crimsooonnnn, (〃ω〃) i wanted to ask if you have any cute stories about baby tomioka or any funny family moments with you, him, and giyuu ♡ i’d love to hear about them!!
Aaaahh these thoughts usually just creep up on me lolol but I’ll try to remember them!!
One I always think of though, that I’ve already mentioned, is baby Tomioka being a hair puller lolol. Always pulling our hair and never realizing bc he’s just trying to cling on lol. Only sometimes does he do it out of entertainment. So sometimes I’ll headcannon that that’s the reason Giyuu cuts his hair so it could encourage his baby to pull on hair less lol
He also like to chew on things, teething or not teething. He’s just a chewer lolol. Since I also mentioned already with the whole “he loves to steal Giyuu’s kirimi keychain and chew on it” kekeke. He’ll chew on his straw and then whine that he can’t drink out of it anymore bc he chewed the straw shut lolol
And he of course had the good baby smell!! He smelled so cute and sweet, Giyuu had caught me huffing his head multiple times. (And often times he joined me too lmao)
I also kind of wanna say he’s more of a papa’s boy!! 😖 not cuz it’s “father and first born son” but just because they get along so, so well. So this one time, Giyuu was holding him and he just kept crying and Giyuu didn’t know why. He tried everything and nothing worked and when I held him, he finally stopped crying. He just wanted his mama and we were both surprised bc of just how much more attached he is to Giyuu lolol. (Of course he loves me too! He was more attached to me the much younger he was since a baby usually often depends more on their mother lol)
I REALIZE IM JUST REALLY RAMBLING ABOUT HEADCANONS LMAO!!
Okay so a silly moment or scenario!
One I think about often is Giyuu walking in on me singing our baby a lullaby 😖😖💗 there are a few songs I always have in mind that I think would be great as a lullaby. And I’d just wanna sing them to my fictional baby lol. But Giyuu knows I’ll stop if I see or hear him so he’s just admiring from the doorframe until I sense his presence and get embarrassed that he heard me lmao. (Giyuu will also sing to his baby, but so softly and quietly. More of like he’s singing to himself while holding his baby but nonetheless still singing to him ♡)
Not really a silly moment but I guess a cute one! I looveee ponds and watching fish swim around and I wanna say my baby would be mesmerized by it too lol. So we’re walking through a garden as a family one day and find a pond with koi inside so me and baby Tomioka are just staring in awe, pointing at the fish and just simply entranced lol. And it gives Giyuu a chance to just stare and admire us and he just thinks about how absolutely happy and lucky he is ppfftt. Such a soft expression on his face!! Smiling happily at us as he watches his family being all cute and domestic lolol. And then he starts to think of adding a koi pond to his estate so that we could stare at it all the time kekeke

What were the leaks? I never know where to see them or how to decipher like others on here.
they're pretty easy to search up on twitter, or used to be, if you just type up "bnha ### spoilers" ... but idk if that's still going cuz some of the accounts that were posting moved to other places.
i use this discord to get them, tho...!!! and this link should be the invite, tho idk if i'm allowed to share or how long it will last or whatever LOL.
but just for brevity, and you can always ask (spoilers under the cut):
we're currently seeing endeavor's fight with dabi, who is basically a burned-up, non-entity right now (so delusional that he's calling out for natsu to play :((()
and he's basically at the point of blowing up/exploding, which endeavor realizes, so he starts to like... fly? with him to get him away (resigning himself just to die with him), and as he's in the sky, dabi starts producing ice (essentially a newly-developed extension of his quirk)... and then REI IS THERE LMFAOOOO using her quirk too .... anddd chapter END.
and that's what u missed on glee!

contents Ⳋ fluff fluff fluff, mutual pining, zhongli is so smitten ohhhh
a/n : felt nice to write sum fluff for a change :3 i hope you guys like it !!! i had fun writing this lolol
word count: 869
Tumblr media
a faint tune played in the background of a teahouse tucked away in qingce village; tea and an aroma of incense clouded your senses.
“it seems as if my invitations to you have become a habit of mine. i hope it isn’t grueling for you,” zhongli speaks, his golden orbs cast upon you. he delicately lifts his teacup to his lips. you shake your head. “nonsense,” you smile, “i’d not rather be anywhere else.” you follow suit, lifting the teacup to your lips and taking a sip. the taste of sugar and tea leaves swarm your mouth; a wonderful taste.
his eyes never ceased to fixate upon you. he was enamored — though his eyes were calm — as if he was gazing upon the moon and the vast night sky, or basking beneath the sun. “would you like another cup?” zhongli’s voice was soft, almost as if he weren’t human. his eyes were filled with a gentle gaze that made you feel warm. his lips curved into a thin upturned smile.
you nod, your eyes shining upon is. “i’d much appreciate that. thank you, zhongli.” his name flows off your tongue like butter. as if it was always meant for you to say. “of course.”
zhongli sets his empty cup, then quietly poured another cup from the kettle, steam rising to the ceiling. zhongli was incredibly focused on the task at hand, but also extremely conscious of your presence. he would glance at you from time to time. you watch his movements with precision, and you wonder how his actions always seemed to be so graceful and flawless.
he hands you your cup, his fingers gently grazing against yours amidst the action. “thank you,” you say, your voice quieter. you didn’t want to distract him, he seemed focused. he notices the shift in your voice, his gaze back to remaining on your face. the way his fingers brushed against yours wasn’t accidental; he didn’t mind the contact, in fact, he was comforted by it. “you are welcome.”
the moment went on quietly, until he cleared his throat and sat back in his chair. he sipped on his tea, his gaze lingering as you set the teacup down on the silver plate that matched. you take a cube of sugar and drops it into the seething liquid, stirring it with the tip of your finger before bringing it to your lips with a hum. you pick it up carefully and take a sip, a sigh. “your tea is always amazing, zhongli.”
he smiles. he doesn’t mind being complimented so regularly, as long as it is from you. “the art of making tea is something i’ve perfected over the eons,” his voice was deep and soft — warm — and a light chuckle leaves him. “tea brings life to the table. i hope it isn’t too strong for you.”
your lips curl into a gentle smile. you love the sound of his voice; baritone and rumbling. comforting. you shake your head. “i’d never refuse tea, especially brewed from the hands of you,” you chuckle. he couldn’t help the way his heart tendered at your words. he chuckles in return, a gesture he had heard from you multiple times before.
your heart beat is ringing in your ears, unbeknownst to him. the way he never fails to extend an invitation toward you for a cup of tea always had you giddy, no less with his voice, his gentleness and his entire being. the way he looked at you had you melting every time. you couldn’t help but wonder — was there something more to this? or were you being delusional?
“how does it taste?” he inquires, his voice gentle as his eyes remained glued to yours, not daring to gaze anywhere else, just in case he would not be met with yours again. you snap from your little daze and clear your throat a bit. “it’s delightful,” you smile, your voice a bit softer as you look at him.
a beat of silence goes by.
“you are beautiful.”
oh. oh. was this happening? were you hearing things correctly?
he watched your cheeks heat up a little, and he smiles. he gazes at you as if it was the first time he’s seen you, as if he wanted to commit these moments to memory. “t—thank you,” you mutter, unknowing of how to go about this.
he smiles and begins. “since we’ve been drinking tea together in the evenings for quite a while, i’ve come to notice something about myself.” he speaks, and you hum. “what may that be?” you ask with a tilt of your head. you feel your heart in your throat. there’s no way.
he hesitates for a moment. it was as if he was trying to find the right words to say; but he decides to express his words with conviction, just as he spoke before. “i feel a deep sense of attachment to you,” he begins, his hand extending to yours and gently placing it atop your skin, “as if you’ve become… a part of me.”
you smile, your eyes sparkling with a glimmer of joy. “im glad im not the only one who feels that way, then.”

