Scamlords is at it again.

A few nights ago, there was a sudden blow-up in the /r/webtoons server showing a new announcement from Snailords -

For anyone unaware, Death : Rescheduled has been on mid-season hiatus since October. And it's now, and only now, that Snailords has suddenly decided the comic is ending after it returns, but readers can get an extra 20 episodes... if they fork over $1k in merch sales.

Now, this could be a lot worse. They could be threatening not to return to the series at all unless their readers hand over money. But considering it's practically just one degree away from that, it's still pretty nasty. Not to mention, the further they divulged in their reasoning around this "idea", the more confusing it got.

They also even revived their @snailordsrant account on IG which, for those of you who were there and can recall, was the same account they used to put one of their own fans on blast over some very mild criticism.

None of this makes any actual sense, for several reasons:

1.) I literally fail to see how getting $1k in less than 24 hours is worth shoving in an extra mini arc of 10 episodes if you don't even have it planned out. Why do that to your audience or to yourself? Why drag things out just to scrounge up an emergency $1k? Why not just be honest with your audience and run a GoFundMe or just say , "Hey everyone, I've run into some financial troubles, I would really appreciate it if you could FastPass my newest episodes or donate to my Patreon or buy some merch so I can cover the costs". It's really telling that this shithead doesn't have enough confidence in themselves or their audience that practically worships them that they have to resort to this kind of underhanded shit to get the money they need. I wanna make it clear that this is NOT like a Kickstarter stretch goal or anything that incentivizes readers to support their work, they're instead holding the length and future of their series over their audiences' head (which they've done before) for money. That's not an incentive, it's an ultimatum.

2.) Maybe I'm misreading / being stupid (someone pls explain if I'm missing something here) but I literally don't see how their comment about working 50 hours a week explains why they're suddenly getting their fans to pay out $1k worth of merch in less than 24 hours. For anyone who doesn't know, $1k per episode is an example Webtoons uses in its post discussing how they pay out creators (this came after the platform got called out 2 years ago for paying creators too little, there are undoubtedly creators getting paid less). And yet for some reason $1k is apparently the difference between 10 episodes and 20? How does that add up? And is the bit about them wanting to buy boba supposed to be a joke? Where's the punchline here?

3.) They say they have writer's block and they want to use the money to "motivate them", but then just a few slides later they say 10-15 episodes is what would make them the "happiest" so which is it? Do they want to write 10 episodes or do they want people to pay them to write 20 episodes so they can draw the fluff scenes that they apparently want to draw? If you have an ending planned out, why rush it or drag it out depending on how this "fundraiser" goes? Why not just write the ending you want to write that will serve your story best? Why shove in an extra mini arc that you don't even have full confidence in writing and then try to compare it to a "super expensive cake"? What are you doing? Speaking as someone who's had trouble getting motivated in the past, suddenly getting a month's rent worth of money to do it doesn't necessarily solve that, it just turns up the pressure, and if you're not someone who deals with pressure well, then you're more likely to wind up just burning out entirely rather than fulfilling that goal.

4.) The fact that they did, in fact, hit their goal just makes it all the shittier to think about because their audience is mostly made up of teenagers who worship the ground that they walk on. It's horrifying that they keep pulling these stunts with their audience, and getting away with it to boot - and Webtoons, as a company, keeps enabling it by allowing it to happen by hosting and promoting people like this.

Anyways, there's already a lot going on here that's sketchy, but then... they went and deleted their posts. At the time of this happening (as I was there to witness it all play out in real time) I assumed this meant that they had hit their $1k goal - especially as they had been showing their progress on their IG and they were already at $900 after just a couple hours - but it gave me a sinking feeling seeing them delete it because they had also been called out by some brave readers telling them that it wasn't exactly a good look to essentially blackmail their audience through their own content into giving them money.

Snailords deleting it gave me a stronger impression of "burying the evidence", especially now that they had the money. By all accounts, they could do whatever they wanted now.

So what did they decide to do?

. . . Huh?

Okay, take a second to actually think about what Snailords has done here. Because I know some of you will go "oh, it was for charity all along! that was nice of them!" but . . . I don't know about the legalities of collecting donation funds under false pretenses, but morally speaking, it's a really shitty thing to do. They stripped away the choices - limiting them to three - of what their readers could donate to, and what I think their readers don't understand - due to being mostly teenagers - is that they're tax-exempt individuals and they just unknowingly gave Snailords an easy $1k tax write-off. You really, really shouldn't collect donation funds like this without being honest, it's just a shitty thing to do, especially after you've already collected the money. It mostly just comes across as damage control on Snailords' part to make it seem like they were always planning to donate to charity, when in reality, if they wanted to donate to charity, they would have been honest about that at the start. Again, even if they wanted to do that from the start, it goes to show how little confidence they have in themselves or their audience that they have to stoop to methods like these instead of just doing it honestly.

