You thought I'd say Glamrock Freddy huh!? Well you're right: Glamrock Freddy, Bonnie, Withered Chica, Toy Bonnie, Lolbit, Glamrock Chica.

Glamrock Freddy is already enough of a dad so you just acting like a mother to not him but everyone else as well has him hyped. Y'all a couple already. Although he wishes you don't do that with everyone cuz he gets greedy... And someone usually ends up dead.

Original Bonnie isn't much for the motherly aspect as he is for the affection that comes with it. Sure he'd like to pretend he's at the top of everything but when you start kissing him he melts- and he boasts about it too. Like "My Darling loves me so much they blah blah blah" Foxy is tired from listening to him.

Withered Chica is tired. So to have someone fret over her, make her feel better and spoil her is a dream come true, she usually gets shy when you praise her but also loves them a lot. Follows you around, probably worried you'll attract attention from unimportant and weird people so she's there to protect you!

Toy Bonnie loves getting praise and affection from you. What he also lowkey loves is having you scold him when he fights too much and gets hurt/a victim somehow harms him in the process because he knows you do it out of worry. Probably acts even more like a spoiled brat. Follows you around to hear you praise him more.

Lolbit just enjoys you acknowledging his existence, so to have you go all affectionate and spoiling on him? This bot gonna start swooning. Careful tho, you do this too much and he immediately gonna eliminate all things he finds as a threat because nobody deserves that kind of treatment for you- not even him. But he loves you so much so it's okay.

Glamrock Chica just loves the how you're always there for her to treat her so nicely. Gonna start acting like an angel just so you can praise her more, especially loves your patience when you explain something to her. You have competition about who kisses the most. You bet she instead manipulates you into hating people she doesn't like instead.

Lowkey honorable mentions are any Foxy cuz they just enjoy the affection together with Toy Freddy considering he adores how much you'll kiss him. And I definitely see platonic Gregory joining in.

Lemme tell you smth: Mikey, Izana, Sanzu, Kazutora, Chifuyu, Rindou, Hakkai/Angry.

Mikey, bro MIKEY. Especially Toman and Bonten Mikey. Those two mf love to be spoiled and be taken care of. Mikey always clings to you and all but demands affection most of the time. Hugging you 24/7 as you walk. Kisses are a must. You miss giving him a kiss in a specific time and he gets all pouty = people who breath wrong gonna die. Just gets even more obsessive and violent towards others, lowkey scared you'll stop paying attention to him if you have anyone else.

Izana isn't as much about the motherly stuff as he is about the affection that comes with it. But here's the thing; once you start you are not allowed to stop. Demanding your attention and praise 24/7. Will do something and immediately turn to you so you can sing your praises. Definitely the boyfriend who would be the small spoon when you're like this then act tough if someone enters. Kicks anyone who tries getting close to you- literally, he kicks them.

Sanzu, man- the second someone who spoils him and takes care of him enters man is down for the count. Acts all tough but the second you call him over he goes to you with the utmost attention. Hoping you called over to give him praise and compliments. Another one who'd follow you around until you give him the attention he wants for the day. The second he catches someone looking at you it's on sight.

Kazutora this is a desperate man, as soon as you show just a little interest and attention on him he latches like a leech. But then you don't seem to mind? You hug him?? You even tell him he does a good job??? Kisses???? Confused boy. Then he gives in and is a koala. Probably the one who goes out of his way to beat up random people who just asked you for direction cuz he's that unstable.

Chifuyu might seem like the one who wants to spoil you but boy if you start spoiling him instead he's a puddle on the floor. Always holding your hand and hugging your arm. Gonna act like a good behaved kid just so you kiss him more. The second someone else gets your attention tho he's probably planning methods to ruin them. Only he should have your attention.

Rindou is a little brother. You bet your ass if you suddenly start taking responsibility and treating him like this he will get down on his knees and ask for marriage. Gonna act spoiled and expects you to spoil him of course. Will always request stuff and when he does something he expects praise. Still you're the only one who get to see this cute needy side of him, anyone who as much as talks to you is being beaten on the floor by him in seconds.

Hakkai and Angry are another pair of little brothers and they're lowkey the same. Though Hakkai lowkey expects to be spoiled most of the time- but when you actually DO IT he's left speechless. Gets shy and probably doesn't talk, only holding onto your hand as you walk. While Angry would do that regardless, but is probably more clingy. They're a little tamer than Rindou but will ask about stuff they can do so you will end up praising them. You know Hakkai's rich right? Gonna blackmail everyone to stay away from him- gonna beat them up too. While Angry had a menace of a brother who'd enable him to fuck up anyone who makes him upset.

