Showers
Tumblr media
Kyle Rayner x reader
Warning: smut. He’s gone for a mission and comes home for some shower sex
So the apartment was tiny. A postage stamp in the city of New York. But you kinda loved it. Kyle had paint and art supplies everywhere. And you could be a psycho plant mom in peace. Plus when it’s tiny, it’s not near as lonely when you were alone.
And you were trying to not feel lonely now. Kyle had been gone for weeks with some mission across the galaxy. Out there cell phone reception wasn’t a thing so it had been no contact for most of it.
Luckily work never stops. Especially when you’re living in New York City with an artist. Not that you didn’t appreciate Kyle’s art. You loved his art. Sometimes confused by it. A little worried when he painted your left nipple 4 times but artists are eccentric.
You grabbed a towel and moved your speaker in the bathroom. You got undressed and watered all of your bathroom plants as your playlist started. You danced to your current flavor of the week song as you heated up the water. Old pipes took a hot minute to heat up and the little space heater in your bathroom valiantly tried to heat the cool room. You sang along to the song as you climbed in.
You noticed the door to the bathroom open and you turned around violently with a shriek.
“Kyle,” you gasped while sagging with relief. “Good lord you scared me.”
“Sorry,” he said with a rueful grin. Damn his cute little dimples and boyish charm. “Seems I came home at a perfect time.”
“I can’t believe you’re home,” you said hugging him and soaking his shirt in the process.
“Talked them down. No war needed,” he said as you pulled back. Kyle just stared at you openly.
“You gonna just look or you wanna join?” You asked after a few seconds. Kyle quickly tossed his shirt off and into the sink. You grinned as he almost fell over trying to kick his boots and pants off. All of the blood for his brain must have been traveling directly to his cock because he didn’t bother taking his socks off first. He tossed the wet socks in the sink with his shirt.
“I have missed you so much,” Kyle said wrapping his arms around you and rutting his hips against you, pressing his dick against your stomach. You giggled and ran your fingers in his hair.
“You smell like space,” you said with a nose wrinkle.
“Then you’ll have to wash it off,” he suggested. You grabbed the shampoo and squeezed some in your hands to lather in his hair. Kyle leaned towards you to get a better angle. His hands moved up your hips to play with your breasts. You gasped when he gently pinched your nipple. Kyle smirked and you huffed out a laugh before it turned into a moan when he ran his thumb across the bud.
“Handsy,” you commented and he shrugged shamelessly. Kyle was handsome with dark green eyes and thick black eyelashes and tan skin. Years of running around with the green lanterns corps had him fits even if he ate like a poor college student in earth. You pushed him into the water and he quickly rinsed the soap off.
“Am I clean enough?” He asked as you reached behind him. The shower wasn’t exactly big enough for 2 adults to properly shower but you were pros at it.
“No,” you said pouring body soap in your hand. You lathered it across his chest as Kyle hummed in agreement. You slid the soap over his back and down to his ass cheeks before moving back to his stomach. You skipped his hard dick to soap his thighs.
“You skipped something,” he pouted. You grinned at him.
“Hmmm. You can wash your own feet,” you said pretending to not understand what he meant. Kyle grasped your hand on his thigh and started to move it up.
“Oh, you mean this,” you said, wrapping your fingers around his dick and stroking. Kyle planted his hand on the shower wall before bending to kiss your neck and chest. You swiped your hand a little lower to cup his balls and wash them. Kyle closed his eyes. After a minute you moved your hand away and he whined.
“Rinse before it makes you sore,” you told him. Kyle moved as if he was a flash rather than GL to get the soap off. He turned back and pressed against your fully.
“Now can I fuck you? Pretty please,” he said kissing all over your chest. His wet dick rubbed all over your stomach.
“Absolutely,” you said before pulling him by the hair to kiss your mouth. Kyle grabbed one of your leg and wrapped it around your waist before sliding in. It’d been awhile since you’d been together and you exhaled quickly at the stretch.
Kyle started moving his hips as you held on to him. Thank goodness for GL training. His hand held your hip firmly and the other cupped and squeezed a breast. It wasn’t long before he pushed you against the shower wall to fuck faster.
“Fuck- you feel great baby,” he breathed and you nodded. Your hands gripped his back and Kyle couldn’t help but watch as your mouth fell open in a cute little o.
“I’m gonna cum,” you gasped when he started rubbing your clit. Kyle changed nothing but watched as you tensed before cumming around him. He grunted before spilling inside you. You both grinded through your highs together.
“Well that’s a welcome home,” Kyle said breathlessly.
“Don’t get used to it,” you teased. Kyle pouted a little. “No. Next time might be in the bed.”
“Oh, well that’s great too. In fact, what if we move this party in the bed now?” He suggested.
“You’re insatiable,” you teased moving away from him to grab a towel.
“Don’t need that,” Kyle said climbing out and moving towards the bedroom. “You’re going to be naked anyways.”
“Don’t get the bed wet,” you called, tossing him a towel. Kyle quickly rubbed his body with it before jumping in bed.
“The bed isn’t wet… yet,” he winked, sliding his hands behind his head like a model.
“That is so awful,” you said before climbing in his lap. Kyle grinned up at you. “So cheesy. Can’t believe I fuck you,” you said before sinking down on his dick.
“That I’ll agree with,” he replied.

sleepovers ~
ー you invite him to your childhood home for a sleepover.
character/s: bakugo katsuki
genre: crack, fluff
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- invitation -
when you first proposed the idea of a sleepover, katsuki's head ran wild.
being alone with you for a whole night, sharing your room and your bed, and sleeping next to you— just the thought of it made him feel extremely nervous and flustered.
but then you started talking about baking sweets, manicure, and doing your skincare routine together, katsuki immediately calmed down.
more than that, he was a little annoyed 💀 like "oh. 😐"
he said it seemed like you were more excited over the "lame activities" than the person you were doing it with
but he agreed anyway because the way you gushed about it was cute :)) he couldn't say no to you!
- baking -
the first thing you do is baking, except katsuki didn't let you help : ) he says you'll just get in the way or cut yourself while handling the knife.
you didn't mind though because you got to enjoy the sight of katsuki in a cutesy apron that doesn't fit him
katsuki bakes according to your preference. he'll keep shoving a spoon of hot chocolate (but cool enough that it won't burn your tongue ofc) into your mouth until it's sweet enough to your liking :))
"i love you and your food, katsu :) "
"y/n, your taste buds are fucking gross"
" wHAT >:0 "
he continues to grumble on about your taste buds and the cutesy apron you made him wear, while gently wiping off the smudge of chocolate on the corner of your lips with his thumb :)) he just smirks at the reaction he gets from that
- manicure -
walking into your bedroom, katsuki's heart starts racing when he inhaled the familiar scent in your room. he studies your room quietly, cheeks still tinted pink, then he finds you sheepishly grinning.
"... the fuck do you want?"
"katsuki, let me paint your nailsー"
"fuck off. 👺"
and you bicker on for 20 minutes over nail polish.
"come onnn. it's sweet! i'd be holding your hand for half an hour!"
of course, katsuki loves when you hold his hands,, poor man just doesn't want to be made fun of by the bakusquad, 💀 but he also wouldn't want to get rid of your work just to avoid that.
he's also scared his hand might sweat too much and somehow ruin the nail polish.
so katsuki compromises,,
and so you're now watching katsuki sat in front of you, one hand of his gently holding your finger, and the other tightly gripping the brush.
once in a while though, he makes mistakes and silently curses your nail when he sees a little smudge.
"this damn nail... what the fuck... shit, smudged it again."
"you okay?ー "
"I'M FINE." he continues muttering curse words to your nails.
katsuki did an amazing job of painting your nails, but it took him an hour for each hand 💀
"it looks great, katsuki!" your face beams with delight. he feels your smile when you press your lips against his temple.
"oi, you're gonna ruin your damn nailsー "
you continue to pepper his face with light kisses while katsuki harshly scolds you but he doesn't pull away at all,, you don't notice but he actually leans in closer
- pillow fight (failed) -
katsuki had declined all your requests for a pillow fight because,,
this is bakugo katsuki, he's anything but weak, you both know that very well 😔
but you asked one more time, partly as a joke while you're sat on the bed, tidying up the bed.
"maybe you're just scared i'll beat you." you smirk.
you toss a pillow you've just fluffed to katsuki's direction, and it wasn't your intention at all, but it hits him on his back.
and katsuki thought it was a challenge from you 💀
"i'm kidding. hey, what time should we slee-"
katsuki threw the pillow back at you 😟 definitely not with his full strength, but the impact was strong enough for you to fall off the bed
you made a loud squeal and a "THUD" from your butt hitting the floor 😭
and he's panicking like 'did i just fucking kill my s/oー '
katsuki freezes from shock. he waits for you to recover, "o-OI... Y/N!" but you don't respond at all.
he finally moves across the bed to find you still lying on the floor with a 😦 face. he's a little relieved you're more in shock than in pain.
"did i bruise you?! just fucking show meー "
you eventually laugh it off, :') getting up from the floor with katsuki's help.
he angrily insists you show him where you're hurt, but you assure him you're fine.
"katsuki, i... i landed on my butt 🙁"
he freezes in this position 🚶‍♂️ bc he was literally ready to get some ice
he's now silent for a minute like🧍‍♂️and that's when he decides to stop pestering you about it and just apologize 💀
- falling asleep -
katsuki won't sleep until you're sound asleep beside him, but i assume you don't sleep as early as 9 pm so
he'll make you chamomile tea and he'll lower his usually loud voice as much as he can when he talks to you.
by 10 PM, you've completed your skincare routine, and you're ready to go to bed! katsuki applied facemasks with you bc he actually liked the smell of it
katsuki's already half asleep, and you're laying on his chest. his hand lightly runs through your hair, massaging your scalp while he mutters how shitty you are for making him stay up until 10 PM
the sleepier he gets, the more vulnerable katsuki becomes. he won't talk about his feelings but he'll ask about yours.
he still acts nonchalant and even a bit rude while asking, but you can tell his questions are full of concern. he'll genuinely ask if his words/actions have been too mean and hurtful to you.
he even asks again if you're really okay from that pillow he threw earlier :( and if he should really get some ice
you answer him with honesty, and he only tightens his grasp around you the more you speak.
you savor the moment of this soothing softness from katsuki. you feel his heart race when you take his hand and press a light kiss on his palm, whispering affirming words to him.
"goodnight, katsuki."
"oi, if my hand sweats, your face will fucking blow up" he scolds you, still as softly as he can, but he doesn't retract his hand.
he continues to run his hand softly on your head, the sound of his heartbeat making you fall asleep faster.

Too Precious
Pairing: Ransom Drysdale x fem!Reader (OTP)
Words: 1.2k
Summary: Your dog hates the Fourth of July, and Ransom is worried about him.
Warnings: explicit language, extremely, upsettingly soft and fluffy Ransom (like, I honestly hate myself for coming up with this), major fluff
A/N: Welp, this is a hard left turn from the filthy shit I’ve been churning out but it popped in my head and took me less than an hour to write. I don’t know why I’ve made these two so soft, it’s killing me in the best way, so now you all have to suffer with me.
I no longer do taglists, so if you want to stay up to date on all the latest filth, follow my side blog @the-iceni-library and turn on notifications!
Tumblr media
You frowned lightly when Ransom got up for the third time in an hour, making you pause the movie again as he claimed he was going to the bathroom.
He’d been acting weird all night. You weren’t totally sure what was going on with him, the only thing that was different about tonight was that the occasional firework was going off as people prepared for the Fourth. Actually, you realized that every time an explosion occurred he made some excuse to leave the room for a few minutes.
His voice drifted to the living room from the hall, and even though you couldn’t make out what he was saying his tone was warm and reassuring. You let out a soft sigh when you rose to your feet to find out what he was up to, an inkling already niggling your brain as you made your way to the laundry room.
“Hey bubba, it’s ok.” Yep, he was doing exactly what you thought. “Don’t worry, bud, it’s just some noise.”
It had taken you a bit, but you were slowly starting to accept that your dog might like your boyfriend more than you. And the sight of him kneeling next to the big furball while he shook with anxiety was really cementing that fact.
“Ran.” He jolted when you spoke his name, giving you a slightly sheepish look but keeping his hand on Fionn’s head to give him reassuring ear rubs. “Baby, I told you, you’ve gotta act like everything is normal or it just reaffirms that he should be scared.”
“Honey, I don’t think I can do it.” God, both of them were giving you puppy eyes now, it was ridiculous. “He looks so terrified.”
“Sweetie, I promise the meds I gave him help with the stress, and having a safe space to go to is really helpful too.” You’d set up a nice little cubby for him to hide in when the noise got to be too much, and he was curled up in it now. “He’ll be ok if we just let him be, he might even wander out on his own eventually. C’mon, let’s go watch the movie.”
Ransom let you drag him to his feet reluctantly, giving the dog a forlorn look while you led him out of the room. He settled into the couch ok, resting his head against your chest and letting you curl your body around him with a deep sigh. Every time he heard an explosion, though, you could feel him tense up with a little start. Even your fingers running through his hair couldn’t help him relax, his eyes darting furtively to the hallway while he chewed on his lips with worry.
You had to put up with this type of shit for the whole week. Ransom refused to go to sleep until the fireworks had completely stopped and he could do a final check in on the dog to coax him up to your bedroom. As annoying as it was, it was also stupidly adorable. He’d almost refused to go to the massive fireworks display his family went to each year on the Third until you assured him your friend Becca was going to take amazing care of him, and that your old neighborhood barely had any fireworks so there was nothing to worry about.
Then the Fourth hit and the field near your house was apparently declared a designated war zone. Your poor dog was a cowering mess almost as soon as the sun went down, and even with the drugs and all the other anti-anxiety precautions you took, he was still shaking like a leaf in his little cubby. Ransom was almost as big of a mess, pacing around the house and wringing his hands while he tried to keep himself calm for the sake of your sweet pooch.
“Ransom, please come to bed.” It was almost midnight, but there were still occasional explosions happening outside that made him jump. “This happens every year and I promise, he’s always fine.”
“I’m just gonna hang out for a little longer, baby.” He’d finally sat on the couch and was sipping on a beer, but the way his knee was bouncing let you know he was still freaking out a bit. “I’ll be up soon, ok?”
You just sighed deeply as you headed back up the stairs, rubbing a hand over your face and yawning while you made your way to your inviting mattress. Even with the intermittent noise, you quickly submitted to the pull of exhaustion, groaning with disappointment at the empty half of the bed next to you before your eyes drifted closed.
Something woke you up around four hours later, though you weren’t sure what. You huffed when you noticed Ran’s side of the bed was still empty, getting out of the bed and wobbling on your sleepy legs as you determined to find out where exactly your stupidly soft boyfriend had fallen asleep.
He wasn’t on the couch when you got downstairs, and that made you frown. You had been certain he had passed out there while he waited for the fireworks to stop. The search of the guest bedroom also yielded no results, and you considered yelling to find him before something occurred to you.
As soon as you walked into the laundry room your chest started to ache. Your asshole boyfriend had crawled into the cubby you had set up for Fionn, and apparently fallen asleep with the dog sprawled over his chest. This was too precious for you, the man was supposed to let you get up all your pent up meanness, not make it feel like your ovaries were about to explode while your heart fluttered wildly. You knelt beside the cubby and crawled on top of them, pressing your lips to Ransom’s forehead and shaking him softly until his eyes fluttered open.
“Hey baby.” You grinned at him when his eyes met yours, brushing his hair out of his face while he blinked at you in confusion. “What’re you doing in here?”
“I felt bad leaving him by himself, so I thought I’d lay next to him until things calmed down.” He winced when he sat up, the dog wagging his tail when he woke up and saw the two of you there. “Guess I fell asleep.”
“Ok, well let’s all go upstairs to bed, hmm?” You pulled him to his feet and helped him straighten out when he stumbled a little bit, Fionn stretching then following after the two of you as you headed up the stairs. “Don’t think sleeping on the laundry room floor is gonna be the best thing for your neck.”
He just grunted softly and started stripping out of his clothes once you reached the master suite, watchin you and Fionn crawl into the bed with a small smile. You purred happily when he finally joined you, the two of you wrapping around each other while the dog curled up at your feet in a picture of domestic bliss that you couldn’t believe didn’t piss you off more.

