˖ ࣪⊹ he sat In front of his desk doing his assignment his focus on them as you watched from the other side. It was weird the feeling that you’ll both be graduating soon. That you won’t see each other every day because of school, the sickening feeling of being accepted into different universities. Having to possibly work long-distance relationships.

The nightmare of breaking up because of that, living far away and not being able to work a relationship, the fights, the stress. That you wouldn’t be with him for the rest of your life that all of the talk of having a future might have just been talk… “I can feel you staring..”

You didn’t say anything just watched him you could feel your self starting to cry. All of it being so overwhelming, that maybe just maybe he won’t be yours anymore, that all of the memories and moments you’ve created and shared we to be forgotten. That he’d give up on you, that your ‘difficult’ nature would get rid of him even after all this time. That he’d get tired of you.

His eyes finally left if paper meeting your teary eyes, his brows frowning “love what’s wrong?” He asked his hand coming to cup your face whipping away stray tears that slipped down your face. “Common talk to be baby..”

“Please don’t give up on me..” you sobbed, “please..” his eyes filled with concern and he moved you close to him. “My love what makes you think that I’d give up on you, ever.” He asked his attention fully in you now.

You could only shake your head, nothing really just these intrusive thoughts that haunted you because you did want to be with anyone that he was the person you could only see yourself with ever. “I don’t know..” you muttered a frown plastered on your wet face.

“Hey, hey listen to me, just because we’re graduating doesn’t mean I’m gonna leave you. I dosent mean that if we go to different universities I’m not ever gonna take a train to come see you even if I’m traveling across the country. That I won’t call you every chance I get, hell I’d transfer schools if needed no matter how hard it is. No matter how angry we get at eachother I’d be right by your side once again. Because every day I wake up, every time I go to sleep I hope in the morning you’ll still be mine.” He spoke in full sincerity.

God his heart broke that you thought he’d ever give up on you because he may not be as open and giving to others but lord with you. With you it’s different his mindset is heart is so open, and he doesn’t want that with anyone else how could he? When you were right in front of him.

You were perfection no matter what. He pulled you ups to his lap your arms wrapping around his neck and his lips kissed your neck and shoulders softly. “I don’t want anyone but you.”

Arguably the most supportive of the group

Not arguably actually, it’s facts

First off, Akaashi is the kind of guy who is going to have a tool belt of useful information and techniques at the ready

Let’s just say, this isn’t his first rodeo ok?

He knows you struggle with mental health because he he asks you about it!

Like Suga says, it’s a setters job to ask how their teammates are doing!

Akaashi just carries that outside of the game

So when you start having a mental breakdown, the first thing Akaashi is going to do is ask you what you need from him

Whether it be a hug, space, help with breathing techniques, this man has got you 👏🏻

He’s going to do whatever he can to help you through it

After things have calmed down, he is definitely going to continue to monitor your situation

He’s going to take time to make sure you are ok and he won’t leave you alone!

Even if he can’t be there, he will make sure your friends or parents are available for you

11/10 support system

Kuroo

He’s a literal dad

This man handles things with dad like behavior

He’s always watching out for you and making sure that you are mentally, emotionally and physically healthy

He monitors your water intake, food intake and your mental status multiple times a day

Please he had a system in place!

He will text you to make sure you’ve drank all your water and make sure you aren’t working to hard

But even thought he’s diligent, sometimes things happen

And mental health isn’t cut and dry

So if you do have a panic attack or just a mental break, he’s there for you

He’s not as efficient as Akaashi but he still asks you what you need

His first instinct is to be near you

But if you ask him for space, he will gladly give it to you but will still stay in the same vicinity

He always has food and water by him if you need it

If you need to talk, he will listen and give great advice

If you need a hug, man is a giant and will give you one in .02 seconds!

Bokuto

✋🏻alright let’s be honest here-

I love this man with all my heart and as much as I’d love to say he would be amazing 😅

Ok let me give him this, he is very aware of your needs

He’s attentive to you but not always emotionally

He is very affectionate and will always comfort you

But man’s struggles with his own emotions so it’s kind of hard for him to help regulate

If you do have a mental breakdown in front of him, he is immediately going to be right there

And he is going to hug you

I do feel like he would respect you if you didn’t want to be touched but would it hurt his feelings? Yes, yes it would

If you have an emotional or mental breakdown, Bokuto is going to have one

You are this man’s pride and joy and he will immediately feel what you feel

He is weirdly good at reassuring you that everything will be ok tho

Like you know he will be there to help you if you need him!

