I remembered your idea about Grimmjow mentoring Izuku and I have world building/background.

Grimm got to the bnha universe because some idiots were trying to summon a demon to kill some heroes and since there aren't any in universe the magic spell outsourced. The idiots did not survive their stupidity. Grimm is really annoying because he's pretty sure it's going to take at least a year to get home.

Finding and starting to teach Izuku delayed his plans, but not by too much. Grim figures he'll just wait for the kid to die and bring Izuku's soul back with him. Classic Arrancar adoption tactics.

Inko is a little uncomfortable with a demon adopting her son with a plan of making him another demon, but honestly Izuku's just so happy these days that she's cool with it. She does the paperwork to make Grim a distant relative.

People in the bnha universe don't really have reiatsu but they still have souls. Grim just has to teach izuku to reform his soul so it's bleach style instead. He's pretty sure that any of the many mad scientists he knows would tell him it's impossible, but izuka did it anyways so there.

For paperwork they claim that it's a family inherited work that is super finicky and requires a lot of control and often doesn't activate without life or death danger or knowing how to activate it beforehand. Which it is true, using reiatsu for stuff more complicated than "be stronger and hardier," let alone kidou, takes decades of learning. Even if hollow style kidou is easier to learn, it's not by that much. Grim mostly focuses Izuku on learning the basics of combat and maybe sonido.

Izuku ends up good at kicking people in the face like canon, but he also has throwing knives and a tanto to complete the danger gremlin evolution.

He kicks Bakugou in the face and breaks his nose. Their relationship isn't great but it's not as awful as in cannon.

Grimmjow is setting up connections with the villain community one day when he hears about some mysterious, powerful fucker called All For One. He hasn't eaten in a while, and that seems like someone no one will miss so he eats out for the day. The villain underground immediately falls into chaos but that isn't his problem.

Coincidentally, Inko's deadbeat husband finally stopped sending money. (Whether he's AfO or just some asshole who died in the chaos is up to you.) She shrugs and moves on. She saved and invested most money he gave them anyways.

Grim ends up running a dojo. First he just needs space to teach Izuku but I firmly believe that despite his general misanthropic tendencies he actually likes kids, so the whole thing balloons pretty fast. He ends up with this weird teenager who calls himself Dabi as an assistant, since the kid already knew how to fight pretty well.

With an actual support system Dabi ends up significantly less burned and significantly more sane. He works as a vigilante, killing marital and child abusers. He's really uncertain about what to do about Endeavor, because he wants to kill him but the man also scares the shit out of him, and he doesn't want to free his siblings just to put them in the spotlight. Grimmjow is less than zero help, but Inko gives him a big hug and helps him start to set up a legal case if that's what he decides to do. He's like Izuku's weird, obnoxious older cousin.

Speaking of the lov, Kurogiri got out and took Shigaraki with him when AfO died. They end up picking up the rest of the league overtime. All the kids try to convince Kurogiri to reach back out to his friends from when he was Oboro. They might or might not be vigilantes.

What are you talking about, this isn't a fix it fic.

The UA staff are deeply baffled when they meet Izuku's guardians: the sweetest little lady you ever did meet and what Aizawa is pretty sure is an actual, literal demon from hell. In hindsight, though, it makes sense.

Summary:

Izuku has liked you for years, he understands the fact that he’s your best friend and he wouldn’t do anything to ruin that but he just can’t hold his feelings in any longer. Will you accept his feelings or will you shatter his heart? There’s only one way to find out.

“But um, Y/N?” “That's my name, ‘Zuku.”

“Can I talk to you for a moment? In private? Please?”

Y/N stares at the boy for a moment before giving him a silent nod.

Izuku wastes no time, grabbing Y/N by his wrist and heading outside of the UA building, he receives weird stares from people he passes but he’s too focused on making sure his heart doesn’t jump out of his chest.

When they’re outside, Izuku finds a tree under the shade, he’s breathing heavily and he’s visibly shaking.

He lets go of Y/N’s wrist and takes a deep breath.

“What’s up, bro?”

God that word brings so much pain.

“Well um… Y/N I’ve liked you for so long and no matter what happened, you were always right there. You made me feel like the best person to ever walk the earth and-“

Izuku is too busy talking to notice your wide eyes and how you look almost…disappointed?

“I wanna cherish you forever. I wanna give you the love that no guy ever will. I wanna be the one you come home to. The one who holds you at night when you don’t feel well. I wanna have arguments and the times we forgive each other. I want to have those late night talks with each other about nothing and make it into something, all I wanna say is I love y-!” Izuku paused.

His words were cut off by the other boy’s lips on his.

Y/N’s left hand was on Izuku’s hip and the other hand on the back of his neck, pulling him closer.

Izuku was stunned, he couldn’t move. His body refused to respond.

‘Shit, does he not want me to kiss him?’ Y/N panicked. Almost about to pull away as Izuku’s arms wrapped around Y/N’s neck.

Eyes closed and bodies close together, kissing in a tight hold of each other.

Izuku broke the kiss, breathing heavily at the other boy, smiling like a dork and in total bliss.

“I thought you didn’t like me. You looked pretty disappointed.”

“Yea, I am.” Y/N replies, looking Izuku dead in his eyes. “Disappointed I didn’t get the balls to tell you first.”

“Y/N, I love you.”

“Izuku, I’ve loved you since forever.”

“Never leave me, please.” Izuku pleaded.

“Never, Angel. Never.”

From Izuku to Katsuki, chapter 119.

I really love this little quite done by Izuku. To me it shows that despite being bullied by Katsuki from kindergarten all the way to their first year at high school, he still admires Katsuki. In my eyes it's so Izuku that I love it. He himself stated int he very same chapter, just a few panels before this: "As and as your bad side was... your strengths were just as impressive,"

He knows Katsuki has a bad side (and all to well sadly) but he seemed to focus slightly more on Katsuki's strengths which he called impressive. Basically, admiration.

Another example of Izuku's admiration for Katsuki is in the final exam mini arc where Izuku and Katsuki were paired up to fight All Might. There was this mini flashback of Katsuki standing for himself against two seniors at the age of 6.

Izuku is seen admiring Katsuki's bravery behind a near by tree, admiring at how Katsuki, like All Might, always wins at the end. Again, he had said that he could only admire All Might from a distance, but Izuku is is here admiring Katsuki just behind a nearby tree.

Izuku's admiration had stirred somewhere around the age of 4 a deepened later on. How I can conclude this, is because, there was another flashback where, the two of them were in a forest, Izuku telling Katsuki how amazing his Katsuki's quirk is. Once again I repeat, admiring Katsuki. I feel that Izuku's admiration shall never stop and that even when Izuku becomes the No.1 hero, all while Katsuki is the No.2 hero, he will still find something amazing about Katsuki.

