Curse of the Sands - text adventure is released!

Curse of Sands – text adventure about mystery of ancient Egypt. In a country of forever sand. In endless desert. You have found unknown before pyramid. You have seen it in a dreams. And locals told you, that you need to be carefully with this.

You are archeologist and music fan. You are fan of rock band Iron Maiden. It is 80s outside and you are listening with your portable player album PowerSlave, it is by Iron Maiden, and it is just new. It is exactly about Egypt and magic. It is what you need as a young talent in archeologist.

And you are in country of sands and pyramids.

Text adventure gives you some options in some places. You are reading text story and moving forward by script. In some places there is a choice. Way you choose, will affect the ending and some twists of the plot.

Game is in retro style. Just like old text stories for old computers, like 286, 386 processors, maybe some 8 bit computers of Soviet Union, it can be such game in theory. It is a direction.

Solve mystery of pyramids. And look what it will be in the end of this text story! Retro text adventure is awaiting you!

Game is made in text mode. And it is a story, as idea. You read the text, and take play with selecting 1 or 2 by pression these buttons. It depends on game situation.

Yellow screen. It has stylization with sand.

You will see strange dreams, cat and you will be inside of pyramid.

And look what will be in the end.

It has different text elements depending on selected options. And two endings.

Kingdoms - Obey Me TSL

[✧] ー Have you ever wondered how each kingdom in the Tale of Seven Lords looks? Part 2 of my TSL rants <3 all of them will come with the tag #♡ ┊ tsl rants by pk.

[✧] ー extra: Lord Diavolo, Barbatos, Simeon, Luke and even Solomon's places are mentioned too :)

The Main Three:

♡ ┊ There are three empires over all. Where angels, the holy creatures of light reside, is named Aurum. And where the Demons, creatures of darkness and sin reside, is named Sumbra. And then there is the land of humans, the place were creatures hold both darkness and light within themselves, known as Equilibrium.

♡ ┊ Aurum is ruled by a group of higher up angels named 'Father'. That father doesn't exist, but many believe it to do, especially the humans of Equilibrium. Some of the angels are known of these dark truths, and flee. The angel Simeon and the young angel in training Luke are two examples of the ones who flee, and live in Sumbra. The kingdom of demons, Sumbra, has one main Emperor, known as the King of Lords. That is where Lord Diavolo stands. That part of Sumbra is pretty much like a capital and has its own dukes, counts, etc. The roles are mostly based on Ars Goetia, much like Duke Barbatos. There are six kingdoms in Sumbra, ruled over by the seven overlords.

♡ ┊ And last but not the least is Equilibrium. The main king is King Solomon the wise, but the king himself is not seen much and is only named in stories. King Solomon the wise has disguised himself as a traveller between the three worlds and is known as a sorcerer.

Lord of Corruption:

♡ ┊ The Lord of Corruption's kingdom is by far, the coldest. Full of tall mountains and snow, and corrupted shadows. It is as if clouds are always looming over the kingdom throughout the daytime, and it's very rare for the people to see the sun. Nights are usually clear, but the shadows are ever lasting. The people in Lord of Corruption's domain are known for their harsh exterior but soft hearts, and they're very good when it comes to taming and controlling others. People are mostly wearing warm clothing, and they're very formal.

Lord of Fools:

♡ ┊ A deserted area, but full of glory. Imagine ancient Egypt, but make it eve more magical and elegant. The weather is usually hot, even in winters. As I stated in my other post, I like to imagine that his kingdom has multiple mines of gold and diamond, and many palaces like ancient middle eastern asian countries. The people are known for their good trades and they have connections all over Sumbra, some having connections in Equilibrium too. While Lord of Shadow's domain is good at training knights and war, Lord of Fool's domain is known for their wealth and connection, which makes them very scary.

Lord of Shadow:

♡ ┊ A fantasy kingdom, surrounded by water. The weather is amazing, if you enjoy being around seas a lot. Most of the people have their own sea pets and are great swimmers. I've once read that Levi trained and lead soldiers in wars, and so, I believe his kingdom in the TSL series is also good at training knights. The best knights in Sumbra are trained in Lord of Shadow's domain and have a badge that indicates that they've been trained there. They have huge troops of soldiers for wars and are known for their shape shifting abilities.

Lord of Masks:

♡ ┊ Have you ever seen pictures of magical forests where elves live? Where fairies fly around freely and magical animals walk around? That's the vibes I get when I think of the Lord of Masks. Also, many mystical animals are there. From golden deers to six eyed cats. The weather can be like rainy forests in summer, or as cold as the night in a desert. The whole kingdom, overall, gives cottagecore vibes. The people are known for their talent in plays and theatres. And if you want to read a good book, the best writers are from Lord of Masks' territory.