He’s 100% that “it’s you and me against the world” partner

7/10 help during a mental breakdown but 100/10 gives the best hugs

BOKUTO

Bokuto has always been your boy next door. Your whole life, Bokuto has lived in the house right next to you and from a young age, the two of you became very close. However, you've never dated or been romantic with him in any way.

Unlike the others in this story, Bokuto doesn't attend the same college as you. Instead, he stays home to help with the family business; he and his grandpa run a diner downtown: The Jukebox.

PHOEBE (PHEEBS)

Originally from Greece, Pheobe moved to Japan during your sophomore year in high school at the two of you have been inseparable ever since. She's your best friend and, now that you're in college, she's also your dormmate. If all of this isn't enough to prove she knows every little feeling you've had for Bokuto ever, she's also majoring in psychology.

She's quite beautiful with her long brown hair and green eyes that stare so deep into your soul. But just like Aphrodite, despite her beautiful looks, you wouldn't want to get on her bad side.

KUROO

One of Bokuto's best friends who goes to your college as well, majoring in forensic sciences. You've known him since the beginning of middle school when Bokuto introduced you to him.

KENJI

A friend that you met in your first-year English class. He has a huge crush on Akaashi and they're both in all the same classes. Kenji has a journalism major. He's always quite easy to spot with his big smile and wide brown eyes. But despite his innocent appearance, he is anything but.

KENMA

Kenma's another friend of yours whom you met around the end of middle school through Kuroo. Though he didn't attend the same high school as you, he's in the same college now as a digital media technology major.

CADEN

Your asshole of an ex who dumped you because he didn't want to be in a serious relationship for his second year of college despite the fact you had dated for four months from June to September. However, he was either smoking or snorting something ninety percent of the time.

He's easy to spot with his black cross earring in his left ear and a large black neck tattoo on the same side.

AKAASHI

You met Akaashi in elementary school. You'd always spot him and Bokuto playing in the yard next to him and, one day when you had the courage, you went over and introduced yourself. Like Kenji, he also has a journalism major.

anyways you come up to them to buckle them up with him first and he doesn’t really notice anything but you buckle the first strap really tight and he’s like “does it need to be so tight 😘” and you tell him, making eye contact, using your best customer service voice (vocal bottoming but at least you get paid) and with a pretty smile on your face that doesn’t reach your eyes, “yes, unless you want to die. and if you do, don’t do it on this ride because my shift ends in ten minutes and i don’t want to stay here to write a report about a dumbass who ko’d on a roller coaster 🥰” and he BLUSHES oop— 👁👅👁

iwaizumi: when someone is putting the car in reverse and they put their hand on the back of your seat iwaizumi been interested in you for a while, and ever since he came to the revelation he finds it really hard to talk to you because he’s afraid of coming off too aggressive or you figuring it out 😔💔 good thing kindaichi reveals that you’re his older cousin and that you’ll be driving some of them to their next practice match because the volleyball team’s bus is out for a checkup!! 😍😘 oikawa, matsukawa and hanamaki all force him to sit shotgun as you drive (even kunimi and yahaba get in on it). iwaizumi grumbles about it and all but he’s secretly super happy he gets to be right next to you omg 👀😭 he takes a bunch of glances around the interior of your (parents’) car and sits a little straighter than he usually would.

he can feel the stares on the back of his head from the other third years egging him on to make a move and just when he works up the nerve to say something to you, you put the car in reverse to back out the parking spot and put your hand on the back of his seat 😳😤 iwaizumi thinks you look so cool AND HOT he clams up and just stares at you with his jaw slightly open 👁👄👁 💕pls save him 🤧

matsukawa: when a girl puts her hand up to yours and remarks on how yours is so much bigger you got randomly paired up with each other to do a presentation for your world history class and so you’re sitting next to each other on a saturday afternoon at the public library doing research together. matsukawa spent more time than he would like thinking about what to wear because he doesn’t want you to think that his fashion sense was as grotesque as the school’s khaki pants 😷🤢 (when you complimented him nonchalantly about how he looks a million times better in casual clothes compared to the school uniform and joking said that he should start a petition to get rid of the school’s ugly khaki plaid pants and skirts and use a photo of what he was wearing today as the main piece of evidence, he almost doubles over 💀)

