What roblox games kingdom hearts characters play
A/N:hey, this is my first like headcoanon thingy or whatever, but I had this idea while playing roblox(somehow) and anyway, that's it.
《♡Kairi♡》She def plays Royale high, and gets mad everytime she lags on the new campus. you could hear yelling at her tablet ten feet away😭
"Hey Kairi, you goo-"
"WHY WONT IT LOAD?"
she also plays it almost everyday, its like a religion atp. she also plays those tower obbies, and finishes them in like, an hour😭 she's really slow in obbies and tries to finish the tower before anyone else. and probably has the most shittiest wifi known to man. if you tried playing roblox with her, it'd probably take her like ten minutes to load.😭
"Are you in the game yet?"
"I'm still loading hold on."
○◇Riku◇○
This guy NEVER plays roblox. only when he's bored or something. his favorite games r probably total roblox drama and any fighting game.(very heavy on the fighting games) and hes SUPER competitive, will beat you in any game.
"YOU JUST GOT IN THE SERVER HOW ARE YOU ALREADY WINNING?"
"I dunno."
(Kairi probably forces Riku to play Royale high with her but he doesn't wanna tell ANYONE that.) he also plays on his phone or something, his user is also so corny, "Imsoawesome42099" but he probably only plays when you force him to or something.
"I'm busy I'm not playing that."
"Do it or else-"
"Jesus, fine."
|¤Sora¤|
LOVES PLAYING ROBLOX. period. he probably likes to roleplay in Brookhaven or Royale high, so you'll see Kairi and sora sitting next to each other playing together.
"I thought you were gonna be on sunset Island Sora! YOU promised!"
"But I'm at the ball Kairi!"
he spend all his money on roblox, so he LOADED with robux. one time, you heard him giggling in his room and saw him roleplaying.
"Sora what are you doi-?"
"NOTHING!"

Promise. - Theodore Nott X Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Theodore gives Y/N a special gift, reminding them that they are his safety in an unsafe world.
A/N: I would imagine this takes place in 6th year, 'cause you know.. Voldemort. But beware I've been really into writing fluff for my comfort characters lately. This is very angsty. Extra heartbreak points if one of them dies at the battle of Hogwarts, use your imagination.
Late-night walks were common for the pair. Especially when they needed to get away for the night, with everyone going on in their world it was no wonder they both needed a break.
Theodore Nott was under the threat of his father, expected to side with Lord Voldemort, it was his reputation as a pure-blooded Slytherin. Perhaps in some sickening way, he felt the need to clear the family name of his father's wrongdoing. But deep down, he knew it wasn't right. They both did.
Y/n was by his side, as loyal as a Hufflepuff. through everything. On the nights his father became aggressive and violent, Theo came to them seeking refuge. Y/n always welcomed the boy with open arms.
They had been a pair since childhood, they attended dinner parties together, and y/n attended every one of Theo's quidditch games. In turn, Theo was there for y/n when classes were stressful, and life felt overwhelming.
It wasn't until that particular evening that things would change, possibly forever.
The two walked along the empty, quiet streets braving the cold air together. they had both been quiet, observing their surroundings and enjoying each other's company in silence.
"Y/n," Theo finally said, shattering the long silence that had been following them.
"hmm?" y/n's voice was soft, quiet. they were now entering a park square. someplace slightly more private than the streets.
"I've been thinking."
"About what?"
"About us."
y/n's heart began to race. surely this wasn't a breakup, how could Theo possibly be abandoning all they had, after all, they had been through? this couldn't be. y/n was so accustomed to hearing bad news these days that it was the only solution their brain could come up with.
"Y/n," Theo turned to them, holding their face in cold pale hands. "I love you, but I don't want to be with you in this war," he said.
"Teddy, I don't understand-"
"Please just listen." Theo insisted quietly. "This is not me parting ways with you, I- could never," he explained gently. "I propose that we run away. change our names, we can flee and start a new life together. without all the dangers of being here."
Y/n was unconvinced and looked down for a moment before locking eyes with him.
"I love you more than anything. But if we stay here our lives will be in danger, possibly forever."
Y/n couldn't deny that fact. The war had already taken people they both loved. It wasn't right to be talking about wanting to get married one day, have kids, and grow old together if it meant they would be living in danger, living in fear.
"It isn't right. We can't just flee. we need to fight this," y.n shook their head gently, partially in disbelief. "no matter what happens." the pair locked eyes and the snow began to gently fall around them, coating the park in a grey glow.
"Then promise me."
Theodore shuffled through his pockets, pulling out a tiny deep red velvet box. It was battered, aged, and torn. but it was still soft. "Promise me, that you'll stick around, no matter what." as soon as Theo mimicked y/n's words, soft tears began falling from their eyes, watching him toy with the box.
Out from the box emerged a shiny, silver ring with an elaborate stone placed in it. something very expensive no doubt. something that was purchased with his father's money. Theodore offered the ring to y/n.
"This was my mother's ring," he said quietly, his voice slightly shaking. "I took it from her things when she,-" Theo gasped quietly, the shaky breath taking the air out of his lungs when he tried to continue his sentence.
Y/n grabbed the sides of his face, the boy wasn't crying, Theodore rarely ever cried. but there was hurt in his eyes that pained y/n to see.
"I promise." barely a whisper. "no matter what Theo, I'll always be right here."
Y/n's soft touch brushed against Theo's cheeks before he pulled forward pressing their lips together in desperation. It was a sweet and heartfelt kiss, like two lovers that couldn't live without each other.
After the kiss, they embraced one another very tightly as the snow collected around them.
"I just want everything to be okay," Y/n whispered. "we'll be okay."
they pulled away from one another, each shivering in the cold. Y/n took the ring and gently twirled it around their thumb and forefinger. "Theo I can not take your mother's ring." it was dazzling. quite beautiful for that sort of thing. "I know how much this means to you." y/n said. Theo was insistent. "I've been wrong about a lot of things in my life, y/n. But I was never wrong about you. I want you to have it, keep it, my end of our promise." he insisted.
"Theo-"
y/n was promptly cut off. "Please take this. you know how much it means to me, you mean more than that." his heartfelt confession made y/n's stomach flutter, it was that same feeling they had when they were younger and Theo would hold their hand or say just the right thing. Theo grabbed the ring and slipped it onto y/n's middle finger.
"I'll guard it with my life." y/n said with another shiver, the later the night grew the colder the chill in the air became.
"Here, love," Theo said, taking off his coat and offering it to Y/n by draping it around their shoulders. "but Theo, you'll be cold." y/n retorted, but Theo was incredibly insistent that evening. "I can manage until we are safe at home," he chuckled softly. "Don't worry about me. I'm fine."
As the two continued on their path, Theo wrapped their arm around y/n, in an effort to keep them warm and as an act of deep affection. Y/n leaned their head over onto Theo's arm.

just come home pt. 2 - satoru gojo
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
⋆⭒˚。⋆
[satoru gojo - f!reader] ✧ summary: dealing with the breakup has been hard for the both of you, and it doesn't help when your randomly bump into each other ✧ cw: angst, some fluff, denial, slight intoxication, somewhat proofread ✧ word count: 3.6k
part 1
⋆⭒˚。⋆
35 days has passed since he had last seen you, let alone heard your voice and he never knew he could miss something so much. The first week after everything had went down, he had blown up your phone in hopes you two could talk it through. But he hadn’t been so lucky, as he was sent straight to voicemail every time.
He was dying to know how you were doing, wondering if you were as miserable without him as he found himself to be without you. Every time he stepped into the abandoned apartment, the scene of you leaving him played over and over in his head. It wasn’t until your friend had picked up all your stuff he realised how imprinted you were in the apartment. It didn’t feel like home to him anymore.
The apartment was, in theory, Satoru’s. In the beginning, you spent the night every now and then. But the relationship was just so intense, quickly escalating to spending the night, every night. Eventually you both figured it was just better you moved in, so you wouldn’t have to travel in between places for small necessities. As time went on, your stuff and decor brought new life to the place, something he had wanted for a long time but never taken the time to do. But now every trace of your time in his apartment was erased and he couldn’t stand being there.
“She’s not telling me anything, Satoru,” Suguru sighed as he was continuously begging him to spill whatever he had heard from you. Throughout your relationship, it was only natural for you to get to know his friends. Therefore, Suguru had reached out to you once he learned what had happened. But much to Satoru’s dismay, you gave short replies, only answering out of pure politeness.
“She’s a chatty person, I find it hard to believe she’s sending you one-word texts.”
With a sigh, Suguru threw his phone at him, taking Satoru by surprise. “Have a look for yourself.” Suguru didn’t have to ask him twice as he instantly entered the texts exchanged between the two of you. Not only did you answer shortly, but you took your sweet time sending any form of reply. But once he saw the last message he had received from you was yesterday, his heart did a small jump. It was the first sign he’d seen himself that you were even alive.
y/n: doing fine. hope you have a nice weekend too :)
His eyes kept staring at the small screen, fighting the urge to start typing anything just to be in contact with you. After a while, he reluctantly handed the phone back to Suguru.
“Happy now?” Suguru asked, earning him a cold glare from Satoru. “If I’m gonna be honest, I thought the two of you had been having issues for a while.” His glare instantly softened and his entire demeanour had changed into one of pure sadness.
“Come again?”
“You can’t be serious, Satoru?” Suguru asked tauntingly, his voice dripping with disappointment. “You hate work. I thought the first time you volunteered to stay after a meeting, you guys had been fighting and you were just being petty.”
“I’m not petty,” Satoru raced to defend himself.
“That’s beside the point!” Suguru said, rolling his eyes. “You know how you can get. I thought you just wanted to piss her off, but it kept happening. I tried asking you about it, but you just brushed it off every time.”
“I’m telling you, we were fine. There were no issues!”
“You keep saying that, but something changed. Satoru, do you remember the last time Shoko or I begged you to shut up about her?” Now that Suguru mentioned it, Satoru began to think about what Suguru had said and realised he was making a point.
He felt as if his heart was breaking all over again, to hear how even his friends had managed to pick up on his blatant disregard for his girlfriend, but it had managed to slip right by him. And because of that, the image of you, choked with tears because of him was forever burned into his mind.
“I just really want her back!” He stuttered, clearly in despair which caught Suguru off guard. For all the times Satoru had explained the situation to his friends, he had never really let his emotions show to anyone. He kept all that locked up until he was sound in his bed, when he couldn’t keep it together anymore. Nearly every night since you’d left, he fell asleep crying.
“It’s not like you deserve it.”
Satoru scoffed. “I never meant for this to happen, Suguru." He really didn’t appreciate his closest friend going against him on the matter, even though he was fully aware it was what he deserved.
“I’m sure you didn’t,” his friend shrugged. “But it did. This is the bed you made, it’s time you lay in it.” Every word that left Suguru’s mouth was entirely true, and Satoru hated himself for it. Ever since he last saw you, he had tried to convince himself this wasn’t his fault, that there was no way for him to have seen this coming. But every time he went down that road, he came to the same conclusion that he could have avoided it a hundred times over.
Satoru was definitely blaming himself enough, to the point where he was in no mood to sit there and listen to his friend spew statements of how badly he screwed up, so he got up from his seat and headed for the door.
“Where are you going?”
He didn’t even bother answering Suguru, as he slammed the door behind him as he left.
⋆⭒˚。⋆
It had been the longest and most dreadful 35 days of your life. Luckily, your friend had been kind enough to open her home to you and put absolutely no pressure for you to leave anytime soon.
She’d been asleep when you came banging on her door in the middle of the night, extremely confused at first when you had just collapsed into a bundle of sobs on her living room floor. Once she’d wiped the sleep out of her eyes, she had managed to decipher your broken words into a coherent narrative about how you and Satoru had broken up.
The first week was definitely the worst, huddled up on her couch in a blanket, only getting up to go to the bathroom. She had provided you with whatever you needed; ice cream, movies and takeout. You name it, and she brought it.
You were thankful she’d just let you have some time to be a complete mess before being forced to deal with life again. So after the first week, she started to pull you out of you comfort zone in order for you to start a healing process. At first, she just had you help her cook dinner, then she brought you along to shop for groceries. Before you knew it, you found yourself doing your makeup again which seemed like a huge step. Finally you were putting in some effort in making yourself feel a little better. It felt like a breath of fresh air when you returned to a form of normalcy.
That didn’t mean it hurt any less. In the moments you found yourself thinking about your relationship — past relationship — the sadness struck you all over again, and it didn’t seem like it would fade away just yet. But it had at least become manageable, and it was nice falling asleep without sobbing to the point where you couldn’t breathe.
Finally, your progress had resulted in the first social outing since the breakup. Your friend had been invited to a barbecue, and she had begged for you to join her. After some convincing, you decided it would actually be nice to go out and meet some people and regain some of the social life you had lost.
That’s how you found yourself in the grocery store, trying to find anything to bring to the barbecue, not wanting to come empty handed. You stopped your search when you felt a pair of eyes staring at you. Turning to face the person, you immediately froze, your breath hitching in your throat.
A few feet from you, Satoru was standing, his mouth slightly hanging open. You felt your heart begin to race, banging against your chest like a hummingbird.
Time stood still as you both stared at each other, wondering who would be the one to break the ice first. Wrapping your arms around yourself in comfort, you tightened your grip to contain the overwhelming feelings filling your body.
⋆⭒˚。⋆
“You didn’t see his face, y/n. I mean, he has never been embarrassed like that before,” Satoru laughed. He had his arm tossed over your shoulders, while your arm was wrapped around his waist, stumbling down the deserted street. It was definitely not unlike the two of you to leave a party early, as you both much more preferred only each others company.
“Why didn’t you come and get me?” You whined. “I would have loved to see a girl get Suguru all flustered.”
“I mean, she was hot too. Way out of his league.” With the hand resting in his waist, you pinched hard.
“Watch it mister!” You growled, but in reality you were chocking back the drunk giggle that was bubbling up inside you. “If she was so hot, why don’t you go see if she wants to join you for the night.” You shrugged his arm off your shoulders, and released your grip on him. However, he was quick to grab ahold of your hand again and pulled you towards him so you collided with his chest.
“Oh, don’t be like that, pretty girl.” His voice was teasing you, clearly not taking your fake anger seriously. He wrapped one arm around your waist, making it impossible for you to pull away. The other hand grabbed your face before he began to place a bunch of kisses all over your face.
“Satoru!” You squealed in between giggles. Pressing your hands against his chest, you tried to push him away and get out of his grip, but to no prevail.
“What? You don’t want my kisses?” He pouted, loosening his grip, but you remained close to him. “Maybe that girl is interested in them instead?.” His eyes were so soft as he looked down on you, a small genuine smile dancing on his lips. Even with his playful attitude, you had zero concern he would even consider going back to her.
“You’re a funny guy, aren’t you?” You hooked your arms around his neck, standing on your tiptoes leaning in closer.
