As requested, pt 2 ;) , might make a pt.3... maybe.
Soil & Dirt PT.2

Prompt: After Peter leaves you unsatisfied in the greenhouse, you have to wait till lunch to get your reward.
Word Count: 1.8k
Content: NSFW, angry & frustrated reader, described femine reader, pussy eating, clit play, bit of crying, cocky & soft Peter cause I said so, bit of dirty talk, revenge ;)
Lunch was a disaster, your mind a constant battle with the present and past. Your body felt heated, upset, and wounded from Peter’s sinister games. Face red with either flustation or frustration, your fork in a death grip as you puncture a grape.
Lily took notice, and so did Mary but she knew better than to worsen your state so she kept quiet. Lily, however, could not do the same.
“You alright?” She asked, taking a bite out of her sandwich as you pulled on a smile. Your panties drenched with a certain type of lust only your boyfriend could achieve, you nod anyway.
“Yeah of course,” you say, chewing on your fruit as you hear a sweet laugh fill the air, a mix of a deep chuckle and pure amusement. Your eyes look over, seeing Peter’s head leant back as his group of friends raved over some silly joke.
This time, a strawberry was stabbed and the fork scraped forcefully against the bowl. A tad more force and the utensils would have broken, much like your earlier ruined orgasm.
You thought bitterly to yourself, watching him eat his sandwich like he hadn’t just played you for the fool you were. How could he sit there and laugh? Wasn’t your pain enough for him to bow down and become insufferable with grief? You had to look away, a pout on your lips that Peter just noticed as he turned to see you. His smirk widened, seeing your tense shoulders that he would later sink his hands into and wind down your anger with battled pleasure.
You finished your food quickly, organizing your used plates neatly on the table as you got up and walked swiftly past the boys. Peter watched you pass, eyes narrow as you pushed your chin out and didn’t even spare him a single glance. He realized his mistake and sighed, watching your hips taunt before you turned the corner and headed down the hall.
Your steps lead you to the Gryffindor portrait, arms crossed as you lean against the wall and wait for your troubled boyfriend. The longer you wait the more you feel desperate, breath uneven in whispers.
You get excited at the sounds of footsteps, heart racing as you dampen your angry stance and try to look more fluent. But it was only a second year passing by; your eyes closed in irritation, arms folded back over your chest as the young boy took notice and hurried away down the hall.
A few moments pass, Peter's head seen down the stairs as his body later follows until he is standing right before you. You turn your head, not offering a word while waiting for him to open the portrait so you can finally get the ending you deserve.
“If I didn’t know any better I’d say m’love is upset,” he starts, you glare and hold back your tongue so you don’t yell at him in front of the paintings. “Open the door Peter,” you say, having to look away from his teasing smile as he steps in front of the singing lady and says the password.
Once it opened you slid under his arm that held the door, walking into the common room, not sparing it a second look before heading straight up the stairs to the boy's dormitory. Peter follows close behind, watching your skirt swish with the movement.
You turned to a corridor, walking through it with quicker steps as you knew what awaited. Anticipation motivated you, hand leapt out and turned the door knob as you opened it and walked into the window-lit room.
Your legs carried you to his bed, falling onto it as Peter shut the door behind you. He kicked off his shoes, watching as you got comfy on your stomach and head tucked into his pillows.
A series of complaints then started, muffled by the fabric and Peter knew he’d have to spend the rest of the afternoon winning you over. He leaned on the bed, knees dipping into the mattress as his hand came to rub your exposed thigh.
“Don’t touch me,” you speak loudly, lifting your head and turning to look at him. He sighs, continues to place his hand on your thigh and gently squeezed the muscle.
“How am I supposed to make you feel better if I can’t touch you?” He asks reasonably, hand travelling quickly as it disappears briefly under your skirt. His fingers just graze your ass before you turn on your back, swatting his hand away with a matching frown. He bites his lip, seeing your daggers for a stare and places his hands on his thighs.
Your eyes look briefly down at your skirt, then to his trousers with a full pout. Peter wasn’t a genius but he knew what that meant, he knew better than to leave your desperate stares unnoticed.
Your stomach fluttered, making it impossible to express your feelings. Frustrated tears welled up behind your lash line, leaking down your cheeks as a sob racked through your body.
“Oh, baby,” Peter's voice whispered softly, his face deepened with concern as he cupped your cheek gently and rubbed away leaking tears with his thumb. “'m sorry, I was being mean wasn’t I?”
“Mh-hm,” you hum, pulling away from his soft hands and hiding your face behind your own shaky ones as you wipe at your tears. They didn’t stop, your chest rising with each sharp inhale as you tried to remain situated. You wanted Peter to know how angry you were but it was coming out in emotional distress.
“I was so close Peter,” you exhale, voice pale from crying as you look at him with culprit-induced eyes. He nods, lips in a frown and you can’t help but find it attractive.
“Let me make it up to you,” he offers, tucking hairs away from your wet cheeks as he pulls them behind your ears. You nod, breathing in slowly as the tears shortly stop. He smiles, lifting your chin and placing a long kiss on your lips. Once you kiss him back a grin replaces his frown, trailing his lips down your jaw and towards your collarbone.
“Did I tell you how pretty you looked in this outfit?” He asks, lifting the loose blouse that was tucked into your skirt. You don’t fall for his kind words, still upset from his earlier antics. “Don’t soften me up, m’angry,” you huff, in which Peter chuckles and unbuttons the shirt swiftly. You let him pull it down your shoulders, leaning up a bit so he can toss it away onto the floor.
“I can tell, that’s okay I’ll fuck you good and you’ll be my sweet girl again hm?” He whispers against your naval, kissing up until your bra hides what he once felt this morning. You sigh, his eyes looking up at you as he unhooks the garment and slides it off your shoulders. “I didn’t hear a no,” he grins, you rolled your eyes and felt his warm lips kiss the valley in between your breasts.
“M’getting the silent treatment?” He asks, breath tickling your goosebump-ridden skin and his fingers massage your aching mounds. His thumb rolled over your nipple, leaving you little time to get used to the feeling before his tongue licked over the perk bud, swirling it gingerly before sucking greedily.
A pretty gasp left your lips, back arching just enough to press yourself against Peter's looming body. You grinned, mind happy with the pleasure as your fingers threaded through his hair and pushed him down your stomach. Peter listened without words, his finger hooking the hem of your skirt and helping you wiggle out of it. He kissed under your navel as he pulled down your soaked panties, tossing them somewhere you won’t be able to find.
“Fuck,” he rasps, fingers running up through your folds and collecting the desperation. Your hips twitch as his finger nicks your clit, hips grounded to try and get closer. He looked up at you, seeing your forced pout. “Made you wait like this?” He asked, a bit proud of himself that he could achieve such a state.
You nod, combing back his messy hair as you pull him closer between your parted thighs. “Yeah, s’mean and rude!” You chanted, upset at the thought as Peter shakes his head.
“Bit mean of me I’ll admit, but the wait makes it feel better,” he promises, his baby blue eyes intimate with your own. You pull away, still furious but your stomach knotted at his gaze. “Oh shut up, m’waited enough,” you mumble and he agrees with you, licking up your slit and blowing teasingly against your swollen clit.
“Oh Peter, fuck,” you whisper, moving your legs so they rest against his shoulders. Your thighs shake, and his tongue continues down your folds, pushing his tongue inside. Your hips melt, fluttering at his touching and you press yourself further into his face.  He rubs your clit with his thumb, pressing in with deep circles.
You bit your lip as you leaned your head back against his pillows, throat exposed as you let him toy around. It wouldn’t take long until you were sobbing and releasing all over his face. You hated how he was right, the waiting made it better. So much better.
Cheeks flushed, eyes rolled back inside your skull as gasping moans filled the room. Peter's sounds muffled against your body, possibly enjoying this more than you. His cock was hard, leaking against his boxers. All morning his mind was filled with images of his cock stuffing you, he’d fuck you for hours if he could.
“That’s it! That’s it!” You whined, desperate as your body warmed and a sensation built up quickly. Peter’s thumb never faulted as his tongue still prodded your gushing pussy, suffocating once you trapped his head in between your thighs and lost it once your climax released.
Your thighs are sticky with sweat, gently prying off his head as he pulls back and breathes properly. His eyes are shining, matching his glistening lips as you bring your head back.
“Fuck that was good,” you pant, tits rising with each inhale as your fingers untangle from his blond locks. He nods, sitting up on his knees as he unbuckles his trousers.
“Uh-uh,” you taut, closing your aching thighs and hiss at the friction. He squinted his eyes, letting out a sharp, “what?” as you watch his cock press painfully against the fabric.
“You can wait till after dinner,” you hum in thought, turning around and leaning over the bed to fetch your panties. Peter gets a full view of your swollen goods, his breath hard as he watches you hide the pretty sight behind the fabric.
“Are you kidding me?” He asked, sitting confused on his ruffled bed as you quickly put on your outfit. You just buttoned up your shirt and tucked it into your skirt as you leaned over, kissing him with a giggle. “It’s better if you wait,” you explain with revengeful eyes, quickly slipping out of his room and waving with an innocent smile.
He watched the door close, cheeks flushed with red as he licked over his lips, the sweet taste invading his senses. “Fucking tease,”

sirius black being the cockiest mf ever trying to impress his crush and she is not impressed in the slightest to the point he starts getting really shy around her because he no longer knows how to act if his usual bravado doesn't work
but turns out just being his dorky, vulnerable, and still (softer) flirty self works like a charm!!
Sirius would totally the most cocky and immature tactics to get you to go out with him. it would be romantic for sure. im picturing the dance number that heath ledger sings in “10 things i hate about you.”
I hope you enjoy!

summery: after Sirius gives up on his boastful ways of flirting, you turn the other cheek and notice the popular marauder is sweet and dorky on the inside.
warnings: not proof read. one inappropriate joke, but that’s all 🫶🏻
pairing: sirius black x reader
Tumblr media
Sirius Black was a charmer. That was for certain. Rumors spread like the plague of his roughish ways. You were not a fan of him, which was unfortunate for you because he was a fan of you. Constantly. Every chance he would get, he would flirt you up in the hallway.
“Hey y/n, what are you doing later?” He would ask you. You replied with, “McGonagall’s transfiguration essay.”
Sirius just smirked and returned with his cocky banter, “That’s a shame, I wish you’d do me instead.” He grinned, James and Peter behind him laughing.
It wasn’t genuine, or at least that’s how you felt. You rolled your eyes and replied with, “You wish, Black. In your dreams.”
You walked away with out seeing or hearing Sirius’ response. It frustrated you to no end that he would joke that way. You wanted to save him the trouble. He was obnoxious and too cocky for your own liking.
You missed when he was sweet and genuine. Not the popular boy that has become a staple at Hogwarts.
Sirius on the other hand, genuinely did want you. But no other tactic had gotten him a date. The rumors were misconstrued and he put on a cocky front. But in reality he was just as shy and dorky as he used to be.
One night after a hogsmeade trip, you were reading in the Gryffindor common room. It was a nice quiet night by the fire place. But all of a sudden, Sirius showed up, sat in an arm chair near you and started playing with wizarding cards.
“Could you keep that down?” You asked him, looking up from your book.
You expected a witty and cocky calculated response, but instead Sirius looked flushed. He ran a hand through this shiny hair and nodded, a little shy.
He gave up on impressing you and being so boastful. What did he have to lose? “Yeah sure, sorry.” He replied.
Sirius’ response continued to surprise you. Where were his annoyingly witty comments and jokes? Why wasn’t he flirting?
“Are you okay?” You asked, now a little confused.
“Yeah I’m fine,” he replied, lookin over at you. In his mind you looked so beautiful sitting by the fire. “Urm—actually I wanted to apologize. For making you so upset. I just think you’re really pretty an all. But I’m taking the hint and I’ll stop.”
He sounded so sweet about it and vulnerable. This was the Sirius you liked. The genuine one.
You smiled softly, “Thank you for the apology Sirius. I appreciate it. But you really think I’m pretty?” You asked.
He nodded, continuing to be sincere in his response. “Yeah, could never take my eyes off you love?” He said. It was straightforward and flirty but absolutely adorable and dorky.
You blushed. Why couldn’t be t he like this all the time?
“I like you like this.” You said, with a small smile. Sirius flushed.
“Y-you-u do?” He asked, a little surprised. This was the first time you’d shown him affection.
“Yeah. I mean when you aren’t being so boastful and cocky around me. I like the genuine you, Sirius.” You said.
With that, he sat up and walked over to the couch. He sat next you and both were facing each other.
“Sooo, I guess what you’re saying is???” He teased. You lightly pushed him and laughed.
“I’m saying if you tried to ask me out in a less boastful way. I would say yes.” You explained, blushing.
Sirius felt like he’d won the jackpot. “Really?! Uh I mean oh that’s cool.” He said, earning another giggle out of you.
“Y/n, will you go out with me?” He asked, sincerely.
You nodded, “Yes Sirius, I will.”

