He finds you falling apart; in complete shambles, a sobbing mess.
Malleus
He isn't certain how to handle such strong emotions, he doesn't know what to do when he finds you sobbing in the garden. As the tears fall down your cheeks and you mutter apologies to the fae, All he can do is sit next to you and kindly offer his shoulder and words of comfort, waiting for you to calm down so he may ask what is causing your soul such misery.
He hopes you will communicate what it is he could do to assist you. If a hug is what you need, he shall provide. If silence is what you wish for, he will grant it as such. If you are in dire need of a distraction, he knows a place you will adore while he speaks about its history. He is not the type to simply assume what will help in this situation- he will awkwardly hover until you guide him to the best possible course of action.
You must expect to find new trinkets and shiny objects to come your way for the next week- he wants to make it abundantly clear he wishes for you to smile once more, and he hopes to achieve that by his little gifts.
"My dearest, what causes these tears to flow so heavy from your eyes? Whatever it may be, I shall be by your side and face it with you, for you needn't suffer alone. Now tell me, who do I need to confront for stealing your precious smile away from me?"
Lilia
Lilia had known the ins and outs of emotions fairly well. He could easily read people- you were no exception. He understands immediately if you need a hug, to be left in peace, or to be endlessly pampered. Upon hearing your painful wails of sorrow, he was quick to react.
Any attemps at apologizing to him for your sobs were fallen upon deaf ears. You were quickly chastised for those "sorrys" and were engulfed in his embrace, his hand stroking your hair or rubbing circles on your back gently with a tune of old escaping his lips. He had used this method for his inconsolable children in the past, and he found it just as effective for adults as well.
Even thanking the fae for being there for you was also quickly shut down. He insists that you need not thank or apologize to him for your tears, for you were important to him thus it was a requirement he be there in your time of misery. You felt comfortable talking to him about your woes, the red eyed fae listening intently whilst brewing you tea, setting up video games, or cooking you a meal (you didn't have much of the energy to reject this offer, he was doing it purely out of concern for your being. Crying takes a lot of of someone, he must do his due diligence and be certain you are properly sustained!)
"Ah...it pains me to see such tears. Remember, time moves forward, and you shall prevail past this little bump in the road, my little bat. Would you like to talk to me about it? I give good advice, if I do say so myself! Or shall we change the pace and play some games? I am not moving from this spot until you are smiling and laughing again!"
Kisses, cuddles, and comfort <3

Hi Sam, how did you come to the conclusion you should be tested for neurodivergence? I've been reading a lot of Temple Grandin (Visual Thinking is fantastic) and see so much of myself in her books. But, I, too, am, let's just say well into adulthood, and I don't know if my life would change that much with a diagnosis. The only thing I can think of doing with a diagnosis is telling my siblings and childhood bullies that they picked on someone who had a reason for being "weird." But it doesn't change anything. Beyond the medication, did you find any solace? Thank you for sharing your journey.
I was just thinking I should do a post about this....
I don't recall the specifics and have never been able to find the post again, but sometime prior to 2019 I made a joke about having a short attention span, and someone said something like "Oh, did you finally get a diagnosis?" and I said haha no, I don't have ADHD, and a bunch of readers went, "Uh, you very clearly do." Some of them added that they thought I knew and was just being discreet about it. (As if I have ever been discreet about anything in my life.)
So I figured, okay, probably there's some level of neurodivergence there, given that my mother and siblings all have various diagnoses, and my father was clearly autistic. (Knowing what we know now about how ADHD can mask as other mental illnesses, there's a strong chance this comes from my maternal grandmother, who was the person in the family I was most like when she was alive.) I tried a couple of times to get evaluated and always had either slow or nonexistent responses from the clinics I reached out to, so I stopped trying. I had a ton of coping mechanisms in place and was in a good spot in my life, so I thought honestly, what would it change?
But by the end of 2021, while I was still in a pretty good financial place, and my career was doing well, I could tell that if things kept up as they were I was going to tank my job purely through being unable to get through a day doing productive work the way I used to.
I thought, well, if this is ADHD and it's getting worse because the whole fucking world is on fire, I have two options: I can assume I have it and just do the reading and figure shit out on my own, or I can get evaluated, get professional advice, and possibly get medicated. That seemed like the best return on investment, so that's what I worked on. My goal was primarily medication, because I didn't see myself being able to change much else about my situation on my own. And, truthfully, medication has been the biggest change -- I actually have an essay about that queued for the anniversary of my starting Adderall. But while it hasn't been a massive life-altering world-shattering change, all of this was worth it purely for the medication.
Uh, momentary sidebar in my memoir: there are downsides to having a diagnosed disability -- discrimination, legal barriers to certain things like holding government jobs or adopting, etc. Those have to be weighed when you're considering evaluation. If you think you may have autism, there's not necessarily an advantage to having a formal diagnosis unless you need accommodations; if you think you may have ADHD, the huge advantage is access to medication, which doesn't exist for autism as far as I'm aware. So your particular flavor of neurodivergence might dictate whether you get a diagnosis, or whether you just start operating on the assumption you have it. Both are valid, I think, it really depends on what's going on in your life and what you want to change.
Anyway, I have been doing other research, reading journal articles and pop psychology and talking to people, and that's been good, but even if I had none of that, the medication has been so helpful in getting me back on an even keel and then making life even better.
This sounds kind of weird to say but I'm not generally someone who needs a lot of solace. There is some relief in knowing that at least some of my fuckups in life weren't something I could have prevented by simply having more strength of character or working harder, and that's nice, but it's something I could have had without a formal diagnosis -- just like you could simply tell your siblings and bullies you have a diagnosis. (Being real, I doubt they'd care; bullies gonna bully whether you had a reason to be weird or not, and none of that would have been your fault regardless of your neurology. But it's all very situational, as I'm sure you know.) I wasn't badly bullied as a kid and there's nobody really to...tell, in the sense you're thinking of. But I didn't get into it for emotional solace; I got into it to fix a life that was, albeit extremely slowly, starting to fall apart. So if you're someone, as most people are, who derives emotional satisfaction or catharsis from having the diagnosis, I think it probably would be pretty helpful. But even if you aren't, like me, if you can get medication or accomodations, I think it's worth it.

🧿 Protection Messages 🧿
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
( Left to right )
Pile #1
Curiosity• Pure Intentions vs hidden intentions• Silence• Privacy• Discernment• Perception• Wisdom• Naivety
Be mindful, of giving or receiving too much unsolicited advice or help. This is more of a time of silence & using your own discernment. People may not take too kindly to your words & might attack you or misrepresent you.
There’s a lot of noisy or opportunistic people around you. Keep your personal business, to yourself at time. Don’t speak about what you’re doing, possibly creating or have coming to you. There’s a vibe of: your birthday is coming, and people are waiting for you to get your cake. They’re waiting for you to get your cake & they’re coming to the party, so they can get a slice. They want a piece of whatever you receive. Guard your energy, love, possessions, time & whatever means the most to you.
Don’t be so naive that you overlook someone bad intentions. This can come in the form of : bad advice, sabotage, jealousy, bitter friends & family or gossip. If you were betrayed & hurt: don’t allow what someone did to you, to make you bitter. Take the lessons & use them to weed out any bad seeds next time. Your pure heart doesn’t need to be turned black, by the evilness of others.
Pile #2
Protection of women • parental or masculine abuse• facing danger• exploitation• resourcefulness• your self-worth
Be mindful of being taken advantage of, misrepresented or overshadowed.
There’s indicated of working under or being disempower, controlled, victimized or dehumanized by a man ( or woman) wether in the workplace/ career or throughout your life.
Misrepresentation comes when people speak on you, speak for you or boast on your behalf.
This indicates that there are people around you for your name, title, power, work, money & many benefits. You’re a being showed off or name dropped like a trophy & make others look good.
You are more than your assets, body & what you do. You & your talents should be valued for themselves. This is a time to place boundaries & set the record straight. Don’t allow others to showboat or speak for you. You are not an object on display & deserve to be treated with respect.
Get your affairs in order & put people in check. There’s an energy of people assuming that you’ll do things without asking, borrowing money & asking too much of you.
Pile #3
Entitlement •invasion• privilege• security & safety• karma• respect• appraisal• greed • coveting the blessings of another•
Be mindful of ppl expecting & anticipating certain privileges, because of their connections ( to you as well), their birthday, a significant event ( celebration, holiday, festival etc…) example: expecting you to pay for gifts, dinners, date etc…
There will be people who make their way into your personal space & business at this time. ( family & friends overstaying their welcome or a annoying landlord)
I’m seeing a situation where someone is eyeing your property / possessions for what they’re worth ( old items at parent’s house or packed in garage) or a landlord or partner looking to get some extra money.
Someone who is in a position of power or privilege considers themselves superior to you. Yet, the seem to lack something that you have; and they want it for themselves. This can be someone will emotionally unavailable parents/ family. So despite having lots money & advantages handed to them, they’ve never experienced a true home. This indicates someone who’s immature, searching for a home, searching for perfection & ignorant of boundaries. So this may be someone intruding on your friendships & romantic relationships or relationships with your family ( especially siblings)
*warning of 3-parties ( cheating, polyamory, influence & gossip from others) this is a time to reap what you sow. Do not take or involve yourself in what is not yours. Do not go after something- for how it will benefit you, because you might end up trapped in an unhealthy situation.
Pile #4
Ostracizing• neglect• bullying• being held back• overshadowed• unkind family• being robbed of new opportunities or luxury • new life• level up• trash to treasure•
Be mindful of ppl who force you into roles without your consent. This can look like: being forced to stay at home, in a parental or mother position. Forced to cook, clean, care & take responsibility for something or someone.