“I think I'm hilarious.” Your nose brushed against his, your lips only an inch apart. His hot breath touched your skin, and his eyes travel your face.
“What makes you think she’d even go for you, darling?” His head fell back in laughter, as you flashed him a huge grin, still hanging on around his neck.
“Suguru’s a handsome guy. If I were her-“
“Shut up,” Satoru cut you off before he finally connected his lips with yours in a sweet and passionate kiss. The butterflies went wild as you felt him smile into the kiss. “Doesn’t matter anyway. You’re the only girl I have eyes for.” He said after he reluctantly pulled away.
“Keep it that way,” you giggled before pulling him in for another kiss.
⋆⭒˚。⋆
It was strange to see him again, and a new sensation of melancholy entertained you. From the second you’d left his apartment, you began to picture what it would be like to see him again. You imagined you’d be struck with the same sorrow of that night, only thinking of how he had been unable to provide for your needs. But you found yourself only thinking of the good memories you had shared with him. Every sweet affirmation, every gentle touch, just in general the time spent together.
“Hi,” you croaked, observing how his body was brought back to reality at the sound of your voice. He took a few steps closer and removed his signature sunglasses. Seeing his captivating eyes in person for the first time in so long made you tighten the grip around yourself even more, if that was even possible.
“Hey.” His voice didn’t have the same unease as yours, but it was visible on his stance he wasn’t as confident as he usually was. “What brings you here?”
“To the grocery store?”
“Yeah, what brings you to the grocery store?” Satoru repeated awkwardly, trying to play off his weak attempt to make small talk, his cheeks turning to a faded shade of pink.
“Well, I’m going to a barbecue party so just wanted to bring something.”
“Barbecue party. Fun!”
Seeing you again was overwhelming for him as well, and created a twinge of hurt within him. You looked so different from the last time he saw you. There was a hint of a glow in you he hadn’t seen in a long time, and it hit him again that he was the one who had smothered that glow in you in the first place.
Satoru knew he couldn’t continue to lie to himself much longer, and seeing you again was what made him realise that. Right now, looking at you wearing a cute summer dress, looking absolutely stunning, he saw the extreme contrast in your person compared to a month ago. He finally had a clear visual of how his ignorance had truly damaged you, when time away from him had brought a new form of life into you.
What was even worse, was how he could still see the love you had for him in your eyes. From the moment you had gotten together, one could never have doubted the fact that you loved Satoru Gojo. And you’re unwavering love for him had made him feel so safe and seen, like he’d never experienced before. Which was probably the reason he’d let everything get to this point. He knew your feelings for him wouldn’t change if he stayed late a few times, because you never hesitated to show your affection. He just took it for granted he did the same. To him, it wasn’t a question if he was entirely devoted to you, since he was so adamant that he was willing to do absolutely anything for you. He just sort of figured he had given you the same reassurance he’d received. But looking back, he could clearly see that wasn’t the case.
“I hope it’ll be,” you said with a weak smile and his heart fluttered instantly.
“I thought you weren’t big on barbecues though,” he dared chuckle a little.
“I'm not, but figured it was a good opportunity to meet some people.”
He so wanted to reach out his hand and cup your soft cheek, slowly stroking his thumb while his other hand intertwined with yours.
“How are you?” He blurted out, asking the question he had dreaded the answer to.
“Well, I’ve been better,” you stuttered. “But getting there I suppose. Taking it one day at a time. You?”
Whatever dumb thing he thought of answering, trying to conceal how broken he had been the past month, would do no good as you would see right through him. He simply shrugged, which was received by a compassionate, yet sad smile from you.
“You look great, by the way,” he gestured towards you, causing you to blush.
“Thank you,” you whispered, not able to peer your eyes off of him. He was still as gorgeous as ever, but he didn’t look the same. He clearly wasn’t sleeping well, dark circles under his eyes. Knowing him, he probably wasn’t eating well either. But his snow white hair fell the same way, and his eyes looked at you the way they always did. “I have to get going.”
“Wait-“ Satoru quickly interjected, stepping closer again so he was only standing two feet away from you. “Would you like to grab coffee or something sometime?” He sounded so unbelievably innocent, almost like a child as he made his suggestion. He anxiously waited for your answer, his shoulders tense with anticipation.
“I’m not sure that’s a good idea, Gojo.” He flinched ever so slightly at the use of his last name, something you’d never done in the span of your relationship. It created a new distance between the two of you that felt untouchable.
“Don’t you think we could both benefit from talking about everything? I mean, things ended very abruptly-“ he quickly shut up when your friend joined your side, pure fury written all over her.
His posture changed, immediately portraying more confident. He seemed now like the Satoru everyone knew, but you saw through his façade.
“Don’t you have anything better to do than torture this poor girl?”
“We were simply chatting.” Satoru tried to play it cool by flashing your friend a smug grin, but it only seemed to fuel the fire.
“Suddenly have time for her now?” He squinted at her comment, knowing it was more than called for. It didn’t stop the urge he had to fire back at her. “Hope your job promotes you, so it’s all worth it at least.”
“I don’t see how this concerns you,” he replied, trying to keep a considerate tone, but you knew better than to think it was genuine.
“It concerns me when she’s absolutely inconsolable, bawling her eyes out in my apartment.” Your friend didn’t need to go into further detail for him to get a pretty clear picture of the scene. He had, after all, been unfortunate enough to witness it himself.
“I just want a few words with y/n alone,” he said, a hint of desperation in his voice. Your friend was about to continue to argue, but you placed a hand on her shoulder, signaling for her to put down her pitchfork.
“It’s okay,” you took a deep breath. “Just wait by the register and I’ll be with you shortly.” She gave one last stern look in Satoru’s direction before doing as you requested.
Looking at Satoru, his cocky expression had disappeared the second your friend had turned a corner. It felt so bittersweet, seeing the kind person you knew inside out, standing before you so fragile. Old habits die hard, and you felt yourself fighting the urge to stroke his cheek and comfort him.
“Y/n, I just feel like there is a lot of stuff that we’ve left unsaid.” His calm, cool and collected manner had been thrown out the window and he resembled himself the evening of the breakup. “I never got to say my piece or apologise properly.”
“I know,” was all you said, using every fiber of your body to seem levelheaded. You observed how he constantly tried to reach out for you, but stopped himself every time out of respect.
“Believe me when I say, I truly am sorry. I’ve never regretted anything more.”
“I know,” you repeated, same calm tone.
“Maybe it would give us a chance to heal properly if everything is out in the open. So we both know exactly what the other is thinking.”
“Gojo-“
“No, please, listen. I know I messed up and I really want to fix this!” He rambled on, his desperation resembling the one from that night
“Gojo-“
“Maybe even there’s a chance for us-“
“Satoru,” you said sternly, finally silencing his tangent. Your eyes flickered between his as you saw him trying to find the focus to calm his breathing. “Please don’t make this harder than it needs to be.”
You saw the heartbreak wash over him, his shoulders falling in disappointment as he whispered your name. You’d missed hearing him speak it with such tender care.
“I am finally starting to get back on track. I’ve even started looking for an apartment,” you said with a sad chuckle. You wanted to show him, and yourself, that you had gotten to the point that you could at least manage to not completely breakdown when you were out in public. “I stand by what I said that night.”
“And you should! You deserve to be loved, and I can be that person. I am that person! There has never been a moment where I haven’t loved you.”
“Satoru, stop it.” You raised your voice slightly. “This is not the time or place for this.” It seemed as it wasn’t until now he was reminded of where you were standing. You gathered up the courage and walked up to him, carefully placing your hand on his cheek. The second you felt his cheek against your hand, you felt as if your skin was on fire.
Satoru didn't hesitate eitherm to place his big hand over yours as hea leaned into your touch. His eyes became glossy, realising how much he had craved feeling your skin against him again. “I just think I need to be the most important person in my life for a while.” He slowly began to nod in agreement, and you heard his breath began to quicken like it had done previously.
He licked his lips, trying to find his words. “See you around then?” His voice was unsteady and his chin quivered.
“Yeah, probably,” you spoke sadly. You let your hand fall from his face, but he held onto your hand until you were too far away. In a way, it felt as if both of you were aware that your story wasn’t over just yet. Satoru was right, there was a lot of stuff still left out in the open which made you believe there were still chapters to be written, whether they were good or bad. But it brought you some form of comfort.
Drying the single tear that had fallen from your eye, you turned away and began to walk away. “You look beautiful, darling,” he said, making your head turn one last time. You gave him a sad smile before he disappeared out of view.

paring - Tom Blyth x famous!reader summary - your life wasn’t easy, hurting those who loved you and being hurt by those you loved — until you met Tom words - 1.29k note - lowkey hate this, but you all voted for it so im publishing it anyway!! hope you guys like it ^-^ With finals coming up, I might not be as active, but once break starts I will be back!!
Tumblr media
Growing up as a nepo baby, people took advantage of you, only becoming your friend for the fame that came along. You learned to deal with it but after so many people started to use you, you had to leave them.
In LA, it was hard to tell what people’s true intentions were, but they said they loved you, so you believed them. You were friends with people with all types of wrong to them. Now that you lived in New York, no one could be trusted, you learned your lesson after being naive one too many times.
The moment you encountered Tom, things were never the same. He was your literal knight in shining armor.
As you walked down the carpet of another premiere your manager forced you to attend, you couldn’t help but notice all the fake smiles from everyone you knew— including yourself. Being famous had its ups and downs, many loved your work but they did not appreciate who you were associated with.
Paparazzi continued to take your photos, commanding you to pose or asking you questions. With all the flashing from the cameras, everyone put on their best faces, but you can guarantee everyone looked worse in the light.
Once you reached the end of the carpet, your face dropped, of all people, your ex-boyfriend was standing there.
You had broken up with him almost a year ago, right before you moved out to New York. He was the main reason you couldn’t trust anyone. He brought you to parties, clubs, bars — the whole LA experience. That is where you had gotten into drugs, most people encouraged you including him.
Your ex had walked over to you and tried to make conversation with you. As he begged you to take him back, you tried to leave, not in the mood to deal with him. He didn’t get the hint as he continued to stand next to you.
Telling him to leave you alone, you turned to walk away but he grabbed your wrist and pulled you back towards him. You tried to break free from his grasp but his grip on your wrist tightened. Fortunately, someone had noticed what was happening and approached the two of you.
“Is this man hurting you, love?” the voice intervened, getting in between you and your ex. You did not know who this man was but you were thankful for him either way. Nodding your head, you shyly stood behind him. “I’m pretty sure my girlfriend told you to leave her alone.”
His eyes widened as he looked up at the man protecting you. This mystery man was at least 6’0, 5 inches taller than your ex, who stood at 5’7. Intimidated, he ran off, most likely back to the people he came with.
“Thank you, sir,” you acknowledged his heroic actions as he turned around to face you.
“Anytime dear, I wouldn’t want a pretty lady like you to be treated so horribly.” You couldn’t help but blush at his words. Before you could reply, he got dragged away by what looked like to be his friend. You weren’t able to get his name or the reason he was there. Later that night, you found out that he played the main character in the movie for the premiere.
₊˚。⋆❆⋆。˚₊
From that day, Tom reached out to you on Instagram, asking to see you again, but this time under proper circumstances. At first, you were hesitant, you didn’t know anything about him — what if he was just like the others?
He didn’t give up, telling you that meeting up with him was completely up to you. He wouldn’t want to make you uncomfortable or feel unsafe.
Either way, you agreed, you hated to admit it but ever since you saw him on the night of the premiere, you didn’t want to look at anything else. You couldn’t stop thinking about him and you didn’t want to think about anything else.
The more the two of you hung out, the more you realized how genuine he truly was. Taking you on dates to places you’ve only dreamed of going. On one occasion he surprised you with a cute rooftop garden in the heart of New York City.
₊˚。⋆❆⋆。˚₊
“Where are you taking me?” You questioned as you rode on the back of his motorcycle. He had randomly shown up at your apartment door and told you to get ready.
“You will see when we get there.” He spoke, refusing to give you any hints as to what you were going to do. Throughout the ride, you watched as you sped past all the cars and took in the view of New York City at night.
As you arrived at what you believed to be the destination, Tom dragged you into the building and straight into the elevator— pushing the button for the roof. Reaching the top, you opened to door to see a beautiful garden, the skyline sparkled with city lights.
In a cozy corner of the roof, a picnic blanket sat with an array of your favorite snacks and drinks. The music playing in the background displayed his thoughtfulness as he carefully curated the playlist based on your time together.
The night was filled with laughter, shared dreams, and stolen glances under the starlight sky. It truly was a night to remember— the way it ended left you over the mean.
The evening was coming to a close as you were lying in his lap, a comfortable silence filling the air. It had been quiet for a while, the only thing heard was Tom humming along to the songs.
You were content with the night, the quietness was a huge contrast to your old life in LA. Instead of being at a party filled with people who didn’t give a shit about you, here you were, on a date with a man who proved he was worthy of your trust.
Interrupting the silence, Tom finally spoke up, what came out of his mouth changed your views on love. “There’s something I’ve been meaning to speak to you about.” You could tell he was nervous as one of his hands fiddled with your hair.
“Is everything okay?”
“Everything is perfect— you’re perfect.” Your eyes widened at the last part of his sentence. By now, you were sitting up facing him with your hands in your lap.
“I have enjoyed the past few months with you, ever since I met you at that premiere I knew I had to know you, whether it be just as friends— I wanted you in my life.” His admission hung in the air, and you felt a rush of emotions. The sincerity of his words resonated deeply and you couldn’t help but smile.
He continued. “I’ve never met someone so genuine. I care about you in a way I’ve never felt before. I know you don’t want to get hurt again but if you let me, I want to make you the happiest girl in the world.”
As he spoke, your heart fluttered, realizing that the connection you shared was reciprocated in a way that went beyond friendship. The vulnerability in his confession melted away any doubts you had about him.
“You have brought so much light into my life, Tom. I never thought I would find anyone who truly cares, who sees beyond the surface.” your voice was filled with sincerity, “I want this— I want us.”
Before him, you were miserable — feeling like you were sleeping in a 20-year dark night. For the entirety of your life, you closed yourself off from the world. Tom brought you out of that state, you were wide awake. With him, the only thing you see is daylight.

☾ Tamed | Bakugou Katsuki ☽
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: Hoping this one turned out well! Katsuki was immediately my favorite character when I first started MHA.
Pairing: Bakugou Katsuki x Fem Reader
Word Count: 1.2k
Genre: Fluff, semi-crack
Warnings: Some cursing (obvi), Katsuki's hair from his internship (yes, I'm counting that as a warning)
Tumblr media
As you hummed to yourself, you walked towards the 1-A classroom, thinking over everything you had learned at your internship. You mindlessly glanced around the halls, watching as friends laughed with each other before school would start. Without even realizing it, Ochaco had run up behind you, jumping onto your back with her arms wrapped around your neck. The sudden feeling of someone clinging to your body had you jolting in surprise.