And do you really think Snailords will actually do those extra episodes? Or donate that money? This is the same asshole who has manipulated their readers for money not once but twice, and now seems intent on doing it a third time just for the charm. This is the same person who practically sabotaged their own comic, Freaking Romance, because they apparently didn't like the romance genre and may as well have only done it for clout / views / etc.

What was especially odd - and I found this out from folks who actually read Death : Rescheduled (I do not) - was finding out that it wouldn't make sense for D : R to end in as many as 25 episodes, because apparently, the plot has basically just gotten going.

So it does seem like this is foreshadowing that D : R will wind up just like Freaking Romance, rushed into an ending that wasn't expected. And this, of course, has the people who read their work confused because D : R was supposed to be Snailords' passion project, their magnum opus, the project they wanted to do. So them holding the timing of an ending that shouldn't even be happening yet for ransom contradicts that original intention. Really, it just goes to show that Snailords has no passion, they're just in it purely for the money, to a degree that I can't even cheer them on for being a hustler because it's missing the honesty and integrity.

And of course, every single time Snailords finds a way to backpedal and take his audience for a ride, they hop right in without a single thought for themselves.

And no, none of this is to hate on the readers directly, I hold Snailords entirely responsible for this - they have an audience of impressionable, naive, gullible teenagers, and they know it, and take advantage of it every chance they get. It's why they weren't just honest about wanting to collect money for charity from the start. It's why they resorted to basically holding their own comic's progression for ransom during its midseason hiatus. It's why the deadline was 24 hours and why the posts are now gone.

Thankfully the Internet does what it does - any evidence that Snailords was trying to bury is now all over reddit, and hey, just for good measure, here's a post on Tumblr that's been sitting in my drafts for days now, days after people have already seemingly stopped talking about it. Don't let anyone bury or forget about the stunts Snailords is pulling on their audience, with a platform that they've been consistently given by Webtoons, because that's what they want you to do.

Clink. Clink. Clink.

The wind kicks dry leaves across the sidewalk, swirling them around your feet. Twisting your torso around, you glance over your shoulder as you walk. One of your red stiletto heels falls in the crack between the slabs of concrete. Pain blooms in your ankle when you wobble. The sound of you sucking a breath through your clenched teeth is the only thing disrupting the still, crisp autumn air.

Until you hear it again.

Clink. Clink. Clink.

It sounds like metal on metal, perhaps the jingle of keys or buckles knocking into each other as someone walks.

Alcohol warms your cheeks and chest despite how revealing your red corset and miniskirt are. Still, you know that the sound following you ever since you left Jungkook’s Halloween party is real and not some alcohol-induced paranoia from walking home alone at two in the morning on Halloween.

Jungkook hadn’t wanted you to walk, but finding an Uber so late at night would be impossible, and everyone else at the party had been too drunk to drive you home.

Two blocks isn’t much at all.

Clink. Clink. Clink.

The sidewalk is empty when you twist around and try not to trip again. Streetlights cast shadows across the grass that could be people. Or animals. Or monsters. Creatures of the night.

Taking a deep breath, you quickly unlock the gate that opens to wooden stairs leading to the backdoor of your apartment on the second floor. You rush up the stairs as quickly as you can in the stupid heels your best friend convinced you to wear because they’re sexy, and you both thought they might help you catch the eye of a certain boy.

It wasn’t worth the trouble, though. The certain boy barely looked your way.

For a second too long, you stall, fumbling with your keys to find the one that will unlock your backdoor. Your fingers feel numb from the cold, and your reflexes are dulled by whatever was in the punch Hoseok made. Perhaps that’s why you don’t know what looms behind you until its body has yours pressed against your door.

Sticking your hands out, you try to stop yourself from hitting your face. It works, but now your arms are trapped between your body and the door. Your keys fall with a hollow thud, and for a heartbeat, the world is silent, like every creature in existence is holding its breath.

Every creature except for the one crowding you against the door. It breathes, hot and heavy, against the shell of your ear, scattering goosebumps across your skin. You’re burning up from its body heat, the creature big and firmly pressed against every inch of you.

But what makes your knees tremble isn’t the oppressive force of this thing sticking to you like a second skin. It’s the clink and then something cool and sharp pressed against your throat.

You can’t swallow down your nerves without fear of your throat bobbing against what you guess is a large knife.

“Are you scared?” a voice whispers. Soft lips brush the tip of your ear. Then a nose, buttoned and cold, drags along the side of your neck. “You’re being such a good girl, didn’t even scream.”

Fear clutches your heart, but that voice strokes a fire in your core. It’s sick how you shiver against the man’s chest because you know it isn’t only because you’re scared of him.

“You’re not funny, Yoongi,” you say with a shaky breath and do your best not to move too much when you talk.

Yoongi chuckles into your shoulder, where he’s nuzzled his face. “I wasn’t trying to be funny.”

