an introduction to who i am:

Hi. I’m 18 years old and I just finished high school. I'm starting my first year of university in February and I'm still new to this whole studyblr thing.

My studyblr is called ’speechiestudies’, but being a Speech Pathologist is my dream career which I’m on the way to right now. I’ll be studying an undergraduate double degree of Psychology along with Speech and Hearing Sciences.

I procrastinate A LOT, but I’m hoping this account will help me stay motivated and accountable. This account is pretty much part of my 'getting my life together’ journey where I’m going to try and be a better person - mentally, physically, educationally (?) and a couple of other ways too.

to hold some accountability in my life and develop / maintain good study habits. i’ve realised that reblogging countless masterposts, study tips and studyspo will motivate and inspire me to study but, i don’t actually apply said advice to my life. so by being directly involved in the community, i hope i can be more consistent and responsible for my studying.

wokay geog took me a lil longer than expected i guess i 'overthought' and went searching for a few more articles to read up on? but still it was interesting to make connections between what i was studying and the natural disasters that are happening in the world right now. i find that relevance to real life makes studying easier and it was heartwarming to see all the instances when the international community rallied together to help disaster victims :")

moving on i hope to finish a math paper and chinese paper in the afternoon;-; it's gonna be a lil tough but i have faith in my writing speed HAHAHA

Right so I’m still figuring out what to post. But yea here’s me making legal notes. I know the lighting isn’t great, but photo taking is a work in progress. Also since Duolingo now has Latin I might start learning that. I’ve kinda always wanted to learn Latin cause it seems like it’d be useful.

handwriting challenge!

heyo!! it’s sammy!

i’ve been going through popular tags amongst the studyblr community and i came across the handwriting challenge!

basically, you need to write the alphabet in lowercase and uppercase, numbers and your handwriting (by writing « the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog ») when neat and when rushed!!

my handwriting isn’t the best but i think it’s understandable to read and easy to write, so that’s fine by me!!!