Lord of Lechery:

♡ ┊ Again another kingdom within mountains, but unlike Lord of Corruption's kingdom, Lord of Lechery's kingdom has warmer weather and more colorful flowers. Lord of Lechery's kingdom, or Asmo's kingdom, is also home to colorful birds and creatures that can live in mountains. Mostly birds though. The people are known for their fashion and amazing taste in colors. They're not that strong when it comes to war and magic, unlike Lord of Masks or Lord of Shadows, but the kingdom is supported by many. Many of the people don't see a reason for war either, why fight when all the other kingdoms love them and their lines of clothing?

Lord of Flies and Lord of Emptiness:

♡ ┊ The kingdom of sun and moon, the empire of light and dark. Where the skies are truly a sight and miracles happen. The kingdom is huge enough that it has been divided to two sides: The Sun, The Moon. This kingdom attracts many tourists, because sun and moon co-exist, they see each other everyday and even if they move, they're still together in the sky (which makes a very beautiful sight).

♡ ┊ Much like the kingdom itself, the people also have two sides. But that doesn't make them 'bad'. They have very delicious food and galaxy themed art. Things you can never find in other places of the world. There many accurate fortune tellers there and people who can read stars for multiple purposes, not just finding their way. The weather depends on where you are, the part dedicated to Lord of Flies? Pretty warm. Mind you, flies do exist there, and they adore the temperature. The part dedicated to Lord of Emptiness? You might need a blanket or too, but don't worry, it's not as cold of Lord of Corruption's domain.

In my head, you’re a Magnus Archives blog. I mean, I know you obviously listen to other things, but In my mind it’s things like Welcome to Nightvale, Malevolent, Hello from the Hallowoods, The Sheridan Tapes, things like that, horror and supernatural.

So I had to do a double-take when I saw a Dungeons and Daddies post from you, I really didn’t know you listened to it. Then I see you reblog a Fawx and Stallion post, and now I’m just wondering how many podcasts you’ve listened to that I’ve also listened to.

Hahaha yes this blog has been mainly for tma stuff for years now, I still feel like I'm new to the fandom but honestly I've been here through a lot of it since the beginning of season 5

Buuuuut in the past few months I've stopped going into the tma tag regularly and been feeling a little detached from it, at least as opposed to before. My listen to tmagp has been way less interactive and I hardly reblog content anymore (which is something I like doing but because of various bad experiences on the internet recently I have yet to recover from I feel safer posting my own original posts rather than reblogging)

And that freed up a space in my mind to realize I've actually been listening to a lot of podcasts besides tma and it's honestly a shame not to talk about them more with others

@desultory-novice this probably got lost in the notification sauce, so here it is again: the 1980s Girl's Cartoon AU!

The Kirby games are fan continuation/fan reboot of Kirby's Starry Tales, itself a spinoff of The Waddles; Kirby made his first appearance in the second episode of the three-parter, Waddle in the Wasteland. The episodes involve Waddle Town suffering a dreadful famine. Bandana Dee leads a small party of Waddle Dees across the Wild Wastes in search of the Mystical Soil that can grow any crop, and withstand any weather; their journey brings them to the oasis-garden of Kirby, keeper of the Soil. After the three-parter's conclusion, Kirby made regular appearances in the show, and gained enough popularity to get his own show.

(Incidentally, Kirby is white here, as my cute little nod to the NA Kirby's Dream Land box art! 😊)

The Waddles made their first appearance in the hour-long TV special, The Meta-Knights in the Cursed Country. On the orders of the Queen of Gibbous (a character made specifically for the show), Sir Meta and his misfit crew seek out the Rainbow Blade in order to cast the Dark Knight down. Sailor Dee knows of the Blade (specifically that it's shattered into seven pieces) and suggests they go to her old home (the eponymous Cursed Country) and ask the Wise Elder Dee for the yellow piece. Sailor's people made sporadic appearances for the remainder of the show's run.

And finally, the show all these other shows spun off from: Adeleine the Magic Painter! The first episode (a two-parter, natch), Paint Me a Problem, has the eponymous Adeleine (wearing regular 80s girl street clothes) worrying about what to make for an upcoming art fair. While on her way to get art supplies, she finds an unusual Paintbrush that sends her to the magical world of Pop Star, besieged by the Wizard of Nightmares. With the aid of some unusual characters, she is able to kill the Wizard in an explosion of colors (you could get away with straight up killing baddies in 80s girl's cartoons as long as it's all sparkly and stuff)!

