it’s been a while since Fuyumi has adopted you. She was always busy with work and other things you did not need to know but she still made room for you, but half of the time it’s either your uncle Natsuo, Shoto or your grandpa babysitting you. Usually ends up with Natsuo. You’ve visited your grandma at the hospital one too many times and you wonder why she’s there, she isn’t hurt or anything right?
Tumblr media
You were currently in school playing with your friends until your teacher made an announcement “ok everyone! Y/n will be leaving early today so say your goodbyes!” The teacher beamed, all that was heard were ‘awes’ and ‘bummer’ and ‘lucky…’ eventually everyone got over their little tantrums and said their goodbyes. You were guided towards the office as Fuyumi came in sight, you ran towards her wrapping your arms around her torso with your head buried in her stomach and you felt soft hands touch your head as you looked up making eye contact with Fuyumi “Hi mom! How was work?” You say excitedly. She smiled at you as she ruffled your hair “Y/n, sweetie! Can you give me a few minutes?” “Ok!”
Tumblr media
Time passed by and Fuyumi was done talking with the staff. Both of you got in the car as you questioned“Mom, why did you pick me up from school early?” Fuyumi smiled at you again. “Well~ I though maybe me and my cute precious daughter can have a day out with just the two of us!” There were stars in your eyes showing you were indeed excited but you also got embarrassed at her statement of ‘my cute precious daughter’ “mom!!!” Fuyumi giggled as it seemed time passed by so fast that you two were already at your destination. Fuyumi and you got out of the car and we’re walking towards the play ground.
“Ahah! Mom come play with me!” You tugged at Fuyumi’s shirt wanting her to go down the slide with you. “Ok! Ok!” The both of you giggled as you were placed onto her lap, you put your arms in the up as you and Fuyumi slid down “WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Let’s go again!”
Tumblr media
Now both of you were getting ice cream.
“Y/n which one do you want?” Fuyumi said pointing to a bunch of popsicle flavours displayed onto the ice cream truck. “I want chocolate!” “One chocolate ice cream with sprinkles please!” You beam at the fact that she remembers you like ice cream with sprinkles “alright one chocolate ice cream coming right up! Anything for you ma’am?” You proceed to chant the word ‘chocolate’ as the other two speak. “Ah! Yes I would like vanilla if it’s not a bother!” “One vanilla ice cream coming right up!” Fuyumi paid for the ice creams and you guys went for a short walk.
“This is the best day every!!!” You laughed and Fuyumi joined in the laughing with you. “Be careful with your ice cream! It’s melting!” Fuyumi said as she wiped your mouth with a tissue as you just smiled towards her.
Tumblr media
Both of you were finally back home as you were being carried in Fuyumi’s arms “mom?” Fuyumi hummed in response. “Can we ever go out like this again someday?” You say getting sleepy by the time Fuyumi responded you were fast asleep. She giggled and kissed your forehead “of course.”

"Get up."
Endeavor sneered down at his son, kicking him in the stomach again.
"You must surpass All Might."
Across the city, flowers inked themselves across your stomach, revealing your soulmate trait.
─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ ༓ ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ───
"Shut the fuck up!"
Your mother hissed at you, dragging you by your arm down the stairs.
"Your siblings are trying to sleep."
Hysterical, you sobbed and thrashed trying to escape.
"Mommy I'm sorry please I'll be quiet please just let me go back to bed-"
"I don't believe you."
She threw you into the small basement closet and locked the door.
"I'll be back when you're ready to be quiet."
Blossoms curled across Todoroki's shoulder and arm.
─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ ༓ ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ───
"If I raise him now, it'll be bad-"
"Mommy?"
Todoroki asked, poking his head around the corner.
The kettle whistled.
Slowly turning, Rei Todoroki spotted her son, but all she could see was a bright turquoise eye.
Picking up the kettle, she slowly approached him.
"Mommy?"
He asked again, backing up, but not leaving.
He knew something was wrong, but despite the alarm bells ringing in his head he wanted to stay and help, because he loved her.
And he continued to love her even after the searing pain of the boiling water.
Even after she scarred him, he continued to love her, because if he didn't, he wouldn't have anyone to consider a parent.
For months a red flower remained inked over your left eye.
─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ ༓ ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ───
"Stay in your room until I come get you. How did I give birth to such an awful human being? How could you make your little brother cry. Stay here until I can stomach seeing you again."
Turning to leave, your mother was stopped when you flung your small body at her and clutched her leg.
"Mommy I'm so so sorry, I swear I'll be better! I didn't mean to make him cry! Please just give me another cha-"
You were cut off as your mother kicked you off her leg and stomped down on your chest before wordlessly turning and locking the door behind her.
You curled in on yourself, trying to remember how to breathe, your chest on fire.
A cluster of flowers in the shape of a slippered foot unfurled across Todoroki's sternum.
─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ ༓ ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ───
For years and years, the only communication you had with your soulmate was flowers in the shape of bruises, the two of you sending them back and forth, back and forth.
Your soulmate trait made it so if either of you were injured, the other would have flowers inked across their body until the person who was injured healed.
The fates must have been in an ironic mood when they gave the two of you, two abused children living sad and loveless lives, that trait.
But at least it allowed you to recognize your soulmate immediately.
The first time you met Todoroki Shouto, you knew he was your soulmate. After all, the injury that caused his scar had been inked on your face for months, so of course you would recognize it.
After your first day at UA, you quietly asked if you could talk to him somewhere private.
Suspiciously he agreed, so the two of you walked to a park.
"I'm pretty sure you're my soulmate."
You blurted, wincing at how blunt you sounded.
He stared coldly at you.
"What makes you think that?"
You nervously explained your soulmate trait, and told him about the flower that had adorned your left eyes for several months when you were around six.
"Do you have a bruise on your right elbow?"
He asked impatiently.
"Right now-yes. Yeah I do."
He gave you a curt nod.
"Then we're probably soulmates. I have a flower on my right elbow right now."
You smiled at him shyly.
"Nice to meet you-"
He cut you off.
"I don't have time, or a need for a soulmate."
You stopped, not sure you heard him right.
"I don't need or want a soulmate. I have to work hard and surpass All Might. A relationship with you would just hold me back."
Tears crawled up your throat and burned the backs of your eyes.
"R-right! Of course! No I-I completely understand! I'll let you go on your way now. Sorry for wasting your time."
Turning you walked briskly away, not brave enough to look back or wait for a response.
Wiping your eyes on the sleeve of your blazer you took a deep breath.
It was okay. It made sense after all. He had seen all of the bruises and cuts and scrapes you worked so hard to hide from the public. Of course he wouldn't want you. It was obvious that your mother didn't, so why would he.
You were okay with this. You would have to be.
─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ ༓ ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ───
"I would like to apologize and try to be friends."
You stared blankly at the dual-toned boy standing in front of you.
"...What?"
You asked, confused.
"Why."
After Todoroki had returned from his internship in Hosu, he had asked to meet you in the park where you talked the first time.
At first you had hesitated, but he seemed sincere, so you eventually agreed.
"After the Sports Festival, and my encounter with Stain, I realized that I've been a little..."
"Cold? Harsh? Unfeeling?"
You offered, a little peeved.
He winced.
"Yes...All of the above."
Then he squared his shoulders and bowed.
"I sincerely apologize for being so insensitive. I need to work some things out in myself before I'm ready to even consider a romantic relationship, however I would like to become friends with you and get to know you better."
You take a moment to process what he just said.
Hope bubbles in you, beautiful and bright. Maybe there was a future in which you could learn what it felt like to be loved.
"Stand up."
You said softly, fidgeting with your hair.
He straightened, looking into your eyes.
Was that...nervousness you detected?
"I forgive you. And...I would like to get to know you as well. So why don't we start over?"
He exhales in relief.
"That sounds perfect."
You smiled at him and introduced yourself.
He smiled back.
"It's nice to meet you. My name is Todoroki Shoto."
─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ ༓ ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ───
Okay I really really really want to make a part two of this where they finally become a couple. Should I? Thanks for requesting this anon! I had a lot of fun writing it!

imagine asking for one last kiss before you part ways. holding back tears, you try to smile and act brave in front of him. you know it’s in vain. he sees through your facade. but he doesn’t say anything and for that, you’re thankful.
you don’t want to, but you aren’t brave enough. if you were, you wouldn’t have to hurt him like you’re hurting him now. in your head, you’re already regretting it. but you swallow all of the guilt and shame and heartbreak, and relish in the feel of his lips on yours instead. (something you’ll add to your list of regrets and bad decisions because you think you love him even more now. but you’ll give yourself this. you’ll let yourself drown in him one last time.)
he kisses you like it’s your first. he cradles your face like nothing’s changed. he wants this kiss to last forever. but he feels the wetness of your cheeks and he’s reminded that once he pulls away, he has to let you go. for real. forever.
he makes the moment last for as long as he can.

CHAPTER 12! (TODOBAKUDEKU X READER! MAFIA AU!)
Tumblr media
The sun came through the window and I sighed. I heard a knock on the door and groaned. “Too early.” I huffed and they huffed. “Well I can just go home.” A girl growled and I didn't hear her voice. “Rain?” I asked tiredly. She turned the door knob. “Yeah, I heard everything. I am here to explain.” Rain says and I looked at her. “Thank you.” I sighed as I sat up, and looked at her as she sat down. Her hair was beautiful white with purple tips, her wings were like angel wings, her horns made me wanna show mine, but never could. She also has wolf ears and tail that matches her hair color, her power is better than anyones ever seen.
“Tell me everything you know?” I asked and she nodded. “Y/n, I am so sorry that happened. He didn’t used to be that way.” She sighed and she looked down. “In high school he would act like a prev because his parents was against gays, and that he was one. He had to hide it very well. No one knew that but me, because he was my best friend. He got bullied and he couldn’t change it because that was better than the beatings he would get from his parents. It all changed him.” She sighed and I looked at her. “That doesn’t explain why he killed my brother and kidnapped me.” I huffed, crossing my arms. “You are a few years younger than us, right? So your brother would be our age right?” She asked. “Yeah I am nineteen.” I sighed and she nodded. “He is twenty-four, the same age.” She stopped and looked at me. “As my brother.” I looked at her in shock. “My brother..” I looked at her in shock. “Yeah, I believe your brother bullied him in school the most for being gay.” Rain sighed and I started to tear up and then shook it off. “No way..” I looked at her and saw honestly in them. “My brother is a horrible person..but still don’t understand why he took me..” I sighed and she sighed. “He might be a murder but he isn’t a monster.” She leaned back on the bed next to me. “He killed the only family you had left…he took you in to protect you from the world, but he did it the wrong way. He should have let you live your life normally.” She sighed and I looked at her. “I am not normal, never have been. Never will be.” I looked at her. “I am like you.” Still looking at her and she looks back at me. “Y/n, we all have powers of some sort, the reason we made the mafias to use them where the cops can’t. We shouldn’t be scared to show our turn powers.” She looked at me. “Todoroki, fire and ice.” She smiled. “Bakugo, explosions.” She sighed. “Deku?” I asked and she shivered. “Deku has the most powerful power any of us can have. I can’t tell you. He would have too.” She sighed and I nodded. “I don’t show off, never really wanted to.” I sighed as I looked away. I got out of bed and looked at her. “What should I do?” I asked her. She looked at me and smiled. “You might not like this Idea.” She sighed. I looked at her as I picked out some clothes. “What is it?” I asked. “Talk to him. Ask him the questions yourself, because he would know more about what he did than me.” She sighs. She did have a point but a lot can go wrong.. “What if he kills me because I know his secret..” I asked and she laughed. “He took you in y/n, he is not going to kill you after all these years just because of one stupid secret..” She chuckled and I looked at her dumbfounded. “He got his ass beat to a pulp because he did not want me to know…” I explained and she looked at me. “That is a good point..” She stopped and thought for a second. “I still don’t think he would kill you, but to be safe when he wakes up, I will talk to him.” She smiled at me and I nodded. “Thank you.” I sighed as I grabbed my clothes. “I am going to get a shower. Thank you for all your help.” I smiled and she nodded. “Anytime.” She said as she got up and hugged me. She walked out, I sighed as I walked to the bathroom and turned the shower on and started to strip out of my clothes and get in the shower, letting the hot water hit my back. I wash my hair out. I sighed as I let the water hit my skin more and leaned my head back in relaxation. I washed my body and turned the water off and stepped out. I looked at my clothes and sighed. I looked at myself in the mirror. Who do I see? Who is she? Cause I don’t know anymore. I sighed as I got dressed and brushed my hair and teeth. I walked out the bathroom and she was gone. I shrugged and walked down stairs and saw the black haired man there. His face wasn’t like before, it was full of hope and despair. Maybe a tint of happiness. Why? I have no idea and I honestly don’t think I should find out. He didn’t trust me with my brother. Why would he trust me with what is making him happy?
I looked at him as I walked to the kitchen, I wasn’t paying attention and ran into someone. “Ow!” I groaned. I looked up and saw the scar over the nose and the freckles. Ignoring him isn’t the best when you stay in the same house I guess. “Y/n?” He asked and looked down at me. I huffed. “What?” I asked as I got water from the fridge. “You have been avoiding me.” He growled. I rolled my eyes. “Well duh! You aren’t gonna take my first like it was nothing!” I yelled and growled walking away leaving him there dumbfounded. Doesn’t he not remember it? I walked to the nurses office and saw the man I thought was my brother on the table. I wanted to slap him. I wanted to hurt him. Instead I walked away and breathed hard to stop the tears. Until I felt arms around me. “Let it out.” A soft voice spoke and I knew it was Todoroki. I could never forget the warmth he gives me. I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I cried in his arms. I wanted someone to save me from this nightmare. In our line of work, we don’t have heroes, never have. Never will. Even if we did, would they take the time out of their day for something silly like this? Probably not. I have never felt worth saving and I am not. I don’t even use my power. I have one, yes. Despite the Mafia and the quirks, people would think heroes would be born, but after the commission ruined everything. Everyone fought against it, U.A was shut down years ago and everything went south. About a year after that Endeavor was arrested and the world was angry.
They lost all hope of being safe, but us? We were never safe. In this line of work your family is always on the line. Unless you are Deku, then you put their families lives on the line. In this line of work, there isn’t a good or bad person. Just a stupid or street smart. You can never let your guard down. I did. I am the stupid one. Not only did I let my brother die, I am standing here in a boy's arms crying my eyes out. I sighed as I looked at him slowly. “Why?” I asked. He looked down at me. “Why what?” He asked and I sighed as he wiped my tears with his thumb looking me in the eyes. “Why are you trying to save me?” I asked and he smiled slightly at me, my heart skipped a beat. He smiled at me. “You are worth saving Y/n, Ever since I met you. You have had my heart. You not only wanted to know me but you also wanted to save me. Am I right?” He asked and my mouth dropped open. “How did you know?” I asked. He chuckled lightly and petted my hair down as his other warm arm was around my waist. “The jokes, the calls, the help you have given us. Let us save you the same way you saved us.” He smiled and kissed my head and I looked at him confused. “I haven’t done anything.” I said and he smiled. “You have. Deku has been looking for Mintea for a long time and you happened to find him.” He smiled and my jaw dropped. “What is going to happen to him?” I asked and Todoroki shrugged. “He will get what he deserves.” He huffed and I smiled. “Can I smack him when the day comes?” I asked and Todoroki laughed. “Of course, love.” He pulled me closer for a hug and kissed the top of my head. “We all love you Y/n, you have shown us trust and what it means to be happy in this line of work.” He smiled and I looked at him. “Woah, no you got me all wrong. I hate this line of work. Look at me, my parents are dead, my brother gone. I am only nineteen Todoroki. I have nothing together. I am still in college for whatever I don’t even remember anymore because I just wanted a normal life. I had to kill people and steal their wallets just to pay for a normal life. Do you not hear how fucked up that is?” I sighed and he looked down at me.
I felt disappointed, I am not sure if it was because of what I said or how I felt when I said it. “Y/n.” He sighed. “If you don’t want to go to college then drop out, they are already dead, going to school won’t bring them back. You might be young but you signed up for this life when you slit the first man's throat for his money, Y/n. I had to turn my emotions off just to get through life. I don’t want that for you. Just try to learn not to care so much.” He sighed and I looked at him. “You are welcome to be a part of our mafia, your brother would be proud to see you working alongside the number one mafia leader, no?” He asked and I thought for a moment. I looked at him and nodded. “He would, that is all he has ever wanted.” I sighed out and Todoroki nodded. “Good.” He smiled at me. “Let's go.” He said. “Where?” I asked. “Deku and Bakugo want to see you.” He smirked and I gulped. Oh god.

Bnha main three x turned to child reader
Scenarios with just fluff! This one has a lil drabble too hehe~
Tumblr media
Katsuki Bakugo
A noisy weekend afternoon, pathetic winds making noise through the damned trees, and the extras just being extras, Katsuki Bakugo was fed up with the day, wishing for evening to come already, so that the common school gym opened and he could get started with his weekend training regimen.
It was literally just another shitty day.
Even his s/o had gone somewhere so he was all alone.
Not like he'll ever admit to missing them.
From the common room, he made his way to his own room, wishing to be just left by himself.
However his extremely polite wish to the gods was not granted.
Since he'd stumbled upon a damned brat right after entering his room.
Wtf?!
"What's this thing doing here...?"
Was even more stunned when that same brat had swiftly crawled upto him, and then upon him, and had landed on his shoulder.
The brat's crawling speed was unreal.
He wasted no time in grabbing the brat with one hand and shoving the thing on his bed.
"Who are you?" He inquired, making an expression which would be enough to scare any brat away.
But of course, you weren't just any brat, you were a special brat.
So, instead of answering his question, you did the next best thing that came to your tiny brain, you mimicked his question, asking him who he was, your lips curling into an innocent smile.
Wait- he feels he knows this smile-
"Y/n...?"
You hold his face in your chubby hands and nod vigorously.
He feels proud first, shocked next.
"How tf?"
Immediately became more gentle with handling you, his precious dumbass.
Didn't waste any time informing Aizawa about the situation. After much thought, Aizawa had reluctantly agreed on letting Bakugo be in charge of his fellow classmate.
"You are under my care huh?! Well you better behave AND ADDRESS ME AS YOUR MASTER!"
Loves how you broke into fits of giggles just after.
Most of your conversation with him was just playful banter.
"BA-k-bojhfh yur name's hawd" you say while poking his cheek
"WAIT-HOW COULD YOU SPELL MY NAME WRONG??!"
He was like an experienced caretaker. He immediately understood how you were feeling at any moment of the day, and caught onto your eating habits with the precision of a seasoned professional.
He kept in touch with both his studies and recovery girl, who informed him about the period of 3 days for the effects of your current state lasting.
Nothing that he couldn't handle.
Most of the times you were perched onto his shoulder like a baby bird.
He found your shenanigans enjoyable.
Except for the fact that you seemed to get his name wrong everytime.
After a few minutes from his trip to recovery girl
"There are three cards arranged here. Now get the cards one after the other and spell it correctly" Bakugo said in a somewhat calm manner- the calmest he could get with his anger
You nodded in response, picking the first card.
"B-A....Ba!"
And then you show it to him. "Baa!!" You say more eloquently in an excited manner.
You pickup the second pair.
"Kuuu~" you chirp happily as he nods in a satisfied manner "Baku!" You repeat happily.
Bakugo with his folded arms kept watching you, hoping that now you would finally get his name right.....(also not to hide it- he enjoyed the sight of his adorable partner trying to learn his name)
It was going fine until- "GUo...?"
Now Bakugo got a tick mark on his forehead and his triangular eyes appeared.
"AAAGGHHHHDAMNIT" He shouted with his hands pulling at his hair "NOW GIMME THOSE CARDS YOU CAN DO NOTHING"
You just nodded enthusiastically and gave him the cards, and perched on his shoulder.
"Say it-Ba"
"Ba"
"Ku"
"Kuu~"
"Go"
"...Go?"
Bakugo saw a new ray of hope-
"Now say it!- Ba-ku-go!!"
There was one minute of silence until-
"Bakujjgfxhuj-"
OH C'MON IT'S NOT THAT HARD!!!" Bakugo said, being exhausted.
And you burst into a fit of giggles.

Shouto Todoroki x reader, wc ~2.9k
tw: injuries, a little bit of angst if u squint rlly hard just dumb todoroki in luvv
Tumblr media
There are three times with you when Shouto has to physically stop himself from kissing you.
The first time is when you two are cleaning up after the UA festival. You had offered to stay behind to clean up the little that was left while everyone else had headed to the beauty pageant. You didn't mind missing out on it, really. The performance with your class was already so much fun and left you feeling content enough for the rest of the day. Todoroki, upon hearing your offer, also decides that he wants to stay back and clean up. His excuse is that "Most of what's left is my ice anyway." You smile and say that you would definitely appreciate his help. You fail to notice how the tips of his ears change into a redder hue.
You two work in comfortable silence, getting rid of most of the ice. It stayed like that for a while, until you heard one of your favorite songs playing from somewhere on the UA campus. "Oh, I love this song!" You said, humming along. Todoroki couldn't help but stare. You look so happy. He felt something warm blooming in his chest again. At first, Todoroki had wondered why this only happened when he was around you. He thought he might be sick, but after these..weird phenomena in his body kept on occurring, he took to the web, which gave him a better insight into his strange feelings. Love wasn't something he was experienced in, as he didn't receive much as a child. It was his first time ever feeling this way...
He's so busy staring at you that he doesn't even realize when he stabs himself with one of the props.
