‘How the fuck did I get here’
You thought as you sat in you car, filled with you things. You had just left the home YOU bought after catching your boyfriend Yunwoo cheating one you.. With your supposedly best friend. Sitting there thinking, you should’ve saw the signs. They were there right in front of your face. You felt like a fool. Luckily you’ve always kept a cool head, or else you would’ve done something you’d regret. You honestly wished you did. You wanted them to hurt just as much as they hurt you, but you knew if wouldn’t change anything so why stress yourself out about it. But silence is the best way to get under someone’s skin isn’t it. No matter how much he cried and apologized. You didn’t turn back, you’ll never go back to him. That a promise you made to yourself on you journey back home.
Earlier that day:
“Hey y/n what can I get you” the barista, you’ve gotten to know over the years asks, “Let me have my usual please Janine, oh! And can you serve it really hot please, thank you.” You were making you your normal daily rounds that day, which normally started out with a hot coffee at your favorite cafe when you realized you forgot you wallet back at the house. “Ah actually scratch that. I seem to have left my wallet at home.” You say, making the sudden realization. “You know what don’t walruses about it it’s on the house,” Janine says with a smile. “That you so much I appreciate the generosity, but I have to go back home anyway. I’ll come back and pay for the coffee.” You just couldn’t shake this strange feeling telling you to go back home. Your boyfriend of 5 years seemed was acting strange this morning. Being overly sweet all of a sudden, waking you up, making you breakfast. It just seemed like he was trying to get you out of the house.
when you pull into the driveway you see his car still out front, but you didn’t find that as strange as you best friend, Cristal car along side his. “Strange,” you say to yourself as you pull into the driveway. She never texted that she was coming over, but you check you phone to be safe. But you still can’t shake the uneasy feeling you have in your gut that something fishy is going on inside your home without you knowing. The calm rational you is telling you to just walk in your home as if it’s nothing, but the bad bitch part of you is telling you to unlock your fence and sneak in though the back door. So that’s just what you do. As you’re sneaking inside your house you notice clothes spread all across you living room floor training up the stairs to your bedroom. “Oh hell nah I know these motherfuckers ain’t- okay.” You whisper to yourself as you tiptoe up the stairs.
As you reach your bedroom you hear the faint sound of laughter behind the door. You decide to listen in on the conversation before letting your presence known. “Why don’t you just leave her already. She can’t make you happy the way I do.” You hear Cristal say. “I’m just waiting for the right time Cristal you know how she can be. She so clingy, she acts like she can’t live without me,” Yunwoo explains to Cristal. You scoff to yourself as head this. “Mmcht yeah right like this isn’t my house you’re freeloading it.” You number to yourself as you lean in closer to get a better listen. No one knew that you were he one that made all the money between you two. Yunwoo didn’t have a job and was too embarrée to move back in with his parents after he dropped out of college. So you bought this home for the both of you to stay in. You on the other hand were and heiress to one of the most biggest, prestigious designing companies in the world. In other words you’re the 1 percent of the q percent. But you’ve always kept it a secret, because it is taboo to mention your wealth in front of other people who are less fortunate.
“well I just don’t see how it’s right to keep pretending and leading her on like this. Im starting to get annoyed just looking at her. She’s so pathetic.” At this point you e already opened the door. They look at you in shock to see you home this early. “Y/n-“ you hold up your hand. Not trying to hear a single word coming out of yunwoo’s mouth, already disgusted. You don’t speak of give them the time of day. Of course you have lots to say, say you listened to their conversation you realized that these people were below you. These people betrayed your trust, and defiled your home. They’re worth less than the dirt on a dog’s paw. And what do you look like speaking to those who aren’t even worthy enough to lick the dirt off of your dogs feet? “Y/n please let’s talk about this like adults.” Yunwoo pleads. All you can do is scoff ass you go around the room and gather your things.
“Yunwoo baby just let her go. You don’t need something like that anyways. She’s not worth the time,” Cristal says picking through her nails. “You know what Cristal you’re right. I don’t need this. I deserve better and y/n baby you can’t give that to me. I’m on to better things in life. While you’re going to be stuck a sad, lonely, bitter, insignificant, bitch no one can stand. So go on. Leave.” Yunwoo, who has more than audacity says to you. You, the classy person you are smile at him, gather your clothes, jewelry, and dog walk away. Leaving everything behind.

Spoopmas Special: Namjoon
Tumblr media
Pairing: Namjoon x reader
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 1,191
You pull up to the driveway of your new home with a worried look on your face. There, on the roof of the house, stands your fiancé wrestling with what looks to be a giant spider. You quickly step out of the car and walk over to the ladder leaning on the side of the house before calling out to your soon-to-be-husband.
“Namjoon. Babe, what are you doing on the roof without someone like spotting you or something?” You flinch slightly as he turns around abruptly. He’s always been so clumsy you were worried he would fall right off the roof of the house.
“Oh. Hey baby I didn’t think you’d be home so early. I’m just setting up some halloween decorations. It’s our first home and I wanted to make it look nice.” You smile at how thoughtful he was being. Despite barely having moved in a week ago and having almost nothing in your home up until last night he was really trying to make it feel like a home.
“I appreciate that I really do but I would like it a little more if you didn’t die before we got married. Why don’t you call some of the guys over to help you?” You noticed a small pout formed on his lips as he dropped the giant spider and made his way over to the edge of the roof. Meanwhile, you’re very nervous the whole time because he really had a knack for falling. You stepped behind the ladder to try to keep it steady as he climbed down it.
“There we go. The solid ground is much better now isn’t it?” Namjoon nods his head and you stand on your tippy toes to press a chaste kiss to his lips before dragging him into the house.
“Okay, you call any of the guys to come help you and I’ll make dinner.”
“Sounds like a plan.”
You hear the doorbell ring a ridiculous amount of times along with some accompanying knocks on the door which already lets you know who’s at the door. You know you’re definitely in for a treat when you open the door and there stand Jungkook and Taehyung with shopping bags around their feet. Out of all the boys Namjoon could have asked to help him it had to be these two.
“Thanks for inviting us Y/N! You’re gonna have the extra most bestest house on the block we promise!” You smile genuinely because despite how crazy they were you knew they had good intentions.  “I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with.” There was some truth behind that statement. You were just a little more nervous than excited.
“Hey guys! I’m glad you’re here. Let’s get down to business (to defeat the huns).” As soon as Namjoon shows up you get lost in all their chatter about where they’re going to put what and how scary everything is going to be you can’t even make out what they’re saying anymore so you just leave them to it.
“Oh! Oh! Oh! Me next! How about we put the confetti blaster right outside the door and when it goes off you jump out with the blood dripping from your neck. Wouldn’t that be cool!”
“OR we could completely disregard that idea and do mine instead. I think you should set up the fog machine right above the door so it’s all foggy then you do a jump scare by popping out with the freaky contacts in and then having the blood gush out everywhere like this.” This catches your attention and you quickly run out of the kitchen and straight into the living room where Jungkook is uncapping a squeeze bottle of fake blood. The other two boys look intrigued as he takes a step back ready to squeeze the bottle but you have to stop him.
“Don’t you DARE get blood on my brand new rug Jeon Jungkook.” All three of them stop what they’re doing and look down at the pristine white carpet they were standing on. Namjoon remembered how you had spent hours browsing through rugs online just to find this one, which he thought looked exactly like the other 500 white rugs you scrolled passed. He thought back to yesterday when  he almost dropped his hot dog on the new rug and you nearly had a heart attack before dragging him into the kitchen.
“We’ll finish this outside.” You nod your head and open the front door for them. After Tae and Jungkook went outside you stopped Namjoon by grabbing his arm. “Don’t go too overboard okay? It’s our first year here and I don’t want the neighbors hating us for traumatizing their kids.” He kisses your temple gently, “ Don’t worry about it. I’ll keep them in line.” You smile gratefully and shut the door behind him before going back to making dinner.
You feel around in front of yourself carefully to avoid falling or crashing into anything since your sight has been taken from you. “Oh come on can’t we just take her outside she’s been standing in the same spot for 5 minutes.” You turn in the direction that you heard Taehyung speak and throw a light punch in hopes of hitting him but your fist doesn’t connect with anything.
“Alright. I’ll lead you outside since you can’t seem to make it there yourself.” Namjoon grabs hold of your hands and leads you outside slowly. Once he gets you in the correct position outside he slowly unties the blindfold and pulls it away from your eyes. You open your eyes and look at your home in awe.
The driveway was lined with pumpkin lanterns. There was a skeleton making it’s way out of the ground in front of a tombstone. The trees and bushes were covered in a giant spiderweb and the spider Namjoon was messing with earlier now looked like it was trying to jump from the roof to the web. There were bats hanging from the tree and flickering lights all around. There was some ominous music playing from somewhere that you couldn’t quite pinpoint. The garage had a menacing looking back backdrop and the whole house itself looked quite foggy thanks to the fog machine sitting discreetly under a bush.
“Wait...where did you get a fog machine?”