You may have been going through a very hard time lately. Eviction, homelessness, job loss, money loss & being left out on your own is indicated. You were left high & dry, but it seems the people who abandoned you suddenly want to reappear into your life.
*warning of fake love, fake support, flattery ( ass kissing) & cheap apologies or promises.
Protect yourself from family abuse at this time: there’s an indication of new things trying to come to you, but family blocking or delaying them. Your living conditions may be very dirty, cheap or overly crowded with junk & siblings.
I’m seeing many of you moving out, starting a business, bringing in more income & many more blessings helping you to level up and out of the bad conditions.
You will see the treasure, in what someone else considers “trash”, which will bless you tenfold. Look beyond appearances at this time & use your empathy and intuition to help others. *emphasis on helping fostered children, bullied children, the homeless, less desired or dumped animals.
Keep any new contracts, jobs, offers or purchase and money a secret for now. People who treated you unkindly & with no empathy, will suddenly act overly nice & supportive out of nowhere. They sense better things coming to you & now want to act supportive for their own benefit.

YAYY requests are open, idk if you have done a scenario like this but could you do a scenario with the dorm leaders with an S/O like Mirabel Madrigal from Encanto like having the same personality as her but also dealing with the fact they are the only one without magic or a gift in their family. Thank you
You know...this is interesting! I kinda wanna add someone as a bonus on here because why not, thank you for the ask!
Dorm Leaders with a Mirabel!s/o
Riddle
He really doesn't mind if you can't use magic, he just worries that others may make your life more stressful though you are Ramshackle's dorm leader
He likes your enthusiasm, it's new to him and refreshing. NRC could use more energy anyways
He admires how you can find good in everyone and everything. He usually looks at faults first, making his vision sometimes a bit limited when it comes to character. Because of this, he's happy to have you around
Might treat you like his therapist because he needs you to be happy haha but nonetheless he's super grateful to have you as his s/o
Leona
Might feel that you're a bit annoying because of your optimistic personality but don't be fooled - he really finds you adorable
He likes to hear you talk about anything because its just nice to see you so passionate about different topics. Will casually say "go on" when you ask if you're talking too much
Might be a bit protective of you because of your lack of magic. He doesn't want any Savanaclaw students picking on you so he might wrap an arm around you when walking by some of the more reckless ones
Overall know that he really likes you, though he's still a tsundere king
Azul
You are literally the one person he will never ask for contracts because you're just too...too pure
You are literally the nicest person and to him he admires how strong you are. Even if people might try to put you down for your lack of magic you brace through and tell them that perhaps not having magic is your magic. Like, what? You can turn that mean comment on its head?! :0
He may ask you for advice when looking for potential contracts but you always tell him not to make contracts, maybe you can change him haha
Similar to Riddle, he knows that you're job can be stressful so he wants to provide you as much care as he can. Expect surprise drinks from the lounge!
Kalim
You guys are like two suns jumping around at once. Jamil loves and hates it
The two of you definitely make NRC a better place with your enthusiasm and your optimism. You find a way to solve any problem because of your wittiness
Kalim definitely takes you on carpet rides that are more extreme than Jamil wants, but speaking of Jamil he likes you too because you're just really nice to talk to
Kalim and you are really similar and overall just a really cute pair
Vil
Imagine if Isabela Madrigal was a person in the TWST world. Ta da, here he is!
He may find your more down-to-earth approaches to things and your optimism to be a bit strange. You're too naive in his eyes, but that's why he gets protective
Vil wants you to know that magic or no magic, you are perfect in his eyes. He will try to help you out whenever magic is needed in your tasks but nonetheless know that he loves you for who you are
Admires your positivity and will respect you for this. He may soften up a bit on Epel too because of you haha
Idia
At first you scared him. You were way too outgoing for his comfort. But he soon realized that you were more than just an extroverted person, you literally gave him energy
He wonders how you can function without any magic but that's probably why he admires you too. NRC is a bit rough, but know that you won't have to worry about anything around him
Will ask you to play video games with him and honestly it might be really fun!
People start noticing that Idia smiles more often, and a lot of people correlate this with you. Idia does feel much better with you around!
Malleus
He was born using magic, so this is surprising to him. He wants to learn how to do certain tasks without any magic because honestly he just likes learning new things!
Malleus definitely gets protective, though you won't really notice it. If anyone is out there trying to harass you for not having magic at NRC, you might not hear anything from Malleus but when you are looking away he'll give that person the scariest look and omg who would dare anger the fae prince :/
He likes to hear whatever you want to talk about too! Will go on walks with you but just listen. To him, he could spend days just listening to your voice
Know that even though fae are heavy magic users, Malleus does not care too much about your skills in magic. He loves you for who you are
Bonus: Rollo
Omg you don't use magic?! Is this an angel sent from heaven like :0
He might find your extroverted personality a tad bit tiresome at first, but he finds himself being drawn to you. He won't tell you this directly, but you will find him lingering around you more often as time goes by
He's also really protective. He likes that you don't use magic and if anyone tries to harass you about it they'll have to face his wrath :/
Though you two might seem like polar opposites, maybe that's why you guys attracted each other. He definitely needs a bit more brightness in his life haha

Misconceptions About Fairies
Tumblr media
Lately I've been seeing a lot of buzz around the Good People on social media, as well as in my local witchy community. I've also seen a lot of misinformation being passed along and people being encouraged to dive in the deep end without knowing what they're getting into, so I want to address some common misconceptions and spotlight some resources I know are legit.
I've said it before and I've said it again: with the Good People, perhaps more than any other type of spirit, it's very important to know what you're doing before you start reaching out to them. They operate on rules and ethics that are very different from ours, and even the most benevolent of them may be offended or angered by ignorance or bad manners. You cannot skip the reading when it comes to working with these beings. If you're not willing to do the research and make an effort to follow the rules, this is not a crowd you should be messing with. I don't say this to scare people or to discourage people who genuinely feel called to establish a relationship with the Good People. I just want to be clear that with this crowd there are risks, and most of those risks can be addressed by making sure you're prepared.
In this post, you'll see me refer to this class or grouping of magical beings as the Good People, the Other Crowd, the Good Neighbors, or similar euphemisms. This is because the word "fairy" is widely considered offensive, and using it may anger the Good People. My advice is to use your own euphemisms in order to be polite, even in casual conversation -- avoid "the f-word" as much as possible. However, I will be using Fairy (with a capital F) as the name of the realm or plane where the Other Crowd lives.
Now, let's start by addressing those misconceptions, shall we?
1. The Good People are nature spirits.
This is one that I've been guilty of spreading in the past. This one is tricky, because some of the Other Crowd could be considered nature spirits, but not all of them. It's important to remember that "fairy" (and more polite euphemisms) is an umbrella term for many different types of beings. It's about as specific as "animal." And just like some but not all animals are mammals, some but not all of the Good People are nature spirits.
As a whole, the Good People don't seem particularly attached to nature, although some of them tend to avoid humans and end up in wild natural settings as a result. However, true nature spirits are connected to a place or natural feature the same way human spirits are attached to our bodies, and this doesn't seem to be true for the Good People.
2. The Good People are angels and/or spirit guides.
This one usually shows up in the context of New Age spirituality, but the association between angels and the Good People is actually much, much older. When the people of the British Isles converted to Christianity, they tried to reconcile their belief in the Other Crowd with Christian cosmology. Usually, this meant identifying the Good People with devils, but some people identified them as fallen angels. One version of the Christianization of the Good People describes them as angels who refused to pick sides in the war between God and Satan and are exiled from both Heaven and Hell.
I've seen New Age authors like Doreen Virtue describe the Good People as "earth angels" or say that, like angels, they are "high vibrational" beings of pure love and light. This directly contradicts folklore, which describes the Good People as beings with physical bodies with a wide range of attitudes towards humans. The Good People could be helpful allies, mischievous pranksters, or cruel predators. Even the ones who seem to like humans aren't especially pious or virtuous, and they definitely aren't interested in our spiritual development.
The idea of the Good People are spirit guides reduces these beings, who are their own people with their own personalities, goals, and agendas, to servant spirits whose only purpose is to help us grow and learn. That's a pretty self-centered approach to spirituality, and it's honestly one that I don't think many of the Good People would put up with.
3. The Good People are tiny and have wings.
I mean, some of them sort of look like this? There are folkloric accounts of beings that are between 6 and 18 inches tall, but as far as I can tell the wings are a modern development. Descriptions of tiny winged people who are small enough to take a nap inside a flower are a Victorian English invention, as popularized by the Cottingley Fairies hoax, a series of faked photographs that supposedly showed a real Otherwordly encounter:
Tumblr media
Most older descriptions from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Britain describe the Good People as looking similar to humans or animals. They might look like normal people except for being totally green, like the Green Children of Woolpit or the Green Knight that appears in Arthurian legend. They might be dressed in green and/or red. In folklore the Good People typically wear contemporary clothing, so if you saw one today they might very well be in jeans and a T-shirt. Sometimes in folklore, the Good People are indistinguishable from humans.
Some of the Other Crowd appear as animals, but there's often some sort of tell that indicates an Otherworldly animal, like a kelpie appearing as a horse whose mane is always dripping or the púca appearing as a black horse with glowing golden eyes. Some of them don't look like humans or like animals and are clearly Otherwordly in appearance, like trows, trolls, and goblins.
4. The Good People are All Friendly to Humans
Again, some of them are. Some of the Good People, like brownies, choose to live in humans' homes and communities and actively help out around the house. Then there are others, like the Baobhan Síth, hags, and red caps that prey on humans, sometimes literally. Many of the Good People seem indifferent to humans.