"Todoroki, Oh my God! You're bleeding!" You yell as you frantically rush over to where he is. "Oh. I am." The boy murmurs. You grab his hand without a second thought and inspect the damage done. "It's not that deep, which is great! You should probably put a bandaid on it though." You say, flipping his hand front and back. You're so close. Shouto has to bite his tongue to stop himself from asking to kiss you. You two had finally started getting closer. If you didn't see him that way, or if you just didn't want to kiss him, Todoroki thinks he would probably never recover. Ever. So he just tries his best to avert his gaze from you. "I should probably head over to Recovery Girl, then." Todoroki mumbles, still not looking directly at you. "Actually, I think I have a bandaid. Wait one sec!" You abruptly let go of Todoroki's hand before running over to where you left your bag. He lets out a breath he didn't realize he was holding and tries his best to calm his nerves. You dig in your bag for a while, before finally jogging back to where you left the boy. "Here! It's a bit childish, so if you don't want to wear it I totally understand, haha." You smile.
The bandaid is pretty childish. It's hot pink, with little kirbies and yoshies plastered all over the flimsy material. Todoroki can't help but crack a smile. "I'll take it. Thanks, (Name)." You smile at him before getting back to work.
30 minutes later, everywhere is clean. Todoroki bids you a short goodbye before heading to the auditorium's exit.
"By the way, Todoroki?" "Your hands are really pretty."
Todoroki swears he can feel his heart explode. He utters a quick "Thank you" before hastily exiting the room.
He never ends up using your bandaid, instead opting to keep it safe in the confines of his wallet. (He just wants to have it forever and stare at it. It's his first gift from you, after all.)
The second time is during your hangout together. Upon visiting Todoroki's dorm a week prior and finding out he had never done the fun average teenage stuff (Amusement parks, zoos, aquariums, the like) you insist on taking him out along with a few other classmates to paintball.
You explain how it works and the rules, and he listens, head nodding up and down like a puppy. Cute, you think.
Paintball is a blast, is all Todoroki can think. The first round was pretty calm, with everyone trying to get into the feel of the game. The matches afterward are pure chaos. The good kind. Everyone is doused in paints of various colors. Hours go by, and everyone decides to have the final match before going to lunch. You and Todoroki are on different teams, which disappoints him a little, but nothing he can't handle of course. (He's sulking miserably.)
The game progresses, and still no sight of you. Todoroki lets out a small sigh before scouting the area for a potential target. He doesn't notice you sneaking up behind him. You decide that instead of shooting him, it would be more surprising if you just throw all of your paintballs at him. By the time he realizes you're behind him, it's too late. "Gotcha!" You shout. Todoroki's covered in paint from head to toe now, but he knows that your arsenal is wiped out. He gets to work, quickly trying to grab his gun and extend the distance from you two. You don't allow that though, closing in on him even more and attempting to grab the gun from his hand. As a last-ditch effort to get you, Todoroki tries to reach for the paintballs attached to his thigh. You frantically grab his hand and intertwine your fingers in them, pushing him backward until you both fall over. At this point, you both are rolling, trying to take the paint on Todoroki's thigh until you roll right into a designated trap that ends up spilling paint all over the both of you. You both stop and blink. You guys look like a mess. You burst out into a fit of laughter, and Todoroki just stares at you. He didn't even realize the proximity you two are in until now. You smell like green apples...or something else that's fruity. He can feel your breath as you laugh, and he swears he might just kiss you right now.
You finally realize that one of your hands are still intertwined together, and blurt out a quick apology before wiping away some paint from your eyes. Todoroki gets up and offers you his hand, smiling wider than you've ever seen him do before. You take it, and he doesn't let go until you reach the paintball locker rooms.
The rest of the day is just as fun. When the evening rolls by, Todoroki offers to walk with you back to the dorms. "Today was really fun, wasn't it Todoroki? Next time I think we should totally go to the aquarium! Spring break is coming up soon, so we can ask Mr. Aizawa beforehand for permission if you want!" You beam. Todoroki smiles.
"Yeah."
(And it was on that trip to the aquarium where you two ended up on a first-name basis. Todoroki thinks that the paintball and aquarium trips were genuinely the happiest he's ever been in his life. The pictures from those days hung up on the wall in his room attest to that.)
The third and final time is when you get badly injured. Due to Todoroki's feud with Yoarashi, and Bakugou's poor performance during the rescue section, They had both failed to get their provisional hero licenses. You however had successfully gotten your license and had started your hero intern studies with the rest.
You were doing your internship with Ryukyu and were enjoying it for the most part. It was hard, but you were learning new things, so it was pretty rewarding. You hadn't really talked to Shouto much as you were busy with your work and he was busy taking his supplemental makeup lessons. You would occasionally say hi and bye, but that was pretty much it. Shouto was losing his mind. He already felt annoyed that he had let his feelings about his old man get the better of him during the test, causing him to lose his license, but he was losing way more now. He was losing time with you.
Eventually, you and a few of your classmates are pulled into an operation regarding the Shie Hassakai. You learn about the plan to defeat Kai Chisaki, the mastermind of this yakuza group, and to save a girl named Eri. You hear about the horrors being done to her and it sickens you to your stomach. After the briefing, you, Midoriya, Ochaco, Kirishima, and Asui are sworn into secrecy. You can't tell anybody about the mission. (but you so badly want to tell Shouto.)
The days leading up to the mission are horrible for you. You feel so nauseous every time you think about poor Eri. How could Chisaki do this to his own kid? The rest of 1-A seem to take note of the damper on a few of you guys' moods, with Iida always offering an ear to any problems you may be facing. It doesn't go unnoticed by Shouto either. He hates seeing you look that way. He's never seen you make such a sad expression. He doesn't know what to do or how to approach how you're feeling, so he just watches from afar. Occasionally, he offers you some of his lunch. You just force a smile at him and politely refuse, making him feel even more useless. He was so frustrated with himself for not being able to make you smile like you did that day. (His mind wanders back to the paintball trip...).
(You yourself were in your own turmoil. Every time Shouto talked to you, offered you a smile or some of his lunch, you fought the urge to just spill everything and cry in his arms. When did your crush on him get so bad?)
Shouto decides to let it go for now, resolving to visit your room later and ask force you to tell him what's wrong.
But that resolve is quickly crumbled upon making his way to your dorm, hearing the faint sounds of sniffling and muffled sobs. Shouto freezes in his tracks, unsure of what to do. Should he still knock? He knows you'll pretend to not have been crying. He doesn't how he would comfort you...
And so he decides that tomorrow, he'll definitely talk to you. For tonight though, he'll think of all the ways to make you feel better.
As it happens, tonight turns out to be the night of the operation. You slip out of your room at an ungodly hour and meet up with the others.
The mission goes as it goes. You end up separated from the others, left to fight some of Chisaki's goons. You hold your own, making them bite the curb. You only sustained minor injuries, to your luck. You're about to go regroup with the others when some of the underlings inject themselves with a quirk booster shot and all but pounce on you. You grit your teeth and prepare for a rematch. Does it even count as one? You think. You fight, but it feels never-ending. The enemies just keep on getting stronger. Eventually, you're bruised, bloody, and losing stamina. You feel yourself getting weaker. Your field of vision starts to distort, leaving you queasy. You need to wrap this up, quick. One of the enemies manages to leave another deep wound on your abdomen, but you fight through the pain and use this moment to land a fatal attack yourself. After fifteen more minutes of gruesome fighting, you finally land the dealing blow on the last of the goons. You think you did until you see him get up again. At this point, you're bleeding from too many places to count, and you can barely hold yourself up, let alone attack again. So you brace yourself for an attack that never comes. You open your eyes and realize that the enemy couldn't even handle the quirk booster in his system anymore, passing out from the strain. Thank God. The adrenaline wears off, and you pass out, lying in a pool of your own blood. The only thing you can think of before you're out is Shouto and his smile. That day you two went to the aquarium was really fun.
When you come to, you're in a hospital bed. You blink, trying to adjust to the light. You dart your eyes around, observing your surroundings. Is it over? You think, before slowly sitting up. Your wounds don't hurt as much as you thought they would.
You later learn from the Doctor that you had been asleep for almost two days. She also tells you that since your injuries seem to be healing well, you should expect to be discharged by tomorrow. And you do along with the others.
You're greeted at the dorms with a warm welcome and a 'great job!' from most. You look around for Shouto and spot him sitting on the couch saying something to Bakugou. You want to talk to him and catch up on things, but maybe that should wait... You opt to talk with Mina and Hagakure instead. (Once again, You fail to notice the boy staring intently at you.)
You decide to retire to your dorm for the night, feeling tired yet relieved. With the whole operation done and Eri saved you felt like you could sleep peacefully--- for the most part. A part of you really wanted to talk to Shouto. It felt so long since you two had done that. He didn't say a word to you today. Was he mad you didn't tell him about the operation? You tried to talk to him after your conversation with Mina and Hagakure, but by the time you finished, he was gone. You let out a sigh and wait for the elevator.
"(Name)." You turn around to face the white and red-haired boy. Your heart does a little jump for joy. "Hey, Shouto! It's been a while hasn't it?" You attempt to make small talk, but it seems like he isn't having it at all. The elevator comes, and you both get on. It's silent, but not the comfortable kind. You feel him staring at you. "Is something wrong?" You inquire, smiling politely. "Yeah." Shouto leaves it at that and you turn to face him. "Oh..do you wanna talk about it? I was heading to my room if you wanna come with." He nods, not saying anything else until you close your room door.
"So..What's up?" You ask, tilting your head slightly. You take a seat on your bed and pat the spot next to you, motioning the boy to sit. He does. Shouto doesn't know where to start. He doesn't know what to say, so he just exhales and lets all his feelings pour out.
"You...When you first began your work-study you got really busy...Which is normal, of course. We didn't get any time to talk to each other anymore, which hurt me a little (A lot). Then the special operation came along, and you got really gloomy. I know why now, but at the time, I didn't. And I didn't expect you to tell me why you were down in the dumps because it was obvious you didn't want to tell me, but it was still hard to watch you be so sad. I hate watching you make such a pained expression, (Name). I felt helpless. I just wanted to make you smile and laugh like you did for me. Whenever I see you smile, it makes me want to smile too. To make things worse, I wanted to talk to you about your feelings, but I froze when I got to your room after hearing you crying. I hate myself for it. I told myself that I would do it the next day, but by then, you were gone. I regret it so much. Fuck, I really wish I had just knocked on the door. And then I heard that you got seriously injured during the mission and it felt like my heart was being clawed out from the inside. I hated that feeling so much, (Name). And honestly, I lied. Not talking to you hurt me a lot, because I love talking to you, (Name). I love..." Shouto stops and looks at you.
You stare at him for a while, processing everything he said. "I didn't know you felt that way, Shouto." You moved closer to the boy before placing your hand on his. "I...felt the same way, for the most part. I hated not talking to you as much, too. And also, I did want to tell you about everything. In fact, you were the only person I wanted to talk about it to. But I couldn't. But I should've at least talked to you on a general level. Also, I didn't know you heard me crying, hehe. You shouldn't blame yourself for not coming in. You were going to come the next day, weren't you? It was just bad timing. And I love making you smile too. For me, just being around you is usually enough to lift my spirits too. During the operation, and even in my fight, I was thinking about you. So don't blame yourself, Shou."
Shouto just stares at you. All he really wants to do is kiss you, but he stops himself because he's unsure and anxious. He doesn't want to ruin things. He likes you too much to run that risk.
But when you intertwine your fingers with his, lean in, and press a chaste kiss to his lips, Shouto stops denying himself heaven and crashes his lips against yours.

Anxious footsteps pace throughout your family's home for the entirety of the day. Nearly every room had been refurbished and decorated with new exquisite objects; vastly different from the usually peaceful and simplistic setting that you were used to. Expensive paintings and unique ornaments are strung along the walls, refining your home while, in the process, making you feel out of place. Various cleaners were brought to help tidy the house while other drastic measures were taken for one 'special' day. Your mother meticulously scrutinized every detail, checking to make sure each nook and cranny was spotless. It took days of countless trial and error for her to feel a sense of security in the newly renovated home. However, while your mother was satisfied with the results, you strongly hated them.
The home you first entered as a newborn and took your first steps into adulthood had been uplifted and changed before your eyes. Of course, your mother wouldn't listen to any of your whining or complaints. Always shutting down your questions or ignoring you when you try to inquire about her strange decisions. By now, you were used to her being dismissive about each of her design choices. When she asked you to assist her in the final preparations, you weren't fazed by her skittish demeanor; she'd been acting like this since the beginning. The whole day was spent cooking and finalizing the decor of your home until your mother could breathe a sigh of relief.
When asking your mother why the preparations were so intricate and time-consuming, as she sliced some vegetables for a stew, she replied:
"The Todoroki Family will be coming over tonight for dinner." She explained her desire to make your home welcoming for them. It had been some years since you had seen the entire family together, specifically the patriarch, Todoroki Enji.
Natsuo and Fuyumi became familiar faces in your family home over the past few months. It was a kind gesture; they would always make sure to stop over and greet your parents after making a brief stop in your town. The eldest brother, Touya, would write you letters despite being detained in Tartarus. After all these years, you had forgotten his face. It wasn't until you saw his arrest on the news a few years ago that you realized how deeply you missed him. Seeing his reappearance made you emotional but after receiving some of his handwritten letters, you felt more at ease although haunted by his actions. Finally, he paid the unfortunate price for his villainous crimes.
The only member of their family you were excited to see was Shoto.
Years have passed since he graduated from U.A. High School and was now working as a pro-hero and sidekick for his father, Endeavor. Patrolling and training seemed to take a toll on his ability to see you. Being an understanding best friend, you decided not to bother him about his busy schedule since it was something he did not have control over. The time he couldn't spend in person was made up with your late-night calls that would continue until the early hours of the morning. Often, you would fall asleep while still on the phone with him and the dulcet sounds of your snoring lulled his tired body to sleep.
He always gave you updates about every detail of his life. From the villains he captured, to some shenanigans with his buddies from high school. Rei, his mother, seemed to adore you the most out of all the family members — besides Shoto, of course. On one of the last moments you spent with him, he invited you to visit his mother at her new apartment after being released from the hospital. Upon seeing you, her whole face brightened as she beamed a smile and embraced you in her arms. Pinching your cheeks and commenting about how much you've grown since she'd last seen you, Rei was ecstatic. It had been many years since you witnessed her smile, and your heart warmed at the loving woman.
Lately, Rei has been scheduling friendly dates with you in an attempt to get to know you better. You felt a bit guilty for not contacting her while she was hospitalized, but she didn't seem to mind. She would always drop subtle hints about Shoto's affections for you; how his eyes would light up whenever she mentioned your name, how he loves to boast about you to others, or when he becomes saddened when thinking about the little time you two have spent together. To anyone, it seemed like she wanted you two to eventually date but you always brushed it off. Thinking it was her being overly friendly or sharing some light banter, you quickly ignored her ideas. The son of the number one hero could have anyone he wanted, why would he settle for you?
After finishing the preparations, your mother waited patiently by the front door. Occasionally checking her wristwatch while fidgeting anxiously, sometimes pacing back and forth throughout the room. There were only a couple minutes left before the time was nine o'clock. As you watched her, you decided to ask her how she was feeling.
"Is everything alright, Mom?" You asked as you sat only a few feet away from her in a nearby chair.
"Yes. I'm just happy to see an old friend again." Yet, as you examined her demeanor, it was quite clear that she was not 'happy'. In fact, she seemed to emit a sense of dread with her strained facial expression. You decided it was best not to question her too much. After wiping her sweaty palms and checking her watch, she ushers you to stand next to her by the door.
Soon, the ringing doorbell brings you out of your thoughts. Your mother exhales a tense sigh before unlocking the door. Your parents' former employer and close friend Endeavor, along with three of his children, greet your mother. She shyly bows and welcomes the family before stepping back to allow them inside. You can't hear some of the words exchanged between her and Enji, a bubbling excitement of seeing Shoto overpowers your senses. You courtly bow to their father who only responds with a few words of acknowledgment. He's dressed surprisingly formal for a friendly meeting, donning a navy blue suit and tie.
Looking back at the preparations, this had to be more than a light-hearted reunion of old friends. As you moved toward his children, your mother announces something to their father.
"Enji, I'd like to discuss something in a separate room." Your mother says, again fidgeting with her sweaty palms.
"Of course." Leading Enji to another room, your mother soon disappears and leaves you with the task of interacting with the siblings.
You try to give Natsuo and Fuyumi casual hugs after they've removed their coats and shoes. Fuyumi peppers your cheeks with sisterly kisses before handing you to Natsuo who eagerly wraps his arms around you and engulfs you in a strong hug. Lifting you off the ground and spinning before placing you on your feet. They soon maneuver to your living room, since they've both practically memorized the layout of your home; knowing the routine of your family like clockwork.
Next, you move to Shoto, failing to see his twitching brows and deadpan expression as he watches his overly affectionate siblings. You give him a big embrace which he eagerly returns. He chuckles to himself as you have to stand on the tips of your toes to hold him properly; he's grown so much since your last visit. "I've missed you so much..." you whisper into his chest. Pulling you tighter and nuzzling his face into the crook of your shoulder, he could feel his warm heart swell with happiness once having you in his arms again — he's missed your hugs.
He pats your head before letting his hand trail down your lower back, "I've missed you too." After whispering in your ear, he pulls you away, wanting to get a look of your beauty after all these years.
Shoto has been your best friend since you two were children. Always training together and even attending the same school for a brief period of time; you two were inseparable. Shortly after Enji became a hero, your parents began working under his agency. In fact, it was his father who proposed the idea of having you two practice with each other, to which your parents happily agreed. Although you're grateful for Enji's suggestion, the pain he caused Shoto was something you could never forgive him.
Vivid memories replay of Shoto being forced to endure brutal training until his poor body couldn't handle the pain anymore. He soon collapsed on the ground, vomiting up whatever bile was left in his stomach. Enji couldn't spare an ounce of compassion for the son he forcibly groomed into a hero, he left the room as if nothing happened. You rushed towards Shoto, cradling the boy in your arms and trying to keep him from going unconscious until aid arrived. Shoto doesn't remember too much from that day, only waking up in your arms after you nursed him back to health; the angel who saved him, what he thinks of you.
Making his cursed life tolerable with your presence. Your existence brought him peace of mind from that day forward. Drunk on a strange blossoming feeling that made his heart ache whenever you were gone. The years had been cruel to him and the sound of your voice could only do so much. Shoto has been thinking about this day, picturing it in his head before he dozes off to sleep.
Your father, one of the first of many sidekicks under his agency, had a fire quirk. One that easily surpassed Endeavor and could compete with Touya's. While your mother had a strong water quirk, although she was not a pro-hero under his agency and instead dealt with the paperwork. After they married, you weren't aware of this, but Enji was strongly encouraged to find someone with a similar quirk to your mother. Inevitably, he settled with Rei, ice that could compliment his fire.
Perhaps it was a competition to him, your father could've exceeded Enji. Having an ice quirk was no match for a water quirk. He must've known that his place as the number two hero could've been taken by your father — or anyone for that matter — and needed to have strong offspring to compete. Although he was overly excited with Shoto's quirk, once learning that you also had a very similar dual quirk, his joy soon dissipated; half-fire and half-water. Enji needed his legacy to live on and he could sense imminent failure for Shoto. Training together allowed him to observe you and mold his son to defeat you in the future, he thought.
Enji's dominant ways became a nuisance and within a few years of training with Shoto, you decided to abandon your hopes of becoming a hero. If it meant witnessing never-ending abuse and torment, you did not want to call yourself a hero. Although you were young, you were aware that no person could think of themselves as a 'hero' while inflicting pain on their family. You couldn't associate yourself with such a bad influence. That was something Shoto admired about you; never tolerating his father and uplifting him when he was weak.
You knew that Enji was trying to rekindle things with his broken family. Yet seeing the two of them act content with each other was shocking to you. Especially after hearing Shoto continuously demean his father on the phone, even on the night before this meeting.
"How is your father doing?" He asks once his arms are completely off of your body.
"Oh, he's been well. His health is improving, he's doing a lot better than before." Although you tried not to show your emotions, it was quite painful for you to talk about your father.
One year ago, your father was left bedridden after a fight with a villain. Ultimately leaving him unable to move and with some injuries that weakened his ability to use his quirk, forcing him into early retirement. Your mother quit her job as a secretary for Enji, claiming that she needed to spend more time at home with your father and take care of him. While you dealt with college, you weren’t able to dedicate time to help him.
“I’m sorry I haven’t been able to see you often since your father became ill.” Shoto apologizes while hanging his head low in pitiful shame. “I promise I’ll make it up in the future.” You gently caress his arm to reassure him.
“Don’t worry about that too much. Let’s focus on tonight, okay?”
“I suppose…"
Reaching for his hand, you usher him to your living room where Natsuo and Fuyumi have already made themselves comfortable. Walking in the stiff clothes your mother forced you to wear is proven to be quite difficult. The white garment flows past your thighs and stops at your ankles. You nearly trip in the tight shoes, making Shoto reach out and hold you before you embarrassingly fall. Although you've grown accustomed to joining your parents in certain arrangements, you've never worn clothing like this before as they are usually reserved for more special occasions. Pins and accessories poke your scalp uncomfortably. Your hairstyle makes you nauseous; an old-fashioned style that no one your age is still wearing. Of course, you weren't allowed to complain.
After meeting his siblings in the living room, you sit on the end of the sofa with them. Shoto eyes Natsuo, who is relaxing in a seat dangerously close and adjacent to you. His older brother seems to read his scowl perfectly, moving away to allow Shoto to forcibly sit next to you. Time seems to flow fast as the four of you chat about nonsense and random memories. During the whole conversation, Shoto's firm hand mysteriously finds its way to your lower back again — wrapping tighter once he felt Natsuo coming too close.