“Y/n!” Ochaco started with a giggle as she dropped down from your form. “How was your internship? I learned so much from Gunhead!”
You giggled as you lightly bumped your shoulder against hers, “Yeah? Can you show me some of the things this weekend when we spar?”
“Yeah! Maybe you can teach me some of the things you learned as well?” Ochaco said while rubbing her chin in thought. Before she could say anything else, the both of you reached your classroom.
“Oh. My. God.” You said quietly as you abruptly stopped in the classroom doorway with wide eyes, Ochaco squeaking as she ran into your back. You could hear her mumbling, but didn’t pay any attention to her as the sight in front of you had your full attention. Eijirou and Hanta were both laughing and pointing at Katsuki who had an… interesting hairdo
Katsuki heard the quiet words, immediately darting his eyes towards you. His eyes widened and he tensed at the look in your eyes, “Don’t.”
“Katsuki…” You fought back a smile as you slowly made your way to where he was standing with Eijirou and Hanta. The closer you got, the more tense he became. He knew exactly what you were going to say.
He glared at you and crossed his arms, “Y/n…” Seeing the gradually growing blush on his cheeks, you had the sense that he wasn’t actually going to be mad. Even if his form was posed as if he was getting ready to take down a villain.
“You look so handsome, Suki!” you squealed as you finally made your way to him. You immediately clung to him and continued cooing at him. He mumbled to himself as he glared at you with flushed cheeks all the while you grinned up at him.
Katsuki scoffed as he half-heartedly tried to pry you off of him, “Stop it, Y/n. It’s not funny.” Ignoring him, you chose to reach up and pinch his still red cheeks. This caused Hanta and Eijirou to start laughing once more.
“Holy crap! What the heck, Bakugou?” Both Eijirou and Hanta exclaimed as they tried and failed to hold back their laughter. Holding back your snort at their antics, you gripped Katsuki’s arm even tighter.
Katsuki glared at the two as his body shook with all the rage he tried to hold back, “Stop laughing! My hair’s gotten used to this and I can’t get it back the right way.”  The way two of his friends were still dying at his appearance, he almost blew up on them. “Did you not hear me? I’ll kill you both.”
“Ignore them, Katsu! I think you look gorgeous!” You giggled up at him, hearts in your eyes. The explosion-quirk boy couldn’t even look you in the eyes, too embarrassed to have you seeing him like this.
You couldn’t believe your eyes. Katsuki’s already red face was turning even darker. How was that even possible? “Shut up! I’m not gorgeous! You are!” As if realizing the words he had uttered, he scoffed and tried even harder to pry your clinging form from him.
His words had your heart pounding in your chest. He thought you were gorgeous?! Feeling your own cheeks become hot, you subtly patted them with the hand that wasn’t holding onto Katsuki.
“I’d like to see you try, pretty boy,” Hanta playfully said which caused Eijirou to guffaw even more. You couldn’t hold back the snicker that left you, innocently looking up at the raging boy beside you, as if you hadn’t found it funny.
Having had enough of everything happening, Katsuki blew up on the two, “What’d you call me?!” His arm had immediately wrapped around your waist, holding you close so you wouldn’t be knocked down from the force of his yelling. While you were slightly annoying him with your teasing (he secretly loved it), he didn’t want you to get hurt. He never wanted you to get hurt.
“Hey, there it goes!” Both Hanta and Eijirou cried out as they still couldn’t stop laughing. You expected Katsuki to release your body as he yelled at his teasing friends, but instead he just held you closer to him. The feeling of his fingers gripping your waist caused your breath to catch in your throat.
Their little dispute went on for another minute before Hanta and Eijirou left to catch up with everyone else and learn about their internships. Once they were gone, Katsuki finally looked down at you, still not noticing his arm currently wrapped around your waist.
“You okay, dumbass?” He mumbled as he glanced all over your face, making sure he hadn’t hurt you. He would hate himself if he was the cause of your pain.
Gulping, you shyly nodded at one of your best friends, “Yeah, I’m good. You didn’t hurt me or anything.” You could both see and feel his body relax as your reassurance washed over him. “Um…” You trailed off, as you rubbed your nape in slight embarrassment, hoping he couldn’t hear your pounding heart.
“What is it?” Katsuki scoffed at your expression. “What’s wrong with your face?” Instead of saying anything, your eyes glanced down at where his arm was still placed around you. Getting the hint, the ash-blonde slowly moved his gaze to where you were staring at.
His eyes widened with shock, cheeks once more flushing with heat. He immediately let go of you with a scoff, “Forget everything that just happened.” Though it was said as a threat, both you and him knew he didn’t mean it. He was just embarrassed from having been caught holding onto you like a boyfriend would.
The ash-blonde’s shoulders were hunched as if he was trying to hide away from everyone. As he stalked to his assigned seat, you couldn’t help but giggle quietly to yourself. Allowing yourself to glance one last time at Katsuki, you smiled and turned to head towards the other girls. They were all standing around Ochaco’s desk discussing what happened at their internships. Right as you were about to explain your own experiences, Katsuki’s loud voice rang throughout the classroom.
“Shut up, Shitty Hair!” He yelled, standing up from his seat with his heated palms flat on his desk as he glared over at the red-haired boy. “I don’t like-” He cut himself off once he saw everyone staring at him in silence.
Katsuki glared and scoffed at everyone, telling them to “mind their own damn business” before his eyes met yours. Seeing you stare at him with confusion, your head tilted in a cute way, had him shrinking in his seat while covering his cheeks. He hoped you hadn’t noticed how his normally pale cheeks were a burning mess. He tried to discreetly glance at you one last time, but his gaze met yours. The shy smile on your face paired with adoration-filled eyes had him shyly smiling back before he turned back to Eijirou to continue his ranting.

Tumblr media
It was hard to keep your eyes open. You blinked rapidly, trying to stand back up, but your body was aching. Blood trickled down your chin and onto your Shirt. With a grunt, you pressed a hand onto the wound on your side, where the damn cupcake had bitten you. You slowly looked up, your eyes focusing on Mike's unconscious body a few Meters in front of you. Abby was sitting beside him, tears in her eyes, while she tried to shake him awake. Her head shot up, as she realized that you were crawling towards them.
“Abby..”, You uttered under your breath, reaching your hand out for the little girl,”The drawings…you n-need to show them…”
With the little strength you had left, you finally reached the two of them. Abby hastily grabbed your arm, pulling you closer to her and Mike.
“You gotta show them..”, you repeated quietly. Abby gave you a firm nod before you saw her taking off to rip an old sign off of a Vending Machine. She quickly found a pencil and started drawing away.
You eventually tore your eyes away from her, over to Vanessa. She had tried to fend off Afton as long as possible, but he had her backed against a wall. Only now you saw the knife still stuck in Vanessa’s stomach. A visible gasp left your lips, as Afton pulled it out forcefully and Vanessa fell to the ground.
A chill ran down your spine and fear struck your body, as Afton turned around, a creepy smile on his face. He looked way too happy, considering that he had just stabbed his own daughter. He was about to make his way over to you and Mike, who finally seemed to wake up again. But all your attention was caught by Abby, who seemingly finished her drawing and was about to pin it on the wall. Afton could only watch in horror how she ripped the previous picture off and pinned her own onto the wall. It showed a yellow Bunny with a knife in hand, attacking and killing the children.
A few seconds of silence arose, before the entire building started shaking, like an earthquake had struck it. The lights started flickering violently and you saw that the Animatronics all turned their heads towards Afton.
“Abby?!”, You yelled and the little girl promptly came running towards you,”Help Mike to stand up.”She quickly nodded and helped her older brother to his feet, while you snuck over to Vanessa. Ignoring your own wounds, You took hold of her arm and pulled her to her feet. You saw that she was slipping in and out of consciousness.
“Come on, Vanessa. Don’t die on me.”, You mumbled while you carried her towards the Exit, where Mike and Abby were already waiting. A few seconds later, the four of you slumped to the ground in front of the Pizza-Plex, which was completely crashing down at the moment. If you had been a few seconds slower, you would be laying under all of that rubble right now.
It took you a bit to tear your eyes away from the building. Only now, you noticed that your entire shirt and hands were soaked in blood…Vanessa’s blood.
“Mike..”, You mumbled, looking up to your boyfriend,”Please tell me that your phone is still working.”
Tumblr media
The penetrative noise of your alarm slowly made its way into your brain, as you lazily opened your eyes. You raised a hand to quickly push some buttons on the clock, effectively shutting it up. The few seconds of silence that followed, were like music to your ears. But then, a groan next to you pulled you back into reality. You felt a shuffling under the sheets and soon enough, big warm hands wandered over your body, taking a hold of your waist and pulling you closer.
A smile spread over your face, as you felt Mike nuzzle his head into the crook of your neck, while he tangled his legs with yours.
“Hey there, sleepyhead.”, you chuckled, your hand now gently running through Mike’s hair. He only hummed in delight, choosing to spend a few more minutes in comfortable silence, just enjoying each other's presence.
“We should visit Vanessa in the Hospital today.”, You proposed, looking down at your boyfriend. Only now, he finally opened his eyes, searching for your own. When he found them, he gave you a smile and a firm nod, before leaning up to softly kiss your temple:”Sounds good.”
“Just a few more minutes..”, You mumbled, closing your eyes again.
You tried to concentrate on Mike’s hands, holding you close. His warmth, that was invading you. You put your entire focus on him, trying not to think of what you had dreamt about. Or rather, the memories that came back to you in your dream.
The horrific night at the Pizza-Plex. Mike’s unconscious Body, Vanessa’s blood on your hands. You tried not to think about it too much, but the fact that Vanessa was still in the Hospital and hadn’t woken up yet, made you incredibly nervous. What if she didn’t wake up again? What if it was your fault? That she gave her life to save you and you could do nothing to repay her.
“What’s going on in that pretty head of yours?”
The sound of Mike’s raspy voice successfully pulled you out of your spiraling thoughts and you looked back down at him. Almost immediately, a smile appeared on your lips, as you saw his face.
“Oh you know, just what we should eat for Dinner today.”, You joked,”Do you think Abby will want Spaghetti again?”
Mike chuckled upon hearing your thoughts. He slightly parted from you, propping his head up on his arm:”She probably can’t decide again.”
“Probably."...", Mike smiled. He lifted a hand to gently push a strand of hair out of your face. You followed the movement of his hand, until it rested against your cheek. Only then, you looked up into his eyes. And what you saw almost made you tear up. Mike looked at you with so much passion and adoration, it made your heart clench.
“I love you.”, he mumbled, after a few seconds of silence, where you just looked at each other.
You couldn’t help yourself, Almost instantly, after those three words left his lips, you leaned forward, kissing him passionately. The two of you tumbled over, Mike now beneath you, while you sat on top of his hips. With a mutual chuckle, the two of you parted again. Your hands now rested on top of his chest and you could feel his heart beating rapidly.
Mike only looked at you for a second, before he gently grabbed your wrist, pulling your hand towards his lips to leave some delicate kisses on your skin.
You felt heat rising to your cheeks and you quickly looked away. But you couldn’t hide the grin on your face. It was so undeniably obvious how much you were in love with Mike. And he knew it.
“Let’s get up to make breakfast.”, Mike said with a smirk. He knew what he did to you, but he was at least kind enough to not say it out loud.
You nodded at his proposal and slowly lifted yourself from him, but before you could react, Mike grabbed your other hand, pushing you down on the bed, so that your roles were reversed now, with him on top of you.
“Got you”, Mike grinned, pinning your hands down on the sheets above you. You only gave him a playful huff, trying to free yourself, but his legs on either side of your hips didn’t leave any room for moving around.
“You know, there is a way to free yourself.”, Mike said, not able to hide the grin on his lips.
“And what would that be?”, You asked, faking to be not interested.
Mike quickly leaned down, whispering into your ear:”A kiss.”
A shiver ran down your spine, as he looked at you again. His eyes moved to your lips and he gave you a questioning look, like he was asking for permission. You nodded, almost unnoticeable. But Mike did in fact, notice it and it didn’t take him very long to connect your lips in a tender kiss. This one was different. It was oozing with emotions and both of you poured everything that you had into it.
When you parted a few moments later, the two of you were panting against each other's lips, enjoying the aftereffects of the kiss.
“Let’s get up now, hm?”, You mumbled, gently stroking Mike’s cheek to pull him out of his haze. He gave you a small nod and slowly stood up, pulling you along with him.
“Do you think Abby is awake already?”, You asked curiously, while the two of you started to get dressed.
Mike only chuckled at your question:”I’m betting on it.”
“Sure.”, You smirked,”Whoever loses, has to buy dinner.”
“Deal”, Mike smiled.
Secretly, you knew that you would lose. But it made your heart bloom with joy, when you saw the expression on Mike’s face when he realized he won. You’d pay a million meals, if it meant you could keep seeing his smile.

hiii can you write something w Aaron where maybe he has a soft spot for Reader?
hi hi! i hope you enjoy this one and thank you for the request! x
***
The small town in Kansas is colder than you’d anticipated.
The precinct isn’t helping either. It’s cold inside the building, which surprises you because it’s nearly the same temperature outside. You’re already off to a bad start in your day because your favorite jacket to bring on work trips is hanging in the motel closet.
Half of the team is gathered around the white board that has the names and photos of victims and possible suspects. Aaron, Dave, and Emily are already inside when you approach and you waste no time in formalities before diving into the conversation while the rest of the team are in the field.
An hour goes by and your best efforts aren’t enough to keep you warm. The burnt coffee isn’t helping your shivers and neither is constantly pacing around the room. Emily and Dave step out for a momentary break when Aaron sees you rub your arms as you look at reports from where you’re seated.
“Cold?” Aaron asks.
“A little,” you confess with a shrug. “Nothing I can’t handle.”
“Where’s your jacket?”
“I left it in the motel because I was running late,” you sigh, flipping through a multitude of reports.
He doesn’t hesitate when taking off his quarter zip pullover and you’re more than shocked when he hands it to you.
“Sir, I can’t take your sweater.”
“You’re freezing,” Aaron says, his voice laced with concern.
“You’ll be cold, though,” you say with a frown. Aaron chuckles and gestures at the pullover in his hands. He watches as your nimble fingers grasp the fabric.
“I’ll be fine. You look like you need it more than I do.”
You try not to blush as you tug the sweater over your head. The fabric is warm and you nearly melt when you think about how it smells exactly like Aaron. He gives you a once over, a smile adorning his face when he sees that you’re much warmer than you were when you walked into the precinct.
Emily and Dave come back a few minutes later with coffee for the entire room. Both of them look between the two of you, and you’ve made yourself busy with looking through police reports to notice Aaron trying his best to divert their attention from you and back to the case at hand.
