Primus and Rung BFFS AU - Rung is not Primus but Primus head priest/best friend.

Minibot Cyclonus AU - What it says, Cyclonus is a minibot.

Lost Son AU - Getaway finds out Megatron is his dad.

Vehicon Cliffjumper AU - After Cliffjumper's death he possesses the body of a vehicon.

Baby Waspinator AU - Blackarachnia's experiment turns Wasp into an adorable baby Waspinator.

Truthful Getaway AU - Getaway has the same condition as Flywheels and can't lie.

Bitter Orion AU - Orion wanted the Senate to die.

Time Loop AU - Bumblebee (or other bot) is stuck in a time loop.

Reborn Yoketron AU - Yoketron is reborn on Earth.

Empurata Bumblebee - Because of Bumblebee's false allegation of Wasp being a decepticon, he's made empurata.

Matriarch Spider AU - The spider that transformed Elita was a spider matriarch, making Blackarachnia much larger and more powerful.

Daycare AU - The bots and cons are in daycare, no war.

Anodite Bumblebee AU - Bumblebee is an Anodite (from Ben 10).

Cassette Minimus Ambus AU - Minimus goes undercover as a con and gets basically adopted by Soundwave.

TFA True Prime AU - Optimus becomes a true Prime (one with a Matrix).

TFA Mega-smol AU - Megatron is a minibot, shorter than Bumblebee.

Primus Is Among Us - Pre-war functionists find out Rung is Primus.

Borrowed Time AU - Blackarachnia's lifespan is greatly reduced because she's a techno organic.

Mysterious Stranger AU - Rung is not completely forgotten by everyone, just his appearance. All cybertronians have at some point met him but they can't remember what he looks like.

Living Planet AU - TFA AU where the Allspark crashed into a planet made out of solid metal and effectively created Cybertron 2.0.

Survivor AU - TFA AU where Elita One did not become Blackarachnia and escaped the planet, only to return to Cybertron and find out Optimus got all the blame for her supposed death.

Amnesiac Orion Pax AU - Optimus stayed behind with Elita on Archa 7 and while she got turned into Blackarachnia, he got amnesia.

Too Far AU - Pre-war AU where the Senate performed shadowplay on Megatron's s/o and this caused Megatron to finally snap.

Ratchet the Prime AU - Ratchet becomes Prime.

Cityspeaker Sari AU - Sari becomes a cityspeaker.

Megatron the Vehicon AU - Megatron is a vehicon that simply modded himself to look like a bot.

Mama Overlord AU - TFA Overlord is Optimus' Creator

Smokescreen the Prime AU - Smokescreen became the next Prime.

Uncle Magnus AU - Ultra Magnus adopted Bumblebee (can be part of Monarch AU).

Minicon Overlord AU - Overlord was forged as a minibot but was subjected to experiments that made him who he is now. He also has a minicon son named Click.

Spider Sentinel AU - Sentinel was the one to turn into Blackarachnia.

Hollow Spark AU - After Rung dies making the Matrices, he's reborn in Hallownest.

TFA/ROTTMNT Crossover AU - Lou Jitsu gets magically transported to Cybertron and transformed into a cybertronian.

One Punch Man AU - There's a cybertronian version of One Punch Man.

Death AU - Death is an actual figure and appears before cybertronians when they die or when lots of death happens. Based on Death from Puss In Boots 2.

Dracula AU - Megatron (or some other bot) is Dracula.

"I am Gen..." The large, blue figure introduced itself. With a smile, he leaned forward, resting his chin on the back of his hand as if the blue clouds beneath him were a mattress. "I am a being created by the Goddess of Light to aid humanity in their pursuit of knowledge. I have been granted the ability to answer three questions every one hundred years. You are in luck, as I am currently able to answer-"

"That's enough!" Shouted a familiar voice. Cinder turned to the hooded girl, who'd now shifted from sweet, innocent Ruby Rose to Salem.

"-two questions." The group stared at the small girl with red eyes. Didn't Salem say that the relics wouldn't work? If that were the case, then why was the relic working just fine right now? Something wasn't adding up. "It's been too long, Salem."

"Cinder, please," Salem pleaded, "don't."

"Hey." All eyes turned to Hazel, standing close by with her arms folded. Emerald, Mercury, and Neo stepped between him and their leader. His face twisted as he considered what to say before sighing and waving a hand. "Do whatever you think is right, kid."

