Nobody's Fool: Chapter 6
Pairing: EddieXReader
Summary: You have bartended for years after you were forced to drop out of college due to family circumstances. You have dated your fair share of musicians, had your heart broken by one particular one, and have learned they are not be trusted. You have sworn off of them for the rest of your life. Then, one night, a new band plays at the bar, and against your better judgement, you can't help noticing the lead singer and guitar player. Could he possibly be different from the ones who came before him?
Warnings: 18+ Only due to eventual smut and language. There is also a toxic family relationship with a narcissistic mother if that is triggering for you.

“Hey sweetheart, can I get another gin and tonic?”
You were passing by a table of rather drunk college boys, your least favorite patrons to serve because they were almost always self-entitled little pricks. As you did, the guy asking for another drink reached out and smacked your ass. You fought the urge to hit him in the face, knowing you wouldn't have a job anymore if you did. Instead, you leaned down close, watching as his eyes went wide in surprise and excitement, incorrectly assuming that he'd just paid you a compliment or some shit.
“Touch me again,” you whispered, “and I will break your fucking hand.”
“Damn, baby’s got fangs,” his buddy laughed.
“That’s not all I got,” you tossed over your shoulder as you walked away. “Test me and you’ll find out.”
You knew if Joe had seen that, he would be reprimanding you. He drew the line where it needed to be drawn but he always felt you needed to make the customers happy. You'd gotten a tongue lashing from him two weeks into your job when some guy pulled you on his lap and you'd dumped his drink over his head. However, you weren't about to let some douchebag frat boy think it was okay to get grabby just because mommy and daddy taught him he could have whatever he wanted. You weren't some shiny new Rolex sitting in the window of a jewelry store. If his parents wouldn’t teach him manners, then you damn well would. Besides, Joe loved you. He might be pissed if they complained but he'd forgive you.
You walked behind the bar, preparing the gin and tonic. You leaned down, grabbing a fresh glass and setting it on the bar. You poured in the gin, a few dashes of bitters and then grabbed the soda gun to add the tonic. You reached over for a lime wedge from the bucket you'd prepared earlier, squeezing it over the glass.
“Well, hello there beautiful.”
You paused, lime frozen in your hand at the sound of that voice. It had been three days since your night out under the stars and you had lulled herself into a false sense of security. You had let yourself believe it had been one amazing night, one amazing night that you would remember forever but it would only be a memory now. He would only be a memory, a ridiculously sexy memory that you may or may not have thought about when you were alone...multiple times. Now, here he was, standing in front of you, and your brain had completely ceased to function, neurons misfiring, unable to find any words.
He stood, leaning on the bar, in all of his ridiculous hotness. Seriously, it should be against the law to look that damn good. Where did this man get off walking around like that? He was wearing a Black Sabbath tee tonight, a guitar pick lying gently against his chest on a chain. His hair was untamed and wild looking, waves falling gently over his shoulders.
“What are you doing here?” you asked, lime still poised over the top of the glass but your hand still.
He smiled, “This is a bar, right? I came in for a drink with my friends.” He gestured over to one of the tables where a group of people sat drinking and laughing. “And, I may have been missing that pretty face.”
“It’s been three days since you saw me. You can’t have been missing it that much if you waited three days,” you snapped. You had been going for a casual, teasing tone but were aggravated at how upset you sounded about it. You did not want this man to know how much it bothered you that he hadn't sought you out right away. It shouldn't bother you. This wasn't what you were looking for.
“Well,” Eddie tilted his head forward, his hands pressing against the bar as he leaned toward you. Your eyes instantly drifted down, focused on those beautiful hands, long fingers clad in chunky, silver rings. “I had to give you enough time to miss me.”
You inhaled a sharp breath, reminding yourself that you needed to keep your cool, but damn, he made it really hard when the simple presence of him had your skin blazing, tiny licks of flame dancing over flesh, threatening to engulf you. You shook your head, forcing your eyes away from him, squeezed the rest of the lime into the glass, garnished it with a wedge and lifted it up, walking around the bar.
“You really think you’re so amazing that I missed you? It was a great night but it wasn't that great. I haven't been sitting at home pining for you. So sorry. Do you need me to grab my fruit knife from the bar and pop that giant head of yours? There’s a thin line between confidence and cockiness, you know,” you said, walking past him to deliver the drink, hearing him laughing behind you.
You set down the drink, turning and running straight into Eddie. He had followed right behind you to the table you were serving. You stumbled backward and he reached out, one hand coming to your waist and the other on your arm, steadying you. Your body immediately responded to his touch and your thighs pressed together automatically, trying to ease the incessant throbbing that had shot straight to your center. You looked up at him and he gave you a Cheshire Cat grin, that tongue of his running along his teeth.
“You know you missed me,” he said.
“You live in a land of fantasy and delusion,” you stated, annoyed at the tremble you could hear in your voice. “I did not miss you. I didn’t even think about you. The thought of you never crossed my mind.”
“Really?” he teased, his hands grabbing your waist and pulling you close until there was not an inch of space between you, your bodies molded together perfectly. You had to fight the moan that was threatening to burst from your lips. “Not even once?”
“No,” you insisted, your voice breathy and not at all what you intended. You wanted to kick your own ass. You needed to get your shit together. How dare your own body turn against you when you were trying to be strong. You were trying to have principles, damn it, trying to save that traitorous heart that was pounding in your chest from more heartache.
“Hmm, why don’t I believe you?” he mused, brushing a piece of your hair behind your ear and you trembled at this slight touch. “I feel like your body is telling me something different.”
“Jesus, my body is telling you to go away,” you huffed, pulling away from him, even as every ounce of you felt disappointed at the loss of contact. “In case you haven’t noticed, I am at work. I have customers waiting.”
You strode purposely to the bar and away from him. Shit, you had to put some distance between them. He was breaking you down. This was way too intense, way too quickly. You could feel all of your resolve crumbling into pieces with each touch, each look, each word.
“Ohh…” Joey said, wiggling his eyebrows at you. “It’s your stargazing guy.”
You deeply regretted telling him anything about that night. He had not let you live it down since you did. He whined about how you took off, without hesitation, with some guy you had just met but wouldn’t give him one date after knowing each other for two years. You didn’t have the heart to tell him that he just wasn’t your type. He should be. You might have better luck if you were into guys like Joey, but you just weren't.
“Did he come just to see you?” he asked.
“No, he didn’t come to see me. He’s here with his friends,” you told him, gesturing to where he sat at a table with three other guys and two girls.
“And of all the bars in town that he could have gone to, he just happened to choose this one?” Joey teased, tilting his head, lips pursed in amusement. “I feel like that’s not a coincidence.”
You sighed, “Maybe they just liked this bar when they played here the other night.”
“I’m thinking he liked the service at the bar,” Joey laughed.
“God, can you stop?” you groaned. “He's just having some drinks and I'm working. Look, can you just go serve their table?”
“Nope,” he shook his head. “They didn’t come here for me and we both know it.”
“They’re customers!” you argued, needing to not have to go to that table. Each encounter was chiseling away at you, making you question why you made that promise to yourself in the first place. But you knew why. You would not be able to stick to your promise if you kept coming face to face with that man. “You are a bartender so go bartend!”
“You go bartend,” he laughed. “I’m not saving you. I don’t know why you’re avoiding him anyway. The way you made it sound, you had a really good time with him so just go with it. What’s the worst that could happen?”
The worst that could happen is you could fall hopelessly in love with him and then he would have the power to destroy you. That beautiful man over there had the ability to make you completely helpless and you knew it. He was dangerous. He terrified you and thrilled you at the same time.
“Can we get some drinks over here?” Eddie called, staring right at you with a smile.
“Your metalhead beckons,” Joey taunted, heading in the opposite direction.
“Goddamn it,” you muttered, abandoned. No choice but to serve the customers. You inhaled deeply, bracing yourself before walking to their table. You plastered a grin on your face, your teeth gritted tightly. “What can I get you?”
“Hi!” one of the girls said, way more excited to see you than she should be considering she had no idea who you were. “I’m Robin. You must be the girl this guy can’t stop talking about.”
“Damn, Robin,” Eddie muttered, his fingers coming to his forehead. “What happened to playing it cool?”
“Sorry,” she said, shrugging. “I sometimes struggle with social cues. It’s a thing. I’m aware of it but I just can’t seem to stop putting my foot in my mouth. We’re supposed to be cool so you don’t know how much he likes you. Personally, I think that’s stupid because why shouldn’t you know? He had such an amazing time with you. He's hasn't stopped talking about it since that night, well morning. That date sounded so romantic, like something out of the movies!”
You stood there, stunned, the girl’s words coming faster than you could absorb them. You knew you could be a bit much sometimes but you had nothing on this girl. She was like a little tornado of chaotic energy and rambling. Robin looked over at Eddie who just shook his head and raised his hands toward you like he was surrendering.
“So…that was awkward,” one of the guys said. “Sorry. Please don’t judge us all on Robin’s outburst. It’s nice to meet you. I am Steve.”
“Hi Steve,” you said cautiously.
“Nancy,” the other girl said, waving with a small smile.
“Gareth,” one of the guys said and you recognized him as part of the band as the other guy from the band introduced himself as Jeff.
“Hi…nice to meet you all,” you responded, wondering why they were all introducing themselves when you were just trying to get their drink orders. It wasn't like you were all hanging out. “So, do you guys know what you want to drink?”
Nancy sighed, “I think we overwhelmed her. See Robin, I told you to calm down. Now she's all weirded out by us.”
“No, I’m good. I can assure you, I am completely underwhelmed. I am just trying to do my job which is getting you drinks.”
They all gave you their order and you headed back to the bar to prepare them, lost in a haze of confusion, trying to figure out what in the hell was happening right now. It was like he wanted you to meet his friends, but why? As you were getting out glasses, Eddie suddenly appeared on the side of you, scaring the shit out of you, and you let out a small shriek, jumping and spraying him with the soda gun.
“Oh shit,” he said, looking down at his wet shirt, tonic water dripping down his face.
“Damn it, I’m sorry,” you groaned, grabbing a towel. You walked around the bar, instinctually pressing it against his chest to soak up the water on his shirt. You moved up, gently wiping down his face and as you eyes met his, so intently staring into your own with amusement, your breath caught. Jesus, why did your body forget how to do something so basic in his presence? You quickly looked away, “I’m so sorry about that. You startled me.”
“It’s okay,” he assured you, running his hands down his shirt. “It’s just some water with bubbles. No harm done.”
“I’ll, uh, I’ll have your drinks over there in just a minute,” you mumbled.
“Look, Robin already screwed up any chance I had at playing it cool,” he said, a small smile curling his lips. “I had this whole plan. It was a good plan but that went to shit. I didn't want you to see me as too eager. But you know what, what the hell? I had a great time with you the other night and I would really like date number three.”
You looked into his soft, brown eyes and you were sure you were a puddle on the floor right now. Joey would have to mop you up with the rest of the spills after work. This guy was going to be so much trouble for you, but if you could just try to keep your heart in check, you could have fun with him. And god, you wanted to have fun with him.
“I thought I told you it was only one day so it only counted as one date,” you countered, finding your bearings and returning his smile.
“Ahh, but it was two separate locations. It was a nighttime date and a morning date so I say that counts as two. I mean, the third date is kind of a big deal. It's the one where you pretty much decide if I'm worth your time or not.”
“Oh yeah?” you asked. “Well, if it’s such a big deal then what is your plan for the date?”
“Well, are you off tomorrow?”
“I am.”
“There’s a carnival,” he said, his fingers dancing along the bar and if you didn't know any better, you'd think he was nervous but that couldn't be. Guys like him didn't get nervous. They always got what they wanted so what did they have to be nervous about? “I thought that might be a fun time. I mean, who can say no to cotton candy, deep fried food, ferris wheels, and rigged games?”
“Not me,” you laughed. “I love that shit.”
“Perfect. Then how about I pick you up around six?”
“I suppose I can agree to that,” you replied with a small nod.
“Great,” Eddie nodded. “And sorry about my friends. I know they're a lot. They just really wanted to see this girl that I had such an amazing night with and, honestly, so did I.”
You pressed your lips together to stilt the huge smile that wanted to be let loose at this words, "It's fine. Your friends are sweet. Maybe a little nuts but sweet.”
“That describes them pretty well," Eddie agreed.
“Oh, hey, I have your jacket still,” you remembered, hooking your thumb toward the side of the bar. “I can go grab it from the backroom for you real quick.”
“Nah, you hold onto it. It might get chilly at the carnival tomorrow night and you might need it. Besides, my jacket looks pretty damn good on you,” he said with a wink that threatened to send you straight to the floor.
You watched as he walked back to his table of friends. The girls immediately leaned in and then you saw him saying something. They grinned and glanced over your way. Robin waved at you and you waved back, smiling in spite of yourself. Nancy rolled her eyes, grabbing Robin's hand and yanking it down, muttering something to the girl. Eddie glanced over, grinning widely. That boy might prove to be trouble, and you might be making a huge mistake, but you had to admit, you were really looking forward to tomorrow.

Not My Place to Say - Part 3/3
Third (and last, I think) part of a Stizzy fic. Second part can be found here:
(As usual, set some time after 2x07, Ed is happy being a fisherman somewhere and there was no Zheng fight and no Prince Ricky attack. As usual too, no warnings needed, except for the fluffiest fluff.)
Bonnet had politely waved him in and Izzy had walked into the cabin more confused than he had ever been before. Besides having just noticed the now painfully obvious similarities between Lestat and Bonnet, his mind was still reeling from Sprigg’s stupid words.
Because it was just a stupid idea, clearly, Bonnet being jealous? He was annoyed, that much was obvious, but that must be all. Izzy just had to discover what exactly had bothered the captain and then try to fix it before it could mess their relationship even more.
Bonnet was his captain now, but surely he didn’t expect to have a say in the first mate’s dalliances. Not even Edward had- no, better not go there, Izzy thought, because the truth was that Edward had never been bothered by who Izzy spent the night with because he had never cared. It was surprising and silly that this thought could hurt him, even after everything-
“…Izzy?”
Bonnet’s voice startled him and Izzy realized the captain had been talking to him, but he had been too wrapped up in his own thoughts to hear a thing.
“I was saying if you would want to have some tea with me,” Bonnet repeated with a soft smile that faltered when Izzy simply stared at him without answering. “Unless you’ve already had breakfast, of course,” he added then, looking slightly uncomfortable. “And I know you’d probably prefer a cup of coffee anyway, tea is probably not your thing-“
“It’s fine,” Izzy finally found himself saying. “Tea is fine. Thank you.”
Bonnet nodded, smiling lightly again and poured two cups of tea and Izzy sat there at the table, looking at his cup while thinking how the hell he was going to start that conversation when Bonnet cleared his throat and squared his shoulders as he looked straight at him.
“I wanted to apologize, Izzy,” he started, seriously. “I’ve been rude to you for no good reason and I was bringing the mood down when this shore leave was supposed to be a good time for everybody.”
Izzy stared wide-eyed at him, not used to a captain apologizing, especially for something as trivial as this, but before he could open his mouth to reply, Bonnet continued.
“I’m glad that-that you found somebody- well,… it looked like that man at the tavern was… nice,” he added, looking as if uttering those words was actually painful to him. “We’re still going to be here for two more days, maybe you could invite him here to have some drinks and meet the crew…”
“I don’t even know where he’s now, Bonnet,” Izzy replied flatly. “And I don’t care.”
The way Bonnet tried and failed to hide his relief almost made Izzy laugh out loud, but even as tired as he was after a sleepless night, Izzy had a reputation to uphold so he resisted the urge to even smile while he tried not to think about how Bonnet’s reaction had warmed him inside.
“We said goodbye, I don’t expect to see him again. He was just… some guy,” Izzy added after a pause, not really knowing why he felt the need to explain himself now. “I just felt lonely, I guess. And he was good company for a night.”
Bonnet’s face softened and he nodded in understanding with a sad, little smile, but then he turned serious once again.
“I guess I must be honest, Izzy. I was a bit upset last night when you left the tavern because…”
Bonnet hesitated then, looking slightly embarrassed and Izzy’s heart started thrumming in his chest wildly.
“I was worried that you weren’t going to come back,” Bonnet finally said, lowering his gaze. “I think deep down I’ve always been worried that one day you’re going to leave us for another ship, for a better crew,… for a better captain.”
Izzy gaped at him, bewildered. He hadn’t seen that coming at all.
“That’s-that’s absurd,” he blurted out, making Bonnet flinch. “I mean… leaving without a proper resignation would be totally unprofessional,” he added quite lamely.
“Well, actually, I never officially asked you to be my first mate,” Bonnet replied with a playful smirk.
That was true, Izzy realized in dismay. After Edward left he had simply kept going as usual, doing the first mate’s tasks, training Bonnet and the crew, but nobody had really asked him to be the first mate. What if they had simply let him stay out of pity? Why would they have chosen him anyway? It was not as if Oluwande couldn’t do the job, or Jim, maybe. What if he was just… tolerated on board as some old ratter dogs are because they are still useful?
Izzy’s tired mind was starting to panic, but then Bonnet, who must have noticed his inner turmoil, reached for Izzy’s ungloved hand over the table, stopping all his thoughts from spiraling any further.
“But that’s a mistake I’d like to fix right now,” Bonnet said determinedly as he squeezed Izzy’s hand briefly. “Would you want to be my first mate, Israel Hands? It would mean a lot to me if you said yes. And to the crew, it would mean a lot to all of us,” he added quickly.
Izzy stared at Bonnet’s kind eyes and wished he was better with words in situations like this. He was going to have to try, he guessed.
“Yes,” he said firmly and then he squeezed Bonnet’s hand tightly.
Bonnet’s smile was blinding.
“And you don’t have to worry about me leaving,” he added, forcing himself to be brave. “This is a good crew and you… you’re a good captain, Stede.”
The look on the captain’s eyes, so soft and so caring, was almost too much for Izzy so he lowered his gaze to look at their intertwined hands instead.
“The tea must be getting cold,” Stede said lightly, after a few seconds of silence. “We shouldn’t let it spoil after Roach took the time to make it for us.”
And he started drinking it without letting go of Izzy’s hand. The first mate hesitated for only a moment and then took his cup with his free hand to take a sip while he tried to hide a smile.
The tea was awfully bland, of course, but Izzy couldn’t care less.

Bearable | Haechan Imagine #2
Title: Bearable
Genre: Friends to Lovers, Slight Angst, Fluff
Warnings: mentions of insecurities (what else is new?)
Word Count: 705
Author's Note: I honestly have no idea what I was thinking while writing this. This is just a feeling I get often, and I had the sudden urge to put it into words. Am I selfish for subtly writing about myself in basically all of my stories? Yes, and that probably makes me a bad writer. So I'm sorry if it's bad lol.
─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─❀*̥˚─
Haechan silently observed you sitting beside him on the sofa. The clock read nine p.m., as the second movie of the night played on the television. Even though your eyes were glued to the screen, he could tell something was distracting you.
He knew by the way you were chewing on your lips and the way your fingers subconsciously dug into your palms. It only took one look at your nervous composure for Haechan to know that your mind was far away from whatever was happening in the movie.
“You’re going to tear off your skin if you keep doing that.” He scolded lightly, drawing your attention to him in slight alarm.
You looked down in guilt when he opened your hand to see the red indents from your nails. Your brain scrambled with something to say as he softly rubbed your palm. The stinging slowly began to fade.
“Care to share what’s on your mind?” Haechan asked, glancing up at you.
The softness in his eyes made you instantly tear up. You knew staying up all night with your best friend was a bad idea. All your senses seemed to shut off after 8:30, leaving you completely vulnerable.
“I just…” You started to say, looking away to blink back tears. “Seeing the couple in the film…just makes me sad.”
He half-chuckled at your cuteness, “Why does it make you sad?”
Haechan was the only person who saw this side of you. Not the (Y/n) who was always smiling in front of their friends, pretending as if her life wasn’t falling apart. Not the (Y/n) who casually belittled herself in conversations laced with sarcasm and dark humor. No, Haechan saw the (Y/n) who had a weak and sensitive heart.
“I really want to experience a love like theirs,” You said, breath shaky. “But I’m afraid it’ll never happen to me.”
“Why?”
“I mean, just look at me Hyuck. I’m a mess.” The bitter smile that appeared across your face made his heart crack. You spoke with such certainty.
“Seriously, I can’t think of one reason why you like me,” You sniffed.
Haechan was slightly taken aback by what you said. After four years of keeping it in, he finally confessed his feelings for you a few weeks ago. He made it clear that he didn’t expect an answer from you right away and would wait. Since then, the two of you went on and acted like it never happened. He didn’t expect you to bring the confession up now.
After a few moments, Haechan spoke up. “You may not like your hair or your body. You may not like the mole on your nose that you hide with your glasses. You may not like the stories you pour your heart and soul into. You may turn down any compliment that someone gives you.”
You met his eyes which also became watery. Just thinking about how poorly you saw yourself made Haechan’s heart hurt. That was how much he cared about you.
“But when I look at you,” He continued. “All I see is a smart and beautiful girl who doesn’t realize how strong she is. I love everything that you don’t like about yourself.”
His other hand reached over to catch the tears that streamed down your cheeks.
“I love you, (Y/n). And I’ll happily spend the rest of my life giving you the love you deserve if you’ll let me.”
His words were so warm and promising. There was no one in the world like Lee Donghyuck.
“I love you too,” You said through tears. It felt so good to say that out loud, after holding back because of your insecurities.
Immediately after that sentence, Haechan kissed you ever so gently. With one hand in your hair and the other around your waist, pulling you close to him. His touch gradually allowed the troublesome thoughts to temporarily fade away. You knew that they would come back another day. But all the darkness in your life was bearable as long as you had Haechan by your side.

