Idk about you, but I believe that if you do annual roadtrips with your best friend just because you love spending time with them, then you can't possibly be closer than them.

Actually their friendship is so special that they have an entire comic just dedicated to the two of them being friends. That's how close they are - "Flash Plus".

For sure they're childhood best friends. The ones that grow up together and probably took baths together but still sitting in a hot tub not even six feet apart because they're just that close.

DC headcanons but you can tell who's my favorite

For some reason Wally cries everytime he eats chicken nuggets with the Titans

Not even Wally knows why this happens

It's only with the original Titans. No one else. They have a rule that says Wally isn't allowed to eat chicken nuggets when he's around them because they all hate to see him cry

Iris sleeptalks. Barry sometimes has full conversations that make no sense with her at four in the morning

Hal has a video that lasts 40 minutes saved on every single piece of technology he has. It's about Iris (who was asleep) and Barry (very much awake, but probably delusional) arguing about whether koalas are evil or not

Tim had a Tumblr blog where he posted photos of Batman and Robin that looked like they were taken from very close angles

Jason follows it. One time he was complaining that his favorite blog hadn't posted anything in years. When Tim asked him to show him what account it was, he panicked, tried to run away, hit his head and passed out from exhaustion

Jason is still confused about that, but no matter how much he insists, Tim refuses to give his secret away

Wally has a deep hatred for Dora the Explorer

The Young Justice once ran away to a different country for a whole month and refused to acknowledge it when they came back

Iris, Barry and Hal are all dating. Barry didn't realize it at first though (Hal didn't either)

None of the speedsters are aware of this and no one plans on telling them

One time the YJ were talking and Bart interrupted them so Tim turned around to face him and said “Cerra el orto” (shut your mouth in Spanish. The literal translation would be “shut your ass” but that sounds weird in English) in a really high pitched voice. Now the entire team quotes him on that almost everyday

Diana almost dropped a car on Bruce once and now she sometimes says stuff like “I should've let that car kill you” when he's doing something particularly stupid

The rest of the JL quotes it too. It is very common to hear the phrase “I wish Diana had dropped that car” in the Watchtower

Kori once blew up the kitchen because she thought something was climbing on her leg. It was her hair

The original Titans have a monthly meetup. It doesn't matter what kind of beef some of the members have with each other at the moment, they'll still meet. It's an unspoken rule

Hartley was Linda's best man in her and Wally's wedding

That's where him and Dick met

They now share embarassing stories about Wally. They're not really friends and they don't talk, like, at all, but they still send each other videos of Wally falling on his face almost everyday

Depression, just like ADHD, is something that almost all speedsters have, but it's almost unnoticeable because they always hide it, mostly using their superspeed to do it

Green lanterns and speedsters bond over starting to glow at the worst possible moments

Wally absolutely despises the smell of cinnamon

His parents's house smelled like that due to his mom being obssessed with adding cinnamon to every meal they ate, so it reminds him too much of the terrible childhood he had because of them

You can't really blame him for leaving social events when he smells cinnamon

Bruce has a video of Hal starting crying after Barry said “I think giraffes shouldn't be real” that he uses as blackmail sometimes

Barry's actual weakness is puns, he can't stop saying stuff like “I'll be there in a flash” and then winking like he knows something you don't. It's gonna get him in trouble someday

The YJ all have Tumblr accounts

Dick and Donna used to call each other the “Wonder Twins” so now Cassie and Tim are the Wonder Twins of their generation

The og Titans once followed Batman everywhere playing Superman by Eminem because he made Dick upset

Barry looks like he's about to cry all the time and he has no idea why

When the League revealed their identities to each other everyone was confused over why he was crying

It took him a while to convince everyone that that's just what his face looks like

He always looks like he's about to cry so when he's actually going to cry it's pretty obvious. And he hates it

When Wally and Barry first met and Wally started to talk about the Flash, he made a joke about how he always came to help “in a flash”. Now Barry repeats that joke all the time

Wally hates himself for being the reason why the ‘in a flash’ jokes started

When Barry makes a joke and Wally complains, Barry answers with “You were the one that created the joke, Wally. Live with the consequences”

WELCOME HOME THEORIES AND ANALYSIS! FRIDAY THE 13th EDITION!

HUH?? A surprise Welcome Home Update???

WITH LORE AND SECRETS?!?!?!

Ohohohoho! You know yours truly loves lore! And oh boy... Theres a lot to unpack here.... So buckle your seatbelts folks! I might've discovered something BIG

WARNING! THIS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE HALLOWEEN UPDATE! OH AND THIS IS GONNA BE VERY VERY LONG!

Ok, first things first, THE THEORY

I might've figured out who the main antagonist could be, and it's not Wally or Home. In fact, it has been staring at us the entire time, we've just never realized it.

I think the main villain of Welcome Home could be the spooky swirly void living inside of Home.

"WHAT?!?! This early on in story??" I hear you say! "This couldn't be possible!"

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE DEAR VIEWER! And truth be told, there could be multiple antagonists in Welcome Home, but all evidence points to this swirly guy being the source of everything wrong thats happening. Also, from now on, I'll be calling it the Entity. (Spooky swirly man sounds so silly!)

EVIDENCE 1: It makes people sick.

It seems like the Entity emits some kind of black "ink" that makes people sick once you touch it. It also seems like the WHRT knows about this too! Going into great lengths to order everyone to wear gloves.

Writing on sticky note atop vinyl glove box reads: Put on gloves before handling ANY art. Call me if we run out!

Not to mention that think ink also seems to effect anyone psychologically, making them want to discover more about Welcome Home, even if it harms their own health.

When I unwrapped the first letter, I felt it. I heard it. Open. Open. Open. I want it out. I’m going to get it out.

In the STAFF ONLY page:

Everything is so disgusting to touch. Sometimes the mail doesn't come for weeks. I want to rip into everything I have. My head feels so muddled too. Ever since I opened the envelope.

I keep getting phone calls, now. Or at least, I assume that's what's happening. I keep hearing it ringing. All day, sometimes. I check my phone and there's no new messages. I thought maybe some of the site staff were pranking me, but I tore up the workspace and couldn't find another phone that might be ringing. All that was there were the toys for the exhibit, and obviously those couldn't be ringing. But I kept hearing it anyway. The phone ringing and ringing... ...I keep digging and digging. I've poured over every recovery the WHRP has given me access to, every inch of their website, and the things I find make less and less sense. If I didn't know better I'd say everyone was coming together to pull an elaborate prank on me. I can still hear the phone ringing now. I don't know how to answer the phone. I need to answer the phone.

The NEWS PAGE also mentions ringing! (This could be the same person who has been affected by the ringing)

So many guest signatures… So many of them are trying to communicate. What are you telling me for? Do you think I can answer? What are you trying to do to me? I’m closing that guest book, I’m not playing this game anymore. The ringing is enough.

And even affecting them physically as well!

What is it, I hear you pleading! Clawing at your screens just as we have! Coughing, headaches, nausea- I know. I know. It will take a lot of cleaning, preparation, and polishing on our part, but it is a worthwhile labor of love.

Coughing, headaches, nausea.... The Restoration Team is growing sick, yet they are completely obsessed with restoring more evidence for Welcome Home.

They even know that they are growing sick, they wear gloves, they clean, they prepare, they polish the artwork over and over and warn anyone NOT to touch the ink, but it's not enough. They need to restore Welcome Home, even at the cost of their own health.

Heck, the entire page (and studio) is literally dowsed with black ink!

And it seems to be growing too...

Theres more stuff on the walls I keep hearing phones ring.

"More stuff" as if he's surprised, as if there were less ink on the walls than before. And he keeps hearing phones ringing... Its growing...

And it made its way into the real world....

EVIDENCE 2: SALLY'S HORROR STORY!