You thought you were a good person. You dedicated your life to fighting ghosts, you helped old ladies cross the street, you recycled when you could. That was enough to be considered a good person, right? You were almost totally convinced, except for the all the vile things you had to say about Anthony Lockwood.
He was, with no exaggeration, the bane of your existence. You had known him all your life, but hadn’t been friends with him since you were both twelve, just beginner agents. And yet, despite all of this hatred burning up within you, it seemed like the universe wouldn’t give you a moment of peace.
You understood running into his company every once in a while — agency events, maybe the occasional case, but lately it seemed like it was every week you had to face Lockwood’s nauseating grin and infuriating attempts at being charming. Whether it was your respective teams being sent on overlapping missions, picking up more supplies or just trying to pick up a coffee after a draining night, you had started to see Lockwood everywhere.
When you saw him again whilst you were picking up some doughnuts for your team you couldn’t help yourself snapping at him.
“God, are you obsessed with me or something, Anthony?” You barely spared him a glance as you finished the transaction with the cashier, quietly thanking him as you left. Lockwood did the same, practically throwing down his cash to catch up to you.
“You wish I was obsessed with you! I am just as unhappy as you are, trust me.”
“So what, you chased after me just say something we both already knew? Or do you have something you’d like to say, an apology perhaps?” You chanced a look in his eyes. Hurt flashed through them, and you felt a sick sense of satisfaction.
“I’ve told you before and I’ll tell you again, I don’t know what you’re talking about!” He cried, almost dropping his own box of pastries when he ran a hand through his hair in frustration. You didn’t try to hide the rolling of your eyes.
“Whatever,” You huffed, before being struck with an idea. “By the way, did you hear that I’m now a team leader? That makes me the youngest in at least ten years — maybe ever. Pretty good for someone not fit to be an agent, don’t you think?” You feigned an interest in his opinion. His face dropped for a moment, then contorted to become almost polite.
“That was never—” You interrupted him with another sigh.
“Anthony, I really don’t care to listen to you discredit my achievements anymore.” You left him on the side of the street, marching back to your dorm at Fittes. You didn’t need to hear him tear you down and ruin your self-confidence more than he already had — not that you would ever tell him that. Lockwood was similarly disgruntled. Every interaction between you two turned into a fight regardless of what he said; he just couldn’t win.
You had a week of blissful distance from Lockwood and Co before you ran into them, quite unfortunately. You and your team had been assigned to an apartment that allegedly housed a few Type Ones, nothing serious but the residents had complained of hearing noises at odd hours. You held a bit of doubt — living in the dorms had forced you to become accustomed to the most bizarre noises at night, and those were most definitely not ghosts. Plus, adults tended to be paranoid; the noise could be anything from rodents to their little children being awake in the early hours of the morning.
Still, you had a job to complete, so you trudged your small team up to the apartment in question, ready for a quick job and to be cozy in bed before midnight. When Lockwood and Co were standing outside the apartment next to your appointed one, your face dropped into a scowl.
“What are you doing here?” You snapped, talking directly to Lockwood. He hesitated for a moment before turning to face you, brilliant smile shining.
“Lovely to see you again too, sweetheart, we’re actually here on a job? Nice of you to come as our clean-up crew, but that really won’t be necessary. Run along now.” You had to hand it to him, Lockwood had perfected his condescending tone. You were going to respond when the girl behind him began to talk.
“Hey, I recognise you! You’re—” Lockwood cut her off quickly.
“Alright, Luce, I think it’s time we go inside, don’t you?” He was shepherding the girl through the apartment door before you could process what was happening. George, to his credit, looked highly amused at the whole thing. You always liked George, even when he was at Fittes, and seeing him was usually the only upside to your interactions with Lockwood and Co.
“Who’s the girl?” You asked, nodding your head to where she and Lockwood had disappeared to.
“Lucy Carlyle,” He answered, “She’s a Listener — still learning the ropes.”
“And she knows me how?” George just smiled, and you could tell he was keeping secrets.
“I’m sure you’ll find out one day.” He began to follow the rest of his coworkers and you pouted.
“I hate when you side with him!” You called after him, before composing yourself and directing your own team to start the night. They just went along with it, used to your behaviour, and set up your equipment for the mission.
It was not going well. You could all feel a supernatural presence, but no ghosts and no signs of what you’d thought might’ve been the source. Plus, all you could hear was the apartment next door — their stompy footsteps, their laughter over the tea you knew they always had, and one of them wouldn’t stop knocking on the fucking wall.
It was supremely childish, and you would put all of your bets on it being Lockwood trying to throw you off your game. Unfortunately, it was working. And your bad mood was spreading to your teammates. The mission was certainly not going well, all four of you picking fights and throwing digs at each other as you searched uselessly for what could possible be the source, all with no confirmed supernatural presence.
Just as you were about to say something really cruel to your favourite member of your team, the words died in your throat. The temperature rose a few degrees, and you could practically see all your negative thoughts floating away. By the looks of it, your teammates all felt it too. When the freezing shock of the change wore off, you all resigned to embarrassment, realising exactly what had just happened.
This was only furthered when Lockwood waltzed into the apartment, cocky grin practically blinding you.
“Guess that another successful mission for Lockwood and Co now includes saving the careers of egotistical Fittes agents too now,” He crowed, and you rolled your eyes so hard you thought they might disconnect from your face.
“Clearly,” You tried to keep your tone level, “The source wasn’t in this apartment, so we couldn’t have found it regardless of if you were here.”
“Plus they were just Type Ones. You didn’t save any lives, Lockwood,” Your best friend, Sarah, piped up and you smirked.
“Maybe not in the physical sense,” He conceded, “But I definitely saved the career of the ‘youngest ever team leader’ — don’t think you would’ve kept the position for very long if you couldn’t fight a simple Type One.” You turned red in humiliation. How dare Lockwood act so high and mighty, like you owed him the career you fought so hard for? You wanted to express all the seething fury that burned your tongue, but the only thing that came out was a vicious declaration.
“I hate you, Anthony Lockwood.” Lockwood at least had the decency to look somewhat hurt. Although you’d been arguing for years with the insults only getting meaner as you both grew up and developed more precise vocabularies, neither of you had ever vocalised any hatred before. It cut deeper than Lockwood thought it would. You didn’t wait to observe the intricacies of his reaction, storming out of the apartment, making sure your kit bag hit him heavily as you passed.
“Well,” Lockwood broke the awkward silence that fell over the apartment, “I think we’re all done for the night. Let’s go.” Lockwood and Co began packing up their kit bags and gear, Lucy sweeping some leftover magnesium dust under an armchair. Lockwood paused in the doorway, looking back to Sarah with a curious softness.
“Make sure she’s alright, yeah?” Sarah nodded, swallowing a curious look. With a final nod he was gone, leaving the rest of your team to wonder what had just happened to shift the dynamic.
Back in your dorm at Fittes, you were still fired up. Pissed off by Lockwood’s ego, his audacity, you had practically already paced a hole in the floor upon your short return from dinner. All of these years and he still didn’t believe you were a capable agent, let alone team leader! You may not have really hated him; it was hard to truly hate someone who you shared so much history with, but you were glad you said it. Glad you hurt him, even a little. Maybe then he’d know how you felt.
He had — probably unwittingly — saved you arse though. It was one of your very first missions and unfortunately Lockwood was right; a team leader who couldn’t defeat a simple Type One, or realise that their case was a goose chase in the wrong apartment, wouldn’t last. So although he was the one who had told you you couldn’t be an agent in the first place, you probably owed your current position to him, which only mad you more mad. It was an endless cycle of being angry at Anthony Lockwood.
When Sarah came in to sit on your bed, you still weren’t done, taking the opportunity to verbalise your stream of thought.
“He is simply the worst person in the whole world and has no respect for me! I mean, he wouldn’t have helped at all if it didn’t serve his own inflated ego ,” You said, throwing your hands in the air in anguish. Sarah simply watched, barely concealing her amusement.
“Ok, but have you considered maybe he just argues back because you hate him? I mean, where did it start?” You huffed, vaulting yourself back onto your mattress.
“When we were twelve years old, he told me I couldn’t be an agent. I said ‘fuck you’ and have worked my bloody arse off to be one despite it, and to become the youngest team leader at Fittes, and yet every time I see him he still tries to sabotage my career or make me look stupid! God, he drives me up the wall!”
“So you’ve said all these horrid things because he didn’t believe in you?” She laughed a little, eliciting a deep frown from you.
“You don’t get it,” You said, tone solemn, “He was my best friend. He was supposed to believe in me even when everyone else said it was dumb.” The dampened mood brought a premature end to your conversation, Sarah leaving you to your thoughts and feelings as you dwelled on the past in a way you would usually forbid yourself from.
You pulled a framed photo out from behind your stack of books on the shelf. You and Lockwood as children, smiling brightly on a day at the beach, a spade in your hand and a bucket in his, your free ones intertwined as kids often do. You didn’t know why you’d kept it after all these years, looking at any photo of Lockwood typically made you mad, but you felt a bit guilty discarding the keepsake, especially the handmade frame his parents had given you one birthday before they passed. Plus, the memory untouched was one of your favourites — one of the last of your carefree days in childhood when you and Lockwood were best friends and both your families were whole. You held it softly for a moment, indulging yourself in being swept away by memories before deciding enough was enough and returning to the present, distracting yourself with a novel you’d picked up.
You were given a few weeks to cool down, blissfully free from any trace of Lockwood. You thought he must’ve been aware of the heightened tension between you recently, since you’d seen Lucy shopping around Arif’s and ran into George whilst getting your usual Friday night takeaway.
Hearing your name being called from around the corner of an aisle you turned quickly, reflexes on edge. Seeing it was just the redhead you relaxed, making yourself smile.
“Oh, hi, Lucy. How are you?” You made polite conversation, continuing on with your shopping. She replied cordially, a vague awkward air between you that you were both trying your best to overcome.
“We’re all really sorry about the case the other day, by the way. We didn’t mean to take it over or jeopardise your job or anything.”
“It’s nothing,” You assured, “I shouldn’t have let my emotions get the best of me, every agent knows that.”
“Yeah, but if Lockwood hadn’t—”
“Lucy,” You interrupted, “You don’t need to condemn Lockwood, or defend him. We both know where we stand with each other and that’s ok. I hope that doesn’t stop us from being friends either; you’re sweet.” Lucy managed a smile, revealing a pretty sparkle in her eye.
“I’d like to be friends too. Maybe we just won’t tell him,” She giggled, and you nodded gravely.
“Sounds like a plan.” You left Arif’s with a bag full of groceries and plan for coffee sometime.
George was less forgiving than Lucy. As you bickered over who got the last can of Coke in the restaurant’s little fridge, he imparted some of his very much unwanted advice.
“You should apologise. I think you crossed a line,” He said and you rolled your eyes.
“He questioned my right to even be where I am — I think I have the right to be pissed at him.”
“He didn’t mean it,” George said quickly. Almost too quickly.
“How would you know?” You narrowed your eyes. George recoiled — he’d been caught.
“You know,” He trailed off, “Lockwood’s not like that. You should know that better than anyone.” You huffed again, fed up.
“I knew,” You corrected, “He’s shown me exactly how he feels about me now. And I am absolutely fine with that. I’m taking the Coke.” You ended the conversation abruptly, snatching the can out of George’s grip.
“But Lockwood doesn’t like any of the other flavours!” He called after you. You exaggerated a laugh, not looking back as you opened the restaurant door quickly.
“I know!” You yelled over your shoulder. George watched you leave, calculating look in his eyes. You said you hated Lockwood, he didn’t doubt you believed it, too. But he knew that most people didn’t remember which fizzy drinks their enemies liked.
⋆ ˚。 ⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚。 ⋆
Thankfully, you got just the distraction you needed. Your team had been given one of the most exciting cases on the Fittes roster. One of those old boutique hotels with funnily named rooms and a long, terrible history that had you buried in fascinating research. You couldn’t believe your team had been given the assignment, it was a sign that you were really beginning to be respected as a team leader in the agency. So, you couldn’t screw it up.
You and your team had been practically camped out in the Fittes archives, researching as much as you possibly could about the old hotel. There were a smattering of unfortunate deaths across the years — some darker than others, but you were confident it was nothing you couldn’t handle. The owners hadn’t specified exactly what supernatural experiences they had seen around the hotel, just that it was clear there were several presences around and they wanted them all gone to reopen the hotel as soon as possible. This did admittedly make you a little apprehensive — you didn’t actually have a solid idea of how many ghosts you’d be dealing with, and it was anyone’s guess how many of them would be Type Twos.
Finally, you were confident you and your team had done as much research as you could, and you were prepared for anything. And so you packed your kit bags, took the train ride and rocked up to the hotel mid afternoon, confidence overflowing. By nightfall you’d been on a tour of the grounds, set up your base and had started brewing some tea to get you all in the zone. You took a glance out the front window, seeing movement in one of the windows of the house next door. It was owned by the people who ran the hotel and they intended to open it as a second venue, but delegated the job to some smaller agency since the stakes for it weren’t as high.
It was all going well for a while. You had a plan to go room by room, making each ghost free before finishing in the majorly haunted kitchen. You were inclined to believe there’d be a cluster of Type Twos there since it was set alight years ago, and the accident had been swept under the rug in favour of saving the business.
The entryway was easy; a few Type Ones that practically led you their sources, clearly just wanting to finally be laid to rest. There was one nasty Limbless that gave you all a fright, but your researcher, Ben, was always miles ahead of the rest of you and knew exactly who the ghost was and therefore how to put him to rest. You told him you owed him a beer later and moved on, crossing a single room off the floor plan and shifting into the library, which was not so easy.
You started to think things were not as great as you originally anticipated when you turned to face the mass of Type Ones. Not the end of the world, a little bloody annoying though. Sarah seemed to agree, kicking the leg of a couch in frustration. The four of you figured your way out of it, though significantly depleted of supplies.
You returned to your home base to recoup, physically and mentally battered.
“What’s the plan?” Sarah asked, chugging down mouthfuls from her water bottle. You bit the inside of your cheek as you thought hard, tapping your fingers insistently on the old wooden table.
“Alright, I think we’ve got enough for one more safely. Kyan, you go outside and get the rest of our equipment whilst we hit the second bedroom.”
“If we’re right then there should only be the one ghost there, right? The strangled woman?” You nodded in response to Ben, mentally drawing your plan.
“And if you’re wrong?” Kyan asked.
“We won’t be,” You affirmed, tapping twice on the table to get you all moving.
Kyan left the building to go fetch the spare supplies and the remaining three of you ventured into the second bedroom. Everything was as it should be; lower temperature, creeping feelings of unease and miasma. You’d put together your chain circle and were feeling good about the Type Two woman you were facing, well, as good as you could in those circumstances.
That was, until it wasn’t just one Type Two. Despite the research and preparation you’d undertaken, there was definitely more than one Type Two enraged by your presence in the room at that moment. There was the woman, an angry apparition of some sort — you didn’t have the time to exactly figure out which subtype she fell into when a man also appeared. Shit. He wasted no time showing you he was aggressive too, and your heart sunk into your toes.
Doing some quick mental calculations, you announced the new plan — to get out. As team leader, you refused to be responsible for an injury or something worse because you wouldn’t back down when you knew you didn’t have enough defences left.
“Soon as it’s safe, get the fuck out of here,” You said, feeling to make sure they were still both in the circle with you as you stood with backs inward. “Use your defences as liberally as you feel you need to — we’re all getting out of here tonight.”
“What about the sources?” Sarah asked nervously, “We’ve only got one or two so far.”
“Who cares? Most agencies get one or two a mission and we’re in a giant bloody hotel. We’ve got more nights to get this done. We can’t get it done if you lot go off and die, can we?” Ben shrugged.
“S’pose not. Let’s go.” With that the three of you made a run for it, bolting out the bedroom door and into the corridor.
“Oh fuck!” You yelled, dodging out the way of another phantom headed your way. Evidently your previous endeavours had attracted the attention of some of the other ghosts inhabiting the hotel, none looking all that happy.
Your swear words didn’t falter as you continued the escape, ducking and jumping and making an utter fool of yourself to ensure you all made it out alive. You’d been covered by Sarah a few minutes ago with one of her magnesium flares, and so returned the favour without hesitation, only faltering slightly when you realised it was your last. You tried not to worry about it too much, you were nearing the laundry where there was a back door you could get to.
The closer you got to your escape the fewer visible apparitions there were. That was a good thing, your chances of ghost touch reducing greatly. However, that didn’t mean you weren’t still being hunted. A poltergeist had found you somewhere along the way, and the stream of things being thrown at you hadn’t ended yet. You’d vaguely felt something heavy hitting the back of your head and shoulders, but the adrenaline pumping through your veins was withholding the pain for the moment.
You’d crossed the threshold into the laundry, the back door within your sights. Maybe you got complacent, believing the end was nearer than you thought. Maybe it was just awful timing. However, as your feet hit the tiles of the room, you were being swept off your feet by the washing machine sliding into you, crushing you between it and the wall. You cried out unintentionally, feeling a sickening crack inside your chest. Your teammates turned back, door wide open and safety in sight.
“Don’t you dare come back for me,” You croaked, the wind pushed out of you. “Or I swear to God I’ll come and haunt you.” Ben took the threat and ran, ducking out the door into the fresh air of the night. Sarah hesitated, turning back to lock eyes with you, regret painted across her features. With a final threat she left too, leaving you to try and push the machine away from you in order to make your own escape. However, in an unfortunate series of events, the adrenaline started to wear off after your chase and you felt the sharp pain running along your skull, a thick drop of blood making its way down from a strand of hair into your left eye. Plus, you were pretty sure the machine had broken one of your wrists as any pressure you put onto it trying to move the machine set your nerves on fire, leaving you just your legs to try and make an escape. Turns out it’s harder than it looks to push a stupidly heavy washing machine away from you with your legs when you’re incapacitated on the floor.
Seeing your best friend the strangled woman approaching you sighed, trying to resign yourself to your fate. There was no way you were making it out without a miracle, and you were never the lucky kind. As she spotted you, you sealed your eyes tightly closed, unwilling to watch your own demise. It never came. When you chanced one eye open all you saw was sparks, the unmistakeable smell of a magnesium flare filling the room. You didn’t know what to feel. Relieved, of course, pissed off that your team had disrespected your wishes and endangered themselves, faint from the adrenaline and blood loss. Mostly faint, you decided, as you lay your head back against the tile, a sleep sounding like the nicest thing in the world suddenly.
You must have passed out for a minute or two as when you opened your eyes again you were in the air, distant voices yelling over the explosions and lights, but you felt a million miles away. You cuddled yourself into the body of whoever was carrying you — they were warm and your body felt ice cold. Everywhere you looked appeared blurry (and slightly pink, presumably from the blood in your eye), so you granted yourself some mercy and simply closed them. You thought you heard a mumbled “Hold on for me,” But you couldn’t be sure, everything was ringing in your head and the weight of staying awake was heavy on your foggy brain.
The next time you woke up was about half an hour later, or so you guessed. The sky was fractionally lighter than you remembered seeing, inching towards dawn, and you were laid down on dewey wet grass. The cool of it was nice on your skin, though you knew it would do major damage to your hair. Not that that was your greatest concern at the moment. You pushed yourself up on your elbows slowly, looking around at the scene that was coming into focus. Your team were on one side of you, looking exhausted but mostly physically fine. Straight ahead of you was Barnes, not looking as disappointed as you thought he would after a failed case. To your left was Lockwood and Co. Why were Lockwood and Co here? Why was Lockwood looking at you so intently, and why did he look like he was worried about you?
Only the first of your questions was answered. Evidently Lockwood and Co were the ‘small agency’ the hotel owners had given a chance for the smaller house on the edge of the property. They heard the commotion your team had made and Sarah’s screaming outside the kitchen door and came to save the day — of course. You were about to put up the protest that you didn’t need saving but it died in your throat when you saw the serious looks of everyone around you. Clearly this wasn’t the time for any of your bullshit.
“Clearly this case is bigger than your team can achieve,” Barnes said, and the fire was reignited within you. He must have been able to see what you were going to say and cut you off, “But I’m not taking you off the case.”
“Thank you,” You said quickly, tension in your shoulders releasing slightly.
“Lockwood and Co will work with you until the hotel is ghost free.”
“What?” You and Lockwood cried in unison, and you felt his eyes fall back on you. You refused to meet his gaze.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea, Sir—” You started, being cut off by Lockwood.
“We don’t work well together—”
“I happen to know you both need this case, or do you not care about the future of your jobs?” Barnes raised an eyebrow in the intimidating way only he could pull off. He had you there. Failing in a case, especially one that resulted in a near death experience would certainly jeopardise your trajectory at Fittes, and, unbeknownst to you, Lockwood and Co were pretty desperate for some good representation, unable to receive the praise deserved from the Combe Carey Hall case. You looked at Lockwood to find him already searching your face. After a moment of silent arguing between the two of you, you turned back to face Barnes, exaggerated smiles on both your faces.
“We’ll do it.” You smiled sweetly. A few more formalities sent Barnes and the other DEPRAC officer off, and only the two teams were left standing around, shifting uncomfortably under the weight of all the kit bags.
“So what do we do now?” Sarah asked, a thought very similar to the ones bouncing around your head at the moment.
“Breakfast?” George suggested, and you didn’t think you’d ever seen your team agree to something so enthusiastically. The group of you all headed back to the train station, but Lockwood didn’t let you continue in the line to get your ticket. Instead he pulled you away from the crowd, seeming to have already told Lucy what was happening, judging from her cheerful wave goodbye.
You glared at him, yanking your arm away then groaning at the pain.
“What are we doing, Lockwood?” You asked with an exaggerated huff.
“We’re going to the hospital,” He said, unbothered by your protests. “And don’t say you’re fine because it’s clear you’re injured. I’d say a broken wrist, concussion and maybe a cracked rib, but we can let the doctors tell us I’m wrong, I’d be happy for them to tell you otherwise.” That shut you up, not least because you knew he was probably right. You’d been given a shot of adrenaline and a few painkillers by the DEPRAC officer who accompanied Barnes over, but you probably did need actual medical attention.
It was a very awkward cab ride to the local hospital. You and Lockwood were so used to arguing by now that silence felt like the only other viable option. You couldn’t make small talk, what would you even talk about? The only thing you knew about his life was his childhood, and you sure as hell weren’t gonna talk about that. The tension was palpable in the backseat, and when the cab driver wished you good luck for the hospital visit, you figured he didn’t just mean because of your injuries. You did force yourself to thank Lockwood when he paid for the ride though, even if it was just for the sake of the day moving on faster.
At least the waiting room created its own noise; beeping and chattering and footsteps filling the silence between you two. You struggled with the form in front of you, inconveniently having your dominant hand be out of working order. You painfully etched out your information over an embarrassing amount of time before Lockwood huffed loudly and snatched the clipboard from your lap.
“Fuck’s sake,” He muttered, pulling his own pen from his suit pocket, beginning to scribble down the answers for you. You just relaxed, your tired, drug-addled brain being allowed to rest for a moment. It wasn’t until he asked about your health insurance that you fully realised he was answering the questions by memory and forced your eyes to focus on the paper. Sure enough he’d gotten it all right, birthday and middle name included. You glanced up at him curiously, but it seemed like this was the moment he refused to make eye contact. You only had to inform him of things that had changed since you’d fallen out, neither of you verbalising that fact.
Things didn’t change when you were called into the doctor’s office either. The mix of pain, medicine and sleep deprivation led you to embrace the exam table and bordered on falling asleep as Lockwood talked for you. He’d gotten the rundown of the actual events from Sarah and his brief moments when he saved you, and explained the night as you got an x-ray for your hand. Plus, as you were waiting for the cast (it was, in fact, broken), he explained your previous medical history — the knee you dislocated when you were nine and the broken pinky finger from the year after. You only had to participate to explain the injuries you’d acquired during your career as an agent; the ones from after you and Lockwood stopped being friends.
The whole trip was extremely bizarre and slightly unnerving, and you were glad to get on the train on the way back.
“You were wrong about one thing,” You said, pulling out your walkman from your kit bag.
“And what’s that?” Lockwood asked, and you got the impression he was bracing to be yelled at again — you felt almost bad.
“No cracked rib for me.” You grinned, beginning to laugh uncharacteristically. You didn’t know why, it really wasn’t that funny, but Lockwood followed suit soon after. The two of you laughed borderline hysterically, much too energetic for that hour of the morning when everyone else was still heading to work. It only tapered off when your poor ribs couldn’t take it anymore (not broken but aggressively bruised), and the two of you fell back into silence. You had your music and Lockwood had a magazine you suspected he’d stolen from the A+E waiting room.
The only other time you spoke during the trip was when you summoned the courage to utter a somewhat genuine “Thank you.”
“What?”
“Thanks. For not letting me die. And stuff.”
“Oh. You’re welcome,” Lockwood shot you a smile, the glowing kind you rarely got to see anymore.
As you got back to London and closer to Portland Row where your team was waiting, the air seemed to get thicker between the two of you once again. Maybe it was the proximity to the things that had torn you apart or the sense that you had predefined roles to play, but the carefree air between you had dissipated, leaving only the familiar tension that had been building over the last four years.
You followed Lockwood inside, trying to hide the out of body experience you were having returning to his family home after so many years. It had changed a little, of course, but still felt overwhelmingly the same, which both scared and comforted you. All the freaky foreign ghost hunting objects still littered the shelves, and you took the liberty of admiring them once again, remembering the stories Lockwood’s parents would tell about them and the adventures they’d had when collecting them. In your periphery you saw Lockwood hurriedly grab something off the wall by the stairs, shoving it in a drawer, but you really had no interest, choosing instead to reacquaint yourself with the house. The glimpse you got up the stairs showed a myriad of framed pictures of Lockwood and you scoffed — of course his ego would be on full display within his own home.
⋆ ˚。 ⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚。 ⋆
It was surprisingly easy to get into the groove of working with Lockwood and Co. Obviously you already liked George and Lucy, but your team seemed to work unexpectedly well with theirs. You and Lockwood stayed out of each other’s ways, the few times you were left to work together resulting in another stupid argument. The first time when you thought he was calling you dumb, the second over something minuscule; who’d let the tea brew too long so it tasted shit. And then who had to subsequently get up and make the next pot. Despite both of you honestly trying to be professional and get on with the job, it was agreed by everyone that it was simply easiest to keep the two of you apart as much as possible.
However, when the hotel owners wanted the leaders of both teams to meet up for updates on the case, you couldn’t get out of it. The day wasn’t looking good. You’d shown up to Portland Row so you could get a cab together — the meeting being dinner in central London, and had already argued with him over his choice of socks. In your defence, the powder blue socks matching your dress did make it look like you were a high school couple trying to match at a formal! However, George had rolled his eyes and pushed the two of you back out and towards the waiting cab, effectively ending that argument. You’d also teased Lockwood for bringing his rapier to a business dinner, but that was neither here nor there.
You’d held it together for most of the dinner, both of you putting on your best fronts and using your most formal tones to convince the elder couple that you were confident about the case. You found yourself kicking his shins to stop Lockwood from making promises you couldn’t keep regarding the case, and he got you back with condescending remarks, correcting you when he disagreed with how you presented the case. Altogether though you thought you were pretty subtle, and the two of you were presenting a model image of your respective companies.
However, when you shot Lockwood one of your saccharine smiles under the pretence of friendliness — he’d just undermined your authority again and stolen the best piece of dessert that you were going for, as if he didn’t torture you enough — you were shocked to hear the woman across from you laugh.
“It’s so wonderful to see you two bicker like an old married couple,” She giggled, and both you and Lockwood’s jaws dropped. “I mean, it just seems so dismal to be dating in these times, but you two give me hope that the future generations will still be able find love despite the Problem.”
“And clearly you’re both sensible kids, which is very important for a lasting relationship. Working for two different agencies would surely diffuse tensions around all those dangerous missions and such you agents partake in — except for this one, of course,” Her husband chimed in, jolly glint in his eyes.
“Yes, yes, but it’s important to remember to be kids as much as you can. But you two playing footsies all night has proved that you’ve got that covered too. Silliness is just as crucial as being sensible, it’s how a marriage stays fun. We would know, we’ve had fifty odd years of it!”
You didn’t know how to react, and by the looks of it, Lockwood didn’t know either with his signature smile frozen on his face. First of all, you were not playing footsies with Anthony Lockwood — the bruise forming under his trouser leg was testament to that. Second of all, you had no idea how the woman could get your dynamic so incredibly wrong. Aside from all of Lockwood’s double edged comments and cocky corrections of basically anything you said, the two of you had hardly addressed each other directly all night, you might as well have been strangers!
The dinner wrapped up very soon after. The couple had taken a liking to you both and so trusted your teams to handle the case as you saw fit, only making you promise to take a romantic weekend getaway (or honeymoon! As the woman had remarked optimistically) to the hotel once it was completely ghost-free and renovated. For once you were glad that Lockwood was unable to ever shut up as he took the lead, seeming to believe that corroborating their assumption was the best choice in your situation. You weren’t sure you were entirely comfortable with lying to this sweet old couple, but you couldn’t deny that Lockwood was a better talker than you, and would probably handle the situation with more delicacy.
That was how you ended up being led out of the restaurant with Lockwood’s hand on the small of your back. You wondered if he’d ever done this before, and you didn’t know if you meant for a real or pretend relationship. You both said your goodbyes to the couple, flattered by the abundance of compliments they paid you — both personally and professionally, assuring you they were overjoyed to have your teams work the case. Just before they stepped into the cab the woman took you aside.
“Hold onto a boy who looks at you like that,” She said, “You might fight, but when he’s this in awe of you, you’ll find a way to make it work.” You didn’t know how to respond to that and so simply nodded, offering a weak smile as she slid into the back seat of the taxi.
That left you and Lockwood alone. You just looked at each other for a moment, unsure of how to proceed.
“Do you mind if we walk home? I really fancy some air right now.” Lockwood easily agreed, looking rather flustered himself, and off the two of you went into the night.
Neither of you spoke for a while, but you could tell he wanted to. Lockwood always chewed his lip when he was holding something back, he had since he was a child. You sighed and asked him, knowing it was the only way to make the habit go away.
“Nothing,” He said, “Just weird. Don’t you think?”
“Nah,” You lied, “Old people just say things like that all the time. They don’t care to know the full picture.”
“Which is?”
“We hate each other.” Hurt flashed through his eyes, but it didn’t make you feel as good as it did the first time you’d said it.
“I don’t hate you,” He said quietly, almost a whisper.
“What?”
“I don’t hate you. We don’t get along anymore, but I don’t hate you. I hope you know that.” You faltered for a second. Had his use of ‘anymore’ been intentional to create a stabbing feeling in your gut?
“Oh. I guess I don’t really hate you either, if we’re getting sappy about it.” You tried to diffuse the tension growing between you, not wanting it to evolve into a discussion about what estranged you in the first place. Lockwood refused to apologise and you refused to forget, resulting in the bitter stalemate you’d been locked in for the past few years.
Your distraction came with a glance over Lockwood’s shoulder, and the wisp of a phantom coming into view. Lockwood was trying to continue the conversation about your developing relationship, but stopped when he noticed you frozen beside him. Turning slowly he swore when he saw the ghost, going straight for his rapier.
“Put your hand into my coat pocket,” He said, effectively drawing you from your freeze.
“Excuse me?” You whisper-yelled, not in the mood for him to try and lighten the mood with whatever dumb joke he was trying to make.
“Just trust me, I have flares in the inside pocket, just reach in and grab them to defend yourself whilst I keep an eye on them.” Them? You wondered until you looked around, seeing other ghosts start to emerge from the shadows, attracted by the scene you were obviously creating. You wasted no more time, ignoring the intimacy of reaching into Lockwood’s jacket, grabbing yourself a flare for each hand. With you accounted for, Lockwood told you the plan, he’d fight a path back to Portland Row and you’d cover the both of you with the flares, since you weren’t good for very much else with a broken wrist and no rapier.
It was hardly the most intense situation you or Lockwood had been in, but as the primary fighter in the situation, Lockwood was still putting up a good show of skill. Despite yourself you were entranced, admiring the graceful way he moved with the rapier, so in tune with it you’d think it was connected to his arm. As much as you hated Lockwood — well, you’d just established you didn’t actually hate him. As much as you thought he was egotistical and irritating, you had to admit that you really admired him as an agent. Lockwood was undeniably talented with a rapier — it was the fencing competition that got him started in this business in the first place — but to watch him in action was really something special. If you didn’t know better you’d think it was easy for him, he fought with the same ease and elegance he might drink a cup of tea.
You were so caught up in watching him that you hardly noticed when you arrived in front of 35 Portland Row, both luckily un-ghost touched. You were also alerted to the proximity you’d found yourself in. You’d stayed close obviously, not wanting to be left to the ghosts, but when Lockwood had turned to make sure you were still with him safely inside the iron fence, you found yourself only inches apart.
At this distance you were alerted to just how much he’d changed since you were kids. He was taller, obviously, your chin tilted up to make eye contact. He’d lost the baby fat that used to fill out his cheeks, leaving his face defined and bordering on gaunt — you figured he wasn’t taking very good care of himself, judging on the dark circles that seemed by now permanent. Plus something had changed in his eyes. He didn’t look carefree anymore, something dark and tortured lay behind the charming smiles. It wasn’t hard to guess what it was, and you figured you probably had something identical. However, the small scar on his jawline from when you accidentally flung a plastic toy into his face was still there which drew a small smile from you. Something within you urged to run your finger along it, and you felt your fingers twitch before you realised how inappropriate it was. That instinct didn’t feel so bad though when you caught Lockwood’s gaze shift down to your lips. Only momentarily, but you saw it. And worse? The fact that you didn’t mind. After all of these years and the fighting and terrible words shared, here you were maybe about to kiss Anthony Lockwood. You would be disgusted with yourself if you didn’t have so many other feelings fighting their way to the top.
The front door opening was enough to make you both jump apart, you rushing towards it to get as far from Lockwood as possible.
“Hey Lucy!” You called, practically floating up the front steps you were going so fast.
“Uh, hey, guys. We thought we heard you outside so I got sent to check. Had to make sure you weren’t secretly making out or something,” She joked and you forced out a laugh, far too loud to be real.
“As if! Come on, I’m dying for some tea.” You slid past her, rushing straight to the kitchen for a minute to think.
Lucy watched you go suspiciously, before turning to Lockwood.
“What did you do?” She interrogated, all her scary Lucy-ness coming out.
“I don’t know,” Lockwood replied earnestly, still somewhat dazed himself. Lucy gave him one last look up and down before returning inside, leaving Lockwood to fix his smile on before rejoining the two teams.
⋆ ˚。 ⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚。 ⋆
The week leading up to your team’s next attempt at the hotel was extremely weird. You and Lockwood hadn’t spoken about what had happened (or almost happened) out in the front garden, but you had had a long talk about your behaviour lately. Over a few cups of tea in the kitchen whilst the rest of your teams were working down in the basement, you managed to both admit you were being dickheads. There was no mention of the underlying factors of your resentment, but you both agreed for the sake of your jobs you would try and be friends, or at least civil. No more bickering, no more picking apart small comments, no more rolling eyes.
It worked for a bit, which was really complicating your emotions. On the one hand, Lockwood was lovely, like he’d always been, and it was kind of nice to be able to talk and joke with him again after so many years, although you both carefully avoided the topic of your personal lives. On the other hand, it made you sad to pretend that everything was fine when you knew what you did. He didn’t think you could be an agent; Lockwood didn’t think you were good enough. And you could both pretend all you liked to be friends, but as long as that was what he thought about you it could never be real. So, while you’d both stopped your rivalry on the surface and gotten on with the case, there was a tension bubbling behind your smiles that both of you could see whenever you locked eyes.
It all came to a head when you started discussing your action plan for the hotel. All seven of you were standing in the basement of Portland Row, staring at a blown up floor plan of the place, little figurines representing each of you. It didn’t take you long to realise that you weren’t being represented.
“Where am I?” You asked, an uneasy silence falling over the room.
“You’re not coming.” Lockwood took the fall, even though it had been a unanimous decision whilst you were on an Arif’s run one afternoon.
“Excuse me?” You couldn’t help the biting tone in your words, fury you’d worked hard to conceal bubbling back up to the surface.
“Your wrist—” Sarah tried to reason, but something in you had unlocked and you were not backing down this time.
“You and I know full well if this was a Fittes case I would still be out in the field, broken wrist be damned,” You spat, and you could practically see the gears turning in Lockwood and Lucy’s heads.
“They make you go into the field injured?” Lucy asked, but you weren’t focused on answering her — George nodded for you.
“So who’s barred me from being in the field, on what I might remind you, was my case first.” There were a few moments of silence where no one wanted to be the subject of your anger, but with a resigned sigh, Lockwood accepted the blame.
“It was my idea.” You couldn’t help the frustrated groan that came out of your mouth.
“God, this is so typical! You’ve never thought I was good enough, and now what? Sabotaging my cases? My career? Because you don’t believe in me,” Your voice broke on the last sentence, and you could feel the tears heavy behind your eyes, threatening to fall. You spat a final “Fuck you,” before running up the basement stairs, up to where you knew the bathroom would be for some privacy.
You realised when you were at the top of the stairs that in your time working with Lockwood and Co you hadn’t actually used their bathroom, and didn’t remember which of the closed doors it was. Choosing one blindly you shut yourself inside, finally letting the tears that blurred your vision roll down your cheeks.
You sobbed heavily, indulging all the terrible feelings you’d been concealing for far too long. When the tears weren’t so frequent the setting around you came back into focus, and you noticed with a start you definitely weren’t in the bathroom. The view from the window told you it was Lockwood’s late parent’s bedroom, but the used furniture and messy bed said someone was still living there. Your stomach dropped as you stood, wiping the tears from your eyes. Looking around you were sure this was Lockwood’s room, the suit jacket on the desk chair a dead giveaway. However, a picture frame on his nightstand attracted your attention the most. It was the same one you had in your dorm at Fittes, the one gifted to you by Lockwood’s parents for your birthday. Both of you grinning widely and carelessly joyful. It had been so long since you’d felt like that, even longer since you’d felt it around Lockwood. The thought made your heart ache a bit. His parents would be so disappointed in the two of you. That made you start crying a little again, picking up the photo to examine it closer.
“It’s been there since you left,” A voice from behind you said. “I couldn’t bring myself to put it away.” You hadn’t noticed Lockwood come in and you didn’t know how long he’d been standing there. You put the photo down with a start, turning away to wipe your face dry again.
“Go away, Lockwood. Just give me a minute and I’ll be back downstairs. I overreacted but I need to get over it, okay?” You snapped, praying your face wasn’t still red and splotchy (it was).
“No,” He said, and you turned to face him curiously. “Look, this has gone on long enough and we need to fix things.” You crossed your arms petulantly, a silent challenge for him to fix the damage you believed to be all his. “You said downstairs that I thought you couldn’t be an agent. Why?”
“Don’t you remember when I told you I wanted to be an agent like you?” You scoffed, “You all but laughed in my face! You said I couldn’t do it, that I’d be injured or killed and I couldn’t handle it. I’ve thought about that every case since, you killed my self esteem for years. I thought that if no one else, my best friend should have believed in me. But here I am, youngest team leader at Fittes with the highest successful case rate for my division. All in spite of you.” Lockwood stared at you, and you could practically see his neurons firing and making connections at a million miles an hour.
“That’s not what I said.” You could barely contain your bitter laugh.
“Does it matter? You didn’t believe in me, that’s what’s important.”
“No,” He said, “Because that’s not what I meant at all. I did believe in you — I do. I always have.” You scoffed again as he stumbled over his words. A little grovelling now couldn’t make up for all the years of anxiety and insecurity he’d caused.
“I mean it! If I didn’t believe in you, then what’s all this?” He led you to one of his dresser drawers. Opening it there were a stack of papers and you picked a few of them up, flipping through them. Every single one was about you. Photos from your childhood together, newspaper clippings of your successes throughout the years, the magazine article you interviewed for talking about women in power in the ghost hunting field. Lockwood had saved every piece of media about you, the ragged edges showing he’d ripped them out just to keep them. You remained silent, astonished by this new revelation. You looked up at him, and Lockwood could have cried at the look in your eyes.
“I didn’t say you couldn’t be an agent,” He explained, “Or that’s not what I meant. I meant that you shouldn’t, or more clearly, I was saying don’t. Asking. Don’t you remember? My parents were dead, my sister had just died. You were all I had left, and I didn’t want you to jump head first into the most dangerous job in the world. I wanted to protect you.” It was Lockwood’s turn for his voice to break and tears to arise, and you suddenly felt supremely stupid.
“Oh,” Was all you could say. After all of these years; the insults thrown and dirty looks exchanged, all your anger came from a misunderstanding? Not only that, a misunderstanding that twisted such an earnest declaration of care into something so awful.
“But you did it, and you weren’t just any agent,” He laughed slightly despite his emotions, “You were the best bloody agent Fittes has ever seen and all I could do was watch from the shadows and be proud of you silently. Why do you think Lucy knew who you were already? There were pictures of you all over the house before I made them take them all down when I knew we were working together. I didn’t want to scare you off.”
“But all the arguing…” You trailed off, still unable to completely process this information.
“Just because I love you doesn’t mean you don’t drive me up the wall, especially when you were being — or I believed you were — deliberately obtuse to my efforts to explain myself. But now I see we were just on totally different wavelengths.” You were really struggling, there was a lot of new information being revealed at such a rapid pace that was completely changing your perspective on your whole adolescence.
“You love me?” Lockwood did laugh this time, loudly and with the same charm he usually had.
“Yes, you idiot. I have since we were kids.”
Oh. Oh. You suddenly felt like an idiot. All of this time you thought that Lockwood believed you were weak, not good enough, not worthy of your successes, when in fact it was the complete opposite. And then you thought about how you felt about Lockwood. How his believed lack of faith in you affected you so much because you cared so deeply about what he thought of you. How you could never bring yourself to look away when he was fighting because he was so completely in his element. How nice it had been to be able to joke around with him during your research. Oh God. You thought you simply respected him and his skills as an agent, but evidently the truth had been just out of reach your whole life.
“Anthony?” He was already looking at you, eyes searching deep into your soul. “I think I might love you too.” Neither of you could help the kiddish smiles making their way on your faces, and he wrapped his arms around you tightly before you knew what was happening. It felt nice to be held by him again, the last time would have been after his sister died. These were much better circumstances.
When you both came down the stairs later, no one mentioned your intertwined hands. You all had a lovely dinner at Portland Row, warmth and laughter filling the space and making you feel at home like you used to when you were a kid.
It wasn’t until you were on your way back to the Fittes dorms that Sarah leaned over to you, mischievous grin on her face.
“Tell me you were making out up there, please,” She giggled, and you shoved her away lightheartedly.
“Shut up,” You laughed, “Besides, it wasn’t making out.”

