As usual, hike has been a complete rollercoaster. Very high highs and very low lows. But the views are simply amazing and after some rest in town yesterday and today I'm excited for the last stretch!

hi I'm back with the final chapter, wanted to finish it and post it sooner but life got in the way anyways here it be:

New Adventures Summer Camp

Ch. 14/14

The last couple weeks of Kurt’s summer simply flew by. His days had been filled with preparing for his move to New York and spending time with Blaine. Yes, they spent the rest of the summer still finding every excuse to spend time together– dinner dates and movie nights and shopping days and afternoons spent in the pool at Blaine’s house (okay, ‘house’ was more like ‘mini-mansion’...Blaine hadn’t been kidding when he mentioned that his family had money, but he never said that they were rich rich) and really just any little excuse to be together. Even now, as Kurt was packing the last of his things to go to New York, Blaine had come over to help him pack. Though, Blaine ‘helping’ quickly turned into Blaine distracting him with kisses every couple minutes, which soon turned into lying on Kurt’s bed making out, which meant that there was still more packing that needed to be done.

Blaine whined when Kurt pulled away and moved off the bed for a couple minutes to finish packing his things.

“Babe. Please don’t do the puppy dog eyes again, I need to finish packing,” Kurt pleaded.

“Fine,” Blaine pouted. “I wish you didn’t have to pack right now…”

“I know, I wish I didn’t have to either, but I leave for New York tomorrow,” Kurt reminded him.

“I still can’t believe that you leave tomorrow morning already,” Blaine remarked. ”I’m starting to miss you already..”

Her crush on Nami had to remain a secret.

It was indecent for her, a princess, to love someone like this. When she wasn’t even of age, when she wasn’t yet the rightful ruler of her country. When Nami was a pirate of all things, a criminal, someone who would have to leave as soon as the escort mission was complete.

---But Nami had to know!

There was just no way she didn’t. Not when Vivi’s heart beat so loud every time Nami smiled at her just so or laughed in her perfect way, not when her heart was torn anew at the thought of leaving her behind. Not when Vivi’s daydreams about her were so vivid that there was no way everyone couldn’t tell what she was thinking.

They were on watch together, staring out at the sea, and basking under the moonlight. It was then that Nami leaned over and whispered something.

“You’re bad at keeping secrets.”

“No!” Vivi exclaimed. “No one even knows I love you, do they?!”

Nami threw back her head and laughed, and even as Vivi covered her mouth in shame, Nami leaned in, resting her head on Vivi’s shoulders.

it started with mortal kombat and scene kid eyeliner, then lorde on the bus to band competitions, my world famous track playlist, summer in europe with the adventure group, xc in the fall, chilly nights and snow, ending with lots of laughter and a sense of hopefulness for the future. 2022: explosive flavors. crack open with care :)