Honorable mentions: Senju cuz she adores the affection, Yuzuha cuz she loves how someone is taking care of her and Shion because you put up with his shenanigans... Any little sibling honestly fits this category.

Can I get an Eddie X Reader were Eddie knew the reader was shy to ask him to dance either in prom or somewhere else (your choice!) so he took the initiative to do so and when he did as they were dancing Eddie accidentally steps on the reader foot that made her yelp then he apologizes even saying he's not really a dancer and the reader understood even chuckling about it or something. So instead of having the same accident again, Eddie told the reader to step on his shoes and the reader couldn't believe what she's hearing but Eddie reassured him its fine and even winked at her as they continued dancing and talking sweetly ~

🌸 Fools in Love

“Ugh, Y/N, why are you dragging me to this?” Eddie complained as you held his arm, guiding him into the gym.

“I know basketball sucks and all that, but we have to support Lucas!” you argued. “He’s a member of Hellfire and he’s our friend.”

“Our friend who’s gone to the dark side,” Eddie grumbled, but you laughed.

“Oh, come on, it’s not gonna be that bad. Here, let’s go sit up there,” you said, pointing to the bleachers far up.

“Okay, but first, I’m getting something to eat. Want anything?”

“Sure, can you get me a soda please? Here’s some money,” you said, holding out a couple dollars.

“Don’t worry about it, I got you,” Eddie smiled.

As you waited for Eddie to return, you spied Lucas on the court and cheered. He was doing well so far, but it was obvious that he wasn’t yet a team favorite. Jason, on the other hand, was flouncing around like he was king of the world, which made you feel disgusted. You two used to be friends, but by the time middle school ended, he had left his quiet, kind persona in exchange for popularity and a “jerk badge,” as you called it. He hardly acknowledged you except when he cruelly teased you for becoming a “freak” like Eddie, your new best friend. It was baffling to you how someone could remain so immature and become so rotten.

“Hey, why the face?” Eddie said, interrupting your thoughts.

“Oh, nothing, just thinking about Jason,” you explained, crinkling your face at the thought of him.

“Ah, that’ll do it,” Eddie chuckled. “Here’s your soda.”

“Thanks,” you smiled.

You watched the game and occasionally chatted with Eddie, trying your best to enjoy yourselves. Lucas was eventually put back on the bench, so most of your attention was now on Eddie. That was, until the cheer break. You and Eddie watched in disgust as Jason sauntered up to the middle of the court, a fake smile across his face, holding a microphone.

“Good evening, everyone,” he smiled insincerely. “Me and the guys wanted to take this opportunity to ask some very special girls a very special question.”

In unison, the boys walked towards a line of the cheerleaders, then presented basketballs that had “PROM?” written on them in neon writing. As the girls giggled and accepted, you could hear Eddie make puking noises.

“Oh, come on,” he said. “How lame is that? Who wants to be asked to prom, anyway?”

He looked over at you for support, but was instead surprised to see a sad look on your face, gazing at all the happy couples below. He nudged you lightly, looking at you with concern.

“Hey, you okay?” he asked.

“Oh, yeah, I’m fine,” you said, trying to shake off your sadness. “It is super lame,” you tried to laugh, but Eddie could tell you felt otherwise.

“Do you want to go?” Eddie asked quietly.

“What? To prom? I mean, I don’t know, I guess I should, but bothering with a date and all is just… you know. And I don’t want to go alone because then everyone will think I’m some sort of weirdo. But if I ask anyone, then they’ll say ‘Oh, that Y/N is so desperate that she asked him to prom! I can’t believe he’d say yes to that freak!’ and whatnot.”

“Any guy would be a fool to say no to you, Y/N L/N,” Eddie said, throwing an arm around you sympathetically.

When you arrived at school the next morning, you saw Eddie waiting for you by your locker. You smiled brightly at him, walking a little faster to meet him.

“Mornin’,” he smiled.

“Good morning,” you said. “What’s up? I’m surprised you’re here this early.”

“Oh, you know, I had some things to take care of,” Eddie said nonchalantly.

“Oh?” you raised your eyebrows. “What things?”

“Things,” Eddie shrugged, then stepped away from your locker so you could open it. As you did so, flowers flowed out of your locker, spilling onto your feet. You gasped in awe as you picked them up, then looked up at Eddie.

“Eddie, what is this?” you asked, laughing and blushing wildly.

