MORE EX BF BAKUGO STUFFS PLSSSSSS
actually my fav trope it’s an illness 🙈
*incoming call from kirishima*
is the notification lighting up your screen.
it’s 3am, is what the clock is telling you as you crack an eye open while groaning.
“fuck.” you whine as you grab your phone, sliding your thumb to the answer button.
“hello?” you croak, still tired from sleep.
you hear an uneasy sigh from the other line.
“uhm. hey yn. it’s kirishima.” he says.
you can hear the urgency in his voice even though he’s desperately trying to hide it.
“hi kirishima. why are you calling me?” you say as politely as you can for it being 3 in the morning.
“i know it’s late, i’m sorry. bakugou got in an accident, it’s bad.” he says and your heart drops.
“that sucks, i’m sorry. we’re broken up though. so uh… what does this have to with me?” you ask timidly.
“is that her? let me fucking talk to her!” you hear the voice of your ex boyfriend in the background.
“i don’t want to talk to him.” you say calmly.
you hear a sigh from the other end followed by a ‘hang on’.
“i know. the situation is complicated though, can you let me explain?” he asks and you can hear the pleads in his tone.
you pause before speaking.
“…alright fine.” you breathe.
“thanks. bakugou man im going in the bathroom for a second!” he calls to katsuki.
you hear rustling and shouting before the click of a doorknob.
“okay. he needs you.” he says slowly, cautiously.
“kirishima-“ you frown.
“i know.” he cuts in.
“we got attacked by villains today and he got hit with a memory loss quirk.”
“so… what does he remember?” you whisper.
“pretty much everything important. except…”
you stay silent while you wait in anticipation for his response.
“the breakup.”
your breath hitches.
“kirishima, open the fucking door! i need to talk to her!”
you can hear the pounding.
the pounding on the door.
along with the pounding of your heart in your ears.
“yn. he needs you. i know this is awful to ask of you. we don’t know how long this will last and in his mind, the love of his life is refusing to see him after he’s been injured. please come. please.”
the pounding continues.
“yn! baby, can you hear me? what did i do?? just let me talk to you. kirishima let me talk to her!”
he’s pleading through the door. like he was on your last night together.
“fuck. fine. i’ll be there in ten but i want all of you to delete my number after this.” you say as you rip the covers off your body in annoyance.
Tumblr media
you walk up the stairs of your ex boyfriends apartment building, where you left your heart six months ago.
you knock on the door and kirishima half opens it, restricting you from bakugou.
“hey. thank you for this.” he says, quietly.
you switch your weight on your feet and glance at you hands.
“yeah… what do i need to do exactly?” you sigh.
kirishima clears his throat awkwardly.
“well. knowing him he will probably kick me out so it’ll just be the two of you. since he has no memory he’ll probably act however he would after a fight with you.” he replies.
“so he’s going to kiss and hug me?” you frown, raking a hand through your hair.
kirishima sighs before the two of you hear loud footsteps, barreling towards you.
“baby?! hey, what did i do? hm? come inside.” bakugou mumbles out, reaching for your arms.
you smile weakly before you’re being pulled into the apartment by your wrist.
he brings the two of you to sit on the couch and you look at kirishima.
“act natural!” he mouths to you.
“hey, suki.” you softly say, nickname foreign on your tongue.
“did we get in a fight?” he asks.
you gulp, playing with your fingers.
“yeah. kind of.” you reply.
he huffs to himself.
“i cant fucking remember. i still cant. damn quirk should’ve worn off by now.” he glares at his coffee table, arms crossed.
you hesitate but eventually place your hand on his back, rubbing comforting circles into his skin.
he looks at you softly.
“can we fight tomorrow when i remember? just wanna sleep with you.” he whispers, frown present on his face.
you sigh, taking a moment to think to yourself.
“okay, katsuki.” you smile wearily.
he leans forward to press soft kisses to your lips.
you exhale into the kiss, bringing your hand up to cup his face.
he shift to kiss down your neck before nuzzling into it.
“okay guys, i’m still here.” kirishima says awkwardly.
you laugh lightly and katsuki frowns at him.
“are you stayin over?” katsuki asks. he’s familiar with kirishima needing to stay the night after dangerous missions. his own home seeming too empty and dark.
kirishima nods and katsuki stands from the couch, pulling you with him.
“night.” the boys say to each other as kirishima settles on the couch and katsuki pulls you to his room.
you look behind you and kirishima sends you a comforting smile.
as soon as the door shut behind the two of you, you felt katsukis hands under your arms until he tosses you on his bed.
you laugh lightly, your mind feeding you bittersweet memories of moments just like this one.
katsuki crawls up the bed until he reaches your stomach, flopping down onto you and burying his face into your shirt.
“hi.” you say sweetly.
soon your shirt is lifted and he’s pressing open mouthed kisses into your skin.
“hi. ‘m sorry we fought. love you.” he mumbles, lifting himself on his forearms and crawling higher up on your body.
you nod. failing to reciprocate his love.
he frowns and sucks the skin under your collarbone.
“love you.” he repeats again, frown on his face.
“kats-.” you whine, voice breaking.
“what’s going on? was our fight bad?” he soothes, rubbing circles into your cheek with his thumb.
you feel your tears bubble over as you nod.
going to wipe your tears before he could see them. he beat you to it, kissing them away then pressing a warm kiss to your temple.
“it’s over now, yeah?” he asks.
you whimper and tuck your face into his neck.
“i want it to be but when your memory comes back you’re gonna leave me again.” you cry, fisting his shirt while tripping over your words.
he shushes you, bringing a hand to the back of your head and scratching your back.
“it’s okay, sweet thing. we’re okay.” he whispers against your neck.
“just go to sleep, yeah?”
you nod hesitantly and katsuki rolls onto his back with you clinging on.
you cuddle up sweetly on his chest and he scratches your back until you drift off.
Tumblr media
“are we broken up?” katsuki asks shakily.
kirishima turns to see katsuki standing in the doorway.
“uhhhh. i don’t think you and me were ever together.” kirishima laughs uncomfortably.
“you know what i fucking mean.”
kirishima groans, dragging a hand down his face.
“i’m trying to stay out of this.” he frowns.
bakugou clenches his fists.
“i deserve to know.”
“katsuki?” you call from the bedroom.
“you’re telling me tomorrow.” he frowns at kirishima.
kirishima nods in reply and katsuki walks back into the bedroom.
“hi sweets.” he smiles, climbing into bed with you and kissing your neck.
you scratch at the base of his hairline in appreciation.
“why’d you go?” you ask softly.
he knows you’re trying not to sound scared.
even though you both know you were a little tense.
“my memory’s still gone.” he smiles, giving you soft kisses.
“just needed some water.” he says against your lips.
“mmm.” you hum into the kiss, relief washing over you.
“let’s lay down, yeah?”
Tumblr media
“let’s lay down, yeah?”
“i cant.” you sputter, gasping through sobs.
his hands are on your face, wiping your tears with his thumbs.
you shake your head while stepping back, using your hands to push at his chest.
“baby.” he reasons.
“you can’t call me that.” you whine.
“i love you so much, just sleep here with me.” he pleads.
you wrap your hands around his wrists and tug his hand from your face harshly.
“is that you talking? or the commission?” you say coldly.
his face turns solemn, allowing his arms to drop.
“i just want you to be safe.” he whispers.
you fist his shirt.
“you keep me safe.” you cry, tears flowing freely.
he wraps his arms around you, tightly.
“the commission doesn’t think so, sweets.” he replies, his own eyes filling with tears.
Tumblr media
you watch as the love of your life’s memory comes back.
and he watches while yours fill with tears.
you grab onto his shirt with the tightest grip you can muster.
“please don’t go, katsu.” you whimper.
his face morphs into the familiar face that plagues your dreams.
“no.” you plead.
“no. no. no.”
he drops his head so his face is in your neck.
“i need you safe. you’re not safe when you’re with me.” you feel tears on your neck.
“i don’t wanna be safe. i want you.”
he brings his head up to look at you.
“i want you too.” you smile through your tears at his words.
he kisses your cheeks softly.
“but we can’t be together, baby. at least not for now.” he says, pressing his forehead to yours.
the two of your cry together, entangled in each others embraces.
until you fall asleep, dried tears on your faces and his lips on your forehead.

𝐚 𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 paramedic!reader x prohero!bakugo
a/n: happy birthday the love of my life, the light of my mornings, and the stars of my dusk @kiyelle ! i'm posting this a lil earlier, but i hope you have an amazing birthday sweetheart; i'm so glad we're close and i can't wait to visit you in paris and go to the olympics with you <33 tw. blood, injuries, swearing, hospitals, needle mention
Tumblr media
bakugo’s back slammed into a wall, and his head snapped backward, knocking against the concrete. blood ran down his forehead into his eyes, clouding his vision into a blur of red.
heaving in an agonising breath, bakugo ran through every situation and possible action available. his injuries were bad but the villain wasn’t in the greatest shape either; bakugo wasn’t going to let himself reach this level of damage without bringing them down with him too. so if he could just get the fuck up, he could finally crush the pesky bastard into a bloody pulp.
but just as his hands began warming up, through the ringing of his ears bakugo heard muted sounds of a fight starting up again behind the screen of smoke. his hands went cold. there weren’t any other heroes on duty nearby, and if they were, they definitely weren't strong enough to take on this calibre of villain.
bakugo gritted his teeth, and cursed at whichever dumb extra came and interrupted the battle, adding on another risk factor that bakugo has to keep in mind.
“stay still.” a stern voice came from beside him, and bakugo started, head whipping to the source of the voice.
“i said stay still.” you punctuated with a snarl. “you’re critically injured. stay down. shoto is here and taking care of the villain.”
he recognised you. even through the crimson blurring his vision and even through the ringing in the ears, he recognised you. and his blood boiled at the sight.
“i’m fine.” bakugo snapped, jerking himself away from your precise hands assessing his injuries. the sudden movement elicited a hiss, a stabbing pain blooming in his chest.
“no, dynamight.” you always say his name with such venom. each syllable like a slap to his face. “you’re not. several ribs broken, possibly a punctured lung, a dislocated shoulder, and a concussion are only just some of your injuries.”
bakugo clenched his jaw and his ruby eyes burned into your own obstinate ones. he knew each and every thing you said was correct and his nostrils flared at the thought.
“so shut the fuck up, let me do my work, and you can go on your merry way as fast as possible because trust me, we all want that. got it?” you stare at him, a brow raised just waiting for him to combat your words.
if icy hot truly was here, then in reality, the battle was already over. bakugo was sure all civilians were evacuated, and that the villain was damaged just enough that one more grapple would have ended it.
“hurry up shitty woman.” his eyes tore from yours, and he looked forward, refusing to acknowledge you. as soon as he gave his consent, you started working, hands moving with a practised fluency. he respected your skills and what you did, but bakugo didn’t miss (and definitely didn’t appreciate) the colourful mumbling underneath your breath, most likely aimed at him.
as you tried to staunch the blood loss from the various gashes that you could see on his body, you could tell he was losing blood worryingly fast. his eyes, however razor focused they usually were when you would watch him on the television, were losing focus, and his pupils were dilated, the inky blank eating up the burning crimson.
“dynamight.” you make eye contact. “the ambulance is right around the corner. my colleagues know our location and are coming with a stretcher and you’ll be in a hospital in no time.” you speak clearly and concisely, gently guiding him to lay down on his back, and preparing a tourniquet. “just focus on your breathing.”
his laboured breaths grew rhythmic, and his eyes fluttered to a close. as his vision grew black, he could hear your voice calling over more paramedics, and as he lost consciousness the last thing he felt was the cool gentle touch of your palm on his forehead, pushing back the blonde strands stuck to his sweaty skin.
Tumblr media
the ringing in his ears were dull now. his head felt like it was stuffed full of cotton, and he could barely feel his limbs. bakugo tried to sit up with a grunt, but was immediately shut down with a firm hand to his chest. “nu-uh, you’re not going anywhere. especially not with those injuries.”
bakugo prepared to bare his teeth at whoever dared to stop him, but as his eyes laid on you, his eyebrows shot up in surprise. you didn't usually stay with him until he woke up. usually you just storm into the aftermath of his battles, and cuss at him until he stands down to let you treat him. that doesn’t always work, unfortunately for you. but when he does, you just leave and disappear as quickly as you came.
“the hell are you doing here?” bakugo rasps, each breath still a symphony of pain.
“making sure my patient is ok.” you cross your arms, eyes drifting over to look outside the window beside his hospital bed. “you were pretty wrecked by that villain. got me worried for a second there.” you frowned, and bakugo noticed the stiffness in your posture.
he coughed out a breath of laughter. “as if i would let some puny shit-stain of a villain like that take me down.”
at those words, a burst of laughter erupted from you, and bakugo paused. he doesn’t think he’s ever heard you laugh like that before. maybe the rare exhale of air from your nose as he swears at you from your many previous encounters, but never like this.
“that’s true.” you concede, and get up from where you were sat next to him. bakugo’s ruby eyes track your every movement as you go to slide open the door of his ward “I’ll go get your nurse. try not to scare them off-“
“thank you.”
you freeze, you’re hand resting light against the doorhandle. you had to question whether you imagined hearing those words as you turn to look at the bed ridden pro hero.
“sorry?”
“you heard me.” bakugo looked stonily ahead of him, refusing to meet your eyes.
a smile crept on to your lips. so he finally decided to show some gratitude; it only took him about three life or death situations. oh, you were going to remember this for a very very long time. and by the grimaced look on his face, he knew exactly that.
“hm sorry dynamight,” his jaw clenched and his fists tightened at the way you said his name. “i didn’t quite catch that.” you hum tapping a finger against your chin comically with the most infuriating smile bakugo has ever seen.
“get your hearing checked then dipshit i’m not repeating myself.”
“that what you say to the person who saved your life?”
“i already said thank you now fuck off.”
you laugh softly to yourself; even when in a hospital bed, completely immobile with countless tubes and needles stuck inside of him is he still an annoying brat.
“don’t miss me too much.” you give him a two finger salute, and as you turn to leave, you just miss the ruby stare that flick over to you, and linger even as the door slides to a close.

Hi! How are you? I'm not sure if you're okay with angst but I am in a dark place right now. TW! Death of a animal.
Last Thursday, I had to make the toughest decision of my life. My dog of 12 years who I loved dearly was suffering with fluid surrounding her heart and lungs. She was dying in my hands at the vet and there was nothing I could do to save her except putting her to sleep. I'm still 19 and my parents didn't want anything to do with it so I made the call right there and then. It still haunts me seeing her dying in front of my eyes and I just would really love if...I don't know have a Bakugo X Reader where he comforts and helps reader through this tough time... Maybe moments where she comes home and from the happy barking she got used to nothing, or when she gets up for a glass to drink she goes to pet her and there's nothing.
If not, It's okay and I hope you have a wonderful night/day! :)
Oh gosh! You got lost in my inbox bby I'm so sorry :(
I hope I'm not too late to make you feel a little better, and I hope you can forgive me for taking so long :(((
I put your ask first in line to make as soon as I saw it <3
Masterlist <3
Warning: Death of an animal...
Bakugou x Reader - Because she's not here
Tumblr media
It felt so unbelievably... empty.
Losing her wasn't something you had expected, and it had been so sudden. You didn't even have enough time to say goodbye.
You had taken your dog to the vet for a checkup just because she had been acting a little... down. She was no longer as active and excitable, choosing instead to cuddle with you and spend most of her time laying down.
You thought maybe she had an infection, or the food just wasn't good enough for her, but when you found out there and then just how much pain she was in, the only choice you had was to let her go.
It was hard.
Seeing her eyes open for that last time... It was never something you thought you would have to see.
That night, you came home without your best friend.
You walked home in the cold, staring at the floor in front of you and, you don't remember when you got to your front door but suddenly you were there, key in hand as you prepare to spend your first night without her.
Your stomach and your chest hurt, and you couldn't even swallow through the lump in your throat as you rest you back against your now closed door, not even bothering to make it to the bedroom before sliding down to the floor.
The tears just wouldn't stop, not that you even tried to stop them yourself. Theres no wet nose pressing into your palm while you pet her, and there's no happy panting or the scrape of her nails against hardwood floor. It was just emty.
A part of your life is missing, and you don't even know how you could go on without her.
After a few hours of crying into your hands, mourning the loss of a part of your family, you finally get the courage to pull out your nearly-dead phone to call your boyfriend.
He answers immediately. It's currently 11pm.
"Babe?..."
It sounds like he's just woken up, but you know you can't do this without him, so you press on. He knows there must be something wrong for you to be calling this late.
Maybe it's just the exhaustion of crying so intensely, and the dull but heavy and painful pressure of heartbreak that's worn you down enough for you to call your boyfriend this late, but you need him, and he would never dream of refusing you.
The second you stutter out what's happened, he's already put the door, and he has to fight back his own tears so that he can be there for you. He had grown quite attached to her during the years he had been dating you, and had treated her like his own family.
"Shit-. Babe, ah- i-it's gonna be okay. You hear me? Oh-..."
Another wave of grief washes over you and you draw in a shaky breath, crying in big, uncontrollable sobs as your phone sits on the floor next to you.
That night, he holds you close and lets you cry into his chest until you have no more tears to give, and you pass out in his arms while he strokes your hair.
-
The next few days has Bakugou essentially living with you. He's there to greet you after work and to keep you company while you both grieve the loss of your friend.
It's so hard to come home, and you know you wouldn't be able to without Bakugou there, because it's just too soon to be face to face with the obvious emptiness of your apartment.
He helps you face it though, and he helps you move on. You couldn't ask for a better partner.
Through his tough exterior, he really does look after you, making sure to be there everytime you go to stroke your dog, only for nothing to be there, and every time you expect to be greeted by padded paws and a jumpy dog when you come back, he's there to say hello with a kiss and a hug.
This is how the two of you ended up living together.
You just weren't made to be alone. It's the one thing you're truly afraid of. Not the dark, not the boogeyman, not spiders, just the thought that you could truly be alone one day.
So he moved in with you, and it made it just a little easier to cope now that you had some more company, and someone to cuddle when you felt alone.
Together, you both tried to move on, and although the pain never really goes away, it's just a little easier to go on.