Ah yes! Some evidence from the Halloween Update! This time, from Sally Starlet’s Macabre Menagerie of Monstrous Mischief Making! Specifically, I want to analyze the "noticeable gap" in the audio, the only part where the WHRT did NOT transcript. (This was written by yours truly btw!)

SALLY: What?! No, no, and no! …It is because this town is rumored to have visitors at night… Something from deep within the forest, far beyond the hills and mountains… No one knows what it wants or where it’s going, just that it is persistent… Just that it arrives here. So many stories have risen about their origins… But I know what it is searching for. It is looking for neighbors who have stayed past the daytime, to gobble them up whole. That is why so few live here. It moved through the streets at night, but it doesn't break into homes. However, on rare instances, it will find itself with an appetite left…. unsatisfied by its aimless wandering. Even the occasional unfortunate insect that has crossed its path is not enough… Those who have lived through the night say it isn't quiet about it either. They always say you can hear when it gets closer to you. Do you know what sound it makes? I hear it. Every. Night. You can hear it too, if you listen. Especially if you wait next to your window. First, theres rustling in the bushes. Then, A scratching on the pavement and the walls as it crawls up. Finally, if you're quiet, you can hear its guttural sound…

Now, I know what you're asking. Why even bring up this little story at all? What does this story have to do with the Entity?

Context, my dear viewer. If you listen closely, the audio is too clear. No static, no nothing. This segment is also the only part where it didn't get transcripted because it was "inaudible". Which is strange, because you and me and you and that guy and me can hear it just fine! And THAT is why it got me theory senses tingling.

Plus, the story is about a monster too! Coincidence? I THINK NOT!

So let's analyze!

"…It is because this town is rumored to have visitors at night… Something from deep within the forest, far beyond the hills and mountains… No one knows what it wants or where it’s going, just that it is persistent… Just that it arrives here."

This could be talking about the Entity. We don't know what exactly the Entity wants, just that it looks like it's determined to reach a goal that we don't know much about.

"It is looking for neighbors who have stayed past the daytime, to gobble them up whole. That is why so few live here."

It feels like this is talking about the portal-like properties the Entity has. "Gobbling" up neighbors whole and sending them to another dimension, ours.

Sally also states "That is why so few live here", which makes me question how many neighbors used to live here before. Perhaps Julie's siblings, Howdy's family, Barnaby's mom? Were they sent to another dimension? Where are they now????

Not only that, but Sally makes it clear that it goes after neighbors at nighttime. And what time does Welcome Home usually update? 7 PM (*Now, this time could be different because of timezones, but the updates usually happen during the night)

I think Sally is giving us an EXACT description on how the Entity managed to break into Home.

1st, theres rustling in the bushes. Home does have bushes surrounding him.

Then, a scratching on the pavement and walls as it crawls up. The Entity could've broken into Home by either climbing through the window or through the roof.

Finally, a guttural sound. Now... where did I hear a guttural sound in Welcome Home before.... Oh yeah! Wally. <- Click this handy-dandy clip and you can hear something quite monstrous right below Wally's voice!

"Wait a minute.... Did you say Wally has a guttural voice???"

I did, dear reader. I did.... Which brings me to my next point:

EVIDENCE 3: POSSESSION AND PUPPETEERING!

Throughout our inspection of the Welcome Home website, we've seen countless times of Wally becoming more and more distressed as each update comes out.

But we've also seen a lot of inconsistencies regarding our lil' Darling! In fact, I even compiled these into a theory in which there could be 2 people hacking into the website!

And while that I still do believe there are more than 2 people hacking into the website... I don't think the Question Answerer is the one doodling. He's still hacking onto the website, but unlike Wally, he writes it out.

The last piece of evidence just proves its the same guy writing this! The Question Answerer!

I want to rip into everything I have. My head feels so muddled too. Ever since I opened the envelope. (see above)

Ok but if the Question Answerer isn't the other guy doodling... then who is making all of the inconsistent doodles??

Why, the ENTITY!

Not only are the doodles inconsistent, but even the sound of Wally's voice sound... quite off if you compare enough audios.

For example! Compare the interview audio with the newest Happy Haunting audio, do you notice anything peculiar about Wally's voice? Especially in the Happy Haunting audio? (If you have trouble finding it, compare these few timestamps below)

It sounds... off. Robotic even! It's slow, and the articulation is way different from the interview audio. In the interview audio, you can hear how happy Wally sounds! Even in this audio (and this one too), you can hear Wally growing increasingly frustrated. Yes, its still monotone, but you could hear emotion!

But the Happy Haunting audio, it's neutral. Yes, it IS monotone, but it feels like someone doing an impersonation of Wally rather than Wally actually speaking himself. In fact, the audio reminds me of the phone audio right here. It has the same pauses and neutral tone, save for the very audible growl right underneath Wally's voice.

But speaking of the phone audio.... Did you catch that?

...Do you know who I am? [The heart beat and ambience resume.] [Gasp.] Oh no. Well that’s not neighborly at all. We’ve never met before. But don’t worry. Even though you and I haven’t spoken before, I’ve seen you... Every time you have looked into my eyes. I want to know… What did you see? ...That's strange, isn't it? We definitely HAVE met Wally, not formally, but we do know about him (this fandom is proof of that!) So how come Wally is saying that we haven't?

Especially when in another audio, he says that we DO 'know him'.

Contradictory, isn't it? We can't both know Wally and NOT know Wally at the same time. That's impossible....

Unless the phone audio Wally isn't our Wally... its the Entity.

Technically, we DON'T know about the Entity. It's not a character in Welcome Home and the things that we do know about it are just mere theories and speculations. It is our 'first' formal meeting with it.

Then why did it introduce itself as Wally? WELL BECAUSE ITS POSSESSING HIM! It's trying to convince us that it is Wally, using his signature catchphrase and even saying 'I hope you saw a friend'. Besides, if you were a weird portal monster, I doubt you would introduce yourself as one if you wanted to trick someone.

And if this possession theory does turn out to be true, it does explain the major inconsistencies happening in the website! Such as the doodles!

But if you still need a bit more proof to convince ya, here's some more!

W a L L y: You won't write back Wally: You're looking for me. Silly. Silly.

I think W a L L y is our Wally! He's getting desperate, but he knows that we won't be able to write back. Wally on the other hand is the Entity, it knows that we are looking for the main big bad antagonist, and it knows. It even mocks us.

And I think we've seen evidence of these possessions before. Look at none other than the bug audios!

In every single one of these bug audios, we are in the perspective of Wally himself. But in these bug audios, Wally doesn't say anything at all. Rather, he sits unmoving, listening into the conversation whether he has been invited there or not!

In this bug audio, Wally has been listening in on Sally and Howdy's conversation the entire time!

But thats not all! All of these bug audios are connected according to the conversation between Barnaby and Home! Which means that all of these bug audios are happening on the same day at a very short period of time, which is concerning on just how frequent Wally appears to be disassociating. Or if that's even Wally at all!

If that is the Entity controlling Wally, it feels like he's observing them, studying them. Perhaps that's why the audios always cut out whenever a neighbor says Wally's name, it snaps him out of that trance and reminds him that he is in fact the real Wally!

Which brings us to our latest bug audio (and by far the most worrying one), the Candy Spider! The Halloween Bug?? Idk it's this one <-

We've just gotten proof of Wally munching on an apple. This would've been fine and dandy in any other situation, but remember viewer! Context matters! Especially if we put into consideration that that is not Wally.

BARNABY: ‘Ey, how’s my little devil doin’ over ‘ere? You guardin’ my apple for me, pal? [There is a brief pause. What is he doing.] BARNABY: Oh— heh, I guess ya didn’t do a very good job at it. [Barnaby calls out to the room] Hey! Who took a bite outta my apple? I think I see some fang marks, Frank!

Yeah that SURE is definitely not worrying. Nope, none whatsoever!

Oh boy... I think that's everything. Well, not everything everything. I still don't think the Entity is the only bad guy, just the main one! The Playfellow Workshop is very suspicious, and while I do believe Wally and Home are most likely victims of everything that is going on, I don't think I should say that they are quite innocent yet.