“Isn’t that a nice touch? We found it with all the stage props at BigHit. Probably not too important.” You shake your head and wrap your arms around Namjoon. He had come through on his promise not to go too overboard but him and the other two boys still managed to make the house look great despite your limitations.
“The house looks great. Thank you, babe.” You cuddle in closer to him and sigh in content as he places a kiss on the top of your head. You were happy you had Namjoon by your side.. Sure he was a little clumsy and and had his high fives and handshakes denied a lot but he was one of the best guys you’ve ever met and you wouldn’t want to do this with anyone else.
A/N: This is really short but I like it and I hope you do too. Thanks for reading x

Save My Seoul From Comfort | Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Ot7 X Reader (eventually)

Warning: This series might be distressing to some readers as it includes indirect description of sex trafficking and rape. I do not condone any scene that violates Human Rights, this is purely fiction and used to set light on an international issues.

Prologue
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The streets were full of life, people wandering everywhere, entering cafes, bars, and restaurants. It was a warm night, the air smelled of summer and fast food, and as you walked ahead the amount of lights that emanated from the stores gave you a sense of comfort. Contradicting the feeling that you had, feeling as if you had no other choice  tightened your chest, the feeling of no escape, nowhere to run.
The store you were looking for could be seen from blocks away, luminescent, as if it metaphorically wanted to attract the flies to the fire. And there you were, walking through its doorstep with no other choice, with the necessity to comply with your needs.
Inside it was the complete opposite, the light provided barely allowed you to see the faces of the people, as if it wanted to hide away what was going on in the shadows. Clutching your belongings in one hand and the other tightly hidden in your jacket, you walked straight to the reception of the bar. Your aunt had given you clear instructions on what to do, walk to the reception, tell them your situation, and then they will see what they do with you from there.
“Hello,” You say awkwardly
The desk was sticky and had every kind of substance stuck into it, there were even some pieces of food on top of it that seemed to have seen better days. Behind it, two young people came and went, a girl and a boy. They took the customers orders and handed them out all at the same time, and in their hurry of keeping up they did not see you there.
“Umm...Hi!,” Your voice went a little bit higher,  the girl looked your way, “Oh, I just wanted…”
Pressing her hand up in a waiting motion she shut you up. Puffing you sat down in one of the chairs, your backpack pressed to yourself in a comforting manner. Waiting for one of the waiters to help you, you observed the place. Even though it was as dark as it could be, you could see some different scenes going on.
Some tables were filled with boys not that much older than you, drinking and hollering between each other. Pretty sure their intentions after their meal, go to the back of the building and rent the cheapest girl back there and enjoy her for the night. Some other tables were filled with lonely older men who already had their companions for the night, caressing them and whispering in their ear.
You didn't know how to feel about the situation. You didn't have anywhere to go, no one to go to. Your aunt left a huge debt after her death and now that she's gone, you are the one by default to try and pay it out. Debt caused by the same establishment that you had walked in tonight. Housing debt and prepayment left you with what you have today, a debt that will just keep on growing and won't allow you to do anything else with your life. And you knew that, yet here you were, cause where else to go, what else to do. You didn't have a former education, not more than elementary school at least. It's this or nothing. It's also all that you know, what else would you be good at.
And as you stared uninterestedly to your surroundings a boy's voice brings you back.
“What do you need?” He asked right beside you.
The boy had slick black hair, his eyes were black, and had the fullest lips you had ever seen in your life. He was soft spoken, contradicting the atmosphere. His wide figure did not allow you to see behind him, nor others to see you, it was as if in a sense wanted to protect you from that place. You were more than thankful, for his wide shoulders didn't allow you to see the wandering stares from the people.
“My aunt sent me here, she said you could help”
The boys stare changed to one of concern, knitting his eyebrows together. His posture was rigid as he stared you down.
“You're no older than eighteen at least”
“I know, but I heard it wasn't a concern here,” You looked at his face, and between his eyes flashed a sense of helplessness. He nodded.
“Yes...Here, let me take you to the boss,” He let you stand up, “Allow me to take this for you,” He said referring to your backpack.
“Oh no, It's ok. It's not that heavy,” He nodded once again.
As he turned around and allowed you to follow him, you began to realize that this was actually happening and there was no turning back. He led you through the bars back door, and to your surprise there was a backyard with a long trail leading to the door of another rusty boulding. The night seemed more dark without the luminescent lights of the avenue, it looked trapping. Your hand began shaking, and you noticed that it became a little bit hard to catch your breath. The boy seemed to notice this as he looked back at you three times before he said something.
“My name is Jin, yours?” He smiled warmly.
You took a big breath before answering, the air getting stuck in your chest.
“y/n, nice to meet you,” You tried to smile, but a grimace came out.
“I know it is not my concern, but the aunt you told me about,” He began opening the door of the building for you, “Does she know you are here?,” He asked as you both entered,  and the first thing that you see is a pair of stairs, two hallways at each of your sides. You looked at him and shook your head timidly. He opened his mouth…
“She died a few day ago”
He closed it rapidly, his eyes widening.
“Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean…”
“No no, it's ok. I understand the concern, but I dont have nowhere else to go, and I need a job and a place to stay, and this is the only option that offers both.”
“I understand. I also have nowhere else to go. Here, this way,” He said turning right. “Upstairs are the dorms. As I was saying… I have also nowhere else to go. I have been here for a while actually, maybe a year or so.”
You nodded as he walked you through the long hallway. The sound of both of your steps resonated in the isolated place.
“The boss accepts almost everyone that comes, so I guess you won't have a problem. So just know that i'm here if anything happens, ok? This is a rough industry. I won't shame you, I understand what led you here, so don't be afraid to come to me,” He halted.
“Are you also in the industry?”
“Yes and no. I mostly work at the bar, but I take any job the boss tells me to do. I have been rented to go to parties and act as if I was someone's partner, or even once to clean the house of a rich man in only boxers. There's some weird shit out there.”
“So you have never…? You know, had..?”
“Sex? To have sex in exchange of money? Yes, of course. No one escapes from that here. And get used to talking about it, it will take a little bit of the taboo off it. Oh, and here we are”
He said as he pointed behind where you two halted. It was a wood made door, as cheap as it could be, white as the rest of the walls. You stared at it for a few seconds, and turned back to look at Jin, who had a sad smile on his face.
“He's not the sweetest human or earth, nor the kindest, but is the only option you have. He wont do anything to you, I promise. He's just a little bit intimidating. I will be out here for when you finish, yeah?,”
“And the bar?” You asked pointing in the direction.
“I already finished my shift, now go,” He gently pushed you closer to the door.
“Knock” He said under his breath, slowly demonstrating it with his hand. You nodded.
After knocking softly on the door, you were met with silence. You turned to face Jin once again, but before you could do that, the door was janked wide open. A short but muscly man stood right in front of you, a half shaved mustache on his face and the soulless eyes you had ever seen.
“Yes?,” His voice sounded rusty, as if he did not wanted to speak at all.
“Hello! My name is y/n. Jin told me you are the boss?,” Silence, “So...I wanted to take up a job here, if it's possible.”
The man gestured to you inside. Looking behind you Jin nodded at you in comfort, and you went in. The room was as basic as it could be, just one table, two chairs on each side, a cabinet filled with papers and a window, nothing more.
“Take a seat. My name is Park Sunho. Now what exactly are your expectations of this place? Do you know what we do?”
“Yes...My aunt worked here”
That seemed to strike up his interest, as he leaned his body against the table.
“What was her name?”
“Kim Aeri”
The man nodded and stood up. His back was now turned to you, his hands searching  something frantically on the cabinet. As he turned around, you could see one sack of papers in his hold. His posture was one of an old man, even though he was no more than fifty. His hands shook slightly as he helped himself to sit down again.
“You have debt,” He said uninterestedly, reading the papers he took out.
“Yes, that's why I came,”
“Ok, I'm gonna sign you up and you will be on the market from then on. Usually I will arrange the meetings for you until you get a hang of everything, until then you are under my supervision or one of the other managers.”
You gulped, anxiously realising what is going on. He took another look at the papers, knitting his eyebrows.
“The debt is several thousands won. I don't know how fast you are gonna be able to clear it out, it depends on how much money you can make me. You have two options”
He left the papers on the table and stared at you, leaning his body forward.
“You can live in one of the dorms, and not pay rent, but be on constant work hours, or go and rent an apartment somewhere else, which will make you take longer to pay out the debt, due to rent and less working hours, so you tell me.”
Without a second thought you answered.
“I would like to live in one of the dorms, please.”
He seemed pleased, that seemed to be the right answer.
“Ok, then. I'm gonna sign you up and specify your debt,” He opened a little notebook he had on the side of the desk, and started typing away, “The dorms are actually a room with a bathroom, so you will have to figure out the food thing on your own.  We also don't have many of them, so you will have to share, man, woman, boy, girl, whatever, your luck.”
Your chest tightened even more as you sank down a little on your chair. Feeling helpless as you picked on the skin surrounding your nail.
“Name again?”
“Kim y/n”
“Right. Usually you also use the dorm to tend a client if they don't call you to meet up somewhere else. And because you are new, I will try to make sure you start working under my roof first. Okay, all set.”
