KILLING BUTTERFLIES
Sho's Pov:
My day began like any other - getting rudely awakened by my alarm clock and promptly throwing it against the wall. I've lost count of how many alarm clocks I've gone through. Anyway, I proceeded with my usual morning routine, putting on my uniform and heading to wake up my brother, Keiji. "Keiji, get up! You have until I come out of the bathroom," I called out.
After waiting for five minutes, I went back to Keiji's room and entered. "Kei, get your lazy ass out of bed, or I'm calling Papa," I warned him firmly. But, to my frustration, he simply groaned and turned over. Can you believe the audacity?
"Fine, I warned you, Keiji Akaashi Hinata. Papa, Kei won't get out of bed. I'll go get Eri ready for school. I'm not dealing with him today," I muttered, annoyed.
I then made my way into Eri's room, greeting her with a smile. "Good morning, it's time for our little unicorn to wake up. Come on, sis, it's time to get ready for school."
Sho's Pov:
As I walked into Eri's room, I greeted her with a warm smile. "Good morning, it's time for our little unicorn to wake up. Come on, sis, it's time to get ready for school."
Eri let out an adorable yawn and replied, "Nyaa! Morning, big brother sunshine."
"Good morning, unicorn. It's time for our little unicorn to go to school. Let's get you dressed and head down for breakfast. I think Dad is making pancakes today," I said, excitedly.
"Is Ji up yet?" Eri asked, mischief evident in her voice. "Do you want to see if owl boy is up, or should we throw water over him?" She giggled mischievously, unable to contain her evil smirk. "Hehe! Okay, let's go!"
Together, we made our way to Keiji's room, only to find that he was still fast asleep. Without hesitation, Sho and Eri decided to tip cold water over him. They successfully woke him up, but unfortunately, they also woke him up on his bad side.
"YOU ARE SO DEAD, SHOYO AKAASHI HINATA!" Keiji shouted angrily.
"Hehe, Sho, Sho, is Dad making chocolate pancakes?" Eri innocently asked.
"Naturally, unicorn," I replied with a smile. I quickly got Eri dressed, and we headed downstairs. After greeting Dad and Papa, we sat down for breakfast. Eri and I chanted "Pancakes, pancakes, pancakes!" together, eagerly awaiting our delicious meal. Finally, Keiji made an appearance, and we continued our chant. "That's what you get for staying up late with your boyfriend, Bokuto. You know how bad your sleeping is," I teased him.
Once we finished our pancakes, we got into the car and drove to school, blasting the radio and singing along. Eri and I were in perfect harmony, and I couldn't help but admire her talent. We dropped Eri off at play school and continued on to mine and Keiji's school, thinking it would be a normal day.
Little did I know, my day was about to take a turn for the worse. As I walked into the gym, I could hear cheering and chants of congratulations. Confused, I approached my best friend, Atsumu, who was standing with my crush, Kita.
"Hey, Suna, what's happening? This doesn't seem normal," I asked him.
"Oh, hey, Shoyo. Yeah, Atsumu and Kita just became an official couple. Pretty great, huh? Congrats to them," Suna replied casually.
"That's... great. Yeah, congrats," I said, trying to hide my disappointment. I always secretly shipped Atsumu and Kita, but I never expected them to actually get together. Excusing myself, I walked away, feeling a strange mix of jealousy and nausea building up inside me.
Coughing and hacking, I couldn't control the overwhelming feeling that took over me. Panicking, I ran out of the room and looked at my hand, only to see blood and petals.
"Shit, shit, shit," I muttered under my breath.
I could hear footsteps running behind me, and Suna caught up to me. "Sho, what happened?" he asked, concerned.
"Nothing. I-I-I'm fine," I replied, trying to brush off the situation. But deep down, I knew something was wrong.
I ran out of the school and bumped into Sakusa, an acquaintance from another class. "Hey, sunshine, long time no see. Are you okay?" he asked, noticing my distressed state.
My mind wandered back to the events that had just unfolded, and before I knew it, I blurted out, "Hello, flower petals. How are you, Omi?" Sakusa looked shocked and scared simultaneously, and then he asked, "Okay, whose the bastard that gave you Hanahaki?"
I looked at Sakusa, contemplating his words. "My classmate, but why do you care?" I asked, curious about his sudden concern.
