November Layout Thoughts

As things are speeding to the end of October, it's time for me to think about November setup. This messy throw up of ideas is me trying to figure out how to make my next theme work. I want a Fall Cafe theme, but I don't drink coffee, but I do love milk tea. So I plan to use a milk tea themed tape and mix it with something fall themed since it uses a lot of green and brown. However, the fall themed set I ordered is still not in yet. So the fall themed flowers I already own may be used as sub.

I was also debating on what sort of food items to use for my meal planner, I think I like the bread stuff on the right because it works very well with the milk tea set.

Don't mind the teddy bear, he and his friends are going to be hanging out in my new journal writing layout because I think they're fun.

After playing with the white gel pen, I think I'll be using the white for borders and layouts but not for writing. I'll use a black brush pen for writing to keep it looking neat and readable. But I got white gel pens because I wanted to give a sense of those chalk borders you see on cafe signs.

There is something wonderful about starting a new bullet journal. Mine's going to run out at the end of the month, so I've picked up a new one, and today I'm just enjoying sitting down and thinking about what's going on it, how the thing is going to be structured, how I'm going to improve design-wise, and just... Ways to make it better than the last.

I can't wait to start using it :3

Hobbies and planning to slowly get back into my productive routine).

04|09|2023

Today I finally sat down with my laptop and planned my university classes for the year. It's a task that gives me a lot of anxiety, so now that I have done it I feel like I am a little lighter. I will have to do this again in a month when I will be able to write down my plan officially on my uni's website, but this was needed for me to know when my classes will start, and what I will be studying. I am excited and intimidated at the same time. I still have no idea how half of these things will end up being, but I am learning to accept the fact that at the end of the day I can only do so much planning that is accurate, and the I have to readjust again amd again depending on lots of factors. Still having an outline in frint of me is very reassuring. I will be fully back on my study routine by the end of the month. I still have to plan my studying for an exam I have to work on by myself, so that might be one of my tasks for the next few days.

Chill hobbit summer activities of today:

Read in the morning

Worked on my class plan for the year, and more or less planned when I'd like to take exams during the year

Worked on my crochet project while listening to an audiobook

Irish proactice on duolingo

📖: The Dragon Republix by R.F. Kuang (I am switching between my physical copy and the audiobook at the moment. I feel like it's the best way for me to engage with this story right now. I am finding this book a bit slower than the first novel of the series, but that could definitely be a me thing because I flew through that other book. I am very much intrigued by the plot of this one, so I am looking forward to get into it a bit faster thanks to the audiobook)

It’s that time of year again :3. Setting up my bujo for 2023. This year, I’m jetting a lot of the monthly trackers that I never kept up with, and paring things down, while adding more trackers to the weekly pages that I’m seeing all the time, in the hope that they’ll remind me to keep up with that information.

I’m also looking at restructuring how I do goals. Last year, without external accountability, not only did I keep overloading myself on goals, most of them quickly fell by the wayside as I couldn’t focus on anything outside of immediate needs. Still haven’t solved that one.
