When I first set out to create a conlang it was as a heartlang to use for expressing myself in journal. However, as it has become more complicated I don't ever know if I'll be able to learn it.
Not only that but I intended to realise that initially I wanted to make it as polysynthetic as possible. However, I've also come to appreciate the beauty of some analytic languages and constructions and am taking a more measured approach.
Conlanging can feel a bit like jazz; it's sometimes about the notes you don't play. Especially when it's sos easy to add EVERY grammatical feature.
I have 14 cases, polypersonal verb agreement, evidentiality markers, topic prominant structure based on pragmatic word order, grammatically marked volition (optional), various clitics, and haven't even gotten started on TAM yet!

Along Barcelona's Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes is the Gaudi-influenced confection Casa Pere Brias. To the point of optical illusion, this facade takes Gaudi's "melting ice cream" style to its logical conclusion.
It was designed and constructed by Julián Garca Néz in 1903 and stands out along a major thoroughfare in the heart of Barcelona. With such a visually stunning metropolis, it was inevitable that buildings would strive for viewers' attention; this one makes no apologies about making its presence known.

Quote
I fell in love with books. Some people find beauty in music, some in painting, some in landscape, but I find it in words. By beauty, I mean the feeling you have suddenly glimpsed another world, or looked into a portal that reveals a kind of magic or romance out of which the world has been constructed, a feeling there is something more than the mundane, and a reason for our plodding.

Challenge #03936-J284: Creative Creations
"Should the day come when even I'm not here anymore, please look after this database [DATA CORRUPTED]."
(who is this... Why is this message in my records...)
"Do you have something that's irreplaceable, [DATA CORRUPTED]?"
(irreplaceable... broken parts... can be simply replaced...)
"You'll definitely find it one day, [DATA CORRUPTED]."
(Such things... will only cause trouble...)
"When that time comes... You should leave this place behind" -- Anon Guest
Someone had made it, that was the only certainty. Someone clever. Someone rich. Someone had put gears and cogs and magic together with tools and spells and made... it. A thing that looked like a middle-sized intelligent creature.
A machine that could follow instructions, but also think and reason on its own. Given a task, it could find ways to surmount or subvert obstacles. It could stop if the goal was impossible. Unlike the elemental constructs, that would mindlessly continue on their appointed task until they were destroyed or ordered otherwise by their masters.
That was pretty much all this one knew as it came into awareness. It had been sat on a shelf in a workshop, long gone to dust and cobwebs. What activated it was unknown. Who made it was unknown.

Not to be mean but I soooo hate that the mainstream narrative of autism being “I was 25 when I thought I might be autistic, now my whole struggle is about the process of diagnosis” and combined with people learning about the gender disparity and distorting it into “no afab person ever gets diagnosed” it’s like. Ok. I’m a Cis girl diagnosed at 11 growing to resent the taking over of “why does no one believe I’m autistic” as the universal struggle when I was getting r slured since I was in the pushchair, which albeit was not that young because my gross motor skills were significantly delayed

Depicting Diversity. By Claudia Tyborski @claudia.tyborski “Deconstruction helps me #discover new, different #figures and prove that we are not limited to just one #shape, size or #vision. This leads to #meditations on #beauty and #diversity – I wonder, is what we take to be #real at #face value really as real as it seems? We live in a world of #constructed reality, based on examples, based on #beliefs… Deconstruction may allow us to #break down this reality, to #decide whether it is genuinely real, for us. In this world, we have a deep-seated desire to #accept of every type of #body. Placing the human body and the figure at the centre of my work is my way of discovering when, and why we started to look down upon the diversity of the human body. I like the #notion of the #existence of a collective devoted to deconstruction and bringing #together #artists who work in a #comparable manner. This is, once more, a proof of diversity – one guiding line, with many different #interpretations.” » (at Berlin, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cn7sggKLas9/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).
Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.

It is inherently fun and sexy to say statements that swap the traditional genders of pronouns and terms mid-statement, such as: "I'm going to make him my wife" "She's my boyfriend" "Who says a guy can't be a pretty princess?" "That girl's the coolest dude I've ever met" "She's a madman who has to be stopped" "It's not his fault he's a material girl" Gender is a set of watercolors and the prettiest shades come from mixing the paints together.

I have found the best ally
Straight and cis people will say that they are allies, but you will NEVER measure up to my dentist.
Me: "Hey, is it ok if I can change my name on my info from [DEADNAME] to Sai?"
Random woman that I wasn't even talking to in the chair next to me: "Honey, if that's the name you had at birth, [DEADNAME] is your only name."
My dentist, very slowly turning her rolley chair towards the woman: "Shush."
Random woman: "Excuse me?"
Destist: *closes privacy curtain while staring bullets at the lady*
Me: *pissing myself laughing*
My dentist while changing my name in my info (reminder that English is not her first language, she immigrated from Russia): "There, Sai, you have pretty boy teeth. Smile and make all girls swoon."
Me not having the heart to tell her I'm not transmasc but I'm Agender, and still pissing myself laughing: "Thank you [DENTIST NAME]."

I think people sometimes misunderstand why we come up with such elaborate justifications for shipping two characters together. I don't justify my ships because I feel that I need to; I justify my ships because squinting at the published canon with furrowed brow and asking myself "okay, how exactly would this work?" is my idea of a good time.