Cinder gulped. "Gen..?" A thousand questions raced through her mind, and yet none of them could find their way to her lips. As she looked at Ruby, whose eyes were changed from their usual silver to something more unnervingly red, one question did find its way to her lips. "What is Salem hiding from us?"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-"

Cinder whirled in place to find Salem reaching for her. She clutched her eyes and shielded herself, but soon found no impact was to come. Opening her eyes, she found herself separated from her team, lost in an unfamiliar world, totally alien to her. As if she were dropped into a blank canvas waiting to be painted.

"Emerald?" She called. "Mercury?"

"Cinder?" Mercury called, unaware that he'd been called for as well. "Em-"

'-erald?' Neo called with her scroll. She double-checked that her volume was on its highest setting.

"Merc?" Suddenly, the world began to build itself around Emerald. Greens and browns painted a path leading up to a hill, while a voice with no body began to weave it's tale.

"Once upon a time, there stood a lonely tower..." Smoke surrounds Emerald, only to be swatted away by Hazel. He could clearly see a tower in the distance, but his attention became focused on the sound of metal boots behind him. He turned to see a man with tanned skin and brown hair, looking determinedly forward in his thick, metal armor. "...with a princess to be rescued by a gallant knight."

Cinder stepped closer to the knight.

"Named... Ozma."

Reversal Nova

(Here is what I have created so far in my Reverse AU)

A alternate universe where the roles are swapped, whether for the better or the worse...

Sonic: Dr. Boom, a hedgehog skilled in speed and mechanics. He was actually a kid, Robotnik took under his wing. He had a natural talent for inventing and machinery, but Dr. Boom saw potential in power such as the chaos emeralds to advance the machines, Robotnik didn't approve of this answer terminated all Dr.Boom's work. Feeling betrayed, the Hedgehog ran away and turned against the world that deemed him unworthy to advance it to a era of peace and freedom.

Shadow: Nocturnal Eye, partner of Dr. Boom and Leader of the alien race: Black Arms, on the planet. He seems relatively harmless to the unsuspecting eye, but he is a master of illusion and chaos energy.

Tails: Dr. Cosmos, a fellow technician and mechanical genius who sides with Dr. Boom. His machinery is known to be quite efficient and reliable, a master of words and creating machines that act as mimics around other mobians. Truly a terrifying feat for someone of his age.

Amy: Vermillion, Teller of the Future and Leader of the "Rosebuds" a group of warriors who can see into the future and protect the present to prevent disasters from occurring.

Eggman: Ivo Robotnik, Hero of Station City and the world as a whole, uses his mechanical prowess and power of lightning to defend the innocent from the hands of Dr. Boom and other villains that follow suit. Has a short patience and can be easy to annoy with petty insults tho.

Rouge: Carmine, guardian of the Master Emerald, and last of the Bat Treasure Hunters, a tribe of bats that would hunt treasure and steal from the rich to give to the poor. Has to deal with an annoying an Echidna that is also a treasure hunter with a strange connection to the emerald and tries to take it for himself.

Knuckles: Titian, an independent echidna treasure hunter, skilled in many forms of combat and is quite a people person, he has fierce personality which causes him to bump heads alot with Carmine, all he wants is understand why he feels so drawn to the Master Emerald, sure he always takes the Chaos Emeralds but that isn't the case this time, if only he could get Carmine to believe that.

Silver: Ivory, a prince from an alternate dimension that tends to interlap with Robotnik's, when it does, he tends to stick around and offer aid where he can with the help of his powers of ice.

Blaze: Lustre, a time traveler from the distant future that is both in distress and at peace given its destroyed state, has the power of Umbrakinesis and Aerokinesis, allowing her to use wind and darkness together to create bendable space matter for combat

Metal Ivo: A robot version of Robotnik created by Dr. Boom, a silent robot but he very much as attitude towards his enemies

Infinite: Zero the Jackal, member of the Rosebuds. He is able to harness the power of the purple chaos emerald and create illusions as a distraction while he disarms his opponents. Joined the squad because he is in search of his missing partner, Gadget the Wolf, who disappeared several years ago

Surge: Beryl the Tenrec, another member of the Rosebuds and childhood friend of Vermillion, knows why she created the Rosebuds and sticks by her through it all. Is raising a younger brother she adopted in all this chaos, and can harness the powers of lightning

