Text
I'm on my Hogwarts house bullshit cause I'm in Sirius cosplay rn and have blue hair and had a REVELATION
Anyways,
Everyone thinks that, between Ravenclaw and Slytherin, that Slytherin's the one who holds the reins, so to speak. Whenever they're in public, Slytherin usually takes the lead in conversations, while Ravenclaw is content to listen and only offer their take every now in then.
But they're wrong, because as soon as Ravenclaw is in a space they're comfortable with, off comes the filter, and you realize that they've got the dirtiest mouth in the country. Their words would leave even the most weathered, inappropriate sailors blushing like schoolgirls, and the thing Slytherin loves the most about this is that only one person gets to hear them say, and see them do, these things.
And that person is Slytherin themselves.
(Disclaimer: this is a generalization!!! not all ravenclaws are like this + not all slytherins are like this. It was just a thing that was in my brain ^^)

MATCHUP FOR:
@celie-voss
My name's Marie, I'm 26, my pronouns are she/her and I'm a bisexual ace.
My most defining trait is probably my humor, my sarcasm and the faces I make (mostly i don't even know I'm grimacing until someone reacts to the face I make). Also I always cary some sweets with me (my love language is food and cooking and I always try to provide some sweets for my friends.)
My flaws are mostly my mental issues. Some people say I'm smart aleck, I know a lot of stuff (unnecessary and nerdy things mostly) and am kinda verbal incontinent, so stuff just blurts out sometimes. I live in chaos, but I guess that because of my ADHD.
I'm kinda shy (you know why) and I seem very cold and unapproachable until you meet me, than I'm bubbly and like a excited Chihuahua. I love to gossip, mostly about royals (it's a family thing) and I love drama, eventhough had a lot of that in my own life.
I'm a infp-t and deep down, behind my sarcastic and sometimes cold appearance, a little romantic. I'm a pure Hufflepuff with some Slytherin traits (depends on my phases) and I love cars (old muscle cars) and animals (especially big and scary dogs, just want to pet these good Doggos) Oh, and I guess my driving style is one of my flaws, been called Panzerfahrer within my group of friends. But hey, no risk no fun, right? I mean I grew up with jackass soooo... S My taste in music is wide ranged, from classic music, metal and everything alternative, to rock'n'roll, rap and some medival bands. In my freetime I mostly watch movies or tv series, I always need some noise.
I'm chubby with midlenght hair, mostly dyed red or orange, I have some piercings, flesh tunnels in my ears and some tattoos. I love cozy and oversized shirts and sweaters, chucks and ripped jeans. My most recognizable features are my freckles and my always bright colored glasses.
My hobbies are reading and writing, singing (I used to play bass, ukulele, keyboard and tried to learn guitar), knotting bracelets, shooting (been in a sports shooting club and I own a bow), cooking and driving.

«All these people think love's for show but I would die for you in secret».
Duffers give my wife a surname challenge.
You kinda give off Robin vibes ngl.
Vickie thought you wanted to kill her at first and I'm 100% certain about this. You just looked mean
But also so pretty? Platonically of course because she's definitely not attracted to girls. Like, at all, but women are so pretty, specially you, you're so pretty—
You get introduced by Robin probably because 1)It Takes One To Know One and 2)she's in band with Vickie and in drama with you.
After talking like five minutes with you Vickie realizes two things; you're definitely the opposite of mean, and she definitely likes girls.
Your sarcasm and humor makes her dead ass snort. She gets loose with you and she's actually kinda brutal sometimes.
You encourage her to get a tattoo and she's anxious the whole way there, but for sure she'll get more because it was so fun.
She's definitely the one to ask you out. And then she literally dies.
Chaotic couple but like, love that for you.
You give off the vibe of two grandmas who have been married for DECADES.
You're so romantic around each other but like, hush, no one has to know.
You two could plan a successful, traceless murder together (Ravenclaw x Hufflepuff) and I don't even know how to explain this but that's some couple goals shit.
INFP x ENFP SUPREMACY.
She'll drag you anywhere with her. Maybe it's the grocery store, maybe it's Canada. You'll never know, she's just random like that.
Vickie gets super giddy when you cook for her. She definitely tries to help at some point and fails miserably.
Now she just sits by the kitchen counter and rambles to you about any gossip she got from band that day.
She sports the brightest smile while you introduce her to your plant babies (two plant moms here I'm telling you).
You two are The Helpers. Always willing to lend a hand. The both of you run to the gym after the "Earthquake" when you find out they organized a shelter/infirmary.
I'm talking SPRINT to your car. Lost no time in getting there (thanks to your... Driving style.)
Talking about driving style. This woman will smile like a maniac when you drive her around. Everyone's like "Vickie no, you're going to die" and she's just climbing into the passenger seat like 😃.
You taught Vickie how to knit and she gifted you the ugliest scarf you've ever seen. You love it.
Some people may not understand the way you live, it's so chaotic and hard to keep up with, but you and Vickie just Know How To Do It, so you're in constant tandem.

7 Minutes in Heaven (Jaehyun x you) 🔞
Okay this is suggestive and not suitable for under 18 readers, so please continue only if you’re going to bear the consequences. No it’s not super smuty, it’s just not a good thing to copy :)
Warning : don’t kiss random strangers, don’t drink, don’t smoke, wrap up or you’re skipping a nine month bloody day :”)... Jungwoo is your bestfriend, Shy!Jaehyun and you’re bold enough to try new things...
anyways this has been in my laptop for a while, wanted to post it on Halloween but didn’t finish it back then... soooo embrace yourself for a new journey of how it might be like to play 7 minutes in heaven with Jaehyun
here goes my (suggestive) fanfic... hope this won’t make you cringe
________________________________________________________________
“So…you're saying the boys think I am a pure innocent girl?” You scoff and laugh upon the remark Jungwoo just said.
“Well they don't believe me when I said you're totally different outside campus.” The man with blue hair bashfully looks around the canteen.
You pick up your fork and continue poking in chicken chunks to your small mouth, “And why are you telling this exactly?”
Jungwoo deadpan looks at you and leans closer, “Why don't you proof them wrong? They've labeled you as the boring mechanical engineering girl!”
He slams the table a bit dramatically, to which you shudder.
“Easy… you'll break the table! Well sorry, but they're not totally wrong. I'm a regular mechanical engineering girl, boring, studying all the time, nerd, and just never coming to parties!” you give him a dry chuckle.
“Look this is not the true you! I've known you since high school! I know how crazy the boys were whenever you pass by! I'll be honest there were like 5 hot guys who had crush on you in high school, just that sorry I told them you're not allowed to date yet.” Jungwoo trails off and feels a bit guilty when he finally spills the beans he has been hiding.
Your eyes fly open and your mouth too, you drop your spoon and grunt, “Say that again… you cock-blocked me?!”
Jungwoo closes his eyes and inhales a deep breath, “I'm saving your future! I just don’t want them to you know use you and throw you away…”
You hit the spoon to the metal tray, and it made a good “BANG"
“Surprise surprise you told me this after like I don’t know five years maybe. You made the men who liked me back away before even trying to reach me out! Jungwoo all my life I thought I was the one with problem?! I thought no one likes nerds like me; when I myself believe I am a fun girl!” your rage bubbles up from within.
You feel like crying, all these times you thought you were imperfect, you were never a crush for men, you've dealt with your insecurities. You overcome dark times when you see your friends walking through the hallway, having the spotlight on them. You thought you can never be that just because you're an A-grade-student. You did have Jungwoo standing by your side through high school, and he's a good friend who you cannot see as a man.
Your friendship with Jungwoo is indeed a beneficial one, since both of you love science and calculations. You have a study friend and voila you both made it to you best engineering school!
Just as you thought campus life will be lit, since you can “reset" your image, be the fun student on weekend, and study well on weekdays.
But no. You’re overworked with the tasks and quizzes, and to ensure your scholarship is still there, you need a minimum of 3.0 in GPA and that means you’re saying goodbye to parties and hello to enough sleep.
You're mad now when you think of it. Jungwoo has been a cock-block since grade 10 and maybe until today when he finally realized what he had done.
You massage your temple and look in disgust at your unfinished food.
You push your chair back and stand up, “I am mad at you. I don't feel like eating. Good bye Jungwoo..”
“WAIT! i'm sorry I know I was a jerk… but please let me fix it… give me a chance..” he begs you
Your mind is set already, and you shake your head, “I can fix it by myself. So long” you wave and quickly run to the bathroom.
There you let out your emotion in one of the locked toilets and you pull yourself back when you figure a way out to proof them wrong.
You're not the typical book-worm boring mechanical student. You’re you and that will blow the house on fire tonight.
You wash your face in the sink and pamper up yourself from the messy state. You're a fan of make up and you've always had natural looks over your pretty face.
Quickly you draw back your mascara and eye liners, one smack of lip gloss and you're smiling all the way to your next class. Writing.
Johnny greets you in front of the lecture class, he tells you about the upcoming party Lucas will hold this Saturday and Johnny suggests you come and see what it feels like to have some relaxation and fun. He knows midterm has just ended and he is sure you don't have lies to excuse yourself from the invitation.
“Great guess I can make it. Need that fun nights you know. Any theme?”
“Oh, it'll be a costume party since it’s Halloween.” Johnny explains.
You smirk already having lots of ideas in your mind. “Okay see you there then!”
“Nice! Dress up nicely, it's a competition!”
You give him two thumbs up.
--
“Sooo what are you going to wear?” Jungwoo finally gets to talk to you after trying so hard to win your forgiveness.
“I am not going as your couple okay.. I’m going simple this time. I don't want to try too hard.” You smile remembering how you're always prepared for costume parties.
“Let me see, I’ve won Bonnie and Clyde costume… last year we showed up as marry Poppins. Now I just want to enjoy the party.” You plop into your bed and stretch. The party is tomorrow night and Jungwoo is staying over tonight because he needs to finish his costume.
“What? Tell me…” he asks while sticking his props to you don't really know what costume is he going with.
“see me tomorrow okay…”
Jungwoo rolls his eyes when he sees what you appear with tomorrow.
“Seriously?! You’re keeping it a secret. Just to come to the party dressed as a Ravenclaw student!”
You turn around to final check your appearance. Well coming as a Ravenclaw is what you want today.
Jungwoo is by your side ready in his F1 racer costume.
Everything as fun and cool you're having a blast when you see Jungwoo's frats brothers. One man caught your attention when he looks so cute in his Slytherin costume. Your eyes dilate when he flashes a smile to another person, but you caught the smile.
“Whew that is hot.” You whisper to yourself and keep your eyes on him. You never hear Jungwoo talking about him, but seeing him seated nicely between Doyoung and Taeyong, you knew he belongs in that frats. Doyoung and Taeyong are the boys from your music class and they're your best friend.
“hey (y/n)!! Come! We’re playing spin the bottle!” Johnny calls you over to join the table full of 23 men and several girls lounging over the empty seat.
You bring yourself to the seat next to Jungwoo and you're face to face with the cute slytherin boy.
You fix your skirt and calmly cross your legs while watching the man's reaction across you. He was caught watching you but when your eyes met, he quickly averts his gaze away and drinks his cup.
The game starts and you're drowned in alcohols. Well when they ask you stupid personal questions, you're shy to answer, you choose to drink.
Jungwoo keeps on telling you to stop, “Hey enough! You downed three shots .. too fast girl.” He holds your hand before you chug another shot.
Johnny sends a smug look, “Hey Jungwoo why don't you be her dark horse? If you think she drank too much, take a double shot.”
Jungwoo is not the best alcohol drinker and he needs to make sure you got home safe, before he can open his mouth a deep voice makes the whole room move their head to face him.
“I'll take her shots.” The Slytherin boy downs two cups like they were nothing and you catch his ears turning red.
“Thank you…” your voice trails off.
“It's Jaehyun,” he winks.
You pop your lips, “Yeah Jae, thanks!”
The room cheers and starts throwing cat calls to the two of you. You remain calm while deep inside your heart you're dying to squeal and bury your face. Jaehyun on the other side is also turning red, but his sweet smile is still there.
The bottle spins again and this time it points to Jaehyun and he chooses dare.
“Okay Okay this is gonna be fun!!” Mark claps his hands after him and Johnny whisper about the plan.
“Jae, you and the person across you go in that closet and do the 7 minutes in heaven thing… or drink” Johnny clicks his tongue. The room cheers and you can see it's you they meant ..
“Across me?” Jaehyun rubs his neck slowly, he somehow feels shy around you.
“Yeah (y/n)!” Doyoung punches his shoulder, “I'm doing it if I were you"
Taeyong claps his hands and pushes Jaehyun to stand up.
“Just do it!” someone else is also pushing you, it was Lucas.
You did not object and just shrug your shoulder.
Without further ado, you and Jaehyun are forced into the small closet.
They close the door and gosh you hear a click.
It’s dark inside, but somehow there’s a good air circulation at least you two won’t die out of breath.
You can’t really see him, but with the small lights penetrating through the space, you swear your heart is beating super fast. He looks ethereal.
“You good? Sorry they did this to you.” Jaehyun starts the conversation.
You let out a small chuckle, “No..it's fine. I'm okay… I’m not claustrophobic nor afraid of the dark.”
He laughs nervously, “Nice, me too.”
“Thanks for taking my shot earlier.” You try to break the thin air.
“No problem,” he fidgets with his fingers.
“So… are you gonna kiss me or we're keeping this safe?” you slap yourself for saying that out loud. Jaehyun swears he thank the darkness that his burning red face is hidden.
He chokes and coughs, you quickly apologize “Sorry. I didn’t mean to surprise you. Look, I thought you were the kind of guys who will just be straight forward and keep things casual.”
Jaehyun laughs, his laugh sounds sweet you almost melt.
“And I thought you're a shy quiet innocent girl.” He licks his lips. Well he's fast in reading the atmosphere and he knows if the time is right, he'll get that lips he has been eyeing since you entered the room.
You feel your cheek warming, “Ah.. yeah sorry Maybe you don’t see me interesting. I'm just the boring-"
“no. You're not. Girl you're not what people say.”Jaehyun cuts your sentence.
His hands cup your cheeks, “You're brave and oh I am the shyest boy here and I just like girls like you.” He blurts it out.
You feel your heart clench, really a handsome man like him who can win every girl's heart with one smile and wink… is a shy boy?
“You're telling me... you're a shy boy.. even when you can win the girls with one wink and a smile.”
He blushes, “Well… did I win your heart like that??”
You sigh, “Actually you won my heart with the Slytherin coat and you did toss me a smile. My heart somersault when you took my shots.”
He chuckles, “Can I make a confession?”
You nod, “Sure, what happens here stays here.”
He leans closer and whispers, “I've never kissed a girl before and you too look cute little Ravenclaw.”
Your eyes linger to his plump wet lips, you bite yours. Oh gosh you were also a virgin! You've never kissed anyone, but you're going to break that image, right? Tonight, Is the right time you guess.
“May I?” you ask. Fuck the stereotype girls can also start kisses.
Jaehyun did not reply anything instead he brings his hand to cup your face and with one hand in your chin he leans in to mold his lips into yours.
You feel electricity running in your body and your mind is full of stars. Your stomach is doing things and oh you regret not kissing him sooner. His lips indeed taste good and the way he holds your neck is enough to make you squirm.
You open your mouth and his tongue slips in. You're loud. You swear anyone could hear the two of you making out. But his soft touch and his slow head movement makes you crave more.
He almost pulls back thinking you don't want this, but you're faster. You push yourself to him more and run your fingers to his hair. You play with his hair according to how your body tingles by his kiss.
He pulls back to take a short breathing and you smile when the two of you just lean on the walls and take in as much air as you can. Jaehyun feels like crawling into a hole, he just had an intense first kiss with you, the girl he secretly put interest in for the last six months.
“Was I good?” he glances to you.
You smirk, “If this is what I’ll get every time we kiss, I’m addicted already.”
He scoots closer and in that small room, he manages to pull you up on his lap. You chuckle but follow his game.
“Can I taste that soft cherry again?” he whispers hoarsely, and you shudder. Hey, weren’t you going to show how not innocent you are but why are you so pliant and shy under this Shy Slytherin boy?
You peck his lips, “I'm afraid our seven minutes timer is up.”
He brings his hands to your waist, “No one is opening the door yet for us. Might as well seize the opportunity.”
You chuckle, “Good at bargaining huh?” and you lean in for another hot make out session.
“So… can we two be a thing?” he asks with his wet swollen lips.
You put your hands on his shoulder “I don't know. Can a Ravenclaw date a Slytherin?”
He laughs at your obsession of Harry Potter. “I don’t know. Should we test it?”
You bend your neck and hide it on his neck. Inhaling a quick whiff of his musk cologne.
“Well I don’t see anything wrong in trying..”
“I wish I could see your face now. Because right now.. my face is burning… “
“I can feel your heartbeat Honey,” you giggle as you plant your palm over his fast heartbeat.
“Slow down or you'll get a heart attack.” You rub his shoulder blades
“It's getting hot here or is it just me?” he fans his hand
You knock your hand to the door and yell, “Hey guys it's been more than seven minutes! We need air.”
You hear someone shuffle to the door and unlocks it.
You did not move from his lap, you wait til that person is out and when you hear no one else is in the room, you kick the door opens.
Lights come into your peripherals and you quickly close the big room's door.
Jaehyun tosses you a questioning look
You shrug your shoulder, “Happiness can be found even in the darkest place when one turns on the lights.”
“Such a fanatic here!” he picks you up and pushes you to the wall. You can see his starry eyes now under the lights and oh gosh they were so pretty.
You can see his deep dimple showing whenever he gives you a side smile and your hands find their way to cup his face.
Like casted by the love potion you bend your neck to kiss him. His lips is an addiction and you're blaming the alcohol for whatever happens afterward.
“I guess you're going home alone Woo,” Lucas said when he passed by the locked room and his face turns red upon hearing the sinful noises.
Jungwoo chugs down another drink, “Let her, she's big enough to take care of herself.”
“And why are you not bringing her to parties sooner? I thought she was the regular boring student.” Haechan was jealous of Jaehyun. Hell, he found you super intriguing too.
Jungwoo smirks, “Told you she’s not like the others.”
Lucas pats his shoulder, “And you're not the one getting laid. Be patient okay…”
Jungwoo laughs out loud, “Hell no, we're bestie since long time. I can’t see her as a woman. We’re good. Jae can have her.”
Jaehyun looks hot without his coat and after climbing down the high. The best one you two ever had. You were laying down on the big mattress staring to the ceiling and catching breaths with Jaehyun beside you.
“Do you think Jungwoo will hate me?” Jaehyun picks out a cigarette box he found in the closet earlier.
You shake your head, “He'll be happy I got laid finally.”
Jaehyun huffs a cloud of smoke, you ask him “you think the boys will think of me as less? Like maybe they see me as the same cheap sl-"
Jaehyun presses a finger over your lips “No. They don't and won't. They are not that type of men. They respect women's choices. In contrast, I’m sure if they hear our story, they’ll be jealous.”
A small smile comes to your lips, the naughty side of yours is awake. “Oh yeah? Then try it. Tell them about us and see if they're jealous.”
Jaehyun offers you the stick of cigarette, you're not a new smoker. Actually, you smoke sometimes to relax, you smoke a special herbal one… and this is one of it.
“Whaoh you're not a newbie?” he sounds surprised when you did not cough after taking the first smoke.
“I did sometimes the herbal ones.” You blow a cloud of smoke.
“Funny how we have a lot in common, but we just know one another tonight.”
You smile, “in seven minutes actually.”
He hugs you from the side, “Yeah the best seven minutes in heaven.”
*op hides in the corner* end
how is it??? aaaa I guess it’s soo bad :”)