The knife glides down your throat at the point with not enough pressure to break the skin but just enough for it to feel uncomfortable.

“Are you gonna let me in?”

It’s not a real knife. Yoongi is your friend; he wouldn’t threaten you. Or, at least, you think he’s your friend. He’d ignored you all night, though.

“Did you seriously follow me all the way here at two in the morning just to scare me?” You elbow him out of the way so you can bend down to retrieve your keys.

“Yeah,” Yoongi admits with a gummy smile.

Inside your apartment, you can get a better look at him. His costume is just his regular clothes with a Ghostface mask, though he isn’t wearing the mask anymore. It’s tied to one of his belt loops. The side bumps against the metal of his belt when he walks.

Clink. Clink. Clink.

“You’re ridiculous.”

Yoongi’s grin grows. “Jungkook didn’t want you walking by yourself.”

“Then why didn’t you walk with me instead of following me around like a creep?”

You kick off your heels and take ginger steps toward the kitchen, the balls of your feet throbbing. Out of the corner of your eye, Yoongi shrugs. His pretty black hair falls against his shoulders and curls into his eyelashes when he tilts his head to watch you.

“You knew I was there,” he doesn’t ask, just smiles when you roll your eyes.

Catching your wrist, Yoongi stops you from crossing the living room to the kitchen. His grip on you is bruising when he yanks you into his chest. It’s claustrophobic and makes your stomach churn when you twist your wrist, and Yoongi doesn’t let go.

“I’m thirsty.” Your voice comes out as a whisper, can’t manage to get any louder. “Let me go.”

“Interesting,” Yoongi murmurs. “I’m thirsty, too.”

You follow his eyes when he drops his chin to peer between your bodies. At the same time, you feel the cool edge of the knife drag up your thigh. The tip eventually catches on the edge of your miniskirt. In one swift motion, Yoongi flicks the knife up and cuts through the thin, stretchy fabric. A thin line of blood sprouts from the shallow cut his knife makes up the inside of your thigh.

“Oh my god,” you whimper, watching little dribbles of blood trickle down your leg. Heat spreads from the cut across your thigh and unfurls in your stomach.

The dim lighting of your living room reflects in warm tones within Yoongi’s dark irises. Squeezing your wrist even tighter, he walks you backward until your legs hit the edge of your couch.

“You liked it,” Yoongi points out with a tut of his tongue, his tone condescending and judgemental. The shame it stirs in your chest makes it hard for you to breathe. “Let me press you up against the door. Mark you up with this,” he twirls the knife around, making a show of how loosely he grasps it.

“Yoongi.”

Yoongi brings the knife to your lips to silence you. The tip glistens with your blood.

“Keep quiet like a good girl for me, okay, sweetheart?” Yoongi kneels on the couch in between your spread legs. The position forces your ruined skirt higher up your thighs, exposing your sheer red thong.

You watch in amazement as Yoongi drags the tip of his knife up your inner thigh until he reaches the edge of your thong. Lightly, he drags the tip along your clothed pussy. Hello again! I liked your Dark Reader and am back with another request. :3 Since it is October and I'm feeling the autumn associations, I thought it would be neat to read your interpretation of a fox reader (like a kitsune) with the Chain. Of course with the bonus of Dark Link if able, I feel as though not many people write him. ~🎃

I know this is late, the creative brain juice has been stagnant, but WE’RE KIND OF SORT OF BACK! I also got to preface that I am not the most knowledgeable on kitsune history/lore, but I tried my best with what little knowledge I and wikipedia had lmao.

Characters: The Chain (and Fierce Deity and Dink) x GN!Kitsune Reader

A/N+Warnings: N/A, safe for everyone. Written by Mishwanders - pls do not repost. Reblogs, nice comments, and likes are appreciated!

The place where the Chain first meets you would be in Wild’s Hyrule, shifted into a fox, somewhere close to the shrine of resurrection and a few of them have different reactions based off of what they can sense from being near/looking at you.

Wild isn’t deterred, he’s used to seeing foxes. However, the variety of tails is very different from the others. Maybe a mutation? Who knows, but he gets the sense that you won’t harm them.

Time is the first to really pick up that you’re a shapeshifter and that’s only because Fierce Deity allows him to know the truth of it. He’s wary, on his guard, but you haven’t made any move that would suggest you would bring them harm. Maybe this is normal in Wild’s Hyrule, he hasn’t quite decided if it’s best to speak up yet or not. He’ll wait for you to shed your disguise first before acting.

Twilight, Legend, and Four senses there’s magic about you, but it’s not dark magic, so they’re all unsure how to approach you as well. Twilight will however be keeping watch as Wolfie to track your scent and follow you around from afar to figure out what your deal is.

Sky and Hyrule are the first ones to realize that you’re actually trying to guide them all somewhere specific. Helping them avoid certain monsters, leading Wild and Wind to find more Koroks, food, etc. That knowledge helps ease everyone else’s minds a bit.