Scourge: Jules Terios Hedgehog, Dr. Boom's twin brother, he fights on the side of the heroes and is the main reason Dr. Boom truly hasn't killed anyone yet and why no one tries to kill Dr. Boom. Jules hopes one day he'll get his twin back

Eclipse: Arcane "The Ultimate Hope" , the Nocturnal Eye's aka Spectre's younger brother. Created by Nocturnal Eye's hands, Arcane is symbolized as a beacon of hope, not only for Spectre and the Black Arms on the planet, but also for Dr. Boom. He is torn as he wishes to live life on the planet but is bound by his duty to his older brother.

Maria: Maria R. Lunae, a woman of unknown origins. No one knows who she is or where she came from, all they know is her research revolves around the Black Arms, protecting the leader that resides on the planet and a young alien from the Black Arms that tries to blend in with society (Eclipse)

Hi!

So, I decided to do a little something-something to motivate myself to create art and/or write. Part of this something-something also happens to involve my favorite X-Men: Evolution ship of all time 😚.

i'm not a big fan of removing powers/attributes from canon to go with regular ol' humans, humans, and more humans au's. i'm just not. might be that i'm not a fan of humans as a species in general but the overhumanification of every damn character can tend to bug me

if we knew any aliens/alternate species/evolved homo races in real life? it'd be considered race/species swapping no question, which can also be done fine and i don't mind artists exploring, but still just not a big fan of it from a personal perspective

i can read them fine and even love an au when well done~<3! but if i'm writin' a humans au, you can bet your ass i'ma give them powers at some point (i probably won't do it for legit aliens like kal-el ever tho)<3<3<3

How to "diversify" Scooby-Doo without sucking out its entire soul--and the audience's souls with it

So as the entire internet already knows, HBO's Velma was a major flop. The only views it's getting are hate views. Conservatives find it hilarious because leftists are trolling themselves by accusing the show creators of being secret right-wing trolls. Well, if they are, they're bloody brilliant.

The premise of the show was never, "What if Mystery Inc. were more diverse?" It was always, "What if Mystery Inc. were super woke? Also, what if we sexualized characters aged 15-17 and targeted exclusively audiences over 18?" So really, the show's creators shouldn't be so baffled as to why even their target audience hates their show. I guess this goes to show that when you buy the lie that reason is "too white" to be permissible, you predictably start to act like an idiot.

But what if I told you that there was already a canonically established means of "diversifying" the cast in a way that actually retains the spirit of the original show?

The series finale of Mystery Incorporated revealed that that show and every previous iteration of Scooby-Doo is canon to the others (yes, this does include the live action films, so take that as you will). It also implied that all future iterations of the franchise will be canon as well. This provides the single most perfect opportunity to explore what Mystery Inc. would be like if they were from other races, ethnic backgrounds, nations and even planets. It would present different reimaginings of the characters in a natural, creative way that the audience would just eat up. All you would have to do is create a series where Mystery Inc. explores the multiverse and meets a variety of alternate selves. Just think of it. You could have...

a Japanese or Korean Mystery Inc. that flanderizes the heck out of every anime trope (and they 100% have permission to turn the tables on us)

an African, Afro-Caribbean or African American Mystery Inc.

a South/Southeast Asian Mystery Inc. with a MUCH less sexualized and angry version of the above woke Velma

an alien version of Mystery Inc., with lots of opportunity for worldbuilding

a version of Mystery Inc. from a completely different time period, such as the Victorian era

a Rule 63 version of Mystery Inc.

a version of Scooby that corresponds to the largest dog breed in each of the above cultures/universes

There would be no need to make each iteration of the gang particularly diverse within the gang itself, unless they were temporarily mixing up members across the multiverse to accomplish a mission (e.g. the Japanese team swaps out their Daphne for the original, or the alien team borrows the original Shaggy and sends theirs with another team). No one cares if a particular AU team is comprised of only black members, and in fact it helps sell the idea that this is the same team from a completely different universe. To reiterate, the Scooby gang does not need tokens!

Of course, the real key to making a good Scooby-Doo show is simple:

Absolutely NO virtue signaling!

