In the beginning there was indescribable eternal nothingness. And in the middle of it, the first god dreamed himself into an existence. Allgod – The Slumbering one. The deity, which is in everything. The deity that were before all started and will stay after, after the end of the universe.

At first, in their dream there was nothing except themselves, yet than…

An explosion of light, and energy emerged from his consciousness. The storm of collar, In which the universe was born. And the Slumbering God observed with their evershining stare. Everything is in their dream, from the smallest subatomic particles, up to the largest galaxy clusters.

However when this dream just started, the universe was amorphous – the present laws of physics weren’t around. It needed the direction, like a melody played by orchestra without the notes, and an instruments out of tune. The universe awaited on those who will bring it to the cosmic Harmony. And they were not long to come.

guess what I did today?

the celestial peryton vase! that blue will be very dark and the aurora should show up brightly 🤞🏼

after carving the perytons, I covered the piece in wax, then carved the aurora through the wax. I painted underglaze over the aurora to give it some bright green, and when I wiped the excess colour away. the wax protected everything underneath. that pottery technique is called mishima

kinda wish I’d recorded it as an actual video and not just a timelapse, it goes just a little too fast imo

The once might and infinite Celestial Serpents were beings of immense power. Their unending coils stretched across all the worlds of reality. Now, they are all but extinct, the decaying corpses leaking their energy into countless worlds, spreading the ideas of their being still despite their deaths long ago. ________ Some designs for my personal worldsetting! There were thirteen species of celestial serpent, one for each of the Thirteen Divine Inspirations of the unreality between stars, known locally as the Obscuraverse. After the Great Sundering War, almost all of them have been wiped out leaving less than a dozen still alive. The Empress Zetsu is the last Azucarog as she killed all her kin, earning her the name "Kinslayer". Celestial serpents have bodies without end and when they die, they do not decay, so their corpses still wrap around reality, bleeding ideas and legends into worlds that have no idea they ever existed.

For the people of Obscuraverse though, the remnants of these beings exist in forgotten places of the world and are worth their weight in gold to extract. Had a ton of fun designing something for my own world and this has been a project I've been poking at for a month and so glad to share it with everyone now that its done <3

The Dame of Radiance spoke her daughter of her past self: Back when she was a figment of a goddess, and looked very much like the deal. Now, however, she kinda was burdened by the fact she didn’t have 6 arms or a plethora of wings: Shirts are kind of weird to figure out when you just have a different limb arrangement.

This is an art trade with @boociforme This is Cassiopea, her Aasimar's mother, back when she was at her full glory and was a menacing, vaguely eldritch celestial entity. I had so much fun with this one! Challenging picture, as I'm still trying to figure out this style, but fun. I'm always down to adding eyes to everything, and wings are very fun to draw!