♡ champion focus: kayn ♡ tw: npd, yandere ♡ Gender-neutral reader
Author's Note: Your request made me laugh so hard that I had to respond as soon as possible LOLOL ૮꒰⸝⸝> ̫ <⸝⸝꒱ა I'm always down for writing toxic yandere boys! So let's get into Kayn ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡ Enjoy!
Tumblr media
Most days, you couldn't help but feel like you were trapped in a relationship with Kayn. Yes, you loved him, hell you even accepted him the way he was... But really, that was only because you feared what he could if you did try to speak up.
The warning signs were always there- People constantly reminding you... no, warning you that Kayn was toxic. But, you chose to ignore them. You wanted to believe there was some degree of good inside of Kayn. You wanted to love him like no one did before. You tried to convince yourself that you could even change him!
However, seeing Kayn in all his selfish, narcissistic colors made you realize far too late that you were stuck with him... and Kayn loved the power he had over you.
He loved having control over your shared relationship and felt like he could do as he pleased whenever he pleased. Time and time again Kayn would exercise unscrupulous control and influence over you. And you let him.
The control issues Kayn harbored at the beginning of your relationship were small. So much so, that you believed he was just obsessive-compulsive. He spoke devilish whispers that persuaded you to do things you would never do. He had you wrapped around his finger. He had you in his possession. His trap.
And as the devil's web unwound, it was only a matter of time before he was only just beginning to control every aspect of your life, from deciding what you wore out to events together to who you spoke to.
"I saw Aphelios looking at you the other day. You shouldn't trust him. You never know what the intentions of the quiet ones are..."
"I heard what Yone said to you the other day. You shouldn't listen to him... He has no idea how happy we are together!"
"I don't want you talking to Ezreal anymore!"
While the rest of the band felt it was wrong to enable Kayn, they kept quiet. They kept their distance when you all were alone. Because Kayn knew as much about them as he knew about you. And Kayn wasn't afraid to abuse the information he knew he sabotage all of them if they crossed him and his relationship.
The only sigh of relief you ever had was when the group performed interviews out of the country. Even though you could tag along, you chose not to. You made the excuse that you had work, and that saved you every time. Work was the only thing you had in your life that gave you some sense of control. Kayn couldn't take that away from you... yet, at least.
"Why aren't you texting me back? Are you listening to me?!" "Answer right now!!" "You're seriously going to put your phone on mute this long?! Who the hell do you think you are?!!" "Fine then. You did this to yourself. Keep that in mind." "LMAO" "When I get back you better hope that I'm fucking happy!!"
And he made sure to let the world know how frustrated he was.
"So Kayn, how is your relationship with your partner? You both are still together right?!" The interviewer happily questioned, your boyfriend playing the part, showing off that devilishly smug smile in front of his awestruck audience.
It made you feel sick to your stomach. It made you dread what he was about to say and what he could say.
"Oh, we are! Things between us are better than ever. We're both so happy..." His smile fell. "But..." He began to brood, looking off to the side for a moment. The audience ate up his vulnerability.
"They get so busy with work sometimes. I just wish they could respond to me sooner! Babe, if you're watching this, answer me!! Ahahaha!!" His smile returned, the others trying to hide their discomfort with joyful laughter.
"Well, I'm sure they'll be happy to see you when you get back Kayn. Don't be so discouraged!" The interviewer reassured him, Kayn rubbing the back of his neck, staring forward at the camera. Staring forward at you.
That was the telltale sign: That you were absolutely, most positively, fucked.

i love your writing and characters so much, like your ideas are too interesting! and i love the way you write spitfire mc's, the ones that are more pissy about their situation than scared lolol
If you're still taking requests could you possibly do a third part to the hero? i love that guy tasman, and if you wanted to, include some non-con? i just feel like at this point he's gotta be up to his wits end of being patient, especially if his little captive is still ogling the window like they're more interested in those trees than talking to him, or even still thinking of trying something sneaky.
keep up the amazing work, i hope all your bubble baths are very relaxing and your water is always crisp
awwww! thanks so much for the kind words. i do like writing reactions in different ways and i don't know if it's just me but i find it much more satisfying when a yan is forced to bend you to his will, ya know? don't want to make his job too easy ;)
TW: non-con, more lime than lemon, violence, domestic abuse, threats, mentions nudity, abs NO minors —
He was sitting on the bed, head resting on clasped hands, watching you. It would’ve made you uncomfortable, but then again, air existed. It was nothing to get upset about.
You were pretending he didn’t exist and it was going pretty well considering his anger issues could destroy the world if they went unchecked. But he was sitting there, silently drilling holes into your body for the last couple of hours.
He’d made attempts to appease you, attempts that had failed the moment he tried because he didn’t exist.
Food would appear out of thin air and you would look at it before turning your head and continuing to gaze out of the window.
Flies would buzz around your ears. You weren’t sure how they got inside considering the window was sealed shut with magic, but you swatted them away nonetheless.
You didn’t turn your head at the sound of his fist balling, sounding as if he broke every bone in each of his fingers. You steeled yourself so you wouldn’t flinch away or react. You wouldn’t give him the time of day.
“Is this tantrum meant to get underneath my skin? You should know better than to test my patience. Acting like a rebellious child won’t achieve the results you expect.”
A rebellious child. What an amazing thing to call the lover whose attention you’re so desperate for. As for getting underneath his skin, his reaction proved this was an effective method to get him angry. It isn’t like you hadn’t known before. Tasman hated being ignored.
You’d pretended to give him the silent treatment after a mini dispute when the two of you were arguing when you were younger and he’d followed you around the village, asking if you were angry with him repeatedly past the disappearance of the sun. His young worried face was too pitiful to ignore, but you sensed something ominous the longer you refused to speak to him.
The two of you grew up together. If he though you didn’t know about the things he liked and disliked, he was sorely mistaken.
Getting comfortable as you gazed out in the distance to view the vast forest beyond the city made him clench his jaw so tightly you thought he’d break it. You had to tell yourself not to smile, but it was hard to resist a slight quirk at the edge of your lips.
“I am trying my best to give you what you want. As long as you don’t ask for ridiculous things, I can award the world to you. Please, just talk to me.”
As if your freedom was a menial desire. You no longer had the ability to choose what you ate, what you wore, whether or not you went outside, all things you’d surely taken for granted before you were whisked away to this sacred cell of his. It might’ve seemed ridiculous to argue about what you decided to wear or whether or not you were going to eat, but at the end of the day they were the only options you had.
Your basic liberty was seen as a luxury, as something that only he could grant if you were on your best behavior and it made you want to gouge his eyes out for acting as if he was being so benignant.
A small huff was all you let out in response to his words, telling yourself not to let him anger you, you tried thinking of what you would do if you got the chance to start over. Would you live on a farm? Maybe marry and help your significant other with their responsibilities whether they be a restaurant owner with an inn or a blacksmith that managed swords for new and upcoming adventurers. You didn’t think you could be a scholar. Not that your intelligence was inadequate, on the contrary. It would’ve been your first choice in terms a well-paying job if you weren’t afraid of feeling suffocated in the offices scholars tended to inhabit.
You had enough of enclosed spaces. Working on a farm could provide the fresh air you desperately yearned for and smithing while running a shop would provide you with plenty of opportunities to meet people from all sorts of backgrounds. Both would be hard work. Especially if you compared the leisurely role as the hero’s hostage where you could be waited on hand and foot if you so desired, but you’d take anything if it meant a life beyond his obsessive desperation.
Knocked out of your daydream by the sound of footsteps coming closer to where you were, you tensed when he sat beside you, his body pressing into your side as he begged for your eyes.
“Can’t you see that I’m doing my best?” His hand tentatively touched your back before he slowly wrapped it around waist, eyes sliding slowly to your lips and then your neck.
How long had it been since you’d allowed him near you. You were hell bent on scratching at him like a feral animal whenever he came near, both with your hands and words so he’d wanted to give you space to soothe your anger, but the longer he kept his distance, the more you required from him.
Shying away from his touch when he wanted to embrace you, his eyes when the two of you took meals together, his words when he professed his love for you. It was a wonder that you let him as close as you did in this moment.
Pulling you closer, he whispered, “I’m trying.” before placing lips on your neck, bordering on your collarbone, as his hands squeezed your side.
His desire for you hadn’t waned in the slightest.
Tasman believed after so many lives and time apart his desperate craving would have been relieved, but it had only grown stronger. He was plagued with thoughts of your body writhing underneath his, wondering how your skin would feel as his rough hands fought to be gentle. How each and every inch of you would taste, whispering how he’d take his time to memorize everything, from the way you moved to the sounds you would make.
How you would look…
Head snapping to him, the hopeful sentiment splintered at the sight of utter revulsion in your eyes.
Shielding his broken heart with anger, he grabbed the collar of your shirt before you could move away and pinned you against the window.
“What are you hiding?” he asked, voice seething as he regarded you suspiciously.
You were frozen in shock, unsure where this outburst came from. One moment, he was attempting seduce you, the next he was angry, practically choking you as he shoved you against the magic enforced glass.
“You’ve never been this quiet and the minute I get close you try to move away, did someone give you something to leave me? A key?”
He began pulling at your clothes, shocking you further as the fabric began to rip away, beginning to expose every inch of your body.
“A magic circle?”
His accusations continued and despite you breaking your silence to yell for him to stop, pushing him away, and holding on to the clothes he began to remove, he refused until your clothes were in a tattered heap on the floor.
Shielding your nudity, you glared at him, his cold gaze regarded you closely.
“You’re crazy.” you told him, trying to keep your voice from wavering from the sheer embarrassment and shame you felt from not being able to stop him.
He was the hero. Your strength was comparable to a grain of sand if he was your opponent, but the rationalization didn’t make you feel any better.
His eyes seemed to soften at your words, becoming more focused but not completely losing the haze they confined.
“I’m sorry,” he began, “But you have to understand my hesitancy to trust you given your actions in the past.” His eyes made you shiver at the way they roamed across your figure, looking unapologetic as studied you, eyes lingering in the areas you shielded.
“Get out.” you said through gritted teeth, unable to shake the ugly discomfort in your gut.
You needed him to leave. He had to go if you were going to feel comfortable and safe.
“This is my room as well.”
“Get. Out.”
“I understand that my reaction may have been a bit rough, but there is no reason for you to be upset to this degree. If you had simply talked to me, it wouldn’t have come to this.”
Standing up, you couldn’t stop yourself from getting into his face as you yelled, “Get out, you asshole!”
A hand wrapped around your waist, pulling you closer as lips were suddenly on yours. You struggled against his hold, momentarily forgetting to shield yourself as your fists beat against his body, attempting to shove him off of you or arch your body away from his kiss, but he followed you.
Your voice was muffled by the tongue that attempted to slither its way past your defenses, feeling hot as it battled your for dominance yet strangely like iron when you attempted to crush your teeth around it. Pain reverberated through your skull and Tasman took you momentary docility as an opportunity to take things further.
Pulling you to the bed, he continued to kiss you passionately, flinging away his gloves as his hand roamed from your chest to harshly squeezing your ass before rubbing your legs and stroking your inner thigh.
You felt him smile in the kiss when he felt your body trembling, your glare slowly melding with fear the longer his assault continued without pause.
When he finally  backed away, you were breathing hard and in an attempt to catch your breath, your chest heaving from the lack of oxygen.
Tasman smiled, satisfied with the way you responded, he began to slide a wandering hand up and up your leg. Fingers calloused from continuous monster subjugation, you flinched away from his unrepentant touch before your hand intercepted his before he got too close.
“Tasman, stop. Get off of me.”
Looking into your eyes, you wanted to shrivel at the sight of his glare.
Why did you continue to push him away‽
Gripping your forearms, he forced them to the bed as he got in your face.
“Is there some other bastard you’d prefer to be doing this with?”
What?
“I didn’t think to have the barrier react if you got too close to someone else. I didn’t think I’d have to worry about anyone from our village unless you’d managed to attract some useless noble up here.”
“There’s no one.” you said, deciding against lying and saying you did have a secret lover in case he burned the capital down looking for them.
“You’re lying.” he said, squeezing your arms tighter as he glared at you.
You were tired of hearing things like that from him of all people.
“How am I supposed to meet someone if you keep me locked in this room‽” you shouted, struggling beginning anew. If it bothered him, he didn’t say anything about it.
“You’d find a way.” he said, releasing one of your arms to caress your face. “You simply love torturing me.”
His thumb brushed against your lip, a hidden desire springing to life as his eyes met yours.
“If you’re telling the truth, I can’t understand why you’re being obstinate about this.”
Leaning closer, he brought his lips to the space just below your ear as he placed a chaste kiss there. “I simply want to make the person I love feel good.” he said, voice taking on a sultry tone.
If it had been three lifetimes ago, you would’ve considered it.
If it’d been the year before he barged into your escape and confined you after, you might’ve considered it.
Even as every piece of your heart rejected him, your soul was desperately pleading for you to forgive him, to take this opportunity to climb into his arms and love him how you were always meant to, but you wouldn’t.
You wouldn’t disgrace the you who’d discovered what heartbreak was after a first, second, and third failed love. You wouldn’t betray the you whose hands had grown old and wrinkled, waiting for something that would never come. You wouldn’t forgive him as long as he continued to act as if he had done nothing wrong while demanding you give him your everything, everything you would’ve happily handed over if he’d considered what it felt like to be repeatedly betrayed by the very person your soul constantly cried out for.
“I don’t ever want to see you again.”
He froze, fear coiling around your insides at the expression on his face that you couldn’t see. His hand loosened around your forearm, gripping the bed, you thought he was finally coming to his senses before you heard the bed creak.
The suffocating weight of his magic presence hit you a moment later, making you want to gag, but a hand clamped around your mouth, forcing your head to the bed before you could turn over and dry heave.
“Lover, how cruel.”
He looked at you with an expression that you couldn’t distinguish as anger or sorrow, but it was terrifying.
His mouth made its way to your neck, kissing you sensually before his teeth buried themselves into your skin, drawing blood and eliciting a muffled scream from you at the vicious way his teeth pierced your body.
Your hands tried to push him away, both wrapping around his wrist to uncover his hand from your mouth, but he ignored your attempts. Turning your head to the side, his ran his tongue across the teeth marks he made, pouring enough magic into the wound so it would stop bleeding, but not enough to get rid of the mark or alleviate the pain you felt.
“I love you.” he sighed, his hand coming up as he caressed the side of your body, resting before his thumb caressed your nipple.
You gaped at him with petrified eyes, unable to move at the cold gaze he stared you down with as he continued to press chaste kisses into your neck, trailing to your chest.
He removed his hand from your mouth, using both to focus on teasing your body.
“T-Tasman,” you began in a quiet voice, but the look in his eyes silenced you.
“Shhhh.”
Tipping your head up by your chin, he pecked you on the lips before placing a kiss on your nose and forehead.
“I’m just going to show you how much I love and I want peace and quiet, okay?”
Memories of a barn flooded your mind as you thought back to your younger days when you had last tried to use the silent treatment with Tasman. Bruised hands held together above your head, hay prickling your skin, and heavy breathing from above.
“Not a single word, lover.”
Tasman had never reacted well to the silent treatment.

word count 235
“y/n?” you freeze a little when someone calls out your name. next to you chishiya grabs your hand, already scanning the restaurant for a quick exit. a young girl walks over, nervously holding her phone in her hands as she bows. “i’m a big fan.”
“hi,” you smile.
“i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to intrude, i just wanted to say hi,” she smiles. “your music means a lot to me. it’s really helped me though a lot of tough times, so i wanted to thank you.”
“oh, thank you so much,” you smile. chishiya keeps a careful watch on you as you step forwards to let the girl hesitantly hug you. the blush on her face makes you chuckle. “i’m glad my work has been able to help you so much.”
she smiles, pulling out a piece of paper and a pen. “i know we can’t take a picture, but can i have your autograph?”
“of course!” you quickly scribble down your name onto the paper before handing it back to her.
“thank you so much,” she bows again. “it was great meeting you!”
“you too,” you smile.
chishiya gently squeezes your hand from across the table. he chuckles when you look back up at him. “that went really well.”
“it did! i wasn’t expecting anyone to recognize me.”
“you should get used to it,” he laughs. “you can only grow from here.”

Tumblr media

“i still can’t believe you got us backstage passes,” chota chuckles, pulling at the lanyard around his neck so the v.i.p. pass faces outwards.
“it wasn’t too difficult,” arisu says, following the security guard to your dressing room.
“wasn’t too difficult?” karube scoffs. “dude, y/n’s one of the most popular acts in japan right now! do you know how expensive tickets are?”
arisu laughs, leaning back against the wall as he waits for you. he can feel the bass from the speakers rattle against his chest. the feeling is exhilarating.
“thank you so much for tonight,” your voice is clear through the microphone. he can hear fans cheering, even from backstage. “i love you all!”
“ah, i’m nervous,” chota says, standing closer to karube. “i’ve never been so close to a celebrity before.”
“don’t be,” arisu pats his shoulder. “just act natural, they’ll love you.”
despite the reassurance, arisu can feel chota tensing as soon as you make your way backstage. “arisu!” you smile when you see him, rushing over to where he stands. he’s quick to wrap his arms around your waist, pulling you into a tight hug. “it’s so good to see you.”
arisu presses a kiss against your forehead, wrapping an arm around your waist before turning back to chota and karube. he laughs as they stare at him in shock. “y/n, this is karube, and chota,” he says, gesturing to each man. “guys, this is my partner, y/n.”
karube is the first to react, giving a respectful bow before holding his hand out. “karube daikichi,” he smiles. “it’s nice to meet you.”
you take his hand, nodding. chota is quick to follow, greeting you despite the blush on his cheeks. “chota segawa.”
“i’ve heard so much about you guys, it’s great to finally meet you!” arisu presses a kiss against your temple, unable to hide his excitement as he watches the love of his life interacting with his best friends.
‧₊˚✩ kuina - she surprises you at a concert
Tumblr media
word count 234
kuina jumps in her seat, watching you on the big screen. you look around the crowd in awe, scanning through the thousands of people who were willing to pay money to see you. kuina jumps even more when you spot her in the crowd. you laugh into the mic, kneeling down to your knees.
the camera pans over to her, now showing her on the big screen instead of you. she covers her face, a little embarrassed. you laugh even harder when you turn around and notice the dark blush on her cheeks. “my girlfriend is here,” you say into the microphone. “hi darling.” kuina waves her hand over her head, smiling. “can i bring her on stage?”
you look over at the crew, kneeling down to the edge. one of the security guards makes his way over to kuina, gesturing for her to step out of the crowd and move closer to the edge. you set your microphone aside, reaching your hand down to help her up onto the stage. her blush deepens when you wrap your arms around her waist, pulling her to the center. “thank you for coming,” you whisper into her neck. she wraps her arms around your neck, pressing a kiss against your cheek.
“i wouldn’t miss this for the world.”
you smile, pulling back to pull her into a sweet kiss. “i love you.”
“i love you too.”

Tumblr media
june 30th, 2021. spielberg, austria.
the club was dark and the music was loud. there were bodies pressed together, people grinding on each other. the alcohol was present and common sense was long gone.
she had been a little apprehensive at first, she wasn’t too sure about the decision to drive to the club a few miles away from their hotel, but max had convinced her. and she’d do pretty much anything if it made max happy.
it was their first time clubbing together, and she was curious to see what type of drunk max was. since they still had to drive back, and she had to be up and presentable early the next day, they had agreed to not get too drunk. but that didn’t mean that they couldn’t have fun and enjoy the night celebrating her and her achievements.
“another one?” max’s breath on her ear made her skin get goosebumps, since the music was deafeningly loud, he had to lean incredibly close to her so she could hear him. she turned around and acted as if it didn’t affect her.
“i want tequila,” she replied, standing on her tiptoes to reach his ear. she leaned back and watched a smirk appearing on his lips. since they’d arrived max had been asking her to do tequila shots with him, since he claimed he knew a perfect method for it. she’d refused, sticking to drinks that weren’t so strong. but she wanted to please him this one time.
“i knew you’d change your mind, come on,” he was quick to grab her hand and lead her away from the crowd of people dancing. they reached the bar and max asked for four tequila shots to be sent their way. they walked to their private booth, where they’d left their coats and her bag. the security guard that looked after that section let them in without too much trouble, they were the only vips of the night.
she sat down first, sliding on the seat until she was pressed between the wall and max’s body. she laughed at his actions, he was behaving like an excited, hyperactive kid. he leaned in to kiss her cheek, something he always did when they were alone. since the beginning of their friendship she started noticing that there were certain things that max only did with her. touching, or showing any type of physical affection was one of them.
she didn’t find it weird or anything, she was familiar with the different types of love language, she just figured that touching was max’s. plus, she wasn’t complaining. she liked feeling loved, and that was how max made her feel. despite the short amount of time that they’d known each other, they’d grown to call each other ‘best friends’ rather quickly.
“so, what’s this great new method you were bragging about?” she leaned close to his ear.
“ah, impatient, much?” he grinned, she rolled her eyes, nudging his ribs with her elbow. “there’s really not much of a difference. it’s salt, shot, lime,”
“you do your shots with salt and lime?” she teased, raising her eyebrows, “pussy.”
“what?” max asked, taken aback.
“the best part of tequila is the burn. the ache that makes you want more, that feels so great once it’s gone, but is what keeps you going.” she spoke about tequila like one would talk about a lover, she made it feel intimate. “but fine, we’ll try your way,”
“well now my way sounds like bullshit,” max laughed, and she chuckled, leaning her forehead against his shoulder.
“we’ll do both,” she declared, watching the bartender drop off the tray with the hard liquor. “you go first,” she encouraged him. max nodded, grabbing the salt and a slice of lime.
“your hair,” he said, she frowned, “move your hair out of the way,” she did, throwing her hair over the other shoulder. “lean back,” he told her, holding her chin and tilting her head back, exposing her neck.
“what are you doing?” she asked.
“do you trust me?”
“of course.”
in the dark of the club, max held the sour lime between his fingers, then ran it up and down her neck, twice. she gasped, and max could feel her breath hitching as he touched her. next, he grabbed the salt. he poured some over the line of lime juice he’d just drawn.
she turned her face lightly to see him. his eyebrows were drawn together in concentration, she could tell, just by the way he was pinching his lips together, that a million thoughts were running through his head.
“don’t chicken out on me now,” she said, and max let out a breath of relief, he thought maybe he’d crossed a line. yes, they were close, but they’d never done something like this.
he did it. he leaned forward, licked a stripe up her neck, felt her quickening heartbeat beneath his touch. he brought the liquor up to his lips, downing it all in one go. her soft hands grabbed the lime from his hold and lifted it up to his mouth. he sucked on it, opening his eyes after wincing as he tasted three different things in a really short time, one after the other.
she was breathing hard, staring at him, the skin of her throat was tingling, she got lost in the blue of his eyes, which under the neon lights and combined with the darkness of the room, looked crystal clear.
“you’re up,” max said, she smiled, and just like that, they were back to normal.
they stumbled into her hotel floor, max was holding her waist, keeping her stable, her legs were like jello, so she kept her back pressed against max’s chest.
“i told you…” she paused to giggle, “i couldn’t drink too much,” she smiled, slapping max’s chest lightly. he was grinning, too, he had one arm around her middle, pushing her against his front as his other hand slid inside the pocket of his jeans to grab the key to her room.
“and i told you to quit after shot number three,” he raised an eyebrow as she rolled her eyes.
“boo, you whore,” she moved her head to the side so he could see her, and stuck her tongue out, max just laughed as he shook his head. he unlocked the door, opening it and letting her in first. he turned on the light, and watched her flinch and cover her eyes with her hands, “nooo, it hurts,”
“what hurts?” he asked, furrowing his eyebrows at the thought of her in any sort of distress.
“my eyes, turn it off,” she peeked between her fingers, and was suddenly engulfed by darkness as he obliged, “thank youuu,” she sang, stretching the last word. “you’re the best. you, maximilian verstappen, are the best friend anyone could ever ask for.”
“thanks, right back atcha. but, you got my name wrong,” he approached her. there was light coming from the city outside, which helped guide him to her.
“what?” she frowned, tilting her head to the side.
“it’s not maximilian, it’s max emilian.” he said, slowly, and watched as her eyes flickered down to his lips, “two words,”
“hmm…” she narrowed her eyes, “i like it. emilian. it’s cute.”
“well, thank you,” he smiled. and she smiled. “now, come on, let’s get you to bed, you’ve got a big day tomorrow,” he placed his hand on her shoulder, she sighed and started walking, holding her arms out in front of her to prevent stumbling into something.
“can you come with me?”
“to bed?” he asked, chuckling. she rolled her eyes.
“to atlanta,” she sat on the bed, crossing her legs beneath her. “i’m going to be all alone over there, i’ll have no one and i need my best friend,”
“well…i don’t think i can make the trip to and from in time,” even in the dark, he could see the way her face fell, “but i can drive you to the airport, would that be okay?”
“i guess…”
“hey, you’ll be fine. i have more i’d like to say but we’re both too drunk, so i’ll tell you in the morning… okay?”
“okay. in the morning.”
“yeah,” he smiled, then took a step back, “i’ll pick you up tomorrow, then,”
“no,” she said, and extended her arm, “stay.”
“well, i don’t really want to sleep on a couch, but…”
“no, dumbass,” she laughed, dropping her back down against the soft pillows and mattress, “here, the bed is big enough,” she patted the spot next to her. she was right, this bed was one of the biggest he’d ever seen.
“but you- i-”
“it’s fine. i don’t mind. as long as you don’t snore,”
“you’re lucky, then.” he gave in, climbing into bed next to her.

september 1st, 2021.zandvoort, netherlands.
“why is three your favorite number?”
“what kind of question is that?” he asked. lifting his head from the arm of the couch.
they were in zandvoort, just in time for the dutch grand prix, max’s home race. it was the first time he was racing there, and he needed a good result. she’d been with him since last week, the italian grand prix, one that she hadn’t gotten to enjoy as much as she wanted to, given max’s sad result. she knew that it had gotten in his mind, he was at a critical stage of the championship, and every point counted. hence, why they were now in his hotel room, enjoying the last day of peace and quiet before the chaos that came with a new grand prix weekend.
“i’m just preparing you for the weekend,” she responded, a smirk on her face as he rolled his eyes. she liked this, the teasing back and forth, the jokes. the trust they had on each other.
“i swear, if i have to answer ‘what do you expect from this weekend?’ one more time i’m gonna…” he didn’t finish, just shook his head as he huffed.
“they’re just doing their jobs,” she reminded him.
“i know that. but why can they come up with new questions, actually interesting ones?”
“i don’t know dude, i haven’t done interviews in a long time,”
“lucky you,” he sighed. “it gets old, answering the same thing over and over again. and there are some people that- the way they ask, they want to get a reaction out of you. and of course i’m not going to give them the satisfaction.”
“but you’re not going to let them treat you that way,”
“yeah.”
“that’s why i like you. you have so much pressure on yourself right now, i know you feel it so don’t even try to deny it. but you’re capable of pushing it aside, that’s a great skill to have being who you are,”
“who we are,” he corrected her, “don’t forget you’re famous too, my friend,”
“yeah, whatever, but people don’t stop me for pictures as much as you.”
“give it a few months,”
“no thanks,” she laughed. “i like my life just the way it is,”
“really? you wouldn’t change anything?”
“no, i don’t think so,” she shook her head.
“nothing?” he smirked, she frowned, watching as he raised his eyebrows. “not even your… condition?”
“condition?” she asked, “i’m not sick or anything…”
“no, but you are a…” he raised his fist to his mouth, covering it, “virgin,” he coughed as he said the word.
“oh my god,” she rolled her eyes, grabbing a pillow and throwing it his way. he could’ve moved, could’ve dodged it, but he let it hit his face, he grabbed it and put it on his lap. “emilian, shut the fuck up,”
“i just can’t believe you-”
“so i haven’t met the right guy, so what? it’s not that big of a deal,”
“if it’s not that big of a deal why haven’t you-”
“because it doesn’t matter! the concept of ‘virginity’ is such bullshit anyway. men and society have ruined sex for many of us, it’s gotta be more than just physical desire. and i’m not saying there’s nothing wrong with that, you do you, do whatever the hell you want to with your body and partner, or partners, as long as it’s consensual,” she ranted, the words were leaving her lips quickly, he didn’t know this was a sensitive or important topic for her, since he found out about her lack of sexual experience one time when they were joking, as they usually did. “i'm just not like that, i want it to mean something, not just because it's my first time, that's bullshit, but because the other person loves me and cares for me enough to know how to treat me and cherish me the way i deserve."
"you want the whole… flower petals on the bed? lit candles thing?"
"shut up," she groaned, "i just want to find the right person. and once i do that, i'm sure everything will just… fall into place," max felt bad, he didn't mean to upset her at all, she'd told him that not a lot of people knew about her lack of experience, and some of the people that knew told her she was being overdramatic.
"well… i think it's nice that you're waiting for the right person. just make sure they're clean, though,"
"don't worry," she laughed, "i will."
“you'll have new material for songs after that." be pointed out, she smiled. "how’s the album going, by the way?” he asked, sitting up, with his back against the arm of the couch.
“meh, it’s going…” she dropped her head down, looking up at the ceiling. “inspiration’s not hitting me right now,”
“well… what do you usually do to get out of this…”
“writer’s block,” she finished for him, then sighed, “i don’t know. i’ve never experienced this before. words always just seemed to… come to me when i needed them. but now it’s… they’re gone,”
he raised his eyebrows, he could tell that this was something new to her, he saw the way her left leg was shaking, something she did when she wasn’t comfortable.
“i’m sure you’ll figure something out,” he smiled, she lifted her head from the pillows to smile at him, too.
“you didn’t answer the question,” she reminded him. “why is 3 your favorite number?”
“i… i don’t know. i’ve always liked it. i like the fact that if you complete the circles it becomes an 8.”
“oh, you’re right,” she nodded. “next question…” she said, turning on her side, “would you ever get a tattoo?”
“hmm… maybe?” he looked up at the ceiling, “i think it depends on what it is. you?”
“same. i saw online something about golden ink, not yellow, gold. with sparkles.”
“you like sparkles?” max smiled teasingly.
“i love sparkles,” she chuckled.
his phone buzzed, and he unlocked it, seeing a text from one of the media guys, who’d sent him a link to a youtube video. he tapped it, and the app loaded, he read the title and a big grin spread across his face.
“look at this,” he stood up, walking to the bed and sitting down on it, they were sitting shoulder to shoulder now.
“it’s up?” she asked as she read the title.
"uh-huh," he projected it onto the tv in front of them, their smiling faces plastered on the flat screen.
june 24th, 2021.spielberg, austria.
they arrived at the track, the red bull ring. he’d made her drive, of course, to get her used to being behind the wheel, as he’d claimed.
“are you ready?”
“no.” she rolled her eyes, opening the door and stepping out. max followed her, a grin on his face as he threw an arm around her shoulders.
“come on, it’s just going to be us,”
“yeah, and everybody else working here, fans waiting outside the track, everyone will see me crash that car and you,” she slid his arm off her, “are going to pay for it,”
“you’re not going to crash. it’s not that difficult,”
“yeah, you drive cars at ridiculously high speed, you don’t get to tell me what is or isn’t difficult.”
“noted,” he said, his arm finding her shoulder again. she left it there this time, she needed the comfort. they reached the red bull hospitality, dropped their stuff in his room and walked downstairs. “i have to go do the conference thing… won’t be more than thirty minutes,” he said, she nodded, giving him a tight-lipped smile.
“i know, we’ve been through this before, max,” she told him, “i’ll be fine, i’ll look some videos up to refresh my memory,”
“okay. don’t be nervous, it’s just gonna be us, remember?”
“yeah, i know. just us.”
-
they were approached by the red bull team principal, she immediately took a step to the side, she didn’t like him that much.
“car’s ready, cameras are ready,”
“cameras?” she asked, looking at max.
“why cameras?” he asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.
“marketing thought it’d be great for publicity, your friendship has a great presence on social media.”
“i told you this was a bad idea,” she told max, taking a step away from him.
“well, i didn’t know they were going to turn this into a media thing. but it’ll be fine, i promise,”
“yeah, now the entire world will watch me destroy a car,”
“i’d appreciate if you didn’t-” horner interrupted.
“oh, don’t worry, your golden boy will be paying for it,”
“and i told you you’re not going to crash, you have enough space to drive safely here.” he reassured her, sliding his arm around her shoulder, squeezing her against him, “but if you feel more comfortable without the cameras i’m sure we can figure something out,”
“it’s gonna get out anyway,” she sighed. “fine, let’s do this,”
“look at your face!” max laughed as he pointed at the tv. she cackled, too, watching her past self holding tightly to whatever surface was near her when max sped up as he followed the curves, instead of slowing down.
“my heart was pounding so hard,” she rested her head against max’s shoulder, “and my stomach was down to my ass,” she continued laughing.
“yeah, i wasn’t helping either,” he admitted, and she rolled her eyes. “you had fun, though,”
“i did. i did, it was fun. but we’re not doing it again,”