You seem to have a really good grasp of Bakugo's character, and his character flaws in the story. Although it's more of a theory than a criticism, I was wondering if I could run something by you, a thought I had that would make Bakugo's character make a little more sense.
What if all of the inconsistency in bakugo is intentional? Like what if the truth of Bakugo's goals and arc, and his decisions was all to get one thing? One For All
Because Bakugo knows OFA can be given, he partially knew because izuku told him, then (for some reason!) All might told him everything else confirming that. Though the second bnha movie is only kind of canonical, I always found it weird how bakugo didn't remember anything about getting OFA, and judging by the dialogue had no intention of even attempting to give it back to izuku.
Bakugo seems to learn these valuable lessons and then goes back to doing the exact same thing, like you said in your post, which makes it not feel genuine. So like, what if it isn't genuine? And he was only acting like he needed to so he could get things the way he wanted them to be?
Bakugo isn't stupid, he's actually very perspective, not overly intelligent but it seems like he's always been pretty good at strategy. So at least to me it doesn't seem like it'd be that big of a stretch to think that bakugo would be smart enough to tell people what they want to hear when it matters, with the kid at the gang orca test, then to all might and midoriya.
And while it might seem his 'sacrifice' for izuku might debunk this theory, it's also true that bakugo has always been willing to sacrifice his body to win, like he himself said in the fight with izuku against all might. What if that sacrifice wasn't for izuku in the first place, but One For All?
I can't account for how all the other characters constantly cover for/praise him but the hero's side has never been good at not doing that, when it's someone that the heroes need, endeavor is proof of that. Maybe that's intentional too?
I'd really like to know what you think about this theory, if you think it's just too crazy or if it might have some merit. Thanks!
...You know, I kind of hate that I can't dismiss this instantly. Like, part of me started nodding before I even finished reading.
Let's separate 'What Hori Is Showing Us' Bakugou from 'what the hell a realistic person could be like' Bakugou for the purposes of this, because barring some truly unexpected, mind screwing levels of a turns table move, I honestly doubt that Hori is going to make the fan favorite, *gasp*, look bad, but that actually... makes a lot of sense?
...If we ignore how literally everyone else falls over themselves to praise him, like you said.
So, on the face of it, the obvious problem is that Bakugou's sin is Pride as much as Wraith, and he's canonly so damn stubborn he's willing to accept an obvious loss just so he doesn't look bad... ignoring that losing because you're too proud makes you look bad, but whatever, Bakugou logic. So not only would he be too proud to 'demean' himself to even get the Quirk, he's also too proud to even want that outside assistance of someone else's Quirk, because, Ra Ra, Bakugou is the best, he'll do everything himself, what the fuck ever.
The thing is, with that very incident, and with others, Bakugou did learn things, he did get it forced through his thick skull that he's not the top dog (granted, he now thinks he's second, and deep down part of him might even admit he's third or fourth, depending on the status of AFO and/or Shigaraki, but, again, Bakugou Logic(TM)). Moreover, it's been pounded into his head that Deku, the helpless, worthless nerd who could never be his equal, never even hope to reach the bottom of his shoes, has gone zero to hero just with the power of this Quirk, and through that alone he's close to equalling him, if not surpassing him, something he'd only admit in the darkest corner of his heart (again, we're ignoring: all the work Izuku has done on and off screen to improve himself, his actual fucking name, and that later on Izuku's power levels just... go fucking nuts, because this is from Bakugou's limited, prejudiced perspective, and this would have to happened before the power ups started, back when Izuku with a Quirk for less than a year was just rivaling Bakugou, who had his most his life).
Beyond that, there's also the fact that he's been an enormous All Might fanboy right until he started talking to him about OFA (and presumably learning he's a Mere Mortal, not worth Bakugou's precious time/respect, and also I'm still convinced Hori hates All Might's guts and so loves to make him seem pathetic at every possible opportunity), and as one fic put it, getting All Might's Quirk, even more than its absurd raw power, is in fact the ultimate piece of All Might merch. Even if it wasn't something he could tell the public (and we all know he'd tell the public at some point), the sheer status of having One For All, All Might's Quirk, has to be heady for someone in MHA's society, where All Might is the closest thing to a living god.
So, even in the face of his overwhelming pride, this, for the power and/or the prestige of it, is something I could see him lower himself to act humbled for, for a time. And that's the only major objection, from a character perspective, I could see to this kind of theory.
In the actual execution of it there are, of course, problems, as you've pointed out, but let's put that aside for the moment to think about how it'd go:
Bakugou, at this point in time, would have been getting more and more uneasy that a stupid 'Deku' is actually being real competition, and fast growing one at that. He also probably noticed that All Might was spending extra time with Izuku, which would piss him off... and then Kamino happened.
In the midst of all that emotional turmoil he realizes that Izuku was chosen over him, and, through that, the implication that that Quirk can be given. And it bugs him, that someone this unworthy can have something so great, so beyond him, when there are others more deserving.
And maybe that's not the exact time he comes up with this plan, but the seed of it is born from his discontent and that knowledge, and at some point between then and the exam, the first major time since then he has a big heroic moment, or even as he takes the make up, he comes up with an idea, as audacious as it is 'brilliant': what if he makes Izuku give him the Quirk?
Because Bakugou is smart (high Int, anyways, even if Wis is clearly his dump stat), and he's got to be aware that Izuku is only a few steps above suicidal, between his non-existent self worth and how he treats his body. As is, one day he'll get himself killed, or crippled to a point where heroic work is no longer feasible. And if that happens?
One For All would have to go to someone else, or else it would die with him, and Izuku would never let that happen, never let that heroic legacy die with him, let down his beloved mentor, as long as there was another option. And who better than his childhood friend?
Of course, even if he's truly refusing to admit fault, he's aware that All Might chose Izuku over him (indirectly, since All Might barely knew he existed before UA, and there's no reason for him to be considered as a candidate, but Bakugou Logic(TM)), for some reason. He also knows that driving Izuku away means he's less likely to be there when Izuku inevitably falls in battle, and that probably he's going to have be around Izuku more, and that he'll probably be a better candidate, when that time comes, if he behaves like Izuku, the kid who got All Might's Quirk.... for some reason.
Because, yeah, even if, intellectually, he gets that Izuku has traits All Might sees as desirable, as heroic, if he actually got it, understood it on a deeper, more emotional level that this is what it means to be a hero, he'd change his behavior in real ways, not performative ones. This theory revolves around, among other things, Bakugou understanding heroism at a similar level to AFO, who can predict it, generally, understands that 'this is what a hero would do in that situation', but doesn't understand why they would do that, and instead thinks they're all morons who refuse to work for their own best interests.
It says a lot that I don't think it's a big reach that Bakugou's moral understanding of heroism isn't that far from AFO's.
And so he starts to act.... and that's the point where the plan falls apart.
Because Bakugou maybe be smart (or 'smart'), but for all his many, many flaws, he's generally brutally honest about what he's feeling, and so I don't think he'd be good at deception. Sure, he gets the dramatic moments where he's like, 'Yeah, I'm being so heroic saving Deku!' or something, but he can't contain his constant, festering disdain for everyone around him, Izuku especially.
And that leads to the flaws of this theory: first, like you're aware of, that people should notice this, how he's acting, his utterly transparent contempt, even though they never, ever do, and thus ruin everything for him. The second is I honestly don't think he's patient enough to not blow it, to not just angrily shout, 'Damn it, Deku, give me All Might's Quirk already!' at some point when he inevitably loses his shit over someone breathing in his general vicinity or something.
So, do I think this is going to be canon? Never. Like I said, this would make Bakugou look absolutely awful, and we all know Hori will never allow that.
At the same time, though, I think this theory (which I'm calling 'One For Bakugou' in my mind, because it sounds entirely selfish and thus fits this perfectly) is the best, and only, explanation I've ever heard (beyond being tsundere), to explain how he acts in the later half of the story.

Best Written Character: I honestly really like Todoroki. He's a very realistic portrayal of an abuse victim with complex feelings towards his abuser. He despises endeavour and doesn't want to be like him in any way but, as we first see in the Endeavour and Hawks Vs Nomu fight, he doesn't want him to die. And most importantly, being an abuse victim isn't his entire character. He's awkward, spiteful, determined, he wants to be a hero, and he's kind.
It's only until the endeavour's 'redemption' became a thing that the writing becomes eugh yet again. That scene where Hori makes Izuku say that Shoto will forgive his abuser because he's a kind person? With Natsuo, who refuses to forgive his abuser, in hearing range?
Implying that an abuse victim that refuses to forgive their abuser is cruel? I HATED THAT MOMENT SO MUCH. It's old news at this point but it still bothers me.
So, long story short, imo Todoroki is the best written character. I'm not caught up with the manga, I read until the war arc maybe then stopped cuz I got bored, so this might have changed in later arcs, but I really loved his character, and the way the whole todoroki family conflict was handled! (Until Endeavour's 'redemption', ofc)
Worst Written Character: Lida. I LOVED LIDA SO MUCH. He's uptight and a stickler for the rules, but when push comes to shove in the Stain Arc we see that he's very passionate and stubborn and has a temper, and I was so excited to see more of him and maybe his brother and family and how to cope with tragedy and loss or a different perspective on a hero family that is actually healthy and the dynamics of it....and I got nothing. Lida got sidelined so that Bakugo could get more 'development'. I don't know if we get to focus on Lida in later arcs but as far as I know Hori gave us this character with so much potential...and then did nothing with him.
And now veering wildly off-topic, whenever I see art of Izuku, Lida, and Ochako as a trio replacing Izuku, Bakugo, and Todoroki, I get happy that Bakugo is getting shoved in the trash where he belongs, but I always feel bad for Shoto not being included anymore. Then I realized..why do we have to stick to 3? I get that trios are popular and all, but it's not like a quartet is bad. It'd need a bit more skill put into it but the end result would have been SO MUCH FUN, and now I've made myself mad again thinking of all the potential BNHA had...
I agree with you on Shoto. I think he’s one of the strongest and best written characters in the series.
Tenya’s a character I want to dive into on a further analysis because his character is an interesting case to me.

Revenge at The Sports Festival
Part 3 (FINAL PART)
Warnings: none!
WORD COUNT: 4.7K
Tumblr media
The echo of Aoyama's gym shoes running across the long hallway of the stadium bleacher entrance was the only thing he could hear right now. But the questions kept coming in his mind.
Why did she do this?
Is Mina her enemy or something? I see them hanging out and they looked like they get along well.
And, why did she choose to be moi? She knows she can't use my quirk or anybody else's to be exact.
Does she have my strength as well as my speed or is that all? But she did look stunning though...
He takes a sharp turn and slows down his pace as he sees the light of the entrance glowing before him as one last question approached his conscience:
Why is she avenging me? She..can't be attracted to me,right?
Aoyama returns to the bleachers his class were in. As he walks down the steps, Midoriya spots him first and waves at him and signals for him to join the class again. Smiling, he goes back to his seat but not until he saw the sight of you in his perfect form being strangled in Mina's headlock. Growling and struggling to pry yourself out of her grasp. You wanted to throw her on her back like Midoriya did with Shinsou but the headlock was preventing you from doing so. The audience was going nuts of how this match has progressed to be a full on fist fight.
"Wow! Ashido has y/n in a headlock very similar to Midoriya's when he slammed Shinsou out of bounds, will the clone of Aoyama use his or her head to find a way out of this situation or will she be slammed backwards along with Ashido herself?" Present Mic narrates excitedly. Aizawa seeing the view from above, notices this is yet another one of your decisions has turned for the worst. "Come on Aoyama, you can do it." he encourages as MIc interrupts,"Uh, didn't you mean y/n,Eraser?". He realizes his mistake and rephrases himself,
"You can do this y/n, just..use your head okay?"
"You're..going down! And you're...going down..with me!" Mina growled while she tries to lift you off the ground, preparing to slam you. Your strength was slowly decreasing as you felt a dull ache in your legs. This was it. You didn't want it to end this way, why couldn't you just leave her alone? But it was Aoyama, he was the one who got caught up with here in the previous match and got hit with her savage moves.
This angered you again as you lowly grumbled,"I'll be damned-urgh!--if I'm going down with you..for what you did to him, that was so cheap of how you knocked him out,"
Mina glared at you angrily but her head was the opposite, trying to put the pieces together in her mind while you continued with your struggled speech.
"...this was why I challenged you, because YOUR LOSS WILL BE THE SAME!!"
"Huh?!"
Smack! You threw the back of your head into the front of MIna's head, immediately loosening her grip on you as you slid out of it and straight stomped on her footwhile she was trying to recover from the injury, but howled at the pain you inflicted right after the headbutt. Finally you stopped her from moving as a malicious smile lit your pretty, scathed face. It's payback time.
"Uh, why is she smiling like that?, that's not very Aoyama of her, right Midoriya?" Tokoyami asks in concern turning hhis bird-like head to the green haired boy. Midoriya sat in silence until his irises shrunk as he lightly gasped. He muttered to himself, "Y/n is going to make Ashido her personal punching bag. She's going to hit her repeatedly until she's completely immobilized and now that she has her foot held for ground she can't move at allwhich comes to the final conclusion if Ashido can use her hands. but due to the colission to her head, there's a big chance that she might lose. Y/n planned this all along whilst being emotionally in peril."
Bakugo sneers at Midoriya and then yells at him, "Damn Deku!! You couldn't have been that stupid to actually know that before i did ?!"
"B-But Kacchan-"
"But kacchan my ass! What do you think anger does to people when the one they have an interest for do, huh?! Ever since you got knocked out so cheap-like, all she thought about was getting Mina back for you!" Bakugo points at Aoyama as he balls up a fist in frustration. Aoyama blinks hs eyes a few times to process what Bakugo said. Suddenly..
"Guys, look at y/n..." a scared Sero says while pointing to the battle.
You threw a right punch in her stomach and a left to her face and then your hits just kept repeating themselves, setting your own pace as you gave Mina a taste of your own medicine as you punch her constantly hit after hit after hit. Aoyama and the rest of Class 1-A was on the edge of their seats in shock. Once you finished your torture, Mina was weaving back ever so close to the boundary line, her body dropping in half when you stopped your barrage of attacks. "Pathetic.", you sneered as you ran to give Mina your final blow. "Now you'll know how Aoyama really felt!! Take this you monsterrrr!!-huh?!"
Mina's arm slowly ascended and then her hand came in contact with your wrist, thus stopping your punch. Her head was down but you heard her mutter under her defeated tone of voice, "You like Aoyama, do you?"
"Speak up..mademoiselle." you replied sharply, activating your voice mimick as Aoyama. You then tried to jerk your wrist out of her hold. She lifted her head up to your face and repeated the same question,
"You like Yuga Aoyama, do you y/n?"
It was then at that moment, the whole world seemed to stop when she asked you that question. Your indigo eyes didn't lose sight of Mina's face all covered in scathe marks, you flushed pink with a blank look on your face.
"Strange. Now Ashido has somehow stunned y/n with some sort of thing she said. and is that a blush i see on y/n? But the real question is will Ashido keep her victory and finally knock out the Phaser?" Present Mic declares.
Recovering for only what seemed like a matter of sceonds Mina finally got a break due to her curiosity. She tries to pull her foot out of your foots' plantar strength. It hurt too much as she gasped in pain," I know you like him y/n, every time in class--ugh! and in the dorms and-gah! heck every time i see you looking at him! just admit it-ow!"
There was a big pause for your response that only ended with you screaming at the top of your lungs," Ashido!!, SHUT. YOUR. MOUTHHH!!"
In a flash your anger returned, thinking if yur eyes darkened anymore you lok possessed. You quickly took your foot off of hers...
"This is not gonna end well for Mina now, I can't watch." Jirou worries while covering her eyes with her earplug cords. Everyone and the whole Hosu audience saw you ram your weight and aoyama's weight into Mina's body as you lifted her up with ease, now with her over your head. Mina cries out in pure terror, "Y/n, no!! No! PLease! I'm sorry I-I-"
"Sorry this you traitor! AHHHH!!", you roared as you were preparing to slam her down.
Oh no she snapped again! Aizawa panicked in thought as he has saw you in this level of anger before. He snatched the microphone from Mic and shouted into it,"Y/N, STOP YOU'RE GONNA KILL HER!!"
You turned your head to see a terrorized Aizawa, along with Mic with the most traumatized face on the planet. Never in your life you saw your teacher afraid of you about to nearly kill one of your own out of vengeful rage.
".....look at yourself y/n, all of this just because of someone who knocked out...and humiliated, but it doesn't mean you have to end anybody just to avenge a certain person. If you kill Ashido I have no choice but to disqualify you and expel you from U.A."
You gasped in utter disbelief. He couldn't. If you were going to get expelled that means no more engaging with your classmates or Aoyama. You would never have a chance with him, ever. Looking up at your arms, you were holding up Mina, who half-chuckles and coughs from the punches from earlier. Then you look back at your class, they're all terrified, scared of yo. Guilt starts to slowly form in your chest as you look back at Aizawa. "Then how am I going to knock her out w/o killing her of what she did ," you retorted sharply,"She deserves it!"
"Sure to you. But it's different from anyone else's point of view in this situation. So, put her down first. Find a way to put her outside the boundary line. Control yourself with your quirk. This is not what Aoyama would do. That's why you phased as him, right? So you could defeat Ashido with..style. Not savage kill shots." Aizawa instructs.
Aoyama looks up to Aizawa in the p.a booth and then down at his female-like clone of him,y/n. Midoriya joins in, "Mr.Aizawa is right y/n! You were going out of control!"
Aoyama added as he rose from his seat and cheered to you, "Win it the moi way ma cherie!"
You look at Midoriya, then back up at Aizawa and then you swiveled your head to see Aoyama. He was wearing a little bandage on his chin from when Mina hit him. Turning your head back, your teeth formed in an irritated frown at the ground as you squeezed your eyes shut. It's like that look when Kirishima notices someone being manly and it soothes his soul...yep, that look.
And here you were, as your crush, about to pulverize Mina. Sighing, you lowered her from over your head, making her look like she's being carried bridal style. Your face now softening to a relaxed look like all that time with your eyebrows furrowing were tired out from so much fury, your translucent eyes met her weak black eyes as she formed a small smile at you. Suddenly, it was like she wanted to hold her gaze in those eyes for a full minute. Nothing moved in her world. Those eyes were like an evening sky full of the most exquisite and glimmering stars as your irises and she could see the hill she would rest on in your pupils. It was so..hypnotizing.
"Heh, heh. Hey y/n...thank-oof!"
Mina landed with a thud with her butt meeting the ground a bit harshly. She dusted herself off until suddenly, she noticed something..she saw green as in grass green! She was literally on the arena a minute ago. wait...the gaze she held with you was..a distraction?!
"Ashido is out of bounds, which means the winner of the challenge match is Aoyama-shoot-y/n!!" Midnight announced as she whirled around her whip.
The crowd roared with cheers and applause as you finally savor your avenged victory. You won. As Aoyama. It was unbelievable. All this time a beautiful distraction was just the right move to end the fight. Within seconds, you were smiling proudly and was imitating the signature Aoyama pose. Hand fanned upon your forehand, posture calm and eyes on the cameras.
"Ribbit. so a single stare put Mina out of bounds? Y/n really knows her attention span quite well." Tsuyu says as she turns to Jirou. "That's y/n for ya, she's smart and will instantly read your weaknesses and blind points like a pro." Jirou adds and then chuckles,"I can't believe she won like that though, I guess Mr.Aizawa really put some sense into her."
Denki puffs out a sigh of relief," I'm just gald she didn't body slam her into the concrete.". "Me too." Sero agrees.
Mineta, visibly disappointed with his arms crossed like a little toddler, cried out," Dang it! The cat fight was getting good until she had to ruin it with her low moves I wanted to see those hotties duke it out in action!"
"Oh you wanna see action?",an annoyed Sero asks as he dispenses a long strand of tape from his elbow and wraps it around his face almost as if he wanted to fully bond him in it. His midget body included. "Then shut your trap!"
The class clapped at Sero's disciplinary action that was much needed for Mineta.
"Way to go y/n" ,Midoriya cheered.
"You got Mina good!" Ochaco applauded.
"I knew she could hold herself together. Even though her revenge plan was very well detailed and ruthless, she made a slight change and in less than a minute, her plan still worked. She is quite the intellectual." Iida accompanied.
Ojiro hums in concentration and complies, "But I'm not understanding why y/n turned into Aoyama though."
"Because Tail Boy, she wanted Ashido to witness her own defeat as if Twinkle Toes came back better than ever and ready to beat her to make her realize how he felt during his defeat." Bakugo snapped, his red eyes focusing on Ojiro, "Get it now?"
Ojiro chuckles nervously and stutters, "Oh-okay thank you Bakugo, I think I got it now."
"WHAT an impressive throwdown sports fans!! y/n swiftly defeated Ashido which means the real Aoyama's victory is finally avenged! Talk about double trouble if you know what I mean!! Stick around sports fans we're gonna take a little break for now and when we come back more matches will be on the way!!" Present Mic hollers happily over the p.a once more.
You were waving to everyone goodbye as you stepped out of the battlefield and walked to Mina who was now leaning against the hall entrance with a face of what you saw was a combination of defeat, confusion but thought. You could see the hit marks from where you punched and kicked her. And a big purple bruise onn her left cheek from the first punch. It made you feel kinda bad now that it was just a match. She adverts her eyes away from you to avoid contact, but you still approached. But you decided to put all feelings aside and make up with her after all that something that Aizawa said to you made you realize you don't have to hate anybody for the little nor big things they do.
"Hey..that was a nice fight you put up with me there. That was probably the most exciting thing I have ever done this year at the Sports Festival..sorry if i hit you a little too hard. I thought I would have to wait forever for my fight with Tokoyami but he's going to have to go against Yaomomo."
Mina looks up at you perking up a bit from what you just said. "You really liked fighting me? Uh, thanks i guess! And don't worry I've been hit harder with my own quirk than you. But can you be honest with me for once? Did you fight me for yourself or for Aoyama?"
You turned your head to the side as a blush appeared immediately. Oh crap, you're still in Aoyama's form and now you were blushing like an idiot. Mina leans close to you and smirks, "Don't worry I won't tell, after after all I know the real reason why now~.". You're speechless, you wanted to punch her in the gut again but the fight was over. Mina turns on her heel and starts walking to the entrance she came out of. Forget that advice Aizawa told you, you despised it now.
"Tell anyone else, and i will kill you..Ashido." you growl. She swivels her head to find you giving her the same death glare you gave Iida moments ago. Shivers shot down Mina's spine as she shudders, "Uh-uh oh-okay y/n..I'm gonna go now, bye!" followed by a giggle as she made her way to the nurses office. Meanwhile, you stroll your way to the Player Waiting Room. But first, you had to phase out of your Aoyama form. You clasped your hands together and made a mirror again and stepped into it, exiting out as your normal self once more, and then continued walking. It was a relief to you. How long were you Aoyama anyway? It wasn't long but the fight did take up time on your quirk before it could have faded away. Your feet made contact with a short set of steps that led to the waiting room. Sure enough, there it was. Your hand gripped the door handle but before you could open the door you heard a quite familiar voice coming from behind you. Deep but deprived.
"So you have gained control of your quirk, Phase Mirror? Your progress is growing quite well y/n."
Only Aizawa sneaking up on you would almost make you jump every time. You faced him, his eyes didn't have the least bit of change on his facial features as he spoke to you. Turning the rest of your body, you asked,"Aizawa? Uh, how did you think of the match? I mean-you saw it but you did come to tell me something? Did I do something wrong?"
"No. You didn't do anything wrong. I'm here to congratulate you. That took potential and courage to go up against Ashido for Aoyama's sake. In that moment, you reminded me of Midoriya a bit. Because he would avenge for anybody that got injured by a villain. Professionally, what I'm saying is you are growing maturely as you view your own ideas as a hero. Congratulations on the win." He flatly trails on as he walks past you. Then, your teacher stops in is tracks and asked you yet another question before you were about to go into the room.
"By the way y/n, did you really feel the urge to kill Ashido during the match? Or was it the your anger for her that blinded you in the battle midway?"
You could feel his eyes on you through the door, waiting for your answer. You tilt your face out the door and you answered looking down at the floor ashamed, "I am unsure of that, Mr. Aizawa. But if you didn't have stopped me...I would have on accident...tthe rage was just too much. And I-"
"You have no need to apologize. I know your quirk and how it impacts you physically and mentally. Don't get yourself worked up about it, just don't let it happen again." And with that, he leaves you alone to finally give you time to freshen up before the next battle begins so you can watch it.
A few minutes later you were checking yourself out in a fresh new gym uniform and your h/c hair and ready to go back to the bleachers. Suddenly you heard a tapping on the door which caused you to approach the door and open it, you were unexpectedly welcomed by Aoyama who was down on one knee and holding out a red rose.
You let out a slight gasp from how unforseen this was from you pummeling Mina then seconds later romantically being romantically encountered by your crush.
His smile being ever so beautiful as he speaks to you in his gentle voice as he looks you straight in your f/c eyes, "Mon ami, you were so brave, avenging my win from my dear classmate Mina. And with that, you also learned the moi way of getting what you wanted. So I wanted to thank yo properly."
Frozen by his flashy entrance, you thought of how horrified he must have been when you were clobbering Mina to a motionless pulp and tha's why he was doing this act. But the soft look on his face was like he was saying 'hey, let's put that fight behind us even though you were cloned as me.'
You broke the silent but awkward tension as you spoke to him in a concerned tone, "Aren't you scared of me Aoyama? I mean i was about to exterminate her because I was fighting for..for.."
"For moi?"
" I just couldn't stand her of how she won like that! It was low!, It was cheap!, and overall it was humiliating! Don't you feel the same Aoyama?" you ranted whilst flailing your arms over your head.
He gently shakes his head in disagreement, making his golden locks sway in sync with the motion. He stands up from his previous position with the lightest of elegance. "Did you ever come to you that maybe you have a certain feeling for someone that happened to have given you the instinct to fight back for when you saw him fall in defeat?" he asks as he bats his pretty eyelashes twice at you. Wait a damn minute..
Your arms plopped down to your sides as you break out in a blush. Sharply, you turned around and tried to cover your face with the base of your arm. He caught you. Aoyama then walked around you to face you again with that grin he always wore on his face. "You ceratinly have an attraction for moi,do you not? That's why you transformed as me to take aback my victory." he says in a subtle teasing tone, as he presses his hand on to his chest. You drop your face to keep him from seeing your flustered image as your ears were eating his words up like a full course meal. He puts one of his hands on your shoulder as he shares the embarrassment with you.
"That was very honorable of what you did for me ma cherie~and you were very beautiful while you ahem..used Ashido as your punching bag." he said sheepishly.
You lifted up your head and looked at him in surprise. Then you lightly chuckled and commented, "Well..karma had to come back to her one way or another. But really, I just wanted to show her that there are more..justified ways to defeat someone."
Aoyama saw the glint of positivity in your orbs of vision as his face lit up. He grabs a hold of both of your hands and pulls you into his chest, a warm embrace. Well, that did enough to make your mind go blank as a whiteboard as your throat held in a squeal from the way he held you so closely. His light floral scent caught your senses as it immediately calmed you down. Aoyama saw the impact he's made on you as he says to you sweetly, "Now answer me this and this time, look at moi when you say it, and I won't tell anyone this evver happened d'accord?"
You hummed in agreement, making his torso almost vibrate as he drew out a light gasp along with a dust of pink on his face which only lasted for a second before he got it to go away. He cleared his throat and asked you,
"Do you like me ma cherie?"
At this point you did not want remove your head out of his chest, but you had to at some time. YOur eyes gazed into his and then you saw his perfect but lightly bandaged face. It looked so cute to you the thought of it was almost too much. The uplifting in your chest starts to grow as well as your heart rate. The moment was so pure and romantic that all you wanted to do is just stare at him and be lost in his eyes forever.
Aoyama, who was patiently waiting for your answer, he found you very unique as you were as the other girls of 1-A. But when he saw you experimenting with your quirk and transforming into himself countless times, he knew right then and there you had a special place for him. Unfortunately, you were the shy one at times when you were around boys but they all became your friends along with the girls in your class (EXCLUDING MINETA). Around half of the girls were jealous of you when you first came to U.A, you thought you were just a normal looking girl with a phase quirk. But that's when you got cornered by a few of them and it was not pretty of how you got bullied.
"Hey normie, how did you get into this school anyway? Your quirk doesn't even make sense to be in a battle!"
"What a waste!"
"You think you're better than anybody else here? we'll show you how ugly you are even with your stupid quirk!"
It really hurt you emotionally but you wouldn't go without a fight. So you started transforming into the first normal student you see walking into the school and begun your revenge plan. Nothing intense just to knock some respect into them . In days, karma came back to bite them in the butt and you thought you could finally relax and go on with your life. From then on, it worked like magic. And now your "magic" was looking back at you.
"Well ma cherie? You have been staring into my gleaming eyes for about two minutes. I don't want you to get eye strain you know?" he chuckled while sweeping a section of your hair behind your ear. You sighed lovingly as you built up some courage and pull apart from his embrace.
"I..I do like you Aoyama but I never knew that you had-"
"I had feeling for you too." he cut in.
"Are you serious?" you asked in surprise.
"Oui," Aoyama started to shuffle his feet as he continues his own confession for you, "I saw how different you were treated at the school. Your quirk must be very special to you. People say it's not suitable for battle because it's not flashy or has panache and it doesn't match your form. But I believe that is faux, as you have a very striking and beautiful appearance and personality. Y/n, I want you to take this rose as a reminder of moi, so we can be together and shine on as heroes."
He took a knee once again in front of you, and the first thing he sees is you on the verge of tears. He quickly panics as he carefully places the rose on one of the tables.
"Oh no. I said too much didn't I? I'm ever so sorry that I went too fast. I-I-"
You sniffle, "No Aoyama..no one's ever said that to me before..I always thought I would never be a hero with my quirk."
Aoyama shushes you as he welcomes you into another comforting hug as you give in to him, crying into his shoulder. He strokes one of his hands into your hair. It felt so soft and thick. He looks out to the doorway and begins to tell you his life story about how his quirk was difficult too and of how he wanted to be normal like his other classmates but when he was with you or rather speaking to you he felt inner peace.
He saw that your tears dried up as he grins at you which made you start to smile back at him. "Are you all right now, mon amor?"
Flushed by the French he put in his question, you literally start stuttering, "i-is mon amor..m-m-my love in french?"
He replies with his regular twinkling aura around him, "Yes. Do you not like that?". At the second he answered you pressed your burning face back in his chest. His eyes crease up happily.
"So you do like that I suppose. Okay then I'll stop for now." Aoyama beams as he looks down at your pretty little head in the center of his torso. Once the fire on your face disappeared, you focused your eyes on his face again now actually being a little closer than usual to you. It was almost like he wanted an adorable staring contest with you. You wouldn't mind it at all until he brushed his thumb under your chin as he lead you both walking out of the player waiting room. Your mind was in a fog, he was so heavenly smooth as he moved with you, along with your lips still in a affectionate smile. He stopped by the audience entrance. You almost tripped over yourself as you halted beside him sharing the view of the arena again. Aoyama turned to face you his eyes never missing a single detail of your face.
So beautiful.
He cleared his throat and asks you, "Y/n, may I..do something?"
"Oh? Okay, what do you want to do?" you nervously chuckle. He takes a gentle hold of your hand and raises it to his lips kissed the front of your hand. It felt so real, is this a daydream? You wanted to die of how classy he was being with you right now because you were a giggling mess and smiling bashfully.
"Hehehe, I'm ticklish there Yuga~"
His indigo orbs sparkle happily as his smile grew. "I'll make sure to keep note of that my dear y/n. Now let's see how the next match goes oui?"
You take your hand in his and head back to your spots. Believe it or not, this was one of the best days of your life that you've ever had at U.A and it couldn't get any better than this.

