in other news i cannot stop fucking listening to Brokenheartsville by Joe Nichols and i’m starting to annoy myself with it but. i cannot stop. it’s too good
#Seven.txt#music stuff#it’s this perfect mix of being applicable to my current taste while also being a very nostalgic song for me#‘cause i liked it when i was a kid. and i recently heard it on my father’s radio outside. and man it’s been y e a r s since i’ve heard it#why is it so addictive to me#like. you cannot make a song that opens with the lyrics-#‘He wore that cowboy hat to cover up his horns. *insert seductive guitar sounds here* Sweet-talkin’ forked tongue had a temptin’ charm.’#and expect my southern and devil-loving ass to not go fucking feral over it#even when i’m not listening to it it’s playing in my head. was analyzing the lyrics the whole time i was in the shower earlier#but what’s funny is i think i’ve listened to it so many times that i’ve developed a whole new story than the one actually being told#but like. with how much he’s supposedly upset that this guy stole his girl or whatever#which i know he’s probably just comparing some dude to the devil and not actually saying that it was the Devil Himself#but it’s so much better if u picture it as actually being the devil that’s picking up this dude’s girlfriend in a bar#but anyways given how that’s supposed to be the point. he spends so much time describing the devil and ain’t got shit to say abt his girl#like okay buddy. we know you liked his cowboy hat. we know you liked his sweet-talkin’ tongue.#we’ve heard all about the make and model of his Long and Chrome Very Red Hot Sexy Devil Car#do u not have anything to say abt ur girlfriend. are u not gonna wax poetic abt her? no? too busy admiring the Devil and his Hot Car?? yeah#we’re gathering that#like.. brother… i dunno how to tell u this but i think u might wanna fuck him a lil bit#‘Love’s gone to hell and so have I.’ yeah!! i’m gathering that!! good for u dude!! get it!!#so now the whole time i’m listening to it i’m just like. this is a love song abt the devil!#which it isn’t. but it could be!! and so that’s what i’m choosing to see it as. bc i’d feel the same way tbh#i much prefer the idea of him being pissed that he missed his chance to run away w/ the devil than being pissy over his girlfriend leaving#it’s just so much more appealing to me im sorry#also. side note. when i was a kid i thought the line was ‘that angel up in the air’ and not ‘that angel who did me in’#and i don’t know how i misheard it so badly but now i sing it wrong every fuckign time cause it’s still cemented in my head from childhood#how young was i. hold on.#oh yeah it came out in 2002. so yeah i was quite young when i heard it a lot so i think im forgiven for mishearing it so badly lmao

why were you drawn to each one of your characters?
from asks for multimuses [accepting!!]
Tumblr media
oh this is a fun one,,,,, let’s see,,
creighton: i immediately identified with this idiot when i first played ds2, just his dedication and obsession and loving devotion that borders on psychosis and the fact he is a huge fucking extrovert despite it all… his design, his voice, his mannerisms, his disposition, his heart, his mind, his EVERYTHING,,, i was so drawn to him immediately and never looked back. adores my mans
magerold: another char i identified with pretty quickly, he’s such a dork but so insular despite it. his humour and positivity and goofiness and just all that fun stuff. my partner always jokes that i’m kinning my muses and maggie tends to be the one i do most. he is just fun and silly and i adoreee him. goofball
ornifex: orn started out as a muse i wrote as a side-char who i then got super fucking attached to and wrote more and more often until she stuck. she is just such a great girl with such a great, honest personality, and her dialogue is SO fun to write. best girl
navlaan: THIS motherfucker… he started off bc i can certainly identify with the metaphor in his narrative of having a sort of separate entity within yourself you know and can acknowledge and want gone bc of what it does and knowing it’s a part of you yet also not anD I MEAN U GET THE IDEA. i’m schizy as hell so i saw him and was just kermit nodding gif. poor vessel,,, i need to write him more i mostly write the entity lmao
rat king, titchy gren, and chloanne: putting all the tertiary muses together cus the story is the same: i wrote them as side-chars in threads long enough they kinda took over and became muses themselves. they’re a wacky bunch with different reasons i was drawn to them but it all boils down to: their strong personalities. the king’s pride and intelligence, gren’s snarky sassiness, and chloe’s passive nonchalance… adore them all
mohg: WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN WITH THIS MENACE,,,, his design is what immediately drew me towards him, but it got out of hand when i learned about his lore. his childhood, his upbringing, the fact he turned outer-hate into self-love, his LOVE and devotion that crosses the border into insanity, his everything is just so GOOD and i can’t help but feel for him a lot more than i probably should lmao. he is a very special muse and i am so glad i picked him up despite the ickiness surrounding his lore by some of the community. i may have him kinda-sorta on hiatus but he is,, very special
alberich: deadass i only found out about this guy like two weeks ago DJFJDJKS but i was drawn to him IMMEDIATELY bc of his lore and the personality that i instantly gathered of him from his encounter in the roundtable. MANIAC!!! but a fancy one!! i love clown coded assholes he is so good and has been a blast to write. no regrets.
laurence: the last but not least… i always had a bunch of Thoughts about laurence but never really thought i would put them on paper tbh,,, until a friend made a bloodborne server and needed someone to write him. i got attached to the idea really fast and then my love for him i’d been holding back just Exploded out of me and now he is a full-blown primary muse. i have projected a lot onto him ngl but it is Good it’s okay dw djfndj he is a bastard… no laurence apologists allowed in my house but i’m so glad i picked him up cus his backhanded and secretive, sly politeness and manipulativeness is SO fun to muse. adore him.
so yeah i think that’s everyone i muse on tumblr!! gosh that’s a lot djfjdks but ty ty for q!!💕

seriously if u ever find time/want to delve into chubby bucky more i will be there in a mf FLASH
chubby!Bucky is love, chubby!Bucky is life 🥺
FIRST DATE DRABBLE LETS GOOOOOOOO
he’s all nervous about their first date, can’t even believe she’ll show up.
How’d I fuckin’ get this lucky? Bucky thinks that every time he sees your name in his phone. He can’t believe you agreed to a date in the first place, but he’s not going to jinx his luck. You’re so beautiful, you’re the prettiest damn thing he’s ever seen.
Which is why he’s holding up shirt after shirt in front of the mirror, trying to decide which one you’ll like best. Hell, he’ll be lucky if you even show up at all. He has to have imagined the enthusiastic “Yes!” that left your lips almost before he’d even finished asking you out, with Steve giving him two huge thumbs-up behind your back.
When he finally arrives at the restaurant—thirty minutes early—he waits for you eagerly at the bar. But when his thirty minutes early turn into your thirty minutes late, he finishes the whiskey the bartender gave him out of pity, and stands up. No sense in wasting any more time. You’re clearly not coming, and he shoves down the disappointment. Of course you wouldn’t. He makes for the exit, grabbing his coat, when suddenly—
“Bucky!” You’re panting, your hands on your knees. You look up at him, and he sees sweat gathered at your hairline. “W-wait! I—fuck—train was delayed, stop closed by my house!” you pant. His eyes widen, and he feels disbelief wash away the hurt.
You’d gotten stuck on the train.
Bucky leads you back to the bar, and you apologize again, reaching for his hand. “I didn’t want to miss this.”  His chest tightens again, but this time, it’s for an entirely different reason.
It’s the best date of his life.
He can’t think of anything that would even compare. He takes the train home with you, just to make sure you get there safe, and you let him hold your hand the whole way, his fingers threaded through yours.
“You were in the military?” You ask, cocking your head at him. Your eyes stray to the dog tags still visible under his shirt, and he pulls them out for you to see.
“Yeah, Sergeant.” He doesn’t like to brag about his service, doesn’t really see the valor or the honor in it, he was a scared kid who’d done what he thought he had to—and come home missing an arm for his trouble. But you don’t ever stare at the arm, you don’t ask him about it. It’s just…a part of him you don’t question.
It’s nice.
You let him walk you up to your front door, twirling your har around your finger. “I had a really good time tonight, Bucky.”
“I did too,” he replies, rubbing the back of his neck nervously with the metal hand. “And, well, I know, maybe its forward of me, but—shit—I was thinking maybe we could, another time I mean—” he can’t stop rambling, staring at the stone awning over your head as his cheeks heat. He’s not prepared for you to wrap your arms around his neck and tug him down to your face. He’s even less prepared when your soft lips brush against his. You’re so warm and soft against him, and then he’s kissing you back.
He pulls you against him with a moan, crushing you to his chest. You let out this little mewl and his knees go weak, but he can’t stop. He doesn’t stop until you’re pressed against your own door, his leg wedged between your own. Bucky comes back to himself then, apologies rising in his throat.
“Shit, I’m sorry, I’m—I’ll go—” He’s gone too far, there’s no way this is what you intended. He’s already trying to detangle himself from you when you giggle.
“I would love to see you again, Bucky.”

---------------------
You opened your eyes to see that you were in what looked like a break room. There was a coffee machine, a round table with five chairs, a row of lockers, two Captain Americas, and a Winter Soldier.
There was some strange conversation going on.
“Then who gave me the shield at the lake…?”
Sam was questioning Steve, but he stopped talking when you started moving around.  You must have still been in the wedding venue, because you saw the name of the historic building on various items in the room.
You scowled up at Sam, Bucky and Steve.
You moved to sit up and Steve was at your side. “Easy…”
“Sweetheart, are you okay?”
You squinted at Steve. His hair was shorter and he was clean shaven, but he was still gorgeous. Those blue eyes were full of concern.
You raised your hand, and he held it, holding it and caressing it as you raised it to his face.
“Is it really you?”
Steve smiled ruefully at you. “Yeah, it’s me.”
You held his cheek and looked at him, bringing your other hand up to the other side of his face. He smiled at you.
You grabbed him and hugged him hard, and then pulled back again as he held you in his arms. He moved back and pursed those ruby red lips.
You had this irresistible urge to...slap the shit out of him. And so you did.
The sound reverberated in the room. Steve just stared up at you, with that fucking beautiful face, and then smiled, rubbing his jaw as if it hurt.
But you knew it didn’t. And you were tired of the bullshit.
Sam and Bucky moved to calm you down, but you were too quick for them, pacing to the other side of the room.
“All of you can stay the hell away from me. Y’all have some fuckin nerve. Especially you, Steven.”
Your Houston accent was shining through with your anger.
“Wow, Sweetheart, that was harsh. But I wouldn’t expect anything less.”
You pointed at Steve.
“Fuck you.”
You were seething, especially when he raised his eyebrow at your comment. But he quickly fixed his face when he saw the rage on yours. You looked at Sam, who just looked down, and at Bucky, who looked like he was in pain.
Fuck thier feelings.
“I deserve your anger. I didn't tell…” Steve tried it.
“You don’t deserve a got damn thing. Not even my anger.”
Steve was stone faced at your vitriol. You were shaking, trying to control your emotions and not cry.  You were so hot. You fought to keep your voice steady.
“I thought you were dead.” It came out as a ragged whisper. But you knew everyone heard you.
Your voice was low, even, and scary. Bucky looked at you with wide eyes. Your own were brimming with tears.
“I thought you were dead and that they didn’t want to tell me.”
You waved your hand at Bucky and Sam. And you waited until Steve looked you in the eyes again.
“I thought you were in prison, that someone, on some alien star, forced you to play some sick gladiator games. Or that HYDRA was still around and they turned you into an agent for them. Or that you lost your memory in the blip. So many scenarios played in my mind, Steven.”
Steve knew better than to talk. This was his time to listen.
“But I never ever once thought that you chose this. Never thought it was your choice to leave and to stay away.”
“Listen…” Sam started speaking.
“Shut the fuck UP, Samuel.”
If you had Bucky’s knives, all of them would be seriously injured right now.
“You knew that he was alive and you didn’t tell me. Despite me begging for any kind of information.”
Sam just pursed his lips and returned your glare.  You were right.
You went and stood in front of Bucky.
“James…”
He looked at you, those pained eyes making your stomach flip.
“How could you?  You knew?”
He just stared at you. Retreating into not speaking.
Steve spoke up.
“Yes, I left. Yes, it was my choice.  I thought I could… Well, let’s just say that hindsight is 20/20 and you can’t ever go back. I swore Sam and Buck to secrecy and I asked them to take care of you.  This all just got out of hand.  Didn’t it Buck?”
You watched Steve in disbelief and you swiveled your head toward Bucky and Sam again.
“You both lied to me. And Sam. Did you tell Steve to come back and ruin my life?”
Sam scoffed, offended. “No. I didn’t. S.H.I.E.L.D gave Steve quarterly updates.  You and Bucky happened so fast…”
You ignored his explanation.
“But you knew exactly where he’d gone.”
“Yes.” Sam was cornered.
You turned back to Bucky.
“I asked you a question earlier. Did you know?”
He nodded, imperceptibly.  “Doll… I…”
“James Buchanan Barnes. You knew?” Your heart was breaking even more than it was.
“Yes, but it’s complicated. He didn’t come back, at least not the way he left, and I thought it was a done deal. I thought he found…”
You interrupted him.
“What. Happiness?”
You turned back to Steve. “Is that what you were looking for, Steve? Happiness?”
“Sweetheart, you made me happy, I just had the chance to finally settle some unfinished business.”
You nodded.
“So James here took advantage of your little vacation to get with his best friend's girl while you explored your other options. Cool.”
It was not cool.
“Do you remember when you asked me if you could trust me, Steve?”
He just gave a little smile and came to stand before you, looking down at you in that way of his.  He was trying to shake you. You were unshakeable. You raised your chin and looked right in his eyes.
“What you don’t understand is that you can’t pick and choose the pieces of life that you want, Steven.”
You moved away from all of them. Steve stepped toward you, but stopped when you held up your hand.
“I’ve lived my life for everyone else, for this country, for as long as I can remember.  I deserve a little piece of life, Sweetheart.”
Steve really believed what he was saying.
“What about me? Do I get a choice?”
Steve looked around at his two best friends, who were now best friends, and his best girl.
“You’re right. I think you should. You should choose.”
Your mouth hinged open. You spoke at the wall, then looked at Bucky.
“What about you, James? Do I need to choose?”
Bucky walked in front of you
“No Doll. You don’t have to choose.”
You looked up into his eyes.  Damn, he looked so handsome in his bespoke grey suit that he chose for the wedding. And the tie that you gave him set off his eyes.
“I just….  I just wanted a piece of happiness too. I knew you were Steve’s girl.”  He took both of your hands in his.
“I don’t deserve you. When Steve didn’t come back, and you and I connected, I couldn’t help it. I was just going to keep an eye out, but…”
He gave you that cute little side smile of his.  And then he kissed you. It was short and sweet and oh so hot. You looked up at him, shook to the core. And then he ruined it all.
“I love you Doll. It was nice while it lasted.”
Bucky was giving up.
You nodded and backed away. Not believing this situation.
“Ok. I’m making my choice.”
You raised your chin and looked at Steve and Bucky.
“I’m not some fucking marble that you pass around, play with, and trade with your friend.”
You took a deep breath.  “I choose me.”
You were gone in a flash, before they could even register it.  And although they ran, they couldn’t catch you before you were out of reach.
-----
Three months later, you walked through the late August soup of Houston heat to the bar, pausing when you thought you heard footfalls behind you. You used your speed to zip along to Willy’s; you were safe there.
You were back sharking with the best of them.  But your training was put to good use.  You never got burned and you never got caught.  You were making a good living.
There were a jumble of misfit super humans who had gathered there with you.  You were a leader now. And you were doing well on your own. It was a life.
You already knew he was coming, and maybe that’s why you moved to the back room to play.
You were prepared, but when you felt him, you still lost your breath.  But you recovered quickly, straightening your spine, despite the fact that he was standing so close to you.
You looked at the dartboard on the wall across from you and chalked your cue.
“Don’t you have other things to take care of? Other wheres? Other whens maybe?”
You learned more about time travel since you’d left New York, and you understood more of what happened.
The Avengers had access to time travel.  If only you could go back… but no. You were stronger than those men.  You could live with your decisions. And move forward.
“No. What I need to take care of is right here. Right now.”
His deep growl stirred something inside you, and you fought your body, which was becoming moist at his proximity.
You bent over the table, super soldier dick poking you in the ass before you drew your pool cue back sharply into his stomach.  Abs of steel met the cue and nearly broke it.  He just stepped aside and shook his head at you.
You turned your head to look into his aqua blue eyes and you fell in love all over again.  Shit.
You gave up and turned around, leaning back against the pool table, because he wasn’t giving an inch, not moving from your space.
You scanned the room and your people were watching, but keeping your distance. They all knew who he was, and your history. They gave you space, but wouldn’t let you be hurt without a fight. You nodded at them and they all went to the front, giving you more privacy.
He nodded in their direction.
“People fall under your spell fast, I know that all too well. They trust you.”
You lifted your head. “I’ve never done anything to make them not trust me.”
He sighed.  “Point taken.”
“Why did you come here?  I know that you’ve known where I was. Sam must have told you.”
“I’ve known where you were. How could I not? I didn’t need Sam to tell me. It’s not like you were trying to hide.”
He cocked his head at you.
“But the reason that I’m here, now, is that I’ve always been slow at math. And I just put two and two together.”
You smirked up at him. “You’re right. This is home. A leopard doesn’t change her stripes.”
He just chuckled at your evasion.
“You wanna play a game?”
His eyes followed you, undeterred by your challenge.
You walked around to the other side of the table, leaned over and gathered the balls to be racked.
You held two in one hand and looked at him.  He smiled and the electricity at the small of your back was everything. He slowly walked around to you as you racked them.
He took in your form (including your ample cleavage) as you bent over the table and your mouth as you said the word, “Break.”
“I’m tired of playing games, Doll. I’m just here to win you back.”
You turned around and faced him, looking up at him, now aware of his smell.  You closed your eyes and inhaled leather and metal. You opened them again and his eyes were blazing.
“James.. I”
Bucky grabbed your face, hands gently cradling your head, and cut you off with a kiss, his lips gentle at first. Then his hands moved to your hips and lifted you onto the table. He slotted himself in between your thighs, your bodies separated by the same brand of black denim.
His lips and tongue seemed determined to possess you. Bucky kissed and felt your body like he hadn’t in a lifetime. His hands roamed you like they were starved from touching you.
Your hands were on his neck and in his hair, relishing the feel of him. You’d  missed him so fucking much. You drew apart, and his breath fanned your face as you two panted together, his forehead resting on yours.
“I am never going to let you go again.”
“James…”
“Hold on Doll, I’ve got to say this.”
He smiled and gave you another quick peck.  You nodded, solemn.
“I said the wrong thing back in Brooklyn. I don’t care that you were with him first. I don’t care if you think that you might want to be with him. When I fell for you, I fell harder than I ever have. Even from the train.”
He was whispering the words you wanted to hear months ago, causing you to cry.  But a lot of things caused you to cry lately.
Bucky smiled at you, his eyes crinkling in that adorable way that you loved. You opened your mouth to speak and he kissed you, silencing you again. You responded with a smile. He continued.
“I know that you think that I folded and just gave up on you on our wedding day. I was just thinking that I don’t deserve you. Especially next to Steve.  I mean, you won’t find a better man.  But in the time since, I’ve realized, even though it’s hard. I’m a good man too.”
“You are, James…”
“You helped me come to terms with everything that’s happened. Sam has helped me deal with everything I did...and I’m not perfect, and neither are you, but we can be perfect for each other.”
You nodded, smiling a little.
“I’m in love with you and I deserve you. You deserve me. We deserve each other.  And I’m not saying this because I think you saved me. But you are the strongest woman I know, enough to be with me when I am weak. I figured out that I can be strong for you too. I have to be now. I am so sorry that I let you walk away. But I’m not going to let you out of my sight now, even if you don’t want to be with me.  But I am asking you, again. Be my family. Make one with me. Choose me.”
You shook your head as tears fell from your eyes.
“James Barnes, there was never ever any choice. It’s you. It will be you. Forever.”
Bucky let out a sigh of relief and started kissing you all over your face, down your neck and into your cleavage.
“I was scared shitless, Doll! I love you so much,…”
You kissed him now, your hands under his jacket, slipping it off his shoulders. Next, you went under his shirt, feeling his nipples, playing with them as he shuddered. Then your hands went up to one cold shoulder and one warm, grasping them as he ground his hard jeans covered crotch into yours.
“Too many clothes.”
You ended up helping him pull his shirt over his head. You trailed your hand back down his abs to the button on his jeans.
“I missed you James. My hormones are going crazy, Baby…”
His eyes got wide as you popped the top button and bit your lip.  Bucky moaned.  He was about to explode just being near you.
“Th-that’s what we need to talk about…”
“Talk later. Fuck. Now.”
Bucky looked over your shoulder to the other room. To his surprise, the door was now closed.
“Wow, they…”
You hopped down from the table and got on your knees in front of him.
“You gonna let me suck your dick or not James?”
He looked down at you smirking up at him and could feel himself leaking in his jeans.  Three months of his hand had been torture, thinking of you.
It seemed as if he unfastened and pulled himself out without knowing.  For a moment he feared mind control.
But it was just love and lust.
You grasped him, testing his girth and admiring how your fingers did not meet around his cock.
“Mmmmmmmm,” you moaned while you thumbed his tip, collecting the pre-cum and lubricating him as you pumped.
He stared at you, slack jawed and sexy as he watched you.  He reached down and put his hand in your hair, massaging your scalp.
You commanded him. “Eyes on me, Sergeant.”
Bucky locked eyes with you and watched as you licked your lips, opened your mouth, and spit on his cock.
“Fuck.”
You pumped him a couple of times before you opened wide and took him as deep as you could, relishing the feel of his wide, smooth, hard unit in your mouth.  You pulled off of him with a pop.
“Damn I missed this dick.”
Then you deep throated him again, making Bucky have to hold on to the side of the pool table as he held your head while you spluttered around him.
“And I missed your pretty little mouth, Doll. Damn.”  He watched as you did it a few more times.
When you looked up and  he saw your ruined face, Bucky went feral.
He pulled you up by your shirt, pulling it over your head and wiping your face with it.  Then he kissed you.
“Fucking love how you do that, Doll.”
He started kissing down your chest, pulling your breasts out of your bra, pinching and rolling your nipples gently, a little more carefully than usual. He looked at you knowingly as you squirmed in pleasure.
“I’ve been doing my research.”
Then, he leaned down and suckled them with that mouth until you almost came, writhing in his arms. Bucky unbuttoned your pants and pulled them down, kneeling, and staring up at you as you leaned against the green felt table.
You stepped out of your jeans and panties and watched as his flesh hand glided from your ankle to your ass, palming it and then sliding back down as he lifted your thigh on his shoulder.  You shuddered as you could feel his breath on your cunt.
“I’ve been dreaming of this.”
His eyes held yours as he leaned in for a kiss, then a long wet lick of your cunt.  You grabbed his brown hair as his blue eyes hypnotized you and as he ate you out. When his metal fingers came up, whirring, you started begging.
“Please, James…please…please…..”
He laughed, mouth still fucking your pussy. He pulled away, chin glistening with your juices. His fingers began pumping inside you, the vibration driving you up the wall.
“Are you begging me to stop, or to continue, Doll? Talk to me.”
“Unnnh, unnnnh, oooohhh shittttt. Don’t ever stop.”
And then you came all over his face,  Bucky slurping it up happily.  He stood up, taking you with him and maneuvering you so that you could feel his thick tip at your hole before it breached you.
Bucky’s cock stretched you out and made you see stars as you slid down his thick pole while he was standing up, pumping inside you as he deposited you on the table.
You wrapped around him like a vine as he held you, cock pounding from the feeling of being inside you again. He pulled back to kiss you again.  He was grunting in his throat as he tried to speak.
“Fuck you feel so good...Fair warning, Doll. I’m not going to last. Been too long.”
You let go of him, and leaned back on the felt, arms braced behind you as you replied, “Just fuck me James.”
Bucky took in your body, from where you were connected up your torso to your breasts and the beautiful fucked out look on your face and started moving.
“Fuck, fuck, fuckkk.”  You took him, looking down to see the impossible stretch.
“Yeah, look at that. Looks and feels so damn good, doesn’t it, Doll? How the fuck are you so… so… fucking… tight….?”
“Yes, fuck, James, FUCKKKKK.”
All nerves were in your cunt as you went down to your elbows, and then to your back flat on the slate table, pool balls going everywhere.
Bucky pulled your hips off the table and really started digging in, hips snapping at a frenzied pace as his metal hand slid down your body. You could tell that he was almost there.
“Cum with me Doll.”
When that metal thumb touched your clit, it was over.  You came as soon as you felt his white hot ropes of cum drench your walls. You closed your eyes for just a second, and then opened your eyes wide.
‘Why am I curled up on a pool table after being fucked by my 106 year old fiance? What is life?”
Bucky laughed as he pulled his shirt over his head and helped you off the table. He looked around, going to get you a bottle of water from the vending machine.
“You good?”
Bucky eyed you as you got your clothes together.  He leaned next to you as he watched you drink the water.
“Baby okay?”
You ducked your head, smiled and grabbed his hand, putting it on your slightly rounded stomach.
“Yeah. I can feel him moving around.  Can you feel that?”
Bucky just stared at his hand, then at your face.
“Not really… Him?”  He was astounded.
“That’s normal. I’m gonna be able to feel him before you can, And yeah, Him.”
You turned more fully toward Bucky and he took you in his arms.
“I had all kinds of tests, to make sure that he was okay.  I wanted to know if… if what they did to me would affect…. “
You shook your head, then smiled up at Bucky.
“He’s healthy.  I’m 20 weeks. I figured we’d call him Jamie?”
Bucky beamed at you and nodded.
“How did you know?”
“Well, I figured out that you didn’t faint at the wedding just because of Steve. Why didn’t you tell me, Doll?”
You rolled your eyes.
“Are you really asking me that question?”
Bucky blanched and you decided not to be salty.
“Well, At first, I didn’t want you to feel trapped. I was so happy that you asked me and didn’t know.”  You beamed at him. “ But then…” Your smile faded.
“I’m an idiot, Doll. Forgive me.  It’s me and you. And Jamie. Forever.”
You two shared the kiss you missed at the altar. It was going to be okay.
“Now, let’s go get some food. I know you’re hungry.”
You laughed as you punched his arm.
“Ass. But you’re right.”
You two walked down the street to Ninfa’s Restaurant hand in hand. Bucky turned his head and gave an imperceptible nod as you two passed by an alley/
Steve returned the greeting as he stepped out and watched you and Bucky make your way down the street.
“That’s okay Sweetheart,” he whispered. “Buck’s a good man. But I know you’ll choose me. In another time.”
He walked to the quinjet, which was pointed toward New York.