He replied, "1. I care, sunshine, because you are my best friend and the only one who can understand my phobia. 2. I want to make sure it isn't my little brother. I don't exactly feel like kicking his ass today. 3. You are dying over this bastard."
I nodded, acknowledging his points. "Those are fair points, but you forgot number four," I said.
Sakusa raised an eyebrow, waiting for me to continue.
"Number four is that besides Kita, I am the only other person who can keep the twins under control. If I die, Kita is left to deal with them alone," I explained.
Sakusa sighed. "I can't argue with that statement. So, who gave you Hanahaki?"
"Well, I mentioned him twice. It's Kita, as in Kita Shinsuke," I replied, feeling a mix of sadness and anger. "Kita and Atsumu, to be exact. Atsumu knew I liked Kita, and he took advantage of that fact. It's hard to believe I once liked Atsumu, and he goes and pulls a dirty move like this."
My mind was filled with uncertainty. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't go back to school and face them without throwing up petals, and I couldn't go home because my dads were at work. I felt like I had nowhere to go.
"Hey, sunshine, are you okay? You're zoned out. Do you need to talk about it?" Sakusa asked, concerned.
"No, I'm fine. I was just thinking. I can't go back to school and face the people who put me in this condition, and I can't face my dads and let them see me like this. I basically have nowhere to go," I replied, feeling lost.
Sakusa paused for a moment before speaking. "Well, you can stay with me as long as you need, princess. I have my own little apartment. It's nothing special, but it's homely."
Meanwhile, in the Inarizaki group chat:
Luna: Has anyone seen Shoyo? I can't find him anywhere.
Suna: No, he ran out this morning. Do you need him?
Luna: I'm worried about him. He didn't look so good. Thank you for telling me, Suna.
Sangwoo: I'm sure he's fine, Luna-chan.
Ojiro: Yeah, I agree with Sangwoo. Sho can handle himself.
Aran: Did you check his house or with his brother?
Luna: That was the first place I checked, Ojiro.
Mr. Hinata: Yes, Aran?
Aran: Mr. Hinata, Sho's other dad is a teacher and volleyball coach at the school. Your son is missing.
Mr. Hinata: He's missing? What happened, Aran?
Suna: Sorry to be off-topic, sir and Aran, but Shoyo is your son.
Mr. Hinata: Yes, Suna, and he is my cousin, by the way. Hence why I am worried. Sorry, uncle.
Suna: It's alright, dear. Shoyo and Akaashi, along with their little sister Eri, are my biological kids. I mean, you just have to look at Sho and Akaashi to tell they're related. But Uncle, you're off-topic. What about Sho? He's missing. Anything could have happened.
Atsumu has gone offline.
I received a text from Atsumu and showed it to Sakusa. "Hey, Sunshine, this is a stretch, but I'm putting it out there. Why don't you get the surgery?" he suggested.
I shook my head. "Because I don't want to be unable to feel love again, Kiyo," I replied honestly.
Sakusa sighed. "So, you're willing to end your life for AtsumBack at Inarizaki
MR Hinata has just learnt the truth well not all of the truth about his son now he is about to confront his class about the situation
“Class 1-A aka my team come to the Gym now pronto ASAP”
“Yes Sensei is something up”
"As a matter of fact yes in the search for my son my eldest has found his diary now I have read it especially the last page Kita did you know my son had feelings for you”
“I Knew he had like feelings but I thought he meant like a friendship way when he told me he loved me why do you ask sir”
“Congratulations your killing him you at Atsumu”
“Excuse me sir what do you mean Kita and Atsumu is killing him”
“Well Ren Sho has Hanahaki”
“But isn't that a myth sir”
“I thought so to but the evidence in his diary suggests other wise”
“What does the entry say as It has to be about me I have a right to know right”?
“Okay here is his last entry reads it out ~Hey diary this will be the last you hear from me you see today the ultimate betrayal happened when my best friend and my crush become official coughs while writing and <blood and petals come up> oh yeah I should mention that to you diary I have Hanahaki you know what keep the petals as a memory of the betrayal that I will never forget bye diary”~
Everyone looked shocked and disappointed Mean while Shoyo decided to text his cousin luna

