dont have time to set it up right now but would anyone be interested if i made a side blog documenting my plush / figure collection? i’d do like cute little fabric backgrounds and stuff and potentially document me making the odd plush from time to time, figured it might be fun!

#i enjoy curating stuff and showing the dumb little toys i collect #i may make this regardless of interest but i figured i'd mention it here in case some people would like to see it #need an excuse to use my good camera again #i dont have a ton of things but i really like finding specific things that i love to have in my collection #i'd take pics of plushies and figures and things #like i have some sofubi and gatcha figs as well as just odd collectable figures from here and there #and special plush like jellycats some kickstarter guys and like older dear looking ones too that have been cuddled a lot #i would love to get into toy design one day #so finding toys i really like for various specific reasons is smth i'm really interested in and figured it might be fun to share in an #aesthetic format #plus i bought a really cute plush pattern and some special fabric for it that i'm excited to make and thought it'd be fun to start the blog #with documenting making it as the first thing i do

"Anniebell": Sometimes the smallest changes are the cutest, okay? Anniebell Lee sounds adorable as hell and I'll stick by it. Imagine Annabel trying to admonish Lenore for saying some wild shit at a Rich Persons Gala™️ or smth but she keeps breaking out into giggles like, "You- you can't just say that pet!" and Lenore playfully replying, "Oh whatever do you mean, Anniebell Lee?" like UGH I hate them somebody throw hammers at em already 💥💥🔨🔨🔨

“My moon”: in relation to the Annabel Lee poem (‘for the moon never beams/Without bringing me dreams/Of the wonderful Annabel Lee’) and also there’s smth so flavorful of the character with a color palette more akin to the Sun (long shiny blonde hair, warm colored eyes, seemingly more outwardly personality, etc) being called the moon like I loveee contrasting design choices‼️‼️

“Angel”: Also a reference to the poem (but like, worse because it was the angels that separated em) and can be easily pulled from Annabel’s name

“Petal”: Or some other variation of a flower based nickname because imma sad, sad bisexual who loves ✨flower motifs✨ just a bit too much

Anything in Dutch: This can be like common ones like “liefje” (darling) or the previous entries but in Dutch idk go crazy go stupid

“Locket”: An unconventional pick pulled from Annabel’s last name Whitlock + lockets containing pieces of hair from your other half being T H E romantic gesture of the century back then, so, like. Idk. hey. artists who make process videos but want to expend the least amount of effort possible:

fake that shit. finish your piece and then make your lineart white and color it back in. mask your color layers and then un-mask them with brushstrokes. choose something eye catching to copypaste and do that a couple times. add bits of glow/sparkle/foliage/freckles/whatever else is relevant

if you get like three shots like this and then have the rest be video of your finished work no one will know. no one will CARE I promise. do not give your soul to the Microcontent Wheel it is Not worth it