He said standing up, allowing you to do so as well.
“Your dorm is 37B, shared. So good luck.”
You nodded as you headed to the door, desperate to get out and cherish Jin's comfort words, but before you could open the door, he cleared something out.
“If you once mention my work to the authorities, directly or indirectly, I will make sure your debt is tripled and you stay here the rest of your life to pay it out. Do I make myself clear?”
“Yes, sir,” You seemed to not be able to inhale any air anymore.
“Now go, Jin will show you the way to the dorm.”
As Sunho opened the door, you could feel his body even closer now. He smelled of dirt, as if he hadn't showered for days, and you were sure his breath almost smelled of the acid scent of alcohol. Jin stood there, facing the door, his stare long lost on the dirty patches on the walls. As he saw you walk out, a smile spread out on his face.
“Show her to her dorm Jin, it's 37B,” Before anything could be said, Suhon enclosed himself in the room again.
“Let's go,” Jin said, getting himself off the wall.
Putting your backpack with all your belongings on your back once again, you started following him. Down the hallways, up the stairs you went. The first floor already smelled different, there was a mixture of food, sweat and sex. You could hear the sound of fans, the sound of skin slapping, laughs, and if you paid attention to certain doors, there were wails of sorrow.
The dorms already seemed to be set on an alternative reality. Somewhere where nothing matters, where you're from, what you feel, what is your situation. Everything is set on one thing, offering a service and getting money in return, how you do it it doesn't matter.
Walking up one more set of stairs, on the second floor, two doors to the left, and besides the broken window, Jin stopped.
“Here we are, 37B,” He pointed to the metallic 37B on the door, “I'm actually two floors up, If you ever need anything, 53C. But you can also find me on the bar, almost every night and so. We will run into each other again, I promise.“
You puffed air out of your nose, rubbing your arms in comfort.
“Thank you Jin, really. But...do you know who I'm sharing it with?” You asked pointing to the door.
He shook his head.
“No, sorry. A lot of people come and go. I have my group, I stick to them, I trust them. I promise you will find your people.”
“How will I meet people here?”
Silence.
“Usually when you have to work with them for a client.”
“Oh..”
Jin laughed. His eyes getting smaller and his bread cheeks appearing. His hand brushed against your shoulder.
“I told you to get used to this. Try to find me when you're assigned your first client, ok?”
Nodding, you bid him goodbye. You didn't want to let him go, finding too much comfort in his presence, mostly in this new environment. Sighting softly, you put your hand on the door handle. Pushing forward once, your body hit against the door, breathing out, you turned the handle stronger and went forward. The door opened this time.
Inside two beds could be seen and one wardrobe. The walls were white, the paint coming off in some places, humidity tainting them.  But what caught your attention immediately was the figure sitting on the window sill. There sat a boy, not much older than you, staring directly your way. His hair was black, curls in every way, his doe eyes shined under the soft lightbulb hanging from the roof. With his mouth a little bit opened, a little bit of smoke came out, making you aware of the cigarette on his hand. A hand which was covered in tattoos, contrasting the cleaness of his other arm, lackless of ink.
“You wanna come in?” He asked, leaving his cigarette on a hole in the wall.
When he stood up to come closer to you, you could see something you hadn't noticed, he was only in his boxers. When he realised your stare, he chuckled timidly and scratched his neck.
“I'm sorry, I didn't expect them to assign me a roommate so soon. I just attended one of my first clients.”
For the first time you observed the unmade bed in the room. Sheets and pillows tousled everywhere, some wet stains on the mattress. When you turned back to look at him, he was blushing even harder.
“Im sorry, I will clean it right away…”
“It's ok, no need to rush. The more we talk about it, the less taboo it is, right?”
The boy seemed to relax a little.
“Right. My name is jungkook, yours?”
“y/n”
He smiled.
“Well let me organize all of this, and you can get comfortable, put your things away and we can get started”
That seemed to startle you.
“Start what?” You softly asked.
“Your training period”
This new life was gonna be harder than you thought.
If I Never Met You: Chapter 16
Tumblr media
(??? X Reader) Idol!AU, Manager!Reader)
Genre: (PG13) Fluff, angst
WC: 4.6k
Warnings: None
Series Masterlist
Chapter 15 | Chapter 16 | Chapter 17
Tumblr media
No More Dream blared in the spacious room, the boys hard at work dancing for their music video. We were at the tail end of the third day of shooting, and despite how exhausted they were from the long days they were still pouring all their best efforts into the shoot.
As soon as the director called a cut, the seven of them took the chance to relax the best they could, letting their tiredness show while there were no cameras filming. Stylists and makeup artists walked over to them to make sure they still looked perfect for the next take.
It was tough having to watch this. Three days of minimal sleep, almost non-stop up and go to get the video shot in the shortest amount of time possible. I wanted to tell whoever was in charge that the boys (and the staff, having to stay up for just as long) needed more time to break and rest. But this was the nature of this industry and no matter how I felt I wasn’t going to be able to convince them to do any differently.
The first two days, Sejin stayed here with me the whole time until I was comfortable being on my own. Today, he had other work he needed to do so I was by myself. I was feeling really drowsy by this point. I got even less sleep than the boys because I had to make sure I was up and ready before them to get them here on time. To be honest, there wasn’t much to “manage at something like this, but it was still part of my job to make sure the whole thing was going smoothly, and to be here just in case the boys needed me for anything.
After one more take of the whole dance routine, the director announced that we were done. Relief washed over me, and I pried myself out of my chair to go to the boys.
“You guys did amazing,” I said as I approached them. “Let’s hurry up and get you guys ready so we can all go home.”
I felt a heavy weight on my back and turned to see Namjoon using me as a support for his exhausted body.
“Joonie, are you okay?” I asked.
“Yeah, I’m good,” he responded. His voice sounded weak, contradicting his words. “The quicker I can sit down, the better.”
“Well, let’s go then,” I chuckled as I pulled him to my side and supported him with my arm.
The boys got changed out of their wardrobe and their makeup removed quickly, the staff not taking their time since they wanted to get home as well. The eight of us piled into the company van and I drove back. I dropped them off at the apartment before returning the vehicle to the company.
As soon as I parked the van, no longer needing to be alert to traffic, my body seemed to want to just fall asleep right there instead of making its way home. I started to close my eyes before I heard one of the van doors slide open, followed by the driver-side door. I looked to see a tired-smiled Hoseok standing there.
“Why didn’t you get off when I stopped at the dorm, Hobi?” I asked as I lazily unbuckled my seatbelt and gathered my belongings. I was a little upset with myself for not noticing he didn’t exit the van with the rest of the members.
“I wanted to make sure you got back home safely,” he responded as he put a face mask on.
“I’ll be fine,” I managed to squeeze out through a yawn.
He chuckled. “Yeah, sure. You looked like you were about to fall asleep in the car.”
We started walking our way back home. My exhaustion made it difficult to speak, but I forced myself to so that I didn’t fall asleep. “You guys really did well the past three days.”
“Thanks, noona,” Hoseok replied. “I hope the video turns out well.”
“Of course it will,” I turned to smile at him. While distracted, my shuffling feet tripped over something on the sidewalk.
Hoseok was quick to catch me so I didn’t fall. “Are you okay?” he asked as he turned to face me.
“Yeah, I’m fine. I just tripped.” I offered him a tired smile.
We resumed walking, but he kept his arm wrapped around me for support. We had a flight of stairs to climb once we got into our building, and each step I took felt like another 10 pounds had been added to my weight. At that point, I was really thankful for Hobi’s support.
When we arrived at our doors he watched me walk through mine first, wishing me a good night and telling me to get plenty of rest before he entered his own home.
I had fallen asleep so easily that I almost didn’t even remember going to bed. Needless to say, I slept really well and was ready to work the next day. Sejin and I reviewed the finalized pictures from the photoshoot done just prior to the music video shooting, and I couldn’t stop my mouth from hanging open, occasionally making a sound of amazement.
“What’s that for?” Sejin asked.
“What’s what for, oppa?” I responded, finding it difficult to peel my eyes away from the pictures on the screen.
“Your reaction to the pictures,” he responded, chuckling.
“Oh. I don’t know, they just look so…” I paused, trying to find the right word but being unsuccessful. “They look really good,” I settled on, even though that phrase didn’t do them justice.
Sejin let out a hearty laugh. “You’re not blind, you’ve always known they’re good looking boys, haven’t you?”
“Well, yeah. Of course I have. But these pictures just captured their looks so well! Although, I still don’t get why they asked Namjoon to go with this kind of hairstyle. He doesn’t look bad, but I just think he looks so much better with how his hair naturally is.”
“It fits the hip-hop style image,” Sejin responded with a shrug. “I’m not too fond of it either, but we’re not the stylists.”
“Speaking of that, can’t we still ask for some of the styles for We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2 to be up for debate? Some of those outfit choices are…”
“Going with the hip-hop style image,” Sejin repeated.
“I know, I know. But, can’t they take it from me that they’re just over-the-top and cheesy? Like, why on earth should Jungkook be wearing an American football helmet and padding?”