So you can see how much Izuku admires Katsuki and how significant Katsuki is in Izuku's life, so when in the infamous chapter 362, Katsuki seemingly dies, you can see the impact it brings upon Izuku.

See how his eyes change? From how the light in his eyes slowly but surely disappears as he sees a dead corpse on the floor, and how his pupils vanish the moment he realizes it's Katsuki. He doesn't believe that the person he admires just as much or possibly even more than All Might, is dead. Because he admires Katsuki for Katsuki's bravery, and sprit of always winning. Hence, Izuku's image of victory being Katsuki.

Katsuki has come a really long way as well. From bullying Izuku to 'admiring/accepting' Izuku. I feel his biggest change as a character towards Izuku was when he apologized in the rain, and for the first time in ten years or so calling Izuku by his given name.

How Horikoshi draws and depicts their development by drawing the two of them when they were toddlers, to middle school, then high school, to the moment where he's apologizing, brings forth a mountain of indescribable feelings and emotions. How Katsuki said he looked down on Izuku because Izuku was quirkless, and therefore thought that Izuku was meant to be classified as beneath him.

But even so, he always felt that Izuku was above him, and he hated that. So Katsuki bullied Izuku, to keep Izuku at arm's length,but Izuku kept running and chasing after him, as I have said, because of how much Izuku admires Katsuki. He tried to act all superior by rejecting Izuku, but as he says, he kept losing that fight if trying to act superior. And through out the whole first year at UA, he was forced to realize Izuku's strengths and his weaknesses. And he apologizes, along with saying Izuku's name in front of all his classmates.

For Katsuki to show even some sort of weakness is hard enough but the fact that he willingly and ooenly shows his weakness in front of at least 20 people, is a lot to say on its own. And Katsuki continues by saying how he and everyone else will be there to help Izuku when Izuku can't handle everything on his own.

His apology to Izuku was one of the final pieces needed to bring back Izuku to UA, the efforts of Ochako, Tenya and everyone else in 1A will not go unnoticed. And as Izuku falls from exhaustion, all his emotions starting to cave in, we can how fast Katsuki runs to just catch Izuku from falling.

You can't even see the remainder of Katsuki's leg due to the speed he was running at to catch Izuku from falling, while muttering how he and everyone else in 1A gets how Izuku feels. From how Katsuki used to bully Izuku to now 'admiring/accepting' Izuku shows how far Katsuki has come, and there are still others out there stating how Katsuki has zero character development.

And another thing I should point out is how Katsuki is trying to change his habit of calling Izuku, Deku. Katsuki is trying to make the effort of calling Izuku by his given name, instead of a nickname he had made up that meant how useless Izuku was. Why he stops calling Izuku by his given name was due to him saying, "Deku-Izuku," And Izuku had replied, telling Katsuki that if calling him by his given name was too hard, then he doesn't want Katsuki to force himself to call him Izuku.

And Katsuki took that as a rejection. Therefore, he stopped calling Izuku, well... Izuku, anymore. Until of course the last few moments before Shigaraki crushed his heart, and killing Katsuki.

His final thoughts were about Izuku, his final words were also about Izuku. Katsuki has come a long way from bullying to 'admiration/acceptance' While Izuku has continued to admire Katsuki despite the consistent bullying.

"So Izuku... can I... still catch up to you?"

This is just my thoughts by the way, I was just merely reading chapter 119 again, and Deku's single sentence just prompted a whole analysis in my mind. It's more of a focus on Katsuki and Izuku's friendship-rivalry than actual bkdk.

You know what comes up a lot? Fics where Izuku does take his own life and Bakugou drowns in regret and misery. Now, I stay away from these kinds of fics because they do exactly what the show does; focus on the abuser's pain and not the victim's. I'd much rather read about Izuku's thought process and what he's feeling before it happens, not Bakugou being depressed over it when he was the cause of it.

But I do wonder, do you think Bakugou would genuinely care? Especially prior to UA? Because I have such a hard time believing it. MAYBE he'd feel guilty, but to actually care that Izuku is dead? I have so many doubts. Maybe I'm pessimistic, but🤷🏾‍♀️

Do I think Bakugou would care if Izuku killed himself?

In all honesty, no. I think that, canonically, Bakugou would not care.

We are talking of the same kid who suicide baited Izuku with a BIG smile. Who, when his friends say he went too far, Bakugou rebuffs them. He also proceeds to NEVER - not even in his bastardised "apology" - bring up the suicide baiting again.

Another gripe with those sort of fics is that it spreads harmful rhetoric that to get back at the bully, the victim can end themselves to make the bully feel bad.

In real life, it doesn't work that way.

There is no guarantee that the bully will feel anything about their victim passing away at all. Yet when the victim decides to take their life, their life ends there.

There's no seeing anything that comes after. It is definitively final.

They're done completely.

Meanwhile, the bully (if they feel bad or not) has the privilege to continue to live their life.

Bakugou, in these fics, encapsulates this well. His pain around driving Izuku to suicide is focused on and he gets to move on from what he did while Izuku dies there, suffering the most permanent concequence of Bakugou's abuse - death.

And how disgusting and unjust is that?

Ask game where izuku time travel and somehows saves hawks which leads for massive hero worship of him

1- izuku is yeeted backwards through time and crashes outside the shanty Tomie and Keigo lived in. Tomie hides and, curious, Keigo peaks outside to see a darkly costumed hero in a torn cape and cowl sparking lightning and spasming bits of darkness. he thinks that is very cool but also probably dangerous, ready to fly off.

Izuku, who looks around and has no idea where he is, sees the shack and heads closer to try and see if anyone is there and can tell him where he is

2- Tomie freaks and grabs Keigo to run, but Izuku is able to pretty easily catch up and pull out his hero license, apologizing for the scare and getting halfway through asking where he is when he stops because either Hawks has a secret lovechild that Shoto and Fumikage are going to go crazy about, or, this kid is just Hawks. which means he's time traveled. And he knows exactly what's going to go down, how the commission botches the war arc, leading him directly to the runnaway arc he was in the middle of- not to mention Keigo is like, six years old right now and looks just like all the other small kids Izuku's helped before.

3- Izuku is like "Hey, actually, can i like, buy you some food? or we can go to a safehouse? from your villain husband/father that i know about?" and that spooks Tomie enough that she tells Keigo to fly away as fast as he can, but he comes back in under a minute to help her, only to see Izuku letting her go back inside the house, and muttering to himself about how to help them.

He could try to hunt down All Might, but he doesn't know if his number is the same this far back, or the ramifications of dealing with time, or if Gran Torino will believe him, or if his teacher has even started at UA at this point, and Keigo lands and says he sounds like he knows a lot of heroes.