“Y/N, I said any guy would be a fool to say no to you,” he started, blushing, “but any guy would also be a fool to not ask such a beautiful girl like you to prom. So,” he pulled out a bouquet filled with the same flowers from behind his back, “Y/N, will you go to prom with me?”

“Are you serious?” you replied, a few happy tears gathering in your eyes.

“Of course,” Eddie said, eyebrows furrowing. “You’re the only person I’d want to go with, honest.”

“You’re the only person I’d want to go with,” you smiled. “I was just too afraid to ask you.”

“I had a feeling,” Eddie chuckled. “So? Whadya say? Will you prom-ise to be my date?”

“You’ve been hanging out with Dustin too much,” you giggled. “But yes, I can’t think of a better person to go with, and that’s not a compromise.”

“Great!” he said, handing you the flowers and giving you a hug. “Do you mind?” he asked, pointing at your cheek. You shook your head, and he gave you a small kiss on your cheek.

“Thank you for asking me,” you said softly.

“Of course,” he smiled. “But hey, no powder-blue tux for me, okay?”

“Darn, there goes my plan,” you chuckled, hugging him again.

“You look so pretty,” Max said as she sat on your bed. You had met her through Lucas, and you two soon became as close as sisters. She had come over a few hours before to help you get ready for the big night, and to also catch up.

“Aw, thank you, Max,” you said, turning around to smile at her.

“Don’t tell anyone, but I wish freshmen could go,” she admitted.

“I know, I agree! You and Lucas would be so cute together,” you smiled, making Max playfully groan. “Can you help me with these please?”

“Yeah yeah,” she laughed as she fastened your gold bracelet and necklace.

“One day,” you said, putting on your gold hoops. “But for now, I’ll have to tell you everything afterward. I’m sort of nervous, to be honest.”

“I get it, but there’s no need! I mean, you’ll be with Eddie, right?”

“Right.”

“And you look amazing,” she giggled.

“Ha, thanks,” you smiled, smoothing your dark blue dress. “The sleeves aren’t too puffy, right?”

“Not at all, and it helps that it’s off-the-shoulder,” Max said, then glanced over her shoulder. “Looks like he’s here,” she smirked.

“Oh, gosh!” you said, suddenly feeling a rush of nervousness. “How does he look?”

“Really good,” she chuckled. “I can’t believe it! No holes in his pants, his hair is combed, and no denim in sight.”

You nodded quickly as you felt yourself blushing. You took one last look in the mirror, then turned back to Max.

“Okay, I’m ready!”

You walked downstairs with Max close behind you. Eddie was already inside, talking to your mom, both of them smiling. Your parents knew Eddie pretty well, and you considered yourself lucky that they didn’t buy into the whole “D&D is evil” lie. They genuinely liked him.

“Hey, honey,” your mom smiled. “Look at you!”

You smiled at her, then saw Eddie, who had turned to face you. He was gazing at you lovingly, his eyes wide and sparkling, his mouth open and forming into a soft smile, his cheeks a soft pink. He closed his mouth quickly, clearing his throat, then gave you his hand to take the last step down.

“You look so beautiful,” he breathed softly, making you blush.

“You look quite handsome yourself,” you smiled.

“Oh, this is for you,” he said, presenting a corsage with a dark red rose. You extended your hand as he slipped it on carefully, holding your hand after to admire it. Your dad rushed to grab the camera, taking pictures.

“Thank you, it’s lovely,” you smiled. “I have your boutonniere over here,” you said, grabbing it from the counter. You tried your best to pin it in place, but it kept falling and staying crooked. As you kept fidgeting with it, Eddie held your hand and chuckled softly.

“It’s okay, it looks better that way,” he said, smiling sweetly.

“I agree,” you replied, then took a deep breath. “Shall we?”

Eddie held his arm out for you, beaming.

“We shall.”

The music was blaring as you and Eddie entered the gym. Tons of couples had already gathered on the dancefloor, dancing close enough to look like one person. You walked with Eddie to grab some punch, and you two stood together for a bit in silence, just looking around the room and taking in the sights.

“Do you wanna dance?” Eddie asked.

“Oh, sure! I didn’t know if you wanted to,” you replied shyly.

“Of course, it wouldn’t be prom without a dance or two,” Eddie smirked, holding a hand out to you.

You walked out onto the dancefloor, Eddie’s hand in yours. He placed his other hand around your waist, pulling you in close, and you laid a hand on his shoulder. You two swayed back and forth to “Faithfully” by Journey. You looked up at Eddie, who was staring at you tenderly. He smiled softly and began to lean in when you winced in pain.