The problem with this is that when you invite the Other Crowd into your home, you're inviting all of them into your home. This is why I personally prefer to work with the Good Neighbors outside my home -- we have an elder tree (a species associated with the Good Neighbors) growing on the edge of our property, and I use this as a place to leave offerings for them. This way I'm showing respect for them and offering gifts in good faith, but I'm not opening up my home.
Another option is to invite specific individuals or types of the Good People in by name. For example, there are things you can do to attract a brownie. I do want to note that even beings that are usually friendly, like brownies, can be dangerous if you piss them off, so you should only invite them into your home if you're willing and able to commit to keeping them happy.
5. You have to be psychic or have the Second Sight to interact with the Good People.
First of all, I firmly believe that all people have the potential for psychic abilities and that anyone can develop these gifts through practice. In folklore there are ways of developing the Second Sight, if that's something that is really important to you. (Just be aware that some of the Good People prefer to be unseen and can take offense to humans trying to look into Fairy.)
But you don't need the Second Sight or experience with psychic practice to interact with the Good People. Most of the people who historically worked with these beings did not have the Sight. You can still leave offerings and see evidence of their presence, and if you really want to communicate with them directly you can use a divination tool.

                        »»————- ♡ ————-««
Barry couldn’t stop smiling to himself as he led Alex through the masses of people that were leaving their workplaces. He had met his soulmate, he had actually met her and he had been the first one as well out of everyone. He knew that they were all on the same team, that being Kevin’s, but he couldn’t help but feel a bit special since he had found the one destined for them.
But no matter how happy he was, Barry still felt a bit of sadness because even he could see that there was something hurting Alex, something that was stopping her from feeling the same joy he had in his heart. He had always known that he’d have to be prepared to be rejected by their soulmate purely because of his condition, but he never expected to be met with sadness before he had even had the chance to introduce himself. He wasn’t sure what had happened to her, but he knew that, if she allowed him to, he’d want to make sure that sadness would be replaced with a smile.
Alex found herself in front of a small café that was only a five minute walk away from the therapist’s office. It looked quite quiet inside, despite the busy traffic outside, which she was very grateful for. Nodding a thank you to Barry for holding the door open for her, she stepped in and looked around - there were only a few patrons there and plenty of empty tables were free for them to have what she suspected was going to be one of the most difficult conversations in her life.
“What do you want to drink, Alex?”
She heard Barry ask and she immediately looked up at the chalkboard menu on the wall, her head swimming with options. She tried to open her mouth and  reply with anything, but no voice came out. She was still unable to fully speak and her cheeks flushed, ashamed of her own anxiety getting the best of her.
But Barry just smiled reassuringly and gently placed his hands on her shoulder, right on top of his mark. He may not know or understand what’s going on in her mind, but he could tell that at that very moment, he needed to just offer that extra bit of support so he looked up at the menu and offered,
“How about we just get a teapot to share? Is Earl Grey okay?”
Alex was shocked to hear him speaking up with a choice, taking a lot of pressure off her shoulders. She nodded, this option was fine with her and the smile she received in return made her feel a bit more at ease as well.
After Barry had ordered and picked up their teapot from the barista, he led her to one of the more secluded areas to sit down. She had picked up the cups for the both of them before following him, happy that he had chosen a private space for them. She may not fully know what was to come but she had a gut feeling that it would not be a simple ‘how’s the weather today’ type of a conversation. There was a silence between them as they settled in at the table for two, neither of them wanting to scare the other off it seemed. Once sat and both of their breathing had calmed, Barry finally looked at her properly and spoke up with his voice being gentle and soft, something that didn’t fully suit his massive frame.
“So, as I mentioned before, I do have a couple of marks on me. Now… before I continue, I just want you to know that I won’t force anything that you don’t want, Doll, so please just speak your mind on what I’m about to explain to you.”
He paused for a moment and looked across the table at Alex, the fear of just outright rejection slowly building up in his chest. She remained as silent as she had been, there wasn’t any indication that she would bolt again so he continued,
“There’s no smooth way to say this because I can’t really sugarcoat any part of it too much so here goes nothing… The reason why I visit doctor Fletcher is because I have DID.”
“DID?”
“Dissociative identity disorder. Have you heard of it maybe?”
Barry was praying to whoever was listening that she wouldn’t run, and that she would have heard at least something about his condition. He really didn’t want to explain the details of what it is and how it came to be, it wasn’t really a conversation to have over tea in his opinion. Luckily Alex nodded and whispered softly,
“I read about it a little when I looked Doctor Fletcher up.”
Barry gave her a kind smile and his heart was breaking just a little at how delicate she sounded. He didn’t know if it was the soul bond between the two of them but he felt an immense drive to make sure that nothing would spook Alex. He just had to make sure that none of her words would get lost between them, he’d always make sure her voice was heard at least by him. He was also relieved that she had some knowledge on his condition since this would save him from explaining everything from scratch.
Barry poured some tea for the both of them and started to explain a bit more in the meantime,
“Now this is all speculation from doc’s side but she seems to be under the impression that there is a possibility that all of us in Kevin’s body might actually share a soulmate. We all seem to have a mark correlated to us, however it is just statistically unlikely that we haven’t even met a single one of our soulmates yet so… She seems to think it’s actually just one person. In our little situation, she thinks it’s you who’s the soulmate to all of us. Now-”
“How many?”
Alex had cut him off before he could continue and he looked at her for a moment, unsure if he should answer truthfully, scared it might frighten her too much. Barry sighed, knowing it would cause more harm to lie so he replied,
“24 in total. Kevin is the host, the OG so to speak. The others, me included, came later on and so did the extra marks.”
There was a moment of silence, tense of the unknown. Alex’s mind was going a thousand miles per hour as she tried to grasp the situation at hand. She had met one of her soulmates but it then turned out that it is most likely all of them. She thought that she would be happy but it was all so overwhelming for her to even fully accept. She took a deep breath before she spoke her mind,
“There are 24 marks on me as well, Barry. So I think that Doctor Fletcher might be right. It’s a lot to take in though, I honestly do not know what to say or do or if I should be happy or sad or…”
Her words got caught in her throat and she clamped up once again, unable to verbalize her trail of thoughts fully. Her eyes started darting from Barry to the outside to her mug and to her hands, not sure if she should run or stay. There were so many thoughts and images flashing through her brain that it all just blurred together in a consistent state of movement and screaming.
Without thinking too much about it, Alex pulled out a piece of paper from her bag along with a pen and jolted down her name and phone number before she grabbed everything and bolted out of the door without uttering a single syllable. She needed to get out, away from the man who would be responsible for every single one of her marks over time. She just couldn’t look at him because deep down, without her even fully realizing it, her heart was slowly starting to beat only for them.
Back at the coffee shop, Barry was dumbfounded, still sitting at the table. This had been the second time that day his soulmate had fled from him but he knew it would cause a lot of harm if he were to go after her this time. He picked up the piece of paper and very carefully put it in his wallet to make sure he wouldn’t lose it. He finished his cup and looked out of the window, trying to soothe the ache in his chest from the very slight rejection he was feeling from the escape of his soulmate. His efforts were in vain however because from somewhere, he could hear Hedwig innocently asking,
“Is she scared of me et cetera?”

I loved reading some of your theories, they're enlightening. If I may ask, how many times do you reread a manga or a scene in order to catch up these details and connections between seemingly unrelated events? That kind of global vision must require multiple readings. Do you also follow some kind of process or have you interpreted media for a long time?
HEYYY!! Thank you very much, it makes me happy to see that people like my theories!
I couldn't tell you exactly how many times I read a work before analysing it. If we take Chainsaw Man, by dint of analysing it almost every week I'm beginning to know the forty or so chapters of Part 2 by heart.
If I can give you a few pointers on my method...
First of all, I'd say that the more media you consume, in any medium (manga, books, films, series, even music!), the more you train your brain to interpret.
Because knowing how to interpret is correlated to your reading experience. It familiarises you with narrative biases, script construction, different ways of presenting the same theme, but also different authorial habits.
Fujimoto follows the rule of saying as little as possible, while other authors make extensive use of the narrator, such as Jun Mochizuki, who likes to place the story through the prism of his main character (Oz / Noé).
The more you like an author, the more familiar you become with their writing style. Which makes you more responsive.
As for my personal experience, I use a lot of different media. For example, I love classics, which are books that are complicated and not always very explicit. Especially when the authors take an outsider's point of view and play with chronologies, or even use a very wide range of characters.
But if you're waiting for a precise method, it must be your own. Once again, interpretation is personal. Nobody reads the same way.
When a chapter of CSM comes out, for example, I read it first... to find out. Generally I shout, I cry, I don't understand anything, but I let it settle. The first reading is essential because it's the only reading you won't intellectualise. It's an accumulation of pure emotions and it's the rudder that helps you understand what an author wants to provoke in you.
Then I reread the chapter, several times, until I see other things, the narrative construction, lines that tickle me, the breakdown. I also always look at the chapter title!
I write down my ideas in an unconstructed way and then compare them with the overall work (part 2 for CSM). Because mangaka write from this point of view, a chapter is just one piece of the jigsaw, so it's essential to stand back and understand its contribution to the rest.
