“I need to speak to Agent Prentiss and one of her superiors.” a voice roamed through the bullpen, a voice that was oddly familiar, yet you couldn’t assign it to a specific person. The whole team was gathered in the conference room for the morning briefing, which was interrupted by Emily shooting up from her seat the second she heard the familiar to you voice.
“She’s in the briefing ma’am” an agent replied.
“Yes. Well, this is extremely important.” the dark-haired woman said sternly with no intention of giving up.
The raven-haired agent left the conference room in a hurry.
“Mother?!” Emily exclaimed. That’s it, that’s why the voice sounded familiar. Even though you have never met Ambassador Elizabeth Prentiss in person, you have overheard the few conversations she would have with Emily over the months. And despite knowing exactly who the woman standing in the middle of the bullpen was, you were aware of the fact that she had no idea about your existence.
You and Emily were open about your relationship to the whole of BAU, of course keeping your professionalism at work. Despite that, your girlfriend never disclosed your relationship to any members of her family, never made any attempts at coming out. As she once said, she ‘didn’t want to cause unnecessary drama’, which being open about her sexuality definitely would. You didn’t mind it, Emily wasn’t close to her family, often opting to stay away from them as much as possible. It was her choice to make after all.
Ambassador Prentiss didn’t arrive to the BAU for no reason, she had reasons to believe her friends husband was abducted by Russian mafia. The team, of course, took the case.
***
The agents were split into teams and sent off to complete their assigned tasks. Gideon, Spencer and Morgan were ordered to go to Baltimore where they would further split. Morgan’s part included visiting the victim’s house, where Gideon and Spencer were going to meet with a fellow agent in hopes of making new connections to the case. You and Emily stayed at Quantico. As the only member of the BAU fluent in Russian you were tasked with the role of the translator and Emily was there to help her mother make any arrangements that would contribute to the case.
You knew your girlfriend and her mother were not close, what you didn’t realise was how the latter woman’s presence will impact Emily’s well-being.
“Hey, you.” You said in a soft voice as you entered the restroom “how are you feeling?” you added in an almost whisper as you stepped closer to her. The raven-haired woman was standing by the mirror, covering her face with her hands.
“I’m doing great!” she replied sarcastically and chuckled. You wrapped your hands around the woman’s waist and turned her around in your arms. Emily weakly smiled as you pressed a gentle kiss on her lips.
“I can’t imagine how hard this must be for you Em.” you said softly and brushed some of Emily’s hair behind her ear, letting her relax in your embrace.
“Every time my mother is around, I feel like I’m 15 again, y/n/n” Emily whispered as she buried her face in the crook of your neck and pulled you closer. “I feel like I can’t be who I really am, like I’m doing something wrong. I know she would never accept me if she found out about us, I’ve always known that. But it’s easy to bury it deep in my head, and when she’s around it’s like a constant reminder that I will never be good enough for her.”
“You don’t have to prove anything to her Emmy” you muttered as you placed a kiss on the side of your girlfriend’s head. “She’s truly blind is she can’t see what an amazing person her daughter is, always will be and always has been.”
“You know I love you, right?” Emily breathed with her head still buried in your neck. “I don’t want you to ever think that I’m ashamed of us, of you.”
“I know honey.”  you quietly replied while stroking her hair “Now come on, the sooner we get out there the faster this whole thing will be over.” you spoke up as the older woman raised her head from your shoulder.
The two of you shortly left the bathroom to rejoin your team and help solve the case as fast as possible.
***
As you anticipated it didn’t take long to solve the case, what came as a surprise to all of you was that it was the Victim’s daughter, Natalya, that was responsible for the kidnapping. You and Emily returned to your shared apartment the same evening, both happy to have some tome for one another. The raven-haired woman immediately flopped on the couch in the middle of the living room. You were relieved to see her demeanour immediately switch to her old self when you entered your apartment.
“I’m so glad it’s over.” Emily sighed as she tried to flip her shoes off her feet without standing up from the couch. You chuckled at the sight of the older agent struggling due to her own laziness.
“Need a hand with that?” you asked sarcastically as you raised your eyebrow, you started heading towards your kitchen to get some drinks for the two of you.
“No, I’m… good! I just need… to… loosen up the laces… and I-“ Emily didn’t manage to finish her sentence as the shoe flung off her foot. Thanks to your luck and your girlfriend’s unintentional aim the shoe hit you on the back of your head. You took a deep breath and turned around to face Emily, now covering her mouth in an unsuccessful attempt to supers her laugh.
“I’m so sorry y/n/n I didn’t mean to!” Emily laughed as she lifted herself off of the couch and started heading in your direction.
“You’re lucky you’ve had a bad day, I wouldn’t let go of it that easy otherwise.” you giggled as you rubbed the back of your head. “Here you go.” you added as you handed a glass of red wine to Emily. The woman took a sip and put it back on the counter.
“I think I know how to make it up to you” Emily smirked as she grabbed you by your waist, pulled you closer to her, and kissed you deeply. She then pushed you into the countertop leaving kisses all over your neck, her hands finding their way underneath your shirt. You let your hands roam all over your girlfriend’s body as you pulled your head back, giving her easier access to your neck. You let out a quiet moan as Emily’s lips sucked on your pulse point sending chills all over your body. You started to sloppily unbutton Emily’s shirt, throwing it off of her shoulders and onto the floor. The older woman, not wanting to waste any time, pulled your shirt over your head and threw it on the kitchen floor where it joined the other article of clothing.
She picked you up and pushed you further onto the countertop, where you allowed your legs to wrap around her waist. As Emily began to unbutton your trousers you heard a knock to your door.
“Are you expecting someone?” you questioned and looked at Emily. The other woman shook her head. You got off of the countertop when you heard the knock again.
“I’ll check it out” you added as you quickly put your shirt back on. You got to the door and opened it in a hurry, ready to tell off the person interrupting your time with your girlfriend. You immediately stopped in your tracks as you saw the person standing outside your front door. “Ambassador Prentiss” you stuttered as your eyes went wide open.
“Is this not the address of my daughter, Emily?” she said, visibly confused. It was indeed the address of her daughter, and she was about to find out that it was yours too.
“Mom?! What are you doing here?” Emily choked out as she joined you by the door. Her half buttoned up shirt did not make the situation any better.
“Well, I wanted to visit you and see how you live, considering that I’m in town” the ambassador said sternly, looking back at her daughter as she pushed past you right into the apartment. “What is she doing here?”
Emily didn’t immediately respond not sure how to get out of this situation. The silence between the three of you grew more and more uncomfortable.
“I just stopped by after work to borrow a book Emily has mentioned to me recently” you chimed in, hoping her mother would believe you.
“No, y/n, I’m tired of this” Emily started as she stepped closer to you and wrapped her arm around your waist.
“Emily what are you-“ you wanted to protest but she didn’t give you a chance.
“She lives here, mother.” your girlfriend announced as her mother’s facial expression remained unchanged. “We’ve been dating for over a year, I love her and I’m not going to apologize for that or hide it from everyone, not anymore.”
You couldn’t decipher the expression on the ambassador’s face. Even though you knew it wasn’t anything good you didn’t expect what was about to come next.
“I’m so disgusted I can’t even” Elizabeth stated as she looked at you and her daughter, Emily’s arm still wrapped around your waist. “I’m disgusted by you, I wish I’d known when you were born that you were going to betray me like this.” The woman growled as she turned around and left the apartment.
You looked at Emily, a tear falling down her cheek.