you’re sitting next to each other and he’s still kinda reeling from the previous interaction ahjdalhd but he does his best to pull his weight. he’s taking notes in a notebook and you look over and comment out of the blue that his hands are really big as you look at yours 🤧👀 he blinks and looks at you like “yeah?” and you nod, putting your hand up and he does it too because he thinks he’s having a fever dream at this point, but not even in his wildest dream did he’’d ever think you’d push your palm against his and say “your hand is so big! 😳” he has to excuse himself to go to the washroom to scream 😘🥰❤️

hanamaki: when you’re sitting next to someone on public transport and the centrifugal force from the vehicle firmly mooshes the two of you together hanamaki pines for you silently and you can’t really tell he likes you because he’s pretty decent at keeping his emotions hidden. or maybe you’re just so busy with your senior year you don’t notice anything that isn’t the impending doom of university applications and keeping your grades up 😤😇 anyways the two of you get on and off at the same stop each day (which he secretly thanks god for 😭) and you’re sitting next to each other and hanamaki thinks he’s gonna combust because you’ve never been this close!! 🥺🥰

he can feel his hands getting sweaty already. hanamaki sneaks glances at you and tries to see what you’re doing on your phone LMFAO suddenly, the train lurches a bit and you slide from the inertia right into his side and then he can feel the warmth coming from your thighs, side and your shoulder are touching holy sh— 😭❤️😵👀💖 you look up to apologize as he takes a breath and you’re a little shy in your apology but he takes that chance to ask you about something mundane and he makes you laugh!!!! he thinks about the interaction for the next two weeks because he finally got to talk to you dhaskld ☺️🥺💕

kyoutani: when anyone raises their arms to stretch and their shirt gets lifted up slightly gym class—you’re doing timed runs today!! kyoutani is already finished with his so he’s just sitting off the side of the track, staring not-so-subtly at you but you don’t notice because it’s your turn next!! you’ve got the typical school mandated shorts and plain t-shirt on but kyou is all 👀 at your tastefully exposed skin. he thinks you look pretty with the sun hitting your face as you give a smile to your friend, squinting at the sun light 🥰

he’s just mindlessly staring at this point but then you raise your arms to stretch your triceps and the hem of your shirt rises up a little to expose the tiniest sliver of skin before it’s covered again 👁👁 his cheeks pink a little and you catch him looking LMFAO but you don’t think anything of it and just smile and wave as kyoutani burns bright red, heart battering against his ribs and looks away 😡🤡🥰💕 he saves it for future reference HURDURDUR 😇😛

ushijima: when a woman does that thing where she tucks her hair behind her ear while making direct eye contact ushijima is INTERESTED in you, likes you, is intrigued, would like to hold your hand and rub the back of your hand and feel the soft skin with his thumb—same thing 🥰 you’re talking to him about something for the cultural festival and he’s nodding along to what you’re saying because you’re so brilliant and responsible for working on the school festival committee wOW 🤩

time seems to move in slow motion as you look up him whilst tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. he zones in on the shy smile on your face, your cute cheeks, glossy lips and pretty eyes 🥺🥰 “ushijima-san?” “yes?” “what do you think?” “that’s a great idea, I will ask my team members for their input as well.” you nod exuberantly even though he has no idea what you’re talking about but your cute smile makes him all mushy on the inside 💖💕

tendou: having someone else play with your hair satori sees you on cleaning duty carrying the recycling to the bins as he finishes his runs around the school, about to make a turn to the gyms. he makes a beeline for you, calling your name with a bright smile on his face and waving his arms in the air. 🥰💞🥺

he bounds up to you and offers to help even though the bin is really light, cheeks warming at your smile 😊 when he takes the bin out of your hands , you wave your hand to get him to bend down. he complies, eyes widening when he feels your hand in his hair. he straightens up to see you holding onto a couple pieces of cherry blossom petals 🌸 he laughs bashfully; it feels like time has slowed and you’re the only two people in the world 💖💕

sakusa: if you’re on a pc/laptop, somebody leaning over your shoulder to look at the screen with you. the close proximity of your faces can feel awkwardly sexual you’re in the same kinesiology class and sakusa first noticed how GOOD your presentations are wtf and he’s even more impressed when he hears that you winged the whole thing because “i conveniently forgot about this until one in the morning when I decided it was a good time to reorganize your entire dorm room” ALSO you offered him hand cream the one time you caught him staring and against all reason he said yes and ever since he’s been dying to ask you where you got it from because HOLY was it nice 😍