I'm so confused by the current chapter and I feel dumb. The scans are hard to see too. So little 5 year old Tenko is coming out of afo chest but he's aging ?But this is just imagery representing the small part of him that's still left. I don't dare go on Twitter cause I don't want to hear about tomura being 5 at end 🙄 even if they keep showing him it just wouldn't make sense but...i dont put anything past Horikoshi anymore.
Okay well
First, don’t feel dumb.
Second, I'm really not here for the negativity. I have no reason to think the manga is gonna throw away the coming of age themes and reduce the most well-constructed character in the series to a 5 year old, which goes against a lot of the other themes too.
I'm trying to think of a better way of describing it. It's less like "it's the only part that is there" (which I know I've said before), and more like "he's still there, and this is representative of that" (me amending that statement lol).
I'm only going off of clues right now (although, pretty strong clues), but Tenko starting to look more stressed and resemble the way he looks currently--which is a walking talking trauma incarnate and AFO's crafted little puppet--tells me that his memories and emotions being triggered have stressed him out even MORE. And this is putting him at risk of actually disappearing, which now shows him trying to struggle and break free.
When he was drawn with his black hair still, he sat still and didn't move. Kind of like he was watching and waiting (and given what we saw in chapter 334, I think that's exactly what he was doing). But then he got upset by what happened with Bakugo because it reminded him of how nobody ever tried to save him, and now he's losing himself even more. Perfect timing that Midoriya shows up right now.
Shigaraki is still there, still present because deep down he wants to be saved, wants to let go of the really negative thoughts he has toward himself, and wants to acknowledge the grief he feels for the loss of his family. Because of those things that still tie him to who he was before AFO, he is still there. Hence Tenko.
The more stressed he looks and the further away he gets from "who he was before AFO", the more he loses to AFO. Which is represented by him starting to resemble Tomrua Shigaraki (who AFO wanted him to become) more and more.
The idea is for Shigaraki to be able to live with the fact that Tomura Shigaraki is who he became, despite not wanting to. And by doing that he has to accept that he didn't want to become who he is now. And by doing THAT he has to face the lies he's been telling himself, about himself, and remember the person he was before AFO got involved. By remembering the things he wanted before AFO showed up, he can face who he is now, fight the self-hatred, face the truth about things he's been avoiding, and then change to who he wants to be.
No, none of this tells me he is going to end up a freaking 5 year old at the end.
I will parrot what I've been saying every time this take comes up--
It's not gonna happen with Midoriya, or Bakugo, or Shouto, or Touya, all of whom have been shown as kids to display genuine emotions. It's not gonna happen with Shigaraki.
I mean we can only go off of context clues. And this is what they're telling me. Taking it too literal is not going to help figure out what's going on imo.

Amplify Chapter 4
Keiko didn’t get to stay with Iida, Shouto and Midoriya. Endeavor took her home, after giving her a short speech about how proud he was of her for controlling herself and only using her quirk to save people despite the temptation to intervene. It wasn’t often that Endeavor said he was proud of anyone, and Keiko not-so-subtly reminded him that he could perhaps tell Shouto as well. The grunt she got in answer was exactly what she was expecting, but it didn’t dim her hopes.
After her best friend healed, he returned to them, and Keiko was subjected to him antagonizing his father relentlessly over the victory attributed to him. Sometimes she felt like a third wheel to their arguments, and she wished she could just go on patrol with Endeavor’s sidekicks. Instead, she was subjected to quirk training that made her body feel like it was hit by a train, constant quizzing about hero laws from Kido and Onima, and headache-inducing bickering between the father and son duo. Burnin rescued her one day for patrols, but she was a hothead, so Keiko ended up continuing her role as the mediating figure whenever anyone else was involved.
She had to admit, however, that she learned a lot. She also got a firm measurement on exactly how much thermal energy she could contain before a discharge was necessary. Endeavor even had his support team draw up some plans and fabric recommendations for a suit that would be better suited to protecting her from flames since she could absorb the energy, but could still be burned in the process if she wasn’t careful. Her favourite part of the entire internship, though, was that she got to spend the whole time living with the Todoroki family. Seeing Fuyumi and Natsuo was good for her soul, and she was willing to overlook Enji’s apparent fixation on eventually marrying her to his son whenever he was present. She even got to visit Rei with Shouto one day. Her polaroid camera came in handy that day, as the trio took a walk on the hospital grounds and had a picnic outside. Rei ended up with tons of photos for her room, and Shouto had plenty as well.
Going back to school after a week of working in the hero world was a bit of a bummer, especially since her internship went quite well. Most of the class seemed to feel the same, but she noticed when she spoke to Momo that her internship was a bit of a disappointment. Mineta seemed thrilled to be back from his internship with Mount Lady, where he was apparently used as a housekeeper. Served him right. Bakugo’s experience was a bit of a surprise, however. As was his lovely hairdo.
“It’s so straight! It looks so soft too.” Keiko teased, playfully brushing her fingers through the white-blond strands only to have her wrists grabbed to stop her. Keiko pouted, wiggling to try and get her hands free so she could get grabby again. Her pout only got worse when Kirishima and Kaminari teased the blond into puffing his hair out again.
“Awww, guys you ruined it!” Keiko whined, nearly collapsing into Mina’s open arms. That drew a laugh from the pink-skinned girl, who fanned the overdramatic girl while she feigned fainting. The girls giggled together, only growing louder when Katsuki shouted at them to shut up.
Homeroom dulled everyone’s spirits, as their final exam was coming up fast. Keiko, who had spent much of her free time training or studying, wasn’t really that worried. Obviously the practical exam posed a risk, but she knew she’d ace the written exam. She declined everyone’s offers to study, even Kirishima and Bakugo’s. Instead, she planned to get together at her place with Shouto. Giving him an out from his place was always a good thing, and it meant her house felt a little less lonely. That was only helped when he arrived at her door with two kittens in his arms. One was a long-haired ginger with three black paws, while the other was pure black with folded ears and medium length fur. Keiko melted on sight, taking them both into her arms and giving them each a kiss, then putting the sleepy things into the pocket on the front of her hoodie.
“Where did you get these guys?” Keiko asked, walking into her apartment to find a box and a blanket to make a bed for them. Shouto shrugged.
“Neighbour’s cat had kittens. I know you’ve been wanting to get cats. You can’t be alone all the time in this place.” The two-toned man replied, “I can help you pick stuff up for them.”
“Thank you Sho. You’re the best friend I could ever have.” Keiko hummed, scrunching up a blanket in one of the old boxes she’d kept from moving, then depositing the sleepy kittens into it. She put the box by the couch so they could get settled, then moved in to steal a hug. Shouto rolled his eyes but allowed it, a hand on her lower back while the other remained in his pocket. Two hours later, they had picked up toys, food, litter boxes, treats, a cat tree, and a couple of scratching posts. Keiko got the apartment set up while Shouto started studying, and once she was done, Keiko began to get dinner ready while Shouto quizzed her from the couch. Both of the kittens loved to lay on Shouto, specifically his fire side, absorbing that ever-present warmth. They ate dinner in the living room, sat under the kotatsu that Keiko had refused to live without. Like Shouto, she tended towards having a rather traditional style of decor, further evidenced by her tatami flooring, floor cushions and low style sofa and chairs. She even had shoji screens to separate rooms in the open floor plan of her apartment. It certainly made her apartment feel larger.
Keiko named the male ginger kitten Rin, and the female black kitten Suzu. Shouto ended up staying quite late, curled up on her couch together to watch movies while the kittens dozed. Keiko figured that the only reason Endeavor hadn’t called to complain about Shouto being away was that he wanted them to get married. Sometimes, she was fairly sure that Endeavor forgot that women weren’t just baby machines.
The day of their final exams, Keiko was admittedly stressed out. They learned that they would be fighting their teachers in their practical exam, and none of the teachers felt like a particularly fun fight to her. Sure, she would definitely have a quirk advantage against some of them, but she was paired up against Present Mic with Jirou and Koda, and she knew that it would be difficult. Mic’s quirk didn’t provide an energy type that she could absorb, and she was paired with two sound-quirk users who wouldn’t be able to use their quirks effectively either. In the beginning of the match, they needed to use their heads. Mic’s voice was ear-piercing even at a distance, and she knew they’d all be suffering big time in a short amount of time.
“I need you guys to hit me. Hard.” Keiko requested. Jirou immediately complied with a wild grin, slapping her across the face so hard that Keiko knew anyone else (except perhaps Kirishima) would have ringing in their ears. In her case, it was a fantastic boost to her energy.
“Good?”
“Hell yeah! Again!”
Another slap, followed by a gut punch and a kick to the side. Koda panicked as he watched them; Jirou hitting their classmate relentlessly while Keiko looked like she was getting high off of it. A wild grin on her face, Keiko bumped her fist against Jirou’s, then Koda’s.
“Alright guys. I can’t hit Mic from afar since he’s pretty fast, but I can distract the hell out of him. What have we got?” Keiko asked. Another burst from Mic had Keiko mashing her ears with both palms to try and block out the sound. Once he stopped, Jirou rattled off a pretty good explanation for why they couldn’t go right at him, but she came up with the plan to get Koda to use bugs. Koda wasn’t keen on the idea, but Keiko trusted he would overcome his fears. Another shriek made Keiko shrink down to the ground and contemplate shoving moss in her ears. By the time the screaming stopped, Jirou’s ears were bleeding and Keiko was sure hers were as well. She offered to run distraction, giving them time to get the bugs ready to go and also to avoid more damage to Jirou and Koda’s ears. He needed to speak to the bugs to get them to help, which was difficult with Present Mic screeching like a banshee.
“Hey, Mic! Have you ever heard the one about the stuttering DJ? He really likes to d-d-dddd-ddd-ddrop the bass!” Keiko shouted as she headed towards the gate. Mic’s answering laugh was another couple of seconds he wasn’t screeching.
“Good joke, Mochizuki, but did you really come out here with telling jokes as your plan?”
“Yeah, why not, right? Hey Mic, what do police officers and DJs have in common? They both tell drunk people to put their hands up!” Keiko giggled at her own joke, unable to help herself. Mic laughed along with her, but she knew he was smart and was analyzing the area around him. He sucked in a breath after a second to shout, and Keiko used an energized burst to run around the clearing so that he wasn’t aiming towards her classmates, then aimed at him and focused. Instead of her usual larger blast, she managed two concentrated shots that forced him to dodge.
“HEY LISTENERS! COME OUT!” Mic shouted, knocking Keiko on her ass rather easily. Keiko felt  blood coating her neck just under her ears, but she saw the ground bend upwards next to Mic’s foot and relief flooded her. Bugs began to crawl up Mic’s leg, and he squealed like a wild animal, eyes rolling back in his head. She was fairly sure he fainted, even. Koda carried Jirou out of the forest at Keiko’s signal that Mic was down, and they all headed out through the gate. Unsurprisingly, Keiko got a lecture from Aizawa about using herself as cannon fodder, but was pleased with them for being able to work as a unit against a quirk ill-suited to them. A quick visit to Recovery Girl had them all fixed up, and they were able to watch the other battles again, but watching Izuku and Katsuki fight All Might was painful so Keiko decided to sit with Shouto to warm up against his fire side.
The news that even those who failed will be able to attend the summer training camp, though with extra lessons, cheered up those of the class that were bummed out about their failures. The class planned a shopping trip when Aizawa gave them free time before the end of class, since some of them needed to pick up necessities for the summer. That was interrupted when Nezu knocked and opened the door with All Might, both looking grim.
“Eraser, we need to speak with Miss Mochizuki and yourself, if you don’t mind.” Nezu hummed pleasantly, fooling no one. Keiko felt her stomach drop out, and her chest got tight.
“Fine. Class, you’re excused.” Aizawa waved the class off, and the three pro heroes watched the class disembark. Keiko stayed in her seat, looking decidedly unsure as she received worried stares from her classmates. Shouto shook his phone at her to indicate for her to call him, and Katsuki stared at her as he left the classroom, his hands clenched into fists. Once they were gone, All Might placed an overly gentle hand on her shoulder as Nezu sat on the desk in front of hers.
“Miss Mochizuki-”
“Please call me Keiko, Principal Nezu. I don’t like going by my last name.” Keiko murmured, unsure.
“Of course. Keiko, we just received word from the police. Geonosis prison had a breakout yesterday, and they just got the final headcount on escaped villains. Kikuchi Bassui was among the villains to escape.” Nezu explained quietly, watching as Keiko’s normally flush and healthy skin went white.