Hours later, the team has regrouped at the latest crime scene to examine a lead that you had caught during your examination of police reports. Spencer’s the first to ask you if you’re wearing Aaron’s sweater and you’re bashful enough to answer. Derek hides a laugh that Aaron isn’t all too appreciative of.
“Jesus, my hands are so cold,” you mutter to yourself. Aaron’s ears perk up and when he looks at you, you look as though you might fall from exhaustion. “I’m not built for this type of weather.”
“Why don’t we wrap up and get some coffee,” JJ suggests. “I saw a place up the road I wanted to try.”
“We should probably get back to the precinct to finish the profile,” Aaron says.
“Please?” you ask, rubbing your hands together. “We could use the break and the extra energy.”
Aaron looks at you and relents.
“Let’s finish up and get some coffee.”
There’s a collective hum of agreement from the rest of the team and it urges all of you to finish the task at hand as quickly as possible. Derek nudges your arm with his elbow and you shoot him a quizzical look, but he just laughs.
JJ leads all of you to the quaint coffee shop that smells like pumpkin spice and feels like a warm embrace. Everyone takes turns ordering and paying for their coffee, and you can’t help but salivate at the thought of sipping on a quality latte when all you’ve had is burnt coffee from the precinct. You’re about to pay for your latte when Aaron hands his credit card to the barista and orders a black coffee.
Emily and JJ are giggling like schoolgirls and Dave doesn’t hide his amusement. You’re somewhat in awe of this kind gesture and tell Aaron that you’ll pay him back, but he brushes you off and he tells you that it’s not a problem.
“Aaron,” you say pointedly, “seriously. Let me at least return the favor.”
He looks at you fondly and doesn’t correct you when you forego the formal names everyone’s been calling him. Instead, he looks at you with what almost seems like adoration when you say his name.
“When we get back.” The barista hands Aaron his coffee and he breaks his gaze. Emily snorts and Aaron pretends like his coworkers hadn’t caught him paying for your coffee. Your name is called last and you walk to the pick-up counter while Aaron rejoins the group.
“What, can’t afford to buy a coffee for all of us?” Dave muses.
“No,” is all he says because you’re walking back towards the group and Aaron feels like his cheeks might be a little too red.
When the case ends, it’s eleven in the morning and all of you elect to fly back to Quantico the moment the jet is ready. You thank your lucky stars and text your cousin that you’re, for once, available to meet for dinner that night while he’s in town.
You keep yourself busy with an extra book you’ve packed. The chatter on the jet is muffled by the sound of the aircraft and when Aaron walks to the kitchenette to make himself a cup of coffee, he asks you if you want anything.
“Can you make me a cup of tea?” Emily asks from in front of you.
“You know where the tea bags are,” Aaron says before turning around to get you a bottle of water that you’d asked for.
“Aaron whipped for you,” she says when he’s out of earshot.
“I don’t know about that,” you say. “He’s my boss.”
“Your boss who’s whipped,” Derek interjects. “Come on, sweetness. Giving you his jacket and buying you coffee? You don’t see him doing that for any of us, do you?”
“Look, this pathetic little crush I have on him will die down soon and you guys don’t have to tease me for it,” you whisper, afraid that Aaron might be standing behind you. “Besides, it’s inappropriate.”
“Oh, honey, we aren’t teasing,” Emily relents. “We’re stating the facts.”
“You of all people know that Aaron can bend a few rules,” Derek says. “I mean, look at Rossi.”
You sneak a glance at the man who sits adjacent to you and he winks.
“Not you too,” you groan.
Aaron returns momentarily and you thank him for the water. You’re grateful that neither Derek nor Emily have decided to tease the two of you as Aaron takes a seat beside you, and you do your best to focus on the book in front of you.
The jet lands mid-afternoon and your go-bag is tucked away in a drawer in your desk when Penelope greets you with a bone crushing embrace. She smells of vanilla and sweet flowers, and you realize that you’ve missed her bubbly presence after being stuck in a small town for a week and a half.
“God, I missed you guys,” Penelope says, moving from you to Emily, who walked in after you did. “Are you still going out with Adam tonight?”
“That’s the plan,” you say with a pleasant smile. “He’s picking me up in a few hours so I’m gonna try my best to not look like a zombie that came back to life.”
“Are you guys still going to that Italian place near your apartment?” Emily chimes in, leaning against your desk. “God, I’ve wanted to eat there for ages.”
“Hell yes,” you say with vigor. “He offered to pay so who am I to say no to free dinner?”
“I miss Adam,” Penelope says while dramatically fanning her face. “I will never forget when he took us to a cocktail bar and paid the bill like it was nothing. That is a man.”
“Who’s Adam?” Aaron says from behind you.
“A hunk of a man,” Penelope responds, almost as if she’s stuck in a daydream.
He remains quiet for a moment.
“I hope you enjoy dinner,” Aaron says before beelining for his office.
“Uh-oh,” JJ speaks. “I think Hotch might be a little jealous.”
“Jealous?” you ask. “Of my cousin?”
“I get the feeling that he doesn’t know Adam’s your cousin,” says Emily. “You should probably go in there.”
“And do what, Em? I’m gonna embarrass myself by explaining that Adam’s my cousin because Hotch probably doesn’t care that I’m going out with someone.”
“Girl, you are absolutely delusional,” Penelope chides. She gives your shoulder a nudge with her own. “He practically threw a fit just now. Hotch likes you and the only person who doesn’t know that is you.”
You sputter. “No he doesn’t.”
“Tell that to the man who’s brooding in his office because you’re going on a date tonight,” JJ points out.
“It’s not a date.”
“Again, Hotch doesn’t know that.”
You’re so wrapped up in the thought that Aaron might feel the same that you don’t register your feet carrying you into his office. You knock once with your heart thumping in your chest and his voice beckons you inside.
“Y/N,” he says. “Can I help you?”
“Do you want to get coffee with me this weekend?” you blurt out. “I still owe you a cup.”
“I don’t think that’s appropriate,” Aaron says. Your heart sinks and you’re wondering if you still have a job tomorrow.
“Oh.”
Your voice is small and you hide behind the false confidence you had from when you walked into his room. Aaron’s standing by his cabinets, filing away reports, when he turns to look at you.
“I just mean,” he begins. Aaron stops himself and you watch him shift his balance on either leg. “It would be inappropriate to take you up on coffee when you have a date tonight.”
“I’m not going on a date, Aaron.”
He raises his eyebrows in confusion. “You’re not?”
“No,” you say quietly, taking a step towards him. “Adam’s my cousin. He moved to the west coast a few months ago and I don’t get to see him as often as we used to, but he’s in town this week.”
“And you’re meeting up with him,” Aaron remarks slowly as if he’s piecing what you’re saying together.
“Exactly,” you say. “Besides, I’d really like to get coffee with you.”
Aaron’s gaze is fixed on you.
“Yeah?” You nod, biting your lip out of habit.
“Yeah. How does Saturday morning sound?”
“I can do Saturday morning,” Aaron replies.
“It’s a date.”
You leave his office with a lovesick grin on your face that Derek’s the first one to call you out for and from what you can see through his half-closed blinds, Aaron’s wearing the same look on his face.

Ever since the move to LA, the shitty rental Billy had paid for was getting on Eddie's last nerve. Not because it was constantly too hot inside and too cold outside, not because of the lack of air conditioning, not because of the thin ass walls and not because of the way the sun never seemed to set enough that it wouldn't peak under his curtains when he was trying to sleep. The thing about the house in LA that got on his nerves the most was the fact that he couldn't escape you.
It wasn't that Eddie didn't like you - it was quite the opposite in that matter. Eddie really liked you, but it just seemed like you didn't like him, at least not anymore. Back in Pittsburgh, you and Eddie had been the best of friends, and you still were, but since you'd all moved into the same house, he'd noticed something; you never touched him.
Plenty of times had he seen you wrapped in a tight hug with Karen, her head atop your own as you hid your face in her shoulder, with one hand on the small of Camilla's back and the other holding her own as you danced around the kitchen together, Graham's legs intertwined with yours as you shared a blanket when the widows were wide open late at night - fuck, he'd even seen you tucked under Billy's arm with one arm wrapped around his waist as you made small talk.
But the worst was every time he saw you with Warren.
You were always together, seemingly inseparable in the way he thought the two of you had been back in Pittsburgh and it hurt. Everywhere he looked, if you weren't touching someone else, you were touching Warren. Holding his hand as you walked through the house or with his head in your lap (or yours in his) on the couch as you watched some shitty rerun, his arms wrapped around your waist as he held you from behind as the two of you stood together, his hands pulling you close to him as you cuddled up in his lap late at night in the living room, your hands in his hair as the two of you shared a blunt, or three, on the porch late at night. He couldn't escape it or the thought that that should be him.
Eddie longed to be close to you in a way you didn't seem to want with him. Boy, if only he knew how wrong he was.
In all the years you'd known Eddie, he hadn't been one for touchiness. If your hand brushed his he'd always been quick to pull it away, or if you reached for a hug he turned it into a quick side hug then carried in with whatever he was doing. As far as you were concerned, you were just respecting Eddie's wishes to be left alone.
Warren was happy to fill the needed affection you often sought out. He, himself, was quite the lover - always one to take a cuddle and hold onto a hug for way longer then most would deem appropriate - which was exactly what you needed. The two of you had spent many nights in bed together in LA just for the company of it, and not that you didn't like it, you just wished it was with someone else, instead.
"You coming to bed, sweet girl?" Warren asked with a tired drawl to his words, extending a hand out to you while the other held the remainder of his joint to his lips.
"In a little." You hummed back, taking a hit out the joint he offered out to you, the joint being held to your lips by Warren instead of taking it into your own hands. "I'm not tired enough to sleep."
Warren pulled the joint back to his lips, his other hand coming to brush your hair out of your eyes and behind your ear, his hand resting against your hair and keeping you tucked in the crook of his neck. "You want me to wait up with you? Or you can come keep my company? I'll put on some Fleetwood Mac, it'll help you sleep, baby girl."
That was another thing that had Eddie seething. The constant nicknames you let the others call you. Back in Pittsburgh, Eddie was the only one who'd ever called you anything but your name, and now he was the only one who didn't. Karen called you sweet-pea, Camilla called you sunshine as did Graham and even Billy, but Warren? Warren called you whatever he liked; sweet girl, baby girl, baby, doll, his.
"No, it's okay Warren, you go to bed." Warren scooped you up in his arms, placing you down in the spot next to Graham who had already opened up his blanket for you, then pressed a kiss to your cheek. "I'll leave the door open for you."
You let your head fall to Graham's shoulder, who pulled his arm out from between the two of you and wrapped it over the back of the sofa. He allowed you to tangle your legs up in his pyjama covered ones, making sure you were comfortable before he turned his attention back to the tv screen.
"You and Warren are sleeping together?" Karen had been the one brave enough to ask, the conversation between the two of you not unnoticed by the rest of the group - it being the only thing to break the silence in the past 40 minutes.
All heads turned to you, attention suddenly on something that had the potential to be more interesting then the rerun of Scooby-doo that had just started. "Not like that." You answered softly, eyes still focused on the cartoon dog and his gang on friends, not noticing how everyone else was now looking at you. "We both just like the company of it. I don't think either of us realised how lonely it would be coming out to LA."
"Cute." Camilla mused, a warm smile curling on her lips as she took in that even in your sleep you were reaching out for the touch and warmth of someone else.
"You're always welcome in my bed, sweet-pea." Karen added, a smile curling on her own lips as she managed to take your attention away from the tv. "I swear you run cold. Would be nice in the LA heat."
"You can't steal my blanket buddy." Graham gasped, pulling you tighter against him and furiously tucking the blanket around the two of you. "She's the perfect amount of cold. The windows open, with the blanket, with y/n is the perfect temperature for me."
"I'm going to have to pass on that one Karen, unless you want to come down to my room." You countered her offer with a soft smile, attention moving back to the tv once more. "Warren says your room is haunted."
Laughter spread through out the room as you sided with Warren even in his absence; he was so sweet to you, and that's what friends do, so how could you not?
"What?" You asked, laughing yourself. "We left it empty until your arrival for a reason." That caused another round of laughter to break out in the room, save for Eddie who's brow tightened at the way everyone laughed at you, looked at you. If he hadn't been so caught up in his own angst, then maybe he would've noticed the way you spared a concerned glance his way.
A particularly loud shout of "scoob!" from the TV had everyone's attention turned back to the cartoon, everyone except yours, your eyes, laced with concern, lingering on Eddie. Something was going on and you were going to get to the bottom of it without doubt.
By the end of the episode, only you, Graham and Eddie remained in the room. Graham was fast asleep, his head leaning against yours making you trapped in his hold, and Eddie was sat in the armchair against the wall, legs curled into the seat and a bottle of warm beer in his hands that he'd been nursing for the last half an hour.
As the intro to the next rerun of Scooby-doo blasted from the TV, Graham startled awake, literally jumping out of his seat and pulling the blanket with him. He grumbled some attempt at what you thought was a goodnight, and stumbled sleepily out of the room, the warmth of him and the blanket leaving you alone on the couch.
Eddie stood, though with more awareness then Graham and turned to you with a tight lipped smile. Before you could ask him to stay a while, not wanting to be alone when you were still not ready to go bed with Warren, he turned for the kitchen, coming with back two new, cold beers in hand. He held one out for you, then almost jumped away in shock when you grabbed his wrist instead of the bottle. You quickly pulled your hand away from his, chiding yourself for forgetting Eddie didn't like to be touched, and curling into yourself. "Sit with me? Please?"
Eddie could never say no to you. So, he sat down on the couch, though made sure to keep a good bit of distance between the two of you, then handed your your beer, watching as you took a quick swig of the cold liquid.
"So, you and Warren?" Eddie couldn't help himself from asking, even though Karen had only an hour ago, too caught up in the fact it wasn't him to take notice of the sweet, friendly, moment you and Warren had shared earlier.
"Not like that, I already told you guys."
"You sure?" Eddie asked again, and though he had a teasing lilt to his words, you could feel a sense of something more behind them - some kind of worry, or something, you weren't entirely sure.
"Positive. He's just a friend." Taking another swig of your ice cold beer, you remained focused on the tv, really enjoying the antics of Scooby-doo and mystery inc in your effort to fall asleep.
"Really?" Eddie asked, his teasing tone coming off more in a way of disbelief now. "Cause he asked you to 'come to bed'."
"I sleep in Warren's bed most nights." You explained, coming clean for the first time about how often you actually found yourself in the curly-haired, brunettes bed. "We both like the company."
"And how did that start?" Eddie's asked, one arm stretching out over the back of the sofa in your direction. Though he wouldn't admit it to himself, he was slowly testing the waters of how close he could get to you, see if he, himself, was the reason you never touched him or if it was something else entirely.