In the banner, they are the only two NOT separated by hearts! It seems to me that they are working together to give out more evidence to the WHRT.

And Marlo... another company that is VERY suspicious. What did their logo look like again?

A house logo with an eye in the middle.... Why does that look so familiar?

"You realize we're practically the Gilmore Girls."

"How do you figure?"

Sitting on the edge of a table in Cyborg’s once-pristine lab, Nightwing drew Batman’s cape tighter around his body. "Well, you took me in when I was eight and you were twenty-four. That means I was born when you were sixteen."

"And that makes us the Gilmore Girls?" Bruce asked as his hands ran over the edge of the destroyed concrete and steel.

NIghtwing shrugged or as best he could with his banged-up arm. "It's a TV show about a young mother from a rich family who had a kid at sixteen, runs away, and works her way up from being a maid at an inn.”

“I see the very few similarities. Hard work. Young parent.”

“The biggest difference really is that her front desk personnel is French Canadian, not British, so he doesn't make questionably edible cucumber sandwiches."

Batman let out a noise that could have been misconstrued as a laugh. “Don’t let Alfred hear you.”

“I mean, they’re not terrible, but I wouldn’t call them good.”

The conversation hit a lull then, allowing pain and exhaustion to find Nightwing again. The lab explosion – set off by Lex Luthor or Gorilla Grodd or whoever was now a part of the Secret Society of Super Villains – had trapped them in a collapsed pocket of the Watchtower. Nightwing couldn’t tell how long they’d been holed up, but it had been some time since he regained consciousness.

“Keep talking,” Batman demanded as he picked up his tablet and began to type.

NIghtwing rolled his eyes. “You know that’ll take up more oxygen, and we don’t know if we’re cut off from the watchtower’s tanks.”

“We are, but if you lose consciousness again, we’ll be in a worse predicament.”

Which was why Nightwing currently wore Batman’s cape, despite the fact that there could be people who didn’t know Batman’s identity right outside the wall of twisted metal and concrete.

Blood had already caked upon Nightwing’s forehead and cheek from a rogue piece of concrete that hit him. He pointedly ignored the limp arm that lay across his hip as his legs dangled over the edge of the lab table.

“You just had to invite me today, didn’t you?”

“Of course, I did,” Batman said as a matter of fact, not even looking up from his tablet. “Today’s our anniversary.”

“Our what!” NIghtwing let out a high-pitched laugh. “Bruce, last time I checked, you did not put a ring on it.”

“I put one on Selina.” Batman frowned at a particular reading on his tablet and tapped across the screen. “On this day, fifteen years ago, you ran the gauntlet and officially became my partner.”

NIghtwing ducked his head, though he knew it wouldn’t hide the sudden heat that rushed to his cheeks. “You remember that? You have literally forgotten my birthday five times, but you remember Batman and Robin’s anniversary.”

“Twice,” Bruce corrected.

“Twice what?”

“I’ve only forgotten your birthday twice.”

This, Nightwing knew well. “It’s definitely five times.” He lifted a finger for each point. “The latest one, the second one, my eleventh birthday, my fourteenth birthday cuz I wanted a quad and didn’t get it, and my twenty-first.”

Batman sighed, and even though Nightwing could read Batman’s face almost as well as Bruce’s, he found the distressed lines across Bruce’s forehead and the tightening of his jaw unnerving.

“When you were turning fourteen, there was no way I was buying you that death machine, and I didn’t want to see you disappointed. So I left Alfred to give you your consolation present, and Wally was throwing you a birthday party in Central City anyway. You didn’t need me there.

“When you turned twenty-one, you were celebrating most holidays with your friends, and I would have simply been the chaperone you no longer needed. So I gave Wally my credit card number and told him to charge everything to me.”

Why didn’t Wally tell him? “Bruce, I didn’t – ”

“And on your last birthday, I visited you, even brought you drinks at Bea’s. I would have given you a present if I thought you would have taken it.”

Dick thought back to his last birthday. As Ric, he didn’t even remember the day was special. He drove his cab for ten hours and then crashed at Bea’s bar in the evening, where a friendly guy named Matches struck up a conversation and – shit.

“You know what?” Nightwing motioned toward their quasi-cage. “I feel this whole situation is entrapment.”

Batman gave him a flat, exasperated glower. “You just had to say it, didn’t you?”

“I can’t let a good pun go.” Nightwing shrugged. “Any luck finding us a way out?”

“I have a contingency plan.”

“Awesome. Let’s do it.”

Batman looked absolutely pained. “I’d rather wait a few more minutes. Unless you are in need of immediate medical attention, I think I’d like to see if I come up with a different exit strategy.”

“Bruce.” It was not a whine but damn close to one. “We’ve been in here for hours.”

“Twenty-two minutes.”

“My arm is broken, and I probably have a concussion. I just want some painkillers and my bed. Whatever plan you have, do it already.”

“Hm.” Batman grumbled and then said in the lowest, most menacing growl possible, “Superman, help.”

The frustrated and annoyed look on Bruce’s face when Clark arrived was the best present Dick ever received.

Aqualad: most underrated Young Justice story

Just wanted to kind of layout how interesting his story was as I feel of the OG team his reserved personality makes him not stand out over the rest and some only thought he was interesting when playing the bad guy in season 2

Aqualad a young adopted kid training to be the next Aquaman with his best friend, and is in love with a girl. But he takes the opportunity to be Aquaman’s sidekick which takes him away from his best friend and crush

Only for him to come back in some months just to find that his best friend got with his crush…

And he has to essentially still save the day and be the hero, come to terms that he lost her due to his “job” while not being upset at them the arguably two closest people in his life

Like this is in any other medium is a movie in itself

Add through season 1 he’s the leader of a bunch of interesting personalities and was like the calm big brother of the team

Then in the time skip, his crush joins the team meaning he can finally spend the quality time with his crush he had to sacrifice before, and it’s a bit unclear if they ever got together during this time but on the mission she dies on your watch…

Not much time later you find out that your mentor/King’s enemy is your biological father so dealing with all these emotions is again it’s own movie itself

Not even going to go into the whole double agent thing in season 2 that people already like

But then one of your best friends Wally dies and you’re thrusted back into the job as your other best friend grieves his own way leaving mostly on your own

Then in season 3 he does it he becomes Aquaman he’s another leader of the Justice league everything is going seemingly fine

But does fall too deep with the secrets again…

And between seasons 3&4 he finds a new love

But all this time his first issue keeps coming back of balancing work and life which is how he lost Tula before and how he perceives to have lost Superboy until later revealed he’s fine

Idk I think Kaldur has the sneakily best story through the show in total

Characters like Nightwing adjust with each season more to fit that season's story than something overarching, and Miss Martian will always have her identity problems and so on but I feel the others weren’t as detailed as Kaldur I feel

I’m just saying you could easily make an amazing movie animated or real life about Kaldur the secret son of a villain learning under a hero and on the way has to juggle the problem of hero and villain and work and life and love or duty

You would literally just need to adjust his hero name tbh as I don’t think general audience will wanna watch a movie called Aqualad tbf

Like Garth got the Tempest alternative when he’s not Aqualad either swap that as Garth is still kinda seen more as Aqualad due to comic history and teen titans or just give him a new name as a character like Tim Drake will probably always be Robin primarily but he still has a couple of alternate names he can go by

Random but I kinda of like Tide, from Tidal Wave or Rising Tides or a play on his comic counterpart Jackson Hyde

And for visuals Kaldur has the Atlantean magic that Aquaman doesn't have so he can water bend for a more interesting power set as Aquaman is basically just super strong with no aquatic life around

Plus can generate electricity has weapons etc. giving him a mix of Queen Mera and someone like Robin

Idk I just feel that this version of Aqualad you could make its own version of the story just about him and be well received by a majority

The Welcome Home website is back let's gooooooo!

