imagine being Loki and you're on thin ice playing pretend to fit in on a tyrannical mystery garbage planet until you find a safe way to get rid of the murder-happy ruler who you're very clearly keeping up the bit of having no suspicious connections to the shiny new gladiator that was rounded in and then Thor gets angry about it and immediately gives the lie away by saying you two are brothers.

Peter Parker’s field trip. Part 1
Warnings: Trans!Peter, Spidypool, sex references, superfamily, transphobia, supportive avengers
Tony POV
I was in my lab waiting for Peter, my newly adopted son, to come home from school when Friday told me I had an email from Peters school. Turning to my phone I opened the email and was completely annoyed. The email read
'Dear Parent/Carer of Patricia Parker,
We are delighted to inform you that we have a surprise field trip for the student to none other than Stark Laboratories. The trip with be a residential starting on March 7th with a trip to Stark Tower, staying the night there with Mr Tony Stark-Rodgers and then having a trip to the Avengers Tower where we will have the opportunity to meet the Avengers and ask them questions. This is a once in a life time opportunity and we hope you allow your daughter to attend. Also, we would like to keep the trip as a surprise for the student so we urge you not to tell them the destinations of the trip.
Yours Sincerely,
Mrs Robbins.'
I was livid. My child Peter is a boy. I do not have a daughter I have a son. I couldn't believe the nerve of this teacher so I stormed out of my lab and in to the main living area of the penthouse and saw my handsome husband lay on the couch watching tv. He looked so calm and collected but I feel this might change.
"Honey, I just got this email from Peters school that I think you should have a look at." I told him handing him my phone.
He looked confused at first but then the anger set in and by time my phone was placed back in my hand he had an evil smirk on his face. I had an idea of why he had that smirk but just to be sure I asked him,
"What's the smirk for?" I asked.
"Tell the teacher our son can go on the trip while I make a few phone calls. Nobody purposely misgenders my son and gets away with it." He is trusted before grabbing his cell phone and walking down the corridor to one of the training room. Probably going to blow off a little steam and anger. Might watch in a little while.
After a second I simply responded to the email stating'
I as Peters legal guardian allow my son to attend this field trip. Is there any additional information that we should be aware of?' It seemed like the appropriate response.
In all honesty I had Pepper invite the school to the towers as a reward for how well they did at the decathlon competition. I was not expecting to receive an email like this.
-5 hours later-
Peter arrived home shortly after the email incident and was greeted to everyone being in the room. Everyone being Me, Cap, Bucky, Nat, Banner, Pepper, Sam, T'Challa, Shuri, Rhodey, Wanda, Vision, Thor, Loki, Clint and Strange along with the Guardians on a Skype call on the tv. We told him it was a spur of the moment gathering as well all missed each other, not an entire lie, but in reality we were plotting to a) embarrass Peter as much as possible on the field trip and b) get back at the teacher for what they did.
We decided to order enough pizza for an entire 3rd world country and discuss Peter's school life as we ate.
"So Peter, has anyone been giving you trouble lately in School? You can tell us the truth." Steve, Peter's other father and my husband, asked.
"No everything just fine." He terribly lied.
"Come on kid. I've known you for almost two years now, don't try and lie. If there's anyone giving you any type of shit for whatever reason please know that you can tell us." I explained to him all of a sudden getting very serious. I could see him fighting with himself on weather to tell us something or not but decided not to as he then said he had homework to do and went to his room.
"So, he's either lying or the teacher isn't as bad as we think." Loki observed.
"No, he was lying. I could feel his conflict and pain in remembrance of what people have said to him. I'm not one for violence but someone needs to pay for what he's been dealing with." Wanda told us with tears in her eyes.
Cap and Barton walked over to comfort her and hopefully stop her crying. My blood started boiling, Wanda was a strong person and if what Peter's going through brings her to tears then that's a lot for one person to go through. What else has this teacher or student done? Why won't he tell us? Does he not trust us? That last question broke my heart.
