jennie on the other hand is so victim coded, the type you stalk for months, grow extremely annoyed by the boyfriend that— in your words— treats her like shit, kills said boyfriend, kidnaps her to be with you forever and holds her in your lap every night as she cries while you force orgasm after orgasm out of her and makes her watch her pretty face showing up in the missing person poster on the news. so easy to manipulate and make her dependent on you, though, put ideas in her head that her boyfriend was in fact a bad person, that he didn’t deserve her and that you saved her. gets extremely disappointed with herself if you appear to be slightly mad at her because how dare she makes you angry, you out of all people, who did nothing but care for her, and crawls into your lap like a little puppy saying she’s sorry, almost begging you to forgive her.

tails - social isolation/ostracization during childhood. implied abandonment/neglect

shadow and maria - extremely limited social life, almost certainly boiled down to two people: each other and gerald. seperated from earth and its society and community. both seen as outsiders or "different" (maria being chronically ill and disabled, shadow being half alien and an experiment/"project")

sonic - implied to have been completely isolated from others before meeting eggman. put on a huge pedestal and therefore dehumanised by society. has been tortured via solitary confinement, plus forced to physically quarantine due to metal virus