Let's just say I didn't waste any time and immediately got into it. And I came back with some screenshots.

SPOILERS AHEAD GO LOOK AT THE WEBSITE BY YOURSELF BEFORE READING MORE

First of all, when I clicked on the link partycoffin posted, I got welcomed by our dear Home who looks so adorable!

Then our silly Wally with...strange little symbols I must say

But whatever, it's probably nothing, it's just to fit the Christmas theme.

Even though Christmas was like...3 months ago or something.

Then we have this:

Apparently, from what I understand by reading it, the people behind the website got rid of the little bugs that were roaming around. You know, the bugs who leads us to audio files when clicking on it.

That's funny because there's still this one small bug below which we can't still click on it for some reasons.

And why are they acting like it's Christmas although, once again, THREE months ago?

When checking on the neighborhood, there's more of the little symbols.

As well as one in Wally's canvas

(why does this one looks like the lamp from Aladdin?)

Apart from that, it's nice seeing all our neighbors again. I missed them not gonna lie.

I took a look at the stickers and the snowglobes are SO cute! You guys should see them.

Nothing changed about the guestbook, it's still closed

But hey, there's new audios! Some little songs and records. I absolutely ADORE the one with Howdy and his family! That's right, we got to meet Howdy's big family and it was so funny and adorable.

Poor Eddie who have to deal with Julie's recklessness, even though it's part of Sally's play. By the way, Sally is still an icon, I can assure you about that. Like:

Juliette, I fell from the sky, you fell from a house...Come on! Walk it off...

Girl, never change

And Frank who is just tired of this mess lol, as well as Home who is playing the reindeer?? I have no idea how it's possible and at some point I don't want to know.

Also, Julie can hibernate. I mean, yeah, I kind of forgot she's a rainbow monster, so it's not that surprising although still a bit for me.

Anyway, everything was normal I guess, except for the little symbols that were everywhere. So I went to the merchandise section and I came upon this:

Yeah, it's Crispy Sweets but Christmas. And there's a second image with it I'm gonna take a quick look-

That those symbols are secret codes???

Upon discovering this, I tried to "de-coding" those symbols using the translator, but it didn't mean anything much. Like, it was just random letters and not words. I tried to use the letters in the website link to see if it could bring me to some secret dark page like the site is known for, but nothing.

I don't know about you, but there HAVE to be something with those codes. I can feel there's something in it but I can't tell what exactly.

Interesting thing, remember the Aladdin lamp? This symbol translate to the letter "W".

"W" for "Wally"...huh...

Well I guess Wally sure likes to mention himself huh, the little silly guy.

But wait, there's more.

I went to the News section and this is what it says:

Yeah they literally kicked poor Wally out of the website lol

I mean not gonna lie after the mess he did last time, especially with the stickers...

I don't know about you, but doesn't it sounds strange?

Like, how can you still assume we're in December while three months have passed? Like, how can you not realize it? How did you not notice that time have passed?

Common mistake or not, it's sure is strange. Are they okay?

Also, I wanted to add that I wanted to keep Dick’s significant other nameless since I love Kory and Barbara and I didn’t want to involve them in this angsty love story.

Y/n L/n and Dick Grayson were two peas in a pot, they did everything together. Before they revealed their secret identity to each other, they were the best of friends in school. So when Robin invited V/n to join Young Justice she quickly agreed, trusting the boy immediately, there was something about that radiated comfort and familiarity. It wasn’t like Robin was a complete stranger to her, yes at the time she didn’t know Dick and Robin were the same person but they had known each other by their alias because both of them were sidekicks to the biggest vigilantes in Gotham City. So either way It was like in every world, every scenario, every life, Y/n L/n and Dick Grayson were destined for each other.

Everyone knew it, the team knew it, their families knew it, hell even the justice league knew that they were made for each other. So not only were they as close as ever in their “normal” life but they were being the perfect duo in their vigilante life too. As time passed by and Dick started trusting V/n more and more he decided to tell her the truth.

Y/n sat on the comfy couch in Mount Justice waiting for Wally to come back with the buttery popcorn. Her eyes were placed on the tv in front of her that was playing a rerun of one of her and Wally’s favorite reality shows. Dick had decided half way through that he was going to join his friends. Because one, he really wanted to talk to Y/n and two, he had nothing better to do.

This surprised Y/n, because she knew Dick despised watching reality tv, especially that show, he had told her a million times that he preferred stabbing his eyes than watching that show for a minute. He even added dramatically that the Joker should buy a big ass tv and play reruns of the show and it would be a better success that whatever he was doing now. So having Dick next to her with cross arms glaring at the tv was something new to her, that’s when she started to suspect that he wanted something.

Y/n’s eyes trailed towards Dick’s leg watching as he anxiously jump his feet up and down made her go insane.

“What do you want, Robin? You’re Literally driving me insane with your legs' ' Y/n exclaimed turning down the volume of the tv placing her full attention on Dick, which quickly stopped moving his leg paying his attention towards her a goofy grin placed on his lips in an attempt to ease the mood.

“Hey! I thought we said coworkers shouldn’t be flirting with each other, we need to be civil. But if it bothers you that much I let it slide since you decided to compliment my legs”

“The line between love and hate is really thin when it comes to you. You know that, right?” Y/n responded rolling her eyes behind her mask.Dick holds onto his laugh making Y/n even more annoyed and anxious.

“You’ve always asked me if I was hiding something ugly behind these glasses” Dick said looking at his friend from his side of the couch.

“I still believe you're hiding something pal and also I wasn’t asking, I was telling you. If I don’t have evidence to prove my theory wrong, you��ll still be ugly face” She responded while taking a sip of her drink.

“Well, let’s prove your theory then” Dick said, pulling down the glasses placed on his nose. Y/n felt her drink slip out of her hand which Dick reacted quickly by grabbing it. “Well I guess I wasn’t that ugly, I told you I tend to have that reaction on people”

After that day Y/n and Dick found themselves closer than ever, not only as friends in real life but also in their nightlife. It was like that little detail pushed their relationship to another level. But as time passed by Y/n felt herself noticing a new feeling towards his friend, a different kind of love. Everytime she would train with Dick she would find herself blushing and giggling. On the other hand, Dick started noticing Y/n’s different approach in their relationship making him content with her feelings. He had caught on to his crush on Y/n about two years ago but now his feelings were stronger than ever.

“You know I was trained by one of the greatest detectives in Gotham” Dick responded when Y/n slammed him against the foam mat while they were training for combat alone.

“Yet I have you pinned down. It’s quite sad that after all that knowledge I’m still beating your ass” She said looking down at him, their faces a few inches away from each other.

“Have you ever thought I let you win?” He said, raising an eyebrow at her.

“Let's imagine that you do let me win everytime we fight. Why do you do it then?” She said doing his actions.

“Because you look beautiful in this angle” Dick said, resting his hand on her cheek and leaning in for a kiss. Y/n followed his actions making their lips one and the rest was history.

February, the flowers weren’t even wilted but Dick and Y/n laid on the grass talking about their future and what direction their relationship was going.

“I could see myself living a life with you. You and me, possibly two little is ruining around while we grow old together” Dick said while playing softly with Y/n’s hair, now and then picking out a flower of her hair.

“Don’t you think that’s a little corny?” Y/n said, huffing a giggle. Which made Dick roll his eyes.

“Maybe my girlfriend makes me corny,” Dick said, pulling her closer to him. Y/n took in his earned nuzzling into him as much as he could. Both of them melted into each other and touched all the stress, all the pain, all the evil surrounding them melted just by sensing each other's presence. The comfortable silence surrounded them, no one’s dated to interrupt the little moment they were having. The team stared in awe watching as the two laid together as a puzzle piece.

“You know, I wouldn’t mind spending my forever with you, Dick” Y/n responded looking at Dick, breaking the silence between them.