Reaching over, you take Marcus’s hand and lift it up to your lips, pressing a quick kiss to the back of it before you look back at the road. He was upset, understandably so, with the news that both of you had just received, but it hits him harder. You know the female version of the hell he is going through right now.
You had been going through it silently every month when your period had started, when your pregnancy tests were coming back negative. The soul crushing worry that you weren’t able to have a baby. That something was wrong with you and your dream - Marcus’s dream - of having a family was all for nothing. “Baby, it’s okay. We can adopt, we can just not have kids.” You promise him. “All that matters is that I love you and you love me.”
Marcus is shell shocked. Unable to believe that his dream is crushed. His ears are ringing and you are saying something but it didn’t compute as he stared at the microscopic photo of his semen - lacking any sperm. Something called Azoospermia and he cannot believe all those years of dreaming of a family of his own has vanished. He vaguely hears you say something about adoption and he knows that is something to consider - there’s nothing more honorable than giving a child a home - but he is grieving for the child he will never have. “I love you too” He finally murmurs, still swept up in a bevy of emotions.
The rest of the drive home is silent, keeping your hand in his until you finally have to pull away gently to put the car in park outside the charming two story house that Marcus had bought when he transferred to D.C. While it had been bought with another woman in mind, you and he had made it your home since the two of you had met and married the following year. “Let’s go inside, honey.” You unbuckle your seatbelt and twist in your seat after the engine is off, reaching out and cupping his cheek. “You don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to. But I’ll listen.” You promise him.
Marcus doesn’t say a word as you unlock the front door and guide him inside after turning off the alarm. He stands in the hallway and chokes on the sob that makes its way up his throat. Being home has made reality crush down on him and he can’t imagine his kid running up to him like he used to when he would come home from work while you were trying to get pregnant. He collapses on the wooden floor and covers his face as he cries.
Sinking down next to him and wrap your arms around him to hold him close. You don’t bother telling him that it’s okay. You know that for him, it’s not, and it never will be. He, like a lot of men, felt like it was his job to give you children. A part of his duty. Learning that he couldn’t ever do that was tearing at the fundamental fabric of what he felt it was to be a man. He wasn’t macho, he never tried to take that stance, but giving you kids was something he had always wanted - overjoyed when he found out you wanted them too. Instead, you kiss his shoulder and just provide the warmth and security of your presence while he mourns the legacy he won’t have.
****
A couple of weeks pass by and Marcus is coming to terms with the fact that he won’t ever be able to have children of his own. It’s hard but he is getting close to acceptance. You’ve been looking into options, adoption and even sperm donors. He isn’t sure right now, still processing the news, and focusing on work. He is working on a case with the CIA and he is teamed up with Dave York. A man who bears a startling resemblance to him, which Dave also noticed and said “it’s nice to be working with someone as handsome as me.” Marcus has been pensive, mulling over his options until one afternoon he asks Dave if he wants to get a drink after work which leads to both men currently sitting in a bar sipping their beers.
Dave takes a mouthful of the sudsy beer and watches Marcus from the corner of his eye. He seems like there is something wrong and sighs to himself at the prospect of having the poor bastard pour his heart out to him about how his wife was leaving him or some equally depressing shit. “Something tells me you didn’t ask me out for a drink because you find me sexy, Pike.” He chuckles, turning his body slightly on the barstool. “So why are we here drinking?”
Marcus chuckles before he sighs, looking down at his beer. “I- I’ve been told I can’t have kids. Some condition called Azoospermia. Basically, I have no swimmers. None. My wife and I have been trying to get pregnant for a year and finally sought out help. She was worried it was her but it turns out it’s been me the entire time” He chuckles humorlessly. “I- I noticed you and I look alike. Almost exactly. I swear we were separated at birth” He chuckles nervously, “and I- I wanted to ask if you-” He takes a deep breath, “if you would be open to being a sperm donor.”
If he had been drinking, he would have choked on the beer. Instead, his brow wings up and he grunts. “Huh.” Watching Marcus closely, he notices that he’s nervous, probably expecting to be turned down flat. “It would make sense.” He says after a moment, leaning back and reaching for his bottle again. “People would never know you weren’t the biological father, since we look alike.” He takes another sip of his beer. “What does your wife think about this?”
“I haven’t spoken to her about it yet. I just - I wanted to see if you’d be open to it. I know it’s a lot to ask and I can pay you if you want money. I just- I want a child that looks like me to some degree, not some random guy and you- you’re a good guy. You seem to be a good man and I would like my child to have good genes.” Marcus finishes with a small grunt, nerves raging through him.
Dave snorts, shaking his head. “You know what alphabet group I work for, Pike.” He reminds the other man softly. He understands wanting to see yourself in your kids. He loves the way that Molly’s nose would wrinkle or Alice’s surprisingly dry humor. Bits of him that he is leaving behind. “You have to know that there are things that I’ve done that would probably shock even you.”
Marcus nods in understanding, he’s done things that are close to the line. It comes with the job. “I- I don’t - i don’t care about that. I just want a child with my wife. It’s all I’ve wanted. I don’t care how much it costs or what needs to be done. Will you at least consider it?” He almost pleads.
His cock twitches at the idea of getting another woman pregnant. He tips back the bottle of the beer and finishes it before he stands up and reaches for his wallet. “Let’s go.” He tells Marcus, the other man sighing dejectedly. “I want to talk to your wife to make sure she’s on board with this.” He tells him as he pulls out a twenty to cover both drinks. “Not that I don’t trust you, but she should have a say in it too.”
Marcus nods, “we can do that. Lemme call her and we can go back to my house.” Marcus shifts to pull his cell out of his pocket and he gets your contact.
“Hey baby” You answer the phone and he smiles at the sound of your voice.
“Hey honey. Listen, do you mind if I bring a friend home. Dave York. He’s CIA and we want to discuss a few things” He asks.
“Of course. I have enough dinner if he wants to stay for a meal.” You offer and Marcus loves how generous you are.
“I’m sure he will. See you soon babe” He says and hangs up. “She’s okay with it.” He tells Dave.
Dave smirks and takes his jacket off the back of the chair and shrugs into it. “I’ll follow you over there. That way if she says no, I can just leave.” He tells Marcus. The other man nods and Dave can’t help but wonder if he will agree to the stipulation that Dave will have - depending on how attractive you are.
The entire ride home has Marcus on edge. Both excited and shit scared that you will say no. He prays you won't but he will respect if you do not like the idea. He opens the front door and calls out that he is home. Dave on his heels and he enters the living room to find you there with some beers. "Hey baby" You coo and Marcus strides over to kiss you.
His eyes widen slightly as he realizes that Marcus has a fucking gorgeous wife. His cock twitches again and when Marcus pulls away he nods politely at you and walks over to take the beer that you are offering to him. “Nice to meet you.” He offers. “Dave York.” He wants to make a good impression on you considering what he is going to propose.
Marcus watches Dave with apprehension, hoping he will agree to what Marcus is asking for. “You have a lovely home, Mrs. Pike” He smiles at you and steps closer, “you’re a lucky man Marcus.” Dave offers you a charming smile.
“Thank yo-” You cut yourself off in a giggle, eyes widdening when you realize that the man in front of you looks like your husband’s brother. Although, Marcus only has a sister. “Marcus, did your cousin come into town and you didn’t tell me?” You ask, eyes darting back and forth between the two men. You take the hand that is offered and your skin tingles at the warmth and pressure he puts on your hand, thumb rubbing the back of your hand.
Marcus shakes his head. “No baby. Dave works for the CIA. We are working on a case together and he - we realized how much we look like each other. I invited him for a beer and we got talking.” Marcus is nervous, hoping you don’t shut this down right away. “I was telling him about our…situation.”
“Really?” You’re surprised at that. Marcus hasn’t even told his family about it, not wanting to deal with their sympathy and well meaning suggestions. As far as you know, Dave might be the only other person besides the doctor who knows that Marcus can’t father kids. You squeeze Dave’s hand gently and stroke his arm with your left hand. “Thank you for being someone he can talk to.” You tell him. “It’s been a shock for him.”
Dave smiles, “of course. I understand the struggle. I had issues with my ex wife conceiving our second. She was the one who had issues with her fertility so I completely understand the struggles” Dave offers you a soft smile. “I hope I haven’t overstepped.” He looks over at Marcus, “and I am hoping to be of some help.”
“Help?” You look over to find Marcus blushing furiously and you gesture towards the kitchen. “Well, why don’t we talk about it over dinner.” You offer, knowing Marcus probably needs a second to tell you what is going on. “I made lamb and risotto.” You tell them. “If you are hungry.”
“Sounds delicious” Dave hums. He hasn’t been eating take out and trying to eat better, jog more, but work has been busy. You are soon all seated at the table and the food is served, wine poured and Dave groans as he takes his first bite. “You’re a lucky man, Pike. A beautiful woman who can cook? Damn.” He smirks.
You fluster slightly at the compliment and take a sip of your wine. “I am just as lucky to have him.” You tell Dave, making sure that Marcus knows every day that his issue doesn’t change how you feel about him at all. “So-“ you look over at Marcus. “He’s here to help?”
Marcus nods, “yes baby. I- I asked him to come here to meet you because…because I want him to be our sperm donor.” Marcus confesses and Dave watches you for your reaction, hoping it’s positive so his stipulation is taken well.
You blink a few times and look back and forth between the two of them. “I- you’re serious?” You ask Marcus softly and he bites his lip and nods.
“I'm serious. He looks like me.”
You look back over at Dave and reach for Marcus’ hand. “He does look like you.” You whisper, giddy at the idea that you could possibly have a baby that looks like the man you love. “Okay.” You agree. “If this is what you want, I say yes.”
Dave smiles, happy that you have agreed and Marcus seems ecstatic, a wide grin on his face. He leans over to kiss you softly. “Excellent. I just - I have some conditions.” Dave says.
Marcus nods, having expected something, “go on.”
Dave rubs his lower lip with his thumb. “I want to get her pregnant the old fashioned way” He admits.
Your eyes widen and you look over at Marcus who is nearly choking on his air. “I don’t mind.” You quickly agree, making Marcus swing his gaze over to you. “Think about it, baby. No one has to know. And we don’t have to pay for insemination.” You squeeze his hand and then reach up to caress his cheek. “Are you okay with that, baby? He has to be there.” Your eyes cut over to Dave. “That’s my stipulation.”
Marcus hesitates, not entirely sure about the idea of seeing his wife get fucked by another man but he can see the positives in not having to pay for the insemination. Your savings were swallowed up by costs of the fertility tests. “I want to be there” Marcus finally says.
Dave smirks, “well that will be okay. I just want to make your beautiful wife cum and get her pregnant.”
You shift slightly and you lean in to kiss your husband. “Are you sure you want to do this, baby?” You ask softly, not wanting him to feel like he has to go through with this for you. “We don’t have to.”
“I want to. I want a family with you and I know it’s so selfish but I want a baby that looks a little like me. Not some stranger. I know Dave, he’s a good family man and he knows what needs to be done. I just - I want you to be happy and if this is what it takes, I’m willing to do anything.” Marcus squeezes your hand and Dave nods. “A good father already.”
You look over at Dave and it helps that he does look like your husband. “Okay.” You nod and give him a smile. “Then we do this the old fashioned way. But this is our baby. When you get me pregnant. Mine and Marcus.”
Dave holds his hands up, “absolutely. Your baby. I just- I want to be known as Uncle Dave. I’d like to be involved in some capacity. I wouldn’t dictate anything. I wouldn’t get involved apart from seeing the kid now and then. Uncle Dave” He winks.
You look over at Marcus to see what he thinks about the idea of Dave having a part of your child’s life. “Are you okay with that?” You ask him softly. It’s very different from using an anonymous sperm donor.
Marcus nods, “I am. Birthday invites, soccer games, things like that?” Marcus asks Dave and he nods.
“Yeah. I just want to see them grow up. You will be their parents. No arguments from me. My ex would lose her shit if she found out.”
Marcus nods and sips his wine, “let’s do it. When do you want to try?” He asks Dave.
“Why not tonight?” The man tilts his head and asks you.
You nod quickly, the idea of starting this tonight making your cunt clench. “Yes.” You agree. “We can- you can fuck me after we eat. Better to start now, since we all agree.” You tilt your head curiously. “Why are you agreeing to this?” You ask Dave, wondering what he was getting out of it beyond sex.
Dave sighs, setting his fork down. “I have always wanted more kids but my ex wife…she only wanted two. We have two beautiful girls together and I wanted a third but - but it wasn’t to be. We got divorced and I have no desire to create more connections in my line of work. I doubt I will ever get married again and I wouldn’t want a kid without being able to be there for them so this is the next best thing. I get to bring another child into the world and watch them grow up with two loving parents who look after them and keep them safe.”
It’s touching, the reason he has and it reinforces the idea that he is a good man. You nod and reach for your wine glass. “I better enjoy this then.” You joke before you take a sip. “And I know this is probably none of my business, but you’re not sleeping with anyone? We aren’t stepping on any toes?”
Dave shakes his head, “no. Not sleeping with anyone. I’ve been too busy and going out to bars to flirt isn’t my scene anymore. I usually have my girls every other weekend so I spend my time with them. I’m ready if you are” Dave says to Marcus who nods, eager for you to be pregnant. He’s expressed several times about how he thinks you will be even sexier when full of his baby. Except it won’t be his baby…not really. He will come to terms with that, the excitement overtaking the apprehension and he is eager to finish dinner.
Dinner passes with you learning more about Dave, him assuring you that he doesn’t have any STDs and showing you pictures of his girls. Once you are done, you decide to clean up the kitchen quickly, nervous but you stop when Marcus comes over to you and takes your hand. “Why don’t you go get ready, baby?” He asks softly. “I’ll clean up.”
You nod and Marcus takes over, wiping down the countertops and Dave sits on the barstool, waiting for his instructions. Once Marcus has finished, he looks at Dave. “You ready?” He asks and Dave nods, “let’s do it.” Both men make their way upstairs and Marcus opens your bedroom door, nerves making his hands sweaty but he’s excited.
You feel a little silly but you put on the lingerie that Marcus loves on you. Wanting to make the moment something for him too. You watch the door open and shift up onto your elbow where you are laying on the bed. “Hey baby.” It’s kind of shocking, see them come in together and look so alike. Your pussy clenches again and you realize that your husband is going to watch another man fuck you.
Marcus groans at the sight of you on the bed in his favorite lingerie and Dave silently appraises you. An appreciative hum escapes his lips. “She’s beautiful. You really are lucky Marcus” Dave slaps Marcus on the back.
“Thank you. I- I want to go down on her first. I want to get her ready for you” Marcus says, looking at the other man.
“Be my guest. She’s your wife, pal. Do what you want. I’ll sit here” He gestures to the chair in the corner of the room.
Marcus comes over to you and kisses you eagerly. Your eyes drift over to Dave, sitting in the chair that Marcus uses to put his shoes on in the mornings and moan softly when your husband cups your tits. He’s going to watch and then he’s going to fuck you. “Marcus.” You whimper when he kisses along your jaw and nibbles on your ear. “Please baby.”
Dave works on removing his jacket and kicking off his shoes and socks while he watches Marcus kiss down your neck to your breasts. “So beautiful honey” He murmurs and you sigh when he wraps his lips around your nipple, sucking through the lace of your bra. He slides his hands under your back to unclasp it and pulls it down your arms, tossing it onto the floor near Dave’s feet. The CIA agent drinks in the sight of your tits before Marcus squeezes them.
“Those tits are gonna be beautiful, full of milk for your baby, Pike” Dave declares.
You moan softly at Dave’s words, the idea of that happening making you arch into your husband’s touch. “Our baby.” You whisper, getting wet from the way that Marcus is touching you. He kisses down your chest and flicks his tongue over your nipple to make you gasp, smirking before he sucks it into his mouth. Your eyes make their way back over to Dave, having someone watching distracting you. Making you moan when you find that he’s starting to tent his trousers with an obviously good sized cock.
Marcus pays attention to your tits before kissing down your stomach, a soft groan escaping his lips when he reaches for your panties, tugging them down. He spreads your legs and admires your glistening folds. "Fuck baby. You're so gorgeous" He murmurs, leaning down to slide his tongue through your folds.
“Marcus!” You cry out at the warmth and strength of his tongue. He is always so generous, giving and eager to make sure that you are having fun in bed with him. Your hips roll up and your fingers tangle into his hair with the ease of practice. “God baby, that tongue is so good.” You whine, looking down at his dark eyes as he licks into you. Then over to Dave when he is palming his cock as he watches your husband eat you out.
Dave appreciates a man who can go down on his wife. He loves the little whimpers and moans that escape your lips as he rubs his cock through his slacks. He can't wait to get inside of that pretty little cunt. Marcus is trying to get as deep as possible, sliding his tongue deep into your cunt while his nose nudges your clit and his hand squeezes your breast.
It’s exciting, having another set of eyes on you. You had never really thought about it much but you find that knowing that someone is watching makes everything you feel that much more intense. You rock your hips up and pant out his name while he curls his tongue inside you and his fingers pinch your nipples. Gasping when he tugs gently and feeling your walls close around his tongue.
Marcus groans, eagerly lapping up every drop you offer him. A grunt escaping when he curls his tongue deep to lap up your cum. You squirm beneath him and he works you through it, his cock hard and throbbing. He wishes he could slide into you, get you pregnant, but he can’t so he shifts back onto his haunches and looks at Dave. “Are you ready?” He asks.
You look from Marcus to Dave, wanting to make sure that your husband is completely okay with this. Even if it is his idea, you know that he could change his mind. “You know that if you change your mind, we will stop?” You tell Marcus softly. “This is what you want, right?”
Marcus nods, leaning down to softly kiss you. “I want this” He promises and Dave stands up, working on removing his tie and shirt, soon off, he works on removing his pants. His eyes meet yours as he pushes his briefs down, exposing his hard cock.
“Oh.” Your eyes widen slightly at the sight of the other man’s cock. Marcus might have him beat on length, but the girth of the other man. Your cunt clenches and you know that he is thicker than any other man you’ve ever slept with before. “Shit.” You glance up to find him smirking slightly as he wraps his large hand around himself and barely can touch his fingers together. You bite your lip and give him a small nod. “Good thing I’m not sucking your cock.”
Dave chuckles and looks at Marcus. “I wouldn’t ask for that. Are you sure pal?” He asks and Marcus nods.
“I’m sure. I’ll sit down” He says and makes his way over to the chair Dave was sitting in.
Dave shuffles forward towards the bed and kneels on it, looking down at you. “Are you sure?” He asks you.
You reach out and wrap your fingers around his cock, making him jump in your hands. “Yes.” You spread your legs a little wider. “I want you to fuck me. Fill me up with your cum.” You look into his eyes. “Put a baby in me.” You beg.
Marcus can’t help but feel a little sad that it won’t be him, watching Dave as he shuffles closer and notches himself at your entrance before pushing into you. He sighs in bliss at how tight you are and shifts to rest his weight on his elbows. “Good, beautiful?” He asks you.
It pinches. The feel of him stretching out your walls in a way that you are unused to makes you ache. You shift under him and spread your legs wider, cunt clenching down around him. It’s been years since you’ve had anyone else inside you and you close your eyes. “Yes.” You pant out breathlessly. “You- you’re thick, Dave.”
Marcus watches, his cock still hard, and the jealousy of not being able to fulfil his husbandly duties gives way to being turned on at watching you be fucked by another man. You look so beautiful beneath Dave and with the man looking so much like himself, it’s almost like watching a porno of you and him.
You whine and look over at Marcus, watching him while Dave pulls back and slowly pushes back into your cunt. “Oh fuck.” Your lashes flutter and your attention is turned back to Dave when he groans. “You - oh God.” You brace your hand on his shoulder and feel him twitch inside you, dark eyes watching your face.
He can’t believe how tight you are, glancing over at Marcus, he clenches his jaw. “You- you are a lucky man. Such a tight little cunt” He grunts and looks at you, “gonna fill it up. Get you pregnant. You’re gonna look so beautiful full of a baby” Dave grunts and thrusts a little harder.
“Yes!” You cry out softly at the way he pushes inside you. It's rougher than what Marcus normally does and you find your cunt clenching around him. Your nails dig into his skin slightly and you moan quietly. “More, fuck me Dave.”
He rocks into you, harder and faster, his fingers digging into your hips as he groans your name. Marcus watches with rapture, loving the way your whimpers turn into cries and he can feel his cock throbbing.
You wrap your legs around his waist, locking them behind his back and trying to meet his thrusts as he fucks into you. Splitting you open every time he shuffles his hips forward and spears into you with that thick dick of his. “Oh yes.” You pant, looking over at Marcus and moaning when Dave hits deep and pushes against something wonderful inside you.
“Are you going to cum for him, sweetheart?” Marcus asks, squeezing himself through his pants, but he can wait until later. He watches Dave reach up to grip your throat and he stands up, anxiety shocking him but surprise takes over when you loudly moan, asking for more.
You gasp at the hand at your throat, but your cunt squeezes him like a vice, making Dave smirk. "Oh, princess likes that." He coos, tightening his grip a little more while he continues to wreck your pussy with his cock. "You want me to give you more, squeeze your neck while I fuck you full of my cum?" You whine and tighten your legs around him.
You nod frantically and Marcus can’t believe how turned on he is. Groaning as you let Dave fuck you hard and rough. He loves seeing it. His cock throbbing and he wants to see you cum. “Come on baby. Cum for Dave.”
You whine at the way your husband is ordering you to cum on another man’s cock. “Oh fuck, oh fuck.” You ruck your hips up and your eyes are wild. “Harder.” You beg, walls starting to tremble around his thrusting cock.
Dave grits his teeth, thrusting harder into you in his effort to make you cum. “Come on baby. Cum for me. Cum for me” Dave says with each thrust and Marcus watching as you fall over the edge, crying out as you clamp down on Dave’s cock. “That’s it. That’s it, gorgeous. So good. Such a good girl” Dave hisses, thrusting a half dozen more times before he buries his cock deep and paints your walls with his potent seed.
“Ohhhhhhhh” You sigh at the hot flood of his seed filling you. There’s something magical about it, knowing that he could be impregnating you right now. This could be the moment that your child is conceived. “Oh fuck yes, fill me up.” You beg. “Give it to me, give me every drop.” You want him to keep you full, holding tight to him and letting him ride out his pleasure. You look over at Marcus and give him a satisfied smile.
Marcus prays to whatever deity is above that this worked. He cannot wait for you to be pregnant. He's waited long enough. He watches you, loving the wrecked look on your face and he notices the awestruck look on Dave's face when he is still inside of you.
He’s entranced by the way that you squeeze him and hold him tight. Your body pulls him deeper every time that your walls contract around him. Your hand comes up and caresses his on your throat and you look over to see the tent in Marcus’ pants. “Baby…” You reach out towards him. “Come here. Let me suck you off while Dave stays inside me.”
Marcus flusters, "I- I don't think Dave agreed to that."
Dave smirks and beckons him over, "your lady is offering you a blowjob. Take it. I don't care. I'm happy where I am." Dave winks at you and Marcus stands up, slowly unbuckling his belt and making his way over to the bed after pulling his aching cock out.
"Are you sure?" He asks you.
“God baby, fuck my throat.” You beg, reaching back and stroking his hip while he starts to pump himself, needing relief. “I want you to.” You tilt your head back and open your mouth wide, Dave’s softening cock twitching inside you when you do. You want Marcus to enjoy this too. Wanting him to feel involved. You reach for Dave’s hand and bring it back up to your throat. “Feel.” You demand.
Dave eagerly grips your throat and groans at the way Marcus’s cock bulges the delicate flesh. Marcus closes his eyes, already close with how turned on he is from watching Dave fuck you. “If I didn’t know any better princess, I’d say your husband liked watching you get fucked.”
You moan with his cock down your throat, feeling him twitch at Dave’s words and your cunt clenches around Dave. Your eyes are drawn to your husband’s face while he snaps his hips and shoves his cock down your throat. It’s a little rougher than Marcus would normally be and you love it, opening your throat a little more so he can go deeper.
He hisses, eyes opening to watch you as his cock goes deeper down your throat. “Fuck baby. You are - God I’m so lucky” He groans, chin resting on his chest to watch you take his cock deeper. “I’m gonna - shit - I’m gonna cum” He pants and Dave smirks.
“Come on, cum for your wife” Dave orders.
You reach up and cradle his balls as they slap against your forehead and he lets out a choked moan. Cock starts to twitch before he begins pumping ropes of his salty, sterile seed down your throat. Making you moan and try to swallow as much as you can but some spills out the side of your mouth and slides down your cheek.
Dave can’t help himself, he reaches out to scoop up the cum with his fingers and when Marcus pulls his softening cock out of you. Dave shoves his cum covered digits into your mouth, smirking at your moan.
You lick every drop off his fingers and Dave pulls his wet finger out to swipe along your bottom lip. “Good girl.” He murmurs softly before looking up at Marcus. “Are you ready to see your wife’s cum filled little pussy?” He asks the other man.
Marcus nods, shifting to kneel down on the bed and Dave pulls out of you. Two sets of dark eyes focus on your cunt as Dave’s cum wells up and begins to drip out of you. Marcus can’t help himself, he pushes two fingers into you to plug the cum, wanting it to take.
Dave smirks and pats your thigh. “You just let me know the next time you want me to come over and do this again.” He tells both of you. “It will not be a problem keeping her full of my cum.” He gives you a wink. “Not at all.”
Marcus isn’t quite sure what to do next. Should he invite Dave to stay over? Offer him a beer? He ponders for a moment before saying “thank you for your help. I think we should try until her next period is due?” Marcus asks you and you nod, still blissed out.
“Won’t hear me arguing” Dave winks at you, “but I do have an idea.” Marcus tilts his head in interest. “Perhaps next time we could both fuck her?” Dave suggests.
“She doesn’t like anal” Marcus frowns.
“I’m not talking about anal. I’m talking both of us in that tight little cunt so when we cum, it’s almost like you are filling her up too.” Dave’s suggestion is met with Marcus’s contemplative eyes.
“Oh fuck, baby, please?”  You practically whimper and your cunt clenches around his fingers at the idea of having both of them inside you. “I want you right there, inside me.” You tell him breathlessly, looking up at him with pleading eyes. “Want you to be a part of it. Of this.” You love your husband and you know that this is something that eats at him so you want him to be as much of a part of this as he can be. “Maybe…” You bite your lip. “The weekends when you don’t have your daughters, you could come stay? Fuck me all weekend?”
Dave looks at Marcus who nods, eager to get you pregnant and he has agreed to Dave’s terms. “Yes baby. We can do that” Marcus nods and Dave grins.
“Excellent. I will be by next weekend. I have my girls this weekend but next weekend…my sperm is all yours princess” He winks at you.
****
Dave hitches his bag up on his shoulder and rings the doorbell. He had thought about this all week, looking forward to it. Hadn’t even jerked off the past few days, although when he had done it earlier in the week, he had been thinking about how hot and tight your cunt was around him. He already loves fucking you, filling you up and hopefully having it take. That breeding kink he had was coming back to the surface. Carol hadn’t really cared for it, not wanting to hear him talk about it, but he feels like you and Marcus would enjoy it.
You almost rush to the door in your eagerness to get Dave inside of you already. You and Marcus had discussed what happened last weekend in great detail and hashed out the small things that would involve Dave moving forward. Marcus has come to accept everything and he’s excited for Dave to be here. Not too far behind you when you open the front door. “Hello princess” Dave winks, grateful his last assignment ended a couple of nights ago so he could get ready for this.
“Dave.” You breathe out, opening the door wider and motioning for him to come in. The bag on his shoulder makes you giddy with anticipation. He was going to stay and you know that come Monday, you will be sore after being fucked thoroughly all weekend. “Come in, are you hungry, thirsty?” You offer, trying to resist the urge to reach for his belt buckle right now. Marcus reaches for the bag. “I’ll take that for you.” He offers.
Dave hands Marcus his bag and nods, “I wouldn’t mind a beer. It’s been a long week.” He had issues trying to track down the target and it had pissed him off to no end. He looks at Marcus and says “gonna join me?” Marcus nods and you rush off to get them a couple of beers.
Bringing back the bottles, you find Dave already sitting on the couch and Marcus’ feet thud on the stairs as he quickly comes back down after depositing the bag into the bedroom. You had both decided that if Dave was okay with it, he would stay with you in your bedroom, if he wasn’t the spare bedroom was all his. “Here you go.” You hand him the beer with a smile. “Rough week?”
Dave sighs and nods, "yes. I - I had some issues...fucking bureaucratic bullshit" Marcus snorts at that as he comes into the living room.
"You can say that again" He chuckles and kisses you softly when you hand him the beer.
"So...when is your period due?" Dave asks, wondering how much time is left for him to fuck you.
“I had actually just finished my period the first time we had sex.” You tell him. “So another two weeks until we see.” You chew your lip, wondering if it would be late. “Although, it might not have taken already.” You give him a small worried look. “Would you be okay with fucking me through next month if I get my period?”
Dave chuckles and reaches for your hand to kiss the back of it. "Oh baby, that won't be a problem. I will be happy to fuck you every hour of the day if that's what it takes to knock you up." He winks and you smirk, rustling his dark locks.
"Good to hear." You coo and Marcus smiles, holding his arm out when you shift to sit on your husband's lap. His hand rests on your thigh and he leans in to kiss your shoulder.
The men drink their beers and there is the idle small talk, your foot shifting, sliding up Dave’s leg. He smirks at your playfulness and looks at you and Marcus. “You two are still having sex, right?” He asks, reaching down and taking your foot to pull it over his hardening cock. “You aren’t denying  yourselves?” You squirm and press your foot gently against the bulge.
“We are, he fucked me just last night.” You promise him.
Marcus blushes and nods, "she has been insatiable."
Dave chuckles and you look at him with a smirk as you rub the growing bulge in his pants. "Fuck" Dave hisses, grabbing your ankle. "Such a naughty little princess" Dave tuts.
Marcus nudges his nose along your neck, kissing below your ear. "Are you gonna let us both fuck you tonight my love?"
“Fuck yes.” You whisper, turning your head and kissing Marcus desperately. “Do you want to eat first, or do you two want to fuck me and then eat?” You had made sure dinner was something that could be easily reheated, not sure if Dave was eager to fuck you or not.
"I think we should fuck first" Dave says, caressing your ankle and he shifts closer to slide his hand along your thigh as you kiss Marcus. "No panties? You really are eager, baby" Dave chuckles and brushes his fingers through your folds.
You moan softly when his thick fingers find your clit and start to rub. Marcus sets his beer down and reaches around you to cup your tits. “Fuck you should have not worn a bra too.” He pouts, making you giggle.
“I should just walk around naked all weekend?” You squeal when he pinches your nipples and Dave chuckles.
“You should be wearing us all weekend, sweetheart.”
You moan and Dave chuckles, rubbing your clit a little harder. "Fuck you're already so wet, sweetheart" Dave groans and Marcus kisses along your neck, nipping and licking. "She's been wet all week. So needy for a cock inside of her" Marcus murmurs.
“Been thinking about this all week.” You confess, turning your head and kissing along Marcus’ neck. “Wanting this to happen.” You don’t just mean getting pregnant. Marcus was a little more aggressive with you after Dave had fucked you and you liked it. Your soft and loving husband was using his harder side and you couldn’t get enough.
“Well I’m here now. Why don’t we take this to the bedroom?” Dave asks, looking at Marcus who nods.
“Go strip off for us baby” Marcus says and helps you up before he smacks your ass.
“Okay” You giggle and make your way upstairs.
“You sure you want to do this?” Dave asks, wanting to be sure Marcus is comfortable with this.
“Yes. God I- we have been talking about it all week while having sex” Marcus admits.
Dave lifts an eyebrow, impressed with the way that Marcus is taking all of this. Letting another man into his bed, fucking his wife. He likes it though. He likes the idea that he’s not responsible for your happiness, just making sure that you enjoy every moment you are with him and hopefully getting pregnant as a result. “Before we go up.” Dave looks over at Marcus. “Do you have an objection to dirty talk? Breeding her? That kind of thing?”
Marcus bites his lip, pondering that for a second, and he decides it’s hot. “I don’t mind that.” Nodding, he looks at Dave and holds his hand out after he stands up. “Come on, let’s go get our girl pregnant” Marcus smiles and Dave takes his hand to stand up. Both men working their way upstairs.
You are waiting for them. Naked on the bed with a new tube of lubricant. You had thought about stretching yourself out with toys but decided you wanted this to be in-the-moment. “Fuck, how did I get so lucky.” You moan when they both walk through the door. “Two sexy men and they are both going to fuck me.”
Dave works on stripping down, taking off his jacket and shoes. Marcus follows suit and soon enough, both men are naked and hard, hovering over you. “So baby…Marcus is gonna fuck you and I’m gonna stretch you out with my fingers so you can take me too. Sound good?” Dave asks, wrapping his fingers around his cock.
“Sounds perfect.” You lean in and kitten lick the tip of his cock before turning and doing the same thing to your husband. “Although I want you to hurry and get inside me.” You bat your lashes at Marcus and pull him down onto the bed. “Am I riding you, baby?”
Dave nods, hissing when you look at him with wide eyes. “Come on baby, let Marcus have you.” Dave says and you nod, grabbing Marcus’s hand.
Your husband lays down on the bed, his cock hard and twitching when you kneel above him. “Fuck baby. So beautiful” He murmurs and grabs your hips, pulling you closer. You reach down to wrap your fingers around his cock and position him at your entrance, slowly sinking down onto him.
Dave is quick to kneel behind you, grabbing the lube. “Ride your husband, princess” Dave orders, smacking your ass.
Your moan is loud, not even holding back and Marcus hisses when he feels you clench down around him. “You have to relax baby, if you want us both in this tight little cunt.” He strokes your hip and Dave chuckles. His lips press against your shoulder and slide up to your ear. “Need to be inside you to breed you, princess.” He rasps in your ear, making you whimper at the idea.
You pant at how Marcus’s cock always hits so deep in this position, and Dave kisses your shoulder again. “Tell me to stop if it hurts, okay?” He asks and you nod. He squirts the lube into his hand and coats his fingers, slowly pushing two into you with a hiss.
“D-ave.” You moan at the way that his fingers stretch you out and you know that his cock will be even more overwhelming. “Oh fuck.” Your hands are braced on your husband’s chest and you rock forward to make sure he has enough room to work his fingers in and out of your cunt. “This is- oh fuck- this is so good.”
Dave works his fingers deeper and Marcus groans at the feel of his digits pressed against his cock as he rocks into you. Your nails dig into his flesh and you whimper when Dave adds a third finger, trying to stretch you out for his thick girth. “Oh God” You cry, loving how full you feel already and Marcus caresses your hips, helping you rock on top.
“Feel good baby?” He asks you.
“So good.” You turn your head and look over your shoulder at Dave. “I need you inside me, baby.” You beg. “Fill me up, want to feel both of you.” You know that it’s dangerous territory, but you are already thinking of the ways you can have them together again. You would even let Marcus fuck your ass again, normally not caring for it.
Dave nods, withdrawing his fingers and you whine at the sudden emptiness. Dave lubes up his cock and Marcus stops moving, his heart pounding that this could be the moment you get knocked up, and he is involved in it. Dave notches himself at your entrance and slowly pushes in, his cock pressing against Marcus’s. “You doing okay?” He asks when just the tip is inside of you.
Hissing slightly at the thick feeling of the head and the slight sting of the stretch, you nod. “Yes. Just- fuck, go slow.” Marcus slides his hand down and starts rubbing your clit gently while Dave chuckles, kissing your shoulder again while he starts to slowly rock into you, working himself deeper.
Dave kisses along your shoulder, going slow as he rocks into you, slowly working his cock inside of you along with your husband's. "This is gonna be it. This is when we get you pregnant, princess" Dave coos, groaning when his cock is nestled inside of your tight walls
You whine, not missing the way your husband’s dick twitched when Dave said ‘we’. You know he is enjoying being a part of this as much as he can be. Reaching down you take Marcus’ hand and slides it up to your stomach. Even though you aren’t the thinnest, you can feel their cocks moving under your skin. “God, baby, feel this.” You moan, reaching back for one of Dave’s hands so he can feel as well.
Dave groans at the bulging beneath your soft skin and Marcus feels like he could cum then and there. His moan echoing in the bedroom as he watches you. "Fuck baby. That - that looks so good" He hisses and begins to slowly rock his hips.
It takes long minutes before Dave is buried inside you beside Marcus. “Oh fuck. It feels so good.” You promise him, closing your eyes and leaning back against Dave’s chest. You clench around them both and your own hips start to roll slowly. “Gonna fill me up?”
"Yes. Yes. Dave is gonna knock you up." Marcus pants, loving the way you begin rocking on their cocks.
"We are gonna knock you up." Dave corrects and his hand slides up to cup your breast. "These are gonna be full of milk soon enough." He vows, cock twitching inside of you at the thought.
“Yes.” You pant, a grin curving your lips at the idea. “Gonna have a drink?” You ask, feeling Dave’s fingers dig into your breast when you ask and his hips shuffle forward harder than before, making sure he was buried with the next thrust.
He hisses when your walls flutter around him when he says “yes.”
Marcus grunts at that and moans when you meet his eyes. “I love you baby. You’re gonna be such a good mother.”
Dave hums in agreement and leans in to kiss along your neck, “yes baby. You’re gonna be a good mama. We are gonna make sure you’re full of Marcus’s baby. Gonna get you swollen and round. Make sure those tits are full of milk. Gonna be so gorgeous.”
You love that he’s including Marcus in this. Dave is very cognizant of who’s baby this will be and he is saying everything right. “Please.” You beg. “I wanna be full. I want a pregnant belly.” You whimper when Marcus groans and his hips rock up, pushing him deep.
You let them take over. Just holding yourself steady while they fuck into you and work you closer to orgasm. Hands squeezing and stroking your skin, groping and in Dave’s case- slapping. Marcus keeps rubbing your clit while your pants and gasps get louder and your thighs start to tremble. “Marc - Dave.” You whine, close to the edge.
Dave grabs your tit, “come on baby. Cum for us. Cum for your baby daddy. Cum for your husband.” His words send you over the edge with a croaked cry and Dave smiles as he rests his cheek on your shoulder, loving the way you cry out and clamp down on his and Marcus’s cock.
You slump back against Dave while the two men start pumping into you faster, chasing their own orgasms. “Fuck, please baby.” You open your eyes and look down at Marcus. “Cum for me, cum in me, fill me up.”
Marcus won’t cum until Dave does and Dave knows that. Clenching his jaw as he holds off until Dave notices and looks over at him. “Cum together?” He asks and Marcus nods. “I’m gonna - I’m close” Dave says and you whine when both men cum at the same time, filling your womb with the combination of their seed. “Shit.” Dave hisses and Marcus lets out a silent moan.
You close your eyes and give a small prayer, hoping that this is the time that it happens. You get pregnant. You lean down and press your lips to Marcus’ jaw before you kiss his lips. “That was amazing.” You whisper, smiling when you feel Dave flatten himself over your back.
Dave isn’t a religious man but he prays that it takes. While he wants to keep fucking you, he also wants to know he’s knocked you up. You sigh in bliss and he kisses your shoulder. “I want you to stay in our bed tonight” You murmur to Dave after you are all cleaned up and Marcus nods in agreement. Dave is surprised but nods, looking forward to a night spent in your arms along with Marcus.
You love it. Sandwiched between the two men. Dave ends up fucking from behind in the early morning hours while Marcus kisses you. Even falling asleep inside you with his arms around you while you are sprawled over your husband's chest. It’s a moment that you wonder if this wasn’t supposed to happen this way, Dave being in your life and fathering your children. You’ve already thought about asking him for another after this.
****
You smile as Dave sits down on the sofa, summoned for another weekend of baby making except this time…it won’t be to make a baby. “We have a surprise for you” You tell Dave and Marcus holds your hand, trying to suppress his smile.
“You know I don’t like surprises princess,” Dave chuckles and you can’t help yourself, you shove the test into his hand. “Is this?” He asks and you nod. “And you’re positive-?” He continues and you blurt out “yes!” Dave looks towards Marcus who is grinning and he can’t help but grin himself. “Wow. That’s - that’s fucking incredible” Dave says breathlessly.
“Yes it is.” You lean in and kiss your husband, slipping your tongue into his mouth to caress his for a moment before you pull back and look him in the eyes. The tiny nod is almost unnoticeable but you grin and turn to look over at Dave who is looking down at the test again, grinning but also slightly pensive as he stares at the test. “Now.” You push his hand away and crawl into Dave’s lap, “Take your pants off.” You coo. “I want to suck your cock.”
Dave’s eyes widen. He has never done more than fuck you. Marcus has always gone down on you and you’ve never gone down on his cock. He swallows and chuckles, looking at Marcus who nods and offers him a lazy smile. “You want to-?” He asks and you nod. He exhales through his teeth and lifts his hips up, pushing his pants down after unbuckling his belt and when his underwear is around his ankles, his cock bounces as he sits down.
You smirk when you see the cock that is so familiar to you. It fucked you full of a baby. You lean in and press your lips to his softly. “Thank you.” You murmur softly, not only meaning the baby, but everything before you start to kiss down his neck and slip to your knees on the rug in front of the sofa. You reach out and wrap your hand around his cock. “Maybe I won’t dislocate my jaw with this thing.” You tease before you lean forward and press your tongue to the soft head.
Dave groans, eyelashes fluttering to rest on his cheeks as he watches you take him into your mouth. He hisses when you press your tongue to the sensitive tip and Marcus watches in awe, unable to deny his cock is hardening in his pants. “She sucks cock like a champ” Dave says with a smirk when the initial shock is over and you are bobbing your head on his cock.
You moan at the praise, holding his hip with one hand and pumping the thick base of his cock with the other. You have taken so many loads of his cum inside your pussy, all in an attempt to get you pregnant, you now want to taste it. Swallow down his salty seed and have it linger on your tongue. You look up at him and smirk while you hollow your cheeks.
Dave caresses your cheek and slides his hand down to gently grip your throat. “Fuck baby. So pretty with my cock in your mouth” He coos and tries to not jerk his hips up to make you choke. Marcus palms himself through his jeans, unbelievably turned on at the idea of you being pregnant.
Loving this, you reach out and squeeze your husband’s cock over his jeans. Looking over at him and feeling him twitch under your palm. You want to suck Marcus off too but you can’t put two cocks in your mouth at the same time. You hum and start bobbing your head faster.
“Jesus.” Dave growls, unable to stop himself from bucking up into your mouth, and he closes his eyes. “I’m gonna cum, princess” He warns through gritted teeth and you moan around him, reaching up to cradle his balls. Feeling your fingers roll his balls sends him over the edge. He groans loudly as the spurts of cum hit the back of your throat.
You greedily drink him down, gulping every spurt down your throat and moaning at your cunt clenches painfully around nothing. You work him through it, stroking the back and milking him for every drop before you pull off with a satisfied pop and grin up at him. “Now that my baby daddy is satisfied….what does daddy want?” You coo, looking over at Marcus. “You want your pregnant wife to suck your cock too? Or do you want me to ride you?”
Marcus inhales sharply, loving that you are the mother of his child. Hearing you calling him daddy makes his heart swell. “I want you to ride me” He rasps out, voice heavy with emotion. You waste no time in taking his cock out of his slacks and you pull your panties aside before sinking down on him, cunt soaked from sucking off Dave. “Are you okay?” Marcus asks, already nervous of touching you with the baby.
Nodding, you let out a soft moan. Dave chuckles breathlessly and looks over to where you are riding Marcus, his spent cock twitching while he watches you take the other man’s dick. “She’s going to be good. Horny and eager to get fucked.” He predicts. “Carol was insatiable while she was pregnant.” His hand reaches over and caresses your calf while you bounce. “Fuck you look pretty sitting on his cock, princess. Nice and pregnant.”
Marcus isn’t in a rush, he may be turned on but he wants to take his time. He leans in to press his lips to yours and you whimper into his mouth when his fingers grab your hips. “Can’t wait to see you pregnant with our baby. Gonna look so beautiful. I’m not gonna be able to keep my hands off of you” He admits, cock twitching inside of you.
“Yes.” You whine, wrapping your arms around his neck and bouncing on his cock even faster but your husband slows you down, making you moan again. “Want that. Want you to fuck me all the time.” You look over at Dave and give him a smile. “Ride you with a big belly because you can’t get on top of me anymore.”
Dave smirks and reaches out to stroke your back, “you are gonna be gorgeous, princess. Marcus is a lucky guy.” He winks and you look back at your husband.
“He is” You joke and Marcus smirks, leaning in to playfully nip your chin.
“I am” He concurs and captures your lips with his.
You like when both men have their hands on you. There’s something about it. Dave’s hands were rougher, more calloused. Marcus had calluses but it was different. Together they both made you feel like you were the most desirable woman in the world. You smile against his lips. “I love you.” You murmur softly.
“I love you too honey” Marcus murmurs, rocking you on his cock a little harder. He wants to feel you cum first so he rubs your clit, kissing along your jaw and Dave can’t help but reach out and squeeze your ass.
“Dave.” You gasp and clench around Marcus. You’ve noticed Dave is an ass man. Almost more than tits. Your own hand slides up to cup your breast and you groan when hands squeeze you again. “Gonna cum, baby.” You pant out, closing your eyes in pleasure.
“Cum for your husband, princess” Dave orders, his fingers dipping in to brush your puckered hole. You cry out and clamp down on Marcus’s cock, his fingers still rubbing your clit.
You ride out your high and hum in pleasure, feeling Marcus start thrusting into you harder while Dave continues to touch you. “Cum baby.” You beg breathlessly.
Marcus grits his teeth, watching you as you recover from your orgasm, and he is soon sent over the edge. Surging forward to press his lips to yours, his groan is smothered by your mouth while he thrusts up into you with abandon. Painting your walls, his fingers dig into your hips to keep you still while he slowly thrusts through his high. “Good girl, princess. Taking your husband's cum like that” Dave murmurs, stroking your spine.
Dave knows that his reasoning for being with you is over. Honestly, it hurts. Not that he would let you know that. He had agreed to get you pregnant, not become a third wheel in your relationship and he respected Marcus and what you had too much to try to wedge himself into it. “It’s good that you are pregnant, princess.” He murmurs softly, continuing to stroke your spine. “I have a job that I’ve been putting off for a while. I’ll be gone for a few months.” It’s a lie, he just needs some time away from you. From this.
You are upset but agree, knowing that Dave has no connection to you and Marcus beyond his agreement to get you pregnant. The months pass and Marcus is happy, always touching your belly, and telling you how excited he is. You agree but it's hard to forget Dave. It feels like something is missing now. You are preparing dinner when the doorbell rings and you wipe your hands before making your way to the front door. "Dave." You gasp when you come face to face with the biological father of your baby.
"Hey princess" He smirks,
Marcus is on his way home and you immediately reach for the man. “Come in, Marcus should be home in a bit. Do you want a beer? How are you?” Relief floods your system at seeing him safe and sound. Arousal is a close second, your pussy starting to throb when you see his handsome face. He had been right, you were insatiable. “Fuck, you look good.”
Dave's eyes drop down to your bump and he smiles, "so do you. Look at you. Fucking gorgeous. I knew you'd be even more gorgeous with a baby inside of you. Glowing. You're glowing, princess." He reaches out tentatively and you grab his hand, placing it on your bump. "I'll have a beer" He tells you, stroking your stomach in awe.
You grin happily and drag him into the house so you can close the door. “Come on, let’s get you a beer and you can tell me about your trip. What you can, of course.” You know that Dave’s work is more sensitive than Marcus’s and you accept that. “I’m so glad that you are here. Texts and the random call wasn’t enough.”
Dave looks around, "so Marcus is still at work?"
You nod, "just finishing up some paperwork. I'm cooking dinner. Can you stay?" You ask, pouting slightly and that makes Dave chuckle.
"Okay sweetheart. I will stay. I- I would like to stay. I've missed you. Both of you" He murmurs, leaning in to kiss your forehead.
You instinctively turn your head up and start kissing along Dave’s jaw. Reaching back and flipping off the stove before you wrap your arms around his waist, your baby bump not letting you get as close as you would have liked. “Missed you.” You moan.
“I missed you too” He murmurs, frowning slightly. He doesn’t want to take advantage. Marcus isn’t home and the deal was to get you pregnant, not fuck you once the job is done. He watches you after pulling back. “Marcus - he didn’t - princess, your husband needs to be here.”
You pout and roll your eyes, realizing that he didn’t know about the conversations you and Marcus had while he was away. Reaching for your phone next to the stove, you call Marcus and put it on speaker phone. “Hey baby.” He answers from the car, his voice cheerful and tired. “I’m on my way home, be there in forty-five minutes.”
You nod even though he can’t see you. “Dave is here baby. Just showed up.” You tell him.
Marcus smiles, happy that Dave is back in his house. “Hey buddy” He says.
Dave responds with a “hey man.”
Marcus taps his fingers against his steering wheel. “So can you entertain her until I get home? She’s so sweet now. Why don’t you eat her little pussy until I get back” Marcus asks.
Dave groans, unable to believe that he’s telling him to eat you out. “Fuck yes I will.” Dave promises. “I’ll make her cum until you get home.”
You grin and send him an air kiss. “Do you want to stay on the phone, baby?”
"Yes." Marcus rasps, ready to listen to your pleasure. He's been trying to keep up with your needs but sometimes he is tired and can only do so much. Dave grins as you walk to your bedroom and you set the phone down. He reaches for you, pressing his lips to yours and immediately sliding his tongue into your mouth. "I want you to tell me what he's doing, baby. Want to know every detail" Marcus orders when Dave kisses down your neck and reaches for the hem of your shirt.
Whining has Marcus groaning over the speaker of your phone. “What’s he doing, baby?” He demands, voice raspy and you know he’s getting hard.
“He- oh fuck, he’s sucking on my nipples.” Marcus chuckles at your breathy explanation.
“They are so sensitive now. She can cum from having them sucked on sometimes.” He tells Dave. “Although I know you want to eat her pussy now.”
Dave nods, “yes I do.” He kisses down your stomach, kisses pressed to your bump and he hooks his fingers in your leggings, pushing them down with a groan. “Such a pretty cunt” He coos when he tosses your panties over his shoulder. You moan when he surges forward to slide his tongue through your folds.
You cry out, leaning back against the pillows while Dave moans at the taste of you. Gripping your hips and flicking his tongue against your clit. You can barely see the top of his head over your bump now and you reach down and tangle your fingers into his hair.
He hisses at the way you tug on his dark locks but he fucking loves it. Carving his tongue through your folds and devouring you like you’re his last meal. He grabs your thighs to keep them spread open and flicks his tongue over your clit several times. “Talk to me babe. What’s Dave doing now?” Marcus asks, his cock pressing against the zipper of his slacks.
“I-I-“ You let out a small scream when he flicks your clit again. “He’s - my clit - tongue.” You pant out, trying to articulate it but you can barely think, let alone talk. “Ma- Dave!” You gasp out again when he shakes his head and works his tongue over your clit in the same motion.
Dave smirks into your flesh, lapping deeper and gently pushing his tongue into your walls while his nose nudges your clit. “Is it good babe?” Marcus asks, struggling to not speed home to watch. He listens to you whine and moan and he groans when he hears the squelching of Dave’s fingers pushing into your wet cunt.
“Y-yes!” You slap your hand down on the covers and let out the loudest moan when he curls his fingers up. Pregnancy has made you sensitive and every stroke of his tongue and his fingers feels like pure pleasure. “So, so g-good.” You whimper, lifting your leg up onto his shoulder so he can get even deeper inside you. “Fuck baby, so good.”
He grunts into your flesh, needing you to cum as he curls his fingers inside of you and sucks your clit into his mouth. Lips wrapped around the bundle of nerves like he is sucking on candy. “Cum for Dave, baby” Marcus orders, knowing when you’re close.
You squeal when your orgasm slams through you. Causing you to nearly lunge straight up and fold over if it weren’t for your belly. You soak his face, cum gushing through your cunt and pouring out of you while you ride the waves of bliss.
He hums in delight, eagerly withdrawing his fingers to lap up the essence of your orgasm. “So fucking good” He groans and Marcus smiles, loving how blissed out you sound when you murmur his name. “Good girl. Now, I want you to cum again for Dave” Marcus says, “I am almost halfway home.”
“Fuck me.” You pull Dave up for a kiss, sliding your tongue into his mouth. “Want you inside me, baby. Missed feeling you.” You have and honestly Marcus has missed watching you get fucked, both of you realizing you love having Dave in your bed with you. “Please baby.”
Dave shuffles off of the bed, working on removing his clothes, and his hard cock bounces as he kneels on the bed. He forgot about the bruises on his body from a particularly tough target and your gasp makes him frown. You tentatively reach out and touch the bruises but he shakes his head, taking your hand in his. “I’m fine, princess. Just part of the job” He murmurs and shifts to be between your thighs.
“You need to be careful, baby.” You murmur, not liking him hurting. “After you shower, I’ll rub some IcyHot into them.” You promise, reaching for him. Your stomach is flatter, but he will still have to brace his weight over you.
“Baby” Marcus says, reminding you that he is still on the phone, “are you gonna beg Dave to fuck you now?”
Dave smirks and reaches out to run his fingers through your folds. You nod, moaning softly when he rubs your clit. “Come on then. Beg for me” Dave teases.
“Fuck.” You whimper, jerking your hips up into his touch. “Please, please fuck me.” You beg softly. “I need your cock, I need to feel you inside me. Need you to fill me up with your big cock.”
Dave coos, “okay princess.” He removes his fingers and shuffles closer to notch his cock at your entrance, pushing slowly into you, not wanting to hurt you. “God I’ve missed this pussy” He growls and Marcus is thankful he’s nearly home. He loves the cry that escapes your lips that echoes over his Bluetooth.
“Talk to me babe” Marcus orders.
“Perfect.” You moan out when you can suck in a breath. “God baby, I wish you could see how perfectly he’s- he’s filling me.” Your nails dig into Dave’s shoulders and you look up at him with hooded eyes. “Fuck your baby mama.” You demand. “I need you to make me cum again. Make a mess for Marcus to see.”
Dave nods, working his cock in and out of you while being mindful of your bump. Carol was never this vocal when he fucked her but he loves how loud you are, telling him how much you love his cock inside of you.
Marcus swears he’s about to cum in his pants if he doesn’t get home soon but thankfully, he is pulling into the driveway and he barely locks the car before he is rushing into the house, running up the stairs to see Dave inside of you.
“You’re home.” You smile blissfully at Marcus as he rushes over to the two of you. Dave is hover over to the other side of your body and Marcus surges forward to kiss you. “Look how fucking perfect he is inside me, baby. He’s gonna fuck me full of his cum. You wanna see that?” You demand when he pulls away.
Marcus nods, sitting down on the edge of the bed and reaching up to loosen his tie after struggling off his jacket. “Yeah. I want to see that pretty pussy leaking his cum before I fuck you next. You were right. She’s insatiable. I can hardly keep up” Marcus confesses.
You look over at him and moan when Dave pushes deep. “N-Not my fault.” You gasp out. “Your dick is too good.” You reach up and stroke Dave’s jaw. “He needs you to fuck me, give his poor cock a break. I’ve been masturbating too.” You confess. “Thinking about both of you.”
Marcus groans, pulling his cock out and slowly pumping himself while Dave rocks into you. “Well you have both of us here now. We are gonna take care of you” Dave promises and reaches between you to rub your clit. Marcus shuffles over and gently squeezes your breast, wanting to see your face when you cum.
You reach out with one of your hands to touch Marcus. Biting your lip when you feel the sweet sensation of your upcoming orgasm starting to build. That ache is more intense from your hormones and you gasp when your body starts to clench up. “Fuck!”
Marcus loves watching you cum. Always has. Even from the first time. The way your eyes roll back and your back arches. It’s gorgeous. Dave appreciates it too, loving the way you clamp down on his cock and he clenches his jaw, rocking you through it. “So fucking beautiful when you cum, princess. Gonna make me cum” Dave grunts.
“Please.” You beg, looking up at him and rocking your hips up. “Want to feel you fill me up. Make my pussy drip your cum again.” Marcus moans and you know he is still slowly stroking his cock while he watches Dave fuck into you. “Cum for me baby.”
Dave can’t hold back any longer. He hasn’t fucked anyone since he touched you, so he has only had his hand to cum into. With a growl of your name, he buries his cock deep and paints your walls, loving the way you whine in response.
“Love it.” You whisper, caressing his face while he closes his eyes and rides out his high. If it weren’t for your belly, he would have his face pressed against your neck. “You feel so good, Dave.” You look over at Marcus and see the look on his face, knowing that it was something that you both have discussed and have settled in your own minds. “Love you baby.”
Dave pants, chest heaving slightly, and he pulls out of you after a few moments, looking over at Marcus. "Are you going to fuck your wife now?" He asks and Marcus shifts to take his place, wasting no time pushing into you with a moan.
“Oh God, yes.” You whimper and look up at Marcus, lifting up to press your lips to his. “You love this, don’t you? Feeling his cum inside me while you fuck me?” You know he does, you’ve talked about it many times while it was just the two of you in bed. He loves it almost as much as you do.
Marcus lets out a strangled whine, feeling Dave's cum push out with each thrust into you. "Fucking love it baby. I love you. So much. So goddamn much" He groans, caressing your bump as he fucks you.
Dave watches, a sad smile on his face that cannot stay with you both. You had said "love you baby" to Marcus and he can't get in the middle of that. His lifestyle isn't conducive to a new baby and he can't put you all in danger by being associated with him.
“Love you too.” You moan, reaching out blindly for Dave as he sits to the side. Your fingers lace with his and you squeeze them tight. “Want you to cum.” You murmur to Marcus. “Fill me up baby, you know you want to. Want both of you leaking out of me.”
Dave squeezes your hand, "cum for your husband." He orders and it sends you over the edge. Clamping down on Marcus's cock as you soak him with your cum and that makes Marcus groan. He's been worked up for the best part of an hour and he can't hold back, thrusting deep to work you through your orgasm and he groans your name as he fills you with his hot cum.
You sigh, feeling complete for the first time since you had announced your pregnancy and Dave had gone out of town. You stroke Marcus’s back with your free hand and look over at Dave. “Are you staying tonight?” You ask him softly, hoping that he will. “Or longer?”
“Tonight. Then I have to go” Dave says, leaning back against the pillows and watching as Marcus pulls out of you, watching the cum well up and drip onto the blanket below. “So beautiful” He murmurs, caressing your thigh. Once you are all cleaned up and lounging on the sofa, Dave shifts to sit forward and rubs his hands together.
“I can’t stay here” He announces and you frown, “what do you mean?” He sighs and turns to look at you and Marcus. “I can’t stay here with you and be a family. I told you, I’m not a good man, and I do bad things. People come after me and I cannot risk you two or the baby. I need to keep you all safe. My two girls too. That means keeping a distance.”
Marcus huff, not like what Dave is saying. “I’ve ready your file, Dave. You’ve done things, yes, but you are a good man. We know what we are asking, who we are talking to.”
Dave shakes his head. Marcus has read his official file, not the bad things he does outside of his cover of being a government worker. “I think it’s for the best that we keep this strictly distanced.” He says with finality, not wanting to fall deeper than he already has. He has to keep you all safe.
You sigh, wishing that he felt differently. “We won’t force you into anything you don’t want.” You tell him, your bottom lip trembling slightly. Your emotions were also affected by the pregnancy. “However, I meant what I said, David Anthony York.” Bringing his hand up, you place it over your heart. “I love you. If you change your mind, both of us would love nothing more.”
Marcus nods in agreement, reaching out to take Dave’s other hand. Dave takes both hands and brings them to his lips. Kissing yours then Marcus’s. “Thank you” He murmurs, unable to say the words that are on the tip of his tongue.
****
“Come on sweetheart. You can do it.” Marcus tells you, dapping your forehead with the cold flannel the nurse had handed him.
“That’s it honey. You got this” Dave says, hissing when you grip his hand too tight.
“Okay. One more push” The doctor says and you grit your teeth, holding onto Marcus’s hand as you push your baby out. A cry echoes in the room after a second and the doctor smiles at you. “It’s a boy. Daddy cutting the cord?” The doctor looks at Marcus who glances over at Dave.
“Go on. I did it for my girls” Dave smiles, happy to let Marcus have this first moment as a father.
“You did such a good job sweetheart” Dave coos and kisses your hair. You feel tears fall down your cheeks as you look at the child you’ve waited so long for. Marcus is crying too, reaching out to grab Dave’s hand. “Thank you” He says sincerely, knowing this wouldn’t have been possible without him.
They are working on you but you don’t even pay attention, too focused on counting fingers and toes and cooing to your son. “Have you decided on a name?” Dave asks softly. You look up at Marcus and then over to Dave with a bright, happy smile. “Marcus David Pike.” You tell him, both you and Marcus wanting to include Dave in the name of your son. “We are going to call him Marc.”
Dave smiles, “I love it. Hello Marc.” He murmurs to the baby - technically his son but he knows he will be known as uncle Dave. The way it should be. Marcus leans down to kiss you and it feels like your family is complete. Dave has to leave soon to go on an op but he will be back. Marcus strokes the baby’s head, unable to believe he’s a father. He cannot believe how happy he is.
“I know I’m minutes from giving birth- but I want another.” You tell them softly, looking up at both men. You giggle when the nurse snorts in amusement.
“Let me take him so we can get his vitals.” She comes around the other side of you and reaches for the baby gently.
Dave chuckles and looks at Marcus who tilts his head, “you up for that?”
Dave ponders it for a moment. “I’m up for it if you are, pal.”
Marcus nods, “let’s do it.”
****
“Marc! Don’t run too fast!” You call out, watching the little boy run after his younger brothers.
“They’re fine babe.” Marcus chuckles, reaching for your hand as you sit on the patio furniture.
“Exactly. They are resilient boys. Like their dads” Dave smiles, winking at Marcus.
"Three boys…what a handful.” You chuckle and Dave snorts.
“And two grown ass men” He adds.
“Yes. Too many boys in the house, I can’t wait until Alice and Molly get here.” You joke and Dave smiles. Unable to believe he’s been so lucky.
He - admittedly - fought against being with you and Marcus but eventually his heart won and he stopped killing. When he told you both what he did, neither of you blinked, having understood that sometimes good men do bad things. He cried when you and Marcus accepted him. Something he definitely wouldn’t admit now, but then the twins came along and he wouldn’t have it any other way. Dave finally feels complete with his family.