Danger Sense didn't warn Izuku and he's startled, but nods, saying the problem is a lot of them don't know him yet.

4- Izuku thinks about it for a while with the vestiges as he takes Keigo into town and brings food back to the home for dinner, figuring out what he should do because none of them know what to do about time travel. Eventually, he decides to take Third's advice- he doesn't know any heroes that will believe him or can risk causing a paradox with, but he does know a hero he can blackmail whose life choices he probably can't make any worse.

To say that Endeavor is surprised when some stranger waving a hero license in the air and carrying two civilians with his quirk lands in his front yard is an understatement.

5- Izuku gets Enji to talk with him in his office while he shoves Tomie and Keigo at Rei and the three todokids, telling him everything- that he's from the future, that he can prove it with a lot of information that he really shouldn't have and a very legit license from the future, and that if Izuku is about right about when he time traveled, Rei is very recently pregnant with Shoto so Enji better get it together before Touya tries to kill the infant threatening to replace him as central piece in the mini eugenics experiment he decided to run. He tells him off for caring about the ranking system more than the reason heroes exist, warns him that he should probably see if he can stop the commission from training the kid they currently are training to be their super illegal and immoral assassin before she snaps and kills the president, and then decides 'oh what the hell, predictions of death have been great motivators in mine and All Might's experience!' and tells Enji that unless he wants to be killed by a quirk affected Shoto minutes after killing Touya, he'll prevent that future by changing things right now.

Izuku leaves the office with a stunned Enji and announces that Endeavor oh so kindly offered to make sure that Tomie and Keigo have safe housing and food. He ruffles Keigo's hair, tells him that he should be proud of working so hard to improve his quirk so quickly that he's practically faster than Izuku, who was so bad with his quirk originally that it was out of control and broke his own bones, recommends Touya look into Sheild Industries for support tech, waves at a shy Fuyumi, and then slips the kids a phone number for absolute emergencies with the passcode 'one for all' written on it. Then he leaves.

Keigo watches him go and announces that he must be the greatest hero ever, and Keigo is going to be just like him one day.

Touya takes offense since obviously Endeavor is the greatest hero and then Touya will be. Keigo looks at the still stunned Enji, then back at the very cool multi quirk silhouette, and decides that Touya's tastes cannot be trusted.

+1- Several years later, Endeavor watches the sports festival and pulls out his phone, calling Touya and only saying "no" because he knows that Touya is also watching and seeing the bone breaking kid who looks just like the hero from ages ago. Touya protests that he didn't want the kid for internships anyway, just thought he must be that old heroe's son. Enji goes 'nah, it's him, before he time traveled' and does not elaborate even as Touya asks if he's joking. Keigo is already filing the paperwork for the internship, and says he already knew that, because Izuku muttered a lot- but he's not going to let him vanish without a word this time! not to mention, his agency is going to be the one to make the first official merch that Keigo has been dying to collect for over a decade now. Touya questions Keigo's tastes, and Izuku ends up picking another agency.

「Headcanons of Midoriya, Bakugou and Kirishima with S/O who has a Venom quirk.」

MIDORIYA IZUKU

♤ Midoriya finds you weird at first. It's not every day he sees someone talk to themselves. He's quite an observant person, and he notices how you often talk to yourself. It caught his attention and he starts watching you a little—of course not in a creepy way. He has a lot of questions about your behavior and it was all answered when the symbiote decides to emerge from your body to call him out for stalking you for the past few days. Poor boy almost got a heart attack.

♤ It's quite a surprise to Midoriya when you explain how Venom needs chocolate to survive. Everyone went their separate ways to buy their own personal items and you did the same. While Midoriya was doing his own shopping, he came across you at the candy and chocolate aisle where you seemed to be having a conversation with yourself. Of course, it's not his position to tell you what you should and shouldn't eat but seeing that amount of chocolate was concerning.

♤ There were occasions when Venom gets a little aggressive, itching for a fight, and it's always during training where it gets to let loose. Even though it gets out of control sometimes, Aizawa was there, ready to take action in case something happens. Not to mention Jirou is there to disable your abilities. You train with Midoriya from to improve your hand-to-hand combat skills.

"Let me have at him too! He's like a superhuman or something right, then he won't die that easily if I fight him, right kid?"

"No, you're not allowed to step in! I'm learning this in case you're not there to help me."

"Um, I'm still here, you know...."

♤ Although your quirk interests him, he feels nervous whenever he talks with you because Venom could just pop up and interrupt your conversation. So when he asks more about Venom, you were more than happy to tell him more but it was hard when it keeps talking inside your head and interrupting you. He worries that someday it might take control of you but you assure him that Venom can't live without a host and is actually quite fond of you.

♤ Venom calls Midoriya out for being a creep staring at you and teases him for having a crush on you. And he gets bullied a lot by Venom which always leads to you apologizing to him. When you both started dating, Midoriya felt awkward because it feels as if he's dating two people at the same time. He would bring you out on a date and Venom will suddenly pop up, telling Midoriya how he never accounted for its needs. Eventually, he gets used to Venom's constant interrupting.

"Hey, broccoli boy. Stop staring at her ass like that."

"I wasn't!"

BAKUGOU KATSUKI

☆ First impression of you—a weirdo because you're always whispering to yourself, sometimes even hitting yourself. But when you start showing off your quirk, he was amazed. He finds himself mesmerized by the way the thick black liquid wraps around your figure, transforming you into something abnormal. He has a ton of questions. How does your quirk actually work? How does it feel? Is this alien symbiote trustworthy? Because it sounds quite bloodthirsty.

☆ Probably the only person you know that isn't terrified of Venom when it first emerged from your body. And the only one capable of actually having a conversation with it but it's mostly them going back and forth insulting one another. Even though he has guts, Bakugou can't deny that Venom is terrifying. The general appearance is definitely not hero-like and it was no surprise that a lot of people are scared of you whenever Venom took over and fight. He would be lying if he said he wasn't intimidated.

☆ Not to most romantic person but he tries. As UA students, you both could be too busy to go out on a date. The two of you often just got together and do something together in the dorms. It's usually just study sessions together in either of your rooms, watching movies together or playing games. And on rare occasions, Bakugou will cook for you.

"I like this guy, he acts like an asshole but he's one of the good guys. We can keep him. But if he dares to hurt you in any way, I'm gonna rip his head off and eat him."

"You have no right to threaten my boyfriend! And keep him? He's not some pet and you're just saying that because he makes good food!"

