We are working. Yeah, it is quite late. 22:30. The team had to go because at 22:00 there's a curfew so all the team needs to go back. And I've got quite a lot of work to do, because today wasn't a great day, in terms of low fuel pace, and now it's all about analyzing the driving, the different set-ups. Adjust the driving, and should be fine for qualy.

How to answer tough interview questions.
Subscribing to the Harvard Business Review was one of the best decisions I made. I have learned so much about career development, personal branding, and job crafting. This article summarizes some of the questions you will get asked in a behavioral interview (courtesy of HBR) and I have included my responses to all of them. Assume I am seeking a HR role in a Fortune 500 company
Tell me about yourself and describe your background in brief?
How did you hear about this position?
What type of work environment do you prefer?
How do you deal with pressure or a stressful situation?
Do you prefer working independently or on a team?
How do you keep yourself organized when balancing multiple projects?
What did you do in the last year to improve your knowledge?
Tell me about yourself and describe your background in brief?
I grew up in small country in West Africa. I went to a great school through scholarship with the condition that I would pay it forward to the younger generation. So, after high-school I spent two years teaching math to elementary school kids. It was there I discovered my interest of people development. I enjoyed taking a kid from "I don't like math to can I get more homework? When I moved to the U.S for college I chose to study Psychology with a minor in Organizational Development. And my internship as a Human Capital Manager has allowed me to further develop my communication and leadership skills.
How did you hear about this position?
I learned about this position through Stacy Williams. She was one of the panelists on the fireside chat I convened in my school on the importance of women in leadership positions. I followed up with her through a coffee chat. She really enjoyed her job and the company culture. Her enthusiasm about her work encouraged me to apply and I am really excited to be going through the interview process.
What type of work environment do you prefer?
I thrive in environments where I am constantly learning. A place where each days brings a fresh set of challenges that I can solve. I also like working with teams where we can collaborate on tasks and brainstorm solution-oriented ideas. In my former internship I worked with an incredible team as a project manager in the human resources division and I worked on certain projects where I had full creative control on the outcome. I enjoyed the balance of both.
How do you deal with pressure or a stressful situation?
Stressful situations are inevitable and I learned to navigate them successful throughout my college career and my various internships. The first time I came across a stressful situation was in my Sophomore year. I worked as a customer service representative at a big department store and it was holiday season. You can imagine the amount of pressure - long lines of customers all waiting to get attended too. Instead of succumbing to the pressure I made sure to really understand the pain point of each customer which were long wait times and stock outs. If we were out of one brand of sparkling water, I would quickly recommend a different brand. If lines were long, I would go to the floor to help the bagging process. Customers left feeling satisfied with their shopping experience. Overtime, I have realized that the key to dealing with pressure is willingly choosing to complete the tasks with a positive mindset instead of worrying.
Do you prefer working independently or on a team?
I like a mix of both. I enjoy working on a team. The process of strategizing with my teammates on the best way to approach a problem allows for critical analysis and diverse points of view. Wh I also build camaraderie and trust with them while we tackle big problems. I enjoy working alone as well because I get to see how I approach different problems and compare my current performance to my previous ones. Working alone also gives me an opportunity to get feedback from my managers on my progress or areas of improvement. I like a balance of both.
How do you keep yourself organized when balancing multiple projects?
I am used to working on multiple projects. A typical semester for me is juggling between my classes, weekend job, extracurricular activities, and passion projects. So to stay on top of my deadlines and due dates I like to prioritize my tasks based on their level of urgency and importance. I use the time blocking method to schedule time for my projects. I take advantage of tools like Google calendar to keep track of due dates and appointments and Notion to manage big projects.
What did you do in the last year to improve your knowledge?
Last summer, I took some time off to really learn about veganism. It seemed intimidating at first because I did not know enough. So I turned to research to understand the facts. I began making home-cooked meals by following recipes from people I trusted and liked on YouTube. As I began noticing changes in my gut health and productivity levels, I started a blog to share my experiences. Now my blog has over 500 enthusiastic vegans who are on the same journey as I am. it was one of the best investment I made in myself.

