Request Headcanon

nuttymouthful asked: Uhh may I make a request for Ouran High School Host club? Just a headcanon for how the host would react to meeting someone how is a big time animal lover. (Like they pretty much live there life like the Irwin family)

A/N: I was thinking about how I’d write this and my brain just went ‘they lost their shit at the sight of instant coffee’, so uhh I hope this is to your liking. I tried to get as much animal variety as I could even though I didn’t really touch on marine animals that much)

Warnings: Like 2 swear words (pinky promise), slight drug mention(literally so small you might not even notice it), spoilers (minor) for Tamaki’s mom

Word Count: 1292

General

So this is under the assumption that like the Irwin family, Reader (or their family) has access to a wide variety of animals (from domestic to wild)

All of them respect the passion you have for animals

While they all might have various feelings on animals (see below), they can’t deny that you truly do love animals

Your family’s sanctuary focuses on healing injured animals and rehabilitating them so they can go back into the wild

Of course, your family has many sanctuaries around the world and some focus more on conservation while others focus on research

The one closest to the school focuses mainly on conservation and as such, is massive and functions like a zoo ( in terms of having people come in and see the animals)

Anyways, the host club is very supportive and often helps you with organizing donation events

Oftentimes, your family will collaborate with them and allow them to rent out parts of the conservation center for events

Aside from the conservation center though, your family owns a few ranches and farms (not for commercial profit, although yall have sold a few animals)

The farms and ranches are relatively small scale but they make great venues for the host club and a great place for getaways/vacations

Your main house is where you keep most of your favorite animals

You have an aviary attached to your room (connected through a hallway that connects to your room) as well as a butterfly garden in the backyard

You also have an aquarium tank, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 snake, and a hamster that visits on weekends

You had to be stopped at some point

Tamaki

Tamaki loves animals

He was never really around animals growing up because of how sensitive his mom’s immune system is

So when he sees that you’re an animal person, he’s super excited

Like this man is already planning playdates between Antoinette and your pets/animals

You love his enthusiasm, just one small problem

It’s a little too much enthusiasm

Yes the animals are well trained, but how would you react if a 6′0 giant with long arms came barreling towards you screaming showing its teeth?

So yeah, Tamaki tends to set the animals off/ make them nervous

Because of that he’s only allowed around certain animals (ex. certain monkeys, certain birds, etc.)

He’s happy that he’s allowed around some animals but he still pouts every time there’s an animal he can’t be around

Kyoya

This man

Kyoya does not fuck with animals. Like at all

The first time the host club went to your house, you were holding a hamster and Kyoya moved back about 10 feet

When you asked him what was wrong, he just said “Rats are carriers of many of the most deadly diseases”

You told him that you were holding a hamster and that while hamsters were rodents, the worst he’d get sick with would be salmonella

He doesn’t believe you, but yeah sure whatever

For Kyoya it just gets worse after that

The first time he sees you holding a tarantula, he loses his shit

“Look how cute it is Kyoya!”

“Get that vermin away from me!”

I could go on and on about how much Kyoya doesn’t like animals (even domestic ones like cats and dogs)

He hates going to your house, but he often has to go there in order to set up events for the host club, what a nightmare

While he doesn’t care for animals, the business side of his brain can’t help but think of a marketing opportunity

Mori

Is one of two hosts that are going to be chill about it

He doesn’t feel one way or the other about animals and thinks it’s cool that you’re interested in them

Only thing is; if Honey’s afraid of your animals, he will have to ask you to leave he won’t hesitate to step in “harm’s” way

Surprisingly though, that actually makes him the chillest with your animals

Much to your surprise (and Tamaki’s sorrow), the animals love him

He just has this calming vibe that sets the animals at ease

It also helps that he smells nice and is super tall

For most of them it’s like sitting on a giant tree

He’s not really complaining though, it makes his job of protecting Honey that much easier

Honey

Oh boy

He might actually be the worst with animals

It’s not even an issue of being unable to defend against aggressive animals (Honey could probably solo a grizzly bear)

It’s just he has a very strict “cute” animal policy that changes wildly depending on his mood, the temperature, the angle of the wind, the humidity, etc.

He’s very bougie when it comes to what animals he will tolerate and what animals he will refuse to see

The general safe choices are rabbits (especially bunnies), kittens, cows, tits (the bird species), and baby animals of almost every domestic mammal species)

Him and the hamster you see on weekends are best friends

Also, you have had issues with him trying to feed the animals sweets

Explaining to Honey why rabbits can’t have carrot cake was not an easy conversation, nor was it one you thought you’d need to have

Because of how specific he is about what animals he finds cute, you likened him to a crocodile (because of how sensitive they are to temp. changes in egg)

Needless to say...he was not pleased

Hikaru

So him and Kaoru don’t really care for animals but they try to relate to you in somewhat similar but different ways

Hikaru is always trying to get you to do/recreate stunts with the animals

“Hey Y/N, we should-”

“No Hikaru”

“You don’t even know what I was gonna say”

“No you cannot use the dolphins for hoop tricks, no you cannot teach the gorillas how to roll blunts, no you cannot “bribe” the koalas with eucalyptus...”