Here's hoping my vague advice helps a little <33

Yes you may <3
Tumblr media
Hairo Hairo Ba Bairo banana fana fa Fairo me mi mo Mairo HARIOO
if ykyk 😭
your big day
He spends a lot of time planning everything out but he doesn’t stress over it. He’s preparing months in advance because he’s just responsible like that and wants to make sure he’ll have enough time to reroute in case something goes wrong. He works out the details himself but asks his classmates/friends and parents for advice/ideas.
he invites pretty much anyone he knows you don’t have beef with (😜) and more. Anyone willing to come really, he thinks it’s sweet they’re sharing they’re support (which it is :3 💕)
his parents are 100% there and luckily for him he has the ‘cool’ parents that no one thinks is cringe. 😭💓 In fact they helped pay for a lot of things along with your parents and they entrusted Hairo to plan a lot of things out. He’s a trustworthy guy and you might’ve told him what you want already in the past so why not? 🤷‍♀️
what he does for your big day truly depends on what type of person you are and I say that in like every hcs ever but it’s true. Different peeps want different things!
anywho 😚
your gift possibilities also range depending on what what you like. An artist? Art supplies! Like to skateboard? He has one custom made! Are ya a foodie? Get dressed your heading to a buffet!
An out or inside event relies on what you prefer! An introvert? Likely inside! (If your an introvert who’s mentioned wanting to step outside your comfort zone, it’ll be a peaceful place outdoors!) oh your an ambivert? An indoor party! How about an extrovert?? Let’s turn up at the water park y’all!! 🤪🤪
Or maybe if you wanna keep it in one of your houses?- your house or his? Whichever one makes you more comfy <3
Actually now that I think about it a party bus would be another fun thing to do for introvert/ambivert OR extrovert!
his big day
you probably plan it with your friends
And yes you invite the sports clubs (yes all sports clubs 😭)
it’s definitely outside doing some sort of exercise(or in da gym ;3). Whether that’s fun for you or not depends on if you like exercise or not. And if it’s the type where your running around or purely a hardcore workout 🏋️‍♂️
The expenses wasn’t all that costly because of this, you could literally just all go to the gym and hype him up and it would bring tears to his eyes. Your support means so much to him, he could work out the entire day nonstop as long as he continuously hears the chants of encouragement from his loved ones 💝
he doesn’t expect gifts so when you surprise him with the heaviest weights you can find to help motivate him (😭🤷‍♀️💗), he literally sheds tears of happiness. Don’t get me wrong- people do gift him—he just didn’t expect anything because he’s not a materialistic guy!
your all tired but very happy at the end, whether it’s because your throats are sore from encouraging or your legs are tired from running. Either way it was a fun and eventful day, and I will say, Hairo certainly enjoyed it ♡
Hope y’all don’t mind this longer style of writing. I’m trying to give more hcs if that makes sense. I’ll probably teeter back and forth depending on how silly or serious the hcs are or just how much I feel like writing in general but idk.

Hello, just wanna start this off by saying that I love your art. I've decided to ask my favourite artists for art tips as I wanna get into it, but no matter what I do it never looks right. So, any tips?
WARNING YOU JUST OPENED THE FLOOD GATES GET READY FOR A LONG ASS POST
WOOOOO BOY, first off huge fucking compliment i honestly didn't think i was anyone's favorite artist (despite what my friends say) and i find it super cool of you to try and draw
Anddd nowww the cowards will run out as soon as you read more
okay so first things first, disclaimer! I AM NO PROFESSIONAL BY ANY STANDARDS, IM JUST SUPER INTERESTED IN ART, DO NOT TAKE MY WORDS AS GOSPEL AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE MY WORDS OF ADVICE (you didnt say i was but just to cover my ass)
I am still learning as an artist so this will just be advice that helped me, lets just hope i can remember what got me here, and this will be just me jotting down my thoughts as they come so maybe im not the best person to come to about this (i may repeat what other people say in terms of art so bare with me)
SO WITHOUT ANYMORE DISCLAIMER! YOU WANT ART TIPS FROM ME? WELL GET READY FOR SOME BULLSHIT FROM A PERSON WHO'S BEEN SO ARTSY FARTSY IN THEIR ENTIRE LIFE AND HAS NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT, WELL COME INTO THE SHIT TRAIN!!
Now i dont know if you are an intermediate artist, beginner, need help in specific areas or whatever the hell else but! here's the three main points i always wanted to scream at artists who are just starting out!
Your art WILL look like shit in the beginning
References and inspiration are YOUR FRIEND
DONT be afraid to trace
(I know I know this feels like regurgitated and it probably is BUT HEY STICK WITH ME)
does your art looks fucking trash? THATS GOOD!! KEEP DRAWING!! My art looked fucking ugly when i started and some might say (me) it still does, but thats okay!! You learn more and more from just drawing without any tips, art is a pure skill that builds up, do not be discouraged!! The point of art isn't to be the greatest in the world, it's to be at peace with what you create so if your art looks good to you and you are in a happy place in your progress, you are basically successful in my eyes at least (this doesn't mean to quit learning obviously but it'll come in time, be patient, do not push yourself! that's how you stop loving art and we don't want that happening!)
Ever find yourself asking "man why the fuck does (include art shit here) not look accurate??" well here's a tip, USE REFERENCES! DO NOT BE LIKE ME WHERE YOU JUST WING IT OR ELSE YOU'LL BE CRYING OVER YOUR DRAWING TABLET LIKE I DID AT SOME POINT!! Pay attention to the shapes of the reference, break it down and draw over it if you need to, shapes are very important in art and you need to be able to draw whatever you want in the most basic forms (im no good example of this, i really need to practice more aughhh). As well as references, inspiration is KEY!!! Everything is inspired off each other, nothing is original, so steal from your favorite artists!! Look at their speedpaints, look at how they use colors, analyze how they draw anatomy in their style, see how they use shapes, etc etc, learn from who you consider are the "greats of their times"!! USE ALL THE INSPIRATION YOU HAVE AT YOUR FINGERTIPS!!LITERALLY COPY THEM IF YOU WANT EVEN IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DID THAT, YOU'LL LEARN WITH TIME!! just whatever you do, don't compare yourself so heavily against other artists, i know its hard, i do it myself even! If there is an artist who has a style you so so want, don't crumble if you can't draw in their style perfectly, you'll never win against someone in their art style. I suggest taking inspiration from multiple artists and mashing them together until it looks good in your eyes!!
That actually leads me to my next point! TRACING IS OKAY!! Now obviously I do not mean directly tracing over like some lines, showing it off/posting it and calling it completely original. I mean tracing over the references i mentioned before, or like what i said before, i believe you should actually trace from your favs! (don't call it original like i said before), tracing can help build memory on how to draw certain things like how i took a photo of my hands before, traced them, and then put it to the side to redraw it, making me understand futher how hands work! OR like how i traced a piece of art that i liked to understand how the artist drew their bodies, tracing is used by total professionals in the industry so do not be afraid!! You have total permission from me to trace my art and learn how to draw my wack ass bodies
and for a little extra bit, little bit of a hot take (I'm actually not sure how much of a hot take this is), i don't think you HAVE to learn the fundamentals to get into art. NOW BEFORE YOU RUN OFF SCREAMING AND SHITTING, IM NOT SAYING YOU DON'T NEED THE FUNDAMENTALS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! I'm just saying that if you want to get into art as a complete hobbyist and just want to draw to yknow draw and be happy, you should just go for it! Again don't make art something you hate! I completely encourage learning the fundamentals but don't ever feel like you're failing just because you don't, get into it when you have the time! be patient with yourself, this goes for any hobby/skill but just sink some time into it, i promise you will get further in you hobby than if you push and rush yourself into complete burn out
OH AND HERES MY ULTIMATE TIP! THERE IS NO WRONG WAY TO DO ART!!
Uhhh i think that's everything? Im not exactly sure how comprehensible this is or how the spelling is since i am not beta reading this! But apologies if this wasn't what you were looking for! (if anybody even read this far) and i hope that if you asked your other favorite artists they answered with anything better than whatever this is! I wish you alot of luck in your art journey and thank you for giving me an excuse to talk about art! OH AND REMEMBER TO TAKE BREAKS

how do I get into math as someone that only knows highschool level stuff? and what's the best place to start? just any tips in general :)
Sorry about the delay with this answer, it's been sitting in my drafts for more than a month now, this thesis thing is taking a great chunk of my time :(
I'd say the safest bet regarding starting topics are some calculus and linear algebra, they are among the most straightforwardly useful topics you can learn right off high school, even if they don't interest you in their own right, they make a great foundation upon which to learn more math (which you will hopefully find more interesting or useful!) and the process of studying these topics will probably lead you to train your math skills and to understand what study techniques work best for you.
As to how specifically you should get into math, I don't really know, it depends a lot on what you want to learn and why, a biologist won't usually learn the same math as a physicist, and probably neither will put as much emphasis on mathematical proofs as a mathematician.
I'm doing a pure math degree, so all the books I personally know are focused on rigorous definitions and proofs, with practical applications and examples sprinkled in as fun facts (only a slight exaggeration here). Additionally, I don't really know how I would go about learning by myself what I know now, I've learned most of the introductory stuff by going to classes and asking my professors for help when I got stuck.
The standard textbooks my professors based their classes on were Spivak's Calculus and Hoffman and Kunze's Linear Algebra, these books are not particularly beginner friendly, that's why I got a lot of value from just going to class with professors who had the skills to fill the didactic gaps.
I've read that A Concise Introduction to Pure Mathematics by Chapman & Hall is pretty accessible to people with only a high school level of math knowledge, so you may want to start there (just don't pay for it or any of the other books I've mentioned, they're like 250 dollars each).
As for specific tips, the first that comes to mind is to do the exercises in your textbook/course, they are essential as diagnostic tools to check whether you're actually understanding the topics and they also help retain what you've read so far.