"Baby, you okay?" I hear Steve ask moving towards me and holding both my hands in his.
"No. I'm pissed. I'm pissed at any one who hurt my son. I'm pissed at us for not making sure he knows he can talk to us. And I'm pissed at the world for making his go through all of this." I told him with tears coming to my eyes.
Steve pulled me close to my chest and held me tight. He stroked his hands through my hair as he tried to calm me down. I could tell he was mad to, we all were, but he was trying to hold it in despite everyone being here to essentially punish this teacher was his idea. Embarrassing Peter was mine.
"Right, so what do we do about this? I'm not letting anyone hurt my nephew and get away with it." Nat said sitting up and pulling a knife from who knows where to sharped her nails. That women scares me so much.
"How about we just drop in during the day and make sure one of us is always with him. If he has one of us always there and we make it apparent that we know and support him the I doubt even someone as bigoted as his teacher is going to say something. Then we can embarrass him when we're with him." Sam suggested.
"I like that. Where are we all going to be stationed?" Loki asked.
"Well if I speak to the tour guide I could get Banner to give them a lesson on Gamma radiation as the first. Then, Barton or somebody drops in. After that they will be taken to a different lab with Shuri and T'Challa. By that time it should be lunch where Thor and Loki could drop in and the guardians land near the level 7 outside cafeteria. Then we can have Sam drop some stuff from above like a water balloon or something and Bucky bake his favourite cookies to bring to him. After Lunch they're looking around some other labs where Shuri could also be along with Banner. I think they're also going to be visiting the training rooms so Nat, Cap, Bucky and T'Challa could be fighting and Wanda, Vision and Strange could be training their magic." I suggested feeling better now that we were planning this.
March 6th
-Peter's POV-
I was in Chemistry faintly heading the teacher, Mrs Robbins, drone on and on about ionic bonding and how it differs to covalent bonding. It was something I already knew so I didn't need to listen until Ned started hitting my arm. Turning to look at him he simply nodded to the direction of the teacher. I turned around just to catch two words that made my heart drop.
"-Field trip!" Our teacher cheered with a big smile on her face.
Field trip? To where and why?
"That's right, we have organised a surprise field trip for you all as a reward for how well you've all done on your recent exams. Only the top 20 student of the entire school will have the privilege of going. The destination will be a surprise but I will say to bring an overnight bag and money for food and such. You're parents have already got an email consenting for your attendance and the bus will be leaving at 8am tomorrow so don't be late." She further explained.
The whole surprise field trip thing made me nervous beyond all belief. I may not technically be a Parker anymore but the luck definitely followed me and the idea of having to go on an overnight field trip made me terrified. Also, our parents got an email. This means that either Dad (Tony) or Pops (Steve) knew about this probably weeks ago and didn't tell me, this only fulled my anxiety.
Soon the bell went signalling the end of the day and our temporary liberation from this educational prison. On the way out Mrs Robins pulled me aside. It confused me at first until she put our most recent test infront of me. My name circled in big red circles, I know what's about to happen.
"Patricia, you must stop this. You're name is not Peter, you're not a boy. You were born a girl and therefore are, there is no picking and choosing with what God gave you. You must understand this by now. This little joke has gone too far that you're name has been requested to change on our register. Get it through you're head that you are not a boy and you will go to hell for thinking otherwise. One more incident like this and you'll have detention for the rest of the year. Got it?" She basically shouted at me pointing to my circled name on the test.
"No. My name is Peter and I am a boy, I don't care what God assigned me because he got it wrong. I am a boy and my name is Peter as we have gotten it legally changed." I rebutted getting impatient with her ignorance.
"Don't speak to me like that young man. You have no right to change Gods idea and destiny for you. Just thing, you're a girl meaning you can have kids and spread God's message to others and have many kids. Just what God planned for all women." She told me trying to sound sweet but came off and incredibly patronising.
At this point I was too angry to listen to her bulls**t (Gotta keep it Steve friendly people) so I stormed out the room. She started yelling for me to come back to the classroom but I didn't listen and continued walking till I reached the car Happy was in to take me home.