Yeah he’s a menace

It’s mostly all in good fun though

Hikaru doesn’t really care for animals but he does find it hilarious that the animals like him more than Tamaki

Also, completely random but Hikaru definitely send you those “horse-sized duck vs duck sized horses” memes

Kaoru

Kaoru also tries to use animals on the internet to relate to you, but he’s a lot tamer than Kaoru

Kaoru is kind of like the parent who learns one thing you like and is like “that’s your entire personality right?”

Poor bby is trying his best

Anyways, whereas Hikaru tries to recreate memes, Kaoru sends you them

They range in quality and format; from top text, bottom text to “is this a ____”

At least once a day, Kaoru will send you a meme or picture of an animal with a caption that says ‘this reminded me of u :)’

It’s so endearing that you can’t even be mad about it

Haruhi

Is the only other one who’s kind of cool about the whole thing

She’s really only been around animals in the park or the occasional pet store

Growing up, she didn’t really have the time (or money) to go to the zoo, that and the fact that Ranka doesn’t care at all for animals (she thinks they’re weird and gross)

When Tamaki hears this, he works himself up into a frenzy, torn that his “daughter” has never been to a zoo (even tho he hasn’t either)

But she likes the fact that you’re so passionate about animals

At heart, she’s a scholar, so she loves learning new things she didn’t know before, she could spend all day just listening to you talk about animals

Not to mention the fact that you’re basically giving her a free informational tour every time you see an animal

Established relationship, the host club meeting Mori’s s/o they had no idea about 👀

“Takashi~ Please!”

The short blonde whined as he clung onto the taller male’s leg. He responded with a mere grunt as his eyebrows were furrowed in frustration.

“Why not?! Takashi!”

Mori did his best to ignore his cousin as he trudged into the music room with the wailing male glued to his leg.

Mori was thankful that today wasn’t a hosting day, or else he would’ve been dreading the concerned looks from the guests as he had to come up with a lie to explain why Honey was throwing a tantrum.

“What’s up with him?”

Haruhi asked as she questioningly eyed the blonde. Mori let out a frustrated sigh as his expression was less than pleased - something that was way out of character for the black haired male.

“T-Takashi has a girlfriend, but he won’t let me meet her!”

Honey continued to cry as he stuck to the leg of his poor cousin in hopes to get him to change his mind. The rest of the hosts overheard the male - seeing as he wasn’t necessarily being quiet - and began to gather around Mori.

“You have a girlfriend?!”

“Since when were you seeing someone?”

“I wanna meet her too!”

“You never told us you had a girlfriend!”

Mori felt himself being overwhelmed as he was bombed with sudden questions left and right. Haruhi decided to step in and push the rests of the hosts - including Honey - away from Mori and gave the male a chance to breathe.

“Guys, let’s not overwhelm him. I’m sure he’ll be willing to answer questions one at a time”

“Is it true, Mori-Senpai? Do you really have a girlfriend?”

Tamaki eagerly asked. All eyes were on Mori as he felt himself become uneasy. His cheeks tinted a light shade of pink as his gaze drifted to the side, slowly nodding in the process. Gasps could be heard from the other hosts as Honey was quick to ask the next question.

“Does she go here, Taka-Chan? Could we all meet her?!”

Mori shook his head no, disappointment radiating from the hosts. Haruhi tilted her head in confusion,

“How do you know her then, Mori-Senpai?”

“Middle school”

“Do I know her, do I know her?!”

Honey eagerly asked, which caused Mori to think before shaking his head no.

“Could we meet her, Senpai?”

Mori hesitated as everyone eagerly awaited his answer.

“…Maybe”

It was a normal hosting day for the club, guests coming and going as the hosts entertained whoever they were assigned to. The day eventually came to an end as the last few guests took their leave.

“Taka-Chan! Aren’t you coming home?”

Honey looked up at his taller cousin, who shook his head in response. The rest of the hosts looked at the male in confusion, finding it odd that he wasn’t leaving - especially with Honey.

“What’s the matter, Senpai? Are you waiting for someone?”

Haruhi asked, to which Mori nodded. Before anyone else could ask questions, one of the doors to the music room suddenly opened. Everyone turned to see the most unique girl they had ever seen.