Mr Hinata read Luna’s phone and then said
“Atsumu you can go and see The principal”

summary: in which your friend suddenly canceled on you, so you drag him with you against his will
note: please i loved writing these, i miss going to concerts :< i usually go to concerts alone so these were really more self indulgent brain vomit hehe also, where can i get myself a semi eita?

“What band again?” Semi asks through the phone. You were on your way to the concert hall when your friend suddenly canceled on you, lucky for you, you had yourself a Semi Eita :’) “Aight, see you there.” he hums and ends the call. You technically don’t drag Semi to go to the concert with you, he just willingly goes. He’s always been like this, if he knows it’s about something you love or you’re passionate about he doesn’t even think twice, he’ll be there to support you or cheer for you.
You make your way through the crowd and look for Semi, two tickets on hand. “y/n!” he shouts with a big smile, waving something in the air. “Eita! What is that?” you curiously ask, eyeing the thing he was swinging around just a while ago. He unwraps the item and proudly shows you, “I bought us merch!!” this man, i swear <3
You sing, laugh, and just let yourself go with Semi all through the night. Suddenly, an all too familiar tune is played and you instinctively face him with a big smile. He does the same and just as the beat drops, the both of you sing to the song as loud and as crazy as you two can. It’s just like how you two usually do it in your room with you swinging your head around like a rockstar and Semi air guitaring like some mad person.
“You don’t really need to if you don’t want to Ushi.” you say squeezing his hand hoping to comfort him just a little bit. You wouldn’t have called him if you had anyone else to call, but you just couldn’t let the tickets you have go to waste and everyone else was busy. “It’s alright, y/n. I can accompany you.” Ushi lets out a small smile and you awkwardly smile back, you’ve avoided putting him in situations he’s not comfortable with but here you are basically dragging him to a concert.
You both enter the concert hall and find your seats (or spot if you’re in moshpit hehe). You glance over to him to make sure he was doing alright and as usual he kept the same stoic look, waiting for the concert to start. “Ushi, just let me know if you’re feeling uncomfy, okay? We can get out of here.” you assure him with a smile but he only sends you a confused look.
The lights dim down and your concern slowly mixes with excitement, the music starts and you almost forget that you dragged your boyfriend into this concert. You dance to the music, cheer with the rest of the crowd and every few songs, you glance over to Ushi to check up on him. He only bops his head to the music, both hands safely tucked in his pockets.
You quietly head out of the hall, the concert finishes with only a few smiles exchanged from the both of you. You stay quiet thinking of what to say and how to apologize when Ushi suddenly turns to you, “I had a lot of fun.” he smiles. You tilt your head in question, he then closes his eyes and smiles, “I liked their music a lot, and I liked the noisy crowd. It kind of reminded me of some of our matches.” he chuckled. You let out a small laugh, both in amusement and relief. “Want to come with me again next time?” you ask, wrapping yourself around him. He engulfs you in his warmth and nods, “I would love that.”
“I don’t even know any of their songs…” Atsumu whines as you drag him through the crowd of excited concertgoers. You look back at him with an apologetic smile, “Sorry Tsumu, f/n suddenly cancelled and I didn’t know what to do with the extra ticket.” He pouts at you but continues walking anyway, matching your excited pace.
You sing softly, hoping the video you’re recording won’t catch your already tired voice. You raise your phone just below eye-level (gotta respect the people at the back!) and continue to shakily record the band’s performance. “Gimme, y/n.” Atsumu finally says after observing your very poor and shaky recording. You give him a quick kiss on the cheek as thanks and carefully transfer your phone to his hand. The concert ends with you singing your heart out not worried of the ugly concert voice your recordings usually have.
“Okay, lemme see! Lemme see!” you take your phone from Atsumu excited to relive the concert once more. You settle on the last video in your gallery and watch in anticipation. “Tsumu?” you call without your eyes leaving the screen. He hums a reply, looking at you with a small smirk. You face him with a confused look as you show him the video he took. “You looked like you had a lot of fun, y/n.” he beamed, giving you a thumbs up, it was a video of you half-crying-half-singing to the last song looking like an emotional mess, the band wasn’t in any of the frames. surprise all his other videos are either wobbly or showing him mockingly singing along with you
“Just 3 hours, tops! I swear, Akaashi!” you promise as you make googly eyes at the disheveled man in front of you. Akaashi rubs his neck and sighs, “Where did f/n go?”. You lower your eyes at him, you feel a bit guilty but you just cannot miss this concert. You’ve been saving up for it since last year and for a hard earned ticket to go to waste is out of the question. You look down at your feet and look for the right words to say. You lift your head up to try to charm your way out but Akaashi sighs and opens the door wider for you, “Get in, I’ll just go and get changed.”
“Thank you, thank you, thank you Keiji!!” you squeal, squeezing his arm in excitement. The lights suddenly go out in the arena and the screams from everywhere deafen you for a second. You let out deafening screams of your own, still holding onto your boyfriend’s arm. As the stage lights flicker on, you scream and sing on top of your lungs and Akaashi turns to you smiling, she is so beautiful under this light.
“Just this once, pleaaaaaseee Bo?” you plead with all your might. Bokuto might be the one always charming his way around your relationship but you also have a few tricks up your sleeve. He avoids looking at you but ultimately gives in, “Fine, you win y/n, where are we going?” he asks, squeezing your cheek.
“I don’t get it, who buys popcorn at a concert?” you laugh at your boyfriend who is cheekily eating his barbecue popcorn. “You can’t complain, you dragged me here,” he says matter of factly as he throws a piece to his mouth. You roll your eyes and wait for the concert to begin, and it surely does just a few minutes later.
You’ve loved this band for years and you blast their music on a daily basis, whether you're cleaning, studying, or just jamming out. You know their lyrics by heart and apparently, your boyfriend thinks he does too. You let out a hearty laugh, “Bo!!” you playfully slap his arm and he only smirks up at you. “What? THE HQ BOYS AS GHOSTS ON BUZZFEED UNSOLVED (OR JUST GHOSTS IN GENERAL)
— remember the post i made earlier about some of the boys being on bfu not as ghost hunters / shane and ryan, but as the ghouls/ghosts in the places they investigate...well, here >_< this is all /lh btw hehe
➤ akaashi is the ghost that just minds his own business. he stays out of the way of investigations and has no plans to make his presence known. the most he does is accidentally leave a book he’s reading out on the desk which confuses ryan because “am i crazy or wasn’t this book just on the shelf?” no, sweetie, you’re not.
➤ the miya twins are an absolute headache to investigate. atsumu genuinely wants to freak the ghoul boys out, osamu undoes it just to mess with his brother. atsumu does his best to write the creepiest shit on walls and mirrors, but before shane and ryan could even process that they were there, osamu has already wiped it off. the most anyone could get from the twins is just incoherent arguing: “what the fuck, samu? even in the afterlife, you make things more difficult for me.” “then my job here is complete.”
➤ suga, being the absolute chaotic king he is, loves messing around with the spirit box. and you can bet that he tells all his ghoul friends to say the most random shit too. because yes, they could actually say things that make sense…but where’s the fun in that, you know? ‘hi, i’m a ghost. we’re real.’ is soooo boring compared to ‘apple taters’ or titles of popular songs or vine references.
➤ kageyama, who kinda feels bad for ryan, tries his best to help him out and prove that ghosts are real!! except he forgot that everything he does will translate as creepy or scary, no matter how pure his attentions are. “hi :)” doesn’t seem so endearing if it’s scrawled on a dusty old wall in red sharpie. a sweetheart nonetheless, please protect.
➤ i don’t know how, but kuroo would be the kind of ghoul that would have an enemies to unlikely allies arc with shane. because bestie kuroo really wants to scare the boys but all he gets is “ah the wind seems strong tonight” and “guess the floors are just really creaky” from shane and it gets on his nerves until they realize they could combine strengths and just creep ryan out. “hey, uh, ghost! would ya mind giving us a lil light?” “you got it buddy.” *light mysteriously turns on* *ryan screams*
➤ tendou’s just noisy. he’s always walking around the house he’s haunting, deliberately making his steps loud and heavy. whenever shane starts singing something, he’ll be humming or singing along with him. *shane, starts singing abba* *tendou, provides backing vocals* *ryan, very stressed out in the other room*