You hated joint practical assessments with Class 1A and 1B. Especially with the gigantic monitor overhead, showcasing everyone's best and worst moments. Why was it necessary to watch others go through their tests? It was going to be responsible for your soon-to-be hearing loss, as your beloved, classy partner screamed at his middle school sweetheart to--
"GET OFF YOUR ASS, DEKU! GET UP, GET THE FUCK UP!"
It was like watching a middle-aged man spill popcorn all over his own living room because he was screaming too fervidly at the football game on television. The voice cracks were really the icing on top.
There were thankfully other impassioned classmates also yelling at Midoriya's beat-up face on the screen, helping dull the bite of his tantrum, as if he could possibly hear their lackluster advice and/or insults. In a way, it was nice seeing him so concerned for his old friend, wanting him to succeed so badly that he was spraying spit all over the row of 1B students in front of you.
Class 1-A was losing, which yes, was disappointing, but there were still three matches to go. Midoriya was not a deciding factor big enough to warrant Bakugou's severely misplaced rage.
"Aaah," A familiar, slimy voice cozied up to you, an arm slung casually around your shoulders, and Monoma's sly grin came into view on the opposite side from where Bakugo was standing.
"Class 1-A, once again, proves for us that 1-B is the more... sophisticated class, hm?"
"Get off of her."
Speaking of severely misplaced rage: Before you could shrug him off, he was wrenched violently back. Shoes scraped the ground and clothes were ripped, as two blond boys struggled, shouting for a second-- one out of fear, the other dead set on blowing him to pieces.
"I TOLD YOU TO GET OFF."
The smaller of the two would've been thrown straight onto the concrete if his torn uniform wasn't clutched so tightly in the other's hand.
"WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I WON'T BLAST YOU TO HELL RIGHT NOW?! WHO RAISED YOU?!"
You quickly looked to Kirishima for an ounce of reassurance. He usually was the only one who could get close enough to an irate Bakugou and either not get hit, or be able to sustain the consequent collateral damage. Unfortunately, you found that he was just as geared up for a fight. Arms were hardened, a knock-off shitty grin across his face, standing immediately behind the human megaphone.
"Oh, you picked the wrong fucking day, bro," The look on his face was nothing short of eager.
This was ridiculous. They were like a bully pair in a shitty old Christmas movie.
Easy fix, on your part. While he was distracted in the middle of his screaming match with Monoma, the thumb and ring finger of one hand slid onto the bare slick, skin of Bakugou's bicep. You watched him struggle against the Quirk's nulling effects, and get a little paler with accompanying nausea. You shot a warning glance to Kirishima. He softened up right away but didn't look too happy about it.
"I hate it when you do that," He snapped at you.
How contradictory. In the middle of a fight he starts because he was jealous, he speaks to you like a dog. Was he actually jealous, or did he just want an excuse to stay angry?
It came out so smooth, so easily, you couldn't react right away to humble him. The downright disrespectful expression he gave you recycled back to his victim's face. He was already halfway through threatening to kick Monoma's ass -the old-fashioned way- before you could even begin to think of something hurtful in return.
That was for the best. Students from 1-A and 1-B alike were watching, some looking for teacher interference and being disappointed there were none with you. It was short-staffed today and the ones that were here were occupying the practice field as safeties.
You walked away. The only sensible option after that was to sit with people not affiliated with him and try to get into a better headspace to start your match coming up. If he was going to hurt Monoma, he'd suffer the consequences of his actions without you being any part of it.
With assessments performed in the morning, this gave you the entire day to brush his efforts off, which grew increasingly more desperate in number and content.
When Aizawa broke the class into small discussions, he tried speaking to you for the first time since that morning.
"D'you finish the Defense assignment?" He muttered, not looking at you.
As you picked up your textbook, you gave a quiet, "Yeah," and moved to join a different group for discussions.
At lunch, he sat with you, and while you couldn't bring yourself to move anywhere else, you didn't share anything with him like usual. He was eyeing your food like he wanted to trade but didn't test the waters. Kirishima would speak exclusively to him, but it was quiet and sparse, like if he spoke any louder he'd set off a bomb.
When you were dismissed for the day, you didn't join him to walk to the dorms and train. Instead, you left with a group to go grab some coffee and 'study.'
Yet, all they wanted to talk about was that morning, so it wasn't as sobering as you intended it to be at first, but when the conversation topics inevitably changed to more digestible gossip, you began to feel a smidge better for the first time that day.
That is, until an inevitable message caught your attention.
KB: You did really well on your assessment
After another hour out, the group decided it was time to go back to the dorms, and on the way there, you kept your eyes on your phone. He must've missed you more than you gave him credit for.
A knock on the door broke you out of a locked stare you had on your unanswered messages. You tried not to make any assumptions as to who it could be as you crossed your room, but still couldn't help but feel disappointed that it wasn't Bakugou.
Still, Kirishima's face was not a welcome guest at the moment.
You kept it short. "What?"
"Can I- uh, come in?" He laughed, to keep it light, but quieted himself when you stepped aside and didn't return his energy.
He cleared his throat. It was clear he'd been with Bakugou a while; he smelled like him.
"He wanted me to tell you that he's really sorry about how he handled this morning."
The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Were these the tactics he felt you were deserving of? What was wrong with these little boys? Was this elementary school?
"'Handled' referring to how he completely took over a situation that I already had under control? Then snapped at me? Right."
"And he's real sorry about it, you know he didn't mean to yell at you--," He made the mistake of assuming he was safe from this bigger-picture issue and leaned on your stuff.
"You didn't do a damn bit of help with that, did you?" You reminded him.
Shameful, ruby eyes pointed down to the floor, his jaw tightened, and he lifted his hand from your desk chair, uncomfortable now that he was in the hot seat. His reassurance to Bakugou all day that he did the right thing by being 'protective' and 'manly' was extremely misguided and you didn't have the patience at the moment to explain how he was wrong.
"Sending a messenger to do his dirty work," You scoffed, "If he wants to solve anything, he can come and see me himself."
Kirishima was pissing you off more just by being in your space. Now you didn't want to look at him anymore, so you pointed to the door with a quiet, "Just get out."
It was baffling how dense those two could be when they put their heads together for long enough. They acted like middle school boys so often, especially with the indirect communication, that you wondered if they'd ever emotionally mature past petty jealousy, emotional outbursts, and 'he told me to tell you blah blah blah.'
Now with an empty, quiet room to glance around, you took a big breath with your hands on your hips. Your eyes landed on the bathroom door.
A shower was exactly what you needed to get your mind off of the events of today and recalibrate your mind.
A little hot water was all it took to calm you down, clear your head, and remind you of what was worth getting worked up about. Short answer: Literally nothing. Nothing and nobody should be living in your head rent-free, stressing you out, or giving you wrinkles. Especially not some guy you knew would be groveling for you to forgive him.
Your skin and hair care routine hit particularly different tonight with that alluring thought. Bakugou always did look best when he was apologetic.
Before you could get two steps out of your bathroom, a surprise guest made you emit an embarrassing yelp-- Bakugou was on his phone, reclining back in your desk chair.
"Get- get out!" You cursed yourself for screwing that demand up and tightened the towel around your body.
He glanced up, not-so-subtly trailing his eyes down your legs, and muttered a monotone, "You said I needed to come and see you myself."
"Are you insane? I could've been naked!"
"Well, get dressed and let's talk," He sighed, exasperated.
It would've been hard to catch for most, but this was the best tone he could possibly conjure up in order to not piss you off. It was still harsh by average standards -demanding and bitchy, even- but for him, it was like he put a little 'please' at the end.
You made him turn around so you could pull on a shirt and shorts. He mumbled something bratty about how he's already seen everything.
It earned, "You don't get to see me right now."
His reaction had to be stifled. Being aggressive was what got him here, so he had to control himself. But God, did the thought of you changing behind him remind him that he needed to make this right.
"Okay," You let him know it was safe to turn around and stood in front of him, expectant, "You start."
He had you at the beginning.
However, the longer he went on, it became clear that he had some type of elaborate script in his head, possibly co-authored by Kirishima, in an effort to appease you and smooth tensions over as much as possible, as quickly as possible. It was a mess of 'sorry for a,b,c,d,e... I'll do better next time' and was the least sincere thing you had ever heard.
"That was sad, Katsuki. Seriously."
Flabberghasted his agglomeration of I'm Sorry didn't work on your impossible feminine sensitivities, his calm demeanor cracked and he threw his hands up to rub his face.
You had to guide him through this process if anything was going to happen. "How do you really feel? I don't care if you don't think I'll like it, just be honest."
His head turned to the side. He bit the inside of his cheek.
"I'm confused. I thought you'd like me standing up for you."
The chair waved back and forth while he continued his honesty, "But you didn't. And it pisses me off because I don't know what you want from me."
When you opened your mouth to respond, he hastily added, "And I feel bad about snapping at you. Shouldn't have... shouldn't have done that."
"Okay," You breathed. That wasn't so bad.
Bakugou avoided your eyes while you cleared up his confusion in the evenest tone you could muster. "I do like you standing up for me. But you didn't need to get physical with Monoma just because he touched me."
"Fuck, it's- a compliment!" He laughed as if it was obvious.
"Picking fights and screaming is a compliment?" You crossed your arms.
His pretty face worked hard. For such an intelligent guy, anything to do with his own emotions took him for an amusingly long loop. Veiny hands gripped the chair and his thumbs tapped.
He struggled to explain himself, expressive hands flying around. "I just... I was already so pissed and Monoma can just suck a bag of dicks, so... when he--,"
Bakugou was getting himself worked up all over again, remembering the way somebody else was leaning all over you, how close his face was to yours. You grew sympathetic, less tense all over, as you found genuine worry start to crack through his frustration.
With a sigh, you set your arms down and embraced him, "C'mere."
It didn't take long for him to melt against you, the side of his head squished firm in the middle of your chest as he calmed, listening to your heartbeat.
"It's so easy getting mad about that stuff," He admitted, "'m always... I dunno, ready to blow someone's head off. Now I got you."
Big, red eyes looked up at you briefly, then embarrassed, he lowered his face back into the safety of your body.
Your hands caressed his head, thumbs rubbing out some tense spots along his hairline, "That sounds exhausting."
"Feels pretty good actually," He informed you and leaned into your gentle massage.
In a way, you could imagine the freedom of letting loose so much that you could just scream obscenities and threaten whomever you wanted because you didn't care, but the difference is that his attention was more moment-to-moment. Which, in hindsight, must've made the entire day quite grueling to get through.
"I didn't like the way he put his hands on you." He muttered into your chest.
Two warm palms under your shirt crossed in the center of your back and gave a firm grip to your sides, making you grimace at how close he forced you to him at such an awkward angle.
Nonetheless, you pet the straight, spiky strands on his head in side-to-side motions. His warm, steady breath on your bicep tickled.
You reminded him gently, "You don't like it when anyone touches me."
One hand slipped out of your shirt to squeeze your arm to his mouth. He sucked a slow kiss into it, then after admiring his mark on the otherwise blank canvas, went in for another. Maybe if he covered you in enough bites and bruises, nobody would have the audacity to make him jealous anymore.
For a moment, you tried to pull your arm away, still not done with your conversation, but he snaked his arms around you once more and stood up, "'Cuz your mine," buzzing against your temple, as he carried you over to your bed.
A sigh was muffled against the top of his head as he trapped you underneath him, face going straight for the unrestricted plush give of your chest. He notoriously hated your bras. Would burn them all, if only he knew where you kept them.
"Heavy ass," You groaned, prying your arms from underneath his weight to rub his shoulders and neck, "You don't see me getting mad about girls getting close to you."
One of his hands dove up your shirt through your unobstructed side and slipped over one of your breasts to play with. He chuckled against the other, "Girls don't screw with me."
You hated how right he was. He didn't exactly sell himself on charm and charisma. Everything about him was enough to scare most women off. He was an explosive, feral little demon. But as unhinged as he was, he loved you, wanted you, cherished you. He just showed it in unconventional ways.
"Missed you..." He mumbled against the bunched-up fabric.
A very amused chuckle fell from your lips at his pouty demeanor. It seemed like he could only be this vulnerable when he was physically distracting you. His hand fell to the side to position his thumb directly over your perky bud, eyes studying his own tap-tap-tapping until he felt you tug on the back of his head.
He took a big huffy breath, "'m sorry for being such a jealous ass."
Teeth and tongue were on your skin, lazily, apologetically devouring the one breast he chose to focus on. You assumed he was alluding to him blowing up at you.
You emitted a sharp hum and relaxed your head back on your pillow, "At least-- Mmn, you admit it."
He switched, finally, with a good final kiss to your sensitive lil friend, and lifted your thighs so you could lock them comfortably around his waist. In his adjustment, he pushed up the rest of your shirt, deemed it useless, and slipped it off.
Your mind was cloudy with the swirling mix of just the right amount of cuddly and sexy chemicals. Bakugou apologized, admitted he was wrong, and was being far too cute with your tits in his mouth.
"Aah- just--mn, don't do it again," You warned.
He hummed obediently against you and smiled at the needy squeeze he got around his middle.

Title: ABO HC How (A) Todoroki, (A) Bakugo, and (A) Hawks would react to finding the (O) Reader held hostage:
Summary: Your Alpha walks in on you being tied to a chair and he is not happy.
Prologue:
You had been a well-kept secret from the public. No one knew that your famous Pro Hero Alpha was courting an Omega or even in a long-standing relationship. Your Alpha was too paranoid about your safety to let any of the news outlets find out about your existence.
You supposed it would have been beneficial for the public to know now that you were in this situation. Surely if the villains knew they would come across an Omega, resting in their nest, they wouldn't have tried to rob the Pro Hero’s house.
You put up quite the fight once you smelled unfamiliar Alphas near your nest. One hard knock to your head had you subdued. You didn’t dwell over your quick loss considering one Alpha was nursing his swollen balls.
You got in one good kick before the painful hit fell on your head.
Now here you sat, tied to a chair, while the robbers argued with each other and what they should do now.
Shoto:
Tumblr media
🧊🔥-“I told you we should have checked the place out before we robbed it! I would have never tried to rob the place if I had known a freaking Omega was here!” The brunette Alpha growled, glaring at his blond friend.
🧊🔥-“What’s the big deal? So what if the little icy-hot freak has a girlfriend? We will be out of here before he even comes home.” The blond scoffs, shoving expensive silverware and china into his black bag.
🧊🔥-“You should know how Alpha’s get around their Omegas! He is gonna hunt us down! I don’t want a Pro Hero on my ass.” The brunette seethed, glaring at the goose egg on your head. “Especially since you decided to hit the poor thing! We will be lucky if he doesn’t skin us alive!”
🧊🔥-“The bitch hit me in the balls! Of course, I thumped her one on the head, serves the Omega slut right!” The blonde huffed, sick of hearing his partner complain instead of ransacking the place.
🧊🔥-“Mmh.” You mumbled, your eyes blinking open to a fuzzy view.
🧊🔥-“Fucking shit! They’re waking up! I’m not dealing with a weepy Omega.” The brunette cursed, going into Shoto’s office to avoid the whole situation altogether.
🧊🔥-“Well, if it isn’t Miss nut-cracker.” The blond chuckled darkly, walking over to your tied up frame.
🧊🔥-You didn’t back down and just glared at the dumb fool.
🧊🔥-“Aren’t too smart, are you? What type of shitty criminal robs a Pro Hero? Dumb ones, that’s what.” You spit, narrowing your blurry eyes at him.
🧊🔥-No doubt you would need to go to the doctor after this whole ordeal. Not like you would have a choice. You were sure even if they didn’t lay a hand on you that Shoto would have insisted on one.
🧊🔥-“You dumb little bitch!” The blond lifted his ring covered hand to hit you again. You tried not to flinch as it came down to strike you.
🧊🔥-The brunette stood in the office doorway, his bag filled with expensive clocks and other expensive desk items.
🧊🔥-“I got everything in the office. Did you...” The brunette didn’t get to finish his sentence.
🧊🔥-The front door was busted open. Shoto had smelled two Alphas on the other side of the door and he was not pleased. He was even less pleased when the door slammed open to reveal his battered Omega tied to a chair.
🧊🔥-His mismatched eyes turned dark. The temperature in the room both dropped and elevated at the same time. His tired body was instantly filled with murderous intent.
🧊🔥-A loud growl shook the room.
🧊🔥-How DARE they lay a hand on their Omega! His vision tinted red and his fangs dropped.
🧊🔥-“This will only take a minute, Y/N. I’ll take out this trash.” He calmly said, his tone was so cold you felt yourself shiver even knowing his silent rage wasn’t directed at you.
🧊🔥-“Yes, Alpha.” You responded, making sure voice quivered a little. You may have been glaring right back at the intruders before he came but you wanted them to suffer so you played the scared Omega role.
🧊🔥-They lost your sympathy as soon as they pulled you from your nest.
🧊🔥-The robbers, who were frozen in fear by the intimidating Alpha’s entrance, shuffled into action.
🧊🔥-The brunette was quick to give his partner up. “He hit her, not me!” He said, before running down the hall, looking for a way to escape.
🧊🔥-“You fucking asshole!” The blonde shouted, trying to run out of the room as well.
🧊🔥-He didn’t get far, ice trapped his feet and his lower body soon followed. Shoto made sure to form it in a way that sharp icicles tore at his skin if he so much as moved half an inch.
🧊🔥-He wanted to shoot an icicle into his leg for good measure but he didn’t feel like cleaning up blood off his floor. He wished to burn the skin off his bone but you had forbidden him from using fire in the house.
🧊🔥-He had accidentally caught one of your favorite blankets on fire and was banned for life.
🧊🔥-“We didn’t know she was here! If we had known we wouldn’t have come!” The blond groveled, panicked at the feral look in Shoto’s eyes.
🧊🔥-“You could have left after you saw my Omega was here, but you stayed and decided to hit her too. You should be lucky I didn’t just kill you on the spot.” He growled, cutting the blond’s cheek just a bit with an ice shard.
🧊🔥-The blond just whimpered and passed out. Shoto was quick to hunt down the other and give him the same treatment. He had made it out of the house so he was pleased to release his burning anger out on him.
🧊🔥-Once they were out of the way, Shoto ran to your side and burning away the binds holding you down.
🧊🔥-“Are you okay, my Dove?” His voice was soft, his cold hand going up to your head and trying to soothe the aching bump.
🧊🔥-“Yes, I’m just a little dizzy. Everything’s a little fuzzy right now.” You leaned into his gentle touch.
🧊🔥-“I’ll call someone to deal with those two. Let’s get you to the hospital, my Dove.” He hurriedly lifted you and carried you to his car. He treated you like glass when he sat you down in the passenger seat.
🧊🔥-You leaned your head against the cold window as he dashed around to the driver’s side. Your head hurt too much to look out the window so you kept your eyes closed.
🧊🔥-Your Alpha made sure you didn’t accidentally slip asleep.
🧊🔥-You let out a small whine when a thought crossed your mind.
🧊🔥-“Alpha my nest is gonna smell like them.” You sniffed, opening your teary eyes to look at him.
🧊🔥-Shoto’s hands went white on the wheel, his face contorted into a snarl. He couldn’t wait to visit them again at the station. He had friends there that wouldn’t hesitate to turn a blind eye.
🧊🔥-His anger instantly simmered when his eyes met your glassy ones.
🧊🔥-“Don’t worry, Little Dove. I’ll buy you more. We can even go shopping at that blanket store you like so much.” He assured, taking one hand off the wheel and clasping it in yours.
🧊🔥-Your eyes lit up. “Really! It’s kinda expensive though, I don’t need new ones. I am sure we can find some nice second-hand ones.” You squeezed his hand, bring it up to your lips to place a kiss on it.
🧊🔥-Your exhausted brain choosing to ignore the specks of blood on his hand.
🧊🔥-“My Dove, what have I said about me spending money on you?” He gently reprimanded, his eyes still soft.
🧊🔥-“Accept it and say thank you.” You repeated without delay.
🧊🔥-“Exactly, I won’t hear any more about it.” He ended the discussion, his eyes focusing back on the road while his hand remained in your grasp.
🧊🔥-If your head wasn’t killing you, you would have been bouncing in your seat. “I can’t wait! They are coming out with some pretty fall blankets soon! Oooh! We have to get some cute Halloween ones too!”
🧊🔥-“Anything you want.”