Before you could question him, your mother appears with Enji. Puffy, bloodshot eyes and a wet face ruin her perfectly done makeup. As you are about to inquire about her appearance, she begins to speak.
"Sorry for the delay. We've prepared some food for you all to enjoy, follow me." She turns towards the direction of the dining room with Enji trailing behind her. The siblings all raise to their feet and soon accompany your mother to the room.
"May I hold your hand?" Shoto, who is still close to you, inquires while peering down at you with a sharp gaze.
"Sure," Nodding before intertwining your figures with Shoto, you watch as he smirks brightly. Soon stepping in front of you and leading you towards the rest of the group.
The large dining room table is covered with different Japanese dishes, most you've never seen your mother make before. You could recall helping her cook some of them and the endless hours it took before you completed everything. While the family took their seat, with Enji sitting in your father's position at the head of the table, you try to choose a seat next to Fuyumi. Until Shoto courteously pulls out a chair beside him and stares at you with full expectation. Not wanting to deny his chivalrous acts, you thank him and sit.
During dinner, his older siblings gleefully engaged in another conversation about old times. Reminiscing over every detail and their plans for the future. Natsuo landed a job as a nurse practitioner only a few weeks ago while Fuyumi shared stories about her students. Enji and your mother were quiet, only interjecting when necessary. Your mother's plate seemed to stay full as time passed, only picking at the food. This was unlike her usual behavior at dinnertime. Shoto was the same, except happily eating and staying content with your presence beside him. Only a couple times would he speak, and his replies were short. You weren't fazed much, he was the type to only speak when spoken to or if he had a lingering thought in his head.
Before your time comes to an end, your mother excuses herself and travels to the kitchen. Lost in laughter, you and Fuyumi giggle as Natsuo recounts a particularly embarrassing moment from Shoto's childhood; you eagerly listened to the story as it was a rare moment that all the siblings spent time together. Only after you begin to relax do you notice a frown spread across Shoto's lips. You were dismissive. It was only playful teasing between brothers, right?
"I'm sorry for being busy." Shoto suddenly says after he's finished his last bite of food.
"It's fine, you don't have to keep apologizing. Look at the bright side, we're making memories now. We can always make more in the future." The future, he thinks. The only future he can think of is the one that always replays in his lovestruck mind. Smiling to himself, you assume he's already beginning to feel better.
Your mother emerges from the kitchen, placing a large plate of cold soba noodles in the center of the table — right in front of Shoto. Despite being full, he eagerly tries the noodles while the rest of his family waits for him to taste them first. After all, how could he reject his favorite dish? You helped your mother prepare the noodles after Fuyumi insisted on teaching you Shoto's favorite dish. She claimed it would be a nice welcome present for him after he was away for so long.
With every bite, his face lights up the more he consumes it. Soon, his siblings gladly take bites of the noodles as well while Enji and your mother watch.
"What do you think, Shoto? (Y/N) made it all by herself." Your mother announces loud enough to catch his attention and makes sure to enunciate her last sentence.
"W- Well, I was only following Fuyumi's instructions. She deserves all the credit." Trying to act humble didn't seem to work on his persistent sister. You could notice your mother making a face at your words.
"Nonsense!" Fuyumi chirps, catching you off-guard. "You're such a wonderful cook and Shoto loves it too. Right, Shoto?" Her head turns to her younger brother who has finished his plate of your noodles already.
"I do. You did a great job, (Y/N)." He nods along with his sister before softly grinning at you. "It tastes perfect,"
"See? He loves it! You made it the way he likes. Just for Shoto..." Behind her glasses, you could see her eyes darken as she finished speaking. Only for her to innocently smile at you before tasting your noodles and exclaiming more praises. "It's so delicious. Try some more, Natsuo!"
"O- Oh... Thank you, Fuyumi," You turn your head towards her younger brother. "And Shoto..."
As the two siblings initiate a conversation with your mother and Enji, you could notice Shoto begin to shift toward you. He reaches for your chopsticks before collecting some of the noodles between them. He calls your name and raises the food to your lips. As you take a bite, you smile up at Shoto who returns your gesture while watching you eat. Once you've finished chewing, he takes a napkin and dabs the corners of your mouth while gazing down lovingly.
The longer your night continued, the more heads grew tired. After dinner ended, Natsuo helped your mother clean and tidy the kitchen while Enji excused himself. Fuyumi followed him to the front door and urged Shoto to come with her; although, he seemed more agitated that he wouldn't have any alone time with you. The time is nearly eleven o'clock, and soon you start to wonder when they would return home. Enji announces that he is leaving for the night after his chauffeur hands Fuyumi, Shoto, and Natsuo small suitcases bags.
As the siblings talk, you grow more and more confused. They didn't seem too bothered by the ticking clock and stayed still as if they had no intention of leaving. Shoto's hand moves from your palm to your lower back; you've grown accustomed to his touchy gesture and you decide to ignore it.
"U- Um... Is your father coming back to take you guys home?" You ask but all the siblings, besides Shoto, stare up at you in a confused manner.
"No, we're staying over tonight. Didn't your mother tell you? It was her idea, she kept insisting." Before Natsuo could reveal too much, Shoto interrupts him.
"Natsuo, you-" He glares up at his older brother while you feel his fingers clench around your skin. The clicking of your mother's heels makes him pause his sentence.
"My apologies for the wait. The rooms are ready, right this way." Your mother motions for them to come with her. As she walks up the staircase, she begins to speak again. "There are two extra rooms. Fuyumi, you will take (Y/N)'s room for the night. Natsuo and Shoto can have the other two rooms."
You tried to fathom her directions, but they didn't make any sense. If there are two extra rooms, why would Fuyumi need yours? Couldn't Natsuo and Shoto share while Fuyumi has the other? Perhaps the brothers want their own space, you didn't mind being with Fuyumi anyways. But as your mother reaches the top of the staircase and opens the door to your room, you realize that you are mistaken.
Although your room maintains the same orientation, all of your personal items are missing. The essential products that you use almost every day are nowhere to be found. Most of your decorations have been removed, leaving the walls bare and empty. Any of your medication, skincare, and some other sentimental belongings are gone. Either changed or disappeared. but they were here when you woke up this morning. Almost as if your room was ransacked while you were busy.
Before you could ask, your mother leads Fuyumi into the room. She sets down her suitcase on the ground before making herself comfortable on your bed. Soon, your mother closes your bedroom door before taking Natsuo to his simple guest room next door. The older brother thanks your mother and locks his door as well.
She ushers Shoto to another spare guest room next to Natsuo. When opening the door to Shoto's room, you notice one unmistakable detail — there's only one bed. Logically, this meant you had to share a room with Fuyumi, right? Your mother wouldn't dare allow you to sleep in one bed with any of the brothers... right?
The room is decorated with a few potted plants, dim lamps, and a small desk area. You're reminded of his dorm room when he attended U.A a few years ago. Except, his futon is replaced with a king-size canopy bed. White and gold sheets cover the mattress while a see-through curtain drapes over the frames. Fluffy silk pillows entice your heavy eyelids.
"Shoto, this will be your room. Wait here and get comfortable, alright?" Shoto seems pleased with the scenery. He nods at your mother before entering and closing the door.
Turning away from your mother, you walk towards your room — or Fuyumi's room.
"Where do you think you're going?" Snapping your head around, you see your mother clenching her fists with an unreadable facial expression, but you could tell that she is angry.
"I'm sharing a room with Fuyumi... aren't I?"
"No." Harshly grabbing your wrists, she leads you to your walk-in wardrobe before shutting the door. You're too dazed to process everything, barely noticing where she has taken you until it's too late.
So, you're not sharing a room with Fuyumi. There was no way you were sharing one with Natsuo or Shoto. Perhaps you would sleep on the couch? Or in your parents' room? Although your father always hated letting you see him in such a weakened state. She forcibly removes your clothing and shoes off of your body and hastily throws them in a pile of clothes that covers the whole room. Your mother isn't usually this disorganized, and her disheveled state warns you that something is wrong. The pestering feeling that you've tried to ignore can no longer remain quiet.
"Where will I be sleeping?" You meekly ask as she finally finds the piece of clothing that she has spent the whole time searching for.
"In Shoto's room." She holds up a long cream-colored, sheer négligée to your body and imagines how the clothing would fit before slipping the thin fabric over your head.
As you stare in the mirror, you can't help but gasp. Thanks to your brassier and panties, most of your 'sensitive' areas are covered but your arms and legs are exposed to the unusually cold air. A state of panic ran through your veins. You were expected to sleep in Shoto's room wearing this. A room with only one bed. The worst possible outcomes began to fill your head, it sounded sick and nonsensical. Although he was your dear friend, you knew that your mother would never agree to do something like this.
"Isn't this a bit too revealing to wear around him?" You were met with an unwavering silence that caused your heart to beat faster in your chest. "Mom... you've been acting strange all day. Please just talk to me. This- This doesn't make any sense... Why are you doing this?"
"Why can't you just cooperate for once and stop asking questions?" A scowl forms across her face, slowly getting annoyed. Your lips press together, you want to trust your mother... but you can't.
As you scan her face through the mirror, you realize that she is hiding more than anger behind her emotions. Tears swell in your eyelids but you aren't sure why. Her actions couldn't soothe your never-ending anxiety. She begins working on your hair, removing the pins stuck between your strands before giving you a simplistic style. After finishing, she lightly sprays some sweet-smelling luxury perfume. Your mother seems nearly done with her odd preparations, you unclench your jaw and start to speak.
"I know you're stressed about something, you can tell me. You're not acting like yourself..." You begin to think she will ignore you again when she checks your attire once more. Until she responds.
"I'm fine. We will be fine. Go spend the night with Shoto, please... Just one night." A brief glance at her and she seems to be pleading with you as you hear the strange tone of her voice. "I will talk to you in the morning."
After looking over your clothes one last time, she forces you out of your underwear and into a lace fabric that leaves you even more anxious. Brewing with embarrassment, you realized that your mother wouldn't offer any comforting words to soothe you. Instead, she checks her wristwatch before furrowing her brows and releases a stressed sigh.
"It's time. Now, go to Shoto's room. Don't run off." She turns her back away from you before motioning you towards the exit. You grab a velvety thick robe and throw it over your shoulders before she could see and leave.
Her hands clasp over her mouth as she holds back pained cries. However, she couldn't stop tears from cascading down her cheeks. Praying to whichever God could hear her for forgiveness. Your mother is deeply sorry, she didn't want this to happen. She hopes you'll be more understanding and forgive her in the morning.
As your feet touch the mahogany flooring, you can’t stop the impending feeling of doom that courses through your veins. Sighing heavily, you contemplate dashing to your room to share it with Fuyumi despite your mother’s warning. Yet, you couldn’t dismiss the idea of his sister knowing why your mother seemed tense. The look Fuyumi gives you during dinner replays in your mind. Perhaps the whole family knew and you were the only one left in the dark. Your hand lingers on the doorknob of Shoto’s room, and you quickly suppress the idea of running away.
Unlocking the door, you tiptoe into the bedroom quietly. At first, you don’t notice him — the bed seemed tidy as if it hadn’t been touched. Gazing around the space, you see Shoto sitting at the small desk while scrolling through his phone. He stops and watches your frame enter the door, eyes widening once he takes in the sight of your attire. His clothes are changed now, a loose white t-shirt and long navy pajama pants.
“Please don’t stare… It’s a bit embarrassing,” Once you finally enter the room, you wrap the robe tighter around your clothes.
“Sorry, my apologies.” Shyly looking elsewhere, he refocuses on his phone again.
You quickly move to the end of the canopy bed, drawing back the sheer curtains before sitting on the plush sheets. Shoto is barely visible through the drapes but his phone light illuminates brightly in the dimly lit room. You were thankful for the fleece robe covering your shoulders and arms, the harsh cold air made goosebumps arise on your skin.
"So... How will we sleep?" Breaking the silence in the room, you ask him after a few minutes pass. Shoto shifts in his chair and the white light from his phone suddenly disappears but is replaced by a lamp.
"Are you nervous about sleeping in the same bed? We've been friends for so long, it won't be a problem for me." He says, you can see his head turn towards you through the curtain.
Normally, you wouldn't care too much about staying in the same room together. He was right, you two were close friends. Yet, as you glance down at your clothing and remember the words of your mother, the tension of the meeting is hard to dismiss.
"I guess I don't mind either but I still feel weird about it," Pausing for a few brief seconds, you release a sigh before continuing. "My mother has been acting strange today. Well, not just today... for the past week." As you speak, Shoto rises from the desk. He moves the curtain out of his path before sitting next to you on the bed. You don't notice his movements until a sharp coldness reaches your skin. "I just feel a bit uneasy, sorry..."
"Don't be," His fingers softly caress your arm, an act you always did to comfort him. "She's probably stressed about seeing my father again."
"I hope..." Your mother did mention being 'happy' about The Todoroki Family visiting. You want to believe his reassurance, but your gut feeling tells you otherwise.
The night seems to fly fast as the two of you talk for a while. Shoto seems more eager to initiate a conversation without worrying about the stress of his nosy siblings. He shares some details about his life after graduating from U.A., most of which you already knew. Immediately after becoming a Pro-Hero, he joined his father's agency and accompanies him on patrol. Most of his free time is spent resting at home during the night, usually when you two would call. On the days he didn't have any work, he would typically visit his mother with Fuyumi and Natsuo.
Various topics are brought up and soon the clock reaches midnight. Shoto seems to have some energy in him, and you decide to continue despite your drowsy eyes. He mentions that he's been feeling lonely because of the mountain of work that has been pushed upon him. Your smile and promises to share your time with him are meaningless to him. He knows, one way or another, you will live up to your words.
"Don't you have someone special in your life?" Your ears perk up as you await his response to the question. Shoto's eyes trail off in the distance as he searches for an answer.
"I do..." He mumbles quietly, initially thinking that you haven't heard him until you happily congratulate him.
"Really? Who is it? Is it someone I know?" Throwing questions at him only made Shoto's smile widen across his lips.
"Don't worry. I'll tell you in the morning," Before you could protest, he speaks again. "And you?"
"Oh... I'm not in a relationship right now." Feeling his heart skip a beat at your response, a weight lifts off of his shoulders... briefly. "But, there is someone that I'm talking to." His amiable demeanor seems to shift as he listens, eyes piercing your frame. "What's wrong..?"
"Nothing... Who is it?"
"You know him, it's Bakugou." Of course Shoto knows who he is. They were once classmates and soon began working at his father's agency together.
"I do, we work together on occasion." His fingers nervously tap against his thigh, trying to release whatever pent-up stress is building in his system. "How long have you been talking to him?"
"Only for a couple weeks. He works at Endeavor's agency, right?" Shoto gives you a small nod to answer your question. "Actually, the first time I met him, I stopped by Musutafu to look for you but he said you were on patrol with your father. We talked for a bit... and got to know each other." A warm heat spread across your face as you felt the temperature of the room begin to rise.
"I see..." Shoto uttered yet a sharp pain in his chest made it difficult for him to speak. He made sure to ask your mother beforehand if you had any other suitors, to which she strongly denied. "Have you two..?
"Have we..?" He peers up at you, hoping that you understood his implication. "Oh, we haven't kissed... or done anything else. I mean I've been too busy with college to be in a relationship." You tried to excuse yourself past the embarrassing situation, but Shoto seemed at ease with your responses.
"I understand. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable." He apologizes as you move to rest your back against a pillow on the bed's headboard.
"It's fine. I don't usually visit too often, just when I'm passing through..." You go on to tell him about the small dates you would arrange with Bakugou during his breaks.
Making him and the other sidekicks bento boxes for lunch, on the same days when Shoto was away. Practically boasting about the trinkets and presents he gifts you, saying that he was reminded of you when buying them. On days when he was free, Bakugou would invite you over to his apartment to cook with him and show some new recipes he was currently trying to perfect.
As Shoto listens to you gushing over his coworker, a spark of anger consumes his entire spirit. Neither Bakugou nor any of the sidekicks he was acquaintances with mentioned you; listening to you ramble about the time you spent with them had shocked him. How did you even manage to befriend Bakugou?
Although his poor temper gradually improved over the years, he wasn't the easiest to approach. This wasn't right, it didn't make any sense. Shoto thought he had done everything to keep a watchful eye over you despite being so far away, only for you to be right under his nose. His temperamental 'friend' wasn't worthy of you, he should be the one in Bakugou's place.
The slow approach he decided to take wasn't successful, someone captured your heart — the place he comfortably resided for many years — and he wouldn't allow himself to be dethroned.
A flicker of flames in the dim room makes your rambling end, you watch as Shoto stares off in the room with his head looking away.
"Are you okay..?" You inquire while watching some of the flames nearly burn through his clothing.
"No, I'm not." His fists clench together before releasing as his body seems to relax briefly.
"What's wrong?"
"Bakugou isn't the type of person you should be dating." Suddenly, his gaze shifts to you with a serious, deadpan expression.
"What do you mean? If you're talking about his anger, it's not an issue. He's been really kind to me."
"No, no... That's not what I mean." Shoto inhales sharply and closes his eyes for a brief moment. "I'm telling you this because you are my closest friend and I deeply care about you," You watch him intently and prepare for his response. "But I've seen other girls at the office with him. Some old classmates, a few sidekicks. He's always flirting with them. Trust me, he brings a new girl over every week."
His entire statement is nothing but lies. The gullible expression on your face tells him that you believed his dishonesty. There was no reason for him to make up stories, you thought. Bakugou isn't 'close' to any of the other sidekicks, at least to his knowledge, Shoto has been the only one he considered a friend. His classmates have visited their agency, but only for work-related business.
Bakugou never mentioned seeing someone, never said your name, or showed you off. So when Shoto heard his name leave your lips, he was obviously shocked. He didn't care too much, Bakugou would never be considered his 'friend' or 'colleague' anymore — it was time for him to be disposed of.
"But... But if that's true, why didn't Moe or the others say anything?" Your features changed from a look of disbelief to pain and denial in a matter of seconds. Shoto truly felt bad, he really did. Yet, he knows you'll feel better in the morning. Call him sadistic, but watching your heartbreak turned him on. He would replace your sadness and bring never-ending joy.
"Knowing the type of person my father is, it's inevitable that his employees would be the same." Perhaps that wasn't valid for the other sidekicks, excluding Shoto.
He was truly elated seeing you become more and more distraught. This was his intention; play with your emotions, leave you fragile and ready to accept him. He didn't mind having to exploit the evil of his father knowing that you disliked Enji as much as he did. Your lips and eyes began to droop, forming a visible frown. Maybe because it was your first petty heartbreak, that's why it felt so bad. You always told yourself that you could overcome meaningless relationships, but the smiles you shared with everyone seemed to hurt the most. It was nothing but a facade and a waste of your time.
"I feel like an idiot..." A few teardrops escaped your eyes and trickled past your cheeks. God, why are you such a crybaby?
His warm side of his body pulls you in closer and embraces you in a smoldering hug. Shoto wasn't exceptionally affectionate, but he hated seeing you cry — especially over other people. He tried to hush your soft sniffles, you were quite pathetic to become emotional over Bakugou since you two weren't even dating. Unless there was something else you didn't share.
"It's okay... It's okay. You don't need someone like him. He wouldn't have treated you right." Your head nuzzles in the crock of your shoulder as the heat from his body washes over you.
As you begin to stop, he peels away from you before gently placing a chaste kiss on your cheek. The salty liquid coats his tongue as you melt into his touch, assuming it was only platonic affection. Of course, it wasn't. The feeling of your skin against his lips sparked something inside of him that he had been waiting patiently for so long. Wanting to be bold and explore further, Shoto trails his light pecks down to the tip of your nose and hovers over your lips. Once you feel him trying to steal a kiss, you push yourself away.
"Sorry, you must be overwhelmed." He removes his arms from your sides, watching as you nod and accept his apology.
The room soon quiets down and the air begins to fill with warmth. Yet, you begin to miss the feeling of his body against yours. Shoto lifts himself off of the bed and disappears to the desk he was originally seated in. You can hear the tapping of plates and metal and soon Shoto appears by your side of the bed. Pushing the curtain away, he reveals a tray of light food in his hands.
"What are these for?" You ask, but he only offers a vague answer.
"In case you become hungry or thirsty. I'll sit by the desk to give you some privacy." He places the tray on your lap before moving back to the desk.
"Oh, thank you."
Shoto takes his phone out of his pocket and begins scrolling aimlessly again. You can see the white light through the sheer drapes, and for a brief second, you wonder what Shoto is busy doing. His fingers dance across the screen, frantically texting his father that he wants Bakugou to be fired by the morning. Speaking of the hothead, your mind runs across him once more. It's still hard to believe Shoto since Bakugou seemed so genuine. Alas, you've only known him for a short time and it is hard to trust someone fully.
You'll talk to Bakugou when you wake up.
While you think about what tomorrow has to offer, you start to feel a strange need to drink. The room starts to fill with immense heat; although half of your body can handle it, thanks to your fire quirk, the other half becomes unbearable. When did it get so hot? The robe on your shoulders starts to feel uncomfortable on your now sticky skin. You remove the clothing from your body, not caring that Shoto would see your lingerie if he was close. For now, you need to cool down. If only he was beside you...
Your eyes peer down at the tray: one glass of water, a cluster of grapes, one pomegranate sliced in half, and a whole apple.
Reaching for the glass, you bring it to your lips and sip all of the liquid. The cup gives you relief from the heat; inside are a few jagged ice cubes. Taking one in your mouth, you finally begin to relax again. When you finish, you place the glass on the tray and scan the contents again. A wave of hunger urges you to eat something, anything, on the plate. You choose the pomegranate, plucking some seeds from the inside before eating them.