☆ Venom and Bakugou don't really get along well but they have something in common which is their protectiveness towards you. At some point, they get a bit competitive but Venom seems to be winning—that's a given since it's technically a part of you. Honestly, both of them act like children. When you're riding the train with Bakugou and someone dares to stand behind you with lecherous intentions, you bet that your boyfriend and the symbiote inside you are threatening to rip that man's balls off.

☆ They bonded while you fall asleep where they surprisingly have a heart-to-heart talk. Venom confesses how he's usually scaring off your potential boyfriends. Bakugou is aware of how you don't really have friends because Venom always scares them off. Your boyfriend could tell that Venom actually cared about you a lot just from the way it acts, it's more violent with people it sees as a threat and is particularly overprotective of you. And during these rare bonding times, Venom likes to make fun of the little things you do.

"You know, she writes about you in a stupid journal."

"No fucking way, tell me where it is."

KIRISHIMA EIJIROU

♡ Kirishima is very honest and kind-hearted, even towards Venom who's foul-mouthed, aggressive, and violent in nature. Like most people, he feels a bit intimidated by Venom. Kirishima is generally a nice guy who tries to befriend you on the first day of school. But Venom popped up to scare him off which made him jump and fall back onto his butt. You apologized and offered a hand which he graciously accepted. It did take him by surprise and when Venom hovered next to you while you introduced yourself, he felt a bit uncomfortable.

♡ He compliments you often for performing so well during training and Venom would interject, saying how they did most of the work. Kirishima was scared of Venom at first when it surrounds your body and honestly, he admits that can’t get used to it. Sometimes he worries that you might actually lose control someday. But there was a time the school alarm went off and you were covering your ears, Kirishima could see that you were in so much pain. From that he learned that despite being strong, you still have weaknesses.

♡ But Kirishima easily wins over Venom with his friendliness. When you weren't feeling well one day, Kirishima visiting you with soup and even some food for Venom who seemed to be complaining about how you were so weak to succumb to a mere fever. This guy is just so sweet, stayed by your side the whole time.

"If this guy is bringing us food more often then I approve of him being your mate. And these are some really good tater tots."

”That’s not how a relationship works.”

♡ To perfectly describe Kirishima, you'll like to compare him with a little puppy dog. He's loyal, so sweet, and loving. Most likely affectionate and may appear clingy but that is not until you're okay with it. Kirishima will never do anything you're not comfortable with. Venom seems to be annoyed at how Kirishima is always acting around you, even going as far as to call him a lovesick idiot. You often scold Venom for acting so rude and mean to your boyfriend.

♡ He’s protective but not to Bakugou’s level. Even though you’re super strong, it doesn’t mean that you’re invincible. You’d lose consciousness after overexerting yourself or when you’re heavily injured. Kirishima is absolutely worried about your well-being, and constantly asks if you'll be fine or not. And at some point, Venom gets sick of his constant worrying and ends up exploding.

Ok, so, let's say Izuku returns to be a quirkless person after the final battle. He would be so sad and frustrated. But he will still do 'the right thing' and assume he will be welcome in the General ED class. So when the classes start over, he goes straight to his 'new classroom' and sits at the back of it, feeling lonely and wondering what the others are doing...

The bell rings, and he sighs and waits for everyone to stop looking at him and get to their sits. The teacher enters, but then, with a zoom and a knock on the door, Iida rushes in and apologizes for the interruption. Behind him, the long tongue of Asui stretches, surrounds, and pulls Izuku and all his stuff out of the classroom...

Izuku then finds himself with class 1A again, and all of them are like: "You're late, Midoriya"

It gets old quickly, until the day Kacchan returns to class and has to bring Sero with him only to shout in his face that: 'No, Izuku, we don't care if you're quirkless again, you're still part of our class at the hero course, now let's f*cking go!'

The thing is, Izuku is not easy to convince. He feels like he doesn't belong to the hero course anymore and keeps going to the G. ED classroom each morning; and each morning, another group of his friends would have to 'kidnap' him from the other class.

From that point on, he shows up to class and makes good use of his analytics skills in order to help his classmates and graduates as the first quirkless Hero of UA.

Katsuki Bakugo↝ Kansa has the biggest crush on Katsuki almost at once after meeting him. Until then she had never seriously been interested in boys, only seeing them as toys to mess with. Her new feelings take her off guard, and it frustrates her that none of her usual advances seem to affect Katsuki. Katsuki thinks Kansa will be a strong hero one day, and much like Kansa doesn’t know what to do with these new foreign feelings. It makes him angry, and he can’t tell if Kansa’s flirts are serious or not since she throws around flirty comments to the other boys too. Eventually, the two find themselves in a situationship that lasts all through UA. As adults, there’s a time when Katsuki is distant from Kansa, leaving them to split for a while. Although the two eventually find themselves back together closer than ever.

Eijiro Kirishima↝ The two friendships started due to Kansa trying to be closer to Katsuki. Often tagging along with the two for study nights. Eijiro quickly became and still is one of Kansa’s closest friends.

Denki Kaminari↝ Being the horn dog Denki is at UA, Kansa loves to throw out provocative comments that leave him a blushing mess. Beyond their days at UA, the two are close friends.

Hanta Sero↝ Being a part of the Bakugosquad Kansa has a good relationship with Hanta. Although she is the least close to him of the boys.

Mina Ashido↝ Mina is one of the few girls Kansa becomes close to. Bonding in their wild sides, the two have many girls' nights throughout UA. They are still close as adults.

Kyoka Jiro↝ Kansa likes Kyoka’s style although the two don’t get close until the influence of Mina brings them together. Kyoka is a little off put sometimes by Kansa’s vulgar behavior but comes to see her as a close friend and even comes to her for advice sometimes.

Izuku Midoriya↝ Kansa follows Katsuki's lead in taking a dislike to Izuku. She’ll avoid him at all costs and is extremely rude when they cross paths. Izuku is fascinated by Kansa's quirk and the way she’s been able to create a bond with Kacchan. He’s overly nice to her and doesn’t seem to take any offense to her rude behavior. Later as adults, Kansa apologizes for her behavior at UA, and they have a respectful relationship.

Ochaco Uraraka↝ Kansa picks up on the fact that Ochaco has a crush on Izuku. Being that Katsuki hates Izuku and sees him as a rival, Kansa takes up the same stance for Ochaco. Viewing her overbearing kindness as a weakness. Throughout most of UA Kansa is rude and borderline bullies Ochaco. She apologizes later, and they form a strong bond as adults. Particularly when Izuku and Katsuki are sent on missions leaving the two alone.

Tenya Iida↝ Iida views Kansa as wildly irresponsible and is often left speechless by her vulgar and proactive comments. He quickly learns to pick and choose his battles with her, and most times keeps a comfortable distance away.