rewrite your elvis fic why’d you only call me when you’re high but with one of the marauders?
Title: Why'd You Only Call me When You're High?
Pairing: Sirius Black x Reader
Warnings: smut, angst, drugs, old school rocker vibes
Word Count: 1.9K+
A/N: this could only be written about Sirius I'm sorry! He's so rockstar coded! happy holidays y'all :)
Tumblr media
… The mirror's image, it tells me it's home time
But I'm not finished, 'cause you're not by my side
And as I arrived I thought I saw you leavin', carryin' your shoes
Decided that once again I was just dreamin' of bumpin' into you
… Now it's three in the mornin' and I'm tryin' to change your mind
Left you multiple missed calls and to my message, you reply
"Why'd you only call me when you're high?"
"Hi, why'd you only call me when you're high?"
Sirius finished his line of coke, flipping his head up and sniffing harshly. He gave himself a long look in the mirror. He looked great, obviously: leather jacket over a bare chest, a tangle silver and gold necklaces of varying lengths cascading down his neck to his chest. Most of his tattoos were visible and his pair of leather pants were impossibly tight. His fingers were adorned with a number of rings and his hair was that perfect combination of messed up and carefully styled. His eyeliner was smudged around his eyes and he couldn’t quite tell if his eyes were so dark from the eyeliner or from the lack of sleep.
Sirius couldn’t remember the last time he had had a solid night of sleep, but that was the nature of touring. Of course his bandmates weren’t like he was. James was boring and married with a kid, who Sirius obviously doted on, but James spent all his time when they weren’t performing or practicing with Lily and Harry. Remus was dating this guy Grant who really got under Sirius’s skin. Was it because Sirius and Remus had had a fling, an excellent mind-blowing fling, and when Remus pushed for more Sirius said no and Remus moved onto Grant? Maybe. Was it because Grant was disgustingly kind and sweet and felt like the absolute antithesis of Sirius? Maybe. Was it because Grant had gotten Remus into tea and biscuits rather than coke and pills? Maybe it was that too. And then there was Peter. Peter, bless his heart, tried his absolute best but the coke made his nose bleed, pills made him constipated, and liquor made him vomit. So most nights after a show, James would go home to Lily and Harry, Remus would go home to Grant, Peter would go home to god knows who (probably his cats or gerbils or whatever), and Sirius would go anywhere but home.
He had liked groupies, townies, the international girls and guys, but he liked you most of all. You were a bit of a forbidden fruit, you were his brother Regulus’s best friend, but that made it all the more appealing. Sirius only went home, only spent the night in his bed, if he knew you would be there too.
Sirius dialed your number as he made his way home in the backseat of his limo. He was rolling something that he wasn’t sure if it was a joint or a cigarette as the phone rang. He did a double take as he drove past Newt Scamander’s house. Newt Scamander was an old school rocker, a living legend basically, and even though he was a little past his prime looks-wise, he was still a sex symbol. But it wasn’t just Newt’s house that caused Sirius’s double take, it was the fact that he thought he saw walking out of Newt’s house, carrying your phone in one hand and your heels in the other. Sirius shook the thought from his brain, figuring that he was so high he probably just saw a tree branch or something. Sirius got your voicemail but he knew, despite the late hour, that you were not asleep. He dialed you again. And again. And again. Until finally he heard your voice.
“Why’d you only call me when you’re high?” You sounded annoyed but he just laughed it off as he walked into his house, stepping out of his boots and kicking them off somewhere, stripping his sweaty clothes haphazardly and letting them fall off his body haphazardly.
“That’s how you answer the phone? No hi?” Sirius teased, falling back on his bed and stretching his sore muscles.
“Hi.” You said pointedly, “why’d you only call me when you’re high?”
“I’m not high.” Sirius said, taking a long drag of his spliff.
“It’s three in the morning, Sirius.”
“Come over baby.” Sirius crooned.
“You’re still talking the same shite you always did.” You were rolling your eyes, Sirius knew you were.
“It’s harder and harder to get you to listen, baby.” Sirius said, a bite of annoyance coming through. He was on the come down from his earlier line and and was getting irritated.
“Luckily for you I’m incapable of making alright decisions. I’ll see you in a few.” You disconnected the call.
Sirius finished his spliff and began to roll another one. There were a few messages on his phone from James, he was probably up at one of those late night feedings for Harry. He started to read through them when he heard his door open and shut and after a few moments you were in his bedroom, crawling your way up the bed towards him.
“That was fast.” Sirius frowned. Usually it took you at least fifteen minutes to get from your place to his, even in the dead of night when no one was out on the street.
“You complaining?” You asked, pulling your shirt over your head as you straddled him. Sirius was going to question things more but suddenly your tits were in his face and he forgot all about that.
… Somewhere darker, talkin' the same shite
I need a partner, well, are you out tonight?
It's harder and harder to get you to listen
More I get through the gears
He buried his face between your tits and groaned,
“This is my favorite place in the absolute world.”
“Well make yourself useful, Black, and stimulate my nipples.” You said, gripping his hair harshly. Sirius obliged, wrapping his lips around one of your hard nipples and his nimble fingers flew to other one, tweaking and pinching it. You were grinding down in his lap against his hard-on until his lips moved from nipples up around the curvature of your breast, then up your clavicle, then up your neck, until he got up to your lips. Before he could connect his lips to yours, you pulled back and made your way down his body and wrapped your hand around his cock. Sirius gasped as you ran your hand between your legs to lubricate it and then started jerking Sirius off. You laid flat on your stomach between Sirius’s legs and continued jerking him as you lightly sucked one of his balls into your mouth. Sirius went from the light gasps to strangled, intense moans and he felt like his lungs were about the collapse.
“Get up,” he choked out, “I need to be inside you.”
You lifted yourself up and without much warning you seated yourself on Sirius’s cock. Sirius groaned and held your hips hard in place, preventing you from moving.
“Sirius, come on.” You whined, your nose touching his as you tried to move again. Sirius released his grip and started fucking up into you hard. Sirius lifted his jaw, capturing your lips in a deep kiss. You pulled away harshly, pushing yourself up so you were no longer pressed against his chest. Sirius thought about saying something but then you moved your hips in the most delicious way and he forgot all about it. Sirius pulled you off of him and flipped you over, bending you over so your chest and face were pressed against the mattress and your hips were up in the air. There was a tattoo at the base of your back that had have been new. He pushed into you, his hands grasping your hips like he was about to fall off the edge of a cliff.
He was close, so so close to finishing, but he was distracted by the tattoo on your back. It looked like a constellation, it was vaguely familiar looking, maybe it was something that he had studied in an astronomy course. One of the stars on the constellations was darker than the rest and it had a small green glow mark around it.
“Did you snort too much or something? I’m getting rug burn here.” You said, turning and looking over your shoulder at Sirius. Sirius’s eyes snapped back up to yours and as he locked eyes with you he came. He always tried to pull out but he was caught off guard this time that he came inside you.
Incapable of makin' alright decisions, and havin' bad ideas
… Now it's three in the mornin' and I'm tryin' to change your mind
Left you multiple missed calls and to my message you reply
"Why'd you only call me when you're high?”
“Fuck Sirius!” You snapped, jumping off him and running to the bathroom.
“Sorry,” Sirius murmured. It was weird…that tattoo was so so weird. It felt like something was sitting on chest he was so strangled by the idea that he had seen that exact constellation before.
“Fuck Sirius,” you repeated, walking back into his room and shaking your head, “I gotta get a morning after pill tomorrow.” You walked over to Sirius’s discarded tight leather pants and pulled out a few crumpled up bills that were in his pockets. “This is why I fucking hate having sex with you when you’re high.”
“I’m not high,” Sirius said weakly, still staring at your tattoo as you were bent over digging through his pockets.
“You only ever call me when you’re high.” You said, straightening up and starting to pull on your clothes.
“You aren’t staying?” Sirius felt like he was running out of time.
“I, uh, have to be up in the morning so I need to have an…early night.” You said, not looking Sirius in the eyes.
“Am I starting to bore you baby?”
"Hi, why'd you only call me when you're high?"
… And I can't see you here, wonderin' where am I
It sort of feels like I'm runnin' out of time
I haven't found all I was hopin' to find
You said you gotta be up in the mornin'
Gonna have an early night
And you're startin' to bore me, baby
“I’m fine, Sirius. I just have an early morning.” You said in a snippier tone than Sirius had ever expected to hear from you.
“What’s that tattoo on your back?” Sirius stormed across the room and grabbed you by the arm harshly.
“It’s the constellation Leo.” You snapped back, glaring up at Sirius.
“And what’s the glow on that star?” Sirius didn’t know why he was getting so upset but his blood pressure was only continuing to rise as he looked at you and thought about that tattoo.
“You really don’t know?” You smiled cruelly. “You really don’t recognize it.”
“What is it?” Sirius could feel his nose bleeding and he wiped at it. There was a streak of smeared blood on his cupid’s bow.
“It’s the star Regulus.” You grinned.
“Why’d you have to be such a bitch?” Sirius screamed.
“Why’d you have to be?” You retorted.
“Why’d you always lie?”
“Why’d you only call me when you’re high?”
Why'd you only call me when you're high?
… "Why'd you only ever phone me when you're high?"
"Why'd you only ever phone me when you're high?"
"Why'd you only ever phone me when you're high?"
"Why'd you only ever phone me when you're high?”

________________________________
The salty breeze carried the scent of the sea as you sailed back to your coastal home, the ship cutting through the waves with a rhythmic dance. Weeks away had been spent gathering supplies for the impending winter, and anticipation filled your chest like the billowing sails above. The distant sight of your humble abode on the shoreline brought a surge of warmth to your heart, eager to reunite with your family after the long and arduous journey.
However, the moment you stepped over the threshold of your home, the air grew heavy with an unspoken darkness. What should have been a joyous homecoming transformed into a nightmare as your eyes fell upon the gruesome scene before you. The familiar rooms, once filled with the laughter and love of your family, were now stained with tragedy. Your entire family lay slaughtered, lifeless bodies scattered like discarded memories—a devastating tableau that crushed your heart with a grief beyond words.
"Mother? Father?" you called out, your voice trembling with a mixture of disbelief and anguish. The silence that greeted you in response was haunting, each step through the home echoing with the weight of loss. Sobbing, you navigated through the rooms, discovering each lifeless form with a growing sense of horror. The vibrant tapestry of your family had been torn apart, leaving behind a desolate canvas of despair.
Stumbling out of your home, the salty sea breeze that had once felt invigorating now carried the bitter taste of sorrow. Seeking comfort and possibly an explanation, you found yourself at the doorsteps of your neighbor, Peter Pettigrew. Despite his oddities, he had always been kind, a familiar presence in the close-knit community. As you stood on his doorstep, tears streaming down your face, he met your gaze with a somber expression.
"I saw them, lass. Captain Remus and his crew," Peter confessed, the weight of the revelation evident in his tired eyes. "Said your father owed them money, and he never paid up." The words hit you like a cannonball, an explosion of anger and betrayal surging through your veins. The truth of the matter unfolded before you, and amidst the grief, a flame of vengeance ignited.
"You're telling me they killed my family over money?" you exclaimed, tears streaming down your face. Peter said nothing, eyes casting down to the floorboards of his home.
"Thank you, Peter," you whispered, your voice choked with both gratitude and determination. With a heavy heart, you turned away. Peter, however, called your name. You turned to look at him.
"I would lay low for a while. Remus he--he always comes back." You nodded once, walking out of his home.
Heedful of Peter's caution, you moved swiftly, a sense of urgency propelling each step. The weight of grief and the looming threat of Captain Remus's return hung heavy over your shoulders. Gathering the essentials became a solemn task, and gratitude filled your heart for your past self's foresight in stashing away money earned from odd jobs. It was a providential reserve that now fueled your escape, a lifeline in the unpredictable sea of danger that awaited.
As you entered your older brother's room, a solemn reverence enveloped you. The clothes you shed were not just garments; they were a symbolic shedding of the past, a poignant farewell to the life you once knew. Donning your brother's attire and severing your long locks with a decisive cut, you emerged transformed. An alias was born—Sterling. The reflection in the mirror seemed a stranger, a persona crafted out of necessity, veiling the woman beneath with the guise of a man.
Months unfolded like a blur as you navigated towns, existing on the fringe of society, always on the lookout for the shadow of Captain Remus and his relentless pursuit. The edges of existence became your refuge, and the nights were spent in silent contemplation beneath the canopy of stars. Each step taken with caution, each interaction tinged with the awareness of the danger that lurked in the shadows.
The coastal breeze whispered through the narrow alleyways of the town as you cautiously moved through the shadows, avoiding any unwanted attention. The flickering lanterns cast elongated shadows, creating a blanket of darkness and light in the quiet streets. Each step felt like an echo of your past life, now obscured by the cloak of Sterling.
In a dimly lit inn, you overheard snippets of conversation—rumors of Captain Remus's relentless pursuit and the escalating tensions among his crew. The news of his impending return spurred you into swift action, gathering your belongings and slipping away under the cover of night.
Fate, unpredictable as the sea, guided you through various towns, living on the fringes of society. The alias Sterling became your shield, a persona that allowed you to fade into the background. Each day brought a blend of anonymity and fear, and each night, the stars bore witness to your silent struggles and determination.
Months later, as you traversed a bustling town square, the collision with Captain Remus was both unexpected and inevitable. The impact sent a jolt through your disguised frame, and you steadied yourself before meeting his gaze. Taking a good look at the man who had wrought havoc upon your life, you couldn't help but despise the handsome features that masked the darkness within. Scars etched on his face told tales of battles, and his bright eyes, oblivious to the pain he had caused, glistened in the sunlight. Remus, his eyes sharp and piercing, regarded you with an air of indifference.
"Watch where you're going, lad," Remus chided, though his eyes lingered on you with curiosity. In your best "manly" voice, you grumbled an apology, attempting to divert attention from the woman beneath the façade of Sterling.
"What's your name?" he asked, nonchalantly.
"Sterling," you replied, your voice gruff, feigning indifference. Remus, seemingly unfazed, observed you for a moment before making an unexpected proposition.
"Say, Sterling, I'm looking for some help on my ship. I'll compensate. Won't be much, but you'll also have a place to stay and three meals a day."
The offer hung in the air, a precarious bridge leading into the heart of the storm. In that moment, the seed of your plan sprouted—a plan to gain trust, manipulate alliances, and exact revenge. "I could use the work," you grunted, accepting the proposition. Little did Remus know, beneath the guise of Sterling, a storm of vengeance brewed—a storm that would either consume you or reshape the destiny of those on the ship.
Accepting Remus's offer, you found yourself aboard his ship, an inconspicuous addition to the crew as Sterling. The wooden planks beneath your feet groaned in protest as the ship sliced through the moonlit waves, leaving a trail of phosphorescent ripples in its wake. The scent of salt and sea permeated the air, a constant reminder of the unpredictable journey that lay ahead.
Guided by Remus, you were shown to a drabby little room nestled at the bottom of the ship. Despite its humble appearance, he assured you of some privacy. "It's not much, I'm afraid, but it'll serve you well," he remarked before leaving you to settle in. As the door closed behind him, the dim light revealed a cramped space adorned with a simple bunk and a small porthole, offering a glimpse of the vast expanse beyond.
Alone in the confines of your quarters, you took a moment to breathe, your thoughts shrouded in the darkness of your hidden purpose. It was time to set the plan in motion, to weave the threads of manipulation and revenge that would ultimately lead to justice for your slaughtered family.
In the ensuing months on the ship, you observed Remus's multifaceted nature. His generosity extended not only to his crew but also to those they encountered on their seafaring exploits. Yet, beneath the veneer of kindness lurked a vengeful edge—a side of him that demanded retribution for debts owed and promises unkept. He was a complex and formidable man, earning the respect and fear of those who sailed under his flag.
However, in the disarray of piracy, a stark contrast emerged. While Remus ensured he received his due payment through various means, you noticed a peculiar absence—an absence of bloodshed in settling scores. Despite the ruthlessness attributed to pirates, you had yet to witness Remus taking a life, especially someone who owed him something. The dissonance between Peter's words and the reality unfolding before you sowed seeds of doubt, and questions began to fester in the recesses of your mind.
As the ship sailed through uncharted waters and treacherous tides, you grappled with the enigma that was Captain Remus Lupin. The dichotomy of his actions left you torn between the loyalty you had sworn to your family and the complexities of the man whose trust you sought to gain. The journey ahead, like the rolling waves beneath the ship, remained unpredictable, each passing day unveiling layers of truth and deception in the heart of piracy.
Despite your hesitance, you found yourself carrying out your plan. The moon hung high in the night sky, casting an ethereal glow over the ship's deck. The gentle creaking of the ship and the distant sound of waves provided a haunting backdrop as James Potter stood alone, lost in contemplation. You approached him, your footsteps muffled by the rhythm of the ocean.
With a sly smile playing on your lips, you interrupted the solitude that enveloped him. "James," you called softly, drawing his attention away from the vast expanse of the sea. His hazel eyes met yours, and you could see the glimmer of uncertainty within.
"Ever notice how Remus seems to lean towards Sirius in critical decisions?" you ventured, your tone a conspiratorial whisper that hung in the night air. "It's almost as if he trusts him more, values his judgment over yours."
James furrowed his brows, a subtle crease forming on his forehead. The words lingered in the air, planting a seed of doubt in his mind. "You think so?" he responded, his voice carrying a touch of uncertainty. It was a vulnerability that you seized upon, recognizing the opportunity to sow discontent.
Leaning closer, you continued, your words carefully chosen to accentuate James's growing feelings of inadequacy. "Remember the last mission? When Sirius suggested that risky maneuver, and Remus went along with it without questioning? It's like he has blind faith in Sirius's decisions, doesn't he?"
James's eyes darted away for a moment, memories of that particular mission playing in his mind. Doubt crept into his expression, a shadow of insecurity casting itself over his features. "I never really thought about it that way," he admitted, his voice laced with a hint of concern. With a gentle pat on his shoulder, you left James standing there, his thoughts swirling like the restless waves beneath the ship.