💥-“Why did you have to hit them!? Ground Zero is gonna come after us now!” The brunette cried, desperately holding ice to your head in hopes that the bump on it would go away.
💥-“Shut up! Get back to robbing the damn place instead of taking care of the freaking Omega.” The blond hissed, throwing a plate at the panicked Alpha.
💥-You sat back in the chair not knowing how to process the situation. You knew dating a Pro Hero was dangerous but you thought villains would be your main concern, not petty burglars.
💥-“If you leave now and don’t take anything, I’ll tell him I tripped and fell.” You wouldn’t, but they didn’t know that.
💥-“See! Let’s just leave. We can go rob some other place.” The brunette pleaded, already trying to untie you.
💥-The Omega in you wanted to feel bad for the whining Alpha but then you remembered he messed up your nest when he dragged you out of it. You Omega was fuming.
💥-I just got the nest just right! She huffed, pacing around in your head.
💥-She didn’t seem threatened by the Alphas in the room. She knew her Alpha was coming home any minute and he would take care of them.
💥-You, on the other hand, was slightly panicking now that the situation sunk in. Katsuki was gonna rip them to shreds. You Omega was already smugly licking her paws at the image, while you shuddered at the thought.
💥-“You should go. I don’t want to be mopping up your blood all night.” You urged, looking anxiously at the door.
💥-“See! We need to go!” The brunette cried, trying to tug his friend towards the door.
💥-“Shut up! We can leave once we get everything valuable.” The blonde growled, shoving off his partner.
💥-The jiggle of keys at the door made everyone in the room stop and hold their breath. The doorknob turned and the door was pushed open. You looked at the chair you were tied to, the robbers, and back at the door.
💥-There was no way to play off the situational. I don’t want to be mopping up blood. You whined, praying your Alpha wasn’t going to go too berserk.
💥-“Hey, Spit-fire! I got us, your favorite curry you were wanting. I made sure to get it extra spicy.” He walked in carrying a bag of takeout.
💥-He paused in the doorway once he got a whiff of unfamiliar Alphas in the house. His ruby eyes viewed the scene before him. He growled at the sight of the two Alphas.
💥-From your point of view, his eyes didn’t look red anymore with how big his pupils dilated at the presence of Alphas near his Omega. His hand instantly dropped the food to the floor.
💥-The sound of the bag hitting the floor heightened the tension.
💥-His fangs instantly dropped when his nose picked up a faint coppery smell, his eyes zeroed in on the small trail of blood on your head. The growl that ripped through his chest shook the room.
💥-“Alpha, please, no blood in the house.” You pleaded, shifting against the ties holding you in place.
💥-“No promises, Omega.” His voice was so dark that you didn’t even recognize it.
💥-“The brunette didn’t hit me. He even tried to ice it. Go easy on him.” You said, knowing his control was waning.
💥-The veins on his neck looked ready to pop, his arms straining to hold themselves still and not plummet the Alphas standing before him. He eyed the patio door that was pushed open, most likely where they entered in from.
💥-That would solve the blood problem.
💥-He grinned viciously, “How about we take this outside?”
💥-He rushed the two Alphas, grabbing them by the backs of their necks and throwing them out of the house and over the balcony. He laughed darkly as he followed them, jumping from the balcony.
💥-You wiggled free from your restraints and made your way to the front door, you picked up the takeout bag and brought it to the kitchen.
💥-“Suki will be hungry after beating those two up.” You hummed, making him a plate and then making yourself one.
***
💥-“Is the water too hot?” His voice was raspy from all the yelling he did earlier.
💥-You sat with your back leaning against his chest in the bathtub. The warm water and the heat of your Alpha calmed your stressed body. Being tied to a chair was as comfortable as it looked.
💥-“It’s fine, Alpha.” You hummed, delicately washing his bruised and bloody hands.
💥-“I’m sorry, I wasn’t here sooner Omega.” You smelled a hint of sadness in his scent.
💥-“Don’t worry, Alpha. I knew you were coming. I wasn’t scared one bit.” You reassured, bringing his hand up and planting delicate kisses on it.
💥-“My strong Omega,” he purred, nuzzling his nose into your hair. He flinched when he picked up the faint smell of another Alpha. He snapped up the bottle of shampoo and poured half the bottle on your head.
💥-“Got to get this disgusting scent off you, Omega.” He growled, gently scrubbing your scalp.
💥-“Alpha! That shampoo is fifty bucks!” You gasped, picking up the half-empty bottle.
💥-“I’ll buy you another one.” He assured, rinsing of the soapy suds and giving your head another sniff.
💥-“Much better.” He hummed, pulling you tighter against his chest.

🍗-“You shouldn’t be here.” You whimpered, trying to curl in on yourself, the ties preventing you from doing so.
🍗-“Why the fuck did you have to hit them? You know I can’t handle weeping Omegas, my Alpha hates it.” The brunette growled, trying to awkwardly pat your arm.
🍗-You winced away from his touch, another Alphas touch was too repulsive. You felt your skin crawl as his fingers grazed your arm. The thump on your head making you more nauseous than you already were.
🍗-“So what if your Alpha is a pussy. Unlike you mine enjoys their cries.” The blond smiled at the tears dripping down your face. “The bitch deserved it anyways.”
🍗-“Whatever.” The brunette scoffed, rolling his eyes and going back to robbing the place.
🍗-“You guy’s really shouldn’t be here...” You tried to warm them but you were too late. The door creaked open, your heart warming and racing at the sound. You knew it would be a bloodbath once Kei realized what was going on.
🍗-“Baby bird! I hope you are already in comfortable clothes, I’m ready to cuddle in our nest.” His soothing voice causing you to relax in the chair.
🍗-“Alpha.” You cried, your head still throbbing.
🍗-The silence was enough to tell you he spotted the two Alphas in the room.
🍗-“Omega.” He growled, his eyes bleeding red, the sight of blood trailing down your head sent him into a frenzy.
🍗-His wings puffed out, the room suddenly flooded with crimson feathers. You felt two feathers sailing your way and cutting the bonds holding you. You swiped them up in your grip and clutched them to your chest.
🍗-The soft texture of them calming you down some.
🍗-A feral roar sounded throughout the room. You ignored the harsh thumps coming from behind you, the sound of one of the robber’s heads getting bashed into your kitchen counter made you wince.
🍗-You wanted to get up and get away from everything but your body was in shock and it wouldn’t let you do anything but clutch the crimson feathers to your chest. Your other hand was rested on your stomach.
🍗-You tried to warn them. Nothing was more dangerous than someone harming a pregnant Alphas mate. You were still pretty early along so they might not have been able to smell it in your scent.
🍗-You Alpha was sure able to, the instant he got a small whiff of it he was chirping happily against your stomach. You had a hard time getting out of his ruby wings that day.
🍗-“You DARE harm my mate and chick!” You felt the pure rage behind his words.
🍗-The blond was already passed out on the floor, his front teeth knocked out. The brunette was about to pass out with him, your Alpha choking him with his shirt. He made sure to use his feather to cut up his arms and face.
🍗-His wings behind him puffing up and flapping angrily.
🍗-“Didn’t know...” The brunette slurred, his head bashed in as much as his friend’s head.
🍗-If they wanted to hit his Omega on the head then he was all too pleased to return the favor. The brunette finally succumbed to his injures and blood loss, he went slack in Kei’s hands.
🍗-Kei dropped him to the grown without care.
🍗-“Pathetic.” He hissed.
🍗-His head snapped up in your direction once he heard your tiny sniffles. He was at your side in an instant.
🍗-“Oh, baby bird.” He cooed, lifting you from the chair and wrapping his arms and wings around you.
🍗-“Alpha, I told them to leave.” You whined, snuggling into his chest.
🍗-“I know, baby bird.” He soothed, breathing in your scent, checking on the baby chick in your belly. They seemed well. He was still gonna fly you to the hospital. He made his way to the balcony outside and spread his wings, without a second thought he jumped.
***
🍗-“Don’t worry, Omega. I already ordered some new blankets. They should be here by tomorrow. I hope you don’t mind the guest bedroom for now.” He hummed, he was curled around your balled up form.
🍗-You didn’t even build the nest surrounding you, Kei delicately dropped you down on the bed and instantly began building the nest. He would angrily chirp if you so much as lifted a finger.
🍗-Everything was fine with you and the pup, or chick as Kei liked to call them. As soon as you arrived home Kei refused to leave your side or let you out of his sight.
🍗-You were not to roll over on your side without his permission.
🍗-“Thank you, Alpha.” You thanked, nuzzling your head into one of his soft wings.
🍗-“I also called a security company, they will be here to set up a new system tomorrow.” He informed, nuzzling into your hair.
🍗-One of his hands was tangled in your hair and the other was snugly cupping your stomach.
🍗-“No more Alphas in the house.” You sniffled, shaking your head.
🍗-“Of course, baby bird. I told them, beta’s only.” He reassured, kissing your head.
🍗-“I love you, Alpha.” You whispered, almost lulled to sleep.
🍗-“I love you, too baby bird.”
First HC I have done in a while, also the first time writing for Hawks! What did you think of him? I hope you enjoyed it! Please be sure to leave a comment and like! I really enjoy hearing your reactions. 💕