Lol, that was season 5, but…
Holy shit so much information has poured all over us for the last two months, it’s hard to keep everything straight in your head. I broke my shoulder during Scandoval, I had endless time in bed, in pain, so I did a rewatch (I’m currently mid-season 7, and I’m not committed to seasons 8 or 9). Every episode. Every blowup, every fight, every meltdown, all the drunkenness and drug abuse, all the infidelity and accusations and denials and tears. And I have thoughts. For posterity, darlings.
I’ve learned (and seen with my own eyes—Florida Girl) that BOTH Tom AND Ariana had some kind of pact, and I think they both took it seriously until Tom abandoned it for Rachel, that they would keep their private struggles, whatever they might be, OFF the show and hidden from their castmates and “friends.” I believe with all my heart that nobody on the show or in production really ever questioned it. No one ever leveled an accusation at their relationship. Tom and Ariana were like the closest thing to an audience pov on the show. The DRAAAAMA was Jax, Jax, Jax, Jax, Stassi, Stassi, Stassi, Stassi, fistfights and party crashing and cheating and a breakup…! We were barely shown Tom and Ariana’s conflict over having children, which seemed significant when Tom said it was a dealbreaker, then immediately retracted it when confronted by Ariana. That, plus their difficulties with intimacy and Ariana’s body image issues, was all we knew. They had each other’s back to an insane degree for YEARS, because of this pact, and now the floodgates are open, And we know that when Lala tells Ariana about what really happened at that party the day Ariana’s grandmother dies, Ariana had a meltdown and refused to film with Lala, who had to sit at a table and wait while production talked Ariana down and got consent to film. That’s why she abruptly turns and yells for Tom to come join the Lala info dump, saying I’m not gonna do this, so…let’s get him. And he was absolutely stone cold caught in a lie right then and there.
How could Ariana so easily dismiss the certain knowledge, via Lala, who was there at the party with Sandoval (and Raquel), that TOM LIED TO HER ABOUT NOT FINDING AN UBER SO HE COULD STAY WITH RAQUEL. So, like, I feel like that should’ve been the red flag to end all red flags.
And she definitely had her doubts, no matter how hard she rode for him publicly, because her INTUITION told her to see what she could see when she had the perfect opportunity to look at his phone. The photos app I guess, which is the iOS camera roll. What a shock it must have been. It’s like you’re flying off the edge of the earth, right up into outer space, no tether to humanity because everything is a lie. UGH I RELATE and probably am projecting my shit onto Ariana, which I’m not trying to do fr fr.
Dude, if she had followed me she would have known I wasn’t at Schwartz’s WORST STATEMENT OF THE EPISODE CONGRATS SCUMBAG
But every time you stayed out late or overnight, Ariana checked your location, which was always at the complicit Schwartz’s house
So you left your phone there while you went off to Rachel’s?
Because OBVIOUSLY you’re no fucking stranger to her apartment (!!!)
There is no way in hell I would ever believe that Sandoval wouldn’t run to his work wife, in whom he has confided everything, and confess every detail, with a TON of drama because it’s Sandoval, to expunge his guilty conscience alllllll over Schwartz. Please. He knew everything from the jump, but of course he took no action beyond urging Sandoval to confess. For seven months. He knew. These people are such great liars.
Every line out of Ariana’s mouth, in her confrontation conversation with Tom, was poetry. Eloquent, blunt, sincere, honest, brutal, true. That woman! I admire her dignified reaction in this episode while also side-eyeing her own complicity in not wanting any breaches of the wall of positivity that she helped create. But everyone on this show has their good and their bad, and we’ve seen it all. Ariana’s very first episode! Disaster. She was playing a tough girl character, not herself.
Brittany is the exception to that and has never done anything wrong or shady or hurtful or mean girl-ish.

Thanks so much and congrats again!
Part of Youvebeenlivingfictional’s 3K Follower Celebration
Thank you so much!!
Warnings: Sexual implications; cursing; fluff
Tumblr media
You don’t think he means it when he says it.
Javier talks in bed a lot—a lot—some of it becomes white noise, depending on how deeply enraptured you are with one another, how close the two of you are. Besides, you’ve had guys say all sorts of things in bed—it’s hardly the first time someone’s proposed marriage of all things.
But at least, for once, the things that come out of his mouth seem to stun Javier, too. The surprise riddles his features just after he’s tipped over the edge after you. You have to stop yourself from laughing, your body going tense as you cum. Your insides feel gooey, your skin feels hot, and the groaned proposal is still ringing in your ears.
Javier is climbing off of you in moments, sitting on the side of the bed and curling his hands on the fabric of the bedspread.
“Javi,” You sigh softly, “It’s alright.”
“What?” He asks distractedly, hands releasing the bedspread to fumble for the pack of cigarettes and the lighter on his bedside table. You roll your eyes just a little bit as you push yourself to lean back against the headboard.
“I didn’t think that was an earnest offer, if that’s what you’re worried about,” You add.
“...Good.”
“It’s just something that you said—”
“Right—”
“Because you like my pussy so much.”
When Javier casts a stunned look at you over his shoulder, you shoot him a sweet smile.
“Seriously,” You laugh, reaching out and gently shoving his shoulder, “Don’t worry about it. If I said yes to every time I’d been proposed to during sex, I’d have, like, eight ex-husbands.”
You climb out of bed, plucking your dress off of the floor where it’s been discarded.
“I’m gonna go get something to drink. You want anything?”
“...No,” Javier mutters. You glance back to see him raising his cigarette to his lips, taking in a deep drag. You have to fight the urge to go over, to cuddle up behind him and repeat your reassurances—but you know Javi, and you know how he gets if you crowd into his space when he’s in his head.
You know that Javier said that he didn’t want anything, but you pour a tumbler of scotch for the both of you regardless. If he really doesn’t want it, fuck, you’ll take it.
Your mind slips back to that moment in bed—to the sight of Javier’s head tipped back in ecstasy, his full lips parting in a moan, haloed by the light over his head. His jaw had been wracked with a shiver, the groan that left him came from deep in his chest. And then—
“Marry me!”
Two little words, terrifying and whined as his hips hammered against yours.
You shake your own head a little to try and knock the sound of him away. He didn’t mean them…And maybe that’s bothering you more than it should. Javier has told you time and time again that he’s not the marrying type, you’ve always known that. To hear those words from him at all, let alone the manner in which you heard them was…disheartening.
You glance back as you feel Javier’s hand slide around your lower back before he takes hold of the glass that you poured for him. He leans back against the counter beside you, raising his glass to his lips. You reach out, hooking your arm around his hips, your forearm brushing against his jeans. Maybe you should be alarmed that he pulled them on—but he hasn’t bothered with a shirt, at least.
Javier lowers his glass and then ducks his head, brushing his lips over your shoulder. You smile, giving his hip a gentle pat.
“...I didn’t mean to say that.”
“I know, Javi.”
“That’s not how I wanted to say it for the first time.”
Your stomach twists, the glass in your hand frozen in front of your lips as your heart thuds dully against your ribcage. You manage to tip your glass just enough, taking a sip as your eyes settle carefully, safely, on the kitchen cabinets. “Oh?” You manage once you’ve swallowed.
“No,” Javier murmurs, “No, the first time was supposed to be, you know…The right way.”
“...Since when have you considered saying it…The so-called right way?”
“Well, I am—Have been, you know.”
“No, Javier, I don’t know. I had no idea.”
“Well, you know now.”
You feel Javier glance at you, and you let your gaze drop to your drink.
“...Bad, huh?” He asks.
“Unexpected,” You correct, “And…Definitely something we should talk about before you ask—If you do decide to ask.” You glance over to see Javier nod, swallowing roughly.
“It doesn’t have to be tonight,” You add, “Just…Sometime.”
“Sometime soon,” Javier says firmly, meeting your eyes. You can’t help but smile as your stomach flurries.
“Sometime soon,” You agree, grinning as Javier ducks in for a kiss.

Tumblr media
The bubbling water is the only thing you focus on as you rest against the countertop, hands tightly holding onto your fluffy blanket of choice to trap all of the warmth in before it could escape. The rhythmic pattering of rain against the windows has become background noise now, already accustomed to the sound that woke you up hours ago.
It’s therapeutic really, your fuzzy socks sliding along the floor as you pull out your favorite mug, grabbing the hot chocolate mix and mini marshmallows from their rightful spot in the pantry. You don’t even think about the ridiculous electric bill you’ll be getting from how high you currently have the heater cranked up, freezing to death was not worth saving a few bucks.
Jungkook would agree, loving the fact that he didn’t have to worry about walking around the apartment in a snow coat and scarf. Sure you were currently bundled up as if the place wasn’t maintained at a steady 75 degrees, but from the time spent living together he had grown to learn that the minute there was rain or snow you would pull out the coziest blankets regardless of temperature.
“Can you make me one too?” He speaks up as he leans against the mini island, smiling when your blanket clad body jumps at the unexpectant sound of his voice.
The spoon clanks against the mug as you stop stirring the hot chocolate, turning your head back to take a peek at your roommate. “Don’t scare me like that.”
Jungkook laughs now, pulling up the sleeves of his shirt as he rounds the island to grab himself a mug. “What, should I wear a bell around my neck to let you know when I’m nearby?”
“Yeah actually, you sneak up on me all the time. You’re gonna give me a heart attack one day.”
You eye his mug of choice, a Friends one that actually belonged to you, a little hard to believe considering it was the one he always used without fail. It was admittedly your fault for forcing him to binge watch the whole show on Netflix before it got taken off, but for someone who claimed he couldn’t stand it all he sure did cradle the themed mug with utmost care.
“You’re easy to scare, can’t blame me for seeing an opportunity and taking it.” Sliding the mug in your direction he rests on his elbows, observing you as you pour in the hot water, mixing the cocoa powder and smiling when you get the first inhale of it.
“Scare me some more and I’m revoking this mug privilege.” Jungkook knows it's an empty threat, the roll of his eyes calling your bluff so you just sigh, clutching the bag of mini marshmallows and bringing them close. “Yay or nay for the marshmallows?”
“Yay, what do I look like, an animal?” He scoffs, hand urging you to top off his drink with more sweets, a charming smile spreading out onto his face when you slide the mug over.
Just as he’s about to take a sip you walk off, both hands cupping your drink as you slide your way out of the kitchen. “Wait, where are you going?”
You freeze at the doorway, turning around with a confused face, “To binge watch some movies in the living room? The vent by the couch makes it the best place to get toasty.”
“Mind if I join you?”
The audacity of him to ask as if he didn’t regularly crash your binging parties, still you nod your head before turning back around and continuing your trek, hearing the soft patter of his bare feet against the floor.
“Why did you beg me to get you those cow slippers for your birthday if you refuse to wear them?” You wonder as you settle onto the couch, adjusting your blanket to circle around your lap as you bring your knees up.
Jungkook sighs dramatically as he sits beside you, bringing his bare feet up and shoving them underneath the pile of blanket around you, laughing loudly when you yell at the feeling of his cold feet against your silk pajama pants. “Because they’re cute, besides I don’t need slippers because my roommate has the best blankets.”
Accepting your fate you simply glare at him, detesting the way he could look as good as he does while attempting to push your buttons. The smug smile against the rim of the mug shows that he knows he can get away with it, a playful wink being the icing on top as he reaches for the remote.
You ignore the way your heart skips as he clicks onto your profile, already sorting through your favorite movies, knowing they were starred and saved under your list. As he passes Legally Blonde you gasp, almost undetected but he had been waiting for any reaction to know what to pick.
“You know, this has become one of my favorite movies now.” He quietly confesses, pressing play and setting the remote down onto the coffee table.
“Seriously?”
Jungkook hums as he takes another sip, eyes focused on the beginning scenes of Legally Blonde. This was definitely one of your comfort movies, even if he didn’t end up crashing your movie night he could still hear each scene from his bedroom, almost knowing every single line from how often you played it.
He proves his point as the movie continues, the two of you slowly sinking further into the couch, no longer caring about him using your blanket as makeshift slippers as you laugh each time he recites a line, adding his own commentary as he goes. The mugs of hot chocolate are drained dry, pushed onto the coffee table, freeing up his hands that somehow wind up playing with your own in a mindless motion, slowly tracing down your fingers to gently clasp them together before pulling apart and repeating.
Just as Elle Woods takes the floor to question the witness, the entire room goes black, Jungkook’s hands freezing on top of yours as you wait for a moment. With the loss of power you instantly feel the warmth begin to fade away, the vent right beside the couch no longer providing you the toasty escape you wanted.
“It was getting to my favorite part.” He groans out, resting his head back onto the couch, something you can just barely see in the darkness.
“Fuck is the whole block out of power?”
Jungkook pulls his hand away from yours as he stands up, knocking his knee into the coffee table and laughing as he tries to navigate through the dark living room. His silhouette makes it to the window, peering through it to see if maybe it was just your building that was shit out of luck, but the entire block is in fact dark.
“Yup, it’ll probably come back soon though.”
Tumblr media
After two more hours and another mug of hot chocolate it became very clear that the power wouldn’t be coming back any time soon. Both of your phones lay screen down with the flashlight on as you finish up your drink once more, tightening the blanket around you now that the cold is becoming more prevalent.
“We’re gonna freeze to death.”
“No we’re not, it's a rain storm not a blizzard outside. We should probably call it a night though, the floors are getting cold as fuck.”
He had still refused to put on his slippers, allowing the cold tile from the kitchen to turn his feet into icicles. “You act like you don’t own socks or slippers.”
Jungkook merely waves you off with a laugh, grabbing his phone from its spot on the counter. “Let me live, good night!” His flashlight sways with every step, illuminating the trail before he disappears behind his bedroom door, leaving you with no other option than to retreat into your own room.
The door shuts behind you with a soft click, the rapid pattering of the rain against the window filling up the space and its no longer as therapeutic as it used to be now that you can feel the cold it brings with it.
Lighting up the candle on your nightstand, hoping the smell of gingerbread will convince your mind you’re not freezing, you settle into your bed. The feeling of your cold sheets against you has you whining, quickly pulling up the blankets at the end of the bed to warm you up as you ball into yourself.
It's only a few minutes later that you hear the gentle knocking against your door, the top of your head just barely peeking up from the mountain of blankets as Jungkook peers inside your room. The words he wants to say leave him when he takes note of the way you're being swallowed whole by different patterns.
“Holy shit, can you even breathe?”
“You wish you were this comfortable.” You laugh, tightening your grip on the blankets and pulling them snugly under your chin.
He shuts the door behind him as he steps further into your room, smiling when he gets the whiff of your candle. “That's actually why I’m here, can I steal a blanket?”
The idea of parting with even one of your blankets sounds like a sin, a frown etched onto your face as you contemplate it. “If you think I’m gonna give you one of these after you refused to use the slippers I bought you, you’re crazy.”
“C’mon,” he whines, sitting on the edge of the bed and toppling over to bury his face against the warmth, fingers clutching on when you try to wiggle him off of your legs.
“No, if you take one you’re gonna fuck up the balance I have going on right now.”
“Fine,” he grunts, but just when you think he’ll give up he starts to crawl over you, long limbs making their way to the other side of the bed. You feel the cold instantly as he peels off the comforter from the right side, making himself right at home as he slides underneath it in search of warmth. “We’ll share then.”
With the way he shimmies around, finding the best position to get comfortable, you know there's no way you can shake him. He smiles into the sheets when you grumble out a fine and turn over, not trusting yourself to be able to stare at his face from a close proximity and do something you’d regret.
A soft exhale leaves your lips as you force your eyes shut, ignoring the pounding in your chest as he inches closer so his legs don’t slip out from the blankets. You and Jungkook were roommates, and friends now underneath it all, but before you had crossed into friendship territory you realized you had a teeny tiny crush on him.
When you had first moved in he had a girlfriend, a girl you rarely ever saw since he preferred to go to her place, so it helped tame down the crush. But once they broke up and he began spending all of his time at home, the small bursts of his personality you would see lit that crush back up. It was always hard to tell if the way he behaved around you was just the way he normally acted or if he maybe had a small interest in you as well.
Forcing your mind from wandering deeper into fantasyland you nuzzle further into your pillow, pulling more of the blankets with you as you try to fall asleep. Jungkook feels the cold nip at his exposed ankle, huffing and flipping over to look at you with a small smile, the stolen blankets bundled around you nice and tight.
“Steal the blanket again and I’ll put my cold feet on you.” Is the threat he makes as his fingers clutch onto the top layer of blanket and tug it back. It's a threat you don’t take lightly, gaze narrowing as you turn your head to glare at him.
“You wouldn’t…”
His brows raise up at the challenge, jaw ticking out as he looks at you and before you can even react, he’s attacking, maneuvering himself around until he’s skillfully slipping his cold ass feet underneath the hem of your pants. You feel the cold instantly, a squeal of protest leaving you as you try to kick him away.
“Who the fuck sleeps with no socks in this weather!”
“Me, which is why I need the blankets you thief!” He laughs out, continuing to try to yank the blankets back now that you were distracted, pulling the soft fabric out of your fists as you start to admit defeat. With a small cheer of success he pulls the warmth up and over the both of you like a little fort, his eyes crinkling up in a smile as he stares at you, now positioned right on top of you.
Small pants escape your mouth as you slow your breathing, wide eyes blinking up at him as he refuses to move. The bed dips on either side of you as he holds himself up, lips still spread out in a smile, getting wider when he sees the way your eyes flicker down to them before looking back.
You wanted to kiss him, he knew this, had known of your crush since the very beginning. Jungkook had taken note of the way you would stumble over words whenever you spot him leaving the bathroom with just a towel around his waist, enjoying the flustered look on your face, that being the main reason he did it so often.
You thought you were slick, letting your eyes trace over the lines of muscle until it slipped behind the towel, but he simply let you get away with it, meeting your flustered gaze with that bunny smile you had grown to love. But as he hovers over you now there's no way he can pretend he doesn't notice the way your starry eyes stare at him, how you subtly lick your lips over.
With a small tilt to his head he finally breaks the silence, whispering gently inside of the little cocoon he had made. “I really want to kiss you.”
That gets him the reaction he wanted, the small gasp filling the air as your mouth drops open a tiny bit. “What?”
“Your lips look so soft, wanna kiss them.” His voice drops to a murmur, slow and husky as the words drawl out.
He wants to kiss you, something you’ve been dreaming of for months, and now your mind is betraying you as it struggles to unscramble the words needed to respond.
“Can I?” He asks, soft eyes looking directly at you and when you nod your head he tsks in disapproval, “Need to hear you say it love.”
The pet name makes you melt into your sheets, finally giving him a response as your brain releases your voice, “Y-yes, please kiss me.”
Jungkook smiles in appreciation before slowly inching forward, nose gently nudging against yours as he swoops in. Your eyes flutter shut when the softness of his lips press against yours, kissing back instantly at the first touch, your mind whirling at the intoxicating feeling. Jungkook can feel his heartbeat quicken when you let out a small sigh, your shy hands gaining courage and sliding up his sides until you’re cupping his face.
He winces at the icy feel of your fingers on his cheeks, the soft breaths of his laughter making you smile in between kisses, teeth knocking together as it begins to turn messy, the two of you just wanting more of each other now that the line has finally been crossed.
Jungkook lets you bring him in closer, balancing on his elbows as he slots himself between your thighs, the soft smacks of your lips blending in with the light crackle of the candle and the rain from outside.
A gentle nip of your teeth on his bottom lip earns you the first groan, the second coming when you trace your tongue along the seam of his mouth, slowly licking your way inside until it’s gently tangled against his own. Jungkook can feel his heart thrumming in his ears now, the realization that he was finally kissing you making his entire body warm up.
The way you had behaved with him, calling him bro, punching his shoulder whenever he told jokes in an act to force yourself from ruining the friendship, made him believe that this would never happen. He didn’t want to come across as the typical cocky boy who swore he could win everyone over but the way you’re gasping into his mouth, fingers moving to grasp around his neck to bring him even closer when he unconsciously rolls his hips into yours makes him feel like he just did.
Your wishful thinking had been true, the sweet gestures he did in day to day life stemming from the small inkling of a crush, something that had been planted the minute he started spending more time at home and around you. At first he thought nothing of it, chalking it up to enjoying spending time with his new friend, but soon enough he discovered he preferred to stay in with you, join you on your random quests to hunt for a new place to eat at, ignoring any other girl who showed any interest in him.
As the two of you continue to kiss inside the small makeshift fort, the air becomes stuffy, Jungkook pulling away with a small laugh. “Wait, can’t breathe.”
You let go of his neck and paw the blankets off your faces, the cool air of your bedroom finally being welcomed as you catch your breath.
“Better?” you question, smiling when he nods at you. “Good, now kiss me again.”
He doesn’t need you to tell him twice, lips cutting off the end of your sentence urgently, feeling the way you smile against him, your leg hooking over his hips like second nature. Jungkook feels like his head is spinning, the way your fingers move to rake along his hair, the soft gasps and sighs passed between you, he feels like a goner, the tipping point being your hips rutting up into his.
Both of you pause at the sensation, Jungkook moaning into your mouth as your clothed core grinds along the slowly growing erection pressed against you. “Y/N, don’t tease me.”
“Why?” you breathe out, pressing kisses along the side of his mouth and jaw as you repeat the motion, the usual fear of him not feeling the same long gone from your mind.
He drops himself further until his face is buried in your neck, goosebumps flaring out as his breath hits your skin when he speaks. “I’m trying to be sweet.” he murmurs, kissing your neck softly.
“You are being sweet,” you whisper, tightening your grip around his hip, smiling when he groans while you once again rut up into him. “Am I not being sweet? Just wanna make you feel good, Kook.”
Of course you were sweet, you always have been, it was the main reason his heart started to skip around you, why he clung onto your mug like a safety net, wanting to keep a small part of you with him. If you wanted to make him feel good he was in no position to refuse, wanting to reciprocate the sweet gesture instead.
Jungkook lifts his head up, dark waves falling over his face as he stares at you, wanting to see the look on your face as he gives the first roll of his hips into yours. He sees the way your teeth bite down onto your lower lip, pillowing the soft flesh out, mouth opening up to let out a gasp as he repeats the motion. There's never been a time where he’s been more thankful for a power outage than right now.
“Keep going,” you urge him on, sighing beautifully when he rocks against you again, hips nudging the leg hooked around his waist higher up with each slowly thrust.
“Fuck, you’re so pretty.” He sighs, taking a moment to fully admire you laid out underneath him, eyes sparkling as you stare up at him, mouth slightly parted as you groan at the small tingles of pleasure starting up inside of you.
“Wanna feel you.” The confession hangs in the air for a second, the trailing of your hand down his covered chest, fingertips tickling along the sliver of exposed skin above the waistband of his sweats, is what finally brings him back. His moment of admiration being broken as your hands slips past and gently grasps his hardened cock, the expected feeling of his underwear nowhere to be found because not only did Jungkook refuse to wear socks he also refused to wear underwear.
Your eyes widen at his size, already a nice handful and slowly growing the longer you hold it in your palm. As you give him a small pump you feel the exhaled grunt he lets out fan across your skin, his eyes falling shut as he pants out your name.
Jungkook gasps as your palm rolls over the head of his cock, thumb rubbing along his slit and dragging the beads of precum down his length. With a shaky hand he trails down your chest, slipping past your pants and underwear. A pleased hum escapes him as he feels how wet you are, fingers sliding along your folds, collecting your arousal before coming back up to circle around your clit.
“Fuck,” you gasp, hips jutting up at the tiny jolts of pleasure that spark each time his fingers circle around your bundle of nerves. This was definitely not how you thought your night would play out, still partially thinking you’re dreaming with your roommate asleep beside you but each time you blink the visual of his face inches from yours only gets clearer.
“How's this?” he whispers, eyebrow cocked up as he waits for a response, the tantalizing motion of his hands making your mind scramble once more, back arching up towards him as he applies a bit more pressure. Jungkook knows what he’s doing, the way his fingers find the right rhythm to leave you whimpering only to slow down right after, just because he likes the frustrated look etched onto your face.
A pout forms on your lips, your hands tightening their hold on his cock as you give him the same treatment, and as you slowly glide your palm down and back up, fingers refusing to go near his tip he groans in vexation.
“You’re not being nice.” Is what you manage to gasp out just before he picks up his pace once more, lips coming back down to yours in a hungry kiss, swallowing each moan as you let them out. Each pant through his nose is felt against your cheek as your own hands pick up the pace, the two of you working in tandem as the desperation starts to grow within you.
Jungkook wishes he could see you fully, not cocooned under a mountain of blankets, and for a split second he wants to suggest pulling them off entirely but the way the cold nips at your faces kills that idea on the spot. This would just have to do until the power came back.
“Ah shit,” he keens out in between sloppy kisses as your hands trail further down to fondle his balls, the beginning feelings of his climax creeping up embarrassingly fast. He couldn’t help himself, for months now he had wondered what it felt like to kiss you so this whole situation put his mind into overdrive.
You were on the same boat, the warm sensation spreading throughout you as his fingers continue to pinch and roll around your aching clit. “Wait, fuck I’m close,” you whimper out, chest rising and falling rapidly as you pull away from his mouth, a small string of spit connecting you together.
“Really?”
“Shut up don’t make fun of me,” you protest, gasping when he starts to kiss and suck along your neck.
“I’m not,” he mumbles, his hips rutting into your palm, fingers fisting the sheets beside you. “I’m close too.”
The whiny tone to his voice has more wetness gushing out, further ruining your underwear and Jungkook feels it as he fingers glide against your skin. That's enough to spur him on, quickening his pace with just the right pressure until your limbs are tightening up, back arching as your free hand clutches Jungkook’s shoulder.
“Don’t stop,” you plead, and he has no intentions to, smiling against your neck as your hand stutters along his length as the pleasure you feel coursing through you. Each roll of his fingers has you seeing stars in your dimly lit room, whines getting breathier each time until you’re finally coming undone with a cry of his name.
Jungkook feels the mess you make against his fingers, gently biting your skin as he starts to rut into your palm, the small twitches your body makes as he continues to tease your sensitive nub only making his need to cum grow.
“Y/N,” he mewls, pulling his hand out of your pants once you hum at your name, your palm trailing up his shoulder and into his hair to gently run through it. “Wanna cum.”
You bite your lips at his words, pulling your own hand out of his pants and he cries out at the loss of contact, face lifting up from your neck and the prettiest pout on his lips that you kiss away. “Cum, use me Jungkook.”
He eyes you for a moment, a subtle nod of confirmation being all he needs to slide down his sweats a bit until his cock slips out, a small sigh filling the air at being released from its confines. He licks his lips over as he grasps his cock, resting it along your core and sighing at the smooth feeling of your pants, the silk slightly cold against him, the small wet patch along it only making him shut his eyes.
When you widen your thighs for him to slot more easily he starts to rut forward, leaning back over you with his palms beside your face once more. Jungkook pants at the sensation, the gliding of his cock against your covered pussy, the small whines you let out each time he nudges against your clit, it kickstarts his climax once more.
“Feels good,” he grunts out, head bowing forward and pressing against your chest as he picks up the pace, hips knocking into you each time, beads of precum dampening your silk pajama set and mixing with your own arousal.
Jungkook doesn’t care how needy he looks right now, humping you like a desperate teenager because that’s exactly how he feels.
“Yeah, are you gonna cum for me Kook?” you whisper, caressing his hair until he’s looking at you once more, face screwed up as he teeters close to the edge.
When he nods eagerly you hook both legs around his waist, his mouth dropping open as he moans out unabashedly. “W-wanna feel you fully next time,” he grunts, jostling your body from the force of his thrusts, your pants wrinkling up around your thighs.
“You will,” you confirm, wanting nothing more than to actually feel his cock without the confines of clothes and blankets. “Once the power comes back.”
He chuckles at that for a second, smiling at you through the dull glow the candle provides but then his face twists up, brows pinching and jaw going slack as his hips grow sloppy.
“F-fuck,” he drawls out as his orgasm washes over him, hips rutting against yours with less grace than before, spurts of his warm cum splashing along your pussy and onto the small patch of skin above your waistband as he works himself through it. You sigh at the feeling, cupping his cheeks as your thumbs soothe him down.
Jungkook continues to rock against you until he’s whimpering in overstimulation, panting as he stares down at you with the dopiest smile. He turns his head to kiss at your hand by his cheek before bending down to press his lips against your in a gentle kiss.
“Did we just get to third base?” he whispers against your lips after the two of you fully come down, laughing when you swat at his side playfully, your own laugh filling the air as he pulls back to stare at you once more.
Suddenly your room fills with light, the two of you squinting at the brightness, the sound of the heater kicking back is followed by the warmth from the vents beginning to flow through.
You don’t even have to look at him to know what face he’s making, your promise of letting him fully feel you once the power came back flooding his mind. “No Jungkook,” you laugh, pushing his face away from yours as he inches closer like a child.
“Why not?”
“Because you ruined my favorite pajamas.”
He laughs freely now, kneeling up until the blankets slide off his body, his eyes staring down at your pants and analyzing the mess the two of you made. “I mean, you ruined them first.”
Okay he has a point, but instead of agreeing you simply raise your foot up and nudge it against his chest until he topples to the side, allowing you to stand up from bed with no fear of the cold attacking you. Jungkook smiles against your sheets as he watches you grab new pants and underwear before slipping into your bathroom, emerging a few minutes later with a pair of snowman printed pants instead.
“You wanna go finish Legally Blonde?” he asks, head perched up by his hand as he lays on his side, that charming smile on his face.
“It’s like two in the morning.”
He shrugs, not caring about the time at all, just wanting to spend more time with you, already knowing the two of you would most likely end the night having a discussion about more than obvious feelings after what just happened.
After staring at him for another moment you smile too, reaching your bed for the same trusty blanket you hand earlier and wrapping it around your body. But as he stands up from your bed you extend your covered up out for him to join you, a smile of success gracing his face.
“Wow, you’re actually sharing with me.” he coos, leading the two of you back out into the living room.
“Watch it, I’ll take it back.”
Jungkook simply wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you into his side before you sit onto the couch. “I know you will you cozy thief.”