Tsuyu Asui↝ Kansa admires the way Tsu always speaks her mind. However, Tsu isn’t a fan of Kansa due to the way she treats Ochaco and Momo. Later on, when Kansa matures and apologizes to Ochaco the two have a respectful relationship although they aren’t close.

Momo Yaoyorozu↝ Kansa is intimated by Momo’s beauty and sees her as a threat. Being an immature teenager, she handles her jealousy by giving her backhanded comments and often being rude. Momo sees right through this but let's Kansa be all through UA, keeping a comfortable distance. As adults, the two have a respectful relationship although they aren’t close.

Shoto Todoroki↝ Kansa has a big disdain for Shoto. She thinks he’s incredibly boring and is bewildered that all the girls fawn over him. Shoto thinks Kansa doesn’t take being a hero seriously due to her flirtatious personality. They butt heads often and Kansa purposely tries to get under his skin by making wildly inappropriate comments about his dad. Endeavor is freaked out by this and requests Shoto to stay away from her.

Hitoshi Shinso↝ They first meet when Aizawa and Midnight have them spar together because they are both learning how to use support items. Shinso and the capture scarf; Kansa and a whip. Hitoshi is immediately starstruck by Kansa’s seductive comments. He has a crush on her throughout UA. The two eventually date after graduation during a split between Kansa and Katsuki. However, they have a nasty breakup as Shinso begins to feel he is just a rebound and Kansa will never truly be over Katsuki. The two don’t speak anymore.

1.4k - Colleting the small UA group heading off to Summer Camp as counselors. The van has limited seating. This is just a drab I have been wanting to read but I have yet to find one. Summer was in full swing. The AC blasting throughout Midoriya's van was soon to be a distant memory as he picked up the old UA gang one by one- destination, a Sleep-away camp, where third years had the unfortunate pleasure of being camp counselors.

Kirishima and you were the first passengers. He took advantage of this by taking control of the AUX and sitting behind the driver. You claimed the legroom riding shotgun. Within an hour, the van was filling up with familiar faces and, as well, entirely too much luggage.

Mina sat in the middle row, Kirishima to her left and Kaminari to her right. By no surprise to anyone who knew the boy- Denki had managed to pack even more than even Mina. Their luggage and duffle bags crowded the third and final row, leaving a small spot for their last two passengers, Bakugo and Uraraka.

As Midoriya pulled into the driveway of the former, onlookers met an angry scowl. "You're late." he seethed as he strode up to the window, shooting Deku a terrifying snarl with you caught in the crossfire. "Ah-ha, yeah, sorry. We had a hard time getting the duffle bags in the back arranged so we could make a spot for you." Midoriya nervously apologized. "Save it, nerd," he dismissed him before giving you a subtle nod and a grumbled, "Hey." Before you could think to reply, he was shoving Kaminari aside to gain access to the last row. You turned to watch him shove his bag onto the ever-growing pile of clothing and camping accessories, finally settling in with his earphones.

The last stop is Uraraka. This stop was met with a much more agreeable greeting, as she was running out the front door with a glowing smile and a float in her step. You rolled the window down, "Do you need any help with your bags? Is that all you're bringing!? Where's the rest of it?" you were taken aback that she seemed to have even less than Bakugo had. She blushed and looked to Izuku who was tomato red already. "Well, we were so excited to be a part of the Future Heroes Camp as counselors that we sort of planned all our outfits ahead of time and I ended up just leaving them at Izuku's place! So most of my things are actually packed away already in the van. These are just my toiletries and such." she smiled brightly at the embarrassed green-haired driver before poking her head in your window and checking the scene in the back. You could see her excitement falter as she noticed there wasn't much room left and the last spot was in the very back next to the grumpiest guy. "Do you want me to see if we can rearrange the luggage again to make more room for you?" Mina suggested, "I'm sure we could toss out one of Kaminari's bags, I bet he packed more than one useless hairdryer." she rolled her eyes. "What!? It's my back up dryer!" "Why would you need a backup one!?" "Uh-duh, in case the first one breaks?"

"WHAT'S THE HOLD UP, DEKU!?" Bakugo's voice thundered over the two arguing. "Sorry!" "Eep! Please, it's alright, I don't want anyone to make any changes for me… I'll be alright." Uraraka smiled her sweet sincere smile before taking a strained deep breath. You could see her swallow hard as Kaminari stepped out so she could easily push up the seat, accessing the back row.

Against your better judgment, you spoke up before she could hoist herself in. "Wait, how about you take my seat? I've been shotgun for the entire pickup, I don't mind taking the back for the rest of the way." You ignored the tiny excited gasp only you could hear coming from the driver's seat.

"I'll take it!" Kaminari shouted, sticking his grabby hands out at your chair. You, admittedly with satisfying force, karate chopped his forehead and shoved him away from you and your passenger seat.

You deadpanned, "I didn't offer it to you, chump, now move aside. Ochako?" "Well, if you're sure? I really don't want to be a bother to anyone…" she wrung her hands together.

"You're bothering me, you idiots!" Bakugo carried on but was, for the most part, ignored. "Ah! Okay! I'll trade you. Thank you so much! I owe you one, really." she bowed and hurridly scurried to replace you in the front spot.

You were feeling pretty well about your good deed till you found yourself in a tighter spot than you'd first expected. "Wow, there really isn't a whole lotta room back here is there, huh?" you muttered to your new seatmate.

"Tsk. Whatever, just get in already. It's bad enough I got ropped into riding with you all when I could of just drove myself." he scoffed.

"Why didn't you then?" you used every bit of muscle you had to try and widen the nonexistent gap between Bakugo and the bags, to no avail.

"Shitty hair said it would 'be a bonding experience!' and that 'carpooling is manly and saves the ecosystem!' I don't know, some other shit sprinkled in there. Basically, agreed just so he'd shut the hell up about it." Bakugo didn't attempt to make more room for you.

You sat awkwardly, leaning on your hip into the luggage, attempting the most dramatic leg-cross just to avoid putting any weight on Bakugo's thigh.