Unbeknownst to you, Shoto's eyes have been on your frame since the moment he heard your body shift on the mattress. Smiling to himself once he sees you consume the food he's gifted you. He places his phone down on the desk and rises from his chair.
Before you could finish the fruit, you sense Shoto's presence near the bed. You look up but it's too late, an icy cold grip on your wrist halts your movements. As you stare up at him visibly confused and dazed, he says in a low hushed tone:
"You stole from me, so it's only fair if I take something from you."
"Take something from me? What do you mean..?" You ask, yet he only responds by leaning forward and pressing his lips against yours.
This time, his hand restrains your neck and coaxes you closer to his body — making it difficult to reject him. The familiar flavor of pomegranate coats your taste buds as you feel his tongue slip inside your parted lips. His teeth nip at your flesh until it becomes swollen and a strange metallic sensation mixes on your tongue.
You feel the tray moving on your lap until it's placed elsewhere in the room. Your hands instinctively move to his shoulders as if trying to keep a predator at bay. Shoto's arms envelop your torso, further deepening the kiss until he feels your nerves relax under him. Grazing his tongue across your lips, he soon kneels on an open space in the mattress.
Submitting to his touches, your hands soon trail down to his chest until a hard, rhythmic pulsing of his heartbeat throbs in your palm. The overjoyed hero's body became restless as he felt your contact with his skin; he'd been waiting for this moment for as long as he could remember. To share a kiss with you, his first and he hoped yours as well.
Separating his body with yours, his arms untangled from your body as he placed light kisses along the underside of your jaw to your neck. Ignoring the light hums and soft noises you made from his actions, Shoto's fingers clawed at your flimsy sleepwear that would surely tear off if he wasn't careful. His head nestled atop your shoulder, breathing in your scent and silently cursing your mother for dousing you in nauseating perfume.
"Shoto..." You mewled out weakly as his face presses further against your skin.
"Sorry," He mumbles in a quiet whisper. "I just couldn't hold back anymore..." Sitting in an empty space beside you on the bed, Shoto is reluctant to remove you from his hold as if he is afraid you will flee.
His fingernails stab sharply into the fabric of your clothing and nearly scrape into your flesh. Then, his breathing becomes rigged as he murmurs a few incoherent words. It takes a few minutes for you to understand; the words slipping out of his mouth are endless apologies. Before you could inquire about what was wrong — you weren't angry with his overly affectionate demeanor, only confused — he raises his head, now quiet as his lips tremble as he tries to form some words in his head.
"This isn't the way I wanted it to happen, I was hoping to court you first." You feel a burning sensation on your cheeks, as you peer up at him you notice some flames blazing from the red burn on his eye. Shoto faces you now, however his stare is cast down to your hands which he soon intertwines with his own. "But... I was too late. Now, you're thinking about him, not me... Is there something wrong with me?"
"W- What..? No, Shoto, I think you should calm down." His grip on your hands doesn't falter, instead tightening. A hot tingle from one of his hands engulfs yours, so painful that you're sure it will leave a scar if he doesn't move. "Y- You're hurting me..."
Upon seeing the flash of heat on your hand, he flinches away and begs for your forgiveness. He soothes your pain with his ice and pulls away once you're calm.
"Am I not worthy?" As you try to remind him of his value and deny his acts of low confidence, he stays unfazed. "Then, why haven't you noticed? Do you not think of me the same way?"
"Noticed... what?"
"My love for you, but I suppose you've never felt the same way." It would be a lie for you to claim that you haven't experienced a romantic attraction to him... somehow, you've forgotten after the years passed. "It's my fault, I should've been more direct." He brings your wounded hand to his lips before kissing at the marks. "I've always felt this way since you saved me. We were made for each other, don't you see? I've been gone for too long, perhaps you've just forgotten, right? Let's make up for all our lost time..."
Before you could fully comprehend his words, Shoto's hands move to your shoulders and knead into your muscles; soothing your strained body in order to get you to relax. As some time passes, you begin to slip away into his touch as your head becomes heavy and fills with fog. He releases a pleasing hum, thinking to himself that the profession of his undying love finally swayed your heart — that was not the case. The more you calmed, the further his hands would dip into untouched territory on your body as you succumbed to his caresses.
His knees cage either side of your body as he hovers above you, pressing firmly into cushioning. His warm breath tickles the hairs of your neck, sprouting goosebumps throughout your skin. He stops his hands over your chest to feel your rapidly beating heart; the rhythm nearly matches his own. Whatever ounce of cowardice or fear leaves his tainted spirit. Shoto is certain that now is a perfect time; everything he'd ever wanted was coming true, and the option to retreat is gone. Unfortunately, you are forced to comply with the same sentiments.
Swiftly maneuvering his hands to the hem of your nightwear, Shoto easily peels the fabric off of your body. Coaxing you upwards, he lifts the garment over your arms and head before neatly discarding it elsewhere in the room. His palms tenderly squish the flesh covered by your bra while you instinctively hold onto his wrists. His eyes lovingly glimmer with a look of pure adoration; Shoto takes his time, slowly basking in the feeling of your body in his hands. Your hold on him loosens with every timid touch he gives you.
He leans forward, pressing another breathtaking kiss to silence any protests, which are now nonexistent. The thought of pushing him away is buried by the sense of desperation that emits from his hold and his kiss. His fingers travel behind your back and play with your brassier before unclasping it. Hooking his fingers over your lace panties, both undergarments soon disappear to an unknown location in the room. As you lay bare and exposed to the fluctuating temperatures of the room, he raises himself off the mattress and positions himself behind you with your back resting on his chest.
Stroking your plush thighs, he chuckles after he hears you gasp when his hands graze too close to your opening. His thumb circles around your clit as his other hand travels to your bust and fits perfectly around one, caressing your pebbled skin and teasing your bud. Shoto rests his head perfectly on your shoulder until your cheeks are pressing closely together. You can't see him — too focused on the movement of his arms — but he intently watches your body writhe. Your legs threaten to close once you feel him stroke your hood.
"You know... I've never done something like this before," He barely breathes out as his voice makes a chill run down your spine. There's something in the tone of his voice that sounds abnormal. "You're doing so well..."
Your fingers dig sharply into Shoto's hands, leaving indents in his skin as his thumb meets your sex at an agonizingly slow pace. He seemed to take pleasure in it as you could hear the echo of his soft laughter directly in one of your ears when you became too frustrated.
"Sho... Sho- Can you... faster, please?" Your slurred speech and submissive behavior would have been embarrassing if you were in the right state of mind, but alas that was not the case.
"Hmm? You want me to move faster..?" Upon hearing your hum of approval, he deepens his press against your clit. Partially lifting your hood and exposing your swollen nub to the air. Smiling against your skin, he says, "You're so perfect, just for me... mine."
His middle finger ghosts around your folds, and your core trembles practically begging for him to enter and offer some relief. An immense heat erupts from your body despite none of your quirks being in use. Although Shoto's body is warm, it provides you comfort. There's a need for you to be next to him, to touch him. Your fire quirk is not active, but you feel like you're burning. A small glance around the room and you see no flames erupting from his left side. Your hands raise from his wrists and slide up his arms to push your body closer against him.
Teasing your unnaturally wet slick, Shoto thanks himself for slipping an aphrodisiac inside of the water. Parting your folds with his index and ring fingers, he sinks his middle inside your warm walls soon groaning as they clench around him. "so wet for me, only me. never for anyone else..." He wishes he could feel you tightening on his cock. Unfortunately, you haven't noticed it stiffening behind you. His finger nudges upwards into a gummy section of your walls, eagerly exploring inside.
He leaves kisses and small nips across your nape. Harshly sucking and sinking his teeth into your skin that your mother would surely question you about in the morning. His fingers pump in and out of you; the rhythm is erratic before he nestles in a region of your walls that you seem to enjoy. Stretching you out as much as his thick fingers can, he reaches deeper inside with each thrust. As he grazes across a sensitive area, your feet bury into the duvet.
Trying to swallow your moans proved to be pointless, expletives and slurred mewls of pleasure begin to echo through the walls; a symphony to Shoto's ears but a nuisance to the others inside. One of his hands trails to your exposed breasts. He sharply exhales at the flesh in his palm, tugging on your sensitive bud. Your eyes screw shut when Shoto's thumb rolls across your sensitive clit again, drawing your body nearer to a release. His hand soon moves from your chest to your throat.
Squeezing lightly against your veins until you start to feel dizzy, he pulls you even closer to him and whispers, "call me yours" "say you'll never leave me" "tell me you love me" "say it" "just say it... please". Shoto starts chanting more demands in your ear, hoping in your disoriented state you would listen — even if it was just for tonight. However, he can't perform miracles and his use of power could only take him so far. He released his hold as your lungs began to fill with air again. His fingers move to tightly gasp your chin.
"Sho- Shoto... I..." You stutter before pausing at a sudden pool of warmth rushing to your lower tummy. You want to answer him truthfully, but the new sensation of pleasure on your bottom half overtakes you — or maybe that is what you try to convince yourself.
Feeling your walls begin to spasm, Shoto senses that you're close. A pool of your wetness begins to leak into the duvet and stain the sheets. As your core pulses and contracts around his fingers, you grasp onto his arms. You try to urge him deeper, getting lost in the sensation before you feel him pull away. His finger slips out easily and his thumb disconnects from your clit, denying your climax. A wave of pleasure washes over you as you spasm in his arms even more aroused than before, but it soon fades with his fingers gone.
"Why couldn't you answer?" He surprisingly asks as if the hand locked on your throat gave you any chance to replay. "Do you dislike me that much? Am I so repulsive?" You always knew his esteem was low after he was burned, but you assumed he overcame it. When you try to deny his insecurities, your words are unintelligible with your rapid breathing. He looks away before responding, "Nevermind."
Shoto raises your body and moves from behind you. His demeanor seems agitated, but no less determined than before. He was certain that he would walk out of the room knowing that you adored him the same way he did. It wasn't in his plan to go this far, yet the restless feeling in his chest wouldn't dissipate. You rested backward on the bed, unable to support yourself after sitting up for so long. He peels his clothing from his body revealing his well-toned and sculpted frame from years of hard work.
He kneels on the bed again but this time between your legs. He leans forward until he's eye-level with your pussy after straightening your waist. The first time he's seen your body so perfect and on display for him. Internally, he congratulates himself for saving your climax until now; a taste is better instead, he thinks.
His lips attach to your inner thighs as he kisses and leaves blue and purple marks against your skin. The pads of his fingers massage your flesh, occasionally making it tremble weakly in his palms. Every sensation that touches your body makes you crave Shoto more, you're certain that it is purely from arousal and not romantic emotions. It was obvious to you what he wanted by now.
His hot breath tingles your heat, smirking when he sees your slit spasm. Disappearing between your thighs, you feel him do kitten licks on your pearl before flattening his tongue and doing a long lap at your folds. Unable to hold back his pure excitement, he collects your essence on his wet muscle, so eager for a taste. A sting of your wetness and his saliva connect before breaking as he pulls away. Swirling his tongue on your clit, Shoto darts across your bud a few times before savoring whatever oozes out of you.
Noises inside the room are nothing but pure filth, you pray that no one can hear. His head peaks up to see your expression of pure ecstasy and bliss. When you lock eyes with him, you notice his chin and lips stained with a clear mixture of your juices. Tangling your fingers in his hair, your hand nudges him deeper towards his entrance to chase after a release as heat travels down below your tummy.
He focuses on your bud; sucking at the sex and repeating once he feels your fingers tug and scratch his scalp. Another thick finger soon enters again making your walls contract. As your back arches off the bed and your toes curl around themselves, heat emits from your body; expletives and moans leave your throat. You no longer cared about his family hearing, it was surely too late now.
His hands press your hips further into the mattress, trying to keep your shifting body still. Soon, a gush of your release leaks onto his tongue as he eagerly catches every drop; unwinding and finishing on Shoto's face. His lips glisten with clear sticky liquid as he helps you ride out your orgasm. While you pant and steadily lose your grip on his hair, he presses further into your mound and licks your slick clean.
Shoto pulls away from your lower half while you watch as he raises himself proudly. Peering down at you and grinning to himself, obviously happy that he could make you orgasm. He repositions his hips between your legs, easily parting your tired and numb thighs. You haven't caught a good look at his length but when you glimpse down, you see it. It's so pretty. Perfectly trimmed half-white and half-red hair and it seemed well-groomed for the occasion. Of course, this was all a planned meeting.
When he notices you staring, a pink blush spreads across his cheeks and ears. Shoto doesn't think it's much but you believe otherwise. Unsure what to do with your hands, you rest them over your heart until they are near to your face and chin. His tip glides over your opening, prodding over your hole gently and holding your waist as he starts to sink in.
His cock buries deep inside your cunt, swallowing him whole inch by inch. Cries of pain ring in Shoto's ears as his girth stretches you apart. Your eyes clench shut for a second and when they reopen his face is only a few inches away from yours. His hands hook under both of your legs, pushing them close to your chest while whispering something about how it will feel better this way. His eyes are filled with lust, twinkling before colliding his lips with yours. A taste of your essence still remains on his tongue. Trying to soothe your cries, he muffles them with his passionate kisses.
Slowly, he finally bottoms out of your warm region; only pulling away from your lips when you tighten around him. Your eyes close once again as you try to find subtle acts to suppress the pain. Shoto doesn't seem to approve of this, though.
"Darling, couples should look in the eye when they make love to each other..." Icy fingers wrap around your chin and forcefully tilt your chin until he is the only thing in your view. His eyes glisten with pure adoration while yours are unreadable. Perhaps it was the opposite — fear or disdain.
You aren't sure. Shoto, however, convinces himself that you have the same affections. The euphoric state of pleasure he's in from being with you clouds his mind. Couples? You want to question him but his hold on your jaw is tight and unwavering. It locks your mouth in place until you can lightly mumble one word...
"Shoto..."
He shushes you and nuzzles his face in the crook of your neck as he fills you completely. A deep sensation of pressure along your walls brings you nothing but discomfort. Soon raising his hips, his cock glides out of your slick-covered core as he thrusts gently. Massaging your walls, as his tip rubs along a sensitive spot a small feeling of pleasure comes — lackluster compared to the girth of his cock. It was much bigger than most you've seen or encountered in your life; you haven't seen it, but you're sure it's one of the few things he's inherited from his father.
As you wince in pain, he says, "i'll try and go easy..." It's clear and audible but spoken behind gritted teeth and nearly slurred like he's holding his composure. You needed to be molded perfectly, fitting in his arms like a lost piece of a jigsaw puzzle. Just for him. Just for the first night, at least.
He starts at a gentle, slow pace. Each thrust brings a gradual and deeper feeling of bliss that diminishes your initial discomfort. The grunts and low moans he makes directly in your ear coaxes you into enjoying. For a moment, you forget about your lack of consent to this. You envelop him so perfectly that it's hard for Shoto to hold back as he begins to hasten and deepen his sloppy thrusts inside your pussy. His arms wrap around your body, bringing you closer to him until your chests are pressing directly on each other.
"Squeezin' me so fuckin' tight, princess..." A tone that sounds nothing like the Shoto you know. But then again, he seems so pussy-drunk, you aren't sure anymore.
As his pace becomes more frantic and desperate to release his own essence, you feel a familiar coil in your heart threaten to loosen. Your nails dig and claw at Shoto's back; you miss seeing his elated expression just out of the corner of your eye. You've finally marked him too and claimed him as yours, he thinks. His hips roll against your spot once more, making you moan and utter, "oh- fuck, sho- m' gonna..!"
"Let it out for me, don't hold back" His eyes never leave your face, waiting and watching patiently. "you wanna cum on my cock, don't you?" "jus' mine, only for me..." "you love my cock, you do...'
Nodding and responding with a muffled and pitched hum, "mm..!" You've succumbed to his wishes tonight.
"Say it, you love me..."
"I... I love you, Shoto." Staring up at you with full expectation, there wasn't any possible way for you to avoid him.
Pleased with your response, he returns with newfound vigor. Hungry lust for more is evident with his energetic thrusts; rutting deep and knocking the steel bedframe into the wall. Trailing his hand down to your clit, he massages the swollen bud until your walls flutter around and a warm gush of clear liquid covers his shaft. Panting into his skin, you suck him deeper into your entrance as Shoto savors the feeling and hopes for more.
He doesn't slow down, not even after you've calmed down from your high. Instead gripping your chin and forcing you to stare at him again. His eyes are now glowing differently than before as an eerie smile creeps across his lips. He's so happy to hear you say the words he's been waiting for since the start of the night. You were right before, this isn't the Shoto you know. The one you trained with, the one you spent your entire childhood with. The glimmer in his eyes soon turns dark and lovestruck as if you're the only being of importance.
"You... love me? You do... You do..." He chants more nonsensical words again but you're unable to pay attention with the overstimulation giving you too much pleasure after your high. "You do... Mine. My other half..." His speech nearly matches the rhythm of his thrusts, frantic and needy. Trying to speak does you no good; he can't hear you over his own voice, anyways.
Repeating his words in a sinister fashion as if he's doing some sort of ritual. His giddy voice sounds as if he's excited that you've reciprocated his love, finally. Shoto bites down on your neck until a metallic taste coats his tongue. Grunting loudly before his muscles seize up and his hot breath tickles your neck with his heavy panting. His chest rises and falls rapidly as he paints your walls white and spills his seed deep inside. He stays resting on top of your chest for a couple minutes to make sure nothing leaks out.
"You're always so good to me, (Y/N)... You've always loved me when no one else has." He says through his exhales. "I was a little rough," Finally, he sees the marks and bites scattered across your skin. "I'm sorry, I got desperate but I'm happy you can listen to me now."
As he pulls out, some cum leaks between your folds. He collects it with his finger and pushes it deep inside your heat. Shoto tries showing his finger covered in white essence to you, "look, this means we're united forever... no matter what happens, we'll always be together, won't we? you won't leave me... right?"
Your lack of response makes him brim with anxiety but when he looks at you, he sees how exhausted you are. Your head is tilted to the side as your eyes threaten to close. Soon, your breathing becomes steady and your hold on his body weakens. Shoto moves off of you until he lays to your side, wrapping his arms around your waist and kissing your neck as you drift off to sleep.
"I guess it's wearing off... you'll be asleep for a while." He whispers while clinging to your body. "I wanted to talk about the future, our future. But I'll have to wait until the morning..." The soft sounds of your snoring soon echo through the walls. "Good night, my love."
Tumblr media
Chirping birds at the crack of dawn. Orange-purple hues paint the sky's blank canvas. Finally, it's morning. You would've seen each of these scenic treasures if you waked up earlier. Instead, as if you didn't have a care in the world, you slept in. Far past the times you usually wake up when dealing with college. Shifting peacefully under the bed's white duvet, your body easily nestled into the soft cushion. You didn't want to wake up, at least not right now. It wasn't until the morning sunshine bled through the curtains and brightened the entire room, you didn't have a choice now.
Your arms felt around the space next to you only to discover that there was nobody there. As you lift your heavy eyelids, you realize that Shoto was missing; only an imprint of his body remained in the sheets. Trying to move only brought severe pains throughout your body: your arms, legs, neck, head, and in between your thighs. You didn't forget the events of the previous night, how could you? Each mark on your body was a reminder of that.
Sitting up in the bed, you tried looking for your phone but it was nowhere to be found. Did you even bring it with you when you stayed in the room with Shoto? You hadn't used it the entire evening. It was left somewhere in your room, but you had not seen it when your mother brought Fuyumi into your room. Perhaps one of them knew its location. You planned on calling Bakugou to ask him about the other 'girls' Shoto said he was messing with but you soon decide to do it later.
A nearby digital clock atop the dresser presents the time; it is nearly eleven in the morning. It was quite unusual for you to sleep so long since you've been waking up early for college. A head-splitting migraine brings you out of your thoughts, compared to last night you finally feel normal again but with pains in your body. Next to the clock is a note and clothing. You walk to the dress and hold the piece of paper to read it closely:
'Please get dressed with these and meet us in the living room.' Written neatly in Shoto's handwriting.
Under the note is a pair of wide-legged pants and a crisply ironed blouse. You get dressed in the clothes provided, not thinking too much about why they are here. You're only grateful that you don't have to wear flimsy lingerie. Before you leave the room, you check yourself in the mirror. You try desperately to cover or conceal any of the bruises left on your body and tidy up your appearance.
When you finally exit, you see Natsuo leaving his room with his belongings, ready to depart. He looks up and sees you, smiling widely before approaching you in a friendly demeanor.
"Good morning, Natsuo." You say, finally acknowledging him. He responds with the same greeting before continuing.
"We missed you during breakfast." Ah, you were sleeping for that long. "Shoto said you were really tired last night when I asked him."
"Yeah... I guess." You try not to do anything awkward but soon your face heats up as your face makes a guilty expression. "So... How did you sleep last night?" He chuckles to himself and seems to turn red.
"I slept fine, but... You and Shoto... Made a little too much noise." As if your morning couldn't get any more embarrassing. Natsuo's eyes shift to exposed marks on your skin.
"I'm so, so sorry..! I didn't mean- We didn't mean to disturb you..!"
"It's fine, really. You two are newlyweds now and it was your first night together, right? You guys really couldn't wait, huh?" Wait... newlyweds? Maybe you misheard, or it was some old-fashioned way of saying you were dating Shoto. You didn't want to think that, but then again, friends don't do things like that and keep the same platonic feels. "It's getting late, everyone is leaving soon." He checks the time on his phone before lifting his things. "The family is waiting for you downstairs. I can walk you to them if you'd like."