Ever since the day your mother taught you how to read, you’ve had your nose buried in a book. Losing yourself in different worlds, swooning over fictional princes, and fantasizing for a love story ripped out of fairytale itself with such burning, passionate romance – you’d been through it all, dreamt of it all. And yet, you struggled to stop yourself from tugging at your dress.
The tight corset hadn’t even been the main focus of your worries, and neither was the heavy rivière resting on your collarbones.
“Would you stop fidgeting?” Beside you, your mother pursed her lips, fingers decorated with jewels stopping in their movements of fanning herself. The temperature hadn’t been particularly high inside the limousine that evening. You supposed it was the mere sight of you tugging and gulping audibly every now and then, gloved hands running over the hems of your collar.
You ducked your head down. “Sorry, Mother. I can’t help it.”
“Dear, your anxiety is written all over your face,” she sighed, turning your face to her as she cupped your cheeks. Smiling tenderly like a mother always did, your heart felt soothed even by the slightest bit. You wished she could keep holding you like this – like you were a fragile flower she was afraid of breaking; a fragile flower that needed more care handled than most. Tonight, however, you felt a hundred years older. Like you’d accidentally clicked on fast forward and got launched to the future. A future that seemed so unclear yet so...perfect. So right.
“How would the Prince fancy you if you’re sweating bullets like that? It’s not a good look for a marquess’ daughter.”
At the mention of the Crown Prince, your heart sank again. “My apologies, Mother. I’m just rather nervous. It’s the Crown Prince we’re talking about here.”
“He is quite the looker, isn’t he?” she giggled behind her fan, “Strong and handsome, as well.”
“My ladies. You are not fantasizing over the Crown Prince in my presence, are you?”
Crossing her leg over the other, your mother leaned forwards, elbows on her knees as she winked at your father. The marquess had his torso half twisted from the passenger seat, glaring playfully at your mother’s unabashed features. “It is of no seriousness, My Lord. I’m simply easing your daughter’s nerves.”
Your father sighed in worry. “What’s got you so worked up, child? You are beautiful. The Prince would be blind to not notice you.”
Each fibre in your body screamed in desperation for your father to be right. Tonight was not just any other night – the entire Kingdom, including noblewomen, foreign royals, and unwed daughters from honourable families had been invited to the Zen’in Castle for one purpose only: to find his Crown Prince a suitable wife, one that would be fit to be the next Queen as well. As the daughter of the marquess, you’d naturally received the invitation. It felt just like yesterday when the mail arrived and you’d cheered so much in joy the chickens went flying out of their coops, your horses galloping and whinnying at surprise, and now you here – minutes away from the palace where you were soon to be deemed worthy or unworthy to be beside His Highness.
With a shaky smile, you dug your nails into your thighs. “Well, we’ve only met once, Father. I doubt the Prince would remember me.”
“Just smile, darling. You will do great.”
Tumblr media
To no one’s surprise, the Zen’in Castle brimmed with people and esteemed guests. Men and women danced with one another as muted chatters and chuckles blended in with the grand royal orchestra, everyone dressed to the nines and making you feel completely out of place.
The moment you’d been welcomed by the knights and led to the palace doors, your dress began to feel tighter than usual, your ribs clenching uncomfortably from the pressure. Your hands had not stopped trembling either, not even when you hid it behind your back and nodded at the people passing by. There were governor-generals, dukes, earls, professors and royal advisors and even families of the royal family’s inner circle of knights. Everyone looked like they belonged here. Chatting amongst one another over the finest of wines or discussing conspiracies on where the Kingdom of Zen’in would be in the next sixty years of the future King’s reign, no one here seemed to be out of place.
Everyone except you.
A warm hand was suddenly placed on the small of your back, making you gasp. Your mother’s smile was nothing short of warm as she held you close to her one last time, leaving a kiss on your forehead. You didn’t even realize how much you shook until she clasped her hands with yours. “Calm down, dear,” she reminded, “You’ll be on your own now. This is where we leave you since we’re not supposed to mingle with potential princesses.”
“Mother!” Your eyes widened in embarrassment. Looking around frantically, you bit your lip in fear someone must’ve heard.
Of course, while it would be no surprise most guests – if not all – hoped that their daughter would be the Crown Prince’s chosen fiancée, it still felt wrong to boldly assume such when you could barely keep up with the events of tonight.
However, your mother merely laughed. “I am proud of you, dear. Never forget that. It doesn’t matter whether you are chosen or not. We’re only here for formality and respect to the King and Queen’s demands.”
“You say that as if the Crown Prince really would not bother with me.”
“We didn’t mean that,” your father cut in, a flute of champagne already nested between his calloused fingers. Ever since you arrived, he’d been snatched away by fellow earls and barons, disappearing into the crowd for a ‘hearty conversation over one’s lands.’ You knew better than that, though. That statement always translated to which leader got to have more chances to wine and dine with the King, to which your family was ridiculously reminded of that you’d been stationed to the most faraway land where even hearing news from the royal papers was but a privilege.
“Just be yourself, alright? And enjoy the party. It’s about time you met with girls your own age and made some friends.”
“I – Father, wait!”
A slender young woman slithered to your side out of nowhere, her golden brown eyes following the silhouettes of your parents. It wasn’t long before they completely disappeared. Left alone with the stunning woman that was – for some reason – dressed in a plain black curve hugging dress too modest for tonight’s appropriateness, you took three steps away in caution. “You must be from way up North,” she noted, her head to the tipped to the side. “I don’t think I’ve seen you here before.”
God, was she beautiful. Long, thick eyelashes and short hair chopped in messy yet elegant curves, you struggled to hold her gaze. “Oh, yes, I come from the Terratian Borders. My family is stationed there under His Majesty’s orders.”
She hummed to herself. “The Terratian Borders are mostly forests and fields, no? The last time my family and I visited there, I came across the loveliest dandelions I’ve ever laid eyes on. Shame they died on the way back,” offering her hand – again, bare and empty with decorations yet still littered with faint scars and cuts – she beamed at you. “I’m Mai, by the way. Mai Zen’in.”
Zen’in?
Hands cupping your mouth, you bowed deep until your back ached. “Lady Mai!” you shut your eyes closed, unable to live with the shame. Mai Zen’in; one of the iconic twin pair from the extended Zen’in royal family, both a fashion icon and a legend for being a rumoured female knight. To have her in your presence was an honour. “My apologies for not recognizing you any sooner, Lady Mai!”
“Stand up, I’m not a royal,” she sniggered, “We’re just relatives of the actual monarch, but don’t let the family name fool you. The Crown Prince barely even acknowledges us being of the same blood.”
Albeit hesitant, you followed her gestures of making you stand up. You straightened your back and cleared your throat, fighting the urge to go haywire the moment his name was brought into the conversation. Not only would you be seeing Prince Naoya again in real life for the first time in years, but you’d also made acquaintances with his distant niece. However, his name was spoken with malice.
Frowning, you faced Lady Mai in all seriousness. “Prince Naoya? Why so?” Lady Mai looked at you like you’d grown two heads.
“He’s an ass, that’s why.”
“I-I don’t think he is,” you defended, “The Prince has been nothing but kind to me.”
“I didn’t know he was capable of kindness,” she muttered more so under her breath, low enough you were unsure whether you were supposed to hear it in the first place. Lady Mai then shook her head to herself before stealing a flute from a waiter passing by. Chucking it your way, her face turned dark and grim. “Take it as free advice: stay as far away from his as possible. The Crown Prince is nothing but good news.”
“Is it because he has lots of lovers?” you inquired with a small voice, “Uhm – well – It was an assumption. With a title and handsomeness like that, it would make sense everyone would want to be the Crown Prince’s lover.”
Lady Mai’s lip curled upwards. “Prince Naoya won’t bother with lovers. He is too occupied for that.”
“So I’ve heard.”
“Heard from whom?”
“The Royal Declaration from His Majesty himself,” you said, “Was it not the purpose of this ball? To find worthy candidates to be the Crown Prince’s betrothed? His coronation is coming soon.”
“Right. I forgot today was technically a bridal market,” she scratched the edge of her brow, falling silent for a moment. Her eyes scanned the lively crowd for a brief moment – watching with you as everyone laughed and danced to their heart’s content – the grand final event of the routine personal dance with the Crown Prince himself slowly approaching to reality. “You are joining in the festivities, are you not? Later, when he arrives, he shall meet you.”
“I am obligated to as a noble bachelorette, though I doubt His Highness would even look my way. There are far richer noblewomen here and even daughters of duke that would be perfect as his wife. ”
“You may have a point for that,” she hummed to herself, unaware that her agreement to the Crown Prince not paying attention to you left a sting both in your ego and heart. Not that it lasted long, for Lady Mai was already tugged on the arm by another equally fiercely beautiful woman – her older twin, Maki Zen’in. Soon to be governon-general of the Kingdom.
Lady Mai smiled in apology. “I need to go now since I’m not a part of this event. But hey, if ever I come around to visit the Borders again, perhaps you could entertain me?”
“I would be honoured to, Lady Mai.”
“You are sweet and innocent,” it was her sister who spoke this time, glasses perched high on her nose that concealed the wariness of her gaze. “I hope the Crown Prince never gets to your routine.”
“I’m sorry?”
“It’s nothing; she was talking to herself. Maki does that a lot,” Lady Mai’s forced chuckles were barely heard from the music. “You enjoy the party now. Don’t drink too much lest you want to embarrass yourself in everyone’s eyes and be talk of the Kingdom. Prince Naoya would hate it if you took the attention away from him.”
“Oh, uhm...”
“It’s a joke, Lady Y/N. Relax.”
You bowed once more. “My apologies.”
“The dance is about to begin,” Maki tapped on your shoulder, making you look up right where her eyes zeroed in. And exactly in the middle of the grandiose hall, under the sparkling golden chandeliers where he made all the gold in the world look incomparable next to him, the Crown Prince stood in his fully glory. Blond hair with the ends stained of midnight gelled back to reveal his forehead, the Crown Prince’s beauty never failed to shine. Whether it be in the papers, in the tabloids, in the billboards that you passed on the way to the city, or from way back when you met him for the first time as a naive, innocent teen – Crown Prince Naoya came straight out of a magazine cover.
In the back of your head, you could hear either of the twins murmuring good luck. Maybe both of them had said it – you had no idea. All of your attention, all the sensibility and coherence of your state had been switched the next instant, as if your heart and soul was born for the sole purpose of being bewitched by your Crown Prince.
And as if feeling someone’s gaze on him, the Crown Prince’s eyes trailed over the crowd. Almost boredly, his sharp eyes bounced from one giggling woman to another, the ends of his lips smirking upwards for just the tiniest bit. It must’ve stroked his ego. Until his eyes connected with yours. The Crown Prince’s eyebrows knitted together. You had no idea how you looked in that moment, and quite frankly, you didn’t care. Because the Crown Prince was looking at you, and you were looking at him with hearts in your eyes along with your heart pulsing at the tip of your tongue.
“Let us begin,” his lips moved from the distance, “Play the music. I shall dance with my bride.”
The air shifted in a split second. Murmurs were thrown over the room, women and men alike turning pale. Even the orchestra was stunned from the Crown Prince’s entrance – and it hadn’t even been dramatic to his standards – yet the whole castle fell mum from just a few of his words. A few seconds later, the crowd recomposed itself, and the strings began to dance along with its bows.
You are pushed into the crowd. Nearly colliding into the arms of another, you quietly thank the masked man who was to be your first partner of the night.
All the men joining the dance floor dressed with the intention of making the Crown Prince shine. Prince Naoya stood out from the throng of white as per the colour code, his blood red uniform as both Prince with the  golden crest of the military leader pinned to his right breast. The other men meant to be filler partners until all the potential brides got to their designated three minutes with the Prince were all dressed in black, faces covered behind a plain black mask. None were allowed to talk. None were allowed to utter even a word, and so your partner pursed his lips in displeasure at your apology.
Whatever. You just had to wait a few more rounds before the song finished and transitioned into a new one; the song where you’d been informed would be your time alone with the Prince.
You’d been so lost in your head you barely breathed the entire dance. From partner to partner, you blanked. Your heart drummed so wildly in its cage it begged to come out, and strings of apologies were let out each time your masked partners grimaced for a brief second when their hands came in contact with your sweaty ones. Around you, all the lovely women smiled and danced graciously, mouths moving in unreadable conversations shared with the Crown Prince. Not once did you look at the six partners you’ve danced with. Not once did you worry about tripping on your own feet. Not once did you care that some of the masked men held you a little too roughly for your comfort. Your entire reason for existing in that moment was to witness the Crown Prince himself, mirroring his frown that got deeper and deeper with each woman retreating to the sea of people he’d rejected.
Not once did you even think about being one of them – the girls who’ve ducked their heads down as their parents comforted them over not being the chosen one, of bringing ‘dishonour’ to their families that the mighty Crown Prince had deemed them unworthy. Tears streamed down their faces until black ink followed afterwards, lips trembling from silent sobs.
Despite their broken prides – although there was that minority who simply sighed in relief after returning to their own families – no one would dare interrupt the Crown Prince’s dances.
All of these thoughts crossed your mind too late and at the exact time your masked partner pulled away from you, body half bent in a bow with his arm outstretched to the side. Following where he was gesturing at, your eyes met the Crown Prince’s tall and lean stature, a few blond fringes now fallen from his movements.
Even though a thin layer of sweat shone from his face, Prince Naoya remained ethereal.
And like a snake charmed by the musician’s seductive tone, your feet moved on its own. Fingers stretching until it met with the Crown Prince’s large and warm ones, you were now in front of him. With him. Holding him, touching him, meeting him eye for eye and realizing – gold. His eyes burned a deep shade of gold, elegantly rich and heartbreakingly stunning your heart ached.
Before you knew it, your hands began to tremble, feeling as if your body had been corded into a corset three sizes smaller. You could not breathe, and the Crown Prince took notice.
“You are stiff. Do I make you uncomfortable?” Good Saint. If only possible, you would’ve closed your eyes and basked in the deep warmth of his voice. It reverberated from deep within, breathed out with an air of natural authority and profound confidence it made your knees weak. As if sensing his effect on you (though for the wrong reasons, it seemed), Prince Naoya hummed to himself. “This routine shall last for a few minutes before I can let you go, I’m afraid.”
You instantly realized the implications of your silence. “N-not at all, Your Highness! I am honoured to be dancing with you.”
“There is no honour in a choreographed dance. Everyone will dance with me. It’s nothing special.”
Your heart fell. Prince Naoya not only sounded dejected, but detached as well. As if he found no pleasure or specialty in this event, at a time where he had every opportunity to meet his lover, and that this ball was merely a task to be checked off in his already long list of responsibilities. It wasn’t disappointment, per se, but rather melancholy that left a bitter taste in your mouth. Not because Prince Naoya held little to no regards for something you treasured, but because he sounded terribly alone. Like he was simply waiting for it to end out of discomfort.
“It’s special to me, Your Highness,” you blurted out faster than you could stop yourself. For a moment, you feared you may have offended him, but the Crown Prince only laughs.
And when he did – saint, when he laughed – his eyes crinkled into half moons, pearly whites flashing against the bright lights and his whole chest shook with amusement.
You’d never seen him smile this way before.
Prince Naoya’s laughter didn’t cease. Around you, your gut instincts told that people were now beginning to look; the Crown Prince’s deep rumbles of laughter sounded exquisitely like music as well, after all. “ Is it special to you because you are now dancing and within the Crown Prince’s proximity? As much as I presume how exhilarating it might be for those who mostly see me in the papers and in the tabloids, I assure you, dancing with your Prince is not an honour. Especially when you are all sent the invitations based on your status and not your worthy traits.”
“It’s special to me,” you mumbled, growing shy all of a sudden when the Crown Prince nodded at you to continue. “Because...because it reminds me of the first time we met.”
The Crown Prince hummed in amusement.
“We have met before?”
“Yes, Your Highness. I’m from the Terratian Borders – my father is a loyal servant of His Majesty. You visited the borders when you were eighteen and I was sixteen. Do you remember it, Your Highness? You stormed in my private library.”
Indeed, the young barely-out-of-his-teens Crown Prince barged into your home’s library years ago. You were not previously informed he and his parents would be visiting since they arrived wordlessly, so you were stuck in your chambers as usual, killing time if not for sleeping and tending to the animals. Perched on a ladder, you attempted to reach for a book on the upper shelf when your foot slipped beneath you. At the age of sixteen, you were dramatic enough to say your life flashed before your eyes. You would’ve screamed then had strong arms not appeared out of nowhere, the Crown Prince staring at you with wide, golden eyes as they were now, his breathy rasped as he asked, are you okay, my lady?
The mere recollection of that fateful memory had your cheeks warming in delight. “You were so charming and heroic back then. Even when I had no idea you were a royal, I would have still believed you to be princely,” you said rather absentmindedly, blinking once then twice at your words. “Of course, it’s understandable if you do not remember, Your Highness!”
“My apologies. I do not remember, though Terratia is a wonderful place. Such a shame I was not informed beforehand they had a lovely daughter.”
“Thank you, Your Highness,” you cheered back, cheeks and jaw beginning to ache from how wide you were smiling. But could anyone blame you? You felt absolutely silly that you were a breath away from passing out minutes ago, and now here you were, dancing with the Crown Prince and sharing memories with him like it was a daily occurrence. The words it’s true love when you feel at peace with them suddenly rang back at your head from that latest romance novel you read, and you turned away, hoping the Crown Prince would not read your thoughts to your face. However, Prince Naoya’s lips pursed into a thin line, all traces of humour now disappeared. “I’m sorry – should I not have laughed?”
“No, I don’t mind,” he mused with his jaw locked tight, “I just haven’t seen anyone react that way before.”
“Like what?”
“Like my words meant the entire universe to them. I may dare even say you look terribly in love, though I cannot blame you on that one, can I?”
Prince Naoya shook his head the minute the words left his mouth. Forcing himself to believe it couldn’t be real, perhaps, you truly did not know anymore. Your only plan for tonight was to see the Crown Prince and get to live out your dream of seeing him once more even for just a brief moment before you travelled back home while he married another, and yet – “Your Highness, I’m in love with you. I have always been since the day we met.”
You could no longer stop the words. The voice at the back of your head begged you to shut up and not cause a scene, that your time had passed up and people were staring, yet you remained in his arms no matter how much you wanted nothing more than for the ground to swallow you whole.
“Please do not misunderstand me, Your Highness. I did not come here to attempt to steal your heart and be your wife, though I will admit I have dreamt of meeting you again for so many moons. I...I only want to tell you this. That I love you and even though it was a brief moment, I think the love I’ve always read about felt real and possible for the first time in my life,” chuckling nervously, you gather to courage to face him, adoration shining for the Crown Prince stood shock still before you, however stunned he may be. “I love you, Your Highness. I love you. And to whoever lucky woman you choose to be your betrothed, I hope she takes care of you and showers you with all the affection you are deserving of. You would make a great King. So God help his Crown Prince, and may you lead us all into a better world.”
Prince Naoya did not budge a muscle. His eyes remained hard on yours, breath warm as his nostrils fumed. With each passing second that he did not speak, you grew restless and tugged your arm away from his hold with a disgraceful smile.
You’d truly crossed your line. The repercussions to be faced for this impoliteness would destroy your family’s honour. You had to leave. “Your Highness? The song has changed. It’s time to let go—”
The Crown Prince inched close enough until his hair tickled your cheeks, his deep voice sending shivers down your spine as he pulled you close, close enough that your lower bodies touched. Skin ablaze with heat, you dared not move an inch. “Do you mean it?” he demanded lowly, his fingers ghosting over your wrist to hold you in place. “Do you truly love me? Not for what I have, not for who I was born to be, but me as a person itself?”
Closing your eyes to shudder in a deep breath, you exhaled. “Of course, Your Highness. Even if you were not born as a Prince, I’m sure I would’ve still loved you in a different universe.”
“But I do not know you.”
“We don’t have to know each other, Your Highness, and we never will. Once you let me go, I’ll return to the shadows where I belong, and I will continue supporting you until the day of your coronation.”
“And if I refuse to let you go?” he clicked his tongue, “What will you do then?”
The Crown Prince’s spicy perfume must be an aphrodisiac or hypnotizer of sorts. Everything he did messed with your mind that it was too late – the music had stopped and people were no longer drinking or chatting. Everyone’s eyes were on you and the Crown Prince. You could only imagine how controversial this position must be; with his lips trailing dangerously close to that sensitive spot in your neck where you nearly moaned. You really needed to leave.
“P-people are looking, Your Highness. You do not want this affair with someone you won’t choose—”
“Who said I won’t choose you?” Finally, he pulled away. But Prince Naoya never once tore his gaze away from yours, nor did he allow you to look at anyone but him as he caresses your jaw so light and feathery you wondered if he was truly there.“Who said I haven’t laid my eyes on you the moment you walked in here? This ball is for naught because of you, Lady Y/N. I’ve already made my choice, and you helped me confirm it as soon as you danced with me.”
“Your Highness...”
“Look at me,” he ordered, your eyes flitting from his pinkish lips to his sharp nose and then to his fox-like gaze. Only this time, Prince Naoya was no longer harsh. “Don’t be scared.”
“But they’re looking.”
“You are with me, of course they’ll look,” he teased, “They wish to be you right now. But ignore them and dance one more time with me.”
It wasn’t like you had a choice, but did it matter? One nod from him was all it took before the orchestra fumbled back to their spots and a new song played, Ode of Moonlight Lovers, and the Crown Prince was guiding you back to where he had originally danced with you.
From the corners of your eyes, you caught a glimpse of your parents with their mouths gaped open; your father looking like he was on the verge of passing out. However, you felt nothing but joy, nothing but the adrenaline pumping through your veins as he danced and twirled you in his arms. When the music stopped and you were both panting for air with silly smiles on your face, it dawned on you that you were with the Prince. No, rather, it was only you and the Prince alone. Even in the sea of people whose faces began to blur, he prevailed crystal clear.
You could recognize him anywhere, find him everywhere.
Prince Naoya stepped impossibly closer until your chests touched, hearts beating as one. Cupping your jaw, he was near enough that he swallowed all your shaky breaths with a small, teasing smile like you both shared a secret the entire world could not know.
“Do I still make you nervous?”
Laughing, you nodded. “Yes, Your Highness. I feel like I’m going to explode.”
“It’s beloved now,” he corrected, face inching closer and closer to a point you could count the number of his lower lashes. “And what do lovers do to seal their union?”
“M-Marriage?”
“Close, but this is much better.”
If anyone were to tell you that you would have a love story ripped out straight from a fairytale, you would’ve laughed at their faces. You were no Cinderella, nor were you a goddess of beauty that could’ve possibly caught the Crown Prince’s eye. Yet, his soft lips were on yours, kissing you with as much passion you could only dream of that you cried.
Strong hands guiding the back of your waist, Prince Naoya dipped you lower to the ground – the grand of finish of his dance. He had chosen his bride.
The crowd cheered and rejoiced all around you, making you smile into the kiss. Fisting his collar to bring him closer to yours, your mouth burst into metaphorical fireworks as soon as his tongue mingled with yours for an experimental taste. He was bitter yet sweet; expensive wine resting on his tongue, yet a delicate vanilla sat heavily on his soft lips that molded with yours. It was a taste you could spend forever being addicted on. And you were crying, crying so much your chest ached and the Prince’s cheeks grew damp from yours. You’d dreamt of this for so long, too long now.
Prince Naoya slowly pulled you away, his thumb wiping the tears away from the pads of your cheeks with tenderness in his touch. However, the Prince was not satisfied. The crowd whooped as he leant down to kiss your forehead. “You are mine now, my princess.”
Looping his hands with yours, the Crown Prince led you out of the castle. The crowd parted naturally to make way for the new couple, and you were left staring at his broad back and the tuft of blond hair where you’d soon find out how soft it would be. Sending one last glance to your crying parents, you waved goodbye. You had no idea where the Crown Prince would take you but you were already bunching your dress up, heart completely filled with trust you did not question it. What mattered tonight and for the rest of your life was that it felt right. That it was him – your beloved Prince Naoya Zen’in and soon to be husband – that you’d follow through the moon and back.