I got in the car and started telling Happy about my day while playing classic songs on my phone such as Highway to Hell, You gave love a bad name and Living on a Prayer. He pretended like he didn't care but I could tell he was listening and hanging onto every word I was saying. I love that about Happy, he acts like he doesn't care but in reality he does and he does a lot. He once caught Flash saying stuff about me and threatened to hit him with the car, he almost did as well but we were running late to a meeting I had to go to with Dad. Of course that didn't stop Flash as he still likes to torment me daily but he now does it more secretly making it more bearable.
We soon made it home and I found all of my dysfunctional family,minus the guardians who were on a Skype call, sat in the living room watching a movie on the tv. I quickly set my bag down on the kitchen island and settled right next to Tony (Dad) who was cuddling Cap (Pops). Everyone was asking me questions about my day and school life in general. They focused mostly on if people were bullying on me. It worried me a little because as much as I know I can go to them, I don't want to because I know that if I tell them everything that's happened they'll kill people and I don't want that for my family. Half of them only just got pardoned and I don't want the governments to revoke that.
"Sorry guys but I got homework. The pizza was delicious, is it okay if I invite Wade around?" I pleaded with Pops knowing he's more likely to say yes.
"Yes but that door stays open hound man. Do I make myself clear?" Pops asked in a stern voice.
"Crystal." I responded before taking out my phone to call Wade, grabbed my bag and walked to my room.
"Hey Baby Boy, what's up?" Wade asked after picking up his phone.
"Not much, Pops said you could come around." I told him making him slightly squeal.
"Okay Baby Boy, I'll be there in 10 minutes. I love you." Wade informed.
"I love you to Babe." I said before hanging up with a smile on my face.
-10 minutes later-
I was sat at my desk finishing my algebra homework when I heard someone knock on the window. Knowing it was Wade I turned with a smile on my face and let him in.
"Hey Baby Boy, how was your day?" Wade asked making himself comfortable on my bed.
"It was fine, quite boring if I'm honest. We did get told about this residential field trip tomorrow though. Sorry I won't be here for most of the weekend. I'm sure my Dads will love having you around." I joked sitting on his lap and cuddling into his chest.
"It's fine Pete. I'll just have to savour our time together now." He said wiggling his eyebrows and kissing me passionately.
"My Pops said to keep the door open." I told him pulling away with a massive blush spread across my cheeks.
"Does that rule apply to your en-suite?" Wade asked.
"I don't believe so." I answered getting up from his lap and dragging him into my en-suite, which is where we stayed for the rest of the night.

---------------------------
It has been 7 months since she last saw him. Odin forbade it. She tried to reason with him but he shrugged her off. She was fed up.
“I want to see my husband, you can’t keep me away from him.” She declared but shut her mouth when the All-father glared at her.
“I won’t allow you to see him, or have any contact with him. This is his punishment. Now leave, I have more important things to tend to.” He glared at (Y/N) and she nodded.
She walked through the hallways of the palace and tried to not cry from the frustration.
“Lady (Y/N), wait up.” She could hear someone shouting at her and she turned towards the voice. It was Thor. He walked quickly towards her and she smiled sadly at him.
“Hey, Thor what’s up?” She asked in a monotone voice and he furrowed his eyebrows.
“I’m sorry for disturbing you but I heard you talking to my father and I think I have an answer to your problem.” She looked at him with wide eyes.
“You will take me with you?” she gasped but her expression fell when he shook his head.
“I’m afraid I’m not able to do that at the moment.” He then reached to the pocket on his leather satchel and pulled out some paper and envelopes.
“You could write some letters to him, tell him how much you miss him or something.” He suggested and grinned widely.
“You are the best Thor.” She kissed his cheek and ran to her quarters.
***
They have been exchanging for about 4 months before Odin realized and called her in to talk to her. When the guards first called her in, she nearly passed out from fear. She knew what happened to people who didn’t respect his orders. She took a sharp breath in and started walking towards the throne room.