Ginny Weasley Twin HCs
Warnings: mentions of death
Word Count: ~2,4k
Request: Okay can I get some Headcanons about the reader being Ginny's twin sister and while (at least book) Ginny is brave and courageous and really badass, she's just really shy and small and silent and loves flowers and all that and (just because the gist of it) she's still in Gryffindor (she is extremely Loyal (which is kinda more hufflepuff), but because she'd immediately jump in to save everyone she's in the house. And long story short how the fam and the trio (who all see her as a smol sister) 'deal' with her and maybe what would happen if she'd fall in love with someone you choose (idk, malfoy, neville, Luna, you decide)
Requested by my sweetheart honeybee queen
A/N: I got tired towards the end but here you guys go
------------------------------------------------------------
Before Hogwarts:
when Arthur and Molly got you two they were over the moon
they told each other they would stop getting children when they had a daughter and now they got two beautiful baby girls at once
but also they lowkey hope you don’t turn out like your rambunctious older twin brothers
So first of all you two get absolutely adored by your older brothers, especially Bill and Charlie
those two will carry you around the whole day long and talk to you and play with you, adorable
when Percy starts learning how to read he will read to you two every evening and he won’t take a no from his parents
getting older Fred and George saw new victims for their pranks and Ron being the closest to your age got annoyed by always having to play girl stuff with you two
from a young age on you were quieter than your siblings and often shied away from the activities they did, you wouldn’t even interact with other children that lived close by
Molly and Arthur were concerned about this but let you be, they thought that you would eventually get around to it and boy were they wrong
you were always more interested in nature, the flowers and plants and what different traits and effects they had
besides that you also started learning how to read fairly early on thanks to our favourite family nerd Percy and stuffed your nose in every book that your tiny hands could grab
cooking and baking with your mother was also high on the list of things you enjoyed
honestly your more laid back and quieter demeanor was a blessing for Arthur and Molly
but whatever you did you could never run away from your sister
Ginny was still able to drag you into her stuff
stealing your brothers brooms and going for a ride, putting spiders in Ron’s bed, making tea out of plants that give weird side effects… you did it all and never got blamed for it. i mean, Fred and George usually did those things after all
Hogwarts 1st + 2nd year:
when Ginny and you went to Hogwarts it was quite a surprise for you and your family that you were sorted into Gryffindor
okay hear me out for a second, everyone in your family got sorted there so why would it be a surprise? well you were always far more loyal and hardworking than brave or courageous and your family knew that. besides that the sorting hat took literally five minutes to sort you in because he was in a Hufflepuff/Gryffindor dilemma but non the less here you were standing as a Gryffindor
your first year was far too eventful for your liking and it all started with Ron and Harry driving your fathers car to school on the first damn day, then there was the whole heir of Slytherin thing, students being paralyzed, Ginny being dragged into the chamber of secrets and almost dying, and Harry and your older brother Ron getting down there to save her
what kind of shitshow was this?
after everything that happened in this school year and your siblings getting in danger you promised yourself you would become strong enough to protect them and with that in mind you went into your second year
second year went… better than the first
i mean if you ignored the fact that a mass murderer broke out of Azkaban and the school being guarded by dementors
but at least you now had a competent Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher, I see this as a win
you spend most of your time learning and hanging out with your sister and friends you made, one of them being Neville Longbottom, a gryffindor boy one year above you
you two became quick friends during your first year at Hogwarts over your shared love for herbology and you bonded over being shyer individuals
with him you had the most fun and talked was by far the easiest no matter the subject
another friend of you made was Luna Lovegood, a ravenclaw girl in your year which was a more weirder individual but still a lot of fun to be around
and because of Ron your circle of friends expanded to Harry and Hermine
Harry thought you were a really nice contrast to your siblings and Hermine immediately adopted you as her little sister, no questions asked
shortly said, they loved you as well
the year went by mostly uneventful which was nice, then the third year came
Hogwarts 3rd and 4th year:
it started absolutely fantastic even before the school year started because your father and siblings went to the Quidditch World Cup which got run over by Death Eaters at the end of the day while you were at home with your mother
that already warned you about the year to come
at Hogwarts Dumbledore announced the Triwizard Tournament which your school would host that year, which also brought students of two different schools with it, great
also, hahaha, your new DADA teacher was absolutely terrifying in your eyes, good luck
but thankfully stuff went as normal as it can be
then… “Come on Y/N why don’t you help as for once!” “Yeah nobody will know anyways!”
“I am not going to brew you two a bloody aging potion so you can put your names in the goblet of fire and enter that stupid tournament! People have died in it! Besides that if you don’t stop pestering me I will tell this professor McGonagall.”
“You would rat your own brothers out?” “Nobody likes someone like that,”
you blankly stared at them for 20 seconds before they got scared by your expressionless face and left
they left you alone after that, idiots
two months later, the champions got announced, the first task was over, which made you able to see your brother Charlie for a few days, and then the yule ball got announced which meant you got dancing lessons by non other than your head of house professor McGonagall
after the lessons you and Neville would go hang out in one of the green houses and take care of some of the plants, just like now
“It’s so unfair, you are allowed to go to the yule ball but I don’t and I still have to take the dancing lessons.”
“But what if a fourth year asks you to go with him?”
“Oh please Neville nobody would want to go with me!”
“I would like to go with you.”
cue silence and intense blushing
well if he says it like that…
the evening of the yule ball became yours and Neville's first date and many came after that and so also the start of your relationship
your dates mostly consisted of trips to Hogsmead, picnics and walks along the Hogwarts grounds and study dates
it was amazing
and your first kiss happened in March during one of your many walks
none of you knew how exactly it happened and who made the first step but it was very sweet and innocent
also cuddling while the two of you are on your own is a must, nobody can stop it
you and Neville decided to keep your relationship a secret for the time being and it worked, nobody knew, not even Ginny
then the school year ended and you had to say goodbye for two long months
it was also the time when the order of the phoenix came back and your parents and two oldest brothers became a part of it
you moved into the headquarters at Grimmauld Place and everything got turned upside down
you weren’t supposed to tell anyone about this, which you didn’t, but you couldn’t resist writing letters to Neville
and then someone found out, a little shit by the name of Sirius Black
i mean sooner or later it would have happened but it was a surprise that it was nobody from your family
did he tease you? yes, but he promised not to tell anyone and gave you really good advice on relationships and how to handle problems and fears you might have
Sirius quickly became someone you could confide into about almost anything you could talk about with your family and for you he became part of the family
you even called him ‘uncle Sirius’ the day you left for Hogwarts again and boy was this man in tears
with that one of the worst years in your life started and all thanks to one person
Dolores Jane Umbridge, not one word was bad enough to describe her because the word was still better than her
if someone was the bane of your existence it was her
you finally wanted to stand up for yourself and you did but then detention came and threw you back down
your siblings, Neville, Harry and Hermine quickly noticed the shift in your demeanor and how you became closed off which you never were before
shy and held back but not closed off
they soon found out what happened and “The Y/N Protection Squad” was founded, be ready to get bothered by them at all times, you never going to be alone
then the DA came around and you of course joined alongside your siblings, friends and boyfriend Neville
it was one of the best things that happened to you in months
finally you could show what you got in you
you and Ginny became a power duo, your brothers were shocked to say the least
and you and Neville finally decide to make your relationship official
your siblings, shocked that their pure innocent sister has had a boyfriend for over a year, but not surprised it’s Neville
protective annoying older sibling squad activated
but you nor Neville cared, you were happy and as long as you two stayed that way everything would be okay
then you went to the Ministry of Magic with Harry, Ron, Hermine, Ginny, Neville and Luna
everything turned upside down when you got attacked by the death eaters and when they got a hold of you all
you were afraid, but you were more afraid of your siblings and friends than yourself
especially when you saw that Bellatrix LeStrange had her grip on Neville
he told you about his parents and he even wanted you to meet them but now you were afraid that it might never come to it
insert Sirius and the rest of the order of the phoenix, they saved you but a price was paid in the form of him dying
it changed you in so many ways that you had to question yourself and the things you knew
Hogwarts 5th and 6th year + Battle of Hogwarts:
your fifth year went pretty much as normal as your third for most of the time
school was finally quieting down and you had more time to process what happened at the ministry and all the years before
you concentrated more on school and your still building relationship with Neville, being able to walk through Hogwarts while holding hands and hugging and kissing him whenever you wanted
it was nice, you also found more time you could spend with Ginny and Luna which was much needed
but all good things had to end
the death eaters made their way into the castle and wreaked havoc
they destroyed everything they saw, they made Hagrid's hut go up in flames, they killed Dumbledore and after that put the dark mark up in the sky
changes happened quickly after that
thankfully the summer break came and with that the wedding of Bill and Fleur
even after everything that happened towards the end of the school year and when the order brought Harry to the burrow it was relieving to have something as exciting and somewhat normal as a wedding in these dark times
you helped where you could and you were allowed to invite Neville
it went amazing for most of the day but bad things just seem to come your way
Harry, Ron and Hermine left to find the horcruxes Voldemort made and you had to get back to school
it was different than before, everything was and you should have been used to it but you weren’t
this was the most tiring school year of all and it took a toll on every single student
then the day came and the moment you saw your brother and friends again you knew you would be doomed but it didn’t hinder you to sprint towards them and give them the longest and strongest hugs you could muster up
the battle started only a while after that and you gave all that you got to fight them off with the others
it was long and tiring but in the end the dark lord got defeated once and for all but there was nothing to celebrate
many people died and under them your brother Fred, you broke after that
Neville held you in his arms the whole time until you fell asleep
After Hogwarts:
you continued and finished school with good grades and started training to become a potions master
it just fitted with your love for herbology and your interested in the different effects they could have when put together and made into something entirely else
Neville upgraded from boyfriend to husband only a few months after you graduated
you two knew the other was the one for you and nothing would change that so why don’t put a label on it to say that one is mine for forever
Neville became the new herbology teacher after professor Sprout and you became new potions teacher after professor Slughorn
you just couldn’t be separated from each other
the future brought also two beautiful twin boys your way and a lot of chaos but with the family you already had you were used to it
Neville was not
you still manage it just as you do with everything
and with your other siblings getting kids as well family meetings were getting much more crowded to say the least
you stared at your nieces, nephews and sons while they were running around playing games and screaming at each other
“honestly love, I am regretting being pregnant again.”
“you aRE WHAT?!”
oh what a sweet life