“Quick question… what are you doing in the closet?”
yoongi x reader (oc) genre: fluff word count: 3.1K
a/n: Hi lovelies!! This fic takes place pretty early on in Yoongi and Kid/reader’s relationship. They’re very much together but Kid has yet to spend much time with Min Holly (at least alone). And basically, that’s what this fic is- Yoongi leaves Min Holly with Kid for the night and when a storm hits, Yoongi comes back to the apartment to find Kid and Min Holly being very cute. I hope you all enjoy and thanks for reading! :))
Tumblr media
“Are you sure you’re good?” Your boyfriend asked you for the third time in a matter of minutes, his eyes traveling to the small dog exploring your apartment.
Widening your eyes at him, you cocked your head. “Why are you so worried, do you really not trust me with him?”
Sighing, the man held back the grin threatening to form on his lips.
“Don’t laugh right now,” you pointed warningly at him, your empty threat causing him to break, the gummy smile appearing in front of your eyes. “Yoongi,” you whined, dragging his name out as you lightly smacked his chest.
“Of course I trust you,” he chuckled, stepping forward once so he could wrap an arm around your waist, tugging you to him. Pouting at him, accompanied by a glare, Yoongi giggled. “I was just teasing you, Kid,” he admitted, pushing his lips to yours gently, you stubbornly not responding. “Min Holly is in the best hands with you.”
“Damn straight he is,” you bragged, Yoongi scoffing as he planted a kiss to your cheek.
Yoongi’s brother was on vacation, leaving Min Holly purely in Yoongi’s custody for the next week. However, the first day of his brother’s vacation just happened to be on the day of a BTS video shoot that would keep Yoongi busy well into the night. That’s where you came in; dog sitter of the year.
“What time do you think you’ll be done?” You asked, Yoongi humming in thought.
“Probably early morning. Two or three a.m., maybe later,” he told you, you gasping in mostly feigned surprise. Your relationship with the man was still rather new, but you did understand his work caused him to have some pretty late, sleepless nights.
“That’s so late, you’ll be so sleepy,” you cooed through a pout.
“I’ll be ok,” he chuckled, kissing your forehead, his lips lingering on your skin for a moment as you leaned into his touch. “Thank you for helping me out,” he whispered against your brow, his breath fanning across the top of your face. “I just feel bad leaving him alone overnight,” he smiled, your lips following suit in response to the adorable admission.
“It’s no problem, of course I’m happy to watch him,” you assured Yoongi, tilting your head back to look up at him. “You honey boy,” you teased, Yoongi letting out a breathy chuckle.
“I gotta get going, I’ll text you updates,” he assured you as he took a step back, scanning the apartment’s living room in search of the dog. “Where-” he began to ask where the dog went when Holly popped his head up from the sofa, catching both of yours and Yoongi’s gazes. “Oh sure, make yourself right at home,” he chuckled at the dog.
“He’s so cute, I’m gonna love this,” you told Yoongi, looking at him with bright eyes. “Good luck at your shoot, Min,” you began shooing him out of the apartment, Yoongi backing up as you gently shoved against his frame.
“Are you kicking me out?” He teased, his eyes wide, his face full of pretend offense.
“I have plans,” you directed a head nod toward the dog.
Chuckling in amusement at you, his shoulders shaking slightly, Yoongi turned toward the door and began walking across the room, you following just behind him. When he reached the exit, he quickly turned around, his hands finding your face instantly as he pulled your lips to his greedily. Your hands grasped at his forearms as you kissed him back with just as much fervor, humming contently into the meeting.
Pulling his face from yours, you slowly opened your eyes, watching as Yoongi’s eyes fluttered open shortly after. “Don’t miss me too much,” you teased the man playfully, that adorable gummy grin overtaking his features, his cheeks soft and kissable. Had you more time with him, you would have kissed them repeatedly until he whined for you to stop as the fluffy cheeks warmed in a pink shade. But that would have to wait for his return, as he was nearly running late.
“Bye Kid,” he said simply, you smiling as he turned to leave.
“Go be hot on camera,” you shouted out after him, a scoff meeting your ears, though those shoulders shook adorably as the door shut behind him.
Smiling at the front door, you sighed in content. Turning to face the dog who was staring at you intently, you shrugged. “I think we’re alone now,” you sing-songed to the dog, making him cock his head at you. As you made your way back across the room to the dog, excitement in your steps, you beamed at Min Holly. “Are you ready for our slumber party?” You cooed, scratching his little face as soon as you reached him. “Slumber party time?” You continued talking to the dog as he licked your nose affectionately.
Tumblr media
You never were one to check the forecast often, so when the loud crash of thunder sounded outside, waking you from your sleep, you were as shocked as the poor little dog curled up against your side.
Lethargic, your eyes and voice still full of slumber, you reached for the dog and tugged him even closer. “Oh, Holly,” you pouted, looking outside your window to see rain streaking across it as it beat down against the pavement below. “That’s not going to be good for filming,” you mumbled aloud, thinking of your boyfriend and his fellow members.
With another loud rumble outside, the dog whimpered, scurrying off the bed in search of a place of solace. “Aw bubs,” you frowned, sitting up and crawling off the bed to collect him. However, as you approached the dog, he scampered off across the room, heading straight through the open closet door. “Do you want to hide in there?” You asked him, cocking your head at him as Holly stared at you from inside the closet. “Do you feel safe in there?” You asked him, watching as the dog slowly lowered into a laying position.
Spotting one of Yoongi’s hoodies hanging on the hook on the back of the closet door, you quickly made your way across the room and grabbed it, crouching down to situate the clothing around the small dog. “There, that should make you feel safer too,” you pouted, petting the top of Holly’s head gently. Moving your hand to scratch under his chin, however, he put the weight of his head in your palm, a small smile forming on your lips.
“Are you going to let me go back to the bed?” You asked in amusement. “Or am I going to have to join you in here?” You wondered, the dog staring at you with the most adorable sad eyes you’d ever seen. Sighing, you scooped him up in your arms before crawling on your knees to sit inside the closet. Planting yourself on your butt and leaning back against the wall, you crossed your legs before placing the hoodie over your lap, then setting Holly down atop it.
It didn’t take long for the dog to get comfortable, his head squished against your hip as he was lured back to sleep by the sound of the rain outside the apartment. And well, you must have followed him into slumber shortly after, because the next thing you knew, you were being awoken by a gentle sensation against the side of your face and a hushed whisper near your ear.
“Kid,” you heard the voice call out to you softly. Peeling your eyes open reluctantly, you squinted at the man kneeling beside you, his gummy grin being the first sight that entered your awakened consciousness.
“Honey boy,” you yawned, Yoongi chuckling softly at you. Reaching out to him, you brushed his hair off his forehead only to find that the strands were cold and wet. “Your hair is soaked,” you noted, Yoongi nodding as he smiled.
“It’s raining,” he pointed out, you frowning at him.
“That’s right,” you remembered, looking down at the dog in your lap who was awake, but unmoving as he refused to lose his comfort, and probably still too scared to leave the confines of the closet. “You need to change your clothes,” you told Yoongi. “But you can’t have your hoodie because Holly’s using it,” you pointed out, Yoongi scoffing in amusement at you.
“Well good thing your clothes are conveniently located right here,” he nodded to the clothing hanging, simultaneously shooting you an incredulous expression as he drew attention to the fact that he came to your apartment to find you sleeping in his closet, propped up against the wall.
“What’s with the face?” You asked him in response to his expression, playing with him, turning it into a game.
“What the hell are-”
“How was the shoot?” You interrupted, though nonchalantly, purposely not addressing the elephant in the room- or more like the human in the closet.
“It was good,” he nodded a few times, “you know, until the rain hit.”
Sucking air between your teeth, you frowned. “Did it ruin everything?”
“No, luckily we wrapped the outdoor scenes just as it started storming.”
“Oh that’s great, I’m glad it worked out ok,” you grinned.
“Mhmm,” he hummed with a small nod. “I’m stealing a sweatshirt,” he informed you, you instantly humming in thought.
“I’ll allow it.”
“How very generous of you,” he responded playfully, holding back a budding smile. “Hey uh, quick question.”
“What’s that?”
The man shrugged at you, a smile curving on his lips. “What are you doing in the closet?”
“Oh right,” you slowly nodded, the man chuckling at you. “You see, your dog is a bit of a wuss, but he’s cute so it’s ok,” you told him as looked down to the dog who was refusing to lift his head to face the storm.
“Were you scared of the lightning Holly?” Yoongi asked the dog as he pet the sweet frightened pup, a soft grin on his lips that made your own mouth curve into a smile.
“Yeah, he abandoned me on the bed and came in here and I was just going to give him your hoodie to lay with but then he gave me those eyes,” you pouted as Yoongi watched you relay the story in utter fondness for you. “He was torn because he wanted to be with me but also, you know, the storm,” you emphasized, Yoongi’s shoulders shaking in laughter. “So I decided, well, I’ll just sit with him for a bit.”
“How long have you been in here?”
“I don’t know, I fell asleep,” you giggled, a snort leaving the man as he shook his head at you, though adoringly.
“So you really insisted on being the cutest human alive tonight, huh?” He asked you just before directing his gaze to the dog. “Holly, what’s up bud, don’t you think you’re milking this a bit?”
With both of you looking down at the pup, you watched as Yoongi gently scratched Holly’s head. “He’s just too cute, I didn’t have the heart to leave him in here alone,” you pouted, glancing up to find your boyfriend’s gaze already directed to you.
Yoongi didn’t speak, rather, his orbs simply scanned your features, appreciating the sight. He slowly leaned toward you, his lips easily finding yours, meeting you in a sweet kiss. The meeting didn’t last long, but it was soft and felt like home.
“You’re a sweetheart, Kid,” he complimented as he separated from you, just before he stood. Suddenly the man stripped himself of his slightly wet top before turning his attention to your clothing.
Staring up at him, appreciating his bare upper body, you watched as his hands grabbed an oversized lavender-colored sweatshirt. Pulling it off the hanger quickly, he had it situated over his body within seconds. Looking down at you, he met your gaze, smirking at your engrossed expression.
“You’re pretty in lavender,” you whispered to him, a bashful grin overtaking his face.
Leaning down, he kissed your forehead, his lips lingering once again. “Alright little guy,” he suddenly addressed Holly as he pulled away from you. “You gotta let my girlfriend out of the closet,” he told the dog, patting his thighs to try to coax his dog to him, only for the dog to spite him by not even flinching toward his owner.
“Honey boy, he’s still scared,” you pouted, Yoongi’s eyes shifting from Holly to you. Thinking for a moment, he sighed, turning his back on you and heading toward the bed. You watched him carefully, following his every move as he pulled the comforter off the mattress and grabbed two pillows.
The man avoided your eye contact as he waddled back to the closet, a frown etched in his features though you knew he wasn’t actually upset by anything. It was obvious he found this whole situation quite adorable.
Appearing in front of you, he stepped over your body, as well as Min Holly, and dropped the blanket and pillows onto the floor with a thud. Next, he was pulling his jeans off his frame, tossing them onto the bedroom floor outside the closet, his eyes following them as they descended to the floor, your eyes glued to his now bare limbs. You actually couldn’t see the upper majority of his legs due to the oversized material of the sweatshirt, which made him look rather cute.
“You’re very hot,” you complimented with a smirk, the man scoffing as he picked up the comforter before nodding to the dog that was looking up at him curiously.
“Lift him so I can cover you with this,” he told you, you smirking as you pulled Holly from your lap to your chest, allowing Yoongi to tuck you in.
“You’re being really cute,” you smiled, Yoongi holding back a grin of his own as he simply hummed. “These are honey boy antics, sir.”
“Yeah, yeah, so I’m soft for you and my dog, so what,” he dismissed nonchalantly, all while your smile grew larger, your heart racing with affection for the man. When Yoongi lowered himself to take the spot next to you, he lifted a pillow, silently staring at you as he waited for you to sit up so he could put the pillow underneath your head. Fluffing it slightly, he nodded once with a small close-mouthed smile before grabbing his own pillow and doing the same thing again.
“Thank you, Yoongi,” you told him sincerely as you rested back against the pillow, the cushion feeling nice and relieving on your slightly strained neck. Turns out closets aren’t really the most comfortable sleeping space.
“Thanks for taking care of my dog,” he replied with that same adorable grin, which accentuated the plushness of his cheeks. As Holly moved to lay between the both of you, you leaned toward your boyfriend, holding his face in place so you could press a series of smooches to his plush cheek. Finally.
Whining slightly at your incessant affection, Yoongi squirmed away from you, only to turn and face you and press his lips to yours in a messy and playful meeting. Laughing into the kiss, Yoongi couldn’t help but smile as well, a light chuckle leaving those pretty lips as he pulled away from you.
“Go back to sleep,” he told you, his face full of fond adoration as he settled into his spot, pulling the comforter up as his hand found the dog. Yoongi pet Holly’s face as the dog leaned into the touch. “You too,” he directed to the dog in a playful demand. “I don’t know what your end game is here, bud. Are you trying to steal my girl?” he questioned the furry pal, you giggling at you nuzzled your face against the pillow, reaching out to drape your arm overtop Yoongi’s body. “You can’t have her,” Yoongi whispered, a smile stretching across your face. “I won’t let you.”
“He’s a charmer,” you mumbled through a yawn, your sleepiness hitting you suddenly.
“So am I,” Yoongi countered, rolling onto his side so he faced you. As your eyes fluttered shut, sleep overtaking you quickly, the man watched you lovingly. “I’m hot, remember.”
“That’s true,” you agreed sleepily. “The hottest.”
Yoongi continued to watch as your body became more relaxed underneath the warmth of the comforter; the warmth of having Yoongi next to you, and of course, Min Holly. Though his own eyes were becoming heavy, he kept them open to appreciate the way your face relaxed, your lips becoming pouted as your exhales slipped between them in slowed breaths.
“Tell me one thing,” you suddenly spoke up, your voice surprising Yoongi out of his trance.
“Hm,” he hummed for you to continue, a soft smile planted on his mouth.
“Were you hot on camera?” You asked him, referring to his video shoot.
A silent chuckle left the man, his hand leaving Min Holly, and finding your own hand that rested between your bodies. Wrapping his fingers around your own, he stared at your hands connected; your skin was warm against his, Yoongi sighing contently.
“I was hot on camera,” he confirmed, a smile just barely tugging on your lips that made him chuckle lightly in response.
“That’s my honey boy,” you whispered, burying yourself further into the pillow.” There was a pause, and Yoongi was about to shut his own eyes and allow himself to be dragged into dreamland. However, you spoke once again, the man sighing as he prepared to tell you to go to sleep, but your words kept him quiet; surprise and excitement coursing through his every limb as soon as the words met his ears. “I’m falling for you,” you admitted in your nearly unconscious state.
“Falling for me?” He questioned, his voice barely audible as a bashful smile curved on his lips, those kissable cheeks tinting pink. You would have cooed at the sight had your eyes been open.
He knew you were unaware of your confession, but he hoped it was as genuine as he believed it to be. Yoongi wouldn’t bring up the confession; no teasing the next day; no pressure for elaboration at a later date. But with the warmth that filled his frame as he watched you breathe deeply, finally having given in to your tiredness, he was certain that he felt the same way.
You were falling for him. And he had already fallen in love with you.
Yoongi’s eyes slowly left your face, traveling down to find the dog staring up at him.
“Hear that?” He whispered to his dog, a gummy smile planted on his face as his eyes shined with the brightness of new love. “She’s falling for me.”

red cheeks and sunsets
Pairing: George Weasley x reader
Word count: 1.8k
Summary: George has been pining over Y/N for far too long and Fred decides to give his twin a little push.
A/N: I love reading about Georgie so I thought I’d get back into writing and write a really fluffy oneshot about my fav. I hope you like it, I’m a bit rusty but if you wanna request anything please do :)) love you all
Tumblr media
“Seriously George, do you realise how creepy you’re being right now. You’ve been staring at the poor gal for 10 minutes.” Fred’s voice brings George out of his trance, okay it might have been the carrot Fred threw which hit George right in the forehead.
“I’m not staring” George mumbles, tearing his eyes away from Y/N reluctantly and at his dinner.
“No of course you’re not” the other twin states with an eye roll.
George can’t help it you see; the staring, the daydreaming, the embarrassing stuttering and nerves he feels whenever she is near or even in the same room as him. The redhead has had an immense crush on Y/N L/N for a year, too scared to say or do anything about it. No that he hasn’t tried to let her know about his feelings but each time he’s stood in front of her he is unable to speak and forgets everything prior to that moment, it’s a wonder he hasn’t passed out during his attempts. As soon as George looks into her eyes, those breath-taking, incredible eyes, nothing else registers in his brain. How can one be expected to think when looking as something so beautiful?
So, George decides it is easier to just admire from afar, to try and salvage whatever is left of his ego. He tells himself he’s fine with Y/N not knowing, he’s okay with sending shy smiles her way and imagining how it would feel to wrap his arms around the girl and kiss those perfect lips. He doesn’t think his heart could take the rejecting because at least this way he can pretend Y/N likes him back.
Fred groans, “mate just tell her” George interrupts him with a laugh. “No I’m serious, just walk up to her and say ‘Y/N I like you’, 4 words. That’s it.”
George stares down at his plate pushing food around with his fork and sighs “Fred, it’s not like I haven’t tried. I end up sounding like a stuttering idiot cos I can’t get the words out; I can’t get any words out. Plus, there’s no way she likes me back, I mean look at her” George’s eyes find their way back to Y/N, who is sitting with her friends, laughing “why in the world would she like someone like me, she’s stunning”
“Yeah you’re right, she’s a straight 10 and you’re a 6 at best” Fred answers with a chuckle.
George gives his twin a little shove with his shoulder, “thanks man, I appreciate the support.”
~~~
Fred has had enough of George’s pining; he can’t seem to get much out of George if Y/N is around. It’s like George gets tunnel vision and all he sees is Y/N and everything else around him fades away. Fred does think its sweet seeing how infatuated his twin is with the girl, he just wishes George would muster up the courage to tell Y/N how he feels. Maybe then George will be able help with the planning of some new pranks.
Fred and George are walking down the hall back to the common room one night when a familiar H/C haired girl turns the corner and walks their way.
George almost trips when he sees her but Fred nudges him upright.
“Hey boys,” Y/N smiles at them, eyes landing on George “hey George.”
Fred smirks, hearing that George got a second greeting, hoping he’ll at least say something.
Y/N is still staring at George hoping for a reply, George doesn’t seem to say much around her. She isn’t sure why. Yeah George is the more ‘quieter’ one of the duo but he still has an outgoing and loud personality. A few times Y/N has caught herself admiring George and a smile would always creep onto her face seeing him joking and laughing with his friends.
“H-hey” George all but whispers back, his cheeks feel like they are on fire and that his whole body might combust under Y/N’s gaze.
Fred wraps his lanky arm around George’s shoulder “Hello dear Y/N, you look very beautiful this fine afternoon, don’t you think Georgie?”
George almost chokes at Fred’s comment “Er- I guess so, I mean-um, y-yeah you do.”
If George wasn’t staring at the floor silently hoping a hole would appear and swallow him up, he might have seen Y/N’s face turn a light tint of pink.
“Oh, well thank you” Y/N giggles, “I guess I should get going. It was nice to see you both, bye George” Y/N waves and continues down the hall with a small skip in her step.
As soon as Y/N is around the corner, George groans into his hands, why is it so difficult for him to form sentences around her.
Fred just laughs, “you truly have it bad bud, but don’t worry, Freddie is here to help.”
George just groans louder; he isn’t sure Fred will be much help.
~~~
George finds himself running up to the astronomy tower later that week, Fred had left a note on his pillow saying to meet him ASAP so they can set up for a prank, it sounded pretty urgent, the note stated if he was even a minute late Fred would spill his secrets to Y/N. So, here George was racing through the halls to try and make it there on time, everyone was at dinner, so the halls were pretty empty which worked in George’s favour. Out of breath, George finally makes it to the astronomy tower stairs, taking 2 steps at a time he jogs up.
“Bloody hell Fred, I swear you just wanna make me-“Georges words disappear into the air as he reaches the top of the stairs.
Y/N is leaning against the railing staring out at the sunset, she turns her head to face George.
“Sorry to disappoint Georgie, but I’m not Fred” she giggles.
Godric, George thinks her giggle is the most magical sound in the world, he’d do anything to hear it again.
“S’ okay…” George trails off, he’s going to kill Fred later.
They stand in silence for a few moments, “Isn’t the sky so beautiful tonight?” Y/N breathes turning to look at the orange painted sky.
George can’t help but stare at this absolute goddess in front of him, the fiery sunset glows against Y/N’s face, he takes a small step closer to her hoping to memorise the way the sun beams against her soft skin. He wonders what it would feel like to caress her cheek, surely all his troubles would wash away the moment he has her delicate face in his hands. He glances down at her lips, he wishes he could just grab her face and kiss her right here, somehow try and show her how much she means to him.
George doesn’t realise words have left his mouth until it’s too late “Merlin, you are beautiful.” Georges eyes widen, did he actually just say that?
Y/N, surprised, turns to face him and it’s like a faucet in his brain has been turned on and he can’t stop the words coming out of his mouth, everything he’s ever wanted to say to Y/N is pouring out before he can control himself.
“S-sorry, I didn’t mean to say that. Not that its not true! Because it is, you’re beautiful, you’re amazing actually. The most beautiful person I’ve ever seen. So beautiful in fact, you make me forget how to breath actually. Whenever I’m around you, I get all nervous and don’t know what to say. Like how do you tell the most beautiful girl in the world that you’ve had a crush on them for a year” George takes a breath, Y/N doesn’t say anything, not that she really had time to, George took her millisecond of silence as rejection and kept speaking. “Merlin, I can’t believe I just said that. It’s okay that you don’t feel the same way, I don’t blame you. I’m so sorry, let’s just forget-“
George doesn’t get to finish the end of that sentence, Y/N had grabbed his face and lightly pressed their lips together.
Startled, George doesn’t know what to do, his brain is going wild he thinks he might have a head attack with how fast his heart is beating, surely this is a dream. But when Y/N’s arms snake around his neck it pulls him back to reality. George moves his hands to Y/N’s hips and deepens the kiss.
Y/N tastes of a mixture of pure heaven and cotton candy, George thinks he’s floating away when he feels Y/N play with his hair at the base of his neck, a soft moan escaping from his mouth.
They eventually pull apart and George keeps his eyes closed, worried if he opens them, he’ll find that he’s actually in his bed and this was just an insanely good dream.
“Georgie, open your eyes” Y/N’s hands are back on George’s cheeks.
George slowly opens his eyes and finds his favourite pair staring back at him.
“Wow” is all he manages.
Y/N just giggles, “If you can’t tell, I like you too. Like a lot. Fred actually told me to meet you here, he said you had something important to tell me. I’m glad you finally said something.”
“Me too because I’d really like to kiss you again” Y/N laughs and presses her lips to Georges sweetly.
George smiles, finally gaining the confidence to say a sentence he never thought he’d be able to form around Y/N. “Y/N do you think maybe- I mean would you maybe want to be my girlfriend?”
“Of course, George Weasley, I’d love to” Y/N replies.
“FINALLY!” a voice erupts from the stairs.
“What the hell?” George questions as he turns around to try and find the culprit, his hand not leaving Y/N’s waist. “Fred?”
Fred emerges from the stairs with a goofy grin on his face.
“Have you been hiding there the whole time? Go away you perv!” George chuckles, reaching for his wand.
“Alright, no need for that” Fred holds his hands up in defence “I just needed to make sure my plan worked and it looks like it did so you can thank me later. Maybe at your wedding.” Fred winks.
“Go away!” George shouts. “I’ll hex you if I have to’
“Okay I’m going, I’m going. No funny business up here though” Fred quickly adds before running down the stairs, narrowly avoiding the jinx George sent his way.
“I’m so sorry about him” George says looking back at Y/N.
Y/N smiles “it’s okay, I guess without him I wouldn’t be able to kiss you anytime I want now.”
The redhead laughs, “yeah, I guess I am grateful for that but not that I’m ever going to tell him” George leans down and kisses Y/N once more, unable to control the smile breaking onto his face.
He finally got the girl, his girl.