MeraAaaAaaa!!! How dare you bring up having a fwb relationship with alpha!yandere!alhaitham and not expand more on that!! 😭😭😭 I need this. I NEED HIM SO BADLY!!! LAJDKSK
He's actually so frustrating!!! You could be in heat and he will act so unaffected. His restraint is so very commendable; he hardly spares you much reaction and will even cover his nose and say something along the lines of, "You should be more aware of your cycles so that you aren't an inconvenience to others." >:( it's really difficult to know what Alhaitham truly thinks because he's usually so straight-faced and serious, and he takes all the necessary precautions so he won't put himself in a troublesome position. But you beg him, tell him he smells good, cling to him out of biological imperative, and oohhh you're so lucky he's strong enough to resist, if just barely, otherwise he'd have you pinned against the nearest surface right this very moment.
The fwb relationship is established the day he helps you find relief in the midst of your heat. He's just helping you because it would be inconvenient and dangerous to leave you alone when other alphas (who may not have as much restraint or respect as Alhaitham) could be lurking nearby. And he's certain you woudn't want to come out of your heat marked and knocked up by some stranger. Truthfully, he doesn't want you to be marked and bred by someone you hardly know. If it were up to him, he'd rather do those things.
There's no getting rid of him after the fact. You can thank him all you want, buy him lunch out of gratitude, and insist you'll be more cautious going forwards, but Alhaitham is here to stay. He always throws things back in your face. Wasn't it you who begged him for this? Didn't you say you wanted him to be your alpha? He's only following your protocol. :) and, yes, perhaps you did say things like that, but the you who was in heat is vastly different from the you who is not in heat. He just won't drop the matter, reminding you that it's much more beneficial if you engage in mutually beneficial relations with someone you know and trust. What if he hadn't been there to help? What if it was another alpha, one with less restraint? What would you have done? You would have accepted anyone in that state, wouldn't you? And that's exactly the point Alhaitham's trying to make: it's dangerous if you're going to be so careless about your heats.
He does make a good argument. You know that, by biology's design, you will always be at a disadvantage when you're an omega in heat. You know Alhaitham's only looking out for you as a friend should. You know you should feel relieved he's even willing to go through all of the trouble to help you during future heats. And doesn't everyone wish to have a strong, sensible alpha care for them when they're at their most vulnerable?
Alhaitham's infatuation is subtle and so easily hidden. You'll never know he's harboring such an obsession. He only lets it slip when you're in heat because you're too omega-brained to really register the meaning behind his words, and everything he says and does is just music to your ears. He can get away with being possessive and maddeningly infatuated when you're in heat because that's when you're truly his. Though it's all loveless and the two of you are stuck as friends (nothing more, as you always claim) it's hard to ignore the chemistry beyond heat sex. Sometimes you'll spend mornings in bed with him, too lazy to get up, insisting on spending five more minutes in the comforts of his room. Sometimes he brings you breakfast. Sometimes he helps you to the bath. Sometimes it really feels like domestic bliss.
And eventually you'll spend so many heats with him that, the next time you go into heat, your body might even recognize him as your alpha. You really shouldn't tell him to bite you with such a tempting voice. He might just give you exactly what you want, if only to finally make you his and excuse such carelessness on the addictive effects you have on him.
Whatever happens, Alhaitham will have a logical reasoning to explain it away. He always does, and you always believe him.

