With Bat-Mite being joined by Nite-Mite I think there should be an elseworld (not main continuity) mini series where each of the batfamily has to deal with their own mite

It would be so funny to see how Jason, Tim, Cass, Damian, and Duke would deal with their own imps

(OH and Alfred, Alfred should also get an imp!)

I think Jason would try to swat his away like a fly and curse up a storm as the imp kept jumping just out of reach

Maybe Tim would try to reason with his imp then get fed up and trap him til he agreed to leave

Cass and the imp would probably get into a cycle of mimicking each other, all in good fun, and probably would be pretty chill about the whole thing

Damian would absolutely be flattered for .2 secs before the imp made him mad and then he would go after his imp with a sword

I think Duke would try to be nice but would eventually try to escape his imp and every time the imp found him would just curse under his breath while trying to get away again

Alfred would raise a single eyebrow and his imp would be like so, tea? and not cause any mischief lol

alison mite is adds legal name, he is the walking embodiment of “gender is a social construct”

his blood relatives, through an almost comical level of miscommunication- leave him homeless in unova for over a decade. cue found family sibling plot in the virbank gym while getting adopted into the punk scene

he’s a biker with a shitty motorcycle he fixed up from a scrap yard. he’s got a few skills in mechanics that gets him recognized in gear station for doing repair work

he is originally from hoenn, his father passed when he was 8, his dad was a bug specialist so he has a huge soft spot for bug types.

his ace, a gardevoir nicknamed opal (named after a wedding ring she stole when she was a ralts) was hatched from an egg he stole from a shiny breeder, he snatched the dudes bag while in nimbasa with high hopes for cash but was left with an egg and broken dreams.

opal is also medically recognized as a needed support aid for his ptsd (thanks doctor fennel)

TEAM TRIVIA. doctor fennel also gave him his musharna for his insomnia. his zoroark is the oldest of his team, forming a bond with it when he was still very young and newly homeless. his zoroark technically was the one to catch adds sneasel because he just randomly came running full speed from the woods with it scuffed between his teeth. his venomoth followed him home and add, being a bug obsessed little man, let him. and he ended up with his sawsbuck because when it was still a deerling add almost hit it with his bike and feeling bad for scaring the thing took it in.

I’m starting to think Claude’s favourite flowers are roses. Because like, he decorated the supper with Arnold Trancy and the priest with pink, de-thorned roses. He then uses white roses to form an allegiance / deal with Sebastian (perhaps these are required for the ritual they did, or perhaps they were the most nearby candidate), and he also requests red roses to be used to fill Alois’ room for the broken butterfly in the Spider OVA.

What can I say? I guess he just likes roses.

This little beetle was coming and going, flying away and then returning to one of the drainage holes in the compost turner.  When I took a closer look, I saw that its face was completely covered in mites. 

It didn’t seem particularly distressed, and over the years I have seen several other insects going about their business with small passengers, some of them more cheerfully than others.

I'm pretty sure the pupae are cut worms, and they look pretty close to hatching. And I think the spider might be some kind of False Black Widow. I have no idea what the eggs are though.

Definitely could be cutworms! It’s often hard to tell in the pupal stage. The spider looks more like a blacklaceweaver (Amaurobius ferox) than it does a false widow, and the “eggs” look more like galls from gall wasps or gall mites, though I don’t know which species offhand without comparing a bunch of photos.
