I’m sorry but the teen titans are literally the worst at undercover. I thought the meaning of undercover was to “cover up” their identities as super heroes, yet here we have Kori’s green eyes that are iconic to her character and Kaldur’s tattoos which are iconic to him too. No way are they getting in there without someone recognizing them. (Even if people assume that Kori’s eyes are contacts, that’s still pretty high risk). Also do I see a Wally x Raven ship happening? People are still shaking over Damirae and BBrae, Raven’s ships are going through a three way street 😂😂

Hi everyone! It has come to my attention that the “Yellow Peril Supports Black Power” imagery is inappropriate, in a sense that this places East Asians in the center of attention next to those of African Heritage, when this movement is in fac, not about us but about Black Lives. Of course, East Asians are not on the same level of priviledge than African Americans, therefore deeming such political art inappropriate.

Therefore, I will be deleting my artwork that depicts Cassandra Cain and Duke Thomas holding up a sign together that reads “Yellow Peril Supports Black Power”.

I’d like to continue to say that it has become more increasingly difficult to post artwork or talk about things because of the unknown possible underlying mistakes or isms that have slipped past me. So I do encourage everyone to correct me in a constructive manner is I do make a mistake and I will add changes or delete the post overall. I am still learning to this day and hope that I will still be able to educate myself correctly.

Finally I’d like to disclose the fact that centering Asian Americans in the Black Lives Matter movement was indeed not my intention at all. When I made this piece, I was driven with anger and passion for support of Black Lives and I wanted to encourage my fellow East Asians to support Black Lives. I am ashamed to say that many of my fellow East Asians (especially older generations) have been racist to African Americans. Therefore, those of you who wish to support the Black Lives Matter movement, I support you whole heartedly and thank you for taking a step forward to improving the racial inequality that the United States holds. For those who still stand on the sidelines, I implore you to step on the same side with us and to educate yourself on this movement and the police injustices that still occur to this day.

Racial inequality and police brutality will still happen for a long time, but nothing will change if we still stand on the sidelines.