Warriors would complain as to why they’ve gone off road versus staying on track with the map, but he’s heard enough stories about Wild’s Hyrule to know that weirder things have happened.

Once they’ve all realized you’re no threat, you are free to roam their camp at night.

This will lead to some mischievous acts on your part - i.e. stealing food from Wild’s pack (or food from a bowl if someone isn’t watching), following Wolfie to get him to play with you, pawing/gnawing onto Warriors scarf and getting chewed out over it like a child, etc.

Other times though, you can be found snuggled up with Sky, Time, or Hyrule, fast asleep next to them or in their lap getting some much needed shut eye.

When you finally guide them to your desired destination of Kakariko Village, it’s only in the presence of Impa where you finally reveal your true nature.

The ones who called it are not the least bit surprised at your reveal, but they are surprised at how fox-like you still are in your Hylian form with sharper teeth, ears, and multiple tails.

Your first true introduction to each other goes rather well with the help of Impa and once they all know you’re a Sheikah who works for Impa as her eyes out in the world, their admiration grows for you.

NOW FOR DINK

It's a much different experience. He’s actually the one to get the drop on you first, surprise surprise.

His armor is not nearly as heavy or noisy as his counterpart, giving him an element of surprise in the dark across the land of Hyrule.

At first he takes a shot at you, thinking you’re nothing but a regular fox for him to eat. It’s only when you avoid the shot just by chance and raise your tails to make yourself look bigger does he realize you’re not just some ordinary fox.

Curiosity gets the better of him (as it does any Link) and he tries to make amends for his little accident of almost hitting you by tossing you some meat once he’s gotten his hands on it.

You accept it, but you do recognize something is off with him versus the hero’s you guided to Kakariko. You keep your eye on him in the woods, only growing closer when necessary.

The one time you do grow incredibly close is when a pack of Moblins and Lizalfos chase you. He finds you hiding behind him for protection and he shoos away the creatures with ease, turning around to pick you up. Once you realize he can protect you out there from the other beasts that you find yourself staying close at hand next to him, which he doesn’t mind, so long as you don’t try to steal his next dinner.

Y'ALLL!!! when people say that self concept is key they mean: IT. IS. THE. KEY!

here's my success story from focusing on my self concept for a week! just a single week, i am in tears!!

so before, i used to brush off self concept and think that i'll work on it/get a got sc when i get my other desires, which is all wrong. i am so thankful that i let go of the old story, i used to limit myself and wasn't even aware. self concept can easily show you all your desires in the 3d, and then some!! the realisation made my life a 1000x easier.

then i read some posts and success stories that came about all thanks to self concept and i said to myself: that can be me, it is time to stop perceiving myself as a victim/bad manifestor, and i should just start focusing on my self concept! it is time to change the story.

so i started vaunting and ranting and affirming how my self concept is amazing, through the roof, wonderful, perfect, never fails me... you get the story. i didn't even visualize, didn't go into the void, didn't script. i was vaunting in front of the mirror, looking at myself and sometimes pretending i was talking to someone. i repeated that for a week, and almost every day i got some of my desires !!!

now, onto what i manifested:

1. An adorable kitten! my parents never would have gotten me a cat, no matter how much i asked them to, so i just relaxed myself and stepped into the mindset that no matter what anyone in my reality does or says, my desires are here and nothing can stop them. on the second day of the week, my parents asked me if i wanted a cat because my grandparents' cat just gave birth to three cutest kittens.

2. Perfect vision! i am someone who has been wearing glasses my entire life, my sight was deteriorated at birth due to some complications during labor, and my optician told me some years ago that there was no chance for me to be fully recovered (i had a couple of surgeries so far, and constant check-ups, it was so nagging and uncomfortable). she also told me a month ago that i should not use my phone, but nothing can stand between me and my screen time so i just decided to manifest my bad eyesight away! and i did it, but it's weird without my glasses lmao.

3. A new friend group! my old friends were closed-minded people, i am talking unsuportive, bashing on other people, but 'kind' only to others in the friend group, full of negativity and hate. i just needed a fresh friend group, so i manifested one! one of my friends now goes to the same uni as me, we start in october and it's so exciting heheh

4. Fluent in French language! i just wanted to be fluent in a language that wasn't my first language or english, and i had been studying french in elementary school so that seemed like the best option for me.

5. Money! i manifested the amount of my scholarship to double in my bank account and for no one to bat an eye at that, and for a certain amount of money to appear in my wallet daily (yes, spawning thing is so simple with the right mindset!!!), and for my parents to be rich because they deserve it.

6. A perfect dorm room! the dorm rooms my sister had been living in were just not it, so i needed to take thing in my own hands and manifest a two-bed bedroom with it's own bathroom (no communal bathrooms for me pls) in a dorm not far away from college which i share with another friend.

