Vico Equense is part of the greater Bay of Naples metropolitan area and is a tourist destination. Located on a tuff cliff, it is relatively close to Mt. Vesuvius and the ancient town of Pompeii. The town is bordered by Castellammare di Stabia, Meta and Piano di Sorrento. The Church of the Annunciation was the cathedral of the Diocese of Vico Equense, until 1818. Built in the early 14th century on a clifftop overlooking the sea, it is an example of Gothic architecture, while the facade is in Baroque style. 47 years old and looking so fly! 😁 Gosh! I’m so proud of myself. 💪 In my 47 years of existence, my body has endured extreme physical, mental and emotional trauma. And you know what? I’m still here! How? Well, I don’t think that it’s because I’m strong. I think, I’m still here because I’m FUCKING CRAZY! 🤪 Yesterday, I descended and also climbed back up a very steep rocky hill (maybe about 4 stories high) off the Amalfi Coast, just to swim and chill at this beach! 😂 Nothing was going to stop me! 💪 I’d told my friend the day before, “I’m so ready to go on an adventure!” Oh shit! Be careful what you wish for ‘cause you might get it all, they say. We survived the adventure. We’re good. 😉

This place is called Erchie. It’s located in Maiori off the Amalfi Coast. The sea is so crystalline! 😍 It’s not well known; so, there aren’t many people at the beach. It’s the perfect place to relax and have some peace by enjoying the view. Would I’ll be coming back to Erchie? Absolutely yes! Would I’ll be climbing the hill again? NO! Next time, I’ll rent a boat. 😉💙🇮🇹 Greetings from Italy! 😘