“You already tried talking to them about that, (Y/n). Did you forget?”
“No, I didn’t forget… I just hope I can still change their minds.”
“Look, I get it. I do. I’m not fond of it, either. But we need to make sure they stand out and by doing things a little extra, even if it may be cheesy, it’ll help make that happen. Just roll with it, okay?”
I groaned and threw my head back. “Okay, okay…”
After we finished reviewing the pictures, I went to the office café to eat lunch before we got too busy with meetings for me to have time to eat. I normally brought food from home for lunch but I didn’t give myself any time this morning, preferring to get as much sleep as I could to recover from the past few days.
I sat down at an empty table and put in my headphones to listen to the boys’ debut album as I ate my food. The music wasn’t a style I typically listened to, but it was my boys so of course I wanted to listen to them. And to be honest, the more I listened to it, the more I started to like the songs.
As I was finishing my meal, I saw someone sit down across from me. I pulled one of my earbuds out as I looked up to see who it was. I was glad I already finished my food because the sight would have made me lose my appetite.
“Hello, (Y/n)-shi,” the woman said.
“Hello,” I greeted back. “I’m sorry, but I don’t actually know your name.” I tried my best to not sound rude.
“Oh, I guess I’ve never properly introduced myself,” she replied. “My name is Son Haewon.”
“Hello, Haewon-shi,” I responded. Finally, I had a name to match the face of the woman who’s been giving me way too much grief. “How can I help you?”
“Oh, please. You can call me unnie,” she said with a smile I could tell was forced and fake.
Not wanting to start an argument, I decided to comply with her request even though using the word with her felt like ice on my tongue. “Okay, unnie. Is there something you needed?”
“Oh, nothing really,” she said, placing her chin in the palm of her hand. “I just wanted to chat. I feel like we started off on the wrong foot.”
Yeah, doing nothing but ridiculing me and giving me a large second-degree burn would kind of do that.
“How did the music video shooting go?” Haewon asked.
I was kind of taken aback by the attempt at small talk. Part of me wondered if she actually did want to try to make amends, but I primarily remained skeptical. “It went well. It was tiring for everyone, but the boys pushed through really well and I think it’ll turn out great.”
“That’s good to hear.” She paused for a moment, crossing her legs under the table. “By the way, I heard an interesting story the other day.”
“Oh?” I pretended to be interested.
“I heard that BTS almost lost their debut date.”
Where on earth did she hear that? Only the people who absolutely needed to know were told. As far as I knew, she was not one of the employees needing to be in on the loop of what was going on.
I pretended to not be sure of what she was talking about. “Where did you hear that?” I asked innocently. My suspicions that she was here to cause me more trouble were rising.
“From one of my coworkers. They said it was why Sejin oppa had been even more swamped with work up until recently.”
Yeah, because I totally wasn’t as well. “I’m not sure why you or your coworker were told that, but they are most definitely debuting on June 13th as planned,” I responded firmly. I didn’t like to make a habit of lying, especially if I was worried if it could come back to bite me in the butt, so I didn’t want to confirm nor deny that the date was ever taken away in the first place.
“Well, that’s good. But you did lose the date for a little while, did you not?” She seemed like she tried to hold back the smirk that inevitably flashed on her face.
This little… What business was it of hers? I really wanted to get out of this situation, but I wasn’t sure how. If I got up to walk away it’d be just as bad as giving her all the answers she wanted, and she would probably just follow me and continue to nag me anyway.
“It doesn’t matter because the date is set in stone and nothing is changing,” I replied, hoping that would put the issue to rest.
“You know, I figured that if he hired someone like you,” she emphasized the word, staring me up and down, “it must have been for a good reason. But seeing as BTS’ debut was almost ruined because of you, I’m not so sure.”
I couldn’t stop a flabbergasted laugh from escaping my lips. “You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.” I leaned back in my chair, crossing my arms.
“Oh, I don’t?” she responded. “Weren’t you the one who got the debut set up, and the one in contact with the agent from the broadcasting company? They called you to tell you it was revoked, didn’t they? How does it have nothing to do with you?”
How could someone be such a complete witch? She talked bad about me both behind my back and to my face. I’d be surprised if she had any friends, or real friends at the very least.
“What that company decided to do didn’t have anything to do with me, Haewon-shi,” I said. “And to be frank, what happened has absolutely nothing to do with you. I’m sure you have better things to do with your time rather than go poking around someone else’s business.”
She scoffed at me. “I’m your sunbae in this company and I’m also older than you. Just because you’re a foreigner” – she seemed to almost spit out the word – “doesn’t excuse you not using proper manners. You’re supposed to show me respect.”
I raised my eyebrows. “I’m fully aware of the honorifics and how important age and seniority is to Korean culture. But why would I show respect to someone who’s spewing out nonsense and has always been nothing but fully disrespectful and rude to me? Not to mention, that coffee gave me a second-degree burn that took weeks to heal so I’m definitely not thankful for that, either.”
“You’re such a rude, cheeky little brat, aren’t you?” Haewon pushed herself out of her seat as she glared at me.
“What’s going on here?” someone nearby asked.
I turned around to see Hoseok, and I felt relieved knowing my friend was there with me.
Haewon instantly changed, putting on a fake smile and let out a breathy laugh. “Nothing, we were just getting to know each other a little better. Weren’t we, (Y/n)-shi?” she tried her best to sound nice, but was so obviously fake.
I didn’t respond and just kept steady eye contact with her.
“That’s not what it looks like to me,” Hobi said as he walked up to me and placed a hand on my shoulder.
Haewon’s gaze moved to his hand, her smile fading from her lips.
“Is everything okay, noona?” Hoseok asked me with concern.
Haewon didn’t give me a chance to respond. “Did you know about how you almost lost your debut date?” she asked, emotionless.
“Haewon-shi,” I said as I stood up. “That wouldn’t be your business to tell them.”
“So they don’t?” she raised an eyebrow as she smirked at me. “They don’t know how they were almost ruined before they even started because of you?”
“We do know that we almost lost our debut date, actually,” Hoseok responded in my defense. His tone was firm and assertive, but not angry. “But we saw noona working her absolute hardest to do everything she possibly could to get us back on track, and it was actually because of her that we got the date back.”
Haewon’s smile disappeared once again, taken aback by how quickly and straightforward he responded.
Hoseok didn’t falter even a bit as he continued. “Not only that, but ever since she started working here, she’s always done everything she possibly can for us. You don’t know anything about how hard she works, you just don’t like her because you’re judging her age and the fact that she’s not Korean. But she’s one of the most honest, hardworking, caring, and amazing people I’ve ever known.”
His voice wasn’t angry; he was the type of person that it took a lot to make him angry. The only emotions I could feel from his words were ones of tenderness and care for me. If anything, the way he spoke felt stronger and more meaningful than words said in anger. “She doesn’t deserve you harassing her like this. We’re all so tired of hearing people like you giving talking badly about her and giving her a hard time when you know nothing about her.”
He grabbed my hand and gently squeezed it as he directed me towards the door.
“I wonder what kind of relationship you must have with them (Y/n)-shi, for them to always be protecting you like that,” Haewon called after us.
Hobi and I both stopped dead in our tracks, and I slowly turned around. “Excuse you?”
“I think you heard me,” Haewon said. I wanted to wipe the smirk off of her face so badly. “What do you really do with the boys, (Y/n)-shi?”
“It’s called having good friends,” Hoseok said as he placed an arm around my shoulders to turn me back toward the exit. “Nothing more than that.”
We finally made it out of the room and Hoseok walked me back to my and Sejin’s office. I couldn’t help but feel affected by her again. Yeah, I stood my ground and talked back to her. But now that we left and my emotions were calming down, I couldn’t help but be shaken up when I processed her words – it was as though she always knew exactly what my insecurities were.
When we arrived at the office, Sejin was not there so it was just the two of us for the moment.
I sat in a chair, placing my elbows on my knees and covering my face with my hands.
“Are you okay, noona?” Hoseok asked, placing a gentle hand on my head.
“I can’t believe she would suggest that there’s something other than friendship between me and you guys,” I said, trying to focus on that rather than my insecurities. “That’s so appalling that she would assume that.”
“She was just trying to get under your skin, that’s all,” Hobi comforted. His voice sounded so calm and soothing.
“I can deal with her saying anything else to me,” I tried to convince myself as I lowered my hands, “but her trying to bring you guys into it just crosses the line,”
“It’s okay, noona. Anything she said was meaningless and you know that.”
“I know.” I sat back in the chair and sighed. “I just don’t get why she won’t leave me alone. You’d think we were teenagers in school with the way she just keeps…”
“Bullying you?” Hoseok finished for me.
“Yeah, I guess it is bullying.”
“You guess?” Hoseok seemed bewildered that I’d say that. “What else does she have to do for you to see it as bullying?”
“It’s not that, it’s just… It’s weird to use that word when we’re talking about a grown woman and not a teenager.”
“I guess some people just don’t grow up.”
Tumblr media
“She said what?!” Jin exclaimed in shock.