Chapter 5: This Is My Now
Summary: Sorting Ceremony
THE ride to the castle is not as eventful as Draco predicted, despite the slight delay caused when Ron Weasley loudly complains that Draco took his spot and Hagrid, realizing that all other boats already have four students, redirects him to be the fifth in the next boat over. Harry is too busy admiring the sight of the giant castle before them, with what looks like every visible window lit up against the night sky, to pay Weasley much mind. He understands now what someone means when they say something is breathtaking, because he’s sure he stopped breathing for a moment when he first saw it, and isn’t sure he’s quite managed to catch his breath as the boats take off across the lake.
He’s not the only one fascinated. There is silence except for the sound of water lapping against the magically propelled boats as their journey starts, with whispers only starting up when they’re about halfway across. Their boat is in the lead, but the fleet of boats--which Hagrid informs them is nineteen out of the school’s total of thirty-six--are close enough that the voices of one carry over to the occupants of those closest. Granted, Harry thinks, it’s possible that it only seems that way because Ron Weasley, in the boat just behind theirs on the left, is loudly complaining about Draco Malfoy having shoved him out of the way when he was going to sit with Harry Potter. A blatant lie that Draco scoffs at, but doesn’t deem to try to refute from this distance.
When they disembark on the other side of the lake, they are on a landing stage slightly sheltered by rock formations. Hagrid looks them over, making Draco smile at Harry knowingly when he picks Neville’s frog up from their boat and hands the animal back to him, reminding him to hold onto it this time. Then, when he’s sure that no student has been lost, he leads them up some stone steps. Harry thinks this must have been a cave at some point, rocky walls closing in slightly on either side with lanterns alternating from one side to the other to light their way, and he thinks it’s a good thing he’s not claustrophobic as the shadows they cast on the ceiling make it almost look like it’s moving down closer to them.
At the top of the stairs is a stone landing, similar to the one below they’d stood on after getting out of the boats, but the bright lanterns on either side of the door make the design on it clearly visible. The stones are gray, with a darker one used to create a capital letter H. The door before them, a large, sturdy-looking wooden door with metal bands across it and a small little hatch in the door. When Hagrid pounds his fist heavily against the wood, Harry expects it to open and a face to peer out, but instead the door opens completely, light flooding out from inside, and standing there is none other than the dark-haired witch, Professor McGonagall, in emerald green robes.
“Evenin’, Professor,” Hagrid greets. “Got yer first years here, all seventy-seven of ‘em.”
“Thank you, Hagrid. Come along then.”
They shuffle in after her and find themselves now in a brightly lit room. There’s a large rug covering most of the stone floor, and directly across the door they come in through is a large fireplace, with an equally large fire lit and blazing within. It makes the room pleasantly warm after the cool air they were just in. There are two long tapestries on either side of the fireplace, totaling four, each of them in different colors and with an animal displayed prominently in its center around a letter. To the left are some benches along the way, and some portraits of landscapes above them. To the right is a door, which is where McGonagall walks to as she waits for them to all come into the room.
Harry goes over in her direction after a brief glance around the room. “Hello, Professor,” he greets, a little shy. He’s never really been close to a teacher before, but while he doesn’t want his new classmates to think he’s a teacher’s pet, he rather likes the woman who helped ensure he could attend school.
“Mr. Potter.” She addresses him formally, but she gives him a small smile, which negates her stern tone and her previously stern demeanor. “I see you made it onto the train all right.”
Harry nods, and almost goes on to tell her about being moved into the smallest bedroom upstairs, but Hagrid closes the door then, signaling that all the students are inside. The big man makes his way around the students and out of the room through the door they are near, and Harry realizes this conversation will have to wait as the older witch clears her throat to draw the attention of all the students. Once all eyes are on her, she speaks.
“Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry,” she begins. “The term officially begins with a start-of-term banquet attended by the entire school, which you will be joining shortly over in the Great Hall. Before you can take your seats, however, you will be sorted into one of the four Hogwarts houses.” She gestures over towards the tapestries hanging on the wall by the fireplace.
The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each has its own noble history and has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are students here, your house will be like your family within Hogwarts. You will sleep in your house dormitory, study and spend free time in your house common room, and most, if not all, of your classes will be with the rest of your housemates. You will also work together with your house to earn points for your house. Your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule-breaking will lose your house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house Cup, a great honor. I hope each of you will be a credit to your house, whichever it may be.
“Now, the Sorting Ceremony will take place in front of the whole school, so I suggest you all smarten yourselves up while you wait.” She runs a critical eye over them, pausing here and there on specific students. “Now wait quietly while I check to see if they are ready yet.”
Without another word, she leaves through the same door Hagrid left, and voices erupt in her wake. Students asking each other what house they think they’ll join, and what the Sorting might entail.
“Harry.” He turns to see Draco just off to the side with a group that seems to already know each other, waving him over. Harry goes over to the group, which consists of two girls and three boys besides Draco, assuming that these are the friends he previously mentioned. Sure enough, once he’s reached them, Draco says, “These are the friends I mentioned earlier. Theodore Nott, Vincent Crabb, Gregory Goyle, Pansy Parkinson, and Millicent Bulstrode. Guys, this is Harry Potter.”
Others nearby hear the name and there’s a ripple effect through the room as it’s whispered back and forth. Harry tries to ignore it as he greets Draco’s friends. “Hi, nice to meet you.”
Theodore Nott replies in kind, but he’s the only one. Pansy Parkinson leans into Millicent, saying in a loud whisper, “ The Harry Potter, huh? Somehow not as impressive as the stories would have us believe.”
Harry feels his face grow warm while Draco scowls at her, but before either can respond, there’s a collection of gasps and a few screams. Looking around, they see what has startled some of the others, as a group of almost two dozen ghosts have come streaming through one wall. They’re just far enough that Harry can’t make out any conversations until a ghost in tights and ruff notices the students below them and asks what they’re all doing.
“New students!” The answer comes from the ghost the first had been speaking with, a pleasant looking, chubby man dressed in a long corded tunic robe of some sort. Harry isn’t sure what it’s called, but he’s certain the man is a friar of some sort. “I believe they’re waiting to be Sorted, yes?”
Various students nod. Harry looks over at Draco, and he hopes this isn’t a stupid question because it didn’t occur to him until now, but he wants to ask before McGonagall comes back. “How are they going to sort us?”
“Honestly? Don’t know,” Draco admits with a shrug. “Mother and Father wouldn’t say. It’s tradition to go in not knowing.”
“My brother Fred said it hurts.” They turn to see Ron Weasley, who’s clearly been eavesdropping.
“H-Hurts?” Neville Longbottom, using one hand to try to fix his robe which is fastened under one ear, stares at Ron wide-eyed. His grip on his toad goes slack and he almost loses it before Hermione Granger nudges him.
“I doubt it,” she responds once Nevile has regained hold on the toad. “It is a school, after all. They aren’t going to let us get hurt .”
“Okay, Miss Know-It-All, what do you think it is?” Ron grumbles at her, glaring. “Since you know more than me.”
She frowns at him. “I am just saying, it is highly unlikely that a school is going to purposely allow students to get hurt for, what, dorm assignments?” Neville next to her visibly relaxes, and there are a few murmurs of agreement. Ron’s face goes a little pink. “Now it doesn’t say in Hogwarts, A History what the Sorting entails, but I imagine it’s more likely a test of some sort.”
“Oh, ‘it doesn’t say in Hogwarts, A History ’,” he mocks, pitching his voice higher and causing a few kids to snicker. “That’s not even one of our textbooks. What kind of nerd does extra reading before school?”
Her darker skin doesn’t visibly change colors, but the way Hermione presses her lips together and crosses her arms reads to Harry clear as day as if she’s embarrassed. She doesn’t respond though, and Harry is annoyed with Ron Weasley all over again. He thinks of all the times he was bullied by Dudley in front of other students just before teachers came back, or in front of his aunt and uncle, leaving Harry unable to defend himself or talk back, and he decides he’s not putting up with it here. Even if the bullying isn’t directed at himself.
“Just because you can’t read doesn’t mean the rest of us can’t enjoy it.” Both Hermione and Ron look over at him in surprise, though Ron’s face turns a shade of red that almost matches his hair.
Then, to avoid getting caught in a confrontation on the first day by Professor McGonagall and because Neville was struggling one handed to fix his robe before he froze to watch the back and forth between Hermione and Ron, he goes over to him. “Want me to hold Trevor while you fix your robe?”
    “Oh, yes, please. Thank you.”
Neville hands the toad over and adjusts his robes, just in time for McGonagall to return. She calls for them to get in a line and follow her, turning to lead them out. Hermione hurries to do as she’s told, very clearly trying to put distance between herself and Ron Weasley. Neville takes his toad back with another muttered thank you, hurrying to get in line as well. Harry follows suit so that Neville is in front of him, with Draco at his rear. They’re led across the large Entrance Hall, so big that he’s certain the entirety of the Dursleys’ house could fit in there, and the ceiling so far above that he can’t make it out despite the many flaming torches lighting up the room. They pass massive double doors to their right and a grand marble staircase to the left, towards another set of double doors.
There’s the dull roar of hundreds of voices on the other side of those doors, which grows steadily louder as they approach, and Harry swallows nervously as his mouth suddenly goes dry. What if it is a test? He read through the books, but it’s not as if he could practice any of the spells, and he’s never been good at instantly memorizing stuff. He’s always been a hand on learner, needing to put whatever was being taught to him into practice to really grasp it. How embarrassing if he fails out of the school before he’s even started?
The doors are thrown open and the voices die down to a silence as all eyes turn to look at the line of students being led inside. They walk between the center two out of four long tables, that start a few feet from the entrance and down across the large room almost towards the other end, from what Harry can see. He tries to not make eye contact with the students on either side of him, so instead he draws his attention up to the floating candles and the night sky above, half listening as Hermione explains to Neville that she’d read it’s enchanted to look like the sky outside. He thinks maybe he read that, but isn’t sure, and is tempted to ask how many times she’d read her books or if, unlike him, she has the kind of memory that allows her to read something once and just remember it.
    “What is that ?”
Draco’s question makes Harry look down, and he sees that they’re approaching a platform that is shaped in a half circle. There’s a single step to get up onto the platform, and then there’s a stool set in the center, with a battered looking witches’ hat. Behind that is another two steps leading up onto a slightly higher platform where a table runs from Harry’s left to his right. There, a long line of adults are seated, and he realizes these must be the school’s teachers and staff. Before he can find Professor Snape to wave, he finds a pair of twinkling blue eyes staring at him, and he recognizes the face from his Chocolate Frog Cards. The headmaster is literally watching him.
Unintendedly, he stops in the spot as he’s overwhelmed with the most powerful feeling of mistrust he’s ever felt, and a voice seems to scream in his mind, Do not trust Albus Dumbledore!
Then Draco walks into him, not having noticed what he’d stopped, and they almost fall over. Harry quickly apologizes, face red, and hurries forward as McGonagall directs them all to line up between the professors’ table and the stool so they’re facing the rest of the school. Once they’re all lined up, they stand there for a moment, nothing happening until the hat suddenly begins to sing.
Harry’s eyes go wide and he is able to momentarily forget the headmaster behind him, astonished at this turn of events. Getting Sorted by a magic hat is better than anything else he’d imagined, and he’s immensely relieved. He claps along with everyone else when it finishes, and then listens as the first couple of names are called and students begin being sorted into the different houses. It isn’t until after each house has received one student that Harry remembers that he and Draco might not be in the same houses.
“Draco,” he whispers, turning to the other boy. Draco looks over at where McGonagall is standing, holding a long roll of parchment from which she is reading students’ names, and then back at Harry, a single eyebrow raised in question. “Remember, if we’re in different houses, we’ll still be friends, right?”
Draco blinks at him surprised. Hadn’t Harry asked him that right after they met, when they were first discussing the houses? Draco still isn’t convinced that it’s possible for them to stay friends, but he figures it won’t hurt for them to try at least. So he nods. “Sure, but don’t be mad when my house gets more points than yours.”
Harry just grins in response, looking back at the students being sorted in time to see Hermione Granger is still sitting on the stool. He wonders if it’s normal for it to take this longer before she finally gets sorted into Gryffindor. His parents’ house. It would be nice, he thinks for what must be the hundredth time, to be in the house they were in, and get to see some of the places they once spent time in. There probably weren’t any traces of them or anything, but it’d be one more thing he would have in common with them. Plus, he would already know his Head of House with Professor McGonagall, whom he already knew he could trust. The only other professor he felt that way about right now was Professor Snape. Granted, if he ended up in Snape’s house, Slytherin, that might not be so bad either. Draco was sure he’d be in that house, so at least he’d have a friend there.
Neville Longbottom also ends up in Gryffindor house after slightly longer with the hat than most other students, and he grins happily as he goes to join them. When it is Draco’s turn, the hat is set on his head and there is a few seconds of silence before he is, as he’d predicted, announced as the next Slytherin. Harry is happy for him, knowing that is the house Draco wanted, though it’s tinged with a bit of disappointment that he wasn’t last minute put in Gryffindor, like he himself hopes to be. Then he waits for his own turn to come. He tries to ignore the irrational fear that he won’t be Sorted at all, thinking it is just his nerves, but it isn’t easy. He still thinks it’s been too many good things after another, so surely the other shoe will drop soon.
When Professor McGonagall finally calls, “Harry Potter,” the room is overtaken by a deafening silence. He’s actually tempted to stick a finger in his ear to see if something is suddenly blocking all sound, because it’s such a drastic change. Instead, he takes a few slow steps forward, hoping he doesn’t do something embarrassing like fall flat on his face as he’s acutely aware of every eye in the room being directed in his direction.
He’s actually a little relieved to finally reach the stool and have the hat placed on his head, as it falls down and covers his eyes so he can no longer see all those faces staring at him.
Well, well, what do we have here? Harry startles, although after the singing, he’s not sure why the hat speaking comes as a surprise. Strange…
Suddenly, Harry’s certain the hat is going to tell him he doesn’t belong, and he feels his heart drop. Great , he thinks. I really don’t belong here.
Oh, but you do , the hat contradicts, surprising Harry again because of course it can read his mind. Plenty of talent here, good head on your shoulders, and quite a bit of courage, with such a thirst to prove yourself. Yes, no question, you belong here.
Then what is strange? Harry asks, curious now that the hat has assuaged his fears.
The hat is quiet for a moment, as if it’s searching or perhaps deciding how to explain. Then, it says, There is magic here unlike any I have seen in all my time, and I’m quite old. Yes, strange, varying magics are at work in you. How very intriguing you are, Mr. Potter. Harry wants to ask more, try to understand what the hat is telling him, but the hat moves on, asking, So where shall I put you?
Harry frowns in response, wondering that question himself. He has no real feelings towards being put in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. Based on the hat’s song, he thinks he’s loyal enough for the former and maybe not smart enough for the latter, but he’s indifferent to either. He hasn’t met anyone interested in either, or made friends among those already sorted into it yet, so it’s hard to muster any enthusiasm besides it meaning he will remain at Hogwarts so long as he’s sorted somewhere . Gryffindor, though, has most of the few people he’s met and liked thus far, besides his emotional connection to it. But Draco is now in Slytherin.
So Gryffindor or Slytherin, eh? Any of the Hogwarts houses could help you on your way to greatness, I’m sure, but these two especially.
Then where are you putting me?
I’m rather partial to Slytherin for you, but where would you like to be ? The hat counters.
If those watching could see his face, they’d see Harry blinking in confusion and surprise. Instead, he blinks at the inside of the hat, not having expected the question. I’m not sure. I mean, Gryffindor, I think? It’s just, I’ve a friend in Slytherin. He said those houses are rivals.
Hm . The hat is quiet for only a moment, before it says, Their founders Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin were rivals and friends, you know. For a very long time.
Oh . If the founders themselves could be both rivals and friends, surely Harry and Draco could manage that too, right? Gryffindor then .
You’re certain? Won’t have any regrets? Then off you go, to “GRYFFINDOR!”
Professor McGonagall removes the hat, and Harry blinks at the brightness of the room as he stands. The table on the far left has erupted into cheers, with many of them standing and clapping, and the Weasley twins chanting, “We got Potter!” repeatedly.
Harry makes his way over, noticing as he does that the rest of the hall is staring at him still as the next student is called to be Sorted. His face warms, and he wonders if he’ll ever get used to the attention as a boy with a badge comes over to shake his hand. His red hair is such a distinctive, familiar shade that he’s not at all surprised to learn this is another Weasley, and in fact the one he’d heard speaking with the woman at the station.
“Harry Potter! Welcome to Gryffindor. I’m Percy Weasley, one of the Gryffindor prefects. Such a pleasure to have you join our house!”
“We got Potter! We got Potter!”
Percy lets out a long suffering sigh before he turns and hisses at the twins, “Stop it! Do you want us to be the first to lose house points?” He shakes his head, then motions for Harry to follow him back to where he’d been sitting.
Harry sits to Percy’s right, returning Neville’s shy smile and wave with a nod. Hermione is sitting on Percy’s other side, shaking her head at the twins who were still chanting a few seats further down, although they’d brought their volume down. Presumably to avoid notice from the teachers.
“I wish people would stop staring,” Harry mutters, noting as he takes a seat that people are still looking over in his direction.
Neville, sitting across from him, replies, “Well, y-you’re Harry Potter . You’re famous, you know.”
“Well, that, and you’re the first hatstall in years,” Percy adds, taking a seat to Harry’s left.
    “A what?”
“Hatstall. It’s what it’s called when the hat takes a while to place you.” Percy motions towards the hat where someone is almost instantly sorted into Ravenclaw. “Most people only take a minute or two. You three,” he motions to Harry, Neville, and Hermione, “took longer than most, but it’s only a hatstall if it’s more than five minutes.”
“Was it really that long?” Harry asks, surprised.
“It doesn’t feel that long in the moment,” Hermione muses. Neville nods his head in agreement.
They watch the rest of the students get sorted, cheering whenever another Gryffindor is added to their ranks. If Harry’s cheering is a little less enthusiastic when the youngest Weasley also becomes a Gryffindor, he doubts anyone notices over the brothers’ loud cheers. Percy gets up again specifically to congratulate him and then comes back, his brother in tow. Harry, seeing that the free seats are on either side of where he currently is, moves to his left to take the one Percy had previously been occupying. Hopefully, the older boy won’t think anything of it except that Harry is trying to be considerate, and not hoping to avoid sitting next to his younger brother.
Luck is with him in that although he doesn’t know what Percy thinks about the switch, not only does he not bring it up, but he takes Harry’s previous seat, leaving Ron to take the second one on his other side, so at least they’re separated. It has the added bonus, Harry thinks, to put him farther away from Hermione, who Harry thinks likely doesn’t want to risk another confrontation over dinner.
The room quieted as the old headmaster stood up to welcome them all, saying a few gibberish words and sitting back down to applause and cheers. Harry doesn’t pretend to join in this time, frowning at the old headmaster. He doesn’t see Draco across the hall giving him the same raised eyebrow he had on the train, curiosity piqued.
In any case, soon his and all the other students’ attention is drawn down to the tables as the golden place settings magically fill with food. He’s astonished, having never seen so much food in one place in all his life. Best of all, for only the second time in his life, he could eat to his heart’s content and no one would stop him or take the best for themselves, as his cousin often had. He filled his food with some of nearly everything on offer, and Harry is sure after a few bites that he has never had anything so good before.
While they eat, talk revolves around questions from younger students to the older regarding classes or when the first Quidditch match will take place. Some discuss how happy or surprised their parents will be about their Sorting, which draws attention to the three seated near each out who had taken the longest to be Sorted.
“What took the Sorting Hat so long to place you?” Ron asked, leaning around Percy to address Harry.
He shrugs but Neville responds with another question himself. “Was the hat trying to convince you too? Thought I’d end up in Hufflepuff, but it insisted. Gran will be really happy about it.”
“It was between here and Ravenclaw for me,” Hermione informs them, though she doesn’t look over in Ron’s direction as she answers.
“What about you, Harry?” Neville asks.
    “Slytherin.”
Percy looks at him in surprise. “ Slytherin ? That, uh, well a bit of a surprise, really.”
    “How come?” Harry asks.
“ You-Know-Who was a Slytherin, s’why,” Ron offers, mouth full of food. “So were a bunch of his followers.” Ron looks directly at Harry. “Including Malfoy’s dad.”
“He was found to be innocent and under the Imperius Curse,” Percy reminds his brother.
Ron gives him an incredulous look. “ Dad thinks that’s a lie.”
“Yes, well, the Ministry doesn’t,” Percy rebutts, mouth a thin line of disapproval. “So you would do well not to spread rumors about the Malfoys."
Harry puts away this bit of information, but refuses to give Ron the satisfaction of a reaction. Instead, he pointedly ignores him, turning back to his food. He’ll think about what he’s just learned and decide what, if any of it, to bring up with Draco later.
Talk then turns to their families. Neville tells them all to laughter about his uncle trying to get him to do magic, although Hermione gasps when he tells them he was dropped out of a window. Seamus Finnegan takes over then, causing more laughter when he explains the shock his father received the first time his son performed accidental magic, as it led to finding out his wife had secretly been a witch the whole time. Many others have parents who are both witches and wizards, so they’d expected coming to Hogwarts, while others had been caught completely off-guard like Hermione, whose parents were both Muggle. Harry admits he was raised with Muggles himself, and therefore hadn’t a clue about being a wizard, much less famous, prior to receiving his Hogwarts letters.
Many are surprised by this new and Harry, realizing he doesn’t want to answer any additional questions about his Muggle relatives or the parents he doesn’t remember, turns to Percy and asks about what they might expect from their first day. Percy is more than happy to tell them all about the things they’ll learn first year, his enthusiasm matched only by Hermione, so that Harry is drawn into talk of classes and schoolwork. It effectively makes everyone else lose interest in being a part of Harry’s conversation for the moment, and although he’s not nearly as keen on what Percy is telling them as Hermione clearly is, he nevertheless finds himself looking forward to getting to learn real magic for himself.
It is while Percy is telling them about starting off small in Transfiguration with their Head of House, Professor McGonagall, that Harry happens to glance over towards the High Table. At some point, the stool and the Sorting Hat were removed. On the closest end is Hagrid, drinking from a goblet, with Professor McGonagall and Professor Dumbledore speaking to each other somewhere around the middle. Further down he sees Professor Snape, speaking with a man wearing a purple turban, whose back is currently to Harry. He wonders if it might be the same turbaned gentleman from Diagon Alley he’d seen Snape speaking to, but he isn’t sure just how common turbans are in the wizarding world to say how likely that might be.
Just then, Snape looks over and catches his eye. He nods his head towards Harry, who lifts a hand to wave when there’s a sudden pain in his forehead.
“Ouch!” He presses his hand against his forehead, surprised.
“Are you all right?” Percy asks while Hermione tilts her head to peer at Harry’s face.
“Oh, uh, yes. Yes, I’m fine,” Harry assures them, the pain in his scar already fading.
“Is it your scar? Does it often hurt?” Hermione’s gaze is curious as it runs over his forehead.
“No, actually. Never,” Harry admits. Which is true. It’s never once, in all his life, bothered him. “Say Percy, who is that speaking with Professor Snape?”
“You know Snape, do you? Let’s see.” Percy runs his gaze along the High Table until he spots the purple turban, just as the man turns allowing them to better see his face. “Ah, that man would be the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Quirrell.”
The desserts disappear from the table then, and the room quiets as Professor Dumbledore stands up. He addresses the room to inform them of a few start-of-term notices, of which were included the information that the forests on the ground as well as the right side of the third floor corridor were forbidden to students, the latter coming with the warning of a gruesome death for any who did not heed the warning. Percy mutters about this being news to him, noting that the prefects should have been informed, just as the headmaster has them all sing the school song to whatever tune pleases them.
At no point does the man ever directly look at him, as far as Harry can tell, but somehow, he’s sure that the man is still watching him. It’s an unnerving feeling, and he’s glad when the Weasley twins finally finish their funeral dirge version of the school song and they’re dismissed to go to their houses.
Already, Harry has so much to think about, and classes haven’t even started yet. He thinks he’ll definitely need to get some sleep if he’s to be prepared for what tomorrow will bring.

Chapter title is a Jordan Sparks song.