As soon as Sam called you to tell you Bucky had been arrested you took the first flight to Maryland. What the hell were they doing in Maryland anyway? The last time you talked to him was at your apartment when he saw that prick on TV saying Steve felt like a brother to him. After that, he left to look for Sam.
Once you reached the police station, your eyes landed on your friend. “Sam,” you called for him. When noticed your presence he got up from his seat and walked towards you.
“What happened? Where’s Bucky?” you asked worriedly.
“He’s fine, don’t worry. He just missed his court-mandated therapy,” Sam said, his hands on your shoulders trying to calm you.
You were going to talk again when a woman approached you, “Sam, I’ve heard a lot about you. I’m Doctor Raynor. I’m James’ therapist.” She then looked at you, “You must be Y/N. Nice to meet you,” she shook your hand.
“Doctor Raynor, thank you so much for getting him out.”
She sighed, “That was not me.”
Before any of you could ask who got Bucky out, a voice called for Doctor Raynor. “Christina!” You turned your head to find the source of that voice, only to find that prick again, taking selfies with some civilians. “It’s great to see you again.”
“You’ve gotta be kidding me. You know him?” Because of Sam’s disbelief, you supposed they had already met him; and it didn’t go well.
“Yeah, we did some field ops back in the day.”
“I heard you were working with Bucky, so I thought I’d step in.” You narrowed your eyes when you heard the man call him Bucky. Who does he think he is? That was a nickname reserved only for his friends. This asshole had no right to call him that. “Bucky’s not gonna be following a strict schedule any longer.”
“We haven’t finished our work. Who authorized this?”
He didn’t answer, he just smiled and pointed at himself. What an egocentric prick. His face was just asking to be punched and you were more than willing to oblige.
He kept talking, but you didn’t pay attention. Your main focus was on the sound of a door opening, then you saw your boyfriend followed by another agent. You ran towards him without thinking twice. “Are you okay?” you asked before wrapping your arms tightly around him. His face hiding in the crook of your neck, taking in your scent.
“I’m fine. Don’t worry, doll.” He gave you a sideways smile that you knew wasn’t honest. That was his forced smile. You knew that because you knew him. You’ve seen his real smile; and that isn’t it. But you didn’t want to push him, so you just nodded.
“I got so worried,” you cupped his face in your hands, admiring his features. Just the thought of not seeing him again drove you crazy. His gloved hands covered yours. “There’s nothing to worry about,” he whispered in a voice just for the two of you, “I’m sorry.”
You shook your head “Don’t be. It wasn’t your fault.”
“James, condition of your release, session now. You too, Sam”
“That’s okay. I’ll be out here with Y/N,” he tried to get out of it, but Bucky had told you about Doctor Raynor. You knew he had no escape.
“That wasn’t a request.” Sam crossed his arms around his chest, not finding his situation too appealing. He rolled his eyes, annoyed, and followed Doctor Raynor.
“I’ll wait here,” you said, cupping Bucky’s face once more. You stand on your tiptoes and gave him a peck on his lips before watching him disappear after Sam.
You were sitting in one of the chairs of the police station when you saw Sam exit the room, walking out of the police station without sparing you a second glance.
“What happened in there?” You inquired, “Why is Sam so mad?”
He didn’t say anything, just looked at you. You could see the pain behind his eyes. “Hey,” you took his gloved hands in yours, “You know you can talk to me.”
He averted his gaze to the floor. Holding your gaze was too much for him. You gently grabbed his chin and forced him to look at you. “Don’t shut me out, Buck.” You softened your voice, “Please.”
He swallowed hard, “Do you think Steve was wrong about me?” You noticed the crack in his voice.
“Of course not, honey.” You reassured, “Why would you think that?”
He didn’t answer your question. “Is t’s this because Sam gave up the shield?”
“Steve trusted him. That shield is everything he stood for...” His voice, although louder, still held pain. “It’s his legacy and he trusted Sam with it, and he threw it away like it was nothing.”
You shook your head. There were so many things he still didn’t understand, “Sam only did what he thought was right.”
“If Steve was wrong about him, then he was wrong about me.”
“Steve was right about Sam, and he was right about you.” You wanted him to understand, “You’re a good man, Bucky. Don’t let anyone make you feel like any less.” You knew how he held onto Steve’s word; he believed in him, and so did you. “I believe in you, and I trust you.”
Once you stepped out of the police station you meet Sam again, “You okay?” He nodded.
“Gentlemen,” that annoying voice again. “Good to see you again.” Then his eyes landed on you, and you realize he was only now noticing you. Seems like he didn’t acknowledge your presence in the police station before either. “You’re Y/N Y/L/N. It’s an honor to meet you, I’ve heard a lot of things about you.” You felt the arm of your boyfriend wrapping protectively around your waist. He didn’t like the smile that was plastered on the new guy’s face; or the way his eyes sparkled when he saw you. Captain Prick reached his hand out for you, but you ignored him.
“Can’t say the same thing,” the tone of your voice indifferent “What was your name again?”
He just chuckled and shook his head “Look, if we divide ourselves, we don’t stand a chance. You guys know that.”
“We are free agents. We are most flexible,” Sam said firmly.
“So we are not working with you.” And with that, the three of you made your out.
“A word of advice, then.” You turned to Captain Prick, “Stay the hell out of my way.” You watched him and his friend leave.
Yep. Definitely a prick.