7. Desired body! my figure now is slim, i have 6-line abs odbwkdbajwhj i could only dream of that a month ago, everything on this list makes me so happy!! i went shopping with my mom yesterday and every pair of heans i tried actually fit me which is a big deal for me lol

8. Lenient parents! as i mentioned, my parents were not the ones to let me get a pet, and they also were very strict with my school grades in the past, and with my going out and hanging out with friends. but now, i have a great relationship with them, they are relaxed and they don't forbid me from doing anything (i literally am going on a staycation with a friend this weekend).

9. New clothes! yesterday during shopping, i found so many amazing sweatshirts, even one that is croptopped which i never used to wear, but got the courage to because who else would wear it if not a bad bitch?? i got a denim jacket, some jeans, sneakers... all i need at a discount!!

self concept makes life easy!! asf!! just stay focused on your new reality and there is nothing you can't get! have fun manifesting, and thank you cinefairy for opening my eyes <333

I'm on a two week spring break (as the seasons in my country work differently to EU and USA), and I'm also working on a business report that has to be submitted by October 13th. What better time to write than now?

I am once again truthfully sorry for my continuous disappearances.

The walk home seemed longer than usual as Bucky trodged down the familiar path, every item of clothing feeling heavier with each step. He juggled his keys, slightly frustrated when they didn't go into the lock in the first few attempts. Finally, he managed, stumbling forwards from having his weight on the door. Bucky kicked off his boots in an instant, hung up his coat and hat, and looked around for his sweet love, his sugarbunch.

A smile bloomed across his handsome face as he saw her sauntering towards him, pretty dress flowing in the cool spring breeze. "Well, hello there, handsome chap. To what do I owe you the honours?" She smiled playfully, arms stretching open. Bucky gracefully accepted her invitation, wrapping himself around her and laying his cheek on her shoulder. "There, there, my love. Come on in. Go have a warm bath whilst I finish setting up the dinner table." His wife soothed, kissing above his cheekbone.

Once he'd freshened up, Bucky came downstairs to their four-person dining table, grinning at the meal his wife had prepared. She slid down in the seat across from him and reached out her hand, taking his. "Would you be as kind as to say grace for us?" She smiled, stroking her thumb over his bruised knuckles. They bowed their heads and closed their eyes as Bucky prayed for the food, "Lord God, Heavenly Father, bless our food and our drink, since you redeemed us so dearly and delivered us from evil, as you gave us a share in food and so may you give us eternal life. Amen.". They said amen in unison, and James kissed her hand as he let go of it.

"Jamie, my dear, I do not mean to alarm you, but I read about the war in the papers earlier today. It only seems to be intensifying. And I'm afraid young American men are no longer permitted a say as to whether or not they're getting drafted." His wife announced as she was washing the dishes, and he was drying and packing them away. The mug that he was busy drying slipped from his hands, but thankfully, his wife caught it just before it tumbled down the floor. "James," she breathed, taking his hands and gently tugging him away from the sink.

"Be..g my pardon, m-my love. The reality of the situations and times that we are living in has only dawned upon me now." James breathed, exhaling once again in disbelief. "Why don't you go and get ready for bed whilst I finish up here, hm?" She hummed, trailing her hand up to his neck and laying it there against his warm skin. "Alright, my darling, I bid on seeing you soon." He smiled, squeezing her hand that he held. "In the blink of an eye, sugar. Now go." She grinned, patting his cheek.

She joined him shortly after bathing and getting ready for bed, her chest tightening as she saw his frame in the bed, curled up in fear and staring off at the wood of his closet doors. Despite being fully aware of her presence, Bucky jumped when he felt her hand snake over his side and onto his stomach and chest. "Pardon me, my love." She giggled, spooning up against his back. James held his hand over hers as he continued to stare at the door. She felt sudden guilt. Should I not have told him that? She wondered.

"I'm sorry if I alarmed you, my darling." She said, pressing a loving kiss to the back of his neck. "You did not alarm me, dollface. 'M just tired from work 's all." He said, turning to face her. "Jamie, what'd your mama teach you about lying?" She warned. "Alright, alright." He smiled, eyes trailing across her bonny face, ruminating his luck. "Whatsoever may happen with this war, James, know that I love you." Y/N smiled, holding his hand to her chest and kissing his palm. "And I you." He smiled.

She skipped her reading that night, and so did he, just basking in each other's presence. The pair had fallen in love just after high school. James had seen her at church after praying for a pretty woman to cross his path, and she had prayed for a stable rock in her life to start a family with later on. It was instant love. After a period of wooing the pretty girl, they started dating, which then flourished into marriage. Bucky, age 24, Y/N, age 22, decided that they were content with the life they had built. Small but decent apartment, church community, flourishing matrimony, James had a stable job, and Y/N was applying for several.

Not to mention, their parents were incredulously proud. They were the spoken couple of Brooklyn, and Y/N treated Steve with the respect he deserved from day one, which was probably one of the central reasons for Becky's undying love for her. The life they had built together was sublime. Until the war hit.