A Familiar Face ✨🏰
Harry Potter au with Eric Nam?!?!? 😉
YAAAAAS,  @trishmarieco! YAS! Thank you!!!! This isn’t Halloween-themed at all, but I got an idea in my head, and I just went for it!
Genre: Harry Potter!AU
Pairing: Eric Nam x You (Female!Reader)
Warnings: None
Part 1, 2, 3, 4 | Words: 3,912
Tumblr media
Oh, no.
Almost immediately upon setting foot in the staffroom at Hogwarts, you saw him. And you froze.
What was he doing here?
I mean, presumably, he was sitting in the staffroom talking to Professor Longbottom because he, himself, was a professor. Why else would he be here?
But... really?
Eric Nam, the most popular Gryffindor of your year, a professor? At Hogwarts? Not some high-falutin’ Auror or a well-known broadcaster for the Wizarding Wireless Network or... well, something with a bit more status than a mere teacher?
And then you heard quite the impatient ahem behind you before a voice next to your shoulder made you jump: “Isn’t it a bit early for pranks, Ms. Y/L/N?”
Your heart skipped a beat as you turned, your wide eyes landing on Headmistress McGonagall. “P--pardon, Headmistress?” you stammered.
“No students have even arrived and yet someone seems to have transfigured your feet into blocks of concrete,” she said in that tone of hers. You know the tone. The tone which made you wonder if she was annoyed or amused. ...Or both.
Probably both.
“I...” you began, but you were still quite in shock from not only seeing Eric Nam in the staffroom but by your boss’s accusation regarding your feet.
“What I’m trying to tell you, in not so many words, is to get moving, Y/L/N,” McGonagall added with something which could have been a chuckle but which also could have been another impatient ahem.
Without another word, you scrambled inside the staffroom, allowing the headmistress to pass by you so she could begin the annual beginning-of-year meeting, the reason why all of the current professors were here in the first place.
She took her spot at the head of the table so everyone could see her; you, on the other hand, slunk to the farthest corner, trying to keep out of Eric’s sight so he had no chance to recognize you.
...Who were you kidding, though? He wouldn’t recognize you even if he did see you.
As previously mentioned, he had been the most popular Gryffindor of your year. One of the most popular Gryffindors since Professor Longbottom -- since Harry Potter himself, even! Everyone had known him because he... well, he was Eric! He was nice and friendly and outgoing and funny and smart and fearless, and there was just something about him which made him popular.
And you? You had been a stereotypical Ravenclaw. A glasses-wearing, nose-in-book, people-fearing nerd.
You’d had two friends, maximum -- not including your professors, of course. Your professors had always loved you, and that was a huge reason why you’d wanted to come back here as a professor yourself. But as far as friends your own age? Two.
You’d been shy and quiet and scared, and probably the first time most of your classmates had even heard your name was when you were recognized at the end of your seventh year for academic excellence. You had taken ten N.E.W.T. classes and had received an Outstanding mark on all ten of your exams, so Headmistress McGonagall had seen fit to award you with a Medal of Magical Merit. (And when you had come to her with an interest in filling the History of Magic professorship left by Professor Binns several years later, she had hired you almost instantly - but that’s neither here nor there.)
So, really, you and Eric had been about as opposite as opposite could be. In fact, he hadn’t even spoken three words to you during your entire seven years at Hogwarts.
He hadn’t spoken three because he had spoken exactly two: Excuse me.
You had been standing in his way once in the hallway during your fifth year, and he had murmured those two words in your ear as he’d weaved through the crowd.
And just how did you remember this, you ask? It’s not like the two words had been something as memorable as You’re beautiful or Date me or Be mine...
Okay, fine! You remembered the exact two words he’d said to you -- and the exact time and place -- because you’d spent all seven years with a major crush on him. As cliche as it may be, you had been charmed by his good looks and his warm personality and his penchant for taking risks.
And his good looks.
Tumblr media
And, as you took your seat as far away from his as you possibly could... you were able to deduce those good looks had not faded. They’d done the opposite, actually.
His shoulders were a bit broader. His jawline was a bit sharper. His hair, rather than being shaggy and constantly in his eyes as it had been during his teenage years, was now combed back neatly from his forehead.
In other words, the years since graduation had been nothing but kind to him. Of course. Why would you expect anything else? Eric was just that kind of guy. If anything the least bit unfortunate had ever happened to him, you’d never heard about it.
“...Ms. Y/L/N, returning to History of Magic for her third year,” McGonagall announced, her voice bursting through your daydreams. You jumped a little, eyebrows raised as your fellow professors clapped politely for you.
A very tiny smile quirked at your lips, but you didn’t even have time to sneak a glance at Eric before McGonagall moved on.
“And, finally, we are lucky enough to welcome back another former student this year. Mr, Nam will be taking over Defense Against the Dark Arts. I have assured him the position is no longer cursed, as its last occupant was here for eight years, but let us wish him luck anyway.”
The staffroom filled with more polite applause and Eric lifted a hand in greeting, looking around at as many fellow teachers as he could with a friendly smile on his lips.
He made eye contact with you for a brief moment, and your heart leaped up into your throat. Before he had a chance to look away, you forced yourself to smile at him.
And, much to your surprise, he smiled back.
You had no reason to be surprised because he was an incredibly polite and friendly person. Of course, he would smile back at you.
But it was the first time you’d ever received a smile from the biggest crush you’d ever had in your entire life, so it was just a little bit exciting.
But also pathetic.
You were no longer a teenager; you hadn’t been for quite a few years. You hadn’t even seen Eric since you’d left Hogwarts as a student. By all intents and purposes, you should be over him.
But your reaction to seeing him here in the staffroom and to seeing him smile at you?
You were definitely not over him.
Tumblr media
“I trust we will have a wonderful year,” Headmistress McGonagall announced at the end of the meeting. “We will, yes. I know you all will have a wonderful year. It’s the students we must worry about.”
A low rumble of chuckles filled the room, and when McGonagall nodded her head to dismiss everyone, the vast majority of the professors stood and headed toward the door to finish getting ready for the feast later that evening.
You stood, too, but you didn’t move from your spot in the corner. You found you couldn’t make your legs move even one inch because Eric was walking over to you. And you knew he was walking over to you because the other professors around you had left already, and... he was looking right at you.
Oh, god.
You were not prepared for this.
Eric Nam was about to say his third word to you -- and, most likely, his fifth, sixth, seventh, and who knew how many more -- and you had no idea what they were going to be or what you were going to say back to him or what --
“I thought I recognized you when you walked in,” he began when he reached you, his lips curved into a lopsided grin. “And then McGonagall said your name. We were in the same year, right?”
You nodded. “Yes,” you replied breathlessly. To be honest, you were surprised you even managed that.
“You won the Medal of Magical Merit,” he continued, nodding and looking rather pleased with himself for remembering. “Was it nine N.E.W.T.S.?”
“Ten,” you told him with a somewhat panicked smile.
“Ten! And didn’t you get Outstanding on all your exams?”
Again, you nodded, though you couldn’t quite get any words past your lips at the moment. The fact that he remembered all of this was too overwhelming. In the best way possible.
The lopsided grin on Eric’s lips transformed into a full-blown smile, one which pierced right through your heart. “Wow,” he chuckled. “No wonder McGonagall snatched you up to teach here.”
A soft, somewhat strangled chuckle escaped your lips, and you shifted a bit awkwardly. “I wanted to, actually. But, you’re right, she didn’t hesitate in hiring me.”
He slid his hands into his pockets then, turning and making it clear he was about to leave. You jolted into action, taking a step toward the door and trying to control your breathing as he walked beside you.
“It’ll be nice to have a familiar face here,” he said as you dodged one of the armchairs on the way to the door.
A... familiar face? Really?
“To be honest,” you began, your voice a bit shaky. “I’m surprised you even remember me.”
You glanced over at him, and you saw his brow had furrowed slightly with confusion.
“Really?” he asked, and now your brow furrowed slightly with confusion.
“Well... yeah,” you chuckled. “I don’t think we ever even spoke when we were here. As students, I mean.”
You decided not to mention the two words -- the only two words -- he had said to you during those seven years.
“Ah,” he murmured, his tone filled almost to the brim with guilt. “I mean, yeah -- I didn’t --”
Rather than hear whatever his excuse would be for not ever noticing you in school, you decided... it was all water under the bridge now, right? Teenagers were a whole different species, and the two of you were adults. If he wanted to make your acquaintance now, did it really matter that he hadn’t back then?
No. It really didn’t.
“It’s okay,” you interrupted with a soft laugh. “No one really noticed me. I was even more shy and quiet back then than I am now. I literally had, like, two friends who weren’t teachers.”
“It’s not like I didn’t notice you,” Eric corrected as he held out an arm to usher you through the staffroom door. “I did notice you.”
And, unsurprisingly, your heart skipped a beat.
“I just... noticed that you were shy and quiet,” he admitted with a guilty chuckle. “Plus, we were in different houses, so... -- we were in different houses, right?”
“Yes,” you laughed, nodding. “I was in Ravenclaw, not Gryffindor.”
“Ah, so you know which house I was in,” he replied a bit teasingly.
“Of course,” you said as you felt your cheeks warming. “You were the most popular student in our year. Everyone knew who you were back then.”
“Okay, not every --”
“Everyone,” you confirmed. “I was invisible, so if I knew who you were, then everyone knew.”
“Well,” Eric said with what sounded awfully like a bashful chuckle. “Now it’s the opposite. I’m the new guy, and literally, all of the students and teachers know you.”
“This is true,” you replied. It’s funny that you hadn’t thought of it that way before.
“So... maybe you could kinda... take me under your wing? Be my mentor?”
Truly, you almost stopped walking. You almost froze right there on the spot, just as you had when you’d first seen him sitting in the staffroom next to Professor Longbottom.
But, somehow, you managed to keep your composure.
“Really?” you asked, your eyebrows halfway up your forehead in astonishment.
“If you want to,” he answered quickly. “If you don’t, I totally understand. I haven’t even taught a single class, and already I can see how much work it’s going to be. If you won’t have time, it’s really fine --”
Oh my god. He was rambling, and it was one of the most adorable things ever. He was rambling much like you would have rambled if you’d ever had a conversation with him back when you were any age from eleven to seventeen.
Obviously, you didn’t think his rambling meant he had a crush on you, but still. It was... oddly satisfying to hear the most popular student of your year rambling as he talked to you.
“No, I would love to,” you assured him. “I was just surprised. But, yes, I will gladly show you the ropes. And... the first thing you should know.”
“I’m listening,” Eric replied curiously.
“The Potter kids and the Weasley kids.”
“Ooh.”
“Don’t mention anything about... the Potter and Weasley things. They don’t like to be the center of attention that much. At least, not because of who their parents are,” you explained.
“Got it,” Eric nodded. “Any other students I should watch out for?”
“Oh, you’ll learn who soon enough,” you chuckled.
“Come on!” Eric laughed. “I thought you said you were going to help me!”
“I am! But it’ll be way more fun to let you figure that particular part out on your own.”
“And here I was thinking you were nice,” he teased.
Truly, you couldn’t believe this was happening.
Eric Nam. Most popular student in your year. The one you’d had a crush on all throughout school. (The one you have a crush on now.)
Eric Nam was teasing you. He was laughing and smiling and asking you to help him and basically wanting to be your friend.
Tumblr media
The welcoming feast that evening went as well as can be expected: there were no mishaps or pranks, no loose trolls, no basilisks... Even though you had come here long after all of the terrifying events of Harry Potter’s time, you still liked to measure the success of a Hogwarts event by the absence of a lethal creature.
Quite a few of the first-years had gotten sorted into Ravenclaw, which still made you happy despite the fact you were not the Head of House. And, of course, the food was delicious.
But one thing which stood out to you was the fact that Eric sat next to you at the professor’s table at the front of the Great Hall. He smiled at you, talked to you, laughed with you. He even expressed his relief after Headmistress McGonagall introduced him and made him stand up, saying all those adolescent eyes on him made him incredibly nervous.
“They’re not so scary once you get to know them,” you whispered, resisting the urge to reach over and pat his arm reassuringly. You felt more comfortable in his presence, yes, but not that comfortable.
“Yes, but you’re used to Ravenclaws,” he reminded you with raised eyebrows. “Gryffindors...”
“...Oh, yes. You’re quite right about that. Well, I can’t help you there,” you sighed, trying your best to keep a smile from forming on your lips. “You’re on your own.”
“Gee, thanks.”
“You’re welcome!”
If you could go back in time right now and tell your seventeen-year-old self that, one day, you would be sitting next to Eric Nam and conversing playfully with him... Well, obviously, you wouldn’t believe yourself.
When McGonagall dismissed everyone after dessert, both you and Eric stood and began to make your way to the side door as all of the students headed out through the front of the Great Hall.
“Are you ready for tomorrow?” Eric asked as you filed out with the rest of the professors.
“I guess,” you sighed. “As ready as you can be.”
“So, it gets easier, then?” he asked with a nervous twinge in his voice.
“What, the first day of classes?”
Eric nodded, and a smile quirked at the corner of your lips.
“Easier, yes,” you assured him. “But it’s never easy. You’re a Gryffindor, though, so that shouldn’t scare you.”
“No, of course, not,” he chuckled.
You began to walk toward the part of the castle which housed all the teachers’ rooms, the two of you falling into a companionable silence for a few minutes. But then your curiosity got the better of you.
“Can I... ask you a question?” you inquired, your brow knitting together gently.
“Ask away,” Eric replied.
“Why did you become a teacher?” And when he didn’t answer right away, you continued. “I mean -- you were so popular, I figured you would become something... I don’t know, like a broadcaster for WWN. A politician, maybe even run for Minister of Magic. You were as popular and well-liked as Harry Potter -- okay, almost. But, still. You know what I mean.”
“I know what you mean,” he said softly, nodding. “But... the thing is... Harry Potter wasn’t popular because he was well-liked. He was popular because he overcame all these crazy challenges. And because he was a cracking good wizard. I was popular because I was nice.”
And good-looking, you thought to yourself.
“But being nice doesn’t get you as far as you think. When it came down to it, I was just an average wizard. I am an average wizard.”
“I highly doubt that’s true,” you declared, shaking your head. “McGonagall wouldn’t’ve have hired you for Defense Against the Dark Arts if you were just an average wizard.”
“Okay, maybe I’m slightly above average,” he relented. “But the truth of the matter is, I wasn’t popular for a specific, special reason. When I left Hogwarts, I realized that people knowing your name doesn’t get you too far unless it’s because you’ve actually done something. I tried to get a job in the Ministry, but there just wasn’t anything I was particularly good at. I always liked learning about Defense Against the Dark Arts, so I wrote to McGonagall on the off-chance she needed a new professor, and... here I am.”
It shouldn’t have, but it actually made you feel better that someone as popular as Eric Nam had discovered that... popularity wasn’t everything. It didn’t automatically make your life better or easier. In the back of your head, you had always wanted to be more popular, but your shyness had won out -- obviously. And now you were glad of it.
“I should actually be asking you the same question,” Eric said, interrupting your thoughts. “Why are you here when you could have any career of your choice? Ten Outstanding N.E.W.T.S.!”
A flush warmed your cheeks, and you did your best to hide a bashful smile. “I’m here because this is my career of choice,” you answered. “I loved school, and I loved learning. I couldn’t think of anything else I wanted to do besides helping kids who love learning, too. And even those who don’t.”
“Which, I assume, there are a lot of,” Eric said with a smirk.
“Absolutely,” you chuckled.
“I have to say, that’s really admirable,” Eric told you as the two of you shuffled along down the corridor. The teacher’s wing was not far off, now, so you would have to say goodnight pretty soon.
And you realized that you really didn’t want to. You wanted to keep talking to him... for hours.
“Is it?” you murmured shyly.
“To have the potential for any career, to be able to have so much power and status, and you choose to help the younger witches and wizards of our community. I --”
He cut himself off, and you forced yourself to wait ten whole seconds before speaking.
“You... what?” you asked.
Eric slowed, eventually stepping to the side of the corridor and coming to a stop. You followed him, of course, your heart pounding with anticipation.
He took a breath, his brow furrowing before he looked up and made eye contact with you. “I’m just starting to realize how sorry I am that I never got to know you back then.”
“What?” you replied without hesitation, laughing softly. “Why would you be sorry?”
“If I had known how cool you were, we could’ve ruled the school together,” he said as his lips curved into a grin.
“Oh, I did not want to rule the school,” you chuckled. “And what do you mean ‘cool’?! I’m the furthest thing from cool, I can assure you.”
Eric simply studied you for a few moments before shaking his head quickly.
“You’re wrong,” he said. “Trust me, I know.”
You were about to refute him yet again, but... you decided not to. If Eric Nam wanted to say you were cool, then why should you disagree? It was a good thing! He was seeing you in a positive light -- he was seeing you. Period. That had been all you’d ever wanted all those years ago, and now... it was finally coming true.
“Well,” you said a bit breathlessly. “There’s nothing we can do about the past now. We only have control over the present and the future.”
“Very true,” Eric nodded. “So... will you let me make it up to you?”
“Make it up -- what do you mean?”
“We’re back at Hogwarts again,” he shrugged. “I was a jerk the first time we were here together, so I want to make up for it.”
“You weren’t a jerk!” you assured him with a grin. And if you were a bolder person, you would have playfully swatted at his arm.
“Okay, maybe not a jerk,” he admitted. “I was just... blind. An idiot.”
“Oh, stop,” you chuckled, shaking your head.
“Anyway,” he interjected. “Whether or not you let me, I’m going to make up for it. I’m going to be your friend.”
You lifted your hands up in mock surrender, doing everything in your power to keep from smiling like a complete goofball.
“All right,” you told him. “I won’t get in your way if you’re that intent on it.”
Eric leaned in just a hair, one corner of his lips lifting into the slightest hint of a smirk. “I am that intent on it.”
And now, of course, your heart was racing so quickly you were surprised it hadn’t burst right through your ribcage.
But then it got better.
Or worse, depending on how you looked at it.
‘Better’ because Eric’s next words made the future very promising, indeed. ‘Worse’ because you weren’t sure if you were going to be able to breathe properly for the rest of the night.
“...Were you always this pretty?” he asked quietly, his forehead wrinkling in thought.
Somehow -- you weren’t sure how, and you would never be sure how, but --somehow, you were able to keep up your playfully teasing tone, and you rolled your eyes at him. “Oh, please,” you scoffed. “Come on, let’s go. We need our rest if we’re going to make it through the first day of classes tomorrow.”
“What? I’m serious!” he retorted, though he still followed you when you moved toward the teacher’s wing just ahead.
You simply shook your head, chuckling softly to yourself and severely hoping Eric wasn’t able to hear just how quickly your heart was racing.
If tonight was any indication... this school year was going to be interesting.
Very interesting, indeed.

that song is great btw you should listen to it
anyway
always makes really dark jokes and everyone is like “are you ok?”
except for his friends they just laugh
“lmao wouldn’t it be funny if everyone like...died”