“I wouldn’t mind spending my forever with you, Y/n”

Y/n let out a nervous sigh while resting her body over the edge of one of the tallest buildings in Gotham. She looked down below waiting for something to happen so she could get the bad anxious feeling surrounding her body. Part of her sensed that something was going to happen but she didn’t know what and the fear of not knowing was eating her alive. But there she was, like every other day, fighting crime like her life depended on it. Never did it cross her mind that her death was going to be caused by one of the people she loved most.

Y/n looked around her breathing levels going insane watching as Dick pointed a gun in front of her. It was her personal hell, something she never thought she was going to experience. The love of her life holding a gun at her. She didn’t blame Dick, he was confused and under pressure. Y/n looked around looking at all the copies of herself that surrounded her. After giving Dick five minutes to decide which one was the real Y/n, he had to pull the trigger and the trigger was going to land on the wrong one.

Y/n knew it was the end for her. All the memories and things she planned for the future in a few seconds were going to disappear, with a blink of an eye, the life that she planned with Dick was going to end, and he was going to be the cause of all of it. She felt her eyes start to water and when her eyes turned to Dicks for a second and that’s when he noticed he had made a mistake. The eyes he once fell in love with were full of fear and sadness, a new thing he had never seen before.

Death wasn’t a new thing in Dick Grayson’s life, his mom and his dad, Jason, but Y/n was something different. There was a new energy inside of him when he saw the love of his life being buried eight feet underground. He would blame himself on the daily, if it weren’t for me Y/n would still be alive. He had to live with the guilt that he picked her instead of all the fake copies, all those years of training, all those years of saying he knew Y/n like no one else was for nothing.

Y/n L/n was dead, and it was all Dick Grayson’s fault.

But what no one expected was to see Y/n L/n outside of Dick’s house, on a mid November five years later. A loud knock on his safe house door made Dick jump off his bed and run towards the door. He held onto a knife and opened the door slowly and with the view in front of him made him lose his grip on the knife. Dick looked at her in disbelief, after years of blaming himself for Y/n death, there she was all grown up. Y/n looked up at Dick with the same eyes he had fallen in love with. It was like meeting love again, but this time it felt different. Like she had a familiarity but still was a stranger at the same time.

After experiencing a year ago the resuscitation of Jason Todd, nothing for Dick was impossible in his head. His dead ex girlfriend was the least of his problems, because for all he knew Y/n L/n died loving him so she might still think they’re in a relationship together.

Dick let Y/n wrap her body with a warm blanket. Y/n for a moment calmed herself feeling the familiarity coming from Dick. All the things that surrounded her changed and change was scary but Dick Grayson was still the same person she fell in love with.

Dick led her to the kitchen counter resting a cup of coffee in front of her. Y/n slowly reached for it and took a huge sip quickly regretting it noticing the cold drink. Her eyes trailed towards a half naked girl, wearing what she assumed was one of Dick’s shirts. She felt her heart drop and all she could do was stare at the girl.

“Dick? Who 's this?” The mysterious girl asked, looking at Y/n and and down. Noticing the dirt she had all over her body, she quickly pitied the poor girl.

“She’s an old friend of Jason that decided to come around. Don’t worry about her.” Dick responded leaving the girl agape

An old friend of Jason’s? Was that the only thing she was to him? After all they went through. Hell, After all he put her through he's calling her, her brother’s Best Friend. Y/n had yet to say a word to Dick and with the expression on her face Dick didn’t need her to talk to know what was happening.

“Go to bed don’t worry about it” DIck said pulling her into a hug and for instance Y/n had a moment. Like her eyes were open and she saw the truth behind everything that was happening. The girl in Dick’s arms was a carbon copy of her.

Dick Grayson had moved on, all Y/n could do was sit back and look at the love of her life, fall in love and do the things they used to dream of doing with another girl. Seeing them together was a constant reminder that Y/n had died and she could never heal from that. Everyone had moved on, but she stayed there. Dick Grayson loved his girlfriend and it hurt Y/n to hear those words come out from his lips.

“So, there’s no chance for us?” Y/n said looking up from the table in front of her. She didn’t dare to look at Dick in the eyes. She didn’t want to see the truth behind his voice, she couldn’t handle it, not right now.

“They will never be an us. There’s no us in this life, Y/n. We grew up, the day you died, I continued living. I really can’t do anything about it” Dick said without a doubt, which made Y/n’s world crumble if it was even possible to do more damage to a person that was already broken.

It pained her to hear those words come out of Dicks mouth. It drove her on the verge of insanity, but if Dick could move on and live a life without her so could she. She had another chance at living and she couldn’t waste it thinking about what could’ve happened with Dick if she never died.

“So D/G/N, where are you from?” Y/n said, trying to break the awkward silence between them. They team had left for a mission leaving the two behind, much to Dick liking.

“I’m from Blüdhaven. Born and raised here. That’s why Dick and decided to settle down here” She responded with a small smile.

Was it really necessary to point out that she was living with Dick? But Blüdhaven? Dick hated Blüdhaven, he had told her so many times how much he hated it there. That he would much rather spend his time at Gotham with her, She was the light Gotham needed. If he was with her, he wouldn’t leave Gotham, It was Y/n and Dick against the world. But now it was D/G/N and Dick against Blüdhaven.

Y/n felt herself being consumed on a loop of sadness. She desperately tried to cry for help to get out, but no one would hear her. Part of her wanted for Dick to come out and pull her to reality but she knew it was impossible. There was one person that could understand everything that Y/n was going through. Someone that was constantly leaving that dark whole Y/n was suffocating in. That’s when Y/n found her solution, the answer to all her problems.

Jason Todd.

Jason had literally gone to hell and back. He came back to a world that moved on without him, just like Y/n. It was like they could bond over the fact that they spent five years of their life eight feet underground like it was a conversation about which coffee was the best.

Jason Todd was something Y/n needed, human. He had a humanity and sensibility she desperately needed a hold of. When she came back to life all she could see was change after change but with Jason she felt calm, she felt patience radiating off him. Both of them had a connection, they knew it, but someone else was also aware of that and he hated it.

Dick Grayson.

He noticed the exchange of giggles, the book recommendation shared at the dinner table or the constant exchange of eye glances when something happened around them. Their inside jokes, Everything drove him insane. He couldn’t see her fall for someone else, let alone his brother. He kept pushing his feelings and his rage aside but what pushed him on the edge was when Y/n decided to move in with her “best friend” Jason Todd.

“Bruce, how the hell would you let those two live together, in that house specifically. You’re a billionaire for fucks sakes. Why couldn’t you buy them a new place or something” Dick exclaimed loudy following Bruce around the Wayne Manor. The older man rolled his eyes at Dick antics and turned around to face him.

“Y/n needed a place to stay, Dick. I suggested several places and she picked that one. Do you really think Jason would ask me for a favor? Now please let me do my work in peace” Bruce responded, pinching the bridge of his nose.

“You knew how special that apartment was for us, all the memories we made and you gave it to them like nothing? please Bruce” Dick cried angrily looking at Bruce.

“Maybe it’s time for something new to create new memories”

Living in that house was something they had always dreamed of doing. Dick could remember all the times they would steal Bruce’s keys and spend the night at the apartament. He hated it, Dick hated it so much. But Dick couldn’t hate you for that, you were getting everything you wanted, everything he thought he was going to live with you, you were living it with his brother.

“You know J, I truly believe we are soulmates. It feels like we had matching wounds”

“Please, If we have matching bruises mine are still black and bruised and yours are perfectly fine” Jason knew, he knew he could never be Dick. As much as he tried Dick would always be number one in her heart.

Jason and Y/n weren’t really anything. Y/n did love him but never the way he loved Dick. Dick Grayson literally killed the girl and she still loved him. It pained her to admit it but Dick Grayson still drove her insane, like the first day they met at school. Her heart would still turn into pouty while Dick smiled her way. But Dick already found someone to miss and that person wasn’t her. Y/n’s thoughts were broken by a cough breaking the silence.