november 23rd, 2021.monte-carlo, monaco.
she could barely keep her eyes open as she walked to the door, the sound of the doorbell ringing made her head pound.
“i waited for you for like half an hour wha- whoa, you’re sick,” max said as she opened the door.
“oh, god. i forgot about the… i’m sorry-”
“no, no, it’s fine. are you okay?” he asked, lifting the back of his hand and pressing it against her forehead to check her temperature.
“fine, just… a cold,” she said as she wrapped the blanket tighter around her. “you should… probably leave now, i don’t want to get you sick,” she brought the inside of her elbow up to her mouth, covering it as she coughed into it.
“that’s not a cold,” his eyes widened, and he put his hands on her shoulders, pushing her back inside her house.
“wh- what are you doing? you have to leave, you’ll get sick too!”
“yeah, well too bad, i’m already in.” he shrugged his shoulder as he dropped his hand to his sides, he extended one arm, touching her hand. “and i’m taking care of you today,” he stated. it wasn’t a question, and he didn’t leave her room for complaints. “because i’m your friend, and that’s what friends do.” she smiled, holding back a cough, “and you look like hell. i want to get material for blackmail,” he raised his phone quickly, snapping a picture of her.
“stop it!” she cackled, hitting his shoulder. her laughs were interrupted when she started coughing, “i hate you.” she leaned forward, resting her forehead on his shoulder. he wrapped his arms around her, rubbing up and down her back with one hand. “thanks,”
“anytime.”
“i’ll pay you back when you get sick,”
“i never get sick,” max said, raising an eyebrow confidently.
“we’ll see about that,” she said, coughing into his shoulder.
“fuck you,” he laughed.
“thank you.”
“have you gone to the doctor?” he asked her after a few seconds.
“i facetimed my friend. ordered the meds. shit, that reminds me, i have to take my meds at 6,” she thought out loud.
“okay, that’s good. now, let’s go sit, you need to rest.”
-
“that’s dumb,”
“you’re dumb.”
“you’re being aggressive.”
“i’m allowed to be aggressive.”
“why? cause you’re sick?”
“exactly.”
“it’s still dumb.”
“he loves her,” she explains.
“then why doesn’t he say it?” he asked, frowning at the characters in the movie they were watching.
“cause he’s nervous! and he doesn’t want to risk their friendship by telling her.”
“but she clearly loves him too. why doesn’t he see it?”
“because boys are… dumb,” she gave in, agreeing with max. “they don’t see what’s good even if it’s right in front of them.” she said, shaking her head.
“that sounded personal… you alright?”
“fuck off,” she laughed, then broke into a fit of coughs. “i think you’re making me more harm than good,” she said once she recovered. she heard max chuckling under his breath, saw him leaning forward to grab a glass of water that was on the coffee table in front of them. he handed it to her, “thanks,” she whispered as she drank from it, taking a deep breath after she was done.
“nurse max at your orders,” he said, leaning back against her soft couch, “i love this thing,” he said, running his hand over the back of it.
“what?”
“your couch,”
“it is my proudest purchase,” she smiled. her eyes drifted back to the tv, seeing the girl on the other side of the screen watching the love of her life walk away. she rolled her eyes, her head drifting to the side, she leaned it against max’s shoulder.
“you tired?” he asked, not daring to move, as it would disturb her.
“a little.” she answered, being interrupted by a yawn.
“go ahead, i’m not going anywhere,” he said, she smiled.
“good.”
-
loud blaring woke her up, she sat up, looking around as she tried to locate the sound. she turned to her left, seeing max rubbing his eyes. he’d fallen asleep as well.
“what’s that?” she asked.
“sorry, i fell asleep. it’s the alarm,” he grabbed his phone from the coffee table turning the alarm off. “come on,” max got up, extending his hand out to her.
“why?” she grunted, grabbing his hand and letting him help her up, they walked to her kitchen. max grabbed a new glass and filled it with water.
“it’s six. time for your meds,” he said, sliding the cup her way. she frowned.
“you set up an alarm… to remind me to take my meds?” she said, slowly, the words sinking in as she spoke.
“yeah, he shrugged, like it was nothing, “i want you to get better soon, and you need your meds for that,”
“aw, you care about me,” she teased, popping the pill in her mouth and downing the glass of water.
“duh,” he rolled his eyes, walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her.
she held back a grin, biting the inside of her cheeks. she thought back to atlanta, when max surprised her not once, but twice. he’d done so much for her in the time they’d known each other, he knew her better than anyone else, better than she knew herself even.
max verstappen had turned her world upside down the moment he walked in.
or, she’d changed his the moment she stumbled into him.
maybe that’s why the shift from being friends to lovers was so smooth.

she held the bottle of vodka in her hand, she tried to keep her hands steady, but she was laughing too much, which made her shake.
“just go for it!” max said. she nodded, and max leaned his head back, opening his mouth, waiting for her. she tilted the bottle down, and the hard liquor started pouring down, into max’s mouth. his friends around them watched expectantly, waiting for him to declare when it was enough. she waited to feel the squeeze on her hip, but it never came. so she stopped. “that’s enough for now,” she said, max leaned forward.
“more,” he said. she shook her head, smiling.
“let’s do tequila shots instead,” her words caught his attention, and max’s eyes seemed to shine brighter than they did when he jumped out of his car earlier that night.
he grabbed her hand, walked to the bar and asked for a bottle of tequila, limes and salt. she hung onto his arm, wrapping her free arm around it as she leaned her forehead against his shoulder.
“come on, let’s go upstairs,” he told her, placing a kiss on the top of her head. she leaned back, a small smile on her face as she looked up at him.
“i’m so proud of you,” she said, letting go of him, lifting her hands and placing them on his cheeks. “you deserve this championship.”
“thank you,” he moved his head to kiss the palm of her hand. she chuckled, taking her hands off to help him with the bottle of liquor. “let’s get wasted.”
she’d be lying if she said she hadn’t been waiting for this moment since the first time back in austria. sometimes, if she closed her eyes and thought back to that night, she swore she could still feel his hot breath against her neck, his wet tongue gathering the salt, his lips barely on hers as he collected the lime. she wanted to feel that again. she wanted it every day.
they slipped away unnoticed, everyone was way too drunk to notice their absence, which was odd since they were all there to celebrate max. but they didn’t care, this wasn’t something they wanted everyone else to see. max sat down on a stool, a table by his side. he placed a plate with limes and the salt shaker on it, and watched her place the bottle there too. she stood in front of him, and he put his hands on her waist, pulling her close to him.
“sit,” he said. she raised an eyebrow. she placed her hands on his knees, pushing his legs together. then, she climbed on his lap.
“better?” she asked, her voice breathy.
“better,” he confirmed. she smiled, and everything she could see was blue. the blue of his eyes that never left her face. they stared deep into her, as if he was meeting her for the first time, as if she were the only thing that existed at that moment. she watched his eyes move slowly, they inspected her, memorizing every inch of her. she saw as a corner of his mouth twitched, her eyes went to his lips.
she loved his lips. she’d never told him that, but she liked that they were full and thick, and fit him perfectly. he took a deep breath as he noticed her eyes drifting down, his lips parted, and she felt his breath hit her chin, since she was on top of him, she had to look down to see him. she wanted to taste his lips, she decided at that moment.
she placed her hands on his shoulders, leaning forward. the hands on her hips gripped tighter, and max straightened his back, it was almost an automatic response when he felt nervous, and it brought him closer to her faster than either of them expected.
“m-max,” she whispered, her eyes on his. she saw as his eyes drifted down to her lips, “can i-”
she couldn’t finish her question, she was cut off by that pair of lips that she’d been dreaming of since they met, they were on hers, kissing her hard. a whimper escaped her throat, being swallowed by him as he tilted his head to the side and leaned forward, pushing her head back. one of his hands left her waist, he placed it on the back of her head, keeping her there. her hands were on his face now, and she felt him shudder beneath her touch.
later, as she found herself unable to sleep, she’ll think about this. how max basically melted under the touch of her fingertips against his face. she held him gently, compared to the rough battle their lips had at that moment.
max swore he was tasting a piece of heaven. when he was younger, he’d had to convince himself that he was in love with his partners. but the truth was, no one could make him feel the way she did. his feelings for her were strong and true and real. he didn’t have to convince himself this time. he knew it. and it scared him.
the kiss was growing desperate, one of her hands slid down to his neck, and she could feel his rapid heartbeat beneath the layers of skin. he leaned back, looking up at her through his long lashes, his lips parted as he breathed in. she felt goosebumps running down her back as she saw him in that state. his hands slid down to her waist again, and this time, she grabbed him by his perfect ashy brown hair and brough his lips to hers.
she wanted him. that was a fact that she’d tried to fight since it first came to mind. she wanted to blame the alcohol in their systems, but she knew it just gave her the courage to do it. these actions were all hers.
she broke the kiss, her hands on his chest, feeling his heart beating quickly beneath her touch. she leaned her forehead against his, closing her eyes as she tried to catch her breath. these actions were all hers. and that scared her.
“i can’t- i-” she panted, her chest heaving as she breathed in and out. she was afraid to open her eyes. what if-
“(y/n)...” his voice was breathy as he said her name. she felt chills, she felt time stopping as he called her name. but she could feel fear creeping up her back.
“no, max- we- we’re friends…” she opened her eyes, looking down. his hand went up to her chin, he leaned back but kept her in place, “we can’t-”
“cause we’re friends. i know,” he said, she saw him blinking twice, he swallowed a lump in his throat. she was right, they were just friends, and their friendship was too valuable to risk it.
she closed her eyes, swallowing the words, the conversation stuck in her throat.

december 13th, 2021.abu dhabi, uae.
she woke up with max by her side. he was warm, she liked that he was warm. she smiled as she placed her head on his chest, throwing an arm over his stomach as she snuggled against him. somewhere between the hours of 1 and 3am, they’d thrown all cautions out the window.
‘i love you, and not like a best friend. i don’t want you like a best friend.’
she was in love with max verstappen. and somehow, he was in love with her, too.
“do you not sleep?” she was startled as she heard his voice. it was deep and rough and raspy, and she wanted to hear more of it.
“did i wake you?” she whispered, looking up at him.
“well considering the fact that you’re squeezing me to death, letting me unable to breathe, i’ll say that was a great factor to me waking up,” he dropped his head down on the pillow as she chuckled, holding onto him tightly.
“can you blame me?” she asked, daring to place a kiss on his chest.
“no, i can’t blame you,” he smiled, sliding an arm beneath her, he moved her so she was now sitting on top of him. she raised an eyebrow.
“you like me being on top, don’t you?” she teased, leaning down, her lace covered breasts touching his chest, her lips hovered over his.
“it’s the greatest view,” he leaned in, pressing his lips against hers. she breathed in deeply, her hands going up to his face. she loved the feeling of his lips on hers.
“so much pining, anticipation…” she said as she breathed, diving back in, “desperately waiting.” her lips went down to his neck, where the evidence of the night before was littering his skin. they hadn’t had sex, max knew that had to be her choice, and he sure as hell didn’t want their first time together to be like that. “you know i woke up late… that day we met,” she said, her nails running up and down his stomach, where she could feel his muscles tensing, “or maybe… i woke up just in time to stumble into you.”
she sat up, looking for his hands. he laced their fingers together, keeping them by her sides as he sat up as well, coming face to face with her.
“and now… i get to wake up by your side.”
“my hands shake,” he said, “i’ve noticed that… whenever i know that i’m going to see you, my hands start shaking. and since last saturday, they never stopped shaking, because i didn’t know when i would see you again.”
“and now you know,” she said, bringing his hands up to her lips, between them, “you know that i’m never leaving your side.”
“good.”
“you’ve changed my life. i didn’t know i could connect with someone, so deeply and real, and i’ve loved being your friend, but now… i want more.”
“i used to be lucky enough to call my best friend, way back before you were my everything,” he said, making her breath hitch, he leaned in, letting go of one of her hands to move her hair away, his lips touched her neck. “now i’m sucking your neck,”
“you did that before, though,” she said, sighing at the feeling, “with tequila,”
“it’s different now,” he continued, “now, i just want to lay back, and watch you pin me to the bed,” he confessed, “and we’ll get as far as you want to.”
“give it time,” she said, kissing his cheek as she obeyed, she pushed him back against the bed, one of her hands slid up to his throat. “is this what you imagined?”
“this is much better,” he smiled, “and no pressure. you’re the boss here.”
he waited. she waited. they waited until she was sure she couldn’t fall more in love with him, but she realized that day would never come since max found a way, each day, to make her feel like the only girl in the world.
so she tried.
-
february 14th, 2022.monte-carlo, monaco.
she sat on top of max, with her knees on either side of him. she held his face with one hand, the other was curled around his soft strands of hair. their lips were tangled together, and even with that certainty that they were as close as possible, she could still feel max’s hands shaking on top of her hips.
“i want-” she started, breaking the kiss to speak, she pressed her forehead against his, “i’m ready.” she said. “i’m ready. i want you,”
“wh- you-” max started, but was cut off by her lips on his again.
“please. it’s valentine’s day, and- and i bought this new dress, that i know i look hot in,”
“so hot,” he said, kissing his way down to her neck.
“and i bought it… just so you could take it off. so, max emilian verstappen,” she pulled him by his hair, making him look at her, “take this dress off, and fuck me like you love me.”
she was breathing hard, and she could feel the way her words were affecting him. she’d gotten used to teasing him, learning what he liked, what made him sigh and beg for more. she wanted him to be the one begging, but if things went well that night, she’d hopefully be hearing that soon.
“i love you, deeply and true. it’s real and intense, and passionate. it’s full of desire and complete love. i don’t think there’s another word to describe it other than… love. so, no, i won’t fuck you like i love you… i’ll worship,” he kissed her neck, “i’ll cherish,” he nipped at the skin, making her sigh, her hips moved forward involuntarily, “i’ll love you that way.”
max took his time with her. her mind had gone blank, she let herself just feel.
he continued biting, sucking her neck. he could feel the way she was breathing fast, he lifted his hand and wrapped it around her throat, his lips met hers as he flipped both of them over, setting her over the covers softly. the red dress she wore made her look like a goddess. a goddess of seduction, temptation. her hair framed her face, in a way that made him want her more. her eyes looked brighter, her skin was glowing, her lips were full, swollen.
desire turned her into a whole different woman.
no, desire brought out the goddess hiding inside the woman.
“come,” max said, grabbing her hands. he helped her up, they stood in front of the other, max brought his hands up to her face, holding her gently. “i love you. i’ve loved you since the first moment. let me love you how you deserve to be loved.”
“please,” she whispered. he leaned closer, and they kissed, slow, deep. he slipped the straps of her dress down her shoulders, his hands moved to the back, finding the zipper. “take it off,” she sighed.
“patience,” he said, pecking her lips.
“i’m done being patient. i’ve already waited long enough to have you,” she said, max wanted to smirk, wanted to keep the game going, but this wasn’t the time.
he started pulling the dress down, and as the fabric abandoned her body, he made sure to cover it with kisses. his lips met every inch of skin that was available to him. he paid extra attention to her breasts, played with them and relished in every sigh, whimper and praise that left her lips. that made max work harder. he didn’t want to stop hearing those words coming from her.
minutes later, max couldn’t wipe the grin off his face as he climbed on top of her, his lips were glistening, and she was biting her lips as she watched him. she held his face and pressed their lips together, tasting herself as well. she was still coming from the highs of her orgasm when she felt his fingers on her core again.
“max, please,” she whispered. his fingers were replaced by his cock, and she bit her lip, hissing.
“no turning back now,”
“i’m not even going to try,” she smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck.
adrenaline, lust, love was rushing through their veins. this feeling was inescapable, not that either of them wanted to be somewhere else, feel something else. this was better than anything they’d ever felt, experienced before.
when they met, not even a year ago, they didn’t imagine that they’d be there at that moment.
“i love you,” she said, feeling another orgasm approaching as max gently moved his hips.
“you’ll love this,” he said, grabbing her hips and flipping them over, so she was on top.
“oh,” she whimpered, this new position gave her all the control, it let her feel everything. "oh, wow,"
“it's your turn now," max smiled, feeling her nails clawing at his chest, "what was it that you said? fuck me like you love me."
“fuck yes,” she whimpered, feeling max burying his hands on her hips as she started moving back and forth, getting used to this new sensation. “fuck, that feels amazing,” she threw her head back as she placed her hands on max’s chest, when she was ready, she raised her hips, then sank back down.
“god, you are amazing,” he grunted, helping her fuck herself on his cock. he laid back against the pillows, in awe of the beauty that was her. her, wrapped up in the bliss and pleasure that she was getting from using him.
“so, so good,” she whispered, furrowing her eyebrows as she leaned forward, pressing her lips against max’s, their sweaty foreheads colliding as she sped up her movements.
“i can feel you…” he paused, grunting, “your walls tightening around me, fuck,” his voice was deep and rough, she shuddered as she heard him, unaware that she’d been doing it.
“that’s… good?” she asked between sighs, max had planted his feet on the mattress, raising his hips to meet her thrusts.
“it’s great, so great,” he panted, her movements were becoming uneven, she was getting close to another sweet release. “i got you,” max said, taking charge of the thrusts.
her fingers were wrapped around his hair, since he didn’t have that many public outings at that moment, he’d let his hair grow freely, she loved it. she loved all of him, every piece, every imperfection, everything.
he loved that he’d let her learn what she wanted, what she liked, to make this moment, one that he knew meant a lot to her, the best and most perfect experience.
-
june 12th, 2022.baku, azerbaijan.
“shit, shit, shit,” she muttered as she almost ran to the garage. it was fifty minutes before the race, and she was late. so, so late. max had been texting her every five minutes, texts she’d received about thirty minutes ago, when her plane landed.
perks of being famous and rich, a helicopter ride solved most of her problems.
she made her way through the people, fans, and other random vip guests that crowded the paddock. once she was inside the red bull garage she leaned against a wall to catch her breath.
“finally! he’s been driving all of us crazy,” she heard someone talking to her, and she sighed as she saw max’s race engineer, gianpiero with an exhausted look on his face.
“i know,” she breathed, “i know, but my flight got delayed, and then the-” her words were cut off when suddenly a body almost jumped on top of her. she wrapped her arms around max, “hey, i’m so sorry i’m late.”
“it’s fine,” his words came out muffled, he had his face hidden in her neck.
“were you terrorising everyone without me?” she snickered.
“can you blame me? you were supposed to be here yesterday, i was bored.”
“oh, so i’m just something for your entertainment?” she laughed, max leaned back.
“maybe…” he smiled sheepishly, she rolled her eyes and grabbed his face, leading his lips to hers.
“i want to show you something,” she said once he leaned back, letting her see his eyes for the first time in three weeks.
“max, come on, time to head out,” someone said, and she groaned internally.
“i’m sorry, i-”
“go, go, i’ll be right here, okay?” she smiled, pressing her lips against max’s one more time. “good luck, champ. this win is yours,”
“hopefully.” he chuckled.
“i’m sure of it, and i’m never wrong,” she raised an eyebrow.
“whoa,” he laughed, “i can count at least fifteen times you’ve said that in the past six months and… surprise, surprise, you were wrong,” she laughed, slapping his arm.
“go. before i leave you unable to drive that stupid car,” he grabbed her hips and brought her close, connecting their lips again.
-
the feeling of being right is one that she loved. she liked being smug for once, to look someone in the eye and say ‘i told you so’.
she was prepared to do that, but then she saw max wink at her from the podium, and she was fine with it.
she made her way back to the paddock, but someone sliding their arm around her shoulders made her stop.
“it’s been a while,” she looked to the side, smiling as she saw charles.
“hey! it’s good to see you,” she hugged him. “how are you feeling?” she asked, this race hadn’t been the kindest to him.
“i just… wish this bad luck could stop now,” she nodded, understanding his frustration.
“i know. i’m sure you’ll figure something out soon,”
“yeah, hopefully,” he sighed, shaking his head. “so, where has max been keeping you captive? you basically disappeared after miami,”
“shut up,” she laughed, elbowing his ribs, “i have a job, too.”
“i know, i know,” he laughed, “i’m just joking. don’t forget about your friends, though. you can’t abandon us just because you have a pretty new boyfriend now,” she narrowed her eyes.
“did you just call max ‘pretty’?” she laughed, and charles groaned, realizing he’d probably used the wrong word, “and don’t worry, i know how to balance my time with the people i care about.”
“well, why don’t we go out for drinks or something?” he said.
“sure, next week?” she lifted her brows.
“sounds like a plan,” charles smiled.
“what plan?” max asked, materializing in front of them.
“hey, champ!” she grinned, wrapping her arms around his shoulders and kissing his cheek. “you did amazing out there.”
“thank you,” his cheeks blushed under her stare. “what were you two planning?” max asked, and she could feel his hands holding her tighter against him, could see the way his eyes changed when his eyes drifted from her, to charles.
“oh, just going out for drinks next week,” charles said, and his voice sounded small, like he was intimidated. good, max thought.
“great, we’ll see you there,” max smiled, a forced smile that she knew all too well, the one reserved for interviews.
charles gave them a tight-lipped smile, nodding.
“there’s this place with a… uh- rooftop and-” charles said, blushing.
“that sounds great, she loves rooftops, don’t you, darling?” max grinned, and she pinched his side in return.
“uh, i guess i’ll- see you there,” charles smiled before making his way to his own motorhome.
“couldn’t you be a bit nicer? he’s been struggling non-stop these weeks,” she bit back a smile, knowing that max was jealous, even though he had nothing to worry about.
“i know, i already talked to him in the media pen,” max rolled his eyes, “why did you talk to him before you talked to me?” he almost pouted.
“ah, because everyone wanted to talk to the winner, the championship leader and current world champion,” she placed her hands on his face, squishing his cheeks together, “i could wait,”
“well, i’m not making you wait anymore. come on,” he grabbed her hand and laced their fingers together, he walked her to the red bull motorhome.
-
hours later, they sat on max’s jet, the seats were incredibly comfortable, perfect for the long journey ahead. since the time difference would be quite significant, they decided to head to canada as soon as possible to get used to jet lag.
“hey, you were going to tell me something,” max remembered, “what was it?” he asked.
“oh,” she felt nervous, all of a sudden, “yeah, show you something, actually,”
“okay, what is it?” he asked, reaching for her hand.
“don’t freak out,” she started, biting her lip. “i did something,”
“o-kayy,” he frowned, “tell me now because i’m starting to worry,”
“you know how… i told you about the sparkly ink?” she started, and continued when max nodded, “i got a tattoo,”
“what?” max asked, reaching for her hands with his, pulling her to his lap.
“yeah, it’s… something small, but, you know, it’s important cause… it was my first,” her voice was small, shy.
“where did you get it? can you show me or…” he leaned close to her ear, “is it somewhere private?” she could feel his breath on her skin, it made her laugh, it helped dissipate the nerves.
“it’s here,” she pointed to her wrist, that was decorated with bracelets. max’s eyes went down to her hand, he held her arm running the pads of his fingers over it.
“can i?” he asked, holding one of the bracelets. she nodded and turned her wrist, so he couldn’t see the tattoo just yet. he removed them all, sliding them one by one and placing them on her other arm.
“before you see it i… i just want to say that even though it’s soon, i already love you more than i’ve ever loved anyone, anything. and i don’t… want to think too much about the future, but- even if we don’t end up together in the future,” she said, and felt max’s hand holding hers tighter, clearly not comfortable or too happy with the idea of them being apart, that made her heart beat faster, “i will always have love for you, you’ve marked me, inside and out. you’ve changed me completely, and i’ll never be the same person i was before i met you. you’ve brought out the best of me, and that’s why…” she cleared her throat, “i have this, to remember you, anywhere, anytime.”
she turned her wrist, there, right in the middle, a golden number 3.
she was watching him expectantly, waiting to see a reaction, but all max did was blink.
“and- and the good thing is, like you said- that- the three can turn into an 8. and if you turn it around the- the 8 can become an infinite. you- you know, the symbol for-” she rambled, but was cut off by max’s lips on hers. he held her face with both of his hands, and kissed her with such force, in a way that let her know that he wasn’t upset.
“there’s no need. no need for you to change it. i love it, and i love you. and you have nothing to worry about, cause you and i-” he pressed his forehead against hers, “we’re forever.”