“Ouch!” you said, hopping on one foot.

“Oh my gosh, Y/N, I am so sorry! I don’t dance very often, I didn’t mean to step on you,” Eddie apologized.

“Don’t worry about it, it’s alright,” you said, smiling softly. “I’m not much of a dancer myself, so it could be my fault for all we know.”

“It wasn’t, I’m sure of it,” Eddie said. “You’re so graceful.”

“Thanks,” you blushed. “I’m good to keep dancing if you are.”

“Yeah, sure,” Eddie said, then looked back at you with a wide smile. “Take your shoes off.”

“What?” you laughed.

“Take your shoes off, please,” Eddie laughed. “It’ll be better if you stand on my feet so I don’t step on you again, but you can’t with those on,” he said with fake horror, staring at your high heels.

“Are you positive?” you asked, unsure.

“Absolutely,” Eddie affirmed.

You smiled as you ran off to stash your shoes in a corner. Skipping back, you wrapped your arms around Eddie again and delicately put your feet on top of his. You looked up at him to make sure he was okay, but his smile was constant and genuine.

“There we go. Now I won’t step on you! Got a good grip?”

“I think so,” you smiled, holding him a little tighter.

As you started to move together, you both giggled at how ridiculous you must look, but you didn’t care. Spending this time with Eddie was so precious, and you loved that you could share this moment with him.

“You know, I’ve never been to prom before,” he said.

“Really? Never?” you asked in disbelief.

“Never,” he said, shaking his head and smiling.

“Why not?”

“Well, I’ve never had a beautiful date like you before,” Eddie said slyly, yet still blushing.

“What a line, Munson! And you know you could’ve asked me last year.”

“We were just children then! Now, we’re adults,” he winked.

“I guess so,” you sighed, then looked back up at him.

“Are you having fun?” he asked you.

“Yes. Thanks for asking me to prom,” you said, leaning closer to him.

“Thanks for saying yes,” he chuckled.

“Oh, please,” you said, “any girl would be a fool to say no to you, Eddie.”

Eddie smirked at you as he leaned in, kissing your cheek. He looked back at you, then began to lean in to kiss your lips as you closed the gap between you two. You felt him smile into the kiss, and your heart felt light as you pulled away to admire Eddie under the colored lights.

“We should dance more often,” you smiled.

“Couldn’t agree more,” Eddie replied, dipping you.

“Alright chat, I think I’m gonna end the stream a bit early today.” Stated a voice I'd been familiar with for about a year now.

I watched with aching eyes as the British man on the screen in front of me clicked around and said his farewells to the viewers. I remained on his stream until the video inevitably cut out and I was faced with Wilbur Soot’s Twitch channel.

With a sigh, I turned off my phone and arose from under my bed covers. The light that had been previously torturing my vision was cut out abruptly. I decided it would be best to try and get any sleep. My friends and I were on vacation in England and had things planned for the next day. My eyes fluttered closed and I patiently awaited sleep to take me.

Unfortunately, my jet-lag had other intentions.

I became so frustrated with the fact that I couldn’t sleep that I didn’t even realize myself dozing off.

“Y/N L/N, open the damn door before I come in through the window.” The voice of Avery, my best friend, was accompanied with obnoxiously loud door knocks.

I groaned to myself, before sitting up and shaking my way out from under the bed covers. As the soft material fell off of my frame, I began to stand. The quicker I opened the door for Avery, the less money I’d have to pay the land owner for property damage.

I watched indifferently as Avery all but fell into my bedroom. Her blonde hair fell in front of her face and she let out a small yelp. As soon as she composed herself, she went right to work trying to get me ready to go out.

“Took you long enough! Celia and Parker are outside already. We have to take advantage of Brighton while most people are at work.” She exclaimed, tossing clothes out of my suitcase.

When I took too long to respond, she finally turned and actually looked at me. My exhaustion must’ve shown, because her eyes widened as her vision swept over me. She reached her hands out to my shoulders and lowered her voice as if she was talking to a small child.

“Y/N, do I need to put a screentime limit on your phone? How late were you up watching that British guy?”

When I refused to answer either question, she sighed and shook her head.

“I’ll bring Cel and Parker for a quick walk and we’ll be back in half an hour. Be ready by then.”

“Alright, got it.”

When I heard the door to the rented apartment close, I finally went over to my absolute mess of a suitcase to observe possible outfits. After a few minutes of internally arguing with myself, I settled on a white button up shirt under a brown crew neck with a skirt. It didn’t seem like anything special, but it felt like me.