                Dabi: His Property
You sighed as your sister wept into your shoulder about how horrible he was. You knew that everyone knew that. Dabi was a villain for God’s sake. Did she really believe that he was going to change?
“I’m never going back to him, he can fucking die for all I care,” She blabbered. You held the urge to roll your eyes knowing all too well she does care. He doesn’t even care for her, but you and her friends had already told her multiple times; y’all could only give her so much advice.
It had already been two weeks and she was still crying all day. It was a toxic relationship, one you would never want to be in. But older sisters were always the example of what to do and of what NOT to do. Another hiccup escaped her lips as she lifted herself off your shoulder and looked over to you with pleading eyes. You wanted to look away because you knew she was about to ask for a huge favor, and one you more than likely would not want to do.
“Hey… could you ever be so kind and pick up the rest of my things from Dabi’s place?” Your jaw slightly dropped; sure, she asked you for ridiculous favors, but this, this took the cake. She knows how much you dislike Dabi, and you would never admit it, but he intimidated you; he intimidated everyone. Your sister was just stupid enough to get caught up in with someone like him.
“I don’t know, Gigi… It was your relationship, not mine, I don’t want to get involved if I’m being honest,” You admitted. She grabbed you by the shoulders and looked straight into your eyes with her bottom lip slightly pouted out.
“Pleaseeeee, sis. I’m begging you, I don’t want to see him,” Gigi begged. You looked over to her friends who were watching this unfold. Your eyes asking them to intervene. To do something, anything. To your luck they rubbed the back of their neck and looked away.
You scoffed and looked back at her, “Fine. I’m only doing this because I don’t want this to slap back in my face,” You stated as you stood up. Your sister gave you a big hug and continuously whispered her thanks to you; shrugging it off you hesitantly made your way out and headed off to Dabi’s.
 ******
You were in front of the door, an uneasy feeling settling in your stomach kept making you hesitate to knock. Best case scenario he wasn’t home. Taking a deep breath, you gave the door two good hard knocks.
To your dismay you heard shuffling on the other side and the door starts opening as words pour out of Dabi’s mouth, “Already crawling back Gi- “He stopped midway when he looked and saw that it was you and not your sister.
Dabi was shocked on the inside, but he couldn’t show it. His dumb ex sent her poor, younger, innocent sister to come collect her things, which he had already thrown out, but she didn’t need to know that.
“Ah… If it isn’t Gigi’s little sister,” Dabi said with a smirk playing on his lips. The use of your whole name had your shoulders slightly shrinking. “What brings you here?” He asks as he leans on his doorframe a glint in his eyes that tells you that this is a bad idea, a bad idea.
“Just coming to collect Gigi’s belongings…” You meekly reply. You were so determined to have a strong look, to not look intimidated, but that obviously didn’t hold up.
Keep it together for God’s sake!
Mentally scolding yourself as he raised one of his hands to come inside, “Yeah, they’re in the room, Come on in.” The dangerous smirk and glint his eyes not once leaving his face. Your heart was thumping loudly, your stomach was churning with nausea as every single bad scenario played in your head.
He’s going to kill me.
Dabi closed the door behind him and locked it. The sound of the lock had you tensing up, “I don’t want to waste any of your time so I promise it will be quick,” You quickly stammered out.
A small chuckle left his lips as he gazed at your whole body from head to toe, you had a much nicer figure than your sister that’s for sure. The clothing was so plain, some jean shorts and a simple V-neck blouse that complimented your cleavage a little too well. You uncomfortably shifted under his lustful gaze as you tried to think of something else.
“So…” you cleared your throat before proceeding, “Which room is her stuff in?” His piercing blue eyes shifted to the door behind you, and he nudged his chin indicating that that was room. You gave a small nod and turned around and made your room to the door. Your eyes must have missed the lock that was placed on the outside of the door instead of the inside as you walked into the room.
Dabi smirked as he followed closely behind you; you were falling right into his trap, you are poor, naïve soul.
“Dabi, there is nothing in here, just a bed,” You stated as you turned around and hit his chest. You took a wobbly step back. Your heart racing faster than it was before.
“I know.” You nervously swallowed as you looked anywhere but at him. A small hum left his lips as you looked and tried to think of a way to calm yourself. “You nervous? Hmm… doll, tell me, are you?” The words had a tone of mockery laced in them as you finally looked at his eyes.
“Stop being weird Dabi,” You muttered as you started to walk past him. That only proceeded in his roughly grabbing your upper arm and pulling you back and releasing you onto the hardwood floor with a thud.
“What was that for?! Dabi, seriously, if you’re mad about the breakup maybe you should go talk to Gigi,” You rambled with panic in your tone. Dabi kneeled in front of you grabbing your chin to force you to look at him.
“I never wanted your sister. I wanted someone else… can you guess who it is?” He taunted with a sinister grin on his stapled face. Mischievous blue pupils wanting to you to answer.
Your eyes were wide and your lips slightly apart of just how insane this guy is. His thumb reached over and glided across your bottom lip, “I’ll give you another hint, I’m looking right at her…” Dabi whispered. If you weren’t scared, you most definitely were now. His thumb continued lightly slide across your bottom lip as tears started strolling down your cheek. Dabi let out a wicked chuckle as his other hand pushed your body down to the ground and was now straddling you.
“Dabi… Don’t…”
“Don’t what, doll? Hmm?” Dabi leaned down and licked the tears off your face, letting out a small hum of approval as your hands were still frozen at your side. You were letting him touch you, lick your tears off, and you haven’t managed to stop him. His face was suddenly in front yours and he pushed his lips against your slipping his tongue in quickly. Your eyes were still wide, and your hands found themselves pushing against his chest. He easily grabbed both of your wrists pulling them away pushing them above your head.
He managed to get both of your wrists in one of his hands as the other trailed beneath your shirt, gripping at your side with an uncomfortable grip. You writhed and squirmed beneath him as he gripped harder at your sides. Dabi pulled away his face away from yours a string of saliva connected to both of y’all’s lips. He pulled his hand up from underneath your shirt and pushed his thumb in your mouth.
“Suck.” It wasn’t even a suggestion. You swallowed before nervously wrapping your tongue slightly around his thumb and sucking. Dabi groaned as he praised, “Good girl.”
His eyes were intensely watching you and you could nothing but look back, his whole gaze had your cheeks heating up from embarrassment. You wanted this to end.
A knock interrupted. Your eyes looked down hoping to the door, but you were met with Dabi’s pants and you could see a noticeable bulge against the crotch area. You sighed in relief when another knock.
“Dabi!” Your eyes went wide, it was your sister. Dabi chuckled and looked down at you with his thumb still in your mouth.
“Make a sound and I’ll cremate her,” Dabi threatened. Not giving you a chance to respond he took his thumb out of your mouth with an audible pop. Dabi stood up and looked down at you, “Now stay quiet and sit on the bed for me like a good little whore.” He walked out of the room and you heard the door lock on the other side. You slowly sat yourself up and fixed your shirt.
You could hear faint talking on the other side, your sister’s voice sounded panic and scared. But you couldn’t quite make out what they were talking about. You just stay there on the floor not making a sound as you try your best to not make any noise. You hear the front door open and shut, but you don’t hear any sounds.
Did he walk her out?
You stood up and walked over to the door trying to jiggle it, but nothing. It was locked. You sighed in frustration as you contemplated on whether or not to try to kick the door. Before you could decide you heard the front door open ad heavy footsteps approaching to the room. Taking a couple of shaky steps as you heard the lock unlock and the door being pushed wide open and being met with a wicked grin.
“Good news, doll!” Dabi walked closer to you as his hands were behind his back like he was hiding an item. You kept taking steps back until your back hit the wall, Dabi didn’t hesitate to close the distance, “Your sister thinks you’re hiding because you didn’t do what she asked… and on top of that I told her the truth of where her items were, so… she has no reason to come back here,” He casually explained. Your eyes narrowed as you could slightly feel your anger boiling up inside you.
“You sick son of a BITCH!” You yelled as your hand came swinging aiming for his cheek, but he stopped you with one of his hands.
A malicious chuckle left his lips as he gripped your wrist tightly causing you to whimper, “I’m going to break that fire of yours, and you’re going to love it,” Dabi whispered. You squirmed as you wanted to get out of his grip tugging your wrist only for him to increase his grip; you let out a small cry as tears stung the corner of your eyes.
Dabi pulled you to him only for him to force you on the bed with his weight, he brought his other hand out revealing a black leather collar. Your eyes widen as you struggle more; Dabi let out a huff in frustration as you weren’t being still.
“I’m going to fucking shove my cock in your ass if you don’t stop moving,” Dabi threatened.
He wasn’t one for empty threats and you knew that. You go completely still as you can’t hear anything besides the loud thumping in your chest. He hums in approval as he sits up straddling your body, he undoes the collar and is surprisingly gently as he puts it around your neck. Once he finishes his eyes hold nothing but lust, he loops his pinky finger in the hole where a chain can connect pulls at it forcing your face to come up. He leans down into you enveloping your lips in a deep kiss that you can’t escape.
A whimper barely makes its way out of you as your hands feebly push against his chest. He yanks on the collar harder causing you to let out a grunt. Dabi releases the collar and the kiss pushing you down by your shoulders flat on the bed. He sits back up and tears your shirt and burns the middle of your bra.
“Dabi please do- “
“No… I will…” he cuts you off as his fingers fiddle with the button on your jean shorts, “And you’re gonna be a good lil’ whore for me and take it.” He gets up off you and quickly takes both your shorts and panties off, your face heats up as you quickly clamp your legs together in an effort to hide, Dabi quickly pushes his hands in between and caws your thighs apart as your whole mind is now processing what is going on.
I’m going to get raped! Dabi is going to take my virginity.
Tears freely roll down your cheeks as his face is now right in front of your pussy, shame and fear lighting up within you. He delves his tongue in between your folds, you let out a small mewl as you squirm. His arms going beneath your thigh as he wraps his hands around your thigh and grips down to hold you still. Dabi continues to lap greedily at your cunt as you can’t hold back the noises that escape your mouth.
Dabi is thoroughly enjoying your reactions, trying to get you prepared for him. Such a responsive thing, he loved it. Sucking on your bud he releases one of your thighs as he brings two of his fingers at your soaking entrance. He slowly pushes them. A loud gasp escapes your mouth as your fingers entangle themselves into his hair.
“Nngh…” You squeeze your eyes shut trying to block him out, but his thick digits are fucking you at a pace that won’t allow you to do so. He swirls his tongue around your clit as he picks up the pace; breathy moans falling shamelessly out of your mouth.
“Look at you… moaning like a lil’ slut,” Dabi comments as you clench around his fingers. You just whimper in return, your whole face heating up in the fact that you are enjoying this. Your body is. The feeling in your stomach starts to become bigger as Dabi now is hovering over you as his two fingers penetrate you and his thumb roughly rubs at your bud.
Your body is reacting on its own as it starts to grind in motion with Dabi’s fingers. He growls lowly as he pulls you up to him by the collar as he kisses you. His tongue raiding your mouth to where you can taste yourself on him. You don’t want to cum on his fingers, but you can’t help it. The sensation is too powerful as you moan loudly into his mouth orgasming on his fingers.
Dabi pulls his fingers out and shoves them into your mouth pushing them far back causing your vision to blur and you to gag. He removed his fingers as a trail of saliva followed and he started unbuckling his belt. Dabi was quick to remove his pants. You tried regaining a little composure as you slowly sat up only to be pushed back down.
“Turn over.” You froze. You really didn’t want to, but at the same time who knew what threats he had up his sleeve. You slowly rolled over to your back your heart racing as tears stung your eyes again. You felt as his hand snaked beneath around your stomach as he started to lift you up. Even though you were a virgin you understood everything about sex. You knew exactly what he was asking for. You obediently got on your knees and your hands.
You could hear him hiss lowly as he brought his body close to yours. “Dabi please… don’t…” you tried pleading one more time. “I’m a- “
“Doll. Don’t make me shove it in your ass,” Dabi warned. You swallowed all protests and squeezed your eyes shut. You tried to steady your breathing as you felt his head tease your entrance.
Please go slowly! Please go slowly!
As if reading your mind, he slowly pushes his head in, hissing as he could already feel you clenching around him. God, you were so fucking tight. He continues to push himself in as you let out a cry and tears fall down the side of your face. Dabi allows himself to bottom out in you enjoying how tight and wet you are. You unsteady breathing as hurts a little more than anticipated.
“I’m going to fucking ruin you,” Dabi whispers as he leans down into your ear. “Be a good whore and ask me to fuck you,” He commands. Your eyes go wide. You can feel his whole cock inside of you as you pause to think whether or not to do so.
“Fuck me, please… Dabi,” You meekly force out. He lets out a groan as he gently rocks against you.
“Say it again.”
You swallowed, “Please fuck me, Dabi.” You were so embarrassed to be asking for such an action. Dabi rocked against you harder, every single time his head hitting harder against your cervix. You let out mewls as he picked up his pace; at this point you adjusted to his size and it was pleasurable.
Dabi pulled out and flipped you over as he thrusted back into you harshly. You let out a yelp as he just bucked your hips into you. Filthy words and phrases spilling out of his mouth.
“You’re mine.”
“You’re clenching so hard for my cock.”
“You’re such a slut for me.”
They came barreling out as he just continued to violently shove his cock deep into you. Over and over again. Another orgasm left your body as your toes curled and your back arched up.
“That’s it, cum on my cock you lil’ whore.” As if to increase stimulation he tweaked and pinched at your hardened nipples causing you to thrash and squirm as whimpers left your mouth. Your fingers fisted into the bedsheets and Dabi thrusted harder.
“Tell me who owns you, whore,” He demanded between pants. He was close. So, so close.
“You do, Dabi,” You sob out as he continues to pinch and knead your breasts.
“That’s fucking right!” His thrusts become sloppy, and he suddenly lets out a loud groan releasing into you. Riding out his high as you slowly get over your afterglow.
You both are panting hard, and he lays completely on you. His fingers run gently through your hair, you barely manage to make eye contact with him; he smirks as he notices your eyelids getting heavy and sleep enveloping you.
 *********
Your eyes slowly open blinking a couple of times to adjust your surroundings. There is a dull soreness between your thighs, actually every part of you felt sore. You weakly sit up as you look down to see that your dressed in different clothing. Your fingers trail to your hipbone to feel a new set of panties were put on you, and you were in a big t-shirt; unfortunately, you had no bra on. You rub your eyes as you look down and see a chain around your ankle. You lean over to slightly pull at it; you sighed in defeat.
The door opened and you looked up to be met with the eyes of your captor.
“Good afternoon, doll…” He stated casually. You narrowed your eyes at him.
“Afternoon?”
“Ah yes, you were asleep for roughly about eighteen hours,” Dabi answers as he walks in with some items in both of his hands. Closing the door behind him with the back of his foot, “I suppose I should have taken into consideration that your sister did say you were sleep deprived and that you were indeed a virgin.”
You silently watch as he sits beside you and opens a water for you handing it to you, “I can’t have you dehydrated either… Also, I need you to take this,” Dabi rambles as he hands you both the water and a small pill. Your eyes look back up at him with a suspicious glint.
“I don’t think you want kids right now,” Dabi smirks as he looks down at the pill.
Oh… it’s a plan B.
You nod in confirmation as you obediently take the pill and swallow it down with some water. You drink some more of the water realizing your more parched than you thought. He lets out a chuckle. You were still trying to wake up, and it doesn’t go passed his mind he could easily fuck you right back to sleep.
“Why am I still here?” You question. “You took my virginity, isn’t that enough?”  You inquire further.
He hums contemplating on how to answer, “Because you’re my property… It’s pretty simple actually… Date your dumb sister for about a month… well a month was the plan, but that didn’t work… and then I knew she would send you because she’s prideful and stubborn like that,” Dabi finishes.
“Wait. Wait. We skipped chapters, Dabi… you’re making it sound as if you had met me way before you met my sister. We were never introduced to one another till after y’all started dating.”
“Hm… Oh, right. I knew you before I knew your sister, but you didn’t know me…” Dabi explained as if it was completely normal.
“But that doesn- “
Dabi raises his hand to cut you off, “Enough questions, doll. Don’t inquire too much, I don’t like it… I need you to eat,” He says as he hands you some food in your hand. His thumb reaches over and gently grazes your cheek wanting to desperately fill your tight little cunt with his cock again, but he knows you need a small break.
“Gigi said you horrible at aftercare…” You whisper more to yourself, but he hears.
“Ah. I take care of my property, doll… but try not to piss me off, I will have to discipline you in ways you won’t enjoy,” Dabi warns. You take a bit of your warm food as you just nod.
“Now say it for me… that you’re my property…” Dabi demands. You swallow your food as you looked up at him. You didn’t want to, but it would be wise to not piss him off while you’re in no condition to fight.
“I’m… I’m your property,” You shakily finish. Dabi smirks and leans down placing a kiss on your forehead.
He knew you didn’t believe it, but he was going to get you to a point where you do believe it. That you’re his property.