*rubs clown hands together* yall really want part 3? >:3 its angsty but what else am I know for? XD
in this one Tang gets a chance to be a protective dad again
PART 1 PART 2
Prompt List
I'm Sorry Bud
Rating: G
Wukong wasn't worried. He was the incredibly handsome sage equal to heaven and super immortal. He had no reason to worry Except….maybe he was incredibly worried. No matter how much he tried, his stomach snapped and curled unhappily every time he even thought about MK.
He got a phone call.
Not from MK but from his dad Pigsy.
He didn't even get a word out before hellfire had rained down on him. Call him old school but there were definitely some new curse words that he had never heard before that spewed out of the hog's mouth.
He was flayed verbally so viscously he shuddered under the swearing and even looked over his shoulder to make sure the pigman did not spontaneously spawn behind him.
The call ended with Pigsy talking about taking MK to the hospital and it was HIS fault.
They hung up after that and Wukong hasn't stopped pacing for the past five minutes. MK was sick, running a deadly fever, and in the hospital because of it.
Because of him...
He bites his thumb, his tail lashing wildly behind him, while he continues to dig a trench with his feet.
"Fuck it."
He leaps upward, summoning his nimbus, and speeds off into the sky to the general Hospital. He's there for only a few minutes but it feels like forever. He didn't even wait for his nimbus to stop before he's timing off to the front doors.
He probably scares the poor lady behind the desk with how he practically slammed into it with how fast he was rushing. He asked for MK which got him nothing till he realized he needed to probably give them his full real name. After saying Qi Xiaotian Sanzang they directed him to a room.
He rushes to room 607 but before he can even get a hand in the door he's grabbed roughly by the shoulder.
"I wouldn't go in there if I were you…"
Wukong turned around to see MK's other dad, Tang, he's holding a few water bottles under his arm and a can of instant coffee. Looks like they were going to settle on for the night at MKs side, and Tang had been sent out on the errand the get them some drinks.
"Pigsy is still in there, and he's not too keen on seeing your face."
They scan the king up and down with passive eyes that hold a twinge of resentment that makes the fur on the back of his neck bristle defensively.
"I just want to see him…..make sure he's okay." He pleads and the passive gaze melts a little bit sympathetically.
"Please," Wukong begs again, even going so far as to duck his head submissively to the mortal. He just wanted to make sure MK was okay. It was his fault after all that they were sick. He should have never let them egg him on into training in the rain.
Tang looks him over again, studying him with a keen eye. He lets out a sigh eventually and walks forward.
"Okay, but only because MK asked about you once. let me get Pigsy out of the room first."
Wukogn jerks his head upward with surprise. He was actually going to let him see MK?
"Thank you."
"Don't thank me yet. I might not convince him to leave MK's side, wait here and disguise yourself or something." Tang gives him a little head nod before entering the room and shutting the door. Wukong does as requested and transforms into a beatle to cling to the wall.
A few minutes pass and at first, the monkey thinks that Tang couldn't do it and Pigsy wouldn't leave MK's side. But the door opens and the pig demon exits with a grumble about finding a nurse or doctor. Wukong barely has time to fly between the cracks before the door is shut again. He transforms back, landing on his feet.
MK is there.
He looks awful.
The poor boy is laying in a hospital bed, iv hooked up to him to administer fluids and a cooling compress to his forehead. Wukong approaches the bed reverently feeling his heart shatter into a million pieces.
"When they took his temp initially he was running a 104-degree fever," Tang explains walking up beside him and grabbing MK's limp hand.
"He was delirious, crying and shouting Something about being a disappointment before he passed out." They finish, the man rubbing MK's knuckles tenderly. Wukong takes the other side of the bed. And knees there to look at them up close.
"It's your fault you know."
It's like a full-body slam into a mountain. The words were delivered without mercy. He didn't even look at Tang and instead swallowed stiffly.
"You show up out of nowhere, pick MK without any reason that I can understand, and then you make him fill these impossibly big shoes!?" Tang's fist tightens at his side, face growing red slowly and Wukong isn't sure if he prefers this simmering rage of the explosive rage of Pigsy.
"You know how hard it was to build MK back up when we adopted him officially??? He was just a scared timid boy, no confidence! We had to HELP him get where he is now. And then you come along and just-" Tang throws his hands up in the air in frustration "-ruin that in a couple of weeks" he finishes with a growl. Wukogn shrinks further, this feels an awful like when he would get scolded like his master for doing something wrong and he didn't even have a defense for it. All of it was true. He did pick MK for little reason other than he likes the kid's spunk and good heart.
And he was making them fill big shoes. And maybe the big shoes were just too hard for MK to walk in, and maybe he noticed that but didn't help him because he assumed they would get better with time.
"I'm sorry…." He whispers out burying his face into the sheets of MK's bed. He whimpers feeling the guild nash and bites at the lining of his stomach.
"It's your fault...and I don't know if I want ML training with you anymore…."
It was all his fault.
His fault.
His fault.
"Baba...Don't...yell at monkey king."
His head jerks up to find that MK was conscious now, a hand reaches for his head and scratches the top of it like he's a monkey.
"MK…" Tang starts and is cut off by MK who shakes his head.
"Not his fault….he's so lonely." The by comments driving a knife between Monkey King's ribs and stabbing his heart. Those fingers continue to scratch the top of his head deliriously.
"You need to rest, bud. If you don't rest you won't get better." He instructs holding back something in his throat that he realizes is a pur.
"Mmmmkay. Do I look okay?" They asked and Wukong chuckled at the odd question.
"You look fine. Just rest please." He pleads and MK nods his head drearily before drifting back to sleep. Tang and he look at each other, bewildered by the experience. Tang studies him for a moment, eyes drifting over his form at MK's side with the boy's fingers still intertwined with the fur on the top of his head.
Tang must find what he's looking for because his shoulders relax slightly
"You may continue to train MK…." He holds up a finger. "On the condition that you are open and honest with him AND us about his training." He instructs and Wukong nods
"You also cut back to every other evening instead of every night after work. You're going to break him and wear him out. If in a week I decide that's still too much it gets cut back again. Understand?" Tang looks expectantly to Wukong who nods his head up and down quickly. These rules were more than fair, he could do that! Hell, he would tell MK himself of these new rules if he needed to.
The door clicks
"Tang the doctor said those vital signs were normal right now. I TOLD you this" Pigsy enters the room and looks at the display before him. Tang is sitting by MK's side, holding his hand and the window opens slightly.
"Why did you open the window?"
"I-it was a bit stuffy in here" Tang admits looking to where Wukong was just a few seconds ago and then to the window. He must have escaped quickly when he heard Pigsy enter the room. In the blink of an eye, he was gone.
Pigsy grumbles something and walks to the window and shuts it. Then he trudges over to his lover's wide and buries his face into it.
"He's gonna be okay…." Tang reassures and the pig demon who lets put a huff through his snout into their chest. Tang kisses the top of Pigsy's head affectionately and that causes them to melt on his hold.
They all were going to be okay.

In Hiding Part 4/?
Hey loves! Sorry it took so long for me to write part 4, I’ve had school and band. I like this chapter, so I hope you do too!
Word count: 1566
Warnings: Really un graphic violence, mentions of undiagnosed PTSD, OCD, and depression, and my inability to write good endings
Tumblr media
The last 30 minutes on the Quinjet were pure hell. Tony kept trying to grill you, and you didn’t respond, which motivated him to ask even more questions.
Finally, he rolled his eyes and asked, “Where are your parents?”
Hundreds of locked-away memories flooded your mind. Your parents had sold you to HYDRA at age 5. You didn't know much about your parents or their identities.
After he asked about your parents, you broke eye contact and looked anywhere but into someone's eyes.
“I see.” Tony scowled but continued asking more questions, but you weren't in the mood, even more now than before.
You eventually drifted off into a daydream as Tony’s questions slurred together. You dreamt about what your life could've been if you had parents and weren't mutant. You could still have parents; you wouldn't have sustained all of that torture at HYDRA, and you would've gotten to go to school!
School, something many take for granted. You didn't have any higher education, and being 15 and more innovative and 99.99% of the world, it was a moot point. Still, being among everyday people, having friends, and discovering your passions, would be amazing.
Snaps in your face brought you back, courtesy of Tony.
“Kid. Kid! Hello?” He snapped in your face.
You had returned to Earth and- hey, look at that! Tony is within head butting distance. Maybe it'd get him to shut up, or would Loki attack again? He was staring at you from the back of the jet, unmoving, eyes trying to predict your following movements.
“KID!” Tony shouted.
You'd had enough of hearing him in your face, so you turned back to him, made eye contact, and-
“Don’t do that, girl.” Loki snarled from his seat.
Tony turned to him and cocked his head.
“She was going to headbutt you, obviously. Don't get within 5 feet of her.”
Tony thanked him quietly and sat in his seat, glaring at you. You made eye contact with him once more, and you smirked.
The rest of the ride was quiet, save for a few tiny pockets of conversation and Tony coming up with more dumb questions, which you elected to ignore.
——————————
You had finally reached the compound, and all you could think about was your impending doom.
Steve picked you up again, as your restraints render you immobile. You fell limp in his arms, head dangling. You were so tired and so worried.
Steve carried you into the compound and to a room, or rather, a cell. The space was empty except for a cot in the corner and a sink. The wall next to the door sported a one-way mirror.
“You’ll stay in here; Stark wants to ask you more questions; he’ll be in here soon.” He put you down on the floor, and you looked up to him. He uncuffed you and swiftly ran out in fear of you trying to bolt again.
Little did you know, he and many of the other team members were staring at you from the other side of the glass, observing you in attempts to understand how you worked and your erotic behavior.
The room was made of something that made you powerless, and the walls were a blinding white. There weren’t any windows, and a single notepad and pencil lay on the bed.
You sat in the center of the room for 5 minutes, staying stationary. Once more, scenarios of what the Avengers might do to you crowded your mind. Tears came again, and you sobbed quietly. Everything hurt, and you were once again reminded that you'd been awake for almost 24 hours. So you carefully laid yourself out on the ground, being mindful of your bruises, and cried there.
—————Avengers POV—————
“So- uh- what do we do now?” Steve pointed to you, still crying on the floor.
“Poor thing,” Wanda remarked, frowning.
“Poor thing? She may be a child, but she's evil!” Tony scoffed.
“She could be a beneficial asset to the team,” Nat suggested.
“I don’t trust her.” Tony crossed his arms and looked back to your shaking figure.
“Tony, I kinda volunteered to go talk to her.” Steve turns back to him. “She's got a notepad, and if she doesn’t open up, we’ll send someone else in.”
“Why the hell did you volunteer me? Kid hates me; it's obvious.”
“Just go see if you can get anything out of her, Tony,” Natasha ordered.
“Fine.” He rolled his eyes, stepping into your cell.
—————Your POV—————
Tony Stark stepped into your cell, the door shut with a loud ‘thud.’ His intentions were unclear, so you backed into a corner. He crouched in front of you and looked into your puffy, red eyes.
Now that the two of you weren't fighting, he noticed how truly young you were; you still had that childlike glimmer in your bright blue eyes. You had been turned into a villain, but it wasn’t your fault.
“Hey, kid.”
You didn’t respond, just blinked. He grabbed the notepad and pencil on the bed.
“Since we haven’t heard you speak, we put this here for you to write on. Do you know how to write?”
Of course, you knew how to write. You stared at Stark, annoyed that he thought you couldn’t write, and slowly nodded your head.
He handed you the notepad and pencil and asked your name, which he knew. He was trying to create a sense of normalcy for you.
“(Y/N)” You wrote.
“You have great handwriting and a beautiful name (Y/N).” He said, reaching for your hand.
You winced when Tony touched you and quickly brushed him off.
“Understood.” Tony moved back and asked you, “Did HYDRA give you your powers?”
“I don’t think so. I was young. I don’t know.” You wrote. You did know, however. You were born with powers, and that’s why your parents sold you. You were too much to handle, and many people were willing to pay hefty prices for you.
You weren’t fond of visiting HYDRA memories, let alone talking about them. Memories of being tortured plagued your dreams every night, and it seems that HYDRA had found a way to torture you even after you escaped.
Often loud noises would bring back memories, as would needles and human contact.
“I want my clothes back.” You wrote. You thought they might bring some semblance of home, a piece of you to hold, and you’d be able to smell your apartment and yourself.
Tony nodded. “I’ll see what I can do. Do you need anything else?”
You shook your head and wrote, “Please leave now. And don’t stare at me from the window. It's creepy.”
Tony chuckled. “Ok, Banner is going to come to check on you at some point.”
You nodded and waved your hand towards the door, signaling him to leave.
Tony slowly got up, and you stared silently as he left the cell. Before he shut the door, he looked back to you, stationary on the floor, staring up at him. Once he was gone, you stared into the mirror, not at yourself but any unsuspecting souls behind it.
Once you thought the sufficient amount of staring was reached, you got up and went to the bed at the far corner of your cell. It was perpendicular to the door, so you could see if anyone entered and be ready to defend yourself.
–—————————
It must've been an hour or so until Banner walked into your cell. You jumped up from the bed and pushed yourself into a corner. He frowned and set down what he was carrying, which was a tray of food and your clothing.
He stepped away from said items, and you scrambled to grab them, scared he’d take them back. You backed yourself into your corner once more, shielding yourself with your clothing.
“Hey, (Y/N). Remember me?”
You scowled. You remembered him, and you weren't very fond of the memories you shared with him.
You didn't move, eyes still trained on him. He kneeled about 5 feet away from you, not wanting to startle you.
His voice was low and soft when he asked, “Can I come closer?”
You stared, not knowing how to answer. Would Bruce hurt you again? Could you trust him? It didn’t look like he was holding anything more to hurt you. You allowed yourself to creep closer, slowly inching towards him.
“See, baby steps.” He looked towards the window. You assumed some people were still watching the two of you.
You let yourself come closer, until you were about a foot away from him.
“Can I touch your hand?” He reached out and touched you, but you winced and pulled your hand away. You still didn’t trust him, you would need a whole lot more prof before letting him, or anyone for that matter, touch you.
“Ok, I’m going to go now, get some sleep.” He stood and turned away from you, heading to the exit.
He stepped out, and turned off the lights in your room. It was almost pitch black, except for a dim light coming through the window. You climbed into the bed, and stared up at the ceiling. You were exhausted, but sleep refused to come.
It must have been 45 minutes when you finally drifted off to a restless sleep. You dreamt about what would meet you in the morning.

Tumblr media
The time has come once again
The Bloodbath
Tumblr media
“I’m simply one hell of a butler” says Sebastian as he starts cleaning as usual
Tumblr media
Okay so Agni’s taking no prisoners
Tumblr media
Work Nerd, Science Nerd, and Jock Nerd team up to form the Nerd Trifecta
Tumblr media
Team One Brain Cell joins up with Phipps, who is quite possibly their only chance for survival
Tumblr media
Ran-Mao remembers how Harcourt beat everyone in the unfortunately deleted round and said “Not in my backyard”
So far, everyone else has simply run away unscathed or grabbed a weapon they won’t use because the game doesn’t record weapons. Rip Tanaka
Day 1
Tumblr media
Ran-Mao bringing the canon energy by adding a second weapon to her arsenal
Tumblr media
Phipps somehow always turns into Team Dad during these, so I’m glad to see he’s finding time for his favorite hobbies
Tumblr media
Undertaker up to his usual Sneaky Antics
Tumblr media
It hasn’t even been twelve hours yet. Kind of impressive honestly
Tumblr media
Considering Harcourt lost his mace, I’ll just assume the attack Grell “escaped” from was the vicious stabbing of his trim little schoolboy fingernails
Tumblr media
Bad vibes
Tumblr media
It appears that Lau also brought his canon game
Tumblr media
Sebastian in the most recent chapters be like
Tumblr media
I’ve actually never had this event come up before and it has to happen between two of the more innocent characters in the series;;;; god Lizzie you deserve better even in the Hunger Games Simulator
Tumblr media
Where’s a Safety Nerd when you need one
Tumblr media
What’s better than this? Guys bein dudes
Tumblr media
This is probably what happened after Ciel left Weston

Tumblr media
Thought about Ciel dying too hard. Got an infection

Aww dad :( Hope you caught some fish tho
Tumblr media
Looks like Harcourt won’t be winning this one, gang

I stg the hunger games simulator is misogynist because the ladies always DIE /j
Tumblr media
Ran-Mao is hopefully here to prove the previous statement wrong
Other events:
Bard gets a hatchet
Undertaker also passes out from exhaustion
R!Ciel goes to sleep in a tree
Day 2
Tumblr media
Oh you five are SO going in my burn book for this. It’s what Grell would’ve wanted
Tumblr media
Ahaha just like in the real manga... right guys (;
Tumblr media
Idk about you but I’m rooting for her
Tumblr media
I don’t think the simulator could’ve picked four people who were less likely to team up than this
Tumblr media
I would too if I saw my best friend was palling around with an opium dealer, a grim reaper with a lawn mower, and another grim reaper that the first grim reaper doesn’t like
Other events:
Othello chases Wolfram
That’s the only other event actually
That means today we lost O!Ciel, Mey-Rin, Harcourt, and Grell. ffs, I hope Ran-Mao kills all of you
Night 2
Tumblr media
I’ve missed you, rare pair simulator
Tumblr media
The “unknown sponsor” was Undertaker and the “fresh food” was O!Ciel