You shyly nod, not wanting to seem rude. As you and Natsuo walk down the staircase, you can hear the chatter of people in the living room. You can recognize your mother's voice amongst the sound. Natsuo reveals that Fuyumi is waiting outside, but he thinks it's best if you meet Shoto first. When you reach the end of the stairs, you see your mother, Enji, and Shoto nearby in the living room.
"I have to get going, but I'll see you soon." He smiles brightly at you and waves before heading for the front door.
Turning your head, you see the three of them sitting on the couch. Various papers cover the large coffee table and Enji writes his signature on one of the papers. Shoto is given the pen from him and begins to sign on another free space, just under his father. Other signatures are written on the page. As you approach, your mother notices you and quickly stands. The two men seem alerted by her sudden movements and halt.
Shoto and his father watch as she pulls you out of the room and down the hall, away from everyone.
"Why is Enji here?" You ask your mother, hoping that she doesn't ignore your questions for once. Of course, you're wrong. But this time she reaches out to clasp your hands tightly. You try to move past her and walk back into the living room; something isn't right. She blocks your view.
"Look at me." When you do, you notice her glossy eyes and trembling hands. Her grip is tight but every few seconds it seems to loosen as her lips quiver in a frown. "I'm sorry, I wish I could've told you sooner... I wanted to but your father didn't think it would be a good idea."
"You... You spoke to him? When?" Your father always hated letting you see him in his ill state. He always avoided you, limiting himself to their bedroom and only leaving when you were away. Your mother takes a deep breath and continues.
"That's not important. From now on, you will be living with Shoto and his family..."
"I- I don't understand. Why am I staying with them? I can't... I want to stay with you and Dad." Then, as if the gears in your mind finally start working, you realize. "Is that the reason why you brought them over? You did all this work to the house just to impress them? And then make me live with them?"
You were partially correct. This wasn't to impress the patriarch or any of his older children. This was for the youngest, who demanded everything to be perfect for this day. He chose this design, it was based on the home he prepared for you two to live in. Perhaps Shoto thought it was kind to let you experience your new life for one night rather than to throw you in blind. Remove all of your sentimental value from this measly home until it was unrecognizable, the only thing to conquer next was your parents. The torture from knowing your home was now a reminder of your absence seemed painful enough.
"Yes, it is. Recently, it's been hard for us to manage his medical bills. Nobody here is working, it was getting harder each day and his condition has been worsening for the past few months." If it was money, you could've found a job somewhere. It wouldn't be much but it would have helped.
"But... What does that have to do with me moving?"
"Please, forgive me. Don't be angry, okay? This isn't punishment." She waits for your hesitant nod and speaks again. "Shoto must've heard about your father's illness from someone close. I'm not sure, I've never told anyone. He offered to convince Enji to help financially. They'll cover the hospital bills and transfer your father to a better doctor. Except, for an exchange, your hand in marriage."
The rest of your mother's words seem to fade out of your ears. No, you didn't want to believe it but it all seemed to make sense. She knew, every passing day you spent in this house. She knew, but she never said anything. Instead choosing to ignore you out of fear you would run. She knew last night and chose to keep her mouth shut. That was why she was a hollow shell during dinner last night and her face contorted in disgust and guilt whenever you were alone. You couldn't find any sympathy for her left; at the end of the day, she probably only saw a price tag attached to you.
"You feel betrayed, I know..." She could sense rage emitting off of your body with your silence. Of course, there was no need for this situation to happen. "But I didn't know what to do. I was lost and confused, I only agreed because I thought it was the best thing for our family. You can understand that, right? They aren't bad people, you get along with them well. It's for the best."
"No, I don't understand." You swiftly pull your hands out of your mother's grasp and take a few steps back from the woman. "You could've spoken to me before deciding, but you chose not to. You've already decided that I'm not a member of this family anymore."
You turn your back towards your mother and begin to walk towards the exit. She tries to frantically call your name but you continue.
"I can find the money and I know Dad still has more left from all of his hero work." Your chest tightens before erupting in severe pain, but you decide to ignore it. "I'm not leaving. I'm not signing any papers. I'm not marrying anyone. I'm going outside for some fresh air. When I get back, I need all of them out of our house."
A freezing, numb sensation travels from your feet up to your calves. Your movements are slow before stopping completely, frozen in place. When you look up, you see him. Speaking of the devil. Coming towards you with an agitated expression, nearly freezing your mother who tries to intervene. You try to melt through the ice using your fire but burn part of your clothes. It's too late, anyways.
When you finally free your legs, he stands right in front of you. Your mother flees to a space nearby, too intimidated to confront him.
"Whether you want to come is not up for debate. Your mother has signed on your behalf." He says harshly, an undeniable chill runs up your spine from his presence. "Our family has connections, you do know that. No one will question the validity of your signature. Don't be difficult."
"How do you expect me not to be when you've paid off my own mother?" You say before trying to leave again, nearly slipping on his ice. His hand wraps around your forearm, he uses all of his strength and almost breaks your bone.
"You said it yourself, this isn't your family anymore." Shoto has waited far too long, he won't give up now. "You still love your father, don't you? Of course, you do. Should your dying father suffer because of your selfishness? Or be saved? It's your decision, but this isn't about you."
You look at your mother who silently pleads for you to follow Shoto. Then your mind trails to Enji who is listening to the whole conversation with his eyes shut tight as he wonders how he raised such a brute of a son. His hold softens, allowing you some freedom but you don't move.
"Shoto, you can't force me..." You want to sound firm in your words but they are uttered weakly. "We can find another way, but not like this..."
"I'm not forcing you. As I said this is your decision but if you know what's best, you'll come with me." Shoto's hand is completely removed from your forearm and extends out in a welcoming manner.
You glance around your childhood home that has been uprooted and transformed from top to bottom. You can't recognize it anymore, but there's no need to. This will be the last day you step foot into this house.
Cautiously, your fingers intertwine with Shoto's hand. His lips slyly curl upwards at your foolish decision. In the distance, you hear your mother breathe a sigh of relief.
"That's it, like an obedient daughter..." He turns around and begins instructing your mother about organizing a ceremony in the upcoming weeks. She eagerly runs off to celebrate the news with your father and other family members.
It was sickening to watch her demeanor switch in the span of a few seconds.
"You know," Shoto speaks again, returning his full attention to you. "I was beginning to think you forgot about what you said to me last night." His thumb massages gently into the back of your hand. "About how you loved me... That wasn't a lie, or was it?"
Not knowing how to respond verbally, you shake your head. Shoto softly whispers, "good, good" and kisses your hand. Truthfully, you weren't being dishonest. It was in the heat of the moment and if you were asked now, you wouldn't know what to say.
"You did make a promise to me, to spend more time together. In the end, it worked out perfectly for us." Another tightening hold on your hand sends a shock of pain through your arm. Briefly looking into his eyes and seeing him spiral, it's not Shoto anymore. "Now, we'll spend an eternity together. Til' death do us part..."

A/N: hii yall! Im back again with another au fic. i hope u all enjoy! will make another part, gonna set the setting for this au first (just imagine all those isekai manhwas with royalty and thats it lol. Feel free to ask!! (also this series will be a lot darker and stuff)
“Shoto, meet Y/N, she will be your personal assistant from now on.”
Shouto warily looked at you. A human, how distasteful. “Father, why do servants have to be humans? It’s disgusting.” Your eyes remain glued to the floor as your head stays tilted in a respectful bow, not daring to offend your masters in any way. Your masters are one of the most powerful families in the country, with a large palace overseeing the north kingdom. The kingdom consists of other noble vampires, commoners which were also vampires, then servants or slaves that were all human. Ever since the beginning, humans were vampires’ slaves, they were there for the beasts to command, with overwhelming strength and power, the humans stood no chance. You were one of the lucky ones that was born in a family that directly served noble families. From your birth, it was decided that you will be the young master Todoroki’s assistant. You were trained from an early age to perfection, from etiquette, to basic fighting skills– to protect your masters only– you were the perfect candidate for the soon to arrive young master. You were older than Shouto by a few months, and his successful birth sealed your fates together.
“Do not complain Shouto, lest you desire to be the only master in the family with no accompanying assistance.” The big intimidating man stated with a huff. Shouto let out a frustrated sigh as he looked you again in the eye. “One mistake and you shall be our meal, do you understand?” The cold words accompanied by a somewhat strange soft voice made you look him in the eye for the first time. A young boy just a few months younger than you with eyes a beautiful shade of turquoise and dark gray, while his hair held the clouds and sunset rays of red. “Yes master.”
The first few days with him were simply exhausting. You did not know whether it was because you were human or his attitude was simply that of a spoiled rich kid. His spoiled act wasn’t exclusive to you, oh no, every single living thing in the palace was treated with malice, including vampires and even his own family, and his family did absolutely nothing in regards to his spoiled attitude, tch, nobles, you thought. You would wake him up every night at 6 pm, and endure his tantrums on being woken up too early. You would help him bathe and endure another 15 minutes of him complaining the water was too cold. You would help him get changed and endure another 30 minutes of him ranting about how awful your fashion sense is. What a child, you thought, everytime he opens his mouth you are reminded that he truly is a 6 year old child. After the nightly routine, dinner is in order, you would accompany him to the dining quarters only to be always stopped halfway through by Shoto telling you that “This is as far as you go, now be dismissed and go do your duty thingies.” as he walks off further to go to the dining quarters. You always wondered why, as you know that the other masters had their assistants with them while they feast. Perhaps it was a blessing that Shoto didn’t let you in, you knew it was a nightmare in there, with humans served as cuisines, you shudder at the thought and opt to not think about it, wanting to save your sanity in this forsaken place.
You would then prepare the things that Shoto would need for the night. You would get in touch with his tutor, and prepare his things for his study session. You would go to his room to tidy up, and prepare a set of pajamas to sleep in through the day. Daytime weakens vampires and they prefer to sleep through it, though do not be mistaken, they are still considerably strong, at least strong enough to subdue a human. You watch as Shoto focuses on the tutor’s teachings for the night. They were discussing things about economics, how boring, you thought. You took notice though, how Shoto seemed more distant than usual. Around 6 am, you will be readying Shoto for his slumber. As you changed him and tucked him in bed, you mindlessly asked him “Young master, are you okay?” Shoto looked at you surprised, as if you just grew horns and a tail. “Huh?” For some reason Shoto felt his cheeks burning up. “I’m completely fine! Are you okay?” Shoto said in an attempt to be sarcastic. You didn’t pick up on his sarcasm though, he seemed.. Flustered? “I’m doing fine young master, if ever you feel any discomfort please tell me. It is my job to ensure that you are at your utmost best.” You said with a smile. Shoto couldn’t stop the blush on his face. He quickly pulled the covers above his head “okay okay! I get it. You are dismissed now..” “ Have a good rest young master” You say as you leave the room. Little did you know that Shoto, who was being neglected by his family, not given enough attention and love, was gonna get attached to those few words you let out, wanting more of the warmth you radiated.
It came slowly, little changes like Shoto not throwing tantrums and not insulting your efforts while doing your duties. After his studies he would request to have tea in the garden under the moonlight, and he would always request you to be there with him. He would slowly open up to you, making many attempts to start a conversation.
“Did you know the stock market will be going down next week?”
“Accounting is so annoying, why do they need to make it so complicated? How foolish”
“What's your favorite season?”
“The moonlight seems prettier tonight”
“This tea tastes good, here have some”
Now his actions were confusing you entirely. He went from a tantrum throwing spoiled child, to a well mannered gentleman to you. It was a complete 180 for him and you didn’t know if he was planning something. Nevertheless you indulged him with his attempts at conversation as you quite enjoyed it as well, when he wasn’t acting like a pain in the as– head, he wasn’t that bad after all! After a few more months of this, you two were now as close as ever, Shoto even called you his playmate instead of assistant saying that “You’re different from other humans.” Which you didn’t completely get, all humans were the same after all.
On one particular day, as the sun was starting to rise, you set Shoto to bed. You were going to leave the room when he held your hand and whispered “stay.” You got surprised by his behavior, even though you guys were close now, you wouldn’t dare sleep in his quarters, it was forbidden. You were merely a servant and he was a noble. You tried explaining this to him but his grip on your hand just tightened while tears started forming in his eyes. You knew that he longed for attention and love, something that you noticed throughout the months with him, was missing from his family. Just this one time wouldn’t hurt right? As long as you don’t get caught? After a few more moments of Shoto silently begging you, you finally agreed and his eyes shone with glee. He quickly scooted over and pulled the covers for you to get on the bed. As soon as you were settled on the bed he quickly cuddled by your side and fell asleep with his cheeks against yours. You closed your eyes and prayed that you won’t get caught, you also reminded yourself that this was a one time thing. Boy were you wrong. Not a single day went by that Shoto didn’t practically force you to sleep on his bed. This was your new normal now, though you were still careful not to get caught. This went on even when you both were now grown up, at the age of 20 Shoto still made you sleep with him, though he didn’t cuddle you as closely as before.
You weren’t oblivious to the favor–obsession– Shoto had on you. You had to admit it was quite useful sometimes, like on times the head of the servants would scold you for no reason, Shoto would immediately punish them. Shoto became sweeter to you, almost like a lover you would dare say, as soft touches between the two of you would always result in fast heart beats and blushing small smiles. One day, as you were helping Shoto to change for bed, you quickly informed him that you could not sleep with him this time. He quickly asked you why and you simply told him there was going to be a meeting for all the servants.
He borderline begged you to stay “Please Y/N stay, I don’t– I can’t sleep without you, you know that! Why would you leave me? Are they more important than me? Do you no longer like me?” You were surprised with all his questions, maybe he liked you a little bit more than you thought, you glanced at the clock on his wall, and noticed that he was now nuzzling your neck, inhaling your calming scent, one that would always calm him down. You then noticed a change in his breathing, it was now ragged and hot. “Young master? Are you okay?” You held his cheeks to make him face you, only to be faced with his dazed and half lidded eyes, his cheeks blushing “Call me by my name.” He demanded. “Shoto.” He kissed your lips with much fervor. He held your head, fingers intertwined with your hair, trying to pull you in even closer as your arms wrapped around his neck. You kissed him back trying to match his passion, tongues dancing together, saliva dripping to your and Shoto’s chin. His hands explored your body as he trailed kisses down to the side of your neck, leaving open kisses and hickies. Eyes closed and moaning softly, you gripped his broad shoulder for balance as he started licking your neck, only to gasp and open your eyes in surprise as he bit your neck, hard, drawing blood as he started sucking and drinking it. “Wha– Sho– Shoto?! Stop–” You tried pushing him away only for him to growl and bite harder, his arms wrapped tightly around your waist, making sure you couldn’t escape him. You were starting to feel dizzy as you looked at him, his eyes were closed as his eyebrows were furrowed, blood dripping on the side of his mouth as his adam’s apple bobbed up and down showing how desperate he was to drink your blood. “Please.. Stop..” You fell down slowly as he fell down with you, arms still wrapped around you. You started seeing black spots darken your vision as you finally lost consciousness, your last thoughts being this was it, a death no different from others, by the hands of a vampire.
You felt soft hair tickle your neck as you slowly opened your eyes. You were in Shoto’s bed and it was already nighttime. You quickly looked beside you to see him fast asleep, arms snaked around your waist as his head rested in the crook of your neck. You quickly lifted your hand to your neck only to feel bandages covering it so it wasn’t a dream you thought. As if hearing your thoughts Shoto stirred awake “Hello love. Did you rest well?” “Shoto what happened? What about my meeting wit–” “No need to worry love, it's all taken care of.” Shoto smiled as he caressed your cheek, hand slowly trailing down to your neck. “You tasted so sweet..” You tensed as he got closer to your neck, giving small kisses on the bandage. “Master, why would you do that?” Shoto felt his stomach drop as he panicked at the betrayed tone of your voice, he looked up at you and kissed your lips softly. “Darling I’m sorry I– I couldn’t resist. You just smelled so good. Please forgive me.” He looked at you with puppy eyes, and you swore you saw hearts in his eyes. You couldn’t help but forgive him, he promised he wouldn’t do it again. That was a lie. Every night as he woke up he would drink your blood from your neck, it became routine for the both of you. You would give in as he gave you his puppy eyes and begged “Please love, I can’t bear to drink anyone else's blood anymore”
“You taste so good love, my darling baby.”
“I’m sure the heavens cannot compare to you”  His sweet words would always sway you, and you just came to accept your fate. At least he didn’t overdo it, he would always stop right away whenever you would feel dizzy. Right after feeding from you, he would lick the wound on your neck, savoring whatever blood trickled out, then bandage up your neck. Whenever his family raised their eyes upon looking at your bandage, Shoto would simply dismiss them, still the ever spoiled and rude brat he is. Little did he know Touya, the eldest, had his eyes on the both of you.

Mha boys when you have a stomach ache
(Because I am currently in excruciating pain lol)
Fluff. Literally just comfort and fluff. A little bit of implied spice.
Character index: denki, bakugou, shouto, kirishima x GN reader
Tumblr media
Denki
This bitch would be so dramatic.
He would ask you all the questions.. like for someone who isn't book smart at all he sure does know a shit ton of symptoms.
Please humor him though he just wants to make sure your not dying.
I mean waking up in the middle of the night to see you curled up in a ball, tears rolling down your face, and your entire body tense and shaking is definitely a terrifying site for this poor boy..
But once you convince him you actually are not on deaths door, he will calm down a bit. He's still freaked the fuck out and absolutely has no idea what he's supposed to do but he will try his best.
He will hold you close all night, rubbing small circles into your stomach to distract you, if it's really bad he might give you some little shocks to distract you more.
In the morning, he'll run you a hot bath, helping you get in. But he won't leave you to your bath without saying something like, "Aren't you gonna be lonely in there without me? Y'know I could totally join you~"
He really likes to test his luck...
But once you shoot him a bit of a glare, indicating you are definitely not in the mood with the pain and all. He will leave you to it.
Although you have to admit baths are a lot more boring without him around...
Tumblr media
Bakugou
He would somehow find a way to get mad at you?
Like bakugou wakes up to see you like dying on the floor, trying to find a comfortable position, and his first thought is to scold the absolute shit out of you...
"What the hell's up with you? Why are you curled up like that on the floor? You're gonna give yourself a headache if you sleep without head support idiot! Get back on the bed right now you stupid fuck!!"
He literally drags you back into bed by you collar before storming out of the room. He comes back with an advil, a glass of water and a snack and pretty much stuffs your face with them.
"You have a stomach ache, huh? Well, maybe you shouldn't have eaten that piece of toast you dropped on the floor!! I swear if you didn't have me you'd be dead! How stupid do you have to be to get yourself sick like this huh?? Huh?!"
He would say all this while stuffing a pain killer down your throat and force feeding you a granola bar...
"C'mon eat. You can't take advil on an empty stomach dumbass! Get it together you should know this!"
Once he's done scolding you, he'll huff, laying back down on the bed. Positioning himself so he's spooning you. One of his hands on your stomach, the other in-between your thighs. Turning himself into your own personal heat pack.
He'll make sure you get to sleep before he let's himself fall back asleep.
In the morning, he'll make you breakfast, your favorite breakfast in fact. The whole time grumbling about how its your fault he got no sleep last night. Shoving a plate of beautifully cooked food infront of you...
As pissed as he makes you think he is, he really was worried about you.
Tumblr media
Shouto
As cold as the people who don't know him think he is. You know him well enough to know he's a huge softy.
He would immediately ask of your ok. Rubbing your back gently. He doesn't even skip a beat when he sees you curled up in child's pose on your shared bed, your breath sharp and unsteady.
Asks you if you need need anything, and when you respond with a sad sounding "sleep," He smiles softly at you. Thinking you look kinda cute like this..
After he gives himself a moment to figure out what you need, he'll go to your medicine cabinet and get you a painkiller. He'll pour you a glass of water and light a sented candle for extra relaxation. He is determined to get you some sleep.
He will pet your hair softly, speaking to you with the gentlest tone.
"Hey, y/n... can you sit up for me, please? I got you a painkiller, but you need to sit up to take it...*
He would help you up, giving you the pill and the water. He would help you lay back down. Cuddling you up to his left side and heating it up a bit to help your muscles relax. And if you start getting too hot, he'll place his right hand on the back of your neck. Cooling you off.
He would keep you at the perfect temperature to sleep. And you would sleep. Surprisingly enough, one of the best sleeps of your entire life.
Tumblr media
Kirishima
This poor boy is absolutely lost.
He has zero idea how to help you and is instead left trying to calm you down as you sob into the bed sheets...
(Please, he's so freaked out)
I can see him patting your back like an awkward dad y'know?
He tries to talk you out of it too. Trying to act like he's not scared out of his mind that you're dying or some shit..
"Hey.. hey. You're ok.. you're ok, right? You're fine. Im here. You don't have to cry.. please don't cry.. are you okay??"
He's trying so hard but is so confused. Your talking is almost unintelligible through your tears, but eventually, he hears a soft, "advil..." Through the sobs.
He will fetch you some immediately. It takes him less than a minute before he's back. Advil in hand. A very determined look on his face.
Within like 30 minutes your passed out on his chest again. Sleeping oh so peacefully. He can finally breath, thanking the gods your ok. He was so worried you have no idea. Or I guess you probably do considering how he was fumbling over his words and desperately trying to help you. Now he just runs his hands through your hair, falling asleep in the quiet bliss of your breathing.
He will research the fuck out of this in the morning and make sure he is well prepared for the next incident. After all it is so not manly to not know how to care for your significant other..