"Oh. Well, good thing he didn't get that message to Todoroki or we might have a real problem on our laps." you rolled your eyes at yourself, hoping he missed the stupid joke. "That Half-and-half rat bastard is probably sitting real comfy all by himself in the most expensive car daddy's money can buy." Bakugo's leg started to bounce in irritation before he realized it was propelling you further into the baggage. "Sorry." he mumbled out low enough you almost missed it. "Suppose we could find time during our month-long camping trip to dirty it up, would that make you feel better?" you look over your shoulder, giving him a mischievous eye. He tried to hide his sudden smile by turning to look out the window away from you, "Sheesh, might find his car was egged? Could of been any number of the bratty ass kids, we can't keep an eye on all of them, now can we?" "Oo, better yet what if one of those eggs found its way inside his car? Shame if after a month one were to go bad hidden under the precious leather seats?" "You… That's… You're kind of a badass, huh?" he glares at you intently. You weren't sure if he was being serious or using sarcasm. Before you could figure it out the van hit a pothole that sent the luggage and the pair of you a foot in the air. "HEY, YOU DAMN NERD, CAN YOU EVEN DRIVE, DICKHEAD?" "Sorry!" the frightened voice squeaked from the front. "Fuck. Are you okay?" he sounded more pissed than concerned but that was the one type of question you knew he'd never ask unless he meant it. "Ah, yeah a little ragdoll never hurt anyone." you scoffed, "Are you okay?" you looked down to see the bump had practically put you in his lap. "Nothing here I can't handle," he stated simply. You were readjusting and scoffed, "I'd take that bet." then froze realizing what you'd said. You screwed your eyes shut, your face turned away from the blonde. You focused your attention on literally anything but the heat radiating off him before deciding you should try and slide back into your cramped spot. "Welp! I'm just gonna move over-" You thought your belt loop must have been stuck on something as when you tried to lift yourself, it held you back. Looking down you were surprised to find Bakugo's thumb was twisted through the loop holding you down to your makeshift seat.

"Uh, Bakugo?" you nervously croaked out. "Yeah, what's up?" he was glancing out his window, cool as always. "Did you want me to move off of you?" He turned, glare burning, "I think it's actually better if you stay put, this shitbox filled with all this junk and you can't even use the seatbelt right now."

"Oh, right. Okay. That… makes sense." you internally screamed as your brain malfunctioned. "Oi, don't make it a big deal. It's whatever." he shrugged. "No yeah, no it's cool. Best seat in the house, honestly." "For me, Definitely." he smirked and readjusted you so you were fully in his lap, for the extra security.

"Do you think the rest of camp will be this interesting?" you cocked an eyebrow at him.

"I can fuckin' hope."

deku always calls bkg "kacchan", a very childish nickname that he never lost... kacchan, when being genuine about deku, reverts to younger language. they bring out a sense of innocence in each other, their childhood persists through their relationship with each other...

and that sense of innocence is so critical! deku says "kacchan", and it's like he's never let go of the past where they could've been friends. he never let go of the childish dream of becoming a hero -- in some way, deku's brilliance comes from his childlike-ness.

it's what allows him to try saving shigaraki. but that instinct in him is spurned by kacchan. it's also persistent. deku's never chosen to move on from who he was as a child -- the version of himself that bkg is deeply familiar with. it just manifests in new and destructive ways.

deku is earnest and genuine. despite being bullied for years, he never really changed himself. it's only once people he cares about start getting hurt, and he realizes the weight of his own legacy that he starts to hide himself away. but kacchan, especially, sees through that.

because it's reciprocal. because kacchan himself spent years and years hiding himself away. consider the nickname "deku": he came up with it to demonstrate how advanced he was academically compared to izuku, that he knew kanji and deku didn't.

by trying to impose himself as superior, he stifled his own sense of innocence. asserting dominance made him hide away a part of himself for a decade, shown by his lack of real connection to other people before UA. deku felt similarly during vigilante arc, albeit about legacy.

the innocence that deku has, or however you'd like to call the trait -- bkg has it too, and deku brings it out in him. for years, he'd clearly denied that. resentment, inferiority, anger, those emotions took precedence.

but he still lets deku call him kacchan, so it's all there, under the surface. and so, in critical moments, he reverts a bit to his younger self. he uses more youthful terminology. for example, his worry over deku in 284, he uses very "playground" language to call to him.

he does this in a few other instances, such as his more boy-ish way of saying "sorry" in his apology. the apology itself takes both of them through their childhood. it visualizes the world these two inhabit when they are together, the path they took from the past to the present.

his final wish, the part of him that shines through when everything else is stripped away. it's deku. it's a grief and desire for the past they could've had, one where they could've admired all might together, if only he'd chosen differently.

but that childhood that he grieves… it's still there. it was never gone. it's there because deku's still there. i hope bkg makes it back to the past to reclaim it anew. i hope that he brings it back with him when he wakes up. and i hope he creates a new future with deku.

Could I request request Izuku x reader who used to be very naive and pretty outgoing, but is now much more reserved and avoids getting too close to people in the fear of ending up being used and hurt like from many people in the past.

Izuku notices this change because they were good friends few years back until the reader had to move and changed school so they slowly stopped talking.

They still like to hang around with him when they are alone but rather fades in the back when there are others.

The reader isn't like mean or anything and is still sweet when they have to talk to their classmates in school projects etc, but during freetime they just rather stay away.

One day Izuku confronts them about this and they tell him bit esitantly that it's just easier to stay safe alone than get hurt by people you really trusted and cared about.

(after that they kinda panic for being 'too open up' with him)

So I made HCs because this is for a longer period of time. So this is like they were friends in the first year of junior high and before that, but the reader moved away and then returned a few years later to start in UA. I’m not sure if that’s what you meant but that’s how I wrote it. This request kinda has the problem of too much stuff in on request and too many details, so I just tried to pick the major points

•You were a very kind and open person when he first got to know you, and became good friends quite quickly

•You had many friends but a lot of those friendships ended in betrayal or just ended up going to crap in some other way

•Midoriya started to notice a change in you as you got more and more reserved and quiet

•You didn’t really trust anyone anymore, because you’d been let down so many times by people close to you

•You knew Midoriya most likely wouldn’t betray your trust, but you didn’t want to take the chance, so you sort of distanced yourself from him

•Sure you still hang out with him sometimes, but you don’t really open up about yourself anymore

•When you moved, you lost contact with him and you ended up being pretty lonely

•You sometimes considered contacting him, but you always decided not to, because you figured he didn’t want to hear from you since he hadn’t contacted you either

•Midoriya of course figured you didn’t want anything to do with him anymore, because you didn’t contact him, so you both pretty much misunderstood the situation

•When you started at UA you noticed you had a familiar classmate

•It was kind of awkward, because both of you thought the other didn’t want anything to with each other anymore

•But Midoriya gathered his courage and came to talk to you one day during lunch

•You talked some, catching up a bit on what had been going on your lives and you of course got a lot of surprises, like him having a quirk now and stuff like that

•You mostly listened and asked him some questions about things, but you didn’t really go into detail about your own life and what had happened in the couple of years you hadn’t heard from each other

•A few weeks later Midoriya confronts you about how the two of you lost contact and how bad he always felt about it

•But he also brings up the fact that he’s worried about you, because you seem very lonely and you’re not at all like he remembered you to be back in junior high

•You just tell him it’s easier not to get close to people and then get used and hurt by them, because that just seemed to always happen to you

•Midoriya just looks at you with his mouth open for a while and asks if that’s why you distanced yourself from him, because you thought he would end up hurting you

•You’re like “better safe than sorry”, but you don’t really feel like talking about it because you feel like you’ve already said too much

•For a second he doesn’t think about what he’s doing and he just hugs you, but as soon as he realizes what he did, he lets you go and apologizes profusely

•You’re just sort of standing there, not sure what to do or how to feel about what he just did

•Midoriya starts telling you he doesn’t want you to be so alone anymore and he wants to be your friend again

•You just nod slightly without even realizing it and he’s just smiling widely at you

“Oh! Uh nothing! I’m just thinking of ways to study better…! Heh.” He responds in a panic, receiving a ‘I totally believe you’ look from you.