Undertaker gazes at space
Ronald becomes Lost Ronald
Soma passes out
Bard gets some water
Day 3
Tumblr media
Damn Agni who haven’t you flirted with
Tumblr media
Finny sees that Bard has water and thinks Bard cooked it himself, so he wants no part of that (might be burnt)
Tumblr media
What did he even have that was worth stealing? A fish?
Tumblr media
Well I can tell you who isn’t creating that smoke: Lau
Tumblr media
“What’s worse than two young masters? No young masters. Now get over here and make a contract”
Tumblr media
Everything about this sentence is a fever dream
Other events:
Undertaker decides he wants a slingy shot too
Edward chases Dad I mean Phipps
Othello gets some ouchies from picking berries
Night 3
Tumblr media
When your young master dies, you just get an infection apparently
Tumblr media
damn Finny’s playing hardball
Tumblr media
I don’t think anything bad has actually happened to Bard yet. It’s just been a grand frolic the whole time
Tumblr media
I barely remember reading the first Hunger Games but Ran-Mao’s the Foxface of this journey: she deserves to win and I just know she’ll die in the stupidest way possible
Tumblr media
Sebastian’s like a cat that can’t reach the bird it wants to attack, so it attacks the nearest other thing instead. Poor Dad
Tumblr media
Two white-haired anime boys and a not-white-haired anime boy talk about who will die tomorrow. Anime doesn’t exist yet so the white-haired anime boys don’t know their hair color automatically spells their doom
Other events:
Edward starts a fire, which means he’s capable of smoking opium
Ronald gets some medical supplies
Othello gets a hatchet
R!Ciel thinks about winning
Lau gets an entire explosive, but he won’t be able to light it, so no it’s no big deal
Day 4
Tumblr media
In Soviet Hunger Games, white-haired anime boy kills you
Tumblr media
But why murder someone when you could just mess with them
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Other events:
Grey scares Bard
Finny goes hunting
Night 4
Tumblr media
Have you four even killed anyone yet
Tumblr media
The list of “people who didn’t start the manor fire and also don’t smoke opium” now consists of Lau and R!Ciel
Tumblr media
The mood is too light now. Someone needs to die and it better not be Ran-Mao
Tumblr media
At last, Father Phipps has chosen his son for this round
Tumblr media
Agni gushes about all the hot guys he’s simultaneously in love with, giving Ran-Mao a clearer idea of who’s still alive
Day 5
Tumblr media
Girl, it’s about time, go claim some trophies
Tumblr media
Finny’s easily got the longest kill streak and it’s a little unnerving
Tumblr media
Father Phipps finds a new secret fishing hole
Tumblr media
Othello doesn’t
Tumblr media
Lau continues to put in all the efforts of a kindergarten bully
Tumblr media
Oh no. He’s a yandere
Other events:
Sebastian fucks around and explores the arena
Bard fucks around and hunts for tributes
Undertaker fucks around and sleeps
R!Ciel fucks around and picks flowers
Night 5
Tumblr media
I’ve never met anyone who ships Sebastian/Undertaker but I know you’re out there
Tumblr media
Okay, maybe these four are even less likely to team up than Phipps, Ronald, Undertaker, and Lau
Tumblr media
Edward sees I’m making jokes about people who build fires and stays hidden
Day 6
Tumblr media
Canonically, that is the only way R!Ciel would win a fight, so
Tumblr media
I probably could have predicted this
Tumblr media
I hope these are the faces they made when it happened
Tumblr media
The “unknown sponsor” is R!Ciel and the “fresh food” is an ear that fell off his own head
Tumblr media
I’m not sure if I should be concerned or unsurprised that Bard’s Hunger Games life is more chill than his canon life
Tumblr media
the “unknown sponsor” was the fish and the “clean water” was “fish water”
Other events:
Ran-Mao gets her third weapon that she doesn’t want to use, which is a hatchet
Finny finds a river
Agni practices archery again, but he doesn’t kill anyone because he wants this to go on forever
Night 6
Tumblr media
Ran-Mao I beg you please. Release us from this purgatory of mediocrity
Tumblr media
And suddenly we’re back to canon Bard
Tumblr media
I guess not everything can be canon
Other events:
Both Agni and Phipps pass out from exhaustion. It’s 2:50 a.m. so I should really be taking a page from their book, but unfortunately everyone refuses to die
The Feast
Tumblr media
Finny has been a stone cold killer this entire match, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the girl I wanted to win would get eliminated by him, but it still hurts ✌️😔
Tumblr media
If you cheat on Othello, he will overpower you, killing you
Everyone else decided not to go to the Feast. Honestly, I don’t remember what the Feast is, but everyone who did go either murdered someone or got murdered, so I guess that was probably a good call
Day 7
Tumblr media
I’ve had enough of this dude
Tumblr media
Jesus Finny I can’t wait to see how many kills you got, I feel like you and Agni were the only two who took anyone down
Bard, Undertaker, Sebastian, and Phipps all hunt for other tributes but they’re useless and don’t kill anyone
Arena Event: Volcano Eruption
Tumblr media
In one fell swoop, we lose Sebastian, Undertaker, R!Ciel, and Finny, jeez. But... that means it comes down to.............
FATHER PHIPPS VS. BARD
Tumblr media
FATHER PHIPPS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wow... Unlike his manga counterpart, this boy coasted the whole time and won... He basically went on vacation and he actually won... But then again, it’s Hunger Games Simulator and nothing is sacred
Tumblr media
Well I hope you learned a valuable lesson today. I hope you did at some point before you read my post, because you sure as hell learned nothing from this. Thank you for wasting precious minutes of your life with me 😏