Ten years after Hiddleston first chose chaos in Thor, Marvel’s fan favorite God of Mischief is going even bigger with his time-bending Disney+ show.
Tom Hiddleston is Loki, and he is burdened with glorious purpose: After playing Thor's puckish brother for over a decade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, no one understands the mercurial Asgardian God of Mischief as well as the actor. He can teach an entire seminar on Loki if given the opportunity — which he actually did during pre-production on his forthcoming Disney+ show. In conversation, Hiddleston quotes lines from his MCU debut, 2011's Thor, almost verbatim, and will playfully correct you if you mistakenly refer to Asgard's Rainbow Bridge as the Bifrost, which is the portal that connects Loki and Thor's homeworld to the Nine Realms, including Midgard, a.k.a. Earth. "Well, the Bifrost technically is the energy that runs through the bridge," he says with a smile. "But nine points to Gryffindor!" And when he shows up to the photo shoot for this very digital cover, he hops on a call with our photo editor to pitch ways the concept could be even more Loki, like incorporating the flourish the trickster does whenever magically conjuring something. The lasting impression is that playing Loki isn't just a paycheck.
"Rather than ownership, it's a sense of responsibility I feel to give my best every time and do the best I can because I feel so grateful to be a part of what Marvel Studios has created," the 40-year-old Brit tells EW over Zoom a few days after the shoot and a week out from Thor's 10th anniversary. "I just want to make sure I've honored that responsibility with the best that I can give and the most care and thought and energy."
After appearing in three Thor movies and three Avengers, Hiddleston is bringing that passion to his first solo Marvel project, Loki, the House of Ideas' third Disney+ series following the sitcom pastiche WandaVision and the topical The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Led by head writer Michael Waldron (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Heels), the six-episode drama sees Hiddleston's shapeshifting agent of chaos step out from behind his brother's shadow and into the spotlight for a timey-wimey, sci-fi adventure that aims to get to the bottom of who Loki really is. "I wanted to explore slightly more complex character questions," says Waldron. "It's not just good versus bad. Is anybody all good? Is anybody all bad? What makes a hero, a hero? A villain, a villain?"
Even though Loki — who loves sowing mayhem with his illusion magic and shapeshifting, all with a major chip on his shoulder — has never been one for introspection, the idea of building an entire show around him was a no-brainer for Marvel. When asked why Loki was one of the studio's first Disney+ shows, Marvel president Kevin Feige replies matter-of-factly, "More Hiddleston, more Loki." First introduced as Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) envious brother in Kenneth Branagh's Thor, Loki went full Big Bad in 2012's The Avengers. That film cemented the impish rogue as one of the shared universe's fan favorites, thanks to Hiddleston's ability to make him deliciously villainous yet charismatic and, most importantly, empathetic. The character's popularity is one of the reasons he's managed to avoid death many times.
"He's been around for thousands of years. He had all sorts of adventures," says Feige. "Wanting to fill in the blanks and see much more of Loki's story [was] the initial desire [for the series]."
The Loki we meet on the show is not the one who fought the Avengers in 2012 and evolved into an antihero in Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok before meeting his demise at the hands of the mad titan Thanos (Josh Brolin) in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War. Instead, we'll be following a Loki from a branched timeline (a variant, if you will) after he stole the Tesseract following his thwarted New York invasion and escaped S.H.I.E.L.D. custody during the time heist featured in Avengers: Endgame. In other words, this Loki hasn't gone through any sort of redemption arc. He's still the charming yet petulant god who firmly believes he's destined to rule and has never gotten his due.
Premiering June 9, Loki begins with the Time Variance Authority — a bureaucratic organization tasked with safeguarding the proper flow of time — arresting the Loki Variant seen in Endgame because they want his help fixing all of the timeline problems he caused while on the run with the Tesseract. So there will be time travel, and a lot more of it than in Endgame. As Loki makes his way through his own procedural, he'll match wits with new characters including Owen Wilson's Agent Mobius, a brilliant TVA analyst, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw's Judge Renslayer. The question in early episodes is whether Loki will help them or take over.
"One of the things Kevin Feige led on was, 'I think we should find a way of exploring the parts of Loki that are independent of his relationship with Thor,' or see him in a duality or in relationship with others, which I thought was very exciting," says Hiddleston, who also serves as an executive producer on the show. "So the Odinson saga, that trilogy of films, still has its integrity, and we don't have to reopen it and retell it."
Yet, in order to understand where Loki is going, it's important to see where he came from.
Hiddleston can't believe how long he and Loki have been connected. "I've been playing this character for 11 years," he says. "Which is the first time I have said that sentence, I realize, and it [blows] my mind. I don't know what percentage that is exactly of my 40 years of being alive, but it's substantial."
His time as Loki actually goes a bit further back, to 2009 — a year after Robert Downey Jr. big banged the MCU into existence with Iron Man — when he auditioned for Thor. It's no secret that Hiddleston initially went in for the role of the titular God of Thunder, but Feige and director Kenneth Branagh thought his natural charm and flexibility as an actor made him better suited for the movie's damaged antagonist. "Tom gave you an impression that he could be ready for anything, performance-wise," says Branagh, who had previously worked with him on a West End revival of Checkov's Ivanov and the BBC series Wallander. "Tom has a wild imagination, so does Loki. He's got a mischievous sense of humor and he was ready to play. It felt like he had a star personality, but he was a team player."
Hiddleston fully immersed himself in the character. Outside of studying Loki's history in the Marvel Comics, he also researched how Loki and the Trickster God archetype appeared across mythology and different cultures. "He understood that he was already in something special [and] it was a special character in a special part of that early moment in the life of the Marvel universe where [he] also needed to step up in other ways," says Branagh, who was impressed by the emotional depth Hiddleston brought to the part, especially when it came to how isolated Loki felt in the Asgardian royal family.

There was a lot riding on that first Thor feature. For one, no one knew if audiences would immediately latch onto a Shakespearean superhero movie partially set on an alien planet populated by the Norse Gods of legend. Second, it was integral to Feige's plans for the shared universe. Loki was supposed to be the main villain in The Avengers, which would not only mirror how Earth's mightiest heroes joined forces in 1963's Avengers #1 but also give Thor a believable reason for teaming up with Iron Man, Captain America (Chris Evans), and the rest of the capes. Feige first clued Hiddleston into those larger plans when the actor was in L.A. before Thor started shooting.
"I was like, 'Excuse me?' Because he was already three, four steps ahead," says Hiddleston. "That took me a few minutes to process, because I didn't quite realize how it just suddenly had a scope. And being cast as Loki, I realized, was a very significant moment for me in my life, and was going to remain. The creative journey was going to be so exciting."
Hiddleston relished the opportunity to go full villain in Avengers, like in the scene where Loki ordered a crowd to kneel before him outside a German opera house: "It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation," says the Machiavellian god. "The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel."
"I just knew that in the structure of that film, I had to lean into his role as a pure antagonist," Hiddleston recalls. "What I always found curious and complex about the way Loki is written in Avengers, is that his status as an antagonist comes from the same well of not belonging and being marginalized and isolated in the first Thor film. Loki now knows he has no place in Asgard."
Loki did find a place within the audience's hearts, though. Feige was "all in" on Hiddleston as his Loki from the beginning, but even he couldn't predict how much fans would love him. Feige recalls the reaction at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con: "Did we know that after he was the villain in two movies, he would be bringing thousands of people to their feet in Hall H, in costume, chanting his name? No, that was above and beyond the plan that we were hoping for and dreaming of." It was a dream Feige first got an inkling of a year earlier during the Avengers press tour when a Russian fan slipped past security, snuck into Mark Ruffalo's car, and asked the Hulk actor to give Hiddleston a piece of fan art she created. "That was one of the early signs there was much more happening with this quote-unquote villain."
Despite that popularity, the plan was to kill Loki off in 2013's Thor: The Dark World, but the studio reversed course after test audiences refused to believe he actually died fighting the Dark Elves. Alas, he couldn't out-illusion death forever. After returning in Taika Waititi's colorful and idiosyncratic Thor: Ragnarok, Hiddleston's character perished for real in the opening moments of Infinity War. In typical Loki fashion, before Thanos crushed his windpipe, he delivered a defiant speech that indicated he'd finally made peace with the anger he felt toward his family.
"It felt very, very final, and I thought, 'Okay, that's it. This is Loki's final bow and a conclusive end to the Odinson saga,'" says Hiddleston, who shot that well-earned death scene in 2017.
But, though he didn't know it yet, the actor's MCU story was far from over.

When Hiddleston returned to film two scenes in Avengers: Endgame in 2017, he had no idea where Loki portaled off to after snatching the Tesseract. "Where'd he go? When does he go? How does he get there? These are all questions I remember asking on the day, and then not being given any answers," Hiddleston recalls. To be fair, it's likely the Powers That Be didn't necessarily have answers then. While Feige can't exactly recall when the writers' room for Endgame first devised Loki's escape sequence, he does know that setting up a future show wasn't the primary goal — because a Loki series wasn't on the horizon just yet.
"[That scene] was really more of a wrinkle so that one of the missions that the Avengers went on in Endgame could get screwed up and not go well, which is what required Cap and Tony to go further back in time to the '70s," says Feige. Soon after that, though, former Disney CEO Bob Iger approached Feige about producing content for the studio's forthcoming streaming service. "I think the notion that we had left this hanging loose end with Loki gave us the in for what a Loki series could be. So by the time [Endgame] came out, we did know where it was going."
As for Hiddleston, he didn't find out about the plans for a Loki show until spring 2018, a few weeks before Infinity War hit theaters. "I probably should not have been surprised, but I was," says the actor. "But only because Infinity War had felt so final."
Nevertheless, Hiddleston was excited about returning for his show. He was eager to explore Loki's powers, especially the shapeshifting, and what it meant that this disruptive figure still managed to find a seat beside the gods in mythology. "I love this idea [of] Loki's chaotic energy somehow being something we need. Even though, for all sorts of reasons, you don't know whether you can trust him. You don't know whether he's going to betray you. You don't why he's doing what he's doing," says Hiddleston. "If he's shapeshifting so often, does he even know who he is? And is he even interested in understanding who he is? Underneath all those masks, underneath the charm and the wit, which is kind of a defense anyway, does Loki have an authentic self? Is he introspective enough or brave enough to find out? I think all of those ideas are all in the series — ideas about identity, ideas about self-knowledge, self-acceptance, and the difficulty of it."
“The series will explore Loki's powers in a way they have not yet been explored, which is very, very exciting.”
The thing that truly sold Hiddleston on the show was Marvel's decision to include the Time Variance Authority, a move he describes as "the best idea that anybody had pertaining to the series." Feige and Loki executive producer Stephen Broussard had hoped to find a place for the TVA — an organization that debuted in 1986's Thor #372 and has appeared in She-Hulk and Fantastic Four stories — in the MCU for years, but the right opportunity never presented itself until Loki came along. "Putting Loki into his own procedural series became the eureka moment for the show," says Feige.
The TVA's perspective on time and reality also tied into the themes that Waldron, Loki's head writer, was hoping to explore. "Loki is a character that's always reckoning with his own identity, and the TVA, by virtue of what they do, is uniquely suited to hold up a mirror to Loki and make him really confront who he is and who he was supposed to be," says Waldron. Hiddleston adds: "[That] was very exciting because in the other films, there was always something about Loki that was very controlled. He seemed to know exactly what the cards in his hand were and how he was going to play them…. And Loki versus the TVA is Loki out of control immediately, and in an environment in which he's completely behind the pace, out of his comfort zone, destabilized, and acting out."
To truly dig into who Loki is, the creative team had to learn from the man who knows him best: Hiddleston. "I got him to do a thing called Loki School when we first started," says director Kate Herron. "I asked him to basically talk through his 10 years of the MCU — from costumes to stunts, to emotionally how he felt in each movie. It was fantastic."
Hiddleston got something out of the Loki school, too. Owen Wilson both attended the class and interviewed Hiddleston afterward so that he could better understand Loki, as his character Mobius is supposed to be an expert on him. During their conversation, Wilson pointedly asked Hiddleston what he loved about playing the character.
"And I said, 'I think it's because he has so much range,'" says Hiddleston. "I remember saying this to him: 'On the 88 keys on the piano, he can play the twinkly light keys at the top. He can keep it witty and light, and he's the God of Mischief, but he can also go down to the other side and play the heavy keys. And he can play some really profound chords down there, which are about grief and betrayal and loss and heartbreak and jealousy and pride.'" Hiddleston recalls Wilson being moved by the description: "He said, 'I think I might say that in the show.' And it was such a brilliant insight for me into how open Owen is as an artist and a performer.'"

Everyone involved is particularly excited for audiences to see Hiddleston and Wilson's on-screen chemistry. "Mobius is not unlike Owen Wilson in that he's sort of nonplussed by the MCU," says Feige. "[Loki] is used to getting a reaction out of people, whether it's his brother or his father, or the other Avengers. He likes to be very flamboyant and theatrical. Mobius doesn't give him the reaction he's looking for. That leads to a very unique relationship that Loki's not used to."
As for the rest of the series, we know that Loki will be jumping around time and reality, but the creative team isn't keen on revealing when and where. "Every episode, we tried to take inspiration from different things," says Waldron, citing Blade Runner's noir aesthetic as one example.
"Part of the fun of the multiverse and playing with time is seeing other versions of characters, and other versions of the titular character in particular," says Feige, who also declined to confirm if Loki ties into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and/or other upcoming projects.
Making Loki was especially meaningful to Hiddleston because they shot most of it during the pandemic, in late 2020. "It will remain one of the absolute most intense, most rewarding experiences of my life," he says. "It's a series about time, and the value of time, and what time is worth, and I suppose what the experience of being alive is worth. And I don't quite know yet, and maybe I don't have perspective on it, if all the thinking and the reflecting that we did during the lockdown ended up in the series. But in some way, it must have because everything we make is a snapshot of where we were in our lives at that time."
While it remains to be seen what the future holds for Loki beyond this initial season, Hiddleston isn't preparing to put the character to bed yet. "I'm open to everything," he says. "I have said goodbye to the character. I've said hello to the character. I said goodbye to the character [again]. I've learned not to make assumptions, I suppose. I'm just grateful that I'm still here, and there are still new roads to explore."