It won't kill you to simply tell good stories with good humor and beloved characters. In fact, you'll probably find people actually love your work. If you do it right, audiences might even start begging for a spin-off focusing on one of the guest teams.

crack Lu au idea (from a very tired rae)

a Tokyo mew mew au

So like, basic premise:

the chain (who are at least mostly unrelated to/don’t know each other) becomes a Magical Girl team to fight the aliens/the monsters attacking the city (castle town?)

each of them gets animal dna from a creature from their respective games

the cafe is run by the goddesses time is a baker/manager while the boys switch between kitchen and server jobs (eight servers for one small cafe is a bit much I think)

The bois themselves are mostly in high school, with wind in middle and time being a Married Adult and is still Dad Age compared to the rest

Most direct character role swaps off the top of my head: - wind takes Bu-ling/pudding’s place looking after gran and Aryll - warriors takes zakuro’s place -hyrule takes retasu’s place and I’m not sure who would take ichigo and minto’s places

Everything would need to be adjusted to better fit the chain and their personalities. I don’t picture any romance aspected being involved since it would be a focus on team-as-family, and I don’t know if there would be any one “main character” since they would all deserve to have some spotlight (but wind is my favorite so knowing me it’d probably end up wind-centric)

it’s probably be demise/ganon behind the attacks, with the shadow in place of quiche. But it could also be fun to swap in other villain characters like griahim or Vaati. Maybe get spicy and do a villain redemption for some of them

Marsha’s character would be swapped for a fairy companion like Navi, Proxi, or Ciela. Like either a rotation/team of the fairy companions or a fully new one.

I’m not sure if the chain would have gone on their respective adventures before any of this, but I think it would be cool. No idea how to blend them all together without them knowing each other though. Maybe instead of different eras it’s different neighboring kingdoms/countries? Idk.

now for the animals for the bois: - twilight has his wolf form or ordon goat - legend has his rabbit form, but it would be fun to explore other options for him - sky would totally get remlit. While loftwing could be really cool, I think sky fits remlit much better. (Plus the loftwings can still exist in this au. I like them too much to just remove them) - wind’s games don’t have that many animals that aren’t sentient races, so that leaves pigs and kargarok. Kargarok I think would be best. For the angst potential and air connection - four would get minish. I know they’re a race and not an animal, but a sorta minish form is too good of an opportunity to pass up. Could add multiple tails to represent the colors like my in progress minish form design - similarly hyrule could get fairy, but if the Masha equivalent is a fairy that wouldn’t make much sense. I don’t know much about his games so I’m not sure what other options there are. - warriors is a similar issue. I don’t know what animals are in his games, though something like a horse might be interesting? A lion or peacock could be fun, but I really want to stick with in-game animals. - wild has a lot of animals to pick from. Though I’m leaning towards bear or deer. a bug or lizard might be cool too if there are any that fit with Wild’s personality. (I’m not including totk here because I haven’t played it yet and want as little spoiled as possible before I do) - time is giving me some trouble too. I haven’t played any of his games. Maybe something based on his masks? Like a great fairy or deku scrub? (Again with the sentient species vs regular animal problem that hyrule and four have) definitely should be something forest-related to tie back to the kokiri/growing up in a magic forest thing.

all of their weapons with either be their respective swords, or a unique one from each of their games

“These guys.. there Uh.., a lot bigger than you,”

Estelle looked up at Namjoon, eyes wide. He was what humans called a half cast, born from a human parent and another species. His pointed ears stuck out from his silver hair, a pair of purple eyes conflicting his tan skin.

“How much bigger?” Estelle asked as they walked through the corridor, “Should I be worried?”

“No, no!” Namjoon shook his head, “Females typically get to be about seven foot, males can be as tall as nine foot,”

“Nine feet tall?!” Estelle swallowed thickly, “Oh..,”

Different species had different characteristics, Estelle knew this. She specialised in a autonomy based biology and culture studies, which is why she was a perfect for bridging with new species and planets.

“But they’ve never seen a human before,” Namjoon explained, “You’ll be a first,”

“To be fair, humans are a dying race,” Estelle frowned, “We seem to be intergrading with more species, only twenty percent of the human popular is fully human,”

“Can’t say it’s a bad thing, humans are idiots,” Namjoon shrugged, “You’ll be meeting with one of our other connectors, Kyra, she’ll hook you up with everything you need,”

Estelle nodded as she stepped into the inner doors. The equipment required for this mission included a breathing mask, the air in the planet wasn’t safe for full humans.