Jungkook remains tight-lipped about what it was he had done over the weekend, when he had gone with Jin and Mina to a tattoo convention a few hours away. They had ended up staying the night there, and while Jungkook wanted to ask you to come with him, he wondered if it was too soon to ask. After all, you were both still enjoying each other’s company at your own sweet pace.
Eventually his little secret gets put on the back burner for the rest of the week. You were supposed to get bubble tea with him on Tuesday, but unfortunately a last minute work issue with your client and your application came up. You’d ended up working late, your eyes screaming in fatigue and went straight to bed that evening. He had understood, of course he did.
On Thursday, he was supposed to grab lunch with you at a cafe that he thought you might like, but this time it was him who had a conflict. His older sister had showed up to the tattoo parlor without any prior notice. She does this every so often, when things aren’t going well with her on again, off again shitty “boyfriend”.
Jungkook had sighed, cancelling on lunch with you to spend time with Jooyeon and comfort her with fried chicken and ice cream. You had sent an understanding thumbs up and a promise to call him later and end up having lunch with your work wife, Kira instead.
Kira who doesn’t fail to point out the glow in your cheeks and your general aura, even though it’s been nearly a week and a half since you saw Jungkook last. You roll your eyes and ignore the flames in your cheeks (and her laughter), and change the subject to your work projects. She tells you about some of the coding issues and compliance issues she’s been having with her software, and you tell her about the hours you’ve been pouring into your application for your client.
It doesn’t bother you that Jungkook hadn’t asked if you wanted to meet his sister. After all, he’d told you bits and pieces about her and her relationship. And in the last few weeks, your relationship has blossomed so beautifully. There was no reason to rush, you think. You’ll meet her hopefully under better circumstances for her.
Jungkook spends most of the evening with Jooyeon, letting her cry herself to sleep in his bed. His sister hardly ever cries like this, with sobs full of pain and hurt because of another man. But it’s been happening too much lately, too many fights and too much of Joo losing herself. It makes Jungkook see red more often than not. He knows what you’d say- that she needs him more than anything else and to not be so impulsive.
He makes sure Joo eats a warm meal before she falls asleep and he shoots you a text:
Jungkook: baby
You: hi
You: everything ok?
Jungkook: no, joo’s bf is a fkin asshole
Jungkook: she’s sleeping
Jungkook: miss u
You: im sorry baby :( can i call you?
He jumps at the chance, the sound of your voice and sight of your pretty face on video call instantly calming him. Jungkook is sure to wear a beanie to hide his surprise for you (but you don’t question it. After all, you’ve seen him in beanies plenty of times before and it’s dim in the apartment.) He moves to the couch, asking softly for you to tell him about your day. You recount every single detail from memory, shifting under your covers to tell him about how you had nearly stumbled down the stairs in front of your manager’s manager because you had missed a step.
It pulls a soft laugh from him.
“Jungkook,” You say quietly, “Do you want to talk about it?”
“I don’t even know what to say,” Jungkook sighs, “She’s just… Byung-woo and her have had this on and off thing for years now. He won’t commit to her and she just refuses to see him for what he is. Like, when it’s good, it’s really good. But when it’s bad, it’s awful. I wish she’d fucking see it for herself. I don’t know what to do anymore, baby.”
“Oh, baby,” You murmur, wishing you could hug him, “All you can do is be there for her but be honest with her. She’ll come around soon, hopefully. It’s hard to see past a shitty person sometimes, when all you want is for them to love you.”
“I hope so, too,” Jungkook says, “She’d love you, you know?”
“Who wouldn’t?”
“Don’t get a big head,” Jungkook chuckles, “Maybe you can meet her someday. Under better circumstances, I mean.”
“Really? You want me to meet your older sister?” You ask softly, feeling a little flustered, “That’s serious.”
“I told you, baby,” Jungkook soothes, “I’m serious about you.”
“Yeah. Seriously crazy about me,” You giggle to yourself. You know if Jungkook was with you, he’d flick your forehead.
“It’s true,” He murmurs, “Maybe I can see you this weekend?”
“Yeah, you still have to show me what you did over the weekend! Take care of Jooyeon first,” You reply, “Let me know if you need anything. I’ll drop stuff off, just tell me.”
“I will,” Jungkook promises, “Sleep well, I miss you.”
“Sleep well. I miss you.”

