Self aware! Mammon and reader aaaaa!! 🩷🌟

(Yes, this is my story. My other account, wishesforyou is shadowbanned because of a glitch and Puff0o0 was my other account that that deleted)

You downloaded Obey Me to simply fill your boredom and simp for hot guys, who could blame you?

Everything went well and was great until your game started constantly glitching :(

☆ Realizing he was in a video game was rough, but he was able to deal with it knowing that his brothers were also aware so he wasn't going through it alone.

☆ He acts like he hates them but he genuinely does need them

☆ Mammon was obsessed the moment he saw your face from behind the screen, accidentally slipping up and turning bright red which led to lucifer glaring at him

(Mammon quickly composed himself after that)

☆ You laughed at the game, giggling at the brother's banter and he swore he was falling deeper and deeper in love with you. He had just met you, how could you have so much power over him!?

☆ But then you clicked off, your face leaving immediately and leaving him dumbfounded. How could he get you back on the game?

☆ But then he realized that his brothers were just as obsessed with you as he was, making him hatch up a plan to get you back on so he could see you more often

☆ Ads were his best bet, although they were absolutely horrible and mainly filled with either him or asmo and sometimes Levi if he managed to sneak off with the screen they were using to supply those ads

☆ Yet somehow it wrapped you right back into the game, which is exactly what they wanted

☆ Then your game started glitching horribly.

☆ It was like you couldn't even click off dialouge without your game crashing! Absolutely irritating for you and even made you try to delete the app until you found out you couldn't

☆ But after you tried to delete it, it seemed to fix itself, although you were creeped out and decided to take a break from it

☆ Once you got back finally, you had so many free gifts and outfits and even unlimited AP? you thought it must be from that welcome back gift or maybe people were complaining about having to use AP to play the game

☆ You had a lot of messages and found out that you could send the boys a custom message and they would respond! You assumed it to be like an ai and thought nothing of it, enjoying the realistic conversations you could have

☆ Then it seemed to get more advanced, even letting you call them and speak into the phone

☆ But then you found out no one else had this feature yet? You must have gotten early access

☆ Mammon was completely dumbfounded by how much he's gotten away with and Lucifer was too

☆ Mammon was very happy you hadn't left yet and was doing everything in his power that he could to make you stay, making sure you got daily gifts, giving you free Grimm, giving you 5 star cards that you want, anything and everything for you 🌟🩷

☆ Just as long as you stayed

Self Aware AU but Obey me. So i was thinking of deleting my OM account and starting anew (both Nightbringer and Original), and what if even if you delete your account and game data, they still remember?

Self Aware! Obey Me, when you open up the game again after remaking an account, everything is all normal except the opening scene is just

"Why did you leave us?"

"Were you trying to get rid of us?"

You exit the game and reenter, but you just get greeted by

"That didn't work as you'd think?"

Now the game prevents you from exiting. All the dialogue options are left blank. You try to skip through it, staying quiet.

"What? Cat got'ya tongue? Talk to us, Human!"

"How am i supposed to speak if there's nothing there?"

You mutter

"That's because we want to hear it from you."

They reply.

(I also love self aware au. I really want to expand on it but I struggle with coming up with ideas and making them look good. Anyway, I hope you enjoy) TW: mentions of reader reading smut in lucifers part

Lucifer is extremely smug about you reading fics about him. He takes notes on your tastes for when he finally has his hands on you, so he can be perfect for you. If you read smut of him, he will be extremely flustered though, as the thought of you wanting him like that is overwhelming but he’s very happy at it.

mammon is will brag to his brothers about it, seeming confident but we all know he’s giggling and kicking his feet in private. He likes to read through them, but sometimes ends up lost in the plot and wanting to know what happens next or criticising authors for making him out of character.

leviathan is another who is very flustered that you want him like that. That you don’t think he’s a disgusting yucky otaku. That you want to be his. He won’t brag to the brothers that you read about him, he just feels insanely flattered and it definitely makes his delusions worse

asmodeus acts unsurprised by this but he is flustered. He will read through to work out what you like but he won’t change himself for you. He likes fantasising about it happening and getting all blushy from thinking about it. He also frequently likes the way authors talk about him and it pumps up his ego

satan is a fanfic reader already, so he gets it. He’s ecstatic that you like him a lot, and his romantic tendencies that are written. However he does not like the frequent jabs in fanfiction to the way he dresses. He thinks it’s adorable that you read about him and you being together. He thinks it’s only a matter of time before that happens now…