Congrats on 2.5k!! You're an amazing artist, and have no idea on how many times I've read your fics 😂 even tho I'm kinda shy to comment... sorry, I'll try to work on that 😅 Can I get a 🔥 for Narnia, Newsies and Harry Potter Next-Generation?
I'm a straight girl, INFP, Hufflepuff, Daughter of Athena (in Percy Jackson universe 😂). I really like to read, and watch movies or TV series, theater or... anything that tells a story, I really don't care about the media as long as they have a good story to tell. I also really like writing, I really write a lot about what I think, or some poems, or even have tried writing songs, but I have no music knowledge so... lol. I really love music, I've loved music since I can remember, and I'm currently trying to learn how to play guitar.
To me, the most important thing that I have are my friends, I appreciate them more that anything in this life and would give my life for them. But I'm not an affectionate person, it's kind of rare when I'm openly about how much I love them, and only with real close friends I tell them a little more often how much they mean to me, and I'm not really into physical touch either, just with really close people.
I love long talks where I can talk about... anything. I have so many thoughts about so many things, and I'd really like to share them with someone, and that person to tell me what they think too. I'm open minded, and if someone doesn't agree with me it's ok, but I really like to debate and be able to see everyone's point of view.
I don't tend to say when I'm feeling down, and I'm kind of good at hiding it, (I hide my feelings with humor lol) so... I have to be really sad to let people know about it (and just really close ones). I don't feel comfortable letting other people know when I'm not feeling well, and even if they know it's still rare that they could help me so... I just feel with it on my own (even tho it would be nice to have someone there sometimes). On the contrary, I'm always there to help everyone. Most my friends come to me for advice and I help them the best I can. So... I'm kind of the therapist friend that no one check how is doing lol
You could say I'm kind of a geek? Nerd? Whatever xD but I like to have fun (like... it's easier to get out of trouble when you're one of the "good kids" in class 👀 I still follow most of the rules tho, just know how to have my ways sometimes). I'm kind of the stereotype for Ravenclaw, but I'm a Hufflepuff xD so yeah... I really like music, and musical theater, and lots of reading. Love to spend time with my friends, but really enjoy time with myself. I spend most of my day daydreaming, and don't like to follow rules lol (But I'm the voice of reason with my friends. I don't like rules, but follow them... if it's necessary) . I hate people who are selfish, or that don't care about others. Also hate people who manipulate others or that get into "friendships" just to get something out of it (those are fake friends so).
So... yeah, that's it. I'm sorry if it's a lot, and no problem if you can't do it 😅 (also, I would love some rivals-to-lovers? If it's possible). Really love your work 💕
Pd. Sorry for my bad English 😅
HP Next Gen:
I ship you with James Sirius Potter!
so first of all, james sirius is one of those dorky jocks who is made up of lame jokes, poorly timed finger-guns, an inexplicable talent in school (despite rarely studying), and persuasion skills that somehow work on even the strictest of teachers.
it is from this that the rivalry between you is born. james sirius potter doesn’t have to do anything! he can run a hand through his god awful hair, give a teacher a grin, and his entire year is set. he can skip lessons for quidditch, where you get extra work when you were sick with dragon pox! it’s not fair that james sirius potter gets to waltz through this school like he’s all that, and the rest of you have to suffer.
at first, the rivalry wasn’t that bad, you just rolled your eyes in class whenever his obnoxious “thanks, professor” was heard over the din, or whenever you went to quidditch matches and he showed off on his broom, instead of doing his job as seeker (at which he was pretty good, not that you’d admit it).
BUT THEN,,,,, you become herbology partners, and things get bad. fast.
you get that harry potter is friends with neville but really? neville, head of gryffindor house, the most just of gryffindors, is letting james sirius potter leave class 20 minutes early because he has quidditch practice? practice that, mind you, doesn’t start until AFTER class has ended? your professor leaves you to do the work of two people all on your own because james sirius potter said it was cool that neville cut the head off of nagini? come on! everyone says that!
so you end up having to do extra work, which leaves less time for your other classes, and you have to do it in herbology - a class that has the potential to be deadly when difficult.
it’s not a week until you march up to gryffindor tower (which is a pain on the legs, especially since your common room is in the basement) and wait for james sirius to show his sorry face. he doesn’t come down until lunch time, and then you have to follow him down to the great hall, because he “didn’t have breakfast” and he needs to eat “for quidditch.” it’s annoying, and yet he’s smiling the whole time?
you tell him he can’t leave class early - you almost had your finger bitten off the other day because no one else was there to hold down the plant while you tried to pick off it’s petals.
he says he can’t, but he’ll do your essays or whatever. “that’s plagiarism, you realize that?” “alright, then i’ll give you my notes.” “you don’t take notes.” “then i’ll start.”
and this is clearly going nowhere, so you sigh and leave.
it’s probably not even two weeks later when you are going to neville. he’s the head of gryffindor house and the one who made this arrangement. can’t he do something? the professor tells you that he chose you to team up with james sirius because he knows you can handle it on your own - and then he gave you some lame excuse about why james sirius needed the extra time, something about him about to be promoted to team captain at the end of the year or whatever.
and next class, for the little time that james sirius is working with you, he teases you about how you went to the professor. it annoys you to no end.
about a week later, you come down with a cold - madam pomfrey says a lot of it is due to stress, and while she gives you a potion to help you out, your still sick for two days. the day you get better, it’s the weekend and you get up early with the plan to get to the teachers before the quidditch game starts and ask beg them for less homework, or at the very least pick up what you missed. it’s early - almost everyone is still asleep, and when you walk out of the common room, you see..... james sirius potter? he asks if you’re alright - he heard you were sick for a couple days. you’re a little too tired for this, so you just answer his questions, no complaining. he then hands you a stack of parchment. “what is this?” “notes, for the classes you missed.” “oh.” “and i know how you feel about the rules, so i didn’t actually write you a herbology essay, but i did give you a good outline.” “oh.... thanks.” “’course.” and he gives you one of his awkward smiles and a solitary finger gun. you roll your eyes, but wish him luck in the game. he’s a little shocked, but you say it’s against ravenclaw, and their egos need to be taken down a peg.
and from there you are a little softer toward james sirius, but he’s still annoying as hell.
i have a very vivid idea of you having gone to a quidditch game, and gryffindor, of course, won. you decide to wait in the stands until everyone clears out, because it’s easier that way, and you want to finish your popcorn, anyway. james sirius has lingered on the pitch with the current quidditch captain, and when he sees that you’re one of the few still lingering, he goes up to meet you. he sits down next to you and steals a bit of you popcorn, which makes you roll your eyes, and he says something like “i didn’t expect you to wait for me.” “i wasn’t.” “sure.” and the two of you sit there for a moment, james coming down from the high of winning, sharing the remnants of your popcorn. it starts to drizzle and james uses his wand to make an umbrella, and the two of you start up a conversation about whatever - definitely not school related, and not even quidditch related, just something out of the blue. it’s not until all of the popcorn is gone and it’s raining in earnest that the two of you walk to the castle, james laughing at his own jokes and you smiling despite yourself.
i also imagine that, when the two of you become better friends, james sirius has a quidditch accident where he maybe breaks his arm or something. you get to go into mom mode, and james sirius teases you, saying that he “didn’t know you cared.” and it’s reminiscent of the dialogue above, but instead of denying it, you say “of course i do, you idiot.”
alright i went off (and now i want to write a fic about this) but i think the two of you would be really cute together because james sirius would love to talk with you about everything. he has a whole lot of siblings, and as the oldest is great at keeping conversation and he’s also actually really good at reading a room, despite what he may pretend. he would know when you’re feeling bad, and he’s also really good at accurately finding your insecurities and then boosting your self-esteem in exact ways.
and i also think that you and james sirius are music enthusiasts. if you are a pureblood, he introduces you to the wonders of muggle music, and if you are a half-blood or muggle born, you bond over your favorite muggle artists.
also, i have this headcanon that james sirius learns the guitar so he can be a certified heartthrob™ and no doubt he got the idea from you - you were in the hufflepuff common room just messing around, and he notices your guitar. maybe you learn together?
and while james sirius isn’t much of a reader, he loves movies more than anything else, so the two of you definitely have marathons.
Narnia:
I ship you with Peter Pevensie!
alright, the two of you would have the sweetest, most supportive relationship I’ve ever had the pleasure of writing
this one is a certified friends to lovers because from day one, the two of you get along really well together. even though peter is a little more extroverted, he’s the older brother and has a lot of introverted tendencies because he’s tired™
there is nothing that peter would love more than going on a walk through the gardens with you, talking about your interests - he likes to steer the topics to what you like to do because (1) he likes the way your eyes light up when you talk about what you love, and (2) he is tired of talking about himself. as king, he’s only ever talking about the problems he’s facing, or big problems that cover all of narnia. the smaller interests you have are his respite, his chance to have a bit of normalcy, as a high king.
you are also both hufflepuffs, so you’re fiercely loyal to those you love, and you’re both hard workers - stopping at nothing to do what needs to be done. you are both there to bolster the other in their efforts, but also get them to relax at the end of the day, since caring as much as you do and working as much as you do is the definition of exhausting.
you’re also the parent couple! we have peter, the dad friend (complete with the worst dad jokes you have ever heard. they’re even worse when they’re “king” jokes which are like dad jokes 2.0) and you, the mom friend! together, you make sure that your friends (and subjects) are well taken care of. and you act like stand in parents for edmund and lucy, which is not only exhausting but rewarding.
now, even though peter is a very affectionate person, more than that he’s thoughtful and the moment he realizes you don’t like that, he’ll stop. he’s more than happy to just be near you - reading books or pouring over documents with your input (because he definitely gets your input on issues of state).
he also becomes big on getting you flowers or making you food (because headcanon that peter learns to cook in the cair paravel kitchens!). peter just has a lot of feelings, and as long as he has a way to express them, he’s good.
he loves it when you give him praise, so whenever the two of you are stargazing and you compliment him, he blushes deeply. use this power wisely, because he will blush a deep red, and it’s a little awkward when he’s the definition of heart eyes in the middle of a privy council.
Newsies:
I ship you with Crutchie!
alright, so you and crutchie are, once again, a really sweet couple.
crutchie loves your way with words - you have a tiny notebook that he got you as a present, one year, and you are constantly writing poetry in them. you will often show him your work, and he’s astounded with your level of craftsmanship. he’s told you on multiple occasions that you should write one of those poetry books that he sees well-to-do men buy for those they love, and you get al bashful, one of his favorite looks.
also, both of you are dreamers. you definitely have lots of talks together, usually when you’re doing something absent minded like mending clothes or selling on the same corner, and you talk at length about what you want for this world, and what you hope to do in it. crutchie has a big imagination, and so do you. sometimes, the two of you see who can make up the best, most random story.
also! in a high school! au the two of you are the sweetest, most unsuspecting rule breakers ever. i mean, you’re friends with race and albert, after all, there has to be a chaotic streak in you somewhere. everyone is genuinely surprised when they realize that you and crutchie have snuck out of class and pulled the fire alarm before.
the two of you are also big readers. i imagine that crutchie likes mystery novels a lot. idk why, exactly, but he loves sherlock holmes, so the two of you not only read books together, but rate the different versions of sherlock holmes adaptations. (modern! au, of course, unless benedict cumberbatch is making tv series in 1899)
you debate over which of you is watson and which one of you is holmes. you’re both really smart, so it’s hard to say which one of you gets sherlock rights.
also, both of you are really good at hiding when you are hurting or in pain. and yet, both of you are also really good at spotting it in the other, seeing as you know the tells of hiding. i think you are both really empathetic and would be good with each other - leaning on each other when necessary and always being attentive of the other. all around, you’re a great match.
also, in a modern! au crutchie would love the percy jackson series. the two of you would riot over the terrible live-action movie and be very excited when the disney+ series comes out (here’s to hoping they don’t botch it)

MCU Hogwarts headcanons
A while back I did this with Lotr, and it was fun, so I will do it with the MCU now too. And no, I will not do a long ass post going over every fucking year because that would take such a long time, and I don’t bother.
And again, this is my opinion, you are entitled to yours, but I’m not interested in yours so screw it.
Tony: Ravenclaw, Pureblood. Kind of a slacker when it comes to classes, and basically sleeps his way through most of them, but still gets top scores on essays and tests. May be a Pureblood, but he don’t give a shit about your blood status. Addicted to sweets and coffee. Don’t approach him, he will start to gush about that kind Hufflepuff within five minutes. Is trying to find a spell that will make him taller because he smol. Ravenclaw chaser. Patronus is a Raven
Steve: Hufflepuff, muggleborn. Is one of those Hufflepuffs that is all sweet and stuff, but can fuck you up if desired too. A fan of dueling. Is there if you need to talk about something. Doesn’t know what’s going on around him, ever. Is really good at Herbology. Often pets the plants cuz he’s soft like that. Is totally in love with that snarky Ravenclaw boy. Hufflepuff keeper, Quidditch captain and prefect. Patronus is a bald eagle (Yes I did that)
Thor: Gryffindor, Pureblood. Stans everyone around him. Come to him if someone would insult you, he will beat up the person and then give you chocolate frogs. A huge effing nerd tbh, and really likes the Holyhead Harpies. Is shamelessly dating his adopted brother (YES I SHIP THORKI NO I WILL NOT APOLOGIZE). Amazing at weather magic. Wants to become an animagi. Patronus is a Labrador.
Natasha: Slytherin, Halfblood. Adopted and raised by an auror. Is in one of those stereotypical Hufflepuff-Slytherin friendships. Really good at potions. Everyone is either scared of her or in love with her, or both. Is a faithful girlfriend though. Is honestly though a real cutie. Makes fun of everyone. Just needs a hug. Slytherin beater. Patronus is a cheeta.
Bruce: Ravenclaw, halfblood. Werewolf. Not the boldest person in the world. Can snark back if needed to. Would rather not though. Is basically good at every subject. Used to get bullied, before Stark started snarling at everyone that came close. They are basically best friends. Fancies that loud gryffindor girl, but has no idea why. Ravenclaw prefect. Patronus is a frilled lizard.
Clint: Hufflepuff, muggleborn. Adopted and raised by an auror. Is in one of those stereotypical Hufflepuff-Slytherin friendships. Is trying to find a spell that will make him hear better. Really defensive of other disabled kids. Teaches them ways to use magic to make life easier. Is honestly just a huge mess. Constantly flirting with the stiff Hufflepuff girl. Goofball to the max. Likes flying. Hufflepuff beater. Patronus is a hawk.
Loki: Slytherin, pureblood. Was revealed to be adopted when he was ten. Has met his biological family once, and would rather not do it again. Master at illusion magic and the dark arts. Crossdressing icon. If you’re looking for him, he’s probably in the library studying something forbidden. Has taken the odd hufflepuff girl under his wing. Slytherin seeker. Patronus is a viper.
Bucky: Slytherin, muggleborn. Tired mom energy. Went through a goth phase in his third and fourth year, and is very embarassed by it. Lost his arm in his second year in a hydra accident. Loves his creepy girlfriend to bits. Friendly rivalry with the Hufflepuff boy that often hovers around his best friend. Bisexual Disaster at it’s finest. Slytherin beater. Patronus is a wolf.
T’Challa: Slytherin, pureblood. Probably the kindest person you will ever meet. Is often found at the top of the astronomy tower, watching the sunset. Recently found out about his cousin that’s attending Ilvermorny, and is trying to form a friendly relationship. Rumored to be from a royal family in Africa. Slytherin Prefect, Slytherin keeper, Quidditch captain and Head boy. Patronus is a Panther.
Rhodey: Gryffindor, halfblood. Childhood best friend with Stark. Has to drag him away from trouble constantly. Is the only one with a single braincell. Has often tried to combine small muggle devices with magic. Has often failed ar combining small muggle devices with magic. Aromantic icon. Is close to hexing his friend if he won’t stop babbling about the kind Hufflepuff boy. Gryffindor prefect and chaser. Patronus is a pigeon.
Stephen: Ravenclaw, muggleborn. Was so focused to learn everything about the wizarding world that he did it in the span of a single month. Was almost put into Slytherin. Kind of wants to be put into Slytherin because that Stark kid is getting on his nerves. Aims to be the next Merlin. Really good at charms and ancient runes. Has tried and suceeded multiple times to sneak into the restricted section in the library. Helps Loki to guide the odd Hufflepuff girl, so he won’t corrupt her in some way. Patronus is a Parrot.
Hela: Slytherin, Pureblood. Transexual queen. Goth lesbian to the max. Will protect her younger brothers with her life. Has a wolf as a pet, for some reason. Really fascinated by ghosts and Inferius. Basically really into death. Is often found talking to the thestrals. Hopelessly in love with her best friend. Might be a future dark lord, who knows. Patronus is a Unicorn.
Brunnhilde: Gryffindor, muggleborn. Butch lesbian and proud. Is not impressed by you. Has a firewhisky problem. Honestly just wants to chill with her BFF and do nothing. Constantly sneaks into the forbidden forest with her, just to skip class. Very oblivious. But is still relatively good at DADA and an amazing dueller. Gets along with her Best friends younger brother, who admires her a lot. Gryffindor beater and Quidditch captain. Patronus is a Pegasus.
Maria: Hufflepuff, muggleborn. Adopted and raised by an auror. Is one of the few Hufflepuffs that isn’t just a kind softy, but a pretty focused student. Gets along with Rhodey relatively well because she too has a couple of braincells. Is trying to become an Auror like her adopted father. Could this Hufflepuff boy stop flirting with me I’m trying to study. Hufflepuff prefect and head girl. Patronus is a lark.
Peter: Gryffindor, Halfblood. Literally the sweetest boy you will ever meet, oh my god how are you this innocent. Just a huge adorable nerd. Everyone loves him. Is best friends with the snarky Ravenclaw girl. Care of magical creatures king. Trans boy. Deathly afraid of spiders. Gryffindor seeker. Patronus is a Wren.
Shuri: Ravenclaw, pureblood. Smartest person in school, and is not afraid to show it. Constantly talks back to teachers. Has gotten a lot of detention because of it. Often does not do her homework though, as she’d rather do her own magical experiments. Gets a lot of detention because of that as well. Bisexual mess. Totally crushing on the soft Hufflepuff boy that she took a liking to. Ravenclaw seeker. Patronus is a panther.
Sam: Hufflepuff, halfblood. Prefers flying on his broom to walking, so he is doing that as much as possible. Sometimes he just flies around on his broom in the halls between classes. Proudly dating the kind Slytherin boy, and wants everyone to know about it. Is actually not a bad student, despite popular belief. Hufflepuff beater. Patronus is a Falcon.
Wanda: Hufflepuff, Halfblood. Was raised in muggle society, as she was abandoned by her Wizard father. A tad bit odd, but really powerful. Is one of the best students in the school at Non-verbal spells. Can do a few tricks with just her hands as well. Is mentored by a Slytherin boy and a Ravenclaw boy, who just can’t stop arguing with each other. Hufflepuff seeker. Patronus is an Augurey.
Pietro: Gryffindor, Halfblood. Was raised in muggle society, as he was abandoned by his Wizard father. Is always late in someway, so is always rushing around everywhere. Accidentally got his hair dyed white during transfiguration his second year, and he ended up liking it so he kept it. Is trying to create a spell to make him faster so he won’t be late all the time. Gryffindor chaser. Patronus is a Fwooper.
Darcy: Gryffindor, muggleborn. The only person who has beaten Thor in a duel. She just tazered him halfway through. Is that one student that refuses to use quills because why would I when pens are much easier? Never wears robes, always wears muggle clothing. Sassiest at Hogwarts. Omni and proud. Doesn’t bother to learn to pronounce a single thing, which has resuled in a couple of incidents. Shamessly in love with the shy Ravenclaw boy, and is constantly flirting. Patronus is a Hedgehog.
Vision: Ravenclaw, muggleborn. Grew up in an orphanage with his older brother Ultron, his older sister Friday and his younger brother Dumme. All four are wizards however. Is not close at all with his siblings. Grew up without any real human connection, so is really bad at emotions. His friend Wanda is teaching him though. Is really bad at social cues. Has a thing for shiny things, especially gems and jewels. Patronus is a crow.
Scott: Hufflepuff, muggleborn. Accidentally shrunk himself in his first year, and no one will let him live it down. Got a good friend from the whole thing though. Is just a big fan of the wizarding world though, and admires everyone. A human puppy. Introduces himself to everyone, in hope of making friends. Really likes to look at and draw bugs. Has more than once used the Engorgement charm on bugs, just to get a better look at them. Patronus is a bumblebee.
Hope: Ravenclaw, pureblood. Made friends with the boy that shrunk himself, just to figure out how he did it. He somehow managed to rub off on her, and in her later years she is a lot more snarky and joking. She regrets it everyday, but it’s too late because that boy is now her boyfriend and she will protect him until the very end. Is often in the glasshouses studying rare insects. Ravenclaw prefect. Patronus is a wasp.
I decided to stop here, because I literally could have kept going for ages, but I didn’t want to do that. Maybe I will make a part two involving the Guardians and a couple of other faces, I can do whatever I want.