You should also give each problem a decent try before you ask for help with it: the process of attempting to solve it will work those math muscles (never a complete waste of time!) and if you do end up solving it yourself you'll retain what you learned much better than if someone just gave you the answer.
Incidentally, this is why on math forums mathematicians will often not give the answer outright, but leave clues to find it: they don't want to "spoil" the answer, because to many of us the thrill of the chase is part of what makes finding the solution so satisfying, and we sometimes forget that not everyone enjoys failing quite as much.
The last advice is something that may not be applicable to everyone, but if you want to study math just for the sake of it (i.e. not for practical applications) you should try to enjoy the act of solving math problems in itself, not just seeing it as the intermediate stage you have to slog through before you get results. You will spend most of your time failing at math (and if you aren't, then you're not probably challenging yourself enough), so you might as well make yourself comfortable.
If you intend to study math completely on your own for whatever reason (time and money seem to be the most usual constraints), you can ask specific questions on reddit or math.stackexchange, I don't mind helping you myself but I don't always reply as quickly.

Hi abyss! My friends call me shiv so i'll go by that! I honestly just stumbled upon your account twice today and i love the readings you do! I hope i can get one too! (bless your soul for doing this in the first place and that too for free)
So honestly i have been trying to tap in the void state and manifest my dream life for a while now but i feel like i am very close so instead of asking just a purely void related question i'll ask messages i need to hear right now? maybe in terms of void or not, your call entirely!
I am so excited to read your response (if and when you do respond haha)
I totally understand if you can't! Hope you are having a lovely day! Sending so much love x
Hi, Shiv!! ur name makes me think of pirates n shiver me timbers 😭😭‼️ idk its js silly!! im happy to answer ur question!! i totally get wanting advice during the point between finally reaching ur goal and where u are now. hell, that’s where i am rn!! i’ll do my best to get messages to help u get into the void, as that seems to b ur main concern rn.
Void State Advice/Messages
“literally just be”
this is similar to some advice my friend nile gave me from the universe. just be in the moment. tune out all of the day, all the noise of it, the negativity and the fears and worries. all of it. just let ur moment be with you and connecting to the void within yourself.
close ur eyes, take a deep breath, feel it all fall away. psych k method (i hope im spelling that right!!) comes to mind + the colour pink.
i’m also getting, even while just entering the void, begin to manifest. like don’t even care/recognize where u are. understand u are the void and it’s inside you, so you can get what you want by just sitting down for 10 minutes and deciding u want it.
“it’s so entertaining”
do something to entertain urself before/as you’re in the void, just to keep ur consciousness awake. this will help u a bit
idk why this feels important, but ‘death of a hero’ by alec benjamin came on. it’s about witnessing something u shouldn’t have as a child. he then begins breaking down because someone who he once saw as an inspiration wasn’t as great as a person as he once thought. this is so sad n im sorry if u went through this :( i also get ur try to manifest the change of this person, to help them get better.
my advice is sometimes it’s better to forgive and walk away. sometimes it’s best not to waste energy on people or beings, but focus on urself and ur desires. i understand where ur coming from, but honey, it may be time to let go.
im sorry this got kinda depressing at the end, but i hope this advice helps you. i love u so much n i’m rooting for u!! you’ll get everything u want and more one day. finishing this at 2:22 btw!!

Hello!!! Your writing is so beautiful and moving!! As an author, do you ever feel like the stuff you write is not good enough? Or your ideas have already been done 1,000 times? I can’t imagine you do, because your stories are pure gold. But if so, how do you move past it and keep writing?? Do you have trouble coming up with original content? I find when I’m writing fics that I sort of stop myself mid story with doubt. Hopefully I worded that correctly. I just admire your fics so much! Thank you!!!
Hey there 🩷✨️😘 And thank you so much for your kind words, I was honestly so, so moved by your message! I'll try my best to offer some advice and thoughts on this, hopefully some of it is helpful 💕
First of all, I sure struggle with this! I have days when I feel like deleting everything I've ever written because I think it's garbage. Those thoughts usually occur when I'm comparing myself to other writers and their work (which generally differs a lot in style, tone and voice, so it's kind of redundant to compare in the first place). Also, I'm not a native English speaker, so there will always be a gap I can't cross. I will always be one, two, three steps behind in expressing myself. Still, I haven't allowed it to stop me from writing and sharing my work. (Well I have, up until this year... But better late than never, right?)
That being said, we need each other for joy and inspiration, which also means that nothing we create is 100% original in the end… and at the same time, everything is original! You write in your own voice, and only you can have a new perspective or offer a unique take on an existing idea. But tropes are tropes for a reason; they're popular for a reason, so I wouldn't shy away from using cliche pairings or recurring tropes as key concepts. Besides, they're so much fun to write!
It's only natural to compare yourself and your fics to other writers and their work, but there's a thin line between getting inspired and feeling like you're not good enough as a writer. It's so easy to feel unworthy when you see loads of new, amazing content (= other people's souls and lifeblood, condensed into a brief flicker on top of our dashboards) every day. But when you start to think about it, there's actually no point in comparing yourself and your creative input to the stream of literally thousands of works.
Even if the idea is not the most original, I keep writing until something "original" pushes through. Sometimes it's a piece of dialogue, and that's when I get interested as an author. Why did the character say that? What do they mean? Why did I write this? What's lying underneath?
I don't know if you catch my drift here or if this sounds like nonsense, but when you get curious about your writing, it starts to gain new levels, you gain new ideas, and even the most "unoriginal" idea may get a fresh new twist. And if it doesn't… who cares 💃 If you write with passion, it shows, and I think that's what matters in the end! Plot holes, or lack of plot altogether, don't matter if you and your readers can indulge in your writing.
If and when I hit a wall, I have to check who I'm writing for. I may have a hidden feeling that I'm not good enough as a creator, or that readers expect this or that and the next thing I know, I'm standing in the middle of a desert when it comes to creativity. Writing to self-indulge (in the most filthiest way if you have to) will almost always fix this issue. It's a simple gospel truth that writing what you'd like to read, works.
I'm repeating myself here, but writing should be fun; the minute it's not, I usually stop and take a break. Professional writers probably say it can't always be fun, and they may have methods to work past that slump, but because this is fanfiction and we are doing this as a pastime hobby, I'd say better keep a light approach to it and cut yourself some slack. There's no need to push it or force it.
'Good enough' is an admirable (and understandable!) aspiration when you wish to be the best version of yourself and offer your readers something fresh and unique. I say the following with all the love: good enough is also the main idea behind a violent worldview where nothing is ever enough. It's the origin of self-doubt and the feeling that we're somehow always unworthy.
To a system that always wants more, and wants it better and faster, we as imperfect creatures and emotional human beings can never be enough. Didn't mean to get deep into environmental philosophy in a tumblr ask, but this worldview is currently destroying people's sanity (not to talk of destroying the planet and its myriad inhabitants). It's not easy, but I encourage everyone to rebel against 'good enough' as much as possible! ❤️‍🔥
So you don't have to strive for good enough, you only need to strive for what moves you, what makes you laugh or cry or simply makes you feel something. That way you'll know it will move others too 💋💞💃

Next Big Disney Princess Movie
- I’m slightly obsessed with the Princess and the Pea, I wanna figure out how it could be turned into a Disney Princess movie
- The original story is that a king and queen think no one is good enough for their son, so they test a prospective partner’s purity by having her sleep on a tower of a hundred mattresses with a single pea placed at the bottom. A random girl seeks shelter from a storm and finds the castle; they let her in, and just because they’re curious they test her out on the mattresses. She tosses and turns all night, and in the morning she reports she could not sleep a wink. The king and queen are satisfied because obviously she could feel the pea under the mattress tower so she’s pure enough to marry their son.
- Maybe the Princess could be plagued by insomnia and a being that comes to her in her dreams leads her on a quest to rescue a magical prince from his overbearing parents, the rulers of the fairies. They test her with odd nature-themed trials, and the final one is testing her purity by feeling a pea under a stack of mattresses.
- Maybe not outright stating insomnia, just alluding to it with her inability to fall asleep easily and, in the Pea trial, psyching herself out to the extent where she thinks she can feel a tiny lump under her mattress
- Her thoughts are like “the final test can’t just be falling asleep, there’s gotta be more to it, there always is with these people!” She’s awake so long that she becomes adjusted to the dark silent stillness of the room and is finally able to feel that tiny lump under all one hundred mattresses.
- Plot starts when heroine stumbles into the fairy castle seeking shelter from the thunderstorm outside, unaware of the true nature of the castle she’s found herself in
- She was led to this castle by will-o-the-wisps, prankish fairies
- Or maybe the being who led her here could be her cute animal sidekick, some sort of tricksy fae creature
- Could try the Frozen/Tangled approach where the events take place in the span of a day or a few days, or could emulate Disney renaissance classics and have the story stretch on for weeks
- Make the heroine Irish? Make the story Irish? Even if Hans Christian Andersen wrote it, we don’t necessarily need to stick closely to the source material in that way. His fairy tales have been adapted by Disney plenty of times, rarely sticking to his geographic region. The Emperor’s New Clothes became the Meso-American Emperor’s New Groove, and The Little Mermaid apparently takes place in the Mediterranean. Making her and the setting Irish justifies all the fairy lore I want to bring in with this story.