you get paired up for the final pair presentation and he’s only become more interested in you! you’re easy to talk to and don’t pry too much and he finds himself oversharing at times 💀 the professor gives the class part of the lecture time to work on the projects so you’re sitting next to each other working when he asks you a question about the academic article he just found and you lean over his shoulder to look at his screen 👁👁 for anyone else, the close proximity of your faces would have grossed him out but he can’t stop thinking about how good you smell and how cute your ears look 👀🥰 when you tell him he’s found a really good source with an excited smile on your face, he BLUSHES and promptly wants to pass away because he has no mask on to cover him 🤡😭😵

Two weeks later, winter break finally approaches. You’re about to have the whole week off of school, and you’re probably going to spend most of your time working at the diner with Bokuto. Not that you mind. You quite enjoy being there. And Kenji does, too, now that he and Akaashi both have actual jobs there together.

On Sunday, you approach Bokuto with some good news. Since you have the whole week off, you’ll be staying at your house for the week. And you finally have the whole house to yourself.

“Hey,” you smile as you walk into the kitchen with an order from one of the last tables of the night. “Got a sec?”

“Are you really asking me that while giving me an order?” he chuckles, accepting the paper and reading it over quickly.

“It’ll be quick, I promise.”

“You two need a minute?” Al asks, turning around.

Bokuto smiles sheepishly at the old man who he considers family. “Only if you don’t mind…”

“Nah. I gotta take a mean piss anyway. I’ve been holdin’ it in for a good hour. Gives me an excuse to go,” he shrugs before walking out without noticing how Bokuto’s jaw hangs on the ground.

“So, uh, what’s going on?” he then asks after collecting himself.

“I wanted to ask if you’d stay with me for winter break. My dad is god only knows where and my mom said she’s going to be staying at her girlfriend’s house for a little while,” you smile.

“So you’re inviting me to stay at your empty house instead of staying at my empty house which is right next door…”

“My mom just went shopping and the fridge is full,” you smile.

“You’re pretty good at negotiating,” Bokuto hums as he wraps his arms around your waist. “Consider me in.”

With a smile, Bokuto kisses you softly. Your eyes flutter close at his gentle touch, sinking into the moment. Well, until Al comes back and makes his presence known by clearing his throat loudly and saying “I’m going to walk in now! There better not be any shenanigans going on back there! This is a business you know!”

“We know, Al,” Bokuto replies, smiling down at you and rolling his eyes teasingly. “It’s safe to come back.”

“Mind if I head back a bit early tonight?” you then ask him. “I just wanted to get a few things from my dorm super quick. Then I’ll meet you at my house if that’s okay.”

“Sure, just be careful. Al told me before that it’s going to snow.”

Later that night, after pulling a few things together from your dorm, you drive over to your house. You make sure to drive carefully, snow is starting to fall for the first time this winter. And when you arrive, you pull your car into your empty driveway. Then, just as you’re about to get out of the car, you notice Bokuto approaching from his front yard.

“Hey,” he waves with one hand, seeming to be carrying something heavy in a plastic bag in the other hand.

“Hey,” you smile back. “What’ve you got there?”

“Essentials,” he replies vaguely as he holds up the bag.

“Essentials? Mhm, okay. You know it’s snowing, right? What’re you doing standing out here in the cold?” you chuckle.

“You happened to be driving past just when I looked out the window so I grabbed my bag and came out,” he answers with a shrug.

“Okay, well can we talk inside? It’s cold and I still want to know what’s in the bag.”

Bokuto agrees and follows you into your house. “Hello!” you call out, just in case of the off-chance that maybe your dad is back from wherever he’s been. However, nobody answers your call.

After you take off your shoes, Bokuto makes his way into the kitchen. You watch carefully as he sets down the bag on the table and takes a step away from it.

“Since you’re so curious,” he grins, pointing to the back, “Look.”

With a smile, you approach the bag and pull the sides down to see what’s inside- two white styrofoam boxes. Gently, you pick up one of the boxes and place it down on the table. And when you open it, you see a slightly messy hamburger inside.

“Did you make these?” you ask him while trying not to foam at the mouth. “God, they look so good.”