Hey Val! I love ur writing so so much and ur amazing! My request is maybe like a Tom Holland x Reader where Y/N is a famous actress and Paddy’s celeb crush, and one day Tom brings Y/N home to meet his brothers and Paddy is vying for her attention and Tom and Paddy get jealous of each other? Thanks in advance if u decide to write this!💕
thank you so much love!! i took forever on this i’m sorry :( please enjoy
-
“you’re dating who?” paddy gawks, harry snickering at him from across the table. tom leans back in his chair. “y/n y/l/n. you’ve heard of her, haven’t you?” he clasps his hands behind his head. “i’ve seen all her movies at least twice. i… i love her!” his youngest brother beams. “so do i,” tom playfully challenges.
“darling, you should bring her by tomorrow. sam’s cooking us dinner,” nikki suggests with a supportive smile. hearing his name mentioned, sam peeks up from his phone. “since when?” “since your brother has a girlfriend he’s only just told us about!” she nudges tom’s shoulder. tom bites back the grin growing on his lips. “a girlfriend he loves, at that.”
“he’s not the only one,” harry comments and glances at paddy, whose whole face has gone red. “i guess i could whip something up. i’m visiting the shops later,” sam agrees with a nod at tom. he winks back. “thanks, mate.” turning to his mom, tom’s own face gets warm. “sorry i haven’t said anything, mum. we’ve been trying to keep our relationship on the low. dating in hollywood is…”
“a shit show,” nikki finishes for tom. her words make him chuckle. “exactly. we wanted to make sure we were ready before bringing in the rest of the world.” eager as ever, paddy speaks up again. “i think we’re the perfect people to start with, specifically me.” that earns a quirked eyebrow from tom. “easy there, padster man.” he looks him over, trying to figure out his motives. “if i didn’t know any better, i’d say you were trying to steal my girl.”
paddy points at him with a glint in his eyes tom has never seen. “you don’t know any better.”
the family gets back to their conversation, talking about what you’re like and how their dad’s gigs are going. tom is a bit distracted, though. he isn’t sure what paddy meant by that. realistically, he knows he won’t be stealing you away. there’s a huge age gap among other things. it seems to tom like paddy has a crush on you, a big one. he’s probably just excited to meet you. that’s good, right?
tom doesn’t think about it again until arriving back at his parents’ the next day. you’re with him this time, nervously clutching at your purse in one hand while your free one squeezes his. he frowns at your fidgeting.
“y/n… they’re gonna love you, sweetheart,” he assures you, his thumb stroking the back of your hand. “how do you know?” you wonder as you two walk up the steps. “because i love you, and i think paddy’s got a thing for you as well.” he’s smirking when he tells you this. scoffing, you curl into tom’s side. “i love you too, but what’s up with paddy?” you stand next to tom on the porch. he rings the doorbell before replying.
“he’s watched your whole filmography, all your interviews,” tom explains, shaking his head lightheartedly. “i’m sure there’s a poster or two of you in his room somewhere.” you pout your lower lip out. “aw, so he’s a fan?” “he’s my competition,” he jokes. your head falls onto tom’s shoulder with a sigh. “he’s a literal child, tom… and your brother.” you glance up at him wickedly. “maybe i can sign his posters. i think he’d like that.”
tom slips his arm around your waist, hearing footsteps come towards the door. “oh, paddy would be thrilled,” he confirms. your response is a hum as the front door swings open. “tom, darling. back so soon?” nikki teases her son, then gives you the warmest grin. “you must be y/n. we haven’t heard much about you, but we will.” you return the smile and let her take your hand to guide you inside.
after all the introductions, you gather outside to sit and talk. sam is in the kitchen cooking, nikki is helping him, and harry is setting the table. that leaves you with tom and paddy. they’re on either side of you, your head on tom’s shoulder and his arm around both of yours. paddy is talking about a school project while you nod along. he’s completely harmless, contrary to how tom described him.
“the deadline is next friday, but i’ve only just started,” paddy explains, you laughing softly. tom’s lips brush your ear. “i’m gonna look for something to drink. do you want anything?” he speaks in a whisper and trails his fingertips over your shoulder. “sure, tommy. whatever you’re having, thanks,” you reply with a kiss to the back of his hand. paddy clenches his jaw as he watches you two.
“what about you, pads? soda?” tom teases and earns a giggle from you. “i told you not to call me that,” paddy groans back. he scrunches his face up when tom reaches over you to ruffle his hair. “someone’s got to put you in your place. soda it is.” “don’t take too long.” you tilt your head back to look at tom. “i won’t.” he licks his lips before pressing them to yours, trying to deepen it form the angle.
“children are present,” you remind him, sitting back up promptly. “be a good boy and get our drinks.” “ok, fine. i’m going,” tom laughs out, pecking your cheek and standing from the couch. paddy rolls his eyes when his brother finally gets inside. he hates being thought of as a child by you, even if he is one. “so,” you start to fill the silence. “what else are you-“
“i think you’re an incredible actress,” paddy says instead with an innocent smile. “really? thank you so much.” you rest your head in your hand, grinning. “tom kinda told me already. he said you’ve seen all my movies.” “did he?” paddy repeats bitterly. he’d probably made him sound obsessed. you’re still grinning. “mhm, and that you might have posters of me.” his eyes widen, cheeks flushing a deep pink. he’ll never let tom in his room again.
“between you and me…” you look behind you to make sure tom isn’t coming. paddy scoots closer to you and nods. “i think tom is a little jealous.” “he should be,” paddy mumbles to himself. that doesn’t stop you from hearing. “what are you-“ “how about you help me with my project? i could use the extra hands,” he smoothly changes the subject. must be a holland thing.
“let’s wait until after dinner. tom is gonna be back soon, anyway,” you try to reason. you’re only fueling the fire by saying that. “i need to use all the time i have. come with me!” he’s grabbing your hands before you can protest again. you end up following paddy to his room, tom still sucked into a conversation with the rest of his family. harry sees you two pass by. he murmurs a div to paddy.
when tom gets back outside with two beers and a coke, you and paddy are gone. he frowns, heading to the kitchen once again.
“has anyone seen y/n?” he wonders and scans the room for you. “i think paddy stole her.” “they’re in his room. he just brought her up,” harry replies, his lips forming a line. a bit of anger bubbles in tom upon hearing this. “dinner is nearly done!” nikki gasps. “bring them back down,” sam requests. setting the drinks on the counter, tom sighs. “will do. give me a minute.”
tom’s annoyance only grows as he ascends the stairs. he can hear your giggling from behind the bedroom door, obviously caused by paddy. it’s silly that he’s so jealous of his baby brother, but he knows him well.
the door opens to reveal you laying stomach down on the floor and paddy on his bed. you’re autographing a picture of yourself while he gets books together for his assignment. tom isn’t sure what he was expecting, though he’s relieved this is all it is.
“oh, tom!” you notice him standing in the doorway and cap the pen. “you were right about the posters, babe.” “i see.” tom clicks his tongue. paddy scowls at his brother. “i can’t believe you told her,” he grumbles, you handing him the signed photograph. “no, it’s fine! i think it’s really sweet.” his face relaxes. “nevermind, then.” he’s now making heart eyes at you, tom inhaling a sharp breath.
“y/n/n, can i talk to you?” he asks quietly, eyes flitting over to paddy. “in private?” “um, yeah. i’ll be right back, okay?” you tell paddy with an apologetic smile. he shoots you a thumbs up, tom stepping aside so you can leave the room. “mum wants you for dinner in five, actually,” tom corrects. he’s quick to close the door behind him so he doesn’t have to hear complaints.
you’re leaning against the wall, arms crossed over your chest. tom walks up to you cautiously. “what the hell was that?” you squint at him. “i came back with the drinks, and you were gone,” he answers lowly, and not to your satisfaction. “which doesn’t answer my question.” “i… well…” tom huffs childishly. “paddy’s whisked you away! i wanted you to spend the night with my family, yeah?” he sets his hands on your hips.
putting your own hands on both his shoulders, you look at him knowingly. “babe, paddy is your family. there’s nothing wrong with some one on one time.” tom stares down at the floor while rubbing his thumb over your hip. he doesn’t say anything. “so what if he has a little crush on me? he’ll get over it.” you take a step closer to him. “what makes you think that?” tom chews his lower lip.
“he’s just starstruck. and, i’m his future sister in law,” you confidently respond, finally making tom perk up. he exhales a laugh and pulls your body against his, leaving a warm kiss on your forehead. “bonding isn’t such a bad idea after all.” “mm, i told you,” you bury your face in the crook of his neck. paddy leaves his room then, his face falling at the sight in front of him. this time, tom puts his pettiness aside.
“get in here, padster man. we’ve got room for one more.”

you were loved the most the most of all.
Ushijima Wakatoshi x Reader | breakup angst
Summary: You should've known that when Ushijima Wakatoshi found it easy to fall in love with you, it might be even easier for him to fall out of it. But who expects the worst when it comes to loving someone as seemingly perfect as him, anyway?
Tumblr media
Chapter 1 of 2
Chapter 2 of 2
Middle schooler Ushijima Wakatoshi was already more special than the kids around him. This, he was made to believe. It’s not exactly like it was wrong either. When a child is raised the way he was, with so much support that it’s suffocating, one can only grow to be good at what they were told they were meant to be doing. Volleyball as a toddler was meant for the happier times, a memory locked away as nothing but a feeling of nostalgia, never to be completely remembered again. Volleyball as a middle school player was an endless beginning, the very first point of a journey with no real possible end. Volleyball as one of the best among kids of his age, proven by the strength his high school team was known for and the fact that he was already on the world stage as well, could only ever spur him on to keep the momentum. Keep climbing, he would be reminded. Never stop. That’s how you reach the peak. Whether he would break after all that or rise to the very top was never even a matter of discussion. The way to the top was the only one there was. Looking back down and allowing himself to just freefall until the top becomes a distance almost crossed but never reached wasn’t ever an option. Wakatoshi could only ever aim for the very peak.
So, Wakatoshi, how’s volleyball as a pro?
The feeling of a dream-come-true that never was a dream, he might say. But him and sentimental descriptions simply didn’t really mix much. You were the one filled to the brim with those kinds of words. Maybe flowers laced the walls of your chest, maybe when God kicked Adam and Eve out of Eden, he left the garden to grow and flourish within your lungs, maybe you unknowingly raised every single Godly creation and so you were blessed with the power to create as well. You were full of flowery words, that’s what he knows. He would listen to every single one of them, count every petal, water every plant, kiss every one of them in their full bloom, and watch as sunlight filtered orange sets on all that you are. He’s always liked plants. But yours were his favourite.
So he wonders why the point where he could no longer listen to your words had to come. Why he looked at you and only felt the kind of fondness that comes with familiarity but not exactly love. Why the way your hands entwined with his no longer fills his chest with warmth. Why the abyss he spent trying to fill before you arrived (and made him realise maybe empty spaces were never meant to be filled to feel full but instead filled to feel warm) now feels extremely cold again. So maybe things like love do end. And maybe he made promises too soon.
So maybe when you told him about your mother and father and about how they made promises too but couldn’t come through, and when Wakatoshi thought you won’t ever be the same, he was wrong. Maybe one of them realised letting go when love no longer feels the same is better than letting their hands stay entwined when there’s only numbing coldness left to be felt. So maybe it’d do you better for him to let things end. From this point onwards, whatever he does will only ever hurt you. Because you crave the kind of affection that won’t ever end, and how he wish he could keep giving that to you, but he just no longer can. And staying with him who, for whatever fucked up reason the cosmos came up with, can no longer find the love he spent years sharing with you, is something he would never wish upon you.
This fucking hurts. How he fucking wants to keep loving you. What the hell happened?
After you left, Wakatoshi skipped training. He felt bad for eating the omelette when you cooked it to wish him luck. But he ate it anyway, wondering if he will ever see you again. And if so, will he feel find himself feeling the way he used to? And if yes, would you want that?
How do feelings work anyway?
--
You get to work right away. Still feeling heavy and hurt, sobbing at times, you keep collecting Wakatoshi’s things from your apartment. There were a lot. You were both comfortable with sharing your spaces with each other anytime you both wanted. Sometimes leaving things behind caused problems like that time Wakatoshi left his jersey in your apartment and only realized on the day of a game. You had to head to the gym earlier than you usually do, thankfully having washed the clothing a few days before. It’s actually there again, you find. His Schweiden Adler jersey in your closet among the pile of his other shirts and pyjamas. You put all that and other things into a box and close it up. For now, you’ll clean your place and get some sleep. You slept late last night and you woke up too early. Dealing with lack of sleep and the taxing feelings of ache after a breakup was too much. You were exhausted.
The moment you lie on your bed, you feel yourself falling asleep. And then you do. World gone.
You wake up at around lunch and take a short shower. You dress up, carry the box of Wakatoshi’s stuff, head out, lock your door, and go on your away to Tendou’s chocolate shop. You weren’t friends with him before you met Wakatoshi. So, you guess, maybe this will be the last you see him too. When people lose others, they either prefer to keep remembering or completely forget. For your sake, you’d rather be the latter.
Tendou’s shop isn’t close enough to the train station. You have to walk a few more minutes before you reach it. The box you’re carrying isn’t exactly heavy but you still feel sluggish even after that nap. You stop by a café to gather your wits and rest a bit. When you meet Tendou, you know he’ll greet you brightly. Toshi wouldn’t have told him that you broke up just yet. You realised long ago that unless asked by people, Toshi would rather not say anything most of the time. His silence was one you grew used to. Now you have to get used to not being around it anymore.
When you enter the chocolate shop, you see his red hair behind the counter right away. Quite the opposite of Wakatoshi, he’s lively and loud when he wants to be. Like right now, as he’s talking to a costumer, excitedly helping them choose one of the products they’re looking for. You wait until he’s done, just sending him a wave when he sees you, smiling. When the costumer leaves, you head for the counter and place the box you’ve been holding on top pf it.
Loudly, as you expected, he says, “hello! What brings you here? Haven’t seen you in like, three days, I think? You need anything? Where’s Wakatoshi-san? He’s not with you? Why?”
His barrage of questions won’t be left unanswered. But first, you nudge the box toward him. “Uhm, yeah, haven’t seen you in days. I… uhm, I’m here to ask you to do something. Related to Toshi-kun, of course, and well, why he’s… not, uhm, here…? With me?”
You stutter a lot mainly because you don’t exactly feel like announcing that Wakatoshi broke up with you. Tendou simply seems extremely excited to see you and even hopeful to see his best friend too but right now, you just feel like crying all over again It’s like you just can’t run out of tears. You just know that after this, you’ll go home and sob the rest of the day away. Breaking up with Wakatoshi hurt you a lot.
The redhead urges you on, concern beginning to appear on his face. What with the way you’re stuttering and fidgeting when you’re usually so comfortable around him and other people, it’s easy to tell that you’re not feeling too well. Clearly, something must have happened between you and Wakatoshi.
“So… we… kind of broke up…?” the lack of certainty in your voice makes it seem as though you’re still unsure if things really did end between you and the pro-athlete you’ve spent years with. But with the way Wakatoshi told you his reasons for breaking up last night, and how he didn’t want to keep hurting you because you’ve already talked to him about two other people who met and fell in love and did many things and yet still fell out of it but tried to hold on for too long that they ended up tearing each other down until even their daughter started to break with them until it’s just one tiny family with sharp shards for hearts, only capable of hurting each other and nothing more (some daughters grow up wanting to be anything but their mothers and fathers). Of course, Wakatoshi never mentioned that story, but you both knew that when he said he knows he can only really hurt you even more if he lets things run as they always did, he meant, we’re not your parents. We won’t tear each other down. If you go now, you’ll be okay enough to not be the person you’ll come to hate.
The only thing you allow Tendou to know is that you and Wakatoshi are no longer dating and that you’re both okay with it. You leave it at that, and when Tendou gives you a hug, the pain in your chest runs up your throat and you start crying again but that’s alright because Tendou reminds you that you’re sad and hurt and crying makes sense and crying helps and crying is fine and maybe crying makes it hurt a little bit less. He pats your back and says nothing after that, simply letting you calm down.
Before you leave, you purchase a few sweets because Tendou told u it’ll help. Chocolates and sadness work too well with each other.
The last time Wakatoshi remembers talking to you was around a year after your breakup. He and his team known to be one of the bests of Japan lost against the bests of Argentina in the Olympics. The world stage wasn't a strange new world to him and neither was loss, but for the first time in many years, the man found himself burdened by the weight of too many regrets.
He knew then that maybe it wasn't exactly losing against Argentina that made him feel this way. Maybe the emptiness he so desperately filled by pouring too much of his days into training and playing was finally there to break him. Maybe the whole time he was thinking he was getting there, not knowing where, only hoping to keep going because he just doesn't know where he can stop to lay his pieces down, he was only distracted enough to not miss the warmth you brought with you which you took with you when he broke your heart. And so when he lost that game, he questioned what could possibly keep him going. When does this journey end? Until when must he keep going? His parents never told him when he was younger. All this time, he only knew to keep forward. Now that he has won one too many games and finally lost one of the most important games he could play, he finds himself wondering if he should stop here now.
And because you knew him too much, you just had to, you know, be that rock that kept him steady even after he hurt you. He went and broke your heart for reasons he himself still cannot really explain, like how the fuck he knew he was no longer in love with you, and why the fuck is he still missing you, and is God playing with him right fucking now? So you just had to call him when he was all alone in his hotel room, mind messed up in so many ways. Your voice just to had to be there. To tell him, you did so well today. To be honest, I haven't watched much of your games recently but I felt like I just had to watch this one. And it was so awesome. It makes me wanna start watching you play again. You're amazing, Wakatoshi-kun. I'm so proud of you.
And then a year later, Wakatoshi finds out that you finally published the novel you’ve been working on since way before he met you. In the first message you sent him, you attached a picture of your book, saying, look at the name on the cover. are you proud of me yet? I am too<3. Better grab yourself a copy before there's none left, right? He couldn't say for sure why you decided to message him about it. It wasn't like you stayed in contact, both of you aware of how much you preferred not facing the past if you had the choice. That time after he lost against Tooru Oikawa's team in the Olympics and you gave him a call was because you're just that kind. You're just that amazing.
But like many things he'll never understand, he just lets this one be. So what if you told him about your book? He should be thankful enough that you even decided to tell him about it. So he goes and buys a copy and reads it as soon as he gets home. It's not like he's big on reading. But he just really likes your words.
Epilogue
...and if someday we find ourselves in a universe where soulmates are filled to the brim with not only stardust but also pure serendipity, I wonder what kind of mark we would have. I kinda wish it'd be that one where ink on my skin gets inked on yours too. Then maybe it'd be so much easier to tell you all the secrets I've been trying to keep. Like how I spent too many years regretting not succumbing in that green lake back home or how sometimes I bleed all over in red angry lines running down like red angry tears, and how much you made me just want to live because you just made me feel loved the most of all. Because maybe you were my finallyfinallyfinallyfinally before you were my whywhywhywhywhywhy.
The End
A/N