- Since the prince in this story is a Fae prince, maybe he sees this human girl one day and gets a crush, so he keeps visiting her in the form of a fox because he’s not the most socially gifted, and he gets the Will’o’Wisps to lead her to his castle as a way of introducing his choice of bride to his parents, because fae customs are just weird like that. The princess was already fond of her fox friend and later in the movie she learns it was the prince in disguise visiting her because he was in love, and over the course of the story as he helps her win the challenges set by the king and queen, the princess and the fae prince actually properly fall in love with one another. The Pea trial is the last trial and it’s one where the prince cannot help her in any way, so he just gives her advice before she’s sent off to bed.
- In this idea we have a prince who’s not charming or dashing but who’s sincere and kindhearted and more than a little awkward, and a princess who is steadfast, determined, and who isn’t a pushover, who will get through the toughest of odds on her wit and will, of course with the help of her friends because that’s what friends are for. The “villains” are a king and queen who may be overbearing at times but who genuinely want what’s best for their son, parents who differ on how best to raise their child but who love each other fiercely and will protect their family at all cost.
- Maybe the princess can be a changeling, aka a fairy baby who was swapped with a human baby, and then that could either be a reveal at the end of the film when she gets fairy magic by marrying the fairy prince, or it can be left ambiguous how she gets her magical power up and it can be left in the editorial notes that the protagonist was supposed to be a changeling
- What if the princess were fat? Like, the first explicitly chubby Disney Princess in a lineup where slim and athletic is the norm. It would be good representation, I’ll have to play with the design a bit and deviate from my Doll Divine first drafts, because the dresses would fit different on that different body type.
- I also don’t want the prince looking like the general Disney Prince, I want him to sort of embody fox-like characteristics, so the transition from fox to human is believable, also so he looks a little otherworldly since he is a fae prince. Maybe his skin is pink (close enough to a normal human skin tone) and his parents are blue and purple, giving them an otherworldly look.
- I should make a Disney Renaissance style movie trailer for this. Leave the people wanting more, maybe start a petition, get some internet attention that might get Disney’s attention. Long term plans are good.
- In Beauty and the Beast, Belle’s favorite book has “far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, a prince in disguise,” as well as a scene where “here’s where she meets Prince Charming, but she won’t discover that it’s him till chapter three,” and I want to use this as a guide for my hypothetical movie. I want people on the internet to assume this story is the book that Belle is reading. So I can have my prince in disguise as a fox but chapter three would usually take place after the intro and after the inciting incident, so after the princess’s normal life is established and after she comes to the fairy castle, which is ideally how I was imagining the reveal to happen.
- There’s the issue of “why wouldn’t the princess just try to leave once she learned what she was expected to do?” In this bare bones list of plot ideas, I’ve indicated that the princess is led to the castle, is sought after by the fae prince, and is sympathetic towards him because of his controlling and overbearing parents. Maybe she stays because she can see just how much he needs her, and throughout the story the two gradually fall for each other. I mean, the prince was already in love with her but we also need to give time for the princess to fall for him.
- Since I love the Beauty and the Beast so much, maybe there should be opening narration in the form of a fairy tale, but then it’s revealed it’s the fae prince talking to himself while admiring the princess from afar, and we should do the thing where when the emotions become to great he starts singing, and that’s the opening song, playing in his mind as a fox while he interacts with the princess’s village and the princess herself. The song could function both as an establishing number and an I Want song for the prince.
- I should really name my characters.
- Maybe the story should have a meta commentary on how Love at First Sight, as a fairytale staple, isn’t really true love, it’s just puppy love, and real true love is born of dedication and honesty, real love takes effort, which is shown in all the trials and all the ways the prince helps the princess throughout. It’s not enough to say “this is the one I want to marry,” you have to earn your partner’s trust and affection.
- The princess should get a musical number about how she underestimates herself, and over the course of the song she changes key and starts believing in herself, and this’ll take place during a montage of trials
- The fae king and queen should get a campy musical number showing how in love they are, how much more powerful they are than this lowly human girl their son has brought home, and how she’ll never beat them at their own game so why try, and this villain song will set them up for a sympathetic reprise at the end when she inevitably comes out on top
- I might want Joel McNeely to compose for this movie. He proved he can emulate the classic Disney sound in Peter Pan 2, and he has experience composing Celtic-sounding fairy music with the Tinkerbell movies. If Alan Menken is still alive by the time I somehow make this thing work, I’d take him over McNeely.
- Story takes place on Midsummer Eve, because in Irish folklore that’s when the fae are at their happiest and they sometimes take mortals away to be their brides
- There’s a thing in Disney Princess movies that got pointed out in Ralph Breaks the Internet. A princess finds some form of water, looks at it, and sings about her dreams. Snow White’s wishing well, Cinderella’s soap bubbles, Aurora’s woodland river, Ariel had the whole ocean, Belle sang in the snow plus singing at the fountain in the town square, Jasmine got a singing part in Whole New World as they flew through clouds and over oceans/pools, Pocahontas had the river, Meg technically isn’t a Disney princess but she had a whole fountain garden solo number, Mulan had her water garden, Tiana never sang in the presence of water but she did sing a couple times in the swamp, and although Rapunzel never got a water-based song and Merida doesn’t sing, Elsa got her songs in the snow, and Moana had the whole ocean like Ariel did. This is a trend I wanna continue, so I’m gonna try and work in a musical number where the heroine reflects near some form of water.
- The Princess and the Pea is quite a mouthful, and I fear it would get confused with The Princess and the Frog, plus nowadays Disney titles tend to be one word descriptors of some aspect of the movie. Tangled, Frozen, Moana, Encanto, so I think a good candidate for the name of this movie is Midsummer’s Eve. Hopefully that would be enough to differentiate the name from Midsommar, a movie I do not want people connecting this story to at all.
- If I really wanna push the prince’s fox-like features, should I make him small? Like, slim 5’11” young man with pointy ears and pinkish skin. Then I could make his crush, the princess, both tall and fat, but in a muscular way? Like, instead of dainty princess should I go more warrior princess? Twink fairy prince with butch warrior princess? I think that would look stunning.
- Casting Reeve Carney as the prince, he’s got a gorgeous singing voice. I wanna find an Irish actress who can sing for the princess, but I’m not limiting myself with my casting choices for the king and queen. I want people who can be flamboyant, intimidating, and heartfelt.
- The Fae appreciate when humans manage to outsmart them or match their cunning, so in the story the first challenge the princess completes she’ll get by just barely by following the rules and brute forcing it, and the king and queen will sarcastically commend her efforts. The next challenges the princess will catch on that she needs to work smarter, not harder, and she’ll find loopholes and ways around the problems, earning more of the queen and king’s favor. Finally, the princess will face them, saying essentially “I’ve completed every challenge you’ve thrown at me, you must not keep your son cooped up here on his own any longer!” And the remark about their son makes them realize they’ve been unfair to him all this time, not considering what he might want.
- The princess’s cute magical sidekicks include a mischievous Wisp, a well meaning Sylph, and technically the prince in his fox form, which can all be made into plushies for marketing purposes. In the film, the Wisp would stick around her after the other Wisps had fulfilled their duty leading her to the fairy castle, and the Sylph would be gifted to her as a tiny lady in waiting, cleaning up after her and offering to help her in any way, except when it comes to challenges set by the king and queen.
- Talking with the fae is kind of like Alice trying to talk to the people of Wonderland
- Casting the Princess:
- I’m going for someone with an alto sort of voice, someone who can pull off a grounded performance in the face of all these over the top campy fairy characters. They should either be a young adult or someone who can sound youthful, but since the princess is more of a warrior she’ll need to have a deeper voice, or at least not a light and airy voice. Ideally I’d want an Irish actress, just so I don’t get complaints about a bad fake Irish accent. For all the human characters I want Irish actors or people who can pull off Irish accents for background characters, since the story takes place in Ireland and the fae Otherworld.
- Jessie Buckley is Irish, she’s an actress and a singer, her voice is a bit on the deep side but not exactly what I was hearing in my head
- Aisling Franciosi is Irish, shes still in her 20’s, she can sing really well, but her voice is a bit higher than what I was going for initially
- Casting the Villains:
- We need two singers who harmonize well, who sound great together, who have chemistry so we can hear it in the voice acting. We need two actors who can pull off comedy, heartfelt drama, and menacing moments. Race and accent is not an issue, I’ll just let anything slide because to me a faerie can sound like anything, but I won’t be so lenient on human characters.
- Casting the Prince:
- My first idea was Reeve Carney, and I’m gonna stick by that decision unless I stumble across another actor/singer who can pull off a socially awkward twink
Here’s initial sketches of the prince and princess;

Hello, got a small comfort drabble request from a friend of mine who is too nervous to send a request and doesn't know how to use the anon request button.
It kinda goes that teen-reader gets the sniffles and them being stubborn about it (like "oh no, I'm fine. It's nothing.) And each papa is not taking that as an answer then takes care of them. like one making sure they get their medication into them and one holding them bed-hostage to make sure they get rest and the other two being dads. Just, Pure tooth rotting fluff ensues.
Hope it isn't too much trouble, thanks.
-🌘(crescent anon)
I'M SO SORRY THIS TOOK FOREVER. I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT AND IF YOU WERE SICK WHEN YOU SENT THIS ASK I'M SO SORRY BAHAHAHAHA
Sick Days (All Papas x Sick Teen Reader)
"O-oh! Sorry!"
You hadn't meant to bump into him, but now Copia's mismatched eyes stared straight into your core. "Satanas, are you alright? You look unwell."
"Oh. Yes, Papa, I'm alright, thank you. I just have a little cold is all."
That was an understatement.
You were sick as Hell.
You'd felt it come on last night; it had started simply as a deep fatigue, which you'd heeded as you went to bed. Then this morning you had woken up to discover that the fatigue had not only gotten worse, but was now accompanied by a head-splitting migraine, a sore throat, and shivers.