As the sun started to rise above the horizon, it casted a warm glow across the ship's deck, you found yourself stealing glances at Captain Remus. The way his attire clung to his every contour, the play of shadows on the weathered fabric—it was impossible not to appreciate the rugged allure he exuded. The ship's gentle sway seemed to accentuate the lines of his physique, and the golden hues of the fading sunlight danced in his tousled hair.
Unconsciously, your gaze lingered on the details—the intricate stitching on his well-worn coat, the glimpse of the compass tattoo peeking through the open neckline of his linen shirt. The sheathed cutlass at his side seemed like a part of him, a silent companion in his many adventures. A sense of admiration welled up within you, an involuntary response to the charisma that surrounded the Captain.
It was then that a sudden realization struck, jolting you out of your unintentional reverie. You weren't supposed to be captivated by Remus's rugged charm; you were Sterling, the alias you had crafted to infiltrate his crew and seek revenge. Reminding yourself of the bigger picture, of the vendetta that fueled your every move, became a struggle against the distracting pull of Remus's magnetic presence.
The longer you spent on the ship, the more challenging it became to maintain focus on your plan. The difficulty of reconciling your hidden identity with the growing fascination made every step of your strategic plan a battle against the tides of distraction. The very essence of the pirate's life, with its allure of freedom and daring exploits, became a potent force that tested the resolve of your carefully laid out intentions.
Yet, beneath the surface, the awareness of your true purpose persisted—a flame of determination that refused to be extinguished. The intricate dance of admiration and deception played out against the backdrop of the open sea, where every stolen glance and lingering thought carried the weight of a secret agenda. In the delicate balance between vulnerability and resolve, you navigated the uncharted waters of contradictory emotions, determined to stay the course of vengeance despite the enticing distractions that lay ahead.
____________________________________
A couple of weeks passed before you were able to get Sirius alone. You had instantly noticed James giving him the cold shoulder almost immediately.
The ship groaned and pitched as it battled against the tempestuous waves. Rain lashed against the wooden deck, and the air crackled with the energy of the storm. Peering up towards the deck, you spotted Sirius Black at the helm, his figure barely discernible against the deafening sea.
Approaching him with a concerned expression, you navigated the slippery deck as the ship swayed beneath your feet. "Sirius," you called out above the roaring winds, drawing his attention. His eyes met yours, reflecting the turbulent night that surrounded you both.
"Need a hand?" you shouted, offering assistance as the ship bucked beneath the force of the waves. Sirius, soaked and determined, nodded appreciatively. The salted spray stung your face as you joined him, hands gripping the wheel together in a shared effort to keep the ship on course.
In the midst of the storm, you seized the opportune moment to subtly introduce doubt. "James was just saying," you confided, your words carried away by the wind, "how he doubts your navigation skills. Thinks Remus made a mistake relying on you." The revelation hung in the air like a charged current, mingling with the thunderous sounds of the storm.
Sirius's grip on the wheel tightened, and his eyes, once focused on the turbulent waters, clouded with uncertainty. Raindrops mingled with the beads of seawater on his furrowed brow. Doubt crept into his expression like a stealthy intruder, casting shadows over the loyalty he held for Remus.
"He said that?" Sirius muttered, jaw clenched against the gusts of wind. The weight of perceived betrayal bore down on him, the discord between friends brewing in the tempest. The ship rocked violently, mirroring the tumult within Sirius's mind.
As you continued to struggle against the storm, the atmosphere between you and Sirius remained charged with unspoken tension. The foundation of trust between Remus and Sirius, once unshakable, now trembled under the strain of doubt. The storm raged on, both outside and within, setting the stage for the discord that would continue to unfold among the crew.
________________________________
Below deck, the atmosphere was suffocating, the air thick with the smell of salt, damp wood, and a sense of confinement. The cramped quarters provided a clandestine setting for the disquiet that had taken root among the crew. As you navigated through the narrow passageways, you couldn't help but catch snippets of hushed conversations, the discontent of the crew simmering beneath the surface.
Seizing the opportunity to exploit the unrest, you strategically approached small groups, subtly weaving tales of Remus's past decisions that had allegedly led to hardships for some. The dim light flickered overhead, casting eerie shadows on the faces of the crew as you spoke of sacrifices made and opportunities missed under Remus's leadership. The discontent grew like a smoldering ember, and soon, murmurs of dissatisfaction began to fill the air.
James, ever vigilant and loyal, overheard the discontented whispers. His brow furrowed, and a frown etched itself onto his face as he absorbed the implications of the crew's grievances. Concern etched across his features, he sought out Sirius, finding him in a secluded corner of the below-deck quarters.
"Sirius," James began, his voice low but laden with intensity. "Have you heard what they're saying about Remus? They think he might not have our best interests at heart." The gravity of the situation hung between them, and James's unwavering loyalty to Remus wavered in the face of the crew's growing dissent.
Sirius, already grappling with doubts of his own, looked at James with a mixture of uncertainty and contemplation. The camaraderie that had bound them through countless adventures now seemed strained under the weight of suspicion. The confined space below deck seemed to amplify the tension as the two friends confronted the unsettling notion that Remus might not be the unwavering leader they had always believed him to be.
Amidst the rising tensions on the ship, you sought out Captain Remus Lupin, the weight of feigned concern apparent in your expression. The wooden planks creaked beneath your footsteps as you approached him, the air thick with the palpable unease that had settled over the vessel like an impending storm.
With a practiced facade of innocence, you addressed Remus, "Captain, I couldn't help but notice that James and Sirius have been arguing more than usual. It's becoming quite noticeable, and I'm afraid it might be affecting the crew's morale." Your words, delivered with a touch of fabricated sympathy, painted a picture of disarray among his trusted allies.
Remus's brow furrowed in genuine concern. The bond between James and Sirius, once unbreakable, now showed visible strains. Troubled by the potential discord among his closest allies, Remus ran a hand through his disheveled hair, a sign of the internal turmoil brewing within him.
"Arguing?" Remus questioned, his voice reflecting a mix of confusion and worry. The idea of a divide among his crew, particularly between James and Sirius, struck a nerve. His gaze shifted between the crew members on the deck, searching for signs of discontent that had eluded him until now.
As you continued to feign concern, subtly stoking the flames of doubt, Remus's thoughts spiraled into introspection. The once clear path of unity and camaraderie now seemed clouded with uncertainty. The shadows of doubt cast upon his leadership lingered, leaving him questioning the very fabric that held his crew together.
_______________________________
The ship, once a bastion of unity, now teetered on the brink of disintegration. Internal conflicts had transformed the crew's dynamic into a powder keg of resentment and mistrust. Captain Remus was growing restless, sensing an insidious force at play, suspected betrayal from within. The air crackled with tension as suspicions reached a boiling point.
Remus's boots thumped against the floor as he hurried to your cabin. The wooden door of your cabin splintered open under the force of Remus's urgency. The dim light within flickered as your body, in the midst of changing attire, became an unintended tableau for the captain's intrusion. Shocked by the unexpected sight, Remus's gaze widened, capturing an unintended glimpse of vulnerability.
You gasped, hastily attempting to cover yourself, but it was too late. Remus, momentarily caught off guard, now stood witness to the revelation of your true identity. The realization echoed through the cabin, your "manly" facade unraveling like a threadbare cloth. A palpable sense of embarrassment and vulnerability hung in the air.
In that moment, Remus observed the subtle details—your hair, once concealed beneath the guise of Sterling, now flowing freely. A silent recognition passed through his mind, though he dismissed it as many men within the crew sported long locks.
A subtle recognition flickered in Remus's observant eyes. His gaze traced the contours of your face, now more revealing without the disguise that had obscured your womanly features. The delicate curve of your jaw, the softness in the arch of your brows, and the expressive depths of your eyes—the intricate details unveiled in the absence of the masculine facade.
Seeing you naked wasn't something he expected, and it took him a second to process this before stepping back into the small hall, slamming the door shut. It opened seconds later, your hair still down, but fully clothed. He couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. However, his attention went from wanting to have his hands all over you to the glinting metal in your hands.
"Why did you kill my family while sparing others who owed you money?" you demanded, your voice laced with the pain of betrayal, as you pushed him up against the wall, knife to his neck. Remus, taken aback by the revelation, questioned the authenticity of your claim.
"Your family? Kill? You have no idea the accusations you're throwing out," he replied, growing irritated. You say nothing, bringing the knife closer to his throat.
"You killed them out of spite just because my father owed you something."
"Who is your father?"
"Albus. Albus Dumbledore."
"I've never met an Albus Dumbledore before in my life," Remus said, incredulously. "Who told you that?"
"My neighbor. Peter--Peter Pettigrew. Said he saw the lot of you murder my family." When you disclosed Peter Pettigrew's name, Remus's face paled with realization.
"Your father didn't owe me a thing. Peter, on the other hand, owed me lots of money," Remus confessed, dispelling the fog of deception that had clouded your vendetta. He explained that he had spared Peter once before, only to catch him squandering the money in a pub. The truth, a beacon in the darkness, hung heavy in the air.
"I never wanted innocent blood on my hands. I've killed before, yes, but never over something as petty as money," he admitted.
The revelation of truth hung in the air, bitter and unforgiving, like a medicine applied to wounds that had festered in the shadows for far too long. The realization that your vendetta had been fueled by misinformation, that the blood staining your hands belonged to innocents, weighed heavily on your conscience.
Faltering under the weight of the truth, you lowered the knife, its metallic echo resonating through the dimly lit cabin. It was a sound that seemed to encapsulate the finality of the moment, a symbolic relinquishing of the weapon that had sought to mete out justice.
Knees giving way beneath you, you collapsed, the wooden planks of the ship bearing witness to the vulnerability that spilled forth. A strangled sob escaped your lips, a raw admission of the mistakes made in the relentless pursuit of revenge. The tears that flowed were not just for your family but for the misguided path you had trodden in the name of justice.
In this moment of despair, large, rough hands enveloped you, offering an unexpected sanctuary. Remus, recognizing the weight of your actions and the pain you carried, pulled you up into a tight hug. It was a surprising turn of events, a gesture of solace from the very man you had sought to bring to justice.
As you rested against Remus's chest, the steady rhythm of his heartbeat offered a reassurance that transcended words. In the midst of the turmoil, he acknowledged the complexity of your motives. There, in the embrace of the captain whose ship you had sought to dismantle, a strange camaraderie emerged—one born out of shared pain, deception, and the quest for redemption.
Remus's voice, a low murmur in the cavernous cabin, expressed admiration for your cunning ability to sow discord within the crew. It was an unexpected twist, an acknowledgment of the strategic mind that had manipulated the threads of loyalty.
Weeks drifted by like waves rolling across the open sea, each passing day carrying the weight of revelations and transformations. In the aftermath of the confrontation, a peculiar bond had formed between you and Remus. The once hostile tension had softened into shared understanding, born out of the crucible of truth and forgiveness.
Navigating the complexities of the ship's dynamics, you found comfort in Remus's company. Late-night conversations beneath the starlit sky became a ritual, the creaking of the ship and the distant sound of waves forming the backdrop to shared confidences.
The crew, initially shocked by the revelation of your true identity as a woman, gradually came to terms with the unexpected twist. Assumptions shattered like glass as they witnessed the strength and resilience that Sterling, now revealed as a woman named Y/N, brought to the crew. Remus, in a display of unwavering leadership, ensured that the crew embraced the newfound truth.
Confronting the crew with your identity was a daunting task, but the revelation unfolded with surprising acceptance. The once-divided ship, now united in understanding, sailed through the challenges of piracy with a newfound camaraderie. Laughter echoed on the deck, and the bonds of loyalty were reforged amidst shared stories and shared burdens.
Amidst the salty breeze and the sound of the sea, a sense of peace settled over the ship. The crew, once torn by internal strife, now stood as a testament to the resilience of human connection. James, Sirius, and the others, initially taken aback, extended their acceptance and support, sealing the wounds of mistrust with gestures of togetherness.
The lingering presence of Peter Pettigrew, the catalyst for the tumultuous events that had unfolded, remained like a shadow on the horizon. In a twist of poetic justice, the crew, fueled by a shared desire for retribution, concocted a plan to bring Peter to justice. The tables turned as the once-manipulator found himself at the mercy of the very crew he had deceived.
The confrontation with Peter unfolded with a satisfying sense of closure, his machinations exposed and his fate left to the mercy of the sea. The crew, now bound by a newfound unity, watched as the tides of justice ebbed and flowed, carrying away the remnants of a past tainted by betrayal.
As the ship sailed through the moonlit waves, Remus guided you to the quiet corner of the deck where the sea breeze carried the scent of salt and adventure. The night sky stretched above, a canopy of stars reflecting in both your eyes. In the tranquil embrace of the open sea, the unspoken connection between you and Remus unfolded like a delicate dance.
Remus's gaze, soft and searching, met yours as he cupped your cheek with a rough yet gentle hand. The rhythmic sound of the waves provided a backdrop to the moment, the ship swaying beneath you in a dance with the ocean. A shared understanding passed between you, a recognition of the trials overcome and the promise of a new beginning.
In that quiet space, beneath the celestial tapestry, Remus leaned in. His lips, warm and tender, met yours in a kiss that spoke of forgiveness, redemption, and the uncharted journey that lay ahead. The world faded away, leaving only the sensation of his touch and the heartbeat that resonated between you.
Time seemed to stand still as the kiss lingered, a silent promise sealed in the gentle meeting of lips. It was a moment of connection, a bridge between the turbulent past and the uncertain future. The sea, bearing witness to the blossoming love, whispered its approval in the rustle of the sails and the lull of the waves.
As you pulled away, the moonlight reflected in Remus's eyes mirrored the shared emotions that hung in the air. The ship sailed on, carrying with it the resonance of a kiss that marked the beginning of a new chapter—a chapter written on the vast canvas of the open sea, where love and adventure intertwined in the flow of the tide.

