I've found Tumblr blogs on writing physically disabled and POC characters, but nothing specifically for neurodivergence.

Maybe there is something I just haven't found yet, but even if so, I think the most resources the better.

So, hi! I'm Amethyst — amateur writer and neurodivergent, and now looking for people to help me out with this project.

I could try this on my own, but I would rather have other neurodivergents with me (especially with different conditions from mine)

Here’s a request to every writer on tumblr who writes fanfics on the summer she turned pretty. Could you write an enemies to lovers Conrad fisher x curvy reader fanfic where the reader is Jeremiah’s best friend who Conrad always likes to tease because he is in love with her but doesn’t know how to show it, so all they do is bicker. He said something that she’s insecure about (he didn’t know about this insecurity) which leads her to ignore him as much as she possible can. She however doesn’t know this which is why she tells Jeremiah she doesn’t want to hang out at his house for awhile or anymore because she thinks Conrad hates her then confessions, kisses ensue and hopefully smut

Writing - Encouragement!

Writing is hard. It's difficult. A skill not many will master and not many can. It is an art, but it is not an art of the eyes, it is an art of the mind. Words on a paper that create an image in your mind not in your eyes.

Writing is difficult and you, lucky you, can do it.

You think your work is Bad? At least you are trying. Some wouldn't make it even that far. You think it's not good enough? There's no line you can cross where it will ever be good enough, so draw that line yourself and let me tell you that it is good enough.

If you keep working, keep writing, keep hoping, keep dreaming, you will reach. Because every dream and every word brings you one step closer to the stars. And no matter how long that ladder to success may be, no ladder can truly be infinite.

A Masterpiece is not some hidden standard you must reach. A Masterpiece is what you make it. The Masterpiece is you.

Go on, climb that ladder. It's not moving. It will always be waiting for you, and no matter what or who you are, it will stay firmly rooted in the ground as long as your belief in yourself.

You can't keep climbing forever, take some time to rest every now and again. You've earned it no matter how far you've gone, one step or one million.

*SLIGHT TRIGGER WARNING*

To those who still write Bridgerton fanfics and stories, I have had an idea in my mind all day, and I know that if I do it, I could not do it justice like you can.

So, I was thinking about a fic where you are not in a romantic relationship, but you’re an “adopted” member of the Bridgerton family.

(TW)Reader or OC’s (whichever you see fit) mother kills herself by drowning, leaving her child alone in the woods.

One day, whilst hunting, one of the Bridgerton brothers finds her walking all alone. The later find the mother’s body and immediately take the girl back home, where they get her checked out by a doctor and begin their search for the girls father.

Her father is never found, and so they take the girl in.

As she gets older (Maybe a couple years later), she grows a bond with the family, and is very attached to the first brother who found her (I was thinking Anthony or Benedict, but it is definitely Your Choice). Also, she enjoys wearing boys clothes, but as she gets older, they try and break her habits.

She doesn’t enjoy girls activities, and therefore is a tomboy, also making her a social outcast.

She is the light of the family, but is treated as like one of the households many helpers.

The plot could be her growing up in a society that doesn’t value her, and she has to learn how to be a proper member of society, and whilst at the same time she continues to be herself

It’s a big ask, but once again, I could not do it justice. And I’ve read the Bridgerton fanfics, and they are some of the best fics I’ve seen. Please, if someone sees this, I give complete permission for you to use this idea.

Recently, I wrote a ~1750 word narrative poem. The poem follows an unnamed narrator who is forced to play a strange card game against a celestial creature who appears to be older than time. But as the poem progresses, the narrator begins to understand that the game at hand is the least important thing that is taking place. The poem is called:

“Dead Man’s Hand”

Would Anyone Be Interested In Reading This Poem?

I’m embarrassingly proud of “Dead Man’s Hand.” My poem is filled with hidden meaning and symbolism, showing itself in the word choices, the rhyme schemes, and the subject matter.

I want to publish “Dead Man’s Hand” as a featured poem in my anthology, but I wanted to hear readers’ impressions of it first. Please let me know if you are interested in reading this poem. Do you like relatable characters? Do you like Project SEKAI? Do you like fandom? If you like any of those things (emphasis on the first one), then you might like SPECTRA LIGHT: Project NIJI! (If you're not interested, keep scrolling. If you are... carry on.)

This isn’t an ad to get your money. It’s an ad to get your support. Project NIJI is a nonprofit fanproject run by a bunch of… well, fans. It’s technically an Alternate Universe (AU) for Project SEKAI, but someone without knowledge of the game could still understand the story perfectly well, as the main cast is composed of 20 Original Characters (OCs).

Since this is a fanproject and doesn’t have to abide by copyright laws, ambitious collaborations or ideas can be accomplished more easily. This means that we don’t have to dance around more mature topics to hold onto that sweet, sweet 9+ rating.

There’s five musical groups:

Welcome TO Purgatory, a band dedicated to showing the world the truth, no matter how uncomfortable.

Sparkling☆Smile☆Stage, a group who wants the world around them to be a little less sad (even if they’re doing much worse).

LITERALLY HELL, who wants to show you that not every story has a happily ever after.

StarSuit Go!, an idol group who doesn’t believe in letting others change who you are.

Night blossomS, an online music group with questionable PR decisions who wants to reach someone.

That’s simplifying the groups a LOT, but it gets the general point across.

Now, I’ve spent most of this rambling about the project itself, but here’s why I’m making this post: We need people. Lots of them. In fact, we need:

Storyboarders

Beta readers

Music arrangers

Vocal tuners

Video editors/animators

Singers/voice actors (keep in mind that you might have to speak in another language a lot)

Translators

Color artists

Moderators (for our Discord server, and our subreddit if we get one)

List of languages that we need translators for (we need people to translate these languages into English, or vice versa):

Japanese (we need the most translators for this language, as it's the primary language. Project NIJI is set in Japan, after all.)