"We were both out smoking late, then it got cold. Warren suggested we move it inside, and I reminded him of how Cami said she hates it when the living room stinks of shit." You paused, taking another sip from your beer, your fingers running across the droplets of water that were forming across the outside of the glass bottle. "Warren offered we go to his room so my room wouldn't get cold when we opened the window. We both fell asleep and ended up all tangled together the next morning. Neither of us wanted to get up cause we were too comfy, so I promised him I'd come back the next night if we got out of bed and got to practice. Now it's just become routine."
Though you'd given a pretty concise and accurate explanation of your relationship with Warren, Eddie was certain there was something more, something that made you act like that with Warren and not him, some kind of feelings or something that made it different.
"Yeah, but I think we all thought you guys were together before tonight." Eddie continued, your gaze breaking away from the tv just for a moment to meet his eyes. You'd never thought anyone thought you and Warren were together because of the way you acted - otherwise people would've thought you were dating everyone in the band. "Y'know, with all the times he's holding your hand, or your sat in his lap, giving him a hug. It just looks like you're together - are you sure you aren't?"
"I'm like that with everyone." You dismissed, eyes unmoving from the TV, worried that if you looked at Eddie you'd see something you didn't want to - disgust, repulsion, or some other kind of thing that told you he thought you were weird. Though, when push came to shove, you knew you wouldn't care what Eddie thought - whatever you and Warren had made it that much easier to be in LA, and you couldn't be more grateful for it.
"Not with me." He whispered, sipping from the cool beer that he had held against his lips, eyes moving away from your figure and back to the tv with a huff.
"What did you say?" You asked, warmth and all together y/n-ness dropping from your face as your turned your entire body to face him, your knees now bent up on the couch.
Eddie was done acting like he didn't care. If things went bad tonight it gave him just another reason to add to the list of why he hated the band and this stupid house. He had a bone to pick and he wasn't going to back down now he had the ample opportunity to speak out about it. "I said, not with me."
Eddie didn't give you the chance to cut in edge way with an explanation or an apology - though he didn't know exactly what would leave your mouth. He'd never really considered what was going on in your head about not touching him - only really focused on the fact that, once again, he seemed to be the one left out.
"You get all cuddly and shit with everyone else except me. Your always hugging Karen or Camilla, snuggled up with Graham, don't even get me started on how you're all over Warren and Billy - even Billy - you've hugged him more times here in LA then I think we've talked!"
"No I haven't." Your words came out in a whisper, suddenly unsure of everything that had happened in the past few months since you'd moved to LA. "You're my best friend Ed's, i don't ignore you, don't say that."
"That's not my point." Eddie let out a sigh, calming down immediately as he took notice of the way you moved further into the arm of the couch when he raised his voice a little. Taking a second to compose himself, he ran a hand over his face, placing down his beer on the coffee table in front of you two. "It seems like you want to, y'know, do all that with everyone but me. And I guess, what I'm trying to say is - why not me? Did I do something?"
Your heart broke at the crestfallen look of Eddie's face. "I thought you didn't like to be touched." You murmured, beginning to think you'd read into his actions a little too much - maybe he just needed the time to warm up to you touching him first - you'd never considered he'd feel left out by what you thought was what he wanted. "Whenever I've tried to touch you, you've brushed me off. I just figured that was you way of being nice about it, y'know, letting me down gently or whatever. I didn't think-"
You paused, reflecting on when the last time you'd even tried to touch Eddie had been, when the last time you'd called him Ed's had been, when the last time you'd held a conversation with him that wasn't in a group setting had been. "I don't know what I thought."
Your arms were wrapped around your knees, holding them close to your chest as you rested your chin on them, looking up at Eddie woefully. "I'm sorry, Eddie. I never meant to make you feel that way."
"Birdie..." He almost, whimpered, wanting to reach out for a hug but not knowing where to begin. How could he? He couldn't remember the last time someone had given him one. What if he did it wrong?
Standing from your seat, remote in hand, you flicked the TV off, quickly placing it down beside Eddies abandoned bottle. You offered your open hand out to him.
Eddie cautiously took it, your hands cupping each others and Eddie letting your thumb run over the flesh of his knuckles. You pulled Eddie behind you, careful not to move too quickly as to let his hand slip from yours, or to wake anyone else up. In a way, it felt wrong to be doing this with someone who wasn't Warren, in another, you'd never been more excited for anything.
Leading Eddie into your room, you urged him to get into your bed, closing the door gently behind you. Turning around, you were surprised to see him stood staring at you in confusion.
"I mean, I would've settled for hug or something - I'm not complaining, don't get me wrong." He rushed out his words as he spoke, trying to convey all his feelings on the matter before he could hurt your feelings in any capacity. "I'm just- I didn't say what I said to try and replace whatever you and Warren have, I'm not, I'm not that kind of guy. At least, I don't want to be."
"I already told you." You whispered, reaching out for his hand again as you crossed the room to meet him. "Just friends. Besides." You pulled him with you into the bed, pulling the duvet up from where it'd been kicked off the bed and onto the floor the last time you and Warren had stayed in here, and over the two of you. "No one I'd rather share it with."
Eddie froze for a moment, not quite believing the words that had just graced his ears. Turning on his side to face you, he found you already looking at him, one of your hands reaching out for his under the covers and intertwining your fingers. "Really? No one else?"
"No one else." You confirmed, shuffling closer to Eddie as you whispered your answer into the darkness of the room. "I love Warren, but sometimes it's an absolute fight sleeping in a bed with him."
"Yeah?" Eddie giggled, giggled, completely flustered by the new and close proximity the two of you were sharing.
"Yeah." You answered, slipping one of your legs between Eddie's and putting the other atop him own, pulling the two of you even closer together. Now pressed chest to chest, there was nowhere to look except the others eyes. "He kicks, he scratches and by God does he snore. Keeps me nice and warm though. Brings good company."
"I can be good company." Eddie proposed, an unsaid question lingering the words shared just between the two of you.
"I bet you can, Ed's." You answered, eyes flickering between his and his lips, catching him doing the same when you tried to meet his eyes again.
Eddie pressed his lips to yours in a featherlight kiss, holding the kiss for a long while as he tried to express everything that had built up inside of him since the arrival to LA, and everything he'd already thought since high school. You snaked your arms up between the two of you, wrapping them around his neck and pulling him even closer to you, deepening the kiss as you did so. Eddie hummed into you, pulling away from the kiss only to lean back in, pressing a series of quick as chaste kisses to your lips.
No other words were said that night, you nuzzling into the crook Eddie's neck and Eddie resting his head atop yours - not without pressing a kiss to the crown of your head, however. The two of you fell asleep rather quickly, the late night catching up with you in the warmth of tangled limbs, a messily thrown on duvet and the LA heat. You slept right through the night till late the next morning, neither of you shifting away from the position you'd fallen asleep in, except to burrow further into the other every time one of you felt them pull away.
You would've slept for longer, in fact, curled into each other and dreaming about what would happen on nights going forward, if it weren't for the fact Warren came barging into the room with a loud cry of your name the following morning.
"Y/n!" He shouted, causing both you and Eddie to stir from your sleep, neither of you moving from the arms of the other despite his loud arrival. "I was worried sick! I woke up and you weren't here I thought you'd been kidnapped or something!"
Warren collapsed on top of you, wrapping his arms around you as tightly as he could given the barrier of the duvet. His sudden weight on top of you had your groaning in protest, however, it was Eddies voice that had Warren springing from his position and out of your bed.
Eddie never got the opportunity to ask Warren to get off of you, Warren running from the room with a cry of 'y/n slept with Eddie instead of me,' that gained the attention of everyone else in the house.
Neither you nor Eddie cared though, closing your eyes once more after you shared a quick, soft kiss, falling back asleep in the comfort of each others hold, something - you thought - that you should've been doing a long time ago.

Tumblr media
You watched Lucifer running through streets with your little girl. He reached out for her, spinning her around in the air before carefully setting her back down. Margot giggled as she chased him around. Her small legs trying to keep up with him, even though he was already running very slowly. You smiled softly, enjoying how sweet he was with her.
“Look at the princess go” He yells to you as your daughter runs around in her pink dress and converse.
“My turn to be chased” Margot giggled as Lucifer turned around and speed walked toward her. She laughed hard as she started running. She kept looking back at Lucifer making sure he was still chasing her.
However all was going a little too well. As she looked back a final time a small rock in the road became her demise. She tripped and landed straight down on her knees. You gasped as you quickly stood up as you ran toward them. Lucifer had already collapsed to the ground pulling Margot into his arms making sure that she was ok.
“It's ok baby” He cooed as she sobbed in his arms. She leaned her head against him as she began to cry harder. “Look.. there's mommy” He said as she lifted her chin up to look at you standing over her. You smile softly down at her as you watch her tears stream down.
“Let me look at your cut hun” You say, lowering yourself onto your knees. You realized that it was merely a scratch and she wasn't even bleeding. “It's ok baby” You whisper, taking a seat on the cement ground next to Lucifer. You grab her hand to hold as you lean your head against Lucifer's shoulder. He moves her legs onto yours so she's laying across you and Lucifer.
After about ten minutes she finally begins to settle down as she closes her eyes. You watch her sniffle as you let out a breath. Your eyes wandered over to Lucifer who was looking down at her sadly. He shook his head before pulling her closer into his chest laying a kiss on her temple. He was gripping her close, refusing to let go.
“We should probably put her to bed,” You suggest. Lucifer looks at you giving you a small smile before looking back at Margot. You could tell he felt bad and you knew he blamed himself. You could see it in his eyes.
“Do you wanna put her to sleep?” You asked him knowing that if he felt like a good father it could stop the sadness he was feeling. He nodded, picking her up in his arms and heading inside.
You picked up the blanket you had laid on the ground and the snacks you put out in case anyone had gotten hungry while you played outside. You cleaned up your room and took a shower as he took his time feeding her and putting her to sleep.
Sliding on your robe you looked up clutching your chest as you saw Lucifer laying in bed. “God.. I didn't realize you were in here already” You said breathing heavily walking toward the bed and laying down.
“Sorry my love” He said, planting a kiss on your lips as he moved the covers over your body.
“You ok?” You ask as he sighed. His eyes met yours again as he nodded, finally getting under the covers.
You moved your body closer to him. His arms wrapped around your waist slowly before suddenly clutching your body to his. You gasped as he moved your body as close to him as it could possibly be.
“I'm a bad father” He whimpered into your shoulder.
Your eyes widened as you moved his head from your shoulder. “What on earth are you talking about?” You questioned holding his face in your hands. “What would ever make you say that?
“She fell and could have died and it was all my fault” He replied frantically.
Your shoulders fell and you couldn't stop the giggle that left your lips. His eyes narrowed at you as you shut your mouth.
“Don't laugh at me” He pouted.
“Oh honey I'm not laughing at you.. I just think it's silly. You didn't almost kill her, she tripped over a rock and she wasn’t even bleeding” You said running your hands through his hair.
He forced his head onto your chest as he sniffled. “Oh baby” You said, realizing he was crying.
“I screwed up with Charlie and now I'm already screwing up with her” He cried.
You weren't sure where he had ever gotten the idea of being a bad dad. I mean of course when you first met Lucifer he was just starting to talk to his daughter again. He always wanted to be there for Charlie, he just didn't know how to be in her life as a father. However it was obvious Lilith had put some things in Charlie's head. Lucifer would never do anything to hurt her. He had always wanted to be in Charlie's life, Lilith  just didnt let him be in it.
“Baby, look at me,” You said. He never looked up, keeping his head on your chest. You repeat yourself more forcefully this time. He slowly made eye contact. His eyes were bloodshot as he stared at you.
“You never screwed up with Charlie and you most definitely haven't screwed up with our girl” You said. “All she got was a scratch that will probably be gone by the morning” You continued.
“I guess,” He murmured.
You sighed knowing that nothing you could say could change his mind. However you loved him with every fiber in your body and would try your hardest to convince him he was an amazing father.
You placed a kiss on his head as you rubbed your hands up and down his back.
“Even if you don’t believe it, you really are an amazing husband and father, there’s no one I'd rather be with” You said as you snuggled into him, closing your eyes. You inhaled his scent as he layed in your arms.
“I love you” You whisper as you close your eyes.
He mumbled an almost incoherent ‘love you too’ as you laid in the complete darkness of your shared room.

Winter Wonderland | KTH
Pair: Taehyung x F Reader
Summary: This Christmas, Taehyung and you venture back to his hometown, Daegu. Celebrating it with the whole family this time, you hoped to give Taehyung the best Christmas experience in a while. But he had something more special planned. Amidst the soft glow of festive lights and cosy moments, held the core of the magic.
Genre: Fluff, Idolxreader, established relationship au
WC: 2861
Tumblr media
You were grateful for the silence and peace you were experiencing as you loaded the luggage into the car. Taehyung had come home early a few days ago, running through the house like a kid who got a present, and told you that the both of you would be heading to Daegu to celebrate Christmas this year. Eomma and Appa had constantly been asking to see the both of you but due to Taehyung’s busy schedules, the both of you had kindly declined them for years.
Of course, you could go on your own but the last time that had happened, you got mobbed at the train station which caused Taehyung to pick up a huge fight with the company. He was determined to give you the security that he, the boys, and their partners got but the company was reluctant as you had not been introduced to the public yet.
The next few days that passed, Taehyung was constantly restless and wouldn’t let you out of the house. It took a lot of communication and patience between the both of you to finally get through that patch. Tae had insisted on introducing you to Army through Weverse Live. After that incident and busy schedules, the both of you hadn’t been able to make it to Eomma and Appa’s for Christmas.
This year, Taehyung took some time off work and you… you were currently in the process of opening a business with a close friend of yours. The idea has always sat in the depths of the basket of ideas but due to the high cost of capital, both of you were afraid to take that risk. Now, both of you having a bit higher stability in your financial terms, have finally decided to bite the towel and start.
Settling into the comfy leather of the car seat, you arranged the snack basket and drinks. Just as Taehyung opened the door and stepped in, you were already arranging the blanket you had brought along with you. Your luggage was placed in the boot while the smaller bags were in the back of the car seat. Taehyung and you had gone on a splurge the day after he told you that you were going back home. More like Taehyung. He stocked up multiple types of foods and clothes and every other thing that he wanted to give his parents and siblings.
It was a once-in-a-blue moon that the whole family would be together for a whole week, celebrating. So naturally, Tae had prepared… too many things. But you didn’t have the heart to tell your boyfriend that he was overdoing it. You knew how much he missed his family and you weren’t going to stop him.
On the contrary, you’d help him. Making signature dishes from your home country, you packed them into containers and placed them at the back of the car, ensuring that it was on a safe and stable platform.