Jooyeon ends up leaving on Saturday morning after a lecture from Jungkook and with determined resolve in her eyes. You jump at the chance to take him out tonight, knowing how stressed he’s been the last few days.
You: be ready at 6:30 tn, im taking u out. and dress slutty
Jungkook doesn’t know how to interpret your text when he reads it. He considers asking Mina and Mei what this means, but ultimately leaves it alone. Replying to your message with a quick thumbs up, he busies himself with getting ready to see you (and surprising you, finally after a full week of wanting to show you what he had done.)
Tumblr media
Once you parallel park your car (which takes far too long than you’d like to admit), you grab the small bouquet of purple roses that you had gotten for Jungkook and text him saying that you’ll be up in a few minutes.
Taehyung had caught you struggling to parallel park, and had told Jungkook with a snicker. Which earned him a punch to the arm.
There wasn’t a particular reason that you had chosen to get purple roses for him, other than the fact that they reminded you of him. You hope he likes them.
Jungkook hears a soft knock at the door, and can already envision you behind it. He hopes you like his surprise, the one he’s been teasing you for a week about. You had given no hints of what you would be wearing- you had only sent him one selfie that didn’t give much of a hint into your outfit. He has no doubt that you’ll look gorgeous, but still.
Maybe Jungkook’s nerves shouldn’t be this intense, but he can’t help it. He swings the front door open, only to be greeted by you swaying on your feet with your hands held behind your back. His heart throbs when you pull your hands apart and present him with a beautiful bouquet of purple roses.
How ironic.
“Hello,” You say with a small smile, suddenly feeling a little shy and gasping when your eyes land on his hair, “Wow. You weren’t kidding…”
His hair is tied back into a ponytail, but it’s unmistakably elegant and so violet. Two neat pieces of his newly dyed hair fall into his face effortlessly, but then your gaze reaches the piercing on his left eyebrow. Your lips remain parted in surprise and without thinking, you reach up to touch his hair. It’s still soft, as it always is.
“Come in, baby,” Jungkook says, taking the roses from you, “You must really like me, huh? Got me flowers and everything?”
“Shut up,” You mutter, cheeks heating up, “Don’t get a big head.”
Jungkook only grins wolfishly at you and winks at you, eyes unashamedly glued to your ass. You roll your eyes, and swat his shoulder as you watch him put the rose in a vase and place it in the center of the dining table.
This isn’t the first time you’ve been in his shared apartment (that he lives with Taehyung and Jimin in) but you somehow feel shy in his presence again, as if it was the first time. The first time you had been here with him had been the first time you had spent the night at his apartment several weeks ago, after a night out with your friends.
You let your gaze wander, curious eyes settling on the subtle matching of the furniture and the cleanliness of the apartment. There’s not a stray speck of dust in sight, but maybe you’re distracting yourself from addressing the pretty purple of his hair. Your mouth is dry, and you’re probably drooling a little. You wonder if Jungkook prepared for this, the same way you did (in that you had washed your car, cleaned every inch of it and gotten a new car freshener).
A faint scent of fresh laundry and lavender sits in the spaces of his home. It calms you and gives you the boost to turn your eyes to him.
“Thanks for the roses, baby,” Jungkook says, giving you a smile and starry eyes. He pulls you into his arms, your back against the counter. “Surprise. Do you like it?”
“Uh,” You mumble, brain deciding to short-circuit with the way he looks at you. His smile turns into a smirk, deciding to further render you speechless by pressing himself closer to you and cradling your neck. He’s careful not to touch your face. He doesn’t want to mess your makeup up terribly, at least not yet.
“I know you like my hair. Your face says it all, baby,” Jungkook continues and ducks his head for a quick kiss, “You’re pretty.” He does quite like this dress, light blue and dotted in small flowers with thin straps. His eyes are instantly drawn to the drawstring at the center of your chest and he quells the urge to pull at it.
Jungkook’s mouth waters when he sees the side split of the dress but you want more from him immediately, but he pulls away to your chagrin. Even with the simple kiss, the burgundy color of your lipstick stains his plump bottom lip.
You shiver. It appears that he tried to take your words via text to heart- to dress slutty. He’s wearing a loose animal print button up, with the top three buttons undone. It gives you a delectable view of his pecs, his collarbones and a hint of the tattoo on his right side. As if you weren’t already weak in the knees for him as it was, he wears a black coat and tight, leather pants.
Jungkook pulls it off, like he pulls everything off and the purple hair blends seamlessly with his look. Tonight, he’d opted for two silver hoops in each ear and a thin silver necklace to match.
Your knees are weak, they’ve been weak since you had seen him in this offensive outfit and his hair, his new piercing that was clearly an attack on your entire existence.
The purple hair. The piercing. He’ll be the death of you tonight, you know it. Your legs are wobbly, panties already probably a little wet just from seeing him and from a few of his kisses. But you can’t help it. Without thinking, you press your lips to his, drawing your tongue into his mouth eagerly. You are so hungry, so eager to devour him and drink up anything that he offers you. Jungkook tugs you closer to him lightly by your waist but-
“Seriously? Right in front of my dinner?” Comes an amused voice from behind Jungkook and you nearly screech at the familiar sound of Jimin’s voice.
“I- I didn’t-You-” You stammer, feeling your face heat up to a degree that it’s definitely never heated up to before. You hide behind Jungkook to fix your surely wrecked lipstick. You’re certain his own lips are probably comically smudged with your lipstick as well. “Sorry Jimin, I didn’t mean to. I didn’t know, we’ll leave-”
Jungkook only rolls his eyes at Jimin’s wide smirk and knowing eyes. He hears you scolding Jungkook for not telling him that anyone was home, to which he promptly responds “well, you didn’t ask!”
Tumblr media
Despite the very natural and easy flow of conversation between you and Jungkook in your car, you still feel overheated and jumpy, your fingers incessantly tapping on the steering wheel. It’s not Jungkook, it’s you and your own nerves. It’s not the first time you’ve gone out to dinner with him and it’s certainly not the first time you’ve had him in your car. If Jungkook notices, he says nothing.
“Where are we going, baby?” Jungkook asks, looking at you. You don’t meet his eyes, choosing instead to focus on the road despite being at a red light.
“Umm, that place you mentioned the other day. The one we talked about trying together,” You say softly. Jungkook can only wonder why you’re a little quiet, but he thinks he knows. You slip into your head so easily and he doesn’t mind gently tugging you out of your thought cloud and into reality with him.
“Can you help me park,” You mumble sheepishly, “I get nervous parking in such tight spaces.”
“Yeah, pull over here before it’s impossible to,” Jungkook murmurs. You nod and do so, hopping out of the driver’s seat to switch places with him. But before you can get in the passenger’s seat, Jungkook grips your wrist loosely. You look at him curiously, with wide eyes and he drops a kiss to your lips, swallowing your surprise.
“You’re so pretty,” Jungkook murmurs, “So fucking pretty, baby. I love this dress on you.” You preen at his praise, leaning forward for another kiss with a shy smile. He subtly squeezes your left tit before letting his hand travel downward.
“You look really good, Jungkook,” You murmur before he kisses you, “I-I really, really like it. A lot.”
He gently caresses your thigh from under your dress, the heat of his hand shooting straight up your core. Jungkook slips his tongue into your mouth quickly, coaxing your endearing nervousness away. As if you both aren’t pulled over to the side of the street where cars are passing you by (and surely wondering why you both were making out like this in public).
“Are we gonna be those people who have a roadside quickie,” You laugh, gently pushing his shoulder when you pull away.
“Roadside quickie? Get your mind out of the gutter,” Jungkook says but his lips twist into a wicked smirk, “But hey, if you wanna give me road head, I’m not going to complain about it-”
“Ha, you would be so lucky,” You scoff, feeling your nerves beginning to ease out of you, “C’mon, our reservation is soon. And then we can talk about road head.”
Tumblr media
Dinner goes perfectly and after a glass of wine you feel those inexplicable nerves wash away. What did you have to be nervous for anyway? It was Jungkook- Jungkook who you’ve known for years. Your friend before any of this. He asks you about work, how your application is going-
“Your client sounds pretty demanding,” Jungkook muses, “You keeping up with it okay?”
“Yeah, but I’m not even an application engineer so I’m just learning as I go. My true roots are data and data science but I get to see all of it. Which is cool. But also time consuming, like the other evening, I had to read up on the compliance regulations. But my favorite thing is creating modeling and programs for this app, it’s really cool because it’s healthcare specific. So I’m learning about that sector as well, it’s mostly python but we’ve been doing testing with different healthcare providers in the area and they’re all responding really well to it-” You’re rambling, you know it, but your passion for your career knows no bounds and Jungkook makes no move to stop you. He only smiles at you, eyes crinkling and nose scrunching, gesturing for you to continue.
It’s funny. Not even a few months ago, you would have cut yourself off from your own rambling. In an attempt to convince yourself that the other person didn’t need to hear about it. Maybe that was Sora’s subconscious influence on you. Today, you don’t think twice about it, glowing and shimmering under the dim, blue lights of the restaurant as you tell Jungkook more about your job.
He makes your heart race and he’s sitting right in front of you. Your chin is in your hands as you listen to the pretty words slipping out of his lips. He’s so dreamy, and you struggle to not let your gaze stray from his eyes and linger on his exposed tattoos and chest. You don’t even know where to look, deciding to settle on the way his newly purple locks fall to his forehead just perfectly.
“What do you wanna eat for dessert?” You murmur, looking at the menu and cautiously allowing your foot to brush against his.
In hindsight, you should’ve seen it coming-
“You,” Jungkook says easily, as if he’s talking about the weather.
“Corny,” You roll your eyes, but nudge his foot again. You end up deciding on sharing a slice of decadent, chocolate mousse cake. Which Jungkook ends up finishing off when you satisfy your sweet tooth after a few big bites.
He leans over without a second thought, thumbing away stray cream from the corner of your mouth. Your tongue darts out to lick the tip of his thumb and he looks at you with wide eyes before grinning roguishly.
“Wanna get outta here, baby?”
Tumblr media
“Should I take you home, Jungkook?” You ask, finding the courage somewhere in the remnants of the glass of wine currently evaporating from your system to take his hand in your lap once you’re both settled in your car.
“Do you want to take me home?” Jungkook asks with a quirked eyebrow.
“I have some wine I think you’d like at my place. I just got it,” You say a little breathlessly, “And I have to inspect something, I might need your help.” Jungkook laughs, a little derisively and you pout.
“You don’t have to bribe me with wine, baby. You know I would’ve been down regardless,” Jungkook says, squeezing your hand, “What do you need to inspect? Do you have a leak or something?”
“Yeah, I’ve got a leak alright,” You say under your breath, thinking about the growing wetness in your panties, “My man just showed up here with purple hair and an eyebrow piercing, looking like a damn model after one whole week. I have to inspect him.”
“Oh, is that so? In that case, I would love to be your lab rat. Besides, it’s not like I haven’t seen the inside of your bedroom before-”
“Who said you’d get that far?”
“I already did, baby. Did you forget?” Jungkook’s smirk widens, eyes sparkling with mischief. He gently cups your face, thumb on your chin and hovers just over your lips. You think he’s about to kiss you, so you close your eyes in anticipation of his lips on yours.
But it never comes. Instead, his breath fans over your cheeks and he lets out a low laugh. “I sure didn’t forget, and I know you didn’t either.”
You roll your eyes and swat his hand away, ignoring (but letting out a smile) when he chuckles. You decide to hold his hand for as much of the drive back home you can.
Tumblr media
Jungkook’s hands are on your hips even as you’re fumbling with the keys to your front door. He’s a distraction, his warm heat plastered against your back and the simple act of opening your damn door feels like too much of a chore. When Jungkook’s lips glaze over the back of your neck, his fingers roaming your waist, it’s difficult for you to focus.
So Jungkook scoffs and turns the key for you. “Can’t open the door, baby?” Jungkook taunts and you level him with a glare.
“It’s not my fault you can’t keep your hands to yourself in front of my door!”
“You like it,” Jungkook says, shutting the door behind him and hugging you as you try to walk away from him to wash up. You escape his grip with a giggle and lock yourself in your bathroom, while Jungkook waits with a disgruntled pout.
When you come out, you head into the kitchen to pour out two glasses of wine and bring some snacks out. You’re not particularly hungry, though you wouldn’t mind eating and you’re sure Jungkook wouldn’t mind either.
Your train of thought is of course interrupted by the man himself and he wraps his arms around you from behind, pushing you into the counter. One might say that Jungkook is being clingy, but you know this is how he shows his affections. Through physical touch more than anything else. And you quite like it, you like the reassurance of his body close to yours. It’s what you’ve always wanted and never known that you needed.
“Missed you,” He breathes into your hair. Even if he’s been with you for the last few hours… You understand him. It feels like you’re both making up for lost time. For time that you could’ve spent together, rather than apart.
“Me too,” You murmur, “Can you take this to the couch, honey? I’ll bring the glasses and the wine.”
Jungkook hums and kisses your temple, squeezing your ass before heeding your soft demand. You sit next to him, thighs touching, and pour out a glass for both of you to enjoy. You lean against his shoulder, wrapping an arm around his bicep and turn the television on. But neither of you are really paying attention.
“Hey,” Jungkook murmurs, “I had a good time tonight, baby.”
“Don’t I know it,” You say smugly, “It’s not everyday a pretty girl takes you out for din-” He cuts your words off by pulling you into his lap, somehow not spilling even a single drop of wine in the movement. You would’ve killed him if even a hint of a wine stain appeared on your velvet couch.
You press your hand into his shoulder, the hint of his tattoo and the glint of his piercing catching your eye. You swirl your glass of wine with your other hand. “What a precarious position to be in,” You say dryly, even grinding your hips into his playfully. He gives you a look, and stills your movements with one hand on your waist. Jungkook sets his glass on the coffee table behind you and cradles your neck, pulling you down for a sharp kiss. It’s almost desperate and needy, nothing like his kisses from before.
You slip your tongue into his honeyed mouth, tasting seeds of his desperation with your tongue. But then, you remember your wine glass and pull away from his lips with a lewd smack to reach behind you and place it on the coffee table as well.
“So pretty,” Jungkook moans, pushing the straps of your dress to the side and dotting your shoulders in wine-stained kisses, “Pretty girl, my pretty baby-”
You tilt his cheek towards you for a kiss, whining into his mouth at his praise. It shoots down your spine in a delicious hum and his hands roaming the expanse of your back makes you feel warm and powerful.
The way your hips move in time with his, the way you fit into the crevices of his thighs and his chest- he just wants to give you everything. He wants to treat you the way you deserve to be treated. Jungkook will give you everything, if you let him.
“And what about you?” You rasp with swollen lips and wild eyes when you finally pull away. You press your fingers into the exposed, inky part of his chest, where his shirt is unbuttoned for your eyes. “You look so fucking good all the time, but-but I told you to dress slutty and you did this for me, huh? You did this for me, bunny?”
Jungkook’s cock jumps in his tight pants and his throat goes dry. Your eyes are devious, filled with mischief and sin and he gives himself to you fully and wholly.
“Yeah,” Jungkook nods eagerly, “Yeah, I wanted to look nice for you, baby.”
“A-and your hair,” You mumble, feeling a little lovesick, “I love it, I love it, I love it-I just wanna- wanna make you feel good. Can I do that, bunny? Make you feel good?”
Jungkook nods with wide, doe eyes, wondering how the tables were turned so quickly.
“Take me to my bedroom,” You demand softly. The glasses of wine and snacks on the tray are left forgotten as Jungkook easily scoops you up in his arms. Even with your lips soft and slow against his neck, he somehow makes it to your bed.
Tumblr media
It’s definitely not the first time you’ve had Jungkook in your bed (or that you’ve been in his bed). It’s not the first time you’ve peeled his shirt off meticulously and licked your way down his chest, to unbutton his tight pants. It’s not the first time he’s seen you on your knees on your bed (to alleviate the strain on your knees if you were on the floor).
By now, the shock of your impatience has worn off. Jungkook frequently reminds you to slow down, that you both have nowhere to be except with each other.
It looks like his pants are glued to his legs, and while you can appreciate the visual, you want to appreciate the real thing. You groan in frustration and Jungkook does the work for you, pushing the offending fabric away and breathing a sigh of relief. You crawl closer to him, nails featherlight against his taut thighs.
He’s golden, his body taut and spilling with swirls of color in the divots of his muscles. Your mouth waters.
But Jungkook moves your hands away when you start inching closer, wanting to palm his cock. He joins you on the bed, pushing your back to the bed and hiking the skirt of your dress up to your hips. His hands are tight and warm and welcome on your hips, a flare of desire shooting down your spine and straight to your pussy. You buck your hips up towards him with a pout but he only squeezes.
“What did I tell you,” Jungkook murmurs, swatting your thigh lightly.
“You’ll have to remind me,” You breathe.
“Told you to slow down, baby,” Jungkook says, letting his fingers trail up your thighs and slip under your panties. His hand is warm in contrast to the rings on his fingers. They do little to cool your skin, though. “Impatient girl.”
“You say that like a bad thing-”
“And you talk so fucking much,” Jungkook drawls, hovering over you and dropping his weight on top of you, nudging your cheek to kiss you. You reach upwards to thread your hands through his hair but he’s quick, so much quicker than you. Jungkook pins your wrists with just one hand, and the mere action, the mere display of strength has you sighing and your pussy fluttering.
“Lift your hips,” Jungkook says thickly, and you do so immediately. It’s easy for him to pull your black lace panties off to the side. But before he does so he gives you a small smile of approval, knowing that you wore them specifically for him to see.
“I really do love this dress, baby,” He says, “Makes your tits and your ass look amazing.”
“Take it off, then. And see the goods up close,” You say, wiggling against his grip.
“I will,” Jungkook says lazily, “Don’t you worry your pretty head about it.” Without a single warning, he lifts you up easily into his lap. Your bare pussy brushes against his bare cock deliciously, your hips moving of their own accord. He stills you again, and carefully unzips your dress and pulls it off of you. His fingers on you are soft but firm, leaving your head spinning and hazy.
You haven’t even had his cock yet, and you’re about ready to combust. Jungkook pushes you on the bed, your tits bouncing with the force of your back hitting the mattress and hovers over you. You pull at his hair a little impatiently and he groans, the sound reverberating across the walls only to ring in your head. You want to hear it again, and again and again.
“Jungkook,” You whine, “Please, bunny, do something. Look at me, look at my pussy, come clean me up-”
“So needy,” Jungkook murmurs and ignores you in favor of kissing your tits, rubbing your nipples with his fingers, “‘M needy for you too, baby.”
“You’re so hard, so big,” You babble, “Please, want your cock, baby.”
Impatient. Jungkook kisses your chest, your belly, your hips and makes you cum on his tongue twice (while you tear up and cry a little bit, gripping his purple locks fiercely and holding onto his shoulder) before letting you stroke his cock. You’re about to push him on his back to blow him with determined eyes, but he stops you.
It appears he’s impatient too, and he wants to see you cream his cock before cumming all over your tits (which has become his favorite place to).
Tumblr media
“Jungkook,” You breathe sharply, “There, baby, right there-” You cut yourself off with a groan, stilling your hips and pushing his face into your chest. Jungkook’s groans are muffled against your tits, but you feel the wetness of his lips and the warmth of his tongue over your nipples.
“Shit,” You mumble, “Feels so good-”
“So pretty, baby,” Jungkook coos, pulling away from your tits to look up at you with lust in his eyes, “I’m yours, all yours-”
You groan, bouncing on his cock even harder as a flare of possessiveness flashes across your belly. “Move back,” You say softly, “Lay down. I’m gonna ride you so good, baby.”
Jungkook barely has a chance to catch his breath before your nails are on his chest, trying to hold yourself steady as you push yourself down onto his cock, pulling a deep moan of your name from his lips. His hands are tight on your hips, watching with wide eyes- he doesn’t know where to look, what to do.
He squeezes when one of your hands drifts over his and rests on top of his hand.
“I’m yours, I’m yours,” Jungkook mumbles, “Whatever you want baby, I’m yours-”
“You talk so much,” You say hoarsely, with a wicked smile, “It’s cute.” Your free hand floats upward, resting loosely at the base of his neck. His chain is cold against his heated skin but all he can focus on is the glide of your hand over his neck.
His cock twitches inside you and your smile widens. “Is this okay?” You whisper, “This okay, bunny?”
“Harder,” Jungkook groans, “Fuck, harder, baby.”
“Like this?” You ask innocently, closing your hand around the sensitive spots of his neck. His pretty eyes flutter as he nods, a quiet moan slipping out into the air.
“You’re pretty like this,” You say softly, “Shit, you’re pretty like this…”
He lets out a choked laugh at that. You lean forward, pressing your lips to his hastily. Jungkook thrusts upward, hips meeting your ass but your hand doesn’t leave his neck. Not just yet. You breathe into his mouth, allowing him to swallow your soft whimpers.
You wet your lips with a loud smack and cradle his cheek gently. Jungkook is mesmerized by the heat in your eyes, smoldering and burning through his skin. You let your fingers glide over your clit, gathering wetness and before Jungkook can ask what you're doing-
“Open,” You mumble hoarsely, “Open, bunny.”
Pushing a finger past his chapped lips, you gasp at the sight of him below you with your fingers in his mouth.
You could cum just from watching him. His tongue swirls over your finger before sucking lightly with a pretty flush covering his cheeks. Your eyes widen, another gasp brushing over his cheeks.
“Fuck,” You mumble dreamily, “You’re so good, bunny.”
Your body is burning, jaw slack and the feeling of Jungkook’s bare cock inside of you almost too much to handle. It was wildly irresponsible- he wasn’t wearing a condom and you weren’t on birth control, and it was a conversation for later. But you can’t think, not when it feels this good, not when you’ve had a taste of his cock in this way. Besides, he always pulls out just in time. But still, you both should know better.
“Oh, Jungkook,” You whine, “‘m close, I’m so fucking close, make me cum, bunny-”
“Baby,” Jungkook rasps, “My pretty baby looks so good on my cock like this. My smart, kind, b-beautiful girl, my angel-”
Tears prick your eyes- it’s easy for you to become overwhelmed like this. You tug your hands away and thread your fingers through his, dipping your head for a kiss.
“You like that, angel? You like being mine?” Jungkook murmurs, slowing your hips so he can take over. But he knows you’re close.
“Only yours,” You mumble. Jungkook pulls you into his chest swiftly and flips you so that you’re on your back. He places your legs over his shoulders and brackets your head with his forearms, his necklace just above your nose and his hair tickling your face. But you're mesmerized by the determination and adoration in his eyes.
“Jungkook,” You murmur brokenly, “O-oh, y-yeah, baby, there, mmmf-” You squeeze his biceps with a gasp, watching his face closely. Pushing his hair behind his ears, you cradle his cheek and pull him down for a sweet, long kiss.
His fingers dance across your thighs and rub your clit in slow circles and murmuring soft words of praise in your ear. You’re vaguely aware that your body erupts in a tidal wave of flames, warming you from inside out. You don’t hear anything except for your cries of his name, you don’t see anything but him through your blurry eyes.
“Baby,” Jungkook says through clenched teeth, “O-open your mouth, baby. Fuck, baby, this pussy- I’m gonna cum, baby, fuck-”
You open your mouth with hooded eyes and your tongue lolling out and Jungkook pulls out of you abruptly with a series of curses. He’s not fast enough to get all of his cum in your mouth, some of it landing on your cheek. You swallow his cum with a dopey smile and open your arms for him to bury his face in your tits.
“Fuck, baby,” Jungkook says breathlessly, rolling off of you and pulling you into his side, “This pussy’s gonna be the death of me. Where’d you learn to ride dick like that, huh?”
“I’ll never tell,” You mumble, “Gimme a kiss.”
And so he does, tasting himself on your lips. He kisses you nice and slow, just how you both like after a night like this. Eventually he cleans you up and you do the same for him.
Tumblr media
Under the covers with only the shared warmth between your sheets to keep you company, you rest your head on Jungkook’s bicep and look up at him. Your fingers continue tracing patterns on his chest, tracing the swirls and curves of ink as they appear.
Jungkook dips his head to nudge your nose and you softly laugh as his hair falls into your face. “What are you thinking about, baby?” He murmurs, lazily draping an arm over you. By now, you’ve realized that Jungkook is possibly the most vulnerable with you in moments like this. When you’re both bare and basking in a post-sex haze.
That’s not to say that he’s not vulnerable at other times. But it’s just different like this.
You take his hand and thread your fingers through his. His fingers are bare, as you had taken his rings off and they’re currently sitting in your jewelry dish on your dresser.
“We just,” You murmur, “We spent so long being apart. When we should’ve been together. All because I…”
“Stop,” Jungkook says firmly but gently, “Don’t do that. You’re where you’re supposed to be. We’re where we’re supposed to be.”
“But we wasted so much time not being together because of me,” You mumble forlornly, feeling your throat getting a little dry, “Because I listened to Sora and didn’t-”
“Oh, baby,” Jungkook says, pulling you in for a hug and a forehead kiss, “That’s not true at all. We’re together now, and we both had some growing to do. That’s what matters.”
“Okay,” You reply in a strained voice. You don’t quite sound like you believe him, and Jungkook makes a mental note of that. “Do you feel like… we have lost time to make up for?”
“Do you feel like that?” Jungkook counters, making your heart skip a beat, “Because I don’t. I know it’s hard, baby, but you can’t beat yourself up for that. It’s in the past, baby. Forgive yourself. There’s nothing to race against, it’s just me and you.”
“I’ll try,” You say a little meekly. Jungkook nods and pulls you in for a soft kiss, one that has your toes curling and your belly flipping. He shifts so that you’re tucked into his side, surrounded by him and his hands on your skin. He kisses you until your previous thoughts don’t feel so loud in your head, he whispers to you and pulls sweet laughs from your throat until you can detach from the strange cloud that had suddenly appeared.
He’s your safe place.

The One Where You Can’t Be Kept Apart
A/N - Thank you 🥕anon for sending in this request and another brilliant idea! I really hope you enjoy what I have come up with ☺️ Also, I was unsure with how to end it, so it took me a little longer to write than usual 😂
Disclaimer: This is inspired by the Friends episode ‘The One With the Memorial Service’ and is in no way my own original idea. I have also used some direct quotes from the episode for the purpose of keeping some fidelity towards the plot.
Tumblr media
You huff, folding your arms across your chest as Soobin begins to interrogate you. He’s only been at yours for a few minutes and you’re already tired of him. You get that he’s trying to look out for you and do as you asked of him; which he’s taking incredibly seriously. But is it really necessary for him to pay you a visit sporadically, just to see if he can catch you out?
It’s like he doesn’t trust you. Not that you blame him really, I mean you’ve just broken up with the love of your life, Yeonjun, and asked Soobin to make sure you don’t have any contact with him because you don’t trust yourself to keep away. But just because you have very little self control when it comes to Yeonjun, doesn’t mean that you need to be watched so often.
It’s been about two weeks since you and Yeonjun broke up after being happily together for just over a year. The reason being that you both realised you wanted different things for your future. Things that, even after much debate, neither of you were willing to compromise on.
It had always been your dream to fall in love with your soulmate and get married. Ever since you were little you’d indulge in your fantasy and act out these magical weddings with your friends. You, of course, always played the bride.
Now, Yeonjun has never been opposed to the idea of marriage. He just doesn’t see the point in having this big, expensive wedding. In his opinion it’s a waste of time and money. He would just be happy to elope.
And that’s the main issue that broke you up. You’d been so distraught over the idea of not having the wedding of your dreams, and Yeonjun stubborn in his views, that you’d come to the agreement that if you can’t agree on this then you’re not meant for each other.
From the second he received the news from you crying down the phone, Soobin had barely left your side. He’s been the most amazing friend to you and done everything he can to help you through this break up. And that’s exactly why you feel guilty for finding him annoying right now.
“I know you’re hiding something (Y/N).” Soobin mumbles, more so to himself than to you, but you hear him clearly none the less. “Who’s shoes are these?” He suddenly quizzes you, holding up a pair of dirty black trainers. Ok, so they aren’t the most fashionable shoes ever, but they are comfy and you have lost any motivation to put effort into your appearance right now. All you can seem to focus on is your heartbreak.
“They’re mine.” You deadpan, your sensitivity making it difficult to not be offended. And Soobin really should have known better because if he’d taken a second longer to look at the shoes he’d realise that they are too small to belong to Yeonjun.
“Oh, sorry.” He utters softly, placing the shoes neatly by the front door once again. You watch as he snoops his way around your apartment, in and out of rooms unsatisfied with his lack of finding anything.
That is, until a knock on your front door sounds. You casually make a stand from the sofa where you had previously been slouched, still sulking over Soobin’s insult over your shoes.
“Wait! I’ll get it.” Soobin calls out to you, hurrying past you. He practically pushes you away from the door; not that he intends to, he’s just oblivious to his actions in the moment.
“It’s just the takeout I ordered.” You sigh, throwing your hands up defensively.
Soobin shoots you a frown before turning the handle and swinging the door open.
“Oh my, what are the chances!” You pretend to be shocked, hands flying up to cover your mouth upon the disappointed look Soobin sends you when the door reveals Yeonjun. “7 billion people in the world and they send Yeonjun to deliver my food!” You continue, hoping that you sound believable enough. Though it’s unlikely with the way your best friend has been doubting you from the very second you asked him to help you keep away from Yeonjun.
Soobin simply rolls his eyes at your terrible acting, turning expectantly to look at Yeonjun for an explanation to his presence.
“I’m sorry, but when (Y/N) called I just couldn’t keep away.” His head hangs low, ashamed of his weakness for you… and for getting caught.
“How’d you even call him?” Soobin gawks at you, seriously confused as to how you found a way to contact Yeonjun without having access to a phone. Yes, Soobin had confiscated it first chance he got. But you have to admit that the time away from your phone has been quite nice.
“FaceTime on IPad.” You mumble sulkily, reluctantly admitting how you’d managed to go behind Soobin’s back. You’d hidden it from him so your parents could at least contact you if they needed… or so you’d convinced yourself.
“iPad, of course! I should have known.” Soobin shakes his head, scolding himself for not having realised sooner.
“Soobin, if (Y/N) and I want to see each other, then we should be allow-”
“This doesn’t concern you Yeonjun.” Soobin interjects Yeonjun’s justification. It’s not that he wants to be rude to Yeonjun, or that he doesn’t like him, it’s just that if he allows this then he’s failed at being a good, supportive friend to you.
“Oh really, maybe I was confused considering the mention of my name.” Yeonjun sasses back. “What I was saying was, why can’t we be friends?” Yeonjun, determined to finish what he wants to say, continues. You notice he doesn’t look at Soobin as he speaks, only you. And the pleading look he sends your way makes you melt.
“I guess there’s no harm in that.” You shrug, trying to not show your true emotions as you observe the wide smile that spreads out across Yeonjun’s face. You really had missed his smile so much.
“Well ok then. If you’re just hanging out as friends then I can join, cause I’m your friend and Yeonjun’s friend too.” Soobin announces and you stifle your laughter when you notice Yeonjun grimace at being called Soobin’s friend.
“I guess.” Yeonjun mumbles reluctantly as he is finally able to enter your apartment properly.
The three of you sit on the sofa, Soobin forcing himself in the small space between you. It’s awkward. No one knowing what to say first to break the silence.
“So how have you been?” Yeonjun is the first to speak, leaning around Soobin to see you.
“I’ve been good, thanks.” Soobin answers as you open your mouth to speak.
“And you?” Yeonjun chuckles now beginning to find Soobin amusing. His gaze is focused intently onto you, eager to finally talk properly with you after so long apart.
“I’ve been better.” You force a small smile.
When you’d initially contacted Yeonjun and invited him over, you’d been so desperate that you hadn’t given it any thought as to how you might feel when he’s actually here. It’s a lot more difficult to see him than you expected, and you know it’s just your overwhelming emotions talking, but you’re still in love with him.
Despite wanting nothing but to cave in and get back with Yeonjun, you remain strong and fight the urge. You don’t want the same things as each other. And the more you remind yourself of that, the more you are able to convince yourself that breaking up was the right thing for the both of you.
“I’ve missed you.” Yeonjun admits. You stare into his longing gaze, your heart racing as you see the sincerity pouring out of him.
“I’ve missed you too.” You whisper, not trusting your voice. You can feel your eyes well up as the words tumble from your lips without thought. Although, it’s true, you really have missed him with all your heart.
“You know, on my way over here I saw a pigeon throw up and then a rat ate it.” Soobin quickly jumps in and changes the moment as soon as he senses the mood getting too serious.
“I still think about you everyday. I mean it’s kinda hard not to when everything reminds me of you.” Yeonjun chooses to ignore Soobin’s obvious attempt at stopping your conversation.
You aren’t sure how to respond to him, so overwhelmed that you feel like the room is spinning.
“Ok, I’m gonna head to the bathroom.” Soobin stands from the sofa. “But I’ll be quick so don’t try anything.” He warns, waving his pointed finger between the both of you before he leaves.
“Look, I’m not going to ask to get back together because I know we want different things.” Yeonjun takes the opportunity to finally say what he’s wanted to say the whole time. “But just to be with you one more night…”
“I want that too, but isn’t that gonna make it too hard?” You try to reason.
“It can’t be any harder than the last few weeks…” And yet, Yeonjun’s words seem to make more sense than you’d like.
“If I’d known the last time I saw you would be the last time, I would have stopped to memorise your face, the way you moved. Everything about you. If I had know the last time I kissed you would be the last time, I never would have stopped.” You’re left speechless by Yeonjun’s confession. Seemingly frozen in shock, your mind blank of all thoughts.
“Kiss him, you fool!” Soobin jolts you out of your daze as he rushes back in to the room.
“Huh?” You scrunch your brows in confusion at your friend. He’s done a complete 180 flip after hearing Yeonjun’s speech.
“Didn’t you hear him? If you don’t kiss him, I will.” You stare at him in shock. This has got to be some sort of test, right?
Except Soobin’s expression is completely serious. You cast several quick glances between Soobin and Yeonjun, observing how the latter sends you an almost pleading look, probably silently begging you to not let Soobin kiss him.
Soobin must be serious about telling you to kiss Yeonjun, because he’s willingly encouraging you. And that’s what finally makes you give in, instantly closing the space between you and Yeonjun, your lips moulding perfectly together in a passionate kiss.
You both pull apart breathless, gazing deeply into each other’s eyes.
“I knew you’d be here!” You jolt apart when the door swings open and slams against the wall.
“Who is this?” Soobin questions, confusion clouding his features.
“It’s my friend Beomgyu.” Yeonjun sighs. “I asked him to keep me away from you.” Yeonjun directs the last part towards you.
You simply giggle at him, half still elated from your kiss, the other in amusement.
“Hey, I’m doing that for (Y/N).” Soobin beams.
“Well you’re not doing a very good job. What’s with all the kissing!” Beomgyu sasses back.
You cast your gaze back to Yeonjun when Soobin and Beomgyu begin bickering back and forth, too invested in their arguing to pay attention to either of you.
“Want to get out of here?” You whisper to him, wide grin on your face when he nods and grabs your hand; both of you sneaking out without being noticed and quickly rushing away to make up for lost time.
“Hey, where’d they go?” Soobin suddenly notices you’re missing.
“Ugh, we blew it.” Beomgyu grumpily mutters, defeatedly throwing his hands in the air.
“I blame myself.” Soobin shakes his head in disappointment.
“I blame you too.” Soobin sends Beomgyu a glare in response.

