Jake Prillo

A completely ordinary man with a completely ordinary life. There is absolutely nothing remarkable about him, at least not until he starts to notice some things at his job. Jake works as a Security Guard watching over the CCTV Footage of a popular mall in Minnesota. At first, Jake didn't think much of what he saw, there were plenty of regulars that visited the Mall frequently, but after a while it became hard for him to ignore the fact that whenever a particular individual happened to be at the mall, and happened to go into the bathroom or a changing room or any other obscured location, the Super Hero "Kinetic" would mysteriously happen to appear moments later exiting that very location.

It wasn't just Kinetic, either. After thorough observation of this phenomena, Jake began to realize he'd uncovered the secret identities of several Minnesota-based Super Heroes. At first, Jake simply observed. After some time, he got some of his other CCTV Watching friends in on it and they watched together. But when a super hero was in a dire position and needed help, Jake decided to stop watching and jump into action. He would eventually band together his CCTV friends into a group called The Secret Society of Ordinary Heroes who would go in, in secret to aid the various heroes with their missions.

Later, and somewhat unrelated, Jake would end up unwittingly dating his best friend's sister only to discover that she is, in fact, Death's Daughter.