“Y/n?” you heard a whisper of your name. You slowly sat up, rubbing your eyes with your hands tiredly, you let them adapt to the dark environment and finally saw a shadow in front of you, the cons of sleeping with your window open.
You squinted your eyes, trying to figure out who could it be “Sirius?” you asked, confused to see him in your room when you were on summer break. As you got up your remembered he was supposed to be in his own house, with his parents.
Worried, you came by his side, cupping his face between your hands “What’s wrong?” Sirius could only let out a sob, wrapping his arms around you, resting his cheek at the top of your head and letting the tears fall from his eyes to your hair.
His silence alarmed you more than anything, you gently pulled away and could only remark the way he winced when you touched his chest “Sirius…” you took a closer look at his face, and saw the blood at the corner of his mouth. You gasped, your finger tracing a big scratch on his cheek.
You gave him time to speak “I tried to talk to them… I really did” he broke down into tears and you felt your heart shatter inside your chest. Sirius was the type to let other people see when something was wrong, you wonder how hard what he went through was to accept to let you see him this weak.
You had to take a deep breath and you were worried to cry in front of him, you couldn’t right now you had to be strong for him like he always did for you. “What did they do to you?” you felt tears on the verge of your eyes and hoped really really hard they wouldn’t fall.
Sirius didn’t say anything and just looked at you with a sad smile “We need to get you clean up” you tried to hide the trembling of your voice as you spoke, as carefully as you could brushing a strand of hair out of Sirius’ face.
“But- What about your parents?” You were in the middle of the night and he didn’t want the noise to wake them up. But to be honest he was more worried about them finding him covered in bruises and wounds and asking themselves what kind of friend he was to their daughter.
You looked at him as if he said the most stupid thing ever “They don’t care, we have a bigger problem” you pointed at his blood-stained shirt, not wanting to know what it was hiding.
You took his hand in yours and dragged him to your bathroom, making him sit down on the toilet “Sirius…” you looked down at him and had to stop yourself from screaming as you saw him under the light.
He looked miserable, he had a scratch on his cheek and looked like he had been punched. And he seemed so so exhausted and tired.
Your hands came to the top button of his shirt “Can I take this off?” Sirius nodded, looking absently at the tilled wall in front of him. Carefully, you took off his white shirt, staring at the biggest bloodstain.
The clothe fell off and you could see the extent of the damage. With watering eyes, you searched for what you needed to clean him. “It’s going to sting a bit I’m sorry” Sirius didn’t even reacted, he just spaced out.
It’s in a heavy silence that you cleaned and disinfected his wounds, you tried to be as gentle as possible but Sirius still winced every time the cotton disk met his skin.
“It’s over” you murmured, observing he was tired and was almost falling asleep in your bathroom. You guided him to your bedroom, letting him steady himself on you as you both walked.
He laid down on your bed, exhausted, you sat next to him and grabbed his hand, stroking his skin with your thumb “ Are you okay?”
“Better now” you brushed his hair out of his face and leaned in to leave a small kiss to his forehead, he could feel warmth embrace his entire face. You got up, you were going to sleep on the couch to let him rest “Can you stay? Please?”
You stopped. You couldn’t resist and slipped under the cover next to him, he got closer to you, resting his head on your chest as he wrapped his arms around your waist “Thank you so much” Sirius’ voice quivered as he buried his head in your neck, crying silently.
There was a question that was burning your mouth since the beginning “W-why did you came here?” you hated how you made it sound, it sound like you were reaproching him to find safety by your side.
Sirius lifted his head, confused “I- I mean- I thought you would prefer going to James’” which was true, you didn’t get why he didn’t make his way to the Potter’s house, his best friend and almost brother, especially since it was closer to the Black’s mansion than yours was.
Sirius offered you a soft smile “You’re the first person I thought about when I told myself I needed to be safe. Not James or Remus or whoever, you” if you were able to keep your tears before, you were crying now. Your hand came behind his head, pushing his face in the crook of your neck, keeping him as close as you could.
“Thank you for trusting me. I love you Sirius, I really do. I couldn’t handle seeing you hurt again” Sirius was crying as much as you were, he never needed more to hear someone loved him, it wasn’t an exaggeration to say he had a brush with death tonight.
“I love you too” he didn’t know if you said it romantically or not, he wished you did, but he couldn’t care right now. He hoped you knew how much you meant to him, you were his everything, and he was glad he was able to finally find peace by your side.
Sirius quickly drifted away, clutching at you for the rest of the night. When you woke up the boy was still asleep next to you, you looked down at him, loving how peaceful he looked compared to a few hours ago, the bruises were still visible on his chest but they were less swollen, you were glad he was less in pain.
Carefully, you got up and made your way to the kitchen, hoping to make breakfast before Sirius would wake up. On the counter you saw a paper note of your parents telling you they wouldn’t be home soon, they wanted to spend the day doing second-hand goods in the neighbouring villages.
It’s relaxed that you started cooking scrambled eggs, but unfortunately it didn’t last long. Soon a scream resonated in the house, you rushed to your room and found there a panting and sweating Sirius “What’s wrong?” you asked panicked as you sat next to him, quickly pulling him into a tight hug.
Sirius couldn’t help but cry “I woke up alone, I was so scared. Thought I was back there” he murmured in your neck, truly panicked.
“I’m so sorry” you apologized again and again until Sirius was calmed down. “I made breakfast” as you said this, you realised how your eggs are probably burning down the kitchen. “Oh shit”
You rushed down the stairs, wiggling your hand in front of you to make your way through the dark smoke, Sirius following you behind. When everything was secured he rested his hand on your shoulder “I’m sorry it’s my fault”
You turned around, pressing your finger on his chest, making sure he wasn’t injured there “Hey! Don’t you dare thinking it’s your fault. I would burn a thousands eggs for you, okay?” you tone was firm and convincing enough that Sirius knew he could never apologize for this again.
“Okay” he chuckled. He looked around, the smoke leaving the room by the window. He glanced at the box of eggs, there were four left “Let’s make breakfast!”
In this moment, his family was the least thing in his mind. All he was thinking was making the best scrambled eggs you ever had, hoping it could make you forget the burned ones.
He started to cook and felt your stare on him “What?” he asked with a smile. You hated that you found him so boyfriend, cooking shirtless in your kitchen when you weren’t even together, you didn’t even know if he liked you.
But this time you let your intrusive thoughts win, leaning forward to capture his lips in a long kiss you didn’t want to break until he was pulling away. But for you delight he didn’t wait before kissing you back.
“Woah,” he said when he broke the embrace. You felt your entire face turning hot, regretting your move for a second, fortunately, Sirius reassured you quickly “You have the best way to make my life better” he said before kissing you again.

„Yeah love?
- some deep desire you want to tell me?“
Paring: young Sirius Black x reader
Warnings: includes smut –> teasing, kissing, sex and a very annoying James Potter
also, English is not my first language and I’m doing my best, so please be patient with me and be warned :)
Word count: 3643
Summary: while history of magic got a bit boring Sirius and you didn’t pay attention at all. So it leads to a bit teasing in class. But finally as class ended everything didn‘t work as planned.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My fingertips slide along his tights over to his lap. „Aw someone’s needy“ Sirius exclaimed smirking with a sugar sweet voice. He raised his hand to grab a strand of my y/h/c hair, so he could play with it. His eyes followed every single action his fingers did. I already knew what he was up to which made me breath in sharp. „You might not want to start something you can’t finish“ he said now looking directly into my eyes. I shivered as I hold my breath. This influence he had towards me was a curse and blessing together. „Who say I can’t finish this?“ I whispered as my glance travelled along his face. „Well- “ he smirked and put his distinctive Sirius Black look on. As professor Binns raised his voice again Sirius turned his gaze forward.
But I knew he didn’t pay attention. How could he? Slowly I guided my fingertips along his thighs and over to his mid again. A smile played around my lips as he took unnoticed a deep breath in, to control himself. Suddenly, as his fingers let go of my hair and traveled down to grab my thigh, I bite my lower lip. A well known feeling appeared in my stomach, as his hand traveled up even more. The teasing was amusing.
Until Sirius hand reached my mid. Now it was my turn to stay in control. I sighted slightly, at the loss of his touch while his hands traveled down at the inside of my thighs. He chuckled at my reaction. He played it cool, but I could see in his gaze how much my little teasing affected him, like his did me. As I got lost in my thoughts, my fingertips slid from his thighs over to his mid a bit to harsh. In the suddenly new action a moan escaped his throat. He bit his lower lip, the moment he released what happened. I suppressed a laugher. Than my gaze flew carefully around the classroom. Everybody seems to mind their own business. If somebody had heard us then the two in front of us.
James sat now, after he had to swap seats with me as a punishment last week, right in front of us, next to Lily. Professor Binns thought James and Sirius would be more concentrated if they wouldn’t sit next to each other. How wrong he was...
Neither James nor Sirius nor me were now paying attention in his class. The only one who did was Lily. But how could it be otherwise.
I exchanged a nervous gaze with Sirius. He looked a little bit shocked but now a mischievously grin appeared on this lips. Non of the two in front of us seemed to know what happen a seat behind them. Lily starred strait at the board where Professor Binns stud, every now and then she added something to her parchment. James leaned in his seat facing her, not paying attention to anything except her. I sighted in relief.
But the next moment a shiver ran down my back as I saw Peter staring at us. I nudged Sirius, who didn’t noticed the same I did. One of his hands already started to play with my hair again, the other tightened his grip around my thigh. „Hm?“ he asked thoughtlessly. Then his gaze followed mine. Peter sat next to Remus, a seat near Lily and James. „What?“ Sirius mouthed questioning as if nothing happened. Peter turned around to look at Professor Binns before he started to mouth an answer. „What the hell?“ I whispered confused „I literally didn’t understand one word“. „Me neighter“ Sirius hissed concentrated. I rolled my eyes not sure if he really hadn’t understood. „If you have it, give a word“ I uttered, while my fingertips travelled playfully up and down his thighs again. But now Sirius didn’t seem to care either, about what Peter had said. His eyes already searched up my face and followed every little move I made.
The moment professor Binns ended class, Sirius stud up abruptly. I looked up at him grinning. „Y/n, can we please go“ he than begged wispering as I didn’t move. The expression on my face got more amused. „Now“ he declared emphatically. „Sure“ I nodded as I took his reached out hand. „Hey, where are you two going?“ Remus asked interested as Sirius was about to hurry out the classroom. „I thought you said you would be learning after class...“ he mentioned. Sirius cleared his throat. „How are we supposed to do our essays without books, my dearest moony?“ he assured. Remus raised an eyebrow. „Actually I was talking to y/n...“ he than informed Sirius. I giggled. „But good for you if you do something too, pads“ he laughed „I don’t want to help you again, the evening before the essay has to be finished“. Sirius intertwined our fingers while waiting impatiently and searched for my glance. „Fine than Sirius and I will go upstairs and grab our books... we‘ll see you after in the common room, okay?“ I listed. Remus nodded. „Oh but I will join you a bit later, because I promised Professor McGonagall to tutor a few third years...“ he reminded. „Yeah me too“ Lily added. „Just the best of the best“ James joked appreciatively. Lily rolled her eyes annoyed. „Shut it Potter“ her voice nearly cold. I exchanged an amused gaze with the others. „Maybe James said more than enough this period of professor Binns class“ I speculated grinning. „Of course he did“ Peter confirmed. James made a face towards us visibly annoyed.
„Okay than see you later guys“ Sirius smirked as everyone of us went their own way in the hallways. Around the next corner he crashed his lips into mine and pinned me against the wall. His lips placing kisses along my jaw down my neck. „Sirius“ I managed to say „we can’t stay here“. I giggled while I pushed him away slightly.
Harshly he pulled me in for a kiss. His hungry lips crahed into mine. I sighted into his mouth as he pulled me closer and guided me on his lap, while he sat himself down on his bed. His hands cared along my back until they were placed on my waist. I could already feel the heat coming up in my stomach. My fingertips traveled along his chest enjoying every moment of it. Than they reached their well known place in Sirius soft hair. He broke the connection of our kiss breathlessly. „So needy today, hun?“ I asked mischievously. „Oh yeah“ he exclaimed grinning before he closed hungry the space between us again. Now slipping his tongue into my mouth. Both of us fought over dominance. But the moment my mid stoke against his, he sighted. Which let my take control for once. I laughed into the kiss. Yeah, he was really needy today. A miracle how he managed class like this. The moment I started unbuttoning his shirt, the door was opened. I winced by the sudden interruption. Sirius sighted at the loss of my touch. „Oi, did everything ends up with you two making out?“ James shouted over as he entered the dorm. Only now Sirius opened his eyes in confusion. He hadn’t realized that his best mate had entered the room, until his own moans were replaced with the joking voice of James Potter. I cleared my throat. „Is this a rhetorical question or do we have to answer this?“ I asked trying to sound amused. James laughed as he dropped himself on his bed. Sirius chuckled at my answer. „I thought you two just wanted to grab something... and I thought you didn’t meant an orgasm“ James joked. „Well... Luckily we don’t have to do it on our own, like other people in this room“ Sirius replied cocky. I chuckled. James just starred at us for a few seconds instead of answering. Then the room went silent, until Sirius raised his voice again. „What exactly are you doing here prongs?“ he questioned reproachful, now looking at James. „Oh nothing special... I just live here“ James answered while getting comfortable in his bed. It didn’t seemed as if he would leave soon. I sighted as I was about to get up from Sirius lap. But as he didn’t removed his hands from my waist I was forced to stay there. He bite his lower lip and growled slightly, as I bumped into his lap again.
„James, don’t you have to do something else than laying in bed? For example planning how to ask Lily out? Or by Merlin just doing your essays?“ I asked as I looked up at him. „No... to be honest“ James started and continued with a waterfall of words. But I didn’t listened. I couldn’t even manage to catch a clear thought. „Bloody hell, prongs just bugger off“ Sirius interrupted him annoyed. James looked at him in surprise.
„Okay, now that you two don’t want my company either“ he than said pouting while he was about to stand up from his bed. But suddenly he paused his doing. „But you know what? Only because you two where here first you can’t tell me not to be here“ he ended his sentence. „What?“ Sirius gasped. „Oh hell... bad day“ I uttered more to Sirius addressed than to James, who answered instead „Yeah even I have a bad day sometimes“. I sighted while covering my face with my palms. „I bet now comes the fucking story?“ Sirius barked. „Yes because you asked so nicely, padfoot...“ James assured grinning sarcastically. „What did I do to deserve this today??“ Sirius expressed dramatically. „Oh come on... I’m not that boring. Plus I will make it short for you“ James declared „but don’t be in such a bad mood pads, otherwise y/n will probably search for a new guy to have fun with...“. „Oh I want to see your mood, if you would lay in bed with lily, snogging and I would come in and tell a story nobody wants to here...“ Sirius mumbled aggressively, holding himself back. „If this will happen I‘ll remind you“ James challenged eyebrows raising. „For sure“ Sirius replied while letting his head sink back into the pillows „just continue with your story time so we can finish what we were up to“. James didn't have to be asked twice.
„Could you just sit still?“ Sirius hissed through clinched teeth. „Hm?“ I hummed questioning not getting what he wanted. „You’re sitting very comfortable on my dick“ he whispered „and if you‘re moving, it drives me this kind of crazy...“. He broke up his sentence. But he didn’t have to finish it, the heat in my stomach already started burning at his words. „And if you won’t stop I can’t hold myself back any longer... and than it might happen that I just don’t care about prongs on the bed next to us“ he declared while his voice got more and more mischievously. „I‘m sorry“ I said smirking with an excusing expression on my face. „But sitting still dives me crazy“ I admitted as I tried not to move. Now Sirius started grinning at me „I think you‘re very needy too“. „Maybe“ I whispered smirking. For a moment Sirius went quiet as he glared over to James, who gestured wildly while talking about this and that, lily here and lily there, quidditch and class and so on. „Slowly I begin to just don’t fucking care how bad his day was because he is just about to ruin my day too“ Sirius exclaimed growling. „As if you ever cared within the last ten minutes?“ I announced „He talked about I-don’t-know-what longer than I heard professor Binns today in class“. Sirius nodded. „how selfish...“ was the last thing I heard from him, than now James loudly started to plan a new idea about how I cloud help him with lily so that he would be the guy who is snogging in this dorm. And suddenly I heard myself raising my voice and interrupting them both. „James just shut the fuck up“ I shouted. It went silent and James looked at me in shock. „In the moment I really don’t care“ I growled „you know, I can handle much, okay? But this is clearly to much... you can’t just come in here while you saw us snogging and report how bad your day was while I have to sit on Sirius boner and have to listen to your bullshit“. Sirius opened his mouth but closed it again without admiring some of his sassy comments. James stared at me for a second and than just started laughing. My face fell. Now I was the one who stared at him in disbelief. „What’s your fucking problem today, prongs?“ Sirius questioned irritated. „Just get out of here... now“ he added growling while gestured wildly. James lifted himself up from his bed, still laughing, and walked over to the door. He slammed against the frame while he opened. „How long did I make it?“ he asked now. „What the fuck“ Sirius exclaimed as he sat himself up. Than Peters voice was heard „doesn’t matter. You won“. „Yesss“ James cheered. „What-“ I turned around to make sure I understand right what happened. A bit to fast, I noticed, as Sirius moaned slightly. I suppressed a laugher. „Ow you will get this back, believe me“ Sirius hissed towards me. „Yeah? Prove me“ I challenged. „I would love to“ Sirius smirked with a raspy voice. My stomach clinged at the tone of his voice.
For a second I totally forgot my anger until James addressed his speak to us. Again. „I clearly have to say sorry“ he announced. „What?“ I asked now in more than just disbelief. In James’ face no sign of sorry. „Wormy and I made a bet, as the two of you were in here for so long. That’s why I had to give you two my company as long as I could“ he explained mischievously. I raised my eyebrows at his explanation. Not able to find words for this. „I will kill you, Potter“ Sirius growled through clinched teeth „I will kill you both after this“. James grin disappeared but in his eyes a shine of amusement as he raised his eyebrows appreciative. „And that’s the moment where we have to leave“ he than announced and bowed „much fun you two“. „You deserve it“ Peter added grinning before he closed the door behind him. „Yeah better leave“ Sirius affirmed. „You own me your poisons essay, wormtail“ James informed Peter while their steps became more quiet in the hallway.
Still not sure what just happened, I turned back to face Sirius again. His expression relaxing while they formed a choky grin as he locked eyes with me. His eyes searching in mine while he stroked a strand of my hair behind my ear. I took a deep breath and felt my body began relaxing too. „What a pair of idiots“ I sighted nearly soft as I got lost in Sirius dark gray eyes. „Yeah“ he hummed. His face only millimeters away from mine. I closed the last space between us and pressed my lips against his. The kiss started soft but got more intense with every second. My hands at their so familiar place in Sirius hair. He let his tongue slid along my lips to beg silently for inlet. I opened my mouth as I sighted. Now welcoming his sweet taste. I adored it always, like it was the first time I could taste it. His hands disappeared under my shirt until they pulled it over my head. Then he began kissing down my jaw and neck as I unbuttoned his shirt and stroke it off. I moaned slightly as he nibbled on the sweet spot in my neck. I already knew tomorrow everyone would be able to see his work of art. But I didn’t care. Slowly I leaned into his chest which made him sank down into the mattress. The moment he felt the soft pillows in his back, he flipped me over, so he was on top. Sirius worked himself, with kisses and soft bites, down to my breasts. His hands traveled to the back of my bra as I arched my back. He freed my breast only to attack them with kisses and licks. I sighted enjoying. Now his eyes met mine. I swallowed hard against my dry throat. He hunched over me to connect our lips again. My hands around his neck while my fingers played with his hair. One of his hands slowly made the way down to my mid. The so long awaited touch made my whined. Sirius chuckled at my reaction. „Maybe now I can satisfy your desire“ he forewarned me. Before he slipped his hand underneath the fabric of my skirt and slip. I moaned out at the unexpected touch. His long fingers parted my folds and slided over my clit. „Already so wet for me, love?“ he asked while pulling back his hand only to get rid of my clothes. The sudden cold let me shiver. But with the bare touch on my tights, while he parted them, the heat in my stomach came up again. Then he began placing kisses from my breasts down to my mid. A few millimeters before he reached the place I needed him the most, he stopped. I sighted at the loss of touch, only to whined as he suddenly placed his thumb on my clit. „Sirius“ I whimpered as he didn’t move. „Yeah love?“ he asked innocently „some deep desire you want to tell me?“. My hips begann to move slightly. But this made him only press his thumb harder against me. I was about to say something as he suddenly rubbed his thumb at my clit. I moaned out at his fast movements, not able to form words. Nearly a moment before I thought I would reach a high he stopped and took a long, slow lick against my entrance and clit. I catch breath barely. „I promised you, you will pay for that sooner or later“ he admitted with a grin. „Sure“ I breathed out while I let my head fell back. But in the next moment he parted my folds again and licked along them. A moan escaped my throat. His licks got shorter with every moment. My hand traveled down and grabbed a handful of Sirius dark hair. The heat in my stomach grew bigger and bigger. But every time I was about to get over the high, Sirius stopped his doing and found something new to tease me with. Now without warning he slides his middlefinger into me. I moaned out his name, as he continued licking while his finger started bumping into me. He added a second finger which made me whine out even more. „You’re so tight as always“ he mumbled soft against me while he circled his fingers inside me.
„You think you can handle me already, love?“ he asked after a few more thrusts. I nodded, as he looked up to meet my eyes. I pulled his face up to mine for a kiss. The softness from his lips calmed my body down. I fiddled on his trousers until I pulled them and his boxers down. Slowly I tangled my fingers around his chock. While he started moaning into the kiss. After a few movements of mine, he broke the connection of our lips to take a deep breath. I smiled soft as I admired him while he moaned out my name. „Already showing me what your beautiful hands can do for me...“ he announced whispering. As I got a bit faster his breathing got shorter. But the moment before he could reach his high, he grabbed my wrist and guided my hand to his lips. Only to place a kiss to the back of my hand. Now he hunched over me, his face millimeters away from mine. Then his tip stroke against my entrance as he locked eyes with me. I whined out, the moment he gently bumped his first thrust into me, while he moaned a slow and raspy „fuck“. His rhythm became faster as the moans got louder. Sirius‘ hand traveled down my body until he reached my clit. I whined out as he began circling around it. I reached every few seconds a new high. Quickly his circles against my clit became rubs. Together with his thrusts, I was about to drove crazy. I arched my back while I felt the heat in my stomach grew overwhelming. „Sirius“ I whimpered „I- I‘m…“. „Shht it’s okay love“ he whispered in my ear „Come for me. Come all over me“. His words gave me the final push. I felt the heat floating through my whole body and my legs started trembling a bit. My mid clinched around him. Which made Sirius moan out my name while he sat his final thrust. His chest now sinking into mine and his face buried into the crock of my neck. His arms tangled around me, pulling me closer. While my hands placed in his hair, softly stroking through it. I closed my eyes enjoying while I catched breath again. His sweet scent all around me.
After a few moments Sirius rolled over to his back and pulled me with him. Now my head rested on his chest. With my eyes closed again I relished his calm breathing and his fingers which played with my hair. „Y/n?“ he softly asked. „Mhm?“ I hummed nearly half asleep. He chuckled slightly at my response. „I really love you“ Sirius admitted „I hope you know that“. I smiled and looked up to meet his eyes. „I know... and I love you even more, better keep that in mind“ I whispered.

