It was a bad day.
By this point, you’d abandoned the idea of trying to deny that simple fact. The sun was setting and you just couldn’t continue to coat your dismal feelings with sugary sweet positivities any longer. It had grown almost exhausting keeping up that cheery act while at work.
It was a bad day and that was okay.
You still politely waved to everyone as you made your way through the bustling Fat Gum agency. Everyone’s constant chatter made you somewhat aware of the bigger incidents that had occurred today. You wondered how worn out Taishiro was after all of the apparent commotions in the city. Slipping off your winter coat, you dragged yourself into the familiar office.
“Y/N!” Your fiance immediately greeted you with his usual resounding warmth and you’re a bit taken aback by the sight of him. You weren’t expecting him to be in his smaller, more proportionate form.
He’d already changed out of his probably tattered hero outfit, now donning a plain t-shirt and sweats.
“Hi, Taishiro,” You responded stiffly as you plopped down beside him on the giant neon green beanbag. Without his bigger size to even things out, it swallowed the two of you like a child in an oversized jacket.
You looked closely at his sweet face and noted the angry-looking scratches that littered his cheek. On instinct, you reached out and stroked the rough marks with your thumb. Your hand dropped as you forced yourself to attempt to start a casual conversation.
“I take it that you had a tough day? Either that or you went and provoked a very grouchy cat.”
His yellow eyes lit up like firecrackers.
“Oh boy, lemme tell you- So, there was this dude who that one huge bank and his quirk was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen! Some kind of hybrid mutation tiger transformation! And you’ll never believe what Amajiki had to do! Poor kid. He wasn’t hurt or anything, but you know how shy he is. Anyways-”
His excited word jumble comes to a screeching halt.
“Hey, what’s wrong?”
He’s staring at you with so much fragile concern and that’s all it takes. Just like that, the hot tears start to dribble down your chilled face. Taishiro doesn’t hesitate to pull you into his arms.
You let him run a hand through your hair while you sniffled against his shirt. “Oh, Y/N. What happened?”
“I’m just sad, I guess, and it’s so hard sometimes.” You choose not to elaborate, further attaching yourself to Taishiro instead.
“It’s okay to be sad. Let it all out, I’m right here.” His hand found its way downwards and started massaging the small of your back. “Brr, you’re so cold from outside still. We gotta warm you up.”
His rubbing became more vigorous and less precise, focusing solely on the goal to create friction. A small snotty giggle escaped you as fell further into his coziness. It didn’t matter what size, he was always like a huge teddy bear and you loved that more than anything.
Taishiro spoke again, his voice soft and serious. One arm rested snugly around your back and the other hand returned to patting your head. “If something’s bothering you, you can tell me all about it. Doesn’t have to be right now. It can be later. You know, I’m always listening.”
“And I’ll do everything in my power to help you, Y/N.”
You hiccupped weakly once and carefully considering every single one of his reassuring words.
A great deal of time passed before Taishiro said anything else. He began to maneuver himself off to the side in an effort to reach for something, all while continuing to snuggle you.
“I know food doesn’t cure everything, but I actually already picked these up for you earlier.”
Finally uncovering yourself, you glanced up to see him grinning and holding a cute little bag of your favorite candies. There was a small note attached to the treats.
Taishiro chuckled, a sound you could feel vibrating his chest. “Don’t judge! I’m no poet, but I did try my hand at writing something sweet for you. Total coincidence. I hope it isn’t too cheesy.”
Even before reading it, you knew it’d be wonderful.

In an age when 80% of the world's population had superpowers called quirks, Kouji had the ability to speak to animals. Originally, he wondered if he could be a pro hero. But as he grew up, he recognized that he was too timid and he would be happier in an occupation that let him work with animals regularly.
At first, he wasn't sure what he wanted to do. He just knew that he wanted to work with them. As he took more classes, he eventually decided on opening a care facility. He would watch them during the day and, if needed, even offer boarding for overnight trips.
Specifically, he wanted to offer hybrid care for heroes. Many pro heroes publicly lamented the issue of leaving their hybrids behind while they worked. Either they were left home alone, bored and lonely, or they were harassed at care centers.
Having once wanted to be a hero, the idea of helping heroes by providing a safe space for their hybrids, free of fanatics really appealed to him. And so he started choosing his classes and internships with this goal in mind. He was older now, 28. It had taken a decade since that first encounter. But he was finally here, in Tokyo, holding the keys to his new business.

You’re like Tamaki Amajiki and/or Koji Koda, very shy. You begin to have panic attacks when speaking to a large audience. You also tend to get lost easily.

Like if the person had brown hair and blue eyes, then the cat version of them would have brown fur and blue eyes.
You also have the abilities that cats have, Run faster than a speeding Olympian, Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, have peripheral vision that is roughly 285 degrees, ability to hear much higher-pitched sounds, you can also judge, with three inches, the location of a sound made three feet away, have sense of smell that is 14 times keener, and of course, always land on your feet.

You and Momo have known each other since you guys were kids. Since you get scared of talking to people, she is happy to help talk to them for you.
You always admired her. She was beautiful, smart, strong, and confident.
She was your safe haven.
When situations, like meeting new people, become too much for you, you would hold onto Momo like a scared little kid.
Momo loves you. You’re so cute and amazing.
Momo loved your attention. When it came to you, her motherly instincts would kick in. She showers kisses all over your face just stop you from overthinking or crying.
Momo always knows how to calm you down from a panic attack.
She can be a worrywart when it comes to you.
When in public, You two hold hands, mostly so you don’t get lost, and so you don’t have a panic attack.
You always try to give her some form of affection, most of the time you get to shy. Momo would just laugh at your cuteness and meet your kiss halfway.
You also tend to get jealous easily, so when you see someone with your girl, you would hug her and give the person the best death glare you got. In the end, the glare has no effect and just make you more cute, and Momo just tells the person you’re her girlfriends/boyfriend and the person goes away. Momo teases you later too.