“Ready?” Tae buckled in, a hand immediately going into the basket of food you had prepared to dig out something.
Smacking his hand, you handed him a roll of kimbap, saying, “Have this instead.”
Taking it from you, he kissed your forehead and drove off, wheels screeching against the coating of the road.
Tumblr media
Most of the road trip was filled with music softly playing in the background and munching. Tae was always hungry and you had finally managed to pack his favourite snacks, he was beyond overjoyed at eating them. Taehyung looked over to you, smiling as he found you curled up on the passenger seat.
Brows furrowing at the uncomfortable position, Taehyung leaned over to carefully recline the seat, one hand on the steering wheel. You fumbled and whined at the movement and Tae was quick to quiet you down, pulling the blanket higher to your neck. Your hair splayed across the seat and your lips were open, emitting a soft snore. Taehyung lowered further the volume of the music, hand coming to your hair and pushing a few stray strands out of your face.
He was playful once.
And it isn’t that he is no longer playful. No, Taehyung was still a menace in the house, whining and complaining for your attention - that much he knew. But he felt like he needed it. He felt like he needed to know where you were at, what you were doing, how you were doing. He wanted your attention - craved for it. But he also knew that you liked your space and own time. So he holds it in until every few hours when he would just randomly send you a selfie or update you on how practise is going.
You never take long to answer his text messages. You were quick to update him on how work was going as well. However, with you starting a business that was long planned with your friend, you weren’t home as often and when you were, you were always exhausted. It took to a level that Taehyung was worried for your health and mental well-being. He knew how important it was to you but he didn’t want you to overwork yourself.
So he asked - more like forced - the management to let him off for the whole week of Christmas. Then, when Eomma and Appa called to ask if you were coming for Christmas this year, Taehyung felt like he hit the jackpot.
You had never really explored Daegu before and he had always planned to take you there one day so that you could see where he grew up. He would show you all the beautiful places and delicious food, all the playgrounds and parks, schools and roads. He would show you his safest and most secretive places. So, he told Eomma that the both of you would be there a day in advance to help them prepare for the feast the next day.
Taehyung couldn’t help feeling excited.
As you mumbled in your sleep, he felt his lips tilt up into a soft smile. The roads were fairly empty this early in the morning so he placed a hand on your thigh and continued.
Tumblr media
The snowfall of the season was always a magical experience and it felt like the whole world had been transformed. Coming from a country with only one season, you were always beyond ecstatic to see snow. It never fails to amaze you with the chilliness and familiarity you feel. As you and Taehyung walk through the streets of Daegu, you observe the lights adorning the city. They seem to twinkle more at a certain angle but that could just very possibly be from your own excitement.
Having never explored Daegu well enough, you took every bit of this opportunity to absorb everything you see and hear. The last time you made this trip, you were alone and afraid. But this time, you were with your beloved, and you are determined to make this holiday a memorable one.
The both of you needed a break and this was just it - with all the festive feels and sparkling lights.
Going home with the groceries that the both of you freshly bought from the market, the both of you drove home. Eomma and Appa were up and bickering together with Taehyung’s siblings groggily drinking coffee and making kimchi. Most ingredients were already ready the night before.
“We’re home!” Taehyung yelled.
“Ah - In the kitchen!”
When you stepped in, you were bombarded with warmth.
Not a physical sense of warmth like a hug but rather, a growing feeling in your chest - similar to one where you would enjoy cuddling time with Tae on the couch. A sense of familial warmth. You must have stopped long enough that Taehyung put the groceries on the table and walked back to you. His eyes worried over your frame and his brows bunched up.
“Hey… You okay?” Tae gently took the bags from your hands, placing them on the table next to his. Following his movements, you stood beside him and wrapped your arms around his waist, snuggling face-first into his chest.
Tae’s hand came up to stroke your hair as you hugged him tighter.
“Need a break? We can skip kimchi making if you don’t feel well. I’m sure Eomma will understand.”
You shook your head. You wanted to have this experience with them. Eomma and Appa were kind enough to let you in on the family tradition and you weren’t going to spoil it.
“I’m okay, just… happy.”
Taehyung’s eyes drifted over your frame as he tried to explicitly find out what was wrong. But there was no lie in that sentence. You hadn’t felt this way in a long time and a nolgastic feeling just overcame you at that moment.
“It’s been a while since I’ve felt like this.” You tip-toed, bringing your hand up to ruffle his hair. “I’m okay. Promise.”
Taehyung was sceptical about your reasoning - you could see that. But you most certainly not going to let the feeling wash over you and ruin your day. It was barely nine in the morning and you were going to make this the best Christmas for Tae as possible.
Picking up a pair of gloves, you wore two layers and squatted down, starting to learn from Eomma how to make the perfect kimchi. In each city and each family, they all have what they depict as the perfect kimchi just like how different families have different perceptions of how perfect rice is cooked.
Tumblr media
As the sun began to set, the both of you stood on the balcony, staring out into the first snowfall. You watched as the snowflakes fell gently to the ground. Taehyung wrapped his arms around you and you leaned into his warm embrace. Passing you a cup of hot chocolate, you gratefully took it from his hands and blew.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” Tae whispered, his breath tickling the edge of your ear.
You nodded. “Perfect, just like you.”
Taehyung chuckled and pressed a soft kiss to your cheek. “Perfect, you say? I got something that might top this.”
“Oh yeah?” With your curiosity piqued you followed him into the living room.
You stepped back into the living room, seeing the beautifully decorated Christmas tree that stood proud at the edge, its ornaments glimmered with the holiday magic. The little bells rang as you glided your hand through the figs of the tree. The scent of cinnamon and chocolate filled the air as you saw the spread of cookies and drinks on the coffee table.
“Taehyung! It’s amazing!” You exclaimed, completely taking in the holiday atmosphere he had created.
His eyes sparkled under the dim glow of the shining star that was placed on top of the Christmas tree. “I thought we could have a little celebration tonight - just the both of us.”
“How about Eomma and Appa? And your siblings?” Growing up, your family never really celebrated Christmas but whenever you see families celebrating, they are joyful - together.
That was the key. It was a time when everybody partied and celebrated togetherness.
“They went out for some drinks. I told them I got something planned for the both of us.”
“But -”
Taehyung pulled on your arm. “Come on, Jagiya. It’s the twenty-fourth not the twenty-fifth. We’ll be spending all the time together tomorrow!”
You huffed. You wanted to celebrate it well this year after not being together for so long. Especially for Taehyung.
But he had a point. The both of you have the whole week to bond. So you sighed and caved in, climbing onto the sofa and cuddling with your bear. From little treats to shoving food competitively down your throats, to laughter and warm embraces, your evening was filled with the glow of the holiday.
The evening quickly turned to night, and with the snow, the darkness embraced you earlier. The both of you panted against the couch, tired from all the chasing you did around the house. The both of you had much to clean - you, for one, didn’t like to leave food out overnight and have the family come back to a messy house.
As the clock struck midnight, you had just finished cleaning the last of the bits and arranging the tables and chairs.
“Jagiya.” You heard Tae call you from the windows. “Come here.”
Turning around, you left the cloth on the glass top, walking over to your bear with outstretched arms. When the both of you touched, you instantly hugged him, hands dragging under his clothes, seeking his warmth.
Taehyung hissed at the coolness of your fingertips but didn’t pull away. Oh, he was soaking in your attention. The past few hours felt like heaven. He didn’t have much time to spend with you due to the nature of both your works. Sometimes when he was home, you weren’t; when he was asleep you were out doing your job. However, on certain occasions when the both of you are home, all the both of you think is ‘the bed’.
So today, the time you spent together made him feel alive again. Alive - in so many different ways. But Taehyung did not prepare this feast without another purpose. Primarily, he had hoped that you would let go and laugh again - play again.
To be a kid again.
To show you the love he has for you.
But at the same time, he had done this… so that he, could do this.
Leading you to the window the both of you looked out, seeing the snow creating a serene blanket of white. It had covered the majority of the roads and you knew that by the time daytime come, it would probably be deep enough to make snow angels.
“Make a wish on the first star you see,” Taehyung said, pointing to a bright star in the night sky.
You closed your eyes and made your wish. Finishing, you turned back to Taehyung and found him holding a small velvet box.
No. Way.
“Before we exchange gifts, there is something I need to ask you. I promise this isn’t the only gift I got you.” Taehyung laughed, eyes nervously skimming everywhere. Taking a deep breath, he looked at you, eyes filled with love and anticipation. Dropping on one knee, Taehyung opened the box and held it out to you.
Your heart pounded in your chest and you could barely contain your excitement. Sitting gently in the middle of the box was a delicate, sparkling ring.
“You’ve been through thick and thin with me - helped me. You had made me a better person than who I was. You taught me so many things and -” Taehyung rubbed his face with one hand. He sighed. “I’m not good with sticking to the script so, just - Y/N, will you marry me?”
Time felt like it stood still after Taehyung proposed to you. It was probably just a few seconds but -
It felt like your memories were flowing past you like a movie.
The first time you met, the first awkward date, the first kiss, first - everything…? You had so many things you wanted to tell him - so many ‘I love you’s to say.
Tears welled up in your eyes and you nodded vigorously. “Yes. Yes, yes, yes - Taehyung, oh my gosh, yes!”
The boxy smile that formed on his face felt brighter than the shine of the star on top of the Christmas tree. He slipped the ring onto your finger, sealing your engagement with a tender kiss.
You had hoped to plan the best Christmas for Taehyung but he most certainly, outdid you. And this magic was one that neither of you would ever forget.
Tumblr media
You awoke to the smell of delicious breakfast wafting through the open door. You wrapped yourself in the warm blanket - your only form of warmth right now - and made your way down, following your nose to the source of the mouthwatering scent.
Taehyung was standing at the island, expertly cutting a range of fruits while his brother flipped pancakes. The moment he heard you come in, he turned to you and grinned. “Good morning, fiancèe.”
You couldn’t help but blush at the term. It was something new and exciting. “Good morning husband-to-be.”
“Fiancée? Husband-to-be?” Jeon-Gyu pondered, turning to Taehyung. “So this was your plan last night, hyung?”
Jeon-Gyu carried an offending look on his face. “Hyung!”
Taeyhyung just ignored him and hugged you from the back. “There’s nothing wrong with needing you all out of the house when I proposed. It is a time for Y/N and I.”
“But hyung -”
“Plus,” Taehyung cut in. “I believe none of you would like to have heard what went down too.”
The silence was deafening. You stood rigid against Taehyung, cheeks flaring up.
“No - no, we most certainly wouldn’t.”
Taehyung whipped around.
Eomma, Appa, and Eun Jun stood at the threshold of the door to the kitchen. Eun Jun looked smug as if she knew what was coming while Eomma and Appa looked flustered, walking in on a situation.
Taehyung groaned in embarrassment against your shoulder as your cheeks burned an even deeper shade of red.

pearl white | kim hongjoong
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
word count: 473
request:
hello & congrats!!! <3
for the color fest: pearl white & fluff+hurt/comfort / forbidden love & hongjoong ^^
warnings: none!
author's note: thank you so much for requesting! i had fun with this one :] i apologize if this was a little too angsty dkfjalsdfa but once again thank you for your support!
"kim hongjoong, what are you doing here?!" you whisper-yell into the empty corridor before peeking your head out to look for anyone passing by before pulling the knight into your room.
"i just had to see you one last time." he answers solemnly and when he looked into your eyes you couldn't help but feel your heart break.
he was truly the one meant for you. not some snobby prince from god knows where but of course, you couldn't change your father's mind about the marriage. he was a stubborn man who was dead set on this marriage between the two kingdoms. hell, he would probably kill the both of you if he found out his most loyal knight was deeply in love with his only daughter.
that didn't stop you from loving hongjoong though. no one could.
"so that's the dress huh?" your forbidden lover asks pointing to the pearl white dress that was neatly hanging on your closet.
you hum in response, walking towards hongjoong as you wrap your hands around him. the soft cotton shirt that he wore brought you immense comfort as you tried your best to not think about what will happen tomorrow.
"i'm scared, joong." you whisper, clutching the fabric of his shirt.
hongjoong turns you around in his arms so your head could rest against his chest. "i know and i am too. but-" he stops, trying his best to not cry in the moment knowing that it'll scare you even more. "but i will still be there tomorrow. always."
"i want you though." you cry out, tears beginning to slip down your face as you bury your face into his chest, wrapping your arms even tighter around him.
"i know." hongjoong arms tighten around you too, thinking that the harder he hugged you, you wouldn't have to leave him and walk down that damn aisle in that pearl white dress with another man. "maybe in another life, right?"
countless of nights, hongjoong would sneak away into your chamber at the early hours of the morning while he was on "watch". you guys would joke around about how you guys were like starcrossed lovers from a terrible, cheesy drama. turns out the story of your life followed very similarly to that same terrible, cheesy drama.
"yeah." you sniff, daring to look up at him. "we really are starcrossed lovers huh."
a small chuckle comes out of hongjoong as he looks at you with glossy eyes. "yeah, we are. who would've thought."
maybe in another life, universe, or even galaxy, you could be together with kim hongjoong. he would be the one seeing you walk down the aisle with the same pearly white dress that sparkled in the sunlight.
but for now? you had this last tiny moment with hongjoong that you wish you could savor forever.

This Idiot of Mine
Tumblr media
Wordcount≈ 3.7k
Warnings: Minghao being a little mean to reader (teasing, calling her stupid & an idiot), performance unit + Jeonghan being bad boys, reader almost being hit by a car, reader being so oblivious it’s laughable, the bad boy gang making fun of some of the other members (teasing them,)
Pairing: Xu Minghao (The8) x afab! reader
Summary: The8 is one of the infamous bad boys of the school, (Y/n) is the infamous nerdy girl who is also very clumsy. Minghao has long since fallen in love with (Y/n) but he’s not the best at showing it, however one day when he is very frustrated he might just find the right way to show it.
Please reblog!
Tumblr media
Minghao’s POV
“Okay, but seriously. Seungkwan is such a dork, he’s funny but sometimes I just feel bad for the kid, he does so much just to be liked,” “Hyung, be nice to him. It’s not easy getting girls without a face like mine, or yours I guess,” Jun and Jeonghan were bickering back and forth, but I had tuned them out long ago. My eyes were fixated on a certain girl with (h/l) (h/c) who was sitting on the edge of the fountain in the middle of the little garden of the school. I had to keep my eyes on her as she sat there, knowing that she would fall into the water at any second. She wasn’t paying attention to the way she was moving around so freely as she spoke with Joshua… And just as I let out a sigh, the girl fell back into the water with a loud shriek. My friends began laughing at the scene but I quickly turned my head and glared at them making them shut up. They knew that I hated when anyone other than myself made fun of her. If it wasn’t obvious to you by now I’ll tell you. I’m in love with the dorky girl who just fell into the fountain, aka (Y/n). I stood up from my seat on the bench and began walking over to the girl who was still in the fountain because that annoying Joshua (who I don’t like just because he’s close with my (Y/n)) hadn’t stopped laughing to help her out. On my way over I took off my long coat, preparing to put it on her to cover her.