Change of Mind pt.3 | Mina
CEO!AU | meet messy | “You confuse me.”
Wordcount: 10,451
Part 1 Part 2
Tumblr media
“I don’t care how busy he is! Get him on the phone and clear things up!”
Mina huffed into the phone before hanging up in annoyance. There was nothing worse than unreliable business partners.
Could this day get any worse?
The answer was yes. Just when Mina was about to take a sip of her steaming hot coffee to calm her nerves, someone ran into her full force, making her spill her beverage all over herself.
“Are you serious??”
She yelled exasperated, looking down on her beautiful blouse that looked like she had crawled through the mud with it now. The person who had run into her mumbled some apologies, but Mina didn’t even listen. She was so done with unreliable people.
“Do you know how expensive this shirt is?! You shouldn’t make other people pay for your obvious incapability to manage life.”
Desperately, Mina tried to clean her shirt with a napkin; she didn’t really have time to get changed, but she could impossibly attend all the meetings today with a stained shirt. It was truly always the same kind of people that made her life harder. Maybe it was unfair to take out all her pinned-up anger on that poor soul in front of her right now, but this incident had made Mina lose all sense of rationality.
“A diligent and decent person wouldn’t have to run anywhere. That’s what differentiates the successful from the scum. I would-“
She was about to give the person another piece of her mind when she finally averted her gaze from her blouse to look at her opponent, causing her to stop abruptly. Not only did that person look like a beaten puppy drowning in guilt, but also turned out to be the most stunning person that Mina had ever seen in her life. In awe, Mina shamelessly scanned your body, knowing that you were too speechless to stop her anyways. Everything about you was simply perfect. Therefore, Mina took her sweet time studying every detail of your body until her eyes met yours again. Your face was suddenly flushed, and it was obvious that her intense gaze was making you nervous. Mina, however, enjoyed seeing you this flustered, wherefore she decided to torture you a bit longer before clearing her throat.
“Aren’t you late to something?”
She asked, remembering that you had been running somewhere before bumping into her and she didn’t want to be the reason for you to be even later. A shocked gasp escaped your throat like you had totally forgotten about your appointment, causing Mina to giggle. You had to be really clumsy, but somehow that made you even more attractive.
“Um...I- yes. I- your shirt.”
You stuttered while rummaging your bag for your purse. Your gesture showed that you had manners and Mina liked that, but she didn’t want to have your money; you looked like you needed it more than she did. Therefore, she rested her hand on top of yours to stop you, causing you to look at her with wide eyes.
“Go.”
Mina ordered with a stern face in order to nib any backtalk in the bud. And her strategy worked. With a slightly bewildered face, you bowed hastily before rushing off.
Curious about where you would go, Mina decided to not go her way yet, but to look after you, realizing to her delight that you were entering her company.
Were you working for her?
Having the urge to know more about you, Mina quickly followed you, but waited a little at the side when she saw that you were talking to the receptionist. As soon as you were picked up by another employee, Mina rushed to the counter.
“Who was the person that you were just talking to and what is their business here?”
She cut straight to the point, much to the confusion of the receptionist.
“What- oh my god, Ms. Myoui!”
When her subordinate realized who was standing in front of her, she leaped to her feet in lightning speed and started searching for the demanded information.
“That was...um...Y/N L/N. One of the applicants for the open position in Mr. Gwan’s team in the sales department.”
When Mina heard this new piece of information, she almost squealed in joy. So you could indeed be working for her soon which meant that she had the chance to see you again.
“Thank you.”
Hastily, Mina thanked the receptionist before rushing to the elevator to pay the sales department a visit. Of course, it was Mr. Gwan’s decision who he wanted to have in his team, but maybe a recommendation of hers would help him to make his decision...
As soon the elevator door opened on the ninth floor, a murmur went through the sales department, causing Mina to smirk in amusement. It was always the same. She was well respected in her company, maybe even feared by some. But she didn’t mind. She enjoyed the nervous glances and the dignified bows of her subordinates. Therefore, she strutted down the hallway with her head held high, knowing fully well that all the team leaders were having a little mental breakdown right now, wondering whether they had messed something up. If they only knew that Mina couldn’t care less about their work right now...
Without any detours, she walked straight to the conference room where your job interview was happening and pressed her ear against the door. She just wanted to know whether you needed her help to get the job or whether you were doing fine by yourself. But instead of hearing a professional conversation, Mina heard something that made her blood boil.
“Who do you think you are? Do you think I’m only waiting for you? And then you appear here looking like that?”
She heard a man, who she assumed to be Mr. Gwan, yelling, causing an inexplicable fire to light inside of her. Mina knew that she shouldn’t be affected by this. You were a complete stranger and she should not get involved in affairs that weren’t in her field of duty. But for some reason the thought of someone yelling at you made her lose her cool. Without knocking, Mina teared open the door to the conference room and stormed inside.
“Is that how you deal with all of our applicants? Do you think that’s good publicity for my company? My god, you must have been raised by animals. Your incompetence is truly astonishing.”
She yelled without a warning, causing Mr. Gwan and you to look at her in shock. Immediately, Mina got lost in your helpless puppy dog eyes again and she completely ignored Mr. Gwan’s useless babbling. Something about you just sparked an incredible urge to protect you inside of her. If you could make everyone feel this way, Mina had no trouble believing that you had the whole world whipped for you.
Mr. Gwan kept going on and on until Mina had enough of his annoying voice and interrupted him rudely.
“Well, I don’t really have time for your irrelevant babbling. For your sake, however, I hope that you will quickly fill this position with the right person. Otherwise...well, I think I will not be having any use for you.”
The dumbfounded expression on Mr. Gwan’s face conjured a smile to Mina’s lips and she had to refrain herself from laughing. She was sure that this poor man had gotten her hint and would make the right decision regarding you. Therefore, she turned around wordlessly and left the room with a victorious smirk on her face. Her job was done here. Instead of instantly making her way to the long-overdue appointment of hers though, Mina decided to wait in front of the room. She assumed that the meeting probably wouldn’t even take fifteen minutes and she wanted to talk with you one last time for today. Gladly, her assumption turned out to be right and the door to the conference room opened ten minutes later.
You stepped out of the room, looking like you had had the worst day of your life and Mina had to hold herself back from pulling you into her arms. Instead, she went for a more professional and appropriate approach.
“Congratulations.”
Mina exclaimed happily, causing you to flinch. Only now you seemed to have realized that you weren’t alone in the hallway and turned around with a confused expression on your face. Once you saw her, you tensed up again and Mina didn’t know whether she found it adorable that you still got so flustered around her or irritating that you seemed to be almost scared of her.
“I- thank you. It’s just-“
You stuttered and Mina looked at you expectantly. This would be the first time that you would communicate a coherent sentence with her. But once again, your courage left you and you stared at her helplessly. Therefore, Mina calmly got closer to you in hopes that she could show you that there wasn’t just this loud, aggressive side to her that she had already demonstrated you twice today.
“It’s just what?”
She chuckled, encouraging you to finish your sentence.
“It’s just...I don’t understand why you’re doing this for me. You confuse me.”
Your sudden confession came unexpected, but Mina liked your straightforwardness. But judging by the expression on your face, you hadn’t planned to be so blunt, causing her to laugh.
“You’ll figure it out soon.”
Mina answered mysteriously, wondering whether you had truly no idea yet why she was being so nice to you. It wasn’t like she made her attraction towards you a secret. But to give you another hint, she stepped closer to you, managing to bring her own heartbeat to an unhealthy frequency. It would be so easy to close the gap now, but Mina wasn’t so sure whether you were ready yet. Therefore, she decided that she had teased you enough for the day.
“Anyways, see you Monday.”
Nonchalantly, Mina stepped away from you again and gave you a cheeky wink before turning around and strutting away while stifling a laugh.
Oh you were so adorable, she couldn’t even wait for your next encounter.
---
But unfortunately, the day of your next encounter was tainted by an unpleasant incident beforehand. Like any logical human being would have done, Mina had of course arranged your relocation to her floor. Mr. Gwan was clearly a bad team leader and she didn’t like her current assistant anyways. Therefore, it was only plausible to make you her new assistant. Unfortunately, there was an array of people who thought differently about that.
Mina had already noticed the day of the job interview that people were whispering more behind her back than usual but after she had ordered her assistant to move to the sales department, the rumor mill exploded. It needed a while till the rumors ended up on the top floor, but as Mina made her way to her first meeting of the week on Monday, she got a taste of what her employees were saying about her.
“So I’ve heard you hired a new assistant. Rumors have it that they are more than just you’re assistant though. Who are they? A relative? A fling?”
Mr. Jeon, a high-ranking board member, smirked as he sat down next to Mina at the conference table. His question surprised her; she hadn’t thought that the news would carry quite that fast. But Mina didn’t let her surprise show, calmly she faced him and feigned a lack of knowledge.
“You should know by now that most rumors are just the product of too much fantasy. I simply didn’t get along with my assistant and needed a new one.”
Mina lied with a fake smile on her lips, but the arrogant expression on Mr. Jeon’s face told her that he wasn’t done interrogating her yet.
“Sure...Is that why you yelled at a senior employee of ours and -how should I say- stole his new recruit? Come on, you can be honest with me. I won’t judge, I know that assistants can be quite...tempting. It would be totally normal if one of them made you weak.”
Disgusted, Mina’s gaze fell on the wedding ring on his finger and she had to suppress the urge to roll her eyes. She hated that people were associating her with someone like him.
“I yelled at the employee because he was out of line. And I didn’t steal his recruit. This is my company, I can’t steal what’s already mine.”
She said sharply and Mr. Jeon’s grin faltered.
“Yes of course. It was obvious that all those rumors were just made up.”
He quickly uttered and Mina had to distract herself with the documents in front of her, because otherwise she would have to tell him how much his spinelessness disgusted her.
But despite knowing that Mr. Jeon was nothing but a blithering idiot, Mina couldn’t manage to ignore his remarks. They were stuck in her brain and during the whole meeting, his words bothered her. For one, she didn’t want her whole company to talk badly about you. You hadn’t even started working yet, but everyone still knew your name by now. But above all, there was one word that Mina hated more than any other. A word that instantly caused her to fly off the handle if people used it to describe her. Weak. Mina knew that she wouldn’t be so bothered by Mr. Jeon’s words if she didn’t secretly think that there was some truth to them.
Were you making her weak?
Mina couldn’t say in good conscience that all her actions in the past week had been right. She shouldn’t have compromised a good senior employee like Mr. Gwon and she definitely shouldn’t have transferred her assistant to the sales department without a warning. Those decisions weren’t made after thorough consideration and in favor of her company like she usually did; they resulted from a selfish desire. With every minute that Mina sat in that conference room, she got more upset about herself. How could she have acted so recklessly? If she had only been more considerate, the whole company wouldn’t be talking about her love life right now.
Mina was so lost in her thoughts that she only realized that the meeting had ended when she was the last person remaining in the room. Quickly, she packed all her stuff while cursing when she realized that her next meeting would start in less than two minutes. Annoyed, she ran to the next room. You were really bringing her nothing but trouble. She had to focus on her company again. If she could, she would even rewind to the day of the job interview and make everything undone. But that was just wishful thinking now. Nevertheless, there were other measures that she could take: she had to cleanse her mind from you. Therefore, she tried to clear her mind before sitting down at the head of the table at her next meeting, intending to pay better attention this time around. Her good resolution was put to the test, however, when the door to the conference room suddenly flew open to reveal you.
The root of all the chaos in her life right now.
Like the first time, her heart immediately started fluttering when your eyes met; especially when you waved at her awkwardly. You were such a dork. Mina could have sat there forever, just looking at you, but when she felt the gazes of the other participants of the meeting on her, she got reminded of the annoying rumors that were circulating in the company and her expression changed quickly. Instead of flashing you a wide gummy smile like she wanted to, Mina rolled her eyes, feigning to be a ruthless boss.
She needed to nib those rumors in the bud.
The look on your face, however, caused Mina to regret her decision in an instant. You looked so confused and she wished to be able to apologize to you. But that wouldn’t be fair. She had to stop with all that hot and cold treatment. Her company came before everything else. Therefore, she needed to focus again and if that was only possible by cutting you off, she needed to show you the cold shoulder for now.
A task that turned out to be harder than she had thought.
Your little insecure glances throughout the whole meeting didn’t go unnoticed by her, even if she forbade herself to stare at you. It was pure torture. Mina would love nothing more than to flash you a smile or to give you an encouraging thumbs up to tell you that you were doing fine for your first day. But the eyes of the others were glued on her today. Even when the meeting was over and the two of you made your way to her office on the top floor. All the assistants whispered behind your back, causing you to insecurely scan your surroundings. You were clearly uncomfortable, and this was all her fault. She needed to make it up to you; even if her good intentions would be absolutely invisible to you.
Throughout the week, Mina could see how your frustration grew with every day. She was punishing you with ignorance and criticism, no matter how accurately you were working. It was cruel and hurting Mina probably exactly as much as it was hurting you, but she told herself that you would thank her in the end. Nevertheless, she had never been looking forward to the end of the week like this week. Only one more meeting and she could send you home and recover from this horrible week. She would be in dire need of a breather after this meeting. Not only because of you, but also because this meeting was essential for the future of this company. If she could close this deal, no recession in this world could bring her down. She would rise above all the competition. Therefore, she was equally looking forward to this meeting as she was also dreading it. Nervously, she had paced about in her office before strutting to the conference room, pretending to be confident.
“Mr. Park, I’m glad that you could make it.”
With a wide smile on her face and an extended hand, Mina approached the older CEO and bowed to him politely while shaking his hand.
“Shall we?”
She pointed towards the conference room where everyone took a seat around the table. It didn’t take long till you entered the room as well and headed straight for the guests.
“Good morning. Is there anything that I can get you?”
You asked politely with a soft smile and Mina felt how a bit of her nervousness disappeared. Maybe you were causing her to make crazy decisions, but she couldn’t deny the calmness that she felt around you either. That was as long as everyone behaved around you, which Mina couldn’t really say right now. The way all those conceited prigs were rudely spitting out their orders without showing any sign of gratitude was causing this certain familiar irritation to crawl out of the dark inside of Mina. But you handled the situation with grace, so she took a deep breath and tried to let it go. This was neither the place nor time to make a scene; this customer was really important. Therefore, she pushed all the thoughts about you to the very back of her head and started the meeting with her eyes on the price: walking out of this room with a closed deal today.
If just everyone had been as focused as her...
Unfortunately, it seemed like the Mr. Park really wanted to test her patience though.
“Why isn’t my coffee iced?”
He snapped at you, when you returned to the conference room and placed his order in front of him. Irritated, Mina looked up from her notes in front of her, feeling like someone had just dropped a matchstick into an oil drum inside of her. Her grasp automatically tightened around the pen that she was holding, and her eyes darkened.
“I-iced? Because you ordered a hot cappuccino…”
You stuttered and Mina could hear how you were struggling to stay polite.
“I did not. Go get me a new one. Iced. I hope you’re able to keep that simple order in mind this time.”
Mr. Park rudely shoved the cup into your hands and Mina needed to physically bite her tongue in order to stop herself from stepping in. She could taste blood in her mouth and she quickly averted her gaze from the scene in front of her. The company comes first, she told herself in her head over and over again in a desperate attempt to bring her heartrate down. Only when she heard the door of the conference room being opened and closed, she dared to look up again, seeing that you had left the room.
“It’s so hard to get competent assistants these days...”
Mr. Park scoffed and the other men at the table agreed with him, but not Mina. He could be glad that she didn’t just rip his head off; she surely wouldn’t suck up to him just to please him. Therefore, she simply cleared her throat to catch the attention of the others and continued with her presentation.
“Where were we? Ah right, the targets of our partnership.”
Mina smiled, ready to focus on the benefits that Mr. Park brought to the table again, although they were harder to see with every minute that passed. There was barely a sentence that she could finish before Mr. Park interrupted her with a stupid comment. Maybe Mina could have endured them better if there wasn’t a flame already flickering inside of her, but it was increasingly hard for her to keep her cool. Your appearance was just the final straw to make her explode.
You walked into the room with a fake smile on your lips and the coffee that Mr. Park definitely didn’t deserve. It was hard for Mina to listen to another one of his dumb remarks while observing you in the corner of her eye, but she tried her best to stay focus. That was until a really unfortunate event caused her breath to catch in her throat.
“YA!”
Mr. Park yelled after you had spilled his coffee all over him. Deserved, Mina thought to herself while feigning to be shocked although she was actually trying her hardest not to laugh. Her amusement, however, disappeared a second later when Mr. Park leaped to his feet in order to yell at you.
“You incompetent idiot! What is wrong with you?! Did you just spill the coffee all over me to get back at me?? Do you know who I am? I’m going to make you pay for this, you ungrateful scumbag!”
The company comes first, the company comes first, the company comes first, the com- how dare this asshole?!
Mina had tried her hardest to keep her cool for the sake of her company, but enough was enough. No one, absolutely no one was allowed to yell at you. Anger replaced every single bit of rationality in her body and she leaped to her feet while slamming her hand on the table.
“Out.”
Was the only word she managed to choke out without absolutely losing her temper. But no one moved and Mr. Park even had the audacity to smirk victoriously. Did he think that she had meant you? In that case, she had to make herself clearer...
“I said out! The deal is off the table. My company doesn’t make deals with petty tyrants like you.”
She yelled now, unable to keep her emotions in check. The jaws of everyone in the room dropped and Mina would have probably laughed if her anger weren’t still consuming her completely.
“Excuse me?”
Mr. Park stuttered and Mina was starting to lose her patience. She couldn’t stand to see this man a second longer.
“Out.”
She growled and this time, Mr. Park seemed to have gotten the hint. In disbelief, he scoffed and looked at his associates before straightening out his stained suit.
“Very well. But don’t think that these ties can ever be mended. I’m going to make sure that you’re going to regret this.”
He stated arrogantly and it took everything from Mina not to jump across the table to grab him by his collar and to throw him out of the building herself. Making her regret this? He didn’t have that kind of power, if any Mina would make him regret ever having lived. Breathlessly, she supported herself on the table after Mr. Park and his associates had left the room as it hit Mina what she had just done. Even if Mr. Park was the biggest asshole on this planet, the deal with his company would have still been huge. But that chance was gone forever now, and Mina couldn’t believe that she had robbed her company of it just because of you.
“This is all your fault.”
She hissed angrily before finally looking at you.
“This was a million-dollar deal. Damn it.”
You flinched in shock when she swept the portfolio off the table, making her regret her action in an instant.
“I-I’m sorry.”
You stuttered and Mina chuckled bitterly.
“Oh thank you, that makes everything better.”
She exclaimed cynically, although she knew that it wasn’t fair to let her anger out on you. None of this was actually your fault.
“Of course not. I’m sorry, I will get my stuff.”
You mumbled in defeat, causing Mina’s heart to break. Get your stuff? Were you still not able to see that she was willing to sacrifice everything in order to have you in her life?
With slouched shoulders, you walked to the door and Mina knew that she should let you go. You were turning everything upside down. But she couldn’t let you slip out of that door and out of her life. Not after everything that she had already given up for you. Therefore, she quickly chased after you and grabbed your arm just as you wanted to press down the door handle. With a strong pull, she managed to spin you around, causing you to helplessly stumble into her arms. Once again, Mina instantly got lost in your eyes and she didn’t waste another second before grabbing your neck and crashing her lips into yours. She had wanted to do this since your first encounter. Starving for your taste, she ran her tongue over your bottom lip and finally you seemed to wake up. Hesitantly, you granted her access and Mina had to suppress the urge to hum into the kiss. She had kissed so many people in her life, but never had she ever felt so high before. Your taste was addicting, and she wished that she could keep standing there with you forever. But this was a highly frequented room; anyone could walk in here any second, so Mina pulled away reluctantly. Despite the risk, however, she couldn’t get herself to step away from you. Her hands kept cupping your face and she gently stroked your cheeks with her thumbs while letting this feeling of comfort wash over her as she got lost in her eyes. How did you manage to make her feel so many things in just a split second? Desperately, Mina sighed before resting her forehead against yours.
“What am I supposed to do with you? You drive me crazy.”
---
Mina’s words were causing you to chuckle. You were driving her crazy? What were you supposed to say? Gently, you put your finger underneath her chin and pushed it up to make her look at you.
“Well...you could stop pushing me away. Because you are driving me crazy too.”
You replied and Mina sheepishly hid her head in the crook of your neck.
“I’m sorry.”
She mumbled against your skin and you laughed.
“It’s ok, now that I know that you like me too, your behavior is more bearable.”
Your statement caused Mina’s head to shoot up and she looked at you in disbelief.
“You only know now that I like you?? I made it so obvious!”
She gasped and you held up your hands defensively.
“You didn’t talk to me for one whole week and when you did, you yelled at me! How should I have known?”
You argued, remembering how this week would have been the worst of your entire life if Mina hadn’t just made it up to you.
“Ok...if you say it like that, I see where you’re coming from.”
Mina said innocently and you shook your head in amusement. You liked this kind of interactions between the two of you a lot better.
“Yeah you should definitely make it up to me.”
A light smirk tugged on the corner of your lip as you stepped closer again and Mina mirrored your expression in anticipation. Just when you were about to lean in for another kiss though, the door of the conference room suddenly swung open and Mina jumped away from you as if you were toxic. Completely oblivious to what was going on, a man entered, seeming to be fuming in anger.
“Is it true? Is it true that the deal with the Park corporation is off the table?”
The man’s voice cracked, and Mina avoided his gaze before reluctantly walking closer to him.
“Yes, it’s true. Mr. Park was highly uncooperative.”
She answered calmly, but the man looked like she had just said the most ridiculous thing on the planet.
“Uncooperative?? It was your job to make him cooperative! Do you know how much this deal would have meant for this company?”
It was cruel to watch Mina getting scolded for something that you had messed up, but you felt like it wasn’t your place to step in.
“Mr. Jeon, please calm down. Let’s go to my office.”
Mina stayed professional and gestured towards the door whereat Mr. Jeon sighed and left the room. Helplessly, you stood there, looking at Mina who flashed you an apologetic gaze before stepping into the hallway as well, leaving you alone in the conference room. Since meeting Mina, you felt like you were living in an alternate universe; everything seemed to be way too crazy to be real. But today was a step in the right direction. At least you knew now that you weren’t delusional. Mina truly liked you and seemed to be just as helpless as you. It was high time that you sorted things out with each other. Maybe the two of you could use the weekend to meet outside of work and talk about everything. Therefore, you followed the two board members to the top floor and sat down at your desk in front of Mina’s office, waiting for a chance to talk with the CEO. Through the glass walls, you could see that Mr. Jeon and Mina were discussing agitatedly for almost an hour before they eventually seemed to have come to an agreement. While glaring at you angrily, Mr. Jeon left Mina’s office and disappeared in another one further down the hallway. Mina, on the other hand, tiredly sat behind her desk and stared into the void.
Maybe you could cheer her up by asking her out...
Therefore, you took a deep breath and walked over to her office. You knocked shortly before letting yourself in without waiting for an answer.
“Hey.”
You greeted Mina shyly, but she only gifted you with a short glance. Instead, she turned her attention to some papers on her desk and started to rustle with them busily.
“Um...I was wondering whether you had some time to talk?”
You piped up while awkwardly shifting your weight from one foot to the other.
“No.”
Mina simply replied without bothering to look up from her desk. Dumbfounded, you stared at her, not knowing how to react to her sudden coldness.
“Maybe later?”
You tried your luck once more, but you ran against a wall.
“No, I’m busy.”
It seemed like you had accidentally traveled back in time. Instead of talking with the woman that had kissed you senseless in the conference room earlier, you were faced with the old Mina again that punished you with ignorance for one whole week. Your headache instantly returned again, and you stumbled out of the office in pure disbelief. How could one single person have that many mood swings? Exhausted by the events of the day, you plopped down on your chair and pretended to work on some papers that Mina had given you this morning, while replaying the kiss in your head over and over again. All the emotions that Mina had put in it, couldn’t have been fake, right? You martyred your brain for almost an hour until a movement in the corner of your eye ripped you from your line of thought. It was Mina who finally left her office.
“You can leave early today, Y/N. See you on Monday.”
She said emotionlessly while walking by, leaving you even more confused than before. You didn’t even have the chance to talk back before she was already gone. For at least fifteen minutes, you simply stared down the empty hallway while trying to make sense of Mina before packing up your stuff in slow-motion. Usually, you wouldn’t have minded a long weekend, but under these circumstances, you dreaded it. A bad feeling was beginning to spread in your guts.
What if the kiss hadn’t changed anything? What if everything would stay the same?
---
Mina felt like punching herself as she rushed down the hallway. She was playing a cruel game with you; she was painfully aware of that. But she couldn’t stop. You were somehow messing with the chemicals in her brain and cutting you out of her life wasn’t an option anymore. But at the same time, she had responsibility for her company and Mr. Jeon had just made it clear to her what would happen if she didn’t fulfill her duties. Yes, she was the CEO of this company, but if the shareholders would work together, they could still remove her from her position. It was maddening and she needed time to think. Therefore, she had sent you home early. She couldn’t stand to be around you a second longer and to be reminded of the highly unpleasant talk with Mr. Jeon. You probably already had a whiplash from her mood swings, and she needed to use this weekend to come up with a solution.
But no matter how hard Mina martyred her brain, she couldn’t find one. Before she knew it, the weekend was over, she was sitting in her office again and you were driving her insane, just by looking at some papers. Half of the morning was wasted already because Mina hadn’t been able to concentrate. Instead, she had been staring at you. The way you knitted your brow when you concentrated was extremely adorable and the moment you bit your lip while filling out some form, Mina knew that she had to do something about her desire. Not wasting another second, she leaped to her feet and strutted to your desk.
“I need your help.”
Without waiting for your answer, Mina walked to the copy room, hearing how you followed her hectically. The moment you had entered the room, she slammed the door shut before pressing you against one of the photocopiers to your surprise. Utter confusion was written all over your face, so Mina decided to give short shrift. Just like the first time, she simply pressed her lips on yours, trying to let you know how much she wanted you even if she couldn’t always show it to you. She hadn’t been so sure whether you would forgive her after she had sent you home on Friday, but to her delight, your lips soon started to move in sync with hers causing her to sigh into the kiss. She had missed you tremendously, even if she only hadn’t seen you for two days. But apparently, you were feeling the same. Needily, you were pulling her closer even though there wasn’t even space for a single piece of paper between the two of you. Mina couldn’t help but to smile into the kiss while teasing you by pulling away several times, only to have you leaning forward to capture her lips again. It seemed like you were two magnets that simply belonged together, but unfortunately the knowledge that there was probably already another client of hers waiting in her office was annoyingly pinching her and Mina had to pull away despite the overwhelming attraction.
“I have an appointment.”
She whispered while softly stroking the outlines of your jaw.
“Skip it.”
You grinned, causing her to chuckle. She was very tempted to agree to your offer, but she knew that she couldn’t. The only thing that she could offer you right now were fleeting and secret moments like this. Her duties as CEO still came before you.
“I can’t.”
After pressing another kiss on your lips, she pushed herself off you and fixed her clothes.
“It’s a very important meeting. Oh and I need you to print the documents that I’ve sent you per mail.”
Sheepishly, Mina smiled at you, knowing that her timing was terrible right now, but you didn’t seem to mind.
“Yes, ma’am.”
You saluted dorkily, causing her to laugh before turning around to leave the room.
Maybe it wasn’t much that she could give you, but she would make sure to make those times worthwhile... and plenty. Mina just couldn’t help herself. You simply looked so kissable when you typed away on your computer or prepped her for one of her million meetings. So, in the following weeks it became a habit that Mina abducted you to an empty room whenever no one was around to express her affection even when she had to show you the cold shoulder most of the time. Because as soon as other people were around, Mina pretended to be your ruthless superior who mercilessly bossed you around. It was hard to be mean to you, but it was a necessary evil to prove all the people wrong that had spread rumors about the two of you. And Mina’s plan seemed to work. After a few weeks, no one whispered behind your back anymore and Mr. Jeon stopped eyeing you suspiciously. Mina even had to stop herself from becoming cocky and acting foolish again due to the naivety of everyone else. It had almost been too easy to find a solution to her problems...almost. Because what Mina hadn’t considered in her perfect plan were your feelings. You had played your part in her scheme so perfectly until you suddenly didn’t anymore one day...
---
People bumped into you left and right, but you didn’t care. Despite being an obstacle in the busy stream of employees that were trying to get to their workplace on time, you didn’t pick up your pace. Your initial euphoria about your new job was long gone and by now you just dreaded to go to work. You were so tired of Mina’s games. Even if her little ambushes had managed to help you get over her otherwise rough behavior, they simply weren’t enough anymore. You wanted to be more than just her little secret during her five-minute breaks between two meetings. Or maybe you would even be able to bear the secrecy if she wouldn’t grumble at you because of every little mistake. But the combination of both was just slowly killing you. Therefore, you took your time every morning to get to work. You knew that Mina would discover your daily tardiness one day, but she yelled at you anyways, so why should you bother?
Like always, you arrived five minutes late and barely managed to plop down on your chair before Mina rushed past your desk.
“Y/N, did you print the documents that I asked you for yesterday? Bring them to my meeting.”
She demanded before disappearing in her office, only to storm out of it again a second later to get to her meeting on time. You, on the other hand, weren’t prepared to go there yet, because horrified, you realized that you hadn’t printed the demanded documents yesterday. You remembered that Mina had asked you for them five minutes before your finishing time and you had simply waved her request off. Little had you known that she needed them so soon. In lightning speed, you opened the attachment of her last mail from the day before and hit the ‘print’ button. To your dismay, however, it seemed like the document was 100 pages long and with every second that passed you knew that your death inched closer. On wobbly legs you eventually ran to the conference room, managing to arrive only a minute after the official start. Relieved, you sighed silently when you entered the room and heard that Mina was still making small talk with the other participants of the meeting. Unfortunately, though, your happiness didn’t last long.
“Are you incapable of telling the time?”
You didn’t need to look at Mina to know that she was staring at you with one of her terrifying gazes that seemed to be able to set you on fire. With your head hanging low, you put down the documents in front of her and lightly bowed to her.
“I’m really sorry. It will never ha-“
Before you were able to finish your apology, Mina cut you short.
“I’m so tired of your sloppy work! Everyone would be grateful to have your job and you allow yourself to play games? I gave you this opportunity and I can take it from you again if I want to. I should have known better. You have been unreliable from the start.”
She scoffed and your head snapped up. Somehow Mina’s comment suddenly caused your blood to seethe. You were unreliable? You had never asked her to get you this job and you had done all your work diligently despite her antics. In order to be close to her, you endured everything silently and were willing to put your own needs below hers. But now you were beginning to ask yourself if it was all worth it. Did she even appreciate you? Because right now it didn’t sound like it. If there were so many people who would be grateful to be in your shoes, you shouldn’t be selfish, right? While tightly clenching your fist to stop yourself from making a scene, you bowed deeply before firmly looking into her eyes.
“I’m sorry. I will not upset you again.”
You stated emotionlessly before turning around and leaving the room. You would indeed never upset her again. But neither would you ever reward her with your presence again.
Furious, you stormed to your desk where you paced up and down the hallway. Could you really quit? You had dreamed about working in this company for ages. Besides, you also depended on the salary and you weren’t so sure whether you would immediately find a new job. Frustrated, you plopped down on your chair and weighted your options. Should you swallow your pride, or should you risk becoming homeless? It was a tough decision but in the end, you knew that only one of those options would come into question. You could no one longer knuckle under to Mina; not if you still wanted to be able to look at yourself in the mirror. Therefore, you quickly packed up all your stuff, hoping that you could disappear before Mina would be back.
Unfortunately, however, you were just halfway down the hallway when the elevator door opened and your soon to be ex-boss stepped out. When she spotted you, she quickly looked around to make sure that no one was around before approaching you with a smirk on her face. As soon as she noticed the box with all your belongings in your hands though, she started frowning.
“What are you doing, Y/N?”
She asked with concern resonating in her voice.
“I’m done.”
You spat out, wanting to simply walk past her, but she grabbed your wrist to stop you.
“What do you mean?”
Genuine confusion reflected in her eyes and you wondered how she could still be so clueless. Did she really not know how wrong her little games were?
“I quit. This job and whatever this is between us. I’m tired of you and your games.”
With a strong arm movement, you ripped yourself free of her grasp and rushed to the elevator that was still on your floor. As the doors slowly closed, you could see that Mina was staring at you with an open mouth in utter disbelief and you almost felt sorry for her. But then you remembered that exactly this weakness for her soft side had gotten you in this trouble in the first place and you quickly pulled away your hand that reflexively wanted to stop the door from closing. Instead, you pressed the button for the ground floor and averted your eyes from Mina before you could change your mind. This rollercoaster ride needed to end now.
---
Mina felt like she was stuck in a bad dream when she watched you stepping into the elevator. She had truly thought that the two of you were doing fine and those news were hitting her like a truck. The moment your words had left your lips, her heart had stopped beating and her whole body was frozen ever since. Only when the display above the elevator showed a red 1, the stinging pain in Mina’s chest slowly started to spread in her body and managed to rip her out of her trance.
You were gone.
Indecisively, Mina turned in circles while grasping her hair, not knowing whether she should chase after you or act like a CEO. Why did everything always seem to come down to the conflict between her love for you and her responsibility for her company?
“Ah Ms. Myoui, I was just on my way to you. Do you have a minute?”
Mr. Jeon’s voice caused Mina to jump in shock. Dumbfounded, she turned around and saw that he was standing in the door of his office with a smug smile playing on his lips. Her gaze immediately darted back to the elevator where her heart was telling her to go.
“I-I have to...”
She stuttered, pointing to the elevator, but Mr. Jeon cut her short.
“Please, it’s important.”
He countered, causing Mina to sigh in defeat. She had sworn to him that she would never let her feelings interfere with the success of this company again. Therefore, she reluctantly followed him into his office where she listened to his babbling with only half an ear. Your words just played in her head over and over again.
I quit. This job and whatever this is between us. I’m tired of you and your games.
Only after hearing your words Mina had realized that she had never officially asked you to be hers or taken you out on a real date. In hindsight, she couldn’t believe how selfish she had been. Had she really dared to martyr you every single day without giving you anything in return? Without noticing, Mina huffed loudly, causing Mr. Jeon to stop his monologue and to look at her in confusion.
“I’m sorry, please continue. I was just thinking about...a client.”
Mina lied and Mr. Jeon eyed her suspiciously.
“It’s ok, I don’t want to steal any more of your precious time. And we can continue talking tonight. You’re coming, right?”
He asked and Mina stared at him for several seconds, trying to remember what he was referring to until she remembered the red cross in her calendar that was labeled ‘Annual Business Partner Gala’. This time the loud huff that slipped past her lips was directed at Mr. Jeon who looked at her offended, but Mina didn’t care. She really had better things to do tonight. But of course, she couldn’t just skip the gala. She was the face of the company and her business partners expected her to give a speech that would assure them that Myoui Holdings was still yielding the money that they expected. Therefore, Mina put on a fake smile and looked at Mr. Jeon.
“Of course, I’ll be there.”
She assured him before leaping to her feet and leaving his office, not being in the mood to pretend any longer to be listening to his unimportant babbling.
With her thoughts racing through her brain like on a racetrack, Mina made her way to her own office. As she passed your desk, however, her movements halted, and she looked at your seat with regret tugging at her heartstrings. If she hadn’t been so selfish you would still be sitting there. She just had made it too easy for herself and now karma was making her pay for it. With every second that she was standing there, it became harder for her to breathe, because it cost her every bit of strength in her body to suppress the tears that were threatening to spill. Maybe she had missed her chance to make you know how much you meant to her, but she herself was painfully aware of that fact which made it unbearable to stare at your empty desk. Therefore, Mina did what she had promised Mr. Jeon not to do and let her feelings get the better of her. Although you had left her several sticky notes on her desk that were telling her what she still had to do today, she couldn’t manage to free her thoughts from you. So in order to prevent having a breakdown in front of all the board members of her company, she grabbed her belongings and rushed out of her office.
She needed to put distance between her and this mess.
The car ride to her apartment didn’t take long but it seemed like it lasted hours. Even if her driver was obliged not to spill anything that happened in the car, Mina didn’t want to cry in front of him. It would absolutely ruin her reputation. Therefore, she held back her tears until her key card unlocked her door and she could finally stumble into her safe space. The hours that followed were a blur. Mina knew that she had to be calm and composed again for the gala tonight, so she tried to let out all her bottled-up emotions, resulting in a tearful breakdown.
What was she supposed to do about you? Was it selfish of her again to want you back?
Not only her brain and her heart seemed to disagree on the answer to this question. No, her heart alone seemed to be torn too. On the one hand, it told her to give in to her love for you. She didn’t want to live without you. She wanted to make it up to you and show you that she could do better. But on the other hand, the same love told her to stay away. Didn’t you deserve someone who treated you better? Even if she would stop with the secrecy and the blowups, she still wouldn’t have a lot of time for you. Her company demanded a lot of time from her and she wasn’t sure if you were willing to endure that. The dilemma was killing her, so Mina was almost glad when it was time to get ready for the gala and she could distract herself. Although it was hard to ignore her problems when her puffy face demanded almost twice the amount of makeup that she usually needed and to make things worse, even her dress reminded her of you, because she had chosen it specifically for you to impress you. Tears immediately started to pool in Mina’s eyes when she looked at herself in the mirror and she quickly rushed to her wardrobe to search for another dress. One that wouldn’t remind her of her failure throughout the whole night.
Just as Mina was about to make a terrible mess out of her closet though, the sound of her doorbell caused her to head to snap to the side.
“Y/N?”
She whispered absentmindedly before stumbling out of her room and to the front door. Maybe you were here to take the decision that was tearing her apart off her plate. Full of hope, Mina swung open the door, only to feel her heart break all over again when she stood face to face with her guest. Another guest than she had expected.
“Are you ready?”
Seongmin asked with a bored expression and Mina huffed in disappointment. She had totally forgotten about him. Business partners liked to see that their partner was doing well- both in business as well as in their private lives. Therefore, Mina had started to take her old school friend Seongmin to official events. For some reason, a single, successful woman apparently didn’t fit into the norm of the world that she was operating in. So she faked to be in a relationship with Seongmin to fulfill their stereotypes. It was degrading and Mina didn’t know why she allowed the board members and business partners to have so much power over her.
“What am I even doing?”
She sighed frustrated, causing Seongmin to look at her in confusion.
Was this really the life that she wanted to live? Did she really want the be the board members’ and business partners’ puppet? Mina’s gaze fell on the dress that she was wearing, and she wondered whether the two of you would still be together if she hadn’t allowed the opinions of others to mess with her head.
“You are getting ready for the gala. Where you are going with me. Your date.”
Seongmin answered hesitantly, still not being able to make sense of Mina’s weird behavior. His words caused her to look at him and she suddenly felt how her annoyance took control over her. Your date. This was just wrong. She shouldn’t have to fake a relationship to please others. And even more so, she shouldn’t have to hide her real one. She could be a good CEO and a good girlfriend. Maybe it had taken her a while, but finally Mina knew what the right thing was to do.
“No, you’re not my date. I already have one.”
She replied before rushing back into her apartment to grab her shoes and her purse. When she came back to the front door, Seongmin was still standing there dumbfounded and she quickly pressed a kiss on his cheek.
“Thank you for coming, Seongmin. But I don’t need your services tonight. You can go home.”
Mina smiled before running to the elevator. Her newfound determination suddenly washed away the lethargy from before and a wave of energy was electrifying her whole body. In lightning speed, she made her way to her car while calling the head of HR in hopes that the poor devil was still working.
“Ms. Myoui?”
He picked up the phone with uncertainty resonating in his voice, but Mina cut straight to the point, not having time for any explanations.
“Jinyoung, hi! Listen you have to do me a favor.”
She panted into the phone breathlessly while speeding out of the underground garage.
“You need to get me the address of an employee. The name is Y/N L/N.”
Jinyoung was audibly confused by Mina’s request and voiced concerns about confidentiality. But after repeating her request a second time in the sharp tone that made all her employees bow down to her, Mina could hear how Jinyoung typed something on his computer before sending her the address via text message.
“You are the best! Thank you!”
Without losing any more time, Mina hung up the phone and fed the address to her GPS that spit out the supposed shortest route to your apartment in return. Unfortunately, though, this time of day was not the best to drive from one part of the city to the other and Mina groaned loudly when she saw the time of arrival. Nevertheless, she didn’t let this little setback get her down and used the time that she was stuck in traffic to practice her apology in the rearview mirror instead. As soon as she was standing in front of your door, however, all her practice appeared to be useless. What if you didn’t want her back? She couldn’t resent you for that. The way that she had treated you in the past weeks had been absolutely unacceptable.
“Maybe I should come back another day?”
Mina mumbled to herself, remembering that she had learned in her years as CEO to never enter a negotiation unprepared. What were her arguments to convince you to take her back? What were her counterarguments for your accusations that you surely wouldn’t spare her? Before Mina could come up with a fitting strategy, however, the door to your apartment suddenly swung open and she found herself face-to-face with you. The moment your eyes met hers, your jaw dropped, and you stared at her with wide eyes.
“What are you doing here?”
You gasped, not seeming to have expected her in front of your door. Dumbfounded by your sudden presence, Mina opened and closed her mouth wordlessly in search for the right thing to say. Apologies weren’t her strong suit. Her reputation as ruthless and unapologetic CEO had gotten her where she was now. She wasn’t good at showing her vulnerable side. Therefore, before she knew it, her instincts took over and told her that there was only one applicable strategy right now: Offense is the best defense.
“I’m picking you up. We’re going on a date.”
Mina stated determined with her head held high, causing you to frown in confusion.
“No, we’re not.”
You scoffed, looking slightly offended. But Mina held her course.
“Yes, you are.”
She countered before brushing past you in order to walk into your apartment. For a second, she was disoriented in the unfamiliar surrounding but then she spotted her target and headed straight for your bedroom.
“W-wha... Do I get a say in this?”
You stuttered perplexed while watching how Mina rummaged your closet for something pretty for you to wear tonight.
“No.”
Mina simply answered as she pulled out a shirt that had looked like a perfect fit at first glance. But now that she was holding it in front of you, she didn’t really think that it highlighted your features that well, so she wanted to put it back into the closet. Before she could turn away from you again though, the utter look of disbelief in your face caused her to halt her movements.  Maybe this wasn’t the right strategy to demonstrate you that she was more than just a cold tyrant... How could she make the same mistakes over and over again? Disappointed in herself, Mina sighed before turning to you in order to switch her strategy.
“Of course, you have a say in this. But...I would appreciate it very much if you’d let me take you out on a date. I know I’ve behaved like the biggest asshole in the past weeks and I’m really, really sorry about that. But I know that I can do better. I think I forgot how to function like a normal human being over the years while making the company my top priority. But I don’t want to live like that anymore. I want to make you my priority too. You have made me so happy in the past weeks and I want to make you happy in return too from now on.”
She explained, trying to take off the cold and unapproachable mask that she had gotten so used to wearing in the past years.
“And how is that supposed to work? I know how much this company means to you...”
You countered, sounding sad and angry at the same time.
“You’re right, it means a lot to me and I will not lie and tell you that I will be a prefect girlfriend. Because I won’t. I will spend a lot of time in the company and I will not give you the attention that you deserve at all time. But I promise that I will never let my work life interfere with my private life again like I did before. I allowed the board members to have way too much power over me. But I don’t care what they are saying. I have a right to be with the person I love and...that’s you.”
Once again, you looked like you had just seen a ghost and Mina sheepishly turned her gaze to the floor because she felt way too vulnerable right now to stand the silence that followed her confession.
“I really can’t believe you. I’ve never met someone who has that many mood swings. You confuse me!”
You huffed frustrated and Mina slouched her shoulders.
“I’ve just decided to wish you to hell and now you come around, being all cute again and making my heart flutter.”
Angrily, you crossed your arms, but your words gave Mina hope and she looked at you expectantly.
“One. I give you one more chance to change my mind.”
You held your pointer finger up in the air and Mina squealed in joy, but you nudged her chest threateningly, causing her to contain herself again.
“I’m serious Mina. If you treat me unfairly one more time or if I feel that you will always choose the company over me, I’ll quit for real.”
Mina instantly nodded in agreement, knowing that she was completely undeserving of this chance.
“I promise, I’ll be better.”
She whispered as tears were choking her up. This relationship was far too precious to her; she would make sure not to mess it up this time. Maybe it would still take her some time to let all her guards down, but she was willing to let you take the lead. Insecurely, she looked at you, waiting for you to make the next call, afraid that she might patronize you again.
“Come here...”
You sighed eventually while opening your arms and Mina didn’t waste a second before crashing her body into yours. A few tears of joy rolled down her cheeks as she buried her head in the crook of your neck and savored the feeling of comfort that instantly washed over her again.
She would make sure to repay you forever for your change of mind.