For the requests... Maybe a GN!Mc that just constantly flirts with Mephisto despite him being all grumpy towards them? Like a "I hate you" "Aww I love you too" type dynamic if that makes sense? Like a onesided enemies to lovers or like a frenemies to lovers type of thing. Thank you so much!
Okay, I hope I got enough flirting in this one and that you will enjoy your very late request. And thank you for the request and for an excuse to think about Mephisto.
Flirty gn!MC and Mephisto (one-sided enemies-to-lovers)
(Mephisto x gn!MC)
(slightly suggestive) (tsundere Mephisto) (maybe lacking good transitions?)
Word Count: +2,400
The thing is, Mephisto really didn’t like you at first, and there wasn’t anything you could have done to change his initial impression: a feeble little human who was getting attention from Diavolo and staying with the brothers. Even the fact that you were cohabitating with the likes of Lucifer had rubbed him the wrong way, but that was okay. You kept changing and growing. And you were persistent – despite how much of a cold asshole Mephisto tried to be, especially when you first started talking to him.
Leviathan had once told you: “LOLOL your toxic trait is that you think you can befriend any demon just because you’re cute and nice – I-I mean! I don’t think you’re cute, per se. Just that – GAH! Forget I said anything!”
He was right, in a way. When you saw that lanky, purple-haired loser in a god-awful tie, your first thought was, “yeah, I want that one.”
The fact that he didn’t seem to like you wasn’t the deterrent he was hoping it would be, either. However, when Mephisto saw the slight narrowing of Lucifer’s eyes as you greeted him in the hallway with that smile, he knew that the attention you were giving him was getting under Lucifer’s skin. That was all the reason he needed to let you keep doing whatever nonsense you were doing: when you waved at him even though his only response was ever a glare, when you brought him sweets that you and Luke made, when you told him he looked handsome randomly or praised him for his most recent newspaper piece. Initially, his response to your compliments was a rather blunt and defensive, “what do you want?” He was a demon, and he mostly only conversed with other demons; it was only natural that he assumed you would want something in return for your praise. But after the seventh time, you still hadn’t asked him for anything.
Somehow, the first time you asked a favor from him didn’t actually hurt your cause. You had just received a text from Luke, warning you that Solomon had baked that morning and he was looking for you. Your eyes widened, and when you looked up to see Mephisto just a few feet ahead of you in the hallway, your affection and whatever you had left of your self-preservation launched you towards him.
“Mephisto, my favorite demon, hide me, please,” you begged as you tried and failed to hide behind his back.
“H-hey.” Mephisto was shocked by your actions – and your proximity to his body. “Who’d you annoy this time – other than me?”
“Solomon baked. He’s looking for me.”
Mephisto may be a demon, but he wasn’t a monster. He had heard the stories of Solomon’s creations, so he grabbed you roughly by the arm and dragged you into the newspaper room. The not-so-distant sound of Solomon calling your name filled both you and Mephisto with dread. Mephisto brought you to his usual desk and shoved you underneath it – safely out of sight just moments before Solomon entered the room.
“Mephistopheles, is MC in here?”
“Of course not,” Mephisto sat down in his seat – surprisingly careful not to step on your hands. Now you were hidden from all sides. “I’m in too good of a mood for that to be the case.”
“Can’t relate,” Solomon narrowed his eyes. He was going to offer Mephisto a cookie, but if he was going to be that way about Solomon’s favorite apprentice, he could forget it. “I thought I heard their voice a minute ago. Maybe not, then. I should just text them and ask where they are. I hope they didn’t leave RAD already.”
You quickly turned your D.D.D. to silent.
“This is all very interesting, but I would appreciate it if you did leave. I have plenty of work to do.”
“Alright, consider me out of your hair,” Solomon turned to leave.
You held your breath until you heard the door close. Your D.D.D. lit up just as Mephisto slid back in his chair and gave you the “all clear.”
“Thank you so much,” you smiled up at him as you crawled out from under the desk. Mephisto looked away. That was a sight he was not prepared for.  You joked, “I owe you my life.”
“No thanks, I’ve seen enough of it; I don’t want it.”
“Want head instead?” you teased, “I’m already down here.”
Mephisto wondered if you had read the brief thought that had entered his mind when he looked down at you earlier. He started to blush, wide-eyed and dumbfounded. Maybe that was too far?
“I’m sorry,” you apologized. “I was just teasing you, but I think that was too vulgar. I shouldn’t –”
“You shouldn’t tempt demons like that – even as a joke, you fool. But,” Mephisto sighed, stood up and offered you his hand, “don’t worry about it or anything.”
The eighth time you complimented Mephisto, there was a noticeable change in his response: “It doesn’t mean much coming from you, but thanks or something.”
Every little allowance Mephisto had granted you inevitably resulted in you growing closer until you were joking with him in the hallway after class. If someone didn’t know better, they would suspect that you two were friends – despite the fact that Mephisto typically refused to smile around you.
“So, Satan had set up a trip wire at the top of the stairs, and we didn’t think it would work. It probably wouldn’t have if he wasn’t so preoccupied with chasing Mammon around the house – he opened up another credit account under Lucifer’s name. Anyway, both of them got caught and fell down the stairs. Neither got too hurt, but when Lucifer got up, he was pissed. He rounded us all up and asked in that scary tone of his, ‘what the fuck was that?’ I, barely thinking, told him it was a performance art piece titled ‘Oh How the Mighty Have Fallen 2: Down the Stairs and Into Debt.’”
“You didn’t,” Mephisto smiled and laughed – perhaps too much for his own comfort.
Diavolo, who happened to be nearby, remarked, “goodness, Mephisto, you seem to be getting along so well with MC recently. I’m glad.”
“Them? My Lord, you’re uncharacteristically mistaken. I don’t even like this human,” Mephisto denied Diavolo’s claim.
“That’s okay. I have enough love for the both of us,” you smiled. Diavolo nodded and left, hoping he could erase those words from his mind.
“You’re annoyingly persistent and delusional,” Mephisto rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.
“And you still keep me around. I’m so lucky.”
Mephisto let out the most exasperated huff you had ever heard. Although, in truth, he was probably more upset at Diavolo for pointing out that he was actually enjoying your company. But it was only because you were telling him a story at Lucifer’s expense. Understandably, he was even more annoyed when Lucifer started heading your way. Lucifer came up and wrapped his arm around you, pulling you away from Mephisto slightly.
“Shall I walk you home today, MC?” Lucifer offered.
“Oh, but I wanted to annoy Mephisto on his way to town,” you told him. “You were going to see if that shop had gotten the special edition case of Demonus you asked for in stock, right?”
“How did you know that?” Mephisto questioned you.
“You told me earlier this week. Don’t you remember? You whined about how your shipment got delayed and the store told you to come back in a few days.”
Mephisto tried to recall, and it came to him slowly. It was irritating how many moments with you he had to scan through just from this week. He kept his arms crossed tight and sternly told you to go home with Lucifer. You agreed, hoping not to irritate your grumpy friend any further that day. Bitterly, once you left, Mephisto recalled the story you had told about Lucifer, and a smile graced his lips again. He wished he hadn’t let you go.
Technically, you did want to annoy Mephisto and spend time with him, but you also wanted to check out the shop he mentioned. It would be a nice place to investigate, especially if you ever needed to gift a bottle of Demonus to someone. You decided to go there yourself the following day, only to hear a familiar voice when you entered the shop.
You found the source and called out to him. Mephisto was pleasantly surprised to see you, but he hid it well.
“What are you doing here?” you asked.
“They didn’t have my Demonus when I stopped by yesterday,” Mephisto admitted. “They told me to come back the next morning and they’d have it, so now I’m here.”
“Oh? Well, I’m glad I ran into you.” He wished you hadn’t said that.
“Why are you here?”
“I wanted to check out the shop. I figured you have good taste in Demonus, so if I ever wanted to get some as a present for somebody, buying from a shop you frequent would guarantee good quality.”
“You know, they sell cheap shit here, too. It’s better to learn about the brands than to just go to the store blindly.”
A pretty witch with such muscular arms that you couldn’t help but notice appeared from another aisle, carrying Mephisto’s Demonus, and cleared her throat knowingly.
“Sorry! I didn’t mean it like that, Esme. You know I wouldn’t trust anyone other than you to procure the good stuff. Listen, MC, if you really want to know what’s good, come in and ask her. She moved to the Devildom just to open the shop – she couldn’t last if she didn’t know what she was doing.” Mephisto scrambled to not offend his favorite Demonus supplier.
“Don’t sweat in front of your cute little friend, Fifi~” she teased. You tried not to laugh at that nickname. “I know we sell Devil Tail Demonus – but some people like the bad stuff. Anyway, you’re pretty handy at recommending good Demonus, too. Just ask him if you want to know what to get, cutie.”
“First of all, this isn’t my friend. And second, I don’t have all the time in the world to explain the ins and outs of good Demonus.”
“Not friends? Lovers, then?” She set the case on the counter. “That’s a shame. I was hoping this little one might be into witches.”
“Definitely not!” Mephisto protested.
“Not into witches or not dating you?”
“Neither!” He handed Esme his black card.
“Hey, don’t speak for me!” You interrupted. That really got under his skin.
“You must be really flustered if you’re forgetting that you already paid when you put in the order. I mean, if you want to pay me twice, I’m cool with that.”
“Sorry.” He put the card back in his wallet quickly before grabbing his Demonus. “Thanks.”
The witch shook her head. “You certain there’s nothing going on here?”
“Oh, I’m basically in love with him,” you poked him gently, mindful of the case in his arms.
“Carrying a big case of alcohol here,” he sighed, “could you not?”
“That’s too bad,” Esme joked.
“I hate you both.”
“I love you, too,” you grinned.
“And I love that you’re a consistent patron – and a very entertaining one at that, with very cute non-friends.”
“Let’s go, MC,” Mephisto shifted the weight of his alcohol into one arm so he could grab you and pull you towards the exit.
“But I was going to look around.”
“Nope. Maybe another day. You’re helping me carry this back to my house. Not everyone has arms that could pop a demon’s head like a grape.” In truth, he could have called for a ride or any number of alternate solutions, but he was desperate to get you out of there. Witch? More like a succubus with all of that flirting.
Mephisto carried the bulk of it, only giving you one of the six bottles to carry. When you arrived at his home, he invited you in. With a short, “follow me,” he walked you down into his Demonus cellar.
“You’re not going to murder me and stuff me in a Demonus barrel, are you?” you asked.
“Good plan, but no. I’m just storing these in the proper place.”
He had them organized by origin Realm, millennia, and then century, with different shelves for woody, floral, fruity, and blended flavors. He even had a notebook near the entry to the cellar with an inventory that included notes for all the Demonus he had tried thus far. It was . . . very normal.
“Do you want to stay and try this new one? You did help me carry it home – consider it a thanks of sorts. It has to chill, but I suppose I could talk to you while we wait.”
“Oh, someone is softening up to me,” you teased. You weren’t entirely sure that he didn’t still hate you and that his upbringing just encouraged him to be polite. However, there was also no way that carrying that one bottle was even necessary. You smiled at him. “Sure, I’d love to try it with you.”
Mephisto took the bottle from your hand and brought you and his Demonus upstairs. He placed the bottle in a large, enclosed terrarium and tapped the glass. It started to snow inside the terrarium.
“That’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.” In your awe, the pun flew over your head. He could have chilled it with magic – hell, even you could have chilled it with magic, but neither of you did.
Mephisto motioned for you to take a seat on the nearby couch before he sat down in the chair opposite to you. “So, you’re looking to buy Demonus for someone? Lucifer or Diavolo, I assume?”
“No. Not really, but I thought if I ever had to, it’d be good to know where to go.”
“Good.”
“Huh? Why is that good?”
“Fuck, are you really going to make me say it?”
“I think you’re going to have to, yeah.” He was being too vague.
“You better not be joking around when you tell people you love me, got it? Because I,” Mephisto squirmed in his chair, “I don’t like the idea of you buying gifts for some other demon. I don’t like witches flirting with you. And I completely abhor Lucifer putting his arm around you like some big-shot and walking you home.”
“You told me to go home with him!”
“I didn’t know it was going to piss me off, okay?” Mephisto crossed his arms over his chest like an indignant child.
“Shit, I really wore you down,” you teased. “You like me.”
“I like you when you shut up.”
“Make me.”
Oh, he had spent all night thinking about how he could shut you up (and how he could make you scream). You really hadn’t learned not to tempt demons, yet.

Hi love your blog BTW ❤️. I noticed in a lot of you answers you mention a "before it got bad" type of situation and it made me wonder when did it get bad was it more of a you didn't even realize it ws bad till its too late? Could you give a specific moment where it would be obvious to the MC that something is wrong with how the boys live her?
Idk if you have a character limit, but if you do, you can choose whatever characters give you the most inspiration (+Levi cuz he my favorite)
Anonnamin I love this question it's so unique!! I had a lot of fun thinking about this. 🤩 I hope you like it as much as I liked writing it!
(Gn!reader x AMAB!yandere; please tell me if there's anything non-gn about the reader)(noncon)(violence against reader)(gaslighting)(small weight loss mention in Beel's)(18+ readers only please, mdni)[This is fetish content and rape and abuse are disgusting and inexcusable in real life.]
+Yandere!Lucifer would probably tip you off that something is not right when he harshly punishes you for something that isn't dangerous or harmful, more just not what he said to do. It might be, for example, he told you not to stay up playing video games with Levi and you do so anyway. The situation is pretty safe (as long as Levi is not also crazy about you...) and as long as you get up on time for school he'll probably just scold you a bit, right? Wrong! He'll hold you back as the others head to school, make you strip all of your clothes off and then flog you for your indiscretions until you start to cry and then a little more, until he believes you when you say that you will not disobey him again.
When you got to school you'd be sitting in class next to one of the brothers who is really concerned about why your eyes are puffy from crying and you look like you're in pain, meanwhile you are trying to put together what you did that was so wrong and why Lucifer took it to this extent. This kind of situation would be a big red flag that something is not right.
+Remember in the first game when Mammon and MC had to pretend to break up in Simeon's cafe? The first red flag for Yandere!Mammon would probably be him seriously saying stuff like this because he's usually pretty shy about expressing his affection and is kind of always goofing around. I don't think he'd be able to stay angry and would probably get whiney with his demands, but the growing sense of possessiveness and jealousy expressing itself to you more seriously and the limits he would try to impose on your behavior would be a sign that things are slowly changing for the worse.
+To be completely honest I don't think Yandere!Leviathan's attachment to you would ever seem quite normal LOLOL, but the first true red flag would be him insisting that whenever you two spend time together, it's in his room. Normally he could appreciate like, a trip to the zoo or going to a concert together, but your outings being interrupted by running into the brothers or Diavolo or Simeon or Solomon etc etc would start to make him so jealous for your attention that he only wants to be with you in his room, while he's holding you in place with his tail and tugging off your clothes so he can put you into the latest lewd outfit he bought you online. It'd be slow going because of how his hands caress and squeeze and linger. He'll also start asking what you are thinking about pretty constantly because he's worried that it is someone else.
+With Yandere!Satan, you would notice a different kind of anger start to emerge as the first red flag. Normally when he gets angry, it's spontaneous and out of his control. With you, his acts of anger would start to be more and more premeditated, calculated, precise -- punishments instead of lashing out. He is almost always thinking about you, so his angry thoughts have time to become more organized into an impulse to put you properly into your place relative to him. If he feels like you're his lesser, he feels more in control of the situation and it's easier to manage for him instead of him becoming a blushing, stuttering mess whenever you do something that really makes him swoon. This dominating personality would show in things like him insulting you, him pointing out your relative weakness to his, or him wanting to play some "games" with you. One of these games might be for you to kneel on the ground while wearing a collar he forced on your neck and you bark, roll over, or sit at his command. If you're feeling rowdy enough to disobey he beats you until you remember the rules. Pretty fun, right?
+With Yandere!Asmodeus, the first red flag would be that you notice he says stuff that is completely untrue about your relationship with a totally straight face. If the night before, he was holding you down and licking the tears off of your face while fucking you, the next day he would laugh about how shocking it is when you throw yourself at him like you did yesterday. If you looked confused or said that that isn't what happened, he'd just tell you that you don't need to be embarrassed about being assertive. There would be no way to get through to him. You may even notice it about smaller things, too, like him sending you selfies and saying you asked for them when you didn't.
+There might be small flags here and there with Yandere!Beelzebub, but the way you would notice something is very wrong is when you say or do something that convinces him that he needs to protect you. At that point it's all over. It would most likely be that you hurt yourself, but it could also be something like you not getting enough sleep or losing weight or hanging out with people he doesn't like. At first, he'll be glued to your side, but then he will realize that what you really need is to be safe and sound away from all of the dangers of the Devildom.
Beel thinks "kidnapped" is a strong word when all he's doing is keeping you somewhere where he can keep an eye on you and take care of you. He knows that in the future you will be better behaved so the shackles won't be necessary, so for now they are a temporary measure. For your safety :)
+I think that with Yandere!Belphegor, you might not notice any red flags until it is too late. I think he's a pretty self aware yandere and knows that the things he wants to do to you are not normal, so he is usually strategic in how he goes about satisfying these urges. He is also spoiled in general, so you might mistake some of his behavior for him being used to getting whatever he wants. But letting him have his way is a slippery slope. At first when he insists on sleeping in your bed with you, you think it's perfectly fine, he always shares beds with people when sleeping, and when he always demands you are in the bed with him at a certain time, you can understand because he does need a lot of sleep, and after a while when he starts wrapping his arms around you and pulling your body right up against his, his lips against your neck, you guess it's okay because it's just cuddling, and then a week later when you're confused about why his tongue is in your mouth, you think to yourself that there's nothing wrong with a good night kiss and just ignore the way his hands are trailing all over your body. Then it's been a few months and you wonder how things ended up like this, with him angrily fucking you and calling you a disgusting slut for walking to school with Lucifer that morning and gripping your neck so hard you feel like you can barely hear him. Looking back, you will find it hard to pin point any one red flag of when thing truly started to get out of hand.
So, do you agree with me anon? Or maybe you think it would be a little more obvious before then? Let me know what u think
Always feel free to send in more asks!

