Got recalled from my study abroad due to the coronavirus and after 2 weeks in the university quarantine facility, I’m now locked at home thanks to nationwide circuit breaker measures. Unfortunately, I still need to finish the semester from halfway across the world, so here’s some CFD notes from my lecture binge today. This class is extremely challenging with lots of hard calculus and programming, but it’s the challenge that makes it fun!

Ironically I had a better setup in the quarantine facility than at home...

hi!! of course 😚 ryan is definitely an emerald green in my head!! and like the gemstone, it’s very rich in its color. it has a very smooth texture and almost feels slippery when you touch. but also to me it seems like it resembles the scent of fresh linen, very pure and neat!!

Hello everyone!! This blog currently has 10k followers which is a huge number of people and to be frank quite overwhelming. While starting this blog, I never expected to receive this much positivity and support. I’m so glad that I was able to motivate others while documenting my ongoing academic journey!!! So to celebrate this milestone I’ve asked you guys what you wanted and the votes are in but before that I’d like to thank some friends. (This is going to be a long post so I’m sorry)

@jeonchemstudy Thank you so much for being my friend/(lowkey)mentor since we started talking. Whenever something happens I always come talking to you and I’m not even kidding. Can I also mention the fact that we’ve extremely similar tastes and expectations out of life and at first it was kind of weird bc too many similarities but over time I stopped questioning it fjjd Anyways love you so much and thanks for being you.

@serendistudy You were literally one of my first friends one here and I’ve waxed poems about you a couple of times but I just want to say that you’re genuinely one of the nicest people in this community and I’m so glad to know you and call you a friend.

I’m 19 and never learnt to read

I live in the UK! I’m Kentish, but moved to another part of the country for university.

I’ve just completed the first year of my illustration degree. Before that, I did two years of graphic design at college.

I’ve been vegetarian since birth! Both my parents are veggies so I guess I just went along with it lol

I’m left handed ✌

I love llustration! Sasek is my fave, and I enjoy medieval/fantasy stuff like illuminated manuscripts (check out these creatures…) 

Local folklore and traditions are great! I like looking at the national dresses of different countries.

I go to a lot of live comedy gigs, and work at comedy festivals during my holidays.

I love the languages of the British Isles, and want to learn as many as I can! Mainly Welsh, but Cornish and Scottish Gaelic too… it makes me so angry when monolingual people in my country mock the indigenous languages so I want to do my bit to learn and promote them to others.

Ethnography, specifically about fan cultures are chef’s kiss excellent.

I’m about to start an intensive summer school course learning welsh! It’s supposed to give me A1 proficiency at the end of six weeks, and I want to get the most out of it.

I’m bad at self-studying because I can only work well when I’m held accountable. Going to use studyblr as a way to keep me motivated!

Online studying can be good, but I miss the community of a physical school. Hopefully I can make some study friends here~

hello to everyone in the studyblr community! now that we’re coming up on the last bits of 2020, i would like to just write a small thank-you note to everyone here that has shown me plenty of love and support.

i think i’ll be speaking for most of us when i say that 2020 has been a pretty rough year for a good majority of us. for me, its been tough year with more than its fair share of difficult periods. however, i believe this year has brought about little gems of happiness wedged between tough times. with your kind love and support, this small blog of mine has reached 20k followers. 

i’ll always be appreciative of everyone’s support for what was originally just a place for me to vent about my studies. this community has become a place where i feel comfortable sharing my worries knowing that there is always going to be a group of people here for me.
