worried about grabbing you from your home and taking you outside on a little adventure after he just finished reading one of his adventure novels. And of course, he'd always have a book with him during this time. You found that cute about him, but you never showed it.

Whenever the two of you would chat about books, Xingqiu was always shocked whenever you told him you haven't read a certain book.

"You're telling me you've never read The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies?!"

"Never."

That's when he shoved the first volume in your face, an immediate serious expression on his face. Blinking a few times, you accepted the book from him.

"Read it and then tell me how you feel about it. I can give you the other volumes if you enjoy it."

"Okay."

Xingqiu thought you seemed wary at first to read it. He knew you weren't as majorly obsessed with books as he was, so he internally was just preparing for you to end up not reading it.

He didn't mind it though, reading wasn't for everyone after all.

The following day though, he felt the sudden urge to stop by Wanwen Bookhouse. He just wanted to skim some of the books there, maybe purchase one or two.

But those plans immediately ended when he spotted you. You were leaning against the wooden red railings, the book he had let you borrowed flipped open in your hands. And you were a chunk through it already.

Xingqiu could've worn his eyes were bulging out of his eye sockets because the one other thing he saw was the tiny smile located on your face.

You didn't seem to notice Xingqiu before he was standing right in front of you, a huge grin on his face.

"You seem to be enjoying the book I lent you. Would you care for the remaining volumes?"

You almost dropped the book as a shriek left your mouth.

"Where did you come from?!"

"Well, I felt the urge to stop by the bookhouse and saw you. So, about those other volumes..."

There was a moment of silence between the two of you, your cheeks slightly reddish.

"I'll...pick them up later..."

Roland x Reader Headcanons:

You are this man’s life and everything. The loss of the last person he cared about was hard, and he is going to absolutely savor every single moment of life he has with you, even if that life is eternal.

Some of his favorite memories are honestly some of the most normal experiences. There’s just something that remains in his memory about enjoying even the most mundane tasks with someone you love, and it holds on into his memory.

One of his favorite things to do is hear you talk and try to learn skills that you are passionate about. Times when you just get to excitedly rant about the things you know from the bottom of your heart just makes him so happy.

He remembers even the most specific details you bring up that you expect everyone else to forget. You could briefly bring up how you liked something like sewing, and he’ll spend his free time finding a book to surprise you with that would let you both work on that.

No one starts off perfect of course, it’s unrealistic to hold yourself to such high standards when you haven’t had the time and experience to work on it like others have. That being said, some of the things he makes are… laughably bad.

Going with the previous sewing example, you might be showing him how to make a plush. Everything seems to be going to plan, but when you look over at what he’s done so far it’s uhh… it’s certainly getting there.

He does not take your attempts not to laugh to heart though. He completely understands that it’s not the greatest and won’t be because he hasn’t had prior experience, but he’s honestly just glad that it got a good reaction out of you. He probably joins in on the laughing too.

He is rather skilled in cooking too, and is completely willing to teach you if you’re interested. He’s very observant too, and if you talk about a certain type of food you would love to have for lunch while you worked at Lobotomy Corporation then he will devote himself to finding a recipe for it.

Already good at the culinary skill yourself? Great! You two can work together to make some really nice dishes. It also helps as you’ll be able to chime in with any advice to figure out how to make the food even better.

The librarians would be incredibly grateful too. With the both of you, you’re able to make quite a bit to eat, far more than can be shared with just the two of you. Because of this, you’re willing to share with the rest of the general works floor as well as any visitors from above floors. It’s always a nice delicacy whenever available.

He is a bit mischievous, and that is amplified when he’s with you much to the dismay of Angela. You won’t do anything too bad, but when you two are together there’s a 50/50 of you being up to no good.

After a specific incident involving an extreme abundance of sticky notes spread across the library you two were punished by having cleaning duty for 3 weeks. It was absolutely worth it though.

If you get in trouble you both will try to cover for each other with such elaborate excuses that if it was believable at first, it sure wasn’t by the end. You both keep adding on to it, acknowledging your fate is already sealed, so you might as well have some fun with it.

Not to mention the consequences you face aren’t too bad when you’re together. Angela has also grown a lot more relaxed over the time of the library. Don’t expect to be able to weasel yourself out of every punishment though.