Maybe it gets better? (I could wait, it'd be my pleasure) -Remastered ver-
Tumblr media
Authors Note: First post :0 I recently reread one of my fanfics and was extremely embarrassed to see all the spelling and pacing mistakes I made TwT so I decided to rewrite some parts and regain my honor as a writer. Fun fact I’m Asexual and am uncomfortable with writing too explicit scenes lol and yet the few fanfic I’ve written are all NSFW :< I took the the liberty of ignoring the layout of the canon sister location in order to make it more human friendly, and characters can’t be ooc if they’re barely given a personality lolol Also from all the fnaf lore I’ve taken in Ballora, and both Funtimes aren’t possessed so they should be fine to romance :)
Content Warning(s): Female Reader & Anatomy, lots of pet names, Mild-Dubcon, Size Difference, Overstim, Aftercare
Ft: Ballora, Funtime Freddy, and Funtime Foxy
This wasn't supposed to happen. You weren't supposed to go near the building everyone warned you about. And you definitely weren't even supposed to think about entering it either.
At this point you've given up on trying to follow any rules you were told. The only thing on your mind was getting away from everything even if it was only for a night. But you walked into the unmarked building despite all your senses screaming to turn around , only wanting to get somewhere your body didn't feel so claustrophobic.
Your home wasn't the same anymore, work didn't provide any solace either so your last resort was to hide from the world. You'd heard the rumors around this place, how some rich guy owned it and only specific people would ever come in and out. Everyone whispered about how it was a drug rink or maybe a sextraffiking headquarters, but all you could find was an empty, dusty lobby and boarded off stairs.
You almost turned around at the sight of them, not wanting to explore this infamous building if it made your breaking and entering even more obvious. But a singular door at the far end of the lobby caught your eye, upon further inspection the knob was noticeably cleaner than everything else in the room.
You turned the doorknob, quietly hoping that it would work so you wouldn't have to return to your house late and without a story to tell. The door opened with a quiet sound and a rush of adrenaline cut through you, am I really doing this? There's no going back once you step through, so you step forward hyping yourself up as you close the door behind the sharp click of the lock much to your horror.
You whipped around, gripping at the knob as you greatly regretted your decision of walking in without a second thought. You violently twisted it damming whoever decided to install a automatic lock, instead of your initial "quick peek around" idea you now had a new objective.
Find another way out, or the alternative of finding something to pick the lock with. You dejectedly turned back around staring at the narrow staircase, you clicked on your phone flashlight huffing slightly as you accepted your fate.
The walk down wasn't tremendously difficult, but you couldn't help being discouraged that at the end of the sketchy climb, the huge basement you imagined wasn't there. Instead an elevator was neatly stationed just in front of the last step, an extremely odd placement in your opinion but you didn't show up to judge.
You pressed the only button you could see on the outside, a down arrow popped up at the top screen and in a split second the door slid open. With an unsure expression you shuffled into the oddly shaped elevator, every design choice of this place seemed intentionally weird even the semi circle elevator you begrudgingly entered.
The doors shut and you're moving in an instant despite not touching a single button, in a slight panic you grip onto the small screen at the sudden descent down. The screen is blank, and you stare at the large lifeless eyes placed on top of the device as if you're waiting for them to blink back, they don't of course but you can't stop yourself from doing so until the doors reopen with a soft ding .
You aren't sure why there's a need for this secret area to be so far down, the only thing you're sure of is the feeling of dread at the odd room you've stumbled across. The room was barely lit, T.V's filled with static lines up above the desks being the only thing illuminating the room. Mannequin heads lined on the desks bored into you as you took a step back and forced yourself into the wall behind you, begging for the doors to close and take you back up.
The elevator doors stubbornly despite the extended minute you stayed hyperventilating and questioning if you really needed this adventure to clear your mind. But everything stayed as still as you and the annoying static from the T.V was starting to piss you off rather than scare you.
" They're just mannequins, they aren't even moving! Get a hold of yourself!" That stern self-talk was all you needed to to stiffly walk making sure to keep a steady eye on the unnerving mannequins sitting in the left corner. The elevator finally closes behind you but you stand strong and take a deep breath to try to convince yourself all your decisions thus far were correct.
You head towards the desks trying to shake any unnerving feelings, you wanted to do this! You needed this adrenaline rush, and while this wasn't the most convenient way to receive one it was the one you chose. Your hands shook slightly as you took in the scenery around you, a large desk with junk haphazardly thrown on top and a cheap looking clock hung right above those ugly mannequins.
Tentatively, you slid your fingers across one of their faces trying to make sure they weren't going to react. Its eyes rolled slightly when your fingertips slid on top, but other than that no unwarranted movements were made by them so you finally let your shoulders relax a tad. Paper was scattered atop desks for no rhyme or reason, and a seemingly useless statue on the opposite side of the desk.
"Whoever decorated this place needs to get fired, and who doesn't put a clock in the middle of the wal-" your critiques came to a sudden stop as you caught some movements behind the curtain on your left. You whipped your head at the sight, was there someone down here? Your hope spiked slightly but the movement was gone as soon as you tried to check.
You hadn't even noticed the small sliver of what you could only assume was a window when you first walked in, your fingers itched to open the curtains and check. The other curtains seemed to be drawn shut, maybe it was a sign that this room was the right one after all. Or maybe there was a murderer on the other side, but at this point you were sure your initial heart attack when you saw the mannequins was the worst thing you could encounter down here.
You confidently walked over to the double doors, stilling just as your hand gripped the knob. You brewed in your own self doubt for a second, trying hard to keep up your sudden flash of self-assuredness. You suddenly pulled as hard as you could, trying to both surprise your brain and give your body no chance to back out.
If you could explain your situation to the person no doubt they'd understand and hopefully lead you out! You speed walked inside letting the door slam behind you, this is what people do right? Walk in like you own the place? You took in your surroundings again, soft dim lighting illuminated the grand foyer looking area and you took a second to realize how much bigger the room was.
" Is someone there? " A voice called out, you froze on the spot. Why were you so surprised? You were anticipating the presence of a person but the voice that rang out sounded too robotic and it dragged a shiver out of you.
Your muscles seemed to lock up, it must have come from the intercoms! You force your head to turn towards the corner, quietly praying that all you found was a speaker. Instead a monstrously tall woman stood still, as if in the middle of a spin, moving to face your direction.
Wait, not a woman? Her skin was too glossy and stark white to pass as anything human but her build resembled one. She seemed like a ballerina, no she had to be a ballerina. She balanced perfectly on her pointed feet and she had her hands above her head in a perfect position.
" Hello? Are you still here? " Her voice was so calming you would have never guessed it came from such a horrifying source. You watched in silent shock as her brows furrowed slightly in an uncanny show of emotion. Her face was segmented, closed eyes and purple eyelids were decorated with long eyelashes, and elegant cheeks accentuated with round purple blush.
Her face segments shifted slightly and you couldn't stop the sharp gasp you let out. You started to breathe harder when she finally made eye contact (could it even be considered eye contact if her eyes were closed?) She gracefully lowered herself off her toes and her arms down, that was all you needed to snap out of your daze.
You took a step back trying to be as stealthy as possible, only to be stopped before you could even move your foot more than an inch. Wait but there wasn't anything on the floor when you came in? A tiny robot stood right behind your feet, its small cream face giving a terrifying smile.
This time you couldn't repress the sudden shriek escaped, you scrambled forward trying to get away from the doll. The only thing you ended up doing was tripping over another one of those darn dolls. Why were there so more??? You landed hard on your elbows, staring in disbelief at seemingly duplicating dolls.
More seemed to walk along, as if they sensed your sudden fright and decided to join in. You tried to shift away, managing to get into a sitting position only to stop again. You'd taken your eyes off that damn ballerina for one second now her boxed purple flats were maybe a foot away. The dolls seemed to still, looking up at the ballerina before hopping away to stand behind her legs, peering at you like a curious child would.
" There was no maintenance scheduled today, it’s after hours, are you supposed to be in here? " You shakily looked up, the angle making your height difference even worse than you thought. She easily towered over you and she spoke without ever opening her eyes. You began to wonder if she could.
" Please answer my question or I will be forced to detain you " Her threat hung around the room and you opened your mouth to say something. At first a squeak was all you mustered up as you tried to force something out of your closed up throat.
"I-Im here for uh-emergency maintenance, I lost my key, ma'am" your words were so shaky that even you doubted that your pieced together lie would be believable, the ballerina seemed to cock her head at your voice.
" Don't lie to me " she snapped, obvious frustration showing in her face. You flinched at the harsh tone and tears started to flood your vision, your anxiety only worsened when she bent over slightly with a mechanical whir. You could see the mechanical workings peek out from under her torso casing, but your eyes quickly snapped up to her face as she seemingly studied you.
"I'm s-sorry... I-I just got down here and I got locked i-in" you couldn't stop the sharp inhales you took mid sentence in order to stop yourself from turning into a bawling mess. You tried not to ask yourself why the robot's stern tone shook you more than her initial presence but your mind was rendered a jumbled mess regardless of the source.
She seemed to move closer to inspect you and enlightened you that she possibly had some sense of sight. You blinked hard in an effort to dispel the tears from your eyes, the soft ballet music in the background ringing loudly in your ears.
" ...Why did you come down here " she asked, voice softening up at the sound of your desperate attempts to calm yourself down. The sudden compassion in her voice threw you off, if she actually had raw feelings or if this was just a trap to get your guard down, you didn't know. You took a deep breath and straightened your back slightly,  trying to regain any dignity you could manage.
"I.. was just trying to find a place to stay the night, I didn't mean to uh- bother you ma'am" you forced the best "I'm not a threat" voice you could, finally managing to not let all your words audibly shake. You slowly lifted your arm to wipe at your eyes, finally feeling like she wouldn't attack you at any second.
The ballerina seemed to mull over your response, as if she was trying to decide if your answer was good enough. She unexpectedly reached her hand towards you, you had to stop yourself from flinching back at the gesture.
" I apologize for scaring you, I was a bit thrown off because there hasn't been a human girl down here since… " her voice trailed off at the end, and you couldn't help but be terrified of what could have happened to the last girl who came down here. You physically shook your head, trying to get the unnerving thoughts out of it.
You gingerly placed your hand on top of hers, the intrusive thought of her immediately crushing your hand staying in the back of your brain despite your best efforts. Her palm was chilled and smooth, you could feel the small ridges in her knuckles and at the bases of her fingers.
" I must confess that I'm not equipped to help you exit, so we require help" she pauses, moving her head down in a pseudo looking down pose. " And if the minireenas give you any trouble please just nudge them away"
Minireenas? You turn your gaze to your feet, feeling a soft poke against your calf. You tried to ignore the flash of anxiety the sight of the dol- minireenas curiously examining your pants brought you. A slow swooping movement of your foot dispelled them, you finally had it in you to smile at the way they hurriedly waddled away, cloth skirts flopping with them.
The ballerina gently wrapped her previously relaxed fingers around your hand, snapping your thoughts back to her. With a slow pull she easily guided you onto uneasy feet, and with that you finally could breathe. You weren't sure if your uneasy alliance with her would end with you alive but you had to try something.
" May I ask what your name is? " You glanced up before realizing how close you were, with your height difference you fit just under her chest. You blushed and stumbled back, retracting your hand from her gentle hold in the process.
"My name is y/n, w-whats yours?"
" My name is Ballora, it's very nice to meet you y/n " The name Ballora was a bit cheesy in your opinion but somehow it fit her. You could see her hesitate for a second before gently placing her hand on the small of your back, trying to test the waters but also needing to lead you around.
"We'll need to enter the Funtime Auditorium to see if one of my friends can help with your situation, feel free to ask questions as you feel fit" Her precise way of speaking soothed you slightly, knowing where you'd go and a clear invite for a conversation made you feel oddly comfortable. The only worry still rattling in your brain was that by "friend" she could either mean another animatronic or a real person, which one? You still weren't sure.
"Oh um… is it okay if I ask why you're down here?" You asked as you finally found your voice. Ballora used the hand on your back to smoothly turn you towards the door.
" Any question is fine, dear. I'm a performing animatronic, we're shipped out for different events and until we're needed, we're kept here " You walked slowly towards the doors, you had to imagine that since she was so large she must have weighed at least several thousand pounds.
"Do you ever get lonely?" You blurted out next, your mind couldn't imagine how isolated she must have been if she only surfaces to entertain.
" I try not to dwell on loneliness, the others also keep me company so in a sense no" she grasped the handle of one of the doors opening it, she let you step ahead and both of you were back in the office. You silently watched as she ducked under the door, only to easily regaining her perfect posture as she headed toward the door opposite to hers.
" I feel I must warn you that there is a very…" Ballora paused clearly trying to find the right words " energetic animatronic that might be present here, please stay by my side so he doesn't accidentally harm you. "
A chill ran down your spine, so there really were animatronics that could kill you down here, what a world. You didn't ignore the fact that she inadvertently implied that she could have potentially hurt you before.
"Oh uh, okay? I do have one more question before we go in" The shake in your voice was back, terrified of what you had to face on the other side but you wanted to at least get your most burning question in.
" Of course dear, what would you like to ask? " Both of you stood in tense silence for a second in front of the other door before you could muster up the strength to speak.
"Can you… see? Like at all?" She cocked her head to a side looking (?) down at you, to your surprise her lips quirked into a smile and a soft giggle erupted from her.
" Oh my you're really inquisitive aren't you? " Ballora teased, " Well I have no sense of sight but my other sensors are heightened so I can pinpoint exact locations with sound "
"Woah, that's actually really cool!" You responded in genuine awe, your cheeks only slightly flushed at her teasing. Maybe she wasn't as terrifying as you originally thought.
" I'm glad you think so dear, now let's get you out of here okay? Please stay close " she paused to make sure you were ready, you nodded before remembering the information you just learned and instead made a noise in confirmation.
She opened the door, walking in first in an effort to evaluate the situation. You walked close behind planting your hands on either sides of her torso, hoping she wouldn't mind. You sucked in a sharp breath around taking in the new environment.
There were smooth tile floors with speckles of what you had to guess was confetti embedded in it, white walls, cheap folding tables and folding chairs. Two stages not too far apart from each other were to your left, one with a microphone and the other with a medal stool.
Your eyes trailed along the thin streamers hung on the top of the wall, they led back to a huge banner saying "WELCOME BACK STAFF". Ballora stopped once she navigated towards the right side of the room,
" Hello gentleman " she said smoothly, you peeked your head out from behind Ballora trying to search for whoever she was talking to. Your eyes widened at the sight of them, they were a fox and a bear. Or maybe a wolf and bear? You weren't sure.
One had a rounder build, not a sharp edge to be found on his plump body. A small top hat sat between his extended ears, a bow tie accenting his chest with a speaker underneath. His mostly white skin (fur?) matched Ballora's but instead of her soft purple accents he was dotted in pink. A blue bunny puppet rested on his arm and both of their eyes were stuck on you, you tried to ignore the way the bear’s jaw dropped at the sight of you or how his face plates shifted in a similar anxious tick as Ballora's.
The animatronic across from him was considerably more feminine, but Ballora had referred to them as gentlemen hadn't she? His face was more defined than the bears, long snout with black freckles. Their chests were about the same, even down to the pink colored belly. The only difference you could tell was their contrast in figure and the fox’s long pink nails.
An extended moment of awkwardness sat heavy in the room, and the fact that they were clearly just in the middle of a conversation made the feeling worse. They glanced at each other before looking back in your direction,
" Well hello Ballora, I didn't know you carried around freeloaders" The fox spoke in a scratchy voice, almost like every word was recorded on an old radio and played back. You stubbornly ignored the warm feeling his voice brought as you tried to avoid eye contact.
" This is a special situation Foxy, I was actually wondering if you coul- " she was cut off by the bear standing up so fast the stool he was sitting on violently fell to the ground.
" HEL-LO BIRTHDAY GIRL!! WE HAVEN'T GOTTEN AN IN HOUSE B-BIRTHDAY I-IN SO L-L-LONG!! " His jittery excitement unsettled you and any comfortable feeling you had was replaced with fear. Unexpectedly,  he ran full speed towards you, he was so quick you couldn't even think of doing anything. Your muscles tensed as he rapidly approached.
" Freddy, no " Ballora said sternly as she quickly moved in front of you before he got too close, the movement made you aware how tightly you were gripping onto her in your silent terror. You self-consciously loosened your grasp, hoping she didn't notice how scared you were.
" Freddy! Don't scare her! She's our new friend, we can throw her a party later!" A small voice seemed to try to calm Freddy down, you hadn't seen another animatronic when you'd walked in but then again you hadn't noticed the minireenas so maybe you had just missed one.
" B-But Bon-Bon! We have to cele-brate! She's so sm-all!! We haven't had a friend this sm-all in ages! " You could see his head crane to try to catch a peak of you, but Ballora stood firm.
" Your little rabbit is right Freddy, you really musn't scare the new dame so soon old friend " The sound of the fox speed walking up filled was apparent as he spoke, he seemed to join in on the effort to calm Freddy down.
" But-But! " His voice faltered as he tried to come up with a reason for his outburst. " O-Oh! Fine!" Freddy huffed and you could hear him stomp back to the table.
" It's okay Freddy, she can play with us later, you just have to be patient! We can even have a little special time if you're extra good " You dared to glance out from behind Ballora to search for the tiny voice, your eyes finding prize in the small bunny gently petting at Freddy's face. He seemed to notice you staring at his efforts to calm his friend down and offered a small smile and wave before he returned to his task.
" Y/n? " Ballora asked, turning around and effectively getting you to drop your grasp on her in the process. You hugged yourself to give your hands something to do before you looked up at her.
"Um, yeah?"
" Are you okay? Please let me know if you ever want to go to a more secluded area, I don't wish to overwhelm you" She doted on you, using both of her giant hands to gently cup the sides of your face. Her hands were now surprisingly warm and it only served to make your cheeks unbearably hot as you felt yourself flush.
"Oh! I'm uh- fine! Yeah it wasn't that bad" your voice cracked mid sentence when Ballora's thumbs gently swiped across your cheeks in an agonizingly soft way. Your stomach knotted up as she smiled down at you.
" I'm glad but please don't overheat on me dear " her joking words only served to worsen your blush, but she thankfully let go of your face and turned back to the fox.
" Okay with that resolved, Foxy I do need your help to find a possible exit for Y/N to leave from " You were back to business as soon as the moment passed and you took a step forward to stand beside Ballora.
" Ah, I was afraid you'd ask that, " Foxy answered, a static crackling in his voice. " You see you've just missed your window to leave! Its 12:23 and the elevator and service doors are locked until 6 "
You had to swallow your disappointment, so you were really stuck down here? His words rattled in your head as mild panic flooded your senses, you could barely react as Ballora wrapped her arm around your shoulders.
" Well it's only 6 hours, we just need to find a nice place for us to hide you " Ballora hummed, " how about we start with quick introductions so we can get going? " You pressed into her side in an effort to ground yourself, 6 hours with them couldn’t be all that bad right?
Ballora maneuvered you over to the table Freddy and Foxy were previously sitting at, despite it being the last place you wanted to be you sat down in the middle of her and Foxy. Freddy sat in front of you, artificial eyes shining with uncanny excitement.
" Of course the star of the show must speak first! " You gave up the stare down you were having with Freddy to politely give your attention to Foxy, " my name is Funtime Foxy and I keep this place well entertained! Though I must say once we get you out of here you must return to witness one of my shows doll "
The blush that stained your cheeks was inevitable, whether he was flirting with you or he was just normally this charismatic you didn't know. He bowed before reaching his hand towards you to shake, you shook his hand loosely. Your mind was too preoccupied freaking out over how his hands were somehow bigger than Ballora's, his palm had to be at least the size of your head.
" A-And I'm Funtime Freddy! Me and Bon-Bon also ha-ve a show here! " He stuck out his hand towards you as he bounced in his seat, you hesitate to give up Foxy's steady hold but you relented and carefully gave your hand to him. He immediately gripped your hand hard and shook it firmly, ignoring the wince you gave.
" Freddy! Be gentle! She's a girl remember!" Bon-Bon scolded moving himself down to to use his small paws to manually pry his hand off yours. Freddy pouted but thankfully loosened his grasp on you, Bon-Bon nodded to himself clearly proud of what he accomplished.
" I'm Bon-Bon by the way, I hope you stick around" he offered his small paw towards you, you used your pointer finger and thumb to gently shake his paw. You were pleasantly surprised that unlike the other animatronics he was wrapped in a soft mink fabric.
" So Y/N how'd you get down here? Can't imagine you go down random elevators everyday for fun " Funtime Foxy joked as you let go of Bon-Bon's paw, and straightened in your seat as you tried to regain any valid thoughts.
"I just…" as soon as the words came out of your mouth you deflated, almost as if your social battery died in an instant. The adrenaline pumping through your veins finally slowed down and you fought the feeling of sleepiness. You yawned instead of trying to force out anything else.
" Oh my! I think she might be getting sleepy " Ballora cooed, her demeanor changing as she reached over to pet your thigh, " All this stress must have tired you out huh? " The sudden affection in her voice threw you for a loop, and you stiffened in shock.
"N-No! I'm fine I just-" you didn't have time to finish speaking before she unexpectedly picked you up, one arm placed under your knees the other snug on your back. You squeaked and quickly looped your arms around her neck in an effort to not be dropped, you glanced over at Foxy who just grinned at you.
" Well lucky for you doll I know where the staff hides their blankets! Please follow me ladies, and Freddy stand watch, make sure Baby doesn't come around " Foxy quickly stood up, waving for you and Ballora to follow before Freddy could protest. In a blur of movement you were rushed through the kitchen door in the back of the room,
" Sorry about that dear, we just needed to give Freddy some time to calm down, " Ballora explained when you were safely inside. You stayed silent for a second, confusion filling your senses as you tried to decide if even the sudden affection shown towards you was also used to throw off Freddy.
"Who's… Baby?" You asked after you decided to push that thought to the back of your mind.
" She's… another animatronic here " she seemed to bristle at the sudden question as she seemingly forced that response, as soon as the words filled the air you felt horrible for even asking.
" And she's turned very bitter, it's better if you don't encounter her Y/N " Foxy added in order to quickly end the discussion before turning around and heading towards a door in the back, leaving the room in uncomfortable silence.
"I'm sorry I didn't…"
" It's fine hun, just… stay with us and you'll be safe " You could tell she forced the smile on her face and the light tone she used. You reached a hand up to grasp the side of her face, trying to mimic the way she comforted you before.
Your fingers barely reached the top of her cheek at the angle you were being held, but you did your best to slowly swipe your thumb across the soft purple blush on her cheek. She seemed to appreciate the effort and snuggled into your grasp for a second before turning her head and gently kissing the palm of your hand. A soft blush reappeared on your face, knowing no one would be able to see, you brought your hand down and shamelessly pressed your palm against your cheek as if you could transfer the kiss to it.
" Okay ladies quiet down, I've graciously grabbed you all the blankets that were stashed and even blessed you with a complimentary stuffed animal " Foxy showed off his finds with a raised hand and a bow, then gracefully standing straight and placing everything on your stomach. You laughed slightly at the gesture and reached down to grab the plushy, of course he would pick a Funtime Foxy plush for you to sleep with.
"If it's complimentary then how are you blessing me with it" you teased as you examined the plush.
" Anything I give you is a blessing doll and don't you forget it " He huffed back leaning down slightly to pinch your cheek while still mindful to not poke you in the eye with his nails, you quickly put down the plush and waved his hand away. The three of you laughed, before your eyes finally started to droop.
" Seems like Y/N needs to catch some shut eye! You want me to take her off your hands or are you gonna keep her with you? "
" I think she'll be safe with me, if any problems arise do tell me " Ballora jostled you slightly as she readjusted her grip on you.
" Then I must bid you girls a do. Please make sure to come back before you leave! But I know you'd never miss a chance to say goodbye to your favorite performer " You were about to refute his last claim but were easily silenced by Foxy leaning down to press his snout against your forehead in a chaste peck. The action made you flush darker, instead of giving Foxy the pleasure of seeing your reaction you hid your face in Ballora's shoulder.
" Foxy stop being a tease, we're trying to get her sleepy not riled up " She reprimanded softly as she tried to ignore the swell of feelings your warm face pressed against her caused. Foxy only laughed in response, guiding the both of you to the door.
The walk back to Ballora's Gallery was a blur, you used all the energy you had left to keep your eyes from fully shutting. You could barely make out the shrill voice of Freddy, all his words were unclear and melded into each other but eventually they stopped. Ballora said something to who you had to guess was Foxy but even with her being so close you couldn't make anything out.
You pressed impossibly closer, finding comfort in the soft whirring you could hear as she continued walking. An hour ago the thought of a giant robot carrying you back and forth would have been a nightmare but now you were being hauled off back to sleep by one and you were perfectly content. You hadn't even noticed your eyes closed before a poke to your cheek jostled you.
" I haven't even put you down and you're already asleep? If you were so tired you could have told me "
" 'm not tired" you slurred, bringing a hand up to try to rub the sleep out of your eyes. Ballora chuckled softly at your defiance,
" Okay I believe you " She joked. " But I'm about to put you down so please hold onto your things dear " The words took a second to register but as soon as they did you quickly used your free hand to press the blanket and plush securely against your body. She carefully placed you on your feet, staying close in case your exhaustion got the best of you.
"Where do you want me to set up my blankets?" You murmured as you forced your eyes to focus on your surroundings again. Ballora took a second to think,
" How about the stage? " You hadn't realized she had one until she said something, but a quick squint of your eyes you saw the shadow of a stage tucked into the far corner. You steadied your legs and walked towards it, Ballora following just behind you.
Now that you had time, you could appreciate how mellow the room was with its dark tiles and dusty purple color coating the walls. You walked up to the stage, its twinkling lights blinking on as soon as you were close enough. Her stage was a bit larger than the Funtime's but in a way it was classier with its large arc in the back.
"Your stage is… nice" You wanted to fill the quiet air with some small talk as you stood uselessly in front of the stage. You didn't want to invade her space, but she was inviting you on.
" Thank you, please get comfortable i'll stay in the room if you need me " You nodded and placed your things on top of the stage before pushing yourself up the unnecessarily tall base. Ballora waited patiently as you steadied yourself on your knees before huffing and sorting through your goods.
You'd received one thick blanket and two thin ones, with shaky movements you managed to air out the thick blanket so you could fight off the uncomfortable hard floor. In the meantime, the Minireenas took turns stacking on each other to watch you fluff out the Funtime Foxy plush you were given to use as a pillow.
With everything set up Ballora seemed satisfied and gave you some privacy, you watched quietly as she got onto the tips of her toes and twirled away. You were easily distracted by the realization that you would have to sleep in your normal clothes. It wasn't anything you'd willingly do but you were too tired to worry about it. You laid down on your makeshift mattress and draped the small blankets over you in an attempt to fight off the cold.
Your tiredness was certainly still there but definitely not as strong as when Ballora was carrying you. The AC was loud and the sound was bothering you to the point of staving off sleep. You watched aimlessly as the minireenas crawled up the stage and approached you, their faces less terrifying and now you could confidently say they were growing on you.
One walked up to your face, tilting its head at your expression. You tested your luck and reached out to pet its face with your pointer finger. In response it used its nub hands to experimentally squish your finger, behind you you felt other minireenas examine your hair and sweater. Prodding hands curiously poked at your scalp and picked up strands of hair, others gently tugged the part of your sweater that wasn't under the blanket.
You giggled under their attention, and the minireena you were petting slowly walked up to your face. You dropped your arm as it poked at one of your cheeks, before carefully pressing onto your lips. You weren't sure why they were so curious about you, but they showed no ill intent so you let them examine what they could get to.
Unexpectedly, one minireena crawled under the blanket while you were distracted. It sneaked its small hand under your shirt,  the cold nub pressing against your warm skin made you squeak loudly.
"Hey! Don't do that-" you reached back to wave it off but the other ran away at the loud noise. You forgot how easily they were dispelled and they all ran off, jumping off the stage and flopping away. You pouted at the sudden loss of attention, letting out a long sigh as you snuggled into the plushie under your head.
" Are you alright Y/N? " Ballora called out, spinning her way back towards the stage.
"Yeah yeah I'm fine, just… can't sleep" It was only a half lie, you didn't want to tell her that you stupidly ran off the only source of comfort you had at that moment.
" Well you sure had a tough time staying awake when I was carrying you honey " She teased as she stepped onto the stage, catching you off guard " Would you like me to keep you company? "
You blushed bright red at the question, laying in stunned silence as she slowly walked up to you. You averted your eyes when you got a full view under her skirt, despite her just having another smooth plate where her crotch should be, you had the decency to not stare.
"...Could you?" You asked quietly as you fought off the warmth blooming in your chest, the smile that Ballora gave you didn't help your case. She carefully knelt down before delicately sliding onto her side next to you, you had to imagine laying down wasn't something she did often.
She extended her arms towards you and you quickly shuffled into her hold. She easily wrapped both hands around you and pulled you close, nestling you against her neck so she could nose through your hair.
" It's been so long since I've been able to hold someone like this… " Ballora lamented, " But please tell me if you're uncomfortable or if I squeeze you too hard " you chuckled softly before wrapping your free arm around her torso. You would have used your other arm but for fear that she'd crush it under her weight you kept it squished between the two of you.
