Shinjiham is cute when it’s romantic but tbh I think i vastly prefer the idea of them being best friends instead. Like, neither of them really saw it coming and weren’t really looking to get another best friend (Shinji has Akihiko, Kotone has Junpei and Yukari respectively) but it happens anyway. Kotone takes a liking to Shinji much faster than she does anyone else and I’d say a big reason is just the fact that he’s so reserved that it allows Kotone to do most of the talking while he just listens and they love this arrangement cuz Kotone doesn’t get to talk about her own interests very much. Though I think some of her needs to talk to Shinji stems from this insecurity that he isn’t happy in the group and she has this people pleasing problem and wants everyone to be happy so she makes a much bigger effort to talk to Shinji. And it’s very unfortunate because Shinji intentionally acts cold and distant because he doesn’t want to form any attachments because he wants to die soon, but aaaaaaaagh dammit this girl just keeps talking to him and being sweet and encouraging him to engage in his interests and share them with the others and he just can’t seem to say no when she’s got those damn puppy eyes. And Kotone is just able to get him out of his shell by being persistent but not in an overwhelming way, she’s very cheerful and supportive of him. And Shinji is able to offer her support by encouraging her to talk about herself and by making sure she’s taking care of herself. They just click really well and make such a positive dent in each other’s lives and it’s all about basic acts of kindness going a long way you know?

WIP Wednesday

I actually just wrote this and I don't know if it actually will be part of The little things eventually or just stay a standalone that gets shoved into my pocket soulmates-series as a small unrelated one-shot :D

But the thought of polyamorous pocket soulmates didn't let me go, so. Have a little hint of pocket soulmates/lysals Stetopher xD

It was the sound of babbling voices that woke Stiles from his slumber way too early. He grumbled, rubbed his eyes and glanced towards the sleek wooden side table Peter owned. After their run in with the hunters last night, his soulmate had insisted on taking him here to satisfy his frayed wolfy instincts and well, Stiles had been way too curious to say no. So he had told his dad where he would be and listened to his dad’s litany of threats against Peter if the guy would even touch him in the wrong places - not that Stiles was ready to go there just yet - and then he had spent the night in one of the most comfortable beds he’d ever slept in. Just to be woken up by their three lysals. Wait. Stiles shot up and stared at the three little guys running and… playing tag? on the side table. Of course he immediately recognized Petey and Spark - which also meant that Peter was still somewhere close in the apartment - and then there was that third little guy who looked uncannily like… “It’s Christopher.” Stiles flinched and looked to the door where Peter had appeared, already dressed and looking like he was ready to go somewhere. He also looked as if he’d bitten into a lemon, but, well. Stiles could kinda relate? “I’m going to get us breakfast. Then we can talk. If you want to get up, coffee’s in the kitchen, towels are in the bathroom and your clothes from yesterday are in the dryer. Make yourself at home, sweetheart.” For a moment Peter’s face morphed into a smile just for Stiles, then he looked back to the lysals and sighed. “Come on you two, I want to get going,” he said and left the room without waiting for Spark and the Chris-lysal who suddenly… plopped and split into two identical looking versions of himself, one following Peter with Spark and one staying on the side table with Petey. Stiles stared after Spark and the Chris-lysal, still stunned into silence. “…What the fuck??”

5 headcanons for a miritama Time Traveler's Wife AU, where mirio's Permeation Quirk occasionally malfunctions with space-time?

oh my god. killing me shih. kittypryde-ify permeation but make it even angstier. only the best as the winner of the mha ship tournament deserves.

1- The reason Tamaki was staring so much at Mirio when he moved into his primary school was because he had first met Mirio yesterday- a seventeen year old Mirio, in a hero costume, with a bright smile that got even warmer when he saw him. He nods in agreement when current- Mirio says he wants to be a hero one day, because of course he will, and is still nodding when Mirio asks if he's going to be a hero too.

2- Mirio can't control when he is thrown around in his own timeline, and just like permeating through the first three dimensions, it leaves him without anything but his body- so once he reaches UA and gets support tech, he tries keeps smaller spares on him in case he gets thrown backwards and can pass them off to younger versions of himself without their own access to it. His quirk is also registered and flagged so that if he ever gets thrown into another time, he can go to any hero agency, tell them his name, and get watched until he's thrown around in time agin. Its not safe at all, but it is safer than without any preparations.

Tamaki still worries.

3- The longer they know each other, the closer they get- Mirio sort of gets an inborn sense of direction for where Tamaki is whenever he's thrown through time, even if he is sometimes too far to reach him before leaving again, and Tamaki can always feel when Mirio slips out of the present- and back into it.

4- Since its all time themed, i gotta add in Eri- she's Mirio's little sister here, and her power is all about one direction in time- backwards. She can somewhat control it, like Mirio can control standard permations, but sometimes she has bursts of power outside of it anyway. It's rather scary- but hers and Mirio's powers don't affect each other's, so that's going for them at least.

5- Sir Nighteye can't activate foresight on Mirio, he just gets locked seeing the present for Mirio until he stops his own quirk. Honestly, he's a lot less sure of Mirio as an OfA candidate as he was initially before he learned of the time jumping, but because of the nature of the quirk he feels like he just has to help. (the fact that Mirio cant seem to change his own time stream/the changes he made already happened and that boosts Sir's confidence that the future is unchanging might also be a part of this.)

Getting a nasty flu and Spring cleanings delayed me a lot in the development plus other priorities that include jobsearching (being everything but easy).