After returning back to the dorm, Hoseok decided to tell the rest of the group about what happened at the cafeteria. Part of him had wanted to wait for (Y/n) to tell them together, but he also didn’t want to make her think of it more than she had to. He could tell that whatever that woman said had bothered her more than she let him know.
Yoongi and Taehyung had pointed out the woman to the rest of the members when they would come across her at the company, so even though none of them knew her name – until today – they all knew her face. That was why Hoseok knew he had to intervene when he saw their noona being confronted by her in the cafeteria.
“Wow, she’s got some nerve to make that kind of assumption out in the open like that,” Namjoon said.
“That’s absurd,” Yoongi added. “How can her brain automatically think that’s what’s going on between us, just because we’re being good friends to her?”
“Noona really needs to tell Bang about this,” Taehyung said. “There’s no denying that she’s full on bullying her at this point.”
“I tried telling her that,” Hoseok said. “But she said she still doesn’t want to. She’s sure that she’ll leave her alone from now on, for whatever reason.”
The group was obviously frustrated when Hoseok told them that.
“One of the really wonderful traits about her is that she likes to see and hope for the best in people,” Jin said. “But that’s a fault of hers, too. With this Haewon woman, it’s severely misplaced hope. If anything, she’s showing that she’ll do anything in order to keep bullying her.”
“I know,” Hoseok said with a frown.
A ringtone sounded from Hobi’s phone, and he looked to see it was Sejin calling.
“Hello?” he answered.
“Hey, Hoseok-ah,” Sejin replied. “Sorry for asking, but Bang PD-nim is requesting if you could come to the company. He said he needs to speak with you.”
“Oh, okay.” He was surprised at the request. “I’ll be there shortly.”
“Who was that, hyung?” Jimin asked as Hoseok hung up the call.
“Sejin hyung said Bang needs to speak to me.” He got up to get ready to leave. “Maybe noona did decide to talk to him after all?”
He got ready quickly and made his way to the company, glad it was a quick walk. When he got to Bang PD’s office, he was happy to see (Y/n) there as well. She turned to him as he opened the door and gave him a small smile.
“Hello, Bang PD-nim,” Hoseok greeted as he entered.
“Hello, Hoseok,” Bang responded.
“What’s going on?” Hobi asked as he took a seat next to his noona.
“The events of what happened in the cafeteria this afternoon were brought to my attention, so I needed to speak with the two of you regarding what happened,” the CEO explained.
Hoseok processed the sentence for a moment. “Wait, so it wasn’t noona who came to you about it?” He turned to see her response, and she shook her head. He suddenly felt sick, worried what that woman could have said to try to get (Y/n) in trouble. “Noona didn’t do anything wrong.”
“Don’t worry, Hoseok,” Bang said. “I just needed to get your sides of the story. While there are cameras, there’s no audio so I didn’t know the nature of the conversation. I already got (Y/n)’s statement, so if you would please tell me about your side of the encounter, that would be appreciated.”
“Well, I had to stop by because I left something in the dance studio. On my way back, I walked past the cafeteria and heard noona’s voice,” Hoseok started. “It seemed like something was off, so I walked in to see that woman basically glaring at her and asked what was going on. I found out she was claiming that it was noona’s fault that we lost our debut date for a little while, so I defended her. After that, we walked away together.”
“There’s something else I need to ask,” Bang said. “The staff in question, other than saying that (Y/n) was harassing her, claimed something else as well.”
“Wait, it definitely wasn’t noona doing the harassing,” Hobi said. He couldn’t let her boss think for one second that she wasn’t the victim in this scenario.
“I believe you two, no need to worry. I was just stating what the original claim was. But the other thing she was sure to mention is that she believes there may be… well, she called it ‘inappropriate’ relations between (Y/n) and the members of BTS.”
“Oh my gosh, seriously?” (Y/n) frustratingly ran her hands through her hair. “I promise you, there’s absolutely nothing of that nature going on between us.”
“I also attest to that, Bang PD-nim,” Hoseok said, probably equally as frustrated at the claim as his noona. “As we were walking away, Haewon made a comment implying that she thought there was something more going on between noona and us because of how we keep defending her and helping her. I told her that we’re just being good friends and there was nothing more than that.”
Bang PD seemed to be in thought for a moment. “I believe you, of course. I didn’t believe for one second that (Y/n) would have any kind of non-platonic relationship with any of you without notifying me about it. But also, you make it sound like this wasn’t the first time something like this has happened, Hoseok.”
(Y/n) lowered her head, remaining silent. So Hobi spoke up for her. “It isn’t. She’s been bothering noona – or rather, bullying her – for a while now.”
(Y/n) looked rather uncomfortable as Hoseok admitted that for her, but he didn’t want this to remain hidden anymore. Especially now that Haewon has shown she’ll do anything to try to get her in trouble.
“(Y/n)-shi,” Bang said, turning his attention toward her, “is this true?”
Hoseok placed his hand in (Y/n)’s for support he knew she would need.
She sighed. “Yes, it is, PD-nim. I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, and to be honest I didn’t even know her name until today.”
“What else has happened?” their boss asked.
When his noona hesitated again, Hobi decided to be her voice for her. “Back in December, Haewon had intentionally poured a hot cup of coffee on her in the hallway. She got a second-degree burn from it. Yoongi hyung was with her when it happened. And then in, I believe it was February, she tried to cause trouble when she saw noona with Taehyung in the main lobby but was unsuccessful because he defended her. And now, today happened.”
“And it’s not much,” (Y/n) started, “but my first encounter with her was when me and Sejin oppa were in a meeting and she did have a negative comment or two to say about me. She seemed to hold a grudge against me because that was when I had the idea about using social media and her idea from earlier that same meeting was rejected.”
“Has she made any comments to you about your ethnicity or anything like that?” PD-nim asked.
“Well, not directly,” she replied. “But in a way. She has mentioned my age or ethnicity as negative points when talking about me. And she did use the word ‘foreigner’ with me today, emphasizing it in a way that sounded really rude.”
Hoseok squeezed his eyes closed. They had all known that those things were a part of it, as he had stated while he was defending her today. But hearing his noona have to confirm it made his heart hurt.
“Okay, I think that’s plenty information for now,” Bang PD said. “I can’t really take action for the coffee incident since it was so long ago, but I’ll see if we still have the security footage for it to look at what happened. You’re not in trouble for anything that happened today, (Y/n), don’t worry. But I need you to promise me that if this woman does anything else, you tell me. Workplace bullying isn’t tolerated here, and I won’t let it continue. Do you understand?”
She slowly nodded. “Yes, Bang PD-nim. I understand.”
“Good,” he replied. “You two can go home now. I’m sorry for all the trouble.”
“Thank you, PD-nim,” Hoseok said with a bow. He waited for his noona to say goodbye before walking out of the room with her.
There was silence as they walked home together, but before entering their separate doors (Y/n) broke it. “I’m sorry for dragging you into this, Hobi.”
“There’s nothing to be sorry about, noona,” he replied as he gently pulled her into a hug. “You know we’re here for you whenever you need us.”
He felt her smile against his chest. “I just hope this is the last time we have to worry about her,” she said.
“I hope so too,” Hoseok replied. “I wouldn’t count on it, though. But of course you’ll have us with you. And next time, she’s not going to be getting away with it anymore.”
pairings: namjoon x reader words: 923 a/n: this is my first piece. Only constructive criticism, please.
Where do I begin? Where do I even start?
I am not even sure how I got here…
My head hurts, my body hurts, my insides feel like they are on fire.
My mouth is so dry, and I feel so weak. Where am I?