The rest of the morning was a bleary blur. I started some coffee and brushed my hair as I waited. But just as I was going to pour it into a mug, Avery came waltzing back into the apartment.

“Right, let’s go!” She cheered, grabbing me by the hand.

I just sighed and gave into my inevitable doom. Coffee would just have to wait.

I love my friends, but if there’s one thing that doesn’t help with exhaustion, it’s them. By 12:30, I was essentially a zombie. Avery and Parker almost had to carry me to the nearest coffee shop.

As soon as we entered, the smell and air conditioning made me a bit more alert. I stood up and wandered to the back of the line, desperately peering over people to get a glance at the menu. Sadly, my feeble attempts did very little to inform me of my options. One of the people in front of me was so tall that there was no hope of me seeing anything over him.

I almost mustered up the courage to tap on his shoulder, but he turned around to speak with whoever he was with before I could. I had to take a double take to be sure I was seeing correctly.

His face was so painfully familiar. His brown eyes lit up with the laughter that left his mouth. The only thing that obstructed his happy face were his perfectly placed brown curls that fell ever so slightly over his forehead. His height was what sealed the deal and confirmed my suspicions.

I was in line at a coffee shop with Wilbur Soot.

Any words that we’re going to leave my mouth seemed to vanish. Instead I just stared at him, unsure of what to do. The fan part of me wanted nothing more than to ask for a picture. But the rest of me decided against it. I stumbled to the back table where my friends were sitting.

Parker and Cecilia were busy arguing in the next two seats over, so only Avery noticed me.

“Avery!” I whisper yelled at her, ducking my head.

“Somebody’s up now. Did you drink your coffee already?” She replied snarkily. I didn’t that’s time for her antics.

“He’s here-“ I managed, tripping over my own words and thoughts. “Wilbur, I mean. Wilbur’s here.”

“Oh, that British streamer boy you have a crush on?”

“I do not.” I had a sneaking suspicion that I was blushing, and Avery’s giggles confirmed it.

Suddenly, she stopped and abruptly stood up. She shot a look at Cecilia with raised eyebrows before stepping out from behind the table.

“I’m gonna go grab napkins. Stay here.”

She awkwardly skidded towards the front before sparing one more glance back at Parker and Cecilia, who scooted farther from the front of the table. Before I had time to process anything, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I spun around to see Wilbur, standing with one arm holding the other behind his back. His eyes looked down at me and a small smile played on his lips.

“Hello. I just wanted to say I really like your outfit.”

I think I internally combusted right then. But I had to say something to keep from looking like an idiot. But I panicked.

“You too.” I caught myself. “Oh my god, i'm sorry! I meant thanks. I appreciate the compliment, I swear. I’m just a little out of it today.”

He let out a small giggle that I, if I wasn’t face to face with him, would probably laugh along with.

“Don’t worry about it. You were behind me, right?I saw you leave the line and realized I must’ve blocked the menu. Sorry about that.” I watched still in a state of shock as the tips of his ears turned pink.

“No, it’s alright! I was just going to get back on actually.”

“Oh, mind if I come along? So you don’t have to wait in line alone again?” He must’ve had second thoughts about asking because he quickly tacked on the next part. “Only if you want of course.”

I agreed and we both headed to the back of the line. As we stood there, we actually managed to make good conversation. I told him that I enjoyed his content, and he didn’t seem put off by it. My earlier shyness and anxiety slowly melted away. Wilbur made pretty good company.

When we got to the front of the line, I finally ordered my coffee. I stuck my hand in my pocket to grab my credit card, but was met with nothing.

“Crap. I forgot my card in my bag, I’ll be right back.” I quickly jogged off to the side.

By the time I came back, Wilbur already had the coffee and a napkin ready for me. Then it dawned on me.

“Wilbur, you didn’t pay for this, did you?” I asked, slight guilt settling in.

“It’s the least I can do, really.” He replied, passing me both.

He opened his mouth to say more, but was quickly cut off.

“Wilbur! Hurry up, the vlog isn’t gonna film itself!” A young boy with a mop of blonde hair yelled from the door.

Wilbur cursed under his breath and shook his head. “Sorry, I should probably go. Great meeting you!”

“Oh okay. You too!”

He quickly walked towards the door, but turned at the last second.

“Check the napkin!”

Then he was gone.

I slowly unfolded the napkin to reveal a scribbled note.