Out of Place Together
University Remus x Male Reader
Part 1 - (Next Chapter)
Summary: An academia-core themed story about the Marauders during their final year of university in the Muggle world. Soon after meeting each other  Remus begins to fall for one of Sirius' friends Y/N another shy student.
TW: Minor mention of drug use
---------------------------
It's a cold clear night in February, the ink blue sky contrasts against the bright half moon illuminating the grey clouds moving along in the night. This was the view that Y/N observed as he leaned out of the bathroom window of the third story house he was in. Throbbing base music could be heard from the ground floor below which filled Y/N with dread. He had woefully dragged himself to this party despite knowing he wasn't going to have a good time, from fear his friends would stop inviting him to gatherings if he declined again. Y/N felt utterly out of place at parties and preferred the peaceful atmosphere of one on one conversations. While Y/N was debating how long he could stay in the bathroom before others began to notice, he heard a loud familiar voice from downstairs.
The flamboyant presents of his dear friend Sirius entering the party brought Y/N comfort as he made his way down the stairs. As soon as they both made eye contact Sirius knew his friend was not enjoying himself. "You look like your having a terrible time" Sirius smirked as he reached Y/N half way up the stairs. "What could possible given that away" Y/N replied sarcastically fidgeting with the paper cup full of water he had in his hand. Sirius laughed heartily and brushed his fingers through his thick black hair "come on, we're getting out of here!" before Y/N could protest Sirius had grabbed his wrist and began pulling him towards the front door. "Sirius! The fuck man your leaving. You literally just got here!" cried out a annoyed voice from the living room as they passed by. "Well you know what they say" Sirius chimed back "The best people always leave the party first because they have somewhere better to be" and with that both men stumbled out of the door and down the street.
Y/N had first met Sirius when they had originally been on the same course together. During first year Sirius had bounced around several courses before finally settling on Psychology, which Y/N had in fact suggested. Despite no longer being on the same course the two maintained a close friendship and Sirius was always coming to Y/N with student drama or stories of his nights out as they had a smoke behind the library. Y/N appreciated his friendship with Sirius because even though he was a beaming socialite he never forced Y/N to be the same and liked Y/N for the quiet person he was. Both men's boots echoed down the stone street as they approached the city centre.
"Honestly I'm surprised you made it over an hour at that party in the first place" laughed Sirus as he linked his arm through Y/N's. "You and me both." mumbled Y/N "Where are we going anyway?". Swiftly Sirius turned the corner and they began to make there way towards a pub with big wooden doors and warm light glowing from the frosted windows. "My housemates are hanging out here tonight, figured you'd like a more chill scene. You've met them before right?". Inside the pub was warm and full of small groups of friends huddle around tables chatting and drinking, it was much easier to hear others and the lack of horrible house music made Y/N feel more at ease. They made their way to a corner booth were a couple was cosily chatting. Y/N had met Sirius housemate James and his girlfriend Lily several times and found them both great company. He found James' sheer confidence in admitting he only took philosophy because it was the same course Lily was taking both ridiculous and charming. Everyone was amazed he had not been kicked off the course yet considering he spent all his time playing rugby or hanging out in pubs with them, nevertheless every time an essay was due as if by magic, which James always said with a wink, he was able to produce a passing grade.
The four of them spent an enjoyable hour catching up before Sirius' other housemate made an abrupt appearance. Y/N didn't know Peter as well as the others, to be honest he was a little put off by the short blonde. Peter was taking economics as far as Y/N could remember or possibly media studies, it was impossible to get a straight answer from him. Sirius and James insist that back in school Peter was your typical nerdy wimp but after they all came to university he started hanging out with the 'wrong crowd' as they put it. He spent most of his nights out and slept throughout the day as well as taking a far amount of drugs which Y/N assumed was the case now as Peter suddenly appeared 'back from the bathroom' with wide eyes and during the next hour of conversation he was sniffing and rubbing his nose repeatedly. Sirus and James said they did there best to keep an eye on him but Y/N could see the mild concern behind there eyes. Regardless the evening carried on joyously, time slipping by like silk. Before too long Y/N found himself swaying down the empty road with the group towards the boys shared house, Sirius insisted that he crashed on their sofa tonight instead of walking all the way across town to his own place.
The house was filled with giggling and shushing as the all clumsy made their way through the door. James and Lily quickly took themselves off to bed and Y/N made his way to the dark living room as Sirus fumbled around trying to find some blankets. Flopping on the sofa Y/N was met with a significantly more rigid and hard impact then he was expecting. The sofa was littered with books which he rather unceremoniously pushed off into the floor, "Oh yeah sorry about that, those are all Remus' " Sirius called out from the hallway. "Oh yeah .. your other other housemate" Y/N sighed as he began to curl up like a cat on the now book free sofa. He had actually never met Sirius' other other housemate, just heard his name in passing, but in his current state this thought didn't weigh his mind long. Gliding in with several blankets hanging off his shoulders like a cape Sirius then billowed them up into the air before letting them settle over Y/N's body, "You sleep well buddy" Sirius began to walk out of the room and then Y/N's arms shot out of the pile of blankets to hold his hand tightly "Thank you for taking me out tonight, I really appreciated it" Y/N said softly as he was falling asleep. Sirius smiled over his friend and gently squeezed his hand "Anytime Y/N. Sleep well, I'll see you in the morning".
As the sun rose the next day Y/N woke up with a shiver. Classic student house without heating. Feeling around in the floor and he found his socks and fleece which he promptly put back on before snuggling deep into the pile of blankets wrapped around him. They had forgotten to close the curtains the night before resulting in the room now flooding with light. It was unlikely for Y/N to be able to fall asleep again so he started to look around the now fully visible room. The typical staples of a student accommodation lay before him; a mismatch collection of film and band posters pinned to the wall, window seals with several half full bottles of varying spirits and what Y/N assumed to be James's and Lily's bikes prompt up behind the other sofa. Looking at the floor Y/N was taken back by the volume of books piled everywhere, considerably more then he had noticed the night before. Leaning down he was able to read a number of titles he himself had read; The Illiad, Dante's Inferno, Othello, Wuthering Heights. Whoever these belong to has excellent taste thought Y/N.
His investigation was cut short as he heard the sound of foot steps and clanging from the kitchen. Assuming either James or Sirus was up and about Y/N stretched, rising from the sofa and carefully making his way to the door without knocking over the miniature city skyline of books around him. Entering the kitchen Y/N was taken aback by a tall figure he did not recognise. The tall man was arched over the gas stove heating up the kettle, he wore a large oversized knitted jumper and bagging pajamas bottoms with knitted socks tucked into them. He had messy brown hair which dropped over his forehead and a mustache which he was pulling one corner of as he adjusted the temperature of the stove. Y/N gazed at him silently for a moment before forcing out an awkward "hello". The tall man turned his head around, a confused expressions left his face quickly as he gave a polite smile. Y/N could not help but drink in his deep blue eyes, 'fuck' he thought to himself 'this guy is incredibly handsome'. 'Hi' said the incredibly handsome man 'Your Sirius' friend right' he asked as he returned his attention back to the kettle. 'Umm yeah, I'm Y/N. I just crashed on the sofa last night after we went out' Y/N gingerly wondered to the shelf and pick up a mug with the intention to fill it with water. "Sirius should have said something, I would have moved all my books out of the way".  Upon saying this Y/N then becomes aware the towering man had a paperback also tucked into his pajama pocket, "All of those are yours?". "Hmm yeah well it's an occupational hazard which comes with being a English literature student" he said turning around slightly grinning. His smile felt completely sincere and kind and Y/N couldn't help but weakly smile back. "Impressive, I've read a good number of the ones I was able to see" Y/N leaned against the kitchen counter, oddly feeling both nervous and at ease in his strangers presents. "Well it's nice to finally meet someone with good taste" he said playfully looking down at Y/N. Their eyes stayed locked for a few seconds before a loud yarn could be heard coming through the kitchen doorway. A tired and dishevelled Sirius waddled in stretching and cracking his back as he did "Good morning, good morning. you sleep well Y/N?". "Hi pads" the other guy said briefly as he returned his attention to the now whistling kettle. Y/N placed his mug on the counter as Sirus came in to give him a big sleepy hug "Are you still going to keep your promise and taken me into town before you help me with studying?". "Only if you promise to read the whole chapter of cognitive behaviour for your class tomorrow!" Y/N chuckled as he ruffled his friends long hair. "Fine!" cries Sirius after a long groan "Come on let's get going then". "I need a cup of tea first but after that sure", Y/N folded his arms and laughed softly as he watched his dear friend lean into the fridge and start chugging some apple juice from the carton. "Well I'll see you guys later" called out a voice from the hall, turning around Y/N just caught a glimpse of the tall stranger disappearing into the hallway. "See you later Remus" Sirius called out in-between gulps of juice. Y/N's eyes then became aware of the rising steam which when looking down he saw was coming from the cup he has placed on the counter. Now full of hot water ready for him to place his tea bag in, he looked back up at the empty hallway. "So. That's Remus".