Pro Hero Dynamight was Japan’s Number Two Hero. Actually, he’d argue he was tied for first place with the current Symbol of Peace, Shitty Deku. Their victory statistics were basically the fucking same, the only difference was the freckled idiot was made of smiles and sunshine and stupid fucking sugar or something. The whole world ate out of his scarred, fucked up hand, and Darling Deku ate up all the media’s attention in return.
In contrast, Bakugo wasn’t a “people person,” as Deku loved to put it, but… he also wasn’t the same fifteen-year-old brat who got muzzled on live national television. Pro Hero Dynamight was known for his crass, blunt language, his vicious streak of justice when it came to villains, but people also looked up to him. Extras cheered for him in the streets as he exploded past mid-battle. Children ran up to him on patrol and asked him to sign their books, their photos, their Dynamight merch. On one memorable occasion, that he may or may not have saved on his computer, a national news channel ran a live clip from a disaster site, a villain attack turned rescue mission after a building collapsed. The soundbite was only thirty seconds, a close up of a pale, dusty woman with a shallow cut on her brow. The splash of crimson and her bloodshot blue eyes were the only spots of color on her, everything else washed out in white plaster and cement dust, tear tracks carving grooves down her cheeks.
But the smile on her face could have lit up goddamn Tokyo.
“Dynamight saved us,” the woman had said to the news reporter, her voice full of awe and tears. “I-I got stuck under some debris, but I heard the moment Dynamight arrived, and I just knew we were safe. The battle was over a minute later, and then he just… pulled me out of the wreckage. He pulled us all out. He’s… the greatest hero I’ve ever seen.”
That was a nice stroke to his ego. And the dazed woman had been right. He had pulled everyone out of that building, and not a single person died that day, which only confirmed what he already knew:
Katsuki Bakugo was the best of the best. Deku might have been the better show pony, but Dynamight was an undefeated hero, fierce, fearless, ferocious.
Except right now… he was fucking scared out of his mind.
This couldn’t be happening.
“What?” he snarled at the extra in the white coat standing before him.
The man flinched and visibly recoiled, shuffling back a step and partially ducking behind his tablet device. When he spoke again, he’d raised his voice an entire fucking octave.
“I-I’m sorry, sir,” the doctor stammered, but then he seemed to regain his composure and lowered his voice a little. “I… I wish I had better news for you, Dynamight, but…”
He trailed off and swallowed, the jut of his Adam’s apple bobbing beneath the thin skin of his throat.
“But what?” Bakugo spat, something like magma roiling in his veins, pops of heat crackling against his palms like splatters of hot oil from a stove.
“B-But this… can’t come as a complete shock to you,” the doctor said as he glanced back at his tablet. “Other physicians before myself must have warned you of the risks.”
The risks. Bakugo bared his teeth in a silent snarl. What did this fucking extra, with his soft hands and softer body, know about risks? The heat in his palms grew until he could see their red-hot glow out of the corner of his eye.
“Well, who and how much do I gotta pay to fix it?” Bakugo demanded as he shoved his hands in his pockets.
“That depends,” the doctor hedged and adjusted the square black glasses perched on his stupid face. “There are a variety of aid types—”
“I don’t want fuckin’ support gear or aids,” Bakugo sneered. “I want mine fixed.”
Now, the doctor’s face grew pitying. “I’m afraid that’s just not possible, given a number of factors, most importantly your current occupation.”
“My current occupation?” the hero seethed, teeth bared again like a wounded dog, a cornered wolf, snapping at the world. “Are you fucking KIDDING—”
A hint of fear sparked in the doctor’s eyes, but he suddenly raised a hand, palm out in the universal symbol for stop. “Dynamight, sir, I know this is distressing, but there are other sick patients in these walls, so please refrain from using your quirk.”
“I’m not usin’ shit,” Bakugo snapped, but then the doctor’s eyes flicked downward, and Bakugo followed them to his hands, wreathed in sparks and flares of flames, lit up like a fucking Christmas tree.
The breath stuttered in Bakugo’s lungs.
He hadn’t even felt himself call upon his quirk.
Even worse… he hadn’t heard it when he did.
He dropped his hands quickly, shoving them back in his pockets. Bile rose in his throat, but he washed it down with blood as he bit through his tongue.
“There has to be… something,” he gritted out, curling his hands into fists in their confines. “A healer—”
“Healers are rarer than you think,” the doctor sighed and shook his head. “And what’s more, they’re usually specific and limited. Their abilities are tied to blood types or restricted to relatives or even limbs. One nurse here can only heal femur bones.”
“Bullshit they’re rare, I’ve met at least two goddamn healers just this month,” Bakugo spat. “These paramedics—”
“And how strong where they?” the doctor cut him off again, raising an eyebrow. “You said paramedics, so I’m going to assume their talents mostly lie in the superficial and basic: triage, stopping the bleeding, knitting skin back together, etc.”
“What’s your fucking point?” He was this close to punching the asshole right in the glasses.
“My point is the inner workings of your ear are much more delicate than a broken rib or lacerated arm,” the doctor said in a really condescending tone that Bakugo did not appreciate. “But let’s say you do find a healer specific enough and skilled enough to restore the hearing you have already lost without damaging anything else in the process. What then? I don’t imagine Japan’s Number Two Hero retiring less than ten years after his debut and hanging up his quirk.”
Bakugo scowled, heart kick-starting in his chest, his gut tying itself in a knot.
No. No, that wasn’t possible. Katsuki Bakugo was a hero, the best of the best. It was all he’d ever wanted, and he would be damned if it was taken from him.
The doctor must have seen as much on the blond’s face because he sighed and adjusted his glasses again. “Exactly. Which means you’re just going to keep destroying your ears again and again, and even if say Recovery Girl was still alive, the repetitive healing sessions would destroy your own body’s healing factor, and after a while, you would still lose you’re hearing.”
“Tch.” Bakugo looked away and gritted his teeth so hard they ached.
The doctor sighed. “You’re already at moderate hearing loss, Dynamight, so while we do still have some options, they are limited. Honestly… I’m surprised you didn’t come in sooner.”
He should have. He fucking should have. He’d been noticing little things for years, but he just brushed it off, yelled at Deku to speak the fuck up and stop mumbling, told himself his phone must be a piece of shit and that’s why he didn’t hear a call or message. The low persistent ringing he’d been experiencing since UA was harder to write off, but after a while, it was also easier to ignore.
Then, on his last mission, Bakugo was shoving some weak ass villain at a couple of cops. The battle had lasted less than five minutes, and he was still itching for a fight, his quirk burning just beneath the surface of his skin, like embers waiting to explode back into flame. In the next moment, a hand had suddenly clamped down on his shoulder from behind, and he’d reacted out of reflex, flipping his attacker over his shoulder and nearly blasting them in the gut for good measure.
“Whoa! Fuck, dude, it’s me!” Kirishima had yelped, his skin rippling and hardening in an instant. Wide, red eyes gaped up at him, and Japan’s Number Three Hero even looked a little worried. “Didn’t you hear me? I called your name like five times.”
Bakugo had dropped Red Riot like he was on fire. No. No, Dynamight hadn’t heard his patrol partner. In fact, all he could hear in the moment was the muted wailing of sirens, the low murmur of shouting extras, and the blood roaring in his head.
Now, two days later he was standing in front of a doctor who was telling him there was nothing more they could do.
But that was fucking unacceptable. He couldn’t lose his hearing. What kind of shitty hero would he be if he couldn’t hear where the villains were in battle or where stupid extras in need of saving were in rescue situations?
He wouldn’t be a hero at all, just a fucking liability.
Bakugo tried to imagine having to retire, to hang up his hero costume, to leave Shitty Hair in charge of their joint agency. What would he do? He’d wanted, and planned, to be a hero since he was five years old. He had no other skills, not really. It wasn’t like he could work a damn desk job. Well, UA might throw him a bone, offer him a pity faculty position.
The thought left a sour taste in his mouth.
“What… are my options?” he asked haltingly as he snapped his eyes up and locked gazes with the doctor. “You said I still had some.”
The man in the white coat blinked in surprise, but then he straightened up and tapped at his tablet. “Currently, you have a few options, but you’d receive the best outcome if we did them all together. First, we can get you fitted for some hearing aids for you to wear while you are off duty. They would significantly increase your hearing capacity in your normal day-to-day life.”
Bakugo felt his face pull into a scowl. “Off duty? I need them while I’m on duty!”
“If you wear them while using your quirk, you’ll ruin the rest of your hearing in one blow,” the doctor said with a straight face. “Hearing aids amplify sounds. Amplifying your explosions is the last thing we want.”
“Well, what the fuck am I supposed to do then?” the hero snapped, heat flaring through his body with a supernova.
“Since I assume you’re going to continue your hero work, I would recommend contacting a support gear company.” The doctor made a note on his tablet. “We’ll email you the contact information for several companies the hospital has connections with, and once you chose one, we can send them your file. There are numerous noise-cancelling devices out there, but given your situation, you will probably need to collaborate with them for something custom. The goal is to having something to protect your ears-- a helmet, headphones, anything really—while you are using your quirk. Between such a device and the hearing aids, I hope we can preserve what’s left of your hearing and maybe give you a little bit back. But I will warn you… you’re hearing will never be as it was. You should know that now.”
You’re hearing will never be as it was.
You’re hearing will never be as it was.
You’re hearing will never be as it was.
The words cycloned through Bakugo’s head, round and round and round, destroying every other thought in their path. He felt detached from himself, the doctor’s voice fizzling out into a muffled drone. His vision seemed to narrow and darken, like he was viewing the world at the end of a very long and dark tunnel. One minute, he was standing there in that examine room, and then he blinked and was on the street, people rushing past him like a river unbothered by the boulder in its current.
He glanced down at his hand, at the paperwork for his follow up appointment and his fitting for the hearing aids. Heat squirmed under his skin, in his veins, like something living, something that wanted to get out.
Bakugo bared his teeth, crumpled the paper in his fist, and let the heat rush through his body, down through his arm, and into his hand. He didn’t hear the crackle, but he saw the flares of light, trapped between his palm and the paperwork like fireflies.
Then he opened his hand, and he watched the wind catch the ash and carry if off down the street, out of sight.
He needed a fucking drink.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Several hours later, Bakugo stumbled out of his usual dive bar, the taste of whisky still burning a hole through the back of his throat. The night was colder than he anticipated, colder than it should be for the beginning of autumn, and he grumbled and cursed as he hunched against the wind. He squinted at his phone, debating on whether to call a car, but in the end it was too much trouble. He was less than a half an hour’s walk from his apartment, and it was late, so he wouldn’t have to worry about extras coming up to him for photos or goddamn autographs.
Besides, the whisky hadn’t helped to quench the heat writhing through his veins, in fact the alcohol only made it worse. Bakugo felt restless, all pins and needles and ants, so maybe the brisk walk would burn off some of that energy.
Decided, Bakugo turned in the direction of home and began the long, stumbling journey through the midnight streets.
Time passed as sluggishly as his feet, which he made sure to stare down at so he didn’t trip over them. Like he anticipated, he passed no one on the sidewalks, and few cars rumbled past him. It wasn’t surprising, this neighborhood was mostly shops that closed by sundown and a few residences. The dive bar he’d left was a holdover from past decades when this side of town was rougher, but Bakugo suspected the old man who owned the joint would live on for at least another decade, if only to spite the development companies that kept trying to buy him out. The ornery bastard was half the reason Bakugo loved that bar, the other half being their decent whisky and usually empty stools.
“Shit,” he mumbled as he suddenly slipped, tittering on the edge of the curb.
He shook his head and managed to regain his balance, but when he took another step, he wobbled again.
“Come on, you drunk idiot,” he hissed at himself as he stumbled once more.
Except… he’d been standing still that time.
“Hah?” Bakugo squinted down at his feet.
The pebbles around his shoes rattled and jumped. He didn’t think he was that drunk, but he slapped his cheek with a bit of heat to his palm. The snap of warmth and pain woke him up a little, but when he glanced back down at the ground, everything was still moving.
“What the fu—”
Then the road undulated under his feet like a living thing, and the shockwave hit him a moment later.
Bakugo barked a curse as he was bucked several feet into the air, twin explosions blooming from his palms so he could right himself and land on his feet. He snapped his head up as he skidded to a stop, and the breath stilled in his lungs.
Up ahead, a man stood in the middle of the intersection, staring down the road to Bakugo’s left. Black rubble and goo floated around him like asteroids trapped in a planet’s orbit, and even from a distance, Bakugo could see the crazed smile on the man’s pale, black-streaked face.
A moment later, several heroes lunged out from around the corner and barreled straight for the villain, only to be blasted backwards as the villain flung out his hands and commanded the black debris and goo to slam into the idiots.
The villain threw back his head and seemed to laugh maniacally. Bakugo couldn’t hear it, but that didn’t matter. Lava was starting to boil in his veins, burning off the last of the whisky, and Dynamight felt an equally crazed smile stretch across his mouth.
This idiot had chosen the wrong road to fuck up tonight.
Heat condensed in his palms like collapsing stars, and then he was exploding forward, the taste of ozone and nitroglycerin on his tongue.
Within moments, Bakugo was able to determine the villain’s quirk revolved around asphalt. The bastard was able to pull large chunks of it out of the road and then liquify parts of them until they were scalding and sticky.
The other heroes—whoever they were, Bakugo didn’t even care to check—struggled to evade the villain’s attacks, but evasion wasn’t Dynamight’s style. He came at the bastard head on, exploding every rock and tar puddle in his way.
Of course, asphalt was flammable, so flames were flaring up all around the street now, but Bakugo wasn’t stupid enough to get burned. If the other heroes were, that was on them.
Dynamight was here to get the job done.
“Come here, ya sonvabitch,” Bakugo snarled as he blasted apart a chunk of asphalt aimed for his head.
The villain shrieked out something high-pitched that Bakugo didn’t catch, and then the fucker was swinging out his arm, a blob of black tar following the arc.
Bakugo let out a controlled burst toward his feet and backflipped through the air, crunching down on the roof of a parked car. He could see some of the other heroes waving at him from the corner of his eye, but he couldn’t hear what they were saying over the wailing of the car alarm below him.
The villain’s sneer was a white slash on his black, goo-streaked face, and Bakugo bared his teeth back in an expression halfway between a feral grin and a beast’s snarl. He could feel the heat crackling along his palms as he contemplated his next move, but then the villain shouted something, and all the asphalt floating in the air rocketed back towards him like the fucker was a magnet.
As Bakugo watched, the debris and goo coalesced into a singular shape, liquifying and hardening in turns until a giant black arm the size of a semi was hovering over the road. The fingers wiggled in a jaunty little wave as the villain shouted something again that was lost to the car’s still wailing alarm, and then the giant hand curled into a fist and dropped down on Bakugo like the hammer of some god.
He exploded out of the way and up into the air right before the fist smashed into the car he’d been standing on, and the siren cut out with a muffled crunch.
Bakugo had barely landed before the arm was shooting out again, but this time it wasn’t aimed for him.
A stupid fucking extra had stumbled out of one of the buildings and stood gaping like a goddamn moron on the sidewalk. Several of the on-scene heroes rushed forward, but the hand swatted them aside like annoying flies. The idiot civilian was still just standing there, though, and Bakugo found himself airborne before he could even process the thought.
“Run!” he roared as he reached the extra and shoved him out of the way, but an instant later, he felt stony fingers wrap around his torso and squeeze.
Bakugo wheezed out a curse as the giant hand lifted him into the sky, the pressure around his ribs increasing with every second. The asphalt was hot in some places, too, scalding the skin of his left arm where it was pinned against his hip. He wrenched his right arm around and tried to aim at the wrist of the asphalt appendage, but the angle was off, and the few chunks he was able to blast were quickly replaced by more rubble and boiling tar.
“Fuck!” Bakugo screamed as the fist clenched down around him. His ribs strained, his lungs unable to expand, pain licking at him like the flames flickering in his peripherals.
Distantly, he heard the villain’s laughter below him, and as the arm swayed to the side, Bakugo realized he was right above the bastard. His vision swam, his ribs screaming, his arm burning, but Bakugo gritted his teeth as he aimed his right palm down. He concentrated every ounce of his quirk into his hand until it glowed white-hot, and the asphalt around him began to liquefy again.
The villain’s eyes widened as he realized what the hero was doing, and the fucker wildly swung out his arm in a last-ditch effort. The giant asphalt limb responded in kind, but Bakugo unleashed his quirk right before the arm flung him through the air.
A massive explosion rocked the street an instant later, and the subsequent shockwave slammed into his back and propelled him through a window.
He felt the impact and pain as he struck the glass, and then…
Nothing.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Ouch, fuck!” you cursed as your pricked yourself for the millionth time.
A red drop of blood beaded up on the pad of your index finger, and you scowled before you sucked the smarting appendage into your mouth. It was more of a reflex than anything, since by the time you pulled your finger out, the pinprick of a wound was already healed. Healing such a small injury would usually barely even register to you, but the clock above your desk was inching closer and closer to midnight, and you’d been up since 6am. You also skipped dinner so you could finish altering the dress you were currently working on, which didn’t help your energy levels, but you were just a few stitches away from completing your task, so you hunched back over and powered through the next five minutes.
When you were finally done, you sat back in your chair with a sigh and threw down your needle and thread. The sewing table before you swam and doubled as your vision struggled to focus on something, and you rubbed at your tired, burning eyes. You always tried to work reasonable hours, have a healthy work-life balance, but somehow you always found yourself slaving away into the dark hours of the night. You tried to tell yourself it wasn’t your fault. You’d lived here less than a year, so you didn’t know many people beyond your few neighbors and the old ladies who frequented your alterations shop.
You were also trying very hard to keep your grandparents’ business afloat.
Your grandfather had been a tailor, your grandmother a seamstress. They’d opened a shop together over fifty years ago, and if your parents hadn’t moved to America before you were born, you were sure you father would have taken over the family business. In the end, though, after your grandparents passed, you were the one to take up the needle and pull up your roots. You’d always loved making your own clothes, and you’d always felt… disconnected in America. Nothing had ever felt… right, no matter how many jobs you hopped around to. The US had been the only home you’d ever known, but when you and your parents spoke Japanese together, it had made something ache deep in the center of you, something you couldn’t name or place.
So, when your father said he was taking a trip to the homeland to sell his parents’ shop, you’d gone with him and somehow convinced him to sign everything over to you. Which was more than just a little insane. Your prior work history had been in food service and clothing retail, and your degree was in linguistics for fuck’s sake. You had no idea how to run a business, let alone in another country. Thankfully, you spoke Japanese fluently, so that had been one less hurtle to overcome, but everything else had been a dramatic learning curve. Getting to know the new city, figuring out the currency, hell even navigating the vastly different social norms of Japanese culture was daunting, and you would be lying if you said you didn’t have numerous fumbles along the way.
It, everything, had definitely taken some getting used to.
Now, a year later, things were just starting to really look up. You had used most of the money your grandparents left you to renovate the shop, get new equipment, and fix the upstairs apartment you lived in. About two dozen loyal customers helped to pay your bills and keep you afloat, and one-to-two new customers walked into your shop each month just on word of mouth. You weren’t rich by any means, but you weren’t struggling like you did in America. You felt… happy here, if a little tired. Fulfilled.
That might also have had something to do with your little… side business.
You bit your lip as your eyes shot to your window guiltily, like someone was watching you. You weren’t doing anything wrong—right now, anyways—but for the last six months, it’s been hard to shake off your paranoia.
And your guilt. Which was ridiculous. You weren’t hurting anyone. In fact, you were doing the exact opposite.
But it was still against the law. Here in Japan, at least.
That was another thing that took some getting used to. The Japanese government had strict laws on quirk usage, unlike in America where everything was about individualistic rights. In Japan, only heroes were given almost free reign, but even they had some restrictions on when and how they could use their powers.
For the rest of the Japanese populace, using quirks in day-to-day life, without official permission, was frowned upon at best and illegal at worst.
Because of your specific quirk, you leaned more toward the illegal side of things.
Healing quirks were rare. That’s what you’d been told all your life. Your mother’s quirk was the ability to lower fevers by somehow using her own body to regulate the temperature. Nothing super special or powerful, but she’d gone on to become a pediatric nurse, so she had used her quirk to its fullest and made a long, happy career for herself.
When you were young and your quirk manifested, you thought you would follow in your mother’s footsteps.
But as a teenager, you’d come to some hard realizations about yourself.
One, you weren’t strong enough to be a hero. You’d tried to get into a hero course in the States, several in fact. One course rejected you solely on your application, and then you failed two entrance exams. It had been a devastating blow to your youthful dreams and self-esteem, but your mother encouraged you, said being a hero wasn’t the only way to use your quirk for good.
So, you turned your focus to medicine… and quickly discovered that wasn’t right for you, either. Your mother hated when you said this but… you just weren’t smart enough. You had tried, really did, but everything was such a struggle, like Sisyphus slogging uphill through the mud. It just didn’t click for you like it did for your mom. You also hated to admit it, but you were a little squeamish. You were fine with small stuff, cuts and bruises, broken fingers, but once you had to dissect a large pig in an anatomy class, and the smell and weight of the pig’s slippery organs in your hands made your lunch rise up into the back of your throat. You somehow managed to make it through the class, but directly after you ran to the bathroom and emptied your own guts into the toilet.
With your dreams of being a hero and doctor dashed, you’d been a little aimless in college, taking random courses to fill your time and see if anything spoke to you. Then, during an 8am linguistics lecture you signed up for on a whim, something ignited inside you. Languages spoke to you like science and medicine never did. So, you’d changed your major to linguistics, minored in Japanese to feel closer to your parents, and took ever other language credit you could get your hands on. In between classes, you’d taken up sewing again while you listened to your audio assignments. It was just something to keep your hands busy at first, a skill your father taught you as a child until you abandoned it, but then your roommates complimented your work and started asking you to hem their jeans or take in their skirts. They offered to pay you, but you always declined, saying it was no trouble, you liked the work, and you liked being able to help.
At some point, you realized that was all you had ever wanted to do. Help people. And if you couldn’t save them as a hero, you would find some other way to make yourself useful.
So, you studied languages in the hopes of being able to help others communicate. You altered your friends’ clothes and made them small things like a monogrammed scarf or mittens. And, occasionally, you healed your roommates’ hangovers or food poisoning, stopped the bleeding when they cut their fingers making dinner, pushing through their pain to make them whole again. It wasn’t a lot, nothing really, but it was something, and it made you feel purposeful.
When you moved to Japan, you mourned the loss of being able to use your quirk on others, but you shoved the thought aside and focused on your work and the shop and figuring out how to settle down in your first home on your own.
Then, six months after you took over the shop, Mrs. Kojima, a little old lady in her seventies, had brought in her grandchildren’s uniforms to be patched and altered. She’d known your grandparents for many years, so she was always kind and had a story to share with you about your father in his youth or the gorgeous dresses your grandmother used to make. You always looked forward to Mrs. Kojima’s visits, and she always had a way of making you feel younger than you were, but not in a bad way. She just made you feel… nostalgic and safe, like you were listening to your late grandma talk over the phone.
This was probably why, when Mrs. Kojima slipped and fell in front of your counter, you reacted without thinking. The old lady barely had time to hit the floor and cry out before you were hovering over her, a green aura illuminating your hands. Her pain hit you a moment later, like a heated slap to the face, a bone-deep ache in your leg, but you gritted your teeth and pushed through the discomfort. Then you moved your fingers over to the hip Mrs. Kojima was clutching, and a moment later you felt the drain as your energy siphoned into the elderly woman’s body. Thankfully, it had only been a fracture, not a full break, so you barely even felt the difference in your strength, but as Mrs. Kojima gaped up at you, realization struck you like a freight train.
You had used your quirk, without a license, without permission, hell without the consent of Mrs. Kojima. Healing quirks were illegal for a reason, so many things could go wrong, and you weren’t properly trained. Your breathing hitched as panic seized your heart, squeezing like a vise, and your entire world had just begun to crash down around your ears when Mrs. Kojima sat up and threw her arms around you.
“Thank you,” she’d sniffled into your hair in Japanese. “Thank you so much.”
After the initial shock wore off, you had helped Mrs. Kojima into a chair, and she’d continued to thank you over and over again, saying how money was tight and she would have hated to be a burden to her children with hospital bills and a long recovery. She talked about how a lot of her elderly friends were in similar positions, dealing with perpetual aches and pains but having no way to pay for treatment or seek relief.
The sadness in her face had twisted something in your chest, an ache you were all too familiar with. It was the one you felt after you failed the hero course entrance exams. The ache you felt when you realized you could never be a doctor. The ache of being helpless in the face of suffering.
Your mouth had opened without your permission, and you told Mrs. Kojima that you would help her, and her friends, whenever they needed it. The elderly Japanese woman tried to wave you off, saying she didn’t want to get you in any trouble, but you had just smiled and said, “I’m fine with making a little good trouble.”
You didn’t know where your courage had come from, but you let it carry you past your fears and doubts.
So, for the last six months, Mrs. Kojima had brought all of her friends, and sometimes their children and grandchildren, to you when they were in need of healing. They always brought dresses or pants or blouses for you to fix as a cover, and you did do alterations work for them, but you also eased flaring arthritis, cataracts, fevers, and scrapped knees in the backroom. You refused to take payment for these secret services, it just felt wrong, but the little old ladies somehow always snuck large “tips” into your register when you weren’t looking.
Mrs. Kojima and every one of her friends and family members swore to their ancestors to keep your secret, and you trusted them, but you still couldn’t help proverbially looking over your shoulder, holding your breath, waiting for the other shoe to drop and for the police to barge in and take you away.
It hadn’t happened yet, but the worry of it kept you up most nights, which was maybe another reason why you threw yourself into your work until you were so tired you just passed out.
You sighed again as you stretched and felt your back pop, releasing some of the tension in your spine. Glancing at the clock, you saw it was just past midnight, and you winced. You had to be up at five tomorrow—today, now—because Mr. Akane wanted to come in early before you opened the shop. His bad knee was giving him trouble again, an old injury he’d obtained as a boy. You were unable to fully reconstruct the joint—that took more strength and stamina than you currently possessed—but you were able to soothe his pain for weeks at a time, which he was immensely grateful for. He always brought you fresh fish when he came by, “gifts” he’d emphasized when you reminded him you didn’t take payment, and you’d be lying if you said you didn’t appreciate the gesture. You weren’t exactly hurting for money, but you also didn’t normally splurge on fish caught just that morning, and you told yourself you deserved the small treat. Besides, the protein helped boost your energy and stamina levels, which meant you could heal more people, so really Mr. Akane was merely investing in his future treatments.
Your stomach grumbled at the thought of food, and you dragged yourself out of your chair before picking your way across your messy apartment to the kitchen. The apartment wasn’t very large, one large space for kitchen, dining, and living room, with one small bedroom and one bathroom down a hallway to the right when you walked in the front door. But it had been your grandparent’s home for many years before they bought a larger house after having your father, and it sat right above the shop, so you never had to worry about running late for work.
Bolts of fabric, some client pieces, and a few of your own personal sewing projects were strewn over every available surface of the main room, but you had the cleared path through the chaos memorized, so you were tossing leftovers in the microwave barely thirty seconds later. The warmed-up curry and rice—another “gift” from Mrs. Kojima—tasted as good as it had the last several days, and you hummed as the spiced meat slid down your throat and settled in your belly. After the first bite, your hunger seemed to hit you in full force, and you scarfed down every last bite in a matter of minutes. When you were done, the minor headache that had been pulsing behind your eyes abated, and you yawned as you rinsed off the dishes.
You set the damp plate on the edge of the counter as you reached for a towel, but then a sudden tremor, followed by a loud boom, seemed to shake the building, and the plate tittered on the counter’s edge for a moment before it crashed to the floor.
“Fuck!” you gasped as you jumped back and away from the ceramic shards, but another tremor-boom combo had you stumbling, and you scrambled to grab the back of the couch so you didn’t fall on your ass.
Your wide eyes took in the broken plate scattered at your feet before they jumped to the window on the opposite side of the room. The night sky was dark beyond, cut only by the dim street light just beyond the window’s view. You held your breath as your heart hammered in your ears, the hair on the back of your neck prickling, sweat slicking your palms.
What the fuck was that? Your first thought was earthquake—you hadn’t experienced one yet, but you knew they were common in Japan—but then you remembered the booms.
Maybe… maybe an electrical box blew? But no, the lights were still working. A car crash?
Then another boom vibrated you down to your very bones, and you fell to one knee as the breath hitched in your lungs.
That sounded… closer.
With your heart in your throat, you half scrambled, half crawled the last few feet to your window, and you peeked your head over the sill just as a flash off white-hot light lit up the night sky.
“Shit!” You squinted your eyes against the glare as you leaned back from the window, but then you saw a shadow streak through the air before it crashed into a car just at the edge of your peripherals.
You had the distant thought that Mr. Takeyoshi’s vehicle was very obviously totaled before you realized the thing that had crashed into the car was a person.
Your jaw gaped open as a hero pulled himself from the wreckage and shook his head groggily. The shadows—only broken by more flares of light as more explosions and fire seemed to erupt along the street—made it difficult to tell how injured the hero was. You didn’t recognize their yellow and teal costume, but you saw patches of blood along the hero’s bulky frame, and bile burned at the back of your teeth.
Holy shit. This wasn’t an accident. It was a villain attack.
Just as you had the thought, another explosion rattled your windows, making your ears ring, and you snapped your head to the side to see a man standing in the middle of the road about half a block down.
The man—villain, you realized quickly—swung his arms around like a conductor of an orchestra, but his instruments seemed to be the black rocks and liquid swirling around him. The debris glistened like an oil slick in the light of the flames, and as you watched, the villain shouted something and slashed his arm through the air.
Then a figure suddenly exploded onto the scene, lunging out from the shadows in a flare of white-hot light. It moved too fast for you to track, but the villain swung his arm again, and rocks and viscous black goo shot toward the figure still in mid-air.
A futile scream of warning caught in your throat, but then the figure seemed to explode and backflip through the air, landing on his feet but crushing the roof of a car beneath his boots. The wailing of the car’s alarm split the air, and you clenched your teeth until they ached.
The flames illuminated this new man’s face, a snarl of white teeth against the flames and smoke, but only the barest hint of recognition flared through you before everything exploded into chaos again. Another shout from the villain had all the rocks and black slime streaking back towards him, and you watched in horror as a stony black arm fifty feet long formed above the ruined street.
You knew you should be running, trying to find cover, calling the police, but you were glued there, on your knees before the window, you fingers digging grooves into the sill.
The next fifteen seconds seemed to simultaneously happen in slow motion and at hyper speed.
The giant rocky hand wiggled its fingers before it curled into a fist and slammed down on the wailing car and the man atop it.
The man—hero, you distantly thought, although your chaotic thoughts still couldn’t place him—launched up into the air with another explosion that rattled your windows, the car alarm cutting off as the vehicle was crushed an instant later.
The blond skidded into a landing half a dozen yards away, but then you suddenly saw Mr. Takeyoshi standing on the street, a ghostly apparition framed by smoke and flames.
You blinked, and the giant hand shot toward Mr. Takeyoshi, batting away several more heroes who tried to intervene.
Then the explosive hero was just there, pushing Mr. Takeyoshi out of the way, right before the hand wrapped around him.
You could hear the hero’s anguished scream through your window as he was crushed in the fist’s grip, and the sound hit you right in the solar plexus, knocking the breath out of you, bruising your insides, the pain settling into the familiar ache of being helpless in the face of suffering.
You watched uselessly as the hero was lifted up into the sky, struggling, setting off explosions left and right. Then the massive arm seemed to pause in the middle of the road, right above the villain, and your eyes locked onto the hero, his pale hair and skin stark against the black, rocky hand that held him trapped.
In the next instant, a white light, like a star going supernova, bloomed to life around the hero, illuminating the white slash of his snarling teeth before it became too bright for you to take. You slammed your eyes shut against the burning light, and the hair on the back of your neck stood on end, like the moment before lightning struck, as you dropped to the floor below your window.
Then the world exploded, the building shaking to its foundations, right before the window burst into a million shards of glass.