— akaashi keiji would confess to you while stargazing at the park. “hey, is everything alright ?” he asked when he found you already sitting on one of the crappy and beat up wooden benches at the park. “i made a quick stop on the way here.” he said, holding up the plastic bag to show you the stuff he had gotten for you. “is that my favorite soda ?” you asked, a smile creeping up to your face. his heart melted, he thought your smile was adorable. it was one of the many things he loved about you. yes it is.” he said, with a smile matching your own. “i know how much you love it and you seemed a little.. sad when you called me. is everything alright ?” he asked once more.
you fiddled with the soda can in your hands. “oh everything is alright don’t worry. just overthinking again...about this boy.” you said quietly. akaashi eyes widened. ‘a boy.’ he thought to himself. you liked someone, and there’s no way it could be him. “you know... the girl that i like, i think she’s too hard on herself.” he said suddenly. “you like someone ?” you asked, slightly shocked. akaashi nodded his head. “yeah, she has this really bright smile, i’m pretty sure it could light up a whole room.” he said softly. you continued to fiddle with the soda can in your hands, tears daring to fall from your eyes. of course he liked someone, and there was no way it was you. “oh, and she really loves (your favorite soda).” the boy sitting next to you said.
“well it seems that you really like this girl.” you said in a voice barely above a whisper. “i think that if you like her that much you should just let her know.” akaashi’s eyes widened when he finally realized that you had no idea that he was talking about you the entire time. “if you’ll excuse me,” you said getting ready to leave. “i think i um.. have some homework to finish.” you said bowing slightly. “thank you for tonight.” but before you could rush off you felt a hand grab your wrist, “hey—” but before you even had the chance to protest you felt akaashi’s lips on yours. the kiss was shorter than what you would’ve wanted, but it was just as perfect as you had imagined. he didn’t even give you a chance to kiss back. he pulled away, pink tinting his cheeks as he spoke, “y/n, it’s you, it’s you that i like.”
— semi eita would confess to you with a song he wrote about you. (the song used in this one is still into you by paramore !) he had always had a little crush on you, in your high school years and even now that you were both college students. it wasn’t only the fact that you were probably the most beautiful girl he had even laid his eyes on but also the fact that you were there for him all the time. when he got into his dream college, during graduation, when he finally fulfilled his dream and formed a band. he never said a thing about his feelings for you, therefore you never found out about them. little did he know that you felt the same way.
so there he was. sitting at his desk, forcing himself to come up with a new song. it was hard to think when all that was on his mind was you. he hadn’t seen you in a few weeks since he had been busy with work and so had you. he had contemplated inviting you over a few times but decided against it, being too much of a coward to even pick up the phone and call you. suddenly an idea popped up in his head. he had been wanting to confess his feelings for you for a while now and he finally came up with a plan to do so.
semi scanned the crowd for you, feeling relieved when he found you sitting next to your friend as he prepared to sing the next song, the one that he was dedicating to you. “this song goes to the person i’ve had feelings for since high school.” semi spoke into the mic. you immediately turned around in shock. what ? he liked someone? and the person that he liked was here ? you got lost in thought until the chorus of the song where you heard him sing. “and after all this time, i’m still into you.” you turned your attention back to him, shocked to find him already staring back at you. “i should be over all the butterflies, but i’m into you.” he said with a small smile as he pointed at you. at this point everyone’s eyes were on you as you stared at him in shock as he finished the song. seeing the smile on your face and your red cheeks, semi sighed in relief. “y/n l/n, i like you.”
— suna rintarou would confess with a not so simple after school confession. a simple after school confession is what suna had in mind. he would ask you to meet him after school before practice and tell you how he felt, if you rejected him you rejected him. it was that simple right ? nope. you and suna were childhood friends, his parents and yours were very close friends. both your parents had secretly hoped that the two of you would get together in your teenage years, suna hoped so too. he had formed a pretty big crush on you in the years that you had known eachother. but you were quite oblivious, he had dropped a few pretty obvious hints in the past but they all seemed to just fly over your head.
you we’re a little too excited to meet your best friend after school, running down the stairs wasn’t a very smart decision after all. you had tripped and sprained your ankle pretty badly. suna groaned when atsumu told him about it. of course it had to happen on the day where he finally gathered up all of his courage to confess to you. but he still rushed to the nurses office, anxious to finally see you. you smiled sheepishly as you spotted the boy walk through the door. “hi rin.” you said with a small smile. “sorry.. i got a little too excited to see you.” you admitted, cheeks tinted pink in embarrassment. suna sighed as he made his way over to the bed you were laying on, taking a seat at the foot of it. “you have to be more careful y/n,” he said quietly as he inspected your ankle.
“i won’t always be there to catch you.” he mumbled, refusing to make eye contact with you. your cheeks turned red at the tone of his voice. “rin, you know you don’t have to wait for me right ? i can just call my mom to pick me up.” you said, feeling guilty for making him wait. “no it’s alright, i can just give you a piggyback ride home.” he said casually. you blushed once more. “oh ! you said you wanted to tell me something right ? what was it ?” you asked. suna froze, uh oh. well it was now or never right. “uhh well, i’ve liked you since we were kids y/n. you probably don’t feel the same way and i understand.” he said quietly. your eyes widened in shock and your heart started beating faster. suna rintarou, pretty much the boy of your dreams, your current and childhood crush liked you back.