When she stepped into the room, the first person she saw was Thor. She looked at him puzzled and he just shook his head. He was right, this wasn’t the time.
“If I remember correctly I forbade you from contacting him or seeing him. Do you have anything to say for yourself?” He spoke, and the tone of his voice made (Y/N)’s hands shake.
She shook her head and looked to the ground.
“I don’t have anything to say, your highness.” She awaited the worst. What would he do to her? Throw her into the prison? Or maybe send her to another planet so she wouldn’t be able to talk to Loki ever again?
“Pack your stuff. You will leave for Midgard today with Thor.” Her head snapped to look at him.
“Thank you your highness I really appreciate it.” He nodded.
“I won’t be merciful the next time you disrespect me and my wishes.” His voice boomed through the halls but she didn’t care. She would be able to see her husband. And that’s all that mattered.
***
When they landed, it was night. (Y/N) looked around her and saw the tall buildings above her. She fell in love with the city at the first sight.
“Come on, the Avengers tower is only a couple blocks away,” Thor said and the girl beside him nodded. The walk was quite short but very interesting.
The city was so alive; she couldn’t get enough of it. After a few minutes of walking, they stopped. They stood in front of a huge tower, with a big A at the top. Thor took her wrist into his hand and pulled her lightly towards the entrance.
He greeted the receptionist, the security and walked towards the elevator. (Y/N) wasn’t new to the Midgardian technology. She quite enjoyed Midgard and all things that come with it.
The door closed behind them and (Y/N)’s mind started to wander. ‘What will he say when he sees her? Will he be happy? Will he be angry at her? She didn’t come to see him for nearly a year, she wouldn’t blame him.'
She came back to reality when the elevator stopped, and the doors opened.
“The team doesn’t know who you are so it will surprise them.” He explained and she hummed in acknowledgment.
“Let’s do this.” She rubbed her palms together and they walked out of the elevator together. The pair walked down the hallway. They stepped into a room with some couches and a bar.
“Hello, friends I am back.” Thor cheered and the people looked in his direction.
“I also brought a friend with me.” He looked behind him and all people in the room looked at her.
A tall man with blonde hair and blue eyes came closer to her and offered his hand. She took it, and they shook hands.
“I’m Steve Rogers, it’s nice to meet you ma’am” he greeted and (Y/N) introduced herself. She made a round around the room and introduced herself to everyone.
“So, what’s she doing here Point Break?” Tony asked and (Y/N) laughed at the nickname. Thor only glared at her.
“She came to see Loki.” He stated and the room went quiet. Natasha glared at her
“Why do you want to see a mass murderer?” She questioned and (Y/N) explained.
“Long story short, he is my husband and I haven’t seen him in nearly a year.” Clint choked on his water and Bruce stepped away from her.
“Look, I know you don’t like him I still do and I would really like to see him.” She stated and Tony nodded.
“Okay, Point Break, take her to his cell.”
Thor nodded and moved towards the hallway and (Y/N) followed him.
“Does he ever get to walk outside?” she asked and Thor shook his head.
“We can’t contain his power so he has to be in a cell. But Tony and Bruce are working on it.” He assured her and she nodded.
***
Loki’s cell was on floor -5. All the way below garages, and boilers and stuff. They stepped out of the elevator and (Y/N) immediately noticed the presence of heavily armed guards.
“Before you go in I have to walk you through some rules.” He started and she looked at him.
“You can’t go into his cell, open his cell door or take any items he gives you through the glass with his magic.” He clarified and (Y/N) hummed in agreement.
“I understand, can I go see him now?” Thor nodded and (Y/N) rushed to the room with his cell. When she stepped in, she took her surroundings.
The room was quite large, bland and about ¾ of it was just the cell. The ‘visiting area’ was pretty boring. A couch with some pillows and a blanket, a water fountain, and some magazines were the only things in the space.
Loki’s cell was more interesting. There was a comfortable-looking bed, a little bookshelf with some books, a writing desk, and a chair that came with it.