As the fire crackled in the hearth, the rain outside gently tapped against the windowpanes, adding to the ambiance of mystery that enveloped the room. The night moon cast a dim glow, its faint light seeping through the large window, casting elusive shadows upon the floor.

— In the dimly lit room, the soft caress of a breeze rustled the dark green curtains, hinting at a world beyond the shadows. A crumpled black blanket adorned the bed, while pillows lay scattered, bearing witness to an unknown turmoil that had unfolded within these walls.
Amidst the enigmatic ambiance, a haunting melody played softly, its origin concealed like a whisper in the wind. The figure of a young boy, his hair as dark and curly as the night, sat perched at the edge of the bed. His slim, pale fingers tangled together, a mystery in their own right, as they gripped his head, shielding it from prying eyes. His shoulders hunched, and subtle tremors ran through his body, like the echoes of secrets yearning to break free.

— Within the hushed confines of the classroom, a symphony of subtle sounds played in harmony. The occasional scratch of quills, the gentle creaking of chairs, the soft bubbling of cauldrons, and hushed whispers created an atmosphere of focused concentration.
In one corner, a boy stood, a mysterious figure obscured by long, greasy black hair that veiled his face like a curtain. His dark, intense eyes remained fixed on the bubbling potion before him, a cauldron filled with secrets waiting to be unlocked. Methodically, he stirred the concoction, his movements deliberate and purposeful as he added ingredients with quiet precision.
Amidst the ambiance of academia, a soft song played discreetly in the background, the student having sought permission from the professor. The melody floated through the air, its gentle rhythm blending seamlessly with the subdued sounds of the classroom. Soft lyrics whispered in the boy's ears.

REMUS LUPIN
Friday, 30th of September 1977
I watched the Professor talk, but I didn’t really listen. It was a few days after the full moon, and my muscles were still sore - although not as sore as they used to be, before the others helped me through the transformations. I was still a bit out of it, so I supposed it was fair that I was struggling to pay attention.
My mind wandered back to the day of the lake, two weeks ago. I remembered Y/n’s smile – and her scream as Regulus tackled her into the water. I involuntarily smiled at the memory.
“And for homework, a foot of parchment on the theory of Vanishing and Conjuring objects,” Professor McGonagall said.
Everyone began to pack up and I followed suit, putting my ink and quill as well as my books into my bag. James, Peter, and Sirius ran out of the classroom, and I rolled my eyes, deciding to walk with Lily instead.
“Are you alright?” Lily asked quietly once we were in the hall. “I saw you zone out… was this full moon rough?”
Lily had known about my ‘furry little problem’, as James liked to put it, for almost a year now. She’d always been a smart girl, and in our fourth year she'd figured it out. She'd always been kind and accepting about it, like she was with everything. It was something I admired and loved about her.
“I’m just a bit tired,” I admitted. “It wasn’t too rough.”
Lily eyed me warily and linked our arms. I sighed and walked with her back to the common room, joining the boys on the couch. James playfully narrowed his eyes and Lily and my linked arms, and I rolled my own at him. My relationship with her was nothing like that, and James knew that. Even though he and Sirius liked to say I was the 'Casanova of Gryffindor Tower'. Which I was not.
“Next week is the first Hogsmeade trip,” Lily said casually. “What are we doing?”
“You – you’re coming with us?” James asked incredulously.
“Might as well,” Lily said with a shrug. “Mary and Marlene are going off together, so…”
I watched as James’s eyes widened, and Sirius grinned. Peter smiled, his head whipping between Lily and James.
“Well, erm…” James started when he remembered Lily had asked a question, “we usually go to Zonko’s first, then Honeydukes. They’re both necessary stops.” The rest of us nodded, and James continued, “Then we usually just hang out, maybe go to the Three Broomsticks.”
“Sounds like fun,” Lily said with a smile.
James smiled at her like a lovesick puppy, and I refrained from rolling my eyes again. I unlinked my arm from Lily’s with a small smile.
“I gotta go start the homework,” I said. “I’ll meet you all at Potions, yeah?”
There was a chorus of agreements and goodbyes, and I grabbed my bag and headed to the library. As soon as I entered the library, I walked over to the rows of desks, and stopped short when I saw Y/n scribbling on a piece of parchment, looking at the book beside her every now and then. I took a deep breath (I wasn’t exactly sure why I needed to) before walking over.
“Hi,” I greeted.
Y/n jumped, nearly knocking her ink pot over. She looked up and made eye-contact before her eyes widened and darted away.
“Oh, Remus, um… hi,” she said nervously.
“What’re you working on?” I asked.
“Oh, um… Transfiguration homework,” she replied. She was silent for a moment, before you cleared her throat and gestured to the chair opposite her. “Do you… um, do you wanna take a seat?”
I nodded and sat opposite her, pulling my Transfiguration books out of my bag.
“I’m also working on my Transfiguration stuff,” I remarked. “Vanishing and Conjuring theory.”
Y/n laughed, sounding a little bit nervous, and smiled at me. Before I could get another word in, Regulus Black walked over and sat beside her. He looked at me with his assessing grey eyes, as if trying to see beneath my skin. It made me a little uncomfortable.
“Lupin,” he said quietly with a nod.
“Black,” I replied politely.
There was another long moment of silence, in which Y/n looked between Regulus and I.
“Er… Regulus is helping me with my homework,” she supplied.
“It’s not going so well, since we both kind of suck at it,” Regulus muttered, reading over Y/n’s book.
“I could help, if you’d like,” I offered.
Y/n looked at me in surprise.
“Really?” she asked.
“Yeah,” I replied. “I’m… er… I know a lot about Transfiguration.”
Y/n smiled at me, while Regulus just looked between the two of us curiously. The bell rang, letting us know that we had to go to our next class. I hastily packed my things into my bag, Y/n and Regulus doing the same.
“See you later, Reg,” Y/n said, waving to the Slytherin boy.
He waved back and arched an eyebrow, causing Y/n to flip him off. He made a kissy face at her and she rolled her eyes but smiled, and I looked at her curiously. She noticed my stare, causing her to raise an eyebrow.
"What?" she prompted.
"Are you two - are you two... er... seeing each other?" I asked.
Surprise washed over Y/n's face, and I found myself almost anxious for the answer.
She shook her head, and I felt relief wash over me. "He's like a brother to me."
We walked together to the dungeons for our Potions lesson, talking about small things, like our day and subjects. It was nice having a friend outside the group of Gryffindors I knew. Y/n wasn’t all that rowdy like the others, and it was nice to have a break from all of that.
We arrived at the Potions classroom, and Slughorn wasn’t there yet. Y/n and I walked over to Lily and the others, who were all talking, and I noted that Mary and Marlene weren’t there yet either.
“Hey, Y/n,” Lily said brightly.
Y/n smiled at the ginger and said hello back. I noticed that neither James nor Sirius greeted her, but Peter gave her a small smile. Y/n smiled back warily. I’d noticed that Y/n acted cautiously around us all. I supposed it was logical as we were all Gryffindors and she was a Slytherin, and maybe she had some trust issues surrounding that, which was fair enough. I mean, James and Sirius had hexed their fair share of Slytherins during their time here at Hogwarts, but Slytherins had hexed enough Gryffindors for it to be almost justifiable. Almost.
“Are you doing anything during the Hogsmeade weekend?” Lily asked Y/n.
“Er… well, Reg and I usually just go together, and I guess we are this weekend as well,” she replied nervously.
I noticed that Sirius’s eyes guttered slightly at the mention of his younger brother. Sirius wasn’t the type of guy who liked talking about his emotions, but there had been a few late, late nights where he’d poured his heart out to James, Peter, and me. Told us of all the things he and his brother had gotten up to in their youth, and how much he missed him. And how he thought that his brother was stupid for trying to joining the Dark Lord.
After briefly hanging out with Regulus with Y/n, I’d had time to form my own opinion of him. He honestly didn’t seem like the type to want to join the Dark Lord, but I supposed I didn’t entirely know him well enough to come to my own conclusions just yet.
“Well, you two could join us,” Lily offered. “We’re all just going to go to Honeydukes and the Three Broomsticks.”
“And Zonko’s,” James and Sirius interjected in unison.
“Um… I’ll talk to Reg about it,” Y/n said as Slughorn arrived.
Slughorn let us into the classroom and he began the lesson without hesitation. Mary and Marlene arrived late, both of their hair a little messed up and their ties slightly askew. Slughorn raised an eyebrow at the two but let them sit down with only a, ‘don’t be late next time.’
The lesson was over pretty quickly, and then we were all heading to the Great Hall for lunch. Y/n walked off to the Slytherin table, and I looked after her for a moment before sitting down beside my friends.
“Evans, why’d you invite Malfoy and my brother, of all people, to Hogsmeade?” Sirius demanded.
Lily narrowed her eyes at him slightly.
“They’re my friends. Well, Y/n is, at least,” she amended when Sirius raised an eyebrow.
“But she’s a Malfoy,” Sirius retorted.
“And you’re a Black, but look at how you turned out,” Lily quipped.
Sirius sighed and flipped his hair over his shoulder in a dramatic gesture. “Touché. I am magnificent, aren’t I?”
Lily and I both rolled our eyes.
“Look, even though she’s a Malfoy, she’s nice. Nothing like her brother. Besides, don’t you want to… reconnect with your own brother?” Lily said carefully.
Sirius narrowed his eyes in reply, and moodily took a bite out of his lunch. I sighed, but I knew that yes, he did want to make amends, but he didn’t want his little brother to be a Death Eater.
“They can come,” was all Sirius mumbled.
“Thanks for your permission,” Lily scoffed sarcastically.

Remus wouldn’t let any of the marauders cheat off of his homework, no matter how much whining or arguing or flirting - in the case of Sirius - they tried. He would, however, be MORE than willing to help them do it themselves and sit with them in the library, explaining and demonstrating in order to encourage them to actually learn.
Ok maybe one time he may have given in to Sirius. ONE TIME.

summary : at one of the marauders after parties, you have a little too much to drink.
warnings : not proof read, major fluff
paring: remus lupin x fem!reader
Tumblr media
Remus had just performed a sold out concert with his fellow band mates — the Marauders. Now, he was at an after party, filled to the brim with groupies, celebrities, music producers, etc. But he only wanted to find you, to take you home and sleep.
He was exhausted and as much as he loved being famous and well known, Remus enjoyed performing and making music more than going to parties.
The sandy haired boy attempted to find you in the crowd, but alas could not. Where did you go? He thought, turning every corner as if it was a labyrinth. With every part of Sirius’ mansion, more people were in his way.
Meanwhile, Marlene, Dorcas, and Alice had taken you after the concert. The girls wanted to get to the after party as soon as possible. Alice had her hopes up to see the new A-list actor, Frank Longbottom. Marlene and Dorcas, already together and in the music industry themselves, promised to introduce the two.
While Alice was chatting up Frank, and Marlene and Dorcas were busy making out in a broom closet, you had gotten bored and missed Remus. So you indulged in a few drinks.
Stepping outside, the cold night air made Remus smile. Inside the house was hot and sticky. He smiled when he spotted you, a red solo cup in your hand. You were laughing and Remus walked towards you.
“Hey love,” he said, a hand going on the small of your back. You turned to him and smiled drunkenly.
“Remus!” You exclaimed, a crooked smile taking over your face. “I missed you so much! I’ve been looking for you since the concert ended!”
The boy could tell that you’d had a few drinks and we’re definitely not sober.
“I’ve been looking for you too Y/n,” he replied. “Want to head home?” He asked.
“No!” You whined, your head dropping. “Wanna stay and play beer pong!” You smiled.
Remus could never say no to you and especially wouldn’t say no to the cute smile you wore at the moment.
“Alright lovie, one round of beer pong and then I’m taking you home,” he said, compromising.
You nodded, it only being fair. “Oh alright,” you said, standing up and almost losing you balance. But not to worry, Remus was there to catch you in an instant.
“Are you sure you can play beer pong like this?” He asked with a little smirk. You pouted and looked a little annoyed. The crinkle on your forehead—that Remus adored — showed.
“Yes. I can play.” You insisted.
One round of beer pong later, you had sobered up some but not entirely. Remus was by your side the entire game, helping you decide which shots to make. Which James wasn’t very happy about, seeing as competitive he was. Frank and Alice were near the table but not big fans of the game, as they were too busy falling in love. James won the game, winning over a kiss from Lily.
At the end of the game you were beat and still a little drunk. You wanted to go home. As you were leaning against Remus for support, he looked down at you.
“I think we should head home love,” he said, grabbing you by the waist and picking you up into his arms. You nudged your head into his neck. “Alright, Remmy,” you mumbled tiredly.
Once in the car, you passed out. Remus laughed to himself at your drunken state, knowing full well you would be hung over in the morning.
“Come on love, we’re home,” he said, unbuckling your seat belt. You woke up, a bit drowsy and super clingy.
“I’m tried Remmy,” you pouted, leaning into his strong body. He wrapped his arms around you and led you into the house.
“We’re going to get you to bed lovie. Promise,” he said, kissing your forehead.
Once at your bedroom, Remus sat you down on your shared bed and helped you into your sleep clothes. He gave you a glass of water aswell. All the while, you reached out for Remus’ touch.
“Wanna hold you,” you pouted, already in your night clothes. Which consisted of one of Remus’ old sweaters and sleep shorts.
Remus undressed himself and hopped into bed just wearing his boxers. He pulled you to him immediately, waisting no time in holding you.
“Well maybe I wanna hold you?” He teased, kissing your hair.
You turned to him and smiled lazily, sleepiness coming over you. “You did so well tonight Remus. Greatest rockstar ever!” You said, kissing his nose.
Remus wrapped you tighter in his arms and kissed your forehead. “Thanks Y/n, performed for you and only you,” he said, looking at you like you were the only thing that mattered to him.
Because you were.