"JJ, we have to split up." You barely looked back at her, missing the nervous expression on her face as you ran toward the cornfield. "I'll take the field, you take the barn."
You slowed to a brisk walk as you neared the cornfield, raising your gun in front of you. You couldn't help but think about how pissed Hotch would be if he knew what you were doing.
You shook off the thought, knowing he would do the same if the roles were reversed.
Spotting movement, you moved farther into the corn, trying to spot any signs indicating which way Tobias went. A bent corn husk was the last thing you saw before the world went black.
-
"He's not a witness. He's the unsub." Hotch's eyes went wide as he realized you and JJ were there without backup. "Call JJ, now." He instructed Morgan, taking out his own phone to call you.
Hotch's eyes met Morgan's as both calls went unanswered. No words were exchanged as everyone ran out to the SUVS, putting on bulletproof vests as they went.
Hotch was nervously tapping the steering wheel the entire drive to Hankel's house. He couldn't stop replaying your last conversation.
"Y/N, you and JJ go talk to Hankel. Find out if he saw anything." Despite his stern expression, you could tell his eyes were smiling at you.
"Sure thing." You nodded, mouthing 'I love you' before turning to JJ.
That's it. He didn't even have the chance to mouth it back. JJ would've seen, and even though the team has theories about your relationship, you haven't confirmed anything yet.
He pulled into the driveway, running up to the house, gun out before anyone could stop him.
Prentiss followed Hotch, Morgan and Reid took the left, Rossi and a local cop took the right.
They tore through the house, clearing it with fierce determination, but came up empty.
"It's clear." Rossi called, joining Hotch and Prentiss in the living room. "Where are Morgan and Reid?"
Hotch spared a glance out the window, discovering the barn likely being cleared by the missing agents.
Everyone ran out of the house, arriving outside the barn just as Morgan and Reid lead a distressed JJ outside.
"What happened?" Hotch questioned, glancing over JJ's shoulder into the barn. Clearly you weren't there, but he needed to hope.
"We split up. Y/N went into the cornfield... I had- I had to shoot them." Her voice was detached, eyes glazed over.
"The dogs." Morgan clarified, leading JJ to a paramedic.
"Dammit. The house is clear. No sign of Y/N or Hankel." Hotch ran a hand through his hair, trying to clear his mind. The worry was nearly overpowering, but it wouldn't help find you.
The sheriff approached, removing his hat. "A deputy two towns over gave directions to a man matching Hankel's description. He's headed for a hunting lodge."
Morgan nodded to Prentiss. "We'll check it out."
-
Your head was pounding. A vile scent reached your nose, causing your eyes to flicker open. You flinched at the closeness of the man in front of you.
"Tobias..." The name slipped out in a whisper.
"They're not here. It's just me now." He stated, calmer than you would've expected.
"Who are you?" You asked, trying to portray a fake sense of calm.
"I'm Rafael." He pulled out a revolver, adding a single bullet to the six chambers.
"No. You don't have to do this." Your heart ached, fear gripping your body as he aimed the gun at you.
"It is my duty to enact God's will." He said, right before pulling the trigger.
-
Hotch pulled back into the driveway, leading Garcia into the house.
"His computer setup is in there. If there's even a hint of where they might've gone, I need you to find it." Hotch gestured to the back room.
Penelope nodded. Carrying her own computer bags, she followed Derek into the depths of the house.
"What've we got?" Hotch questioned those remaining around the table.
"He knew he could throw us off, pretend to be looking for a hunting lodge." Emily spoke quickly.
"We've got piles of information, journals, notebooks. We're still sifting through it all." JJ added, shirt still bloody from yesterday.
Just then, Reid rushed in from another room. "The walls in the bedroom, they are covered in the latin phrase 'honora patrem tuum', honor thy father."
"Garcia, look for anything you can find about his father." Hotch gave out orders, but his focus was elsewhere. What was happening to you?
"Over here!" Morgan called from outside.
The team ran around the house to see Morgan opening a cellar door. Nodding slightly, Hotch and Morgan made there way inside.
"Tobias Hankel, FBI." Morgan shouted, receiving no answer.
They quickly found the dead body of none other than Hankel's father. Even the new information did little to calm the worry brewing inside of Hotch.
-
"Confess your sins." He ordered.
"My sins? I don't have any sins." You did your best to hold back the tears, trying to figure out who you were talking to.
"Everyone has sins. Confess, and you will be forgiven." He stared you down, waiting for a response.
You simply shook your head, mouth slightly agape. The smell was getting to you. You couldn't think straight with the pain in your head.
"I- I don't know what-"
"YES YOU DO. CONFESS." He hit you, whipping your head to the left.
-
"Hotch, he took drugs to escape. Dilaudid cut with a psychedelic." Emily relayed the information her and JJ got from Tobias's sponsor.
"We've got something too. The dates in his journals don't add up. He was talking about his father as if he was alive months after he killed him."
"His father beat him, preached about sin." Emily replied, putting the pieces together alongside Hotch.
"Split personality. Profile the father. He could be the key to finding Y/N." Even just saying your name he felt his heart clench.
-
"Who are you?" You questioned him as soon as he walked through the door, trying to figure out who you were dealing with this time.
"Tobias." He moved about the cabin almost nervously.
"Who was here before?" You knew Rafael, but the other personality was a mystery.
"My father." Definitely the most violent. He was who you had to look out for. "I'm sorry if he hurt you."
Tobias looked over you newly forming bruises before pulling off his belt.
"No. No what are you doing?" You felt your heart rate increase as he wrapped the belt around your arm. You could barely register the words he was saying, something about escaping from the pain.
"Please. I don't want it. I'm fine." You begged, tears brimming your eyes. He ignored your pleas, injecting the drug into your bloodstream.
Despite how much you hated it, you felt the relief he was talking about. The pain was gone, even if just briefly. You thought about your time spent with Hotch. It didn't feel like long enough. You wanted more. You had so much you wanted to do with him.
"Aaron..." You mumbled his name between kisses. "They could see us." You did little to stop him, despite your words.
"We should tell them." He whispered against your mouth, holding you close. "They would be happy for us."
You sighed blissfully, forehead pressed against his. "Really? You know they've got a pool going to see when we'd finally get together. Who do you think had money on 4 months ago?" You laughed into his neck, pulling him closer.
"My bet's on Rossi. He knows us both too well." Aaron smiled, a full genuine smile.
"You're probably right, but just to make it interesting, I'm betting Reid. He's too observant not to have noticed." You squinted at the window, knowing Reid was staring at the closed blinds on the other side.
That earned a laugh, one you could feel in his chest pressed tightly to your own.
"I love you." He kissed your head, content to hold you for a little while longer.
"I love you too." You leaned ever farther into him. "We can tell them when we get back from this next case."
"Deal."
-
"Get in here!" Reid called from the computer room, pointing to a screen where you were being broadcast. You were handcuffed and tied to a chair, clearly beaten.
"Pick one to die." The voice of Tobias could be heard, despite him not being visible on the screen.
You shook your head, staring into the camera. You wanted to plead for Hotch to save you, but you knew it wouldn't be fair. He didn't need that on his conscience.
"Choose one, and I will free another."
You shook your head again, trying to think of a clue you could give the team. "I won't let you hunt them like a poacher."
"Now. Or I will kill them all." He threatened, lifting you from the ground.
"I'll pick who lives." You stuttered, breaths coming fast and short. "The right screen."
You were forced to watch as he turned off the camera, leaving the screens to show the heinous murders he was about to commit.
Suddenly, Rossi was talking to you through the screen. The sight of him nearly brought you to tears.
"Y/N. This isn't your fault. None of it. You can't blame yourself. We will find you, but I need you to be there when we do."
You knew exactly what he meant. You were already blaming yourself, despite Rossi's father like relationship with you, it was hard to believe him.
It did give you the strength to remember the team though. You needed to see them, all of them, again.
-
"He's back!" Morgan called everyone in to view the screens again.
"Confess your sins." They watched as he beat you.
You cried. You begged him to stop. You begged Tobias for help, but nothing worked.
Hotch felt his heart break even more with every word.
Suddenly, you were on the ground, still tied to the chair. You were seizing, Charles Hankel watching as it happened.
The screen went dark, causing Hotch to punch the desk.
"Dammit." He shouted. He didn't care if his worry was beginning to poke through the surface. He needed to find you and he needed to do it now.
"The timestamp." Emily's voice drew him out of his head. "There's only a few minutes between the time of death and when it was posted. He's got to be close to the crime scene."
Finally. Something that felt like progress.
-
They watched the screen as you appeared again.
"Choose one to die." It was Rafael this time.
"I can't. I can't do it." Your face betrayed every emotion you were feeling inside.
"Pick one." He stated again.
"Me. Kill me." You nearly begged.
"You said you weren't one of them. Your team has 7 other members. Choose one of them to die."
You shook your head, fear gripping you once again as he pulled out the revolver.
"Choose." He connected the gone to your forehead, resting it there.
"No." He pulled the trigger, watching as you flinched.
"Choose." You shook your head, tensing as he pulled the trigger again.
Hotch felt his heart in his stomach, internally begging you to just say a name. He couldn't watch you die, not like this.
"Choose." He pulled the trigger yet again at your silence.
"I won't do it." You held firm, knowing you had limited chances.
"Choose one to die."
You opened your mouth, panting as an idea came to you.
"I choose... Aaron Hotchner." Your heart ached even saying it, but you needed to give him a clue. "He's a classic narcissist. Thinks he's better than everyone. He'd go to his grave knowing he was wrong." You winced internally, trying not to give away your plan.
Hotch left the room, trying to understand your words. The two of you had just argued about the definition of classic narcissism.
"I think you're wrong." You laughed at his amused expression.
"Yeah? Or do you just like making me exasperated?" He questioned your motives, pulling you closer as you laid in bed together.
"Maybe a little bit of both." You shrugged, leaning up to kiss him. "Promise me something?" You asked, a nervous expression on your face.
"What?" He looked at you with so much concern, you felt your heart beat a little faster.
"If... If I die, you can't blame yourself." He opened his mouth to protest, but you kept going. "I know you Aaron. You'd take it to grave thinking it was your fault. I can't let you do that. Not when I know you blame yourself for Haley's death." You felt your heart break for him and the pain he had been through. "Promise me." You were nearly begging.
"I promise." He whispered, his throat tight at the idea of losing you.
He was brought back to the present by the sound of Rossi's voice.
"Hotch, you know Y/N didn't mean any of that." Rossi tried gently, unsure of how Hotch was coping with your situation.
"I'm not a narcissist. What's my worst quality?" He looked at the apprehensive looks everyone was giving him. "I'll start, I have no sense of humor."
He nodded along as his team listed his faults.
"None of you said I ever put myself above the team, because I don't. Y/N and I just argued about the definition of classic narcissism." He paced, trying to put it together. "I'd take it to my grave... Grave was a hint."
"What? How do you know?" Reid shook his head, trying to understand the logic.
"I made a promise. It's a long story." He shook his head, trying to clear the memory so he could focus. "Y/N knew I would remember it."
"A cemetary. It's got to be a cemetary." Morgan added.
"No cemeteries on the map." Garcia was typing away on the computer.
"Like a poacher." Reid whispered, staring at the screen.
"Reid?" Hotch looked at him, eyes pleading for an answer.
"That's what Y/N said in the first video. 'I won't let you hunt them like a poacher.'" He said it louder, more excited than before.
"Garcia, any reports of poaching in the area?" Hotch asked, the idea of finding you causing hope to erupt in his chest.
"Yes, at Marshall Parrish... and there's a cemetery on the grounds." She gave them the address, watching as they ran out to the SUVs.
-
"I'm sorry." Tobias said it so softly, you were almost certain you didn't hear it at all.
"Wh- why?" Your eyebrows pulled together in confusion, trying to make sense of it.
"He'll win. In the end, he always does." He rose from the crouched position, slowly injecting you with more drugs.
"Hotch!" You screamed, feeling arms restraining you from behind.
You watched as he went into the hostage situation, unarmed and without a vest.
"Derek. Let me go!" You struggled in his grasp, straining to get free.
"There's nothing you can do, he's already inside." He stated the truth, although it did little to calm your nerves.
You settled down, throat tight with worry. You bit your lip, eyes flitting between the door and windows. You just needed a sign, anything to say he was alright.
The sound of a gun firing stunned you. You were frozen in place, fear consuming you. You had just told him you loved him for the first time this morning. What if you never get to say it again? What if that's all the time you got.
You stared in horror as everyone ran toward the house, only to freeze when a voice shouted everything was fine.
"It's fine." He huffed, carrying the small child out of the house toward a waiting EMT. "Baxter is dead."
"Aaron..." You whispered the name, realizing how powerless you felt when he was in danger. The two of you made eye contact across the yard, a reassuring look in his eye.
"Aaron..." You whispered, blinking rapidly as you slowly came to.
"What about Aaron." Charles. Tobias's dad was back.
"I couldn't stop him. I couldn't keep him safe." You muttered to yourself, not fully understanding the situation.
"Is that a confession?" He asked, voice hard.
"Yes." It was more of a breath of air than a word, but it was all he needed to condemn you.
He unlocked your handcuffs, forcing a shovel into your newly freed arms before dragging you outside.
"Dig." he instructed plainly, watching over you as stray tears wet the ground beneath you.
-
"Clear." Morgan called from one side of the shed.
"Clear" Hotch replied from the other. With the whole team in the small space, it wasn't exactly necessary but it was habit.
Hotch could feel his nerves picking up again as he realized this meant you were still with Tobias. He paced back and forth, feeling powerless.
"Spread out. They have to be on foot." He left without waiting for a response, turning left with JJ to look for you.
-
You did your best to stall, but Charles wasn't the most patient.
"Dig faster."
"I'm trying. I'm trying." You whimpered, movements speeding up ever so slightly. The massive knife in his hands causing your own to shake.
"You're weak. Move." He huffed, throwing his jacket to the ground before ripping the shovel from your hands.
A flash of light in the trees caught your eye. Flashlights. Your team. Aaron.
Your eyes flickered between the man in front of you and the trees, causing him to turn.
You took the split second he wasn't looking to grab the gun from his jacket, swiftly aiming it as he turned back to you knife raised.
"Only one bullet in that gun." He lunged for you, falling backwards after you pulled the trigger.
You dropped the gun, quickly tossing the knife away.
"Tobias?" You cried, moving back toward him.
"You killed me." He seemed surprised, but grateful at the same time.
You felt the tears pouring down your face as you apologized.
"I'm so sorry. I'm so so sorry." You grabbed his hand, watching the light fade from his eyes as he asked one final question.
"You think I'll get to see my mom again?"
You barely registered the arms around you, pulling you to your feet. You couldn't take your eyes off of Tobias. He wasn't the one who hurt you. He helped you, or at least tried.
"I killed him." Your breathing picked up, vision blurring.
"Y/N, look at me." You turned to the voice, blinking rapidly to stop the tears.
"Aaron?" You took a stuttering breath, trying to make sure this was real.
"I'm here. It's okay. You're okay. You're safe now." His words were just as reassuring to himself as they were to you. You caught JJ's eye over Hotch's shoulder, quickly moving to hug her.
"Y/N, I'm so sorry. I never should've-" You cut her off.
"None of this was your fault. It was my idea to split up. I'm so sorry." You cried into her shoulder, knowing how guilty she must've felt.
She hugged you back, tears brimming her own eyes at seeing you alive again.
She lead you to the EMT, not commenting on the look you threw over your shoulder at Aaron. He quickly followed you to the ambulance. JJ left you to talk to Hotch, who stayed beside you the entire time the medics looked you over.
"I didn't mean it." You said when you were finally alone, sitting between the open doors of the ambulance.
"What?" Aaron questioned, his mind not following your own train of thought.
"When... When I had to choose. I didn't mean any of it." You could feel the tears coming, but this time you did nothing to hold them back.
"I know. I knew the whole time." You brushed your tears away, looking you in the eye. "I love you so much." He whispered, his own eyes feeling watery.
"I love you too." You leaned into him, relishing in the feeling of his arm around you. You couldn't help but look over at the team, all of whom quickly pretended not to be watching. You huffed a laugh.
"Yeah, I think they're going to have some questions." Hotch smiled, glad to see you happy even if just for a second.
"After this case, right?" You looked back at him, confirming you still wanted to share your relationship with the team.
"Deal." He smiled, arm tightening around your shoulders to pull you closer.
-
You couldn't help but bring it up on the jet ride home.
"So, who had money on four months ago?" You questioned, tucked into Aaron's side on the couch.
"What?" Emily raised a brow at your sudden statement.
"That's when we started dating." You grinned at her shocked expression.
"Dammit Reid." Morgan huffed, handing over the money.
"Don't forget Rossi!" Reid high fived the older man, the two grinning like the Cheshire Cat.
"Looks like we were both right." Hotch smiled into your hair, trying to hide his laugh.
"Yeah. We make a pretty good team." You smiled, leaning into his touch.
"I love you." He murmured, face still in your hair. You turned your face into his chest before responding.
"I love you too."

Tumblr media
extra meaning non-canonical occurrence; can be placed anywhere in the “make you say oh” timeline after couple (cha. 14) and before the final “oh”.
pairing—corpse husband x f!reader warnings—tinder profiles, tw: men, swearing.  word count—2.6k. format— written. ─── ❥ req by nonnie:  y/n makes a youtube vid/live stream where she's just swiping through her tinder acc and corpse literally blocks her lmao
author’s note—akldsljfs this was such a funny idea i could not not write it lmao
ultimate masterlist. myso masterlist
Tumblr media
You have pulled the biggest brain move by setting up both a facecam and a screen recorder on your phone. All is beautifully displayed and visible during the stream. Your fanbase is particularly intrigued on what exactly are you planning on doing today, seeing as your tweet of “strea” had been a bit vague, if not downright ominous. No emojis. No elaboration. You couldn’t even be bothered to finish the word. Truly, a mystery. Everyone tuned in and are currently waiting with bated breath.
A few of your fans must sense upcoming doom because the overall mood in the chat turns from optimistically intrigued to...evil. It’s an entity all on it’s own now, clawing at you through the screen with various renditions of laughter and devil emojis. A few eggplants thrown in there for good measure, accompanied, naturally, by the scandalous water drops. At first the common consensus is that you’re biting the bullet and going through your camera roll on stream. Definitely an idea worth considering, though you frankly don’t know what lies at the start of the 11k photograph journey, and you are afraid to check in public. Could be a harmless meme, could be a salacious pic you had saved of an OF star. It’s really a gamble. Either way, you would definitely get banned. You might still get banned. Why do you insist on doing shit like this?
Because it’s funny. Because you’re kinda stupid. Because it’s just so absolutely laughably easy to do.
A smile quirks your lips, and while it is not explicitly smug, the look in your eyes sure is, “Greetings,” You utter lowly, dimming the lights--the budget for this stream! Ugh, you went all out, “my children.”
mother i crave violence
sensing evil energy rn!!
i do not claim the energy in this video for myself or anyone else watching this 💖💖
^with peace and love shut the fuck up
“I know y’all lowkey hoes-” Upon your words the chat splits into two: one side eagerly agrees (even shares a few OF accounts! How helpful, supporting small businesses!), whilst the other feverishly insists on innocence. You make a face stuck somewhere between offended and bewildered, “Now c'mon now-I know you. I know you all. We’re the same, don’t-what was that?”
You try to scroll back to the comment but it’s loss in the sea of incoming messages, “I swear to God I just saw-”
Corpse_Husband: i love late night streams it’s not like i have anything better to do.
“COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORPSE!!!!”
rip headphone users
i cant feel my face when im with you by the weeknd but instead of face its my fucking ears
yall think full vol on pc is better?my parents woke up 😭😭😭😭
To think he’s spending his last waking moments for today with watching you (he probably still would have anyway, because you do not posses an ounce of shame or self-control and pester him relentlessly)! It makes your heart sing, and suddenly, a traitorous, fun hating idea barges it’s way through the crowd of incoherent buzzing and states: don’t do this. For some reason it also has the voice of Rae. As if that would work in guilt-tripping you- Rae never succeed, and her fictitious rendition in mind won’t fare much better either.
Still, you thought about it. That must count for something. Corpse will understand, won’t he? Why don’t you want to upset it in the first place? Men look so funny when they lose their shit, like hello, don’t you have anything better to do? But the image of Corpse just sitting there, hurt, distraught, leaving you on seen because he’s in his sad boy hours leaves a sour taste in your mouth.
queen rly went from  🥺😊 to 😕 u ok bbgirl?
Corpse_Husband: no pouts cutie
akjdjoeijdfse cUTIE??? deadass boutta r.i.p.
Well that succeeded in eliminating everything from mind, doubts included. If this was an anime, the scenery would shift into something roseate, with flowers and bubbles and sparkles all around you along with a halo or two. Alas, not an anime, rather reality. The led-lights, however, seemingly possessing a will of their own, slowly turn from deep violet to pink. You smile brightly, like the absolute dumbass you are, and you are met with a ray of heart and blushing emojis. You are just so cute, a real cutie! Still in your disguise adorable state, you swipe your finger on your phone screen, the grin never leaving your lips.
There, among the plethora of apps, nestled sits a red square with a white fire plastered on it. The delicate calligraphy on the bottom reads: TINDER.
The mood changes once again- you’re giving the roaches emotional instability by how quickly everything flips over- and the chat spams eggplants vigorously; some, of course, bravely fight against the thirst.
nooooooo i thought y/n is gonna stream in a god honoring way!!!
^pack it up girl defined
“So, Charlie and I-” You note a few awfully curious comments and squint, “-yes, we talk a lot. Charlie is a really good friend of mine. We’re best friends. Brothers. Sisters. Cousins. The whole fucking family tree-no, that sounds weird. Delete. Anyway, Charlie, being the absolute fucker he is, said, hey, you know what would be funny? And I was like, nooo, what would be funny, Charlie? And he says to me, he says, says, making fun of men on Tinder. And if y’all need any more proof that Charlie and I are platonic soulmates, then dunno, my children, my roaches, I dunno-I dunno what more to give you.”
You can’t be bothered reading the comments, there’s too damn many. You also need to save your reading comprehension for the actual bios. It has a time limit, that darn thing.
“Okay, so I made a profile earlier, but I hadn’t swiped on anyone yet-” Despite the fact, Tinder helpfully informs you that already 99+ people have swiped right on you, “So, this is me,” You show the pictures you have of yourself, and damn, not to be a conceited narcissist, but you look really good. Like if you saw yourself on Tinder, you’d super like instantly. “Uhm, so, my bio-my bio says: let’s sauce in the tub together, ya dig? splishy splashy, giggle giggle.”
i cant believe we are witnessing y/n trying to form a coherent sentence live
shes trying give her time
ya dig??? y not capeesh
what scene from the godfather is this lol?
“My anthem, is,” You laugh, covering your lips with your hand, “Corpsie, this is form you-” Proudly, you show that indeed, Corpse’s E-GIRLS ARE RUINING MY FUCKING LIFE is listed as your anthem on Spotify, “Hehe.” Yes, you say that aloud.
Corpse_Husband: you’re killing me Corpse_Husband: thanks baby Corpse_Husband: now delete tinder ❤︎
You ignore his last quip, deciding it’s finally time to get this show on the road, “Right, let’s do this shit. I’m not actually going to swipe on any guys that look, uh, decent? Yuck, can’t believe I just said that, uhm, because I-because I feel like some actually deserve a chance with someone? I don’t wanna get anyone’s hopes up, as I am currently in a long distance relationship with Chrollo. So I’m just gonna swipe on, like, frat boy assholes. Because I don’t care if I hurt their feelings. Quite frankly I don’t think they possess them in the first place.”
The chat voices their agreements. With the ground rules set, you, giddy, click on the first profile.
Does Tinder know what you’re doing, your plan? The FBI agent watching you through your phone must be working overtime, bless his heart. They must, because the the first guy to meet you is named Jason, and there he is, blond hair and blue eyes, holding up a fish the size of his torso. Marginally adequate in looks, pretty good muscles. A solid 7 bordering on 8. He’s the same age as you, 15 miles away, and he studies at some college you don’t care enough to look up. Bio reads:
I like to drive fast. Fishing is my passion, but if you can’t catch me by the ocean, you’ll catch me catching waves, bro! Love a good gym date. You do squats, and I’ll keep a close eye to make sure you’re doing it correctly ;) You probably saw me at a party. Leader of the The Phi Kappa Psi. I’m a Gemini, if that matters lol.
You, of course, read it aloud, dramatically; provide some constructive criticism-he seems nice, but he’s a Gemini, so naturally, you can’t trust him at all! Also, that gym date session leaves little to be desired. With your rant done, you swipe right, and shocker! (not), it’s an instant match.
“Okie, I still wanna swipe of some profiles, so I’ll see what he’ll text later-” For a second you wonder the legalities of this stream, but you’re having too much fun to think of it further, “guys, I won't get sued, right?”
NOW she considers it
well....
if you do, we’ll kickstart your lawyer dw <3
Onto the next profile. Kevin, 25, is seen fixing his car- or, you assume he’s mid-fixing it, you don’t really know why else he’d hold a wrench and be covered in oil. He’s shirtless, and the caveman part of your brain echoes something closely resembling AWOOOGA!, but...but!...blonde hair, blue eyes. You pout again, “I don’t...I don’t really like blond boys, ya know? With the blue eyes and all, it’s just not my thing, uhm, unless it’s like-like...Armin from Attack on Titan. Else I don’t care.”
Onto the bio:
You have to treat a car like you treat a woman: go on long rides, take the lead, but most importantly, keep her oiled up 😜
“What the fuck did I just read?”
The chat is equally confused. You swipe right anyway- another match. Too easy.
The stream continues without incident for a solid thirty minutes- all of your matches, expect a few that genuinely looked like normal dudes that really couldn’t write a decent bio to save their lives, had been blond hair blue eyed gym rats with ranging forms of misogyny. Some opened with asking for nudes out right, some asked about your day first before asking for nudes. You prefer the former. Straight to the point! You admire the gall.
But then, down the forty-five minute mark a profile popped up that made you still by your phone, your smile dying as your eyes bulged. Dear God. Lord in heaven. Who is this demonspiit lookalike and why is he so fucking hot? The neck tats, the skateboard, the clothes- holy shit, you gotta close your mouth before some drool dribbles out.
No bio, just his name, Tyler, and that he’s 23.
“He boutta be 23 in me.” You mutter, swiping right with lightning speed.
WHAT DID SHE SAYYYYY?????????
tyler is y/ns karma for relentlessly mocking that one guy that had a whole ass list on what his “female” partner should be
^he deserved it and also tyler seems like a typical fuckboi y/n grow a braincell
look at mom 🥺 her eyes are sparkling
It wasn’t a match right away. You somehow expected as much, but it still upset you. Simp behavior, pathetic. The stream continued bravely, and when Tyler messaged you a simple “yo” you totally didn’t sequel. You didn’t manage to text him back on stream: texting all those guys that you didn’t really find all that attractive was easy, but this...You’re a sucker for a man who radiates red flag energy. His whole profile is a red flag. He might just be a red flag himself.
What can you do? Suddenly becoming color blind is not easy. Once the stream ends, you unmatch with everyone expect Tyler. He you chat with for a bit, but a sudden craving for different company makes you abandon him, too. You don’t feel too heartbroken for him- you’re certain there’s already too many girls in his dms. You wish them luck.
Happily, you delete Tinder. You go to Twitter, notice you’re trending again- look at you go! Queen shit- and as you compose a thank you tweet, something strange happens. You go to text Corpse, but when you click on his profile you grow cold.
YOU’RE BLOCKED. You can’t follow or see @/Corpse_Husband ‘s Tweets.
...Pardon? You hop onto Instragram and-also blocked. Seriously? And you thought you’re one petty bitch. Corpse is seriously prissy about everything. Damn, if he didn’t like your stream, he could’ve just said so. Didn’t need to, like, block you from his internet existence. So not cool.
You try texting him but no text go through. Well how will you let him know you deleted Tinder just like he asked? You relieve your frustrations by punching your pillow a few times. Later, you apologize to her, you didn’t mean to hurt her, it’s not her, it’s you. Fuck, 5 minutes of exile and you’re already loosing your mind.
“Raeeeeeeeeeeee!” You whine loudly. It’s roughly 2am now, but you don’t care. You’re too heartbroken to care. There’s a thump from her room, but nothing else, “Raeeeeeeeee!!!” You wail, wallowing in self-pity on your bed. You hear a very loud, very annoyed sigh from her room, followed by angry marching. Your door is abruptly thrown open, and in the dim, colorful light you see her scowl.
“What?” She grits.
“Can you please tell Corpse to unblock me from everything?”
“What did you do now?”
“I made fun of men on Tinder.”
She pauses, “...That doesn’t sound so bad.” She surmises, voice laced with suspicion, “What else?”
“...There was one really hot guy that I kinda sorta talked to after--”
“Y/n.”
“-But I totally deleted Tinder and honestly he was pretty boring, so, like, uhm, please?”
She sighs, the servery of which implies she is holding the weight of the world on her shoulders, and instantly you know that you won. She taps away at her phone, “You owe me one.” She states, and before you can reply, she exits your room and slams the door behind her.
Grinning, you text his phone again. The message goes through, oh gosh, you’re so relieved you feel like crying. This has been, officially, the worst five minutes of your life.
You Y DID U BLOCK ME LOSER!!! MAJOR LOSER ALERT!! I DELETED EVERYTHING IT WAS A JOKE r u still mad at me? y u always mad at me i never do anything:(
my husband You’re my baby, how do you think I’ll react when I see you publicly simping for some asshole on Tinder?
Oh no, he used the words, he delivered the killing blow. You’re finished. Your heart can’t take such a workout.
Not that you would ever admit it to him, though!
You hehe ur jellyyyy u always dis jealous hehe?
my husband Not jealous.
Yeah, you might not be the brightest tool in the shed, but even you know that’s a lie. You send him an array of kissy emojis that he doesn’t have the decency to reply to. Then, completely unprompted and dead serious, you send him a simple voice memo, saying: “You really have nothing to worry about, you know? You’re my favorite, Corpsie.”
He responds via text, reiterating that he’s not fucking jealous and that he just doesn’t like when you show such outward interest in anyone but it’s not like he cares or anything. It’s just really, like, weeeeird to see his baby simping for another man like that totally ruins the whole dynamic!!! It was only natural that he should block you on every social media platform, including his personal number (which, like, was completely necessary! Doesn’t matter that his viewers can’t see it, it’s gotta be super believable!), and inform his followers of that, because it’s all a joke, like, for the dynamic, that Youtube grind, you know? Ya dig? No personal feelings were involved at all. He totally wasn’t upset that you found someone else cute, no way!
my husband I’m not jealous. Lol.
You ik u repeated tht like 50 times  u trynna convince me or??? lmao
my husband No comment. ...You don’t actually talk to anyone else like we’re talking, right?
You no one else calls me their baby if thts wat ur wondering at least not to my knowledge lol im all urs
my husband That makes me very happy to hear:)
Yeah, it makes you very happy, too.