Watching OOUIL

HEAVY SPOILER WARNING FOR LITERALLY THE ENTIRE SHOW I wrote down anytime I had important/sudden thoughts about stuff. Little warning, there is quite a lot of times I just simp over Simon, but what's new? There will be timestamps so you can go and look what happened to cause that reaction. notes: i hope you like this i really love college/school concepts and i was super excited to write this, also i had to search up topics for biology in highschool so if this seems too easy/hard for a bunch of 16 year olds y’know why. also yes i know in korea they have uniforms but for the sake of this they can wear their own clothes. I've been writing this all day, literally since the second i woke up until now which is 19:05 pm. I'm extremely proud of this so i hope you enjoy! texting is in bold.

yang jungwon.

the campus’ ‘it boy’. everyone knew, loved, hated, or couldn’t decide whether they wanted to be him or with him. people definitely had mixed opinions on him but it was mainly the boys who gave him the glances of evil.

they were jealous.

the kid was known for being easy going, naturally sweet to everyone and academically smart. but one thing that did tick the boys off though, were his talents. sure, there were many boys and girls in school that were nice and pretty and smart but somehow, yang jungwon just had to have it all.

not only could he sing, he could dance too.

not only could he be sweet, he could turn and give the cold glare too.

he was the definition of a perfect boy... and that’s exactly how you got involved with him. let’s just say you were at the brink of being infatuated with him.

but how could you not be? even though you two barely spoke together, when you did - even if it was only about the topic of your class - you felt like he was genuinely interested in what you had to say and it never felt forced. you always felt like he cared; no matter how boring the subject you were talking about was. it had you hooked in a second.

unfortunately, jungwon was popular. infuriatingly popular. and with popularity, the swarm of love letters and beautiful fangirls and fanboys also showed up in the picture. the thoughts of dating him disappeared quicker than you could say, “hello!” to him. it disappointed you, yes. however, who were you to dwell on some highschool boy? sure, he's not exactly the type that you’d quickly forget about the second you graduate but he also never made a real impact on your life other than some minor crush.

well that was up until your biology class.

“y/n and... jungwon.” the sound of mrs. lim’s voice boomed through the filled classroom and knocked you back into reality at the sound of your name. you look up from your hands in confusion and then rendered what she said - you were paired with jungwon for your biology project... that was worth 65% of your grade.

you weren’t exactly worried about getting everything done on time - you knew he would definitely cooperate and do what he was meant to do, but what you were worried about was messing up in front of him. i mean, messing up in front of your crush is the worst second hand embarrassment, no matter how nice they are. you put your thoughts aside and looked around the classroom, trying to find the boy, only to find him already looking at you with a smile and a small wave. you wave back before looking down at your fingers, picking at the skin near your nails. oh boy, you were in for a ride.

as the bell rings, you start to pack your things away, only to be stopped by a finger tapping on your shoulder.

“hey!” you almost feel like you’re in one of the cheesy romcoms, feeling like you had to cover your eyes from how bright his smile was.

“hi jungwon, what’s up?”

“i was wondering how we’re gonna do the project?” you thought about all the possibilities and topics. you could do it at his house, your house, the library and you couldn’t wait to decide on the subject. a small smile appeared on your lips at the thought of working with him.

“uh, what about i’ll give you my number and then we can decide after school?” you words were slightly rushed, as you tried to escape his presence as quickly as possible and get to your next lesson - wanting to hide away from the chilling glares his fangirls were giving you - which you were soon to be late to. he then pulls out a piece of paper and hands it to you before pulling his bag over his shoulder and sending you a pretty smile,

“remember to text me.”

you look at the piece of paper, a few numbers written on it in black ink. you dwell over the thought of having to text him first, but you knew if you didn’t, the project wasn’t going to get done. you thought over it a bit more and realised that your grades were far more important than some stupid crush. you pull out your phone and text a simple,

you: hi it y/n!

you put your phone down, expecting to have to wait a while for a reply and got back to picking at your food with your fork. instead, you're surprised to hear your phone vibrating on the wooden table, a notification with his name already on screen. you place down your utensil and look at the text.

jungwon: hey! so what do u want to do for the project? i think we should decide the topic first before figuring out where we want to do it

you were glad that he was pretty straightforward and didn't beat around the bush, also that he genuinely wanted to get the project done and that it wasn't you doing all the work like the previous times you were partnered up with someone.

you: what do u think about the musculoskeletal system

jungwon: omg i was gonna say lets do smth to do with the skeletal system

jungwon: ok well then the topic is settled where do u wanna do it

you smile brightly at the easy agreement instead of having to scratch at your head for hours to get the other person to agree upon a topic.