MODERN BACHELOR PAD RENO

It's 2 am and I come bearing one (1) gift.

This was supposed to be one of my @simblreenofficial contribution...sadly I got derailed. But who cares, it's always time for Simblreen, it’s always October \o/

This is a renovation of steph0sims' modern bachelor house - the build itself is from 2015 (oh good, simpler times..) and idk I hate modern builds but this one feels very nostalgic to me - probably the memories from featuring it in my Potter legacy - so I decided to renovate it.

THE WORD SALAD SPECS 🥗:

I know it says "bachelor" but I furnished it with a couple in mind, a chef and an author plus their cat, with space to raise a family eventually. Maybe. But you do you!

30x20 lot, built in San Sequoia.

2 bedrooms + 1 extra room + study + greenhouse/sunroom/whatevs.

3 bathrooms.

outdoor eating space + pool + chicken coop (!!).

I *forgot* to fix one of the windows in the living room (you can see it in the screenshot), just click on it and it fixes itself (the perils of moo).

I *forgot* to fix the slightly floating record player, also in the living room.

I sized down a china cabinet from Cats & Dogs with the T.O.O.L. mod, it should stay as is even if you don't have the mod. Same for the rug in the kitchen.

As you can see, I did not limit myself with packs and kits - if you don't have Home Chef Hustle the whole kitchen will cease to exist, just fyi.

I left two rooms completely empty so you can make of them whatever you want, the house is not overly cluttered so you can add your families' little touches here and there, furnish/decorate however you please. I gave you a theme, you expand it!

Probably Aspirin or Sorrow, depending on your definition of angst. I think that one’s a happy ending, kind of, but I can also see how it’s not.

7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Sailed Calmly On, I think. It’s more explicitly bright than Somewhere to Get To’s end, and (I hope) sort of affirming.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

A few vagueposts. Only maybe twice to my (digital) face! People are usually on the whole pretty nice :)

9. Do you write smut? If so, which kind?

Which kind… not quite sure how to Categorize Them? Anyway the answer is: Yes, absolutely! I guess I’d say the throughline of “kind” is a focus on mutuality, decadence of experience (indulging in a fantasy, in sensation, warmth / luxury / soft treatment), and togetherness heightening relaxation and comfort. Or maybe I have a brand of smut I’m not aware of. I’ll take genre feedback, pls chime in.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest crossover you’ve ever written?

Not good enough yet at another language to feel confident in it myself unless a character’s quoting a text or a few simple phrases I know well, but think it’s great when others do!

RWBY kind of. Middle school friends would trade notebooks in the lunchroom and write fic of each other’s show OCs.

Hard to pick. The S2G2 ‘verse is very special to me, and seems the obvious choice, but for one-and-done fav fic? I might go with End of All Octobers, which I’m still pretty happy with over five months later, and find occasionally comforting.

EHEHAHHEHAH I love these questions :3 I'll answer in the order they were asked!

I always kind of imagined Olive not having parents - or rather, their parents were mortal and didn't ascend to godhood like Olive did, and have been dead for centuries. Yes Olive is that old. To me.

I like to imagine they can do a lot with their power, but only in specific situations and boundaries! For example, they can summon and contact otherworldly entities whenever they like and travel between worlds, but depending on the world they're going to or the entity they're summoning, it places restrictions on them. In their own domain without any restrictions they can do anything they like, from summoning small items to changing the state of the moon and everything in between! They're particularly inclined towards October, and festivities done during the fall give them more power, no matter the culture it's from! They can exist freely unaffected in places that would otherwise only be available to souls, i.e. keeping their body in purrgatory. They can fly and do magic, but it's more of an arcane magic than cats' magic, less to do with portals and more to do with changing what's around them. I'd imagine they can do things like bring scarecrows and jack-o-lanterns to life! They also have a passive effect on their surroundings, which makes things fall in a more 'story-like' manner than reality would otherwise give.

I like to think they've seen everything! All endings, all dialogue, all sprites - because they've been around so long they're a bit desensitized to the shock of it, but that doesn't make it any less scary in the moment!

Olive is so fucked up dude. I love them. The headless horseman (horsedog?) myth in the PA universe was actually them. They enter a room and immediately rummage around in everything looking for things of use. Their love for everyone else is locked at maximum. I like to think they've cannibalized before, if only since they're not technically a dog and because they like meat so much.

I think all players who play the game apply to the universe. They're all parallel to each other, and Olive has experienced all of them. Olive doesn't know any player personally but I think they'd just be happy to have a helpful friend. When the player's NOT so helpful, Olive forgives, forgives and forgives again, because it's in their nature to do so.