The door behind her closed and Loki’s head turned towards her. His eyes widened and he stood up from the bed.
“Is it really you, my love?” He whispered and (Y/N) nodded. Some tears welled up in her eyes and she wiped them away.
“I thought I would never see you again.” She confessed and came closer to the glass. She pressed the palm of her hand on it and he did the same.
Loki’s heart broke when he felt the cold glass instead of the warm touch of his lover.
“How did you even get here?” he questioned and (Y/N) laughed lightly.
“Odin let me actually.” She said and Loki’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. His lover smiled at his face and continued.
“I couldn’t believe it either.”
“My love, I have to ask you something.” She said and Loki tilted his head.
“Why did you do it?” she asked with tears in her eyes and he glared at her.
“Oh, so that’s why you are here huh? They sent you to get information from me” He chuckled sadly and turned his back to her. (Y/N) shook her head immediately.
“No, I came here because I wanted to see you. I am asking you because I want to understand.” He turned around and she could see the doubt in his eyes.
“I promised you I will help you and protect you, why would I break that promise.” (Y/N) questioned and she could see the doubt disappear from his eyes at the mention of their vows.
“I..” he started and she could see his bottom lip wobble a bit. She knew he did that when he was trying not to cry.
“He made me do it, it was horrible.” He rushed his words out.
“Who made you do this Loki, my love tell me please.” She pushed but he shook his head.
“Can we talk about this later I want to talk about something else; I promise I will tell you everything.” She sighed and nodded her head.
“Talk to me my love, what did you do here?” Loki looked to the ground.
“Nothing much. I read some books, waited for your letters, and wrote you letters.” He confessed.
“I have to say, the letters were the only thing that made me happy.” She said and he chuckled.
“I had it the same. When I was feeling sad, I reread your letters again, and again, and again.” She laughed and he looked at her lovingly.
***
The next 3 hours were filled with laughter, talking, crying, and ‘I love you’s. At about 2 a.m., Loki fell asleep with his cheek squished to the glass. (Y/N) looked at him and stood up. She took the pillows and blanket from the couch and made a little sleeping place beside the glass.
The girl could feel her eyelids drooping, and she looked at her sleeping husband one last time. They would get through this and be able to touch each other.
Eventually.

Story Masterpost
-
The days after the feast are bustling with work. You throw yourself in new recruit training and the public garden expansion plans. You do absolutely anything and everything to try not to think about your last encounter with Loki, but every time you come back to your chambers, you fail to think of anything but.
You sit on your bed, erotic novel in your hand, still toying with the idea of sending it to him. You think of all the notes you could put inside, all the flirtatious ways you could tease him. There’s a small shadow of doubt, of fear of embarrassment that guides the book back onto your shelf every time however.
It’s where the book would end up this morning, you know. You flip through the pages once more, eyes catches glimpses of its dirty words. What would Loki think of those words? Would he enjoy them? Would he find them juvenile?
A harsh knock on your door startles you out of your musings. Your heart skips a beat and the instant adrenaline rush of the fear of getting caught with such a thing makes your hands jitter.
“Just a moment,” you call. The next knock is more insistent. You shove the book beneath your pillow and fluff the feathers of it once in hopes to make it look natural. “I’m coming!” you tell your intruder. You take a deep breath in an attempt to ebb the adrenaline, but it only works in the smallest way. When you open your door, your unexpected guest smiles at you. “Mother!”
“Hello my dear daughter,” she greets, ignoring your stunned face. She leans in to kiss you on the cheek before nudging her way inside despite being uninvited.
“What are you doing here?” You blink rapidly, your bafflement still intact as you close the door and watch as she scans your room. “You’re not usually in this area.”
“There was a gentleman who needed a poultice in this wing and I thought I’d deliver it and then come by to see my darling daughter.” She scrutinizes your décor, but has an unusually chipper smile on her face. As she walks delicately over to your bookshelf, you quickly go to stand at the head of your bed, as if trying to block her from discovering your hidden book.