There are times where there will be challenges. Not necessarily problems in the relationship, but rather ulterior issues that might pop up. Luckily over the process of the library, Roland has adapted a much better head on approach to these issues rather than avoiding them.

You’re also there for support. Remnants of his old life might appear through nightmares or sudden memories creeping up, but they’re a lot easier to deal with when you’re at his side. He’ll take a deep breath and remember that acknowledging the past is important, but lingering on it too much can destroy and prevent you from ever moving on.

He has a lot of regrets, and so do you. You may share experiences of your own past that you dealt with in unhealthy ways, and that you wish you can change but can ultimately do nothing about. You remind him that who you value is who he is now, and the growth he’s had from where he started.

He’s on the more affectionate side too. If ever you’re standing he might just approach you and wrap one of his arms around you and see how you’re doing. It’s a pretty casual hold, but it’s loving nonetheless.

If you’re at a table he’ll also just stop by, pull a chair out, sit down, and lift his head in his hands and ask how you’re doing. Sometimes he’ll actually just stay there in silence and stare at you with this goofy smile until you glance up and notice him.

If you’re feeling like having fun you can use this opportunity to just ignore him. He’ll start talking about how sad, hurt, and lonely he is, and how he wished someone that looked exactly like you could come on over and cheer him up.

He’ll sigh all dramatically until you give in and stand up, head over, and give him a giant hug and peck on the cheek. He’ll peek open one closed eye, grin, and return the affection.

For some reason he gives off a feel of someone who would be bothered by seasonal allergies. Even if there aren’t really many plants blooming in the library or the outskirts where the place has been relocated to, there’s still the humid air and dust that needs to be cleaned.

As annoying as it is to be stuffy and sneeze, he’ll use this to his advantage as a method to exaggerate a cold. You know he’s obviously faking it, but check his temperature anyway and pamper him as if it was true.

In previous headcanons I claimed that he was a heavy sleeper. I think this is still true, but a fun circumstance you might find the two of you in is when he ends up falling asleep outside of bed.

Sometimes if you’re working later or he just didn’t get that much time to rest, he might fall asleep on a table, chair, couch, or other place he’s at. It’s not like you’re going to leave him there, so you come over to pick him up bridal style and carry him back to bed where he can rest.

It doesn’t matter if you’re taller, shorter, or the same height. Considering how much you’ve fought in the library, you’re definitely strong enough to carry Roland to a better place.

If he’s really out cold he won’t even notice. If he does end up stirring awake, he’s surprised that he’s suddenly in your arms and confused about what's going on. He gets a bit flustered at the situation for both falling asleep at the library, as well as waking up to the kind act of you carrying him.

He’ll compliment your strength, and you’ll thank and shush him before setting him back in bed where he can doze off once again. Chances are you’ll join him immediately, or moments after you get done with what you’re doing.

as angels, the brothers weren’t created with any specific gender in mind. (to me, all angels present masculine but they aren’t men)

in the celestial realm, since the brothers didn’t really pay attention to their gender identity, they never really got time to explore it. so maybe all of them were some form of nonbinary ?? (i think agender)

it’s only AFTER they turned to demons, the thought of gender came to mind. (some brothers even changed their physical form)

▸  for like the longest, levi didn’t know what to do abt his dysphoria…he hadn’t figured out how to change forms like mammon 😞

▸  mammon helped levi the most ^^ taught them how to change their body at will to help relieve any stress it might’ve brought.

▸  when levi decided they wanted a bigger chest, it worked for a little bit! …then he felt a little too feminine n the cycle repeats.

▸  they couldn’t find the right in-between for him so levi would kinda have breakdowns over it 🙁(me tbh…)

▸  mammon was right there trying to help his little bro.

▸ it wasn’t till much later, when mammon heard asmo talking about it, he learned about the existence of binders 😯

▸ offered the idea to levi, which was sort of confused by but yk, went along with it.

▸ the binder idea was great, it acted like a middle ground for him(?)

▸ he could present masc some days, while still having the body he preferred (levi does prefer fem bodies :)

▸ their bottom dysphoria is a mess, let’s not get into it 🧍🏽

▸ levi needed lots of reassurance when ‘coming out’ to his brothers. mammon was right behind him cheering him on :D

▸ every one of them all helped levi in little or big ways :’)

▸  satan’s form is still masc, they prefer it that way. (they do however, have a more feminine face i.e features. it’s really cute actually)