Bakugo has ADHD and is on the Autistic spectrum
Tumblr media
Bakugo appears to be a well functioning teenage boy that just so happens to lack the common regulation of emotions. We see him losing his cool, throwing fits and just having a breakdown when things don’t go his way.
Now we pause this program to bring some light onto the importance of these next few images. I am going to bring out some quotes (woah so cool) to further my point.
“He performs masculinity properly via intelligence and aggression, but fails to perform socially. Because of his gendered performance, no authority figure is shown trying to teach him... he seems to be labeled as ‘difficult’ or praised for his power.”
Tumblr media
He was praised for his strong abilities yet discarded as unteachable for his lack of empathy and regulated emotions after they molded him to be that way.
“Bullying Deku or having a literal explosion quirk, but again, gender performance & ableism.”
Tumblr media
This just furthers that idea.
As shown during the sports festival on multiple occasions, his meltdowns. The first instance being right after he loses whatever that damn chicken race contest was.
He was on the floor and was clearly upset by the loss. Going as far as yelling in his Bakugo fashion out of frustration.
I cut the audio because it was ear splitting
The second piece of evidence will have to be his fight with Todoroki and the aftermath.
Tumblr media
You could hear it in his voice as he yelled at Todoroki— his limp ass self — and demanded he wake up and do it right. If Todoroki didn’t do it correctly in the way Bakugo expected and rationalized as normal then it throws him off.
Tumblr media
Bakugo was having an “emotional crisis” because Todoroki refused to fight with his full power. He craved to fight, it’s what he does and feels right doing. It’s how he expresses himself and his emotions. It’s how he was molded and rewarded for acting on. To have someone not fulfill that “it’s what you’re supposed to do” feeling and disrupt that process then it’s reasonable as to why he was having a breakdown.
“Neurodivergence is criminalized by society”
Tumblr media
Now... due to the breakdown they restrained him like some uncontrollable misbehaving nuisance. Not very cash money of them.
Tumblr media
Don’t even get me started on the similarities and how wrong it was because YOU KNOW I WILL.
Now I know what you all must be thinking, “Dio, is that all you’ve got? There has to be more.” Well obviously there is more, have you seen my other Todoroki-Dio theory posts? Hush and let me finish.
I’ve heard people with ADHD have rooms that are incorporated with its own clutter system to ensure everything is found— no matter how chaotic it appears to others.
Ring a bell?!?!?!?
Tumblr media
Ok yeah it might just be trashed....
really trashed.....
but Shh...
Tumblr media
Anyway
Bakugo gets angry and has outbursts over small things. He has an incredibly hard time with rejection. Very competitive, his one thing he hyper focuses on is becoming a pro hero and improving himself. Has little patience and tends to talk over others with the need to be heard.
ALSO. and you know it’s not a good post without PAIN SO—
Bakugo got extremely emotionally overwhelmed and started having an emotional breakdown/crisis after watching All Might’s battle. Now a lot went into that scene and the ones leading up to it.
Tumblr media
At first he was angry and had that fight with Midoriya. I view it as his overwhelming feelings of guilt and despair being unable to regulate and process correctly. Resulting in his overall angry blowout then finally a emotional release. Letting his feelings out.
And one last thing for the road.... his entire personality is just a special interest. nEED I SAY MORE?
I’m sure I could say more but I made this at 5 am so I won’t. There might be spelling errors so close your eyes and move on
But of course as I’ve said before.
SMACK MY ASS, CALL ME SHOTO AND SAY IT’S MY POWER. I think I’ve done it again.
.......................................................................................
Now I’m not a genius nor am I very versed in this but I know what I’ve heard and learned on my own so correct me and add on if you’d like.
The quotes were taken from here

mha/bnha fic recs (part 1)
i have way too many kiribaku fic recs, so imma get these out of the way first. edit: starred ones are my personal favorites (forgot to explain, sorry!)
bakugou / kirishima (kiribaku)
*No Secrets to Success by kingdoms (~8k)
“Hey!” Kirishima says brightly, stepping sideways to be directly in the guy’s path. “I know you!”
“Fuck off,” the guy snarls, pushing past him and barely slowing down.
Kirishima is forced to start his first semester at UA two months late. Somehow he still meets Bakugou Katsuki, makes the most of those two months, and gains a tutor, a best friend, and an exciting way to scandalize his new peers. Canon AU where Kirishima and Bakugou become friends before Kirishima meets the rest of Class 1-A.
*(Distance Makes the Heart Grow Fonder) FALSE by dragontrappedinhumanskin (~46k)
When Bakugo and Kirishima get hit by a quirk that forces them to literally stick together or face the less then desirable consequences, how the fuck is Bakugo supposed to keep his crush hidden?! Well, turns out he never needed to.
-- “Well, this fucking sucks, how are we supposed to train?!” "Really closely?"
Exception by saruma_aki (~5k)
Bakugou knew that certain things Kirishima would never personally agree with, just like the same applied for Bakugou in regards to Kirishima. But it was why they worked together so well.
Kirishima never hesitated to call Bakugou out on shit, and Bakugou always returned the favor. They engaged in their own personal sort of system of checks and balances, keeping each other in line, providing a unique sort of support.
They were each other’s best friend.
adamantine by KBstories (~3k)
"Kirishima Eijirou knows what it feels like to shatter into pieces.
It's been a long road from the days he assumed he wouldn't; since he hardened his skin to stone, and called himself Unbreakable. There's courage in fear, he realizes now, something to be gained in loss, in defeat.
Red Riot knows how to shatter apart, and keep standing."
In which Kirishima refuses to go down in a fight, and Bakugou falls in love all over again.
i love kiri angst, sorry not sorry.
[please don't] think of me by Grimmseye (~5k)
Kirishima takes a breath. He realizes, suddenly, that he’d stopped altogether, and gulps in the next several inhales as he hits the streets at a hurried pace. The babble keeps up, the voices change, but no one is talking. He can hear them like they’re speaking directly into his ears, but the lips that move don’t match up with the words.
It hits him: He’s not hearing their voices, then. A sick feeling curls in his guts.
These are thoughts.
About him.
more kirishima angst
Quietly by chezka (~22k)
“We’ve been taking the same way to and from school for weeks,” Kirishima grinned, and then when Bakugou frowned at him he put on an affected pout, tilted his head so that he was looking at him through his thick, long lashes, “you never noticed? Am I that easy to miss?”
He could barely finish the sentence before a laugh escaped his lips, and Bakugou rolled his eyes, hit him with a shoulder a little more violently than necessary.
“You stick out like a sore thumb, broom-head,” he grumbled, promptly ignoring Kirishima's whining about his hairstyle when it started coming, “I didn’t notice ‘cause I didn’t care.”
“And now you do?”
*a godless society by aloera (~4k)
“You’re like an uncracked pistachio,” Bakugou says. Kirishima tilts his head. “Yeah?” Bakugou nods, decisively. “Unbreakable.” And Kirishima blushes.
Wherein Class 1-A has been attacked by the League of Villains on at least four separate occasions and Bakugou and Kirishima's relationship is still the worst thing to happen this year.
crack/humor. the amount of serotonin i got reading this fic oh my god.
what we deserve by aloera (~4k)
“Never have I ever met my soulmate,” Uraraka says. Katsuki freezes. It’s so fucking stupid, this is a dumbass game and he could most definitely lie and nobody would even know– Drunk Katsuki takes a sip and the room goes silent. At his side, Eijirou goes rigid.“Sorry, Katsuki, what?” “Oh boy,” Mina whistles.
Katuki's timer goes off at USJ. Eijirou's does not.
oof, some more angst.
sugar cookies by aloera (~8k)
Bakugou and Kirishima accidentally get married in Vegas. They don't annul it.
they’re so oblivious.
how they got detention for a week by eggstasy (~5k)
This is getting serious. Kaminari likes Bakugou well enough, as another individual in his class who is generally more capable than most of them and hasn’t yet tried to murder him personally, but that’s about where his good will ends. Especially where his best dudefriend is concerned (aside from Sero, but Sero isn’t a common sense deviant like Kirishima tends to be. Kirishima needs the supervision).
Oh my God, they were soulmates by idioticfangirl (~18k)
After the appearance of quirks, a new mutation arose, one to calm the mayhem that came with the powers. Each person had a soulmate, someone who fitted them perfectly, and the soulmate had the ability to temporarily null their powers, when they wanted.
Bakugo hates the idea of soulmates. No-one but him should have control of his power, control of him. He vows that when he finds his soulmate he’ll cut them off. He’s determined to never let them into his life.
Then he meets him.
back to back by newamsterdam (~4k)
The gesture had been telling. Now both of his parents are looking at his back, seeing the intricate pattern of marks printed against his skin. The red line that starts at the base of his spine, working its way up his back, entwined with different images. There must be a new one, now, imprinted right where the pain had just been.
“When exactly were you going to tell us about this?” his mother asks, eyes wide but lips pulling into a smirk. Bakugou knows that expression well, because it’s the same one he makes when he’s caught off-guard by something that pleases him and is trying to save face.
Great. Now his mother’s never going to shut up about his stupid soulmate.
After you meet your soulmate, your lives together are mapped across your skin in the form of soulmarks. Bakugou's been getting soulmarks since he started at UA, but he's not quite ready to accept what that means.

Bakugou’s hands are made for winning.
They’re made to reach for victory, to grab what they want and refuse to let go.
Bakugou’s hands are not made for holding. They’re not made to cradle, or to help. His hands are calloused and rough. They are not meant to cherish, to be gentle, to be safe.
When he’s not using them to blast his opponents to dust, he keeps them sheathed in his pockets like the weapons they are. A gesture of goodwill—a handshake, from him, would be deadly. His hands are deadly.
And that’s how he likes it.
That is, until Kirishima.
*just give me something to believe in by multiclassmaps (~12k)
Kirishima falls in love with a boy who speaks with his explosions and boasts dreams of heroism, even though such power and plans are forbidden. - The only times Bakugou spoke genuinely positively were of the victories of vigilantes reported on in the news; the only times he seemed genuinely alive were when he was using his quirk.
And when he was with Kirishima.

WOAH WOAH is your MHA reqs open?? So I wanted to request a Todoroki x Reader Angst where Todoroki sees his s/o getting stabbed by a villain with countless sharp spears like in Chiaki’s death video in danganronpa along with 1-A and just loses it? I’m sorry I’m craving for angst rn ✨✨ also love your writing and remember to stay safe <33 💕💗
My requests are open yes!! I have actually missed receiving them (and tbf I’m prolly not getting them because I’m doing daily updates on History of Us hahaha). So thanks for the request anon. I’m also really touched that you love my writing 🥰 I hope this lives up to your impression of me!
I had never seen danganropa but I just looked up what you were talking about and w o w I am in ✨pain✨ 🥲 I’ve got you anon. It’s going to hurt but I got you. Did I drag out (y/n)’s last words? Yes. Would they realistically already have died before saying all that I have them say? Probably. But this is fanfic and if movie writers can do it then goddamn it so can I!
CW for angst, somewhat graphic description of major character injury and death (reader), non-major character death, and canon typical violence
Nothing has been the same since the fall of the hero commission and the loss of faith in the Symbol of Peace’s generation of heroes. It’s been two years since Shigaraki wreaked havoc and Dabi exposed Endeavor’s crimes. As pros unused to that level of violence retired or quit, hero class students have been forced to step up and fill in the spaces they left behind. As a result, even as their faith in the pros waned, the public started to see the students as a beacon of hope. All Might, they whisper, spoiled the current generation of heroes. They argue that Endeavor is now too old to keep up, that Hawks and Mirko are too burdened by their mentors’ failures, and all the heroes aged in between are too used to the relative peace of the golden era to be effective. These current students though? Students like the famous UA hero class A, now third years who’ve already seen so much? They are the new hope. They’d grown up in the fires of a post-symbol of peace era and as such they are the only ones who can drag society out of it. It would be flattering if not for the overwhelming pressure that comes along with it.
Shoto thinks he would have been crushed beneath that pressure if not for you.
The two of you had started growing close your first year during the provisional license exam make up classes. Spending so much additional time together over the weekend had allowed Shoto to slowly open up to you until a beautiful friendship had blossomed. Even still, both of you had secretly yearned for something more. It was only after the destruction of Jaku City and the Todoroki family secrets were aired to the whole of Japan that the two of you finally acted on your feelings. You’d been such a source of support for him afterwards that eventually he hadn’t been able or willing to hold back any longer and had confessed his feelings to you late one night in the dorms. The two of you have been together ever since and fully intend to open a hero agency together after graduation. He knows the two of you are still young but sometimes when he looks at you with your blinding smile or when you’re sleeping peacefully beside him, he swears he can hear wedding bells. If the civilians of Japan can consistently forget how young you all are as they urge you to take over for the pros, then it seems only fair he should be able to forget too.
His mother was ecstatic when he asked her about engagement rings. Endeavor had said it was too early, that marriage is too large a commitment to make at 18 years old, but Shoto insisted and eventually a compromise was reached. He’ll wait until after graduation but then he’s determined to make you his forever and always.
It’s an otherwise normal Saturday afternoon in the dorms when Iida and Momo get an urgent distress signal to gather the entirety of the class and head into the city. A large group of ragtag criminals, determined to become the next League of Villains, is terrorizing Musutafu and the number of casualties is climbing rapidly. The other heroes usually responsible for that area had been called away to handle a different disaster and all attempts made by the civilians to defend themselves had only led to more chaos. The entire class mobilized in seconds. Calls like this aren’t uncommon now. The villains have been banding together more and their bloodlust seems to have grown exponentially with civilians’ continued lack of trust in the current pros. By the time you all arrive to the scene there’s no time to waste. “Be careful,” you tell Shoto, carefully running a hand through his hair before resting it on his cheek. He brings his hand up to cover yours before promising, “I will.” He presses a kiss to your palm but before he can do more Bakugo sharply barks “Hurry it up lovebirds we got a fucking job to do!” before racing off. You both know he’s right. “I love you,” you tell Shoto. “Love you too,” he promises before you both steel yourselves and then take off into the fray.
It’s an absolutely grueling battle. Every time someone takes one villain down, another comes to take their place. “Pinky! On your left!” you call out, causing your classmate to sharply turn. Mina just manages to dodge a punch one of the villains throws her way and swiftly counteracts with an attack of her own, calling out a thanks. There’s no time to breathe though and almost as soon as you’re done warning Mina, you have to dive in to keep another villain off Ojiro’s back. It’s chaotic but slowly you’re starting to pick away the forces as many of the remaining villains start fleeing. Once it looks like they’ve all retreated you instinctively look for Shoto, having not seen him since the fighting had properly started. You catch sight of him and heave a sigh of relief. You call out his name to catch his attention and although he initially offers you a soft smile you notice his eyes suddenly widen. “(Y/n) behind you!” he calls out.
Every moment after that seems to happen in slow motion.
You turn around just in time for a spear to fire clean through your shoulder, knocking you off balance. You start to fall backwards but before you can even hit the ground at least a dozen more rise up from the asphalt and impale your body. You hear Shoto’s broken cry of your name but it sounds so distant to you. After a moment stuck in place the spears suddenly drop back into the ground. Shoto is next to you in a second, pulling your broken body close as you bleed out. One of your other classmates tries to call for medical support but all he can focus on is you and the sheer amount of blood you’re losing. Shoto knows his training. He knows that when a victim has been stabbed it’s crucial to put pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding, but how can he when there’s so many fucking wounds. “You’re going to be ok. You’re going to be ok. You’re going to be ok.” He says it over and over again like a mantra. It’s both a plea to you and a desperate attempt to deny the harsh reality that the love of his life is bleeding out in his arms.
You press a bloody hand to his cheek, looking lovingly up at the man you’d do anything for, and shush him quietly. “Sho,” you rasp, voice already weak as your body tries and fails to cope with your injuries. “Don’t,” he warns. “Sho, baby, look at me,” you try again but he shakes his head, shutting his eyes tightly as tears start to run down his cheeks. “Please?” you ask and he can’t deny you, never could, so he opens his eyes and looks down at your glossy ones as you fight to stay awake just a little bit longer. “There they are. I always did love your eyes,” you tell him wistfully as your thumb strokes his cheek, smearing your blood there, though you don’t seem to notice. “You can’t leave me. You have to be ok,” he whispers but you shake your head. You can already feel yourself fading and with medical attention still several minutes out at least you know there’s no fixing this. “I need you to promise me something,” you tell him. “Anything,” he replies immediately and it brings a sad smile to your blood stained lips. “Promise you’ll find someone else after me,” you say and the scandalized look on his face would have probably made you laugh under different circumstances. “You’ve got too much love to give to let it die with me,” you tell him but he shakes his head again. “I could never love anyone else like I love you,” he swears and he means it with every fiber of his being. You chuckle wetly. “You always were stubborn. Fine, then promise to never forget me,” you compromise, tears welling in your own eyes now too. “I couldn’t even if I tried,” he swears before leaning down to press one last kiss to your lips. He can taste the tang of iron and feel your tears and his mingling on your cheeks. “I love you,” he whispers against your lips as he pulls away, but for the first time since he first said the words to you, you don’t say them back. “(Y/n)? Baby, I love you,” he tries again, pulling back to look at you properly now. Your eyes remain shut, your hand falling limp from his cheek, and when he looks to your chest the rise and fall of it has ceased.
Devastation claws up through him like a rabid animal, tearing him apart as his whole world shatters around him. He feels his grief like a physical ache in his chest, radiating out to each of his limbs as if every cell of his body is violently rejecting the fact that you’re gone. “Todoroki-kun?” Midoriya asks cautiously, putting a gentle hand on Shoto’s shoulder. Shoto’s head snaps up as he cradles you closer, as if scared your body will be taken away from him too. Before Midoriya can say whatever he was going to, Denki’s voice cuts through the tense silence. “I got him!” he crows, shoving the villain down to the ground in front of his classmates. Shoto’s eyes land on the villain and instantly his grief twists into a searing rage. He gently lays your body down but his eyes are cold and lethal as he stares down the man that took you away from him. Midoriya realizes what’s happening a beat too late and by the time he reaches out to grab Shoto, the grief stricken man has already launched himself at the villain and grasped hold of him. His right hand closes around the man’s throat, ice wrapping around it like a vice grip. He’s vaguely aware of his classmates calling his name but he doesn’t care. This man stole the love of his life from him. For that he will pay. Before Todoroki can finish the job he’s suddenly being yanked back by Midoriya and Bakugo. “Let go of me!” he demands as he fights against their hold, ignoring their warnings and empty platitudes. He manages to wrench his left arm free for a brief moment and that’s all he needs. His flames shoot out, preventing Midoriya from getting a good hold of him again, and the man who murdered you goes up in flame. His howls of pain echo around the buildings around them but the sound is music to Shoto’s ears. Let him suffer. It’s a fate he deserves.
His classmates watch on in stunned horror until the villain is burned down to ash. As his flames die out so too does all the fight seem to drain from Shoto as the crushing grief returns. Bakugo let’s him go once it’s clear he’s not a threat anymore and Shoto uses his freedom to drag himself back over to your lifeless body. It’s not fair. You’re so young. He’s so young. Why was this fight even you all’s responsibility in the first place? He’s been excitedly planning his proposal to you for weeks. Now he’ll have to plan a funeral. The thought makes him physically ill and he has to turn to the side as bile climbs up his throat and he retches onto the asphalt beside him.
How is he supposed to go on without you?
Midoriya returns a hand to his shoulder as the paramedics finally arrive. It’s too late. Far too late. One of them approaches cautiously and like a dog protecting his master Shoto immediately lashes out. “Don’t you fucking touch them,” he warns, eyes cold and voice lethal. The paramedic jerks backwards, his hands up in surrender, as he cautiously looks to the other class A students for advice. They have none. They’ve never seen Todoroki like this. They can’t even begin to imagine what he’s going through. It’s Eijirou who steps up in the end. He approaches Shoto carefully, as if his classmate is a feral animal, before kneeling down to his level. “They need to take (y/n) to the hospital on that stretcher over there,” Kirishima tells him carefully, jerking his head in the direction of the waiting ambulance. “Can you carry them there for the paramedics?” he asks. Shoto stares at Kirishima blankly as if trying to process his words before slowly nodding. “Ok. Let’s go then, yea?” Kiri asks. Another nod in response before Shoto carefully gathers you into his arms. He ignores the way your body has already started to go cold as he carries you over to the stretcher. He tries to pretend they’re just rushing you to the hospital, that they’re speeding you over to recovery girl and in a few hours time you’ll be tired but cheery, teasing him for being so worried about nothing. But as he lays you down and then watches them zip you up into a black bag, he knows it’s a hopeless fantasy. You’re gone and you’re never coming back.
A few days later he sits in a black suit with a black tie and a silver chain carrying an engagement ring around his neck. He leans against Fuyumi, who sits on his left side, while his mother grasps tightly onto his right hand. Behind him Natsuo rests a steady hand on his shoulder. His father hovers nearby, unsure how best to offer his support or if his support would even be welcome. They are the only thing that keeps Shoto from falling apart. When the time comes, he stands on shaky legs and approaches your open casket. At first he’d been insistent he wouldn’t look, but his mother had argued his last image of you shouldn’t be your broken body, riddled with holes. So he looks down at you, pieced back together by some mortician, lying motionless in the nicest outfit you own and he traces every detail of you. He tries to patch over the memory of you broken on the ground that haunts him every night since it’s happened with this image of you now. He pictures all of the good and beautiful moments you’ve shared together, let’s them swell in his chest until they’re too large to contain and pour out of him through his silent tears. He leans down and presses a gentle kiss to your too cold forehead and mumbles to you again his final promise:
“I love you, (y/n). I’ll never forget you.”