Still, you'd gotten up to get ready for work like always. Still new to the Ministry, you strove to prove yourself; being a clumsy teenager, you found it difficult to get people to listen to or trust you, but things were getting better. Still, you couldn't afford to call in sick, or risk ridicule.
You noticed a frown form on Copia's lips. "Child, if you aren't feeling well, perhaps you should take the remainder of the day off? It may help to rest."
"No, no, I'm okay... really, I'm fine." You managed a pained smile that did little to reassure him.
He sighs and steps closer, placing a gentle hand on your shoulder. "Y/n, right?" When you nod, he continues, leaning close. "I know you are new here, and young. But that does not mean that you must power through illness simply because you wish to prove yourself worthy. Do you understand?"
You nod.
He pats your shoulder before turning away. "Good. Go get some rest, child."
. . .
A few hours pass, and you still have not stopped working. Though you appreciated Copia's advice, you needed to finish these chores. After all, your assignments came from Sister Imperator herself, and you hated to disappoint.
Unfortunately, that meant that you also had to avoid Copia as much as possible.
If you heard him coming down the hall, you ducked into a side room. If you saw him in the library, you hid behind a shelf. You didn't need him to worry about you; after all, you were nearly an adult!
However, it was much to your disappointment when you finally ran into him in the kitchen. You'd gone to get yourself a glass of water, unable to hide the way your hands trembled as you retrieved the glass from the shelf.
When he noticed your presence, he didn't speak. Instead, he simply stared at you, arms crossed and a motherly look that said, what is your ass doing out of bed?
"Y/n, I thought you were resting?"
"Oh! I was," you spoke with uncertainty. "I just needed a glass of water, is all."
"And you felt the need to get dressed in your work uniform to do so?"
You froze, trying to come up with a lie. "Well, yeah. I hate looking unpresentable."
He looked unimpressed. "Sister told me you have still been working. Bambino testardo (Stubborn child), look at you! Your hands are shaking, tesoro. You need to stop."
"I'm fine, Papa! I think I'm old enough to figure out if I'm sick enough to work or not."
"Oh, truly? Because it looks to me like you're about to pass out on the counter."
"Now you're just being dramatic," you tell him, returning to your task at hand. Just as you turn your back, a wave of fatigue and dizziness washes over you, forcing you to stop and place a hand on the counter in a weak attempt to steady yourself. "Oh."
He sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose briefly before moving close by your side; then he places his hand on the small of your back to steady you. "Okay, hai finite (you're done.) We are making a quick stop to your bedroom for pajamas, then you are staying with me for the rest of the day. Resting."
"No, I can't- I have stuff to do."
He is having none of it. "Non più (not anymore). Sister has already given your remaining chores to the other siblings. You, dear child, are going to sleep the rest of this off."
"But I-"
"Enough," he snaps, and you flinch. His gaze softens as he looks down at you. Your skin was pale, cheeks flushed with fever, eyelids drooping with fatigue. "Kiddo, you look absolutely exhausted. I'm sorry for being so harsh. But you must rest. That is an order."
You sigh, rubbing your eyes with closed fists. He's right; you're tired, too tired. You can't find the energy to argue anymore, so you turn to follow him. "Fine. Lead the way."
He smiles, moving his arm to wrap around your shoulders as he leads you out of the kitchen.
A few minutes later, the two of you are standing at your bedroom door. You let him in, and you quickly grab the first pair of pajamas you see from the drawer. While you change in the connecting bathroom, he takes the time to admire your decor.
"You have many stuffed animals," he chuckles when you exit the bathroom.
"Oh. Yeah."
"And a nightlight?"
You look away. "I don't like the dark much."
"Ah, that's quite alright; I'm not one for darkness either. I keep candles lit much of the time. Now come on, let's get you to bed. Would you like to grab a stuffie to keep you company?"
You eyed the pile of stuffed animals for a few seconds before responding. "No, I think I'm okay." Copia raises an eyebrow, and you take a few steps toward the door.
Copia grabs a decently-sized stuffed dinosaur from your bed before joining you by the door. "Just in case." He gestures the dino towards you. "Want to carry it?"
You sheepishly smile and bring the animal into your arms, squeezing it tightly for a moment before cradling it. "Thanks."
"Of course."
"You don't think I'm too old for this stuff?"
"They bring you comfort, do they not?"
You nod.
"Then you are never too old for such things."
. . .
Another moment later and you are standing in front of Copia's bedroom door. He holds the door open for you, allowing you to enter first. It's cozy; candles softly light up the room, and you notice a pink lava lamp by the door. On his bedside table, you can also make out a few medications, and bottles of water.
You notice that his room is cold. You assume this is because of the open window, which shows a dark and cloudy sky.
You're surprised to see Terzo and Secondo in the room, both dressed in comfy clothes. Terzo was lying on the bed while Secondo fiddled with Copia's small TV, seemingly trying to connect a DVD player. "Oh, hello."
Copia chuckles as he closes the door behind you. "What, did you think I'd be wrangling you on my own? No, my fratellos here have offered to assist me in aiding in your comfort, and making sure that you do not sneak off."
"Ciao, tesorino," greets Terzo. "How are you feeling? My brother tells us that you are unwell."
"I'm...okay," you tell him, uncertain.
Secondo finishes messing with the TV, finally turning around to look at you. "Okay? You look a little tired."
You throw your hands up in defeat, dinosaur still in hand. "Why does everyone keep saying that? I'm fine! It's a cold!"
"A cold that worried our fratello enough to give us babysitting duty," mumbles Terzo, his arms crossed.
"Well- I am concerned! Look at them! Senza offesa (no offense)," he says that last part to you, looking apologetic briefly before moving to his bedside table to check over his supplies. "Now! I need to make sure we have everything. Primo is coming with tea, I got the nyquil and water, Secondo is setting up a movie; Terzo, did you get the snacks?"
"Si, they're on your dresser."
"Perfetto! Now, y/n- Oh!" Copia yelps in surprise as a loud crack of thunder is heard through his open window. "I suppose it is going to rain..."
"Y/n, would you like to join me?" Terzo pats the space next to him. "My brother is correct, you appear to be a little sleepy."
"Oh, I'm alright with standing for now. Thank you though."
Secondo appeared behind you, placing his hand on your upper back and nudging you forward. "Go lay down." It didn't sound like a request.
"I'm okay, I-" you're interrupted as he quickly swoops you up in his arms, and you drop the dinosaur on the floor in surprise. "Hey!"
He's gentle as he lowers you onto the bed. The dizziness from earlier returns, and you practically melt into the cushions as your head lulls onto Terzo's shoulder.
"S-sorry," you mutter, moving your head onto a pillow instead.
"Non si preoccupi, cara. (don't worry about it, dear.) It's alright, you can snuggle up to me." He winks at you.
Instead you look at the floor with a small frown. "Rupert," you whine.
Secondo lets out a laugh. "You named your dinosaur Rupert!?" When he sees the solemn look on your face, as well as Copia glaring daggers at him, he's quick to backtrack. "I mean, that's a perfect name for him. Very fitting." He retrieves the dinosaur and hands it to you.
You thank him and sit up in the bed. "So, what movie are we watching?"
Terzo is quick to pull you back down, this time helping you underneath the covers. Instinctively, you pull yourself closer to him in an attempt to absorb some of his warmth. "Your favorite."
Before you can answer, Primo strides into the room holding what appears to be an electric kettle. "Sorry I'm late," he announces, "The tea took a little longer than expected. Hello, dear." He greets, taking a mug and filling it with tea. He passes it to you, and you drop Rupert to the side before taking the mug in your hands.
The mug is warm in your cold hands. It smells sweet; you sense a hint of lavender and honey. You take a careful sip, and it tastes just as good as it smells. "Thank you, Papa."
"You're very welcome. That should help sooth your throat, and help you sleep."
"O-oh, I don't really need to sleep. I'll be okay in a bit."
Primo exchanges a knowing glance with Copia. "Now I understand what you mean."
"Stubborn, I know!"
You roll your eyes as you continue taking small sips of the tea, savoring the smooth taste.
"Okay, I've got everything plugged in- Where's the DVD?" Secondo looks to Copia.
"Ah, yes- here it is." Copia passes the DVD case to his brother, and you recognize it as a childhood favorite of yours. "Now, y/n, I've got some cold medicine you can take, here- it'll make you feel better."
He hands you a couple of pills, and you begin to protest. "But won't this make me tired? I really don't need-"
"Yes, you do," he insists, "trust me. It will make you feel so much better when you wake up."
"Trust him on this, y/n. Please." Primo looks at you with concern in his eyes.
You sigh. "Fine."
Secondo finishes setting up the movie, and it begins playing at a low volume. "Okay, everyone on the bed."
You chuckle as the three remaining grown-men pile onto Copia's bed. Even though it was a king size, the five of you had to cuddle close to fit on the bed. You managed to make yourself comfortable in between Terzo and Secondo.
As the beginning scenes of the movies start, another crack of thunder can be heard. Shortly thereafter, the power goes out; then the rain starts, quickly turning into a downpour. It's a calming setting, given that Copia's bedroom was primarily lit by candles anyway.
"Ah, merda," grumbles Secondo, "all that time setting up the DVD player for nothing."
"We could play games instead?" you suggest.
"Maybe something less interactive," Copia says gently. "I could read a book?"
"You'll put us all to sleep from boredom, fratello." Terzo tells him.
"Is that not the goal?" Primo asks.