Pressing the "Play" button on your computer may have been the best decision of his life. The screen reflecting off his eyes as he watches in awe of your gorgeous voice. How did he not find this beforehand? He had heard you hum to yourself, "la"-ing the lyrics while you clean or study, but never once has he ever seen or heard you really sing. He hadn't even obtained the knowledge that you played guitar. Watching your fingers press down on the strings of the guitar on the neck, forcing a beautiful chord to ring out.
"What a sight for sore eyes," you sang; his eyebrows furrow at your pained expression, sorrow filling your chest as your pour your heart out into the microphone. He didn't know for sure, but it was almost like you meant it.
"She's got you mesmerized... while I die..."
His pupils dilate to your saddened figure- your back slouching forward as you strum your guitar. What happened to you?
"Hey, darling? Could you come here for a sec?" He half-closes the lid of the laptop, taking it off his lap before placing it gently on the bed he sits on, patiently waiting for you to arrive. You come in with a soft grin, happy to see your love again for the fortieth time today. "I want you to do something for me."
Your eyebrows twist in confusion, tilting your head while you lean on the trim of the door. "What is it?"
"Come here," he whispers, his fingers motioning to make your way towards him. You climb on the bed, criss-crossing your legs with your back straight as you listen for more. "I want you to sing for me."
"What."
"Sing the song you wrote back in high school. I want to hear it."
"That song wasn't- it wasn't for just anyone," you mumble, your eyes avoiding his.
"What do you mean?"
"I wrote it for someone that meant a lot to me back then."
"Could you do it for me?"
You shrug, dragging your head up to the ceiling as you stare at the tiny details engraved in the white paint.