Summary: the reader is a pro-hero who happens to show up at villain Bakugou’s doorstep severely injured from a villain attack.
Pairing: Villain Katsuki Bakugou x reader
Word count: 2248
Warnings: angst, slight cussing, talks about dying, emotional, slight possessive,
A/N: Here is another Bakugou fic that I happened to create. Decide to make Bakugou a villain but have some deep love and protection for his significant other. This is a fic that I created but felt like it wasn’t any good, so I gave up on posting it. I hope it is good and you guys enjoy it. :)
———————————————————————
Running, it was all that you could do to get away from the villain attack that had just occurred.
The attack had separated you from the rest of the pro-heroes that were called to handle the situation. You fought as hard as you could till you couldn’t anymore. Villains were still continuing to join the fight, wanting to get rid of any pro-heroes that were left. Without getting noticed, you took shelter to try and find help. You spoke into your wrist communicator, asking “Deku? Shouto? Can anyone hear me?”, and all you could hear was just static. Meaning your communication with those two was no longer in session.
You yelled “ Damn it!”, then winced after expressing your emotions. Since you were very injured. You remove yourself from your hiding spot and bolt down the alley. Hoping to find some help along the way. Slowly your pace started to die down and you couldn’t run anymore. All you could do was walk, with pain increasing on every step. Blood gushed from your arm and the side of your head. Your body ached from the cuts and bruises it received from the fight. Hell, you didn’t know half the injuries you received, since you were in a panic state. All you wanted was to find someone or somewhere to feel safe.
It started to rain and made your night even worse. Looking around, you tried to figure out your surroundings. You saw the street sign and instantly walked down the dark street to the third house on the left. It may look like a house, but it was secretly a lair. A lair for a villain that you knew all too well. Carefully, you made sure that no one was following you. No heroes and no villains. The villain you were going to see, strictly forbidden it. Because he wanted to be kept secret from the world.
You made it up to the steps and knocked on the door slowly. Hoping that he was home and that he wasn't out somewhere causing trouble. Hope he wasn’t the one that caused the attack and your injuries. The door slowly opened and a person came into view, but it wasn’t who you wanted to see. It was the next person in line. It was Eijirou Kirishima.
Kirishima blinked a couple of times and spoke “ Y/N? What are you doing here?!?” He was completely horrified by how you looked. He may look bad with his scars, but this was not even close to his. You were standing here shaking and wet from the rain. Your hero suit was torn but still kept your lady parts hidden. Blood covered your entire body. This was a massacre.
You stood there trembling and asked “ W-w-where is Bakugou?”, pressing your hand into the deep cut upon your arm. Trying to keep yourself from not losing any more blood.
Kirishima replied “ He’s out looking for you. Once he knew it was your crew and you. He admittedly went out. He took Denki and Sero with him’’. Kirishima opened the door more so that you could get into the house. As you made your way into the house, you slowly started to sway a little bit. From the blood loss and from being cold. On the next step you took, you were heading for the floor. Kirishima acted quickly and caught you, then he yelled '’ Mina!! Help!! Please It’s Y/N!!!”
Mina rushed in and was just as horrified as Kirishima was. Mina picked you up as Kirishima said “ Get her to the infirmary room and hurry!! We can’t lose her!!’’ Mina didn’t reply back to him and she did what she was told to do. She rushed you to the infirmary room and started getting to work. She hooked you up to an oxygen tank and got all the fluids that you needed.
Since becoming a villain, Mina started to learn everything there was to know about being a doctor. Someone with brains in this group needed to get the gang back up on their feet when they got injured. Mina worked and worked on you as hard as she could, your heart rate would go so low that she would tell you “ Come on Y/N! Do not give up on me now! I need you to stay with me, please. Stay for the sake of Bakugou please!” Even with you being passed out, his name would always help you gain some strength to hold on more.
Kirishima paced back and forth, waiting for Bakugou and the other two to return home. Kirishima didn’t want to be the one to tell him the news, but he was the closest friend to Bakugou. The door opened up and it was slammed shut. Meaning, the blonde was home. Bakugou walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. Denki and Sero walked away with their heads down, they couldn’t find you.
Bakugou ran his hands through his hair, he was trying so hard to not let his frustrations out. Though he was so close to doing it. He couldn’t find his girl and he searched everywhere that he could think of. Bakugou said “ God damn it! Where the hell is she!”, as he screamed up at the ceiling. Kirishima bit his lip and wanted to tell his leader to calm down. Since Mina was operating on you, and she needed the house to be quiet.
Kirishima asked “ You couldn’t locate her with her tracker?’’, looking over at his friend. Bakugou replied “ No I couldn’t! Somehow it malfunctioned while she was fighting. Because it only shows her last location. I couldn’t even find the stupid nerd or that damn half and half bastard”. Bakugou knew you would never leave the sights of Deku or Todoroki, so he knew that this attack was big. He needed to find you and find you soon.
Kirishima could not keep the secret to himself anymore, he had to tell Bakugou that you were here. Before he could, Bakugou stood up and headed for the door once again. Kirishima asked “ Where the hell are you going now?”, Bakugou said, “ I’m going to go look again. I do not care if I get caught by Deku and Icy-hot. I’m going to find my girl”. Bakugou put a foot out the door just as Kirishima grabbed his arm.
Kirishima spoke, “ Wait! Bakugou you need to go look in the infirmary first”. Bakugo jerked his arm from his red-headed friend and turned around. He said, “ Why should I? Just tell Mina to fix herself and whoever up. Then those low lives can get the fuck out of my house”. Kirishima bawled his fits up and looked down. Kirishima spoke softly “ It isn’t Mina and it isn’t some low life”. Kirishima slowly raised his head up with tears filling up his eyes, then said “ It’s Y/N Bakugou”.
Bakugou stood there in complete silence, just staring up at his shark tooth comrade. Bakugou didn’t even give Kirishima time to explain anything. Bakugou raced towards the infirmary, only wanting to see you. Once he got there, the note on the door said “ Medical personnel in operation”. Bakugou screamed, “ No no no!!! Alien let me fucking in!! Please!!”. He slid down the wall and put himself in the fetal position.
Kirishima had followed Bakugou and stopped. Kirishima bent down to a knee and tried to help calm his friend down. Bakugou the entire time had tears streaming down his face, but he wasn’t going to lift his face up. Bakugou wasn’t the type to let out his emotions. He always kept them bottled up to himself, he didn’t always tell you what was wrong. He knew he needed to let these out. For the sake of your life. Bakugou said, “ Y/N, stay please. Please stay with me. I can’t lose you”.
It didn’t take long and the door opened up. Mina walked out and looked over at the two boys. Kirishima and Bakugo both looked up at her. Bakugou wiped his face and stood up quickly. He grabbed her shoulders and asked, “ Do not tell me she is fucking gone! Tell me she is still here!!”. Kirishima gently pulled Bakugou off and said “Easy buddy easy”. Bakugou did some breathing and tried to keep it together. Mina knew he was going to be in this state and she spoke “ Yes Bakugou, Y/N is still here but, she barely made it”.
Bakugou pushed past Mina and walked into the room. You were sleeping peacefully and finally were safe. Bakugou slowly made his way over and took your hand into his. He placed kisses onto your forehead and leaned his head against yours. Bakugo spoke through his break down “ I’m so sorry y/n. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there to keep you safe”, placing more kisses on your forehead.
Bakugou sat in the chair next to your bed and asked “ What are her injuries raccoon eyes?” He may have let them see his face and tears earlier, but he wasn’t going to take his eyes off of you. Mina grabbed the clipboard and spoke, “ She has stitches in her right inner forearm, some in the side of her head. Cracked and bruised ribs on both sides. A sprained ankle. Bruising and cuts all over her body. Plus blood loss”. Bakugou winced at hearing all of the injuries that you had suffered. It was going to be a long recovery for you.
Mina spoke, “ I took the tracker out of her left wrist so that we could fix it”. Bakugou nodded and knew that he needed to tell you about the tracker that he had put in you. He knew you may be mad at him for it, but he didn’t care. Was it possessive of him to do it? Bakugou would say yes it was. Because he wanted to always make sure that you were safe and sound. That no one else was making his girl theirs. If they were, it was going to be hell to pay.
Mina walked out of the room and shut the door behind her. Bakugou sat there and just stared at you. He was trying his best not to have another breakdown. Because he knew he had to be the strong one till you were able to regain your strength back.
You coughed and slowly opened your eyes, you spoke “ K- Katsuki?”. Bakugou's eyes went wide and he quickly squeezed your hand. He even started to smooth your hair back, while saying “ Yeah it’s me princess. I’m here. You’re safe now”. He didn’t care that you called him by his first name, he was just glad that he was able to hear your sweet voice. You raised your hand and placed it on his cheek. You felt your villain boyfriend’s tears hit your hand. You spoke “ I’m- i'm sorry” while letting your own tears fall. Bakugou kissed your lips and said, “ Don’t be sorry my little hero, it wasn’t your fault. Please get some rest. I’ll be back okay? I’ll see if we can move you into our room”.
You grabbed his arm and shook your head. You spoke “Please don’t go. Please do not leave me alone!”, with more tears streaming. Bakugou looked into your eyes and saw the absolute fear that they had. He knew what had happened must have put a huge impact on you. Bakugou spoke “ Princess I have…..”, but he didn’t finish his sentence.
You turn away and face the other side of the room. You said, “ Right...because you have to”. Bakugou swallowed his pride and let a breath out. His anger wanted to be unleashed but not right now. Bakugou spoke to himself “ Not now Katsuki. Not when she is in a state like this”. Bakugou slowly climbed into the hospital bed with you and held you close. Not enough to hurt you. You turned over and cuddled up to him as he stroked your hair. Bakugou spoke, “ I’m not going to leave you, you asked me not to so I will stay. I’m not going to let you out of my sight princess”.
Bakugo slowly pulled his phone out and sent a group text to the gang. The text said, “ I’m going to be out of commission for a while. My duties are to care of Y/n, that’s what I am going to do. If you need me just text. If it is more serious then come get me. I’m not leaving Y/n’s side”. He put his phone back in his pocket and started to hum softly. He hoped that it would help you calm down some. Bakugou said, “ It will all be okay princess, I’m going to take care of you. You're going to stay here and live a beautiful life with me. I love you so much Y/N”.

That's on Me | Revised Fic Pt. I
based on the thirst about Izuku wanting to beat the pussy because it's too good up by @awilddreamerwrites
cw// everyone is aged up to third years, quirk use during sex, innocence kink, m/m, anal play, d/s dynamic, creampies, sloppy seconds, threeway, group sex, Bakugo x Reader in an established relationship, queer reader who uses feminine descriptors (Bakugou calls you his girl/woman in intimate scenes where there's already pre-established consent to do so, pussy, tits, etc) but he/him pronouns, BakuDeku Poly dynamic w/ reader endgame
Tumblr media
There was always tension in the air when the three of you were in the same room, different than the preceding energy of one of your boyfriend's explosive outbursts. More like the smell of a storm in the air, like lightening followed by earthshaking thunder.
Deku would look at Kacchan, and Kat would look at Deku, and Deku would look at you and Kat didn't really mind and why didn't he mind?!
If anyone came in he would start barking at Deku to 'get his eyes off his boyfriend before he blows his face off,' but if you happened to time it perfectly and you three were the only ones in the common room..
Your boyfriend didn't growl at you to cover up if you were wearing his boxers that molded indecently to your ass beneath his shirt, in fact he groped at your curves possesively- delighting in the way Deku watched every movement of his hand on your ass while you cuddled into him.
So when Deku burst into Kat's dorm room while you were face down, ass up and getting absolutely railed-- it seemed like the final straw snapped in all three of you.
"Get in here and shut the fucking door nerd." Your boyfriend growled at Deku who was already doing so without having to be asked. He came closer to the bed, entranced by the filthy squelching of the blond's cock in your soaking wet pussy.
"You've always got an eye on my- ngh- fucking girl, Deku. Imagined him like this didn't you?" Even though his words should've been angry, it sounded more like the dirty words he growled at you that lit your pussy on fire. Your boyfriend was fucking you stupid but you tried your best to call out to the greenet, wanting him to know that you wanted him here (as much as Kat did if he let himself admit it.)
"'Zuku," you couldn't help the way your voice came out fucked and whimpering when Kat was rearranging your guts with a vengance.
"Fucking slut, why is your cunt getting tighter on my cock when you say his name?" His accusing tone was rendered meaningless because his cum started filling your cunt as he hammered into you, making you cum around him to milk every drop of seed from his balls as they smacked against your ass.
"Because he wants me to take a turn at his pussy." The utter confidence in Izuku's earnest voice made your pussy clench around Kat's slowly softening girth. He pulled out of your pussy and let you collapse tiredly on the bed, sprawled out like the perfect little whore you were tempting them both to ruin you. He kissed your temple and grumbled a 'traitor' under his breath before turning to face Deku.
The greenet had his dick out and a scarred hand wrapped around it, and it made Kat's cheeks dark to see that he didn't try to hide himself. He keep stroking a cock that made both of you revel in your inner size queens, and the little sound he made when he grabbed his own heavy balls made Kat sport a half chub quick enough to make him dizzy from the blood loss.
But he had to pull himself together, if he was going to make this work with his heart and dignity in tact.
"And why the fuck do you think I'd let you?" He challenged, green eyes clashing with red as the two stood too close for their posture to be aggressive.
It was intimate, like they shared a center of gravity and couldn't help but be drawn together.
"Please, Katsu, Zuku.." You whimpered, your eyes heavy lidded and pleading as you rolled onto your back- pulling one knee up so that they could both see Kat's cum leaking out of your hole. "Stop fighting. I want all of us to fuck in as many permutations as possible before I can't take anymore. Got it?" Your demand was spoken with only a few moans and whimpers as you fingered your stretched pussy, knowing one of them would break and you'd get what you needed.
"Do you have a condom or.. can you swear to me that you're clean?" Kat looked at Deku seriously, and Deku's breathed hitched by the intensity of those red eyes on him. His rhythm with his hand stuttered before he was able to nod with honesty ringing in his voice as he answered,
"I'm clean, Kacchan. I swear. I wouldn't put him.. or you at risk like that. And.. no one compared to you two. I haven't had sex in months." The admission made you whine- you were going to be at the mercy of hasn't-had-his-dick-wet-in-months Izuku? You prayed that you'd be able to walk tomorrow.
"Then go for it. But I'll be watching you. Do a good job and make him cum or you'll never get to fuck his pussy again." The threat made Deku's thick cock spurt more precum as he nodded and made his way to the center of the bed to push both your thighs to your chest. There was no way you'd be able to escape the mating press he put you in, so your pussy gushed realizing you wouldn't really have a choice about being impaled on his cock-which was well over your boyfriends already intimidating 8 inches.
"You think you can be a good girl for me and take it all?" The tip of his cock kiss your cum filled hole, and he looked at you so sweetly when you nodded you could almost forget he was about to split you in half.
You could hear Kat cursing under his breath to the side of you as he pulled up a chair to watch, but you could also hear the shameless sound of spit hitting his hand so he could jack off to the sight of Izuku's muscled form pinning you to the bed. The greenet had grown over his three years at UA, and he was a few inches taller than Kat now, and a lot broader.
His large scarred hands gripped your hips as he started pushing into you, inch by inch until he was buried as far inside you as he could reach- pressing snugly against your cervix and his heavy balls resting against the luscious fat of your ass.
And it was like he saw the face of god. Your dripping, clenching, fluttering heat was the best thing he had ever felt on his dick. Even if he got to put his dick in Kacchan's equally fuckable ass like he dearly wanted to, he didn't think even then it would beat this. This, the perfect and maddening pussy that belonged to Kacchan's beloved boyfriend. His girl.
The pleasure of it, hot as the sun and tinged with something dark and hungry and wild, grabbed him by the base of the spine and infected him with the almost painful craving to rut into you as hard and deep as possible.
"He's so fucking tight," Izuku's filthy moan wasn't even addressed to you, but it made your pussy clench further around his thick girth as he fucked you. There was green lightening crackling around him and his gaze on your was determined as he fucked into you harder- wanting to get as deep into your insatiable, hungry little pussy as he could. He could think of nothing else. Not even Kacchan watching him fuck you, not what this all meant.
Your moans had long since gone past embarrassing but your boyfriend only continued to watch as his childhood best friend fucked orgasm after orgasm out of you, not put off in the slightest by the growing mess off fluids between your lush thighs caused by his generous attention to your throbbing clit.
At some point there was a loud CRACK and the headboard fell to pieces where Izuku had been trying to hold himself up. He had let go of your hips at some point, but the sharp smack of his hips against your ass was a testament to how determined he was to imprint the shape of his dick into you.
"He has the best pussy I've ever fucked. Doesn't it feel like he's trying to milk your load right out of you?" Katsuki grinned ferally with pride at being blessed with such an irresistible partner.
"He's going to," Izuku's bright green eyes meet yours intensely, and you shivered under his gaze as he continued to fuck your overstimulated pussy. Your legs shook around his waist but all he did was fuck you deeper so you couldn't run from it.
"Ah ah ah, don't run, sweetness. Even if I have to break the bed too, I'm making sure all my cum ends up in your tummy.."
Your cervix was hammered so persistently you were sure Izuku's plan was to shoot his cum directly into your womb. By the time he let out the filthiest groan of "ngh- fucking, take it-" all you can get out is a garbled mess of
"yes!" and "'Zuku!" and "baby.."
Katsuki was laying beside you now, watching Deku fight to control his strength as your pussy threatened to undo himcompletely by fluttering and milking him until he was gritting his teeth from the overstimulation. Kat had cum twice all over his own fingers watching Deku being bested by you. He was so high on the thought that his girl could do this to Izuku. Make him look all fucked out, flushed tits heaving as he kneeled over your well fucked form, desperate..
Pretty.
"You look like a fucking slut, Deku." Why did that come out sounding like he was flirting? "You owe me a fucking headboard too dumbass." You watched your boyfriend growl the threat as an after thought, smirking at the blush on his cheeks. When Izuku came back to bed after putting the washcloths he used to clean you both in the bathroom, his eyes trailed over Katsuki's bare chest and low slung basketball shorts with a slight wet spot- his fourth erection of the night making the greenet's mouth water.
"I think I can find a way to make it up to you."