Deceiving the Duke | 9 | Todoroki Shouto
Tumblr media
pairing: Todoroki Shouto x Female Reader
length: 4.1k of 30k words | 9th of 9 chapters
summary: When Camie Utsushimi elopes on the eve of her society debut, scandal threatens to destroy the family’s prospects. It’s up to you, a maid, to impersonate Camie throughout the Season, long enough that her elder sister can make a match. The only trouble? Lord Shouto Todoroki is also intent on making a match—and that match, quite impossibly, appears to involve you.

You couldn’t think of a thing to say during the carriage ride, pretending to look out over streets glowing in the newly-risen sun. But you kept sneaking glances back at Lord Shouto, only to find him watching you contemplatively, his handsome face unreadable to you.
You wondered what he truly thought of you. If he had known this entire time you were only pretending to be Camie–why had he let you go through with it? Why had he kissed you last night, even?
You could almost think he had been trying to entrap you in turn, except that you knew him to be too good for that.
So why had he let you go on?
You stiffened as the palace came into view, a huge, imposing structure with immaculately whitewashed walls, rising several stories above the ground. An enormous wrought iron gate let into the grounds, down a short drive fringed pink-blossomed trees, which finally led onto a cobblestoned concourse which looked like it had never seen a speck of dirt.
Guards in the Yaoyorozu livery were stationed all along the palace’s face, their sabers resting conspicuously at their sides.
You felt your fingers tighten in the fabric of your dress.
Lord Shouto jumped down from the carriage as soon as it stopped, and reached out a hand for you again. You considered whether you should avoid it–you were not a lady, and you were now in the presence of hundreds of people who would see him do so. Before you could brace yourself to jump down on your own, however, Lord Shouto’s hands found your waist. Your stomach swooped as he lifted you out of the carriage entirely, placing you on the ground as though you were no heavier than a child.
Your knees felt suddenly weak, and you focused on getting your feet properly back under you. You did not dare grip his sleeve for support.
“Come with me,” Lord Shouto said, his low voice gentle in the morning air.
He offered his arm—as though you were a lady again!–and looked at you expectantly.
“My lord, I do not think you should treat me as such,” you said quietly, as a footman scurried out the entrance of the palace towards you.
Lord Shouto’s eyes picked over you, his head tilting. “There should be no object. You’ve already embroiled me in scandal enough, do you not think?” he said.
Your stomach turned over, but the tiniest quirk at the corner of his mouth told you he meant it in jest. Still–
“Your Grace, the princess will receive you in her sitting room,” the footman said, puffing as he approached.
“Thank you,” Lord Shouto said. Then he reached out and quite determinedly took your hand, pulling your arm carefully through his. He ignored the footman’s wide-eyed look, and gently tugged you along after him.
You were too stunned to say anything, your tongue feeling as though it had tied itself in a knot. The feeling only worsened as you were led deeper into the palace, down a long hall and through a series of intricately brocaded and muraled rooms with echoing marble floors. Eventually you emerged into a room painted a cheery yellow, with sunny rows of windows and several ornately patterned sitting benches.
Your heart stopped.
On the nearest sofa sat a gorgeous woman, with fair skin and raven-black hair, upon which rested a small silvery tiara. The Princess Momo Yaoyorozu herself.
Quickly abandoning Shouto, you dropped into the lowest curtsy you could manage, feeling your knees wobble underneath you. Out of the corner of your eye, you watched as Shouto swept the most absolutely cursory bow you’d ever seen in your life. You started, appalled by the slight.
What was he doing?
But the princess looked deeply unruffled, smiling as she rose from the sofa.
“Shouto,” she said, happily.
And then she rounded the table and embraced him.
“Momo,” Lord Shouto said in return. “It is good to see you in good health.”
You stared, aware that your mouth had dropped open, but completely unable to close it. So they–were a couple? But then you noticed the slight woman at the princess’s shoulder, who also reached out and embraced Lord Shouto.
“Jirou,” he said.
Jirou colored pink and cuffed the back of his head lightly. “Next time I’d ask you to consider causing a scene like this later in the day.”
Lord Shouto’s face went carefully blank, the very picture of innocence. “I know not what you mean.”
Jirou looked unfazed. “I’m sure.”
Just then, the princess’s gaze wandered to you, her eyes dark and fathomless and intimidatingly pretty. You froze under her sudden attention. “This must be your Miss Not-Quite-Utsushimi,” she said.
Your stomach lurched. She knew. The princess already knew what you had done.
Was this it, then? The moment of reckoning? What Shouto had brought you here for, to see that royal justice was done unto you?
But the princess just smiled, and gestured to a bench opposite the sofa. “Please, sit.”
You almost sat down reflexively right on the floor. Thankfully, Lord Shouto took your elbow and gently guided you to the chair, taking the place next to you. You tried very hard not to notice the way his strong thigh pressed against your skirts.
“Now then, Shouto tells me you’ve gotten yourself into a bit of trouble. I’d like to hear it from you, if you don’t mind,” Princess Momo said as she settled back into her seat.
You could barely think straight. It was like every thought you’d ever had suddenly gathered in your mouth, all clamoring to burst forth. You tripped over your own words, barely managing coherence.
“Your Highness–it’s not. I mean, it’s not my trouble, it’s Lord Shouto’s. I’ve gone and involved him in a way I did not mean, and he desperately needs to call off the marriage. It’s entrapment! He was caught with me, and I’m not Camie–his reputation—my fault, I mean–”
Lord Shouto’s gloved hand found your thigh, and you jumped.
His mouth drew close to your ear. “Breathe, Y/N.”
It was the first time you’d ever heard him use your name, and the sound went through you like a lance. You only just managed to clamp down on what might have been a horrible little whimper, your fingers clenching in your skirts for something to ground you.
“It’s as I described in my letters, Momo,” Lord Shouto said, turning back to the princess.
She ignored him, her gaze picking over you. “You mean you meant to entrap His Grace?” she asked.
“No!” you yelped, leaning forwards desperately. “No, please. You must ask him to call it off!”
She tilted her head and waited, as if for more of an explanation.
You blew out a nervous breath, trying to find the words to explain. “I am a–I was a maid, Your Highness. I have worked for the Utsushimi family for years. Just days before the season, Camie Utsushimi eloped with Lord Inasa Yoarashi, leaving her elder sister Caroline the consequences of the scandal. Mrs. Utsushimi–that is, it was decided that I should pretend to be Camie long enough for Miss Caroline to make a match.”
The princess’s eyebrows raised.
“I did not expect that I should–-that I should find someone as good and kind as Lord Shouto. I have no excuses for participating in and continuing the charade.”
You did not know how to continue. You let the words sit there in heavy silence.
“And what would you want now?” The princess finally asked. “Now that you’re to be revealed as a servant?”
You ducked your head. “I want only that Lord Shouto distance himself quickly.”
“And you?” Princess Momo asked.
You did not dare ask that she let you flee into the countryside as you so desperately hoped. It was the height of folly to think that you would be let off with no punishment. God, however had you thought you could have pulled this scheme off? What absolute madness had possessed you to go along with it?
“Whatever Your Highness thinks is suitable penalty,” you said, unable to look into her face.
“Why did you do it?” The princess asked, as Lord Shouto had.
You answered as you had then. “For money, Your Highness.”
Lord Shouto leaned forward. “For her family, Momo. She sends a wage.”
Your skin prickled, hoping that this admission would not make targets out of your parents too.
“And your parents know of this scheme?” she asked.
You panicked, getting to your feet. “No! Your Highness, please, I have not told them–”
“Momo, I’ll thank you not to scare my intended,” Lord Shouto intoned from your side. You realized he’d also risen. He took your arm, tugging you gently back down. “Nothing will happen to your family, Y/N,” he said.
Your pulse pounded under his grip. You tried to focus on how gentle and warm his touch was, as little as you deserved it.
Fuck. Fuck, just what had you gotten yourself into?
“You are lucky,” Princess Momo said finally, “That Shouto thinks this is all very funny.”
You froze, glancing up at her. He–he thought this was–what?
“He’s been writing me these past months, telling me of you. I did not like the idea of it, but Shouto tells me you are…good. That you did not mean to draw anyone’s notice, and that you have very consistently resisted his advances,” the princess said.
Your memory flashed to the feeling of his mouth on you last night. You had not really resisted his advances consistently enough. If only she knew how inappropriately you had reveled in them.
“I see that you are much like what he says,” the princess said, and you heard a kind of unexpected softening of her tone.
You did not know what to say.
“I brought you here to see for myself. And I am…satisfied,” she said. “Though, I will always watch out for him as he has watched out for me since the War for All.”
The knot of tension in your chest uncoiled a little. But surely, she could not mean that she meant to let an infringement of this nature go unpunished?
“Your Highness, I am afraid I do not understand,” you said.
Lord Shouto’s hand found the side of your thigh again, and he pressed those long fingers against you. “She means that she will insist on keeping an eye on you, once we are married,” he said.
Your head snapped towards him, and you gaped. He watched you back, those mismatched eyes glittering in a way that you found so very horribly familiar.
“Married?” you echoed incredulously. “My lord–I am not–you cannot–what?”
Shouto ducked his head to look into your face more closely. “Then you will not have me?”
You sputtered. “Have you? Me, have you? My lord, really, are you unwell? We’ve just established, I am not Camie Utsushimi!”
“I’m well aware…Y/N.” Lord Shouto said, his tone dropping terribly low. A little shiver went up your spine.
“And as you are now well aware, I have known for some time,” he continued. “I knew from the beginning. And I certainly knew when I kissed you last night.”
The shiver became a full body shudder. “Lord Shouto–it doesn’t make sense…”
“He never does,” Jirou piped up helpfully from the princess’s side. “He’s been strange since birth, according to Momo.”
Shouto’s features went intentionally deadpan again, as though he could not countenance such a claim. You couldn’t help the grin that pulled at your mouth.
“He liked when you threw the apricot cake at him,” the princess supplied. “Wrote about it in great detail in his first letter about you. He also waxed poetic about your inability to speak any Greek, as though that were a great accomplishment of yours.”
Your ears went hot. “You did not,” you said.
Shouto had the grace to look the tiniest bit abashed. “Thank you, Momo,” he said, with absolutely no inflection to his tone whatsoever.
You were overcome by a wave of helpless affection for him. “Lord Shouto, I’m still afraid it isn’t done…much as I should–much as your affections are more than reciprocated. I–I’m afraid the scandal–”
“Will not bother me,” Shouto said.
You waved your arm helplessly. “My lord–”
“If it helps,” Princess Momo said. “At Shouto’s behest, I’ve found a little barren plot of land and a just-barely noble title that might be granted to you, in order to facilitate a proper marriage. I…owed him a favor, for services rendered in the War for All. That is, if you will agree to have him.”
Shouto looked back at you, looking a little bit smug for managing to have pulled all this together.
“I’ve procured a special license weeks ago. And I have also written Lord Inasa, and your Camie,” he said. “As it happens, I know Lord Inasa well enough. They will attest to having known of your status, and to having attended the wedding. Your friends Miss Uraraka and Lady Asui have also agreed, provided that you apologize to them in person.”
“As will Jirou and I,” Princess Momo said. “Which should be enough to get half the ton pretending that they were there.”
“Miss Caroline and Mr. Awase, should they care to continue their engagement, should also be told. There should be no impropriety in the match, then,” Shouto said. “Although there will still be talk of your impersonating Camie.”
You could not believe it.
It all sounded so unreal–that you, simply by agreeing now, could become Shouto’s wife.
Horrible, hot little tears gathered in the corner of your eyes. “I can’t believe you didn’t tell me.”
“You didn’t tell me,” Shouto pointed out, though his tone was gentle. “Let those be the last secrets we keep from one another.”
A wave of emotion crashed over you, and it was only the princess’s presence that kept you from throwing yourself at Shouto.
It was real. He was really real, and he truly wanted you.
“Yes,” you said, watching him closely. “If you will really have me, then yes. It would be improper of me, I think, to admit how much I…how much I love you. But I have been driven mad with it, Shouto. I love you.”
A blindingly handsome smile lit up Shouto’s face, and he’d pulled you to him before you realized he’d even moved. He had you up and out of the seat in the blink of an eye, and he swept another barely-courteous bow in Princess Momo’s direction–one that you realized was born of years of friendship, rather than any disrespect.
“You understand we must take our leave of you,” Shouto said.
Princess Momo bit her pretty lip as though fighting down a laugh. “Indeed. Though I will expect you both back for tea the week after next. I still have questions.”
“I'm afraid I have a honeymoon planned,” Shouto said. He leaned down to you and said in conspiratorial tones. “I think perhaps some Greek ruins might be in order.”
You groaned out a laugh. “Shouto…”
Princess Momo waved you off, disinterested. “Then write, please. I am pleased to see you finally happy, Shouto.”
“I am,” Shouto said seriously. He pulled you towards the door in a bout of sudden impatience. “Thank you, Momo.”
She waved again, and then you were through the door, a footman collecting you and leading you back out of the palace.
Your head was spinning with a rush of emotion, and your heart beat a staccato of disbelief in your chest. Shouto helped you back into the carriage, a fond little grin on the corner of his mouth.
“You really mean it, Y/N?” he asked as he followed you in, taking up the seat next to you rather than opposite. You soaked in the delicious warmth of him alongside you, something you had been sure just fifteen minutes ago that you might never feel again. “Be honest with me.”
You nodded, looking up into his handsome face. “I promise to always be honest with you from this point on.”
Another smile twitched at the corner of Shouto’s mouth, a wry, mischievous little thing. “Good,” he said, his voice dropping low. “As I plan to make an honest wife out of you now, love.”
You shivered again, and Shouto drank it in with far too much satisfaction.
But then he leaned in, smiling, and kissed you.
Over the carriage ride, you spoke very little–far too occupied with one another to manage much conversation–but Shouto did convey that your wedding would be a secret affair, first thing in the morning, under the eye of the Archbishop who was closely aligned with the Yaoyorozu family, and excellent at keeping secrets.
Which left you with the entire afternoon—an afternoon you planned to spend wisely.
When you arrived back at his lodgings, an attempt was made to feed you and offer you a room of your own–so that things might be proper. But you hadn’t done any of this properly in the slightest, and you didn’t plan to start now.
In only a matter of minutes, you had both stumbled into Shouto’s bedroom, an elegantly-appointed suite that you would have to inspect more closely later, when you weren’t so preoccupied with what his mouth was doing just above the neckline of your dress.
“Shouto, you’ll tear it,” you said, as he tugged at the higher, more conservative collar of your servant’s garb.
“Good,” Shouto intoned in his low voice, his mouth still pressed to the line of your neck in a way that reminded you of the masquerade last night. “You’ll never need it again.”
His fingers tugged harder, and he murmured quietly, “Once I have this off you, you’ll never dress as a maid again.”
The thought made you dizzy, and you grasped his shoulder for stability, which only gave him better purchase to tug your dress down the other arm. Soon he’d gotten you down to your stays and stockings, and the appreciative groan he made as he looked you over sent little shivers over your skin.
He walked you back to his bed, layering kisses everywhere–over your face, your chest, your arms, any part of you he could reach.
“You’ll stop me, if you want to?” he asked, mismatched eyes flicking up to yours.
“I don’t want to,” you told him, reaching out to grasp his coat, pulling him down to the bed with you. His warm, hard body against you dredged up the memory of last night–all those straining feet of him pressing you against the wall, that feeling that had built up within you as he touched you through your skirts. “I could have screamed when they found us last night.”
Shouto’s face dropped into the crook of your neck, and he left a stinging bite on your shoulder. “I almost challenged Mr. Awase to a duel there and then. All good sense had left me.”
You knew the feeling–all good sense had left you quite presently, replaced with the burning desire to have him over you, pressing all along you, weighing you down into the mattress and finishing what you’d started on the assembly room balcony.
“Shouto, please. I want–I need–”
Shouto didn’t let you finish, sealing his mouth over yours. His fingers busied themselves with the laces of your stays, and it was only a matter of minutes until he had you bare to him entirely.
“Perfect,” he said, in a tone so low you could feel it in your bones. His fingers pressed between your thighs, and your gasp echoed in the early morning quiet. “You are perfect.”
You rather thought he was perfect, as you finally managed to push his coat off of him and tore at the buttons of his shirt. Underneath he was all hard muscle and smooth skin, and you found yourself struck dumb by the way his abs flexed, the way his waist tapered into the line of his breeches.
He was even more perfectly carved than those blasted Greek sculptures, and you surged up to kiss him again. His fingers found their way back between your thighs, and you threw your arms over his shoulders, clinging to him as he worked you up to the peak he’d brought you to last night.
It felt like you had no control over yourself as you writhed against his hand, your mouth desperately seeking his to quiet the noises you wanted to make.
Shouto’s touch was maddening, every twist of his fingers smooth and deft, and his thumb worked your clit so gently you wanted to scream. It was too much, and yet not enough, and yet everything you’d ever wanted—
“Please, Shouto,” you begged. “Please, please.”
“Please what, love?” he asked, smiling down at you. But you could tell he knew what you wanted, and that he wanted it too, if the hard press of him against your thigh was any measure.
“Shouto, if you don't take me in the next few moments, I swear there will be an entire hailstorm of apricot cakes with your name on them–!” you threatened, but Shouto was laughing and pressing into you before you could finish, and you cut off on another gasp, clutching him for dear life.
The stretch of him inside you was sharp, and unfamiliar, and a little uncomfortable at first. But he seemed to know what he was doing, teasing your clit and layering hot, biting kisses all over you, until you didn’t know what to focus on–until he was fully inside you.
He kissed you utterly stupid while he let you adjust, his hands everywhere, distracting you. He murmured sweet things, how beautiful you were, how lovely, how perfect for him. By the time he finally moved you were a shivery puddle of praise and feeling, and the slide of him was so suddenly good you couldn’t even think straight.
“I knew you were my match the minute you first spoke to me,” he bit at out as his hips worked against you. “I knew I would love you.”
You bit back an embarrassing noise as Shouto’s pace grew faster and unmeasured. “I–Shouto–love you–” you managed. Shouto’s hips jerked in response, and he grasped your thighs, pulling you even harder into him. You couldn’t hold back a moan as he hit deeper within you and the new angle had you shuddering uncontrollably. He huffed a harsh breath against your throat, similarly affected, his fingers digging into you thigh.
After that, it was only a matter of minutes. Everything about him seemed calculated to drive you over the edge–the feeling of him hot and hard inside you, the sight of his abs tightening and flexing between your thighs, his fingers and his mouth all over you. The flush of effort on his cheekbones looked so good on him that you could barely believe he was real.
Everything–absolutely everything about him drove you right to the edge of madness, and then another hard thrust from him sent you right over it.
You cried out his name, trapped underneath him as you rode out your pleasure. And it seemed to hit Shouto too–his eyes widened as he watched you, and he bit out a curse you’d never heard from him before. His hips stuttered, frantically bucking into you as if he had no control, and a warmth flooded inside you.
Shouto breathed out a shaky breath and relaxed over you, the sticky, hot weight of him pinning you underneath him.
“I love you,” was all you could think to tell him, your mind still fuzzy with pleasure. “I love you.”
Shouto’s mouth curved into another wry little grin, and he smiled down at you, those mismatched eyes glinting.
“I see I did make an honest woman of you, then,” he said, sounding a little too pleased with himself.
You kissed him to shut him up, and pulled him closer–unable to deny that he had. You couldn’t think of anything you wanted than to give him your whole heart, bare and honest and real, for the rest of your lifetime together.
There would be no deceiving the duke–-not anymore.
Especially if, after you’d caught your breath, you could convince him to make an honest woman of you yet again.
And hopefully, again and again and again.

Morning came much sooner than you would have liked. Light streamed in through the glass balcony door, in the perfect position to blind you as you awoke. You glanced at your digital clock, which read '7:34 AM'. You silently curse yourself for not closing the blinds last night.
You heaved a sigh as you turned over in your soft, pillowy paradise in hopes of getting more rest.
Those hopes were crushed when your phone began to ring. Letting out a grunt, you snatched your phone from your nightstand.
"Hello?", you spoke into the phone, attempting to sound even somewhat awake.
"Detective Onee-chan!"
You immediately recognize the voice. You practically fling yourself from bed, already grabbing a sweatshirt.
"Akemi?! What's wrong? What happened?"
"We need help!"
After tugging on the sweatshirt and grabbing your wallet and keys, you slip on your sneakers,"Okay. Just stay on the phone. Tell me where you are. What happened? Is anyone hurt?"
"We're outside your house! Shouto's hurt!"
Huh?
"What?..."
"Haruka's Shouto plushie! Some boys came by and tried to take him from her! They pulled his arm off and ran! Now she's refusing to go to school with him like this!"
Oh.
You stared dumbfoundedly at your front door, simultaneously filled with relief and frustration. Ultimately, you had to understand this was a big deal for a kid. Especially when they had already lost everything that mattered to them once before.
You took a deep breath and steadied your voice into something softer, "I… Okay. Okay. I'll be out there very soon. Don't go anywhere."
You ran back into your room and grabbed the old sewing kit you kept around. You also ran into the bathroom to pluck a box of colorful adhesive bandages and wet wipes from the cabinet before rushing out to find the two young girls sitting on your front step. The older girl, nine-year old Akemi, stood from her seat and gave a polite bow, her baby blue hair swung about in her ponytail and her golden eyes shone brightly in the morning light.
"Good morning, Detective Onee-chan."
"Good morning, Akemi. Good morning, Haruka."
The younger girl, six-year old Haruka, remained seated in her spot on the step. She tightly hugged the plush, she quietly sniffled as more tears streamed down her face. Her tawny hair was tousled from her usually neat pigtails and her lavender eyes were blurred from the tears.