Your voice matured so much from when you were in high school, your lovely vibrato showing a lot more now than back then and your notes stronger and more firm. He couldn't stop his mouth from gaping open at the sound; you were beautiful. This. This was beautiful.
"Who was it for?" He asks curiously once you finish.
"Oh, just some boy I liked back then. Never worked out, but I was pretty head over heels for him as you could tell," you awkwardly chuckle, your fingers pinching the fabric of your blanket.
"Thank you."
Your head perks up, "for?"
"Singing that one last time."
"What do you mean, Keiji?"
"You won't need to make another song like that ever again, you know. I'll be here forever."
His words sparked electricity in your veins, your heart stuttering just like it did when you two just started dating.
Making another song like that was out of the cards for you- even if you have decided a long time ago you weren't going to write another one, his words made the feeling feel more genuine, as you knew he meant every word.

“Only rainbows after rain, the sun will always come again.” Loss is something constant in Oikawa’s life, volleyball or relationships. After prelims he would sit alone in his room, mumbling the lyrics to himself before you try to cheer him up.
TSUKISHIMA- Green By Cavetown, idk a breakdown at 2 am?
Yeah cavetown, basic for tsukki but at least it isn’t lemon boy. Something about the line from the chorus, “You looked so good in green. I hope you’re well, And you look so good with him” screams relationship-unready tsukishima for some reason. The artist said that they were new to love and I think it fits Tsukishima well.
BOKUTO- Big Night by Big Time Rush, Liked Songs
First of all, yes I listen to big time rush. Secondly, I just think that someonewould play this during practice as a joke once but it’s stuck as their hype song and they just laugh about it afterwards. Plus I think the lyrics fit bokuto so well. “It’s gonna be a big night, we’re gonna have a good time.”

KUROO- Na Na Na By My Chemical Romance, emo me ??
I have zero explanation for this whatsoever, BUT- I can say that the energy of this song fits kuroo in some way. He is SHOUTING the lyrics after the game against Nohebi. And of course on the bus ride home the team is backing up with the (Na Na Na Na’s)
DAISHOU- Personal By HRVY, Absolute Bangers pt.2
Listen, listen, I am a Mika Stan 100% but, this song and daishou will live in my mind rent free. “I was young and she was my first love. So they say that you live and you learn.” You know?? It fits him, I don’t have an analysis.