It’s cold in this room. The sheets smell like a soft lavender with silk to the touch. I don’t remember having silk sheets. This pillow, is it goose feathers? These are not my sheets, this is not my pillow, and this is for sure not my bed. Where am I? As my senses start to awaken, I can hear the rain coming down. I can hear it lightly tapping against the window. I can hear an air humidifier running, or is that a fan? That’s when I notice the steady breathing but a few inches from me. It's soft, steady, calm. My eyes shoot open towards the ceiling as I can feel the warmth radiating next to me. Who the hell is that? Oh god. What did I do?! Where am I?! I turn to my left and there he is. His soft angelic features, tan skin, toned chest rising with every breath that he takes. He looked heavenly. He smelled clean. His steady breathing keeps me calm. I can’t help but stare at him. I don’t even remember his name. I must have met him last night. Except, I don’t remember much of last night. What happened? I remember the cab ride to the place, the ugly look the driver gave us when my friend had bragged about all the men she planned on sleeping with last night, the bouncer who didn’t even look twice before letting us cut the line and skip on in. The place was packed with sweaty, gyrating bodies. You could smell the sweat radiating off the dancefloor. The place was in full vibes. The bartenders were running left and right fulfilling drink orders. The servers, with their tight clothing and asses hanging out waving for extra tips, running around the joint trying not to spill anything. We found our way to the reserved booth set aside for just our party. Tonight is my night, my special night. You could feel the floor was sticky underneath, and I remember regretting wearing my new pair of heels. I remember the shots we ordered, and how fast we threw them back. It was after my fruity pink drink that things get blurry. I have seen this man before. He was leaning up against the bar across the place, chatting it up with some honey he must have met there. He seemed casual, relaxed. His outfit was simple, yet sexy like he didn’t even have to try. I remember standing up and walking in his direction. The rest of it is fuzzy. He was smiling, I was touching his arm. He laughed and I laughed, we touched each other’s arms, hands, waists. I was in a leather seat before I knew it, buckled in. And then, here I am…laying next to that man, with a throbbing headache, and no one idea what time of day it is. Gazing at his face, I reminded of that excited feeling from first seeing him last night. I wish I could remember his name, I don’t even know if he told me at some point. I lay here for a few moments longer, gathering my thoughts, trying to must up some strength to get out of this strange bed. I need to find my phone. Today is my day, my special day. Although, can this day even be considered special anymore. I’ve woken up in a stranger’s bed with no clothes on and no recollection of what happened here. No, today is no longer special. I am guilty. I am guilty of coming home with a stranger, this enchanting stranger. This stranger I can’t seem to stop staring at. How has he not woken up yet? I just want to reach out and run my hands down alongside his slender arms to the point of his fingers. What is your name, stranger? Who are you? I know that I wasn’t that wasted, because the parts of the night are coming back to me. The drive home in the leather seats of his foreign convertible, the aggressive kissing in the elevator, and me looking back at the strewn of clothes that lead to this room. No, I can remember it now, I can remember everything. Last night, he possessed me, bewitched me, and saved me. Today is my special day, I am to marry someone who I don’t want to. This man, this stranger, saved me. He saved me from a lifetime of regret. I am not in love. This is my savior. What is your name?! Oh no, he is stirring now, could he hear my thoughts screaming? He stretches his arms out over his head. Should I pretend to be asleep, should I run to the bathroom, should I pretend to still be drunk? His eyes slowly blink open, revealing those dangerous eyes. We stare at each other. His face is stoic, my breathing has hitched. I feel exposed, disgusted, a whore. Then his expression softens, he must be reliving the night over in his head. He searches my eyes, neither of us breaking this silence. Then that’s when I say, “Good morning”.
“Good morning”, he replies.
“I made a mistake”
“I know”
“How?”
“Because you asked me to save you.”
“I did”
“You did”
“What is your name?”
“Namjoon.”
Namjoon. My savior's name is Namjoon.
“Thank you.”
Finding My Raven
An imagine for my darling Ariella
Jin x reader
“My love for you is like the embers stirring a fire,” Jin sighed reading over the letter again, his boys; a ragtag group of young men, struggling to find their place in an industry out to destroy them. But then, there was her, Y/N, just one look from her could reassure even the most defeated of human. Her melodic voice carrying a tone of tenure over the most senior of her circle, and Jin couldn’t help but fall hopelessly for her.
“Yah! Kim Seokjin, can you focus on us today for a second?!” Jins head snapped up at the sound of a stern leader, Kim Namjoon, staring down at him, his mocha eyes boring deep into Jin's dazed expression.
“Oh, I’m sorry, was I or was I not in the middle of something!” Jin snapped, his calm expression morphing into one of stubbornness. Namjoon sighed and shook his head, snatching the letter from Jin’s hands.
“Until we are done hyung, I’m confiscating this, we need to work together as a grou-...” Jin zoned out, staring just past Namjoon as he lectured him, imagining Y/N’s emotions when she received the letter. Fearing the worst, yet the unflattering feeling of cockiness prevailed over him. Knowing that she would be flattered, and blush, trying to hide her face. He smiled softly imagining her brain trying to figure out who sent her the letter, going over all the little things she could think of. Her mind would focus on all seven of her favourite boys, but Kim Seokjin, knew this. He knew she would realize who sent it by the nickname the letter addressed her by; little Raven.
“I gotta bounce guys, bye.” Jin stood up hurriedly, snatching his letter from Namjoon, rushing out of the building to your apartment. He hummed a small tune to himself, admiring the birds of the city flying, circling each other flirting with the wind. His eyes settled on a small raven, an oddity, it’s dark feathers creating a dark purple halo around its dainty head. Jin stopped in his tracks, staring at the raven, who preened its wings before fluttering up to a branch, with a much bigger bird, an elegant dove, its chocolate brown feathers a light contrast to the ravens. The dove should have flown away, the raven was a feared and revered bird, and yet it stayed, observing and cooing. Jin expected the raven to become aggressive but instead it shook itself, and puffed out its small chest, showing off. He chuckled at the scene and walked onward, the raven and the dove imprinted on his mind.
Not far away a lonely Y/N sat, whistling to Once Upon a Dream, a violin sat beside her, forgotten, along with her sheet music and bow. Her dull eyes flitted around, observing people on the street, her plump lips forming an endearing pout with each happy couple she saw. Her heart sank with each couples passing, her mind wandering into the dark abyss of what ifs and how it could bes. A soft sigh left her perfect pout which was a staple to her expressions now a days, twirling a piece of hair around her finger. A small harrumph left her lips as she picked up her forgotten violin, bringing it to her shoulder, she plucked the E string, and then began to play the haunting melody. Her fingers ran through the frets, the muscle memory proving to be a fantastic embellishment on her playing. A smile formed on Y/N’s face as ‘The Dance Macabre’ reached its climax, her movements becoming more frantic, her strokes with the bow becoming more sharp, rasping out the tune, The song ended on an out of tune snap, her body shaking as she looked to her door. A beautifully embellished letter paper sat, the pale pink reflecting the sunlight.
“B-bonjour? Est-ce qu’une personne était ici?” Y/N spoke, her native french flowing out of her mouth. Tentatively she grabbed the letter, and instantly catching a whiff of a familiar smell, her eyes lit up bringing back the spark her eyes so usually held. She ripped open the letter, her excitement getting the best of her, building up a bubble in her throat. The refreshing smell of aftershave and cherry blossoms entering her nose in a welcoming endeavor, her eyes hungrily scanning the letter.
My Dear Little Raven,
I must say, I have something to confess, I adore you. I adore you but not in a typical adoration. You’re a refreshing breeze on a humid day, you’re a beautiful melody saving a poorly acted play. But most of all, you’re the light in the back of my eyes, changing me from a boy  to a man. This must sound silly, confessing my feelings, saying I was not a man until you came into my life, but it is true. I was merely running through life’s motions, what it threw at me I took, dodging things as best I could. But you, you my sweet little Raven, you have changed it all. I welcome life’s challenges, and take them in stride, just for the chance to hear your soft voice utter a phrase. To hear your lovely laugh reach my ears after I tell a horrid joke. Just to see your face light up into a smile when you have the time of your life with me and the boys.
I suppose you take me for the sappy type now, writing my feelings out on a piece of paper, too scared to say it to your face. But I promise I am a man, I just cannot do this face to face, for I am weak around you, and I know I will melt upon your touch. I always have, and I must sound horrible to admit this, but even your ugly bow you wear, in order to hide your face, I melt seeing you in that, even if it makes you look like an old french lady. If you would have me, sweet Raven, I would like you to find me, yes me. If you know who I am, I beg you to find me, sitting under our favourite tree outside of the cafe. If you do not come I shall assume you did not reciprocate my feelings, which I understand. Adieu little Raven
With love,
The Dove
Y/N wasted no time grabbing her coat and running to the small cafe on the corner of her small residential street, her eyes searching for him. Her person, the one who cared and wanted her to be herself, even when she thought she wasn’t enough. She saw him across the way, his fair face lighting up into the most breathtaking smile, and she ran. She ran right into his arms, inhaling his scent of aftershave and cherry blossoms, gripping him tightly, their emotions colliding into a cosmic battle of  strength.
“You are the dove to my raven, and I will forever remember you as the one who saw me as a good omen, instead of a bad one,”
Meet The Boyfriend
jeon jungkook x male!reader
word count – 1K
genre – MAJOR FLUFF | idol!au?
warnings – none
synopsis – Hey can you write bts reacting to jungkook finally introducing his boyfriend to the rest of the group?
Tumblr media
"You know how much they've been bugging me to meet you?" Jungkook said.
You grinned, happy to hear that was the case. Though Jungkook was acting confident, the bouncing of his left leg suggested otherwise.
Jungkook was nervous.
Way, way beyond nervous.
It wasn't that he had a problem with himself, all his hyungs knew of the fact that he liked boys. But they are about to meet you as his boyfriend was what made it nervous. They knew that there was someone, they just had no idea who it actually was. That someone was you, but they only thought you an Jungkook were best friends from high school.
Well, they weren't wrong, best friends that made out whenever the time and chance would let them. Declare their love for each other and cuddled without saying 'no homo' because, well, full homo.
But, Jungkook was feeling spontaneous, and he asked the boys to dress up and meet him at his chosen restaurant, telling them that he just wanted to treat them dinner; when reality it was all a plan to get them to finally meet you; [Y/N] [L/N], Jeon Jungkook's boyfriend for whole eight month, and crush for six years.