As she slipped it over her face, turning on the compressor and taking a few deep breaths, the outer doors opened.

Most of the planet was covered in forest, the species here connected with the world around them and respected the planet. Estelle could admire it, it was something humans never did.

Kyra was a bit taller than her, bright red hair and large green eyes for seeing in the dark. Her planet had eighteen months of darkness and two months of light, which made up what was their year.

She was bioluminescent, her hair and spots coming to life in the dark.

“Wow, you humans really are plain!” Kyra laughed.

Estelle smiled, “Yeah, it’s nice to meet you,”

Kyra had a wicked smile on her lips, “I’m guessing Joonie gave you the run down?”

“Something like that..,” Estelle mumbled as she watched the way the flowers swayed in the wind.

“Yeah well, just remember that if that little mask of yours comes off, you got two minutes before your dead,” Kyra explained, “Ready to meet them?”

She nodded, following the girl down to the village. It seemed cozy enough, the houses were massive compared to the smallness Estelle was used to on Earth.

Everything was hand made by the people, a tiny smile on her face as she watched as people shared and swapped their belongings and needs.

“Way of life is a give and take experience,” Kyra explained, “Just be careful though, these guys get real defensive over their mates,”

“Oh right, I forget they have a mating connection,” Estelle murmured, “But it seems nice over all-“

“Human!”

Estelle was surprised to be hoisted up in the air, held up as a tall male held her. He had dark hair and yellow eyes, canines coming from his mouth.

“I’ve seen your kind in books! You guys really are tiny! But why are you so pale? And why is your hair yellow?”

“Hoseok, put her down!” Kyra lectured the male, “She’s fragile too!”

“What’s fragile?” Hoseok asked curious.

“You’ll crush her before she can even conceive what’s happening,”

The male that had spoke had a gruff voice, an annoyed look on his face as he stood behind Hoseok. He had the same black hair and yellow eyes, long pointed ears and a scar over his left eye.

He was a little bit shorter than Hoseok but still massive compared to both herself and Kyra. Estelle gulped as she was placed down, the male looking down at her.

Something about him was both comforting and intimidating.

“Hello,” She spoke softly, “I’m Estelle,”

All she got was a slight glare before he turned and walked towards one of the buildings, a long tail swishing behind him as he went.

“That’s Yoongi,” Kyra explained, “He and Hoseok are the clan leaders here, sworn in like their fathers before them and their fathers before that-“

“He likes you,” Hoseok’s voice laughed.

“Pardon?” Estelle looked at the tall male.

“Normally he hisses, screeches and runs off when he meets new people,” Hoseok grinned, “Believe me, he likes you,”

shout out to the time i had to write, like, an epilogue or prologue for a novel assignment for english about two years ago and made it so the novel i had to read was a continuation of invader zim in the distant future

but i didn't explicitly make it that, oh no, i was too embarrassed by that, so i made: an alien character that's *totally not zim* named "xin" (actually xin came from a name i made for zim in an au i had where he gets fed up and competent. my ideas for that got... big), a character named "deo" that's *totally not dib*, a character named "grace" that's *totally not gaz*, deo's mom *totally* not being a gender-swapped professor membrane, and the alien race "urgin" that are *totally not irkens*

made the main character of the novel a distant relative of """deo""", wherin i made an oc named vae who was """deo"""'s close friend in war. they didn't have any romantic feelings whatsoever but they wanted to save humanity or some shit so they had a set of twins

i'm looking over my notes to get the names and crap and damn wtf is this

I actually only originally planned for the first one last night, but as I got ready for bed, my mind said “Hey, what if Keith and Pidge were Galra and Thace and Ulaz were humans?” Yeah... so... I have both versions. I swear I cook with lots of wine, not drink it. My mind is just... always strange. There can be mix and match, too, with all as humans or as Galra, or whatever, but I’m not going through and editing everything. So! Enjoy these two.

I had often thought about how pale Ulaz looks compared to other Galra we see and I had seen somewhere about someone speculating him being like an albino. So! I took to making him an albino for this. I like albino-human!Ulaz. And his marks on his scalp being tattoos look cool!

Good gods... now my mind is running in circles and thinking of other AUs. Where is the off button to my brain? Or are you guys looking for the overdrive button? Do you guys even enjoy the varying AU ideas?