“Sureeee. And I’m Batman.” You respond in a very sarcastic tone. The one Izuku loves to hear, it makes his heart skip a beat.

“But um, Y/N?” “That's my name, ‘Zuku.”

“Can I talk to you for a moment? In private? Please?”

Y/N stares at the boy for a moment before giving him a silent nod.

When they’re outside, Izuku finds a tree under the shade, he’s breathing heavily and he’s visibly shaking.

He lets go of Y/N’s wrist and takes a deep breath.

“What’s up, bro?”

God that word brings so much pain.

“Well um… Y/N I’ve liked you for so long and no matter what happened, you were always right there. You made me feel like the best person to ever walk the earth and-“

Izuku is too busy talking to notice your wide eyes and how you look almost…disappointed?

“Let me stop you there.” You interrupted his sentence and he takes a look at you finally.

Did you always look this aggravated?

“I’m sorry but you’re only my friend. For fucks sake, I call you my little brother to my friends and family.” Y/N’s tone is no longer warm but cold.

Izuku’s heart. Shattered into two.

‘Don’t cry. Don’t cry. Don’t cry.’ He repeats in his head over and over, drowning out your voice. He cannot bear the rejection, even though he knew it may come.

He runs off in a flash, not wanting to hear it. The last thing he heard from you clearly was you yelling his name.

Izuku is now in his room. Pillow in his chest and crying.

“H-how could I be so stupid..?” He cries into his pillow.

‘How could he ever love me..?’

a/n: i listened to mary on a cross on REPEAT while writing this pls forgive the song references. i've also read all of the manga but i haven't watched the new season so i apologize if its not up to date (i didn't want to spoil things that weren't out yet lmao)

You sighed, staring at your phone for the umpteenth time.

He'd call, right? He always called.

Izuku- your boyfriend of almost three months- had been radio silent for the past week. You were terrified. You knew, of course, that he could just be busy with his hero work and school, what with him being at UA and you being homeschooled by your father. However, the nagging thought that something happened to him was always on your mind.

Your father was his sworn enemy, despite looking like an elbow and being literally over 100 years old. You'd thought he'd grow out of the obsession with Midoriya, but he hadn't, and it had only grown worse recently after the huge fight between All Might and All For One.

Yeah. Your father was All For One, holder of quirks that could change the very being of a person.

Sighing again, you glanced back down at your phone. Your message remained unanswered, a question that had been pestering you since you started dating Izuku.

Are you sure you want to do this?

He'd fallen first, and he'd fallen hard. You tried your best to keep your distance, to make sure that you stayed away, because lord knows what your father would do if he found out you were not only dating, but possibly in love with someone who you were supposed to hate. His goal was for you to track down and take his quirk once you were of age, then take his quirk. He sent you letters from his jail cell whenever possible, encoded with secret messages and hints on how to get to Midoriya. You'd burned every last one.

A tap at the window made you look up, bringing you out of your jumbled thoughts. There, standing at your window, was Izuku Midoriya, dressed in winter clothing and looking sheepish as he motioned for you to let him inside. Rushing to your feet, you hurried and unclasped the window latch, hands shaking as you did so.

"'Zuku?" You asked, staring at him dumbly. "Why're you here?"

He smiled, dusting off his clothes and taking his shoes off to set in the corner of your room (always tidy, always neat).

"Well, considering I haven't seen you in a week and you're doubting me again, I thought I'd drop by and convince you otherwise."

Guilt flooded your mind. He was upset, wasn't he? No matter how many times he told you that it was okay, and that he wanted this relationship, you couldn't help but be skeptical. Skeptical and scared. What if he was using you to get to your dad? What if he didn't want to be with you at all, and he was really just scared of what you could do? You'd been born with a myriad of quirks, after all. Turns out your father's experiments had accidentally passed an abnormal amount of quirks to you, and you were stuck with the consequences. While you didn't have your father's main quirk - All For One - you had several offshoots that he stole from others. Various elemental quirks, a couple shape-shifting ones, some that had to do with illusions, others with fighting, and it was terrifying. You were scared to use them, scared to even find out the true extent of your powers. If you were scared of yourself, how scared was Izuku of you? Was that why he stayed? What if he never liked you? What if-

"(y/n)?"

You looked up, startled.

"You okay? I've been trying to get your attention for like, five minutes."

Staring at him, everything you'd been worrying about rushed through your mind on top speed.

"Do you..." you started, trailing off. Midoriya waited, saying nothing. He waited for you to finish your sentence, but didn't pester or discourage you.

"Do you still... want this? Want me? I could really hurt you, 'Zuku."

He opened his mouth to respond, but you pressed on, too wound up to stop speaking once you started.

"I mean, there's always the possibility that you never wanted me and you're just trying to get to my dad, right? Or that you're on a mission to take me out before I can hurt someone. Or that you're secretly here to use me and manipulate me emotionally so that I'll kill my father for you and that way you don't have to do anything. Or that you're too scared of me to tell me that you don't want to do this, because you're worried I'll hurt you."

The words rushed out in a blur, and when you shut your mouth, there were tears pricking at the corners of your eyes. You looked down, unable to meet Midoriya's eyes.

He said nothing for a long moment, standing with you in silence. Then a hand slowly lifted your face up to look at him, forcing you to meet his eyes.

They really were windows to the soul, you thought, watching how the colors in his irises seemed to swirl and change the longer you stared. Izuku had always worn his heart on his sleeve, after all, and you could see it in his eyes.

"If I didn't want this, why would I be standing in your room right now, reassuring you that I do, in fact, still want you?"

You opened your mouth, then closed it, then opened it again.

He has a point.

"Listen, (y/n), I like you. I like you a lot. I like how when you get timid you can't make eye contact with me because you're not used to speaking your mind. I like how you're independent. I like how you've broken free from the chains holding you back. I like the way your eyes light up when you see something you like and how you laugh when you're nervous and how you scrunch your nose when you don't like something. I'll say it a million times if I have to," Midoriya said to you, still looking directly into your eyes. He was close enough to count the freckles on his cheeks, so you did.