How The Marauders React To You... With Tea

Tumblr media
FEATURING: Snape, James, Sirius, Regulus, Lilly, Peter and Remus
James:
The first cup of tea you brewed was for James before he went out for his daily run, he had rushed into the great hall to give you a kiss on the cheek before he left but you grabbed him by the tie and pulled him into the seat next to you and quickly raised the cup to his lips. He took to scowling at the cup and reared his head, you waited for his childish tantrum to end and when he gave you a regardful glance out of the corner of his eye and saw you were nodding him on he took a sip.
He pulled back from the black tea and puckered his lips for a few seconds, savouring the sharp taste Assam tea had. You watched him dart his tongue out to lick the remnants off his lips while staring at your breakfast in front of you with creased brows, deciding if he liked it or not.
"What is it?" He asked as he gently grabbed the cup from you and looked into it as if expecting it to be some kind of potion.
"It's just tea", You laughed as he held the cup closer to his face, you felt the temptation to push his head into the cup come and go.
"It needs milk", He said, reaching for the milk as you grabbed his hand.
"No! It's black tea!" You tried to grab the cup but he just batted you away with his much longer arms and poured a little milk into it, mixing the creamy cloud into the pearly surface with the teaspoon that was laying by your saucer.
"Surely you can put milk in black tea, it bloody well needs it", He took another sip and once again stared into nothing with a quirked eyebrow before finally nodding.
"Better, here you go, I have to go now, tell Sirius I'll see him in charms", He jumped up to leave, handing the contaminated tea back to you which you took a sip of before giving into James's innovation. It was much better with milk.
"I love you!" You called out which seemed to click something into James as he abruptly stopped in his tracks, nearly running into a pair of Hufflepuffs who had appeared by the doorway.
He turned sharply and ran down the length between the tables, stopping only to use your shoulders as his break system, as if he was an awkward middle schooler with a pair of roller blades and you were the wall around the rink.
He reached down and pecked you on the cheek, pulling back with a grin on his face as he flipped back around and darted off, his hair slightly pulling behind him from the length it had gained over the winter months.
Lilly:
Lilly was sitting on the couch closest to the fire, trying to tuck her face behind her book, making sure nobody could read behind her back, this lasted a total of twenty minutes before you invited yourself to jump next to her with a half-empty mug of tea in your hands which reeked of sweetness, wafts of sugary air assaulted Lilly's noses which caused her to wrinkle the appendage and slam her book shut on her lap.
"Merlin, how much sugar have you put in that?" She dared to peek over the cup to see a sad sight of the lightest tea she had ever seen with a more profound reek of sweetness hitting her.
"Remus made it for me, I think he had made it for Sirius but...Yeah. I struggled to get it that far", You wrinkled your own nose at the drink and swirled it around the cup, watching the contents mix themselves.
"Oh well, I can help you if you need", She offered with a grin, slipping her book by her thigh as she pulled her legs into her chest, curling up like a beautiful house cat.
"Thank Godric, I was going to ask anyway", You smiled holding the cup up to her face only for Lilly to pull out her wand and aim it at the cup at the same time.
A red carried its way from her cheeks to her forehead as she realized you meant help drink it not to vanish it.
"Oh, I'm sorry", You apologized pulling back with an embarrassed flush over your face.
"Oh no no! That's alright, here", Charged full of embarrassment and her fear of you seeing Lilly in a different light she ripped the cup from your hands and rushed it to her lips, taking a large swig that instantly put a sour purse on her lips.
"Is that salt?" She asked with a shake of her tongue at the word salt.
You smiled with a grin nodding as you laughed loudly, taking the cup from her hands and placing it on the floor beside the couch.
"Oh man, I just couldn't resist! You should have seen it!" You chuckled so loudly that a few people shushed you in the common room but you simply ignored them and continued.
Lilly thought of every insult to throw at you, she watched the ideas of screaming and shouting at you fade as your face imprinted itself into her mind's eye. Your face was filled with a love for life that made her cheeks glow for a different reason. Your unwavering joy of this joke made Lilly feel a twinge of something chemical in her heart, she wanted to pull you close and kiss you right here but she couldn't.
"Haha-Uh You alright Lil'?" You finally turned to look at her and when you saw she wasn't scowling or pulling faces like she usually did after a stupid prank you were afraid you had truly upset her.
"Yeah yeah, I just--You--I have to go!" She all-of-a-suddenly grabbed her book and stormed out of the common room, her fantasies of your face making her heart heavy.
Remus:
The library was your favourite place in the winter of Hogwarts and here was where Remus found you, curled up with a copy of a book about something he didn't look at, instead he was keenly following the sweet scent of honey which was leading him to your cup on the table in front of you.
He stared down at you and when you didn't react to his presence he gently settled himself in the seat opposite you. The big room was so quiet that Remus felt a shiver run up his spine.
He placed his hand on the table and it remained still for a moment before he held it upright, pointing his index and middle finger into the wooden table, using his fingers like they were legs, he slowly took tiny inches toward your cup and was about to make a grab for the mug painted with deep purple violets when you finally materialized back to reality.
"If you want some, just ask Moony", He looked up at you with huge, bloated brown eyes whose pupils were blown up to the size of dinner plates.
"Can I have some?" He asked as he finally grabbed the handle and brought it close to him, taking a deep sniff of the sweet redbush tea which was loaded with honey in every waft that entered his nose trails.
"Of course, see if you like it", You smiled, placing the book back down and dropping your head into your palm to support yourself.
He took a deep sip and smacked his lips a couple of times before humming in a low monotone pitch for a couple of seconds. He stared down into the cup before smiling, his smile pulled at your heartstrings as he handed it back to you.
"Will you make some for me sometime? I love it", He couldn't help but reach for it again and you obliged as you handed it back, allowing your fingers to graze as he grabbed the cup back and took another sip.
"Of course, maybe we can have some tomorrow, I think you'll like another one I have as well, it's made from cacao nibs", You nearly cracked a rib as Remus's eyes lit up, almost dog-like in nature as his posture straightened.
"So, it's like chocolate?" He asked, taking another sip, watching you over the rim of the mug.
"Yep, just for you", You laughed as he stood up and walked off to the exit, still holding the mug.
"Why wait? Carpe Diem as they say", He was practically running as you sprinted after him with laughter in your belly.
Peter:
The green tea was sitting by the chess game in front of you two and you weren't sure if it was perhaps the healing energy coming out of the small handleless mugs that was energizing you but so far the game was pulling in your favour which made you smile.
"This isn't fair, are you sure you didn't add liquid luck in that", Peter gestured his hand at your porcelain cup with disdain as your queen rather harshly smacked his knight off the board and onto the carpet in little bits and chips.
"Nope, maybe you're just getting old and tired Wormtail", You snickered as you took the cup and brought it to your lips, taking a sip as Peter turned back to the board with a snort.
"Yeah right, I wouldn't be surprised if you traded something with old Snivillius again", Peter dumbly disregarded your queen and spoke to the board which moved his rook to your bishop.
"I can neither confirm nor deny my business dealings with others Pete, you must know that at least", You watched as your queen didn't even wait for you to speak as she moved to the clear move,  right in front of the last guard on Peter's King.
"Yeah that's something a guilty person would say", He scoffed, taking a large sip of the subtle tasting tea as he moved his bishop to your knight.
"It's not my fault that you're a low-level potions student who can't tell when his tea has been bugged with mackled malaclaw", You added off handily as you drained the final dregs of the tea with a shake of your head at the bitter leaves in the bottom.
Peter suddenly spat out the tea all over the chess pieces who stood up and began shaking their fists at him but he paid no attention as you looked down at his hands with his voice coming out in huff and puffs as if expecting to see he had turned into a hideous beast.
"You what!" He yelled as he wiped his mouth on his loose red tie which hang around his neck with reckless abandon.
You smirked evilly and cackled as you leaned back and watched him panic for a few minutes until you had your fill of laughing, it may seem cruel but you thought of every time he had danced around the common room after he would win and call you a loser as you sat defeatedly trying to act nonchalant while inside you were holding back from smacking him into next week.
"Peter it's not poisonous, Severus took out the side effects for me, you should be laughing really, that little cup cost me a good fortune and a large smack in my reputation", You watched Peter pick up the cup with a growl and throw it at you which caused you to laugh as you dived below the table as the cup smashed behind you on a wall.
"Hey! Watch the face!" You called out as you poked your head up which caused Peter to promptly dive across the little table, knocking the chess into the air as Peter leapt to you and began straddling your waist as he playfully grabbed at your throat and pretend to strangle you which you played along with, acting as if he was really harming you. The acting was enough to convince a couple of first years who gasped and ran out of the room which made you laugh and finally for the first time today Peter joined in.
You both lay next to each other and stared up at the ceiling as you both sighed, allowing the suddenly quiet room to settle.
"M'sorry", You called out as you slipped your hands under your shirt, rubbing your stomach as the tea settled perfectly into place within the contents of your stomach.
"M'sorry too, I'm a sore winner sometimes, it's not fair", He didn't raise his voice too loud, making sure only you could hear him.
"How about we both admit we were both wrong and forgive and forget", You held out your hand upright, and much to your pleasure another hand entered your vision and grabbed yours, filling your hand with heat that travelled up your arm and to your face at his touch.
Severus:
The aroma had filled the Slytherin common room and upon entry, Severus had thought it was some stupid peer's failed potion but the scent only strengthened in velocity as he came closer to his dorm room and the dread filled his stomach as he flicked through his dorm mates, trying to figure out who was the most likely culprit at the mess he was about to uncover.
He opened the door with a dramatic whoosh but the room was in the same condition he had left it in the only difference was the cup on his side table which was accompanied by a note that was written in your iconic handwriting which he identified in seconds. He walked over to the cup and sniffed it with a scowl, sure it was a botched attempt of yours that you had made without his consultancy.
He picked up the cup which was acting as a paperweight to the note and sat on his bed to read it.
Dear Snake,
A poor sense of humour as always, he thought as he exhaled firmly.
I wanted to say thank you for your help with potions this week, you did an adequate job at helping me.
Adequate? He had taken multiple hours out of his private time to help the little spoiled home-wrecker.
I appreciate it, I know it was not your choice but considering we were forced to spend time together by professor Slughorn I have to say you made it rather enjoyable.
He paused at those words with a momentary glance around the room before he allowed himself a small smile. He had found himself enjoying your tutor sessions more and more as each lesson passed but he wouldn't dare admit it even on his deathbed.
I made you a cuppa to say thanks, I know you probably don't remember but I made this tea during our last session and you tried it (without my consent) and told me it was audacious. Whatever that's supposed to mean but it was the first time I saw you without that dumb frown on your face so I made you some.
Your client and friend, y/n.
He stared at the page, looking for any sign of doctoring but it looked real, the ink was the shade you used and the loop on the letters was yours but he couldn't help it, why on Earth would you write this?
He placed the letter next to him and picked up the cup. The steam came off it in normal patterns and the colour was the same colour it had been when he tried it the first time but he could feel the protective side of him flare up and the urge to throw it down the drain without a second thought pushed its way to his brain.
He stood up and walked over to the window, opening it to throw the contents of the cup outside but he paused at the last second and glanced down once again before shaking his head at the stupid trust you had installed in him before taking a sip of the tea which caused the same euphoric bursts along his tastebuds which made him smile once again. It wasn't a trick.
He enjoyed the tea by the window for a couple of minutes and when he was finished he knew he had a perfect excuse to speak to you again, to give you back the cup. He damned the excitement that elected in him and returned to his bed.
Sirius:
The party from the common room could be felt throughout the whole tower and for once you felt like flipping off the boys who had organized it. Usually, you would be down with them enjoying the music and talking to everyone but this essay was due tomorrow and this was the final straw for your parents who had become sick of receiving owls detailing your various schemes which ended with rather shabby grades.
The quill felt heavy in your hand and the ginger, honey, and lemon tea were not curing this tired vibration between your eyes that told you to give up and go join the party.
You had finished the last line to your fourth paragraph when the door cracked and in stumbled Sirius, his hair was long and shaggy, the smell of alcohol and cigarettes pouring from his scalp as if the mutt was sweating the stuff. He tripped over your trunk with a giggle as he picked himself back up and waddled over to you, slamming his head onto the table as he stared up at you from his knees, a bottle of what looked like fire whisky in his hand, the substance no doubt all over your room now.
"Hello Padfoot, having fun?" You couldn't help but let the jealousy leak out of your words. He didn't need to study because he leeched off Remus and James but unfortunately the boys had an ongoing trick on you where they offered exactly no help with essays much to your anger which only amused the boys more.
"Oh yeah but y'know it's really missing you down there, I need someone to dance on the tables with, M'all alone down there", His face was turned towards you, his hair a fallen mess all over his face.
He wasn't quite wasted but he was very tipsy, he probably would have a patchy memory tomorrow but for now, he was still conscious. He suddenly let out a deep sniff and his eyes instantly pinged to the cup on your other side which was in the largest mug you could find.
"What's in there!" He pulled himself up with an innocent grin as he abandoned the bottle by your chair and hazardously picked up the mug, daring to swing with it in a tight swirl around the room much to your dismay.
"Careful! That's tea!" You jumped up to try and pick the mug up from him but Sirius gave you a run for your money.
He darted all around your room, jumping on your dormmate's beds and sending piles of clean clothes ready for folding, books, and personal belongings flying everywhere in heaps.
He finally made his way to your bed and sat down, laying his feet off the sides to keep the dirt away from your covers. His face had an angelic glow while he laughed and you couldn't help but grin at his drunken stupidity. He was so pretty and the bastard knew it, he knew he made you crazy and the booze had given him the courage to tease you about it, this is what he was doing, taunting you with something you couldn't have.
He took a sip from the mug and pulled a face of disgust before slowly taking another sip while watching you huff at his antics. You had given up and sat down on the chair you had been sitting on before, your body facing him while simultaneously slouching with a scowl directed at the pretty boy who was now as happy as a fat cat with his cup of sweet cure.
"Isn't somebody missing you somewhere?" You asked, exasperated. It was just like Sirius to come and find you when you were trying to get some decent work done.
Sirius went deadly silent at your words, continuing to watch you he twisted over to place the cup beside the bed, letting you see the side of his toned stomach as his shirt rode up slightly.
You could feel your face heating up but you didn't dare look away in case you blinked and he pounced on you. The heat slowly wavered as he flopped back, he cocked his head to the side with a grin.
"I should go, leave you to it. But I don't want to", He stood up, pulling his jeans up. He crept towards you, his face smirking with a nasty on his lips that had you paralyzed in your chair.
"I think you and I should make our own fun, whaddya' you say darling?"
Regulus:
The sky was crystal clear, not a cloud was in sight and it was very freeing to feel the wind gently blow over your skin, rustling your hair while sitting on the patterned picnic blanket beside the black lake. The sun was hidden by the tree overhead and it was amazing to feel the diamonds of light slip down through the trees and carefully dance over your face.
The picnic food was hot and steaming, letting out wafts of warm scents which tickled your brain and made your stomach gurgle with the aches of hunger.
It was midday and while you had expected Regulus to stand you up once again for his friends you still felt the sadness drip into your heart.
You sat up, preparing to have a picnic for one but just as you opened the basket lid to pick out the hot food the sound of footsteps crunching on the grass made you perk up, you peeked over the line of trees you had chosen to host the secret date behind, and there coyly emerged Regulus.
He was wearing a beautiful white dress shirt that was a happy change from his usual black cloak and slacks. He looked beautiful and upon seeing your face he seemed to take a large chunk off his shoulders and almost become complacent.
"I apologize, Snape was sticking his abnormally large nose into my business yet again", Regulus quickly sat beside you and peered into the basket.
You felt a burst of adrenaline surge through you and it forced you to leap into Regulus's arms, happily laughing as he gave a loud 'oof' when you bowled him over with your weight. He gave a chortle and held onto you with a python-tight grip that incased you. He gazed up at the leaves rustling above you and sighed away every anxiety and pressure he had pushed onto himself.
You pulled back slowly, checking you didn't knock him as you picked up a thermostat you had carried down and poured you both a cup of mint herbal tea which Regulus watched with keen interest.
"A toast, to your tardiness", You smiled as you handed him his cup before he quickly brought it against your own and clashed them against each other to make a sweet chink.
"A toast to your patients, I was worried you would have left", He watched you take a sip first before he registered you were looking back at him and eagerly waiting for his own opinion about the steaming cup.
He blew a breath over the cup before taking an elegant sip, daintly wrapping his finger over the fragile china before he nodded.
"It is good, thank you", He thanked while you simply nodded, looking down at your own cup with a sad grin.
"Something tells me we won't be seeing each other for a while", You didn't want to dampen the party but you couldn't shake the fear. Regulus was intertwined with formidable friends who held very different ideologies of good and evil than you did and it left a bad taste in your mouth.
Regulus was suddenly silent. He looked down at his own cup, folding his legs below him as a bird flew past, twittering its song, completely unaware of the coupling below it.
"I cannot promise you I will see you again soon, but I can promise I want to, I want to see you again and perhaps that is enough", He placed the cup down and gazed out over the lake, the thoughts of you dancing through his thoughts.
"I cannot promise that when I see you again it will be under the same pretences", Your anger and fear rolled into one, it came out as a silent plea that you both knew couldn't be addressed less another argument plagued the only time you had alone.
Regulus turned and for a moment your breath caught, his face was lit up with white diamonds of sunlight that made him look ethereal. His face was so visible that you could see the few freckles which were subtly sprinkled sparingly over his nose. His face melted into an expression of sad puppy love which watched every feature of yours before he pulled up his collar and shook his head free of the longing wish he had to stay with you for eternity.
"Is our desire really so fickle that you would have me believe you could even entertain the idea of matching me in battle?" His voice was guarded but a tone of poison filled it. He had been shut out his whole life from love and he knew better than to let you in on the big secret. You were his weakness, his Achilles' ankle that could bring down armies if you were threatened. You two had hidden your relationship well but was it well enough?
"I will do whatever it takes for my cause and I rest well knowing you are of the same mind, if we were to come across each other in battle I wouldn't hesitate!" You could feel the anger overpower the fear as you sat up, your daydream was broken before your eyes like sea glass.
"Then you will forgive me for matching your promise", His eyes peeled down, another enemy was not what he wanted, and not if it was meant to be you but this outcome was inevitable. You were on the other side. It was better you leave before he had to carry out his orders.
"I have to hand it to you Regulus, I have never met any person so rich in the fortune of self-pity as you!" You stood up, kicking your tea cup with a great wind up which forced Regulus to duck as the cup went soaring over his head and back where he had first crawled from.
"I have never asked for this! I never asked for you to be with me! I have never once given you a strong indication of my courtship!" He stood up, chasing after you with his voice raised loudly. He didn't care who heard at this moment, he needed just a moment where he could speak the falsities he knew would end a long terrible time at the end of the year for you.
You sharply turned, eyes wild with rage as you shoved him backward, he took the brunt of the force in his chest and simply turned the side of his face to look along the trees instead of your teary face which tugged at his soul.
"You better hope this war kills one of us because I will never be here for you like this again, I will not be second place to your own masochist tendencies! I am worthy of much more than this and I was stupid to think you were ever better than you were! I hate you!" You wanted to slap him silly and throw every blasted bit of dirt in sight at him just for a reaction but he didn't move from his place.
His adam apple bobbed as he gulped, continuing to stare to the side as you loudly yelled nothing coherent at his face, trying to make him move or look at you naturally but he didn't budge. His eyesight was sturdy and for a moment you saw that this was who he really was. Regulus wasn't long hugs under summer skies he was a cold deferring shoulder when all you wanted was a kind word.
"I never minded being alone y'know, I was alright by myself!" You held out your arms while taking a step back as if you were praying to a god that could help you solve the strange enigma of Regulus Black.
You scoffed, stroking your cheek with your tongue as you shook your head. You stood in silence for a few more moments trying to process his sudden mood change but when you couldn't take it any longer you turned and walked back to the blanket, ready to grab your things and leave.
All he had to do was stay quiet and let you leave. All he had to do in order to save a great deal of heartbreak later in life was to stay quiet and stay still.
"I love you", He whispered quietly but you didn't hear a word of it as you packed up all your belongings and stormed off, cursing him from far off in the distance.
He finally turned and walked back up to where the blanket had been sitting a spell ago, he sat on the flattened grass and wiped desperately at his leaky nose and eyes which made him cry harder.