Diabolik Lovers VANDEAD CARNIVAL ;; Present from Sakamaki [PART 1]
Tumblr media
ー The scene starts in the classroom
Health committee member (1): ーー There we go. That should conclude the check-up.
Yui: Thank you. Phew...
( Hm...I wonder if it’s because I’ve been having my blood sucked, but my weight has gone down a little. )
( I don’t know whether I should be happy or sad...It’s a complicated feeling. )
Health committee member: Is something the matter?
Yui: Ah, no. This is my health report card.
Health committee member: Yes, thank you very much. (2) ーー Ah.
Yui: ...? Is something wrong?
Health committee member: Oh no, that’s not it.
Here...Your date of birth. It’s your birthday tomorrow, isn’t it?
Yui: Ah, now that you mention it...
Health committee member: I’m one day early, but congratulations!
Yui: ( I honestly didn’t think I’d have anyone congratulate me for my birthday after moving to this city. )
Thank you very much. I’m so haーー
*Rattle*
Laito: Nfu, Bitch-chan~! Laito-kun’s here to pick you up~!
Yui: Laito-kun...!
Kanato: You’re late. What were you doing? You really are such a slowpoke.
Yui: K-Kanato-kun as well...
I’m sorry for keeping you guys waiting. The examination has finished already so let’s go.
Laito: By the way, Bitch-chan~? What did you hand over to the lady just now~?
*Flip*
Health committee member: Eh? Ahーー!
Yui: L-Laito-kun! Y-You can’t!
Laito: Aah~ Right, they took body measurements today, no?
Yui: I’m begging you, don’t look...!
Laito: Hm...? Oh dear, oh dear, what do we have here...? I see...~
Yui: Geez, Laito-kun...!
*Flip*
Laito: Well, I’m not really interested in this stuff so I’ll be nice and hand it back. More importantly, let’s hurry back home.
Yui: ( Thank god. He handed it back right away... )
U-Um...By the way, where’s Ayato-kun?
Laito: The・truth・is...~ He got such a bad grade on his test this morning.
So he got called over to the faculty room~
*Rattle*
Ayato: ...The fuck?
Laito: Ah, well done getting through the teachers’ scolding~! We were just talking about you.
Ayato: Che...The fuck’s their problem? They kept on naggin’ at me just ‘cause I didn’t get the best score.
Kanato: You reap what you sow. If only you were intelligent like we are, you poor thing.
Ayato: Aah!? You two aren’t much better, are you!?
Laito: Eh~~? We’re not on your level.
Kanato: You had a single-digit number, right? Please do not group us together.
Ayato: Che...
Yui: U-Um, Ayato-kun. Please don’t beat yourself up over it...
Ayato: Fuck off! Come on, Chichinashi. We’re goin’ home already!!
Yui: Y-Yeah...!
*TIMESKIP*
ー The scene shifts to the limousine
Reiji: Haah...Because of you lot, we are running horribly late.
Yui: ( Uu...I’m pretty sure I informed him of today’s physical examination before we left for school today though... )
Reiji: For one, people such as you lot who fail to stick to a time schedule on a regular basis, will surely experience problems in your daily life as weーー
*Rustle*
Ayato: Oi, Chichinashi. Give me your blood once we get home, ‘kay?
This irritated feelin’ is makin’ me thirsty, so I’ll suck you plenty.
Kanato: Could you not just decide that by yourself?
I am just as irritated because you kept us waiting.
I will be sucking her blood first once we get home. Right, Teddy...?
Ayato: Ah? Excuse me...?
Laito: Nfu~ Bitch-chan’s blood, how nice. I’m hungry as well, so why don’t we equally split it amongst us three?
Reiji: ...Haah...I wonder how I got stuck with a bunch of stubborn fools who refuse to listen to what someone is saying...
Shuu: ...
Reiji: ...That being said, I suppose they are still better than the guy who falls asleep before he can even listen at all...
This good-for-nothing...!
Yui: ( R-Reiji-san... )
I-I’m sorry. It’s my fault we were running late. We had a physical check-up today and...
Since I’ve been a little anemic, it took slightly longer than I expected...
Subaru: Hm? ...Oi, have you really been feelin’ anemic?
Yui: Yeah...
( Could he be worried about me...? )
Subaru: I don’t give a damn ‘bout what happens to you...But it’d suck if you’d run dry of blood. Make sure that stuff gets replenished, ‘kay?
Yui: R-Right...
Reiji: Exactly. Your blood is the only value you hold after all.
Yui: ( Of course. That’s all I’m good for to them. )
( What made me think they’d be worried about me...? )
( I should know that already but...For some reason, it makes me a little sad. )
Laito: ...Nfu~
*TIMESKIP*
ー The scene shifts to Yui’s bedroom
Yui: Phew...Somehow I’m really exhausted today...
Tomorrow’s a free day, so I’ll hit the hay early and spend some nice, quiet time.
*Rustle*
Yui: ( Tomorrow’s my birthday, huh...? I wonder if I’ll be able to head out somewhere...? )
ー The scene shifts to the living room
Laito: Attention please~! Thank you all for gathering here on this fine evening~!
Ayato: ...Geez, what do you suddenly want? I was thinkin’ of droppin’ by Chichinashi’s room for a sip of blood.
Kanato: My poor Teddy had his snacks stolen by Laito, you know...!? I won’t forgive you if you made me come here for nothing!!
Subaru: Che...
Shuu: ...Pwaah...Sleepy.
Reiji: ...Now this is unexpected. I did not think you and Subaru would show up as well.
Shuu: No...I was already taking a nap here when you guys just started gathering one after the other.
Laito: Nfu~ I plotted this get-together immaculately, no~?
Reiji: ...I suppose one could say you used your brain for once, Laito.
ーー So, what is this about? Please stop beating around the bush, and explain to us what is going on.
Subaru: It better not be some bullshit or you’re not gettin’ away with it!
Laito: Hm~ Thank you for your typical input, Subaru-kun~ However, I’m pretty sure you’re going to love hearing about this?
Kanato: What do you have to tell us then!?
Laito: You see, it happens to be Bitch-chan’s birthday tomorrow~
Ayato: Ah? Birthday?
Laito: Yes, exactly!
So...I figured we would all throw a surprise birthday party for her!
Subaru: Ah!? Who in their right mind would waste their fuckin’ time on somethin’ so ridiculous!?
Laito: Oh come on~ I mean, she’s always giving us her delicious blood, no?
Ayato: ‘Giving’, my ass! It belongs to me either way.
Laito: Relax! That’s not what matters right now!
I don’t think it would hurt to show our gratitude and do something in return for once though~
Kanato: Surprise birthday party...
Ayato: Keh. Why do we have to show our gratitude? She’s our prey!
Laito: Eeeh~~~? I thought it’d be fun though. I mean, if none of you are up for it, I guess I’ll drop the ideaー
Don’t you think you’d get to indulge in plenty of takoyaki or sweets? It is a birthday party after all.
Ayato: ...
Kanato: ...
Laito: But well, seems like I’m out of luck, so I suppose I’ll have to give up~
Kanato: Please wait. I cannot possibly turn down an opportunity to eat sweets.
Ayato: I’m in too! Let’s prepare a whole mountain of takoyaki and throw this party!!
Laito: Nfu...~ Now that’s sounding more like a proper celebration.
Reiji: Haah...I feel ashamed having to call those three my brothers...
Shuu: ...Who cares. Just do as you please...
Ayato: Stop complainin’ if you’re not even gonna join in. That only means there will be more food for me, so don’t even bother showin’ up!
Kanato: Agreed. You won’t join either, Subaru?
Subaru: No way in hell I’m botherin’ with that annoyin’ crap!
Laito: Hm~ I would have loved it if we could all participate though. You’re skipping out as well, Reiji?
Reiji: Well, under normal circumstances, I would never consider taking part in such nonsense. Howeverーー
It cannot be denied that she has been donating her blood to us.
Furthermore, I cannot see things ending well if the three of you combine forces.
Worst-case scenario, the whole manor will be blown into the air...Which would be highly troublesome, so I shall participate to keep an eye on things.
Ayato: Keh, there you go talkin’ shit ‘bout us again.
Laito: Well, I guess the four of us will celebrate Bitch-chan’s birthday together then.
Reiji: Halt. Do you truly believe that I can supervise all three of you just by myself?
Laito: I’m pretty sure we don’t need someone keeping an eye on us though~?
Reiji: I am not that naive to fall for those words.
I am using my veto to impose mandatory participation on every member of this household, understood?
Subaru: Haah!? What gives you the right to do that!?
Reiji: Do you have any idea how much I look after all of you on a daily basis?
Subaru: Aah!? Fuck do I know!? Besides, we never asked you to do that shit, nor do we actively try and trouble you!?
Reiji: I suppose those being looked after do not realize how privileged they are themselves. ...That good-for-nothing over there is a prime example of that.
Shuu: ...
Reiji: Better be safe than sorry. You shall participate to protect the manor.
Shuu: Ahー ...What a drag. Fine, so just shut up already...
Reiji: Very well. Well then, Subaru. You will join in as well, no?
Subaru: Hell no.
Laito: Oh come on, why not~? You should join the fun as well. It’s not like you get the chance every day? Right?
If you continue to be stubbornー...
Nfu~ We’ll hold the party over at your room, okay?
Subaru: Haah!? No fuckin’ way!!
Laito: Perfect! That means everyone’s in!
Subaru: Oi!! Don’t make that choice for me!
Laito: Eeh~~? But then we’ll throw the party in your room though? Are you fine with that?
Ayato: Actually, didn’t you lose your temper the other day and busted another hole through the wall?
Shuu: Haha...Taking a nap while enjoying the night breeze honestly isn’t that bad though...
Subaru: ...Don’t come here to sleep...
...Fuck...! You guys better don’t make me do all of the shitty tasks!
Reiji: Well then, I suppose that wraps up this discussion. As for what we need to prepare, the obvious things would be...
Ayato: Takoyaki, duh!
Kanato: I want to eat a cake covered in whipped cream with a bunch of large strawberries on top!
Reiji: Those are the things you guys want to eat, no? We should at least try and consider what she likes.
Ayato: Ah? What are you sayin’? We’re already doin’ plenty by celebrating her birthday, no?
Laito: They say it’s the sentiment which counts, right?
Reiji: Guh...I am baffled to hear something sensical come from you lot’s mouths for once.
Kanato: So, what exactly do I need to do to get my strawberry cake?
Subaru: ...Aren’t we kind of missin’ the point now?
Laito: Oh well, wasn’t there this one important guy who said that participating is more important than winning?
...That being said, let’s go shopping for all the foods we want to eat!
Kanato: I don’t mind if you go buy it for me, but it better be delicious.
Subaru: Then go buy it yourself!
Kanato: Me? Going grocery shopping? Why would I bother doing something so troublesoーー
Right...In one of the books I read in the past, it said that a birthday cake is best when homemade.
I can put on as much whipped cream as I like, before decorating it with a bunch of strawberries...Fufu, my own exclusive cake.
Haah...Just imagining it is making my mouth water...I’ve decided. I will make a delicious cake.
Reiji: Not in my book.
Kanato: Why do I need your permission? I decided I will make it, so it’s already settled.
Ayato: Oh, sounds kinda interestin’! In that case, I’m gonna try my hand at some homemade takoyaki as well!
Reiji: You make it sound so easy...Do you truly believe you can pull it off?
Shuu: Haah. This situation is steadily going downhill...
Laito: Nfu~ Homemade, huh? It’s starting to sound more and more like a real birthday party.
Reiji: Laito, why are you pretending as if you take no responsibility in this?
You are the one who brought up the idea in the first place, so you should make sure things are kept in check.
Laito: Eh~~~? But that’s what you’re here for, no?
Ayato: ...So, what else needs to get done?
Kanato: You aren’t thinking of making us do all the work, right?
Reiji: Of course. For one...
I have yet to hear of a birthday party with only takoyaki and a cake.
Ayato: Haah? What’s so bad about that?
Reiji: It is a day on which humans celebrate their very short life, so do you not believe there should be a diverse, luxurious buffet as you would see at evening galas or dinner banquets?
Kanato: I do remember how noisy those evening parties would be. However, I am not interested in anything besides the cake.
Reiji: ...Haah, you are only thinking of your own gain. Truly what one would expect from you lot.
Ayato: I mean, I doubt Chichinashi will enjoy it, unless we’re having fun as well!
Subaru: Che...Ridiculous...
Reiji: Good grief...I suppose I have no other choice. In that case, I shall be in charge of making the main course...
Laito: In that case, I’ll help out Ayato-kun~ Making takoyaki sounds kind of fun, to be honest.
Shuu: Pwaaah~ ...Doesn’t seem like there’s anything I need to do...
Reiji: You shall keep an eye on her to ensure she does not leave her room.
It is a trivial task, perfect for someone like you, no?
Shuu: ...Che...What a chore...
Subaru: Haah, whatever.
Reiji: Subaru, you will be doing your fair share as well.
Subaru: Haah!?
Reiji: Do you truly believe I can trust Kanato by himself in the kitchen? Make sure to keep an eye on him.
Subaru: Why me!?
Reiji: Since you are the only one still left without a task, obviously?
I expect you to put your life on the line to ensure the kitchen does not go up in flames.
Subaru: Annoyin’...
Laito: Okaay~! Well then everyone, off we go! (3)
*TIMESKIP*
Ayato: Oi, Reiji! Step back! I gotta be the one walkin’ in front!
Reiji: Pipe down, Ayato.
Kanato: Good grief...I cannot stand all this noise. Say, you feel so too, don’t you, Teddy...?
Subaru: We’re not lil’ children anymore, so wouldn’t it have been better if just one of us did the shoppin’ by themselves...?
Laito: Oh come on, don’t you think it’s fun to all go grocery shopping together for once~?
Subaru: ...Che. Don’t talk to me as if we’re buds.
Reiji: ...Hm? Everyone, wait one second.
I cannot see Shuu anywhere around?
Subaru: Haah? Who cares? He’s probably snoozin’ again somewhere.
Reiji: Good grief...Here I thought he was actually joining without any protests for once, but there he goes acting off his own accord again...Truly infuriating.
Even though we have to ensure we are back at the manor by the time she wakes upーー
Ayato: Oh! They’ve got a takoyaki grill! Laito! Let’s go check it out!
Laito: Huh~? But don’t we already have one of those?
Ayato: Ah? Like I know where to find that thing. It’d be too much trouble lookin’ for it.
Laito: Good point! Let’s go have a look then!
ー The two of them enter a store
Reiji: Ah, halt! We should stick to the planning and only visit the necessary stoーー
Kanato: I simply cannot spend another minute with this rowdy bunch.
I will go my own way, so come look for me if you need me.
ー Kanato leaves as well
Reiji: Hey! Where are you going, Kanato!? I will not let this selfish behavior slide!
Haah...
Shuu: Pwaah...Like this, I can’t relax no matter where I go...
Reiji: You good-for-nothing...You shamelessly come walking up to me and that’s the first thing you say...?
Shuu: Nn...I’ll be over on that bench over there, so just come wake me up once you’re done shopping...
Reiji: At this point, your laziness has surpassed the point of being disappointing, it almost feels refreshing.
Shuu: Thanks for the compliment...Sleepy...
ー Shuu steps away
Reiji: It honestly is not even worth insulting him...
Subaru: Haah...The fuck is this farce? I want to go back home...
*SCENE SHIFT*
Ayato: Oi, Laito! Do you know what ingredients we need to make takoyaki?
Laito: It’s called takoyaki, so octopus is a given, right?
Ayato: I know that much as well!
But I want to make takoyaki like nobody has ever tasted before!
I’m gonna make so many of them, they’ll pile up all the way to the ceiling!
Laito: Nfu~ Sounds like something you would do. In that case, we need to stock up on plenty of ingredients.
Ayato: Yeah! We’ve got plenty of people with us to carry the bags!
Laito: If we’re going through the trouble of making them, it’d be a little dull to stick to normal takoyaki, right? ...Ah, how about this?
Ayato: Wasabi? Whatcha gonna do with that?
Laito: Fufufu, that’s something to look forward to at the party.
Ayato: ...This and these, also those over there...
Laito: Let’s put them all in our basket! I’m so excited, nfu~
*SCENE SHIFT*
Reiji: Honestly those triplets, always doing as they please...
Subaru, wait right here. I will go call them.
Subaru: Haah!? Why do I have to...Wait, oi!
ー Reiji leaves
Subaru: ...Haah. This grocery run is fucked up.
Shuu: ...
Subaru: This guy is seriously out here snoozin’...
Shuu: ...Shut up. I’m still awake.
Subaru: The fuck!? You’re actually awake...
Shuu: Haah...I just don’t want to move because it’s too much of a chore...
Subaru: Then why did you even join us in the first place...
Shuu: I could ask you the exact same thing...Pwaah...
Subaru: ...Che.
ー Subaru starts walking away
Shuu: ...Oh? Going home?
Subaru: Shut up. Leave me alone.
ー Subaru leaves
Shuu: ...
*SCENE SHIFT*
Subaru: ...
Kanato: Aah, as if on cue. Subaru.
Subaru: Che, goin’ home now after he said that just doesn’t sit right with me...
Kanato: Subaru.
Subaru: That bein’ said, I don’t want to just have to stand there and play supervisor either. I’m goin’ home because I want to.
Kanato: Subaru!
*Rustle*
Subaru: Ow, the fuck you doin’, bastard!?
Kanato: How many times do I have to call you before you come? Are those ears there just for decoration?
Subaru: Ah? I filter out that annoyin’ voice of yours.
So, what do you want?
Kanato: I’ve settled on the ingredients I want for the cake. Please carry the basket and follow me.
Subaru: Haah!? Why do I have to act as your personal carrier!? I was just ‘bout to head home!!
Kanato: What are you saying? The two of us are in charge of preparing the cake together, so it only makes sense for you to help out, no?
Subaru: You’re the one who wants to make that damn thing, aren’t you? Then shouldn’t you be carrying the basket yourself?
Kanato: I’m already holding Teddy. How am I supposed to do that?
Subaru: Aah!? I’m gonna punch you, you bastard!
Kanato: Punch me? You’ll ignore my request and hit me...? Even though you’re the one just standing around there, doing absolutely nothing?
Yet you trample all over my generous attempts to try and help you be useful...Who do you think you are!?
If you fail to understand that, then why don’t you punch yourself on the head instead? Come on, hurry up and do it!
Subaru: Haah...Shut up. Ahー Fine! I just have to carry your stuff, right?
Kanato: Hmph. ...You should have just done so from the very start. Right, Teddy...?
Subaru: Fuck off! I’m comin’ so shut up and show me the way!
Kanato: Fufu, it’s this way.
Subaru: Honestly...I seriously should have never tagged along...Fuck.
*SCENE SHIFT*
Reiji: ...That’s...
Subaru: ...
Reiji: Subaru. Why are you here?
Did I not tell you to wait by that bench over there earlier?
Subaru: Ah, geez! Stop naggin’ at me this whole time! I can go wherever I want!
Reiji: Do you not think you are at fault for not simply saying no earlier? Honestly, it’s always the youngest ones that cause trouble...
Subaru: Oi, you jerk. What didya say just now!?
Reiji: I only stated the truth. So, why are you on the move?
I gave you that task because I figured you would not want to have to walk around.
Take a look! I have brought Ayato and Laito along with me.
Ayato: Ah?
Laito: Nfu~ You’re talking about us as if we’re your luggage~
Subaru: Not my fault! I’m not doin’ this ‘cause I want to! If you want to complain, then complain to Kanato instead!
Kanato: We’re going to buy the ingredients for the cake. You really are the very definition of a creep, trying to track my every move.
Reiji: ...
Ayato: Oi, Four-Eyes. I know what I wanna buy so gimme some cash.
Reiji: You sure have some nerve to ask me for money after you have been doing nothing but acting selfishly this whole time. Do you really think you can get away with that!?
Ayato: Ah? Why are you snappin’ at me? You’re such a cheapskate.
Kanato: Exactly. Why do you not try and keep your calm a little?
Laito: Nfu~ Perhaps you’re running a little low on calcium~? (4)
Reiji: ...
Subaru: ...
Reiji: ...Very well. Just do as you please. However, I do not intend to give you lot a single yen.
ー Reiji leaves
Ayato: Ah! Oi, wait! ...O-Oi, do any of you guys have some cash?
Kanato: Are you dumb? Why would I have money on me?
Subaru: Oi, what are we gonna do...
Laito: This is your fault, Ayato! Go apologize to Reiji!
Ayato: Haah!? Why do I have to say sorry!?
Kanato: That’s easy. Because you’re to blame for everything.
Ayato: Haah!? He was upset with you as well!
Laito: In that case, the two of you should go say sorry.
Kanato: Why are you trying to escape the blame when you’re the one who was together with Ayato in the first place?
Ayato: I’m never apologizin’!
Laito: Get going, you two.
Kanato: I’m not going either!
Subaru: Ahー God! Stop the damn arguin’! All three of you should go apologize!
Ayato: Why do I have to!?
Laito: Ehー?
Kanato: Under no circumstances!
Shuu: You guys are way too loud...You’re practically shouting for the whole store.
Pwaah...That being said...You’re still not done...?
*TIMESKIP*
Subaru: ーー There you have it. So Reiji, just give in already.
At this rate, we’ll never make it back to the manor.
Reiji: Even so, I cannot give in now.
Subaru: ...
Reiji: ーー However, right...I suppose I shall show my gratitude and let it slide this once. Although I have yet to hear an apology.
Ayato: What is this Four-Eyes goin’ on ‘bout?
Reiji: If you continue to call me that, I would not mind just heading home straight away.
Ayato: Che...
Reiji: Hmph...
Subaru, I will be joining the three of them.
Meanwhile you will go look for Shuu so the two of you can purchase the ingredients I need for my own dish.
Subaru: ...Hah? Why not just buy them yourself?
Reiji: Perhaps try using that brain of yours a little and you will realize that it is simply impossible to look for the items on my own list while also keeping an eye on those triplets at the same time.
Above all, I want to ensure that good-for-nothing at least does something as well.
Subaru: I don’t get it. I’m not doin’ anythin’, understood?
Kanato: How can you be so selfish?
Ayato: Exactly! Are you goin’ to ruin this whole thing ‘cause you’re being a selfish prick?
Laito: Reiji’s mood finally improved, but now Subaru-kun’s going to ruin it again?
Subaru: Fuck...What is your problem!?
Laito: It’s easy, no? If Reiji doesn’t give us any money.
We can’t buy the stuff we need for Bitch-chan’s birthday party, right? Ah-ah, I’m sure she would have been so happy as well.
Subaru: ...
Che...I just have to go buy that shit, right!?
*Flip*
Reiji: Very well. I have written down everything with the exact quantities I need on this note.
Subaru: ...You nitpicker.
Reiji: It would be bad to overbuy, no? Please call it effective instead.
I will pay for all ingredients together, so please wait in front of the cashier once you’re done.
*Rustle*
Subaru: ...Hmph.
ー Subaru walks off with the memo
*SCENE SHIFT*
Subaru: Shuu!! Wake up!
Shuu: How could I sleep under these circumstances...? You guys are really noisy...
Subaru: I have to go through this shit ‘cause you were loafin’ ‘round! Now get up and make yourself useful!
Shuu: ...Haah...Guess I have no other choice. I heard most of the conversation earlier, so I’ll make an effort to move today...
Nn...So, what do we have to buy...?
Subaru: This.
*Rustle*
Shuu: Haah, that’s quite the list...Subaru, you carry the basket.
Subaru: Haah!? You can go get it yourself, no!? Why is it always me!?
*TIMESKIP*
*Rustle rustle*
Yui: ...Nn...
( I wonder when I last got such a good night’s rest? )
( Usually, someone always barged in to suck my blood the second I try to go to bedーー )
*BOOM*
Yui: W-What was that!?
( That sound just now...I didn’t just imagine it, right? )
*BOOM*
Yui: A-Again!? Also, I can smell something burnt as well...
( I-Is everyone okay...? I should go check up on the situation... )
ー Yui tries to leave her room
Shuu: ...
Yui: ...S-Shuu-san! What is happening!?
( Why is Shuu-san lying on the floor in the middle of the hallway...!? )
*BOOM*
Yui: Another explosion...!?
Shuu-san, wake up please! ...Shuu-san!
( Oh no...He’s not waking up at all. There might actually be something wrong with him... )
Um, Shuu-san...! P-Please wait right here! I’ll go call someone else!
*Rustle*
Shuu: ...Shut up. ...Oh, it’s you.
Yui: Shuu-san...!
( T-Thank god. He was just asleep... )
Shuu: ...My muscles are sore...
Yui: Geez, it’s because you slept on the ground. More importantly, why are you here?
Shuu: Ahー... I have no other choice, do I? ...I have to keep an eye on you...
Yui: ...?
Shuu: ...No, it’s nothing.
*BOOM*
Yui: ( ...!! )
U-Um...Do you have any idea what these loud blasts are about...?
Shuu: Hm? Aah...You’re just hearing things. Now hurry back to your roomーー
*BOOM*
Shuu: ...
Yui: That sound again...!!
Shuu: ...Guess we’re not using the kitchen for a while after this...
Yui: Um, what did you say just now...?
Shuu: Nothing...Well, you can just continue sleeping, don’t let it bother you.
Yui: E-Easier said than done...
Shuu: Whatever, just go to bed....If not, that fussy guy will...
ー Reiji joins them
Shuu: ...Too late.
Yui: Ah, Reiji-san...!
Reiji: I came to check up on you because I could imagine you would be sleeping on the job again...
Yui: ( The job? What is he talking about? )
Reiji: You...You’ve woken up, I see?
Yui: Um, is something the matter? I’ve been hearing these explosions this whole time.
Reiji: No, it is nothing serious. You should return to your own room.
Yui: But, I’m worried about the others...
Reiji: Your concern is meaningless to us Vampires. Now get back to your room.
*BOOM*
Yui: A-Again!? Um, Reiji-san...?
Reiji: ...Haah, for god’s sake...
*SCENE SHIFT*
*BOOM*
Ayato: Uwaaah!? What the fuck’s happenin’!? Do somethin’ ‘bout this!!
*CRASH*
Laito: The fire, Ayato-kun! Hurry up and extinguish the flames!!
Ayato: You do that!!
Laito: Okay, here I go!!
*SPLASH*
Ayato: Oi, that’s damn cold...!!
Kanato: What are you doing!? It nearly got on Teddy!!
Ayato: Complain to Laito, not to me!!
Laito: Ahaha! My bad, my bad~! My hand slipped a little~
*Thud*
Ayato: Ah! Hot, hot, hot! Oi, this thing’s hella hot if you touch it!
Subaru: Oi, you fool!! Of course it’s gonna be hot...Che!
*SHATTER*
Kanato: Why do you keep on getting in my way, Ayato!?
Ayato: I’m not doin’ it on purpose either!
Kanato: Then get out of my sight! You’re in the way!
Laito: Uwah~ This situation keeps on getting worse and worse. I feel like it’s beyond saving at this point?
Subaru: Don’t be standin’ there makin’ a calm observation of the situation and do somethin’ ‘bout it instead!
Laito: Ah~ No chance! Once things stop exploding, we’ll just have to start over from scratch, okay?
Kanato: Don’t be ridiculous! Do you have any idea how much time and effort I put into getting this far!?
Ayato: Crap! I think it’s gonna boom again!
Subaru: Oi, idiot! Don’t come my way with that thing!!
*BOOM*
*CRASH*
Subaru: Fuckーー!! Which one of you bastards thought this was a good idea!?
*SCENE SHIFT*
*BOOM*
*CRASH*
Yui: ( I could faintly hear Ayato-kun and the others in the background. I’m sure they’re the ones behind these loud noises... )
( I have no idea what they’re doing, but I can tell that the manor is on the brink of destruction... )
Reiji: ...
Yui: ( Reiji-san’s temples are twitching...I’m pretty sure he’s infuriated...? )
U-Um...If there’s any way I can help out...
Reiji: ...No, that will not be needed. I will take care of it...
Yui: I see...
*BOOM*
*SHATTER*
Yui: ( Honestly, what is going on? I can still hear everyone shouting too... )
Reiji: Shuu, how long do you intend to sleep amidst this ruckus?
Shuu: ...Shut up, I’m awake. I’m doing the task given to me, no?
Yui: ...Task?
Reiji: Aah...It is nothing that should concern you.
I will come and call you later, so do not set foot outside of your room until then.
Yui: Eh? U-Um...
Reiji: Understood?
Yui: ( S-Scary...I probably shouldn’t ask any more questions, right? )
...Yes...
Reiji: Very well. Well then, good-for-nothing. You will be switching duties and head towards the kitchen with me.
Shuu: Haah...What a drag...
ー The two of them leave
Yui: ( ...What on earth is happening in this house? )
( However, I have no other choice but to return to my room after what Reiji-san told me, right? )
ー Yui goes back inside her room
Yui: ( I went back inside as I was told to, but... )
*CRASH*
Reiji: Ayato! Cut it out! What are you even trying to do!?
Ayato: I just...!!
*BOOM*
Ayato: Uwaaah! This damn thing exploded again!!
*THUD*
Yui: ( Don’t let it bother you, just ignore it... )
Subaru: Uwaah! The fuck you doin’, Kanato!? Don’t point that dangerous thing towards me!
Kanato: ...Fufufu, I talked it over with Teddy, and we’ve decided to take down Ayato with this!
Laito: Then point it towards Ayato-kun instea...Uwaah!!
*BOOM*
*SHATTER*
Reiji: Ah, you lot...Stop this at once!!
Yui: ( Peace of mind...Positive thinking... )
Kanato: Ayato! Keep still and let yourself get hit!
Ayato: In your dreams!
Laito: Ooh~ Nice catch, Ayato-kun! Now dump it inside the water...
Ayato: Kanato, you should go ahead and blow up!
*BOOM*
Yui: ( ...Haah, I feel as if it just keeps on getting worse... )
( Speaking of which, I can’t hear Shuu-san at all. He can’t possibly be asleep amidst all of that...Right? )
( Even a Vampire would get hurt, no...? )
( Above all, it’s kind of rare for all of them to gather and do something together. )
( Hm...I honestly can’t imagine what they could be doing. )
ーー TO BE CONTINUED ーー
Translation notes
(1) At Japanese high schools, they usually have a health committee with a representative in each class. This student is in charge of helping out during the physical examinations, will escort students when they are feeling ill or have injured themselves to the infirmary, etc.
(2) In Japan, it is quite common to say ‘I have received it’ when somebody hands you something. (People at stores might say it when you pay and give them the money as well.) However, the translation ‘Thank you’ just sounded more fluent and natural in English.
(3) 持ち場に着く or ‘mochiba ni tsuku’ usually gets translated as ‘to get to your station’ or ‘to get in position’. However, since some of them are actually moving places/leaving the house, I altered the translation a little.
(4) I had never heard of this before, but I googled the terms ‘calcium deficiency’ and ‘irritation’ in Japanese and did find multiple articles talking about a possible link between a bad mood and lacking calcium.