Eight freckles. Hm.

Something inside you wanted to know if he had more freckles on his arms, legs, chest, everywhere. Something inside you felt warm and fuzzy at the idea of him staying long enough for him to let you do that. Something inside you wanted to stare at him and count those eight freckles over and over again until he fell asleep or laughed and twirled you around and around to make you so dizzy you couldn't see straight enough to count anymore.

"Your beauty never, ever, scared me. I promise. There's nothing about you I could be terrified of. You have more than one quirk? I've got more than one quirk. We're a match, (y/n), quirk for quirk, eye for eye, scar for scar."

The tears that had been hitting the corners of your eyes finally started to fall, and you let them, blinking slowly through them.

"To hell with your father, okay? I don't care about that- that thing. Sure, he wouldn't approve of this, but when has that ever stopped you, or me, from doing something we want to?"

You nodded carefully, subconsciously leaning into the hand that was holding your face up so you'd look at Midoriya.

"I," you started, choking on a breath as you hiccupped a little.

"I just don't want him to hurt you. I don't want to see you hurt when I can't do anything to help."

He nodded, looking thoughtful for a second before speaking again.

"Come to UA with me."

You stared at him. Was he insane? UA was for heroes. Heroes. You were a daughter of the most infamous villains in Japan. There's no way you'd be accepted there.

"We could work something out, I'm sure our teacher would love to have you in our class."

He was smiling now, to himself or to you, you couldn't tell.

"Are you sure? I mean, I know he's not here right now, but what happens when he gets back and finds me missing?"

You knew, logically, that it was unlikely All For One would ever get out of prison. However, this was your father Izuku was talking about. He was one crafty son of a bitch.

"We'd protect you. C'mon (y/n), don't you want to be free?"

The way he spoke sounded so hopeful, so happy, that you didn't want to deny him the chance. It wouldn't hurt to try, right?

"Okay," you said softly, the corners of your mouth turning up a bit.

"Okay?" he asked, and you nodded.

"Great! Let me make a few calls and we can start-"

You grabbed his hand, quick to cut him off.

"Um, can that wait until tomorrow? It's been a week since I last saw you and I was kinda hoping that... maybe we could just hang out a bit?"

Midoriya gave you that closed-eye smile you loved, pulling you over to your bed and grabbing your laptop from the nightstand, putting it in between the two of you.

"Yeah. Yeah we can, (y/n)."

A few weeks after that, your father did escape from prison. By then, however, you were safe at UA, learning to become one of the heroes who would stop your dad in his tracks.

And if he came back to a very strongly worded letter that you may have accidentally-on-purpose left in plain sight for him to see, well, that was your business.

BNHA Chapter 362 Spoilers

It’s been a hot year since I last posted my spoiler thoughts on My Hero Academia, but I need to talk about Chapter 362 because holy shit. Buckle up, ‘cause this is LONG:

I was screaming and internally crying all night last night when I read the summary of this chapter. Bakugo is probably dead. The second main protagonist of this story might be dead. This is probably the most shocking thing I’ve seen in MHA since Deku left UA and Bakugo apologized. Like, I was flabbergasted.

I am still devastated, but I have to give props to Horikoshi for having the titanium balls to even do this. He’s killed off characters in this story before, but this is truly something else. Nighteye, for example, was so, so sad. I cried for his death. Bakugo’s death absolutely stunned me because I never thought Horikoshi would do this.

Also, Horikoshi is a sadistic evil genius for making this the last chapter before holiday break in Japan next week. So basically, Shonen Jump’s on break and we’re not getting chapters of a lot of manga for 2 whole weeks including MHA. Horikoshi straight up left us on Bakugo’s possible death for 2 fucking weeks.

I also wonder how long Horikoshi has been planning this because you know he loves playing the long game.

So, Katsuki Bakugo. Yeah, he looks pretty dead in that last panel. I don’t think he’s perma-dead personally. There’s still some of his quirk going on in his left eye and I doubt Horikoshi would really kill off one of, if not the, best character in his series permanently. Horikoshi also said that Bakugo would have a BIG moment in this final arc and that really hasn’t happen yet. Yeah, that massive cluster was awesome, but it lasted not even half a chapter. Bakugo still has a bigger role to play.

I gotta say, though, putting in that flashback of when Bakugo and Deku got those All Might trading cards and revealing that Bakugo’s been carrying his in his pocket the entire series breaks my heart into a million pieces. He really does idolize All Might and him looking up to his vestige only solidifies that. God, that genuine smile though. I’m ruined, guys.

Also Bakugo still thinking of how he’s going to match IZUKU while on Death’s Door is both so sweet and so devastating.

Now, what’s going to happen to Bakugo from here. Honestly, I don’t know. Again, I don’t think he’s going to die forever, but there’s a few things that could happen:

Eri: We don’t know where she is now, but they could bring her back to Rewind Bakugo’s body to before it got crushed by Shigi/AFO. We don’t know if her Quirk works on dead body’s though.

Bakugo Stays Dead: This would make the manga as a whole so much more somber, but Deku’s reaction would make him lose his shit. I can see him being so sad and angry that he absolutely wrecks so many people without a hint of rational thinking. I don’t like seeing my green son hurt, but it would be really good storytelling and character development if it did happen.

Bakugo is in Limbo and his Spirit is in The Vestige World: This is what I think is happening right now. It’s really, really interesting that Bakugo saw All Might’s vestige before he died. Before, the only living person who witnessed this was Deku. So, why Bakugo?

Connection with OFA: Bakugo did have OFA in the 2nd movie, albeit briefly. I think the 2nd movie is canon, but it’s only been hinted at in the main manga with Nine having a brief appearance. Similar to how Melissa from the 1st movie is hinted at with her inventions being in the main manga. If the 2nd movie is canon, then it would be possible that Bakugo would still have hints OFA still in him and that could bring him to the vestige world. I can’t imagine what it’d be like if Deku found out about Bakugo’s death like THIS.

Relation to the 2nd OFA User: AFO said that Bakugo remind him of the 2nd User. We also had a panel in a previous chapter that compared the two as well. My theory of Bakugo being a decedent of the 2nd User is becoming more true, I think. This would give Bakugo more of a connection to OFA, the Vestige World, and the 2nd User’s Quirk maybe. Maybe that Quirk could bring him to life.

Bottom line: I think Bakugo is dead for now, but he’ll be back. Not sure how or when, but he has to come back. Horikoshi knows that Bakugo is too important of a character to be killed off for pure shock value. Katsuki Bakugo is not done yet.