I believe in Tendou listening to mother mother agenda. I know what the song is ‘supposed’ to mean, but I genuinely feel like this is a song on his “pre-game playlist”

Omimi playing piano as a relaxer for when he’s stressed about school and/or volleyball. If you were to ever ask him to play for you, he knows you’ll like this song, thigh pressed against his with your eyes closed as he plays.

He’s been classified as a playboy, doesn’t deny it but feels the smack on the back of his head when someone says he’s only gotten one ex to humble him. In contrast to the song talking about a guy who roams around picking up girls fits him in a way, though in a following song it tells of the wanderer getting his heart broken.

-Tsumu buying a big ass warm and cozy hoodie bc yn always steals his from his wardrobe and this is bc they smell like him and yn feels protected and love. Wearing Tsumus hoodie gives yn comfort and is like always being hug and supported. Just thinking about it makes my heart melt iabfiwjdbja

This is bc yn loves being comfortable during they hangout time or while editing or maybe filming (like uses a tshirt and then the pj bottom)

-For Akaashi I thought about a mug with some special tea. Also some books that he knows yn has in the "to buy"list hehe bc they talk and recommended each other some books. I loved the idea of Akaashi giving her poetry books or books with notes and underlined fragments bc those reminded him of her.

A/N: This had to be made. It can’t flop cuz it’s 3:30am here and I work at 8am so I suffered for this. I didn’t do Inarizaki because I’m not currently caught up and don’t want to butcher their characters, but if this does well I can add them in the future. Hinata: Hinata only listens to her hits. He lives for them. Especially the ones from the Red era I feel like. 22? Gets him going every. Damn. time. Same with We Are Never Getting Back Together. He really vibes with the more lighthearted airy sounding ones.
Kageyama: Kageyama would not listen to Taylor Swift. I literally can not see him listening to any music besides maybe like intense anime osts to motivate him lol. Would probably only listen to her hits if they came on the radio.
Suga: Suga literally lives for the entire Fearless album. His favorites are definitely the more popular nostalgic ones like Love Story or You Belong With Me. It’s just so reminiscent of his younger days and he will blast those songs in the car. I headcanon he vibes with Tell Me Why so hard tho.
Daichi: I’m sorry I can not envision him listening to any Taylor Swift songs that aren’t from her first two albums. He is a big fan of Our Song and I’m Only Me When I’m With You. Probably likes Mine.
Tsuki: Also doesn’t give a fuck about Taylor Swift. Yamaguchi literally listens to her all the time though, so he sometimes does too. Won’t admit it, but he highkey vibes to Reputation. Says This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things is stupid, but honestly jams out everytime anyone plays it. THINKS LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO IS GOOD I-
Yamaguchi: Every single one. He is a hardcore swiftie. You can’t convince me otherwise. I think he prefers her newer stuff though. His favorite album is either Lover or 1989, but he vibes with Reputation too. Would simp for the self-discovery songs the most because he can relate. The Archer, Delicate, Clean.
Asahi: Exclusively listens to Folklore. He’s not really here for the heartbreak as much as he is for the mellow vibes. Cries to Exile. Really vibes to Invisible String.
Nishinoya: All the hype songs. Especially the ones from 1989. Literally will blast Bad Blood and Out Of The Woods in the car and scream all the words. He definitely likes Paper Rings too.
Tanaka: Basically the same as Noya but I think his bubble would expand past just 1989. He would bump hard to some of the Rep songs. Thinks the “rap songs” are edgy. End Game? Yeah, he knows the entire rap verse. ...Ready For It? This bitch will rap the entire song.
Aoba Johsai
Oikawa: Got pissed when Taylor switched to pop. Pretends to be an avid “old Taylor” fan, but got exposed when Iwaizumi caught him blasting Getaway Car one day. He likes to pretend to be a pretentious shit, but he literally is such a simp for the bubblegum pop romantic songs like London Boy, King of My Heart, How You Get The Girl, etc. Don’t get me wrong though, he is very in love with old Taylor too. Better Than Revenge is in his “angery 😤😡” playlist. Cries to Long Live because it reminds him of his team. Definitely has a crush on Taylor Swift.
Iwaizumi: Mostly listens to old Taylor. Pretends like he doesn’t enjoy it, but Oikawa’s been rubbing off on him a little and some of the songs are catchy, aokay?! I think he would enjoy the more rock sounding songs off of Red like State of Grace or Holy Ground.
Nekoma
Kuroo: Likes the sexier sounding ones. Not because we are sexualizing this king, but I think he enjoys the mature sounds and they’re all kind of vibey. False God, Style and Don’t Blame Me are his jams. Man has good taste
Kenma: Only listens to Minecraft ost
Yaku: Would also vibe to 1989. Shake It Off, Blank Space and I Know Places are some of his favorites from the album. Probably gets embarrassed so he listens to Taylor when he’s by himself or slides it into the queue occasionally in the car.
Lev: Oh my hell. He definitely listens to her worst songs and thinks they’re bops. He would. Stay Stay Stay? Yeah he would get married to that song. I also lowkey think he would be really touched by some of her songs about family since he’s so close with his sister. Never Grow Up and the Best Day probably get him a little emotional.
Fukurodani
Bokuto: Hinata introduced him to her pop hits. He was very curious and literally could NOT stop bumping to Me! and so he did more research. Now he literally always listens to her screaming/crying songs. Will blast that shit in the car and cry and it’s definitely very cathartic for him. Ever since this discovery the frequency of dejected mode goes down significantly. Everyone wonders why, but Akaashi’s intuition (he walked in on Bokuto screaming “HEY YOU CALL ME UP AGAIN JUST TO BREAK ME LIKE A PROMISE” one time) tells him it’s because he has a new outlet. Claims to be able to sing the long note in Dear John. Whether he can or not is subjective.
Akaashi: A poetic king with amazing taste. Listens to the songs for the LYRICS. He probably really enjoys Folklore because it’s more mellow and has some amazing lyricism, but he is definitely a fan of some of the more hidden gems as well. The dramatic heartbreaking ones sometimes grab his attention too. The Lakes, Cornelia Street, The Last Time, Breathe and Come Back… Be Here are some of his favorites.