Both girls lived just across the street in a foster home with a few other children. You were familiar with all the children since you've known their foster mother, Manami, since she was an old family friend of yours. She ran the foster home with another friend of hers and, just for the record, did an amazing job with the kids. You even helped out some days if their schedules got a little too busy, thus the children knew you pretty well and had you as a contact in their emergency phones Manami provided them.
You crouched down in front of the younger girl, trying your best to meet her height.
"Hey Haruka. I'm here to help fix up Shouto for you. Is it okay if I take a look at him?"
Haruka was a particularly special case. Her parents died about a year ago. A fire had broken out and spread through their apartment complex. It claimed her parents and put her older brother, who had protected her from the raging flames, into a coma from the severe burns he sustained before a hero had managed to save them. That hero being Shouto, himself. Since then she's been selectively mute.
Unfortunately, this has made her a target for some unruly children who liked to tear up plushies for fun.
Haruka sat still for a moment and wiped her eyes before giving you a small nod. You gently took the plush and the severed arm from her small hands, quickly getting to work stitching the arm back onto the plush, being as neat as possible.
If you had one yen for every time you had to help fix up a Shouto… you'd have two yen.
Which may not be much, but it is weird that it happened twice.
You chuckled to yourself for your stupid joke as you presented Haruka with a variety of adhesive bandages.
"Which one do you think Shouto would like?"
The young girl looked at the bandages, a serious look crossed her face, like this was the most serious decision she had to make in her life. You had to refrain from chuckling at the adorable look.
Haruka finally pointed at a Princess Elsa bandage. You peeled the protective paper from the bandage and applied it over the stitching.
"Alright, there we go! All that's left to do is to give him a kiss to make it feel better!", you hold out the plush to Haruka.
The six-year old eagerly takes it back and gives it a kiss on the forehead. You chuckled, grabbing a wet wipe from the packaging.
"Now. If anymore boys try to take him away from you, kick them in the shins! Got it?" You lightly cupped the girl's face as you began delicately wiping her tear-streaked cheeks.
Haruka nodded firmly, a determined look in her eyes. A real woman on a mission.
"Detective Onee-Chan! You can't just tell her she can hit people!", Akemi gasped.
"Okay okay! Fine. No kicking shins… if you can help it."
"Onee-Chan!"
"Look. If she can't use her words then I'm sure a nice, swift kick to the shins will get the point across that they can't mess with her!"
Akemi's face scrunched up into a puffy-cheeked pout.
"Okay, okay fine. Don't hit people. Now let's get you two to school before you're late… again."
You took the girls' hands and walked off, unaware that a very distracted Haruka is staring in awe at a very familiar dual-colored figure standing in your apartment window.
Tumblr media
You returned to your apartment building after dropping the girls off at school, only to catch the distinct smell of something burning and the blaring of a smoke alarm.
Your initial thought was,
Pfft, some dumbass is burning down their apartment.
Until, upon closer inspection, you realize,
Oh shit! That's my apartment!
You swear you sped faster than Ingenium himself as you climbed the steps of the staircase, aside from nearly face planting a few times. The moment you unlocked the door, nearly tearing it from the hinges. Smoke fogged up the hall and swirled around the entrance hall, stinging your eyes and nose.
You swerved around the corner, nearly tripping over your lovely potted monstera in the process, only to find a wide-eyed and bewildered Todoroki donning your cat pattern apron and holding a now frozen frying pan.
The two of you stared at each other for a moment, both of your faces adorning similar shocked expressions.
"Pffft…"
The silence was broken by an abrupt snort from you. You bit your lip in an attempt to conceal the grin tugging at your lips.
"Don't laugh." Todoroki wasn't amused as a tinge of red spread across his cheeks as his face scrunched into a pout.
"Nonono! I'm just…pffft… I'm just… ahem… I'm sorry, but the look on your face took me off guard." You tried to cover your curled lips with your hand as you strode across your living room to slide open your balcony door to filter out the smoke, thankful that the spring weather was agreeable this morning.
"So… I'm guessing you were trying to make breakfast…", you walked back to prop one hand onto the kitchen counter while the other was planted on your hip. You shot him a playful smirk, "Unless, you were trying to burn down my apartment, then I'd say you are going about it in a less-than-convenient way."
"...It was fish…" Todoroki looked back at the pan with a small, dissatisfied pout at the frozen pan he was slowly thawing in his left hand.
"What exactly did you do anyway?" You raised an eyebrow in question.
"I poured oil into the pan, then put the fish in the pan."
You take a glance at the bottle on the counter, quickly recognizing the contents of said bottle.
"Well, first off, you used too much oil. You should have brushed it on the fish, not doused it. Secondly, you probably had the heat way too high. Thirdly…" you stand from leaning on the counter to point a finger at the defrosted pan, "That's Mackerel. Unless you were to marinade it overnight, I would have just used sake and salt, then put it in the fish grill."
You pulled open the drawer containing a waste bin, gesturing for the man to dispose of the charred and soggy fish. The duel-colored hero complied, tilting the pan to allow the inedible bits of fish to slowly slide out of the pan and land into the waste bin with a splat.
"Well… wanna try again, Peppermint?", you slid the drawer closed again and directed your attention to the man who started washing off the dirty pan.
He quirked a brow as he scrubbed the char from the pan's surface, "Do you really want me to nearly burn the place down again?"
You opened the fridge, scanning for ingredients,"You won't. You just need a little guidance. Plus, practice makes progress."
Todoroki paused his scrubbing to turn to you, "Isn't the saying 'practice makes perfect'?"
You collected your remaining Mackerel along with a few other ingredients from the fridge and set them out onto the counter, "Not in this house, it isn't. I'm not perfect, why should I expect others to be? Perfection is a ridiculous expectation to put on people. We're human. We make mistakes."
The pro hero stared at you for a moment, brows scrunched slightly in contemplation before huffing out a small chuckle and relaxed, suddenly feeling much less bothered over the burnt fish incident.
You turn to him with your hands on your hips,"Alrighty! Let's get started, shall we?"
Cooking breakfast went much smoother this time around. The two of you worked in unison to put together a meal from what you had stored away in your kitchen. Todoroki had moved on from the fish to making rolled omelets with your instruction while you set the dining table that sat between the guest bedroom and the living room. You watched as he looked like he was defusing a bomb and not rolling up cooked eggs. It nearly gave you whiplash remembering that the oh-so-serious and stoic hero that you saw every once in a while on the news was the same man who struggled to fry a fish this morning. You couldn't help but let out a giggle.
"You certainly seem to be in a better mood than last night.", Todoroki said as he plated the second omelet.
"Huh? Oh. Yeahhh… A good night's sleep does wonders.", You gave a small smile, you didn't want to talk about last night so you did what you always did- Pretend you were fine, "Since we are on the subject, how did you sleep?"
"Ah. Not well, truthfully."
"Hmm, was your side bothering you? I should have left the painkillers out for you in that case."
"No. It wasn't that."
"Oh really? What was it then?" You tilted your head a bit to look at him from the dining table.
"I felt like I was being watched all night. It was unnerving…"
"Oh, that was probably Suzume-chan. She likes attractive men and she's been a little too excited since you've arrived. Don't worry though she's harmless. She has a huge crush on Shinsou and she'll be over you in a few days. I'll make sure to tell her to leave you alone."
You swear you could see the math equations pass by the hero's head as his face subtly shifted into a look of bafflement as he processed what you said. He set down the plates holding the rolled omelets, trying to restrain the small blush after you had suddenly and blatantly admitted he was attractive. Of course, he was told by many he was attractive at this point, but the way you had said it so casually made him ever so slightly flustered. You said it like it was a solid fact. Like the sky was blue. Like grass was green. Like Midoriya is All Might's secret love chi- He shook slightly to regain his train of thought.
"Suzume-chan?" He tilted his head as his bafflement grew into concern.
"Yeah she's one of the spirits." You spoke casually until a realization dawned on you.
"Oh shit! I didn't warn you about the spirits in the apartment!"
The two of you spent breakfast talking about your friendly neighborhood apartment spirits. The conversation fortunately seemed to quell his concern. In fact it seemed to spark a curiosity in him. He asked questions about the spirits and you answered what you knew. You talked about the boy-obsessed Suzume-chan, the ever-protective Ryuji, the mysterious figure that just stands in the hallway sometimes, and a few other spirits that haunt the place.
The conversation devolved from spirits to anything that came to mind. Todoroki didn't speak much at first, but grew more and more invested. He talked about how his friends threw him a surprise birthday party at his favorite soba shop after a week of hell. How a young fan gifted him a very wonky, handmade Shouto plushie, yet it's one of his favorite things. Even how he was concerned how his mother and siblings were doing and if they heard the news of what happened.
And like that time flew by. Seconds turned to minutes and minutes turned to hours. Neither of you noticed until your cat, Kuma, decided to make himself known by nipping at your ankle mid-conversation.
"Ah! Ow! Cat, why?!"
You jumped from your seat and watched as your large tabby cat waddled over to his bowl that sat on the floor at the end of the kitchen's island counter. His big green eyes stared up at you with his tail swiping from side to side.
"Ah crap. I forgot to feed you. I'm sorry, Bud."
You followed Kuma over to his bowls, grabbing the bag from the cabinet, and crouched down to pour the kibble into the bowl. You give your now satisfied feline friend a quick pet before glancing at the clock on the wall.
"Damn… it's eleven already?", you stood and stretched your arms with a groan, back cracking from sitting at your less than comfortable dining chair for hours, "Welp! I have some errands I gotta run today. I'm gonna go get dressed."
"I'll come with you." Todoroki stood from his seat, collecting dishes as he did so.
You released your arms from a stretch and planted your palms on your hips, you arched a brow at the man gathering your dirtied dishes. Todoroki looked up at you, noticing your questioning expression before something seemed to click in his mind.
"The errands. I'll come with you for the errands… not with… getting dressed…"
"Pfft- No that's not-" you couldn't help but laugh at the hero's clarification. Todoroki cupped his hand over the back of his neck as an embarrassed blush bloomed across his cheeks. He watched you clutch your stomach at the genuine laughter spilling from your lips.
"I-I knew what you meant, don't worry. I didn't think you were some pervert.", you struggled to regain your composure and catch your breath.
You finally calmed down with a sigh,"It's just… people are probably looking for you as we speak, and you did get hurt last night. Are you sure you want to go out so soon?"
Todoroki nodded, "We have no way of communicating securely. If something happened to one of us, we would have no safe way to inform the other."
"Hmm that's fair. I suppose we are better off sticking close for now."
You pressed your curled forefinger to your lips, a little, devious grin stretched across your face.
"Then this calls for a little makeover!"
Tumblr media
"Alright, hold still for me."
You make a mental note to thank Shinsou for the emergency supplies again. You had let Todoroki choose amongst the few wigs and fresh colored contacts that were stored away within the duffle bag. He chose a simple, but charming combination of light brown eye contacts and a short dark brown wig in a side-part style that left some locks resting over his left eye. With the contacts in and iconic white and red split hair carefully tucked away under the wig, he was, once again, seated at the dining table as you prepared the makeup.
"Just let me know if you feel uncomfortable."
You lightly held his chin, gently guiding his face in one direction or another while you applied primer, foundation, and concealer to his skin. The concealer and foundation(although slightly off from Todoroki's skin tone) worked like magic, seemingly making his scar disappear.
Damn. I need to ask Shinsou where he got this stuff.
Moving on you continue on to brush the lightest bits of contour and blush so Todoroki would look more natural and not look like a member of the walking dead. You contemplated plucking his eyebrows, but they were surprisingly well groomed; most likely done for his occasional public appearances, you guessed. So you let them be, settling for a quick shaping before applying the dark brow coloring and swiping a thin layer of mascara on his lashes. Finishing up, you pat on a layer of setting powder and finally the setting spray that seemed to snap the hero out of his almost meditative state.
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you enjoyed getting your make-up done."
Todoroki gave a bashful look, but didn't respond, only rubbing the back of his neck. In truth he did enjoy it, far more than when he had public appearances. Perhaps he was so distracted dreading the event itself, he had no time to actually appreciate the process. This time there was no rush, blaring lights in his face, or the incessant shouts of people clamoring for his attention. Just a gentle spring breeze wafting through the apartment, the morning sun illuminating the space, and a set of surprisingly gentle hands pampering him. For a brief second he forgot about his less-than-fortunate situation.
He shook his head when you turned to store away the make-up supplies, hoping you wouldn't notice his internal dilemma or at the very least bring it up.
You turned back to him, hand on your hips and admiring your work. Just as he managed to finally ground himself again… you threw him for another loop.
"Damn. Maybe I did too well… someone might just mistake you for an actor or pop idol." You chuckled.
There it is again. That casual tone.
"Let's add a face mask for extra measure. If anyone asks I'll just say you're a germaphobe."
You turned back again to rummage through your closet for your supply of face masks, leaving a very confused Todoroki in your wake. When you faced him again with a mask in hand, you recognized the confused look on his face, staring down at his clenching and unclenching hands.
"Hey… are you sure you're good to go out today?" You strode over to him with a mask in hand, "Don't get me wrong, I know you're plenty capable, but… what you went through last night could mess with anyone's head. Hero or not."
That seemed to snap him out of his train of thought, blinking his eyes before looking up at you.
"I'll be fine. Thank you.", he stood from his seat and gratefully took the face mask from your hand, ignoring the fact his finger twitched when brushing against your own.
"Right then…", you shrugged with a pursed smile, not willing to argue.
Whatever you say, Peppermint.
You grabbed your bag from the table and spun around to face the front door,"Let's get going. Watch out, Nibetsu City! Here we come!"

"Wut up Cuz" (Shouto x Older Cousin Reader)
Where Shouto has an older cousin who is a junior in UA high. She's known to be a pretty chill person by students and teachers. But at home she gets pretty overprotective of her baby cousin. Especially when it involves her uncle, Enji.
Tumblr media
Shouto was a quiet and rather serious kid. That was all a mask to try and get to his goal to overthrow All-Might. Well, it wasn't truly his goal, but it was all he knew!
But that mask would quickly melt away as soon as he would see his older cousin. To Shouto, you were a real hero. Someone who was honorable, trustworthy, and most of all, strong.
You were his cousin from his mother's side, when you two first met, you were quick to keep him by your side. You treated him like glass, something that was preciouses and should be showered with love. 24/7.
The older you two got, the less you two were able to hang out. But the two of you would speak over the phone. You would go as far as taking him without your uncle's consent or knowledge, which you didn't really care for.
You got into UA. Once you got into Highschool, you became well known. Aced all your test, made sure to be well behaved and played well with others. Your quirk was also praised by many. you rarely flaunted your quirk; in all honesty you were too lazy too.
Shouto has looked up to you from day one. So, when he got news of you getting into UA and how good you were doing. He worked harder.
When Shouto finally got into UA, you and he didn't get to see each other, due to you being very busy with a problem and him being fixated on training harder to overthrow All-might.
You really did want to see your dear cousin, but you felt like he could handle himself, so you continue taking care of business.
When the attack on JSU happened, you left with the teachers, you didn't care what the adults said to try and keep you from tagging along, your baby cousin was encountering villains for the first time!
Once you got there, you helped as much of the other freshman as you could, the moment you spotted Shouto, you refused to let him leave your side.
After the USJ attack you were kind of grounded from outside of extra-curricular off campus school activities. No field trips, no special training sites.
Shouto felt really bad that he sorts of ruined your reputation in school due to him not being strong enough.
But the bright side, was that you got to be with him more. The two of you would walk around campus before class began, then you would drop him off at class, give him a small fist bump then take leave.
Your chill, you don't seem like the type of person to have an outburst. But Shouto knows, when you and his father are in a room together, an argument or just a full-on fist fight is bound to happen.
"Why is this child in my house!?"
"Ya'll hear a bi**h?"
"Excuse me??"
"Your excused . . . Why you still here? I said you're excused. Leave"
It's no secret you disliked your uncle. Not after the things he had done. Things between the two of you would get heated fast, Fuyumi nearly called the cops the first time you and Enji actually started to physically fight.
If it means you had to sacrifice yourself for your family, you'd gladly take it. Because at the end of the day, your family was preciouses, even if Enji would be a little bug you wanted to crush so badly.
Family was your soft spot. If any of your cousins came up to you to ask the impossible, you'll do it without question. But at the moment, you don't mind just walking around campus with Shouto. Just you and him, no worries in the air.
Just a quiet and warm feeling around the two of you.
Tumblr media
{This is a short one, mainly used for what Y/n would be like in most of the upcoming BNHA fics}

"i didn't catch your name"
PRO!!Shoto Todoroki x FIGURE SKATER!!reader NB!
sypnosis: reader is japan's applauded figure skater champion makes come back after recovering from a serious injury by practicing for nationals and comes across Pro Hero Shoto Todoroki. He is amazed by her talent's and was determined to get to know her more.
TW: mentions of injuries.
Tumblr media
Everything was going fine that day. Your coach was happy and your body ached a little less than usual. Your jumps where being executed smoothly and you loved the program you were skating.
You've been taking a break from skating due to an injury you acquired practicing a poorly executed quad lutz, so coming back felt like a relief compared to sitting at home, rotting in your room and judging your abilities compared to other skaters. But it gave you more time to catch up on daily news and some events your friends invited you too, you didn't know it at the time, but you needed that break.
You took a deep breath, breathing in the icy air. You stood on the entrance to the rink, your hands on either side of the corner bars. The jumps you where going over today where simple, a triple lutz and a quad twist. Putting your foot forward, you skated onto the rink letting your body relax and move in the direction gravity was pushing you in. It felt good to be back again.
It had been about 45 minutes on the rink, your heart was racing and your back had a small wet patch from where the sweat built up. You didn't think you'd be opting out for a break this quickly but its whatever. You where about to turn around and skate to the direction of the exit of the rink until you felt a pair of eyes staring into you from behind. You tensed up, you didn't know for certain if someone was actually staring at you but you just became nervous, as if you where performing for judges for the first time.
As casual as possible, you decided to make a quick turn, but slow enough for you to have a good view of who was staring so intently. Surely you can make this look smooth without making it obvious you knew someone was there.
That's until you saw WHO exactly was there.
The one and THE only, fire and ice hero, Shouto todoroki.
Your mind went blank, what do you do in a situation like this? Instead of casually turning and making a swift exit, you just stood there for what felt like forever which in reality was about 7 seconds.
"sorry, you can carry on. I didn't mean to disturb you."
With that you're broken out of your trance. Letting the muscles in your face to relax and throw him a soft smile as your shoulders ceased at the tension they created.
"it's alright, i was finishing up anyways.."
A million thoughts was going through your head; did he see all of that? how long was he there for? WHY IS HE HERE?
"that's a shame, i was looking forward to seeing more."
You've lost all control at this point, your breath was heavy and your posture presented a small child seeing a spider 7 feet away. You skated closer to him, to get a better view of the long split coloured haired man.
"my name is Todoroki, Shouto."
"i know.." you said in response, to which he threw back a chuckle.
He stood there for what felt like years, staring at you with a small smile. He was captivated by you. Your talent was not like any other, he could see the passion you had for skating. He fell in love with the way you held yourself together and how gracefully you moved your body, and god how he adored that face.
"i'm here to pick up my sister, she likes to skate sometimes and i thought i'd drop by"
'so thats why' you thought, still slowly making your way towards him, having only a small wall from dividing the both of you.
He started to fumble with something in his pocket, looking down to navigate what he was trying to find before his mouth opened.
"i've got to leave though, could you give me your number?"
he said, pulling out a pen and offering you his hand to write on.
"i'd love to see one of your performances one day."
you let out a smile and grabbed the pen out of his hand, softly grazing over the back of his palm as your wrote your number down. His hand was warm but slightly rough, probably due to all the hero work he has to do.
He smiled down at you, with a soft expression.
"i'm sorry but i dont think i caught your name."
you giggles and moved your face closer to his, leaning on the edge of the semi-wall.
"that's because i didn't throw it"
.
.
.
do ya'll want a part 2 to this because icl i wanna make this longer but im only going to do it if you want me too. I've been so obsessed with the idea that todoroki would date a figure skater, it just makes sense in my brain for some reason but this was really rushed as i don't actually know how they would meet so this is the best i could come up with, sorry :/.
love you all though! dont forget to follow my socails;

Heat of the island
“How’d he die, (Y/n)?” Katsuki asks for the last time.
The last time for all of them.
There is something in the air. A sharpness to the quality that just doesn’t sit right. It is past tension and disbelief. Whatever it is, it’s off-putting and confusing. Something isn’t right and you may be the only one to notice it.
And that’s terrifying being among heroes.
A/N: i dont own bnha. tried to edit this the best i could. it's not the best but it'll work tw: plane crash, minor character death, allergies. reader x deku, reader x shouto
“Is everyone clear on the proper procedure?” You ask with your most professional voice.
“She’s acting like she doesn’t know us.” You point to the “whisperers” who are huddled together rather than listening to your instruction. “I do know you unfortunately, which is why I’m asking if you understand.”
Kaminari cackles and Kirishima rubs the back of his neck and mutters an apology. Mina jumps up with Ochako and Tsu, singing a tune about a fabulous vacation. Momo smiles sweetly and encourages it. It’s a wonder how they got through school like this, honestly.
Rolling your eyes, you go to the cockpit. Normally, you would take one of your bigger aircrafts when sporting this many people. It's just Ol’ Betty, your beautiful creation, is your flight of choice today. She wanted to fly again since it’s been a hot minute.
When you were a student in U.A., you worked tirelessly on a plane. A plane that would be safe, light, and secure. One built for speed and is amphibious too. No matter how many times Power Loader told you to make anything other than Betty, and how people made fun of her look, you were determined to finish her. Her mixed pieces of old junk metal, mix matched parts and seats, made her unique and familiar.