.
As the saying goes, ‘everything that can go wrong, will go wrong’ Bucky found it applicable to his current situation now more than ever.
He had been planning the perfect evening while you were away on a small mission with Sam and were expected to be home in less than an hour. He’d ordered your favourite pizza, kept that special bottle of wine you’d been saving on the table with two glasses, even texted every single person in the team to not disturb once you were home.
Bucky wanted you all to himself tonight. That and the fact that he was planning to propose.
You arrived fifteen minutes later looking tattered and exhausted. Bucky frowned, wiping his hands on a kitchen towel as he heard the front door slam shut, concerned when he didn’t hear your usually chirpy voice, he walked out to greet you.
“Welcome home sweetheart, how was th—”
He stopped mid-sentence after getting a good look at your state, hair in disarray, minor cuts decorating your forehead and chin. It wasn’t the first but today was supposed to be an easy one.
“Oh you look terrible.”
“Thanks I feel terrible.”
Bucky chuckled, pulling you into a hug before pressing a kiss on your temple, immediately feeling your body sink into his.
“What went wrong? I thought the mission was fairly—”
“Yeah except it wasn’t. I’m going to take a bath okay.”
“Do you wanna talk about it?”
“No.”
Sighing, you gently pushed him away to get to the bathroom, peeling off the unitard as you went,  exhaustion making you forget he was waiting for a kiss, but he understood.
“Alright, don’t be too long though. I made you dinner, and I can guarantee it’s edible this time.”
“I’m sorry babe but I’m not really hungry. All I want is sleep.”
You mumbled, your voice laden with sleep as you reached for the door, missing Bucky’s dejected face that he quickly recovered from, not wanting you to worry.
“How about I get you a glass of wine and patch you up?” He offered.
“Yep.”
.
You practically crawled into bed after you bathed, falling asleep instantly. Bucky climbed in shortly after, racking his brain for yet another attempt of proposing as he draped his arm across your waist, gazing at your sleeping form for a while before kissing your forehead.
A lingering aroma of fresh bacon and eggs woke you up the next day. Peeking through a half open eye, you saw Bucky holding a tray of food in his hands and your favourite flower between his teeth.
“God bless you Bucky Barnes!” You exclaimed, sitting up against the headboard with the biggest smile on your face, making grabby hands at the food as your stomach growled.
He placed the tray in your lap and tucked the flower behind your ear, whispering ‘good morning’ before leaning in for a kiss which you happily returned.
Bucky had already cleared your schedule for the day, made sure that no one bothered you today, he was determined to not let you out of the house before getting that ring on your finger.
You took turns eating yourself and feeding your super caring boyfriend who had gone through all this trouble for you, not really saying much but rather enjoying the silence you shared.
“Hey I got us a table at that Italian restaurant that you love for dinner.” Bucky announced matter-of-factly, hiding his nervous self under the facade of a casual dinner date.
“I’ll have to check with Agent Hill if there’s some updates after last night’s blow-up but I’m sure th—”
“Oh that won’t be necessary.”
“It won’t?” You eyed the man who kept his gaze on the piece of fruit he was toying with in the plate.
“Y-yeah I cleared your schedule for the day.”
“Really?”
“Yes. I want you all to myself.” Bucky’s soft smile warmed your heart as did his honesty, making you lean forward and place a chaste kiss to his lips.
“So it’s a date Barnes.”
“It’s a date.”
.
Bucky went over his plan once more after deciding to drop the idea of proposing in a public place, he figured he would take you out for a nice meal first, get home, maybe open a nice bottle of wine with some cake and do it then.
He still had some issues when people disturbed your peace while out at a public place or a social gathering. People would stare, ask for pictures with his vibranium arm or just generally give him the look making him utterly uncomfortable. He decided he couldn’t afford that tonight, everything had to be perfect. He even decided to take the efforts of making you a chocolate cake from scratch.
Evening rolled by and the kitchen counter was a mess of broken eggshells, a thousand mixing bowls and spoons, the floor covered in sugar and cocoa powder while Bucky wiped the sweat off his forehead and finally got the batter in the oven.
Looking around, he knew it would eventually have to be professionally cleaned or it would be sleeping on the couch for a week. Somehow he had to evade you from entering the kitchen until he popped the question.
The super soldier double checked the ring box in his back pocket and set the timer, getting to make the ganache for the cake.
“Bucky! Get in here right now!” You yelled from the bathroom, voice sounding downright pissed off.
“Ah fuck what now.”
Muttering under his breath, he ran, only to find your fully clothed self drenched as the water sprayed everywhere from the broken shower.
“Oh God, are you alright?”
“Besides being fucking soaked and ruining my new dress & make-up? Oh just fabulous!” You rolled your eyes, crossing your arms over your chest and stepping away to let him in the mini pool.
You stood next to him shivering while he tried his best to fix it, his vibranium arm doing the trick as he closed the tap, now completely soaked the same as you.
A tiny box fallen on the wet floor caught your attention and you bent to pick it up, gasping when you opened it to find the most beautiful diamond ring sitting inside the cushioned box.
It felt more and more real the longer you stared at it, unable to form words, glancing at the man you loved and who, by some miracle loved you back & enough to take this next big step.
“Bucky…”
“Hmm?” He wasn’t paying attention.
“What uh..when did you—please look at me.” You croaked, holding the tiny box up in your palm.
Bucky’s eyes turned wide before his hand automatically went for the back pocket of his jeans from where the ring must’ve fallen.
“Fucking hell.”
“What? I hope this isn’t for someone else.” You chuckled at your terrible attempts of a joke, tears already gathering in your eyes while Bucky scratched the back of his neck nervously.
“Okay I’m gonna do this now. Wait fuck, let me get you a towel first, you’re shivering.”
He hurried to wrap you in a fluffy towel, walked you out and sat you on the bed before knelt down on both knees and cleared his throat.
“Here we go. None of the amazing things that have happened in my life in the past few years would’ve happened, if it weren’t for you. You have been one of the most integral parts of my journey towards healing and by no means is it over, but I know I can’t go ahead without you. You’ve loved me through my worst and by some miracle continue to do so even today.” He chuckled, tears gathering in his eyes while you were down right sobbing at this point.
“I mean it wasn’t supposed to happen like this, I had a whole thing planned and now the kitchen’s a big mess and we have a pool in the bathroom. But again when has anything worked perfectly for us right?”
You giggled through tears, nodding as your mind automatically played all those memories, first date, first kiss, the first ‘i love you’s, everything. It wasn’t the smoothest ride with Bucky but it was the best and you wouldn’t have it any other ways.
“So Miss (Y/N) (Y/L/N), would you be interested in spending the rest of your life with a semi-stable hundred year old man?”
Wiping your tears, you knelt in front of the man yourself as fresh tears appeared, cupped Bucky’s face in your hands and kissed him with all the love you had in you.
“What do you say?” He mumbled, never breaking the kiss as he stood up with you and walked you over to the bed.
“What do you want me to say? I already found the ring.” You giggled, flopping on the bed and peeling your clothes off, dinner reservations  long forgotten.
“Just say yes.”
“Yes.” Saying it out loud made you believe it actually happened, as Bucky climbed between your parted legs.
“Say it again.”
“Yes!”
.
Two hours later when you were finally ready to leave the bedroom, you found yourself in the kitchen in Bucky’s arms, swaying to some 40s ballads that he put on, the floor was a complete mess but neither of you cared. The cake he’d prepared was mostly burnt - thankfully he ran to turn the oven off right before giving you your second orgasm of the night.
But you wouldn’t trade this moment, this day or this man for anything.

"Why should you get to be angry? It's my life you're messing with" Yakko?
Yakko was still angry, even though it had been over a week since Max had visited.
His siblings' hostility towards Max was really getting on his nerves. Sure, Max caught on pretty early and no one was hurt, but still. It threw everything off- though what that 'everything' was, Yakko wasn't sure.
All he knew was that there was this... pulse, or energy. Like a magnet- Yakko had wanted to touch his face. Why? Max had almost not stopped him- what did that mean?
The fluttering, the blushing, the magnetism, what did it mean???
And why was it every time Yakko felt like maybe he'd figure it out, something or someone always interrupted. Even when Max wasn't there- Yakko would just be trying to sort things out in his head or reading a book, but either his sibs, or his classes, or his parents, or something else distracted him.
That didn't stop him from trying though, as he and Max still continued to write to each other daily, already setting up for Max to visit again tomorrow. He constantly read and reread Max's letters- absorbing every word to craft a perfectly witty yet sincere response. He valued Max and his friendship, he didn't want to ruin it.
And hey, he could tell he was improving. Over the letters he managed to never bring up his grandmother even once- and most of his conversations with Max avoided her too (for the most part... he was working on that). At least he knew other topics now.
However, he was still peeved at his siblings for their attempts to ruin it. Sure Max was clever enough to catch it- but if he hadn't? What if Max had never wanted to see him again after that? What if he had gotten hurt? It was totally irresponsible. He thought Wakko and Dot were better than that.
So- yeah. He was mad, though perhaps angry was too strong. He had mostly buried his anger deep within himself when his father pulled him aside and told him not to get mad at his sibs and that they just needed time, but the anger still resided deep in his chest. Reading the letters did calm him a little though, so that was nice.
However, the day before Max was to come over again, as Yakko went to reread through the letters he found the box that he stored them in to be empty. He searched through every possible drawer and every possible location in the entire castle before admitting what his gut instinct had told him.
His letters were stolen.
And he had a theory on who the culprit could be.
.o0o.
Yakko found his younger brother in his old room, the one nearby the room once belonging to their grandmother, with the private letters all sprawled out before him as he read over them.
All attempts to keep this a civil conversation were thrown out the window in that instant.
"Wakko, what the hell are you doing with my letters?!" Yakko did at least attempt not to shout, but he caught his brother off guard, as he nearly jumped to the ceiling in surprise.
"Y-yakko- I-i thought- I'm just-" Wakko scrambled to gather his mind.
"These letters are none of your business! Why on earth do you have them?!" Yakko approached, angrily taking the letters back.
"I-i thought you read them all- I thought you didn't need them- I-i just-" Wakko fought Yakko, pulling on the letters.
"These are private letters full of private emotions, Wakko. You have no business- I haven't even read this one! What is wrong with you?!" Yakko yanked harder, causing Wakko to let go.
"I-i just- Max is just-"
"Max is just what? Being my friend? Being the first person outside of my family that's ever connected with me?! God forbid I have a life outside of you two!" The elder brother fumed.
"H-he's just trying to take you away! You can't see it because you're like- in love with him- or something!" Wakko bit back.
Yakko froze.
"What did you say..?" Yakko's eye twitched.
"Y...you're like- in love with him. He's just trying to take you away- he's just like grandma!" Wakko argued.
"Max is nothing like grandma." Yakko snapped. "Max has made me the happiest I've ever been in my entire miserable fucking life! You should know that after snooping around my private fucking letters!" Yakko shouted, his voice cracking slightly as he felt himself begin to tear up.
"I just- god-! How could you be so selfish? Why can't you just be happy for me?!" Yakko demanded to know.
Wakko opened his mouth to utter some kind of reply, when without warning, their mother burst through the door.
"What on earth is all this shouting about?" She demanded to know. Wakko attempted to blink away his tears, which unfortunately caused them to fall so instead he picked up what letters he could before storming out without another word.
"Yakko. Tell me what happened. Now." She locked eyes with Yakko, deciding it best to give the younger brother a moment to himself.
Yakko sighed, wiping his tears from his eyes as he sat on Wakko's old bed. Lena was quick to join him, slowly rubbing his back.
"He took my letters. he's been reading them- all of them." Yakko explained bitterly. Lena slowly nodded.
"I just- those are private thoughts between the two of us- it's not just my privacy, it's Max's too. I-it's like Wakko has no respect for either of u-us," Yakko hiccuped a little.
"Now Yakko, you know that isn't true. Wakko thinks the world of you," Lena reminded softly. "He's just... confused. And scared."
"Oh yeah? He can join the club then," Yakko sniffled.
"Look... I know you're going through a lot with Max right now: new emotions, new situations, and the like, but... you've been plenty selfish too, especially in neglecting your siblings, Yakko. They've tried getting your attention several times but they feel as though you won't give them the time of day," Lena held one of his hands.
"I-i haven't-..." Yakko's instinct was to protest but as he reflected upon the past few months, he recognized the truth behind her words.
"Shit..." He muttered.
"Now, I'm not going to make you cancel Max's visit for tomorrow, but do know that after he's gone I want you to spend some good quality time with your siblings, alright? I'm sure Max will understand your situation plenty," Lena said softly yet firmly.
"Y-yeah... I guess I've been pretty wrapped up, haven't I?" He chuckled weakly.
"It's alright dear, so long as you do your best to recognize the mistake and make up for it through your actions," She kissed the top of his head. Yakko sighed and leaned his head on her shoulder.
The pair stayed like this a moment, before Lena decided she had waited long enough and it was time for her to seek out Wakko. However, as she started to head through the door, Yakko stopped her.
"Mom?" He asked.
"Yes?"
"Do you-... Am I...?"
Yakko bit his lip as he tried to think of what to ask.
"How do you know if you're in love?"
Lena chuckled softly.
"Hard to say, as it truly is different for everyone... But from what I remember... it's a sense of comfort and peace; being at peace with who you are and who they are to the point where you constantly want to be with them for that peace... if that makes any sense." Lena shook her head.
"Then again, when has love ever made any sense?" She snickered.
"Uh-huh..." Yakko pondered her words.
"I'm sorry dear, I'm afraid that's something you'll have to figure out on your own," She explained. "I'm afraid I have to go to your brother now though, alright?"
"Yeah, yeah- that's... yeah," Yakko nodded and Lena headed out, leaving Yakko to sort out this new information.
.o0o.
Wakko hated shouting.
It made him feel small- like he was four all over again. God- why did he always just make things worse? He never backed down, even when he said something stupid.
He hid in one of the storage closets near the tower. It was dark and cramped, but it was where he felt he ought to be. After all, he didn't want to be seen.
He gripped the letters in his hands tighter. He didn't know why he took them that time- it was dumb. He was already caught- Yakko already knew he was a thief.
But it was to protect him against Max-
Max.
Just that name made Wakko's blood boil and angry tears increase.
He hated Max.
He hated him a lot. Yakko wouldn't see it- he was under his siren spell somehow. Wakko thought taking those letters would show him some kind of clue to unraveling it, but instead, it just showed how messed up and lost Yakko was. It hurt to read each word and Yakko's notes on the letters- the little question marks and underlines and occasional heart. Wakko hated it.
Wakko hated Max.
He hated him very, very much.
He was taking his brother away- his brother would never ignore him unless there was something very sinister forcing him too- which Max clearly was.
R...right?
Wakko continued crying.
However, after a while of crying in the dark a soft knock interrupted his tears as the door slowly opened to reveal his mother, who slowly sat on the ground outside the closet and opened her arms. Wakko hesitated a moment, before practically leaping out into her loving arms.
"There, there Wakko..." She soothed as he sobbed in her arms.
"I-i w-was just- i-i just-" he couldn't get his words out.
"I know darling, he shouldn't have shouted so much," she stroked his head.
"I-i just..." Wakko attempted to breathe enough to calm himself.
"I know... you don't trust Max yet, and it's scary seeing Yakko connect so quickly, I know," She moved him so she could see his face, wiping the tears from his eyes.
Wakko sniffled. "H-he's just trying to take him away."
"That's not true, Wakko. Max is just spending time with him- Yakko is just getting... a little caught up is all," Lena sighed.
"B-but he never ignored me like this before he met him," Wakko frowned.
"I know Wakko... he hasn't done his best with balancing everything out..." She said. "But... you haven't made it exactly easier either."
Wakko blinked at that.
"What I mean is... you haven't given Max a shot yet. You rejected him without giving him a shot to prove himself to you," Lena said.
Given him a shot..? Was she insane? She would never suggest he "give grandma a shot" so why was she suggesting to give Max a shot? Because he "seemed" friendlier and more charismatic???
"Wakko, look. Whether or not you like it, Yakko really really likes Max. The least you can do is give him a day to prove himself, alright?" Lena made him look at her.
She looked so desperate for him to believe her, it made him sad. She was clearly under Max's spell too.
It became clear to Wakko he had been underestimating Max. If he wanted him gone for good and to free his family from his influence, he was going to have to take drastic measures.
"Maybe..." he mumbled for her sake. Lena smiled softly and kissed the top of his hat.
"Yakko will really appreciate it," She said.
"Yeah, okay," Wakko looked at the ground.
Yakko will appreciate it when he's free of Max's stupid curse- all of them will be.
"I have to go back to work- will you be okay?" Lena asked. Wakko nodded. Lena slowly stood, helping Wakko up as well, before giving him another hug and a kiss on his hat.
"It's gonna be okay Wakko, just give him a chance," She said.
"Okay," he said, giving a weak smile. Lena gave a similarly weak smile back before hugging him once more and walking away.
'Give him a chance.' Oh please- Wakko would give him a chance alright.
Wakko stormed right back into that storage closet, climbed up to the tallest shelf, and pulled down the highest key, before storming right on down to the tower- quickly and furiously unlocking the massive lock just to be sure, and-
Yes, they hadn't bricked it off quite yet.
Wakko now had the perfect to keep Max far away from his family for the rest of his life.