Akaashi Keiji
Whenever he can hear his daughter crying in the middle of the night, he’s trained to tell if it’s because of a nightmare or if she has a stomachache and this time it was because of a nightmare
He goes to her room because he likes to take care of her and sometimes you need a break so he’s here to do that
Akaashi picks her up and starts bouncing her up and down while cooing at her
But even though she doesn’t quiet down, he starts whispering stories to her
Stories about you, stories about his past, stories about almost anything
His voice is very soothing to his daughter, so with the rocking and the soft voice, she starts falling asleep and he sets her back down to sleep
Akaashi is extremely patient with his daughter and she loves him best so his soft voice really calms her down
Suna Rintarou
Suna bought something someday that would spin and play music and his daughter would fall asleep to the sound of that
However, one day it broke and he found out the hard way that music was the only way to make her fall asleep
He picks her up and starts humming while rocking her
He tends to sing some lyrics at times and then start humming again while pacing her room and rocking her and just from that she’s fallen asleep
One time you came in as he was humming and you joke that you don’t need to buy another machine when you’ve got him and he just stared at you
But he does have a soft spot for his daughter, so he’d do anything for her
Hirugami Sachirou
He knows almost all the tricks on how to get a baby sleepy beforehand, so he’s the one supplying milk bottles and it makes his daughter sleepy, but not enough for her to close her eyes
He sets her down on her crib and starts talking softly to her as if she can respond
His voice can make her drowsy, if she wasn’t already before and he has learned that babies tend to make themselves fall asleep after being fatigued
However, if she wakes up crying in the middle of the night, he picks her up and he has a rocking chair in her room for this reason: he rocks back and forth on the chair while mumbling to her
The movements always work like a charm
Hirugami knows all the tips and tricks when it comes to putting his daughter to sleep, so it comes easier to him than anything and besides he likes doing it so you can relax from taking care of her most of the time
Atsumu Miya
He is so SOFT when it comes to his daughter, he’s so eager to be the one to put her to sleep every night
He always feeds her a bottle before bed and rocks her whilst taking her to bed
She usually goes to sleep right after that, but there are moments where she will wake up in the middle of the night
He has made himself the one that will make her fall asleep again so that you don’t have to worry about that
How he makes her fall back asleep? Singing, he’s actually a good singer, his quiet voice knocks her out like a nightlight
They’re varied songs and you have caught him singing punk songs but in a quiet voice and you just stood there like O_O how--?
But anyways, he’s really good at sending her to sleep, 10/10