You sit there, sipping on your tea as you listen to the brothers argue. After what feels like forever, the conversation switches from passing the time to simple chatter. They're discussing anything from childhood memories, to current events, to what they had for breakfast. After a while, you stop adding to the conversation, simply enjoying their presence and hearing their gruff, low voices mix in with the sounds of the rain outside. It's almost like a lullaby.
You readjust yourself to sit more comfortably in-between the two men. After a while, your head is falling to meet Secondo's shoulder, and he finally notices the sleepy trance you've entered. Your eyelids have closed, and the mug of tea in your hands is dangerously close to spilling over.
"Ah, diavolo," he grumbles, "mettiamo a dormire il bambino. (Ah, hell. We've put the kid to sleep.)"
"Che cosa? Fammi vedere (what? let me see); si, it seems we have," Copia sits up to look at you, and Primo follows.
You notice the sudden silence in the room and pry open your eyes, though half-lidded. "Hmm...?"
"Mi dispiace per quello (sorry about that) kiddo, I didn't mean to wake you. Go back to sleep," Secondo whispers, taking the tea from your hands. You whine, weakly reaching your arms out for nothing in particular. Terzo finds Rupert, and places him gently in your arms. You hold him comfortably, moving to nuzzle your face in the dinosaur's belly. When you do so, your head slips from Secondo's shoulder, and you awaken more fully. With a frown, you open your eyes completely and move to sit up, though tiredly.
"Sorry," you manage, voice low and slurring, "didn't mean to sleep."
"That's quite alright," Terzo coos, sitting up with you. He gingerly places a hand on your back and another to your sternum to lower you back down into Secondo's hold. He holds his arms out, pulling you to rest on your side with your head on his chest. Rupert is still in your arms, and you pull him up to cover your face. Dazed and drowsy from the medicine and the tea, you open your eyes to look at the rain falling outside the window. Terzo shifts behind you, curling up close so that you have no room to sit back up. It makes you feel safe.
Secondo adjusts the warm duvet up over your shoulders, and your head falls ever-so-slightly. You readjust yourself to nuzzle your face into his chest, and he melts.
"Who knew teenagers could be so cuddly," he mumbles. You're barely awake, still watching the rain. He kisses the top of your head, then starts softly rubbing you back. A soft exhale escapes your lips, then your eyelids flutter; once, twice, then darkness.
. . .
"Primo, look." Copia nudges his brother, motioning for him to look towards Secondo.
"What? Oh."
On the other side of the bed lies yourself, curled up in Secondo's arms; your mouth pressed into the muzzle of your dinosaur stuffie as you lie on his chest. Secondo lies with his head leaned back against the pillows, mouth agape as deep snores escaped him. Terzo lies directly behind you, arms thrown around your abdomen, face snuggled deep into your upper back. His hair was a mess from the movement.
All three of you deeply asleep.
"Quick, where's your camera phone?" Primo smacked Copia's arm lightly. "We have to keep a record of this. They'll never believe us."
Rumor has it, both Secondo and Terzo keep framed copies of that photo somewhere in their office.

Transcripts of Dave's phone calls
Things done while bedbound with a cold: As usual, Dave has dialogue, and I want it archived on here for ref, quoting, etc. These are the phone calls from the "FN.AF 1 but in DS.AF's universe" spin off game.
Note that they may not be exact since I transcribed by ear but yeah... close enough!
Night 1:
Phone Guy: Hello? Hello hello? I wanted to leave a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually- [ interference ] Dave: Sorry! I just had to cut that asshole off! What a fuckin' passive mack! Anyway, good fuckin' going on landin' a minimum wage job where you have to fend off giant felt-covered bastard-animals that want to snap your neck and stuff you into a fuckin' bear suit. That phone guy left some tapes of his own to help you survive, but honestly, they didn't do him much good. Spoiler alert: he fuckin' DIED! What a nerd! So, good 'ol Davey is gonna give you some of his pre-recorded safety tips. Step number one: don't let those bastards lay a finger on you. They can, and will, stuff you into a bear suit. Take it from me, those suits smell like slaughtered toddlers. Step number two: don't use too much power. You have two blast doors on either side of you, and two door lights. You can use those to check when the robots are comin', and if they're ready to pounce on ya, you can create a titanium fuckin' barrier between you and the deranged rabbit tryin' to fuck you up! Sadly, those impractical design measures were designed by me… meaning… they're a fuckin' hinderance. Both the doors and the lights sap your power, and if your power metre runs t'zero, the bear is gonna come out and fuck you up! Remember, you can't out-wrestle a fuckin' bear so make sure you don't run outta power! By the way, this place is totally fuckin' haunted, and that's on me! I sorta murdered a few dozen kids back in the '80s and stuffed them into the robots outta pure spite for the company. Don't worry though, kids don't count as real people. I'll call ya tomorrow, and remember you can't out-wrestle the bear so don't even try! [ phone hangs up ]
Night 2:
Phone Guy: Hello? Well, uh… if you're hearing this, then you made it to Day 2… uh, congrats! Uh, uh I won't talk as long this time- [ interference ] Dave: Hey! How y'doin', man? It's me again, Big Dick Davey! Night two, eyy? Good job on not gettin' stuffed into a tacky bear suit! Honestly, the night should be the same as last night was, just with slightly angrier robots who'll try to rip your throat out twice as hard. Oh, I forgot to mention, you're probably well acquainted with the bear, the rabbit, and the duck by now, but there's a fourth one in the building. Yeah, there's a fuckin' fax behind that tacky-shitty purple curtain in the dining area. Yeah, that fax is fuckin' mental, by the way. He's goin' t'slowly peep out of his curtain and then charge at you like a fuckin' banshee. He's a twitchy and decisive prick! Also, the company seems to have a thing for that fax, to be perfectly honest. Company tried to build a Faxy themed strip club… awful fuckin' idea. One orange bastard got far too touchy with the fax, if you catch my drift. Faxy's a real special character, though. A fan favourite… and the only robot at Freddy's who ever got to visit the Gra.nd Cany.on. Oh, if he charges at you, close the left door as soon as you hear his rabid fuckin' scream. If you're not in the office when he charges at ya, may Fr.edbear have mercy your soul. Well, that's enough pretending that I care about your safety for this night… I'll call you tomorrow with more Freddy's related bullshit trivia. See ya on the meme side! [ phone hangs up ]
Night 3:
Phone Guy: Hello, hello? Hey! You're doin' great! Um, most people- [ interference ] Dave: Hey-yo, doggo! It's me! Davey! Wow… Night 3! Incredible! See, if there's one thing I can do, it's give bad advice to future nightguards. By the way, since these messages are pre-recorded, I have no actual idea if you're actually alive or not… let's be honest, statistically, you probably died back on Night 1. Pricessless! If you're still alive, worry not! To survive the night, just do the same shit you did last night, but better! Yeah, those robots really want you dead because they think you're me. Yeah, long story short, I put on a fuckin' rabbit suit back in the '80s and lured some kids into the back room. Then I strangled 'em and stuffed 'em all into the robots. Now, I know what'cher thinkin'… 'What the hell is wrong with you, Davey?!" Rest assured, I'm just an eggplant man who gets a kick outta gettin' shitty haunted pizzerias shut down. Granted, I'm the reason most of 'em are haunted in the first place… by the way, nightguards who survive this far usually see weird things due to stress, and/or drinkin' the rubbing alcohol in the supply closet. You might see a shitty yellow recolour of the bear. If you do, just flip your camera monitor t'snap yourself outta it. Just don't dick around, and you'll be fine. I'll speak you tomorrow, dude. And remember: you might not be able to out-wrestle the bear, but you certainly can't out-wrestle the golden bear! [ phone hangs up ]
Night 4:
Dave: Hey! Dave again, I have a surprise for ya, man! Listen to this shit… it's hilarious! [ The FN.AF Night 4 call plays with Phone Guy being killed. ] Dave: Wasn't that fuckin' gold? Pardon the pun… he got fucked! Hard! Anyway… I'm massively fuckin' hunged over from drinkin' all of the rubbing alcohol in the supply closet last night. So Imma go have a fuckin' nap… catch ya later! [ phone hangs up ]
Night 5:
[ The possessed voice from FN.AF Night 5's call plays ] [ interference ] Dave: Hey there, man! Sorry to interrupt… whatever that was! You see, I've just realised somethin'… Most people who work here end up the exact same way: stuffed into a bear suit within half a week. I gotta wonder what kinda person would just get a job here, all willy-nilly, and then out-survive a man designed to make those robots behave. Bullshit! Y'aren't some rookie fresh off the street. You've manned this gig before. You're a Freddy's veteran, somebody with experience. According to my calculations, there's only two people that could be… a nerd named "Je.remy Fi.tzgerald", who by my calculations is basically a vegetable now, or… old sport! It must be you! Nobody else could just plop their ass down and survive four nights like it's nothin' at all… old sport… oh how I've missed you! You came back! Y'always come back! Have you come back for me, old sport? Have you come back for 'ol Davey? I knew it! I just knew that'cha really loved me! … Look. I have t'go, old sport. But, I'll be right back tomorrow night! Okay, stay alive, old sport… I'll speak to you again tomorrow, sportsy! [ phone hangs up ]
Night 6:
Dave: Old sport! I can't believe you've come back! You have no idea how much I've missed you, how much we've missed you! We're a family, old sport! Freddy's is a family… I thought you had abandoned us, old sport… but now it's clear t'me. We can be partners again! You have no idea how lonely these last few years have been, old sport… my life was dead without you, but, you were lost and now you are found. I'm comin' back for ya, old sport! I'm goin' t'come back and find you, I'm goin' to come find you, I'm going to come find you… [ Call ends ]