The Sommelier (Hannigram x Female!Reader) pt. 5
More people said yes to Hannigram, which is good because Will is already involved in the plot and it would be awkward to have him just disappear. Also, I had someone request a Hannigram x reader in my asks. Apologies to the one person who voted no; I promise there will be more solo Hannibal x reader content in the future.
Hannibal decides to that y/n could do with some extra protection, but doesn’t anticipate what she has to tell him.
I have no idea how to make a proper tag list but @deadman-inc-bikeshop and @dovahdokren here you go
Trigger warnings: discussions of alcohol, victim blaming
“When I saw his face, I immediately knew he had never once experienced the touch of his own hand, let alone that of a woman.” Charissa read out loud to everyone on staff. “Or, that he was buried so deep in the closet he found Narnia, but those two things aren’t mutually exclusive.”
It was expected to be a slow night, as was normal for an ordinary Tuesday. On nights like those, you could get away with more, like reading a tabloid article out loud for everyone to hear.
“I can’t believe [F/N] actually went public.” One of the new busboys commented. “What an absolute madlad.”
“Did you just unironically use reddit terminology in an actual conversation?” You narrowed your eyes at the kid.
“[F/N], you are making a very dangerous enemy.” An older waitress said, cryptically, from the corner of the room.
“Who, Jason?” You gestured to the busboy. “What’s he gonna do? Make me cringe myself to death?”
“You know that’s not who I mean.” She frowned. “I’m talking about Chase Mulvaney.”
“Don’t be ridiculous.” You shook your head. “He’s not stupid enough to come back here.”
Charissa made a noise that denoted her doubt. “I dunno, [F/N]. You’d have to be pretty stupid to start stabbing people at a crowded restaurant in broad daylight.”
“But he was smart enough to get away, right?” Jason asked. “That’s gotta count for something!”
You and Charissa exchanged glances. Neither of you had the emotional bandwidth to explain white privilege again. Instead, you just humored him.
“Yeah.” Charissa lied. “He was smart enough to get away, meaning he probably knows better than to come back.”
"You're kidding yourself." A third waitress, who's name you couldn't seem to place, added. "People always say that killers are these galaxy-brained superhumans, but they're not. Mulvaney believes he's divinely ordained, so any thought that pops into his coked-out head is a sign from god."
And so shattered your thin firmament of denial. You made a point to never learn this person's name just out of spite.
“Oh, shit.” You said, trying to hide your genuine fear with a sarcastic voice. “Maybe he is coming back for me.”
Charissa glared at the two other waitresses, equally pissed at them for scaring you.
"And it'll be your own fault for provoking him with that article." The older waitress said.
"Holy victim-blaming, batman." You mumbled.
“Alright, listen up, y’all.” Matthew announced to the group. “In ten minutes we open for dinner. Remember, if you want to switch shifts with another person, you have to run it by me first. I don’t want to see anybody but [F/N] at the bar tonight, capiche?”
“Yessir.” You saluted him and made your way over to the bar. You’d been doling out your bartending shifts left and right to avoid even the possibility of being cornered by another Freddie Lounds. You were only prolonging the inevitable, though. Eventually, you needed to return to the bar.
You passed the hostess's stand, where Charissa was stationed. Suddenly, you felt someone grab at your arm.
"Fucking hell, dude?!" You flinched violently and your heart rate jumped. "Don't do that!"
"Shit, sorry!" Charissa looked immediately regretful. "But, look!"
You followed her gaze through the window where a fancy car was parked. He leaned against the door, adjusting the cuffs of his dress shirt.
Now your heart was beating fast for a completely different reason. You squeezed Charissa's hand, trying to keep a lid on your nervous excitement.
"I think your luck's starting to turn." She said in a sing-songy voice.
"Yeah, I bet he'll protect me from the Baltimore Butcher." You whispered, trying not to giggle like an elementary school girl.
"Oh, could you imagine those arms around you?" She sighed deeply, her hand firmly against her chest. "I would die."
"Not until he sinks his teeth into your neck." You smirked, gnashing your teeth together.
"I would let him." She rested her chin on her hand.
"Yeah, me too." You agreed.
"I would give anything to trade shifts with you." Charissa groaned.
"Well, you heard the boss." You shrugged, suddenly feeling much better about your assignment. "I gotta stay behind the bar."
"Oh, pobrecita." Charissa rolled her eyes. Underneath the stand, she put up her middle finger in your direction. "Suck a dick, [L/N]."
You walked backwards towards the bar, keeping your eyes on your friend. "That's the plan, baby."
You tried to make yourself look busy. You dared not look at him as he entered the restaurant.
He exchanged pleasantries with Charissa then took his seat at the bar. You pretended not to notice him right away, only to give you an extra second to compose yourself.
"Hi there." You greeted, knowing you'd feel stupid no matter what you said. "Er- good evening."
"[F/N] [L/N], I assume?" He asked.
Fuck, you thought. His voice was dark, low and made your insides tremble. Even though part of you knew he was going to know your name, it still felt so sensual passing his lips.
You realized you had waved to him with your bandaged hand. That's how he was about to identify you so quickly. "Yes, I am she. I mean- her. Me."
Way to go, dumbass. You thought. Now he knows you're nervous and he's going to wonder why.
“God, I need to stop wearing this damn thing.” You said, clearing your throat. “What can I get for you tonight?”
He was quiet for a moment. "What do you recommend?"
"Well, that depends." You said, pulling your gaze from him and grabbing a few wine glasses down from a high shelf. It was the only way you could maintain your composure.
"On?"
"What you're having for dinner, for one." You said. "And whether or not you're a vulpine tabloid journalist trying to corner me into a dubiously ethical interview. That's also a factor."
"So that's how Miss Lounds wore you down?" He concluded. "With wine?"
You rested your elbows on the bar, filled with an intoxicating confidence. "She tried wine first. Then she tried to get me fired because she asked for chardonnay and I brought her chablis. And when that didn't work, she siphoned my gas."
"I wish I could say that was out of character for her." He looked at you, apologetically.
"I take it you've had your own run-ins with Freddie?" You smiled.
"She's tried to infiltrate my practice multiple times." He sighed. "She's entered my office under a fake name with a recording device in her purse."
"What a sick fuck." You said, before remembering you really weren't supposed to curse in front of customers. You covered your mouth. "Sorry."
The corners of his mouth turned up into an amused smile. "Don't apologize. You're right."
“So you’re a doctor?” You asked, hoping he wasn’t the type to be offended by questions.
“I’m a psychiatrist.” He nodded. “I used to work as a surgeon, but I find the mind much more compelling.”
"Seriously, though." You pushed yourself back to your feet. "What can I get for you?"
He eyed the wine menu and then looked back at you. "What is your favorite red?"
"My favorite red?" You placed your hand on your collarbones. "On a night like this, I enjoy a nice, dry Argentinean Malbec."
"In that case," he thumbed through the list once more. "I'll have a bottle of Cobos Chañares from 2016, please."
You smiled. You wouldn't mind taking a sip of that if he offered. "Right away."
You carefully pulled the solid black bottle from its crevice and placed it on the bar. You removed the plastic seal and reached for the corkscrew. The bottle opened with a satisfying pop, filling the air around you with the strong, complex and seemingly contradictory aromas.
You poured a bit of this criminally expensive wine into his glass. He smelled it, then swirled it for a moment before taking a sip.
"Redcurrants and vanilla," he began. "With floral notes that operate with the precision of interlocking gears in a clock. Everything in its place."
"So you're a sommelier and a poet?" You tilted your head and filled his glass. "I'll bet you make women swoon at every corner."
You never had the best grasp on flirting, but even you knew that line was awful.
“Are you flirting with me, Miss [L/N]?” He asked, clearly not too worried about the consequences and enjoying the flattery. “Or are you just trying to get a taste of this Malbec?”
“Little bit of column A, little bit of column B.” You shrugged. “Though you are as handsome as everyone says, I’ve had my eyes on that wine for slightly longer.”
You fought the urge to slap your hand over your mouth. You had just broken the cardinal rule of workplace gossip. Panic reverberated through your body as you tried to break down his unreadable expression.
Once again, he just looked amused. “I’ve seen those lingering glances, the way you all whisper and giggle. It’s flattering.”
You felt your cheeks growing hot. “...I see.”
“If you tell me what they say about me, I’ll let you have a taste.” His eyes bored into yours.
You paused, trying to decipher exactly what he was offering. Then it hit you.
“Oh!” You interjected. “The wine.”
“Yes, that’s what I meant.” He said. “Dare I ask where your mind went?”
Your cheeks stung from all the uncomfortable smiling. “I’d really like to keep my job, thanks.”
“Have you never heard of bartender-client confidentiality?” His voice lowered and his eyes found your lips. “Nothing we say tonight has to leave these four walls.”
Your insides turned to jelly. He rested the wine glass in his hand and offered it to you. Your hands shaking, you cradled the glass like an 18th century French village prostitute being offered a mug of hot soup. You brought the glass to your lips, the strong, overwhelming smells assaulting your orifices.
You let the wine grace your tongue. You had taught yourself to overcome the sting of the alcohol and focus on the undertones. Your eyes rolled back in to your head and you let out a little noise of pleasure.
“Christ on a bike, that’s decadent.” You said, gasping for air a little bit. You quickly passed the glass back to him before Matthew could see you. “Thank you.”
“Now, indulge me.” He instructed, glancing at the fresh pink lipstick mark on his glass. “What do the lovely women of Terroir whisper while I’m just out of earshot?”
You rested your elbows on the bar and leaned in close. “They say you’re a vampire.”
Judging by his unchanging neutral expression, it clearly wasn’t the first time someone had made that connection. “Perhaps they’re on to something.”
“One of our line cooks used to say you were the devil.” You informed him, hoping that was one he hadn’t heard before.
“Used to?” He raised his eyebrows.
“Until Chase Mulvaney came around.” You instinctively ran your fingers over your bandages, as if to make sure they were still there. It was a nervous tick you’d developed anytime someone brought up that day. “He’s stopped talking about, like, anything having to do with his religion ever since.”
“It takes a lot to get an evangelist to stop evangelizing.” He refilled his glass. “Do you think he lost his faith?”
“I heard someone say in passing that it was because he and Chase Mulvaney went to the same church.” You whispered. “But I can’t verify that.”
“I’d say it’s more likely than a regular customer being a vampire, wouldn’t you?”
“I wouldn’t trust their word because they made a regular customer into a vampire.” You corrected, hoping he would overlook the fact that you were one of them. “Secrets may stay within these four walls, but they tend to bounce around. It’s only a matter of time before one escapes, and you’d better hope it’s not one of yours.”
This man must have been an exceptional therapist, because, there you were, baring your soul to him after fifteen minutes and one sip of wine. Occasionally, you were pulled away from the conversation by another customer who had the audacity to also want a drink. But, very few people came to you with the sole intent of drinking on a Tuesday evening. You and the sommelier talked until closing time.
“Thank you for a lovely evening, Miss [L/N].” He said pulling out his wallet. “You are as delightful in person as you are on paper.”
“Thank you, but I never caught-” you said, but stopped yourself. “I mean, you never gave me your name.”
He signed his name on the paper check, then pulled out a fifty and unceremoniously handed it to you. “Now why would you want to ruin the mystery?”
“Nothing we say tonight has to leave these four walls, remember?” You grinned and crossed your arms. “Come on, I won’t tell anyone.”
He took the customer copy of the receipt and scribbled something down on it. He the folded it in half and slid it in your direction as if it contained nuclear launch codes.
“Join me for dinner someday.” He ordered. “I’ll supply the Malbec.”

Lunchbox lovers request:
So I would love to see a sit down talk between yoongi and mc. Just so like mc can sort her feelings out about everything, and like get advice about forgiving Kook. Idk, I just want those two to have a chat between besties.

Tumblr media
cold senior!y/n x stem major koo masterlist :D
yoongi will be on y/n’s team — always
“what do you want for dinner?”
yoongi had the best afternoon nap anyone could ever possibly have
it was a mid-afternoon nap actually and something about it just hit different this time
there’s days when it’s extremely warm y’know? not hot, but like uncomfortably warm
it was that uncomfortably warm afternoon when everyone’s collectively feeling sleepy?? turn the airconditioning on to its coolest and sleep without a shirt on and be surrounded by a pillow on both sides......?
yeah that afternoon nap awhile ago really put yoongi on a happy mood
he’s not asking what you want for dinner because he slept good :D
excellent afternoon naps aren’t the only things that make him this way!! lol you could also count days when he receives a random gift out of nowhere and the days when you replace the toothpaste instead of him
but really, whether or not he gets these instances, he genuinely just asks you what you want for dinner so he could either cook it or order it
“what do you want for dinner?” yoongi nudges you from your spot on the couch, about to invade your personal space again and lie down on your lap before you get to cooking
you only hum in response, your best attempt at returning his affection coming in the form of tussling his hair
“we already have dinner, yoongs.”
omg that’s nice then
“you already cooked dinner? even while i was still asleep? wow, look at you,” he praises you abundantly, attempting to pinch your nose when you dodge him
.... that’s the thing though
yoongi watches you visibly freeze when you were doing anything in the first place besides watch your show in a still position
“i didn’t.”
oh
if your dorm was already silent, it became even mORE silent now
if you didn’t cook, then that means-
“jungkook brought dinner.”
yoongi finishes for you and it’s the far worse equivalent of two mothers bringing their own turkeys for thanksgiving
the show you’ve been rewatching is white noise at this point that you can’t recognize anything in this room besides yoongi
it’s been two weeks
that’s literally half a month
two weeks ever since jungkook’s been pouring active effort into working for your forgiveness and normalcy with him out of his own volition
alright maybe you’ll just focus on the gray streaks in yoongi’s new hair <3
and maybe he’ll just focus on the blue stain on your pink pajamas because he put them in the same load when they were newly-purchased <3
yeah but no you can’t do this forever
he can’t do this forever
you and yoongi can’t do this forever
the two of you can’t keep dancing around each other whenever the mention of jungkook pops up because the two of you have two dRASTICALLY different perspectives
right now, yoongi’s just awkwardly laying on your lap and he’s can’t even look up ay the ceiling
“do you wanna talk about it now?”
you end up caving by asking him first, a sigh of relief from holding it in which makes him relieved because he didn’t want to initiate that
“yeah, let’s talk,” he pulls himself up and he’s now looking at you with much embarrassment, “can we even have this conversation while completely sober?”
yoongi’s really rEALLY looking for a distraction to help ease this discomfort in his chest
okay you get where he’s coming from
“you mean you wanna share a joint with me while we have a long-overdue conversation?”
you chuckle at the mental image of yoongi seeing literal stars and freaking out about it, probably crying while he chats to you
“mhmmm. would probably calm our nerves. o-or maybe just mine, atleast.”
to be honest, he doesn’t even have quite a clue on wHY he’s nervous!! it’s the two of you and you’ve always been comfy with each other
that’s the whole foundation of your friendship — you’re fully comfortable with each other and the two of you find it difficult to be this comfy with anyone else
if he really delves deeper into it though, yoongi would know that the reason he’s so nervous for this conversation with you is because he doesn’t want to fight with you
you’d only have occasional tiffs and arguments ever once in a while, but never a fight!!
he’s not assuming that your conversation would turn into a fight, but that possibility scares him still because what if he loses you?
:(((
and if the two of you do fight, it would be over a junior named jungkook who broke your heart and probably insulted you to your core
he doesn’t want to romanticize it either, but if the two of you do fight, yoongi would want it to be something entirely else
he’s willing to have a fight about being messy and how it frustrates you so much
he’d pick a fight over his clingy habits and how it sometimes makes you feel insecure
he’d pick a fight over how he wants to be your number one best friend so bad that it’s beyond unhealthy he’s making it a competition
he’d want a fight over him being a lil insecure of seokjin at times because the two of you get along so well and know much mORE things than he ever could and he can’t always be included in the inside jokes
what yoongi doesn’t want is to fight over jungkook.
“that sounds nice,” you agree because maybe you too are feeling a little antsy, “but we could do that after.”
he nods, his hands curled to his lap that he only meets your eyes now
“okay.”
oh my god
what now
everything’s put out of the way and it’s now the part when you actually tALK
“are you mad at me?”
you take the first approach and it’s already heavy right from the start, the question weighing especially hard in your mind the past few weeks
“what? no. i could never be mad at you,” he answers just as quick and precise, “i’m mad at him.”
“and i understand that.”
you really do know where yoongi’s coming from because after all, you’re the receiving end of all of jungkook’s words at the time
but that’s the thing!!!
that’s tHEE thing that bothers yoongi the most
you have this feeling of guilt because you feel like you’re betraying yoongi in a way
“then why are you letting jungkook in again?”
it’s as if it’s a double-edged sword and merely entertaining jungkook would be a stab in the back to yoongi, even if you don’t owe him anything
“because i understand him too.”
yoongi deadpans at that, a tired sigh falling instinctively from his lips but his mind’s more awake now
“god, seriously?” he shakes his head and outstretches his hands to hold your shoulders in place. “y/n you are the most lovable person i know. you believe him when he told you otherwise-“
“i-i know it isn’t true. it’s not true when it comes from jungkook.”
your voice wavers but it’s not the only thing that’s coming in waves, your resolve blurring even more when you see yoongi fighting back his own tears
“but when it comes from me i-“
“it’s not true either.”
all that yoongi does is take you to his chest the moment your body feels limp with the sigh that escapes you, a knowing body of tears coming next
your parents’ divorce is the furthest thing from fresh but the impact it placed on you renews without warning, the thoughts coming in waves
they were sure to reiterate over and over again that it wasn’t your fault, but god the way that they never even bothered afterwards made you think otherwise
“i-i just feel like a placemarker and neither of them came back for me, y’know? don’t get me wrong, i love my aunt to pieces and she’s family and-“
your faint sobs rack your ribs and yoongi can feel them, a relief that your face is buried to his shoulder so that you wouldn’t see him cry
“jin and i are your family too.”
they are but deep down, you know it’s a whole other ball game
“b-but that’s because you’re unrelated to me. i don’t remind any of you of the other. i’m not your daughter.”
it really wasn’t as harsh as how your words cut out, but it just breaks yoongi’s heart to know how difficult is must have been and is for you
you mumble when you calm down enough, playing with a loose thread on the cardigan you’ve gifted him on his birthday this year
“jungkook didn’t know that sore spot. he couldn’t have, but i’m not defending him either, yoongi.”
you mean it with full sincerity and he’s trying to digest your words as best as he could before his bias gets the best of him
“it’s on him for being horrible to me, but it’s on me for relating what he said to what i felt a long time ago.”
yoongi opens and closes his mouth, but before he does, you’re lifting your head up to interrupt him
god he’s aLSO crying
“use the sleeves to wipe your snot, dumbo. it’s not even that expensive!!” you chuckle when you urge him to do so, making him both frustrated and sheepish because his goddamn snot interrupted you
you lean on his shoulder and stay that way, this time being a rare occurrence in which you cling to him like a koala
“and i know that he shouldn’t have said those things to me either way. i do.”
yoongi nods at that, capturing his point fully
he insists on patting you on the forehead, drawing circles and definitely not a penis as he drawls his words
“he can’t take back what he said, y/n.”
“but that doesn’t mean he can’t redeem himself, yoongs.”
you offer him a timid smile, turning into a bigger one when you know just the right approach to satiate him enough
“jungkook taking accountability is the bare minimum, though,” you chuckle when he nods eagerly to the point he gives himself whiplash, “which is why i’m being smart and haven’t fully forgave him yet.”
…..
yoongi sighs when the two of you spend the pause in silence, speaking in all honesty
“i don’t know if i can forgive the little shit.”
“you don’t need to.”
you say just as genuine, a reassuring smile on his face to ease the focused knot on his brows
“you don’t owe it to me, yoongs. i know what you’re thinking.”
you really do
he tends to look at you in high regard even when you tell him that he shouldn’t, and it leads to him with the mindset that he really should appease his best friend at all times
“i eventually will,” he admits quietly. “just not now.”
“that’s okay too.”
it was supposed to be another bout of silence but yoongi actually breaks this time, blurting out words once he felt that the coast was clear
he just needs to get this off his chest before this heart-to-heart moment dwindles
“i don’t want to sound weird, but you’re like, my platonic girlfriend, y’know? my soulmate in a very platonic way, but no one says either that your soulmate has to be in a romantic sense and-…”
you exclaim in relief, your eyes rolling to the back of your head when you jolt him by the shoulders
“god, finally. i’ve always wanted to tell you that i feel the same. you’re my soulmate, i’m pretty sure. my very, very platonic boyfriend i live with.”
yoongi sighs, stares, then fiNALLY heartily laughs in relief
everything’s out of the way :)
“we’re good. we always will be.”
you’re about to get up to fulfill yoongi’s suggestion earlier, being cut short when he gently pulls you by your forearm when you stood
“i’ll always be on your team — you know that right?”
yoongi means it with his whole heart, just one more reminder he wants you to reaffirm in your mind for the night
“i’ll always be on yours too, yoongs.”