"isn't he just so cute?" you giggled, staring at your crush from across the room. the air smelt of burning wood, sunlight seeping through the window panes. professor snape was carefully eyeing each of the students as they prepped their potions, yet your eyes stayed glued to the well known trouble maker who sat in the front of the class.
"y/n, are you ever going to help me with this potion? i know you're good with them and i could really use your help!" ron whined from beside you, poking at your shoulder repeatedly. "bloody hell, were you slipped a love potion? it's just malfoy."
you turned to ron, smacking his arm, and he let out a small "ow". you sighed, helping ron gather materials to make the current potion. "stop acting like my crush on draco is new."
"but y/n, listen to me, nothing good can come out with malfoy, and i'm pretty sure you're just fascinated by the idea you have of him in your head," ron explains, tossing the items into the cauldron, "i mean, have you even talked to him?"
you freeze for a moment, clearing your throat. "y-yes i have, um.. i bumped into him in the hallway and i said sorry."
ron soon realizes what you mean, pity patting you on the head like a child. sighing, he says, "he didn't say anything to you, did he?"
you shake your head, taking a whiff of the potion you and ron created in front of you. you've had a crush on draco since the beginning of this year, which was currently your fourth year at hogwarts. of course, malfoy didn't pay any attention to you.
"god," you cringe, scrunching up your face after smelling the absolutely disgusting potion, "that smells terrible. guess we've made it properly then."
"ugh, you're right," ron replies, backing away from the previously brewing cauldron. you look around, seeing that students are still attempting to complete their potions, so you had a bit of time to waste.
you hear draco's laugh from across the room, pansy parkinson by his side. your mere infatuation with malfoy wasn't enough to make you jealous (because personally, you thought it was an ugly emotion), but it did strike something in you when you watched draco and pansy giggle like idiots together.
people always thought you were crazy to like draco; he was mean, rude, and a pain in the ass, but you continued to see the good in him (or the good that you thought he had). being a hufflepuff who was infatuated with draco didn't grant you anything when it came to popularity, but you couldn't care less. you just thought draco was truly a nice guy on the inside.
"hello? earth to y/n? class is over!" ron waved a hand in your face, making you snap back into reality. you blinked a few times, before looking around to see students exiting the class to go for lunch, and you watched draco leave with pansy.
"come on then, i'm starving!" ron hurried you, pushing you out the door to go to the dining hall, literally grabbing you by the robe because you could not stop staring a malfoy.
tonight was the night of the room of requirement party, all houses invited (hosted by gryffindor, and slytherin was somehow invited as well), and you wanted to use this to your advantage. you wanted to tell draco how you felt, because you were tired of admiring him from afar, tired of awkwardly blushing when you spotted him, and tired of hiding your feelings.
but, unbeknownst to you, draco did know that you had a crush on him. only problem is, he has been trying to get with pansy. he thought you were too quiet and that you weren't really his type, so he avoided you. he always noticed your stares and the way your cheeks heated up when you two met eyes.
when people told him that you liked him, he would brush it off with a scoff and talk about how untrue the rumors were, because he didn't want you to cry to him about how he didn't like you. so, tonight at the party, his plan was to avoid you completely.
you twirled in the mirror, taking a look at your fourth outfit change. it was a plain black skirt, paired with a tight yellow turtleneck with a black oversized sweater on top of it, only showing the collar of the turtleneck. you sported black converse high tops, and you honestly felt proud of yourself for actually choosing an outfit on time.
exiting the dormitory, you were greeted at the front of your common room by harry, ron, and hermione, who were talking amongst each other, before looking over at you.
"so i'm guessing today is the day then, right y/n?" hermione asks you, raising a brow. you tried to awkwardly laugh it off, but you were already nervous. harry noticed your difference in mood, and patted you on the back.
"don't worry y/n," harry comforts you, "it's just malfoy. still don't get why you like him, because he truly is an arse, but i'm sure he'll think your beautiful."
you bury your face in your palms, stressing yourself out by picturing the worst case scenarios. "oh god, i really hope it works out."
"calm down, i'll sucker punch malfoy if he says anything stupid, alright?" ron comments, and you hear a snicker from hermione, which makes ron look at her and say, "is something funny?"
the four of you start heading down to the room of requirement, carefully trying to avoid any prefects who were not on board to the party, and avoiding any professors. all of you entered to see students engaging with one another, laughter erupting throughout the room and bouncing off the walls.
it smelt like vanilla and you didn't mind, you waved at some friends from hufflepuff and greeted others, but only looking for one person in particular; draco malfoy. you peaked around corners and asked around, until you saw the familiar slytherin talking up pansy by the back wall.
he saw you coming, but averted your gaze in order to stay focused on pansy. she was talking about her classes and malfoy was listening intently as you made your way towards him, but he chose to ignore you. you waited patiently, hands clad together with sweaty palms. your heart was pounding out of your chest, but you attempted to control your body language.
for the rest of the party, you pretty much followed malfoy like a lost puppy. you just wanted to tell him, but you felt like he was always too busy to talk to. he was always around pansy, and you really didn't know what to do.
"y/n, are you alright?" you hear hermione from beside you, whispering in your ear.
"yeah, i just haven't really gotten the chance to tell draco yet.."
hermione nods, before giving you a pat and leaving to talk to harry and ron.
"hey pansy," draco says, clearing his throat. pansy turns to him, tilting her head. "yes, draco?"
"could we talk outside? just for a moment," draco asks her, and she complies, following draco outside the room of requirement. when they're outside of the party, he scratches the back of his head awkwardly, his face scrunched up.
"well?" pansy asks, waiting for a word out of draco.
"well.. i just wanted to ask you if we could go out for butterbeer sometime, but not as friends, you understand what i'm saying?" draco asks, and pansy looks speechless. she searches for a reason to reject malfoy, not wanting to carry the weight of guilt among her shoulders. she remembers you, following malfoy around, and she uses that to her advantage.
"sorry malfoy, but i think somebody might've already called dibs on you," pansy states, looking at draco, searching for any negative emotion toward her on his face. malfoy frowns, staring at the door of the room of requirement.
"i'll talk to you later," pansy smiles, entering the party once again. draco wasn't mad at pansy, no, he was mad at you. too blinded by the terrible feeling of rejection, he blamed everything on you. he thought about how if you had just left him alone, pansy would've gone out with him (which was not true). draco goes back to the party a few minutes after pansy had left, and you rush over to him, tugging on his black and green robe.
"um, draco i need to-" draco cuts you off, ripping his robe away from your grip. "no, y/n!"
you flinch, startled by the volume and tone of his voice. his face has anger written all over it, and you became frightened. the golden trio hear malfoy's yelling, turning to where the sound was coming from.
"i-i just wanted to say that i like-" malfoy groans, rubbing his face in frustration. "i know you like  me, y/n! for god's sake, everyone knew! you weren't very subtle, y/l/n. stop trying so hard, halfblood. because of you, i got rejected. i don't like you, and i don't consider you a friend. i don't even consider you as an acquaintance. just stay away from me."
your face turns red, growing warmer by the second. at this point, you're staring at your shoes, too scared to look up at draco. tears are welling up in your eyes, threatening to fall as malfoy continues to talk. your throat starts hurting because you refused to cry out, and your hands were trembling.
"draco malfoy!" harry roars, rushing to come to your aid. ron puts both hands on each one of your shoulders, trying to get a glimpse of your face. he sees your glossy eyes, and pulls you into a hug.
"oh now you've done it, malfoy," ron hisses, turning his head to look at draco. draco scoffs, crossing his arms. "what are you gonna do, weasley?" draco shoots back.
"he won't do anything," hermione starts, eyes full of hatred, "but i will." hermione punches draco in the face, making draco yelp in pain. he holds his nose while crabbe and goyle run over to him.
"i-i'm sorry," you sniffle, "it's my fault."
"no no, shh, it's not your fault y/n," ron coos, stroking your hair in an attempt to calm you down. draco eyes you, hearing the shaking in your voice, and feeling a slight pang of guilt. i mean, did he have to yell at you that much? hermione backs up to check up on you, and harry is still glaring at him.
"lets go y/n," hermione smiles at you, and you nod at her and say softly, "okay."
all of you leave the party, eyes glued to your form. when you finally got out of the room, you took a deep breath and felt a slight sense of relief to finally get away from draco. you thought that  this would've gone better, you expected rejection but not in a situation like that. on the way back to the hufflepuff dormitory, all four of you stayed silent.
you felt too tired to talk, and i think the other three understood that. when you reached the common room, you thanked your friends, saying that you were alright (which was not true, but they knew you didn't want to talk about it). you waved them goodbye, heading up to bed, and feeling nervous about the following day.
the next day, you got ready like normal, but you were awfully quiet, and draco took note of that. he no longer heard your laughter from across the room, and you stayed focused on your studies. you didn't want to look at him, afraid that he would yell at you again, so you stayed away, just like he asked.
your friends would ask you if last night had affected your new behavior, but you just assured them that it wasn't the case, which was a lie. you were just too scared to say something wrong, or to annoy draco again.
draco watched you as you wrote in your notebook, an unreadable expression on your face. he was restless, the night before, thinking if he had said too much. he thought it was a bit harsh to yell at you in front of everybody, but he still had that fresh feeling of rejection in his mind.
draco watched as your eyes wandered, looking around the classroom and other students, before accidentally catching his eyes. your eyes widened, almost like you were in fear, and then you raised your hand, asking to go to the washroom. you leave the room, gripping at your robe.
draco decides to follow you, he's not sure why,  but he just does. he follows you down the hall, and he sees you sit down on a bench, breathing heavily. draco approaches you, standing right in front of you. your entire body freezes, staring down at his shoes.
"i'm sorry that you were rejected because of me," you say softly, fidgeting with your fingers. draco honestly doesn't know what to do, he doesn't know if he should say that it wasn't your fault, or if he was sorry for yelling at you. he does none of the above, and just decides to stay silent.
"um," you say, looking up at him, and draco swore he thought you were on the brink of tears, "i'll make sure to stay out of your way. i hope parkinson accepts your feelings."
you stand up, rushing to leave, the last person you wanted to talk to was draco. you didn't want to face him, honestly you were considering leaving to go to muggle school, but the thought of leaving your friends here had stopped you.
for the next week, things had stayed the same. you stayed quiet, flinching at any loud noise, and trying your best to ignore malfoy's attempts to reach out to you. he felt incredibly guilty, and his feelings got worse as the days passed. he didn't really understand how much he did pay attention to you before everything that happened.
he kind of did miss catching you staring at him, and how you would shyly look away. maybe it's because he missed the attention you had given him all the time, even if you two didn't speak.
"y/n," you feel a hand grab your arm, you didn't see who it was, but you knew that voice.
"draco please, i already said i'm sorry," you say quietly, not wanting to anger him. your friends were right, maybe draco was a bad person. you wished you hadn't tried to confess to him in the first place.
"no listen- it's not that, okay?" he says, dragging you to the side of the hallway, getting away from the other students who were walking to their classes. "i, i wanted to say i'm sorry."
when draco admits it, your eyes widen, draco malfoy apologizing to someone was very new, and you didn't know what to say. part of you thought it was a joke, that he was going to do something horrible because you ruined his chance, but blue eyes seemed genuine.
"i shouldn't have yelled at you that day, um.. it wasn't your fault, uh, i realize now that pansy was just using you as an excuse, and i'm sorry that it took me so long to realize it. i hope we can start over.. maybe as friends."
you felt like your ears were deceiving you, and you weren't very eager on becoming friends with draco, after what happened. but, you being you, you slowly nodded, unsure of your own answer. "okay, i guess. but i'm not going to lie to your face and say i suddenly lost feelings for you, i just need some time to.. adjust."
something hurts in draco's heart when he hears the amount of uncertainty that laced your warm voice, but he still nodded, respecting your decisions.
"you do know i have been trying to talk to you since the party, right?" draco asks you, and you shake your head. you're taken aback, but you decide to not talk.
"yeah, i really have," draco admits.
you deadpan, "oh. um, see you around draco."
after a month, you still have those lingering feelings for draco. him being sweeter to you than usual, really wasn't helping. he would wave at you in the hallways, ask to partner up with you in classes, and he seemed deeply interested in your preferences, likes, dislikes, and your life in general. it was odd for everyone else, too. it was almost like he was actually trying to be nice to you.
even though you had told draco that you needed time, it's like it went in one ear and out the other for him. he was actively trying to talk to you, walking you to class, and more. it felt like you were floating, or like you were dreaming. you convinced yourself that the guilt had probably been eating away at him, because that was really the only explanation.
"by the way, what's it like living in the muggle world?" draco asks you, resting his head on his own hand, curiosity getting the best of him. you two were out on the courtyard, where you had originally been by yourself, but he had decided to join you. you both sat cross legged, facing each other.
"ooh, what does your mother do for a living? i hear there's so many different kind of jobs in the muggle wor-"
"what the hell is up with you, malfoy?" you question, almost snapping at him, but you kept yourself in check. draco only looks at you weirdly, saying, "what do you mean?"
you roll your eyes, "you know what i mean, malfoy. why are you treating me like i'm fragile? like i'll break any second? i told you before and i'll say it again, i need time to adjust. you know that i have feelings for you, so are you trying to rub salt in the wound? because i'm really not sure what is going on."
draco laughs, "you really are dimwitted, aren't you?" he shakes his head.
"i'm sorry?" you squint your eyes at him, and he laughs again. god, you really loved his laugh.
"you're such an idiot, y/l/n," and with that sentence, he places a hand on your cheek and brings you in for a kiss. his lips land on yours, and you feel like a statue. you didn't know how to react, i mean, was draco really kissing you right now?
his lips are soft, and you felt a little bad because you did not move at all. when he pulls away, you're in awe, staring at him, shocked.
"what," you manage to get out, and draco giggles, cupping your cheeks in his hands.
"i fancy you, you idiot," draco says to you, and you swear you can feel your heart jumping out of your chest. you're still sitting in place, confusion written all over your face.
"the fuck," you sputter out this time. "you fancy me? since when?"
draco sighs, tapping his chin as he thinks. "pretty sure it was the day i caught you sleeping at the library. you had been studying for hours, a little drool on your arm as well. that was the day i decided that i like you."
you turn red, blinking your eyes.
"you saw that?"
"yeah, you looked nice that day."
draco leans back and rests his hands on the grass, smirking when he saw how much he affected you. "so, are you willing to go on a date with me?"
"o-oh, okay, wow. haha, didn't expect this," you're at a loss for words, and you know malfoy knows it, because he can't stop smiling at how stupid you probably sounded right now.
"great," he replies, pressing a kiss to your cheek.
"you know, ron won't be happy about this."
"oh forget the weasley, is he your boyfriend?"
"who said i had a boyfriend?

“Dad, please. All I’m saying is that… Hey! Listen to me!” you ran in front of John, blocking him from the door.
“Move, now,” he glared, clenching his jaw.
“Do you even care about us?” you scoffed, crossing your arms.
“(Y/N), get out of the way. Now,” he said.
“It’s Dean’s birthday. It’s Dean’s 13th birthday and you’re leaving. Again. Have you ever been here for one of his birthdays?” you raised your voice.
“You know, we don’t have a mother. We don’t even have you to call our dad. Yeah, leave again. Don’t even bother coming back at this point,” John kept quiet, only shoving past you as he slammed the door shut behind you.
You let out a sharp exhale, sitting down as you rubbed your head.
Why did it have to be like this? Sam and Dean were out at some library, Sam’s choice. You planned to surprise them when they got home, but apparently, John had another hunt to get to.
You let out a huff as you grabbed your jacket, going to the library to meet them.
---
“(Y/N),” Sam was resting on your back, while you held him tightly.
“Yeah, Dean?” you asked.
“Is Dad coming home soon?” you looked next to you, looking at your younger brother.
“Dad’s gonna be home when he can. But for now, we can have some fun! What do you want to do? Sam’s passed out so it’s just me and you for the night, kiddo,” you ruffled his hair as he pushed away from you.
“That’s so embarrassing, (Y/N)!” he exclaimed.
You laughed softly, holding his hand as the two of you made your way to the apartment.
---
“Did you eat breakfast?” you asked Dean.
“Yes,” he nodded.
“Sammy, you too?” you turned to your younger brother.
“Yeah,” he replied.
“Okay, let’s go,” you nodded, opening the door for the two of them.
“Did you eat breakfast, (Y/N),” Dean mocked your question.
“I’ll eat after I drop you two off at school,” Sam walked to the car, sitting in the backseat peacefully.
“How come you got to drop out of school? It’s not fair,” Dean grunted.
“Because I’m older than you,” you replied.
“That’s not a fair answer,” he said.
“Get in the car, Dean,” you rolled your eyes.
“What do you even do all day?” he scoffed.
“Car. Now,” you were used to Dean always questioning you, Sam being the only one who listened.
He muttered something to himself, sitting in the passage seat as he looked out the window.
---
“No,” you ran behind John.
“It's not your choice, (Y/N),” he said.
He agreed it was time for Dean’s first hunt.
“No, Dad. It's not safe,” you said.
“He's 15, (Y/N), it is time,” John argued.
“So what? We made a deal, Dad. Sam and Dean will not hunt until they’re old enough to make decisions this big,” you yelled at John.
“I need an extra hand,” John yelled.
“Then I’ll go with you! They can stay with Bobby, but under no circumstances are you going to make them hunt!” you yelled.
John made you hunt when you were as old as 8 years old. You hated hunting more than anything. But if you had to do it to keep your brother's safe, then you would.
“We’re leaving in 5 minutes. Be ready,” you nodded, running back to the motel room and started to gather some clothes.
---
“(Y/N), your eye!” Sam exclaimed, looking up at you.
“I’m fine, Sammy. It doesn't even hurt,” you said, closing the door behind you.
John was already gone.
You could feel your vision blur slightly but kept strong as you sat on the bed.
“Here,” Sam handed you an ice pack.
“Thanks, kid…. wait, where’s Dean?” you asked, realizing he wasn't there.
“He went out somewhere,” Sam said.
“What?! He left you here? Alone?!” you exclaimed, standing up.
“I-It’s okay, I’m a big kid,” Sam replied.
“You’re not a big kid, you’re 12. Get in the car. Do you know where the party is?” you said.
Your body and eye ached out in pain, as you bit your lip, taking a deep breath.
“Yeah. It’s….”
---
“You just embarrassed me in front of all those people!” Dean yelled, as you slammed the hotel door.
“You left Sam home alone!” you yelled at him.
“(Y/N), really, I’m fine,” Sam intervened.
“No, it’s not fine! Sam… just go in the bathroom!” you yelled.
Sam nodded softly, sitting in the bathroom as he closed the door.
“I don’t know why it’s a big deal! It’s one party!” Dean yelled, frustrated.
“It doesn't matter! You left him, by himself! He is 12, Dean! He is a child! A child in a hotel room by himself in the middle of the night!” you yelled.
“That’s not fair! Why should I have to sacrifice my life for him?!” Dean yelled.
“Because that's what being an older sibling is, Dean! You sacrifice your life for the sake of your brother! What if something happened to him, Dean?! What if he got hurt? What if a creature went after him?!” you screamed.
“Nothing happened! He was fine! You're so dumb and paranoid all the time! Nothing happened and nothing was going to happen!” you felt a pang in your chest as Dean spoke. You were taking away his life, his freedom. Just like John did to you.
“Go to bed,” you said softly.
“That's all you have to say now? Really?” Dean scoffed.
You opened the bathroom door, as Sam stood up.
“Both of you go to bed, it's late,” you said.
Sam nodded, walking to his bed.
You closed the door behind you, sitting on the ground as you held your head in your hands, ignoring the powerful burning sensation in your eye.
---
It would be easier to imagine that to be the worst argument that happened between you and Dean, but it wasn't the truth. Things only got worse after that, the two of you arguing about everything. The relationship between you two was now broken, and there wasn't any fixing it.
Sam left for Stanford. You were happy he got out. As time went on, you couldn't control if Sam and Dean hunted, you couldn't help them, they didn't need you anymore. John made it clear he didn't need you anymore.
He would send you on hunts by yourself, or with some random hunter, while he would go on hunts with Sam and Dean. Having a weak relationship with Dean also meant a worse one with Sam.
You and Dean had another fight. He was mad Sam left, he was mad that Sam abandoned the two of you. You were happy, you were proud.
Dad died. He sold his soul to save Dean. You should've done it first. You tried to talk to Dean, tell him it wasn't his fault. He only got mad at you. Another fight. You soon realized that it wasn't just the relationship between you and Dean that was broken, it was you.
Dean sold his soul to save Sam. He has a year left. He never talked about it, he never talked to you. After he died, you did the only thing you could. You sold your soul to bring him back. Unfortunately for you, you didn't know about Castiel, and how he was bringing Dean back. You were tricked. There was still a timer on your soul, a three-year timer, and there was no way out of it.
It was now your last month. Dean just came back from Purgatory, and you spent the last year looking for him. Your hallucinations had already started. You could feel your chest aching painfully as you took deep breaths. You had to tell them, but not just yet. In a little.
Time flew too fast. It was your last two days. Now or never.
“Sam’s not here right now,” Dean barely acknowledged you as you walked into the room.
“I know, I needed to talk to you,” you took a deep breath.
He turned around, facing you as he put his book down, crossing his arms.
“Is it important? I have other things to do,” he said.
You felt your face drop as you ran your fingers through your hair.
“N-No, we can talk later,” you said.
No, we can't. There won't be a later
He sighed, walking out of the room. You tried to speak, you tried to stop him, but you couldn't. You ran to your room, locking the door as you buried your face in your pillow, crying softly.
---
Your eyes were red as you walked to Dean, tears in your eyes. You had to tell him, you had to say something.
“I’m busy,” he said, turning his back to you.
“Just put the fucking book down,” he raised an eyebrow, turning to you before eyes widening, putting the book down.
“(Y/N)-” he started.
“I’ve spent the last three years trying to figure out how to say this. Just listen. I’m sorry, Dean, I’m sorry for everything. I’m sorry we didn't fix things between us, I’m sorry for ruining your life or whatever. But I care about you, and I love you because you're my younger brother. And that's never going to change. I only wanted the best for you and Sam, that's why I made your life a living hell and I’m sorry,” you stopped, as you took a shaky breath, looking down. Your heart was beating painfully fast, and your vision was blurred.
“Why are you saying that?” he tensed slightly, looking at you.
“Please, take care of yourself and take care of Sammy,” you bit your lip, holding in your cries.
You turned your back to him, closing your eyes.
“Stop it. Why are you saying goodbye? (Y/N),” Dean put his hands on your shoulders, turning you around to face him.
“What did you do?” he asked.
You stayed quiet, taking deep breaths.
“What did you do, (Y/N)?” he raised his voice.
“I’m sorry,” your voice broke.
He wrapped his arms around you tightly, sniffling.
“I-I need you, you can’t… don’t… don’t say goodbye, (Y/N), please,” you could feel your heart breaking as he rested his chin on your shoulder.
“Dean,” you started.
“(Y/N), you’re the best person I-I have. I’m sorry that I’ve been a bitch, but just listen. You sacrificed everything for us. You took care of us, you kept us safe. I never understood it before, but I get it now. I’m sorry, I’m so sorry,” you let out a soft cry as you squeezed him tightly.
“I-I have to g-go now. I don’t want to be here when it happens,” you whispered.
“No, I want to stay with you. Please,” he begged.
The two of you held onto each other tightly, crying. There was nothing more you could ask for.