Finally, she was born in the nick of time. Right when Shigaraki attacked U.A. and the defenses crashed, it was you who gathered people into Betty and her attachments. She took off like lightning to Shitesku. It was your own version of heroism. Perhaps this is why these heroes trust you so much with Betty. Although she was made by your own hands, she is the best of the best. No other plane was up for the job to transport so many people yet there you and Betty were, ready, willing, and able.
You sit down and nod to your co-pilot, Jay. The plane comes to life and drives. Seconds later, she’s in the air she was made for.
“You sure are eating a lot of those.” Jay continues to eat his fifth bag of peanuts. “They’re good.”
“Honey roasted?” You ask.
“How’d you know?” You side eye him. “’Cause they’re mine punk, slow down on them.”
Jay smacks his lips and continues to eat them with one hand. You’ve known Jay since before you got your license. He was in General Studies, wanting to be a pilot. He sought you out for you to train him. Ever since then, he’s been your right hand. Jay was taking notes on how to create a Betty of his own, even though he criticized every little thing you did. To this day you want to smack the shit out of him.
“It’s okay, though. It's fair since I ate your Debbie’s.” He shrieks. “You ate my Little Debbie’s?”
You hum in response with a grin on your face. “I just love Zebra Cakes.”
“You motherfucker. I can’t have nothing nice.” He pouts and rolls his eyes at you. You laugh at him, just enjoying the ride.
The heroes you are carrying, Uravity, Deku, Dynamite, Pinky, Chargebolt, Creati, Red Riot, Froppy, Anima, and Shouto, are all relaxing and enjoying the ride. Shouto, as you suspected, is asleep the moment the flight started. Katsuki relaxes by the window at first until Izuku starts to excitedly talk about their vacation. The girls sing together and Denki dances in his seat, slightly scaring Koda who just wants to land already. Lastly, there is Eijiro who’s just trying to survive.
All these crazy ass people aboard your precious child. Thankfully, it doesn’t require gasoline like regular, old fashioned planes. No, your baby is charged up with energy and her own determination to go and get them away from you and to their vacation.
“Where are we headed anyway?” You show your co-pilot an island just west of Japan. It should be no more than a few hours flight if that long. With your experience of flying this way, it will be a breeze if everything cooperates, which no doubt it will. Betty is a speed loving machine that has never failed.
“They’re going on vacation. It’s our job to get them there and celebrate when they leave,”  You poke your friend on the shoulder and whisper, “And preferably leave with a couple of drinks.”
Setting the course, you put on auto-pilot and pat Jay. “I’ll be back I have to use the bathroom.” In just a few minutes you are out of the bathroom and face your passengers.
“Pilot?” You turn to see Izuku shyly say your nickname that was given to you in high school. “Thanks for the ride.” A slight blush paints his cheeks. He looks away not wanting you to see it. The big guy practically takes up the doorway.
When you two met, you were in high school. You in the support department and him in the hero course. While he usually went to Mei for gear, you were visited for more flight-based items. Once Izuku triggered his Float, he was a client of yours too. Especially when he discovered that you were quirkless. Throughout U.A. it was only the two of you who were quirkless. Moreso you than him given One For All. Nevertheless, the coincidence of quirklessness gave a sense of camaraderie between the two of you.
Growing up with him for three years you got to see the many changes in his body. By the third year, he grew over a foot if not more. Now in the mid-twenties, his muscles are proportionate to his height. He still has his green curls but they’re shorter with an undercut now. His green eyes are still very round and big while his freckles are still prominent on his cheeks.
Honestly, it’s insane how much he’s changed physically. Izuku Midoriya is a man now. A deep voiced man that is so shy around you. Deep inside, he’s still a little nerd.
“My pleasure Izuku.” He turns beat red at the sound of his first name. After all this time he’s still blushing from it. You’ve never been one to call others by their last name. Hell, the teachers at U.A. don’t even get that treatment. You’ll never forget Shouta’s face whenever you called him that. His hair stood up and eyes glowed red and not by his quirk.
Though nothing could top Izuku’s reaction. Steam came out of his ears so much that you thought his poor head would pop off. “T-t-tanks-I mean thanks!”
Not giving up the chance to mess with him, you press it. “Well, how could it not be my pleasure to fly the number one hero.” You tease. Izuku wants to cover his face so badly.
Without the need of a mind reading quirk, you can hear the ‘You’re a hero, Izuku! You’ve faced tougher than this! You’re a man now, not a kid.’
When he first became a hero, you caught him telling himself that. Ever since then you’ve just known when he was saying it. You can admit that he’s cute. Hell, maybe not cute as much as handsome. He straightens up and stares at you dead on, ready to say something. “ Deku! You’re acting like Mineta, you little-”
“Don’t be mad because you're still on the ‘Pilot’ level, Katsuki. He’s got first name privileges.” You yell over Izuku’s shoulder. “I do?”
“Yep! It’s okay, Izuku.” You squeeze his callous, large hand. “Go on sit down. This is a safety hazard.”
“It is?!” Mina asks. “ Yes, it is miss . You’d know this if y’all listened!” It isn’t anymore at least. Not since you’ve taken off and have been in the air for a while. It's an innocent lie to get them to calm down.
You take off back to the cockpit, pushing back the red curtains for just a moment. Teenage you didn’t think about a door, okay? So the curtains stay for now.
Deciding not to check if Betty is on track, you instead lean back and enjoy the ride. Betty is on autopilot anyway. Nothing is going to go wrong.
With the singing and laughing in the back, the quiet sound of your own song, you don’t realize that this is the last bit of happiness and that you should have been more observant of your surroundings.
Suddenly, the sky is flushed with a dark blue that morphs into a stormy grey. Clouds are fluffy and reveal some streaks of light in their creases. There hasn’t been any noise yet. Nevertheless, the image itself is telling. There is a deep, eerie feeling in the pit of your stomach.
“Thunderstorm? There were no reports today...”
Before the ride, you checked everything to see how the air would be. Nothing showed that this should be happening. It was forecast that it would be a mild day. However, random storms can occur. Nothing is ever set.
Mina’s shouting is the clearest of them all. “What’s wrong with the plane!”
The turbulence is always scary for passengers. You grab the speaker and say beautiful words. “Please shut up. It's just a thunderstorm.”
“Are we going to die?!” You roll your eyes. Turbulence is scary but not concerning. It happens all the time.
“Denki, please shut up. No one is going to die. It's just a storm. We've been through worse.” You hang up the mic and continue on. It is weird that this happened so suddenly. There wasn’t any indication either. It was just a sudden darkness that washed against the sky after what seemed like a wave of blue. It kind of reminded you of an actual ocean wave.
“It’s fine. Nothing you haven’t been through before, (Y/n).”
Minutes pass with ease and only the slightest turbulence. Jay has been suspiciously quiet for a while. “Probably asleep, knowing him.”
Poking him, you call him. “Jay, how’d you expect to get to this level if you’re sleeping?”
He’s turned away from you. All you can see is the back of his head and the collar of his jacket high up on his neck, close to his cheeks. Pushing him now, you see him clearly when his face turns to you. His face has a tinge of blue and it’s swollen.
You scream at the top of your lungs.
“Jay? Jay?! Jay!” You shake him. What the hell is going on?! He was just fine minutes ago! You continue to shake him and call his name. It takes a moment for everything to dawn on you. The coldness of his skin finally wakes you up. It all  starts to make sense. The peanuts, the silence, the equipment, the storm, all of it. You look at the screens again. No fucking wonder, it's because you’re off course.    Jay was never sleeping. As he was suffering at some point, he must have messed with the controls on accident when you weren’t here.
He isn’t sleeping. Jay is swollen and blue and has crusted tears. Calling and crying his name isn’t waking him up. He’s not breathing.
His seatbelt is off at the worst time. A particularly strong turbulence interrupts your cries for your friend. The bounce of the plane is so strong that it moves his body on top of the dash. Tears stream down your face.
“Jay, I love you. But move your dead body!”
You push him off to control the plane again. Again, a blue color surrounds the sky that doesn’t look natural. It looks like a light almost. “Pilot? What’s going on?”
Izuku rushes to you only to see you crying, trying to get control of the plane and Jay on the ground, motionless.
“I didn’t even know. He had a check up! I-he pushed-he's cold! Check on him, please! ”
This can’t be happening. For some reason, the plane isn’t cooperating. In all of your experience, nothing like this has ever happened. The plane is refusing to steer correctly. Checking your equipment, you can see from your end that everything is fine. As a pilot, you need to take responsibility, yes. You shouldn’t have been negligent. But, at this moment, it feels as if the plane is being pulled down.
Izuku doesn’t know what’s happening here, but what is so painfully obvious is that the plane is about to crash. No matter how much you try to lift it, Betty refuses to raise up.
How could this have happened? How? Jay doesn’t have a peanut allergy! He had a check up recently and ate peanuts all the time before. It had been a while, but honey roasted was his favorite! Maybe it’s not peanuts? It could have been anything, right?
You killed him.
What else could have done him in?
Jay, Jay, Jay! He's so cold too. You are the one who bought the peanuts. You watched him eat them. You are the one who wasn't paying attention.
“Izuku, go sit down!”
“I can’t, (Y/n).” Before questioning why, he leans in and says, “My danger sense is going off.”
There’s a flash of lightning and the rain is pouring so hard it’s pounding. The lights are going crazy as the plane continues to bounce from the strange force and your will to control it.
Deep inside of your gut you feel it too. The plane dodges the strikes of lightning. Usually, you’d be able to navigate a storm and planes wouldn’t have to worry about dodging. However, this storm is drastically different.  It’s not natural, you can feel it. Can Izuku?
“Obviously! We’re going down! Just try to sit your ass down.”
Finally, you see a small strip of land, an island. You could try to continue to fly through this or land until it gets better. Another wash of blue comes for the plane right as lightning strikes brightly. Your head begins to hurt, you feel dizzy and confused. A sharp chill runs up your spine and makes your hair stand up. For some reason your eyes can’t seem to focus on anything.
You push the special landing gear. Izuku wraps his large body around you, purely on instinct. Stretching your arm to push one more button and the yoke, you somehow, among all the chaos and heartbreak, are actually managing to land the plane.
The plane dives as you say, and the blessed features come out in time. Along with the average plane safety features, you installed a soft pad that lightens the plane before impact and if need be, floats in water. A parachute deploys and sends a bright flare into the sky. Cushions envelope the passengers to brace for impact. All these features were put in when you were a teen. They were random and some were based on heroes. Power Loader would roll his eyes at it until he saw it work when All For One and Shigaraki tried to take it down. Every passenger on board was completely safe.
After that, no one ever made fun of Betty. Funny how far you and Betty have fallen. Literally.
Strong arms tighten around you, Izuku pushes himself in front of you. With one last effort, you stretch your hand higher. “Iz-uku! One more .”
Screaming, your finger finally presses the button for nearby pilots, authorities, and radios for help. There is a good chance that it won't work. Nevertheless, Betty was going down by this mysterious storm and you can swear that there’s something pulling her down.
---
You wake up first. By the time that happens, the sun is shining brightly, and the heat is horrible. Tremendously sweating, it gets worse when Izuku becomes a boa constrictor and squeezes you. Your face smashes into his chest. “Izuku, please...” You gasp.
Moving slightly, your mouth comes to face his neck. Heavily breathing, you bite his neck. He wakes up with a hiss. “W-what?”
“Wake up, please.” A whisper is enough to make him alert. Izuku pops up and looks around. Somehow, he’s completely intact despite using himself as a cushion for you. His green eyes study you. His hands roam over your body to look for any wounds.
“Are you okay? Can you see me?” You nod and prop yourself up. “Slow down, slow down, Pilot.”
Groaning, you tell him you’re alright but you’re not sure about everyone else. “A cushion should’ve deployed. We have to go check though.”
As Izuku holds you up, Jay’s body lay behind him. “Huh?” Izuku looks behind him.
“What?” You try to see what he is staring at, but Izuku shuts that down.
“Sh, sh, don’t look. Don’t look.” Izuku holds your face towards him and leads you away. Your eyes burn and lip wobbles. It’s a surprise when lips touch your head.
You don’t even think about that. Who cares? Jay is gone. Betty crashed. The passengers may be gone for all that’s known. Where are you? The course was set, and the sky was clear. No storm came up on your reports and equipment. Not even a hint of a formation.
Jay, oh Jay. What did you do?
Why are you blaming him, you who bought the peanuts? You who didn’t check on him. Some friend you are. You killed him. You should’ve known what was happening. You swallow hard at the nausea.  You whisper so quietly, Izuku doesn’t hear you. “God help me...” Help Jay, help everyone.
Everyone is safe, as far as you can see. The cushions on their chairs safely encased them. The seatbelts are wrapped around their body. You give a sigh of relief that there isn't a gory sight.
Walking to the first aid kit, you get the scanner that checks not only their temperature, but also any wounds they may carry. It is something Recovery Girl gave you when you helped at U.A.’s fortress all those years ago. You press it to Koda’s forehead then bring it down.
“97, sore throat?” That never happens with Koda. As long as you have known him, he has always made sure to care for his throat. Hell, Momo relishes that he comes to her for tea and honey. Then again, the sore throat could have been from him screaming, if he even did.
The news that he was generally okay feels like a heavy weight’s been lifted. That news alone is not able to completely release the guilt and heartache, however. There is still so much that needs to be done, to be figured out, to be buried.
“Katsuki, 98, no injuries.”
His usual, if you remember, is at least 105 or so. It always ranged whenever he used his quirk recently. That tends to happen for all of those who have fire-based quirks. Out of curiosity, you press your finger to his palm. The callous skin is cooler than it usually is. In fact, his hands are completely dry as well. There is not a hint of moisture.
You go through all of them except Shouto, whose eyes have opened. He rubs the back of his head and looks around confused. Each seemed relatively normal and with little to no injuries. The oddities are how their usual care is opposite, like how Koda’s throat is sore and how Katsuki’s palms are cooled down.
At least they’re okay.
This whole thing is surreal. Nothing about what happened makes sense given how sudden it was and yet, everything is okay. Almost as if it never happened. Like the rush of a blue hue wasn’t there or the feel of the pull was imaginary.
“Izuku, face me.” He reads at a normal temperature with only a few bruises and exhaustion. “Did you check yourself?”
“I’m fine. Isn’t it weird that everything is okay? And they’re reading the opposite of what they usually are?”
“It could be faulty. You still need to be checked at least.”
“Even though it’s faulty?” Izuku rolls his eyes and reaches for the device.
Steps are heard then. “Here, I'll do it.” A barely cool right hand presses the device at your head. Shouto used to help with Recovery Girl with you when U.A. was a fortress. He felt that it was his duty because of the destruction Dabi caused. With you being in the support course, you had also taken up a few tips and tricks with Recovery Girl. Following her around and learning led you to be a big help during the wars and the fortress.
You taught Shouto everything he knows. Does he remember it? Probably not, the spacey brat.
“A mild concussion.” Well damn. “Are you sure, Shouto?”
Izuku looks at the device too. “We have to sit her down.” Izuku agrees and helps you sit at one of the passenger seats. “I’m so sorry, Pilot. I should’ve done better,” You pet his hand that rests on your shoulder.
“Watch her while I go check everything out.” He reluctantly leaves but knows you are safe in Shouto’s hands.
You take the device and move Shouto’s hair so you can place it directly on Shouto’s forehead. “I need two.”
“I know, this is just to check something. 98.” You place it on both sides of his forehead, only to get the same results.
This is off. Usually, a fire based user will run warm and an ice user runs cold. In Shouto’s case, if he hasn’t used his quirk and is fine, the device should read ERR. It is normal to have to put two scanners on his head just to read what his temperatures are in case he isn’t alright.  You remember the first time having to do a little math on him when he became sick.
Never has he ever been a normal human temperature. “I could just be off, Y/n.”
“Or the device is? It's hot out, so Katsuki's palms should be sweating a ton. And shouldn't we all be a little warmer because of the heat? But none of that is happening.”
He shakes his head. “I don’t think so. It's right about you. You don't look too good.” He grabs it from you and tosses it to another chair. You put your head in your hands.
“Nothing feels real.” He rubs your arms. He’s always been very comforting and awkward.  “What happened?”
It takes a few moments to remember everything, which you feel isn’t much. He nods as you tell of the random storm and how Jay is dead. “I feel like there’s more, though.”
“Well, the injury is minor. You'll be better in a day at most."
Aggravated noises come from behind Shouto. “What the fuck just happened?!”
Katsuki walks towards his friend (who he still won’t admit is his friend). “Where the hell is she!”
“I’m here, Katsuki.” Shouto stands when you give yourself away. “What the hell is going on? What the fuck did you do?”
“It was an accident.” Katsuki gets into Shouto’s face. “Yeah? By whose account? I know you can’t believe her.”
You understand he’s scared. It’s expected. But to think you’d endanger them on purpose is hurtful. Shouto defends you every step of the way. Ask Midoriya then if you don’t believe. He was with her.”
The blond leaves with heavy stomping. “Deku!”
Shouto squats in front of you. “It’s going to be okay, Pilot.”
“I don’t understand this at all.” You truly don’t. And neither does Shouto, you think.
No more than an hour later, everyone is up and outside. The heat is slowly becoming worse, and the air is too dry. The sand is doing nothing to help. The waves carry on in the background, doing little to overpower the loud complaints from everyone.
Mina is screaming that she can’t use her quirk. Eijrou can barely harden, Katsuki gives the saddest explosions that cause him pain, Koda can only get a bird’s attention, this is the same trend for everyone. What is worse is that Izuku can only feel the embers of One For All and gave you a hurt expression when discovered. As if you had taken it from him.
Painful, absolutely painful.
As the sun beats down on everyone, you swear you can see a sheer blue tint around you. It graces ever so slightly on their skin. The same color lays all around you. The ground, the abundant trees, Betty, even the waves as much as you can tell. You want to voice your thoughts, but the situation at hand doesn’t call for it.
------------
The heroes start to calm down. Momo, as usual, begins to plan for shelter from the heat. Koda and Eijrou immediately run around for anything of use. It isn’t until Mina asks a question does everybody stop.
“Where’s Jay?” Mina asks. As the hour passed, your head began to get better. You inform everyone of a much clearer picture than you had told Shouto. How you found him, how the dash acted off, everything.
 Mina gasps. “Are you sure?”
“Positive. His face was swollen and his body was blue when I got there. It must’ve been the peanuts! What else could it have been, y’know? He was completely fine when I left for the bathroom.” You sniffle.
“Allergies can develop at any age. Even later in life so it’s not impossible, Pilot.” Denki reassures. You rub your face with your hands.  Katsuki leaves to go into the plane’s controls to check on him. “There’s always hope, you know.” Eijrou says as he rubs your shoulder.
“It doesn’t feel real. None of it does. How could this have happened? He just had a checkup. Everything was on the up and up. How did this happen?"
“It never does feel right. There is never a good answer, either.” You nod and lean into the touch of the large red headed man.
“Huh, what’d she say about Jay?” Katsuki calls. You yell back your answer, completely confused. Suddenly, he appears with Jay. Jay, who doesn’t look at all as you described. Gasping, you run to him. Instead, he...looks normal.
Completely fine. Inside you is a delicate flower of hope blooms. Did you see wrong? Is he just sleeping? Could it have been a horrifying illusion?
“Oh my God. Jay? Jay!” Katsuki holds him out. You lightly tap his face. Abandoning the taps, you go on to slight shakes.
Your friend is still dead as a cold doorknob. The flower that tried to blossom is crushed to dust, as if Tomura himself had reached his hand and touched your chest. “What really happened, L/n.”
L/n. He hasn’t called you that since your first meeting when you were fifteen. As they study Jay, everyone gets increasingly confused.
He repeats his question as a whisper that only you two hear. “I swear-”
Katsuki Bakugou doesn’t believe you.
“I-I swear, okay? Izuku can testify that I'm not lying. Jay was swollen and everything. The swelling must’ve gone down.”
“And the color?” His face is still accusatory. “I don’t know, I don’t know! I can’t think of anything else that would cause it.”  Tsu puts her finger on her chin. “Is that possible? If that’s the case, then maybe it fumes that killed him?”
“What fumes,” Shouto comes to look at Jay. “Can cause this?”
You shrug. “I didn’t smell any.”
“But if he was blue, can people become unblue?” Denki squints as he inspects your friend’s body.
----------
“They’re supposed to be here by now.” Shouta Aizawa leans back in his chair with a beer in his hand. Going to the island for vacation wasn’t his idea or something he was looking forward to, but damn is he glad he went. With the beautiful sandy floor, the fresh breeze and beautiful waves, all of it is gorgeous. The lagoon to his right where his colleagues frolic around to the sky where the birds roam free.
Paradise.
Tenya rubs sunscreen on his arms. “Sensei?” He asks as he puts out the lotion towards the hero. “I’m not your teacher anymore, kid.”
His old class have grown tremendously. Iida, or should he say, Ingenium, is one of the most in demand heroes. His speed is unrivaled even by One For All. Iida has grown to save all of those in his path, making not only his old teacher proud but his brother as well.
Iida’s still a stick in the mud though. And he still does those robot hands for some reason.
“Haha, I know. At least officially you aren’t. But trust, Aizawa-sensei, we’ll always see you that way.”
Rolling his eye, he takes the bottle from the former class president. It is seconds later that Hitoshi, who Shouta can consider his own protégé, comes up to them and informs them that they have lost contact with your plane a little over an hour ago with a parting message that is nearly impossible to understand due to the static.
Shouta jumps up with a poorly concealed worried look. If you can go down, something is terribly wrong. There is no way a renowned pilot like yourself can crash just randomly.
It must be a villain. There is no other explanation.
 “Where’s the radio?”