you: i mean we can do it at mine if youre ok with that but the library is also an option

jungwon: yours it is then ;)

you look down at your phone in surprise at the “;)”, not expecting him to be so bold.

you: great! tmr after school?

jungwon: cant wait :)

throughout the whole day at school, you kept glancing at the clock, anticipating the final bell to ring so you could meet your project partner at the school entrance and walk home with him. you shake your head at the thought, trying to remind yourself that it was just a project - nothing else. the loud sound of a bell ringing brings you out of your trance, as you excitedly hop out of your seat. “woah, y/n... what's got you in such a good mood? its only lunch, are you that hungry?” you turn around and see jungwon standing with a hand on his bag strap and a few other boys behind him. you lightly laugh and say, “oh I'm just excited to get started on the project... hi guys.” you wave slightly at the boys stood behind him and hear a chorus of “hi y/n!!” following and excited waves.

“ill see you later, alright?” you slightly smile as you start to walk away. your eyes widen at the yelling and hooting behind you as you look over your shoulder and see the rest of the boys shouting and punching jungwon’s arms, one of them yelling out a, “you scored! she's a cute one!”

you smile slightly to yourself and lift your head higher, walking towards the cafeteria.

finally.

the final bell rings and you pack your things into your bag, sighing in delight at the thought of finally being able to leave the building. you walk out the class and instead of being able to walk straight out like usual, you see jungwon standing off to the side and gently waving at you. you raise a brow at him, but continuing to walk over anyway. “what are you doing here? i thought we were meeting at the entrance?”

“i- um, i don't know i thought it be better if i waited for you here, you don't mind right?” he smirks knowingly, already aware of your small crush on him. he didn't find out through you, of course not. you were good at acting neutral around him - not even showing an ounce of adoration. however, one thing you weren't good at hiding, were your thoughts during your sleep. you two shared a free class together, and most of the time you spent it studying or sleeping. you didn't exactly say your thoughts loudly, but jungwon sat close enough to hear some of the things you had to say - him being a common topic of your dreams. he wasn't dumb, he could figure out that you liked him. but he also was a tad stupid - still not acting upon his already existing feelings and asking you out.

thankfully, you being his partner in the project boosted his confidence and had allowed him to create the ‘perfect’ plan of asking him to be your boyfriend.

“i-uh, yeah! i don't mind. shall we go?” you say, slightly flustered. he nods in responses and mulls over what he was going to do. screw it. he grabs your hand and interlaces your fingers together, “so which way to yours?” your eyes widen at his action, looking at him with your mouth dropped open, before getting out a chocked, “uh, t-to the left.”

“lets get going then?” he starts walking and softly smiles down at you. you subconsciously squeeze his hand and smile back, walking hand in hand with him, steps oddly in sync. you hear a “hell yeah jungwon! get it!” and a loud, “ow!” followed after. you turn around and see jay holding his head in pain and sunghoon stood behind him with a smug smile on his face, throwing a thumbs up to both of you. you turn back around and look up at jungwon, seeing his cheeks tinted a light pink and a shy smile residing on his lips. you feel a soft tug at your hand followed by a clearing of his throat.

“come on, lets go.” you follow his step, hands still interlaced as you two walk in a comfortable silence, once in a while telling him which direction to go.

“so what do you think we should start with?” you look up from the ground and see him looking at you, awaiting your response. “oh uhm, i think we should just start with getting all the info into notes and from that start making the project. i think we should leave the creative aspects like making it look nice and what not till the end because that doesn't really impact our grades so it isn't that important.” you feel his thumb rubbing you hand in soft circles and feel yourself getting warmer, completely forgetting his hand holding yours - it just felt so natural. he hums in agreement before speaking up once again.

“I'm honestly so glad i got partnered with you, especially with this being such an important project. every time i had to work with other people who weren't my friends it felt like i either had to do all the work or scratch to the depths of my brain to get them to agree on a topic and on how we should make it work.”

“i totally get that!” your voice slightly raises in happiness at his words, “i feel the exact same way. every time i get partnered with someone, i always have to do all the work and it got so infuriating always having to credit them for something they never did or the bare minimum.” you take out the key from your pocket and twist it into the keyhole, opening the door and hearing the pat of your cats paws coming closer to the door. you both take your shoes off and walk to the kitchen, your cat following behind and waking in between your legs.