Corrupt bf & Pico - you're all mine
⚠NSFW WARNING⚠
How was one supposed to react to panicked text messages sent around the time of three am?
Pico's insomnia kept him from having a decent sleep schedule, so he was awake to catch it. It was from Girlfriend. She sure as hell was never up so late, so what could possibly be so urgent?
"Hurry to my house"
"It's Bf"
"I won't be able to help you stop them"
Pico nearly thought he was reading everything incorrectly. He read those three messages over and over for about five minutes, trying to make sense of it. Stop them? What's wrong with Bee? He figured the longer he sat there, the less time he had to stop whatever was happening. With haste, he hopped out of bed, slipping on his usual combat khakis. He made sure his uzi was on him, as usual. This time he decided to take two with him. He rushed his way out of his apartment, almost forgetting to close the door behind him.
He tried calling her on the way there, running down the empty streets. There was an electric tingle in the air. He could feel something was wrong. He called her five times, and she still didn't pick up. He knew it would be a lost cause, but he still tried to call Bee. He called him about seven times. He had a mind to hit Nene and Darnell up about whatever the hell was going on, maybe the Uber kids finally decided to make a move or some shit? Who knew.
His lungs were on fire by the time he made it to her house. eerily enough, the front door was cracked open, as if someone made such a desperate escape that the doors to this mansion weren't important enough to keep closed. From where he was standing, he could see some lights throughout the house being left on. "Fucking god, what happened.." He grumbled to himself. The silence was deafening, as if time were standing still. Marching inside, he clutched his uzi at the ready tight to his chest.
The air inside the mansion was still, as if there had been no living creature to set foot inside for years. He used his phone flashlight to see, since the corridors tend to be dark at night. He, Bee, and Gigi all walked together through the halls, knowing Pico was uncomfortable by himself.
He was getting that feeling now.
He felt as if the shadows were dancing just beyond his eye sight, or maybe prowling, waiting for him to let his guard down. But when he looked, no one was there.
He stopped first in the mess hall. The light was on here. He relaxed a bit, quickly getting himself out of that dark hallway. It was fucking with his head. He opened his mouth to call for Gigi, but stopped himself. That's some dumb white people in a horror movie shit. If there was something in here, he would be the one to catch it by surprise.
He sniffed the air. Blood. He knew the scent well. He was hesitant to make his way into the kitchen, poking his head around the corner. He could have sworn he heard a scuffling sound, but when he flicked on the light, nothing. This whole situation had him on edge. It would have anybody on edge.
He tried calling Gigi again, quickly rushing to the staircase in the main area. He called her until he could hear her phone, it would give him a lead on where they've gone. It was in her bedroom. He could have guessed as much. The room was a damn mess, as if a tornado had come through and thrown everything around. Oh god, is Gigi okay? Pico felt the blood drain from his face, and his stomach twisted into a nervous knot. He smelled blood earlier, but didn't know where it came from.. There were some spots on the floor near her bed. He grabbed her phone to look at it. Thank goodness he knew her password. He unlocked it and looked through it to see if she called or texted anyone else. She had an unfinished message she would have sent to Pico.
"It won't stop until"
Until what?
"Dammit.." Pico growled under his breath, then set her phone back down. Where the fuck was she? Where was Bee?
He took a moment to breathe in her room. He couldn't lose them. He couldn't lose anyone else. He didn't want to be alone again. Not again..
No... Now's not the time..
With a shaky breath, he stood off the bed, and marched out of her room. He sniffed the air again. Still blood.. but a trail. He looked down at his feet to see the trail of blood. It led down the staircase off to the left. Following it took him to the last place he wanted to go.
The basement.
This never goes well in horror movies and he knows that.
He almost considered not going down there at all, but the fact that this was Bee and Gigi, and quite possibly the rest of the city in trouble, well, he would have to fight again. Just like the old days.
He gathered the courage, pulled out his phone, and descended into the dark floor.
It was pitch black. He couldn't see a few feet in front of his flash light. He could feel it. Them. Her, him. They were down here. He could see the shadows move, he could feel the darkness breathing down his neck. He tightened his hold on his uzi, then spoke. "Come the fuck out, now."
His demand was followed by immediate laughter, which made him flinch. He swung his phone behind him, but he still couldn't see a thing. That's when something knocked against his hand, something cold and wet. His phone tumbled against the concrete flooring, and he was quick to shoot in whatever direction it came from. Twice. Nothing. "Stop fucking with me and come out!" He growled angrily. What felt like an arm wrapped around his waist, and he acted quickly, turning around to grab the source of it, but his arms were quickly restrained above his head, presumably from the same thing that knocked his phone away.
He shivered at the sensation, and was about to yell again when someone finally spoke. "You've always been such a fighter.. You would even fight your own lovers?" It was.... "B.. Bee?? Where are you?" His eyes darted around blindly in the dark, and he bit his lip. "I'm right in front of you, silly."
"Well I wouldn't be able to fucking tell that in the pitch black darkness, dipshit." Pico spat back in response, only for Bee to giggle. "So tough.. Have it your way."
He heard the flick of a light switch, and was apalled by the sight in front of him.
Only about a foot in front of him stood.. Boyfriend? But... Looking at him was like looking into a void. His entire body was engulfed in this black substance. His face was almost unrecognisable. It was as if he had a row of razor sharp teeth to replace his normal ones, and he could only see one eye. That eye was blank white, like his own, only sharper and more insidious looking.
Pico's heart dropped to his stomach. He was at a loss for words. "What the fuck are you.." His words came out in a mumble, like he could barely speak. It laughed at him. "I'm your Boyfriend, silly!" It cooed back, moving only so he was a few inches away from him. Their bodies touched, and Pico let out another fierce growl before tugging at his restraints. They were.. Weird tentacle shit, go figure. He quickly glanced around, and that's when he noticed another body on the ground some ways away, and assumed the worst.
She was breathing. Shallow.
"Gigi! Girlfriend what-" He stopped again. The same dark matter had mostly consumed her body. A painful grin stretched along her face. She looked terrified, yet she couldn't move. The only spot not touched by the matter was her right eye. She looked at him. "Holy shit this is fucked.. Look I'd love to stay and plot evil shit with you, but can you fuck off and let them go?" Pico swallowed nervously. That was about as nice as he could ask.
"Hm.. I dunno.. You just might have to beg for your life first. I have just the thing for you." The thing that called itself his Boyfriend giggled up something sinister. It moved its arm from his waist, then threw Pico across the room. The ginger tumbled to the floor with a grunt, but quickly regathered himself, reaching for his uzi with a quickness. Still not quick enough. A tendril knocked it from his hand, then grabbed his wrist. Pico managed to catch another one coming at him, just barely managing to hold it. He had a scowl on his face. "If you're so fucking bad why not fight hand to hand?" He called out to him, and it scoffed. "Yeah yeah, I'm not here to fight sweetheart." Another one lunged for his leg, and with two apendages restrained, he was pinned to the wall, rather harshly.
It knocked the wind out of him, and he shook his head, but his other leg was caught, and they were spread apart, and his arms were lifted above his head again. Oh, fuck this. "Jesus what the fuck do you want?? What the fuck is your goal?!" Pico was growing desperate. It sure had a knack for laughing at him. "I want to hear you scream." With that, it advanced on him, continuing to walk toward him. One more of the slimy apendages slithered up Pico's sweater, and it made him shudder. It was called into question what type of scream we were talking about here.
That question was soon answered when he felt the flick against his nipple, and the tearing of his favorite fucking sweater off his body. Honestly he was kinda mad about that, but now wasn't the time to worry about clothes! He couldn't move, as much as he tried, then he felt a searing hot pain on his hip. It was touching him, with its sharp claws. All it did was poke him, and doing so felt like it was fire to his veins. The dark matter seeped into his skin, staining the white surface with the black inky void the other two were covered in. He bit his lip to hold back his sound of pain, only to be conflicted with a tendril beginning to fondle his junk through his pants.
"You're fucking sick." He snarled through grit teeth, and it simply shook his head. "Oh Pico," It unzipped his pants, then pulled them down to his knees with ease. "I'm only doing this because I love you." It grinned, but it was only wicked and crazed. Pico shook his head. This sure as hell wasn't his Boyfriend. He let out a surprised grunt at the feeling of his shaft being toyed with, and absentmindedly bucked his hips. His eyes flew wide upon realisation, and he struggled to move again. "F-Fuck off!" He choked out, trying to ignore the heat that rose to his cheeks.
"Always so cute.. Yet you look at me crazy when I suggest you bottom, huh?" Pico shook his head again, trying to block out the words. It couldn't have Bf's memories. It wasn't him. It wasn't. He gnashed his teeth together as it dragged another claw along his abdomen, watching the matter spread against his flesh, slowly, painfully. "Fuck this.." Pico groaned out, squeezing his eyes shut. If he could tap out honestly he would. It laughed at him again, one of the tendrils prodding at his little pink hole. "I mean.. that is the plan." It teased him, and it pushed inside of him. It was already slick with whatever was coating these things, but the abrupt movement had Pico crying out in pain. The ginger threw his head back, and he tried not to make a sound, but this all hurt like hell. It hurt.. But.. It felt so.. good? That had to be this corruption talking, it had to be.
Pico's back arched, and he felt it move in and out, pushing near his prostate, pulling out when it got close. "Oh... Fuck... This..!" He exclaimed breathlessly, moving his hips around as it began to move faster. The thing standing in front of him seemed pleased, wrapping a firm claw around his cock. Good Lord this thing was kinda hot.. Wait. Pico gasped out at the feeling of it finally hitting his prostate, that being enough to push him to the point of tears. "Now, like I said." It began to speak again. More of the blackness had claimed more of his body. He could feel it crawling under his skin. "Beg for it to stop. You wanted me to be.. 'let go', right? So beg for it." It had a cocky smirk on its face. Pico couldn't believe what the fuck was happening. "P-Please.." It took everything in his power not to moan his words. "L-Let.. Let them go.." He had been biting his lip so hard it started to bleed. The creature laughed, damn there crushing his length in his hand. "That's not what I want, Pico dear." It stated vaguely.
Pico rolled his eyes, then tilted his head back. "Please.. P-hah...! Please..! Let them... G-Go..!" He begged, against his wishes of course. That would have pushed him to the edge if his dick wasn't being practically crushed right now. "Awe, that's a good boy, Pico.." It cooed proudly. Pico's face was on fire, from what he assumed was blush. How fucking embarrassing. "Unfortunately you're a little too late." It smirked again, and let go, allowing Pico to let go as well, relaxing a bit as he released blissfully, but wasn't aware. "Now you get to be with us. Forever." Pico could barely register the sinister laughter as his eyes glazed over, and his consciousness was pushed back to be a passenger, unable to stop the laughter that rose from his own chest to join the cacophony of the thing that called itself his Boyfriend.
And now he resided inside the thing that called itself Pico.

hey, can u do prompt 68, maybe with remus and sirius? I really love your work❤
Thank you, lovely! To the five different people (or just a couple incredibly dedicated ones) who requested this prompt: I see you and your restraint kinks, and yes, I am still taking prompts from both lists. Most of these asks included other prompts, which I worked into this as well. Coops credit goes to @lumosinlove!
TW for restraint, smut
Prompt 68: “Just your wrists. If you don’t like it we can stop”
Prompt 73: “I want to watch you fall apart.”
Prompt 84: “I love how your body loses control when you come.”
“Baby,” Remus murmured as he worked his way along Sirius’ jaw, pressing open-mouthed kisses to every inch of skin he could reach. Sirius hummed, sliding his hands down to dip beneath the band of Remus’ boxers for a moment as he rolled his hips up. “I want to—hmm—to try something.”
“What?” Sirius’ lips trailed up his neck, soft and slightly swollen. With great effort, Remus sat up and leaned over to their nightstand, rummaging through the top drawer. “The lube is over here.”
“Not looking for that.” He felt Sirius twitch under his thigh and his grip tightened on his waist. Something silky brushed his hand and he pulled it out of the drawer, holding it up for Sirius to see.
“One of my ties?” Sirius raised an eyebrow. “If you’re suggesting we get dressed and go out, I going to politely say absolutely fucking not.”
Remus laughed and placed a kiss to his cheek. Sirius shuddered at the shift of his hips and he smiled, starting to slowly grind down. “I thought we could try that thing we were talking about last week,” he said.
“What thi—oh. Oh.”
“Do you want to? Just your wrists. If you don’t like it, we can stop.”
“Hell yes, let’s go.” Sirius ran his hands up Remus’ sides as interest lit in his eyes.
“Easy tiger.” Sirius whined and Remus grinned, lacing their fingers together and sliding them up onto the pillows; his back stretched at the movement and he sighed happily. “Safeword?”
“Red.”
“Love you.”
“Love you, too. Stop stalling.”
“I’m not stalling!” Remus protested, sitting back a bit despite Sirius’ very kissable pout. “Consent is sexy.”
“So is getting tied up by my incredibly hot fiancé!” Well, fuck, that sent a wave of tingles through every nerve in his body. A mischievous smile tugged at the corner of Sirius’ lips and he held his wrists out. “Oh, okay then. C’mon, Loops, tie me up.”
“You’re such a brat,” he said as he leaned down so his elbows rested on either side of Sirius’ head, perfectly in range to see his cocky smile up close and personal. Sirius opened his mouth, probably to fire back with something snarky, only to fall silent when Remus pinned his hands to the pillows. “Yeah, that’s what I thought.”
Sirius shifted beneath him and pushed their hips together; feeling the damp patch on the front of his boxers was doing nothing to support Remus’ attempt at keeping his brain from dissolving into mush. “Please, mon coeur?”
A small shiver ran down his spine at the nickname and he sat up again, fumbling with the tie as Sirius arched his back and kept his arms above his head. Okay, Lupin, you know how to do this. Remember the process. Two loops, twist, through, one more, and slide. Sirius closed his eyes as the tie slipped over his wrists and smiled lazily—Remus saw some the tension release from his shoulders immediately.
“Is that okay?” he asked, running his thumb along the smooth fabric. Sirius mumbled something and flexed his fingers. “Sorry, love, didn’t catch that.”
“Tighter.”
All the breath fled Remus’ lungs and he swallowed thickly as he obliged, wrapping the extra around his hand. A cut-off moan slipped through Sirius’ lips and his eyes flashed open, pupils dilated. “Better?”
“So good, so good, allez.”
“Tell me if it’s too tight,” Remus said as he began kissing his way down Sirius’ chest. “Baby, promise you’ll tell me.”
“I will,” Sirius panted. “Fuck, sweetheart, please.”
“What do you want?” Remus tugged one side of his underwear down and nipped lightly at the exposed skin, making him jolt.
His answer was little more than a whisper. “Anything.”
Remus slid his boxers down his strong legs, taking a moment to appreciate the cut of his thighs as they clenched under his touch. His dick was leaking steadily, and both his knees jerked upward when Remus closed his mouth around the head—Sirius keened as he gently guided them back down and laid on his stomach. “Easy, love, I’ve got you.”
“Not going to last.” Sirius’ voice broke. “I’m so fucking hard, Re, you can’t tease me right now.”
Remus pulled away and straddled him again, hovering less than an inch over his dick as he writhed. Sirius went still, chest heaving, when he planted his hands next to his head and tilted his chin just so. “I can and I will,” he said lowly, leaning down to suck a small hickey into the muscle of his shoulder. “I want to watch you fall apart.”
Judging by the ticking at the side of his jaw and his shaky exhale, Sirius was mere moments away from coming just from that. Good. Remus settled between his legs again and licked up his shaft, relishing in the salty taste of his precome as it dripped down. “I’m—I’m—”
“No.”
“Remus,” Sirius groaned, pulling at the tie around his wrists.
“This really gets you going, doesn’t it?” Remus reached up and tugged the central knot with one finger. “I don’t think I’ve seen you like this since you wore my jersey.”
A pretty flush spread up Sirius’ chest and he strained against the bindings once again; with a frustrated noise, he let his hands fall back down. “I want to touch you.”
“Do you want me to take it off?”
“Not really.”
“Then too bad,” Remus said with a smirk, tapping his chin until he leaned in for a slow, dirty kiss. He rolled Sirius’ lower lip between his teeth until it was red and slick, running one hand down his side to wrap around his dick and tug; he could practically taste Sirius’ gasp as their chests bumped together. “I bet I’ll barely have to do anything to get you off. You’re almost there already, aren’t you?”
Sirius’ vocabulary seemed to be reduced to low moans and half-finished pleas, interspersed with Remus’ name whenever he swiped his thumb over the top of his dick. He nodded, eyes glazed as he gripped the tie with white knuckles. Remus drew him in for another kiss and his shoulders shifted.
“What are you doing?” he asked against his mouth with a short laugh. Warm weight settled over his shoulders and Sirius sighed, pulling him down more. “Oh, no you don’t.”
It took some maneuvering to slide out from under Sirius’ arms, but he succeeded after a slight struggle and returned them to their previous position. “Re,” he grumbled, pouting. “Why not?”
“Because I said so.”
“Don’t be such a—ngh, do that again.” His back arched and Remus squeezed the base of his dick lightly, feeling smug pride spread through his limbs at the desperate noise he made in response.
“Come on, baby, you can do it,” he teased, jacking his hand up to gather more precome and smooth out the slide. “You can do it.”
“Not with you holding me like that!”
“Are you sure?” Remus grinned, lowering down just enough to tongue at his slit and make his knees knock against his biceps. “Ouch.”
“I’m sure, I’m sure, oh fuck.” Sirius was breathing hard and twisting the knot around as if he could get it undone by sheer force of will.
“Baby, don’t hurt yourself,” Remus said quietly, reaching up to untangle the coils. Sirius bucked his hips up, grinding his dick against Remus’ underwear, and Remus wrapped both his hands around his forearms, pushing them into the pillows firmly. “What was that?”
“Re, please I’m so close,” he babbled. “Feels so good, please.”
“You know what? Fine.” Sirius seemed rather surprised, but that quickly melted away as Remus began stroking him again in tight, short pulls that made his legs shake. “Go ahead, Sirius.”
“Why do I feel like this is a trap?” he panted, tilting his head back in pleasure.
“Why would it be a trap?”
“Because you never—oh—you never let me off easy.” He grinned at him from under those long, dark lashes and Remus felt a spike of heat in his stomach.
“I think you’re forgetting something.”
Sirius squeezed his eyes closed and let out a strained laugh that slid into a moan. “I’m forgetting a lot of things right now.”
Remus loosened his grip slightly, but didn’t slow his pace as he leaned up so they were eye-to-eye. “I like seeing you like this just as much as you like being tied up.”
There were few sights more beautiful than Sirius Black coming, and Remus was glad he had sole ownership of that knowledge. His silver eyes went wide, then screwed up tightly as his elbows bent down on reflex and one of his legs hitched up around Remus’ hip. Remus stroked him through it, making soft shushing sounds as come coated his hand and the aftershocks rippled through him.
“There you are,” he said with a smile as Sirius blinked up at him after a moment. He was achingly hard, but he placed a kiss to his forehead all the same and rested his chin on his folded forearms. “Hey. I love how your body loses control when you come.”
“Huh.”
“That’s a good sign,” he laughed, sitting up to undo the tie. Sirius’ arms were limp and pliant as the fabric slipped off; even when it was gone, his hands remained there until Remus pulled them down and rubbed small circles into the reddened skin. “How are you feeling? It wasn’t too tight, was it?”
“Non. Tout bon.”
“Good.” Remus slid his arms under Sirius’ back and snuggled into his chest, feeling his hands come up to clumsily settle between his shoulder blades. “We should definitely do that again sometime.”
“Mhmm.” Sirius kissed the top of his head. “I can feel how hard you are, you know.”
“Shocking. Who would’ve thought.”
“I promise to do something about that, but give me, like, two minutes. My bones are still coming back.”
Remus grinned. “Yeah, they are.”
“Shut up,” Sirius laughed, flicking him lightly on the shoulder. “One of these days we’re going to make it through without you making fun of me.”
“It comes from a place of love.” He propped his chin up and smiled as Sirius kissed his nose.
“I know. I love it.”
“Love you, too.”