“I like what you did with the place” Dick responded smiling at her leaning against the door frame.

“Who let you do it?” She asked, confused looking around knowing well that Jason was patrolling that night.

“I found the key under the mat. You should find a new hiding spot, a psychopath could easily enter your apartment without you even knowing” Dick said, coming more into view. The faint background noise coming from the tv echoing in his ears.

“If a psychopath was going to enter, I can assure you he wouldn’t look for my key under the mat” She said, rolling her eyes at him while attempting to hide the smile on her lips. But Dick quickly caught it making him smile proudly to himself,

God she looked beautiful, he thought. But he couldn’t think that. She already found someone to miss and that person wasn’t him.

“After five years, I can't believe this show is still on the air” Dick said, taking a spot next to her on the couch watching the reality show rerun playing on the tv. It felt like old times in Mount Justice.

“Yeah, it’s still quite entertaining if I’m being honest. But really, what are you doing here, Dick?” Y/n said, shrugging her shoulders trying to ignore how close Dick actually was.

“You remember what I told you about the reality show a few years ago” Dick said, his eyes not leaving the screen.

“You said that you preferred stabbing your eyes than watching that show for a minute. That the Joker should buy a big ass tv and play reruns of the show and it would be a better success than every other of his plans. But that still doesn’t answer my question” Y/n asked searching for Dick’s gaze.

“When you died, I felt this constant guilt eating me alive and all I could do was try to find things to heal what was going inside of me. When you died it was like part of me was buried with you” Dick said, getting a hold of her hand and holding eye contact with her. Y/n could feel the tears starting to form in her eyes, the conversation she desperately craved was finally coming, and she couldn’t even hear it.

“Dick, what are you saying? You have a girlfriend. Something that never died. Do you know how bad it hurt when I found out that you loved her? Don’t you remember when you told me that they will never be an us. There’s no us in this life, Y/n. We grew up, the day you died, I continued living. I really can’t do anything about it. Where’s all this crap coming from now?” Y/n said letting go of his hand in anger. All the words Y/n wanted Dick to say were coming out of Dick’s lips and all she could do was feel the rage radiate from her body.

“Please let me finish. I found comfort in something as dumb as it may sound. I found myself reaching for the controller everyday to put that dumb show on. It was like you were still here with me. The biggest torture that could happen to me wasn’t to watch that show, it was to not watch the show with the person I love the most. Losing you made me do crazy things and I know I said things that I really regret so I’m begging you Y/n. Please give me a chance to start over again” Dick looked at Y/n tears forming in his eyes and all she could imagine was his eyes the last time she saw him before her death. The pain and guilt in his eyes. The way he ran towards her trying to stop the blood or how he would yell for someone to help him. There he was, Dick Grayson, in all his glory opening up to her once again. So she did the only thing that made her feel safe, she pulled him into a hug.

It was something familiar for the both of them and no one wanted to let go. It was something the pair desperately needed. It was the connection they were missing for the past years and as dumb as it sounded they knew after this that Y/n and Dick’s relationship wasn’t going to be the same.

Jason Todd also knew that, there he stood at the end of the exit with only one thought crossing his head constantly.

Ohhhhh, their voices make me melt,

Julie's high-pitch fun-filled voice that would make your head spin in the best way possible, how does she not run out of breath!; Sally being so...dramatic and "rich"! Also has different tones to use when needed (Haha, Director mode!); Poppy being so motherly sounding and gentle (Her Voice training went so well, I'm so proud of her!!!) but also ready to SQUAWK your ears right off; Barnaby and his deep(??) voice with his comedic way of talking, it's warming; Frank's nerdy way of saying things, his pjonecall is literally him infodumping about butterflies! Who wouldn't want that?; Eddie's accent makes him sound like the perfect cowboy! Even though he's a mailman! Just a wonderful accent overall; Howdy also has an accent and a voice that would use tongue-twisters to sell you a used car; Wally hasn't changed one bit but that's okay! He sounds just the most!

In love with the way everyone talks and says their sayings!

Also, is it just me or was the interviewer from the "Live Interview Audio" sound like Night Mind? They sound so similar, haha! Especially the way they emphasize(??) words! Maybe, it is just me

I dont like the young justice TV show

OK OK before you say anything hears my opinion on this TV show

the one on HBO max I mean

I hate it, it makes me want to rip my hair out

and here are some of the reasons why

First off, they put the whole ass wrong Robin in there

They put Dick in there?? No?? The Robin that was in the Young Justice was Tim Drake not Dick. He was never a member of the Young justice

Time, Conner and Bart where the three IfirstI members of the Young justice, they made the team, and by the time that Tim is Robin Dicks a full grown adult so why would he be in there??

Dick was a Teen Titan sure but a young justice member?? Hello?

I mean like a quick google serch can tell you what Robin it was and like i guess benifit of the doubt the robins are a bit confusing but they have Tim come into the show later on like he was the Robin after Dick? No? Where did Jason go? After Dick Jason was Robin, not Tim.

Like for what reason (also why did they flatten his hair like that)

Like thats Tim in the first Young justice comics

You can litrally just Google it and get the right one

Starting with the disign thing because thats my bigest ick this is what hes suposed to look like (what he looked like in his protraal in the comic books)

Like look how cool that is with the Leather jacket and the belts all the color design, like you can get a pretty good grasp of his personality just based on his design, but what they did with him in the show...

They just took out everything that made him a unique character, like everything

His entire personality was also changed witch i absolutly cannot stand. He almost acts like a wild animal in the show like for what reson did they need to make him the worst character ever in the show I hate it so much

Why did they change his whole backstory to?? Like he was made from super man and Lex Luthors DNA right?? Not in this show! He was made by like a cult in the tv show for whatever reson

They compleatly changed his character like compleatly and its probally one of the biggest resons why i dont like this show

but i guess ill give them points on actually putting in the right super boy because its the only charachter who was actually a member of the young justece

Third off, they goofed up Bart big time

Another backstory they almost compleatly changed.

They kept in him coming from the 31st century but he comes from like a post apocoliptic world?? Hello??

The TLDR on Barts actually backstory: He couldnt turn off his super speed abilities so his grandmother (iris) took him back in time to wally so wally could help him, since he grew up so fast he was hooked into VR so that he could mentally age at the same rate goofing up his fear responce and makeing him very impulsive.

The thing is the time that Bart goes back to is the time that wallys the flash, In the show Wally is still the kid flash

Witch is another point in of itself Wally was never a member of the young justice and the flash (barry allen) isnt suosed to be around

Why they changed what Robin and 'Kid flash' where in this tv show only to later introduce the correct ones is unknown to me i have no idea why they would do that.

long story short they put the wrong speedster in there but later put the right one in there only to goof it up

why did they change arrowett like that?

They not only changed her name and the color of her costume (why??) but they had a weird side romance with Wally and her wich why AND they changed her whole ass name??? Her name is Cissy? Why did they flipin change that??

Last but not least

Where are wonder girl and seccret??

Wonder girl is important?? literally what?? Not only that but they took out secret to? Shes kinda important?

Someone please inform me if im wrong on them both not being there I didn't watch the whole show its mind melting

Theory on “Welcome Home” by my sister and me

Why we think that Home is the main villain and why we think that Wally is the only one left/his friends disappeared due to Home.

Includes Spoilers(?) for a lot of the hidden secrets of the Welcome Home website.

I have no idea if someone already came to similar conclusions. We are both still very new in the fandom (we have known “Welcome Home” for three days by now) and came up with this during breakfast so if you know theories which are similar, just know that we genuinely didn’t want to copy anyone.

TWs: Jumpscare (?), Scopophobia, Horror/creepy themes, unsettling image

While talking about the currently unknown situation of the characters, we came to the conclusion that Wally is the only one left, that his friends disappeared, that Home is the main villain of the arg and is responsible for the disappearing of Wally’s friends as well as that Wally actually isn’t evil or twisted at all but that he just tries to keep the viewer/”You” away from Home/the truth because he’s scared, but I will come back to that in a second.