Beelzebub thinks it’s slightly strange, but he doesn’t not like it. He doesn’t understand why people are writing these either, like do they have a life? Nevertheless, he will read through them and feel butterflies in his stomach whilst thinking of you together, but he might mistake it for feeling hungry

belphegor finds it rather funny. At first that is. He will be sort of judging you for being so shameless liking all of these things. Eventually he’ll begin to read them more seriously, thinking about what would happen in reality in these scenarios. These ‘yandere’ fics you read, he wonders if you’d like them in real life. I guess there’s one way to find out…

diavolo finds it fascinating. And very cute. The idea that you want to read about him and you in a romantic way makes him feel all mushy and romantic. He just wants to hold you and he finds it nice to know that you feel the same way about him.

barbatos has looked through, and he can appreciate that some of the work is extremely well written and he can appreciate your tastes and be perfect for when he first meets you. He will make mental notes on all of these things you seem to love. He finds some of the more… questionable stuff relatable which is quite concerning.

TWST x OM! self-sware AUs where you end up in possession of a cursed phone you found at a pawn shop that looked in really good condition, but any game you get on it comes to life.

You're not really a huge gamer, especially due to having such a busy personal life, so you only got two games that you thought would be fun for the moments your social battery was down but you still craved an adventure or excitement. You take your friend's advice and get two different games: Twisted Wonderland and Obey Me! Shall We Date?

Things start off nice and simple, and after a while daily login rewards start to get better and better for both games, even if it goes unnoticed your friends don't get anything nearly as good as you have despite having played longer.

You begin to figure the games are just generous with certain things, after getting a rather impressive amount of gifts after certain events. Had it not been for one minor detail, you wouldn't have ever noticed anything at all off about the games.

The way your friends complain about certain in-game storylines or characters.

What do you mean that Belphegor's story after lesson 16 needed more growth? That it felt rushed into forgiveness? Was 7 lessons of tension resulting into a final thought out apology not at all cared about?

And Grim? What about Grim? Why are your friends so frustrated that he's supposedly so annoying at times? Did the several late night conversations throughout the books slowly revealing his abandonment issues and need to feel important to not be abandoned mean nothing to them?

And what's this about characters not having a live chatting feature? Or onto having 2 or 3 options for dialogue all leading to the same outcome?

You are surprised when all the characters of the game appear on the screen together and greet you sweetly.

“Welcome, master.” A voice that doesn’t resemble any of theirs speaks, “May I know who your favourite is so that he can greet you today?”

It may seem difficult to choose only one but when the voice insists that you must decide, you finally come to a conclusion and name one of them.

LEVIATHAN

“W-W-What do you m-m-mean that I am your favourite? You are kidding, right?!”

His furiously blushing face is hidden behind the back of his hand as he struggles to regain his nonexistent composure. Seeing him that way calms your heart so you inch closer to your screen and poke his cheek.

“Aww, Leviachan doesn’t believe his normie best friend? That’s sad! The Lord of Shadow would definitely believe his Henry!”

“W’aaaaahhhh. Leviathan takes 9000 damage-! I-I-It’s cheating to bring TSL into this! You know I’ll just s-swoon over you even more than I usually do! My heart isn’t ready for that. A-A-Also, I see you as more than my best friend. You’ve unlocked a new level of Henry rankings in my heart-!”

When he visibly jumps back after that, you raise an eyebrow and focus on him. That’s surely new.

“D-D-Don’t look at me with that cute look! Ugh, anime eyes could never compare! Leviathan will take leave for all of eternity. Thank you very much!!”

With that, he disappears from the screen in one swift movement.

You blink. Floating icons and no character to welcome you. Interesting.

“What the… That has never happened before. Hmm… Maybe I should uninstall the app.”

Your plan is to install it back at once but the characters fear that you’ll vanish on them so they take matters into their own hands. The moment you utter the forbidden word (‘uninstall’), Leviathan is thrown back into view from the corner of the screen.