Love Lessons
➵ A.C.E: (Gryffindor) Yuchan x fem. (Ravenclaw) reader / one shot, Hogwarts AU / fluff
➵ warnings: none
➵ word count: 3.7k
➵ series: Donghun, Sehyoon, Yuchan
Tumblr media
You are nervous.
Not that you’d ever admit it - but you are.
Every few seconds, your gaze wanders towards the big clock hanging above the doorway, but time is moving almost painfully slow today. Chan isn’t late yet, but you are (as always) way too early for your meeting - a private tutoring lesson. It’s good manners - or at least, that’s what your parents taught you when you were a child.
The Great Hall isn’t overly crowded today, which is no wonder - it’s Saturday and most students are on their way to Hogsmeade, while the younger ones are hauled up in their common rooms or outside, exploring the Hogwarts’ grounds. But earlier this week, you had agreed to help a fellow classmate with his Potions assignment, after an older Gryffindor asked you to.
You don’t mind, especially not when she had told you that it was none other than Kang Yuchan - better known as Chan - who needed your help. You’re actually in the same year, but only share one class with one another. But still, almost everyone knows Chan. He’s a very well-liked Gryffindor, always smiling and just... generally being adorable. He’s also one of Gryffindor’s beaters, so more than just a few girls (and probably some boys, too) swoon over him, some even following him to his different classes - which is ridiculous, in your opinion. While he doesn’t really seem to mind the attention, he also doesn’t directly engage with any of them.
Well and if you’re being completely honest… you might also have the teeniest of crushes on him. Which also explains the nervous state you’re in at the moment. The prospect of spending the entire afternoon in the sole company of one Kang Yuchan is making your heart flutter.
You just hope you won’t make a fool out of yourself. You tend to be awkward around too many people, especially ones from other houses. Around your fellow Ravenclaws, you know you can be your geeky self and throw around random knowledge without having to fear being called a “nerd” or “know-it-all”. With the other Houses though? That’s a whole different story. Especially the Slytherins usually have all kind of mean names for Ravenclaws.
“So sorry I’m late, I got lost on my way! One of the stairs moved all of the sudden and then I was in a totally different hallway again and then I almost ran into Mrs. Norris - and I’m really not the biggest fan of her, but who is, right? But well, I finally made it, so tadaa!”
You can’t help but break into a smile when Chan breathlessly rattles down his apology while sliding onto the chair beside you, his arm brushing yours in the process. There’s a pink flush covering his cheeks and his dark eyes twinkle when he smiles at you, his expression a little shy.
“Oh, no problem, you’re actually not late - I’m just early, as always.”, you reassure him and begin to shuffle through some papers in front of you to give your trembling hands something to do.
“I’m Chan, by the way.”, he introduces himself, ducking his head, cheeks flushing even more.
You grin, already feeling a bit bolder thanks to his own nervousness. “I know - I’m Y/N.”
“Thank you again for agreeing to tutor me! I know you probably have loads of other things to do, so I really appreciate you helping me!”
You notice that he talks very fast, almost stumbling over his own words - maybe that too is a sign of his nervousness. You sigh inwardly, silently cursing him for being so effortlessly adorable all the time.
“It’s no problem, I just hope I can actually help you.”, you answer in a soothing voice, which results in him raising both eyebrows.
“You helped someone older with Potions already, so I’m sure this topic won’t be a problem at all.”, he replies, actually sounding a bit confused, and you try to suppress your grin.
“Maybe not the topic, but what about the student?”
He blinks a few times before beginning to giggle. You can’t help but laugh yourself, glad he doesn’t mind your slight teasing.
“I swear I will try my best.”, he finally answers before taking out a quill, ink and parchment. Then, he looks at you with big, curious eyes, “So, where do we start?”
You drop one of the thick books you got from the library earlier that day on top of his parchment. “With Chapter three - first lesson: Love Potions.”
Tumblr media
As you quickly find out, Chan is a very diligent student. Your study sessions continue for a few weeks, but quickly turn into more than “just” study sessions: he asks you all kind of questions about yourself, wanting to know more about you, your interests as well as your family and friends. He’s easy to talk to, and you don’t mind him asking all those questions - you’re usually a bit more reserved when getting to know new people, but Chan makes it easy to open up to. He also tells you a lot about himself, and you can’t help but begin to really like him. He’s not only the bright, cheerful boy he lets everyone see, but also someone who likes to have long, profound conversations, someone who deeply cares about the people around him.
You often find yourself exploring the Hogwarts’ grounds at his side, all while talking about a variety of different topics.
Today, you’re talking about Muggles.
“So, you actually don’t know any Muggle personally?”, you ask him again - still a bit dumbfounded about this revelation. Chan just shrugs and pulls his Gryffindor scarf more tightly round his neck. His hair is windswept and the tip of his nose slightly red due to the cold afternoon air. He looks adorable, and you have to keep yourself from cuddling up to him, even though you feel the cold creeping under your dark, heavy robes as well.
“I mean, everyone in my family is either a wizard or witch - plus I grew up in a completely magical town, so I never really got the chance to meet any Muggles?”, he explains, actually sounding a bit sad about this.
“Mhm.”, you make, nodding carefully, “That does make sense. My mom is a witch and my dad a Muggle, so I was always surrounded by a lot of Muggles thanks to my dad’s side of the family.”
“Do they know about your mom and you being witches?”, Chan asks curiously, his dark eyes glowing almost golden in the setting sun.
You shake your head. “No, they think I’m at a normal boarding school in Scotland. My grandparents actually weren’t too happy about me being so far away, but my parents explained that I’d be able to get the best education ever, which will then obviously result in me having the best chances at getting the best jobs after graduation aaaand so on and so on. In the end, they accepted it - but that doesn’t stop them from giving my mom the stink eye every time they see her. They’re still blaming her for me being that far away.”, you explain, sighing deeply.
The young man at your side nods. “Family.”, he says wistfully, and you grin before repeating, in a kind of exasperated manner: “Family.”
Before reaching the Dark Forest, you both turn around again, the giant castle looking even more impressive in the light of the slowly setting sun. “It’s beautiful.”, you whisper, eyes big and round with awe.
Chan sighs dreamily. “So beautiful.”
When you look at him, you see him gazing at you, not the castle. He flushes and clears his throat, gesturing towards the remarkable stone building. “The most beautiful castle in the world.”
You giggle at his antics and tug at his robes to pull him with you and away from the Dark Forest again. “Let’s get back before we miss dinner again.”, you say teasingly and he pouts at you.
“It was not my fault we missed it yesterday! You were the one who desperately wanted to go by the Greenhouses to see if the rumor about Professor Longbottom having cultivated new mandrakes was true.”
You shrug. “I know, and it was totally worth it.”, you reply, a smile tugging at your lips. Chan playfully ruffles your hair. “Nerd.”, he murmurs affectionately and quickly runs away when you try to tickle him, but you’re already hot on his heels.
“I’m not a nerd!”, you yell breathlessly while chasing him towards the shore of the Great Lake, “So better take that back before I hex you!” You’re just teasing of course, but Chan holds up both hands in mock surrender nevertheless.
“I take it back! Please don’t hex your only non-Ravenclaw, non-nerdy friend.”, he pleads while trying to snatch your wand from you.
The playful combat between you two finally causes you to slip on the muddy grass. With a yelp, you fall backwards and quickly hold onto Chan as if your life depended on it, thus pulling him with you towards the ground. With a dull thump, you land on your back with the tall Gryffindor on top of you, your faces just inches apart, noses almost touching. You stare at one another, wide-eyed and breathless.
Time seems to be stretching endlessly while you look into his dark eyes.
When his gaze flickers to your lips, your breath hitches and that does it for him - he unfreezes and jumps up, both cheeks now sporting a dark blush. “I’m so sorry, are you okay?”, he asks, reaching out one hand towards you to pull you from the ground.
You ignore it and stand up by yourself, brushing off our robes while avoiding his gaze. “Yeah, I’m fine.”, you mumble, trying to ignore how hot your entire body feels, “Let’s just… go back to the castle.”
Chan simply nods, and you both stay silent until you’ve reached the entrance hall. You feel ashamed for thinking that the handsome Gryffindor was maybe… just maybe feeling something more than just friendship for you. Because without wanting to, you have fallen for him, hard and fast. And his rejection just now hurts. It hurts so badly, you almost choke on your own unshed tears. Maybe it’s ridiculous to think he could fall for you - he’s well-liked by the Professors and students alike. He’s a Gryffindor beater. He is bright and talkative and adorable. And you are… well, just you.
“I’ll see you tomorrow?”, Chan asks, voice a bit uncertain when he sees you immediately making your way towards the Ravenclaw table upon entering the Great Hall.
You look back at him and smile half-heartedly. “Sure.”, you mumble, quickly shuffling over to the Ravenclaw table. Quietly sliding onto the bench, you fill your platter with roast beef, potatoes and grilled vegetables, ignoring the questioning looks some of your friends are sending your way. You just continue to eat in silence, trying to ignore the dull pain inside your heart.
Tumblr media
You don’t see Chan the next day - or the day after.
But only because you are avoiding him.
You know it’s cowardly of you - but well, what can you say? You didn’t get sorted into Gryffindor for a reason.
Still, you feel kind of bad when he spots you on your way to class, waving excitedly until he notices that you quickly advert your eyes and turn away from him, getting lost in the mass of students pouring out of the different classrooms. You’re unable to forget the heartbroken look on his face for the rest of the day.
And the thing is, sooner rather than later you’ll have to face Chan again. After all, you do share one class: Divination. It’s definitely not your favorite subject, but you took it out of interest, and now you’re too proud to drop it. Still, so far you haven’t gained any real knowledge from reading some wet tea leaves or absent-mindedly staring into a crystal ball. The only thing you’ve gained is a mean headache - probably from all the different incense sticks Professor Trelawny insists on burning before and during every lesson.
Today is no different: the dimly lit room feels stuffy and too hot, even on this cold Winter day. Thanks to the sickly sweet smell of the incense sticks, you can already feel the beginning of another pounding headache. Right now, you curse yourself for not having had the guts to just drop this damned subject so far. Maybe you’ll finally do it next year. You look around for Mina, a fellow Ravenclaw and the only one out of your group of friends that decided to stick to Divination as well, but she’s not here yet. Instead, someone else is already sitting in her seat.
When you spot Chan’s dark hair and sharp jawline, you groan inwardly,
He can’t be serious!
For a second, you contemplate just skipping this lesson, but the Ravenclaw in you already grimaces at the mere thought of cutting class, so you finally relent and just take your usual seat.
Beside Chan.
The smile on his face is bright, but you see right through it - he’s hurt, even though he tries his best not to show it.
“Hi.”, you mumble while opening your bag and pretending to concentrate on finding some parchment, your favorite quill and an ink pot.
“Hey.”, Chan says back, just as quietly. You don’t think you’ve ever heard him use such a low voice before, he’s always so energetic and excited about everything that he can’t seem to keep his voice down.
You clear your throat, still not looking at him.
“Can we... - can we maybe talk? After class?”, he finally asks, and you close your eyes for a second before nodding curtly, thankful that Professor Trelawny is asking the class to calm down so she can start today’s lesson.
Out of all your lessons, Divination usually feels like it’s dragging on endlessly - but today, class seems to be over in the blink of an eye. You wish you could just apparate out of the class room and flee from this conversation, but you know that’s impossible. Because no one can actually apparate inside of Hogwarts.… Well, and you also haven’t taken your apparition test yet.
So, the only thing left for you to do is actually talk to the Gryffindor, who has already finished packing his things and is now looking at you expectantly. You bite the inside of your cheek, sigh deeply and hoist your bag on one shoulder. “Let’s go.”, you say, sounding a little defeated. Chan just raises one eyebrow and presses his lips together, a hurt expression crossing his face for a few seconds.
You don’t want to hurt him, of course you don’t, but you also want to protect yourself from experiencing more emotional turmoil. So showing him the cold shoulder had been the best way to ensure that. But right now, your heart actually hurts even more due to his sad expression.
“When’s your next class starting?”, Chan asks, trying his best to sound cheerful while he walks beside you.
“Oh, I have a free period now. I wanted to start studying for the Potions test next week. So I’m going to the library, I guess?”, you answer, trying to sound normal or at least indifferent.
“Okay, let me walk you.”
You just nod, and you both fall silent again.
Your bag, heavy with way too many books, slips from your shoulder and you quickly switch sides, hoisting it back up on your left shoulder this time - now it functions as a kind of barrier between you and the tall Gryffindor. Chan observes you out of the corner of his eye before reaching out one hand. “Let me carry that for you.” His tone is suddenly way more commanding than you’re used to, so you simply hand over your bag before actually realizing what you’re doing.
“Thank you.”, you mumble politely, face already beginning to feel hot again.
“So… Care to explain why you’ve been avoiding me like the plague these last few days?”, he finally asks, and by now, you know him well enough to recognize the hurt in his voice, even though he tries his best to sound indifferent. Without realizing you quicken your steps, the library not too far away anymore. Just around this corner and you’ll be free of him and this conversation. Before you’re able to round said corner though, Chan gently grabs your arm and pulls you around to face him. You look up, caught in his warm, dark eyes, breath hitching. Again, his gaze flickers from your eyes to your lips and back again.
“I - I haven’t been avoiding you.”, you lie weakly, trying to free your arm, but he doesn’t let go yet.
“Don’t lie to me.”, Chan says, voice dark and low - all of the sudden, he doesn’t seem as adorable anymore.
Some of the other students walking towards the library give you some questioning looks, some giggling or grinning openly at you. You guess you two do look very cozy right now, faces only inches apart, Chan’s hand still wrapped around your arm. The Gryffindor seems to notice the stares as well, eyes quickly darting around before settling on one of the tapestries hanging in the hallway.
“Let’s go.”, he simply says, already tugging you with him and through said tapestry - which obviously isn’t a real tapestry at all and just enchanted to look like one.
“I - how do you know about this?”, you ask, a bit stunned and in awe. You’re standing in a dark passageway now, Chan already murmuring a quick Lumos. He’s still standing way to close to your liking, and inside this small passageway, his body feels like it’s almost looming over yours.
“The Weasleys and Potters.”, Chan simply states, shrugging, “They often use this one and took me with them once.”
“Mhm.”, you just hum and look around the narrow passageway just to avoid looking at him.
“Y/N.”
You finally gaze up at him.
He’s biting his bottom lip while shifting from one foot to the other. “Why are you avoiding me?”
You sigh, fiddling with the blue tie around your neck, loosening it a bit. “I- uh… I just - didn’t want things to get awkward between us.”, you finally answer, clearing your throat and gazing down at your black boots.
“What… what do you mean?” Chan actually sounds confused.
You sigh again. “Isn’t it obvious?”, you ask and cross both arms in front of your chest, gazing up at him.
He blinks a few times. “I- I thought that I wasn’t obvious about it, no. I’m sorry, I just… I really care about our friendship and definitely don’t want to ruin it! I totally get if you want to continue avoiding me - but… well, I would hate to lose you like that! I just can’t... turn off my own feelings.”
Now you’re the one to blink at him. “What are you talking about?!”
“I mean, I get that you don’t like me like that - you’re kind and funny and beautiful and just so, so smart and I’m just… well, I’m just me, so…”
“Yuchan, what the hell are you talking about?!”, you interrupt him, still uncertain if you heard him correctly.
He groans, pushing one hand through his dark hair. “I’m talking about my huge, ridiculous crush on you!”, he finally spits out, flushing scarlet but still managing to look somewhat defiantly.
“You - you have a crush?! On me?!”, you repeat, mouth actually falling open.
Now, he does look a little uncomfortable. “I - yes? I thought… it was kind of obvious? I mean… that’s why you’ve been avoiding me? Right?” Now he’s the one to cross both arms in front of his chest, nervous all of the sudden.
You can’t help but break into a smile, and you hear his breath hitching. “God, you’re an idiot!”, you exclaim, actually giggling a bit, “I was avoiding you because I have a huge, ridiculous crush on you!”
For a few seconds, you’re both silent, just gaping at each other.
Then - finally - Chan’s whole face lights up, his dark eyes forming little crescents when he begins to smile at you. “Aren’t you supposed to be the smart one?! How come you didn’t figure this out earlier?”, he chuckles before raising one hand to gently cup your cheek.
You step closer and gaze into his dark eyes, your arms sliding around his waist to hug him. “Well, aren’t you the brave one? How come you didn’t confess earlier?”, you tease back, and he giggles.
“Touché.”
With that, he lowers his head towards yours, his lips gently moving against yours. You sigh and let him slip his tongue into your mouth, closing your eyes and sinking into his embrace.
When you break apart again, you can’t help but smile at him, the expression mirrored on his face.
“So, I guess during the next Quidditch match you’ll be cheering for Gryffindor now, huh?”, Chan says, eyes glinting mischievously, and you snort.
“Hah, never - Ravenclaw will kick your butt.”
He chuckles at that, pulling you close and kissing the top of your head. “We’ll see, I guess. Either way, I hope you’ll continue to give me loads of private tutoring lessons.”, he murmurs into your ear, voice suggestive, and you roll your eyes before shoving him playfully.
“I don’t know if you’ll be able to afford all those lessons.”, you shoot back, and Yuchan grabs your hand to pull you close again.
“Well, I can thankfully provide you with the best currency ever: my kisses.”, he proclaims happily, and you can’t help but giggle again, hiding your face in his chest.
“That actually does sound like an adequate payment.”, you mumble while he slides both arms around you, humming approvingly.
He nods. “What can I say, sometimes even us Gryffindors manage to have a good idea.”
“Yeah… only sometimes though.”
You’re already out of his embrace and dashing towards the library before he even manages to register the meaning behind your words.
When he does though, he tries to get his revenge by tickling you.
Thanks to that, Mrs. Pince throws you both out of the library, darkly mumbling something about all the lovesick students she has to handle at the moment.
You find you don’t even mind the one-week-long ban from the library.
... Because Chan’s beautiful laugh and happy expression are definitely more than worth it.