“i didn't know you had a cat?” jungwon's voice forces you to look behind and find him to be crouching down and petting howl. “well, mr. yang, there's a lot you don't know about me, he's called howl by the way,”

“like howl from ‘howls moving castle’?” you smile brightly, happy that he got the refence. “yeah! i love that movie, its my comfort film,” you bring two glasses of water with you as you start to walk upstairs, jungwon following your steps. you both get to your room, opening the door wider to let him inside too.

“woah.”

“huh? oh uh, ignore everything - its not the prettiest room,” you say, slightly embarrassed at all the posters and random clutters on your shelves, “no, no! i love it, it reminds me a lot of my own room. its very fitting to you, y/n.” he smiles at you and you simply smile back, handing him the glass of water and hearing a quiet, “thanks,” in response.

“well, should we start?”

“god! finally!” you both groan, falling back onto your soft bed, sighing at the ceiling. you two had been working since the second you got inside your room until the sun had set; your parents even managed to get back from work by the time you were only one third through your note gathering. you spread your arms on the bed, stretching as you did so. your hand then hits something soft and silky. you look to your left and see jungwon smiling brightly as your hand rests on top of is head.

the whole time you two were working on the project, you both subconsciously stayed close to one another, as if you were just drawn to the other with an invisible force. even when you took a food break for 20 minutes and were sat opposite one another, your feet kept kicking the other, smiling and laughing quietly with warm cheeks.

now you laid on your bed, your hand resting on top of his head and staying there with no complaints from the boy.

“i like your outfit,” you observed the comfortable fit he was wearing, oversized black hoodie with some blue text in the corner and loose fitting black trousers. jungwon looks down at what he was wearing before looking back up and smiling, eyes slowly opening and closing, “youre tired, aren't you?” he then opens his mouth, trying to deny your statement but gets cut off by a yawn. he blushes before softly nodding his head and getting more comfortable on your bed, unknowingly bringing you closer to him, eyes already closed.

“take a nap, ill wake you up when it gets late.” he nods once again, barely conscious as he already falls into dreamland, arms wrapped tightly around you. you feel yourself heating up, both from his body heat and at his actions. you try hard as you possibly can to not squeal too loudly as you brush his hair away from his forehead and press a soft kiss in place.

a tiny smile forms on his lips as you get more comfortable and start to drift away yourself. right before being sent away to your dreams, you felt a gentle kiss being pressed to your forehead in return.

he may have not followed his ‘perfect plan’ of becoming your boyfriend but you both got 100% on the project... and a new found love.

you’re walking home from school

it’s drizzling, as always, but you know that it’s gonna rain harder if you don’t get home fast enough

even though he was undeniably weird a few weeks ago, you concede

you never got to speak to him, but you knew that edward was trustworthy

you practically launch yourself into his silver volvo c30™

he shoots a stone-cold glare to the jackass on the sidewalk and drives away

honestly, it wouldn’t take much for anyone (not just a mind-reading vampire) to know how uncomfortable you are after what just happened with that guy

your body language is tense

your arms are crossed tightly

your body is pointed towards the passenger window as your knees touch the door

tears are welling up in your eyes

it would be mere seconds until you fully broke down

you’re embarrassed, to say the least

you’re embarrassed that you were put in a vulnerable situation, like a damsel in distress

and of all people, the handsome and mysterious guy--

the handsome and mysterious guy you began crushing on

--who feels seemingly indifferent towards you swept you off your feet and helped you when you needed someone

that made things even more embarrassing

and the tears started streaming down your heated cheeks

edward immediately sensed your unease (hmm wonder why, but also who wouldn’t sense it???)

he’s pissed.

that asshole had a d e a t h w i s h

he knew you didn’t want to address your unsolicited encounter, so . . .

*awkwardly clears throat* “are you enjoying the weather?”

you did not expect him to ask that

you smile through your tears and laugh

he’s just so awkward and cute

his half-baked plan of indirectly distracting you definitely worked

you started to excitedly talk about the rain and how much you love gloomy, cloudy days

the car approaches your house after time seems to have flown by

your dad looks at you both as he walks to his car to go to work

edward smiles and waves back at him as he enters the car

you gratefully thank edward for the ride, careful not to dwell on the prior circumstances

as you open the passenger door, edward grabs your wrist

he insists on being your ride to and from school from now on

you object and exit the car

edward smirks, leaning towards the open door

“i’ll see you in the morning, y/n”

your jaw drops

and then he closes the door and speeds off

you watch him drive away and your heartbeat becomes arrhythmic

a garden of butterflies is unleashed in your stomach

blood rushes to your cheeks once more

you smile to yourself before heading inside

secretly anticipating tomorrow morning :’)