After skimming over your novel selection, she turns and walks to your desk. Her fingers dance over the wood surface before her hand dips down to the silver knob of the drawer. The drawer you’ve stored all of your notes from Loki. That panicked adrenaline comes back.
“Mother!” you snap. “Did you come by for any reason other than to go through my things?” You’re effective in getting her to remove her hand from the drawer and avert her attention elsewhere. What in the stars would she have to say if she found the dozens of notes from Loki? You’d rather not find out right this moment. Honestly, you’d much rather she found your book instead.
“You know…” she muses. “I rather wish you would have told me yourself instead of hearing the rumors, my dear daughter.” Your brow furrows together in confusion.
“What rumors?” you question carefully. If there are in fact rumors about your encounters, you want to play this very strategically. Your mother only smiles slyly for a moment and then positions herself next to your desk chair.
“Oh please,” she scoffs. “Do you really think you’d be able to hide a relationship with the prince?” It takes every ounce of your professional skill to keep your expression even and collected.
“Mother, I’m not…” you stutter, pausing to swallow thickly. Why is she not furious? She’s still smiling gleefully. It’s then that you notice she’s deliberately placed her hand on top of the royal cloak over the back of your desk chair. “Oh, you mean Thor?” you exclaim, failing to hold back your rush of relief. She barks out a laugh.
“Well I certainly wasn’t referring to the other prince,” she scoffs as though it’s absurd. It is absurd really, but somehow it’s also happening unbeknownst to her. “I had to hear it from Lady Angella that you and Thor have been spending time together.” You laugh, not even minding that she’s scolding you.
“Thor and I are not an item,” you assure her, starting to relax a little. “We spent two minutes together at the feast the other day. We are friends. We do speak to each other.” She doesn’t look dissuaded however.
“Mmhmm,” she hums. “Friends don’t typically keep each other’s garments.” She wiggles her fingers over his cloak again and you find it hard not to get frustrated with her now. “And there are whispers that the prince may be taking a bride in the near future.” She looks quite pleased with herself. “Your name has been mentioned by many.”
“Would that be because you put my name in everyone’s ear?” You cross your arms over your chest and resist the disrespectful eye roll.
“I didn’t even have to this time,” she says cockily enough for you to believe her and that’s quite unnerving. Were there actual talks of Thor and yourself marrying? Now that would be absurd! And yet… your mother hasn’t been the only one to say such a thing.
“This is ridiculous,” you tell her, shaking your head. “Thor and I are not involved. If he’s choosing a bride, it’s not myself.” Your words are pointed and confident, irritated even. “Now if you’ll excuse me,” You step up and put your hands on her shoulders, gently guiding her towards your door. “I have to get ready for the day.”
“You’re being rather coy about it all,” she comments as she reluctantly follows your guidance.
“Not one thing I’ve said here has been coy,” you argue, grabbing knob of the door and twisting it hurriedly. “Now out you go. Go worry about your patients and not about my possible future marital status.” You shoo her out of your room, but she turns back to face you the moment she crosses the threshold.
“You can’t fool your old mother,” she warns and wags a finger at you. “I know there’s something you’re not telling me.” There’s a little skip of fear somewhere inside your gut, but your irritation with her dominates your emotions.
“If you say so.” You can’t resist the eye roll this time and at the end of it, you catch Katerina walking down the hall towards you. “I see I have a delivery coming.” You point her out to your mother and make another motion to gently coax her away from your door. She bites her lip, unhappy about the decision, but does step back.
“I’m going, I’m going!” She turns to leave, but gives one final look over your shoulder. “Your hair looks lovely, by the way.”  You close your eyes and let out a frustrated breath.
“Thank you, Mother.”
She leaves quietly after that and you wait at the doorframe for Katerina to approach with your breakfast tray. She gives you a polite smile.
“I don’t think I’ve seen your mother over this way before,” she comments in a pleasant tone.