Every subsequent episode has Adeleine entering the portal picture in her room to take her to a random place on Pop Star, helping whoever needs help and defeating various villains of the week; the iconic look she sports from DL3 onward actually originates from the Super Art Studio Adeleine playset. Sir Meta and his misfit Knights made their first appearance in the 20th episode, Never Meta Knight I Didn't Like.

Side note: Magolor makes sporadic appearances in all of these cartoons as the owner of the traveling carnival, Merry Magoland. His design is more explicitly "wizard kitty cat" here, and has vibes I can only describe as "a mix of carnival barker and used car salesman," so of course he steals the show 😊.

(Of course I had to include Magolor; he is everywhere, and also it would be super funny if this is the exact same Magolor from the games. Think of all the stories he could tell!)

My only problem now is figuring out how everyone else can fit in these cartoons. Maybe you have some ideas?

Rottmnt Donnie x (black leopard mutant) reader

Part 1

(information: your aunt/uncle owned a sanctuary for animals that were rescued, this was situated just a little bit outside of New York and you would occasionally help by taking in newborn or young animals and taking care of them for small periods of time at your apartment, you were allowed to do this and you had a license to keep animals like this, also you have been dating Donnie about 5 months,also the time period of this story happening is a while before Draxum became a good guy )

(Donnie’s nickname for you is Honeybee)

you were heading back to your apartment from your aunt /uncles sanctuary, and with you were two baby black leopards that you offered to take care of for the weekend, on your way back you took a very low populated route that at the time did not have many people on since you didn’t want people to get frightened by the two leopards.

While you were walking you didn’t notice that Draxum was above you with a large container of mutagen in his hands, as hard as you have tried to avoid him figuring out that you are dating Donnie, he eventually learned of this and decided to use this to his advantage, by turning you into one of the beasts that fight for him.

He waited and then opened the container dropping the mutagen on top of you and the leopards, as soon as it came in contact with the three of you, you started to change, you did not grow in size much but you felt that you were going through physical changes, your legs started growing black fur and started distorting into a similar fashion of leopard legs, you could feel your ears becoming longer and fuzzier, you can feel fur up along your back all the way to your neck and you could feel sharp nails growing from your fingers, you could feel your teeth sharpening and you could feel a tail sprouting from your lower back.

As for the baby leopards they grew in size by a lot, they were already 10 times their original size and much bigger than you were, they also seem to have sprouted 2 extra Tales and an extra pair of eyes just smaller than their original ones sitting underneath them, they started getting weird yellow markings on their bodies that were connected from their eyes all the way across to their tails.

You were frightened and so were the few people that were there, they ran away as Draxum approached you happy with the results, as he got closer you got angrier and more frightened, the two baby leopards could detect your fear, and with their new bodies immediately jumped in to get Draxum as far away from you as possible.

While this was happening the alarm in the layer went off signaling a large mystic energy blast was detected signifying a new mutant, Donnie could see on his computers that the signature was quite large, and he guessed that either there were multiple mutants, or this was a giant mutant and was just hoping it wasn’t a similar situation to the green mutant cat.

They got their gear on and immediately started heading towards the source of the mystic signature, when they got there, they saw Draxem fighting with two mutant leopards, one actively attacking him and the other staying in one place looking like it was protecting something, as they got closer they see that it was protecting something, it appeared to seem like a smaller more frail leopard.

When Draxem spots them, he decides to escape, he was already having problems with the leopards and now that they were there, he wouldn’t be able to get what he came for at all, once he left the boys shift their attention to the leopards who were both still ready to pounce and protect. Donnie then spoke to his brothers and said something along the lines of this is going to take a while.

Once you heard his voice your heart rate jumped even higher, as much as you love the purple turtle you were terrified for him to see you like this, and once again the leopards immediately understood the situation it appeared that they had a link of some sort to you due to your mutation, the one that was nearest to you immediately make sure to keep you out of the boys site and the other make slight gestures towards them just to get them to slowly back away.

After a few minutes of this Donnie immediately figured out what they were trying to do and informed his brothers that the two leopards were trying to scare them off, they found it a bit strange that they refused to attack them, the leopards were ready to attack Draxem to protect what they thought was a younger more frail leopard mutant but the leopards were trying their best just to scare them off and this was unusual to them.

Leo then suggests Donnie analyze the smaller leopard to figure out what’s wrong with it may be if they can prove that they are trying to help the leopards they will stop Being defensive, Donnie agrees and quickly analyses the smaller leopard, but he is shocked to see that the leopard had the same or similar DNA structure to you, and he announces this by screaming “ reader is that you”.