Waves || Draco Malfoy
Requested: No

Pairing: Draco Malfoy x fem!reader

Warnings: none really, just so much fluff I think my heart almost exploded

Summary: Draco continuously finds himself breathless at the amount of love he holds for you because his love for you comes in waves.
WORDS : 1480
~
“Y/N, do we have to do this?” Draco groans as you drag him through his mother’s garden.

“Yes, I promised your mother that I’d check on her garden everyday while they’re gone.”
“I don’t think she took you seriously when you said that.”
“Seriously or not, I’m doing it.” You say sternly as you stop in front of the daisies to water them- spritzing them with water carefully and attentively to ensure that no one flower gets more love than the other.
He watches you in silence and admiration- adoring how considerate you are with one of his mother’s most prized possessions- and an immense surge of love for you overcomes him without warning. The sun makes your eyes twinkle gently and your yellow dress just makes you look positively radiant. He gulps and sits down on a nearby bench to ground himself- trying to resist the urge to beg you to marry him on the spot- but you mistake his disorientation for frustration and turn to him with a sigh.
“If you really hate this so much then you can return to the Manor, I’ll be back in a few minutes.”
He almost laughs at how wrongly you’ve interpreted the situation and smiles up at you brightly, “There’s nowhere else I’d rather be right now.”
“Are you being sarcastic?” You furrow your eyebrows at him- confused at how quickly his demeanor has changed- and he shakes his head softly in response.
“No, I want to be right here with you.”
“Too bad.” You turn away from him with a mischievous grin and walk further away as you approach the roses.
“Why?” He furrows his eyebrows.
“I was already used to the idea of you being gone.” You look behind you and catch his gaze with a smirk, “Your voice is a bit annoying after some time.”
Draco leaps out of his seat immediately and you yelp and drop the water as you start to run away from him. Your giggles fill his ears as he trails a few paces behind you- following you as you run into the meadow that’s behind the Malfoy Manor- and he has to struggle to focus on his steps instead of the rapid beating of his heart at the beautiful sound.
“I’m sorry!” You cry out as you start to run down the declining meadow and toward the river that runs at the bottom.
“Too bad!” He shouts back- using your own words against you- and you can’t help but laugh out as you reach the bottom and turn behind you to look up at him.
“Come on, you know you want to forgive me.” You pout up at him- squinting your eyes at the sun in your eyes- as he stands at the top of the little hill and stares down at you.
His breath hitches in his throat at the sight of you standing there. Your hair tied up and exposing your collarbone to the sun’s rays, your bright smile shining up at him, your frame melting into the nature that surrounds you-from the tall weeds of unkept grass to the tiny purple flowers that are sprouting from the ground. It’s all too much for him and he has to sit down on the ground quickly before his knees buckle from under him.
Alarm consumes you and you quickly run back up the hill to find out what’s wrong with him. “Dra-“
“Marry me.” He blurts out before you can even finish asking him what’s wrong and your eyes widen in shock.
“What?” You ask with a laugh and he takes a deep breath before repeating himself.
“Marry me.” It’s not a question, nor is it a demand, it’s more of a desperate plea and you can tell by his tone that his throat is dry- almost if the words have been sitting on the tip of his tongue and running back down into his lungs for so long that they’ve rubbed his throat raw.
“Where’s this coming from?” You ask with a furrow of your eyebrows as you plop yourself down next to him.
Your knees bump against his and he sucks in a large amount of air at the contact. It’s such a simple movement but it has all the hairs on the end of his neck standing up like he’s a tiny schoolboy- he may as well be when you’re around… You touch him and it makes him immensely giddy- as if you haven’t touched each other a million times before, as if you haven’t touched each other more intimately before. Not that it’s ever any better when you two are tangled in between the sheets together- a mixture of love and limbs tied together so perfectly that it always makes him feel as though you two were made for each other.
“I’ve been wanting to ask you for months. I’ve tried to keep it in but nowadays my love for you is always overflowing and the words are just banging against my head all the time.” He answers you honestly- not afraid to pour his heart out anymore after months of keeping it in.
“We’re just 16, we still have school an-“
“I know… I know…” He cuts you off and looks down in embarrassment- suddenly realising how ridiculous it was of him to bombard you with such a request. “It was stupid of me to bring it up, I’m sorry.”
You drop a few fingers below his chin and bring his face back up to look into your eyes and smile, “I never said I wouldn’t marry you.”
“Y/N-“
“I love you so much, why wouldn’t I marry you?” You pull him toward you and crash your lips together. He releases a happy sigh and melts into you- bringing his own hands up to cup your face.
Kissing you is like fire to him- it burns bright and furious and courses through his veins until all he can think or feel is your lips against his own- he’d do it forever if he could. There is nothing he hates more than when you pull away from him and he often finds himself feeling embarrassed at how quickly he jumps to chase after your lips- like you’re water and he can’t live without you. And maybe that’s the fact of the matter, he cannot live without you. Because he could have everything- money, good grades, house elves at his beg and call- but it would mean nothing if your laugh wasn’t the sound filling his ears every single day, if your touch wasn’t the one burning itself into his skin every single night.
“I love you.” He breathes out against your lips- not stopping too long to speak and immediately resuming the kiss.
Sometimes he forgets, just how much he loves you, but you always do something that reminds him before he can stray too far away from his adoration for you. In simple terms, his love for you comes in waves- filling him up all at once, repeatedly, and at a force so harsh that it almost always knocks the air out of his lungs. It’s when you read to him before you fall asleep, when you hold his hand on the way to breakfast, when you insist on hyping him up before Quidditch games, when you tell him terrible jokes that he can’t resist laughing at just because you tell them, when you make continuous effort with his friends and family, it’s every single thing you do.
“I love you.” He breathes out again as another wave encapsulates him. His love for you fills him up in every way possible, like it’s climbing up his lungs until they’re full and he can no longer breathe. His love for you is intoxicating, suffocating really, but it’s so exquisite that he wouldn’t want to have it any other way. What good is oxygen when all he wants to breathe in is the scent of you forever?
“I love you.” He whispers one last time as you both pull away and rest your foreheads against each other- eyes locking and breathless pants meeting inbetween you both.
“After school,” You start after a few minutes of regaining your breath, “After we graduate let’s get married, right here in this meadow.”
“Y/N, I would marry you in an abandoned basement, all I care about is that we’re both there.”
Your heart wrenches at his words and you pull him for another short kiss- much to his dismay- before telling him again, “I love you so much.”
And there it is again, a wave of love for you that’s so strong it makes him close his eyes and take a moment to breathe. The waves are relentless- they’re every single moment he gets to spend with you and he can never get enough of them. You’re intoxicating and every single time he thinks that he’s felt all the love he could possibly feel for you, another wave crashes against him.
<~>
I simp so hard for this man. Please leave me requests because I need something to keep me occupied while I wait for universities to get back to meeeeee.
I’m probably going to write something for one of the Weasley’s soon because argh I love them all and would not hesitate to let any of them rail me-
anyway that’s all...

Jiang Cheng is still panting heavily when he goes to check if they really did kill the yao, but when he turns slightly to make a joke at Nie Mingjue, his husband is nowhere to be seen.
“Mingjue?” Jiang Cheng yells out and he doesn’t want to admit it, but fear grips his heart.
The last moments of the fight were pretty hectic and rough; what if something happened to Nie Mingjue and Jiang Cheng didn’t notice it?
“Mingjue?” Jiang Cheng yells again, louder this time, when no answer comes and he goes back to where he thinks he saw Nie Mingjue last.
“Shush, Wanyin,” Nie Mingjue scolds him out of the blue and Jiang Cheng follows his voice into one of the many destroyed houses around the place.
The did not lose the whole village to the yao; these are long abandoned houses they simply found the yao at and so Jiang Cheng frowns.
“What’s going on?” he asks, carefully stepping into one of the destroyed houses but he comes to an abrupt stop when he sees what Nie Mingjue is holding.
“Is that a baby?” Jiang Cheng breathes out and is at Nie Mingjue’s side a moment later.
“Yes,” Nie Mingjue says, even though it’s pretty obvious that the squirming and clearly upset bundle in his arms is a human baby.
“What happened?” Jiang Cheng demands to know and steps closer to check the baby over.
“I don’t know. She made a sound and when I came in here, I found her all naked on the ground, not even crying. I hope she’s okay.”
Now that Nie Mingjue said it Jiang Cheng realizes that he cut his own robes to dress her, and the act just makes him love Nie Mingjue more.
“Let me see her,” Jiang Cheng says, holding his hands out expectantly and when Nie Mingjue drops her into his arms he checks her over more thoroughly.
There are no visible wounds on her and even though she seems a little bit too cold, she’s quickly warming up, now that she can leech off Jiang Cheng’s and Nie Mingjue’s body heat.
“She seems fine to me,” Jiang Cheng decides. “Maybe a little bit hungry, but she doesn’t seem injured.”
“Thank the gods,” Nie Mingjue breathes out and gently strakes his finger over her cheek. “I was worried because she wouldnt cry. I still remember how Jin Ling was, it seemed strange for her not to make a sound.”
Jiang Cheng decides not to take offense on Jin Ling’s behalf, because he was one loud baby and instead says “Babies are much more sensitive than we give them credit for. If her parents were hiding from the yao, it’s likely she somehow picked up on the fact that she needs to be quiet.”
“She’s barely older than six month,” Nie Mingjue says with a frown and Jiang Cheng presses her protectively to his chest.
“And maybe she’s just especially bright,” he snaps back and then walks out of the house. “Come on, we still have to let the healers check her over, maybe we missed something,” he calls over his shoulder when Nie Mingjue doesn’t follow him immediately.
“Alright, alright. But Wanyin—no getting attached. We’re not keeping her,” he says and Jiang Cheng rolls his eyes.
“Of course we’re not keeping her. I don’t want any more kids, Jin Ling totally was enough for me,” he cheekily says, though immediately the doubt cuts deep again.
Jin Ling is only six, but the kid already has an attitude and he has his nose high up in the sky and Jiang Cheng is afraid that he fucked him over for good. He is not fit to raise any kid, least of all his sister’s child, and absolutely not the sweet baby in his arms.
“As long as you remember,” Nie Mingjue says and then keeps a hand under the babies bum the whole time they walk.
As if Jiang Cheng would ever let anything this precious drop.
~*~*~
“How is our baobei doing?” Nie Mingjue asks with a huge smile as he walks into the infirmary.
They are keeping her there for a lack of better accommodations, though Jiang Cheng is getting out all of Jin Ling’s old stuff again. Soon enough she’ll be able to sleep with them in their bedroom.
“She is perfectly alright,” Jiang Cheng gives back and looks up from where he’s sitting on the floor, tickling her tummy and watching her squirming around and squealing with laughter.
“And how is my most amazing husband doing?” Nie Mingjue asks as he drops a kiss to Jiang Cheng’s head and then blows raspberries onto the babies tummy.
“I am doing very well, too, thank you for asking,” Jiang Cheng seriously gives back and then erupts into laughter when Nie Mingjue gives him a disgruntled look at that.
It makes the baby clap her hands together and kick her tiny, tiny feet in the air and Jiang Cheng simply melts at the sight.
“And news of her parents?” he asks, mostly to distract himself from the urge of squeezing her to death and Nie Mingjue shakes his head as he sits down next to Jiang Cheng and picks her up.
“No. There were reports of a family running from the yao, but no one knew them and no one seems to know where the parents ran off to. I left a message in the house we found her in, in case they come back, but I don’t think it’s looking promising. It’s been a week already.”
“Yeah,” Jiang Cheng thoughtfully says and offers up one of his fingers for her to hold on to. “What a shame.”
“Yeah,” Nie Mingjue agrees and then they fall silent.
Well, at least until their little baobei starts to scream bloody murder because she’s hungry.
~*~*~
They are laying in bed, Jiang Cheng tracing senseless shapes into Nie Mingjue’s chest when he speaks up.
“We’re not keeping her, right?” Jiang Cheng asks and Nie Mingjue tenses.
“Wanyin, I thought we were agreeing on this,” he cautiously says and Jiang Cheng props himself up to look at him.
“We are. I am not fit to be a father; I was barely able to be an uncle to Jin Ling and raising him—I did so much wrong. I’m too much of my mother and not enough of my father and I’m just—”
“Well, from what you told me about your parents and from what I have seen with Jin Ling you are exactly the right mix of them. Just from the top of my head I can come up with at least seven instances where you held or carried Jin Ling, so I’d say you are perfectly good.”
“I messed up so much with him,” Jiang Cheng mutters. “The real damage will only show when he’s older, just you wait.”
“Well, pardon me, but your parents were shit and you turned out alright if I dare say so,” Nie Mingjue tells him and pulls him into a kiss. “And I am not actually keen on being a dad, either. I was pouring so much into raising Huaisang when our father died and I don’t know if I can raise anyone without the explicit expectation of them having to be a Sect Heir.”
Nie Mingjue sighs and Jiang Cheng snuggles closer to him.
“Look at how I messed up with him. I put so much pressure onto him all the time because I feared I would die young and now he avoids any kind of responsibility as if his life depends on it. I already fucked up once. I’m not going to do it again.”
“You didn’t fuck up,” Jiang Cheng protests. “If anything you spoilt him too much. You were too lenient. It’s not like he ever cowers when you yell at him, right? He’s clearly not afraid of you or the consequences you keep threatening him with, because he damn well knows you’d never follow through.”
“Is that right?” Nie Mingjue asks, raising one eyebrow at Jiang Cheng. “Just like Jin Ling laughs at you whenever you threaten to break his legs?”
“That’s different,” Jiang Cheng huffs.
“I don’t think it is,” Nie Mingjue argues and then rolls them over onto the side so they can sleep.
“No more kids,” he mutters, burying his face in Jiang Cheng’s hair and Jiang Cheng agrees.
No more kids for them.
~*~*~
It’s been two months by now since they found little Baobei in the abandoned house and they have formed a routine around her.
The healers complained after two weeks of her being in the infirmary that she can’t stay there anymore so Jiang Cheng and Nie Mingjue took her to their own bedroom, letting her sleep right next to their bed, so they could keep an eye on her.
“Good morning, little baobei,” Jiang Cheng says when she grumbles herself awake and Nie Mingjue laughs at the sight.
“She’s just like you,” he jokes and Jiang Cheng can’t even manage a proper frown over her head.
“Shut up, she is not,” he denies and Nie Mingjue has not even the decency to argue with him about this.
“Let’s go find Jiang Zedong and hear how the search for parents for her is going,” Jiang Cheng mutters, a little bit miffed that Nie Mingjue wouldn’t indulge him in a little argument, but when Nie Mingjue comes over to pepper first Baobei with kisses and then Jiang Cheng, he decides it’s forgotten.
When they ask Jiang Zedong about the issue he stares at them like they lost their minds.
“What do you mean, possible parents for her?”
“What do you mean, what do we mean?” Jiang Cheng bites back, though he’s aware that the look is a little bit ruined with Baobei in his arms. “You’re supposed to look for possible parents for her, what’s going on?”
“You mean for other people to take her in?”
“Other people? Who else would take her in?” Nie Mingjue asks as well, and when Baobei starts to sniffle, he takes her right out of Jiang Cheng’s arms.
It turns out that Baobei is a very sensitive baby, and she picks up on moods incredibly well. They haven’t found much that can sooth her, but resting against Nie Mingjue’s chest always seems to do the trick.
Jiang Cheng can relate. It’s a very good chest to lean on.
“You?” Jiang Zedong shoots back and Jiang Cheng quickly reaches out when Nie Mingjue’s arms go slack.
He manages to secure Baobei until Nie Mingjue remembers himself and hugs her close again.
“We’re not looking to adopt,” Nie Mingjue tells him, and Jiang Zedong frowns in confusion.
“But didn’t you already? I mean, she sleeps with you and you modelled your whole day around her. You come running when she cries or makes any kind of sound and no offense, but you don’t even allow the healers to hold her for her check-ups. I am actually afraid of what you’ll do if I tell you that we did find someone to adopt. Honestly, I just thought you would keep her.”
Jiang Cheng blinks at Nie Mingjue who in turn blinks at him.
“We didn’t want to adopt,” Jiang Cheng eventually says and Nie Mingjue nods.
“Well, to me—and everyone else—it looks like you already did. Now if you excuse me, I have real problems to solve here,” he then tells them and simply marches off.
Jiang Cheng wonders what demon was possessing him when he appointed Jiang Zedong his second in command, but when Baobei gurgles he forgets that thought.
“We weren’t looking to adopt,” Nie Mingjue says and bounces Baobei in a soothing manner.
“No, we weren’t.”
“Maybe—maybe she adopted us?” Nie Mingjue tries and Jiang Cheng sighs, before he leans into Nie Mingjue’s side.
“My soul, maybe it’s time we face the truth,” he gravely says, and surprisingly enough he’s not terrified out of his mind. “We’re done for. We are her parents.”
There’s a moment of silence from Nie Mingjue before he shrugs.
“Could be worse, I guess,” he says and lifts Baobei up high in the air.
Jiang Cheng fights the urge to snag her out of his hands, because what if he lets her fall, but by then Nie Mingjue already has her safely against his chest again.
“Just promise me, Wanyin: if I put too much pressure on her, if I demand too much of her, you’ll have to smack me over the head.”
“I’ll smack you over the head whenever I please,” Jiang Cheng cheerfully tells him but then he nods. “Of course I promise. And—the same goes for you: if I snap at her like my mother did or if I don’t give her the affection she deserves, you’ll have to smack some sense into me.”
“I promise, my heart, but you already did a good job with Jin Ling.”
Jiang Cheng doesn’t comment on that, because the fear that he fucked his nephew up sits deep, but when Baobei babbles happily at him, he pushes those thoughts away.
“Oh shit,” Jiang Cheng suddenly says, and looks with big eyes at Nie Mingjue. “We have to come up with a real name for her!”
“Oh fuck,” Nie Mingjue wholeheartedly agrees and then they dissolve into laughter because if that is their biggest worry right now, then maybe they’ll be alright.

Confession time
I don't know if anyone would really read this, but I just want to take this out of my chest. But if you are not jikook supporter then please please don't read further.
This blog initially was supposed to be a jikook blog. I wanted to talk about only jikook and wanted to share my perspective. I really really wanted to write about jikook somewhere. But I was hesitant because neither I know them personally nor do they know my existence. So I didn't want to cross my limit. Aaaggghh.....after yesterday's VMinKook Vlive, I had this strange urge to pour my heart out here.
Ok. Like I have always said I'm a huge admirer of Jimin. I admire this guy a lot. And you being a Jimin fan and not noticing his unconditional love and attention towards BTS maknae is like NOT TODAY. We all know, Jimin cares, supports and loves all his members but when it comes to Jungkook, it's just a level-up and he is very vocal about it since the debut days. And yes, everyone has soft corner for the maknae but what Jimin has got for Jungkook is so so so consistent and persistent.
I know few people say Jimin is clingy, he's a natural flirt, he's Libra, he's king of fanservice, etc etc when it comes to Jikook interactions. I don't really think Jimin is flirt and I don't think whatever he does with Jungkook is mere fanservice. I firmly believe, their bond and relationship is beyond all this.
Here in this post, I'm not going to speak about Jungkook at all. All I want to speak is about Jimin. I don't know if they are dating or not and I seriously don't want to bring up that topic. But I think Jimin really really loves Jungkook the most. Why? Because it's very obvious.
That boy, wake him up in the midnight and ask him anything, literally anything, he'll still manage to bring Jungkook's name. Just imagine, how much close of relationship he shares with Jungkook that he manages to relate everything with him. I sometimes feel, he wants everyone to know how much time they both spend with each other.
Coming to yesterday's vlive which made me think a lot of things.
Call me delulu, call me insane, call me crazy woman, I don't give shit but this is what I feel.
Jimin went to V's room because he knew his soulmate would be feeling lonely. And we all know, V had asked for Jungkook. Well I don't really read too much into this because it would eventually become vminkook live even if V had asked for Jimin instead Jungkook based on the past events. (If you know, you know *wink*)
The series of events made me think that Jimin desperately wants to say something to us, ARMY, shippers. Else why would he even say those things in the name of TMI?? Like seriously, Jimin, you could have just said, you have been working out everyday since the day you came to America, why to drag Jungkook in that TMI. But no, he just wanted to say everyone including jikookers, taekookers, and other shippers that he has been working out with JUNGKOOK. And the next TMI that he said out of no where which was not even necessary because he had already answered for his TMI saying he had no jetlag then why tell V and everyone that Jungkook checks on him 3 times a day, comes to his room out of no where. Jungkook crashing others room is not a new thing because he has done it many times and his hyungs have complained about it given the context. But yesterday it was not really necessary, still he had this urge to share with everyone. He also wanted people to know that they shared chicken together after concert.
Jimin and Jungkook are two people yet they seem like one whole unit.
I don't know if I was reading too much or what but when V said "I heard Jungkook-shi that you are working on Christmas song", (don't know if it was true or not) to which Jungkook said, "yes, but how did you know about that?", And Jimin was like why am I the last person to know?? That was hilarious and he wasn't acting or going with flow. That seemed genuine. Even when, V said jungkook and he are working on a Christmas song, he was like I don't know what are these people talking about and that look he gave to jungkook was funny and cute 😂. For a matter of fact, I know they maybe not working on anything together, if that was so then they would have not revealed that just like that.
I just don't know anymore, everytime I try to think, yes this is it, there is nothing more than friendship between these two, they come up with something which makes me go like what the hell??
Jungkook is definitely Jimin's home. If not couple, atleast they are each other diaries, you know that one person/friend, we would want to share everything literally every minute thing at the end of the day. Jimin is way tooooo much comfortable with Jungkook and I can sense. Hell with haters because I don't care.
Thanks for reading💜