Her hair was an unusual texture, and in a unique style they had never seen. Glasses framed her face perfectly as her eyes peeked from behind. She wasn’t wearing Ouran’s uniform. In fact, she was wearing [outfit of your choice], which seemed to match her perfectly.

Although, what stood out the most was her skin. It was darker than any of them had ever seen. It was a beautiful shade of brown that lightened at the palm of her hands. Her skin was smooth and beautiful, it was almost like they were staring at a goddess from a fairytale.

The female questioningly scanned the room before locking eyes with a certain black haired male. Her expression immediately lightened as a smile made its was to her lips.

“Takashi!”

The female casually strode up to the tall male, wasting no time embracing him with a hug as he returned the gesture.

“Sorry I’m a bit late, I got lost. Your instructions were thorough, but I got a bit confused”

The female apologized as she removed herself from the hug, sheepishly looking up at her lover. Mori smiled, placing his hand on the top of her head to let her know that it was okay.

“Are you Taka-Chan’s girlfriend!?”

The female’s arm was suddenly yanked as she came face-to-face with a short blonde. The female hesitated, turning around to face Mori. The male gave her a reassuring nod, the girl smiling before turning to face the short boy.

“I am. I’m [Y/n] [L/n]”

“Woah! You’re so pretty!”

Honey enthusiastically complimented, which earned a light chuckle from [Y/n].

“Thank you!”

“So, how exactly did you and Mori-Senpai meet?”

The twins simultaneously asked, raising their eyebrows as their gaze shifted between [Y/n] and Mori. The male had a faint blush on his cheeks as he looked away, [Y/n] - on the other hand - grabbed ahold of Mori’s hand and smiled.

“It’s a funny story, actually. I had to bring some papers to the school’s nurse, but the nurse wasn’t there and instead I saw Takashi attempting to wrap a bruise on his arm with one hand. He was obviously struggling, so I helped him out. He’s been stuck with me ever since”

[Y/n] joked, playfully nudging Mori with the side of her hip.

“I can’t believe you’ve never introduced me to [Y/n]-Chan, Takashi! She’s so cool!”

The short blonde whined to his cousin, who let out a grunt.

“Agreed! Although, you and your accent are very unique. Where are you from - if I may ask?”

Tamaki genuinely questioned with a tilt of his head. [Y/n] smiled,

“I’m from [country of origin], but moved to Japan five years ago when I was thirteen. My dad’s Japanese and my mom’s black!”

[Y/n] explained. As she talked more about her origin and past to the club, Mori smiled at his significant other.

Maybe I should’ve introduced her sooner.

As for rules i don’t write dark content. Incest, stepcest, non con or anything like that. But I do write gore, i absolutely love horror so I don’t mind that. I also do not age up characters, smut will be written bout characters 18+

When it comes to fandoms I have tagged the ones I’ve done the most! Other include assassination classroom, haikyuu, kurokos no basket, Naruto (especially the akatsuki), Marbel hornets, bleach, hunter x hunter, and mononoke. As you can see it’s mostly anime! But movies such as bullet train, horror movies, and Deadpool are exceptions. As for characters all of them are fine I don’t have any limits.

I write for both male and female, most time I do gender neutral but when doing requests I do whatever the requester wants. I’m fine with writing them as dom or sub I’m pretty good at writing both!

If you’ve been together longer he’ll pay for you to get your hair done whether that be braids, locks, straightened, dyed, etc.

He asks a lot of questions because he doesn’t want to accidentally do or say something to make you uncomfortable

If someone is racist towards you they’re going to wish they were dead. They will be losing their job, getting kicked out of school, and blacklisted in the career path they wanted to go in

As much as he doesn’t seem sentimental he most definitely has photos of you two hanging all around his room

The first time you come over you’re surprised by the items in his bathroom

You had come over and the two of you were having a great time. You were watching movies and playing games. At some point he had started playing with your hair. It felt so nice. “Sorry, is this okay? I heard recently that you should ask before touching black hair.”

“It’s fine, that’s more for strangers not for my boyfriend.” You smile at his thoughtfulness. Unfortunately your bladder had other ideas. No matter how many times you’ve been to his house you still have trouble remembering which door is the bathroom and what’s just a closet.

He laughed at you still not being able to find the bathroom and pointed to the door by his bed. “The one closest to the bed is the bathroom.” As you walked in though you were shocked to find various curl creams, mousse, leave-in conditioner, and a spray bottle with water.

“Kyo? What’s all this?”

“Ah, you found them. Good. I know that you usually bring your own hair products from home but I thought it would be more efficient if I just bought some to keep here for you.”