Burn The Witch 3 - Ensnared [Bucky Barnes x Reader]
A.N: Thank you so much for your wonderful support and feedback my loves ! ❤ Here’s the next chapter, I hope you like it as well and please let me know what you think! ❤ Thank you! ❤❤❤
Warnings: Enemies to lovers, fake dating, mentions of blood, sex, violence, death, manipulation, language, guns.
Summary: Things aren’t always what they seem to be.
Series Masterlist
Tumblr media
Finding out that the target you had been assigned to seduce and manipulate for information was actually a good person had its advantages and disadvantages.
For starters, the biggest advantage was that now you could prepare a strategy based on his personality. After all, good people were easier to trick, it was the people like you that would’ve given you a hard time if the roles were reversed. You had been taught to approach everyone with suspicion and pinpoint their weak spots to use against them and as it turned out, Bucky didn’t adapt the same strategy when it came to other people.
The disadvantage? You had no idea how to deal with that.
For years and years you had been trained to kill, lie, manipulate and not look back or feel guilty about any of it because you were told that all your targets were the kind of people that would’ve harmed you or others if they had the chance; so Bucky not being evil was surprising at the very least.
The infamous Winter Soldier hadn’t tried to hurt you when he was under attack, hadn’t tried to use you as a leverage to get out of there unlike what you would’ve done if the roles were reversed.
Needless to say, you were confused as hell.
“I mean when you think about it, it’s not surprising that he’s a good guy,” Chloe said, resting her feet on the table in the empty conference room, “Didn’t he fight against Thanos with Steve Rogers and everyone else?”
“I would’ve fought in that war if I could as well, it doesn’t mean that I’m a good person.”
She pouted, “That’s debatable. I think you’re a great person.”
“No I’m not. I swear to you I’m not.”
“Come on, you don’t give yourself enough credit.”
“If it were me, I would’ve pushed him into the line of fire without a second thought.”
“Exactly. We’re terrible people and we acknowledge that, Chloe.” Keith said as you tapped your pencil on the file,
“Back to the first impression strategy, guys. How do I meet Barnes?”
“Hold on, before we continue with the strategy you need to give me an answer about your cover job,” Chloe said, “We can’t have him suspect you’re hiding anything from him. Jobs are a huge part of someone’s life, it’ll come up.”
Keith raised his head, “What are the options?”
“Oh you know, the usual. Sales assistant, retail—“
“The last time you put me in retail for an undercover job, I ended up punching a customer.” he cut her off, “I vote no to the retail.”
“I’m sure they had it coming,” you deadpanned and Chloe hmmed.
“Fast food?”
“No, it makes my hair smell bad.”
“There’s a milkshake shop I can put you in, it doesn’t smell bad. It’s close to the coffee shop he and Wilson get their coffee from.”
“What’s the catch?”
A small grin pulled at her lips, “It’ll be good for the mission.”
You frowned as Keith sat up straighter, curiosity written all over his face. “Chloe? Share your devious plans with the class please?”
“It’s a retro milkshake shop and the uniforms are like….1940s pin up meets 1950s diner waitress.”
Keith started laughing and you stared at Chloe before letting out a groan, burying your face into your palms.
“I hate you so much.”
“Come on, it’s going to be Bucky Barnes’ wet dream, you know that!” Keith said, “On a completely unrelated note, can I see those uniforms?”
“No!” you snatched the phone from Chloe’s hand before Keith could take a look, “No you can’t!”
“I’m so going to take pictures, and when you become a handler I will use them to humble you.”
“I will shoot you if you do that, and can you please focus?” you insisted, “I have a meeting with General soon, and he will ask me about the strategy and I can’t go there with no ideas.”
“Just find something you and Barnes are interested in both, that never failed me,” Keith paused, “Well that, and my good looks.”
Chloe turned to look at him, “I gave her a huge file containing everything there is to know about him,” she said, “It will help her to make him fall in love, but meeting him is something else.”
“Guys,” he rolled his eyes “What are you, fifteen? It’s incredibly easy to meet people.”
“No, it’s incredibly easy to meet civilians,” you corrected him, “Or the bad guys. It’s not like Barnes goes to bars or anything, he’s not very social.”
“Yeah I get that but he has to do something.” he insisted, “Just hand me the file, are you sure you didn’t miss anything?”
“We didn’t—he does the same thing every superhero does,” Chloe threw her hands up, “He saves people if they’re in need, but how are we going to use that?”
You opened your mouth to answer but when the thought struck you, you took a sharp breath, narrowing your eyes. A smile lit up your face, the plan slowly forming in your mind and Keith frowned at you over the file.
“Y/N you’re smiling,” he reminded you, “It’s creepy when you do it genuinely.”
“He does, doesn’t he?” you asked as you turned to Chloe, “You’re right. Superheroes save people, and—and Barnes is not only a superhero, but he’s also a good guy right? He didn’t use me as a leverage while getting out of there, so he cares about people’s wellbeing, so to speak.”
“Yeah?”
You snapped your fingers, “I need to find someone to shoot me.”
“Same, you’re not special.”
Chloe gasped, “Keith!”
“Relax, she’s not serious.”
“No I’m very serious.”
He scowled, “Did you forget what happened when I accidentally shot you on a mission three years ago? It was just one time and you bitched at me for a whole month. You found me when I was working undercover in Brazil to show up at my apartment so that you could complain about it more, I don’t even know how you found my address, it was classified info.”
“I gave her your address.” Chloe held up a hand and Keith heaved a sigh.
“Thank you Brutus.”
“You had it coming,” you pointed out, “But forget about that for a second, okay? I think I just found our strategy. We’re going to use me as a bait.”
“What?”
“That’s how I’ll meet him. We will put me in a dangerous position and he will…” you tried to ignore the bitter taste at the back of your throat, “He will have to save me.”
“I’m sorry,” Chloe said, “He will help you and you will use that to lure him, did I get that right?”
“Exactly,” you grinned, “What better way to manipulate a hero than to give him somebody to save?”
She blinked a couple of times, then turned to Keith.
“Honestly, in times like these I wonder why I’m friends with you guys,” she commented, “Do you have any idea why on earth I’m friends with you?”
He shrugged his shoulders,
“I don’t know,” he said, “Because we’re fun when we’re not diabolical?”
                                           ***
The plan was pretty simple, it would look like a robbery gone wrong. You would be accompanied by one of the lower ranking agents who would pose as a robber so that if he got caught while getting away, it would pose no threat to your cover afterwards, not to mention it couldn’t be traced back to you or the operation.
Of course, you had to make sure that Bucky would stay behind and meet you while Wilson chased the bad guy off. Based on your observations on Wilson, saving people always came first rather than punishing the other person, he put the safety of innocents before anything else, so you had to find a way for them to think Wilson was more suitable for the chase.
Motorcycle. The rookie agent would get away on a motorcycle, which would require Wilson to use his wings to gain speed on him.
But God, you just hated playing the damsel in distress.
“I just want to say I’m honored that you picked me for this mission,” the agent was almost buzzing with excitement in the back alley while you waited until Wilson and Barnes was anywhere within hearing distance. “I heard- I heard so much about you Shrike. Ma’am.”
You leaned your back to the wall, crossing your arms.
“Is it true that you once killed a target using just a pencil?” he asked, “Or that you took down five armed people with a dagger?”
You turned your head to look at him better, amusement making you smile.
“Or- or that you can get information out of someone in just five minutes?” he held his breath, “Or that your father-“
“Don’t talk about my father.” You cut him off, the harsh command leaving your lips almost too fast and you felt the slight guilt pulling at your heartstrings before you shook your head.
“You’re a good shot, right?” you asked, “I don’t want to get the bullet stuck in my arm, you’ll just graze me.”
“I’m a great shot ma’am, top of my class.”
“And you need to make it look believable. Remember, if Wilson catches you—“
“He will take me to the nearest police station, and I will stay there until an agent is sent to pick me up. But do you want me to get caught?”
“Try not to,” you shrugged your shoulders “But if he does, don’t worry about it. He has no reason to believe it’s anything more than some mugging.”
His phone beeped and he checked it, then took a deep breath, “Barnes and Wilson are within hearing distance. Are you ready?”
“Let’s do this,” you said and he grabbed his gun, then pointed it at your arm. You cleared your throat, looking over your shoulder before you turned to him and let out a very high scream, probably enough to reach the people nearby. He pulled the trigger and the gunshot echoed through the alley, a burning spreading all over your arm and making you fall to your knees.
“Are you okay?” he stepped closer to you and you tried to catch your breath.
“Go!” you hissed and he ran to the motorcycle before he rode away and as soon as he was out of your sight, Barnes and Wilson ran to the alley and you started sobbing, holding onto your arm which throbbed in pain.
Good news was he was a good shot, and he had managed to only graze you. But considering that your cover was a civilian, you doubted civilians were used to gunshot wounds, so you had to make it dramatic.
“Ma’am?” Wilson rushed to you with Barnes following him and you tried to breathe through sobs.
“Thank God, please help me—“ you sniffled and looked at the other side of the alley, breathing fast, “He took my wallet, and-and he had a motorcycle…”
“On it. Buck, stay with her.” Wilson said and ran out of the alley as Barnes crouched down to your level while you kept panting, your knees pulled to your chest, leaning back to the wall.
“Hi,” he smiled at you softly and you took a trembling breath, looking up at him with wide eyes.
“Hello,” you managed to say as he stole a look at your arm before his eyes snapped back to yours.
“I’m Bucky,” he said, “What’s your name?”
“Y/N.”
“Can I look at your arm, Y/N?”
You pursed your lips together, pretending to consider it before you raised your hand so that he could see the graze on your upper arm. He furrowed his brows for a moment, and carefully lifted your arm to see it better under the street lights while you sniffled again.
“Am I—am I going to die?” you stammered and he let out a small chuckle.
“No,” he said, “No you won’t. It’s just a graze, it doesn’t even look like it’ll need stitches. I promise.”
“But how do you know?”
“Let’s just say I’ve had my fair share of arm injuries.”
You tried to keep the look of confusion on your face before you slowly averted your gaze from him to his metal wrist and you gasped, your jaw dropping as if you were distracted from the pain.
“Bucky? As in Bucky Barnes?” you asked, “Wait, no. Right? Can’t be.”
A look of regret flashed over his face, apparently he thought that would scare you but lucky for you, you had seen it coming while coming up with a strategy.
“I heard about you!” you said, “You fought against Thanos!”
He was taken aback at the fact that you didn’t accuse him of anything his head was obviously swarming with, and that would be the one thing you could base your whole plan on.
In order to make him fall in love with you and trust you, you had to act like you trusted him, act like you had little to no knowledge of the dark side of his past. Naïve civilian girl with a soft heart was the perfect cover because as far as you could tell from his file, Bucky Barnes just wanted to come back home from war.
He had been looking for something he could call his home for decades now and you’d let him believe you were his home until your orders told you otherwise.
“That’s it?” he asked when you didn’t continue and you pulled your brows together.
“Hm?”
“That’s all you…all you wanted to say?”
“Right—” you took a deep breath, “Right, I’m sorry. Thank you for all you’ve done, for saving the world.”
“No no, I didn’t mean—“ he stopped himself, “That wasn’t what I meant. Trust me, you shouldn’t be thanking me.”
“Well I am though,” you winced when you moved your arm before turning your head to check the dark alley “Bucky? Do you… do you think that robber would come back?”
“Sam’s got it covered.” he assured you, “Don’t worry. He’s not getting away, and he’s definitely not coming back here.”
“Okay.” You murmured and wiped at your eye again with the back of your free hand before you clutched at your arm again, a sob tearing itself from your chest. “God, it just—it hurts so bad...”
He shushed you gently, “I know it does sweetheart. Let’s get you to the hospital so that it will stop hurting, alright?”
Ah.
Even by 40s standards, sweetheart was a good sign.
You shook your head, “But I can’t go to the hospital.”
“Why not?”
“I’m on a budget.”
He blinked a couple of times, “Come again?”
“I don’t have enough money for the hospital. I’m sure if I put a band aid on it or something it’d work, you said it wouldn’t need stitches and there’s a pharmacy right around the corner you see—”
“That’s not how bullet wounds work, let’s go.” He helped you up but you stumbled into him, letting him catch you as you looked up at him.
“I apologize, I just feel dizzy…” you said and he smiled softly.
“Don’t worry about it,” his voice was soothing, “You think you can walk? I can carry you.”
“No I can—I can walk,” you stammered and let him lead you out of the alley, his arm wrapped around your waist tight before he looked down at you.
“You’re shaking,” he murmured to himself, then he took off his jacket to put it over your shoulders. You pulled the oversized jacket tighter around you, brushing the sleeve over your forehead to push back your hair and only when he turned to stop a taxi you let a tiny smirk pull at your lips despite the throbbing on your arm.
Well, your superiors were going to be pleased. The first part of the mission was done.
Now all you had to do was make him fall in love with you.

Cake
A/N: In honor of the anniversary of the best tv couple ever in the history or television and frankly film. Also, a little deja vu from 3x22 and 6x01.
••••
The older woman scans through her schedule as the engaged pair admire the sample cakes in the display. She locks eyes with the brunette and can’t help the words that leave her lips. “You’re going to make a beautiful bride.”
She can feel the heat rise to her cheeks at the random complement. Then his voice fills the room and she can feel her fake fiancé’s/real life husband’s eyes on her.
“I agree.” And he does because she was definitely the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen as she walked towards him on that fateful March evening exactly 3 years ago today. His heart feels likes about to beat out of his chest when she turns to look up at him with that shy smile on her face. The exact same smile she had when they spent their first few moments alone as husband and wife right before their reception.
“You’re a lucky man.”
“Believe me, I know” His eyes sparkle as they stay connected with his love’s before turning back to the woman on the other side of the counter.
“So how long have you two been together?”
Kensi tries to gather her thoughts but her partner’s making it very hard for her to do so as his hand gently runs up and down her back in a soothing motion. “Well-“
“Unofficially, 9 years, 1 week and 5 days. Officially, 7 years, 3 months and 2 days.”
“Wow, that’s some memory you got there.”
“Can’t forget anything where she’s concerned.”
The agent can feel the heat rise to her cheeks, leaning into his side, playing her part as the blushing bride both for their cover and reality. She knows he loves her with everything he is but sometimes he can absolutely stun her in the most amazing ways.
A challenging look crosses the bakery owner’s face. “Okay then do you remember what she was wearing the first time you two met?”
“Black tank top, jeans, bag that goes across the shoulder, hair down…wavy.”
“Oh, he’s a keeper.” She looks at Kensi flashing her a smile with a hint of nostalgia set in her feature.
“Don’t I know it.”
“How about you, young lady?”
Her brow furrows in confusion at the sudden question directed at her. “What about me?”
“Do you remember what he was wearing?”
She lets out a nervous laugh looking between the two. “You don’t-there’s no way I can possibly remember that.” Turning from the older woman, Kensi turns to her partner. She can see he doesn’t buy it as he tries to bite back a smile. “White tee shirt, red shorts…black socks.”
“Y’all are too cute.”
“Mostly him.” She grins, meeting his eyes as she uses his line from a few years ago.
All of the sudden there’s a resounding crash coming from the back room.
“Oh, dear. I better go check that out.”
Once her back is turned the pair pull out their weapons. “Not so fast, Judith.”
The pair take their cover positions as the raid in the back takes place. Judith now sitting at a booth under their watchful gaze.
As they wait, Deeks looks from his wife to the owner. “Can I ask you a question?”
“I suppose. If I can ask you one in return.”
“Okay. Do you cook cheesecake or is it the same process as pudding?”
“You bake it, son.”
“See, I told you.” The blonde all but jumps in celebration as he flashes a grin at his partner.
“Now my turn.”
“Shoot.”
“Are you two really together?” She sees the looks they send one another and how they acted. She’s in trouble that’s for certain but it’s surprisingly the last thing that’s on her mind right now.
“We’ll according to my husband we have been for a lot longer than I thought.”
“Oh, please, Fern. You’ve been keeping count since the first time I flashed my winning smile at you.”
“More like trying to figure out how you talk so much without your lips falling off.”
“Ohhhh. Touché.”
“Touché.”
“Why? Why do you do this to me?”
“Because I love you and I know how much you hate it.”
A he can do is smile, shaking his head in amazement and imagining their banter as they sit on their front porch 40 years from now. This is forever.

"The desire to become a superhuman cannot be separated from supremacist ideals. Anyone with that serum is inherently on that path."
Zemo was right about this.
They've been experimenting on people with that serum for decades.
First, the Red Skull injected the serum to himself and it resulted with the face of his skin burning off since the serum wasn't perfected yet. He didn't even mind it, and despite going against the orders of Hitler, he continued his work with the Tesseract until Steve took it with him when he buried his jet into water.
The second experiment was Steve. It was a shocking choice since the US wanted someone big and strong for the experiment, and not a sick, skinny guy like Steve. But as we all know, Erskine especially wanted Steve because he was a good man, not a perfect soldier. Since the serum enhances what is already within, Steve was able to come out of the experiment with no side effects. And he was the only one who didn't get corrupt.
The third one was Bucky. Now his case was a bit different than the others. He got injected without his permission. They had already started to use him as a test subject when he was captured by HYDRA before Steve rescued him from the facility in 1943. Later, when he fell from the train he was able to survive thanks to the serum. But there were side effects since his memories had been wiped out, and the serum increased his aggression as well. (for example, his brutality in fighting) Also, even with the serum, HYDRA couldn't save his arm.
The fourth was Isaiah Bradley. He got the serum, just like the rest of them, and was sent to Korea to take down the Winter Soldier. He failed his mission but was able to almost rip his whole arm off. Then, they imprisoned him for 30 years because he was a super soldier. He was experimented on both by the US Government and HYDRA at the same time. We don't know much about his side effects but I don't think he survived all of that with no damage. Later, the CIA got his blood samples and Nagel used them to make more serum with it.
Fifth experiment: In 1991 HYDRA assassinated Howard Stark in order to create more super soldiers and start the Winter Soldier Program (which I always wondered, where the hell did Howard get these from? CIA? Did I miss that part? Someone enlighten me, please.) Now, these subjects were stronger than Bucky because HYDRA didn't use Vita Radiation (Howard Stark used this to stimulate growth and also "stabilize" according to Peggy Carter) But these new serum made the soldiers even more aggressive and they weren't easy to control. So when one of them attacked a HYDRA agent, the others followed him but they were brainwashed and frozen in the end, just like Bucky. After Zemo found out about Siberia, he killed them all in their sleep.
Sixth experiment: There was a new experiment in 2001 under Ross's command. They basically added Gamma Radiation along with the serum (hey Bruce Banner!). After that failed attempt, they injected Emil Blonsky a variant serum with Banner's blood in it. Long story short, the side effects were huge and not pretty. He turned into the Abomination.
Seventh, you'd think they would learn their lesson but no. HYDRA created a new serum in 2013. This time it was mixed with Extremist, Gamma Radiation, and the Chitauri technology. As if they worked perfectly before. They called it the Centipede Project. (Agents of Shield fans would know more about it.)
Eighth was the Flag Smashers. They injected the serum themselves. There are 8 injected Flag Smashers in total. Karli in this case doesn't care about who she kills as long as it serves her ideology. She's blinded by her ambition and she's not afraid to get her hands bloody because she knows she is doing the right thing. Her followers believe that she's leading them to freedom. To a world that has no boundaries, a free world where there are no countries to separate people from each other. No governments. No patriotism. One world. One people.
The Ninth, we've seen it coming. John Walker managed to take one of the serums before Baron Zemo crushed them all, and he used it to inject himself. We'll see the rest of the side effects in the upcoming episodes but I think we all know he's definitely not the next Steve Rogers.
Now, why did I list all of these? Back in 2016, I could never imagine myself agreeing with Baron Zemo but he is right folks. There hasn't been another Steve Rogers. He was the only successful experiment. The others were either corrupted by the nature of the serum, or they were blinded by the power that comes with it. Or they were just not the right choice.
Walker is a great example of this. He was given the title of Captain America because he was a brilliant soldier. Not because he had a good heart. He was the exact kind of guy that the government would want to have on their side. He was the captain of the football team in high school, then became the first person in American history to receive Three Medals of Honor and he had an incredible military career. This guy was a born leader.
And yet, since the beginning of the show, he's been struggling to fit the perfect image that the people want. The perfect Captain America the US Government wants him to be. He knows he can't be the next Steve Rogers and that has been eating him up ever since. He didn't have the serum which made him vulnerable since he was basically a normal soldier. He wanted to have Bucky and Sam on his side as his wingmen. His enemies weren't scared of him. His ego was crushed from the beginning. He wanted to be in control. He didn't just want to be respected, he wanted to be afraid. He was desperate for more power and it blinded him. He is one of the supremacists Zemo was talking about.
Lemar was the last straw. And he finally gave in. He took all of his anger from Nico. He didn't care that he was killing him, it probably wasn't the first time he got his hands bloody as he mentioned about the ways that they used back in his day of service, earlier in the episode.
When he was standing in that square holding the shield which was covered in blood, it made me think of all the other experiments that the United States is responsible for. Honestly, they started this nightmare, and just because they got lucky with Steve Rogers (thanks to Dr. Erskine) they kept pushing to get another perfect super soldier.
And I can't wait to see how they'll clean all this shit since the people all around the world are going to see how imperfect their new Captain America really is.