WORDS: 1.6+k
Writting this made me laugh at some parts pfftt. Anyway let's pretend that Far Away From Home was shooting during the time the boys were of age (forgot their age ngl 2 or 3 somewhere there)
Tumblr media
Tom woke up first, sensing something on his face. He opened his eyes and catch a small foot in front of him. In confusion, he turned and notice all of his children on his king-size bed. Slowly but gently, he removed the feet that belonged to Edward.
He got up and head to the kitchen. Preparing breakfast for the family. His girlfriend Y/N was on a press conference for her charity.
"So today, we are going on the set of Spiderman Far From Home. Um, I'm not really sure how I'm going to do that and take care of four children. I know Harrison said he will be there but... I'm scared" he said to the camera as he tries to flip the pancake.
"I actually tried hiring a babysitter, they only lasted a few hours. I think I had forgotten to tell them that there would be more than one kids. Anyway, Ed and Chase gave them hell so they all left." After flipping the pancakes, Tom separated them, one for each boy and three for him, with some whipped cream on them.
Finish fixing up breakfast, he goes to wake up the boys, seeing as they are on a time limit. When he got there, he saw Jake up, trying to wake up his brothers.
Tom smile and ruffle the boy's hair, "Morning bud, you slept well?" Jake gave him a toothy grin and nodded. Jake got up and jumped into Chase's body making the boy yell, which woke up Max.
"Get up" Chase got up and pushed Jake down the bed, the two starting a fight. Jake's leg accidentally kicked Ed in his face, making the boy cry. Tom pulled away Chase from Jake and grabbed Ed, trying to soothe his nose.
"Alright, alright, it was an accident okay? You're okay" Once the boy calmed down, he picked up Maxton and carried him to the kitchen, as his two other ducklings followed.
Chase and Jake climbed into their highchair while Tom put Ed and Max in there's. He grabbed the prepared plates and gave them it.
Tom sat down in front of them, trying to feed each of the boys, "Chase is the only one who could fully feed himself, so I have to help the others."
Max took a piece of pancake and gave it to Tom, when Tom saw what he was doing, he opened his mouth and let Max feed him.
"Thank you Max for sharing." Max smiled and nodded and continued eating. After the boys were finished, Tom took their plates and washed them.
When he was done, he went to get the boys dressed including himself.
They made it to the studio safely. Tom took out each boy and placed name tags on them. He took Chase hand's who was holding Ed, then Jake's then Max and walked towards the entrance.
"Pa where we at?" Questioned Ed as he looked around the building.
"Well, we're at my work. You get to see Ironman, Thor-"
"Do we get to see Batman?" Tom looked at Max as if he just asked the weirdest question. As he was going to answer, Ed beat him to it.
"No stupid, they have Captin America"
"Aye! Don't call your brother stupid!" Ed pouted but kept quiet. After checking in with security and handing the children their passes they were allowed to enter.
As they were walking, Tom felt something heavy on his foot. He looked down and noticed Maxton was on it, he let out a sigh and tried to get the boy off of him.
"Max let go, I need to walk"
"No"
"Max, come on buddy, I need my foot"
"No"
Tom huffed and bent down, then he grabbed the boy making him scream. He tried shaking the boy off his foot but he wouldn't move. Giving up, he grabbed back Chase's hand and dragged his right foot.
"Stay then. Bloody hell"
On his way to his trailer, he showed the boys all the objects that were on the walls, the posters, the banners, the pictures of people etc etc.
Tom had left the boys in the lounge area with his stylist, Rachael since she asked too. He was grateful for that, but what he didn't mention was that they were slippery. Literally.
The poor woman's attention was more focused on Jake and  Maxton fighting to get the last box of juice, that she didn't notice that both Ed and Chase were missing. Somehow, both boys ended up by the set where Tom was shooting his scene for Far Away Home.
They watch as 'Spiderman' fought Mysterio. Wanting to go help his father, Chase quickly took off his clothes and ran onto the set and started hitting Mysterio.
(I'm sorry I had to laugh at this scene pffttt)
"Someone's Kid is on set!" someone shouted
"Tom's!"
"Whoa! Hey hey! Get me down!" Tom yelled when he notices what's going on. Jake who was playing as Mysterio, 'fell' onto the ground yelling, "Argh! You got me! Man down!" Giggles and laughter could be heard around the seat.
After they got Tom down, he quickly grabbed his son, and shield him, "Mate, I get you're trying to save me and all but you need to keep your clothes on"
Chase smiled at his father, dimples on display. Tom couldn't hold in his laugh and just started bursting out. Jake got up from the ground and head over to the duo. "I guess we have a new spiderman?"
The director yelled for everyone to take a break, Tom, Chase and Jake head over to where Ed and Jacob were enjoying themselves at the buffet table.
"Ed, I thought I left you at Rachel's? Why didn't you stop your brother?"
"He's older" "Yes he is, but you know sometimes he acts like a div and you're stronger than him, so why didn't you?" "I saw food" Both  Jake and Jacob laughed at that while Tom let out a sigh. He picked up the other boy and carried them to who knows where. They spent a good few minutes looking for the other two Hollands. After giving him, Tom carried the two to the lounge area. Tom got irritated when he saw both Jake and Max sitting next to Zendaya and Angourie who was entertaining the two.
"You're shitting me right?" The four turned towards the voice, Max with his bag on his back and  Jake running up to their father's leg and hugging him.
"Daddy said a bad word" "Pay the cookie jar!" Both girls laughed at their friend, watching as his children scold him for cursing. Tom squeezed into the girls and sat on the couch. Noticing that his brother was nude, Max goes up to Tom and turned around. The said man opened the bag and took out some clothes.
While he was putting on the clothes on his eldest son, he kept mumbling about how 'what's with you and clothes?' and 'I will glue them onto you' or 'You have some issues with clothes'
Both girls found the whole scene to be entertaining considering the eldest son was fidgeting and feeling squirmish. Zendaya who had Max on her lap, played with the boy's hair while Angourie tickled Jake. Ed kept on enjoying his juice box.
After finishing dressing the boy, Tom took out a juice box from the bag and handed it to Chase. "Now keep your clothes on okay?" The boy nodded his head in return.
"So what's his issue with pants? Is it too tight or something?" Questioned Zendaya.
"No. He just doesn't like clothes for whatever reason. We're trying to break him out of it but it's hard. The lad just likes to keep his bits cool" "Tom never say that again please" "I'm just saying"
As he was going to say something else Rachel burst into the room panting and sweating, gasping for air. Quickly Tom got up and handed her a bottle of water while Zendaya rubs her back.
"Are you okay?" questioned Angourie. After calming herself down, Rachel turned to Tom and quickly started spurting out apologizes, "I-I'm sorry,  I got distracted by Max and Jake? I think and then I lost the other two and then I told the two that were with me to stay put but when I came back they were gone!"
"Rachel, love, it's alright. I forgot to explain hay they tend to wonder about so that's my fault. I shouldn't have given you four kids. They are a lot to handle" After trying to reassure the woman, he turned to his troublemakers who all gave him a cheeky smile.
"You should apologise for worrying Mrs Rachel."
"We're sorry" The woman nodded her head and left the room, feeling tired after all of the stunts that were pulled on her today.
Since Chase interrupted the scene, the director decided to call it a day and sent everyone home. After Tom changes out of his suit, he heads back to the lounge to pick up his troublesome children.
Once they got home, Tom took them to the shower, after doing that he dressed the boys into their nightwear with the extra stress from Chase.
Once they were out cold, Tom grabbed his phone and called his wife.
"Hey love"
"Hey, you sound tired, how was today?" He took his hand and rubbed his forehead. A minute had passed.
"It was alright until Max and Jake gave Rachel the slipped, then while I was shooting Chase ran onto the scene and started hitting Jake" "He what?!" "Oh! Not our Jake, I mean Jake Gyllenhaal" "Almost got me rilled up"
"Yeah no, we were shooting a scene and Chase thought I was being attacked so he started hitting Jake, it was cute and funny but it did give me the day off. I got them ice cream, so we had a good day, yeah"
"Well I'm glad you guys enjoy yourself" "Yeah.. I miss you. I'm going to bed alright?" "Sure, night, love you" "Love you too"
Tom hangs up the phone and heads to bed, as soon as he laid down, he heard yelling in the other room.
"You got to be pissing me!" He complained but head into the other room to try and get his trouble makers back to sleep.