“Come here you idiot,” As I stopped in front of the fountain everyone stopped laughing, too intrigued at what I was doing and afraid of being glared at by me. (Y/n) just looked up at me as I held out a hand in front of her, I gave her a stern glare when she didn’t move causing her to gently grab my hand and thereby allowing me to pull her out of the fountain. I quickly threw my coat around her as the water had turned her shirt see-through. “Minghao,” “Shh, quiet. Come on,” She looked up at me with her cute innocent deer eyes, I held myself back from stealing a kiss from her adorable pouting lips by turning around and dragging her after me. “Minghao,” I just kept walking as she said my name. “Minghao, please, where are we going?” “To get you new clothes you idiot, you can’t wear these for the rest of the day, how could you be so stupid and sit on the edge of that damn fountain again?” “Well, I, it’s, it’s a nice spot to hang out at. It’s nice hearing the water so close by, I didn’t think I’d fall in again,” I just let out a sigh at her explanation. “Mm, and that gentleman was your best choice of company for that? If he really cared he should have stopped you from falling in, but he didn’t” “No, but it’s not his fault, he couldn’t have known it would happen,” But I did. I would have made sure you didn’t fall. I’m better than that dude. “Do you have new clothes in your locker?” “---” “(Y/n)? Answer me,” “No, I don’t. I know you told me last time to keep an extra set or two in my locker but I’ve used up both sets I had already and I haven’t put them back,” I abruptly stopped causing (Y/n) to walk into my back. I let out yet another sigh. “What am I going to do with you? Come on, let’s go to my locker, I should have some spare clothes in there,” We walked in silence to my locker which I opened before looking through it, finding only my gym bag inside that I knew had clean clothes in it but none I would allow (Y/n) to walk around in. “Hm, this is such a bother,” “I’m sorry Hao. I can just go home and skip the rest of my classes, thanks for trying to help me though,” (Y/n) turned about to leave before I reached out and grabbed her hand again, tugging her around so that she faced me. “Who said I wasn’t going to help you?” “I just-” “No. I’m not letting you skip. It’s not good for your grades. What I meant by bother is that I only have my gym clothes with me today but you can’t wear them because you’ll be too exposed, I work out in tank tops with low-cut sides so honestly your wet, see-through shirt would cover more than that. You can borrow some sweatpants I have but for the shirt you’re going to have to take the one I’m wearing now and I can take my tank top,” (Aka, shirts like this one) I smirked a bit at the way (Y/n) began blushing as I explained my work out attire. “But won’t the teachers be angry with you for wearing that? They probably won’t approve of it,” “Don’t worry about me, baby. It won’t be my first detention nor will it be my last,” After that, I grabbed my bag, closed the locker, and moved toward a bathroom with (Y/n) in tow behind me as I pulled her along. Many people in the corridors looked at us weirdly, mostly at (Y/n) who was dripping water on the floor and wearing my long coat whilst also being half dragged by me. Xu Minghao, aka The8, infamous bad boy. I opened the door to the bathroom checking that it was empty, before stepping inside and looking to (Y/n) and nudging with my head for her to follow me but she just stood there staring at me questionably. “Get in,” “But Hao,” “Get in,” This time I said it more sternly making her go inside the bathroom, then I closed the door and leaned against it to keep others from coming in. (Y/n) shyly looked up at me from where she stood, a few steps in front of me. “Hao, I can’t change with you in here,” “I know, baby, I’m just going to change my shirt then I’ll walk out and let you change in peace,” I loved when she called me Hao, it was so cute and a nickname she gave me herself. A lot of people were confused over what our relationship was because we don’t belong to the same friend group, nor do we have any classes together, she’s the nerdy good girl and I’m the bad boy who has more detention than actual classes. But I fell in love with her when I saw her around school, she’s so clumsy and so cute. I just wanted to put her in my pocket and keep her close to me all the time, to protect the innocent smile she always wore. I began pulling my t-shirt off before (Y/n) rushed forward with a squeal and stopped me, her cheeks as red as tomatoes. “Hao!” “What? I have to take off my shirt to give it to you, or do you want to take it off me? You can if you want to,” I gave her a wink which only caused her to blush harder. “Stop it, just let me turn around before you start stripping,” She let go of me and turned around before walking two steps so that I had some space, what she didn’t think about was the fact that she now faced the mirror in which she could clearly see me and I could clearly see her. Once again, I began taking off my t-shirt and I looked into the mirror at (Y/n) who was peeking at where I had raised my shirt showing off my abs, but as soon as she saw me looking at her she closed her eyes. I finally took off my shirt and found another chance to tease (Y/n). “Hey take this,” (Y/n) turned around before she opened her eyes, and when she opened them she was met with me holding out my t-shirt whilst still being shirtless. “HAO!” She squealed once again before snatching the shirt from my hands and covering her face with it. I only chuckled at her cute reaction. “That’s not nice you know,” “What?” I opened my gym bag and took out the tank top and then put it on. “Teasing a girl like this, my heart can’t take it,” “Am I too handsome for you babe? Too hot? Are you so in love with me that your heart runs wild when you see me?” I walked up and embraced her in a back hug causing her to open her eyes and stare at me through the mirror. “Stop it, Hao, you can’t say things like that to girls who aren’t your girlfriend,” But you should be my girlfriend, so it’s fine right? I wanted to say that but I knew she wouldn’t take me seriously so I just released her from my hug. “Go on and change now before you catch a cold, the sweatpants are on top of the bag, just stuff my coat into the bag and I’ll take care of it later,” And then I walked out into the corridor, standing guard outside the bathroom door to stop others from walking inside. A few minutes later, (Y/n) opened the door and stepped outside. Once again, I held myself back from kissing her because she looked so cute in my clothes. She handed me my bag back. “Thank you, Minghao,” “Don’t worry about it, you idiot. Just be careful, don’t get in any more trouble today, okay?” “Okay,” After that we parted ways for the day.
~ A week later ~
As I woke up that morning, I looked out of the window and found that the sun was high in the bright blue sky, and the weather was finally warm and nice again after the long winter. I dressed accordingly but brought a jacket just in case it became cold or god forbid it started raining. As I parked my car in the school’s parking lot, my eyes immediately found (Y/n)’s figure as she walked into school. The first thing I noticed was her wearing a cute dress and that she was walking beside DK which made me grip the steering wheel hard. Everyone in school knew that DK was in love with (Y/n), with my (Y/n). I know that she’s technically single but she is not in my eyes. I quickly got out of my car and ran to the entrance of the school, ignoring the shouts of my gang. As I opened the door I found (Y/n) standing beside DK who was opening his locker, they were laughing, I wanted to go over there and tell (Y/n) to come with me but I couldn’t find a good reason as to why she should so I just stood there, frozen. “Hey man, you’re blocking the entrance,” “Yohoo, earth to The8?” Hoshi was waving his hands in front of my eyes as Jun and Jeonghan were trying to talk with me. “Hm,” Was all I said as Dino dragged me away from the entrance with the help of Hoshi. The day went by quickly, by the time the last period was halfway done, the winds had changed and the sun was now covered by dark angry clouds, and the rain was pouring down. All of a sudden as I began spacing out I remembered that morning, (Y/n) was wearing a dress, only a dress, and she didn’t have a jacket with her, she doesn’t have a driver’s license so she isn’t driving. How is she going to get home in this weather? Without a jacket or an umbrella? I looked up at the clock, five more minutes then I’ll have to sprint to catch her before she leaves, that stupid girl, not thinking ahead.
The second the clock rang, announcing the day was over I was out the door. Running as quickly as I could, but I was still too late. I reached her classroom but it was empty, so I ran to the entrance of the school yet I couldn’t find her. “Damn it,” I ran back to my locker and took out my bag to then take out my jacket, throwing it on. Before jogging back out to my car. Even if it took me 1 minute to get to my car my hair had been drenched by the rain, luckily my jacket was waterproof so I wasn’t completely drenched, just my head, and some parts of my legs. I started the car and drove away. I only roughly know what neighborhood (Y/n) lives in so hopefully, if I start driving there I might find her on the sidewalk if she decided to walk as she usually does. Five minutes later and the rain only got worse, but still no (Y/n). I was hoping she had caught a ride with someone, but as I came upon an intersection where I took left I found a familiar [color] dress and figure walking in the rain, drenched from head to toe. I stopped my car to the side of the road and got out just as (Y/n) approached my car.  “Hey idiot, why the hell are you walking home in this weather?” “Minghao?” As soon as she said my name, I heard the crack in her voice, she was crying. Now that I thought about it, she had to have left class early to be able to come this far on foot. “Hey, come on, we’ll talk in the car, just get in,” She stood, as if frozen, sniffling, shaking, I walked up to her and took her hand to gently pull her along with me. I opened the door to the passenger side and gently nudged her inside, as soon as she was inside I shut the door and jogged around to the driver’s seat and got in. “What’s wrong?” I turned the car back on and cranked the heat up as high as I could. “It’s nothing,” “(Y/n), don’t lie to me,” “I just, haven’t slept that well and I got an exam back today, I failed it, Hao. I’ve never done that before,” “Hey, everyone can fail a test it’s fine. You can do better next time,” “You don’t understand, I’ve never failed a single test in my life and I’ve always prided myself on being smart but now I’m a failure, and the others in my class, they laughed at me, made fun of me,” My blood boiled once I heard that people were making fun of her. “Listen to me,” I grabbed her hand and looked at her, “No matter if you ace every exam or if you fail them, you are an amazing person and your worth is not decided by your exam results. Now, I want you to tell me every name of the people who made fun of you,” She had stopped crying, but she was still shaking a bit, the car was fully heated at this point but she was still cold from her wet clothes. “Can you tell me your address? So that I can drive you home, you need to get out of those wet clothes and take a warm bath before you end up with hypothermia,” She gave me her address and so I began driving. Luckily this road was pretty empty around this time so no one had been disturbed. 3 minutes later and I was parked in front of her house. “You gonna be okay on your own?” “Yeah, thank you Minghao. You always manage to save me. I don’t understand why everyone is so afraid of you,” I chuckled. “Well, you’re so stupid that I have to take care of you, or else you would die. I don’t care about anyone else. Anyway, text me once you’ve taken a warm bath, drank some warm tea, and changed into comfortable clothes. I need to know you’re okay, if I haven’t heard from you in 2 hours I’m coming back here, okay?” “Okay, god. You sound like a dad or something,” “Get inside now, hurry hurry,” She finally listened to me and got out of the car before running to her door and going inside. I let out a sigh of relief before I began driving home, I know she’s safe now so I can relax. 1 hour and 37 minutes later, (Y/n) sent me a text saying she was cozied down on the sofa with a cup of tea and a warm blanket. And right then I remembered that (Y/n) had yet to return the clothes she borrowed from me the day she fell in the fountain. I didn’t really care about whether or not she would return the clothes but I was confused about why she hadn’t done it yet. Whatever, I’m gonna ask her out soon anyway, and when we’re together I’ll share my entire wardrobe with her anyway.
~ A few days later ~
For once I decided to walk to school instead of taking my car. It takes much longer but the weather was nice and I woke up early. I soon reached the intersection where I found (Y/n) the other day only to see her walking on the sidewalk, looking at her phone. She stopped to wait for the light to signal that she could pass the crossing. I began jogging to catch up with her, and just as I came close the light switched to green and she began walking, still looking at her phone, but I saw a car that was approaching, fast, it was speeding and had no plans to stop. “(Y/n)!” I ran as fast as I could and grabbed a hold of (Y/n)’s arm pulling her back against so. I pulled so hard though that we both ended up on the ground, but on the sidewalk, safely away from the cars. “Minghao?!” I stood up and helped (Y/n) up before I angrily glared down at her. “Are you stupid? Do you not care about yourself? How can you try to cross a street without paying attention?” “Minghao, I wasn’t thinking but I’m fine now,” “Yes, you’re fine now but if I hadn’t been here you could have died! Do you know how much I worry about you every day? I just want to hold you close to me and never let you go,” “Why do you worry so much about me? I mean no one cares this much about me,” I moved a little closer to her and leaned my forehead against hers. “How oblivious are you? You’re such an idiot, I worry about you and care about you because I’m in love with you!” “You’re in love with me?” She backed up a little but I kept my hands firmly on her shoulders, keeping her from moving too far away. “Yes, I’ve been quite obvious with it too. Always helping you, flirting with you, damn I even drove around looking for you a couple of days ago. I wouldn’t even do that for my friends, then again they wouldn’t be stupid enough to walk around in the rain without a jacket or an umbrella, or actually, maybe I would for Dino, the kid can be an idiot sometimes” “I still can’t wrap my head around this, you’re in love with me?” I looked at her and found that she was blushing and pouting, so I just dipped my head and kissed her. She froze at first and I was just about to pull away when she held onto my biceps and began kissing me back. After a couple of seconds, she pulled away. “Do you understand now?” “I think so,” “So, do you like me back?” “No,” I let go of her and took two steps back. “I don’t like you back because I love you too,” I couldn’t hold back my smile. “Finally, you idiot. Come on, we’re gonna be late to school, we need to hurry,” “Minghao, actually, can we skip today?” “You think I’m gonna let my girlfriend skip her classes?” “I’m not feeling too good, for real, and I would rather spend today with my boyfriend than in some boring classes,” “Okay, I’m convinced. Let’s go to your place, it’s closest from here,” And so we walked over to (Y/n)’s house. Once we came inside I found my sweatpants, neatly folded on a chair just inside the door, yet no t-shirt. (Y/n) saw that I was looking at the sweatpants and she chuckled awkwardly. “Yeah, sorry that I haven’t returned those yet, I um, was planning on giving them back and using it as an excuse to talk with you but every morning I chickened out,” “It’s okay, haven’t exactly missed them, though the t-shirt is another thing,” “Promise you won’t laugh,” “I promise,” “I didn’t want to return your shirt because I liked it and if I had it I could pretend I was your girlfriend,” I chuckled a little, which earned me a playful glare from (Y/n). “You promised not to laugh,” “I’m sorry it’s just, you’re so cute. Do you know how cute you looked in my shirt that day? I just wanted to kiss you and put you in my pocket. And, from now on, you can wear my shirts whenever you want,” “Really?” “Yes, you idiot,” “Stop calling me idiot,” “But you’re so cute and you’re my idiot,” I wrapped my arms around her in a hug, kissed the top of her head, and then slowly backed her toward the sofa. For the rest of the day, we lay on the sofa, cuddling, just enjoying each other's company.

