Ganymede: Path of the Divine

Im starting a series where I draw classic Greek mythos characters (probably mostly heroes and lovers or those who seek/become immortal like for instance Ganymede, Psyche, etc.) into Dnd/playable characters! I’m not doing any character stats but I’m making the base so if anyone ever wants to use them, feel free! I’d love to know though so I can see my characters are doing stuff!

So onto the character stuff (also I changed some things from the Og story):

Ganymede, once a great and pretty little prince was chosen as the cupbearer of the gods. At 17 he departed home and began his duties as dutifully as he could. A few years pass and he begins to grow homesick. He begs Lord Zeus to allow him to visit his family and his home. The lord of the sky sadly tells him that they’re all gone. Time passes very differently on Olympus then in the mortal world, it’s been a few hundred years. He even realizes that he’s been with the gods so long that he’s almost completely forgotten his native tongue. He wears the clothes of the gods too. He’s hardly even himself anymore in his eyes. Ganymede, heartbroken and feeling lost asks if he can go down to the mortal world and try and find something, anything of his old life. Zeus obliges him on the condition that he’ll return as the divine cupbearer. Ganymede accepted the condition and departed the hall of the gods. Zeus requested that he keep his enchanted amphorae with him. It can grow and shrink at will, the perfect portable serving container for divine wine. It grants Ganymede the ability to channel the great gods power through it to protect himself on his epic quest. Now at 27, Ganymede leaves to find himself.

Sing of the iced frost, oh muse.

I finished! God this took a while. According to procreate: almost 4 hours none stop drawing. Which doesn’t sound like much but ughhhhh. I also had to keep going back and fixing things like I forgot his legging and when I was writing this, I noticed his hand was still frostbitten in the final picture and it shouldn’t have been.

Anywho for anyone who doesn’t know, this is from my fic, “Prince of first, God of Blood.” It’s a raised by Demeter au that has nothing to do with Demeter and is basically reverse Hades where Zagreus is trying to break into the underworld. I call it the crystal blood au and in the fic his name is Kruós. Kruós means frost! A little detail before I go is that the green ribbon around his neck isn’t mentioned in the story but is something that Demeter is holding on her sprite and Persephone wears in her hair.

Impulse redesign! So I recently started bootlegging reading the '98 Young Justice and I like it. It's funny and the artist just does whatever they want.

I don't have a lot of design notes besides I wanted Bart to have a futuristic design. I don't think I accomplished that but I do like the costume I gave him. I think he had wings on either his heels or the side of his head but I attached him to his headphones. Maybe they block out the noise of the wind while holding his visor or maybe they're just for music. In conclusion, he babie

Me and my friend made PJO ocs. Today I present:

Amets Brizo, son of Hypnos.

I don't know what to say that isn't in his little description so I'm gonna say a little about him, his past, and his personality.

His favorite song is probably Rises the Moon by Liana Flores. He's a rather spacey guy since he's always pretty sleepy though he likes to join the Hermes cabin in pulling pranks. Whenever another cabin makes him angry though, they tend to have trouble sleeping for a week. He really likes comics since its one of the few outside world entertainment he can get from inside camp since no tv's and no cellphones. Though most of his time (like all the other Hypnos kids) is spent sleeping. I like to think the Hypnos kids help out the camp while they sleep and they're not actually just lazy. Maybe at night they're constantly hoping into other campers dreams making sure they're not having nightmares so that's why they're so tired in the morning despite having been asleep the entire night. Either way Amets helps people sleep and forget/recover memories they want or want to forget. As someone who never stops singing I like to think that all my OCs have some musical talent but Amets here has what I like to call the "Jigglypuff curse," (anytime he sings, everyone listening passes out unless they maxed out their constitution stat). He got those giant scars on his ankle from when a few monsters decided to try and attack the camp. Amets ran into battle, fists blazing and had the misfortune of being grabbed by a chimera. He was pretty sure he was going to die when his half-brother (neither knew at the time since they got claimed pretty recently) saved his life by practically taking the brunt of the blow for him. That's when he and Mak became best fucking friends. That's my friend's oc who's drawn with Amets at the bottom. <3

Also! If you've read all the way here, thank you <3 but I'm also writing an x reader fic for PJO that I have dubbed the cuddle fic. It's more plot than straight cuddling but if ya'll want I can have a straight cuddle fic

The Left and Right Brain of Me!

One time, one of my friends said something like "there's two dudes in your head. One is wearing Hawaiian shirts and the other is wearing a distinguished Victorian clothes," so I wanted to draw that. Originally i was gonna draw three dudes, two were the ones she had pictured while the third was in like a bard outfit. I cropped off the third one and just combined their vibe into the other two. Since I had two left I kind of figured that, that one was my left brain and the other was my right brain. I thought it would be cool if my left brain was greyscale since data and processing while the right would be vibrant and saturated since creativity and stuff. I really like how they turned out!

It would also be sick if this could be like an art challenge or just inspiration if you're on an art block.