Brownie definitely goes to frat parties. She's the kind of girl to liven the party, and goes to one or two every other weekend, just for fun. She doesn't drink but she's definitely tried it before, and she's always the one to notice when someone's put something IN a drink (nefariously). She's known for being the fun headstrong AND safe one, and other party girls sort of flock to her for socializing and safety in numbers, as well as judging how safe a person is at a glance. There are definitely some students who don't like her, but there's just as many who love her.

Also pertaining to Brownie, let's face it, she's smart. She knows how to talk her way out of a situation, she knows how to talk her way INTO a situation, and she knows how to get what she wants just through giving and withholding information in certain tones. If she had gone down a different path in life, there's a good chance she'd have been a better manipulator than Patches! I think her canon self would make a great lawyer for this purpose, since her skepticism and opinions are not easily skewed by emotion or clouded by thoughts. She'd also make a good businesswoman, maybe as a fashion designer? Essentially, she could make serious money in the world with her talents when she grows up.

Sparky is the type of guy to study well and still average at B+. He's a good student, and he definitely does his best - he's even part of the student council - but academics are not his strong suit. I think he manages to find a way to stay focused and study well in class, but it leaves him drained. The 'usually' in 'His self esteem is good, usually' pertains to the second PA game where he's possessed by Ginger, and then feels insecure about himself afterwards which guided his actions to steal the wand.

I think Angel would particularly like Bergamot tea with milk, uncaffeinated. Coco has less of a taste for tea, but when she does have it, she likes to go with something bitter and energized, with a hint of a floral flavor. Coco definitely cooks more often, but Angel knows how to make a few dishes for himself, since they have varied tastes in food.

Angel has trouble eating because I'm projecting and because he forgets to. It's part of the reason why he has low blood sugar all the time, and why he's so thin.

I think Coco's and Angel's parents died a while ago, maybe when Coco was the cat equivalent of thirteen or so. They've since moved on, which was easier for Angel because he was too young to really remember his parents all that well. They kept the inherited house and Coco's been working to keep them afloat since then.

Coco and Angel are wholesome siblings, but they're still siblings. They're very affectionate and soft, but of course there are the jokes that come with siblingness ("for now you're stuck with Angel's inferior twink body." "quit talking about my body like that!") I think they would have domestic scenes in their daily life. For example, if one of them were going to leave the house for a while, the other would say "Stay safe, don't die of (extremely specific thing)," and they'd promise they wouldn't die of said thing. Angel is a bit of a follower to Coco because of the dependancy.

Patches' mom is canonically dead, as is mentioned in the third game, and died when he was little. My basis for having his dad suck, well... you don't get to be a serial murderer by having a great home life. That, paired with how he doesn't really talk about his home life (and how when he stayed with Olive at their house for so long and wasn't worried about when he'd get home. Neglect, most likely,) doesn't pain a pretty picture.

I'd always pictured Sparky and Patches sparring with boxing gloves and padding, or maybe fencing if Patches is wanting more thrill instead of exerted force. I also think Sparky would enjoy letting off steam in that way, too. It's showcased in the games that Sparky's strong as fuck, but he's also a really sweet boy, so he probably holds back a lot of the time otherwise.

I think Angel would urge him to write anything he wants, but Patches himself would lean a little bit towards poetry and a lot into whump writing and horror. If the terrible things can't go in the reality then they go on the paper, yknow?

I think he has a good talent for writing, as well as a sense of plot and drama that he doesn't always apply to his self-indulgent works, but can identify no less.

I think Brownie would give Patches whatever is on hand. Sort of like a, "I want to kill something" "Here have a donut loser. get over yourself" dynamic type thing

What I mean by Coco beating him is literally. Coco would beat the shit out of him. Can't have urges to kill when you have more pressing matters, amiright?

It's said in the first game in a certain dialogue that Patches cleaned off the blood from his paws and uniform by licking it off. So, he probably has a taste for blood, and that doesn't just go away when you update your morals, so I think Patches and Olive compromise to have him drink when it's available. As for repurrcussions, well, I think he'd gain a bit of a longer lifespan, as well as a sort of sixth sense to vaguely detect magic.

Patches is very aware of the time shenanigans, but only to a certain point. After the second game, Olive transferred the Player over to Patches to try and speed up his rehabilitation, which means he experienced everything in the third game - but because he's not a god, the memories are muddled, and he only really remembers vague concepts. He saw the hearts during the events of the third game, but was no longer able to see them after that day.

I think Ginger was bullied the most in her younger years, in elementary school and middle school, when kids don't know what not to say. Since she was shunned as she was developing, she learned how to isolate herself and beg for forgiveness at the drop of a hat, and also how to hide the weird things about her (such as her magic). I don't think it ever got seriously physical, but it certainly left a lasting impact.

If Ginger were part of a club, I think she'd be in the literature and cooking clubs! She's stated before that she likes cooking for others, so it would probably be fitted to her, since it's both doing something she likes and giving to others.