He didn't know how they'll react. Considering this is a secret he's kept from the whole group for such a long time. Partly because he didn't think it would last this long; he genuinely thought that the whole 'dating a world-famous kpop idol' thing would be too much for you. But it didn't seem to be, you were hopelessly in love with him, and vice versa. Jungkook was just worried that his hyungs would feel a bit betrayed...
"Do you..." You began as soon as you came to a red light, turning over to your boyfriend, "They obviously know who I am. But... Do you think they'll approve? Honestly? You're obviously too good for me so I don't know–"
Jungkook leaned over immediately, his lips meeting yours to shut down your insecurities as soon as possible. Soft. Yet full of love, moving his head slightly so he could get more of you in the same few seconds the two of you had.
Jungkook pulled away gently, looking at you with soft yet pressing eyes, "You and I could've picked anyone to love, yet it's lead me to you. If they don't like that, who's stopping me from seeing you? Jin?"
You laughed, "Honestly? Yeah."
Jungkook giggled, leaning back down so he could sit properly in the leather car seats, only this time taking his hand in yours, giving it a gentle squeeze as if to let you know he was there. "I believe in you."
You smiled, "Likewise. I believe in you too."
You opened the restaurant door for Jungkook, earning a small 'thank you' as he entered in first, you following a bit afterwards.
"안녕하세요!" Jungkook said, immediately stopping the chatter between the six boys.
"Kookie-ah!" Jimin said in glee looking behind him to see you, then looked at Jungkook in confusion to not see an unknown face, "Wasnt your boyfriend able to make it or something?"
Taehyung coughed and Yoongi took a second to kick Jimim from under the table, causing Jimin to yelp in pain out of the sudden action.
Jin's eyes shot wide, "No fucking way."
Jungkook looked down, blushing deeply, and you couldn't stop yourself from grinning with such pride, "안녕하세요, you all know me as [Y/N], but I'm also Jungkookie's boyfriend."
Najoon handed Yoongi a lump of paper money.
Jimin was still just as shocked as Jin, Taehyung struggled to breathe properly, Hoseok and Yoongi were quickly moving aside to give the two of you some space to sit down and Namjoon was bummed out at the fact that he was wrong for once.
"Wait wait, hold on!" Jin said as soon as he regained his ability to speak without shock.
Now you were scared, just a bit. Only Namjoons approval mattered for Jungkook, but for you, it was either everyone or no one to make you feel comfortable.
You were completely in love with Jungkook, and if the people that Jungkook considered family weren't happy with you dating their youngest member; you're fucked.
"How long?" Namjoon interrupted, he was more civil, so it made you that little bit less nervous.
"Eight. Almost nine months."
Namjoon grumbled, handing Yoongi another few notes of cash.
Yoongi put the money in his pocket, then turned to the two of you, giving you two a small smile, "If you're treating each other well, then I really don't care, " He then looked at you, "Break Kook's heart and I kill you. You're a great guy, so I doubt it, but better safe than sorry."
You immediately nodded.
To say the least, you had absolutely everyone's approval by the end of the night. You got to exit the room with Jungkook, being know as the man who he fell in love with.
A title you couldn't be happier with.
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
Yoongi’s attention from his laptop was diverted as a small package fell in his lap. He looked in the direction of the intruder and found you smiling at him. “I found one again” you sighed as you took a seat next to him. Curiosity getting the best of him, he opened the small packet of fortune cookie, and broke it in half. He fumbled as the small slip of message fell on the floor. He picked it up and read it. “This is one crazy person” he held up to your face as you read it. ‘Our beginning was like our ending, and our ending just like our beginning’
Someone had been leaving fortune next to your coffee at work every morning. It had almost been a month as this had become a regular occurrence. At first you were annoyed because the messages irked you as the hidden identity of the sender creeped you out. But as days went by, you found yourself smiling after reading the message each time. On the days when your secret admirer hadn’t put them in the same place you would panic and wonder if everything was okay. Chaos would ensue as you would end up messing the orders of customers. At times you wondered if it was one of the regulars of the cafe you worked at.
Even Yoongi took an interest in the situation as he would sit in his private corner of the cafe every morning as you started work, and observe all the regular customers to try and figure out who it could be. But no one seemed crazy enough to like you so he kicked the habit after a while.
  You brought out your special jar that you had bought a few weeks ago, and added the little slip of paper with the other ones. Yoongi eyed you as if you were crazy. “Seriously?” his eyes flickered between you and the jar, his message clear. “What? Everyone needs some love okay? We’re not all hermit’s like you” you shrugged and set the jar on the coffee table in front of you.
You meant to ask Yoongi whether he came up with any candidates with the potential to be your secret admirer, but hesitated not wanting him to think you were taking personal interest in the situation. However he had seen your jar, so he probably already knew of your liking surrounding the circumstances. Turning to him fully and grabbing the laptop from his lap, you closed it and set it beside yourself.
Before he could curse you out you blurted out the question. “So anyone in particular you think could possibly be behind this” you pointed to the jar. He sighed in frustration and glared at you clearly annoyed at having his laptop taken away and then being asked a very pointless question. The bell rang before he could give you an answer. Namjoon walked in with Jimin following close behind.
As you saw him walking towards you a sudden thought appeared in your head. Could Namjoon possibly be the person who was behind the fortune cookies? You shook yourself mentally. You had pined for him for so long that you secretly desired for him to be the person who sent you all the notes. However such longing had resulted in you developing self- deprecating thoughts about yourself, so much so that all your desires and hopes were pushed away every single time by thoughts that centred around him being unattainable. After all he was the coveted leader of Bangtan Sonyeondan.
You weren’t sure why you weren’t hiding the jar but as Jimin pointed towards it questioning why you were collecting fortune cookie slips, Namjoon glanced your way before busying himself in making conversation with Yoongi. “Someone’s been leaving fortune cookies next to my coffee at work every single morning for the past month” you paused and glanced at Namjoon hoping for some kind of reaction but your spirits deflated when he didn’t react at all. Jimin cocked his eyebrows at you, in a somewhat perverted way, and you chucked a cushion at him.
“Who would be crazy enough to send you stuff like this?” Namjoon laughed. You glared daggers at him. “Why? Are you jealous?” you countered to which Namjoon scoffed. “No I am just wondering about the poor guy without a brain who thinks ending up with you would be such a good idea” he smirked. Yoongi and Jimin looked at each other and shook their heads. You two were so oblivious to your liking for each other that Yoongi technically felt like barfing at all the tension that surrounded the room.
The words somehow stung, and you left the room but not before flipping him off. “Way to go” Yoongi smiled at him rather sarcastically. You slammed the door to your room and flopped down on the bed. His words made you wonder all the more just how unlikeable you were.
Maybe you had liked the wrong guy all this times. Maybe you had pinned all your hopes on the wrong person. Tears fell from your eyes as you heard a knock on your door. “Namjoon is calling you in his studio” Yoongi’s voice drifted through the door. “Tell him to fuck himself for all I care” you sniffled. You really needed a lock for your door considering how easily yoongi had invaded your privacy just now.
He left the door ajar, and you heard vibrations through the walls and you knew that on the 3rd floor Namjoon had turned on his music. “Why can’t his studio be at his place?” you asked Yoongi. But you knew he would tell you it was convenient as he had a million other times before you had asked him the question. Music drifted through the speakers in the living room and you heard a soft melody play. Namjoon was good at producing music, and you wanted to slap yourself for praising him like a schoolgirl even after he had hurt you. You sniffled again and Yoongi looked at you before chuckling lightly.
Our beginning was like our ending, and our ending just like our beginning’  as you heard the words your eyes widened and you looked at Yoongi in shock. You figured he was just as lost because his expression mirrored yours. “Namjoon?” you both said in unison. You hopped off the bed and ran in the direction of the living room, settling in front of the coffee table and emptying the contents of the jar on it. While carefully listening to the song, you scanned the slips and realized that the messages were actually lyrics to Namjoon’s song.
“I am sorry” his voice interrupted your thoughts and you stood up, your back to him. You weren’t sure how to react because the reality that he might like you too hit you so fast, you were having trouble processing it.
You turned around, marched towards him in long strides, stopping close enough to feel his breath tickle your lips. Your eyes looked up to meet his, and as you gazed into them you felt him tense. You eyes flickered to his lips. You needed to know, to confirm that he returned your feelings too. So you cupped his cheeks, pulling him towards you and crashed your lips onto his.
 The first few seconds he didn’t respond, and feeling dejected for a moment you were going to pull away but then you felt hand push you closer to him by the small of your back and his other hand gripping your neck. Namjoon kissed you back, and if you ever thought you had any chance of kissing him senseless you were wrong. Because Namjoon was kissing you hard. He took your breath away, and as you pulled away for air he smiled at you.
You suddenly found yourself shy and embarrassed, so you looked away from him. “I like you too” he pecked your lips before pulling you into a short hug. “Finally” you heard Yoongi say before Jimin interrupted him making kissing sounds at you both. “Don’t worry Jimin, Yoongi hyung can help you out with that” he winked at them both.