its crazy how coming into clinical social work, i really just thought I was up against systems and cycles of trauma....but it turns out i'm up against those two things AND other therapists. the amount of work spent correcting mistakes from other clinicians--whether with clients or during the classroom--is fucking crazy.
i totally get we're all on different journeys in terms of being clinicians. but it is insane finding out day after day of therapists and clinicians saying the worst things ever to clients. demeaning them, telling them "it's all in their head", the racism and the ableism and harm that is caused. like no fucking wonder people are afraid to seek therapy (on top of the accessibility issues). while i'm a little biased and think that at the very least clinical social work training focuses on viewing people within their environments (so not engaging in the medical/individualist models of practice that a lot of counseling programs focus on), that doesn't mean it gives every person the skills to be an effective therapist. i'm also not saying i'm the best clinician ever--I'm literally in training--but boy! it is jarring seeing how some of my peers interact in class and wondering...is that how you are with your clients??
my social work program at the very least also has a focus on anti-racism, but i know students from other programs and some of them don't even mention racism AT ALL and focus entirely on diagnosing people "correctly", or finding the perfect form of therapy to use on a client. but man, what none of these programs teach are basic life skills. wanting to be a clinician isn't enough, especially considering that an inhumane amount of people in my program are 1. so nervous about making mistakes that they lose scope of their practice 2. have so much internalized racism/white guilt to work thru 3. or they have absolutely no listening skills.
again, im not trying to make it seem like I am the number 1 clinician in the world ever. I don't even have a psych background or bachelor's in social work. my reasons for going into social work are quite selfish (I want a job that is very flexible, easily transferable, and can be done in different contexts), and the helping people part is just a plus. i'm just saying it's very jarring seeing other people in training and realizing they too are working with clients. i have conversation after conversation about these issues with other BIPOC/queer/marginalized clinicians, so I know i'm not the only person worried about some of the people that will be out of this program in a few years practicing on their own or with vulnerable populations.

Hiya lovely, do you have any wisdom for someone struggling to study? I've been out of school for 3 years due to illness (in my formative learning years) and now I'm gearing up for university with absolutely no study skills, low energy and a whole lot of insecurity around it. I have always been intelligent enough to learn quickly but there's a barrier I'm just not getting through, possibly due to the latent effects of the damage.
I have high expectations for myself and I want to model myself off of your brand! Thank you very kindly in advance <3
Hi love! It sounds like you're in a difficult situation, especially for someone in their teens. My heart goes out to you for overcoming this and going after a university degree. This ambition and dedication takes a considerable amount of mental fortitude and strength, so please remember that. I'm flattered by your kind words <3
Here are some of my study tips to help you maintain your stamina and focus:
When in doubt, make everything into an itemized list (topics, timelines, organizing by subtopic, key facts/people/dates surrounding a significant event, concept, theory, or ideology, cause and effect, problem and solution, etc.)
Use real-life analogies and applications as often as possible to retain information (e.g. to remember acronyms, propositions through the "box" metaphor, etc.)
Reframe long-winded information into an ongoing narrative. Humans are better at retelling stories than retaining/regurgitating a laundry list of facts or statistics
Organize your study sessions to each focus on one main topic, concept, or chapter
Create a timeline for all your assignments. Plan in advance to work on projects in milestones rather than all at once
Utilize time-blocking to pace yourself through the information (e.g. devote 30 minutes to one task or an hour to studying a specific concept; take a fully unplugged break before resuming work or another study session). Use a countdown timer if you think it would be helpful for you – everyone is different
Prioritize rest, even if it sounds counterintuitive at first. You're most productive and focused when your mind is well-rested enough to achieve and maintain peak performance. Efficiency is more important than time spent on a task – the former is what makes all of the difference (and leads to a more well-rounded, fulfilling life, too)
Discover motivating playlists that keep you on task. I love the ones for ADHD from Jason Lewis - Mind Amend on YouTube (I'm listening to one now, lol). Coffee or caffeinated tea can also help your energy to power through a study session, just don't overdo it
Focus on one task, page, or concept at a time. Don't let the entirety of a project or the volume of your overall workload overwhelm you. Just focus & prioritize what's in front of you. Take one step closer to your goals every day. Perfectionism is the most stifling barrier to progress and long-term success. Remember that
You got this! Hope this helps xx

it's been an honor watching your journey from femboy in denial to trans girl who reblogs horny posts with nonhorny disclaimers. soon you will complete your metamorphosis and reblog horny posts unironically, without disclaimer, in full endorsement
Eh
The femboy stage was less denial, and more "taking advantage of a current trend to make one last ditch effort at trying to be happy without transitioning"
But also uuuuhhhhhhhhhhh hhhmmm....