"Can you actually smell?" You asked after a beat of silence, curiosity getting the best of you.
" Yes, I'm not completely sure the reason why. My guess is that we need it in case somethings on fire " she absent-mindedly rubbed circles into your back, sectioned fingertips stopping when they reached exposed skin. A devious thought popped in your head, and to your half awake mind seemed it like a good thing to follow through on.
"How… well can you feel" You pressed your burning face against her neck as your rational mind caught up with you why were you flirting with the robot?
" I have a very heightened feeling of touch, I mostly experience my world through sound but it's nice to map it out in other ways too " She whispered that part to you like it was a secret just between the two of you, but by her tone it was obvious she either didn't catch onto your insinuation or chose to ignore it.
" Of course she wouldn't react, she's a robot! Get your head out of the gutter " you chastised yourself as she gently massaged your lower back, slow movement lulling you to sleep. Your embarrassment dissipated as soon as it came and you closed your eyes, finally giving in to your tiredness.
The last thing you heard was Ballora softly humming a tune, sleep came easily when you were pressed into her warm form. You came down here to get away, and maybe you did. Being cuddled by a giant machine with unsettling sentience was worlds better than anything you experienced above ground.
~~~~~~~~~
" Y/N " Ballora tried whispering, slightly shaking you. " Y/N you have to get up, this is important " Her words felt like they were under water, barely audible to your groggy mind. In response you groaned slightly trying to wrap yourself back up in blankets, you felt like you barely got any sleep.
" Y/N " She snapped sitting you up in a quick motion, blood rushed to your head and your eyes finally snapped open at her sharp words. You pushed away slightly with a whine, your mind not yet understanding the urgency in her voice.
" Y/N, honey, I'm sorry for waking you up but I need you to do something for me " She tried to keep the both of you calm, but the edge to her voice finally registered.
" She's here, she cannot see you. She won't let you leave if she finds you, you have to understand that Y/N " A pit of dread was planted in your stomach and you only nodded your head, " There's a vent right next to the stage, pull the frame off and crawl through. I'll distract her but you need to move quickly, go find Foxy. "
You swallowed sharply, your mind racing as you tried both processing the information you just received and getting up from your cozy cocoon . Is she talking about Baby? Why won't Baby let you leave if you're found? Ballora quickly stood up and took you with her.
With a quick but stern push she got you closer to the vent and handed you your things, trying to get any evidence of you hidden. In the short time you've known her you'd never seen Ballora more anxious and it was throwing you for a loop. You quickly stepped off the stage and found the vent, your fingers gripping the channels before pulling.
It came off with minimal effort, you pushed your blankets in front of you before you glanced back at Ballora. She stayed "staring" in your direction, faceplates anxiously shifting as she waited for you to exit. You swallowed your anxiety and crawled into the vent, where did it even lead?
A small sound clued you in that Ballora closed the vent hood behind you, while the vent wasn't an extremely close fit you still had no room to turn around and check. A small huff escaped your lips as you took a second to try to calm yourself down, soft music fading away as Ballora twirled away.
You abruptly heard the doors to Ballora's Gallery slam open, heavy footsteps following and all you could do was freeze in fear. You didn't move in the case she has heightened hearing like Ballora, but you didn't think Ballora would send you to crawl in such a rickety vent if that was the case.
" Ballora " A voice called out, Baby's voice was much too soft for what you expected. Despite that it sent a chill down your spine.
" ...Baby, " Ballora answered in the same tone.
" Are you hiding someone from me, Ballora? " Her calm voice seemed more threatening than soothing, as if she was more calculated in her malice.
" Nobody's come in here since this evenings maintenance "
" Well, Freddy says otherwise "
" Freddy always mistakes mice and other things for humans, we've been made aware of this fact time and time again " Your hands were shaking but the fear of getting caught made you quietly move forward, stopping every time you moved to push your things along.
" Then you wouldn't mind if I examined your room would you? " Baby asked, her voice now muffled as you finally reached the other side of the vent. Sweat ran down your back despite the cool metal pressing against your clothes, you hooked your fingers on the channels of the opening and prayed to God that it wouldn't make a noise when you pushed.
You gave it a soft push and it came off silently, you placed it leaning on the wall next to the opening. Your mind was racing, you'd made it this far by yourself now you just had to get to Foxy. The blankets and plushy fell to the ground with a small shove and you crawled out with them, being extremely mindful to not bump the vent cover.
You could finally sit upright and catch your breath, you had to guess you were back in the office now just under the desk. The closed doors of the elevator mocking you, as if asking why you couldn't have just gone somewhere with less high stakes and a lower chance of dying via robot. You physically shook your head to clear your thoughts again, you're not dead yet! Might as well make the most of it.
You quickly pressed the vent cover back on before deciding on where to head next. Another vent was on the opposite side, but the doors to the Funtime Auditorium seemed like a safer bet since you weren't sure where you'd end up if you took the vents. With a quick scoop, your things were in your hands and you were hyping yourself up to run to the door.
You inched forward before bolting towards the door, pulling the door open while still being mindful to not create too much noise. You slowed down to a jog as soon as you entered the room and you quickly spotted both Funtimes.
" -didn't me-an t-t-to! I-I was just so ex-cited! " Freddy seemed choked up to the point of making you wonder if he could cry. He dragged a hand across his face while Bon-Bon said something so quiet you couldn't discern.
" It doesn't matter if you meant it or not Freddy! If Baby finds Y/N I'm gonn- " Foxy abruptly stopped chewing him out at the door shutting behind you, both of them jumping at the sound. They seemed relieved at the sight of you,
" Well speak of the devil " Foxy joked, clearly trying to laugh off his prior mood. " Great timing Y/N! You're just in time to catch the hide-away express "
You finally stopped your slow trot when you were close enough, trying to surpress your own anxiety. Unexpectedly, he swooped down to give you a hug. The mechanical sound of his tail wagging filled the room.
" Y/N! I-I'm so gl-ad you're okay, I'm sorry! " You hugged back before glancing over at Freddy, not sure what to say. You couldn't reassure him that what he did wasn't his fault, whatever words he spoke could have gotten you killed.
Foxy raised his head and threw a quick glare Freddy's way while you averted your eyes at the tense atmosphere. You didn't want to take sides so you kept your mouth shut. Foxy straightened himself as quickly as he came down, turning you so you were facing the kitchen.
" I'm going to go stash her somewhere, if Baby comes back say I'm in parts and service " His stern voice got both you and Freddy back to the task at hand. Freddy nodded with a frown, and you couldn't help but feel bad for him. He seemed to be programmed to be very jumpy and excitable giving him a stark personality compared to Ballora and Foxy.
Before you had time to go too far into those thoughts, Foxy placed a hand on your back and rushed you to the kitchen. You had to jog to keep up with his pace as he easily directed you past the cabinets to two doors tucked in the back.
" I would find you a better place to hide in Parts and Service but all the BidyBabs like to hang around there so we must make do with the closet " He seemed to catch your questioning stare and continued,
" BidyBabs are like Ballora's minireenas but they look more like baby dolls. Since Baby and Ballora have their own areas they needed extra company " You nodded along as he opened the door for you to enter. The small space lined with shelves for storage, the only empty wall space was just above a short shelving unit and was decorated with a poster.
"Circus Baby's Pizza World" was written in big bold letters just under a picture of Ballora, Funtime Foxy, Funtime Freddy, and… The last one you had to guess was Baby, red pigtails and nose making her look akin to a clown. You ignored how unsettling the picture of her was by fiddling around to find a place to put your things up.
" They were on the top shelf doll, here let me help you " He stepped forward, dodging the hanging light to grab the blankets from you. You inched back, both of you couldn't comfortably be in such a small space. Well not without invading each other's personal space that is.
You half sat on the short shelves behind you, back hitting the scratchy brick wall. Foxy paused his organizing to examine the small plushie he'd given you. He seemed a bit hesitant to place it back in its box,
" How about you hold onto this? Wouldn't want you having nothing to keep you busy" You nodded, face only getting warmer as he got closer to hand the stuffed animal to you. You busied yourself by dragging your fingers over the soft material.
"How… long do you want me to stay in here?" Foxy seemed surprised at your question, like he hadn't thought about it, he placed a finger on his chin in an exaggerated thinking pose.
" Ah well I could just leave you alone, but where’s the fun in that? I’d say we have some time to spare before we must part ways" He leaned over you, close, too close. He easily placed both hands on either side of you, the shelf groaning slightly in protest as he leaned his weight on it.
" How about I keep you company? " It was such a simple question but he whispered it so close to your ear, faux breathing surprising you. Your death grip on the plushy only increases as he sniffs what he can reach of your neck, cold nose momentarily pressing against your overheated skin.
He paused, looking over at you as he waited for your response. Your brain was frazzled from the moment he got close, you closed your eyes and stubbornly pressed your legs together.
"Could you…?" As hot and bothered his presence got you, you were too embarrassed to directly answer him. He gave a gleaming smile full of sharp teeth,
" Of course I can sweetheart! Now sit still, won't you? I think I'm gonna have my fun with you " You helplessly stared at the closed door opposite to you, the danger of Baby coming to look for you was still lingering but if Foxy was acting so calm you had to trust him.
He quickly got on his knees in front of you, the elevation of the shelf you were on giving you a fighting chance to not look so tiny compared to the huge animatronic. Large hands were placed on your waist, fingers easily lifting the hem of your sweater.
" You didn't wear a shirt under here? Naughty, Naughty, what am I going to do with you? " Foxy scolded, dragging your sweater up as a silent request for you to take it off. You forced your fingers to relax around the poor plushy you were holding to be able to take it off.
You weren't sure why you were so eager to let him see you but his calming energy made you agreeable with whatever he suggested. With shaking hands, you dropped your sweater to the side, going back to holding the plushy so your hands had something to do. Foxy seemed pleased with the motion and went back to exploring your torso.
Long nails traced your ribs, leaving shallow indents in their wake. His hands easily shifted upwards gently to fondle your boobs, squeezing them together experimentally.
" Humans are so soft and squishy " He noted out loud, " I've never felt something like this, do tell me if I'm too rough " The fact that he was pushing all your buttons while still being inexperienced made you somehow even warmer.
He didn't seem to mind your frazzled silence as he continued to feel you up. He unknowingly rolled his palms your nipple, making you let out a soft moan before you snapped your mouth closed. His head tilted at the sound before he delicately pinched at the area, his face lighting up impossibly brighter at the louder moan he earned.
" How about you take this pesky garment off? It isn't fair you're the only one wearing clothes " Foxy jokes, choosing not to react to how your thighs shifted against him.
"How do you even know what to do?" You surprisingly got the words out even if they were barely above a whisper. You fumbled with the clasps on your bra, unbuckling them before you could second guess yourself.
" Our creator made us with the idea that we could also host adult parties in mind, that was before Baby came along " You paused as you were attempting to slip off your bra, the thought that Ballora actually caught your flirting and instead chose not to act on it flooding your brain. You put the thought into the back of your mind before you finally slipped your bra off.
Foxy easily changed his focus back to your body, hands going back to their original places but this time thumbs rolled over your nipples. He seemed to revel in the loud moan that you let out before you quickly slapped a hand over your mouth, not trusting yourself to keep them in anymore.
" Do you want us to get caught, doll? " He gave another long roll of his thumbs, " Keep quiet or I'll have to give you something to help " His threat made a shiver run down your spine, whoever programmed him was seriously going to burn in hell for this.
He stopped his assault on your chest to finally push your thighs open and unbuckle your pants, dragging them off in a too self assured motion and your shoes were discarded just as easily. His fingers danced along the edge of the fabric of your panties, taking in the soft cotton.
" Jeez I've barely touched you and you've already ruined your underwear? " He gave a purposeful press of his knuckle against where the majority of your slick had pooled. In an instant you nearly forgot any prior conflict as you pathetically buckled under his touch.
Foxy thumbed the panties to the side, making you squirm at the feeling of your slick being sloppily spread with the motion. Your brain was so fuzzy with lust that you didn't even mind how he took it upon himself to uncover yourself to him.
" God I wish I could taste you, you smell so good sweetheart" You figured that they had no logistical need to taste, but if they were programmed with acute senses how hard would it have been to give them the ability to taste? You were dragged out of your thoughts as Foxy continued his exploration of your body.
He swiped a smooth finger across your folds, catching you off guard as he gathered your slick on it. You whined as the tip of his finger finally pressed against your entrance, the barest hint of pressure applied. You'd only ever put your own fingers inside yourself so the thought of his huge digits inside you made you tremble in anticipation.
" I'll go slow just for you, after all you are my number one fan, hun " Foxy seemed to enjoy teasing you, you tried to swallow your anxiety. The first person you'd even let touch you in a sexual way is going to be an animatronic, and you're willingly letting it happen. You'd hoped your first time would be magical but being fingered in a closet wasn't too much of a downgrade.
He finally pressed a finger inside of you, the feeling more uncomfortable than what you'd expected. His finger was easily the size of two of yours and much longer. Despite your lack of noise when he finally gave you what you had wanted, he gently pumped the digit in and out.
" See you're just begging to have someone fill you up huh? You're just in need of your favorite performer to take care of you right? " He seemed excited to both praise himself but still make it clear that you enjoyed his presence. The mixed signals flip flopped in your muddled brain as his fingering finally got pleasurable.
Foxy's thumb finally sneaked up and pressed against your throbbing clit, making you sob out a muffled moan. He pressed a second finger inside before curling them and the only way you could describe the feeling was as if you felt was a strike of electricity coursing through your veins.
Warmth pooled in your stomach as you tried to process the onslaught of pleasure that finally hit you. Your thighs snapped around his arm but were easily parted with his free hand as his fingering slowed down.
"Foxy…" You whined, voice still shaky as you tried thrusting yourself on his digits
" That's my name, doll! Don't wear it out " Foxy responded, his ever confident smile never leaving his face and he stopped your movements with a strong hand on your hips.
" Now I don't want you to wear yourself out so fast, how about we move on to the real fun? " He knew what he was doing right? You tried to calm yourself down, you genuinely hadn't expected him to allude to actually having sex. You glanced down just in time to watch his ears wiggle in anticipation,
"O-Okay" was all you had to offer as an answer. He leaned forward to press a kiss on your stomach and with an embarrassing squelch his fingers were pulled out. You quietly placed your plushy to the side making sure it was looking away, feeling bad that it even had to be here.
Foxy easily got back onto his feet, unexpectedly pulling you closer to him with a grip on your thighs. Your thighs spread an almost uncomfortable amount for him to step in between them. With your crotches leveled in this position, you scratched your nails into the shelf below you in anticipation.
A soft mechanical whirring filled your senses and your eyes snapped down as a phallic pink dido slowly poked out of his shifting crotch panel. You had half a thought to laugh at the unexpected reveal until you noticed it just kept going. The surprisingly warm tip pressed into your skin just under your belly button.
"I don't- I don’t think that's gonna fit '' You whispered, half panicked as you looked up. Foxy's smile dropped slightly at your lack of eagerness, expression turning into something more tender.
" We don't have to, dear. I'm only here to make you feel good " He leaned forward to wrap his hands around you and rest his chin on your shoulder, ignoring the squeak you let out when his dick accidentally pressed on your clit during the movement.
" I could just finish you off with my fingers, I won't do anything you don't want me to" His kind words would have had more of an impact on your judgment if the position you were in didn't have both of your sexes pressed together just so. You wrapped your arms around his neck to hug back, your own arousal spiking despite his caring sentiment.
"I… wouldn't mind if we kept going" It couldn't hurt to try would it? He pulled back slightly to study your expression,
" Don't feel pressured to do this, I can put it away it isn't that big of a de- "
"I want to do this Foxy" you said confidently, finally managing to catch his stare. He let out a small surprised static noise before finally regaining his smile.
" Well you don't have to tell me twice, if you ever want to stop, don't be afraid to say so " He peppered warm kisses all over your face as if to praise you for your new found confidence, all you could do was giggle and gently push his snout away.
Foxy easily stepped back and regained his hold under your knees, angling his hips just enough to let the tip of his cock press against your opening. You shivered and leaned back, letting your head hit the wall behind you as you attempted to brace yourself.
" Now I must warn you, if you end up loving my cock more than a human's I'm not liable " His static voice faltered slightly as he continued to try to boast but you could feel a glob of precome(?) drip out from him. You adjusted your arms into a more comfortable position on his shoulders before looking up with a questioning look.
" That's just lube, doll. You're clearly already wet enough but it wouldn't hurt to have some more stuffed in you right? " You flustered particularly hard at that sentence and your only response was to just close your eyes with a huff. A distorted chuckle left Foxy at your reaction but he chose not to push any further.
Instead he finally let the head of his cock enter you, knocking the breath out of your lungs with it. He was bigger than you'd even imagined, your walls stretching almost unbearably as you tried to fit him. He kept shifting into you until you were finally pressed against the opening on his crotch panel.
You barely even noticed the long moan you let out but as soon as you caught yourself you bit down on your lip. You'd never felt so entirely full before, his dick greedily pressing against everything it could.
" Tell me when you're ready " He murmured, somewhat out of breath at the feeling of your warm walls gripping onto him. You experimentally moved in a slight up and down action to try to gauge your own reaction.
A slight dull pain was all you could feel, despite all the prior stretching it didn't compare to how massive he truly was. But despite that you heard Foxy growl slightly, you opened your eyes to find he’d closed his. He seemed to be trying very hard to hold back any movements and the through of that sent a shock of lust through your body.
"Please move" You whispered still out of breath, mild pain be damned because the only thing you wanted right now was him. He let out a dark chuckle before meeting your eyes,
" You need to be more specific doll, tell me what do you want ol' Funtime Foxy to do?" His sudden change of tone made you shiver, he really was made for this. Despite how eager you just were, the words got stuck in your throat. You had to take a deep breath before you could even try to speak.
"Please…" You paused with a deliciously pained look as your squeezed the words out, " fuck me Foxy" Foxy grinned ear to ear at your vulgar words before doing as he was told.
His thrusts started slow and shallow, just enough movement that made you keen with want. Your brain was quickly reduced to a pile of mush as soon as he started to speed up. At this angle he could easily press against all the right places and all you could do was mewl and dig your nails into his shoulders.
" I'm going to fill you up Y/N, but you'd like that wouldn't you? You want to be pumped full of my cum. Just such a sweet girl, didn't even stop me from moving her drenched panties " He huffed right next to your ear, pulling you closer as he moved impossibly faster. " Now I'm going to make sure to take care of you doll. I'll stuff you full just how you want "
The words were so loud in your head but they only half registered, yet that was still more than enough to make you moan out. You pressed your face on his overheated metal as you curled in on yourself, forgetting your promise to stay quiet when he sneaked a hand between both of you to firmly rub your clit.
Your legs uselessly clamped around his form as they were finally released from his hold, and your pooling pleasure finally tipped you over the edge. The feeling was like a tense string finally snapping and a wave of euphoria crashing over you instantaneously.
Your mind was foggy, trying to reel itself back to reality as overstimulation finally hit you. Foxy continued to fuck into you so he could fulfill his promise. You whined as he continued to use you to finish, tears steadily forming in the corners of your eyes.
Thankfully he soon let up, pressing in as deep as he could go before finally emptying out what you had to assume was just more lube into you. The feeling of the thick liquid inside of you made you squirm, especially as it overfilled and slowly trickled down your thighs, but your mind was too disoriented to quite care. Your prior tiredness obviously catching up to you after such a mind numbing experience.
Foxy gently rubbed your back in an effort to comfort you without overwhelming you any more. You stayed in his arms with droopy eyes for a solid couple of minutes before he carefully pushed you off his cock with a wet sound that you would have normally been embarrassed of if you weren’t too busy trying not to fall over.
You let your shoulders meet the wall behind you, trying to catch your breath as lube slowly spewed out of you. The sound of Foxy tucking his dick under his crotch plate filled the room, but he busied himself with grabbing hand towels from a box on the shelf.
He hummed a tune as he got back onto his knees to gently wipe down your thighs and the shelf under you. The microfiber tickled your senses but you kept your mouth shut to let your mind recover. When he finally got to your crotch he paused,
" How about you also keep these on as a memento from me to you" Foxy gently hooked his thumb under the fabric to pull it away, taking great joy in the translucent lube that smeared on the way. With feather light touches he wiped up the bare minimum amount of lube from your panties and puffy folds, laughing at the half hearted glare you gave him when he pressed his thumb into you just to watch the cum gush out again.
" I'm just cleaning you up sweetheart no need to be so dirty minded " He teased before moving your now only mildly soiled underwear back to the right place. He wiped his hands before grabbing the other towel to reach up and wipe your damp face, not without pausing to boop your nose of course.
He discarded the towels in a box, you felt bad for the poor souls who’d uncover those. Your barely cohesive thoughts were cut off when he handed you your clothes and shoes, getting up to give you some space.
You slipped everything back on, trying to pat your clothes down to make sure you didn't look as fucked out as you felt. Your legs felt like jello but you also felt a sense of satisfaction so the mild discomfort was worth it. Foxy extended a hand towards you with a smile,
" What kind of gentleman would I be if I didn't walk my favorite dame out? " You laughed before grabbing your plushie and his hand. You were easily pulled onto your feet only to hold onto Foxy for dear life as your knees buckled under you.
"You're not a very considerate gentleman if you put me in this predicament in the first place" You gritted out in an effort to distract yourself from any embarrassment.
" Well I wasn’t the one who asked to be fucked so I must say your argument is weak " Despite his teasing words he patiently waited for you to gain stable footing.
" By now Ballora must have gotten Circus Baby out of her room so do allow me to -" As if on cue a loud thump sounded in the room next to you, making both of you freeze.
" Stupid! Stupid! I didn't actually mean kill a rat! Biddybab I- Ew! Don't bring it closer! " Baby's voice was muffled, her footsteps running away making any other words spoken inaudible. Foxys hold on you tightened,
" Seems I'm mistaken, no worries! " His voice had a nervous shake that unsettled you. " I need to go wave her back to her room so she doesn't go snooping around anymore, you need to go back to Ballora’s room"
"Are you sure? What if she isn't-"
" Then you'll come back here and get Freddy, just please move quickly. I promise you’re safe dear " He leaned down for another quick hug but you couldn't help but feel terrified. If both Foxy and Ballora are this scared of Baby, how bad was she?
You nodded, waiting in chilling silence as he went to peek his head out the door once he opened it. You followed him out the door, ignoring the dull ache between your legs as you closed it behind you. Foxy ushered you back into the kitchen before offering you a wave as he disappeared through another door.
And just like that you were alone, brain trying to process the series of events that just unfolded as you leaned against the fridge. One moment feeling warm and loved and the next being rushed away for your own safety. But you really couldn't be upset by it, you just sighed and accepted your situation.
Getting right back to your objective, you attempted speed walking but the underlying soreness between your legs stopped that in a couple seconds. You dug your nails into your palm, trying to limp as inconspicuously as possible as you finally entered into the Funtime Auditorium.
" O-oh! You're back! Me and B-Bon-Bon were starting worried! " You heard Freddy before you saw him and had to physically stop yourself from making a face. You had to say out of all the animatronics you've met so far he was your least favorite, besides the one who's actively trying to kill you of course.
"Yeah! Um Foxy just sent me to go back to Ballora's room" You continued your walk to the door that led to the office, Freddy clearly not getting the memo as he jogged to catch up with you from the stage.
" Where's Fo-xy? What took you g-uys so long? " He stood in front of you with a skeptical look on his face, not understanding the rush you were in.
"He went to go make sure Baby wasn't going to come back" You hurriedly responded, "And me and Foxy were just… talking"
" See Freddy, everything's fine! Y/N isn't hurt, she just reaaaaally needs to go with Ballora " Bon-Bon piped up, he reached up to calm his friend. You just nodded and you anxiously gripped onto your Foxy plush.
" Th-en let me walk you over there! I'm going to be a ge-ntleman! Just like Fo-oxy " Pure excitement emanated from his words but all you could feel was underlying fear, helplessly watching as he giddily got closer.
"No No! You don't have to, I'll just go by myself!" Your words fell on deaf ears as he pulled you close with one arm. His frankly overbearing presence unnerved you, obviously not one to take no for an answer.
" Foxy's go-ing to be so s-s-so proud of me! " Freddy babbled on as he walked you over to the door, Bon-Bon peeked out from the other side of Freddy to look at you with a " I'm sorry about him " expression. You gave a small smile back, stumbling slightly as you tried to keep up with him. The three of you were back in Ballora's Gallery in record time, Freddy looking around in the dim light.
" Oh go-osh she's not here! Wh-at are we going to do Y/N? " His voice turned weirdly petulant and it took you off guard, you swallowed down any fear and looked up at him.
"We could just sit and wait" Your words shook slightly as you willed yourself to stay calm.
" I w-was just thinking the sa-me thing! " Freddy seemingly snapped back to normal just as fast as he changed. You made a protesting sound as he lifted you up with one hand around your torso, watching sadly as your plushy slipped out of your grasp and fell to the floor. He walked you over to the nearest wall before sitting down and placing you on his lap, wrapping you up in a snug hug.
" G-Gosh I really missed huging people! Ki-ids don't come around here anymore and the workers don't care enough " He bemoaned, his speaker rumbled against your back as he pulled you against it. Your thighs protested having to spread around his legs but you ignored it when he squeezed his arms around you.
You felt a wave of regret wash over you, he must have not being unnerving on purpose he seemed to just be so touch starved so he jumped at the opportunity to get to you. He placed his large head on your shoulder causing you to crane your own head to the side in order to accommodate him.
"I'm okay with hugs Freddy just… please ask me before okay?" He just makes a noise in confirmation before closing his eyes. You sneaked your hand up to pet his cheek. He smiles wide at the touch but otherwise says nothing, and in an unexpected move Bon-Bon shifts closer to press a small kiss to your cheek.
" You're awful pre-ety Y/N, did you know that we haven't had a gi-rl down here in ne-arly t-t-two wh-ole years? " His voice rumbled through your torso, Freddy was pleasantly quiet and you were grateful for that. You hummed a surprised noise so he knew you were listening, finally relaxing your back into him.
“ We’ve been closed for parties for soooo lon-g, only technicians can come down here and there’s not even one girl amo-ng them! Can you believe that y/n.? ” For once that night you felt at ease with Freddy, his quiet rambling lulling your senses. “Wow really?” You quietly remarked, happy to entertain his story.
“ Yeah, really!! And a-and in two weeks the staff comes back! It was supposed to be next week but Baby got into a scrap with a technician and it got pushed back. Bu-ut we’ll get to preform for real again! It’s been ages since our last real performance ” you offered a small noise in response before closing your eyes, blissfully unaware of Freddy's eyes opening to eagerly trace your body.
“ It’s also been ages since we’ve had s-ome real fun too… You’d think having the faci-lity all to yourself would be exciting but the fun of sneaking around staff to get so-ome… stress relief was really what made it fun. ” Your eyes slotted open as your confusion got the better of you, the slowly deeper tone Freddy adopted as he continued talking didn’t offer any clarification. “ The closest any of us have gott-en to that recently was that little stunt you and Foxy pulled, fucking in a closet isn’t exactl-y allowed ”
" Y’know I'm only a li-ittle sad that Foxy got to you first " His eyes watched your face burn red, " But I al-so don't mind slo-oppy seconds though " His voice ringed with so much glee as your mind started racing, how did he know you'd had sex? How much had he seen?
Your panicked thoughts cut off as Freddy's hand slowly slid to your thigh and groped it, cold fingertips digging into your flesh as he delighted in the shiver you gave. His hands impatiently trailed up and down before sliding over your crotch.
"F-Freddy we really shouldn't- Ballora's probably coming back and-" He grinded his palm right against your crotch, effectively shutting you up. You gave a small moan and tried to push his hand away but he easily overpowered you.
" Ballora re-ally like likes you, I saw her " He chuckled at his own words, " I'm sure she'd be m-ore than happy to see you so worked up " Dammit that was your last logical reason to stop but you still didn't want to give in, at least for your dignity's sake. You weren't sure if it was ethical to get fucked by one let alone two robots.
His hand moved up to clumsily unbutton your pants, nearly ripping them and your underwear off all together. You kneeled up higher as your lust finally got the best of you, one more couldn't hurt right? He pulled you up so you were kneeling on his smooth thighs, pants and panties pooled around your knees as you just braced yourself against his forearms.
You were in far too deep now, you wanted to at least think up one more reason to fight him off but you were too turned on to care anymore. Thick fingers traced your folds, exploring your sensitive parts with reckless abandon.
" Foxy wan-ted you to stay all di-irty down the-ere right? I don't thi-nk he'd mind if I filled you up again" You could hear the smile in his voice but you squeezed your eyes shut in defiance. The arm that had Bon-Bon on it shifted to gently hold your midsection, trying to hold you still and keep you from slipping off his thighs.
Freddy's fingers ignored your aching clit, instead opting to stick two of his fingers deep inside you in one go. You jumped at the intrusion, tears welling up at the rough treatment.
" S-Sorry I thought y-ou were looser " Was all Freddy gave in response, not even bothering to take one finger out. He rubbed at your clit in an apology, and a moan itched at your throat from the pressure despite your earlier pain.
Bon-Bon swiveled in your direction, gently patting at the stray tear that fell. As turned on as you felt you had to admit Freddy definitely wasn't as skilled as Foxy, sloppy digits moving only to stretch instead of pleasure. He prematurely took out his fingers, and the sound of his crotch plate shifting aside filled the room.
" I'll be e-xtra gentle with you! Do-ont worry! " Freddy sing songs, his dick does the same slow exit as Foxy's did but this time you could feel it immediately press against your entrance. You grind down slowly in an effort to regain any friction, not missing the slight growl that Freddy gave.