What do you think Spider's reaction would be if everyone withheld from him that he was Quaritch's son? All his life he would have thought his father was unknown, and he would only find out the truth when Quaritch first spoke to him (when Recoms tried to kidnap the children as hostages)
The unnatural man's eyes scanned over the rest of the group. "What's your name, kid?" he said, catching sight of Spider.
Spider struggled again against the man holding him from behind. His scalp burned from where the Na'vi was pulling on his hair. Golden yellow eyes met his soft brown ones, and Spider stilled for a moment, unsure why the man was asking.
"Spider," he spat. "Socorro."
He breathed deeply, waiting for the stranger's verdict, but what he wasn't expecting was the look of confusion that fluttered across the man's face, followed closely by... what was that? Disbelief?
The man narrowed his eyes in thought, crouching down to be at Spider's level. He signalled the Na'vi behind him to let go of Spider's hair, leaving Spider tense, unsure of what was happening.
"Miles?"
A cold shiver ran down Spider's spine. "How do you know that?"
The man in front of him blanched, as if taken aback by Spider's words. Spider watched as something akin to understanding bloomed behind those yellow eyes, spreading slowly across the man's features, blurring into a picture of thoughtfulness. He didn't answer.
"What are we doing, boss?" one of the other avatars spoke, impatience thinly veiled behind his words.
The one in front of Spider stood slowly, keeping his eyes trained on him for a few more moments, before turning around and pressing a hand to the communicator at his neck. "Iron Sky, this is Blue One actual, we are ready for extract."
Spider threw a look of panic at Lo'ak - this was not good. Lo'ak's eyes reflected the fear growing in Spider, and his ears were pinned back in protest at the avatar holding him. Kiri was also struggling, but Spider couldn't catch her eye before they were all being pushed in the same direction towards the clearing - the clearing where a demon ship could come down at any moment and swoop them up.
There were avatars on all of his siblings, and Spider watched as they were all forced down to the ground. The person holding him however, kept him upright. It was almost like they were afraid to let him go.
Frantically, Spider scanned the edges of the clearing for signs of Jake or Neytiri, but nothing seemed to be happening. His attention caught on the avatar that had asked his name. The man was staring at him with the strangest look in his eye, and Spider wondered how long he'd been watching him.
When the man caught Spider looking, he began to walk over. Spider's heart began pounding in his chest. Shit, why hadn't he just kept his head down?
How did this man know his name?
He avoided looking at the avatar until he was right in front of him. The darkening sky was making it difficult to see as far in the twilight, but Spider thought he could make out the name tag on his vest.
M. Quaritch.
His breathing got faster, afraid to even look any longer at the man now crouched in the grass in front of him.
When had the avatar behind him let go of him again?
"How did you know my name?" Spider hissed.
The avatar paused for a moment, staring directly into Spider's eyes. "Because I was the one that gave it you, kid."
... No.
No. Spider didn't know what to do with this information - that couldn't be right... that would mean....
"Those insurgent bastards never tell you who your daddy was?"
It felt like Spider's whole heart had stopped. There was something deadly wrong with him - he was malfunctioning, was he having a heart attack? Surely he was going die.
Keeping his feet underneath him suddenly felt difficult, and it was all he could do to remain standing, staring at the man - Quaritch - in front of him.
And then it clicked.
Quaritch - he'd heard the name before, it had been whispered during his childhood, never outright discussed, but spoken about enough for Spider to gather that it was he who was ultimately responsible for the fall of the first Hometree. It was he who had destroyed the lives of hundreds of Na'vi. It was he who had the blood of hundreds of Omatikaya families on his hands.
Spider couldn't breathe... It wasn't making sense. That man... that man had been human... he had died, Jake had murdered him.
How was this happening?
"You're not..." was all he managed to choke out.
Quaritch watched him carefully, a grim look on his face, but Spider wasn't aware of any of that. He was trying to concentrate on pulling enough air through his exopack to satiate his suddenly empty lungs. Why wasn't it working? Was his mask broken?
He stumbled a little, and a large hand on his shoulder forced him down to the ground. "Don't sweat it," Quaritch said. "I ain't exactly overjoyed myself."
Fuck. So it really was... This man, Quaritch, had been his father? Nausea swelled in Spider's throat, and suddenly he was ripping his mask off, throwing up in the grass next to him.
It was difficult with his hands bound, but as he wiped his face and pulled his mask back on, he began to crawl away from Quaritch, putting as much space between them as the Na'vi would allow.
He cast around for Kiri - or Lo'ak or Tuk - wanting someone he knew to be close, wanting to be held by familiar hands, and spotted Kiri only a few feet away. He made his way towards her, and Quaritch seemed to let him.
He could tell by the look in Kiri's eyes that she'd heard the whole thing. Her face was anxious, shocked... confused.
"Kiri!" Spider hissed, as he scooted up to her.
"I know," she replied.
"It can't be true. It can't be true," Spider repeated, as if saying it enough times would manifest it.
"It's okay..." Kiri spoke softly, trying to comfort. She wrapped her arms around him as best as she could with her hands tied, and Spider gratefully sank into her touch.
He was too far gone to realise Neytiri's disguised call, coming from the eastern edge of the clearing, but Kiri wasn't. Her ears pricked up and she looked over at Tuk and Lo'ak to make sure they'd heard it too. Tuk was wide-eyed, casting around for their mother, and Lo'ak looked stoic, clearly trying to think the next few critical moments through.
There was the call again. Loud as a drum, subtle as a bird.
The arrow that shot straight into the avatar's heart that was looking over Spider and Kiri pulled Spider immediately from his spiral. He wasn't sure what happened first - Kiri gasping, Tuk shrieking, Quaritch yelling, "Contact made!" or the sounds of gunfire from the surrounding avatars' ARs. The noise was like thunder in his ears, and the heat of their fire blazed across his face.
Kiri was yelling now, pulling on his arm, but then just as suddenly, a larger, stronger hand had grasped his shoulder, forcing him back, before the owner fell limp, impaled by a poisoned arrow through the heart. He stared at the dead avatar for a moment longer before Kiri was pulling him away, towards the trees, and they ducked and dived for cover as bullets soared all around them.
He only hoped that Lo'ak had managed to grab Tuk.
There was no time to pause - no time to stop and check - they were running, sprinting as fast as they could away from the fire. Then suddenly, an explosion rocked them both from behind. The force of it was like nothing Spider had ever experienced, and it sent him flat to the ground, knocking the air out of him and sending a trilling noise through his ears. He lay still, trying to gasp air back into his lungs while simultaneously shaking the ringing from his eardrums. He could hear Kiri shouting, trying to pull him up, but she sounded far away. Hands were on him - but they weren't hers. They weren't even Neytiri's. They felt like Jake's.... could Spider dare believe...?
He opened his eyes. Cold terror swept through his body at the sight of Miles Quaritch bending over him, then lifting him up and swinging him over his shoulder. It was all Spider could do to strain his eyes and watch as if he was a passenger in his own body. He couldn't make a single noise of protest. He was too shocked, too stunned, too confused.
Where had Kiri gone?
"Don't worry, kid. You're coming home now."

You believed you had made it pretty obvious. From the moment you met him in the woods, he was the only one you paid attention to. Others were freaked out by the fact he never left your eyesight—but you didn’t care.
Every time he would speak to you or even look in your direction, you would immediately freeze up. His simple observations of the things you would do made you go crazy.
The adults called it a little crush, but you knew it was more than that—you wanted it to be more than that. Unfortunately, you believed he could only ever view you as the clingy girl he met at a young age. He never did anything to show you there was a mutual liking.
In your childhood, you wouldn’t consider yourselves close. You were in the same friend group, yes, but he liked to play around with the boys while you climbed the trees and sat admiring him from the branches and gossiping with your best friend, Lamina. Whenever you were together, it was often silent—mainly because you were extremely nervous around him.
Sure, you’ve found other boys cute over the years—many who seemed to like you—but they could never compare to Treech. They weren’t caring or natural gentlemen. They didn’t make sure you were comfortable at all times. Treech did. You knew he was the one for you; no one could tell you otherwise.
As you both matured, the crush matured as well. The childish pining after him turned into hanging out and enjoying the time spent with him. On some days, you felt as if your feelings were reciprocated—the flirting and kind gestures. However, on other days, not so much—calling you his best friend and acting like that is all you ever would be. Still, you waited for him to make a move, refusing to do it yourself.
On this particular day, Treech decided to take you out on what you wished to be a date. As Treech knocked on your door, excitement and anticipation bubbled within you. He pulled you out of the house, and together, you ventured deeper into the familiar forest. The air was charged with a mix of playful energy and underlying emotions, creating a sense of unspoken tension.
Engaging in your usual antics, you both ran around, played games, and chased each other through the woods. As you both ran through the trees to your favorite spot, a playful banter ensued.
“Remember that time we got lost here as kids?” Treech chuckled, referring to the lake deep in the forest.
“Yeah, and you thought it was the best adventure ever,” you replied, the memories of your childhood escapades making the present moment even more special.
The day continued with laughter and shared stories. At times, Treech’s actions seemed to carry a different weight—a subtle shift that didn’t go unnoticed.
As you both lay on a blanket, a comfortable silence settled over the scene. The lake stretched out before you, its calm waters reflecting the dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves. Yet, amidst the tranquility, your gaze kept drifting toward Treech.
He stared thoughtfully at the lake, his eyes reflecting a distant contemplation. The playfulness that had marked the earlier part of the day seemed to have faded into a more introspective mood. You couldn’t help but watch him, wondering what thoughts occupied his mind.
His profile was outlined against the serene backdrop, which held a certain mystery. You found yourself caught in the details—the way his eyes focused on the ripples of the water, the subtle furrow on his brow, the way his fingers absentmindedly traced the pattern on the blanket. There was an undeniable charm in those quiet moments.
But alongside the enchantment, a nagging doubt crept in. Why, despite the laughter and the special moments you shared, did Treech act like your connection was nothing more than a friendship? You couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something unsaid—a puzzle piece missing from the picture you painted together.
As he continued to gaze at the lake, you couldn’t resist sneaking glances at his face, searching for clues. Was it something you did or said? Was there a reason he hesitated to show his feelings? What do you have to do for him to give the two of you a try? The unspoken question lingered in the air, and a sense of longing grew within you, wishing for clarity that seemed just out of reach.
The sun soon began to dip below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the lake. The water rippled gently, reflecting the changing hues of the sky. It had been quiet for a while; the forest around you seemed to hush its usual sounds, as if respecting the sacredness of the moment.
Breaking the tranquil silence, Treech turned to you, his eyes reflecting a vulnerability that hadn’t been there before. “You know, being here with you today has made me realize something.”
Your heart quickened, sensing a shift in the atmosphere. “What is it?” you asked, your voice soft.
He took a deep breath, his eyes locked with yours. “I’ve known you for so long, and I’ve finally come to terms that my feelings for you go beyond friendship. I really like you, more than just a friend.”
A wave of emotions swept over you—surprise, joy, and a sense of relief. The tension that had lingered throughout the day suddenly made sense. You tried to play it cool, but inside you were panicking. This was the moment you had waited for all your life.
Treech continued, “I didn’t want to risk our friendship, but I couldn’t hold this back any longer. You mean a lot to me, and I needed you to know.”
A smile tugged at the corners of your lips. “Treech, I’ve been feeling the same way since we were children.” The words hung in the air, affirming a connection that had silently blossomed over the years. He looked at you with shock written all over his face—as if he hadn’t expected you to return the feelings.
“Do you know how many nights I spent debating whether I should knock on your door? To let you know, I wanted more. To call you mine?” You asked, letting out all your thoughts and feelings that had accumulated over the years.
The shocked look on his face stayed the same as he opened his mouth to speak. “What? I had absolutely no idea you liked me.”
A playful glint sparkled in your eyes as you responded to Treech’s shock. “Honestly, I thought I made it pretty obvious. I mean, everyone knew. I practically walked around with a sign saying, ‘I like trees.' Did you not notice?”
His expression shifted from shock to a mix of surprise and realization. “No! Everyone knows?”
You chuckled, “Yes! Come on! I was always freezing up whenever you spoke to me, or did you think that was just my thing? And the constant admiration from the tree branches? I practically lived up there just to have a better view of you.”
His surprise morphed into a sheepish grin upon hearing everything you did for his attention. “I guess I was a bit oblivious. I thought you were just being your usual self.”
You playfully nudged him. “My ‘usual self’ was practically shouting my feelings for you. I even climbed trees just to impress you.”
He laughed, the tension disappearing with each shared moment of understanding. “Well, I guess I was too caught up in wanting to look cool in front of you to notice.”
You grinned, appreciating his honesty. “I always thought you were cool.”
Treech’s expression softened, and he nudged you playfully. “Guess I missed out on a lot by not realizing it sooner.”
“I’m glad you made the first move. God knows I wasn’t ever going to tell you.” You confessed, the honesty flowing effortlessly now that the truth was out. As the two of you moved closer to each other, the nervousness that had once lingered vanished in the newfound comfort of honesty.
“Why is that? Why did you hide it for so long?” He asked, raising an eyebrow, curiosity in his eyes.
A thoughtful smile played on your lips. “It might seem kind of lame, but I thought it was better to keep it a secret rather than knowing if you felt the same or not.”
Treech’s gaze held a warmth that mirrored the moonlit night. “You know, I was scared too. Scared that if I admitted my feelings, things would change between us.”
You nodded, understanding his perspective completely. The admission echoed your own fears—you would’ve continued to hide your feelings if it were to preserve the friendship. “It’s funny how we both held back because we cared too much. But now that everything’s out in the open, it feels right, doesn’t it?”
He chuckled with a reassuring tone in his voice. “More than right.” He reached for your hand, a silent affirmation of the newfound closeness. “I’m excited to see where this takes us,” he admitted, his gaze filled with anticipation.
You squeezed his hand, feeling the warmth of a shared journey ahead. “Now that I have you, I’m never letting you go.”
The moon continued to illuminate the lake, its reflection rippling with the promise of a future filled with love and honesty. The night, now a canvas painted with shared confessions, marked the beginning of the rest of your life.
As you both gazed up at the stars, a new, comfortable silence settled between you. No longer burdened by unspoken feelings, the air was light, and every shared glance spoke volumes.
A warmth enveloped you both as you leaned against him, the world around you fading away. In the quietude, your hearts beat in unison, wrapped in the comfort of each other’s presence.
You both felt the magic of the moment—the beginning of a love story that was hidden in the innocence of childhood. This was a night to remember, a night where everything fell into place.
The two of you were destined to be—just as you knew when you were children. Everything you did as a child was worth it—the pinning after him, getting closer to him despite the intense nerves you got. The childhood crush, the silent admiration, the nervous moments that turned into laughter, and the patient waiting for him to make a move—all of it led to this beautiful moment. It was all worth it in the end; you had him.
“It’s always gonna be you.”