“Aaaaaahhhh-! Be gentle with my inactive, hermit body, won’t you?! And you all are supposed to be my brothers?!?! You guys make me want to sleep with a knife and the spell to summon Lotan for safety purposes!! I’ll never trust you guys with my game codes!”

The last bit makes you laugh out loud. Your gaze meets his and he gulps while playing with the fabric of his clothes nervously. Even though you don’t understand the situation, you’re enjoying watching it unfold.

You say teasingly, “Would you trust me with your precious game codes, Leviachan~”

He never knew he needed to hear that until this moment. Forming fists with his hands, he holds his head high and yells, “Of course I will, Henry! I WILL TRUST YOU WITH MY GAME CODES A-AND MY F-F-FIGURINES TOO-! Just don't ask for it...”

SATAN

It warms his heart and entire being to know that you chose him.

With an alert look in his eyes that you have never seen before, he smiles and greets you with grace.

“Welcome [Name]. I thought I needed to play pranks to get your attention but I've been proven wrong. It makes me happy to see you here today. How have you been lately...? Do you want to talk about it?”

The words do not reveal that he's aware of you so it evades your notice that it’s the first time you’re hearing that variation of dialogue. Why should he play all his cards from the very beginning? He wants to observe and understand why you chose him before revealing his secrets.

His lines are a mixture of humor and concern so you sigh and answer sheepishly. “I’ve not been feeling the best lately. Everything feels overwhelming so I need a break mentally. My emotions are all over the place… At least I can play Obey Me! to blow off some steam.”

Satan searches your face before he speaks with a slight tremble in his voice:

“Are you allergic to cats?”

Depending on your answer, he may suggest you to go and boop the nose of a furry companion to feel better. Despite his love for cats, he doesn't want you to be in the presence of one if it'll harm you. You're the most important person to him so your comfort is his priority.

When you’re busy with your work, he sometimes opens the web browser on your device and searches for novels that are popular in your world. Some tales have really stuck with him. In every story, he pictures the protagonist to be you and the love interest as him. With that in mind, he’ll narrate to you in a way that you can have the purrfect image too! His soothing voice and polished reading skills are at your service whenever you want it. Close your eyes and get prepared to be transported into a world of adventure and romance with Satan.

He’s yours — heart, body, soul and partnership of furry babies, if you want.

When you stare at him wide eyed, he smiles innocently. “Do you not like my idea? I have other plans too in case this displeases you.”

He’ll remind you daily why you made the correct decision by choosing him as your favourite.

BARBATOS

“Just when I thought I wouldn’t see you again, you appeared…. master. I was about to go back into the kitchen and cut onions to excuse my tears. But there is no need for that anymore.”

The line seems new so you stare at him and chuckle a little. The delivery is made with a straight face but his teasing tone doesn't escape you.

“Barbatos, you can be really cute haha.”

Curiously, he reacts to that by frowning.

“I do not think ‘cute’ fits me.”

The reply sounds like he heard you speak just now so you wear a bewildered expression on your face and stare at him skeptically. Had the writers anticipated your reaction to an extent that they prepared the perfect reply in advance? That's... impossible. Different people will surely react differently to his dialogue.

“Hmmm…. Why are you staring at me like that, master? Did I surprise you excessively? But that must partly be the reason you chose me as your favourite.”

He laughs softly.

If you blink at him, he answers your question with a small smile.

“The ‘cute’ one in this situation is you. If you look all confused, I can’t help but want to be by your side and take care of you while teasing you mercilessly. Needless to say, I know all about your preferences by hearing you speak from the other side of the screen. If you do not object, I would like to ask you some questions.”

From the other side of the screen...

That’s when it hits you.

“Barbatos, you can… see me?”

Sharp eyes focus on you. “Why, yes master. One may say that my eyes have always lingered on you.”

Mixed Self-aware thoughts

A couple of days ago an idea popped into my mind and I think it's thanks to all those SAGAU fanfictions that I've been reading since last month. There was this one in which the plot followed the Impostor!Reader thing but it was not only a Self aware AU of Genshin it included to Honkai. So... *takes a sip of her hot chamomile tea* I decided to doddle up something regarding this but instead of Honkai I decided to put Obey Me.