Life Long Friends
623 words
warnings: brief language
Year 1, Chapter 2:
The new group of five friends walked around the castle after being escorted to the common room of where they will be living for the next couple months. As they are all chatting Peter started telling the others a story from a week ago and accidentally mentioned his Animagus, which the 4 boys agreed was not allowed to discuss with others. “Peter!!!” James said quite loudly due to the presence of y/n, the newcomer. Then Sirius clarified that she's fine to know “Chill out prongs, she already knows about mine, she even has one herself. She's also part of this now too, and you know our main rule.” “No keeping anything from anyone” they all said in unison. “So y/n, what exactly is your Animagus?” said a curious Remus. “A dragon. I’ve only really done it to its lowest power though. My dad forbids me from using it in its largest form so I'm unsure of what it looks like then.” “Damn, that's hardcore” replies James. “Just to clarify, James is a buck, so we call him Prongs, Peter is a rat, so he's Wormtail, Remus is a werewolf so he's Moony, and you know mine and I'm Padfoot,” says Sirius. “ I think Scales suits y/n” Remus decides. They all agree and start talking about their home lives, telling stories, and laughing at jokes. All of the sudden, Filch turns around a corner and they catch his eye. “HEY YOU, YA FILTHY HEATHENS, GO TO BED!” he exclaims dramatically. They all run up the stairs that are obstacle like and unnecessarily difficult, laughing more than ever. As soon as they finally reach the fat lady after what feels like forever they are all exhausted with aching legs. “Caput Draconis!” Says James, triggering the painting to open. The 5 of them step inside the common room and it’s surprisingly empty. “Seriously? It's the first day and they aren't throwing a party?? BO-RINGGGG.” Remarks a disappointed Sirius. Remus then scolds Sirius and says “not everyone wants to risk their first impression on Dumbledore to be getting trouble Pads.” Siri rolls his eyes then Peter asks, “Speaking of first impressions with Dumbledore, what happened with the sorting hat and you, y/n?” Looking around, y/n answers with “I honestly have no clue. At first I thought I was getting Gryffindor but the hat kept going. It was weird, I mean, even Dumbledore was taken aback.” “Maybe you're special, like the long lost heir of something.” says Remus, and they all laugh. They continue talking about the upcoming events this year, their classes, and what they think it's going to be like. After a while, James falls asleep and the others decide to prank him because, well, why not? “Peter, go grab some lemon from the cabinet over there. Remus, go grab the dish soap from the sink, and y/n grab one of the red cups from the counter and fill it with toilet water please. I’ll get the saran wrap, BREAK.”
Everyone gets what they were assigned to and they all meet back at the couch James is calmly resting on, unaware of what's to come. Sirius carefully places a slice of lemon between James’ lips and they all wait for the magic to happen. James wakes up with a jerk, smacks his head on the saran wrap, grabs the cup of water beside him, drinks it, then when he realizes what it is he jumps up to spit it out in the sink but slips on the soapy floor. All of the friends burst out laughing. Everyone except James of course. “Are you fucking serious right now?” he says in a tired yet stern voice. “Well, I'm always Sirius but these guys are simply not,” retorts Sirius. Eventually, they all say their goodbyes and head to bed. Y/n thinks to herself soon before drifting off, ~I think this year won't be that bad. But who knows what tomorrow will bring.~

“You’ll be there tonight?”
Remus turned his head, his eyes finding yours. He couldn’t get what you just said since he was too focused on forcing himself not to stare at you and your endearing features. “What?” he said as he cleared his throat, trying not to seem flustered.
You shake your head with a chuckle “You’ll be there tonight?” you saw his eyebrows knitted together in confusion “The party I mean” You really wanted Remus to go. You loved parties, it was a break from school pressure and allowed you to relax for a night. Sure, you were grateful to be a fast learner but burnout was easy for a gifted child who craved academic validation. Anyone in Hogwarts who wanted to have great grades needed to sacrifice a part of their mental health.
But parties were there to help you. And Remus too. You had a long week and just wanted to rest your brain and the party was a good way but it would be even better if Remus was by your side for the entire night.
You held your gaze on the boy, trying to let him know with the look in your eyes that you wanted him to be there. His lips tugged up “Sure” he offered you the softest smile, his cheeks light pink.
It was rare to see Remus being shy, he actually was the type to be sarcastic and teasing with everyone if he wasn’t just wearing a blank face. But you didn’t remark this, you were maybe smart but totally clueless when it came to other people’s feelings. That’s something your friends always made fun of. You were a total flirt but never knew if they flirted back, liked you and were just shy persons.
You grinned a large smile “Great!” you got up and brushed off the grass that was stuck to your pants. Remus and you decided to spend some time together near the Black Lake and it was now time to leave, you had a long week and wanted to take nap before the party.
Remus watched you as you took your bag off the floor and slid it on your shoulder. When your eyes landed on Remus, it seemed like he really wanted to smile but stopped himself from doing it, his pupils were shining and he looked genuinely happy. He truly was handsome.
“See you tonight!” you bent down, pressing a brief kiss to his scarred cheek. You quickly walked away, not seeing the hard blush on Remus’ face and his wide eyes, he had to take a deep breath and a good minute to get up.
:・゚✧*:・゚
Remus lifted his head, hoping to see you enter the room as he saw a group of students coming from the corner of his eye but unfortunately, you weren’t there yet. He was wondering where you could be and just wanted you to be by his side.
As he was lost in his own thoughts he felt someone grabbing his shoulder, he turned around with a small jump, not expecting any physical touch.
He faced a very smiling Sirius “Waiting for your lovebird?” he said with a wide smirk. Remus looked back at the entrance of the common room, rolling his eyes at his friend’s comment.
James came by their side “Who are we looking for?” he nudged Remus in the ribs, showing the crowd starting to form with a head movement.
“Y/n~” Sirius sang as he sent a wink to the tall boy who let out a sigh, hating that he was right. Remus didn’t even bother listening to whatever his best friends were talking about, you were the only thing in his mind at the moment.
But as the waiting began to be long and he started to overthink, he drank a glass of firewhiskey. Then two.
It was his fourth glass when you stepped into the room, it was just the only way he found to spend time. His eyes met yours and his lips immediately extended into a wide smile.
He got up from the couch and that was the moment he realised how much he had drunk without break. Lily next to him let out a chuckle, knowing very well why he was in this state “Go get her” she laughed and Remus nodded as he headed to you.
He approached you, his hand grabbing your shoulder. You turned your head, smiling when you saw him. Without thinking you wrapped your arms around his middle, hugging him to express how happy you were to find him.
“I’m sorry for coming so late. I forgot to set up an alarm and woke up like 40 minutes ago.” you said with an apologetic smile. But Remus beamed down at you and breathed a quiet ‘It’s okay’.
You chuckled “How much have you drank already?” Remus let out a sigh before bringing you to his chest so you would shut up, with your face pressed against his shirt.
“Take a drink and leave me alone” he said grumpily but you could hear his smile as he talked. You pushed away from his embrace before walking to the buffet, shoving a few appetisers in your mouth and filling a glass.
You joined Remus on one of the couches, you could see he was more tactile than usual but you weren’t going to complain, his arm looped over your shoulders you felt protected and relaxed.
You felt his gaze on you as you did anything “What?” you laughed, your eyebrow raising as he was staring down at you.
Remus blushed and looked away “Nothing” he let out a long breath before looking at you from the corner of his eyes “You- You’re just really pretty” That’s it. He just said it. What he wanted to tell you since he first met you months ago.
“O-oh” you weren’t expecting this and warmth raised to your entire face. You had a foolish smile on your lips “You’re pretty too”
Remus didn’t know if it was because of the alcohol in his blood or just the genuine comment you just said, but he wanted to kiss you. His mouth was agape, looking at you in such admiration, he was adorable when he was flustered.
It wasn’t the first time he had the urge to kiss your soft-looking lips but he never dared, you were so confident, he was even surprised you weren’t taken, every sane person would love to date you. But the new form of adrenaline gave him the confidence he didn’t have sober. He leaned down, his right hand cupping your cheek.
You knew what he was going to do. And you wanted the same thing as him. The only problem that was floating in your mind was ‘does he really want to kiss you? Or it’s just the euphoria of the night?’ “Wait” you whispered when his lips almost touched yours.
Remus cocked his head to the side. “Do you really want this? It’s not just alcohol?” you asked quietly.
The boy nodded eagerly “Of course, I wanted to since I first led my eyes on you” you grinned when he talked, that was the sweetest thing someone ever told you.
“You’re not going to regret this tomorrow morning?” you were scared your dream will disappear when you will wake up and Remus shook his head with wide eyes, he was begging you in silence and you couldn’t resist anymore.
“Just one.” his lips tugged down in disappointment “C’mon, if you still like me in the morning we will have plenty of time to kiss” This time you were the one initiating the kiss, your hand on his scarred cheek, tilting his head down so you could reach for his lips. He didn’t wait before kissing you back, his hand coming behind your neck.
Fireworks exploded in Remus’ stomach, he couldn’t believe what was happening. He never wanted to stop, he loved you too much to break the kiss right now.
You pulled away for air but Remus chased for your lips and you giggled. “I said one” Remus sighed, burying his face in the crook of your neck with a muffled groan. When you tore your stare away from him you saw all his friends looking at you with big smirks and you let out an awkward laugh.
Remus could feel your embarrassment and he gazed up at where you were looking. He grunted when he saw his idiots of friends “Leave us alone” he told them with furrowed brows before grabbing your hand to lead you to a more quiet place.
The said place ended up being his dorm. He just plopped down on his bed, waiting for you to join him. He made sure his face was close to yours, and it made you laugh “So I can kiss you when I wake up” he let you know before hugging you to sleep.