This post is structured in (...) parts:

Why we think that Wally is the only one left/that his friends disappeared

The reason why Home let his friends disappear

Why we think that Wally isn’t evil but rather tries to cover up everything

Explanations for the scenes where Wally seems creepy and threatening

The reason why he sent the old material to the restoration team but still tries to cover up things/Is there a restoration team?

The Guest book (Which plays a main role in this theory since we found the most proof which supports our theory there)

Conclusion

Now let's get started.

1. Why we think that Wally is the only one left in the neighborhood and why we think that his friends disappeared:

One of the main proofs for this part of our theory, is the fact that the character descriptions of all the characters, besides the description of Wally and the hidden one for “You”, are written in the past tense. Wally’s description and the one of “You” however, are written in the present tense.

Now it makes sense for the description of “You” to be written in the present since “You” is literally the viewer. “You” is you as you are browsing through the website, engaging with the content but what does that mean for the descriptions of the characters?

In this context, it only makes sense, that the others are gone and all that is left about them, is the old material like merchandise and information about them from the show itself. With Wally’s description written in the present tense, however, it implies that he is still there and due to this, the only left.

Another proof for this, is the fact that under each description, stands “Go back” while under Wally’s description stands “Good Bye”. Clicking on this link will simply lead you back to the overview of the neighborhood. While this can mean many things and while it does give off a somewhat creepy vibe, we came up with the theory that it’s literally just “You” saying goodbye to Wally after leaving his house again. After all, you click on the houses and “enter” them, in order to “meet” the characters and read information about them.

Now with the others gone, you can’t say goodbye to anyone since the houses are empty. All that is left are the memories about them but Wally is still there, in his home. Due to this, when you enter his house, you can say goodbye to someone since it isn’t empty like the other houses.

Also the blurry lines here in this picture, could imply that the things said here are only a memory of Wally.

But where are his friends, and I say friends because the website and Wally’s replies in the guest book make it very clear that he views them as such.

This question actually leads us to the next part of our theory:

2. The reason why we think that Home is the one responsible for the disappearing of the other characters instead of Wally:

Home clearly plays a huge role in the events and it seems to be a very powerful character too. However, very little is known about it.

The only thing about Home we know for sure, is that it’s very much alive and the only house in the neighborhood which is a character itself. The other houses are simply normal houses without a life of their own. This gets stated in the character description of Wally.

Now why do we think that Home is the one who let the other characters disappear and why didn’t it let Wally disappear too.

The main point for this, is the portal/void which can be found underneath Home if you remove the image of Home.

It’s pretty likely that the others disappeared through whatever this black hole is since it’s the only known exit out of what seems like the whole world of “Welcome Home” itself.

Now since this portal is directly underneath Home, it’s likely that Home has something to do with it or is directly connected with it in some way.

The portal is also obviously well hidden though so it doesn’t seem like something the other neighbors knew about.

Wally, however, is still in the world of “Welcome Home” and doesn’t seem like he ever left/can leave.

He tries to communicate with the outside world through staring at the screen, unlike other characters who usually never directly look at the screen outside of concept art and he picks up contact with “You” and the restoration team indirectly, through letters and hidden messages.

Also, the cut scene where he tells the viewer that he can’t see them, makes it seem like he is somewhat stuck in that world and is unable to leave for now, even though a portal is right there.

The other characters, however, are gone and the portal seems like the only option to leave. So why can’t Wally leave and if Home is “in charge” of the portal, why won’t it let him leave too?

The conclusion to which we came is that he tried/did something which angered Home and as a punishment, it took away his friends and made him unable to leave the world, forcing him to live in loneliness with Home as his only company/”friend”.

Maybe, he tried to communicate/did openly communicate with the outside world (maybe he and the others even left the outside world (maybe they produced the series which was known in our world there) leaving Home who couldn’t follow behind, so now it makes Wally suffer in loneliness just like it did then.) angering Home with this, so this is the punishment for it.

After all, Wally seems to be scared of Home and a lot of actions he does seem to be done in order to soothe Home, in order to prevent further harm caused by it.

This picture, for example, seems like he’s trying to soothe Home in some way/beg it not to cause harm to whoever it looks at here.

My sister also pointed out that Home looks directly at the viewer instead of at Wally so maybe he’s trying to prevent Home from making the viewer disappear too.

Maybe it is also a kind of flashback, showing a part of what happened in the past.

Also the audio where he sings a part of “Beautiful Dreamer” to Home partly seems to be an action he might do because he is thinking about the old times, after all he stated that Barnaby taught him the lyrics of the song, but it could also be done to keep Home entertained.

The part where he stops and asks Home if it liked the song, telling it that he doesn’t know the rest of the lyrics since Barnaby only taught him until this part, also seems like a backhanded reproach for making his friends disappear but it also kind of confirms that only Wally and Home are left, again. (If he were still there, I could go ask him and sing the rest of the song to you.)

After all, if Barnaby and the others would be still there, he could just go to him and ask him to teach him the rest of the lyrics.

In the Guest Book, Wally also stated that he loves his friends and the old art shows that he was close with them so we highly doubt that he was the one who made them disappear.

With that, we also come to the third part:

3. Why we think that Wally isn’t evil and why he tries to cover up everything:

As already mentioned, Wally genuinely seemed to love his friends and seemed to be close with them so we highly doubt that he made them disappear but if Wally isn’t the one who made them disappear, then why would he cover everything up instead of openly seeking help?

A possible explanation for it could be that he doesn’t want Home to cause any more harm, this time to the viewer so he tries to keep anyone far away from Home and vice versa.

He also only, as already mentioned, talks directly to the viewer, either in the Guest Book (which doesn’t count as the outside world since the people who wrote in the guest book were in his home and wrote something in it there and he only replies to what they said), or through hidden messages (white font on white background in the Guest Book; in separate tabs;...) seemingly hiding his replies from people who don’t search for hidden clues and seemingly hiding it from something in his world too, (Home?).

He also seems to be grieving after his friends.

A clue for this is the fact that the old pictures of the other character which were sent by the restoration team are completely damaged and drawn over with his paint.

It has to be his paint since firstly, the colors used are mainly the colors which are usually resonated with him and secondly, since it’s paint and he is the only character who’s shown to be painting/shown to be a painter.

Messing up old pictures with them but not completely destroying them, seems more like a thing, done out of desperation and grief upon losing them, after entering the stage of grief where one is trying to erase all the memories of a person but not being able to get rid of everything due to the emotional attachment to the person which is still very much present, instead of some kind of a ritual or a thing which was done with evil intent.

In a lot of messages, he also seems like he wants to make the viewer stop his search for hints and clues about what happened.

One of the messages where this is the most obvious, is when he tells the viewer that they “wandered off to far” in a separate tab sending them back to the neighborhood seemingly trying to make them stay in the neighborhood instead of trying to discover what’s hidden in new tabs.

Also the further you come with your investigation, the more creepy and direct his “warnings” get.

Speaking of creepy, there are a lot of scenes and details, where Wally comes off as creepy and twisted which leads us to the next point which is

4. Trying to explain scenes where Wally comes off as creepy and threatening in the context of this theory that he isn’t evil or twisted:

1. The hidden scene in one of the tabs/Wally’s first time completely revealing himself to “You:

The scene where he seems the most threatening and creepy got to be the one where he asks the viewer if they can see him, telling them that he can’t see them but if they can see them, they have to stay quiet.

Now why this scene definitely seems threatening and creepy, and while it can be interpreted in many ways, from genuine threat to a warning, here is our theory about this scene.

If you find this secret scene, it is clear that you are already aware that something is going on behind the happy and colorful facade and that you searched for clues and hints but also that you are already a lot closer to the truth than others.