“After you left, yeah. I figured since I was in a kitchen I’d make us some dinner. Are you hungry?”

“Starving!” you answer as you pass the hamburger in his direction. “Here, you take this one I’ll grab the other.”

Bokuto smiles to himself as he sits down. However, you hardly even notice the look of happiness on his face as you devour your food.

Once it’s all said and done- which pretty much happened in the blink of an eye- you quickly clean up your things and make your way over to the couch.

Bokuto wraps his arm around you and you lean your head against his shoulder. Together, you both look out at the window, the snow softly falling down.

“I heard we’re going to get a snowstorm,” Bokuto thinks aloud as he stares off into nowhere.

“Hm, maybe we’ll get stuck here overnight,” you chuckle, knowing full well you have no intentions of leaving either way. After all, you do have the week off from school.

“I don’t think I’d complain if that happens,” he answers, nodding while side-hugging you closer to him. “Especially since I’ve got you here.”

Haikyuu!! Boys and coffee mugs I think they would use

Characters: Akaashi, Washio, Konoha, Kita, Suna, Ushijima, Yamagata, Yahaba, Iwaizumi, Futakuchi, Daishou, Numai and Iizuna

**This one will be made a little different than I normally make them, but I had an idea for this one and I wanted to do it~**

Akaashi Keiji:

He was looking for a coffee mug on amazon.

This one popped up and it made him laugh so he thought, “why not”

It does make him smile, even if it doesn’t actually stop anyone from talking to him.

Washio Tatsuki:

It’s a nice, simple, reliable mug.

It’s one of those nice stone ones, so it’s gonna last him awhile.

He just likes it!

Konoha Akinori:

Komi got it for him when Konoha got him as his Secret Santa.

Komi got the words “Jack of all trades, master of none” printed on the cup.

It may have been 20$ but the scream that left Konoha was completely worth it.

Kita Shinsuke:

It was a house warming gift from his grandmother!

When her grandchildren were born, she bought a nice china set, so when they were older she would evenly divide it amongst them!

When Kita moved out into his own place, she gave him some of the mugs! This one became his favorite.

Suna Rintaro:

OKAY SO- it was a prank gift from the twins.

They hadn’t expected him to actually use it!!

I mean, it’s a nice cup...might as well~

Ushijima Wakatoshi:

Tendo got it for him for Christmas.

He didn’t really get the joke, but he appreciated the gift

Later Leon and Semi explained it to him, so now he smiles every time he uses it..

Yamagata Hayato:

It was a gift from his little sisters!!

They made it for him for his birthday, and it almost brought him to tears.

He’s always really careful with it, and he doesn’t even care about any second glances or teases people give him.

Leon Ohira:

He was looking for a set to have around in his dorm.

He was out with the other 3rd years shopping and what not, when he saw that in one of the stores.

He really liked the colors! And they seemed like nice mugs!

Yahaba Shigeru:

This one is pretty self-explanatory...

Even odds whether someone got it for him or he just got it for himself lol.

It makes him smirk a little, it’s a nice little confidence boost every morning before school too.

Iwaizumi Hajime:

Makki got it for him for his birthday.

You would not believe the way he cackled when he opened it.

He’s not fond of the flowers...but he very much appreciates the sass it adds so he welcomes them.

Futakuchi Kenji:

This was a gift from his grandparents!

They got it for him as a congratulation gift when he made captain!!

He may seem like a brat, but this present almost brought him to tears.

Daishou Suguru:

Bought it for himself LOL.

And by that, I mean he bought it, wrapped it, and put it under the tree just so he could open it on Christmas day.

Still uses it, even years after

Numai Kazuma:

His brothers got it for him after the semi-finals...

Y’know, after the dislocated thumb AND the loss.

DON’T WORRY, HE THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY- he just beat his brother after he stopped laughing.

Iizuna Tsukasa:

My sister has a bunch of these, and he strikes me as someone who would have them too.

They’re those metallic camping ones, but they’ve become really popular.

He just seems like someone who would like to camp, and I see him using this type of mug.

Yamaguchi Tadashi:

He was out with the other Karasuno first years (yes, Tsukishima was there too) and he and Yachi saw this in a shop!

It made him laugh, so he bought it.

Even happier when Tsukishima chuckled at it, it is the single best purchase he’s ever made.