pairing: Shuri x reader
warnings: none that I could think of
word count: ~2,200 words
a/n: requested by @junajackson. sorry that it took me so long to write this! between uni and having to evacuate my appartment for a while, I really didn’t have a lot of freetime to write. I hope you like it :)
summary: shuri comes to visit the avengers compound, and your teammates dicover that you’ve been secretly dating the Wakandan princess for a while now.
Tumblr media
The sun was already starting to rise by the time you returned to the compound, bathing the sky in a light pink hue. It was a pretty sight for your sore eyes. You felt drained, the way you often did after a mission. You had been gone for almost a week without being able to contact anyone, getting very little sleep as you had to fight your way out of one mess after the other. Ultimately, the mission was a success but exhausted as you were, you didn’t have it in you to celebrate.
You were welcomed back by an agent who briefly reminded you when your mission report would be due. You muttered out a confirmation and made a beeline for your room, stripping yourself from your dirty clothes and jumping under the shower. Cleaning up made you feel a lot better, and the warm water did wonders for your aching muscles. Dressed in something comfortable, you walked to your bedroom, ready to call it a day and catch some sleep. You had barely covered yourself with a blanket when a disembodied voice interrupted the tranquility of your room.
“Mr. Stark has requested your presence in the common room.”
Burying your head in your pillow, you let out a groan.
“Do I have to?”
Even to your own ears, your voice sounded whiney. The AI refrained from commenting on that, though.
“Mr. Stark is giving you five minutes to get to the common room and advises you to make yourself look presentable.”
Grumbling out some incoherent swear words, you stumbled out of bed and slowly got changed and pulled on some shoes. After assuring your hair looked alright, you made the small track to the common room. Tony looked up when you entered but, seeing your glare, refrained from making whatever stupid comment he had on the tip of his tongue.
Silently he passed you a cup of coffee which you received with a grateful nod. Taking a sip of the dark fluid, you let its warmth and the caffeine wash over you.
“How was your mission?” Tony asked tentatively, almost as if scared you would snap at him.
“Long and exhausting. I had to ditch my phone and comms the first day and barely had time to sleep or eat,” you took another long sip of your drink before throwing him a side glance, “I really hope for the sake of you that this is important.”
Tony was quick to assure you that it was, perhaps fearing that you would lose your cool otherwise. And yes, you were tired, but you were not irrational. The worst you would do is hit him in the arm and cuss him out, maybe prank him, later on, to get even.
“Important visitors are arriving from Wakanda today. We’re doing a bit of collaborative work on a new suit, improve some of my technology, etcetera. I need someone to show them around while I’m at a meeting with Fury. Think you’re up for that?”
You visibly perked up once you heard about Wakanda. You were more than familiar with their technology. After all, you were dating the head of their science and information department, although Tony didn’t know that. No one on the team did. After all, it hadn’t been until very recently that Wakanda decided to open up to the world and share its knowledge and technology. So, naturally, secrecy had to be part of the deal at the beginning of your relationship. And since then, you had just never found the time or the opportunity to broach the subject.
“I think I'll manage.”
Tony patted your shoulder with a grateful nod.
“Good. I know you’re tired, but I'll owe you one after this,” he said, distractedly checking his watch as he spoke, “I gotta run. Can’t keep Fury waiting any longer. Tell the Wakandans I'll be back by lunchtime. Keep them entertained until then, alright?”
At your affirmation, Tony thanked you and left you alone in the common room. You made yourself a second cup of coffee, already feeling better than before. That might also have something to do with the excitement of knowing your girlfriend might be coming to visit. After all, she was the head of the technology and information exchange program, so it would only make sense for her to be the one arriving today.
When FRIDAY alerted you that the Wakandan jet was preparing to land, you were out of your seat and down at the landing lane in no time. Some agents threw you weird looks, but you couldn’t care less. The plane had just shut off its engine when you arrived, waiting a couple of feet away to leave enough space for the small boarding ramp.
First to step off the jet, were two Dora Milaje carrying their standard sonic spear and serious expressions. The two warriors remained at either side of the door, eyeing the terrain with watchful eyes. Your own were fixed on the door while practically bouncing on the back of your feet in anticipation. As soon as you recognized the silhouette of your girlfriend in the doorway, you couldn’t help the big goofy smile that came to your face.
Her eyes trailed over the small airport before finally landing on you. Face lighting up, she matched your grin with one of her own. It had been so long since you had last seen Shuri in person, your heart stammered a bit just at the sight of her. The Wakandan princess quickly descended the ramp, immediately engulfing you in a hug that you returned just as fiercely.
“I was not sure you would be here when I arrived,” she admitted, releasing you just enough so that she could really look at your face, “I haven’t heard from you since you left for your mission a week ago.”
She gave you a playfully reproachful look, causing you to grimaced sheepishly.
“I just came back an hour ago. I would have called, but sadly my phone was one of the few casualties of my mission. Anyways,” stepping back a little, you cleared your throat and jokingly bowed slightly before your girlfriend, continuing in a mockingly formal tone.
“Princess Shuri, I have the honor to officially welcome you and the Dora Milaje to the Avengers Compound. Sadly, Mr. Stark will not be available for the next hours. Until then, I can offer you a tour of the parameters, if you like?”
You held out your hand in silent offer.
She bowed her head in thanks, lightly putting her hand on yours.
“Why thank you, we would appreciate that very much.”
Unable to keep up the show any longer, you both started to giggle before you motioned for her to come along.cHolding hands, you walked her through the most important parts of the compound, ending the tour in the main lab that Tony liked to use. Shuri looked around with an appraising gaze, silently evaluating the different pieces of equipment and machinery as you leaned against the table in the center of the room.
“Not as good as what I have at home, but it will do,” was her verdict, and you laughed slightly.
“Don’t tell Tony that, or he might be tempted to renovate again. He likes to pride himself on having the best of everything.”
“Oh, but he has already admitted that I have the better tech, has he not? Or I wouldn’t be here.”
“True,” you conceded, “So what do you guys have planned? You’re not going to make him a vibranium suit, are you?”
She shook her head, joining you on your side of the table, “We were more thinking along the line of nanotechnology. Something like my brother's Black Panther suit. Easy to carry around, quick to put on. Much more practical.”
You rubbed the back of your neck, trying to sound nonchalant as you asked your next question.
“So, how long do you suppose this would take?”
She hummed, taking a couple of steps closer to you.
“Two, three days at most,” she said, wrapping her arms around your waist and pulling your closer, “But for you, I might stretch it out a little. Give us more time together.”
You smiled adoringly at her, leaning in to press a long kiss to her lips. She returned it eagerly, letting out a content sigh. You really had missed her, more than you could ever put into words. And obviously, that sentiment was shared. After a few moments, you pulled apart to catch your breath, resting your foreheads together, breath mingling in the space between you. You stayed like that for a while, just content to hold each other and be close again.
“Almost forgot, I have something for you,” she whispered after a minute, releasing you to reach into her pocket.
“Oh, uh, I didn’t get you any gifts,” you muttered out, a bit embarrassed. She dismissed your worry with a shake of her head. Taking your hand in hers, she slid something onto your wrist. Shuri watched you with anticipation as you slowly realized what it was.
“You made me a Kimoyo bracelet?”
Your eyes were probably wide as saucers, a finger tentatively trailing over the engravings on the vibranium beads. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw her nod.
“It’s easier for me to contact you with this than on one of your old school grandpa phones, and I thought it might be useful to you on your missions. It’s no big deal, really.”
She shrugged at the end, trying to play this gesture off. You looked up at her in wonder, quite aware that despite her words, this was, in fact, quite a big deal. For one, vibranium was really expensive. For another, Wakandans weren’t known for just handing out Kimoyo beads to anyone. This not only demonstrated how much she trusted you but also that she believed that the two of you were in this for the long run. Your adoration must have shown on your face because Shuri immediately groaned.
“Oh no, I know that look. Don’t you start getting sentimental on me,” she warned you without any malice. You smiled at her softly, unable to do anything about your expression.
“I won’t, I promise.”
She rolled her eyes playfully, overdramatically throwing her hands up in the air.
“You’re already doing it. Alright, I’m outta here.”
The Wakandan princess turned to go, but you gently took her hand and pulled her back into an embrace.
“I love you, Shuri,” you told her, your voice conveying all the emotions you felt. Her expression softened at your admission, and she leaned in to give you a small kiss.
“I love you, too, you big sap.”
“What's going on here?”
Both of you blinked in confusion, slowly turning to look at the door without letting go of each other. In the entrance of the lab, staring at you with faces ranging from shock to confusion and surprise, stood Tony, Steve, and Natasha.
You cleared your throat, feeling your face heat up, and slowly let go of Shuri, still keeping one of her hands in yours.
“Hey, what are you guys doing here?”
Steve was the one that spoke up, vaguely gesturing towards your girlfriend.
“We came to formally welcome the Princess.”
“Looks like Y/n has done enough welcoming for us all,” Natasha muttered, only snickering when Steve sent her a reproachful look for her comment. Tony was still regarding you flabbergasted.
“You,” Tony took off his ever-present sunglasses motioning between you and Shuri, “And her? Since when?”
“Shuri and I have been dating for almost a year now.”
“A year?” Tony repeated incredulously
“Back when Wakanda ‘s borders were still closed to the world,” Shuri sonfirmed, “With all the secrecy surrounding our technology, Y/n and I thought it would be best to keep our relationship secret too.”
“And after that, I just didn’t know how to tell you guys,”  you added sincerely.
Tony looked as though he was about to ask more questions, but luckily Cap intervened, flashing you a smile.
“Well, I’m happy for you two. You look like you're happy together.”
Shuri squeezed your hand encouragingly, knowing how nervous you had been, not knowing how the team would react. Having the Captain’s blessing, even if you didn’t really need it, was appreciated.
“Thanks, Steve.”
“At least this explains why you’ve been having so many late-night phone calls. Good for you,” Natasha teased you, her words having the desired effect of making you groan in embarrassment.
“I guess I’m happy for you, too,” Tony admitted reluctantly after being prompted byone of Steve's stern looks, “But I'll be much happier after your girlfriend helps me with my suit. So shoo, out of the lab. Play time's over, let's get working.”
The billionaire made a motion for you all to leave, Natasha and Steve complying readily, saying their goodbyes to Shuri. Rolling your eyes, you followed his demand as well, but not without leaning in to kiss Shuri’s cheek.
“I'm beat anyways. I haven’t slept in a minute.”
She released your hand with one last small squeeze.
“Get some rest. I'll see you later.”
You were barely out of the lab when, much to Tony’s dismay, you heard Shuri brag about her own lab's much better equipment. You still had a fond smile on your face by the time you finally laid down in your bed.

Natalie
Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x Stark!reader (platonic), Tony Stark x daughter!reader
Summary:
You met Natasha for the first time while she was undercover as Natalie. You’re not overly fond of how your first meeting went.
Word count: 1,390
Warnings: none (that means fluff)

Tumblr media
“How was the field trip, Miss Stark?”
"Good actually, just feeling a bit under the weather,” you sniffle while the front door slides close behind you. “It was probably the heavy air conditioning on the bus.”
You drop your duffel bag beside the couch while Jarvis reassures you that somebody will get you a hot meal to make you feel better. You had gotten back in the early hours of the morning so Pepper and even Tony would still be asleep, and you're already sure Happy is going to be upset when he finds out you took the bus home instead of calling him.
You go to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water and sit down by the kitchen island. It’s almost six, anyone would wake up soon. So you just sit there trying to deal with your headache.
Natasha is always up early ever since she got the position as an assistant for Stark’s company. As much as possible she keeps the snooping around to a minimal, or makes sure to finish the tasks Pepper gave her first before looking out for Tony to see what he was up to.
She had seen a framed photo of you and Tony in the living room. She immediately wondered who you were, seeing as the public doesn’t fully know Tony Stark had a child, and if Fury knew about you. She casually brought it up when both her and Pepper were working though: “Tony’s daughter. Y/N doesn’t like to be in the spotlight that much.”
When Jarvis notifies her that “Miss Stark has arrived and could use some soup.”, she puts her paperwork aside and strides out of the room. Natasha doesn’t trust this whole daughter thing. Tony Stark is a busy - and a reckless man, he doesn’t have time for one, at least, that’s what she thinks. Maybe she’s a child prodigy he hired or something, or possibly an agent.
You raise your head a bit when you hear the clopping of heals, feeling very much relieved that Pepper’s awake - except it isn’t Pepper.
Her movements are swift as she enters the room. She clutches her clipboard at her side as she got a good look at you. Huh. I thought she’d be much younger.
“Uh, hello,” you say awkwardly, eyes flicking from her, to your side, and at the door. Oh god, dad’s having one night stands again. You thought for sure he'll end up with Pepper. This woman looks like a reporter, except she managed to dress herself unlike-
“Do you have a soup preference?”
“What?” You blink. You don’t like it when your father sleeps with women who wander around the house in the morning. When they see you they want to take photos, sometimes an interview when you were still in your pajamas. But this one is asking you what kind of soup you like. Maybe she’s hungover? “The... uh, the exit’s down the hall on the left, I can ring a driver if you need a ride, if you want,”
You really wish Tony or Pepper would walk in now.
“What gave you the impression that I want to leave?”
Something about the way she said that made an alarm go off inside you. You want nothing more than to run. “Okay, I’m-” you get up, taking your water bottle with you. You try to avoid her gaze because it follows you until you're at the door. “I’m just gonna... just gonna go.” And you sprint away.
You head to Tony’s lab and enter your code when you see him working on an old red car. “Dad,” you breathe out and his eyes light up when he sees you.
“Hey bud, when did you get home?” His breath reeks of alcohol and it isn’t surprising that he's getting no sleep again.
“The reporter you mingled with is still here and she doesn’t want to leave.”
“Reporter?”
“Yes, reporter, or I don’t know... whatever her occupation is,” you raise your voice a bit. “You know I can’t do anything about when you - when you take someone home-”
Tony stops his fidgeting. “That’s none of your business.”
“Okay fine, sorry, but-”
“Look, I’m sure you’ve had a rough trip back,” he gets up and wipes his hands. “But there’s not a single reporter, or whatever you’re talking about, here. Let’s go, I’m sure Natalie has breakfast ready.”
Natalie?
You open your mouth to object but Tony already has an arm around you and leads you out of his workplace. You’re only gone for a few weeks, curse them for not bothering to shoot you a text or something, just so that you're informed with everything that’s been going on-
“Mr. Stark?” That same, gentle but almost kind of robotic voice speaks. Well, that’s how you’d describe the red-headed stranger. You scoot closer to Tony when she came to view. “Miss Potts has specifically ordered me to tell you not to disturb her today. She’s very busy. Can I get both of you anything?”
You feel your lips part slowly, gaping at the two adults.
“I’m gonna go shower, you can assist Y/N here to whatever she needs,” Tony replies absentmindedly and walks away.
The man forgot you had no idea who the woman is and what she's doing here. “Who... who are you?” You turn to face her after you watchs your dad walk away and is now out of view.
“Natalie Rushman,” she replies matter-of-factly.
“But who - wait, why... what?”
Natasha could tell you really are Tony’s daughter and now found your confusion amusing. She decides to fill you in on everything that happened while you were away.
“Pepper’s CEO?! Hang on, I have to go see her-” But she gently places a hand on your shoulder.
“She doesn’t want to be disturbed today.”
“...right.”
After that interaction the both of you became close. You warmed up to her, and despite Natasha still being undercover she became softer around you, thinking you wouldn’t be able to put the pieces together and figure out what she was really doing here.
You’d ask her for advice, help for homework sometimes, talk about random shit, it was great.
Every time you both had the chance to talk you’d ask her random questions, they’d always leave you speculating.
“Dad said you modeled in Tokyo,” you point out one day while she’s filing paperwork and you had nothing better to do. “Why didn’t you pursue it? You know, modeling?”
She could’ve pursued being a boxer or something too, Happy also told you about the time she flipped him over in the boxing ring. You couldn’t imagine why she’d choose being an assistant over the other cool ones.
Natasha just glances at you for a moment and shrugs, returning to the task at hand. “It wasn’t my thing.”
But what made you upset? The day she left. You just built this bond with her, a friendship, and you didn’t see any reason why she had to leave. No one had any complaints with her, so why?
You ask Tony after him and Rhodey were honored in Washington. “Did you fire Ms. Rushman?”
“Sorry?” Tony removes his sunglasses hastily.
“I was just wondering why Natalie doesn’t work for you anymore.”
“Natasha.” He corrects.
Your eyebrows furrow as you look at him, “wh-”
“I didn’t fire her, kid,” he sighs. “But something tells me we’re gonna see her again soon.”
And you did, two years later.
-----
bonus:
“C’mon, Nat, stop,” you drag out after you leapt onto her and tried to cover her mouth. “It’s not funny!”
“And then - and then Y/N gave me this look when I walked in - oh god, she looked so creeped out, then-”
The room fills with laughter from the other avengers but the loudest ones were coming from Sam and Clint. She told them the story a few times and it still never gets old.
“I still can’t believe you thought she was one of Tony’s flings,” Sam wipes a tear from his eye. “God, that’s gold!”
When she finishes, Natasha pulls you closer and tilts her head when she sees the pout on your face. “Aww, are you mad at me?”
“No.”
“I know you are,” oh no. She put on the voice she uses whenever she’s about to do something you didn’t like. Without warning, her hands go to your sides, tickling you mercilessly.
“NAT!”

You all settle into one row. Aaron’s on the end beside you, looking very sharp in a crisp black suit, his favorite Rolex, and a settled kind of confidence you’ve only seen in him a few times. It’s like he’s in his natural habitat.
Aaron’s record as a federal prosecutor speaks for itself, of course, but you’ve never seen him in action. As often as they can, the bureau’s leadership sends him in as an expert witness. This time, the case happens to be one of yours. The judge hasn’t required a sequestration for Aaron, so you get the treat of sitting together in the courtroom.
He’s scoffed and mumbled snide remarks under his breath all morning. You’re just itching to see him get up on the stand and give this joker an education.
Emily leans over, whispering in your ear. “I promise you’ve never seen anything like this before. Hotch is going to rip this clown to shreds.”
You stifle a laugh and look over at Aaron. He heard her. Leaning toward you, he murmurs, “All my JD does is collect dust. When I use it, I’d like to enjoy it.”
“Your Honor, the prosecution would like to call our expert witness, Supervisory Special Agent Aaron Hotchner, to the stand.”
He takes a breath and rises, buttoning his suit jacket and crossing the courtroom. His presence commands respect and everyone in the courtroom seems to shrink before him.
The prosecution’s questions go over smoothly, and the defense attorney stands with an unreasonable amount of confidence.
Emily leans over. “He thinks he can get Hotch with at least one of these questions, and he might. But just watch.”
You nod, taking everything in.
“So you’ve stated that it was your profile of the killer that led you and the police to my clients door that night.”
“Behavioral analysis was a factor in our investigation, yes.”
Without hesitation, the attorney follows up. “And was behavioral analysis also a factor in the Olympic Park bombings case in Atlanta?”
“Yes, it was.” Aaron’s eyes and tone never waver, no hint of arrogance or cheek.
“And was that suspect you identified,” the attorney asks, far too aggressively, “Richard Jewell, ever convicted of the bombings?”
The prosecution objects, and you watch Aaron. Every part of him observes the proceedings with an outwardly detached interest, but his eyes are alive - strategizing and anticipating. It’s like you can see the wheels turning as the lawyers bicker.
The judge ends the squabble. “I’ll allow it.”
Aaron, now with permission, answers simply, “No, he was not convicted.”
“Because he was innocent. Your profile led you to the wrong man.”
Oh, give me a break. It takes everything in you not to scoff and you can feel Emily’s eye roll.
“Jewell was not the perpetrator, but if you look at the real Olympic Park Bomber, Eric Rudolph, you’ll see that our profile was dead-on.”
Dead-on indeed, Aaron.
“Well, how about we look at the Baton Rouge Killer? Your unit said that he was white and living in the city. He was Black and from the suburbs.”
Aaron’s eyes narrow and you feel Spencer shift beside you. Emily shakes her head. “Don’t worry,” she whispers. “He always recovers, never in the way you’d expect.”
“How do you know?”
Emily’s face pulls into a little smile. “I’ve read the transcripts. Hotch is terribly clever.”
“You said that Dennis Rader, the B.T.K. Killer,” the attorney continues, “was divorced and impotent. He turned out to be married with two kids.”
JJ huffs, and you hear her whisper to Spencer, “Can we quit with the sermon?”
His lips turn up. “Just wait.”
Dave leans over and stares them down over Derek. Stop talking.
All of you look down at your hands like chastised children, but your gaze floats back to Aaron right away.
The prosecution objects again, this time on the grounds of preaching. The judge forces a question, and the attorney turns back on Aaron.
“Having been wrong on those cases, isn’t it possible that you were wrong about Brian Matloff?”
“No.” Your chest squeezes. He’s completely firm in his denial.
How does he do that?
“Fact is,” the attorney continues like Aaron didn’t speak at all, “behavioral analysis is really just intellectual guesswork. You probably couldn’t tell me the color of my socks with any greater accuracy than a carnival psychic.”
“Objection!”
Her outburst is unnecessary. Aaron has a plan. His eyes track to you as if to check in. Are you paying attention?
If you weren’t watching before, you’re certainly watching now. Always.
“Withdrawn.”
“Charcoal grey.” His flat assertion makes you gasp and you immediately cover your mouth with your hand to stifle the sound.
The attorney turns around. “Well, look at that,” he exposes his socks to the court, and they are, in fact, charcoal grey. “He got one right.”
Aaron’s not finished. “You match them to the color of your suit to appear taller. You also wear lifts and you’ve had the soles of your shoes replaced. One might think you’re frugal, but in fact, you’re having financial difficulties.”
You do your best to school your expression and remove your hand from your mouth. Checking down the row, you see six smirks watching the witness box.
“You wear a fake Rolex…”
And you’d know.
“...because you pawned the real one to pay your debts. My guess would be to a bookie.”
Is he smiling?
“I took this case pro bono.” There’s tension in Mr. Charcoal Grey’s voice. You can hear it behind the false confidence and it pulls a smile from you. “I am one of the most successful criminal attorneys in the state.”
Hotch continues, completely bypassing him. “Your vice is horses.” There’s definitely a little smile on his face now. “Your Blackberry’s been buzzing on the table every twenty minutes, which happens to be the average time between posts from Colonial Downs. You’re getting race results.” Your smile gets wider, and Emily grabs your hand.
“Just watch.”
“And every time you do, it affects your mood in court, and you’re not having a very good day.” There’s something that looks almost like concern on Aaron’s face, but you know it’s nothing if not facetious. He’s ripping this poor man to shreds without changing a single thing about his presentation.
I love -
Don’t finish that thought.
Why not?
Remember how he’s freshly divorced?
I know, but have you seen him?
“That’s because you pick horses the same way you practice law -”
You lean forward and Emily follows, her thumbnail between her teeth.
The final blow.
“- by always taking the long shot.”
If this was any other setting, you’re sure the entire team would be on their feet, shouting and jeering. But alas, you’re in court, so you settle for a wide smile and a suppressed laugh. Amused brown eyes meet yours from across the room and you shake your head just the tiniest bit. I can’t believe you.
His lips twitch.
“Well, you spin a very good yarn, Agent, but as usual, you’ve proven nothing.” He’s just trying to recover something, anything left of his dignity. He fails, miserably.
“If I’m not mistaken,” Aaron says, his eyebrows raised just a little, “the results from the fifth race should be coming through any minute.”
Just then, his Blackberry buzzes on the defense table. “Why don’t you tell us if your luck has changed?”
You raise your hands to your face to cool the rising heat in your cheeks.
“Your honor, this is - “
The judge takes matters into his own hands. “What do you want me to do? Either show us your Blackberry or cut him loose, counselor.”
Hotch and the defense attorney share a loaded look. It’s a battle of wills.
Aaron wins.
“Nothing further.”
+++
When you all leave the courthouse, you practically latch onto Aaron’s arm, completely floored.
“How did you do that?”
He laughs and Derek jumps up beside him, shaking his shoulders. “Come on, Hotch. That was incredible.”
“Why have a law degree if you aren’t going to use it?”
+++
He offers you a ride home later that evening and you take him up on it. You’re both still in the car, idling in front of your house.
“That really was impressive today,” you admit, your eyes on your hands.
You can feel his soft smile rather than see it. “Thanks. I know it didn’t quite go the way we wanted as far as the case itself, but there’s more to come.”
“It’s never as bad as it looks in the first couple of days.”
“Exactly.” He sighs. “Thanks again for being there today. It’s…” his lips twist as he thinks, “nice to have the team around.”
You reach out, squeezing his forearm before immediately letting him go. “Of course. We’ll always be there for you. Plus, there’s nothing better than watching you tear blowhard lawyers to shreds in a court of law.”
“I’m not sure that’s exactly how it went.”
“You’re kidding!” You laugh. “That’s just what happened. The man left without half his soul! You absolutely tore it from his body.”
The pair of you quiet, and you move to get out of the car. He stops you with a hand over yours as you unclip your seatbelt. “Really. Thanks for being there today.”
“I can’t emphasize this enough - it was my pleasure.”
Enough of a pleasure as it was, his smile in the dark of the car is the best part of your day.