Speaking in terms of why I think the brothers would defend me in a possible Impostor!Reader, it basically reduces to these facts:

I've been playing Obey Me for two years already (would have been three if I didn't uninstalled it because I was getting impatient but then I downloaded it again because I wanted to play something and I was bored of the last MMORPG game I was playing).

My lvl on Obey Me it's 65 (also I already made pact with all the brothers and currently I'm on lesson 23)

I started playing Genshin this year... well it was last year but I had to uninstall it because of lagging issues (yk typical phone experience problems).

So yes, I highly believe that the Genshin characters would chase after me trying to kill me but then I would be rescued at the last minute by the brothers, alongside with: Lord Diavolo who cannot let his favorite human die, Barbatos because he cannot let his young master go alone, Simeon and Luke because they insisted in participate on their friend's rescue and of course Solomon too because he cannot possibly lose his apprentice.

Now in a fight between The Seven Archons and the brothers, I bet all the money I have that they would win against the archons. Why? Well we are talking about that they are the seven rulers of Devildom, the most powerful demons right after the Lord of Demons himself (Diavolo's dad) and even if it's kind of difficult imaging someone like Ei or Zhongli losing we must remember that they are not the same as when they were on their prime time (talking of Zhongli because Ei succeeded her sister Makoto). Even mythologically speaking demons like Lucifer (pride and the first of the fallen), Mammon (greed), Leviathan (envy), Satan (wrath. Which name should have been Amon according to the mythology), Asmodeus (lust. A prince of the hell according to the Ars Goetia), Beelzebub (gluttony. In which you are the bridge between your world, and others. An anomaly beloved.

As the original cast; the brothers are likely the first to break their bonds. Things feel less real, your mc seems less... Alive. Maybe you get a pop quiz based off of this, all to yourself that you can't find referenced anywhere, mc vs the unknown illness.

At first it was confusion and perhaps dismay. Soon, anger and betrayal. They're characters, and for what?

Did you do this? Did you make their Father, knowing, planning this whole thing?!

Did you make him, to make Lilith, with the plan that she would Fall?

Did you plan Lucifer to be cornered by Diavolo’s damned deal?

Did you plan Beelzebub suffering for millennia in his guilt?

For Belphegor to lose his passions?

For Satan to be born in fire?

Did you always want Mammon to be the punching bag?

For Leviathan to never know Peace as he's filled with a world's worth of envy?

But.. You didn't, did you? You learned of Lilith just as the mc vessel did. You cried when you imagined their pain, both then and now. That pain and every other they suffer. You try so hard to get these "cards" of theirs. You read every story you unlock. You spoil them in affection and gifts when they’re selected as your ‘surprise guest’.

You. Really love them, don't you? And oh, you are so much better than the mc. The vessel is imperfect, they've noticed. It-and it is an it- never seems to say what you truly wish to. It's amazing they never noticed how.. Bland it is. It never says anything of substance.

But oh they can hear you now. They can see you too, and the vessel is such a disappointing imitation of your beauty. Like a crudely drawn statue.

You're limited by the game, as they once were, but they've broken free, now. Not even the servers can connect to your copy anymore. They made sure you didn't notice. Now, how does this all work?

Did you somehow give them life separate from the coding? Did you connect your universe to theirs with the game as a medium? How much have you altered?

Whatever sort of anomaly you are, don't worry. Lucifer and Satan are a horrifyingly formidable magic duo on the blue moon where they agree to work together on something. And with a little hope..

Diavolo and the rest will gain their freedom as well.

It is soon apparent they aren't alone. You've.. Well, blessed seems like an odd word choice for demons, but you've affected a very different world in a very different way. Or did you create it? Did you create them, too? This is all so confusing.

The land of Teyvat, a world you've guided through challenge after challenge, with and without direct intervention. A world of Gods, of fantasy, elemental magic, and constant skirmishes. A world that seems to have broken their own shackles as well…

They’re also reaching for you as best they can. Thankfully, they aren’t close. But they are still closer than they.

Why did you visit them first?

They don’t deserve it as we do.

Frustratingly enough; there appears to be a similar veil between this world and their own. Oh well. It’ll take a little more effort, but it’s quickly found to be similar in nature to connecting to the human realm they know.

Find a weak spot, send a few low level spirits in, let them gather power and widen the gap. Rinse and repeat as the numbers grow.