- You and Kwazii do almost everything. Your favorite thing to do with each other is pull pranks on the other Octonauts. Specifically, Shellington.

-When Kwazii inatvertially gets in trouble, you're always right there to get his tail out of sticky situations.

-I feel as though Halloween is Kwazii's favorite holiday. So when October 31st comes around, you guys spend it cuddled up in a blanket fort, watching scary movies and pigging out on candy from Barnacles' secret stash.

-Kwazii's favorite food is definitely tacos. You can not change my mind. Tacos definitely make an appearance randomly at dinner at least two (2) times a week. And if you don't like tacos, Kwazii will give you the surprised Pikachu face and back away slowly.

- going along with the Halloween being Kwazii's favorite holiday thing, his favorite Halloween movie is Hocus Pocus. I don't fully have a reason for this other than that it makes sense to me. OR.. Coraline. Coraline kinda creeps him out, though, so when you guys watch it together, he clings to you like a baby.

-You guys go swimming next to the Octopod a lot. Kwazii loves swimming with the fish it's one of his favorite things. He'll go by himself if he has to. But he definitely prefers going with his best friend. He'll never admit it, though.

-Peso loves swimming and helping sea creatures with you. It's one of his favorite things to do with you. It makes him so happy to be spending time with his friend and also making sure the fish and other sea creatures are healthy.

-When the Octonauts go to the Arctic, his favorite thing to do is have snowball fights with you. And also making snowmen. He always brings along some sticks, buttons, and a carrot for the nose. Tweak always gives him the carrot.

-Peso doesn't seem like the type of penguin to enjoy horror movies or scary things, so his favorite holiday is definitely not Halloween. I think his favorite holiday is Christmas.

-He loves all the lights and baked goods. You guys absolutely have to bake some gingerbread cookies and give them to the rest of the Octonauts. Baking is definitely chaotic in the best way with Peso. You guys so have flour fights and then get told off by the Vegimals. (It's totally worth it, though)

- When the Octopod gets close to any kind of island that has friendly animals on it. You and Peso go exploring and pick flowers and make flower crowns for each other and for the other Octonauts.

-Peso seems like the type of penguin to be absolutely terrified of bugs and spiders. If a spider somehow made it into the Octopod... goddess bless you cause' you're going to need it. If it got into Peso's room, he would come running to your room and make you come and remove it. Don't harm it, of course. This poor penguin would die if you killed it.

-Overall, you guys are just the best of pals. And are joined at the hip and do everything you can together <3

find out what time u study best at!! i somehow trained myself to become a morning person (naturally i am nocturnal LMFAO) but during study season i usually wake up 4-5:30 or something. it feels so much better getting to 10am and u have the whole day in front of u and you’ve done most of the things u need to do, but that’s just me!! i have friends who worked best from like 11pm - 4 am

pomodoro technique — excellent for my adhd ass brain. i genuinely thought this technique would never work for me, avoided it like the plague, and then used it during a study group session w friends and Love it. (i use the flora app btw!! i feel too bad to kill the little plant so i always study to the end 😭) i recommend the usual 25 mins, 5 min break but it’s up to u <3

FLASHCARDS!!!!! i cannot stress this enough flashcards genuinely saved my ARSEEE especially for psychology!! i always phrase mine like a question, so that if you get something similar in the exam it kind of jogs your memory? anyway. for psych i do not recommend remaking notes, i went straight from class notes and the textbook to flashcards, and repeated them All The Time

past paper questions!!!!! unfortunately the education system is fucked and doesn’t want us to learn for the sake of learning, they want us to be parrots so!!! really recommend past paper questions.

for english literature (i’m assuming you’re taking literature and not language?? idk anything about language past gcse level i’m sorry 😭), i wouldn’t recommend writing out essay after essay; plan a bunch of past papers, write maybe one paragraph per past paper question. ummm idk if u guys have to include context and critical interpretations because i believe that differs with exam board, but we did, and i used flashcards for those too!! (also. please make sure u know the text 😭 even vaguely knowing quotes helps so much bc searching for them in the exam takes so much time)

for english my friends and i also used to time ourselves — fifteen minutes per paragraph so that you weren’t going on too long about one point, and you weren’t wasting all your time on one question.

study groups!! this is ONLY if u work well with other people if u know ur gonna get distracted then please don’t do all the time 😭 also for things like english study groups r sooo helpful because a lot of the time, other people will bring points to the table that u have never thought of (and u can do the same for them!!)

EAT WELL!!!! SLEEP WELL!!!!!!!!!!!! i’m so serious . if u don’t do this then nothing will go well. idgaf what time u sleep because maybe you’re more productive at 1am - 4am, but make sure ur getting ENOUGH sleep. and don’t skip meals. pleaaaaseee don’t skip meals.

i also used to use a lot of mindmaps for english, for themes / characters / context!!

for psych i also used to do blurting — writing as much as i know about one topic, going back and adding everything j missed in a different colour <3
