Gamora not ending up with Peter subvert our “soul-mate” expectations. In another life, Peter and Gamora were soulmates. They grew and made each other better and their love was sincere. But that Gamora is gone.

I see posting these a lot so I thought I’d make of post of “dream threads” or threads I’d like to play.

They’re mostly with variants of my characters or people close to my characters but I love the idea of variants/different time lines and what if stories.

If you like to explore any of these with me, let me know! If we aren’t mutuals/haven’t played before I would prefer you read some of the links I have on my OC Cherry so you understand these subjects better.

- [ ] A Wong who comes from a world where his Strange is very much a dictator/fascist and convinces Wong to give up his Cherry for the “greater good”. Which probably means either sacrificing her life for a spell or enchantment or possibly striking a deal with that world’s Norman and gives her back to him.

- [ ] A Cherry who, after the death of her family, ends up in Kamar Taj instead of under Norman’s thumb. She becomes a sorcerer but doesn’t fall in love with Wong, but with Daniel Drumm, the London Sanctum Master.She desperately misses her family and ends up with Kaecillius’ zealots, when Kaecillius kills Daniel, he convinces Cherry it us Stephen and the Ancient One’s fault. Somehow instead of ending up in the dark dimension she ends up in Prime’s universe enraged and feral

- [ ] A variant of Cherry’s little sister Flora who lives instead of Cherry when their family dies. So she goes through what Cherry did but her attitude is extraordinarily different than Cherry. She’s colder, closed off, and quick to anger. Not sure of all details of this one as I still need to think what her relationship with Tony and the Others would be like.

- [ ] And ones not based on variants would be, finally outing Wong as Emmy’s dad

- [ ] Cherry finding a relic that causes the goddess of her amulet to possess her

I just want to point out that the Loki love triangle is wonky. I know we all get the Sylvie stuff is odd, but this is about Don.

Loki's fixing-his-hair-and-coat-crush on Don, and Don's dropping-that-he's-single-crush are like a whole separate thing than Loki and Mobius's universe-altering-love.

Loki's reactions to Don are likely because of his feelings for Mobius, and Don's reactions show that Mobius has the capacity to like Loki in the future.

However, when Loki said "It's who" in that iconic scene, I think he was realizing that this man is Don, NOT Mobius. He wants to save the world for HIS Mobius, and that's the "who" he was talking about.

I really want to clarify my stance on this, because all the Loki's were shown to be very different. However, the one variant on Mobius we see still looks like Mobius. But they aren't the same.

And I don't think that the Loki we saw get his throne would ever really date Don, and I don't think our Mobius who let time pass would date a different Loki variant (unless his memories were wiped or something idk).

BUT I do think that if both the Loki and Mobius variants were different, it could work. Such as if there was a variant set that broke off on the 1893 date. And maybe the Lego variants of them.

Anyway, I'm just figuring out how to plan fanfics. Because I don't want every fic to end with "and then Loki came out of the tree and everything was all good." I want to explore multiple angles of how Lokius could come to pass.