He was clearly desperate to move on to the part where both of you could feel the most pleasure, emphasis on both. He eases up his hold on you to clamp his hand on your hip and slowly maneuvering you down his shaft, tears reappearing at the sharp burn. He was much thicker than Foxy at the expense of being shorter than him, but despite this your eyes snap open and you feel overwhelmingly full.
Freddy let out a low groan when you finally slipped all the way down, your knees hitting the floor as you tried to remember how to breathe. He experimentally thrust into you in a shallow movement and your face distorted in pain.
" So-rry! Again! I dont want to hu-urt you, you ju-st feel so g-go-od! " His last word was garbled up when you clenched at the compliment. You scan around the scarcely lit room for something to distract yourself with but it was empty, not even a minireena toddled around.
" You like it when I say h-ow go-od you feel do-ont you? " Freddy taunted, " Ballora's gonna lo-ve you Y/N, you're so cu-te and grip o-nto my cock so tight~ " The praise immediately went to your crotch when he shifted slightly again. His hand finally moved down to feel around where your crotches were connected.
" Ho-w about we play a g-game? " His hand finally found your clit, giving it a fleeting touch before traitorously inching back up. You let a soft whine,
"W-What do you want to play?" Your voice trembled as you tried not to move.
" I'll fu-ck you really de-ep and soft but you ca-an't cum before Ballora c-omes back and lets yo-u " He laughed at his own harsh words, " If you be-g me to touch you i'll w-in"
A warmth flooded your senses at the thought of Ballora touching you, the rules were simple enough and the stakes weren't too high right? You were mainly excited to have the chance to see Ballora again, you yearned for her soothing aura.
"That seems a little unfair Freddy" You huffed, "But let's do it" He grinned widely at how out of breath you already were but still nodded against you. Thankfully he moved slowly, easily lifting you just a little with one hand before letting you slide back down.
All you had to do was hold back until she came back! That's easy enough, but the thought that it might take her a while to get back struck you hard as Freddy shifted under you with a groan and your body lit up with pleasure. You did your best to relax into him, letting him move however he wanted.
" Jeez you're just gon-na sit back and let me u-se you? You're not very fun! " You gave a half hearted glare at the comment, delicately rapping your knuckles against the side of his face.
"Well I'd help you out more but since you wanna play a game I can't" You shot back while he laughed at the feeble punches you gave him. Freddy pushed his hips into you, effectively dismantling your demeanor as another moan got the best of you.
" I don't mind it! You lo-ok real cute bouncing on my cock even if you aren't try-ing " Once Freddy learned what made you tick he seemed to never forget, in response you closed your eyes and turned away from him. You were already worked up, anymore and you were sure to lose.
You tried to focus on something else, biting your lip to keep any embarrassing sounds down as Freddy continued to slowly thrust into you. Thankfully he stopped making his occasional comments but it came at the price of having his warm breath right next to your sensitive neck.
The reason they were even designed with any sort of breathing was lost on you but you suspected it must have been some kind of way to prevent overheating. Your thoughts were scrambled once again as he finally started to thrust harder into you.
" It's okay if you lose Y/N! It won’t be that bad, promise " Bon-Bon whispered to you, you'd forgotten he was even there but the sentiment was nice. His soft paw continued to pet your face in an effort to comfort you. You finally managed a smile, opening your eyes to find him smiling back.
The next few minutes went by in a blur, pleasure steadily building up despite your own efforts. Freddy seemed to be genuinely enjoying himself as he kept up a punishing pace. Would not cumming even be worth it at this point? You'd stop keeping count of the seconds that passed by and now you were closer than ever, debating all your past decisions.
As if Freddy was reading your mind he slowed down, stopping almost as if he was taking pity on you. Half of you wanted him to keep going, but you were silently grateful. Freddy laughed quietly as he watched you squirm at the lack of movement.
" I'm gonna give you a bre-ak, you're about to pop! " He laughed even harder, " Ballora might take a while, why don't you just gi-ive in? I might not st-op next time~ " You didn't understand what he found so hilarious about the situation he'd put you in but you just nodded and tried to calm yourself down.
Your clit ached for attention and you were genuinely debating on taking him up on his offer. You studied his expression, his massive antsy smile making you itch to wipe it off his face.
"I'm gonna beat you Freddy" You muttered through gritted teeth, his smile getting impossibly bigger at your harsh breaths. He quickly started up again, taking your taunting words more seriously than you'd expected.
Your head once again got fuzzy with pleasure and soft moans left your lips, and minutes passed too slowly yet much too fast. Tears filling your vision as you tried to stave off your orgasm, now regretting the boasting you'd attempted to do. Your brain was ready to try to form a cohesive thought and beg for Freddy to touch you when a door finally opened.
You blinked your tears away as Freddy abruptly stopped his movements. Ballora walked in as oblivious as ever with a trail of minireenas just behind her. You wanted to call out to her immediately but the words died in your throat when Freddy unexpectedly started moving again.
" Jeez Ballora what to-ook you so long? He asked, unabashedly still using you even if it mortified you.
" Freddy…? What are you doing? Is Y/N with you? " Worry filled her voice as she got closer, you wanted to say something to her but all you could let out was an embarrassingly wanton moan at a particularly hard thrust.
" Y/N's right here! The-re's no need to worry, I've got her sa-fe and warm! She was even sweet enough to wa-rm up my cock for me " You stared at the ground in shame, silence filling the room except for the constant shlick shlick of Freddy driving himself into you. Ballora stood in shock for a second and you were sure if she could blush she'd be the same shade of red as you were.
She silently started her stride again, quickly getting to you before carefully sliding to kneel in front of you. Freddy thankfully dropped his grip on your torso, letting you freely move. Ballora opened her arms in a simple gesture but you had to stop the sob of relief that tried to escape.
You almost collapsed into her, arms tightly wrapped around her as you were momentarily distracted from the onslaught of pleasure you were receiving. Thankfully she didn't say anything about your current predicament, instead opting to gently rub at your back.
" Oh darling what happened while I was gone? " She asked quietly, " Is Freddy being mean to you? " You laughed against her chest, new found tears slowly falling.
"Yes, he said I couldn't cum until you touched me" You didn't care if you stretched the truth a little, you already felt more at ease in Balloras hold.
" Hey! That's no-ot true! She decided to play with me and she's just ups-et that I didn't make it easy! " Freddy protested with a frown, making sure to punctuate his words with a particularly hard thrust. You made a protesting sound at his harsh treatment but didn't correct him.
" Y/N don't lie to me, i wouldn't want to have to punish you when you're so close to cumming " You shivered at the familiar words but just nodded against her, too ashamed to say anything else. She went back to rubbing your back in a soothing manner,
" If you just wanted me to touch so you could have said so darling, now let me help you princess " Ballora's kind words cut right through you, making you soft and pliable to anything she said. She easily sat you up before her hands roamed your body.
Long, elegant fingers gently traced your face and neck as she took her time mapping you out. They traced your sweater all the way down to the hem before slipping under and pressing into your stomach. Ballora leaned towards you to pepper kisses on your face, smooth metal lips cooling your overheated skin.
"Ballora…" You whined, as much as you enjoyed the attention your legs were an uncomfortable mix of numb and extremely oversensitive. You weren't quite sure how much more you could take.
" Give me a second honey, be a good girl and let me take care of you " Her lips quirked up at the mewl you gave in response before easily getting back to letting her hands roam lower.
" Y/N r-really likes it when you compliment her~ " Freddy huffed, movements unexpectedly slowing down as he pushed as far as he could into you. You weren't sure why he'd stopped until the feeling of his cum spewing into you keyed you in.
"That's not fair" You said weakly, one word away from whining before you let out a squeak as Ballora briefly pinched your thigh.
" Behave Y/N " Was the only warning she gave but your fizzled brain took it harsher than she probably meant it to sound, reflexively your eyes watered slightly.
" 'm sorry" You mumbled as you leaned back into Freddy, needy for any kind of attention that would release the pressure between your legs.
" Don't be so me-an to her Ballora " Freddy haphazardly pet your ribs with his free hand, " I've had her here for alm-ost 30 minutes, our little cumdump is just a li-ttle frustrated " You could feel your face burn at the name he called you,
"I'm not-!" Before you could even finish your sentence Ballora's smooth fingers finally grazed your aching clit. It was as if she flipped a switch inside you and you had to try to quickly censor yourself.
" I don't think she minds me being a little mean now do you Y/N? " She cooed sweetly as her fingers explored further down. A soft moan escaped you as she gently felt around as if she was mapping out how filled up you were.
It was the most intimate thing you could possibly think, her fingers following your puffy folds, applying featherlight pressure until they led to where your abused hole was stretched past your limit. She firmly rubbed the crease where Freddy’s cock and your folds met,
" See her cunts still sopping wet, were you excited for me baby? " Freddy let out a wheezing laugh at her choice of words,
" I think she is, every time you ta-lk she gets so-o tight " The way they talked about you as if you couldn't even respond made your head incredibly fuzzy, whoever programmed them must have known what they were doing.
You watched in anticipation as her digits finally traced their way back to your clit, you were a moaning mess by the time she finally started applying pressure. And naturally it didn't take long for her to bring you to the edge, you squeezed your eyes shut as you finally let the pleasure wash over you. You came to your senses when a familiar pair of lips pressed against your neck for a second,
" Didn't want you fainting on me dear " Ballora joked, you shared a breathless laugh. She let your brain catch up before she got on her feet to slowly lift you off of Freddy, thankfully helping you stand after. She held your close, waiting until you were steady on your feet to let go.
" How about we get you cleaned up, take you to the kitchen, maybe a cup of tea before you go? " She kneeled behind you in an unexpected motion, making you regain the blush you'd almost lost as she helped you get your underwear and pants on unprompted.
"It's already time to go?" You ask as you try to swallow your disappointment, catching a glimpse of Freddy tucking himself up and hobbling on his feet.
" You spent a lot of time with Foxy~ " He teased, only laughing harder at the glare you gave him.
" I'm afraid so dear, how about you come back next Saturday? I'm sure we'd all like to see you again " Ballora pressed a kiss to your hips before pulling your pants all the way up and letting you fiddle with them. Your ears burned warm at the thought of coming back, did they like you that much?
"I'll… try to come back I promise" She seemed pleased with that response as she got up and pulled you into another warm embrace which Freddy jumped in on as well.
" Good, now let's go get you ready to leave sweetie " You still weren't sure if the warm feeling in your chest was warranted but this time you didn't fight it off. While you didn't find solace in casual trespassing like you had planned, but getting your brains fucked out by two animatronics and coddled by the other bought that idea out by a landslide.
I have written a little about how Sakura is written to be irrelevant throughout the narrative by Kishi, and as a result, demeaning her character through the literary tool of subversion. Here's another example of how Kishimoto makes Sakura's character redundant and very intently makes her the laughingstock of the manga. Like I have mentioned before, he gets some kind of perverse pleasure out of showing both Hinata and Sakura down and he would go a painstakingly intricate and at times, long way to do it too.
I will be publishing a longer write up about this subversion that Kishi uses for Sakura as an answer to an ask but I am writing this particular post separately because this bunch of chapters portray a series of incidents where Kishi really does it without any subtlety and is pretty in your face about it too, like you can viscerally feel his disdain towards Sakura's character just wafting over and it has made her a huge target for ridicule, it has become a ubiquitous topic for very popular jokes and memes even outside the fandom, lol.
Okay, so the chapter I am talking about is chapter 675 where Sakura has just been kamui'd out by Obito from his space time dimension to protect her from Madara's attack after she fails to stab his rinnegan eye. But she never had much determination to speak of unless it had to do with showing off to Sasuke and Naruto, mostly Sasuke. What is interesting to notice is that it also pointedly harks back to something else that she did (or didn't do lol) with her kunai which resulted in a frustrated and (greatly) annoyed audience, courtesy Kishi.
Tumblr media
Her nervous expression, the trembling kunai just centimetres away from its target but unable to reach it, failure to do it anyway, giving an opening to her opponent that could have easily been avoided had she been a little more resolute (no one really asked her to take on Sasuke though, that was her own decision given her poor sense of judgment, fighting strategy and skills), getting attacked by the opponent and then getting rescued by someone. Mostly Naruto.
#Redundant
Anyway. She couldn't do anything, having failed to stab Obito's eye so she is transported back by Obito and she joins Kakashi and Sasuke who are waiting for Madara to return. She sees Kakashi's condition and starts to heal him. Naruto leaves his clone to hold Madara's shadow captive with his sage of six paths staff and returns to Sasuke's side, his better half of the 'main act' of the war which has already been established at this point.
So seeing Sakura healing Kakashi, he takes over from a resisting Sakura and heals him. The ONE thing that she could do and not feel redundant in the trio is taken away from her, lolol.
Tumblr media
He not only heals him, he gives him a brand new eye, something that is beyond the reach of prevailing medical jutsu itself. How can Sakura even hope to compete with this? Lolol. Kishi, you sadistic so and so! You won't even let her catch a break.
Naruto can't explain and doesn't even understand how he did it and it took Sakura years of effort to learn medical jutsu and achieve a stage where she could even use her mitotic regeneration jutsu. Hahahahaha.
#Redundant
Okay, now then, Sasuke tells Naruto to keep his guard up while Sakura is acting like her usual pointlessly high handed self trying to condescend to Naruto who just made her presence utterly pointless, and Kakashi starts to reminisce about team seven dynamic. Kakashi, a man who has a very shallow understanding of his team members (he thinks Sakura's love has changed from what it was and that she is kind and gentle lol) and not at all about Sasuke, which he thankfully admits.
But what's funny to me is that Kishi was totally focusing on showing Sakura down, mercilessly. So Kakashi is seen reminiscing about their first day in team seven.
Tumblr media
Sakura squealing like a typical immature fangirl crushing over an entirely disinterested and quite embarrassed boy, while having no other goal or objective. While Naruto announces his goal to surpass the current hokage, Sasuke divulges his ambition of restoring his clan's honour and killing Itachi, Sakura just blushes and squeals.
Kakashi thinks she is kind and gentle (because of course he has never seen Sakura treating Naruto, at times even a badly injured Naruto, like a punching bag and manipulating him and everyone else for her ill conceived plans), she has grown and her love for Sasuke has matured because she still cares about him even though he tried to kill her in kage arc. Oh sure, running after a boy and begging for his attention no matter what the circumstances or timing is totally what a mature woman would do, lol. Thing is, he has got blinders on when it comes to Sakura because he obviously very conveniently forgets that Sakura attacked Sasuke first, in fact, she went there with the sole intention of killing Sasuke, while not knowing the truth but suspecting something, after having orchestrated a plan that included fake confessing to Naruto (#rejected lol), drugging her team mates and armed with a puny poisoned kunai which she didn't have the presence of mind to deduce would be pointless against Sasuke who trained with Orochimaru for years, some medical ninja, lol.
Kakashi treats her with kid gloves and doesn't understand Sasuke's feelings or motivations given his own lack of perception and failure to understand the intricacies of emotions and relationships, he makes a lot of faux pas when it comes to his team seven members. Kishi knows that these are the questions any reader would ask since these elements were given such consistent visibility in the manga and such consistent characterisation to the players, he is not an idiot. So he uses indirect and subtle techniques and narrative elements, and forces the reader to ask questions and then provides the answers. How? By showing, not telling. Okay, a little telling as well.
Kishi has already established, through Kakashi's interactions with Obito, that Kakashi is definitely flawed as he writes him to admit that he tried his best but he made mistakes.
Tumblr media
And that it can be contributed to his past, when he lost his father so cruelly along with his team mates. He also admits that giving false hope to Sakura when Sasuke is about to abandon Konoha was wrong. And what this proves is that Kakashi isn't infallible. His hypocrisy is very apparent when the core of his principle is to cherish his comrades and yet couldn't even attempt to understand Sasuke, given Sasuke's excruciatingly disturbing and scarring past. And even at the end, he expects Sasuke to behave and acts like it was all Sasuke's fault, not having understood him at all. The reason Sasuke gave up at the end was due to the revelatory experience he had with Naruto in chapter 698. Kakashi is emotionally stunted, perhaps which is why he is so good at being an ideal shinobi. A shinobi doesn't cry, doesn't emote, doesn't complain, doesn't break orders and protects his village with his life. Anyway, what becomes clear is that Kakashi's emotional perception is quite affected and far from accurate for sure.
Anyway, so Kakashi reminisces about what he perceives as the team seven dynamic after Naruto heals his eye and then reminds Sasuke of the first lesson he taught them when they were rookies. Sasuke remains meaningfully silent and only grunts. He obviously has a very low opinion of Kakashi, justifiably, as was established in kage arc and the succeeding chapters after this one emphasize it even more. Heh.
Tumblr media
So what does 'Team Seven' decide on?
TEAMWORK.
Where was this notion of Team seven teamwork emphasized on the last time before this? Here.
Tumblr media
Where Sakura is seen nursing her past insecurities and ramping her ego to join Naruto and Sasuke in the fight because she can't tolerate being protected by them anymore like a damsel in distress.
She thought she was a full fledged kunoichi after passing her genin exams, lol.
Tumblr media
Anyway, so she doesn't want to gaze at the boys' back, meaning being shielded or protected by them, as they proceed to take on their opponent. And she manages to punch and make a dent while insulting her own sensei, like some badass that she definitely thinks she is, it becomes quite clear from her body language and expression.
Problem is, her feeling so good about herself (I have finally caught up to them) and acting like a badass is very disproportionate with her actual actions and contribution to the battle. Which is why it creates a dissonance in the reader's mind. As she keeps pulling the same shit over and over without changing or improving things, even after having certain realizations, she creates a negative impression of herself in the audience's mind. She doesn't evolve to be better in a manga where characters learn and grow as a rule which then contributes to the main plot, this is a coming of age story as well after all. Same with Hinata.
Btw, Hashirama saying her strength might be greater than Tsunade doesn't mean shit. Because he actually hasn't seen what his grand-daughter is capable of. Her strength is greater than Raikage, as Madara notices after fighting all the kages. Someone as strong as Naruto struggled to fight against Raikage when he tried to stop him from joining the war effort and so Bee had to intervene on his behalf. She couldn't even fight average cloud ninjas Omoi and Karui, lol. Like c'mon, they aren't even portrayed as some super strong, special ninjas, they are a hardly more than comedy fodder. But Kishi won't even let Sakura take some fodder level ninjas, lol, it's embarrassing. And what happens? Naruto comes to her rescue, as always. Heh. No way Sakura is stronger than Raikage, lol.
Why does Kishi do things like these? These obvious contradictions that he knows are very visible to anyone who pays attention? Especially with Sakura, where other characters like Kakashi, Shizune, Hashirama and Jiraiya remark positively about Sakura? To build expectations, make the reader anticipate some awesome action from Sakura, something that would actually justify these positive remarks in the narrative, building the premise of the action, escalating it, but then right at the moment of dramatic and narrative payback, 👎. He makes Sakura fail pathetically (he does the same thing with Hinata) by subverting the narrative development and tropes, by not satisfying the readers' expectations that he so painstakingly develops, by writing the most anti-climactic of actions at the end. No payback whatsoever. What does an actual payback look like? Cue Might Guy's opening all of the eight gates, when he smashes Madara's ribs in as he breaks his own bones in the process. Cue Tsunade grunting like a warrior goddess as she thrashes Madara's clone beyond recognition. Even Sakura when she punches the ground real hard and takes out little juubi soldiers.
He sadistically wastes all that effort that builds up the anticipation.
And what does doing that achieve? Simple. It makes the reader get really annoyed/dissatisfied with the character. And they feel compelled to berate or ridicule her character. And why won't they? They invested in the character and his/her actions in the narrative for a grand payback, watching multiple episodes or reading multiple chapters carefully, and when they don't get it, they would naturally be frustrated. Kishi consistently pulls this shit over and over again with Sakura and Hinata. And why would he go to such lengths to do shit like this? Well, it's not because he wants to make these ladies look credible or worthy. Heheh.
This is exactly why fans who don't see everything through rose coloured glasses, shipping lenses or have a good taste and a good understanding of characters and the human condition, and actually pay attention to what they are watching or reading, are so annoyed by these characters. Notice I am not saying disgusted or hateful (although some of y'all are) but mostly really annoyed and frustrated. Sakura and Hinata, more than anything else (although they are all those things too, like distasteful, boring and cringey lol), are simply annoying. Because of the reason I explained above.
Kishi is fucking relentless about it too. After this sense that he gives the reader of team seven dynamic, he pulls this shit here. No Sakura, no team. Just Naruto and Sasuke being the main act.
After which, we see Naruto and Sasuke fighting together or separately, but not with the team. But after they are given the sage of six paths power by Hagoromo, they fight together, well in sync with each other. Like they are meant to be. Sasuke bosses Naruto around, like usual, Naruto complains nostalgically but you can see he is totally enjoying it to the hilt. And both of them get shit done. Naruto stops Madara's shadow successfully as Sasuke skillfully slashes Madara's physical body in half. But before he can react further, Madara flies to Kakashi, steals his sharingan and just shoves it in his socket, because it really is that simple lol, enters Obito's space time dimension and attacks Sakura. Now Sakura has no idea about Madara's powers, not having fought him at all directly, and definitely not having fought with the juubi jinchuuriki Madara. So where on the one hand, you see Sasuke and Naruto thoughtfully device strategies to fight Madara, Sakura actually is totally clueless. But Kakashi reminds them of 'teamwork'.
So then Madara finally appears and then this happens.
Tumblr media
Hahahahaha. Teamwork? What teamwork?Sakura doesn't even know what Madara's strengths or weaknesses are. And just as expected, he stabs her in the chest and stops her punch with his Limbo jutsu. Payback? What payback? Readers who sympathized with Sakura? Disappointed. Readers who wanted returns on their investment, disappointed. But people who understood what she was really like? Vindication. Lol.
She did the same thing here that Hinata does in Pein arc, when she charges at Pein without putting any thought into it. Hinata did it to attract Naruto's attention. And why did Sakura do it?
Tumblr media
And what happened in both cases? Long build up resulting in them getting struck with a single hit and then being rescued by someone else. Naruto doesn't even acknowledge Hinata and Sakura droops because Sasuke ain't paying attention to her. So much for team work. Lol.
But what impression does it give to the reader?
1) Sakura's love for Sasuke didn't really evolve did it? It's the same when in part one, she climbs the tree by gathering chakra in her feet to impress Sasuke but Sasuke doesn't pay attention to her and she slumps, highly disappointed. Same as here.
2) She makes it look like she is creating an opening by using a diversionary tactic, but it's quite obvious she is really scared, but is still trying to show off to Naruto and Sasuke because she doesn't wanna stay behind, gazing at their backs again. So she attacks Madara blindly. Her desire to show off and strut around trumps her desire to actually defeat Madara. What a shinobi, lol. This is a freaking war, and she is fighting against a super strong villain who is bent on destroying their world as they know it, but she is more concerned with nursing her own shortcomings. Self centred, yes. And definitely not a badass. Just ass. Hehe.
After getting rescued by Naruto yet again, she wallows in sadness when Sasuke doesn't even glance at her but immediately calls for Naruto, who btw totally gets what he is indicating at without needing to say it out loud. Yay, team seven. Lol. So while Sasuke and Naruto get into form and fight Madara, what does Sakura do?
Tumblr media
Precisely nothing. Just sitting there in awe of Sasuke and Naruto. Spellbound at Madara's jutsu and power, that she didn't know zilch about. Kakashi is pretty pointless here as well, but he wasn't the one who just proclaimed they remembered the teamwork lesson and jumped in a fight without any plan. At least, he had the presence of mind to stop Sakura from joining in the fight when Naruto and Sasuke charge at Madara and she again finds herself watching their backs, as he tells her to not do it unless she has a plan. And she does stop, lol. She doesn't have the power or strategy, just ego. All she wants is to impress Sasuke and show off to Naruto and others, who cares there's a war going on? Lol.
3) It becomes pretty clear who the real team is here. And Sakura is very pointedly missing from it. And it stays that way till the end, staying true to the real team seven dynamic. The Main Act.
So after hyping up the team work element, Kishi discards Sakura's inclusion with a ruthless but consistently written treatment and makes her...?
Redundant.
She couldn't heal Kakashi, she couldn't punch Madara. And she didn't mature, like Kakashi believed. Still pretty useless. Lol.
I am aware that her stans only read the most surface level. How else would they justify something they invest so much in? But unfortunately, it's a fact and not a matter of opinion that Kishi never intended to portray her positively and he certainly puts a hell lot of effort to do so in a clever manner. It's not a coincidence that she (along with Hinata) is such a hated character. It's because she has been portrayed that way. Storytelling and visual language are intuitive by nature. All I am doing here is decoding them. I am writing here what you already know. I am just explaining the how of it. Excuse the digressions lol.
(😈 chaos hype anon here and the devil emoji shall be my identifier)
I'm laughing at how crowley lost, dawn truly has a strong faith in his wife tho its beautiful.
Okay out of curiosity, how would the family tree look like for the lilia dawny and mc ot3?
[Masterlist; specifically this ask]
Hello 😈 Anonie,
I love the emoji you chose, gives a very chaotic vibe 💞💞
Heheheh I will take any opportunity to make fun of Crowley 😂🫶 and I wanted to show Dawn’s devious side more, can’t be around Lilia, Draconias, and MC and not develops a mischievous side.
I’m glad you asked! I tried to think of it a bit and not everything is set in stone, but this is what I have thought so far. I’m probably forgetting some details too, as you can see…it’s complicated lolol
Tumblr media
Behold!!! My chicken scratch! 🤣🤣
Short answer: The family tree is a maze.
Long answer:
Red - married:
Meleanor and Levan
Lilia, Dawn, and YN
Blue - platonic: (i forgot a few lines, oops)
Dawn and Lilia: Bromance
Meleanor, Levan, and YN: In- Laws, family, sibling like relationships
Lilia, Meleanor, & Levan: siblings/best friends
Dawn, Meleanor, & Levan: family/siblings
Malleus and Lilia: father figure/uncle and son/nephew
Silver and Malleus: Brothers/sibling relationship
Dawn and Malleus: Maybe an uncle figure? Nephew?
Silver, Meleanor, and Levan: Aunt/Uncle and Nephew
Green - children:
YN, Dawn, and Lilia: Silver (the reason the line is blue and green for Lilia and Silver is because Lilia and Silver see each other as father/son)
Meleanor and Levan: Malleus
Lilia and Malleus can have a green/blue line too because of their father/son like relationship too.
And I believe that’s it 🧐, I hope it made sense 😈 Anonie. I know I got a bit confused at times.
[This is the 20th ask for OT3, we reached a milestone 🥳🥳]
There were two playful pups in the woods you inhabited, as a fae of these woods you made sure to every and all creatures who lived here. The Oak father’s guardian they called you, you were proud to be of help. The two pups looked up to you, often too playful to help you when creatures had disagreements, but their company was like sunshine after the storm. They were strange to some as they took on human names upon their nameday. The first one took the name Joseph, in honor of a human who gifted him a picture of himself. He is the one most fascinated by human, specifically, their inventions that allow one to capture a moment perfectly. Not like a painting, this is different and mystical to him. The sound one took the name Claude, named after the brother of the man he saw build something to contain the fire and power many working gears. Both of them loved humans, loved everything about them, and they hoped one day to be part of the human world.
Most thought them strange, even offensive when Joseph brought what the humans call a heliograph. The first image he took was of his brother, you smile recalling the joy they both had upon seeing the developed image when the human allowed the first pup to borrow it. The second brother liked drawing plans, many ways for the human he admired to use his device. There was peace but such peace does not last… Humans are always advancing, taking, and soon they took from the woods not only the land but a life.
Claude was killed by a human with a weapon that shot metal. There was no choice but to invoke the rite of thorns and seal the woods off from further interference from humans or any who wished harm upon the land. This included the first pup.
From heliograph to daguerreotype then a camera. You saw no harm, you know he was studying to distract him from his brother's death, but he grew distant. Surrounded himself in time that long since passed, to be forever trapped in one moment of time, to escape to where his brother is alive in those many pictures he took. He stopped using his pure wolf from long ago, he dresses like a human but the traits of his heritage remain. You… Often wished he would come back to the Oak Father's embrace, you wished his grief did not lead him down a dark path.
The rite of thorns sealed away everything for a time, its power strong. Sadly, it did not keep the humans out for long, the Oak Father was dying and thus his power no longer was as strong as the oldest trees in the woods. Greed, the greed of humans drew them back to the woods. You heard from one of the humans that the land was ‘brought’ by someone rich. It makes no sense to you how someone can buy something that no one had claim or ability to offer. You are disgusted. The industries have no respect, they only take. “We can build a new home.” The voice of a man you at first do not recognize appears as you lay beside the oldest tree left in the woods, here your paradise and the spot you choose to become one with nature. He lurked in the shadows before stepping in the light and there you sit up, weak and tired, to see the pup. The pup turned a wolf.
“I will take good care of you,” A hand over his heart, “I promise.”
A net flies above your head and you are captured.
Tumblr media
Your friend, the last of those who were created by the Oak Father, has become someone you do not recognize. He talks down about the humans he once loved, he uses them to create his new paradise.
The woods are a ‘backyard’ for him as the manor is built on the grounds he bought. It is offensive to see the greed the humans have is embraced by a creature of the woods. Joseph's smile is fake, his laughs are fake, and the way he speaks sweet nothings to those who are charmed by him is fake.
You do not realize how popular Joseph is until he brings you into the human world, he is loved by so many yet he says it is all hollow. He learned to match it, adapt, and control the paradise he created. He indulges in many things and he plans to do the same with you. After all, you are only alive because he ‘saved’ you.
“Have a little trust in yourself!” The way he smiles feels empty, “I know you can take it.” You nod, you know better than to reject the man he has become. Your wolf is no longer a pup, he frightens you now.
“Kill them.”
Entertainment, the power he lost the connection to upon turning away from Oak Father, but you still have it. You are still strong enough to help remake the world. There is pain but he always kisses it away.
“I love you.”
“...” You say nothing. He holds you close to him, grinning at the blood that soaks into the ground as a fertilizer for the new world.