“Yes, well… I rather wish it stayed that way.” The corner of Katerina’s lips tip upwards in the smallest fashion. “Come in,” you beckon her, holding the door open for her to step inside. She goes to the desk and sets the tray down.
“Do you have anything you need delivered today?” she asks.
You chew on your bottom lip for a moment. The irritation at your mother’s prying has sparked a little streak of rebellion inside of you. Marry Thor? Preposterous! Oh how knowing that you speak to Loki would drive her mad. To know the relationship isn’t as purely platonic as you like to claim? It may send her to her grave!
“Actually, yes,” you say, determination suddenly washing through you. You walk briskly to your bed and retrieve the novel from beneath your pillow. Jotting a quick note on the inside cover, you find your hand shaking ever so slightly. “Please deliver this.” You close the book and hand it to Katerina as confidently as you can. She glances at the cover and the title, but keeps her professional composure and seemingly doesn’t judge you for it before slipping it inside her robes.
“Delivery will be made this afternoon,” she confirms.
It’s only after she’s left that you start to worry about it being a mistake.
---
Your embarrassment keeps you away for a few days. You want to go see him as you honestly miss speaking with him, but the idea of facing him after giving him scandalous reading material on little more than a whim is nearly terrifying. So you busy yourself with other things, such as giving Thor his cape back.
It’s long overdue, but seeing as how you weren’t coveting it close to you at all times as some people liked to think, you never had it on hand when you saw him. So this evening, you scoop it up and drape it over your arm with a few folds and set off to find him for just this purpose.
He happens to be just outside the tavern, right where you had expected. Though the entire idea of more rumors being sparked of you two, it’s likely a good thing for the exchange to happen publicly. At least that way, everyone can see how casual and strictly friendly your interaction is as well as that you’re not keeping his clothes.
“Thank you for lending this to me,” you tell him as you unravel it from your arm. He takes it with a smile.
“It was no problem at all,” he assures. “Have you heard the rumors?” he asks with a small laugh. You duck your head and let out your own chuckle.
“I have,” you confirm. “Quite absurd, isn’t it?” He shrugs and sticks his chin out.
“Oh not too absurd in the realm of Asgard gossip,” he muses back to you. “We wouldn’t be the first pair of childhood friends to end up betrothed.” When he puts it that way, you suppose he’s not wrong. From the outside world, it does seem feasible.
“Are you getting as much pressure as they say about wedding a woman?” you ask softly.
“Oh I’m sure it’s exaggerated. It is not something I am worrying about for the moment.” He gives a wave of his hand to brush the idea away. “Will you be joining us this evening?” He gives a nod to the tavern door, but you shake your head.
“I have some plans I want to look over tonight still.” He gives you a polite smile at your gentle refusal.
“Well, then I shall bid you a good night.” He reaches forward and takes your hand in his, bowing his head as he brings it up, his fingers sliding under your palm until he’s just barely cradling the ends of your fingers. He presses his lips to the tops of your knuckles and gives you a playful wink. “Good evening, my Lady.”
“Are you trying to fan the flames of the rumors?” you tease, slipping your hand out of his.
“Of course not! You’d have to join us for drinks if I wanted to properly do that.” You both laugh before you pat him on the shoulder and tell him goodnight as well.
When you arrive back at your room, it takes you a few minutes to notice the sealed envelope sitting on your desk with your name in a fancy script that you recognize all too well as Loki’s. Your heart beats a little faster and you feel a breath get caught in your throat as you break the seal.
Inside, there’s a single page with a single sentence.
I surely hope you don’t expect to get this delicious book back.

New Dynasty Chapter 63
The cells were large rooms, complete with hidden bathing areas, and clear panels that the guards could see through to keep an eye on the prisoners. After depositing the strange woman in one of the empty cells (and then cutting through her binding so she could move), Thor led the child (still holding his hammer) down the halls to where Loki was being held. The guards (Loki always had several pairs of them when he was incarcerated), choked when they saw the child holding the hammer.
“Thor,” one of them demanded as he stared at the child, “who is this?”