Have a very dry sense of humor and that would probably be a good selling point for you 4. He's big and intimidating, so when you're in "MUST PROTECT" mode he could help you defend your loved ones the way you'd probably try to defend his 5. You're a nerd and he desperately needs to catch up in pop culture = win win situation :). Now, about me: I'm not very tall (about 5'3") and I'm a brunette. Personality wise I'm known to be quite intelligent, ambitious, determined, caring and fussy over (2/ )
Friend's health, both physical and mental. I also try to be helpful whenever I can and I'm a very sarcastic and sassy human being. People often come to me when they need something analysed critically and meticulously, I'm very clinical when giving advice to my friends. I can also be proud, arrogant, petty, stubborn and too scared of change (specifically big or sudden changes). My dream is to one day become a lawyer and use the system to better people's life any way I can, if I made onePerson's life better I could probably die happy. I'm not the best at anything physical, which is why I don't really do much sport and I have been considered both shy and abrasive (somehow), so you can guess I'm not a social butterfly either. My hobbies include reading, watching and overanalyzing films and series and learning about random things just for the sake of it (particularly History). My MBTI is ISTJ, my enneagram is 6w5 (613 tritype), my Hogwarts house is Ravenclaw and my Ilvermorny house is Wampus (as I said, I can be a bit of a warrior as long as nothing physical is involved). Also, I think I forgot to mention that I'm a straight female, so sorry about that 😅. Thanks a lot in advance for doing this, you're really great!!! 💙💙💙
I legit have NEVER met an enneagram 6, so hey! That’s really cool!
Ship: FINN FINN FINN FINN. I feel it sooo strongly.
Brotp: Rey
Allegiance: Resistance
Force user?: Yes. You even sound like you’d be a Jedi based on your description. Intelligent, ambitious, meticulous, sacrificial & unselfish sounds like some pretty fantastic traits for a Jedi.
Headcanons:
As a force-sensitive individual, you were very quickly “drafted” into the very beginnings of the Resistance. They sought you out and begged you to join them and you did not take a lot of convincing given your ideas on justice and aiding others. It was the right thing to do. Despite your age being generally “too old” for Jedi training by the time you joined, Leia took you under her wing and taught you everything she could to help you harness your force sensitivity and use it to its fullest potential.
Finn admired you from the moment he knew you. Your sense of what’s right and what you stand for and, yet, never being afraid to admit your faults was something he admired deeply-- and related to. He, after all, was fresh out of leaving the First Order because of his empathy and sense of right and wrong. He also found you to be a total badass with your force sensitivity... And he might’ve found you to be just maybe a tiny bit beautiful...
Your first impression of Finn was a mixed one. I mean, he was a STORMTROOPER and now he’s just here? You were very wary of him at first, keeping a very close eye on him for anything suspicious. Sure, if his whole story was really accurate then it was very noble of him. But you weren’t quick to buy it. No one was going to have a CHANCE at harming your found family.
But then came the Invasion of Takodana. You were on the ground, the electrostaff of the Stormtrooper above you coming dangerously close to you as it clashed against your lightsaber. You were feeling weaker and weaker, your arms about to give out from the pressure coming from above. But then the pressure went away as you saw a lightsaber come through the trooper’s armor. It was Finn. He was rolled off to the side and a hand was lowered down to you. You took it gratefully, starting to regret your distrust of him. And, not having seen a lot of other Jedi in your life, it was really kinda nice to watch someone wield a lightsaber. It was kind of attractive honestly... He was kind of attractive, you thought. You apologized for your suspicion towards him as soon as you were both free from danger and that you respected his sacrifices for what was right and his courage and boy oh boy did his heart eyes just grow by that much more. You were fast friends after that and there were bets being made around base on how long it would take for you two to get together.

Go for the Gold
Go for the Gold
Namjoon x Reader
Author: Admin Mo
Sequel to Kiss and Cry (Link in Masterlist)
Word Count: 2k
Genre: Soulmate Fluff
Tumblr media
You and Namjoon had spent a while after you took off your bracelets and looked at your Soul Marks just sort of sitting there, crying, kissing, and holding each other until all of the heavy emotions that had been swirling around your hearts for so long had run their course. And then, like the nerds you were, you started talking about Harry Potter.
“I’m a Ravenclaw for sure.” You took a sip of homemade Shamrock Shake and watched the grin on Joonie’s face grow.
“So am I.”
“Wow, it’s like we were made for eachother.” You laughed.
He set his drink on the table and let his thumb rub your cheek a few times, admiring your features. You couldn’t help but flush red when he did it, warmth flooding your veins, spilling from your soul.
“How about that…” When he smiled, his dimples came out of hiding and sent your heart flying. And just as you were leaning in to press yet another kiss to his soft lips, your phone rang, leaving you both hanging.
“Hello?” You picked up. It was one of the other skaters.
“How’s your thing going?”
“It’s going better than expected. Which is to say amazingly.”
“So…”
“He’s my soulmate.” You could hear a group cheering on the other end of the line. When you looked up at Namjoon, he was grinning proudly, but when you caught his eyes, he covered his face, suddenly shy. You grinned and reached out for one of his large hands. “I know, it’s amazing. He’s amazing, I just...ugh...He’s so freaking perfect.”
Joonie’s face reddened adorably and he took the phone from you. “I think she’s pretty freaking perfect too, just to put that out there.” He listened to the group of your friends on the other end of the call for a few seconds, nodding and chuckling. “Yeah, I think that’d be a good idea too. We can definitely be there in a few minutes. I can call the boys. Yeah, alright. See you soon, then.” And with that, he hung up.
“So what’s the plan?”
“We’re going out for dinner to celebrate meeting the loves of our lives.” He brought your hand to his lips and pressed a kiss to each of your fingertips. Then, he stood up and pulled you to your feet. Being a skater, you were pretty short, but especially standing in front of him like this, forced to tilt your entire head up to make eye contact with him. He kind of loved it. A lot.
“What?” You chuckled at the look on his face.
Namjoon leaned forward and kissed your forehead, smiling against your skin. “You’re so cute.”
“Hushhhhh…” You blushed, turning away in an attempt to hide your burning cheeks.
He laughed and took your hand, and soon enough, you were sitting at a large table in a steakhouse in the Olympic village surrounded by the US skating team and BTS. It was insane. Only a week ago, you had been home skating at your local rink and now you here, in the center of the world’s focus with your friends, and now, your soulmate.
Namjoon made sure you tried everything at the table and helped you figure out what you did and didn’t like. He gushed about your skating and how you were definitely going to do amazing in you competitions the next few days. You tried very very hard not to fangirl about him and his music and his rapping, but you couldn’t hold it in for long, and long story short, you both ended up flustered and grinning like idiots. It just about gave the others cavities from how sweet you were.
After dinner, you went for a long walk with Namjoon, looking up at the stars and watching your breath puff up in clouds in front of you. His hand was tight around yours, and he couldn’t stop looking at you. You couldn’t stop looking at him either. He was just so freaking handsome. You couldn’t believe he was all yours. God, how had you gotten so lucky?
Namjoon, ever the gentleman, insisted on walking you back to your room for the night. Surprisingly, when you opened the door, the room was still empty, your roommate nowhere to be seen.
“Oh yeah, my roommate probably won’t be back until tomorrow morning. She’s uh...been having some fun with the Canadian athletes...So I pretty much have the place to myself unless she needs anything from in here.”
“Are you okay alone?” He asked quietly. “I could uh…” Namjoon rubbed the back of his neck, looking down at you.
“Would you?” You asked quietly. You really didn’t want to say goodbye to him just yet. Yes, he was coming to all of your matches over the next week. Yes, you were sure you would see him tomorrow. Yes, he was your forever. But you almost couldn’t handle the thought of parting ways yet. You just needed a little more time. “Please?”
“Of course.”
Minutes later, you were both sitting awkwardly on your bed, Joonie in his boxers and t-shirt and you in sweatpants and a tank top. You were sitting with your journal in your lap, scribbling out everything that had happened that day. Namjoon pretended to be scrolling through Twitter, but really, he was reading over your shoulder as your pen glided across the lined paper.
“Don’t forget the part about me.” He smirked.
“How could I forget the most important part?” You leaned your head against his shoulder, shattering the touch wall that had gone up the moment you had both gotten beneath the covers. He rested his head on top of yours, smiling softly.
Namjoon watched your pink pen write out your account of how you met. “...and so I took a big breath and tapped him on the arm. I was so nervous. Like, my hands were shaking, my voice was shaking, I seriously thought I was gonna pass out. Plus, his face was covered, so it was really just an educated guess if it was even him or not but it was and...long story short, there were lots of tears (good ones!) involved. He’s so tall and handsome and sweet and I know he’s reading this over my shoulder right now, but I don’t even care.”
He started chuckling and kissed your cheek a few times, quick little pecks that caused you to giggle.
“Much Love and goodnight, (Y/N) (L/N) <3.” You closed your journal and set it along with your pen on the nightstand.
As soon as your hands were free, Namjoon wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you into his lap. You rested your head back against his shoulder, exhaling a long sigh. God, your parents hadn’t been kidding about soulmates. They were definitely worth the wait. He pressed a long kiss to your neck, his arms holding you tight.
“I didn’t think it was possible to love someone this much.” Namjoon’s deep voice murmured against your skin.
Your heart raced and you closed your eyes, completely swallowed up in bliss. “It’s like I’ve known you my whole life.” You whispered, your voice quiet in the large room. Somewhere in the distance, you could make out the music of what was no doubt a party. But you were much more content here, in the arms of the man you were going to spend the rest of your life with.
***
The next morning, Joonie woke up a few minutes before you did. You had fallen asleep curled into his chest, your hair a tangled mess, (h/c) strands strewn across the pillow. Your breaths came out long and even, and as he watched you sleep peacefully he found himself falling deeper and deeper in love with this perfect little skater who had Lutz’ed her way into his heart.
Eventually, you blinked a few times and looked up at him. He brushed the hair out of your face so he could look into those beautiful eyes of yours.
“Today’s the big day.” He grinned when he saw you were finally awake.
You grinned at how his voice sounded in the morning, even deeper than it usually did and just a bit raspy. “Yesterday was the big day. Today is just the icing on the cake.”
The two of you got dressed and went to breakfast together. Namjoon’s hand barely left yours, and before you knew it, you were headed over to the rink for the big event. Today, you were skating the Short Program, and tomorrow, you had your Free Skate. You met up with your coach and headed to the warm-up area to stretch, get into costume, and so on and so forth. Namjoon had found the other boys in their spot in the crowd. They had a big sign with your name on it and they were decked out in Team USA stuff. The Shib Sibs had given the boys knitted hats with their names on them, so they were rocking them at the moment.
Once your hair and make-up was finished and you were in costume, you re-emerged, wearing your skates with covers over the blades. As soon as they let you, you were out on the ice with the other skaters, running through bits of your routine. Every time you passed the boys, they screamed. You made out Hoseok’s high-pitched wailing above the others, and it made you laugh a little.
When you were done and waiting for your turn, you sat on the bench jittery as all hell. Your hands were shaking, and every time you looked out at all of the people sitting there watching, let alone all of the people watching from home, your heart did a backflip. You grabbed your coach’s attention and asked quietly if someone could go get Namjoon. Although you weren’t exactly sure how, you knew that having him with you would help with your anxiety.
And you were right. As soon as he emerged, a concerned look on his face, something inside you clicked and you felt somewhat at ease.
“Are you okay, baby?” He asked, wrapping his arms around you and cradling your head.
“Better now...” You exhaled a shaky sigh and wrapped your arms around him.
“You’re going to do great. I know it.” He kissed the crown of your head.
“I’m sorry, I just needed you.” You whispered.
Namjoon held you a little tighter. “Don’t be sorry for that. I’ll always be here when you need me. I promise.”
***
“So, I thought today we’d do things a little differently.” Namjoon had started a VLive a few minutes before, but he had been waiting for stragglers who had just gotten the notification. “I want to introduce you to someone. We’re here in PyeongChang for the Olympics and I ran into someone I’m sure you’ve seen a lot of lately.”
You caught Namjoon’s eyes from off-camera and laughed. “Is that my cue?”
“Come here.” He held his arms open and you walked into the line of the camera and into his grasp. “ARMY, this is (Y/N). (Y/N), ARMY.”
“Hello.” You waved nervously. “I’m um...I’m Joonie’s soulmate. So yeah. Nice to meet you.”
“Show them your shiny new medal, baby.” He grinned, so ready to brag about his amazing soulmate and her amazing accomplishment.
“Joonieeeeee~” you whined, your face reddening.
He cupped a hand around his mouth and leaned towards the camera like he was telling the ARMYs a secret. “She won the gold.”
You laughed and gave him a playful shove. “Well, the only gold that matters to me is the name etched onto my wrist.” You flashed the now-gold symbols of Namjoon’s name and he beamed that beautiful dimple-kissed smile of his and pulled you onto his thigh, resting his chin on your shoulder.
“She IS perfect, isn’t she?” Namjoon read over the comments that were steadily flowing in. “I keep trying to tell her that, but she just won’t listen.”
“Okay, but when the most perfect human being on the planet tells you you’re perfect...I just...You’re so perfect, Joonie.”
He smiled softly and looked at you with a galaxy glistening in his brown eyes. “I think we’re perfect for eachother.”

LANA CONDOR —— Well, if it isn’t PANDORA KING, the RAVENCLAW superstar. For those of you who don’t know HER, you can spot them sitting with the other SIXTH years. Most people think that they’re INNOVATIVE and PASSIONATE, but they can also seem pretty TACTLESS and ALOOF. Sometimes people call them the TRAILBLAZER. Sure, they’re a MUGGLEBORN, but that doesn’t define them.
Tumblr media
okay it’s torro at it again, bringing this #1 cinnamon roll to the dash. i’ve never written pandora before and am kinda figuring her out as i go, but oh my god i love her and i hope you all do too!
let’s begin with the kings, a muggle couple who were both highly-revered for their scientific discoveries and developments. both misfits in larger society, the pair fell for each other hard and fast. they were married quickly, but thoughts about starting a family of their own were pushed away, both of them were too consumed by their own careers to worry about raising a child.
after several years invested in their work and a happy marriage, the kings decided they were ready for a child. someone they could mould into their own image and share their legacy with. although after so much time spent trying to no avail, they realised a totally traditional family wasn’t going to happen for them, not that they minded. and so, little pandora came into their lives.
the kings adored their baby girl, and showered her with love, but their parenting technique was perhaps questionable. she was pretty much given free reign in her life and they trusted her completely, despite her young age. frequent visits to her parents’ labs fostered a sense of curiosity within the girl and more often than not, pandora could be found with her nose stuck in a book instead of off socialising with other kids her age.
as pandora grew, her parents begun to realize that she wasn’t quite like other children. strange things always seemed to be happening around her. an explanation for these strange happenings finally came in the form of a letter and a strangely dressed woman claiming to be a teacher at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. pandora’s parents were dissapointed at first, their little girl had a brilliant mind and was sure to get in to one of the top schools in the country, but the look of sheer awe in pandora’s eyes as she heard stories of the wizarding world was enough to convince them.
soon, pandora king was setting off into the world on her own. every little thing she came across fascinated her, constantly asking questions and although some found pandora’s wide eyed curiosity endearing, there were many more that hated her for it. quickly she found out that this new world wasn’t exactly the utopia her childish mind had imagined. for everyone she encountered that was happy to teach her about magic, there was someone who thought she had no right to be there.
the harsh treatment pandora faced as a muggleborn was extremely confronting for her and really forced her to keep to herself a lot. in classes, no one could keep her quiet, but outside pandora became very shy. on top of the whole muggleborn thing, pandora honestly just didn’t have amazing social skills, bc she was a hella nerd. she had her close friends and was probably tight with all her teachers, but had a hard time making quick connections.
she’s started to get a little bit better, she’s made a bit of a name for herself around the school with some pretty neat inventions mixing magic and the muggle technology she grew up with and doing some fun stuff (details? idk her) with it. honestly she’s a bit of a weirdo and has zero intentions to change for anyone but she’s absolutely filled with love.
god i feel like i had so much more to say but my mind is totally blanking now. there’ll definitely be more to add here at some point but for now this is all you need to know.
connections/plots
-friendos. the people she can sorta let her guard down around. other nerds for her to be a nerd with (#ravensquad?)
-bullies. some purebloods who don’t like her and aren’t afraid to let her know. she’s so soft and i wanna see her cry.
-romANCE? look obvs pandora and xeno are endgame so i’ll pay good money for someone to bring him in, but idk maybe an ex or a crush? give her someone to thirst over and be hella awkward around
byeee
pls plot with me.