E&T: The Price to Pay
Hello welcome back to actually whumping Erebus 💕 I missed his screams
←Previous - Masterlist - Next→
Ingredients: tooth whump, noncon body modification, noncon touching (unsexy)
Far too soon, Erebus found himself immobilized and staring up at Zander the rat once again. They’d let him keep his shirt on this time, but that wasn’t exactly reassuring as that made it much more likely that she was going to mess with his face or somewhere else that would be difficult to hide.
That is, if he ever even got the luxury of hiding the thing he was turning into.
Neteri came over, returning his wary gaze with a beaming smile. “How’s my favorite test subject?”
“I’m pretty sure I’m your only test subject.”
“Well, yeah, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love ya.” She ruffled his hair affectionately, and he hated that he was starting to like it when she touched him like that. “And even if I had other ones, you’d still be my favorite.”
“That so.”
“Yeah! You’re just so cute and well-behaved.”
“I-I’m just not stupid. I know fighting doesn’t do me any good. I’m not doing it for you or anything.”
“And that’s perfectly fine, as long as the end result is the same!” She gave his head one final pat before turning and putting her gloves on. “Now, let’s get started. This should be pretty quick and easy since we’re...going to take things a little more slowly. Well okay not slowly but just...sticking to my original plan. Which means starting with the simpler procedures and working our way up. In conclusion, today really won’t be anything too bad.” She patted his cheek. “Open up.”
“I still don’t-ahh.” Erebus was expecting her to gag him again, but he felt his stomach drop when she shoved the rubber block in between his teeth instead. If she wasn’t going to do something to his tongue again, that meant...she wasn’t going to mess with his teeth, was she?
She held up a pair of pliers, confirming his worst fears. His abject terror must have shown on his face, as she gave him a sympathetic look and squeezed his hand in her gloved one. “Just two, okay? I’ll be quick, I promise. And it’s either this or I give you a tail, which I assume you don’t want a tail.” Erebus tried to shake his head, because he most certainly did not want a tail, but the strap around his forehead prevented him from moving much. “Uh, thumbs up if you don’t want a tail and thumbs down if-wait no you can’t move your wrist.” She stared into space for a moment before coming to the solution Erebus had been thinking of from the beginning, which was pulling the rubber block out of his mouth so he could speak.
“No, I don’t want a tail,” he said tiredly. “I really don’t want you to...to pull my teeth either, but if I had to pick between the two...I’d really rather not have a tail.”
“You sure? It would be a cool tail. Venomous.”
“I am now even more sure that I absolutely do not want it.”
“You’re no fun.” She shoved the block back in, and Erebus found himself a little bit calmer, because at least he sort of chose this. Not that he in any way consented to what she was about to do to him, but he preferred it over the alternative, which was guaranteed to make him feel completely inhuman. He squeezed his eyes shut and tried to steady his breathing as she started to move towards his mouth.
The sensation of the pliers against his tooth was...unpleasant, to say the least. The cold, hard metal scraped against it, sending horrific echoes through his skull. His heart started beating even faster as their grip tightened and he felt her start to pull. Was she even strong enough to do this oh Drottkia there was so much pressure building up but he knew once it gave it would-
Hurt like hell, lighting up his entire face with agony oh it felt like someone had stabbed the spot his tooth used to be with a molten nail and he tried not to scream he really did there was blood dripping down into the back of his throat and already something cold and wet was pressing into the tender flesh around the hole she’d just made it was so cold and one, two, three now it was itching, burning, agonizingly white-hot and there was nothing, nothing else besides anguish as the foreign tooth wormed its way in.
At some point after the pain mostly died out, Neteri removed the block, allowing him to relax his jaw. He tried to catch his breath as he did so, his throat already raw from screaming. Hesitantly, he moved his tongue towards the new tooth, foolishly hoping it wasn’t-it was.
A fang. A long, sharp fang. He had a fang.
And in a few minutes, he was getting another one.
“You did so well, bud, halfway done,” Neteri reassured as she gently wiped some of the blood from around his mouth. “Can you bite together for me?” He begrudgingly did so, resisting the pointless urge to bite her as she examined the new tooth. It hadn’t aligned quite right, and it took a few tries for her to get it right, each time involving her painfully twisting it with the pliers.
When Erebus’s upper and lower jaws finally fit together properly, she shoved the block back in and gripped his remaining canine with the pliers. He hoped he’d never have to feel pliers in his mouth after today, they were so hard and cold and-hurt hurt hurt they hurt so much pulling pulling the pressure’s building up again I want this over with but I’m scared to feel that pain again but you chose it and you deserve it because you failed so endure it even as the agony stabs you in the skull even as you can’t stop screaming even as the magic burns and forces another fang into your mouth you have to endure because it’s all you can do anymore endure it endure it endure it
Thankfully, the second tooth didn’t need as much adjusting as the first, and soon enough Erebus found himself breathing a sigh of relief that at least the pain was over, even if the effects of what had just happened would be with him forever. Neteri patted him and praised him before calling in the guards, saying she’d come by his cell to check on him once she got everything cleaned up.
Back in the cell, Erebus stood in front of the mirror, as had become his weird sort of ritual after a procedure. The blood around his mouth was something he’d seen before, but as for what was inside...he knew they were there, he could feel them in there. A part of him knew, though, that once he saw them, there was no going back. He took a deep breath and opened his mouth.
The fangs were so, so apparent. They were noticeably longer than the teeth that had been there before had been, even if they weren’t as long as he had originally feared, but they looked as sharp as they felt. Once again, he couldn’t help but feel like he was some sort of monster, since he was certainly starting to look the part. He closed his jaw, hesitantly pulling his lips back into a smile-and oh, oh, that was horrific, no, no, absolutely no one would ever see that without wanting to run for their life. Maybe it was for the best that he never felt like smiling much these days.
When Neteri came in a few minutes later, Erebus was laying on his bed, curled around his pillow as he stared blankly ahead. She crouched in front of him, head cocked to the side. “Your mouth doesn’t hurt, does it?”
“No, it’s fi-ow.” In trying to say that he felt physically alright, he’d accidentally nicked his lower lip.
“Aw, poor thing,” Neteri chuckled sympathetically, reaching up and healing the little puncture with a tap of her finger and a spark of magic. “You’ll get used to them eventually.” Erebus elected not to respond, simply looking away. Why did she think she was in any position to feel sorry for him when she was the one causing him all this pain in the first place? And for what? He didn’t move as she stood up, but he was startled when she gently scooped up his head, sitting down in the spot where it had been before letting it drop back down. Onto her lap.
He panicked slightly, trying to sit up, but she held him down. “It’s alright, Erebus. Just lie still.” He opened his mouth to protest, but how was he supposed to explain that he didn’t want to be comforted this way, that he didn’t want to associate this feeling with her, that this was something only his mother (and Lythia, on a couple wonderful occasions) had done with him? Thoughts of both of them, of his life before all this, of his home, started to overwhelm him, and before he knew it he was crying. Again.
Neteri didn’t say a word, simply stroking his hair and rubbing his back as he clutched the pillow and sobbed about anything and everything. He missed his father and his home and his bed and his friends and the palace gardens and his freedom and having control over his own body and not being chained up all the time and how, how could Neteri act like she cared about him while she was cutting him into pieces he wished she would just stop because part of him was starting to like her and want her to do things like stroke his hair and that was wrong he shouldn’t like the person who-who owned him because he was owned he was he knew it deep down and he’d never admit it but it was true and he hated it and he wished he could hate her and he didn’t see how things would ever, ever be okay again and he was powerless to do anything but cry as the woman who was keeping him captive imitated the love of people he’d never see again.
At some point after he started to calm down, he felt one of Neteri’s hands leave him and opened his eyes to see that she was holding something in front of his face. “Here, I found this when I was going through my bag the other day. Did you want to keep it?” she said as she held out a light blue ribbon, the one she’d pulled out of his hair before cutting it off. The ribbon that had belonged to his mother. He quickly snatched it up and held it close to his chest, afraid of losing it again.
“Thanks,” Erebus said quietly, rubbing the familiar silk between his fingers. It really did mean a lot to him to have this little piece of his old life, even if his hair was nowhere near long enough to tie it in.
“Of course.” She stroked his hair a few more times before giving him a final pat and sliding out from underneath his head. He sat up and wiped the last few tears out of his eyes, not even flinching when her hand slid under his chin and tilted it up slightly. “Erebus, I just want you to know that if you ever want to talk about anything, you can just let me know, alright? I understand if you don’t want to, given, uh,” her other hand poked at the tag attached to his collar, “but if you do...I’m here, okay?” He just nodded, despite the fact that he sincerely doubted he’d ever take her up on that offer. Accepting comfort like he’d just done was bad enough.
After Neteri left, Erebus looked down at the ribbon, wondering what he should do with it. The thought of tying it to his collar crossed his mind, but he decided against it. He didn’t want something his mother had touched anywhere near that awful thing. His wrist, then? Not his right one, not on that foreign arm that he still hadn’t had any luck in transforming. He settled on his left wrist, tying it rather sloppily since he could only use one hand to make the knot.
Looking at it, thinking of everything he’d lost, Erebus realized that despite everything, despite how miserable he was, despite how much he wanted to escape this place, he still didn’t want to die. He didn’t know if it was hope that things would get better, fear of death, or something else entirely, but he realized that he wanted to live. He wanted to survive.
And if he needed to accept Neteri’s comfort every so often in order to keep himself sane, then so be it.

“¿Qué paso?”, he repeated, dashing his way over to you.
You opened your mouth but the only thing you managed to choke out was a loud sob. Protesting, aching muscles as you launched yourself into his arms, knees buckling as he grabbed a hold of you, entire body shaking with pent-up fear and emotion. He clung onto you, slowly sliding down the door to sit on the floor, keeping you pressed against his chest. Your cries sounded almost like screams, the intensity of it all causing Javier’s heart to go in a frenzy of trepidation and alarm. He’d never seen you like this, he knew what you were like when you were shaken or anxious, and this was anything but that. You were fucking hysterical, the way you ripped at the fabric of his shit not lost on him.
He stared straight ahead of him as he just held you, not bothering to say anything or try to touch you. It was best to let it all out now and God-fucking-damn was he happy he was here. When you hadn’t called him even once today, he grew a little worried, though not enough to do anything about it. It wasn’t until he’d talked to Steve about it, who revealed what had previously gone down in your childhood home, that he grew worried. By the time he’d gotten home from work, which was rather late, you still hadn’t called him. It was then Javier decided to call the hotel and after some light blackmailing the receptionist informed him that you’d left a couple hours ago. He’d fucking ran out of his apartment, not bothering to even tempt the hell that was evening traffic as he just sprinted through the familiar streets. By the time he was in front of your door, out of breath and soaked in sweat, it was about half past eleven. He knew there was a late flight and that you could be coming home any minute, so he decided to call Connie and Steve, informing them about what he’d discovered. They’d promised to call him if you showed up at their door, but just as he hung up the phone, disappearing in the bathroom to wash the sweat off of his face, he’d heard you come in.
The poor man’s heart had crumbled at the sight. You were hunched over, eyes completely void of their usual light and joy, shirt torn and stretched out jeans not looking any better. Whether you’d been snatched by your father or a sicario was unclear to him – hell what happened was a complete fucking mystery. As your wailing diminished in volume and intensity, he carefully started scanning your face, scolding himself for not just being able to read you.
A black eye had begun to form, bottom lip busted and you had some smaller scratches scattered across the rest of your face. Your nose seemed to be somewhat askew as well, though that might’ve just been the lighting or even his paranoia. It was hard for him to be calm, anger and frustration fighting his self-discipline for the upper hand. But he wouldn’t allow it, you needed him to be there, you needed your Javi, not the vengeful, bloodthirsty agent. So he closed his eyes, pressing a tender kiss to the crown of your head as he counted to ten, taking a set of essential, deep breaths.
When the sobbing died down to sniffles and silent tears he slowly started to move, standing up with you in his arms. You were limp in his arms even though you were fully conscious and aware of your surroundings. He laid you down in the bed, slowly unlacing your tennis shoes as you looked up at the ceiling. You were usually very talkative so your lack of babbling was incredibly unsettling to Javier.
“I’m gonna take these clothes off, okay?”, he softly announced, searching you for any sign of protest.
He slowly got you out of your ripped jeans, shirt and underwear, only leaving the room to throw them into your laundry bin. While he was in the bathroom he wet a washcloth and grabbed a towel to help you wash up. As he sat back down next to you, he put a hand on your knee, to let you know that he was right there with you.
“Stop me if it hurts too much”, he whispered as he started dragging the cloth over your face.
You were still looking up at the ceiling, hands fisted in the sheets. Painfully aware of every sore spot as Javier carefully cleansed your skin. A hand found its way to your abdomen, slowly resting on the warm skin there, preventing him from touching you there.
He understood the message and left it alone, finishing up on your legs before chasing the wet skin with the soft towel. The chances of you speaking up about it tonight were low to non-existent, even he could figure that out for himself. So he decided to just help you into a fresh pair of underwear and a t-shirt, sliding the covers over your still form when he finished.
“I’ll be right with you baby, I’m just gonna give Murphy a call”, he promised, sat on his knees beside the bed. “If you need anything, just shout.”
When he left the bedroom he felt like screaming. He was fucking angry, enraged, livid. Who in their right mind would hurt his girl.. he wanted – needed answers. That’s when he dialled his best mate’s number, no matter the hour, he needed to figure this shit out, right this instant.
A groan was heard from the other side of the line, followed by some shuffling. “Murphy.”
“She’s in bed, battered and bruised”, Javi stated, voice completely monotone.
“Shit – do you need me to come over?”, Steve replied, sounding more awake already.
Javier rested a hand against his forehead. “I need some of my stuff, I’m staying with her but I don’t want to leave her alone.”
“Yeah, yeah, of course, I got that spare key around here somewhere. Fucking hell Peña… did she say anything?”
He sighed into the horn, feeling completely drained of any energy. “Not a single word, she was hysteric.”
“And the baby?”, he asked, tone changing.
“I-I don’t know.. didn’t really see any bruising but I don’t know.”
There was some more shuffling on the other end, the sound of metal hitting the floor. “I’ll be there in thirty.”
Hanging the phone back on the wall, he leaned over to glance into the room. You were still there, facing the door, eyes closed. He came back into the room, trying his best not to make any noise. As he got closer he could tell you were asleep, hands clutching onto the pillow next to yours, the one he slept on. He heaved another sigh, not entirely sure what to do now. He didn’t want to lay down next to you, reeking of sweat and knowing Murphy would be here soon. So he headed back into the other room, making his way over to the kitchen. Fuck he wanted a smoke, you probably had a pack around here somewhere. He started a frantic search, the urge to soothe the tension and panic growing stronger every passing moment. And there it was, a half empty pack of neatly rolled cigarettes, stowed away behind an empty cookie jar. He pulled the lighter from his back pocket, hands shaking with anticipation. The first drag felt like pure elation, so much so that he moaned at the sensation, his free hand tangling in his matted hair.
“Fuck baby, you’re breaking my heart”, he muttered with his eyes closed, bud pursed in-between his lips.
As soon as the smoke started curling towards the bedroom he stepped away from it, opening the windows in the living room. He smoked two more cigarettes and got your bag up off the floor before Steve arrived. The familiar knock making Javier jolt out of his slumber-like state. He opened the door, an overnight bag immediately pushed into his hands.
“She in there?”, Steve asked, already making too much noise for his liking.
“Yeah”, he put the duffel bag on the couch, “but keep it down.”
Steve rubbed a hand over his moustache, glancing into the room from where he stood. “Hysteric you said?”
“She was fucking weeping man”, he spat, lighting a fourth cigarette.
“Her dad?”, his friend asked, helping himself to a cig as well.
Javier let his head drop as he took a deep breath. “I don’t know, she’s been dead silent. Has he done this before? Is there a case against him in the States?”
“Not that I know of.. her mother just sorta made her promise never to get authorities involved, saying he’s still her dad and shit.”
“Bull fucking shit, a father doesn’t throw hands like that. You should’ve seen the state of her, jeans ripped to shreds, lip fucking busted open.. fucking repulsive.”
Steve put a hand on his shoulder, quirking an eyebrow towards the bedroom. “Watch the voice Javi, let’s just go outside.”
He shook his head, extinguishing the cigarette in the sink. “I wanna be here if she wakes up.”
“I understand, let’s just sit down, you need to settle down”, the blonde offered. “Let’s just have a beer and talk things through, yeah?”
The two men sat on the couch and shared a couple of drinks, talking everything over. When you were ready to talk they’d listen to you and if you’d be willing to file a case, then they’d fucking handle it for you. Steve had brought up the baby again, suggesting Javier take you to a hospital and get your injuries noted down. Javier had confided in Steve about how scared he’d been, frantic upon hearing you’d left the hotel. He’d listened to him, reassuring him you were a strong and smart woman and that you’d tell him if something was wrong. Furthermore Steve had promised to handle things at the embassy the next day, ensuring your boyfriend could stay with you all day. Javier had gratefully agreed, not wanting to so much as set a foot out of your apartment until you’d tell him you were okay.
“I should head back for the night, Con doesn’t like sleeping alone.”
He followed him to the door, clapping him on the back as he reached for the door handle. “Thanks, Steve, I appreciate it.”
“Just do us all a favour and take a shower, you fucking stink”, Steve teased, shaking his partner’s hand. With that he left the small apartment.
“Pendejo.”
But he was right. The bathroom sink and a hand-towel would have to do for now, the shower way too noisy at this hour. He slipped into a fresh pair of briefs, putting some cologne on before joining you in the bed. Your hand was still on his pillow, so he carefully pried it off, holding it in his as he scooted closer towards you.
When you came to a couple hours later, all you could smell was him, your face nestled in the crook of his neck, a warm palm resting on your neck. By the light pouring in from the windows you could tell it was morning, but you felt completely exhausted still. As your brain slowly woke up as well you felt the way your body started quivering again. The man beneath you groaned lowly, nudging his chin against the top of your head as he changed positions. The more you focused on trying to make the trembling stop the worse it got, to a point where you just started crying out of frustration. Javier was quick to notice, rolling over onto his side, covering your body with his, ready to shield you from any harm. When he noticed what was going on he just laid back down, pulling you on top of him and securing you in a loving, comforting hold.
“S’okay, I gotchu, nothing’s gonna hurt you here”, he murmured into your hair.
The shaking got less and less severe the longer he held you, lips pressed to your forehead. You felt like you could finally breathe again, as if the heaviness within your chest had finally lifted, so that’s what you did. Javier’s ears perked out as he heard the shuddering breath.
“Need some fresh air?”
You looked up at him, eyes meeting his for the first time in ages. It took your breath away, suddenly very aware of your surroundings and what had occurred last night. The words left your lips before you could even comprehend it: “I love you.”
His eyes went wide with shock. “W-what?” It wasn’t that he hadn’t heard you, he just didn’t understand it. Well, he understood the semantic meaning of the phrase but he didn’t understand why you said it.. to him.. like now or at all. “Wait- shit, are you sure?”
It was your turn to just stare at him, not comprehending the situation yourself. “Huh?”
“I’m gonna kiss you, yeah?”
You closed your eyes, letting his lips slowly hit the space above your upper lip, strategically avoiding the injured one.
“Did you hit your head or something”, he softly joked, thumb tracing the outline of your cheek.
The tiniest smile formed on your lips, fingers lacing with his. “Thank you for being here.”
“Are you feeling up to eat something?”
You just nodded, not finding the energy to do much more. He got out of the bed, walking over to your side to help you stand. You braced your hands on his chest, forehead resting on his sternum. It wasn’t that you needed the support, you’d be fine walking on your own, you just wanted to be close to him a little longer.
“I-I’m scared”, you blurted out.
“Hmm?”, he questioned, tilting your chin up to look into your eyes.
“The baby- I-I haven’t felt… pregnant.. What if-“
He put a finger over your lips, encouraging you to stop talking. “We’ll go see a doctor after you’ve eaten something, I promise.”
You let out a shaky breath before cupping his jaw, giving him a half smile before walking out of your bedroom. The fact that he was here was beyond your comprehension. This was all you ever wanted and yet you couldn’t find it within yourself to be happy about it, the gnawing feeling of knowing the baby might not be okay eating away at you.
After the two of you had eaten a small breakfast he drove you to the clinic as promised, his hand laced with yours the entire ride. He didn’t ask questions, instead respected your silence and didn’t push on it. His aviators rested on your nose, preventing the early sun from blinding you as you drove through the bustling streets of Bogotá.
“You want me to come with you?”, he asked, eyes squinted at the bright sunrays.
“Uh yeah, if you don’t mind..”, you shyly answered, raising a hand towards the window to provide some shade.
He pulled on the handbrake, turning his head to look at you. “I’ll only be there if you want me there, corazon.”
The hospital was rather calm, aside from some emergency patients being rolled in. Javier had flashed them the good ole’ DEA badge, making you somewhat of a priority patient. He insisted you get some scans and x-rays done first, wanting to make sure none of the bruising and swelling was anything serious. Afterwards the two of you were put into a waiting room together, him with a coffee in his hands and you with your head on his shoulder, resting your eyes just a little while longer.
“Peña”, someone announced. Javi gave a nod, and the two of you followed a man into yet another room. “I hear baby needs a check-up too?”
“Uh yeah, we’re just a little worried”, he told the doctor, a protective hand on the small of your back.
The doctor gestured for you to take a seat in the medical chair, wheeling a cart carrying various equipment closer to it. “Well let’s have a quick look then. You can take a seat next to your wife.”
Javi sat down in the chair next to yours, giving your shoulder a reassuring squeeze as the doctor lifted your shirt. The gel was absolutely freezing, making you huff out an awkward chuckle. The applicator slid over your skin, the doctor trying to locate your baby as you looked over at Javier, who seemed to be entranced by it all. His brows were furrowed as he closely watched the doctor’s every movement, ready to step in if needed.
“There we go”, you both looked up at the screen, “baby looks good so far.”
“N-no complications?”, you squeaked out.
The doctor smiled at the two of you, flipping a switch on the cart to let the two of you hear a thumping sound. “Heartbeat is perfectly normal as well.”
You covered your eyes, letting out a sob as you listened to the rhythmic pulse. Javier was right there with you, eyes glossy with unshed tears. There was something so strange about it all, the stress and tension of the previous weeks suddenly just disappearing. It was peaceful, a moment nobody could intrude on or steal away. That was his baby right there, on that small screen. This was it, his everything, the woman he loved and the baby he never knew he wanted- needed. The doctor had stepped out, muttering something about giving you some time alone.
“I-I love you”, Javier expressed, bringing your free hand up to his lips and he’d never meant it more.
You dragged him down to you, crashing your sore lips on his. When you broke apart you wiped one of your tears off his face, slowly chuckling to yourself. “Te quiero Javi.”
After your ultrasound finished up you got your results and when you were told there was nothing to worry about, the two of you set out on your way back to your apartment. Along the way you’d discussed filing for a restraining order and Javier had swerved the car back around, heading straight for the embassy.
“I-I don’t know if I should go inside”, you protested, suddenly feeling very nervous and self-aware.
“You’ll be fine, amor, it’s lunchtime anyway”, he assured you, pulling the keys from the engine.
You trailed behind him, clutching onto his hand as you walked into the building, looking down at the floor to avoid any and all stares. He swiftly pulled you into your shared office, where Steve sat in his chair, feet propped onto his desk. He promptly extinguished the cigarette in the ashtray on his desk, standing up to walk over to the two of you.
“I’m gonna start a case”, you announced, engulfing your friend in a lingering hug.
He patted your back, closing his eyes as he squeezed you a bit tighter. “I’m so proud of you, girly. We’ll get through this.”
The guys helped you set up your defence, Javi eventually taking one of the polaroid cameras to capture the evidence. He had you strip down to your undergarments, fixing the lighting to make sure the bruises and scratches were plenty visible. When he’d gathered images of your body be eventually got started on photographing your face, tilting your chin and adjusting his angles every so often. Steve had walked in, when you were once again fully dressed, staring into the lens.
“I take it baby’s good then?”, he asked, examining some of the developed polaroids.
“Yeah, don’t need to go back for another four weeks”, you’d replied, not wanting to overshare in the moment.
“This a maternity shoot or what?”, he joked, noticing the effort his colleague was putting in.
Javier put the camera down, ignoring Steve’s joke as he neatly stowed the images away in a brown envelope. “Let’s get some statements and then we can send this shit in.”
“Are you sure you want to be here for this?”, Steve asked so only him and Javi could hear.
“I need to know what that scumbag did to her.”
The blonde sighed, shaking his head: “This is about her, yeah? So keep your cool.”
He hit his partner on the head with the envelope. “I’ll go get the tape-recorder.”
You told the story just as it happened, sparing them no details. The urge to just get up and leave was there, but you wanted this all to done and dealt with. So you bit your tongue, answering Murphy’s questions one by one, taking five minute breaks after the really tough ones. By the end of it you were just about ready to get the fuck out of there.
“You got a good lawyer back home, in case he takes it to court?”
You looked up at Steve, lips pursed into a thin line as you impatiently tapped your fingertips against the table. “I’ve got some ideas, yeah. But if we’re done I’d really like to go home, I’m fucking bushed.”
He got up off his chair, stowing your signature and tape into the envelope containing the pictures. “’Course, you coming in on Monday then or?”
“Well I technically still have another week off, but I’ll see, I’ll give Con a call.”
“C’mon let’s go”, Javier intercepted, a hand on your upper back.
Once out of earshot you leaned into his side, whispering: “What was that about?”
“I want you all to myself tonight, amor, tonight is all about you.”