Could I pretty pretty please get some more on the time travel crack au? Maybe when it gets out that Steve, Bruce, andThor are technically from the future?
As much as I’d love to jump to that part, I think it’s funnier necessary to cover a few other tidbits first. For example:
Tony misses whatever discussion follows Thor’s -- hah, got it right in one, he hasn’t lost his touch completely yet -- arrival before the god carries his brother off towards a containment cell with the sort of cheer that causes Tony to carefully keep at least two people between himself and Thor, lest the asshole tries to hug him again.
Not that it can be that big a loss considering they all -- sans Loki -- end up back in the command center of the helicarrier, where Fury glares balefully at the most recent invader of his precious aircraft that clearly isn’t meant to stand in the way of gods.
A glare Thor aggressively doesn’t notice. Likely because he’s too busy partaking in the on-going discussion on what to do next.
And by ‘what to do next’ Tony doesn’t mean the expected we-were-invaded-by-a-mindcontrolled-alien-nutbag-and-there’s-probably-more-out-there-seems-like-the-kind-of-oh-shit-situation-we-should-plan-for. No. That would be reasonable and expected and Tony’s spent all of three hours in the company of the esteemed Captain America and already he can tell you that Rogers is none of that.
[Which, not cool, Capsicle. Dazzling and befuddling people with crazily brilliant ideas is his job.]
[continues under the cut]
So far, Tony’s been paying attention for ten minutes. In that time, Rogers and Thor have gotten into an argument over how to handle Loki -- which holy shit, that went from a calm, rational discussion to a battle to the death between two superhumans on a sugar high in zero point four seconds -- that Tony is so not gonna touch. [Nope. Let some other fool [i.e. Rogers] throw himself head-first into norse god family drama, Tony’s own feelings concerning his family are complicated enough.] That conversation devolved into a not-openly-fighting-while-totally-fighting stand-off between Rogers and Banner over a way too bitter comment from the latter [something about ‘you’d know all about choosing one brother over the other, wouldn’t you’ which what?], which in turn gets derailed by Banner needling Thor about the merits of beheading over stabbing.
Romanoff had the good sense to disappear -- probably to interrogate Loki while his apparently protective big brother is distracted, now that Tony thinks about it.
Unfortunately that still leaves Tony stuck here, having to play the role of the mature adult because no one else fucking will. Tony hates being responsible. It’s like being back in high school and being left to do all the work on your own in group project.
[Tony failed that project. Got a straight up zero on purpose because spite is a wonderful motivator. Which, now that Tony thinks about it, doesn’t say anything promising about the current situation.]
Tony leans even further back in his seat, only balancing on the backlegs of the chair, to give Fury a very sharp, very judgemental look.
These are the people you’re betting Earth’s survival on, that look says.
Fury’s already pissed off expression darkens further, which brightens Tony mood substantially. That one of the suit’s sensors flashes green twice in quick succession less than a minute later really just makes for a delicious cherry on the top. Or more precisely a good excuse to ditch this trainwreck of a match-making attempt.
“Whoops,” Tony says, clearly audible but not too loud to draw real attention from the three [still arguing-while-pretending-not-to] stooges on the other end of the room. “Looks like I gotta take this call.”
He jiggles his fingers at Fury. The guy rolls his eyes -- probably jealous that he doesn’t have an excuse himself, that bitch face doesn’t fool Tony -- but no one tries to stop him.
“Alright, J, what do you have for me?”
*
Tony pretends not to notice the shuffling footsteps. Glances at the disturbingly normal clock on the wall that is so not up-to-date with the rest of the technology in the room, it must be an inside joke. Tony would love to meet the SHIELD agent behind it -- it can’t be easy, being the only person with a sense of humor in an entire agency.
30 minutes.
Well. That’s longer than Tony thought he’d get. JARVIS still hasn’t cracked the last layer on SHIELD’s really fucked up dirt -- and given what he’s already found, that says a lot -- but it’s only a matter of time now. Besides, Tony’s got a job to do.
“To- Stark.”
“Rogers.”
Tony doesn’t turn. Neither does he stop typing.
“What are you doing?”
Tony scoffs. He’s not in the mood to pander to inferior minds -- not when they’re so fucking frustrating, don’t make any sense and worst of all make him do all the work.
“He’s tracking the Tesseract, using the scepter as a point of reference,” Banner says after taking one look at the screen over Tony’s shoulder.
Tony raises his eyebrows, impressed despite himself. Banner’s credentials clearly don’t do him justice -- and they were pretty damn good to begin with.
“Huh,” says Rogers.
Thanks for playing. Now buckle down and make yourself useful or fuck off, Tony wants to snipe but doesn’t get the chance to because the gods -- this god at least -- just aren’t on his side.
“Even without my brother’s help, a weapon of the tesseract’s might should not be underestimated,” Thor speaks up. “Should we not make haste and collect it?”
"Great idea.” Tony’s voice is dryer than the sand dune he crash-landed in back during his fun little trip to Afghanistan. “If only I’d thought of that instead of inventing fifteen new algorithms to try and get a read on SHIELD’s precious magic eight ball while you were busy defending your brother’s honor. Speaking of, I’m pretty sure Romanoff is a greater danger to his virtue than Captain Shockfreeze over there, so why are you still here?”
Okay, maybe poking the hornet nest that is godly family isn’t his smartest move [didn’t he just say he wasn’t gonna touch that?!] but damn if Tony isn’t curious. And also too annoyed to care about unimportant, subjective things like good manners and tact.
He sort of regrets his cavalier attitute a little when Thor sobers. At least there are no tears in sight. Tony is the last person on Earth who should be left unsupervised around crying people. It just never ends well.
“Ah.” Thor sighs heavily, stems his body against an unfortunate table that creaks dangerously. "I’m afraid I can’t afford to see my brother right now.”
It’s the way he says those words, the weight they carry more than anything that tells Tony he needs to drop this issue right now. Talk about one huge trigger button.
Must be inconvenient to have siblings. Tony totally can’t relate.
“Well, in that case, unless you have a magic trick with which you can pull the Tesseract’s position out of your sleeve, how about you sit as far away from these delicate instruments as possible and don’t touch anything while I work my magic, hm?”
Tony doesn’t let his gaze linger on the crushed edge of the table. Thor hasn’t even seemed to notice. He’s too busy lighting up at Tony’s snappish response. Which is surprising. Tony’s aware he’s a bit of an asshole right now. In his defence, he’s an asshole most of the time.
Rogers leaps across the room -- almost crashing into the previously mentioned delicate sensors as he does so -- to slap his palm over Thor’s mouth.
Tony stares. [How quickly can you develop a new habit again? Because this starts to feel like a new habit.]
“That sounds like a great plan!” Rogers beams at him, so wide and fake it must be physically painful for the epitome of all that is good and holy. At least Tony hopes it is. The supersoldier his father worshipped is still clinging to their resident god of thunder’s face.
It’s.
Tony resolutely turns his back on both of them because their madness doesn’t seem to come with a refund-ticket and if Tony doesn’t finish this program, no one will.
Not even Banner -- whom Tony had been kind of hoping for. Speaking of, the man’s been awfully quiet for a while now.
“You alright there, Brucie-Bear?” Tony turns around -- a little because it’s polite to face people when you talk with them and mostly to have an excuse not to watch the ongoing doomed wrestle-match between Blonde 1 and Blonde 2. His awesome nicknaming skill doesn’t get so much as a twitch.
To be fair, Banner is so busy staring straight ahead with the most epic rendition of the World’s Most Thoughtful Expression™ Tony has seen in a while that it doesn’t seem like the man heard him. At all.
Until he suddenly speaks up.
“I think we’ve forgotten something.” Behind Tony the impromptu wrestling comes to a sudden halt.
Probably something negligible like how to focus on a mission, the sarcastic voice in the back of Tony’s mind drawls. Though it should be noted that Tony’s consciousness only comes in sarcastic or not at all. Sorry, everyone, all the other flavors are out.
Banner’s frown deepens. “Something- Something important.”
Right on cue an explosion rocks the aircraft.
*
There’s a bit more tension in this part than the previous ones. On Tony’s side it’s because he’s smart enough to pick up on Something Is Seriously Wrong, both consciously and subconsciously and also because he feels the pressure what with everyone else apparently not taking this whole thing very seriously.
[Excluding Natasha who, believe me, takes Clint’s fate very serious indeed.]
On our time travellers’ side, they experience the frustration of being unable to talk openly, surrounded by people they don’t trust, trying to play along to the script of a movie they watched like 12 years ago and never revisited. Needless to say they’re failing horrenduously.

Smut blurb about meeting Spencer on a dating app that Derek set up for him.
Hi! Thank you so much for the request you are my very first one! This was such an honor to do. I am still learning on doing smut so I hope this satisfy you just enough until I become more comfortable in my smut skills. It was a pleasure
I can't believe I allowed my best friend to do this to me.  Setting me up on a blind date of all things.  A relationship was the furthest thing I wanted from my mind.
Having just gotten out of a bad one a couple of months ago.  This was going to be god awful.  I know you are supposed to dress up for these things but I couldn't bring myself to. No fancy clothing. No elegant designs. Just a tight shirt and dark jeans accompanied with boots.
All I knew about my date from my friend was that he was a Doctor/Fbi agent and a professor. A small laugh escaped me as I glanced at myself in the mirror before I left to meet this catfish. Clearly someone was lying.
------------
When I arrived at the restaurant later then originally planned. Stupid subway. Walking inside I spoke to the host. 'Hi, um party of two for Reid. Hopefully he is already here.' The nervousness finally getting to me.
As the host walked me to the booth I could see what I hoped to only be Doctor Spencer Reid. His hair was fuffy and unruly. It looked so utterly soft all I wanted to do was run my hands through it.
What the hell? Y/N control yourself! You can't just randomly start wanting to touch someone you don't know because he looks pretty. I thought to myself. My inner turmoil starting to get the better of me.
Sitting down across from him he finally acknowledged me. A small blush on his face as he scratched the back of his neck.
'Hi, um sorry I don't normally do this sort of thing.'he rushed out in a hurry. 'Someone I am deeply upset with right now set this blind date up for me and I was only told about it today. Apparently I have a tinder account? I have no idea what that really is besides a dating app that pairs people up through and algorit-'
He stopped himself suddenly when I assumed he realized he was continously talking.
A small nervous laugh escaped him.
'I'm sorry I talk a lot when I'm nervous. My name is Dr. Spencer Reid. You can just call me Spencer. '
That was when I saw him finally look me in the eyes this whole time. I felt my heart flutter as I finally got a good look at them. He truly had gold in the middle of his dark eyes. Oh boy I could get lost in them forever.
I'm not sure how long I was staring but by the time the waitress came around. I didn't have any idea what I wanted. All I noticed was how he kept my eye contact and replied to the waitress that we'd both just have a water for now.
'You're staring.' He looked down awkwardly and blushed.  I haven't even spoken a word yet and I'm already ruining this date. Crap.
A random gasps escaped me as I myself started speaking for the first time. I hope I don't run him off with what's about to spew out of my mouth.
'Did you know that the reason babies stare is because they can't understand the concept of beauty yet? So basically when an adult stares to long they are staring because you trigger a chemical in their brain that starts their hormones and oh God I'm gonna stop. '
I covered my mouth quickly to keep myself silent.
I saw his eyes light up in amusement and laughter escape him.
Oh no what had I done.
'Yes I did know that In fact. Are you telling me you find me attractive.' His voice trailed off. Coming to my senses I realized I had never told him my name!.
'Oh god I'm an idiot. I never told you my name.  It's Y/N.'  Another smile escaped him.
'I have to ask are you really all those things your profile said? I personally hadn't actually seen your profile. Like you my friend set this up for me without my knowledge.'
'Yes, I am in fact a Fbi agent. I'm a profiler for the Bau. I study serial killers in order to catch them. Is the simplest way to put it. I am also a professor on my time off teaching students how to track down serial killers or at least the cause of why they exist.'
My eyes widened in surprise as he watched my face.
A smile formed on my features. This was going to be a fun date.
---------
I was right to assume it would be one. What I didn't expect was for us to click once the awkwardness was out of the way. Discussing mine and his love for literature and science was a lot more fun then people might think.
Currently he was in my apartment and all I could think about was how badly I wanted to kiss him. The date had went along pretty well. Him being the gentleman I noticed he was ordered for me in my panic.  I'm a very indecisive person so I was beyond thankful.
I could tell he was just as attracted to me with the way his pupils had expanded during our date. I knew the science I knew I had a chance. I just couldn't bring myself to make a move.
I think he caught me staring at his lips because in that moment he leaned forward glancing down at mine.
'Please, make the first move.'
A smile formed on his lips as he cupped the side of my face and pulled my face to his kissing me softly.
I thought I would melt into him by just the feeling of his lips on mine.  Before he could break the kiss I found myself clawing gently at his neck and deepening the kiss. I pulled myself onto him straddling his lap. Him leaning himself back against the couch as he looked up at me.
'Are you sure? We barley just met.'
'God yes. I am sure.  I am clean. I haven't had sex in months' I started kissing and nibbling up his neck making him moan and clutch at my thighs.
'I would love to show you the science of the relief sex gives to a federal agent that most certainly works to hard for his own good.' My hands running up his chest.
'Then show me.'
Those were the last words I remember him saying  before I ended up on my back sore as I had ever been. I was still a whimpering mess from all the things he showed me.
I glanced over at him. I really didn't show him anything.
This man took me to heaven and back.  I didn't show him shit.  He showed me a whole new world.
Perhaps we should both thank our friends for meddling in our lives.

A love for music unites an unlikely pair. The rhapsody they unknowingly created will give life to the hope they still have in their hearts.
Killian Jones and his older brother Liam had arrived from London with nothing more than the clothes on their back to pursue a music career. The lives of the Jones brothers had been difficult since the beginning. Their mother died at a young age and their father had decided he was not made to be a family man.
The Jones brothers had formed The Outlaws with some fellow expatriates they met along the way. The venues they played weren't the best, but they managed to make a name for themselves enough to have steady gigs.
Emma Nolan had grown up with loving parents but after an unfortunate accident, she was left alone. Afterwards, her grandfather took her in. George Spencer was an ill-tempered man. He wasn't a doting person, which caused Emma to become closed off. She focused on solace in the cello. Thankfully, the man valued pomp and grandeur so, at the thought of his granddaughter attending Juilliard, he eagerly made it possible.
On a rare night out with her best friend Elsa, they decide to go to listen to a little-known rock band called The Outlaws they saw fliers for. It was love at first sight. The lead singer mesmerized the young cellist with his voice. The girls waited for the band to finish their set to introduce themselves to them. Elsa and Emma fit in with the band perfectly. The Jones brothers had quickly gravitated towards the blonde beauties.
Emma and Killian had slowly drifted away from the group. It ended up being the most magical night for the young lovers above New York's Washington Square.
Months later, Emma finds out she is pregnant. Somehow, she already loves her kid so much. Her grandfather makes his displeasure known, however, every moment of her pregnancy.
The day her life changed was gloomy and rainy. After an argument with George, Emma had gone to the store to buy some last-minute things for her baby. The drunk driver came out of nowhere. When she gives birth prematurely, her grandfather takes advantage while she is unconscious and gives the baby girl up for adoption. The moment Emma wakes up, she is told the news that her baby is dead. The news shatters her musical dreams and any hope of happiness.
You're not special. You're just like the rest of us... alone, nothing but an orphan.
The music... Can you hear it? Listen... I can hear it everywhere.
It's in the wind ...
in the light...
It's all around us.
All you have to do is open your heart and listen.
Sometimes the world tries to knock the hope out of you.
They tried to stop me from hearing the music...
I believe in music the way others believe in fairy tales. When I'm alone it builds inside me eager to erupt into a melody. I like to believe that what I hear came from my parents. That the music I hear is the same one they heard the night they met...
Maybe that's how they found each other and that's how they'll know I am theirs and find me...
Hope Swan had grown up in foster care. As a baby, she had been adopted but returned once the couple was blessed with their own flesh and blood. After that, she bounced from foster home to foster home.
In her shared room at the group home, she's currently at, Hope records herself humming a song that keeps playing in her mind, but is rudely interrupted by her roommate who mocks her. "You are not special. You're just like us, an unwanted orphan."
The girl walks away, slamming the door.
Hope's eyes water at the mean girl's words. She knows it in her heart that she is wanted and someday she will find her parents. She continues recording her humming of the song in her heart.
Hope is now eleven years old. She stands in the back of the group as one of the younger girls is adopted by a couple. Maybe she should be bitter and want to be adopted but if she was, she would never find her parents. They're out there and she will find them.
Hope runs away once more from her group home. Living on the streets she makes friends easily, but is still guarded. She knows that someday her parents will come looking for her. All she wants is to go home.
As she wanders the streets, runaway Hope Swan is getting closer to find her home. She knows she will find her family. All she has to do is listen to the music in her heart and follow it.
A kind man, Merlin, is assigned Hope Swan's case. She wasn't a trouble maker, but she was reportedly closed off with the couples. He is notified that she has run away. She has a history of running away. The picture of the young girl saddens him. He wishes he can find her and place her in a good home. She is a pretty girl, with blonde hair, vibrant sea-blue eyes, dimples, and a slightly dimpled chin. He posts her picture on the board.
Emma Nolan had moved away after losing her daughter. Her little girl, her grandfather told her the baby was a tiny girl. The heartbreak led her to become a music teacher to kids. She was always surrounded by children and music. That was the way she chose to honor her child. An unexpected call from her grandfather's doctor makes her break a promise she had made to herself years ago. He is the only family she has left.
Once she arrives at his house, she is summoned to his death bed.
His eyes tear up. "I thought you wouldn't come."
"I don't hate you Grandpa, but my heart hasn't healed. Time will never heal this wound," she sniffled.
He closes his watery eyes. "I think I can help with that."
Emma gets closer to his bed, confused. "How can you say that? My child is gone! You didn't want her, so you threw her away while I slept. You took that away from me. I couldn't hold her!"
"Emma, enough!" he screams, then immediately starts coughing from the effort.
"I'm sorry, I made a mistake. I know now that family is precious, that image doesn't matter. Emma, I have a confession. I hope it's not too late and that you will find it in your heart to forgive me."
Emma stares at him.
"She's alive. Your little girl is alive."
"What? How can you be so cruel and say that to me!" Emma says with disbelief and tears pooled in her eyes.
"Because it's the truth. She is alive. I gave her up for adoption, and I was the one who signed the papers. I was your next of kin since you weren't married."
Emma gapes at the old man as she let her limp body drop to the chair next to his bed. "You gave my daughter away as if she was property because I embarrassed you?"
George Spencer can't keep his eyes on his granddaughter. The once-proud man weakened by age and disease casts his eyes down in shame. "In my safe, you will find the documents."
"What good will that do me?" Emma asks.
"Emma, my attorney can help you find her," he says quietly.
"But-"
"Emma, if your parents were here, they would tell you that you should never lose hope," he says.
Emma stands up. "You're right, I'm going to find my daughter."
George sighs as he falls into a deep sleep, his machines flatlining. The nurse that had given them privacy to talk rushes in as soon as the machine goes off.
Emma finds the papers and with trembling hands, calls Mr. Gold, the attorney.
The man is a ruthless slimy bastard. He tries to convince Emma that her kid is better off where she is. Of course, he would say that seeing he had helped her grandfather do this to her; he was just covering his ass. She doesn't care about that. All she wants is to get her kid. She has a daughter and she is out there. She hopes to God that she is being taken care of.
Killian Jones had moved to California not long after The Outlaws broke up. He had given up his dream of singing, but somehow had managed to gain a thriving career as an agent.
He had also distanced himself from the memory of Emma. After the band broke up, his brother and former bandmates had moved to Boston. Killian thought the further away he could get would be better, though. He tried forgetting her, but he knew he could never forget her. It was only one night, but he would belong to her for the rest of time.
Liam had called him a few days prior to ask if he wanted to join them in a reunion of sorts. They were going to play at the little place where he had met Emma. The joint was going out of business so in an effort to raise money to save it, The Outlaws had agreed to come out of retirement for one night only.
Killian had yet to agree, but 'what if' rattled in his brain. Something inside him tugged at his heart. A man unwilling to fight for what he wants gets what he deserves, Liam had told him over and over. He decides he will do it. He will fly to New York and look for Emma. He prays to every deity he can that she is not married. It's a selfish thought, but he couldn't bear it if she isn't meant for him.
Killian picks up the phone and dials his brother's number. "Liam, I'll be there."
"Brother, you'll do it? What happened to never setting foot in New York?" Liam asks.
"Liam, are you going to question my decision? I thought you would be happy," Killian says through gritted teeth.
"I am, I am. I'm just surprised. Killian, this doesn't have anything to do with her, does it?"
"Brother," Killian sighs, "Even if it was, I don't have a way to contact her." Sure he was lying, but his brother didn't have to know all his reasons.
"We are driving out there," Liam says.
"I'll fly. I will text you the details once I've made arrangements," Killian says.
"Alright, see you then," Liam adds. "Brother, it's going to be good seeing you after so long. I miss you."
Killian sighs. "I miss you too."
The line disconnects. Alright Emma Nolan, what have you been up to? he thinks as he enters her name in the browser's search engine. He had thought of looking for her before, but he had never found any sign of her online. He knows her family has money but somehow she has managed to stay hidden. The only information that would come up was of her grandfather's business deals. His heart tells him that this time, though, things would be different.
Sure enough, he finds one headline: "George Spencer dies at home after a long battle with heart disease."
Killian reads the headline carefully and his heart sparks with hope to see Emma again. The newspaper lists her as the sole survivor of her grandfather's Estate. That means she would have to be at his home. He winces at the thought. He knows that his method to approach her while grieving will be considered to be in bad form, but if it is the only chance he has, he has to make the best of the situation. He takes a deep breath and alters his flight plans so he can arrive a couple of days earlier.
Mr. Gold had changed his tune when Emma didn't fall for his manipulations and offered his services. Emma reluctantly accepted his help. He told her to give him a couple of hours and at that time, he would have information to make her search easier. He quickly found out that her daughter had ended up in foster care. He gave her the name of the caseworker assigned to Hope Swan. That was her baby's name. Emma tries to ignore the fact that her daughter is in the care of the state. She wonders what she looks like? Does she take after her or him? Killian Jones, he had never left her thoughts, but before it was painful to think of him because inevitably her thoughts would end on her daughter. Emma smiles, realizing how fitting the name Hope was for their daughter. Emma thanks Mr. Gold and goes to see Merlin Wilde.
Emma arrives at the CPS office. Her nerves are getting the best of her. She approaches the information desk. "Excuse me, I'm looking for Mr. Wilde?"
The woman looks bored. "Do you have an appointment?"
Emma shakes her head. "No, I'm sorry. I must speak to him, though."
The woman rolls her eyes. "Fill out the sign-in sheet. I will see if he can fit you in today." She gets up and heads to a door behind her desk.
Emma is about to sit down when something catches her eye. Pictures of missing kids. Runaways. She gravitates to the board. Her heart is beating so fast as her eyes land on a name, Hope Swan. Emma smiles as she stares at blue eyes that reminded her of the pair that stole her heart all those years back. The sound of someone clearing their throat startles her.
"I'm sorry for startling you, Miss Nolan. I'm Merlin Wilde." He smiles at her as he looks over her sign-in sheet and signals for her to follow him.
"Oh, no it's okay. Yes, I wanted to speak to you in private. My situation is not a common story," Emma says as she follows him to his office.
They enter his office and he kindly motions for her to take a seat.
Emma looks around the office. She tries to get a feel for the man. He seems kind, but looks can be deceiving.
"Miss Nolan, how may I help you? Is there a child in a situation you are concerned about?"
Emma nods. "Mr. Wilde, yes, in fact, that is the reason why I'm here."
"Alright," he starts taking notes. "May I have the child's name?"
"Hope Swan," Emma says. "I'm her mother."
Merlin looks up from his computer. "I'm sorry," he says as he types rapidly on his computer keyboard, before looking up quizzically. "Her case says she is in the care of Mrs. Emerald."
"I'm afraid you misunderstood me. I'm Hope's biological mother." She takes a deep breath. "I was young and unmarried when I got pregnant with her, and my grandfather didn't think having a child was appropriate." Her eyes begin to sting because of the tears. "He took it upon himself to decide that giving my daughter away while I was unconscious because of an accident was the appropriate decision to make. Until recently, I thought Hope was dead. I'm here because I need your help getting my daughter back. I understand she is in foster care, so it shouldn't be a big deal, right?"
Merlin keeps his eyes on her and laughs. "She is a good kid, the people that had fostered her before never had a complaint about her. She loves music and she always hummed a melody to herself. She was just not open to letting them in. It's like she knew she didn't belong there. I'm afraid that has caused her to run away on several occasions. I was just informed she ran away from the last home."
Emma's eyes tear up. "I loved my daughter from the moment I knew she was there. I used to play a song on the cello for her that her father sang the night we met. Until the day I thought I had lost her, I played the same song. I need to find her."
"And we will, Miss Nolan. I have put up fliers all over the city."
Emma nods. "I will look for her myself. I plan on hiring a private investigator. Could I have a picture of her?"
"Of course, Miss Nolan. I will do all in my power to help get your daughter back. I'm going to go looking for her at Washington Square Park. That is a hot spot for runaways. If you would like to join me? We might get lucky," he says as he hands her the picture of Hope from her file.
Emma smiles. "Sure, I will. Thank you for asking."
Hope is sitting on a bench at Washington Square Park and then she hears some music playing. Instantly, she is drawn to it. A boy around her age is playing the guitar. She smiles wide and sits down to enjoy the show. People surround the boy as he plays and they drop change on a baseball cap on the floor. Once he finishes playing, the boy picks up his cap and puts the money in his pocket. He grabs his guitar and thanks the crowd before leaving.
Curious, Hope follows him to an abandoned theatre.
Killian arrives on the first flight of the day. He rents a car and makes his way to the Nolan Estate. He is a nervous wreck. What will Emma think of him showing up unannounced? He hopes she will be happy to see him.
The boy Hope was following introduces himself as Henry. She likes him. He is nice and he promptly explains that all the runaway children live there. They had been taken in by Walsh Oz, the "Wizard". The man provides a roof over their head and food.
"Don't worry, Hope. He will teach you how to perform in street corners to pay for your part. If you're lucky and any good, he will let you use one of the park's spots," Henry says. "When he gets home with food, I will introduce you."
Hope thinks to herself it couldn't be that bad. This way, she won't be picked on for playing music.
Henry smiles fondly at Hope. "So why did you run away?"
Hope smiles back. "I'm going to find my parents. How about you?"
"My adoptive mom didn't love me." He shrugs. "Hope, I know you will find them."
Hope beams. "Thank you, but how can you believe so?"
Henry smiles. "I have a feeling that you will find them and then you will have your happy ending."
The Wizard hadn't always lived in condemned buildings. He once had been a success in his art but lost it due to some scandal years ago, but he could still spot talent. The young girl Henry had brought to him had loads of talent. She had played a song that most of the other kids couldn't play. The girl was magical. She appeared to be a musical genius with savant-like abilities and perfect pitch. He knows he could make a good living off of that girl. He smiles wickedly as the girl plays with his prized guitar, Roxanne. "Well, looks like we found our top earner thanks to Henry," The Wizard says to the group. He pulls Hope to the side. "Alright, you are going to be in my old spot at the park and you will be using Roxanne." He scrutinizes her. "Now what should we call you?"
"My name is Hope," she says.
He walks back and forth contemplating and shaking his head. "I know, I shall call you Odette."
Emma and Merlin arrive at the park. They split up in the hope to cover more ground.
Merlin posts missing posters of Hope on every corner he can; he even hands some to the people walking by.
Emma is walking around the corner when something catches her eye. They have some posters for an upcoming event displaying some talent from Julliard. She smiles wistfully, she misses her music. She takes out her phone to call an old friend. Elsa had ended up at their old school as a teacher.
Somehow her connection is stronger now. She has a sudden need to play. She feels it will help her connect with her daughter.

Loki takes over: Tom Hiddleston on his new TV series and a decade in the MCU
from Entertainment Weekly
Ten years after Hiddleston first chose chaos in Thor, Marvel’s fan favorite God of Mischief is going even bigger with his time-bending Disney+ show.
By Chancellor Agard May 20, 2021
Tom Hiddleston is Loki, and he is burdened with glorious purpose: After playing Thor's puckish brother for over a decade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, no one understands the mercurial Asgardian God of Mischief as well as the actor.