Let’s Go Out - A Wolfstar Drabble
[Fandom: Harry Potter (Marauders Era)
Characters: Sirius Black, Remus Lupin.
Word count: 1 883
A/N: A Wolfstar’s First date. This was supposed to be for my 500 follower thingy which was a few days ago but shhhh! In this one Remus is the one asking Sirius out because I felt like it. Also I took advantage in the beginning of the fact Sirius is a nerd in disguise.]
Remus and Sirius were reading in the Gryffindor’s Common Room, taking the whole sofa just because they could. Remus was leaning against one of the sofa’s arms and Sirius was right across him, doing the same. Remus put his book down briefly and looked around. The Common Room was already full of pink hearts all over the place and some younger students were preparing their Valentine’s cards. Right. Valentine’s. The dreaded day for all single people around the globe. Remus glanced at Sirius.  “Hey.” He said from his side of the sofa.
Sirius barely looked up from his Transfiguration book. “Yeah?”
Remus raised an eyebrow and poked him with his foot. “Look at me!”
“Not now, Moony, I’m reading something important.” Sirius said with a frown and Remus felt offended.
With a frown of himself Remus poked Sirius again. “Look at me!”
Sirius sighed before he put his book down. “What?” He asked rather harshly. “You know, Minnie is starting a new chapter next week, I intend to blow her mind away with my crazy awesome knowledge.”
Remus rolled his eyes fondly. As if Sirius needed to study ahead, ever. The boy was a school wonder, barely studied and yet he always excelled. “Let’s go out.” Said Remus.
Sirius looked out of the window. “Out? It’s snowing and I think I hear thunders.”
Remus fell silent for a few seconds, debating with himself if he really wanted to insist. He had only come to terms with his sexuality very recently and admitting out loud his feelings towards Sirius had taken a few (hard) pushes by Lily, Marlene, Dorcas and Alice, the resident sixth year Gryffindor girls. By recent, Remus meant, of course, that he had been denying his feelings since forth year and, finally, by the end of the fifth, he said it out loud.
But Remus breathed in and kept his cool. “No, Sirius. I mean go out. As… as in a date. Next Saturday. For Valentine’s.”
Suddenly Sirius had a whole new interest in the conversation “O-oh.” Sirius mumbled. He opened and closed his mouth a few times as if he was about to answer and widened his eyes comically, making him look like a fish outside water. Remus was starting to feel nervous when a grin spread on Sirius face and he pulled himself together. “What’s the plan?”
*~*~*~*
“Remus Lupin… I never took you for the romantic type.” Sirius said as they walked calmly towards Hogsmeade, a smirk on his face.
Remus raised his eyebrows. “Uh, I suggested going to Honeydukes and then Zonko’s and then maybe stop by Hog’s Head to see Abe and get free butterbeer. You were the one who booked us a table at Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop!” He said with an amused grin. He had thought Sirius would have felt way more comfortable doing things they enjoyed and going to the places they were familiar with but as it turned out he wanted what he had called “a proper date”.
Sirius huffed. “That’s not a date, Moony, that’s a normal Saturday! If I wanted to listen to Prongs whine over Lily blowing him off yet another time, I would have said no to the date.” He grumbled.
Remus chuckled and reached for Sirius’ hand. “Fine, we could have gone to the Three Broomsticks then.” He said earning himself a shoulder bump.
Walking into Madam’s Puddifoot’s felt like spending a year’s quota of pink and fluffy things in a single place. Remus couldn’t focus on one detail at the time as there was so much to look at. The only tuned down colours came from the tables which were full with couples being sickening cute and although he almost felt out of place, Remus couldn’t bring himself to mind.
At that point, Madam Puddifoot could be a troll sized fluffy purple kitten with a yellow polka dot green umbrella and a top hat and Remus would probably not even notice because when he glanced over at Sirius he looked like he was beaming with happiness and Remus could almost swear he saw a small blush when the other boy noticed a couple snogging a few tables away.
That was a first. Sirius Black, the one and only, rumoured to have snogged with all the Ravenclaw girls from their year and also some of the Hufflepuff boys, Sirius who spent a few months flirting with Remus to the point Remus would be a hot flushing mess was blushing at the projected idea of snogging Remus Lupin by watching another couple kiss. It was a great day so far.
They were seated by Madam Puddifoot herself and Remus was almost disappointed she wasn’t a giant fluffy creature. She was a bubbly woman who seemed thrilled to be hosting Valentine’s in her small tea shop and she was eager to take their order so she would have time to “make it perfect” she had chirped. They asked for a pot of tea and a platter with different tea time snacks.
Conversation came easy with Sirius and Remus, they were great friends before they started to like each other so there weren’t awkward silences but it wasn’t exactly like a normal conversation between them either. Remus told Sirius some things he, surprisingly, still didn’t know about him, old stories too, and Sirius was did the same. Remus even caught himself flirting a bit and laughing more freely than he would on any other day. It felt good.
They already had their tea and their bite size cakes and sandwiches when Sirius asked the question that was bothering his mind. “So… Why now?”
“Why now what?” Remus asked before sipping his tea, counting mentally how many different chocolate cake pieces were there to start planning his fights.
“You know.” Sirius smiled. “Why asking me out now? What changed since last year?”
“Well…” Remus put his cup down. “After the last time you asked me out and I had that… Strong reaction, I-”
“Oh yes, you did turn me down very strongly. I remember quite well. The howler too.” Sirius said with a small chuckle.
“Anyway!” Remus’ cut him off. “I was in denial then. And you totally deserved that howler, don’t even get me started, Pads.” He huffed.
“Did I, now?” Sirius laughed. “So, you’re telling me that I deserved being yelled at by letter even though you sleep on the bed right next to mine.”
The words Remus grumbled out next were barely understood but they sounded something like. “If I said you deserved it, you deserved it.”
They stayed in the tea shop for a while, the conversation continued as they drank their tea and ate their food. “Should we pay and go for a walk?” Remus asked after as he stole the last brownie. At the sight of Sirius’ puppy eyes he sighed and bit half of it off before offering Sirius the rest.
Sirius hummed as he chewed the chocolaty goodness and nodded before glancing around the tea shop, so he could call Madam Puddifoot. However, Remus stood and walked over to her. He was not letting Sirius pay, he had already hijacked his date plan.
“Alright, can we go to Zonko’s?” Sirius asked when they stepped out of the tea shop and Remus turned to him with an over dramatic gasp.
“I’m sorry I must have misheard.” Remus said. “What did you say? Just now.” Remus asked sarcastically.
“You know what, I take it back.” Sirius nodded.
Remus chuckled and took Sirius’ hand, walking towards the general direction of Zonko’s Joke Shop.
Zonko’s was the frosting on the cake. They had a lot of fun going through the new items in the shop and even ended up buying nose biting tea cups to use against James and Peter. The day was going great and as time passed Remus started to daydream about kissing Sirius. Okay he had done it before, on several different occasions, but it was different now, they were on a date, he was officially allowed to kiss Sirius. And he wanted to.
After Zonko’s neither of them wanted to return to Hogwarts just yet but they didn’t want to get themselves in a pub either. They settled on a walk through town. But after walking up and down the main street a few times Remus realised there was no way they would have the privacy he needed for their first kiss so he suggested they would go back to Hogwarts but through the long way around, taking the passage through the Shrieking Shack.
They were on their way to the Shrieking Shack, just walking calmly and chatting. Remus loved the crunching noise and feel of the fresh snow under his feet but he did not love the feel of the fresh snow on his face… And slipping in his jeans.
Remus only realised Sirius tackled him to the ground too late. He rolled around, ready to protest but Sirius covered his mouth. “Shh!” He urged.
Remus hoped Sirius felt the glare he was giving him pierce through his skull and burning his soul, because Remus was not happy. His back was starting to soak and he was slowly starting to freeze. Sirius was still half on top of him, which on any other situation he would have appreciated but now he just wanted to shove snow down his shirt and punch him, maybe.
“Prongs is over there. With Evans. I am not going to stop that.” Sirius whispered. “I am not trying to receive the award of the world’s worst best mate.”
Remus widened his eyes and pushed Sirius off him so he could peak at the couple. Sure enough just a few metres away James and Lily stood, talking with each other. James had a small shy smile on his face and he was rubbing the back of his neck and Lily was grinning at him, arms crossed over her chest. “No way. Do you think they’re fighting?” He whispered and then looked at Sirius. “Do you think they are secretly dating?!”
“As if James would be able to keep that secret.” Sirius rolled his eyes.
Lily stepped forward and took James’ face in her hands. Remus jaw dropped and he felt Sirius shaking him. When she started leaning in to kiss James, Remus pulled Sirius down again.
“Hey!” he whined.
“Come on, give them their privacy, I am sure we’re going to get to watch them snog a lot in the future.” Remus said. James and Lily didn’t stay for too long. After they parted from their soft kiss, James took her hand and they started walking back to town.
Sirius hummed as he finally got to stand up, he took his wand out and with a flick Remus felt dry and warm, which was really nice giving how hard his teeth were chattering already. Sirius looked pleased for his friend for a few seconds before his expression fell. “Oh no.”
“What?” Remus asked fixing his clothes.
“He’s never going to shut up now. It’s going to be even worse than before.” Sirius said with an anguished expression on his face.
“Think positive. Now you can just ignore him and snog me instead.” Remus grinned.
“I can?” Sirius glanced at him with a grin of his own, only receiving a wink in return.

Part 10 / ?
Cast / Masterlist
AN: This chapter is kind of a filler but there is a bit of character developing that is super important I guess. Also, there like one curse word in here. And lastly, I have two drabbles planned between this chapter and the next one so watch out;
-
Slytherin house members were seldom caught unprepared, if they were, they’d just fake it until they were out of the situation at hand but every single person was thrown off guard when James sat right in front of Lyra, Dominique and Michelle that morning.
“Lyra, Nick, Michelle, long time no see, ladies.” The older girl scoffed slightly before answering.
“I do wish it were longer, Potter.” The boy laughed to cover up his hurting.
“Ha-ha, Why so hostile?” Michelle rolled her eyes very hard at this; even she knew what had happened between them.
“Your face leaves a bad taste in my mouth.”
Once upon a time, all she wanted was to make amends with him. He used to be her most trusted friend, the one she could count on at all times but then he let his father’s prejudice blind his judgments and the rest was well known amongst the students at Hogwarts (even between the Wizarding society there were stories and the like about the Scamander girl and the eldest Potter child). James was a bit stunned by the girl’s answer but he persisted nonetheless.
“I was just wondering if you already had a team for the competition.” Boy, I am one of the reasons this whole thing is happening.
“Yeah, I’m in a team with my brothers and Castor but even if I wasn’t, what makes you think I’d want to be anywhere near you?” The girl raised a perfectly plucked eyebrow and placed a slight smirk on her lips. Slytherin girls had perfected charms and spells to improve their appearance in any way they wanted to, but before getting access to the spell book (yes, they had compiled everything into one book to make everyone’s life’s easier) girls were taught that the only person that should care about the way they looked were themselves, other people’s opinions be damned.
The boy stalled upon this blunt answer, practically everyone loved him so why the person he wanted to like him the most just couldn’t? The girl smiled to her friends before continuing to talk.
“In fact allow me to demonstrate the distance I’d like to exist between us.” She then got up and walked away, linking arms with Carter and Fred, chatting about Merlin knows what. James sighed before looking around awkwardly at the several groups spread at the table, he knocked on wooden tabletop lightly with his knuckles before leaving, sending an uneasy smile to his brother.
Michelle was happily seating with her group, another girl, a boy and Lane, who preferred to be called by name only, no pronouns. She loved to meet different people and she had to admit that The Founders had mastered a brilliant plan whoever they were. Carter and Fred discussed their theories with Lyra without giving away too much, the girl barely paid attention, she just smiled to everyone and greeted everyone as they went. In a sense, she reminded people of Lily Evans, with her kindness and her overall academic brilliance; even Hermione was impressed by the girl who was an even better student than herself.
Suddenly the girl split from the pair to go rescue her brother, Lorcan, who was backed into a corner by a rather insistent girl, of course she would rescue him but first she’d have a little fun just watching the situation. Poor girl, my brother’s not into girls. Or boys, while we’re at it.
“But why won’t you just be a part of my team? Or go out with me?” The brunet girl whined.
“If it makes you feel any better, I don’t want to go out with anyone for that matter.” She then looked confused. “I’m ace, ya know?”
There it was, the inevitable confusion before the person turned around and left. Most people knew about Lorcan’s sexual option but very few still insisted on hitting on him, it was a rather awkward situation for everyone involved, Lyra decided to swoop in to save her brother from the girl still nearby.
“Brother Dearest, can I steal you for a while?”
         “Please do.”
A few days later the competition was well underway, since it was a Wednesday it meant that it was studying day. Not really day more like an hour or two but it was an event organized by the prefects for fifth and seventh year students to help them revise for their upcoming exams; it happened on the great hall since there were a lot of students and they would never fit inside the library.
On the head of the table that was usually occupied by the Ravenclaw, Lyra sat with Teddy, Augusta, Castor, Cassandra, who despite being a sixth year was taking seventh year Herbology and Molly and Rafael revising the things they had learned over the years. Despite it not being her forte, Lyra was rather good at this subject and it never hurt to learn a little more.
“There are many more uses to Mandrake than reversing petrification.” Said Rafael, who was the best student when it came to mandrakes. Each of them would pitch in things or facts they thought useful.
Lyra sat between Teddy and Molly as usual during the study sessions. Molly had a very neat style of note taking and would always ask the questions she was too shy to ask, plus she had this weird ability to sense when they were getting to tired to the study be of any use, while her best friend would act as her personal heater, specially in weather that was growing colder by the minute, how she managed to always be so cold was beyond anyone’s understanding. The girl nestled her hands between Teddy’s, hoping to steal some of his warmth.
“Oh fuck Lyra, your hands are cold.” The girl in question had a long sleeved shirt on, her uniform sweater, one of Lysander’s zip-up jumpers and a leather jacket she had stolen from James’s house one summer when she climbed to the attic trying to avoid him.
         “Aren’t they always honey?”
“Sometimes I wonder just how dead you are for your hands to be this icy.”
The position they were in, with her back leaned partially against his chest, his hands on her lap made for the perfect way to communicate in a hushed manner  without disturbing the rest of their friends. No one found the way they were sitting weird, it was normal for them to always be touching in one way or another.
“You are so funny, Edward. Bite me.” Mostly, their friendship was purely based on sass and mischievousness but lately there had been a change in the air between them. Sure, Teddy knew he liked Lyra in a different way for a couple of years, the feeling growing through the years. Lyra, however, despite calling herself a “hopeless romantic” had never, in a million years, seen herself falling for her best friend yet here she was, her heart beating slightly faster and her cheeks completely flushed by the usual way they sat.
“Okay then.” The noy decided to test the waters a bit and took the girl’s words literally. He gently placed his lips on what little skin of her neck had been left exposed, the kiss was brief but it left them both wanting more.
         “What the hell was that?”
“Honestly, I don’t know.” The girl in his arms let out a content hum.”
“Whatever it was, I liked it very much.”

OC questions: In what ways are Daniel and JJ similar to and different from Xander? In what ways are they similar to and different from Cordelia? What do Xander and Cordelia find is the most difficult aspect of parenting them? Are Daniel and JJ close to each other or do they fight a lot? Do JJ and Daniel have any contact with Cordelia and Xander's extended families? What Hogwarts Houses would Daniel and JJ both be sorted into?! What's their MBTI? What are their passions and interests?!
Thank youfor asking me about my OCs! ^^ ilysm.
Okay, sojust as a note I don’t do/like MBTI, so I couldn’t tell you one way or theother what Daniel and JJ are in that sense.
As for therest… well, strap in, because this post got longer than expected.
In what ways are Daniel and JJ similar toand different from Xander?
Daniel takesafter Xander in a few key ways – he inherited his dad’s wit, but also his dad’soccasional horrendously bad timing with humor. He also inherited his dad’s skillat reading people and situations, which while far from perfect, often lets himcut to the heart of things.
He’sdifferent from his dad was at his age in that he doesn’t have any issues withhis own sense of masculinity (which Xander has Grandpa Tony to thank for, ofcourse) and just a much higher native sense of self esteem. Also unlike Xander,he’s very focused academically and always has been – Xander’s not dumb, not bya longshot, but Daniel is reallysmart, and more importantly, has a genuine desire to learn Xander never had.
JJ takesafter Xander  in her (similar to his)absolute disdain for the “in” crowd at High School. She’s also as much of anerd as he is, and then some. (Not that Daniel doesn’t have some nerdishtendencies, but compared to his dad or sister…) She also has his fiercedetermination to help, to be part of the Fight against demons and vamps (Yes,Xander eventually left Sunnydale and the day to day of the Fight, but he didthat mostly because Cordelia wanted a more normal-adjacent life, not because hewanted out. And he still gets involved from time to time, though less and lessonce he has kids). When JJ found out she was a potential (and yes, she is, andyes, Cordelia and Xander are very unhappy about that) she got really into it. Like,JJ doesn’t want the current Slayer(there’s been only 2 counting the current one since Faith’s near-deathexperience called her ‘replacement’ some 14 years ago – average Slayer lifespanhas increased) to die or anything, but she also really wants to be called. (And, secretly unbeknownst to herparents, she’s started looking at Colleges in or very near Cleveland, OH, soshe can be on the Hellmouth and help the fight in any way she can, though she’sgot 2 more years till college). She also has Xander’s complete lack of nativefashion sense. (Xander has been borrowing Cordelia’s fashion sense since theystarted dating, after all :p )
She’s unlikeXander in that she’s more cynical than he ever was and she’s sarcastic more ina blunt and nasty way than funny (though she can be funny). She’s also muchmore athletic and into sports, though her disdain for the “in” crowd at schoolmeans she’s refrained from actually joiningany sports at school. She’s also a much better liar than Xander is.
In what ways are they similar to anddifferent from Cordelia?
Daniel, likeCordelia, is very open and very ‘what you see is what you get’ – he is who heis and he makes no apologies for it. He’s also pretty socially involved and hasa wide-social circle. He’s also mastered Cordelia’s old talent at convincingDaddy to buy her things (though in his case, it’s convincing Cordelia to buy him things. Xander has teased her that one would think she’d beable to have better resistance against her own tactics).
UnlikeCordelia, he’s got this wonderful thing called Tact. He also has no desire tobe popular, though he could be if he wanted to (Cordelia taught him all thetricks, but also taught him to not make her early HS mistake and take fakefriends and popularity/adulation over real friendships  - both is good if you can get it, but thelatter is better than the former, every time).
JJ is likeCordelia in that she’s blunt and can be quite cruel about it in the process, sometimes unintentionally, sometimes intentionally. She’s also got Cordelia’sinterest in theater (Cordelia does, in time, get better at acting, an ends updoing a fair bit of local community theater in Sacremento), though like hermom, she doesn’t have much of a singing voice. She’s unlike Cordelia in her ahm…desire to be on the front lines of the fight, always (Cordelia doesn’t shy orrun from the fight, never has, but in part because she never got the visions, she has a much more practical and cautious ‘I can only do so much on the frontlines since I have no powers’ approach). She’s also, of course, activelyrepulsed by the very idea of being popular or in the ‘in’ crowd. And, ofcourse, has no fashion sense.
What do Xander and Cordelia find is themost difficult aspect of parenting them?
Steering thekids from making the same mistakes they did growing up (no parent wants theirkid to do that – and everyone made mistakes growing up) without stifling them. Also the fact that both of their kids aren’t like, forever content to just donothing about vamps and demons (Daniel is a lot more low-key, and more willingto take a back-tier role, but he does want to help and be a part of things, andthat carries risk). Given Xander and Cordelia’s pasts, it’s hard to just say ‘NO!’to that without looking like total hypocrites.
Also, justall the little fiddly bits of raising kids – from helping with school work tomaking sure they do their chores to worrying when they’re sick or a half-hourlate or whatever. Knowing they’ll both leave the house for good (Daniel stillcomes home for Summer and holidays while at College, after all).
Are Daniel and JJ close to each other or dothey fight a lot?
They fightlike cats and dogs, but they’re also probably the closest person the other has. That sibling stereotype – nobody messes with my sibling but me, and all that. Theytell each other everything (Daniel told JJ he thought he might be gay, then hewas bi, once he realized he liked both genders, JJ told Daniel about her planto go to college on the Cleveland Hellmouth).
But both canget easily exasperated with the other, and they can fight over the most triviallittle thing.
Do JJ and Daniel have any contact withCordelia and Xander's extended families?
Some. Theyvisit Grandma Harris from time to time, or she visits them. They have little todo with Cordelia’s parents, however. Some of Cordelia’s cousins andaunts/uncles eventually reconnect with her, and so there’s some of that, andthere’s been visits and contacts, etc with some of the less unpleasant branchesof the Harris family. But really, the extended family that matters to theChase-Harris family is the whole extended Sunnydale/L.A. gang.
What Hogwarts Houses would Daniel and JJboth be sorted into?
Daniel is asolid Ravenclaw. He’s waaaay too into figuring out magic scientifically to beanything else. He wants to know, wants to learn, needs to know.
JJ is a Slytherinwith Griffindor  aspects. She’s a bit ofa loner, has… mildly flexible ethics, and views the world in a much moreSlytherin sort of mind. But still, it’s very Griffindory to want to be on thefront lines of the eternal fight of good versus evil so badly.
What are their passions and interests?!
Daniel isinto Science, Science-Fiction (especially space opera) and engineering. Thoseare his big favorites.
JJ likesacting, video games (the more immersive and in-depth the better… also shallowaction games with lots of explosions, and jumpscare survival horror games and…okay, so she basically every video game genre) and martial arts. Comic bookstoo.