aokaga drabble: post-nba
plot: kagami cuts off all his friends after forced retirement from the nba, and goes to live in japan again so that he can rebuild himself from the ground up. aomine’s girlfriend, sabs (whom we love), breaks up with him and aomine follows kagami to try and reconnect after a quiet few months. he’s worried as hell, he loves kagami, who he knows without hearing from him that he is miserable. it’s angst. word count: 5860 notes: sfw, future verse, aomine’s pov. it’s specific to my future verse hcs but hopefully it makes sense even if u dont know them lol. nijimura and kagami are ( thank you so much for reminding me about this. present tense. they ARE ) besties, i think that comes up.
god, it's just too weird coming back here. everything is the same. same cream wallpaper, same dirty mirror in the lift. same buttons, circled with red once pressed. same shitty elevator music. it hums melodically, creating the pretence of relaxation, but daiki is anything but. he stares at himself in the mirror. not much taller than the last time he'd been inside, on his way to see an exuberant redhead in that same, ridiculous penthouse apartment he'd had by himself. would it seem small now that he'd seen the world? now that he had money of his own, lived in a big apartment himself? there are lines in his brow as he inspects it. he doesn't try to fix it. allows himself these nerves because they remind him that he cares. if he didn't, he wouldn't have come back to stay with his parents. wouldn't have followed taiga across the world despite the months of radio silence. missed calls ( ignored calls ). unanswered texts. daiki had tried everything. called taiga’s dad, asked if he'd heard anything recently from him. he never had. never gave daiki anything, anyway. all 'oh, I'm sure he's fine, he's probably just sulking about his injuries.' yeah, that's what daiki is worried about. asao had always got on his nerves. how is he so blind? why can't he see that taiga's devastated to be retiring? he still had as much fight in him as he'd had when they were teenagers. so much fight, and grit, and impossible potential.
the elevator dings. he doesn't move for a moment. ghosts surround him. that time taiga dragged him way too roughly into his apartment, only to kiss him like he's made of glass. the times they'd held hands in the full elevator and no one had minded. the time someone had, and taiga nearly beat him up for it. like, really nearly. all the occasions taiga found to cook meals for him. all the excuses. how the hell could taiga stand to come back here and relive all those memories?
the doors shut. daiki grunts and pushes the button to open them again. he has to buck up. he has to gather himself, all the courage in the world, and tell taiga everything. he was waiting inside, anyway. he'd buzzed him up. yeah, alright. he'd said at the door. yeah, alright. he sounds different now. colder. the knot in his stomach is eating him alive. tearing organs apart. his knees are weak, barely carrying him into the hallway.
how will he phrase it? Daiki makes his way to taiga's door. it's the same colour. same paint, it's peeling a little. he feels sick. so sick. it's fight or flight, isn't it? the nerves. well, he'd already flown away. already allowed taiga to think he didn't care. maybe he hadn't. maybe love had drifted between them, fluttering around like a butterfly in spring. sabina had been a flower daiki visited, she was everything he thought he'd wanted in a partner. funny, clever, interested in him. not like in love him, which she had been, but she'd asked how his day was. sabs was great, but she wasn't taiga. they fought a lot, but not in the same way he'd fought with taiga. and taiga had dated people too, like that hot business guy. older, smart, in love. daiki recognised the way he'd looked at taiga during that terrible doubt date they'd gone on. softly, in awe, like there had been no one else in the room. and taiga had been looking at daiki. saying something with a smirk, trying to get a rise out of him. daiki could have kissed him then.
but he's broken up with sabs when taiga retired. all daiki had done was call him, text him, trying to find out if he was okay. of course he wasn't, but daiki wanted to be there for him. sabs grew tired of it. he doesn't blame her for it. he doesn't blame himself for being in love with taiga, either. it's the natural way of things. and it has been the natural way of things to go back to Japan as soon as he could get a break away from work. he stayed with his parents, kept his head down. reconnected with other old friends from high school, tried to pretend it was just a social call. Tried to pretend he hadn't come all the over here on the off chance taiga might be around to see him, wherever he'd been. what a bittersweet moment when taiga first texted back a few months ago. all casualness, he’d said don’t worry about me, i’m fine. talk soon x and that had been it. he’d replied in english, daiki had texted in english. daiki called him about a week ago and taiga had answered. hearing his voice had been jarring. he’d been waiting so long, so patiently. always hoping taiga would call him for a change.
“i’m in tokyo visiting family,” daiki had said hastily, shocked that he’d actually get a reply this time. he waited. nothing. fine. he kept talking. “i get it if you don’t wanna talk to me, or whatever, but---
“no, i wanna see you. come over. i’m back in my old apartment, you remember where that is? come by next saturday.” and they agreed on a time like it was the most normal thing in the world.
daiki sees his hand raise to knock on the door, and he wonders how many times in his life he’d done this. his knuckles had met the door hundreds of times before, when they’d been younger. less experienced. happier. god, daiki’s scared. it’s too weird coming back here.
the door opens. it’s taiga. he looks tired. he’s put on weight, his bare arms are still tree trunks but they’re not showing muscle definition anymore. he makes grey sweats and a black t-shirt look classic for a reason. daiki stares at him, taking it all in, suddenly tongue-tied. he doesn’t have the right words, they don’t exist. there’s nothing to say. he shouldn’t have come.
“makes you feel old, don’t it?” taiga says, rubbing his neck.
"what?”
“being back here. i feel like i should ask you if you wanna play one-on-one then go to maji’s.” the joke hurts. red eyes hold such sadness in them. it looks like it hurts to look at daiki, too. he shouldn’t have come.
“taiga---”
“i can’t, i dunno if you heard. i can’t play again. i’m still recovering. i had to choose between being able to walk when i’m sixty, or playing basketball another year. i was so close to picking basketball.”
daiki trudges inside. he fights the instinct to sweep taiga into an all-encompassing hug. it’s awful being in this room again. the furniture is different, thank god, but the essentials are in the same place. the kitchen is the same. there’s the spot daiki would always perch when taiga was cooking something for him. the sofa is in a different position. how clearly he can see the old layout now that he stands amongst its replacements. daiki doesn’t know what to say to taiga’s crushing statement. could he speak if he wanted to? there’s a lump in his throat. he takes his shoes off. those are taiga’s jordans. it’s good he still wears basketball shoes. it’s wrong when he doesn’t. they’re like an extension of him, like the colour of his hair. scarlet in the sunlight.
“isn’t that what you wanted to hear?” taiga’s voice is so dark, he hasn’t shut the door yet. when daiki looks over, the hand on the door is tense, as if trying to make a fist through the wood. it takes daiki by surprise to see this rage. “isn’t that what anyone wants to know, whether i care if i played again?”
“i---” he blinks. “i don’t care about basketball.”
wrong answer. the door slams. daiki flinches. taiga stalks into the kitchen.
“i mean, of course i care, it’s just-- you scared the shit outta me. i figured you didn’t wanna see me of all people, then i heard you cut everyone off, all your old teammates. gave everyone the cold shoulder. we just wanna help you, man, you’re not alone in this.”
“i’m over it.”
“i wouldn’t be, if i was you.”
“you have no idea how i feel, daiki,” taiga pulls two beers from the fridge. daiki had half expected banana milk. the thought makes him feel worse.
“nobody does, you won’t talk to anyone.” it’s a leap, maybe he had been, but had avoided daiki’s questions when he’d asked them. did nijimura know how he felt? did satsuki, and they just hadn’t told him?
“i don’t want to,” he takes the drinks to the couch, and daiki follows. daiki sits in a chair where his beanbag had once been. taiga continues, “i don’t wanna even think about basketball. that’s why i never messaged you back. i knew it would all come out once i saw you.”
daiki doesn’t open his beer. he stares at it guiltily, but he can’t bear opening it. can’t bear disturbing the quiet falling between them.
“i would’ve left you alone if you hurt yourself,” taiga goes on, in too smooth of a tone to have been anything but the truth. “i would’ve known you wouldn’t want to see me because it’d remind you of the old times.”
silence. he really shouldn’t have come.
“i’ve always had basketball,” taiga says quietly, sipping on his beer. “all my friends were into it too. back when i had this place first, i figured everyone was only interested because i was good. especially you guys.” he clicks his tongue. “you, generation of miracles. i didn’t blame you, either. i got it. tetsu, ryouta, tatsuya. i’d think about whether you’d lose interest if i got hurt and couldn’t play anymore. i didn’t wanna face it.”
“is that--- is that what you think about me now?”
no reply. he drinks more beer. daiki shifts to the edge of his seat.
“taiga. answer me.”
“i considered it. at first, definitely. then you kept calling, i guessed it was your conscience or something. don’t feel bad about it, or whatever--”
“don’t feel bad? why would you think that? i--” he has to take a breath. it’s taiga’s mistake. it’s something in his past that caused him to think that the limits of his worth are tied with his ability to play ball. that’s awful. but it’s not something to argue over. it won’t help. “look, you’re wrong. alright? don’t ever think that about me again.”
taiga shrugs. “you wanted to know how i felt.”
it’s a blow. it hurts. no doubt about it. when daiki had said i love you, had taiga always heard i love your basketball? that’s ridiculous. daiki had loved taiga’s way of playing, but that wasn’t just it?! there are corners of taiga’s mind that daiki doesn’t like, doesn’t get along with. but despite that, he loves that, too. loves taiga. loves, loves, loves him. he always has, he always will.
“you once said there’s nothing a winner can say to a loser. ain’t that how it is here? what could you say to me i haven’t heard from everyone else who can still play basketball?”
“if you couldn’t walk now, do you really think i wouldn’t wanna be there to help you with your wheelchair?” it slipped out, almost venomously. defensively. taiga blinks, quiet as the dead. daiki sighs, setting the drink down unopened. “you’re one of my best friends, taiga. you’re more than that. i think i made myself pretty clear when i called you and texted you. sorry if that was the wrong thing to do... but... if you stopped playing basketball after high school, i’d still have wanted you around, you know. even if you were some boring ass banker in another country, i still would’ve kept in touch.”
daiki doesn’t look at taiga now. he can’t. it’s too much honesty. there’s too much weight to his words. ( if he had looked over, he’d see the shaking hand raising beer to lips, hiding that they too quiver under the threat of tears. )
“sorry if i’m just saying stuff you’ve heard before. i’ll leave if i’m making it worse. i didn’t mean to.”
continued silence. what does he say next? what can he say? he doesn't want to leave. he should have come. daiki sighs, sinking back into his seat with his eyes anywhere but on taiga. this chair is hard. it's a sand-coloured linen armchair with deep mahogany accents. the kind of chair that really isn't meant to be sat in. sabs had one like this. it was a glorified bowl. totally uncomfortable, and even he was never able to sleep in it. this chair is similar. its voice is loud and harsh: i am an adult purchase. daiki misses the beanbag. the most comfortable thing he'd ever slept on. second most. he finally looks at taiga. the couch is different. it's also sand in colour, and cuboid, but the arm-rests are low and with the right cushion, their rounded corners would make for a good napping area.
the old sofa hadn't been comfortable. he'd convinced himself that it was, until taiga became the perfect cushion between sofa and daiki. it's a stupid thought, but is a toned body really that comfortable of a cushion? the soft lines of taiga's broad shoulders look just as enticing. but... the beanbag... daiki's bought beanbags for himself since then but they've never been the same. even the same brand (model discontinued) hadn't been the same. it wasn't just that it was oblong and firm enough that he doesn't touch the floor, while still retaining body-moulding softness. it was partly that. daiki had realised it the first time he settled into his new and immediately rejected beanbag years ago, when he and taiga had broken up for the second major time. it was that he'd been on taiga's floor, exhausted after an almost challenging one-on-one, waiting for his rival to make him his dinner. even before they'd started dating, daiki had felt a special sort of peace here. there's comfort in finding someone who you can be your authentic self with. daiki's basketball ability didn't scare taiga off.
"daiki?"
daiki had been staring at the window when taiga spoke. he immediately looked over, momentarily forgetting everything that was said minutes before. forgetting why he's here, what brought him, what chair he's sitting in. he's in the beanbag again. taiga's about to ask him to solve a history question, and daiki's half a second away from making up a completely fictitious answer so he doesn't have to bashfully admit that he doesn't know.
“can i ask you something?”
“shoot,”
“were you just thinking about your old beanbag?”
ah. busted. he blinks, dazed. taiga’s expression starts to change. his eyes search daiki’s from across the room and gradually, a smile forms. the sun comes out. literally. the shadow-stealing grey sky gave the city a brief interlude of hope in a few, impossibly long seconds of proper sunlight. the weather, daiki noticed, linked inextricably with a personal epiphany. it doesn’t matter whether he’s an easy read. at any given moment, daiki is thinking about his next meal or his next sleep. but that, in the depths of their conversation, taiga had pulled himself out of it enough to come to the correct conclusion on what daiki was thinking about. it wasn’t basketball, it wasn’t their history ( not entirely, at least ), and it wasn’t taiga’s injuries ( though maybe it should have been? ). it was his old beanbag. not taiga’s. not nijimura’s. his. and he’s smiling again, for the first time today. a wall has come down.
the future starts to fit into place. is that dramatic? it’s fate. it’s fate. does taiga see it too? does he knows that daiki could walk to the ends of the earth for him? daiki smiles too, now. he sinks deeper into his awful seat, shoulders almost meeting his ears.
“i hate this chair, taiga.”
“me too, but i hated the beanbag more.”
“you didn’t,” a critical insult! “why’d you keep it if you hated it so much?”
taiga sighs now, shifting in his seat so that his arm rested on the back of the couch, head against his hand. he stares with an unimpressed downwards turn to his mouth, and a double chin beneath his jaw. because you loved it, his eyes replied in words his mouth couldn’t betray, and i loved you. past tense, daiki can’t flatter himself into thinking that taiga is in any kind of place to be thinking about relationships. but they’d been in love before. daiki had been taiga’s first ( almost ) everything. it’s over in a split second, but he remembers thinking they’d be together forever.
“do you really think i could’ve been a banker?”
the question, offered casually under the guise of an innocent topic change, has weight to it. daiki knows this, but it doesn’t matter. his answer comes from the heart. their eyes meet.
“y’know,” daiki straightens up a little, “yeah, i do. i still think you could be a banker, dude. you’re one of the few people i’ve met who can really do anything you set your mind to.”
“i’m too stupid to be a banker.”
insecure words don’t suit taiga’s voice. they sound wrong. daiki doesn’t look away. “your tenacity outweighs your stupidity any day.”
taiga rolls his eyes and sips his beer. his smile fades. what’s he thinking about? daiki feels guilty realising he can’t read taiga as well as the other way around, but the last time they’d been in this room, it would have been a fair guess to suggest basketball was on his mind. it had almost always been on his mind. and now that his eyes no longer sparkle, basketball or lack thereof would also be a decent guess, but daiki didn’t think it was just that. does taiga think of the past? does he regret not paying attention in school and not giving himself any kind of backup career? daiki does. their parents do.
god, why can’t he think of anything to say? why is he so fucking silent all of a sudden? daiki’s usually quick as a whip, can spark a laugh or a fight at his whim. he usually knows just what to say when taiga’s not feeling great. or knows just what to do. all he can think of is a hug and what good has a hug ever done, really? he wants to wrap his arms around his old friend’s shoulders and tell him it’s all going to be alright. would taiga push him away? would he get mad?
“so,” taiga stands unexpectedly. is he about to tell him to get lost? “how are you doing?”
it takes him aback. uh, he’s been shit. he’s been worrying to death over taiga’s lack of communication, and fearing the worst with every phone call ignored. daiki exhales, watching taiga walk over to the sliding doors to the tiny balcony. it’s early evening and the city is starting to twinkle. does taiga admire its familiar beauty, or does he stare out with an empty gaze? for the love of all things good, daiki, for fuck’s sake! just say something!
“fine,” excellent.
“good. how’s sabs?”
“sabs?”
“yeah. i heard things were getting serious with you two.” his voice is impossible to hear, but he’s not mocking him. taiga’s ignorance at the situation is baffling, but he isn’t being spiteful.
“uh. we-- we broke up, man, ages ago. like, a few months.”
“huh.”
silence returned. daiki hates this. he understands not googling each other, but hadn’t anyone told taiga about sabs and him? had taiga really not asked? he’d been avoiding every other basketball guy he knows, why would daiki be any different? was it possible that taiga doesn’t care anymore? no, cool it. no talking about relationships right now, it’s not the time. fuck knows what conversation this moment does call for, but it’s not that. leave it. chill. have some beer.
daiki follows his own advice and finally opens his beer. it’s gross. he’s more of a wine guy, while taiga has always liked his beers. unsurprisingly, the drink does little to distract him.
“how are your parents?”
so is this what it was going to be? small talk? daiki would prefer going back to aggressively telling taiga how fucking amazing he is, just to fight the voice that had said i’m too stupid to be a banker.
“dad’s retiring soon,” daiki replies in a sigh, “there’ll be a party. you should come.”
taiga chuckles dryly.
you don’t have to, jesus. daiki doesn’t say it, and fights the irritation as best as he can. he’s using the same patience that taiga had used with him in the past when the world had felt like it was collapsing. “mom asks about you all the time.”
a grunt this time; it’s kind of like the surprised huh from earlier, mixed with a noise of amused rejection.
“how’s your dad?”
“he doesn’t get it at all. i tried telling him imagine you lost both your hands and couldn’t work anymore, but it’s not the same. he doesn’t love his work.”
daiki’s moving before he can help it. he comes to stand beside taiga to watch the city. he can’t see beyond the reflection of taiga’s sorrowful face in the glass. he’d been right, earlier. those gorgeous eyes were empty. if he was looking at the view, his eyes were dead on the horizon.
taiga continues without interruption. “he only works as an escape from everything he fucked up in his life. me, for instance.”
“taiga,” daiki’s heart aches.
“i should’a listened when i was a kid. that’s it. i should’a paced myself.”
“would you have joined seirin’s team if you paced yourself?”
silence.
“your intensity is a part of you, taiga,” daiki says gently. taiga’s distant eyes hone in on the reflection, too, and now they’re looking at each other in the glass. daiki is first to look away like a coward. “i think if you had paced yourself, you’d have come to one of seirin’s games. you would’a found out about the generation of miracles and thought i wanna take those asshole down a notch.”
“you told me my light’s too dim when we first met, though.” taiga turns his head so that he’s facing the city again. “even if i joined the team, we still lost before we got to finally beat you.”
“it was tetsu who lifted you up to my level,” daiki’s reply is barely a whisper. he’s falling into his own memories and his eyes drop to the windowpane. it had always been him. they both dwelled on it, he didn’t have to be a mind-reader for that. he misses kuroko like hell.
“you ever wish you hated basketball?” taiga’s voice cracks. he takes a sip of beer and daiki copies him.
“yeah,” before he’d met taiga, he’d been plagued with the idea of never meeting anyone up to his standards. anyone better. kise came close, but daiki had lost to seirin. that felt like lifetimes ago now.
“this fucking sucks,” he’d finished his beer now. daiki glances over in time to see taiga blindly toss his beer bottle over his shoulder. he looks back to see where it landed. it hadn’t shattered, but flown safely onto the sofa where taiga had been sitting. taiga doesn’t move. he doesn’t react at all.
daiki feels it keenly too, can’t taiga see? he’s not alone. sure, daiki can’t fully understand how it feels to be forced into retirement due to injury, but he’s on his way there. his body is tired and it is always sore. one of these days, he’ll land funny and never properly recover. and then daiki will isolate from the world until he can figure himself out. it will be like carving the basketball out of himself. having played for his whole life, what will be left? he comes to stare at taiga so gradually that he hadn’t noticed when it happened. he sees a strong man with a huge heart and the rest of his life ahead of him. he is awesome at cooking, maybe he’ll do something with that? he has enough money that, if he’s sensible with it ( which he always has been ), he’s financially secure. hell, taiga’s always been financially secure.
he sees a man waging a war in his mind. he sees broken pieces desperately held together. daiki sees himself.
“i’ll leave if you want me to, tai. i don’t wanna make it worse.”
taiga shakes his head. he looked, for a second, like he’d say something. his mouth opened, but he changed his mind last minute and closes it again. daiki can’t stand to see him this way. if they never talk about basketball again for the rest of their lives, he’ll find something else to say. they can’t just stop talking because they can’t play against each other anymore. unless that’s really what taiga wants, which daiki doubts.
it’s a bold move, perhaps, but he bumps his knuckles gently against taiga’s hand hanging beside them. the redhead glances between them, but it doesn’t put daiki off. he carefully offers his hand to hold, forgoing breathing lest it spark an outburst. there’s no rage this time. their hands connect like they had a million times before. daiki already feels better for it, selfishly, as if how he feels is what’s important right now. fuck, he just loves taiga so much. he’ll be fine, he’s taiga. of course he will. he’s at a low point and it’s weird to see him so lost, it’s unnatural somehow, but he’ll get through it. daiki believes in him. he believes in him with his whole goddamn heart.
taiga meets his eyes just as he’s feeling like he could just say it outright. daiki sees tired, teary eyes. he squeezes his hand. “what are you thinking about?” taiga asks quietly.
“how amazing you are,” he replies. “you’ll get through this. i know you will.”
taiga scoffs, but it doesn't sound like an outright rejection. not totally, at least.
a silence settles between them as they each think of something to say. daiki wishes there was something he could do to fix it. fix all the hurt. wrap it up in a ball and throw it outside. it's more of a distraction than anything, but hadn't that metaphor sounded like basketball? it would be impossible to cut the sport from himself. he doesn't think he'd be able to do it. this must be hell for taiga. he glances over and meets teary eyes unexpectedly looking at him, too.
"come here," daiki pulls his hand away, only to slide in and wrap his arms around taiga's waist. he hadn't thought twice about it this time. it's the right thing to do.
"i'm fine," taiga sniffs.
"then it's for my benefit," he snaps. it works, and he feels familiar arms wrap around him in kind. they stand in gentle silence, there’s a wall clock ticking somewhere in the background. cars beneath them sound like crashing waves. a siren. daiki runs his hands along taiga’s back soothingly, and notes that the form is softer now where muscles had laid careful marks of definition. taiga had always been bulkier than him, but this added weight makes the guy seem immovable. and here he is, hiding his face in daiki’s shoulder in the world’s saddest hug. he has to stop himself from kissing him there and then. as if that would help anything. it used to. enough kisses peppered on taiga’s face had always been enough to lift his mood. it’s strange to love taiga with restraint, but he will, if that is what he needs.
"you were right, by the way," taiga mutters, "I haven't talked this through with anybody."
"yeah. i'm here for you, tai. but we don't gotta talk about it if you don't want to. hell, we could pretend i'm the one who works at the bank and never talk about basketball again."
"you, a banker? that's just unrealistic." it's a joke delivered totally pathetically, with a shaking voice.
"shut up," and it's a defence without any bite to it.
“sorry about sabs,” daiki feels the words mumbled into his shoulder, feels taiga’s lips say her name against his t-shirt. taiga sounds guilty. he must know.
“don’t worry about it.”
“i heard you say in that interview that you were gonna have kids. i thought you were gonna end up with her.”
“interview?” daiki frowns. taiga breaks out of the hug and opens the sliding door. he comes to lean against the balcony, and daiki is still standing where he had been, racking his brain for what the hell he was talking about? he remembers an invasive question from a dickhead reporter along those lines, but daiki hadn’t said that he was going to? have them with sabs? he had never even considered it. really never considered it. hell no. “uh,” he finally replies, realising that he hadn’t yet, “no.”
“would you, in the future? not with sabs. i just mean, in general.”
daiki slides the door further open and steps into the cool air. he rests against the railing with his forearms, looking down and out at the city. for all that it could mean, he looks over with a gentle expression at the only person that would change his mind about it. “would you?”
taiga remains fixed on the horizon. his shoulders shrug. “i never thought about shit like that before. i think so, maybe.”
daiki hums. he doesn’t say anything. he doesn’t admit to being happy to hear that taiga is open to it, doesn’t admit that he’s always liked the idea of having kids. at least one, maybe two. being an only child is difficult, but then, the adoption process is difficult. hopefully two kids. he recalls a conversation they had had a long time ago, or maybe it had been a moment in passing that stuck out. taiga has changed his mind. back then, daiki distinctly remembers hearing that taiga didn’t think he’d make for a very good dad. he remembers, because he knows how much he disagreed. a guy like him with a heart like that? please. it’s a given.
“while you’re here, you should visit nijimura and his kids at teiko.”
daiki blinks. the speed at which the conversation was going is leaving him behind. he’d done that before, sure, but not as often as taiga. that makes sense though, right? taiga was always good at making time for shit like that. he shrugs his shoulders. “yeah, i guess. i hadn’t thought about it.”
“daiki?” taiga says quietly. when daiki looks over, their eyes meet. god, taiga’s eyes are so fucking sad. he can’t deal with it. daiki nods, taiga continues. “i’m gonna give you a word of advice. you should really think about what you’re gonna do when you can’t play anymore. i wish i had. there’s no point dwelling on the past, but if i can stop you from feeling like this, then it won’t all be for nothing.”
daiki categorically doesn’t like talking about stuff like this. his injuries will heal. they always do. and he will play again. he is not strong like taiga, he can’t just carve it out and build himself up again. taiga will be able to tell by the look on daiki’s face that he has taken the advice to heart, even if he can’t speak for the lump in his throat. when he can, after a moment, daiki replies.
“i get it if you wanna be alone right now,” his eyes drift back to the city, “and i’ll go stand on the side-lines ‘til you’re ready if that’s what you want, but if our roles were reversed like you mentioned earlier, i hope you would know to come find me.”
“of course i would,” taiga rests forwards on the balcony, mirroring daiki. their arms touch, neither move. “when you put it like that... i’m sorry i was so hard to find.”
daiki doesn’t tell him that he loves him now. not in words. he says it between the lines, in the diminishing space between his fingertips and taiga’s skin. any excuse to touch him, he makes. now, as his head comes to rest momentarily on taiga’s shoulder. can he stay there? taiga allows it. he does. on the arm, later, as a story is told, on the hand. taiga returns it in a drifting touch across daiki’s shoulders as he’s passing in the kitchen, or that one, affectionate moment where taiga had playfully scuffed his knuckles against daiki’s chin. god, it had driven him crazy. taiga is so beautiful. his hair is a little longer. the guy’s always wanted a mullet, maybe now he’s actually growing it out? his hands, his back, his thighs. they’d been friends with benefits a few years ago because they couldn’t handle being in the same room without physically reacting to it. then they’d started taking other people. and now, daiki feels that gut instinct to give taiga everything again. but he won’t. not tonight.
instead, he’ll confess his love in the respectful silences, in reassuring smiles, the changes of conversation, the nah, i’ve got nowhere to be when 11 o’clock hit and taiga was embarrassed to have taken up so much of his time. he says i love you in the way that they briefly hold hands. in the words unsaid because now isn’t the time. in the lingering glances, in the i’ll take the couch tonight. ( taiga, in his way, says i love you as he says no you won’t, you’ll sleep with me. or at least he says i know you love me, which is good enough. ) of course they sleep together. taiga’s head comes to rest upon his chest. they’re clothed. it’s weird not immediately making out with him now that all that daiki can smell is taiga. they are silent as their arms find comfortable ways to settle to sleep. daiki waits for the longest time before he speaks. he waits for breathing to even out, and grip to loosen where taiga’s hand had come to rest at his hip. and, when he does speak, it’s barely a whisper scraped through his tired, croaking throat:
“i love you, tai.”
nothing happens. taiga had been asleep. the night wears on and daiki’s mind walks through every sentence they had spoken. he falls asleep as the stars start to fade, wakes up again when taiga is getting out of bed, but doesn’t stay up. later, the smell of breakfast makes him stir ( it’s never failed before ). taiga tells him that he’s got a job at a bakery, so this bread is actually made by him. it’s perfect, but of course it is. it’s his.