“Thank you, I love you.”

“I love you too.” And you’ve never believed it more.

2. PISSBABY TSUKISHIMA

"BYE MA!! LOVE YOU TOO! SEE YOU AFTER SCHOOL!" y/n screamed out as she shut the door behind her. today was the day that y/n started school at karasuno high. she wasn't nervous, not at all. y/n never had any trouble making friends. she was an outgoing person and was easy to get along with.

beginning her walk to school, she decided to text the group chat to see how everyone was doing. the gc was originally made by the twins and y/n for chaotic reasons, but sooner or later they actually used the group chat for important reasons like planning or just occasionally checking up on each other.

'i miss them, but I'm gon beat them up when i see them. wanna act all tough cuz I'm 10 ½ hours away. just wait till i visit them.' y/n thought.

this is basically the format for each conversation that happens. y/n going into the group chat to check up on everyone to make sure they're okay, then the twins start ganging up on her until kyoya gets annoyed and tells them to stfu because he's trying to relax and he can't silence his phone. it was funny because when they got back to school, she would pretend like nothing ever happened and continued to flirt with kyoya.

"oh, there's the school!" she pointed out to literally no one. there were a bunch of students flooding in the gate. "gauh LEE.. that's a lot of damn people.”

she continued her slow pace to the school, not really caring about what time she got there, as long as she was before lunch. she was gonna be a bit late, either way, seeing as she had to go to the front office for her schedule.

"well, time to go beast mode." #alpha

she scanned through the sea of students to see a timid-looking boy raising his hand. he was cute, and looked to be a few inches taller than y/n. he had freckles and a nice mop of green hair standing on top of his head. if his face was red, he'd be a human strawberry.

with her black and blonde faux locs swaying behind her, she went to sit in her newly designated seat behind the boy who was now known as yamaguchi. she pulled out a notebook and opened it to a blank page, which was deemed useless seeing that she had already learned what was being taught.

bored, she pulled out her headphones, opening spotify, she pulled up her chill playlist, she clicked shuffle play, smiled, and relaxed a bit seeing the first song that came up. it was ' Big Poppa - the notorious b.i.g'. it was one of her favorite songs to chill to.

"hey, it's time for science... " was what y/n heard as she removed her headphones. it was yams, telling her that it's time for the next subject.

now that she had the slight chance to talk to him, she decided to say what had been on her mind for when she saw him.

"thanks. y'know, you're really cute by the way. you look like someone i'd accidentally bump into in the street and u'd apologize and i'd say "no really its all my fault" then start talking to much cuz i got nervous. that's a compliment by the way."

'...what?' yams was shocked yet confused. he wasn't used to out of the blue compliments like that, or really at all. especially not from girls, and a really attractive one at that. but aside from the initial shock, why the fuck was it so specific and detailed?

"oh! uhm- thank you! you're really pretty yourself!"

"thank you! and thanks for waking me up! wanna be friends?"

"oh, no problem. and sure!! "

'that was odd...' tadashi thought to himself as he turned to face front. "damn, that was quick, yamaguchi" his childhood friend, tsukishima, teased. "im surprised you didn't stutter ur ass off.”

tsukishima kei was a very tall individual. he had short, blonde hair and was more on the thinner, lanky side.

"oh piss off tsuki, ur just mad that i talked to the pretty new girl before you, loser." yams shot back.

"hi yams! hi yams' friend! what are we doing now?" y/n asked. the bell had just rung, and y/n was too lazy to pull out her schedule.

"hi l/n! this is tsukishima! its lunchtime right now so we're heading to the cafeteria!!" he replied with a small smile on his face.

"BOOO!! the cafeteria sucks ass. that's why I always ate in the club room." y/n complained with a big ole thumbs down.

although she was pretty extroverted, she didn't like all the extra loud noise and nosy people. there are some hating ass hoes back at Ouran, but she couldn't give less of a fuck. all they ever did was talk shit because they were jealous of her relationship with the hosts, but she knew it was part of the deal when she became friends with them.

"wah wah, cry me a river. either sit with us or not, jeez." blabbered smart- ass tsuki.

"actually, you're in luck! we and a few others are all going to meet and eat lunch in the gym to go over some stuff for our club, you can join if you want!" yams offered.

she happily accepted the offer and continued to walk along with them to the cafeteria, then to the gym where they would eat. they stopped by the vending machine for y/n, because her thirsty ass drank all her water before lunch, now craving a nice refreshing beverage to wash down the curry she's about to fuck up.

after a few more short minutes of walking, they had finally reached the gym and heard arguing coming from the inside, not knowing that the moment she steps into that gym, she'd be going on a wild trip.