Muddy Rain Part 3
To the person who requested a Part 3, I am doing yours for Part 4 because I already had this one half written when I got your request. Thank you for that, I will get it done within the next few days.
@shydragonrider Thank you for the nice tags in the reblog, here is your Part 3.
Part 1, Part 2
Warnings: feverish character, tylenol, delirium, hallucinations, implied family member's death (from hallucination), but really its all fluff
*not edited*
~
Hero woke with a jolt, instinctively pushing away from the body below her. She didn't realize that she had fallen asleep on Supervillain, but the still figure, other than the rise and fall of his chest, didn't seem to mind.
But still, as much as her body screamed at her to get comfortable and go back to sleep, she stood up and went to grab the thermometer.
She carefully dropped Supervillain's limp jaw and slipped the end of it under his tongue. His eyes flickered open for a moment, before rolling backwards again, head drooping towards the side.
Hero followed his movement, still holding the thermometer steady until it beeped, long and foreboding.
104.
Oh crap.
Hero rushed towards the medicine cabinet and grabbed a bottle of tylenol, shook a couple pills out, and ran back to Supervillain. She coaxed the pills into his mouth, rousing him slightly, and rinsed them down with some water.
He was completely out again before the last bit of water seeped down his throat. Hero had to rub the front of his throat to make sure he didn't choke.
When that feat was done, she carefully laid Supervillain's head on the pillow and stroked his bangs out of his face. She sighed and cupped his boiling cheek. Poor guy, so sick and miserable.
She took some more damp cloths and wiped the sweat of his face, gingerly like a cat grooming its kitten. Supervillain let out a weak groan, fingers twitching though Hero couldn't help but assume that it was due to him enjoying the relief.
"Okay bud," Hero cooed, shaking his shoulder to wake him. "Try to wake up for me, okay? I'm going to reheat some soup I made yesterday."
Supervillain's eyes blearily blinked open as his forehead crunched together in contemplation. He looked up at Hero, dazed beyond comprehension. She pondered whether or not it would be safe to feed him, but then remembered how dehydrated and starved he was when she found him.
So she sat Supervillain up, propped him with a stack of pillows, and gently tapped his cheek for fever dragged him back under once again.
"Come on," Hero begged silently, waiting for his eyes to open, but between restless sleep and her consist prodding, he was too exhausted to do much.
"Okay," she sighed and defeat and went to reheat the thick broth she made on the stove.
After ten minutes, she returned with the liquid, steaming and warm, and once again tried to wake Supervillain.
She prevailed, his glassy eyes cracking open, though his head flopped to the side completely limp like a ragdoll. She smiled and hopped into bed, tucking herself behind his body and wrapping her arms around his body. He instantly fell back into her, head lolling uselessly on her shoulder. He was getting worse by the second.
Hero grabbed the bowl in one hand and carefully spooned the chicken flavored broth- not that Supervillain had the ability to taste- into his ill striken mouth. He weakly gurgled, choking ever so slightly, as half-lidded eyes widened in panic.
"It's okay, shh," Hero purred, tipping Supervillain's head backwards to help him swallow. His muscles complied, but that simple, instinctual movement seemed to take all the gumption out of him.
"Again," Hero ordered in a sweet voice. He moaned, complained and protested in the smallest way, but parted his lips.
"Good boy," Hero delicately rubbed his good shoulder. He sighed and leaned deeper into her embrace.
Hero smiled and put the bowl to the side, content that he ate at least something, no matter how miniscule it was.
"M-mom," Supervillain suddenly croaked. Hero looked down at his wet head. "Mom," he cried louder, chest shuddering.
"Yeah, yeah honey," Hero replied, playing along with his little fantasy his delirious mind was making up.
Supervillain sniffled. "I-i am scared," he whimpered. "I don't want the doctor."
Hero furrowed her eyebrows, unsure of what to say, so she just said, "Don't worry, everything will be okay."
But would it?
"Will it hurt?" He asked softly, trying his hardest to look up at Hero.
"Will what?" Hero inquired.
"Stitches," he whispered. "Mommy?"
"Yes?"
"Could you sing for me?" Supervillain rasped. "Our song."
Oh uh...
"Can you remind me which one?" Hero asked, desperately hoping that she knew the song.
"The Duck Song," Supervillain murmured. "Please."
Hero stifled a chuckle, imagining how old Supervillain thought he was currently. But, her ward's requests couldn't be ignored, so Hero, very softly sang The Duck Song.
"The duck walked up to the lemonade stand, and he said to the man running the stand. Hey! Bum, bum, bum... have any grapes?"
By the time she sang the first few sentences, Supervillain was already drifting off again. But before he completely fell back into his feverish slumber, he whimpered,
"Please don't leave me Mom. Please."
Tears welled up in Hero's eyes. She grabbed his cold hands and squeezed them until they warmed up.
"It'll all be okay hun," Hero whispered as she fell back against the pillows, hugging the unconscious supervillain tightly, but not too tightly to avoid irritating his broken ribs.
Eventually Hero also fell asleep as well, soothed to sleep by Supervillain's slow and deep breathing.

Maybe a what if that MK was the one that born premature?
Ah was the role swap au of the son of the monkeys. XD it also Macaque's turn yo)
The six eared monkey king looked himself over. Thanking the gods he had white fur, it made it slightly easier for him to see himself in the dark. His right leg was cut pretty bad but other than that for the most part he seemed fine. He took a deep breath to calm himself and listen.
Not only to try and find an exit but also to the little one's heartbeat. He could only imagine how scared they must have gotten from that whole mess. That was the last time he let Red son get him off the ship.
He was slightly concerned about the baby's heartbeat as it was rather fast. The monkey gently paced his hand on his bump and softly said,"it's alright little sun you're alright, we're going to be alright-"
A strong pain then hit Macaque, oh no, that wasn't good. Not now, they weren't ready and neither was he! He couldn't even walk to the exit.Fuck!
Maybe he could limp? Dammit he had to try to get to the exit. He groaned as he pushed himself up and leaned on the cave wall for balance.
"you're going to be just like your daddy I can already- ack- hm consider it a compliment." Macaque mumbled as he limped forward. It was hard to figure out how much pain was his leg and how was contractions. He continued to limp towards the exit.
He was so close, so close to the exit when he couldn't limp anymore and crashed to the ground. Thankfully not on his stomach because of a quick spin. Yes the rock hurt his back by baby was at least safe from a broken neck. He huffed as he closed his eyes for a moment. He was so close to the exit it was 5 maybe ten minutes away but he just couldn't move anymore.
"Plum!" A voice screamed out desperately behind him, it was Wukong. Thank the gods it was Wukong! Macaque ignore the wetness as he tried to push himself up.
"I'm over here keep running straight!!" Macaque yelled with the air he had in his lungs before collapsing back to the ground. He was heaving at this point fighting instinct. He just needed Wukong here first if that was all he was going to get. They could wait for Wukong.
"plum! Plum I'm here I'm here what's wrong" Wukong asked, as expected it only took him a few seconds. He was about to pick macaque up when the monkey king had to stop him.
"it's the ba- ah gods- baby they're coming now" Macaque said as he laid his head on the other's collarbone. Wukong panicked and glanced around them on his knees. He kissed Macaque's forehead.
"I uh I- fuck um okay. Shit I wasn't expecting that to happen this early. What do you want me to do?" Wukong asked as he let macaque get semi comfortable leaning on him.
"pants off" macaque said as he took a deep breath in. Wukong did as told having a clone take Macaque's pants off. Macaque buried his face in Wukong's chest as he began to push and cry out in pain.
After a few minutes of pushing, Macaque was exhausted and he wasn't doing well. He could hear the babe's weak crying now. Wukong put him down for a minute to handle the babe. Wrapping the baby up in his jacket before placing the tiny babe on macaque.
"just stay with me okay?" Wukong said as Macaque weakly wrapped his arms around their little Xiaotain. Wukong picked them up as things got blurry for Macaque,"both of you just stay here with me."
---
"hey..." Shanyao said as he picked in to the room. His heart in pieces as he saw Macaque and Xiaotain's conditions. He was shaking as Wukong lifted up his head and turned to Shanyao.
His oldest son, who stood there shaking like a leaf and struggling not to cry. Wukong's eyes softened as he got up and walked over to the cracked door. He slipped out into the hallway with Shanyao, closing the door behind him.
"hey bud what's up" Wukong said with his hands in his pockets.
"I thought you'd want to know " Shanyao said as he wiped his eyes," Mei got her parents to help them"
"how'd you do that Kid?" Wukong asked softly as he watched the poor kid try not to cry his eyes out.
"she told them we were engaged so you know they'd be family" Shanyao said as he took a deep breath in to calm himself," we can both go with them"
"okay bud come here" Wukong said before pulling Shanyao into a hug,"you go get some stuff packed for me and your Baba okay I'll keep an eye on them okay?"
"okay"

my babies - b.boeser
Tumblr media
requested [] yes [x] no
a/n: shoutout to @jmaybanks hyping me up about this fic 💖
Brock sighed down at the fussy two month old, beginning to run out of ideas in what to do to soothe his own son. He’d fed him, he’d changed him more than once, he burped bim, he tried going for a walk, but nothing was working, he knew his son, Niko, was overly tired and had to go down for a nap, but he just simply refused to cooperate for his poor dad. In cases like this, you’d normally take Niko and magically calm him with your “amazing mommy powers” as Brock called them, but you see, you weren’t home, you were over an hour away at the hospital with your family, standing beside your grandmothers bedside and praying for a miracle. Brock wanted to be there for you of course, but someone had to stay and take care of Niko and he was still so young that you personally refused to let anyone other than the two of you to be alone with him for this long. You’d left your fiancé between a rock and a hard place. His phone rang, thankfully on silent so it kept Niko from completely freaking out again, Brock was scared to answer the phone, it was you, and he was afraid for whatever news was going to come from this phone call, he loved your family quite honestly as much as you did, and your grandma was no exception, if anything, she was his favorite, the one who really got through to your dad about giving Brock a chance, and now the two of them were best buds. “Hey, baby.” He spoke softly, you let out a shaky breath at the sound of his voice, “how’s Niko?” You asked, needing a moment to collect yourself. “He’s finally going to sleep, you wanna see him?” Brock whispered, already knowing the answer as he pulled the phone away and switched to a FaceTime call.
You held the phone out so you could see your two boys, Niko curled up on Brock’s bare chest, skin to skin still his favorite thing to do. “I miss you guys.” You whimpered, unable to contain the emotions anymore, your parents had stepped out to give you a minute alone with your grandma, and you thought it was only fair you called Brock so he could say goodbye as well. “We miss you too, mama.” He mumbled, moving the phone to show him, “uh, so I wanted to call so you could talk to her one more time.” You managed to whisper out, his eyes widening for a moment, but softening and putting on the tough exterior that wasn’t all that tough as his eyes watered from the sight of you and the thought of what he was about to do, “alright.” He managed to get out, you moved to be right up beside the bed, “her English has been really bad lately, so I’ll translate if I have too.” You spoke softly, holding the phone so she could see Brock who plastered a smile on his face, a fake one of course, but it was real in the intent of making your grandma feel better. “Hi, nonna.” Brock spoke, the way he adapted to her needs always made your heart skip a beat, “come stanno i miei bambini?” (How are my babies) you chuckled at her words, she always referred to Brock as her baby, the grandson she never had so once you had Niko she simply changed it to babies. “She’s asking how her babies are.” You told him with a soft laugh, having to find the happiness in the situation, “we’re good, Niko says he loves you.” Brock answered her, she understood what he was saying and she smiled, barely able to keep her eyes open. “I love you too.” He added quickly, needing to squeeze it in before she fell into another stretch of long sleep. You’d already said everything you had to say to her, “I’m gonna come home soon, I think, I don’t think I can sit here any longer and watch her like this.” You spoke setting the phone down for a second so you could pull the blanket up to her shoulders, seeing the way she shivered lightly, you left a lingering kiss to her forehead. “Ti amo nonna, mi mancherai.” (I love you grandma, I’ll miss you) you whispered, biting your lip as you wiped at your tears. “Are you sure? I don’t want you to regret leaving before something happens.” Brock spoke softly, not wanting to irritate you, “I’m sure.” You snapped unintentionally, you were just so tired of that question, she won’t be the first family member you’ve lost, and you couldn’t stand to see this any longer, you just wanted to go home and cry on your fiancé’s chest while you looked at your sweet baby boy who held all the innocence in the world. “I’m sorry, Brock, I didn’t mean to.” You apologized instantly, you held the phone back out in front of you, he was looking at you with that look, the one that said don’t push me away, I’m doing my best here. “It’s alright, baby, if you want to come home, then come home, we’ll be here waiting for you.”
The drive home should’ve been only an hour, but two hours later you were finally pulling into your driveway, the weather having caused traffic, then an accident on the highway made you get redirected which ended up taking longer than staying on the original route. You walked into the house, despite the puffiness in your eyes, and the dried tear stains on your cheeks, a smile covered your lips as you heard Brock singing along to the nursery rhyme music playing in the living room. You didn’t say anything as he clearly didn’t hear you walk in, but coolie and milo decided to ruin your sneak attack when they jumped up. “Hi my babies.” You cooed, their tails swinging rapidly. “Oh, you’re home.” Brock called, you heard his feet approaching, you looked up to be greeted by a slightly tired looking Brock who was cradling your son to his chest with a proud smile. “Hi my other babies.” You teased softly, walking right up to him, not hesitating to curl into his open arm. “I’m sorry I couldn’t be there with you today.” He whispered, pressing kisses to the top of your head as you could only nod in response. You shakily pulled away and held your hands out for Niko, Brock skillfully passed him to you, watching as you left a big kiss to your sons head before holding him close to you. “Mommy missed you.” You whispered to the baby who looked up at you with wide eyes, you couldn’t help but hold him close and let the tears fall, you had been bottling it up, and you had to let it out, now especially as you were in the comfort of your own home. You were an easy crier, you cried at movies, at cute romance stories, but it was rare that you cried like this, with such a strong strangled sob falling from your lips, you were hurting, and he didn’t know what to do to help. “Y/N.” Brock murmured, having to hold his own emotions back, “come here, honey.” He carefully hugged you, making sure to not put pressure on baby Niko. “It’s not fair, why does it have to hurt so much?” You whimpered, sniffling as you tried to breath, all it took for you to come back to earth was the way Brock leaned back and pushed the hair off your face, not caring that it was wet with tears, and if you were being honest, some snot. And then, to top it all off, Niko grabbed onto your finger and held it tight, you finally looked down at him, smiling at the sight as he drifted off again. “Freaking amazing mommy powers.” Brock joked lightly, shaking his head, you threw your head back in a quiet giggle, not wanting to wake the baby. Brock’s hands were still on your hair, thumbs rubbing softly, “life isn’t fair, it sucks that you have to go through this hurt, if I could take it away I would.” He mumbled, eyes locked on yours, making sure you absorbed every word.
You nodded softly, quickly going to place Niko in the pack n play in the living room, you scurried back to Brock, “remind me why we aren’t married yet?” You teased, arms locking around his neck in a proper hug now that neither of you were holding the baby, “mhm, I recall you saying ‘I need to be able to drink at our wedding’ so we waited for Niko to come.” He quipped, laughing against your lips as he kissed you tenderly, “guess I’ve got no excuse now.” You mumbled, resting your forehead against his, “nope.” He grinned, pressing another quick peck to your lips, “better get planning mama.” He added with a teasing squeeze to your sides, he knew this smile would be short lived, because by the end of the day he was certain you’d get that phone call, but for now he’d relish in having you and his son healthy and happy right in front of him.