To the point - 3
Pairing: au!Satoru Gojō x fem!reader Content: All the smut. Add a pinch of dom/sub, a drizzle of bondage, sweeten with pain, let it simmer for a moment. No proofing. A/N: Third and final chapter...and longer than expected.
Tumblr media
3. Point taken
I should not have done that. Walking towards your last appointment, you’re not worrying about the floofy, pastel coloured dress you’re wearing (although it’s not your usual go-to style) but what’s underneath it. No one can see it: hidden beneath the almost knee-long, flowy skirt and the silken panties hides the result of a great deal of work that you never had expected to get done. I should. Not. Have done that. But you can’t undo it.
Face glowing hot, you try to ignore the reflection in the glass door as you enter the tattoo parlour. There’s no one around at the front. No sign of other customers in any of the two small rooms...at least it doesn’t seem so judging by the lack of sounds.
“Mind locking and turning the sign?” Gojō’s voice calls from behind the curtain at the left cubicle.
A muted, little croak is the only answer you can offer aside from doing as asked. Get yourself together! The mirrored motion of straightening up, pushing the shoulders back, catches your eye once more. Not bad, if you do say so yourself. Almost...innocent looking. That, of course, would be a lie and knowing that emboldens you enough to keep your head high as you pass the curtain.
“Well, hell-ooo,” Gojō purrs at the sight, eyes travelling over your form appreciatively.
It should have been you saying something to showcase the amazement you feel: everywhere are candles and flowers, in a corner is a beautifully painted box (closed and absolutely curiosity inducing), and music is flowing from Satoru’s docked phone.
He can see enough without the electric lights on? That’s when it hits you that he isn’t wearing the usual sunglasses. Perhaps he’s sensitive to the light. Why’ve I never asked?
“Hop up, princess.”
Technically, he partially lifts you up, large hands wrapping around your waist only to slide down slowly along your thighs before guiding your legs apart and into place. His fingers are hot against your flesh, as he rests your left leg in the cradle. Crystalline gaze tracking the shift of the skirt as it falls towards your hip, baring the work in progress.
“Perhaps -” he pecks a kiss to the inside of your knee -”we should take some precautions this time?”
There’s barely enough air in your lungs to answer. “Such as?”
Gojō grins wickedly. “Getting rid of these.” He curls the fingertips up under the dress, hooking onto the edge of the panties. “Would be a shame to ruin them.”
And then you remember and you catch his hands in yours. “I...I...don’t know if...ermm...”
“So shy, princess. Well...I guess it’s only fair that you aren’t the only one on display.”
And true to his words, he pulls off the t-shirt to grant you with a delicious view – there really is no better word to describe the lithe, muscular build. He isn’t bulky, but each muscle is clearly defined and makes your imagination’s creativity pale. You’re too distracted to notice where he drops the shirt. But you do see his hands go for the button and fly of his jeans and your pussy does respond to the view as he reveals himself fully for the first time, confirming the suspicion from the night you danced with him.
“Better, sweetie?” He saunters back between your legs, each movement enthralling and full of confidence.
Nothing stops you, as you sit up to reach out. Fingertips softly trace the lines of his body and turning him around. There’s a fairly big tattoo on his back and it takes a moment before your can extricate your focus from the individual strokes (symbols) of the pattern to see that the whole makes out wings that move with his shoulders and shoulder blades. It could have been tacky. It is ethereal.
“Like what you see?” He flexes cheekily, a goofy grin banishing the rest of the awkwardness you had accumulated over the last days.
“Oh yes.”
A large hands splays over your pussy, thumb rubbing your inner thigh and sending sparks to your abdomen, your chest. Then it’s gone, and the next touch is that of the needles jabbing into your skin.
Sweet pain mingles with fiery caresses as Gojō carries your through for an hour or more on the verge of ecstasy without once passing the silken barrier and by the time he takes a break to focus completely on you, you’re a whimpering mess, begging for more.
There’s no reason to oppose him as Satoru lifts the dress over your head, leaving you in nothing but your lingerie (which, for once, matches).
“Sweet princess,” he croons against your belly, hands scooting under you to grope your ass, “you want more?”
“Y-yes yees...”
Your own hands are clamped on to the edge of the seat, hips automatically tilting towards him until he pulls away. Through a haze, you see him go and open the box, pulling out something small enough that he can hide it in his hand. Wait...two somethings.
“Can you be a good girl for me?” Of course you can, you will be anything for him. “Put this into your sweet cunt.”
He hands you one of the things: a silicone bullet, smooth and slightly warmed from his touch. There’s no hesitation as you slip your hands beneath the panties, gathering the slick on the toy. It’s not what you had expected, not quite what you need, but it makes you moan to push it past your entrance and feel it almost plop into place. It’s not on purpose when your fingers linger to stroke your folds.
A strong hand clamps around your wrist. “Did I tell you to play with yourself?”
“No-o,” you gasp.
Brilliant eyes have grown icy. “Then why did you?”
“I just...I need m- I need you please.”
He can’t hide the shrewd smile completely. “Only if you’re a good girl. Are you gonna be good from now on?”
“Yesyesyes! I’ll be good, I’ll be so good for you.”
Returning your hand to the edge of the seat, he leans in over you, hips pushing against your inner thighs and his cock twitching against your pussy. Gojō’s chest is hard and warm against yours. His lips soft along your jaw.
“Good,” he whispers, “otherwise I’d have to tie you u-” interrupted by an involuntary roll of your hips, his eyes search your features before he continues, “...oh. I see. Are you sure?”
If I’m not allowed to touch and he doesn’t do it? You nod, but it’s probably a new roll of your hips that convinces him to find two leather straps in the box, one for each wrist. He’s gentle as he ties you to the seat, whispering sweet promises and explaining how to navigate this new territory safely. When done, Gojō kisses you agonizingly slow and deep and your brain can’t help but imagine how it would feel if he was using his tongue like that but on your pussy instead. Tense and hot, clenching around nothing...and he smiles as he retracts because he knows and his cock is damp from having pressed against your soaked panties.
“Mmm, perfect,” the words are mumbled against your cleavage and then repeated as he kisses his way down your body in a straight line.
Almost. Almost there. But of course he skips where you need him the most and you have to bite back a whine as he sets to work on the artwork again.
Kisses. Fingers massaging and rubbing. Soft bites. Each sends new jolts through your body, keeping you close to the edge with no risk of toppling over. Want more. As if on cue, a rumble rocks through your cunt, making it clench around the toy you had forgotten all about in your frustration. Maybe it’s a gasp (it could be a moan) and Satoru understands the sentiment perfectly and lets the vibrations continue as your breathing speeds up and you teeter on the verge of the first orgasm -
“Noooo...”
Everything has stopped and Gojō watches your body regain its balance instead of succumbing to pleasure. The bastard had turned off the bullet and no matter how hard your pussy squeezes around the thing, it’s not enough. Straining against the leather of the cuffs, you try to reach down. Your fingers know the motions. Your clit is throbbing. Inner walls weeping. And Satoru looks at you with hooded eyed while running a hand lazily along his length.
...
The base colours are filled in and the millions of jabs with the needles has caused your thigh to ache wonderfully. It’s not enough to distract you from the much deeper burning in your core: a desperation, a longing so profound that words such as grace or dignity have lost their meaning completely. Tears are filling your eyes and dripping down your cheeks as you babble. Begging. Pleading. Sobbing for Gojō to take pity on the wreck of a girl strapped down before him.
“I love the way you sound, princess,” he mumbles against your hip, “adore the way you stutter through my name.” Adept fingers have left the most sensible parts of your body momentarily to wrap up the tattoo. “You’ve been such a good girl.”
It’s impossible to fit together a string of words. Your brain has been reduced to mush and you’re trembling with need as his lean body presses against your flesh, his raging boner pushing at the soaked fabric of your panties. And he purrs, damn it, the man enjoys the sensation of the vibration he’s subjecting you too as they travel outwards.
“Pl-ple-ease!”
“Yeah? No more playing?” Somehow, the blue of his eyes manages to pierce through the haze of tears.
You’re not entirely sure when he frees you wrists. And the surprised growl as he finally pulls your panties off could just as easily have come from miles away. Two licks is all the aching folds are granted before he maps a path up your body, marking each detour with kisses and bites that makes you whimper at the delicious sting. There’s almost no power left in you to sit up like he wants you to...but somehow you manage for long enough to wrap your arms around him so he can unfasten your bra.
“It’s okay, darling,” he nibbles at your earlobe, guiding you onto your back once more, “hang on a bit longer, mm?”
“M-mm,” you nod, happy for the reprieve as the bullet stops.
Next second, the calm is disturbed as Gojō pulls out the toy slowly, leaving you more hollow than ever. A slobbery sound piques your curiosity, fighting against the reduced vision until you see him lick every trace of you off the silicone.
“I can never get enough of your taste,” he groans, winking at you. “
“You...how do...”
No, words are too difficult. It’s not as you really need them anyways, your brain tries to remind you before losing all sense of reality except the one fact that you’re finally feeling a cock head slipping up and down between your folds. Not just any cock, of course.
“Yeah...plea-OH!”
Shock waves of hot pleasure courses through every cell in your body at the sensation of Gojō bottoming out. Without warning, your body is wrecked, taken apart and put together in a heartbeat that lasts forever as your insides spasm and the only thing you can scream in your ecstasy is his name. And he doesn’t even move, just waits for you to come down and catch your breath.
“Hmmm, we need more space, princess.” His voice is strained.
Somehow, the man manages to lift you, still impaled by his erection, and carry you through a backdoor and up to the next floor – to be fair, you’re not thinking too much about it because all you can do is hold on as each step he takes sends aftershocks through your core.
You are aware of the soft feel of a mattress against your knees, realizing that he’s laid down in bed with you straddling him. Please, yes. It’s impossible to say where it comes from – probably the desperate craving that hasn’t been satisfied enough – but new energy tugs at your limbs until your sitting upright and your hips begin to roll. Every time he says your name,  you reward him by pulling nearly all the way off and then sinking back down.
“Why’d I wait so long?” Satoru groans, his fingers digging into your ass. “Feel so...amazing.”
“Yeah? Gonna let me be good to you?”
Gojō seems to be the one struggling for words now as he thrusts up into you with each roll, trying to speed up despite your effort to keep it slow. It’s not long before he lifts you up and down by the waist, praising the bounce of your breasts and asking you to play with them. Of course you comply.
“Fuck!” He pulls you off, scrambling to get behind you and pushing you forward on knees and elbows. “Ready, babe?”
“Gimme, please.”
You're aching for him inside, a deep longing for the balancing act between the pain and satisfaction he can grant you. Breath reduced to superficial whimpers. Hands clenching the sheets. All the anticipation building up to the point that you're shaking as you feel him align himself. Deep...hard, the inner voice keens.
It's neither. Frustratingly slow, Satoru fills you again, underlining the discovery of the bumps and quivers against his length with wonderfully delicious moans.
"Wanted to do this at the club," he growls strained, "slide into heaven. Feel your tight cunt around me as we danced." Finally bottoming out, Gojō's hips stutter and his fingers hold tight enough to bruise your hips in his efforts to still you both. "Fuck, princess! You're so damn perfect, I wouldn't have been able to hold back."
"You wouldn't have had to," you whine, core fluttering at his words.
Slowly, he begins to thrust into you and for a moment the only sounds are from two sets of panting breaths and an obscene squelching. One hand trails up your side only to return via the spine, nails scoring to set your nerves ablaze.
"I think it was worth it," he purrs, "this view? Beautiful. And no loud music to cover your sounds." As if to prove the point, he rams in deep to make you cry out again and again.
You're right at the verge, the dizzying precipice begging for that last stroke to push you over the edge and fly on the updrafts – and the second before it happens, Gojō's strong arms pull you up flush against his chest and he growls into your ear to scream his name. The change of angle, the command, or maybe the feeling his teeth digging into your earlobe as he pulls you down hard on his cock has you cumming with him.
Rather than an explosion or waves, the bliss concentrates heavy and hot and spreads its blinding rays outwards until there is nothing but deeply saturated satisfaction.
You come to you senses sitting on his lap, his arms wrapped tight around you for support for both. Satoru's chest is heaving against your back, but he's still capable of peppering your skin with kisses.
"I know we got work to do still on your thigh but..." his tongue catches your earlobe, making you hum with delight, "be mine, princess?"
It takes a second before you can talk. "Is there any doubt that I am already?"
"Nope...but I like the way you presented your heart to me," you hear him smile.

Year: 1900’s
You packed what was left of your clothing into your old, worn out suitcase. You’ve had it since as long as your young mind could remember. You always wanted a new start. Especially away from this orphanage you grew up in your whole life, but new starts never come without a price.
Everyone at school was excited for you. Except for one.
“What the hell you mean you’re leaving?” Kanchan huffed.
Even though you both are only eleven years old, Kanchan had quite a potty mouth with a short temper.
“I got adopted, Kanchan! Isn’t that exciting?!”
“Yeah.. exciting.”
“C’mon, Kanchan, let’s play on the playground. It is recess after all.”
You and Kanchan have been friends ever since kindergarten. It started off with him getting the adult scissors and cutting your ponytail. You cried, the principal was involved, and you both were not allowed around each other for the rest of the school year. Then, you got put into the same first grade class. Even though Kanchan still bullied you, at least he didn’t cause any destruction to your physical features. He only would take your juice box instead.
Once, Kanchan lied and said you were an accomplice to him doing something bad so you both had to stay in during recess and write sentences. What should have been punishment turned into fits of giggles as he found ways to annoy the teacher and cause more trouble. Even though it cost you both a few more recess days this brought you two even closer.
Throughout the years, fate would put you two in the same classes. You would always play on the playground together and work on group projects. Even traded lunches at times. You were inseparable.
Kanchan pushed you on the swings as you sang your infamous lullaby. You have sang it ever since you could talk. Your caretaker would always sing it to you and the rest of the orphans. Kanchan would pick on you for it, but he secretly loved it. It always made him happy.
“Let me sing a lullaby
As you close your eyes
And as you're drifting off to sleep
How I hope that the dreams that you find
Are bright
Love, can we meet again soon in the bluest of skies?
Where a tomorrow waits for you and I
So hold me tight one more time, but don't kiss me goodbye
'Cause I know that I'll see you on the other side
I will think of our song when the nights are too long
I'll dream of you for that's where I belong
Love, can we meet again soon in the bluest of skies
Only, in my dreams, do we meet again”
“Recess is over!” The teachers called.
All the children rushed to form a single file line to go inside. Kanchan couldn’t help but fall behind as you ran ahead.
“C’mon Kanchan! Don’t want to be late!” You giggled.
Kanchan faked a smile.
“I’m right behind you!”
The days seemed to fly. For you, you couldn’t ask for any better. For Kanchan it felt like the world was against him. How could this be happening? As happy as he was for you, he sure as hell hated that his best friend was leaving. He doesn’t get close to anyone else. He doesn’t want anyone else as his best friend. He just wants you.
Kanchan came to the orphanage to reluctantly say his goodbyes. You made sure you had all of your belongings while happily humming your song.
“I get your leaving, but could you not act so damn happy about it.” Kanchan states in aggregation. It was to mask his pain.
“Oh, Kanchan. I apologize. I am just so excited!”
“I’m aware.”
You take a quick glance around your old room.
“Looks like this is what is left of my belongings. Will you help carry my stuff to the car?” You asked, sweetly.
Kanchan nods, taking your heavy suitcase and carrying it to your new parents car. He put it into the trunk and aggressively shuts it. You were saying goodbye to everyone else before you turn to him. You and him were close, but Kanchan wasn’t the PDA type. This time was an exception as you hugged him. You felt his warm embrace around yours.
“I’ll miss you, Kanchan. If you ever go to New York City one day, come find me.”
“I’ll always look for you.”
The hug seemed like years, but you both did not mind. Behind that happy smile of yours there was sadness. As much as you wanted to be adopted, you also didn’t want to leave your friends behind. They were like family to you.
You pull away to meet his gaze and you gently placed a kiss on his cheek. Kanchan was taken back by the sudden action of yours as his cheeks glowed a crimson red.
“Do me a favor and one day when you someday have a wife and a family, will you tell them about me?”
Kanchan processed your words.
“As long as you do the same.”
You held out your pinky and he connected his pinky with yours.
“Promise.” You both say in unison.
You said your last quick goodbyes before you hopped into the backseat of the car. You looked out the window to see everyone telling you goodbye. You could not help the tears that fell when you looked at Kanchan, looking sad. He stood there until the cars taillights were no longer in sight and then some. The caretaker had to convince him to go home.
Life goes on. You both live a happy life with beautiful families and homes. It took you both some time, though, as a tug was always on the both of your hearts. Some say that means your soulmates, some say it’s just a crush, and some say it’s just sadness over a friendship. You both never met in this lifetime again due to you both being so young and so far apart. You both always had dreams of seeing each other again and speaking, but it just never happened. You both were perished by the time the internet came around. Even on your death beds, some of your final thoughts were each other. Both of your children tried finding a way to get you both together, but it wasn’t possible.
Still, you both kept your promises.
Year: 2020
“Class, welcome our new student, Y/N!” Your teacher excitedly greeted. You nervously waved.
“Hello Y/N!” Said the class in unison.
“Y/N, take a seat next to Katsuki Bakugo and we will get class started.”
You looked to see where the teacher was pointing. You saw a ashy blonde hair boy sitting at his desk with a scowl on his face. He did not look like the friendly type so you did not even try to get to know him today, but for some reason, your heart raced at the sight of him. He was not your type so it seemed a bit off for you to feel this way. You decided to ignore it as you took your seat next to the blonde.
“Okay class, we are going to have group projects! You are paired up next to the person you are sitting next to. The project is due in two weeks.”
“Great.” Katsuki groans in annoyance.
You were taken back by his sudden rudeness, but tried to brush it off. You would probably have the same reaction as him if you were lured with the new kid. Plus, you came into the school year late due to the fact you just moved to Japan from New York City. It was a great opportunity for you to study abroad.
“If it makes you feel any better, I am really good at History.” You say nervously.
“It doesn’t, nerd.” Katsuki insults.
The teacher finishes teaching the lesson and the class is dismissed. You gathered your stuff about to leave and Katsuki follows closely behind you. He stops you by handing you a piece of paper.
“What is this?” You ask.
“Open it, dumbass.”
You opened up the folded paper to see it is an address and the words “meet me at my place after school.”
Before you could even question anything, Katsuki was gone. You rushed to your next class as you heard the bell ring. The high school does not give you as much time as you should have to get to one class to another.
School was finally over and you made your way out the building. You noticed Katsuki waiting at the entrance.
“Took you long enough. Got lost?” Katsuki teased.
Your cheeks went red because you actually did get lost.
“You didn’t have to wait for me, you know?”
“I’m aware, but we are going to the same place. I don’t need you getting lost and I fail this project.”
“Fair enough.”
You and Katsuki began walking towards his place. Awkward silence overcame both of you so you started singing a lullaby that calms you down. Your mother sang this song since you were little.
Katsuki stopped dead in his tracks. He has never heard of this lullaby before, but the song sounded so familiar. So did your voice and the feeling in his chest. He has never seen you a day in his life and neither have you, but the familiarity feeling in both of you said otherwise. You both have heard rumors of this feeling before, but you both have never experienced it until now.
You turned to face him.
“Something wrong?”
Katsuki shook his head no. You held out your pinky finger.
“Promise?”
Katsuki contemplated before wrapping his pinky finger around yours. He usually would have laughed or insulted someone for doing that, but this was different.
“Promise.”