Due to this, we think that Wally is now showing himself openly, in a hidden tab, again hidden away from clueless viewers and maybe also hidden away from Home, telling you once more to stop searching for clues or at least to do so discreetly.

It seems like you’ve come so close to the truth that he is now forced to step fully in action, showing himself directly but doing so hidden away from anyone besides you.

He is aware that there is someone from the outside watching him and trying to figure out what happened, but he can’t see “You” yet.

Now it doesn’t make much sense to tell you to stay quiet if you are already so deep in/if they can see him here, if he would really want to find and harm the viewer himself.

It seems more like one final threat/warning and an indirect hint that not only he is aware of the viewer but also someone else which can only be Home and that the viewer should stay quiet in order not to be found by Home too.

He’s openly informing us about some danger and while he makes it unclear if he is the danger or Home, in regards to all the clues, it seems like Home is the danger of which he is warning the viewer and that they should stay quiet because of Home.

2. “Wally is your best friend.”

This sentence which appears in the hidden character description of “You”, can be read in a neutral manner, it can be read as friendly or as eerie and possessive.

However, firstly it would make sense that he is your best friend since he is the only one left besides Home and if it’s true that he tries to keep the viewer far away from Home due to the danger striving from it, it’s clear that we can’t be best friends with the only other living being left in that world.

The possessive vibe can also come from him, finally having someone to interact with again after so long and him not wanting to lose yet another neighbor/friend again. After all, he has been alone since supposedly the 70s since this is when the show was abruptly stopped for unknown reasons.

3. The Barnaby patch on his armchair and the Barnaby photograph in the newspaper.

While a lot of people (including me) jumped directly to the conclusion that Wally killed Barnaby, I doubt that he did so by now.

One of the most likely explanations is, that he made Barnaby himself, also in regards of this shich can be found on Clown's website, which portrays Wally and a headless Barnaby where Wally exclaimed that he "made a dog".

(However the pictures on Clown’s website aren’t really canon anymore since they are from when Welcome Home was in its beginning stages and a lot has changed since then and I don’t know how far those pictures can be used for a theory.)

Also talking about this picture, it could also be that Wally tried to make a Barnaby after the real one disappeared and the fact that Barnaby has no head here, symbolizes that he isn’t the real one but rather a puppet resembling Wally’s old friend.

Another theory is that he kept that part as a memory of Barnaby. Maybe he did make him and had some fabric left which he sewed on his armchair as a memory after Barnaby disappeared.

The newspaper article is probably closely related to what happened in the neighborhood, since Wally has a finger over it, kind of hiding the picture from the viewer.

Maybe it’s an article about Barnaby missing since the photo looks a lot like those used for articles about missing people.

But I doubt that he killed Barnaby.

5. The reply “You don’t like me neighbor.” to a Guest Book entry saying that they hope that Wally isn’t evil or else they would be super bummed:

If his friends really disappeared as punishment from Home for Wally, it is likely that he feels guilty for what happened and views himself as evil.

Maybe he is the reason why Home turned evil or maybe he is the reason why Home came to life at all so now he blames himself for his actions despite not being what is viewed as evil.

4. Why did Wally send stuff to the restoration team?/Is there a restoration team?

While thinking about everything, we started to question if there is a restoration team since it also seemed likely that Wally is the one who is in charge of the page, but by now we think that Wally just has access to the page in some way but that there is a restoration team. A proof for that is the gloved human hand in the photo which shows one of the damaged pictures. It would be hard to fake this for a literal puppet.

However, it is clear that Wally is the one who sends the restoration team all the material. After all, who else should have all the material and the knowledge of a forgotten show and why should the person stay anonymous and use colorful envelopes, like the ones in the world of “Welcome Home”. Also there is Wally’s hand on a lot of the photos which show some of the material so I think it’s very clear that he sends all of this to the restoration team.

After all these years, he seems to have found a way to communicate with the outside world again.

But why would he send all of this when he tries to cover up the most anyways?

Our guess is that he wants to remind people of the show again, keeping the memory of his friends upright and maybe he wants to send his friends, wherever they might be, a sign that he is still very much alive.

However, he doesn’t want anyone to find out the truth and wants to keep everyone away from Home, either out of shame or because he doesn't want that anything happens again but with people slowly discovering what happened, he starts to take action to scare people away from the secret and from Home.

5. The Guest Book:

In the Guest Books are so many hidden clues for so much things.

Not only did we find replies which seem to be by Barnaby which implies that

Wally tries to act like Barnaby in order to prevent people from guessing that they are gone but there is also stuff like him drawing over replies which suggest that something is going on here/that there are many secrets on this website and replies of Wally which try to change the topic when people ask how’s it going over there (p.ex. him writing stuff like “Apple” to a question like this).

He also states in the Guest Book that he did in fact love his friends a lot but also him interacting with people who search for clues through white font on white background, asking if they are searching for him, openly showing himself even though in a hidden way, can be found in the Guest Book.

Conclusion:

All in all, we think that Wally isn’t evil due to him seemingly trying to keep the viewer away from Home, warning them in an indirect way and him hiding from something, even though he does interact with people openly through the Guest Book.

However the interactions in the Guest Book take place in his own world and every interaction with the outside world, outside of the guest book is hidden in some way.

He also genuinely seemed to be close with his friends and there are clues which imply him grieving after them, trying to get rid of any memories of them but not being able to do so due to him still being emotionally attracted, like the pictures of them which were damaged but not fully destroyed by him.

All over the website are hidden clues which suggest that the other characters are all gone and that he and Home are the only ones left. However, it seems like he can’t leave and is somewhat stuck in the neighborhood/his world.

We came up with the theory that Home is actually the one who let them disappear as a form of punishment for Wally for something he did, probably for leaving the neighborhood with his friends to the outside world where they produced the show in the 70s, leaving Home behind so now it makes him suffer in loneliness as a punishment for this.

A lot of images also suggest that Wally is actually scared of Home and tries to soothe it/keep it entertained in order to prevent any more harm caused by it but he also once seems to make a backhanded reproach to it for making his friends disappear when telling it that he can’t continue singing the song to it since Barnaby only taught him this part of it.

Wally also seems to try to keep the viewer as far from the truth and from Home as possible, getting slowly more and more direct with his warnings until he even seems threatening in the hidden tab where he tells the viewer that they should stay quiet if they can see him in this tab, suggesting that they are already far too deep in and most likely giving them a last warning to stay away from Home and the truth. Most likely he does so in order to prevent Home from causing harm to the viewer.

It’s likely that he only sended the material to the restoration team after finding a way to communicate with the outside world after all these years, in order to gain some company again, to send his friends, wherever they are, a sign that he is still very much alive and to keep the memory of his friends upright but he didn’t really wanted that people find out what happened so with people starting to get closer to the truth, he is forced to take action himself, scaring them away though interactions which are hidden away from viewers which are unaware of what’s going on and hidden away from Home as well.

While there is one reply in the Guest Book which suggests that he views himself as evil, it is likely that he might blame himself for what happened but if it’s true that Home took his friends away as a punishment, it’s only logic that he blames himself and therefore views himself as evil.

Maybe he also is the reason why Home came to life at all or maybe he is responsible for his friends disappearing through Home without wanting it.

However, all the scenes where Wally seems to be evil and unhinged, can actually be viewed in multiple ways often and could be made like this in order to mislead the viewer into thinking that Wally is the main villain when in truth he is only trying to keep the viewer away from Home out of fear that Home takes them away too.

Or Wally just got a bit funky in his time where he lived alone with only Home as company.

However, this is all just one big theory and it’s also kind of messy with a lot of interpretation since there isn’t a lot known about Wally’s and Home’s true motives but at this moment, we do think that Home is the one who made them disappear to punish Wally, that Wally tries to simply keep the viewer away from Home to prevent Home from making them disappear too and that all the scenes where he seems creepy and threatening are only made like this in order to mislead the viewer into thinking that Wally is the main villain but also in order to scare them away from trying to uncover the truth.