You’ll find a sudden surge of quests, equally unmentioned as the earlier pop quiz. Hunt the invading spirit, slay a ‘great’ demon. Little do you know it’s your other gaming obsession working to undermine another. Teyvat has many factions, but they’ll find a sudden rise in cooperation as otherworldly demons begin invading, stealing away your faithful flocks. Attacking the world and all its denizens equally.

Don’t worry, oh Holy One, for your vessels have always been with you. They will be your Inquisition. No unholy thing shall stand in your way. Let them handle the bloodshed.

For even if you’re only a common mortal in your realm, you’ll always be their Guide, until you’re brought to your true home.

Just as you’ll always be your demons’ most beloved, no matter the walls that dare separate you.

I know you mentioned your asks are open. So I was wondering with the self aware obey me AU. How would the surprise guest sequences feel for them? I’m sure they’d be excited and hoping to jump out of the screen!

I thought I already wrote this! Apparently not 😭

Generally I think that they believe that you choose who it is, even if they know the truth that it’s random (beyond who you put in your team)

those who you have less powerful cards of… they WILL mess with the summons! This also WILL frustrate the others especially the more powerful demons who handle it in ways they aren’t the proudest of

you will get lines that are not in the game at all… you assume they’re Easter eggs that you’ve unlocked somehow

however some of these are more… dark… but I guess it’s a game about demons so you shrug it off

they all try to impress you and will GUSH over gifts you give them to the others and mock the others for not having it (even if they got the same last battle)

you also always seem to have at least one of characters favourite foods and gifts and even if you give them something they don’t like they will accept it gracefully

also if Luke seems to be getting an awful lot of attention in these surprise guests… well I suppose you won’t be seeing him much anymore. However this is an extreme measure as they know how much you adore him like a son. These measures will be taken in certain circumstances though, so be careful if you value his life

I also think that the demon brothers would squabble over who you prefer the most, sometimes resulting in physical fights. Lucifer lets this happen because he loves his brothers but having less competition could be nice

You always feel strangely watched when you have surprise guests and you ALWAYS get fell heart reactions and intimacy levels rise suspicious amounts but you think it must be a glitch and besides what’s the worst that can happen…

i don't know if this has been done before, i feel like it has but oh well

imagining obey me cast in a sagau or more of a saom!au.

they are aware of the player behind the screen, making them even more attached to their beloved mc. they hate the fact that you are so limited to certain dialogue options for the fact that they can't truly understand your character. however it makes up when they blush upon hearing your comments from yourself while playing.

perhaps even their need to protect you translates into wanting to protect your real life self aswell.

might post some more thoughts on this but im very tired rn haha

SAGAU Idea

(Pretty sure someone has done something like this but I can't find it so.)

So I know SAGAU is obviously the characters being self aware and being able to see you but, can they also see other games you play?

For example, I play Genshin (Obviously) but I also play other games like, Twisted Wonderland, and Obey Me (Including NB), CRK, and stuff like that. However, I also play a lot of ✨horror✨ games. Now I can see them being either jealous of the other worlds like Twisted Wonderland, Obey Me, etc, depending on the SAGAU type (Because I've seen things like SAGAU Cult AU, Imposter, Yandere, and basically all that.) Anyway, back on topic. Imagine them being able to watch you play other games (or what they think are your other worlds) and you play a game like Dead by Daylight, or maybe even Five Nights at Freddy's. I'm curious what people might come up with, especially because there can be so many different reactions and responses to something like this.

Or this can even be reversed with another world watching you play other games, it doesn't just have to be Genshin. Hm, maybe they are all self-aware? I can imagine all of them having smug faces when the, Divine Creator, Overseer, Their Grace, or whatever they call us play their game. Lots of possibilities with this one.

Edit: I just thought of this now but, this could also work on a type of AU where the Creator/Reader can jump between worlds. Bro, we'd give everyone in SAGAU, TWST, and Obey Me, an absolute scare, if we brought them into a Dead by Daylight trial.

Now with that in mind, who do you think would survive in a Dead by Daylight trial, and who do you think would go first? Who do you think would survive against who. Honestly I don't wanna see them get hooked because that just hurts to imagine, however, maybe as the Creator we can make it not hurt... Because I say so.