 Yoongi glared at him so hard that Namjoon froze. “You ship them too?” You asked excitement evident in your voice. “Yes. But I ship us more” he pecked your lips once more before Yoongi groaned and Jimin’s jaw dropped to the floor. “Get a fucking room” Yoongi slammed the door to your room and shut himself in, irritated by Namjoon’s comment.
——————————————————————
‘ Oh these bitches got me all the way fucked up’
“well I guess we could go back home for a while. Right my lovelies?” You ask your two afghan hounds, Cleo and Benji. You two babies you’d be damned if you’d let that piece of shit keep them. He can’t even keep himself.
As you drive home you think about what you’re going to say to you parents. You know they’re gonna be upset you left in the first place for someone who had ‘unknown origins’ but you never saw it that way. You really did love him, but you weren’t going to cry over a man. That just wasn’t in you. What would your mother say? You’d rather not think about what you father would say
when you pull up to the security gate the guard is surprised to see you, but none the less let’s you in and quickly gets in the phone. Most likely to tell your parents you were coming up no doubt. “Nothings changed,” you say to yourself as you drive through the landscape up to the manor. As you pull up to the mansion you see you mother running out to great you. “My baby! You’re home! I’ve missed you so much.” Your mother exclaimed as she kisses you all over your face. “Hey mama,” you laugh. “Where’s Dad?” You ask following her into the house. “Oh he’s up int the drawing room right now, he has a guess at the moment. Maybe it’s someone you might remember.” She says smirking to herself. “ I know that look mummy, who’s here?” “An old friends is all I’m going to say,” your mother had a cheeky look on her face when she said that. “Oh you’re up to something weird,” you say to her but ultimately you let it go.
“So are you going to tell you why you’ve come here all of a sudden after no contact for 5 years?” Your mother presses. “I doubt you don’t already know, I know you and daddy have been keeping tags on me since I left.” You answer her as she gives you an innocent face. “I do but I’d like to hear the story from you.” Your mother has been keeping tabs on you since you left, so she definitely knows the whole story. So you tell her everything. What they did and everything they’ve said about you. “Well good thing you didn’t have to deal with trivial matters like that anymore,” she says rolling her eyes at the thought of you ex. “What does that mean momma?” You ask catching the double meaning in her words. “It means you will have a chance to make things right for you and the family reputation.you know what we had to go though and cover up once you left.” She tells you low key reprimanding you at the same time.
*sigh* ”okay momma I’ll do whatever it takes to go back to being the head of the family, and kill those pieces of shit classily.” You tell your mom smirking. Your mom laughs at you change of mood, and leads you to the drawing room where you father is. You hear voices on the other side of the doors besides your fathers. Your mother open the door excited to show your father that you’re back home. When she does you dad looks like he expected to see you on the other side, while he looks at you but you’re focused on the man sitting across from him. “Jungkook,” You breathe out. “Hey y/n long no see,” he says with a breath taking smile. “ welcome home y/n we were actually just talking about you. Before we can accept you back we have one condition.” Your father explains to you. “And what is that daddy?” You ask already having an idea as you continue ti stare at Jungkook. Amazed at how much more mature he’s gotten.
“You have to agree to our previous arrangement, and marry Jungkook.” You father says not wasting anytime. Well at least he welcomed you back. You’d expected him to not speak to acknowledge your existence while you were there. “Okay. I’ll do it.” You rempli to your father watching him stand and make his way over to you. You weren’t expecting him to hug you, but he does. It’s the most loving hug you’ve ever received from you father. ”I’ve missed you babydoll,” he whispers kissing your forehead. “I’ve missed you too daddy,” you say hugging him back trying not to cry.
After a while your mother steps in “I’d hate to break up this touching moment, but we need to get y/n ready for tonight.” You look at her confused “what’s tonight?” “Your engagement party of course!” She says excitedly “why did I think I’d at least have a week to get settled in. You guys already had this planned out didn’t you? I bet you guys called the Jeon family as soon as you found out I was coming right?” You interrogate. Your father chuckles next to you as you look at you parents incredulously. “It was your fathers idea. I said we should wait at least a day.” You mother adds. “ of course it was,” you say as your father looks the other direction with a cheeky smile.
you turn to look at Jungkook who’s been unusually quiet. Watching the scene in front of him. “Were you in on this too?” You ask him looking past your parents. “I actually just found out the moment before you came in,” he responds with a small smile. “But I can say it’s been some of the best news I’ve gotten all week. I really missed you y/n.” He says scratching the nape of his neck. You and Jungkook have been arranged since childhood. He’s always had a crush on you, it broke his heart when you refused to marry him for someone else. But now that he has you he’s not going to let you go again. “I missed you too JK, you’ve grown up so much I barely even recognized you,” you say chuckling. “Yeah I know right. It’s crazy how much people can change over a short amount of time.” He says looking at you with a look you just couldn’t decipher.
Before you could respond you mother cuts in again “Ma fille, we really need to get you ready for tonight. Ah please take her bags up to her room and get her into the proper attire.” You mother asks the head maid. “Oh and burn whatever she’s wearing.” She points at your outfit , covering her face with a look of disgust. “Cheri what is this atrocity you’re wearing. It hurts to look at.” You were wearing white beach shorts, a stripped tee and a green cardigan. It’s not what you were used to wearing when you were home. But it was comfortable and made you stand out less. “Momma it’s not that bad,” you defend. “No babydoll your mothers right. That’s not something anyone in our family would wear, maybe if the cardigan wasn’t the same shade of puke it would pass as inside clothes. No scratch that no one would ever wear that in their entire lives.” You father adds looking slightly disgusted. You look at you parents shocked at them reading you to filth. Behind them you see Jungkook holding his laughter while covering his face. Before you could defend yourself further you’re already being ushered out of the room.
Authors note: This, if not obvious, is my first time writing. Like call me the virgin marry of writing cuz idk what I’m doing. But we gone figure it out though. Anyways some things might change throughout the story just bear with me. This is actually a piece of the end not the whole thing. More of a drabble if you will darling, cuz idk if it’s good or not and Ian trynna EMBARRASS myself. But in all honesty I want honest reviews just don’t hurt my feelings I will cry 😐 I would like respectful constructive criticism, not no “yOu WrItInG DumB HAr hAr🤓” type bs y’all can take that childish shit somewhere else, and other writers feel the same way when people do stuff like that kind of stuff isn’t cute or funny when you’re the only one laughing babes. Sorry I just went on a whole tangent. Anyways enjoy my piece of a piece 😂 (Edit: ex doesn’t have a name neither does the ex bff)
——————————————————————
Everyone is having their own separate conversations when ex bff brings up the fact that y/n doesn’t look like she’s feeling well. Y/n bushes it off but ex bff pushes a little harder and say “I’m just trying to make sure you and your baby are okay” the table goes dead silent, everyone too stunned to speak. Jungkook watching quietly.
“ what is she talking about?” Asks ex bf. Y/n calm as ever replies “ I’m pregnant.” Looking right at (name). “Well I don’t know what to say,” ex bf goes on to say while acting flattered. “I mean you know I’ve always wanted to be a dad-“
“it’s mine.”
Everyone turned shocked to look at Jungkook who’d been sitting quietly the whole time. “How long?” He proceeds to ask, ignoring everyone around them. “Around 8 weeks” y/n responds. “When did you find out?“ His questioning continues “Yesterday morning.” Y/n answered, not missing a beat “why didn’t you tell me?” He interrogates further. “It was going to be a surprise, but it seems plans have changed.” She answers calmly, although she is agitated that her plans were ruined all for a petty jab that gave the latter 5 seconds of satisfaction.
“Wait… what’s going on?” Ex question confusingly. “you know him?” He asks y/n. “Y’a she does, rather well actually. We grew up together” Jungkook answers. “Y/n and I are married.” “WHAT!!” Ex exclaims “Since when?!” Ex continues “because we broke up about 2 months ago. The time checks out. So that would mean you cheated on me.” He reach’s.
“Well not exactly.” Jungkook goes on to explain. “Y/n and I were arranged by our parents when we were little. But then she chose to be with you and was disowned by her family. So when you guys broke up, she went back to her family under the condition that she marries me. How it was always supposed to be.” He finishes looking at ex.
“So wait.” Everyone turns to look at ex bff. “Y/n isn’t some poor gold digger “ex” found off the street? I don’t believe that.” She says spitefully. “I’ve know y/n for years and not once has she ever showed she is the heiress like you all say. I mean how come i’ve never seen or heard about her? Huh? Riddle me that?”
“Do you not know what disowned means you mamahuevo? Eh? Does anything flicker between the last two brain cells you have AI COÑAZO CULO! EL BURRO SABE MAS QUE TU!!” Gabriella screams at ex bff fed up with her bs this weekend, bout ready to jump her if she wasn’t worried for y/n’s stress levels.
“This is some Penelope Douglas ass shit bitch.” Meimi whispers to Jimin next to her waiting to see what happens next.
Every time I get on my computer or iPad it’s always some shit that makes me turn it off and not get back on it for weeks at a time (it’s the same with my phone) but yeah I swear y’all will get this fic. Just give me some time to reconnect bc the internet is getting to be too much.