Thor bit back a smile. This reaction was the whole reason he’d allowed the child to hold his hammer for so long. The child looked up with wide eyes and held out a hand. “Hello,” she said politely. “My name is Arachne.”
“Arachne,” the guard repeated flatly, not enlightened in the least. He turned back to Thor.
“She is a friend of Loki’s, and has come to visit him,” Thor explained.
The guard frowned and Thor knew what the Asgardian was thinking. Loki was forbidden to have visitors (aside from the Royal family)—but the child was holding Mjolnir. Only the worthy could hold the hammer, and the worthy got special treatment. Arachne nervously pulled her hand back and held the hammer tighter to her chest as the guard stared at her.
The guard turned back to Thor. “How did Loki acquire such a—friend?” he asked, lips curling off his teeth.
Thor honestly hadn’t expected them to so difficult. He opened his mouth to just order the guard aside when the child spoke up. “Agent Coulson introduced us.”
“Coulson.” The guard looked at the child, then at the hammer in the child’s arms. “I see. Well, feel free to pass and don’t try to get him out.”
Thor repressed a smirk. He had heard of Arachne’s uncanny ability to open locked doors—and, truth to tell, didn’t think it would be a bad thing if she helped Loki end his incarceration early. Perhaps the god would go visit his daughter. Thor personally believed that much of Loki’s mischief making adventures would be curtailed if he could visit all of his children. He knew his mother agreed with him.
“Come along,” he said to the child as he strode down the hall to where Loki was.
Once upon a time Loki was kept among the cells with the most dangerous criminals. However, Loki found them entirely too easy to manipulate and he got bored very easily. So now he had his own little cell surrounded by empty ones.
Loki was lounging on the couch that all of the cells had, a pile of books beside him, bare feet (they’d learned the hard way that Loki kept magic in his boots), twitching to a music that only he could hear. Hearing the footsteps he looked up. “Did someone come to visit—hello, Arachne.” Loki sat up and placed the book he had been reading on the pile next to him. He smiled at the child. “How good of you to come and visit me.”
“Hello Loki. Are you doing okay?” asked Arachne.
The god smiled at the little girl. “Quite well, actually. Well, I am slightly bored. You have no idea how hard it is to create a little bit of chaos while in one of these things. I suppose,” he added thoughtfully, “that is the whole point of putting me in here.”
“Perhaps,” agreed Thor reasonably. “Now child, do you mind waiting here while I go report to my father about the cell I just borrowed for Midgard?”
Loki chuckled. “Brother,” he said with humor, “clearly you haven’t heard about the last time this child and I were left alone.”
“Perhaps,” Thor said with a pointed look, “I have heard more than you think.” He turned back to the little girl. “May I have my hammer back now?” he asked. She silently handed it to him. “Now, have a nice visit, and I shall return later.”
The god cheerfully whistled, off tune (according to his human friends he couldn't carry a tune to save his life), as he headed towards the throne room where he knew his father would be.
It was a foolproof plan. No one would expect Arachne to be able to break Loki out—because she was a small child and had the ability to carry Mjolnir. Spending time with the human child would remind Loki of his own daughter, and prompt him to meet the girl. He had no idea why they’d stopped speaking in the first place, not when they’d been so close, but it was a good plan. A sound plan.
What could go wrong?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day Loki came and tapped on my little corner with enthusiasm.
Guess what I brought!
I hope, for your sake, that you aren't holding something up for me to see, 'cuz that would be embarrassing since I can't see it.
Loki started to sputter a little bit, I'm not an idiot Y/n, honestly!
Just making sure.
He projected an image to me unexpectedly, which gave me a headache momentarily since I was still focusing my sight through my eyes. It was a little blurry while I tried to focus on it and not the smudged splotch of color on the floor the same color as my face and hair. Luckily it didn't take me long to recognize what he was showing me.
My phone? Don't tell me you've been keeping up with my Tumblr... Do you even know what that is?
You wound me.
I snickered at him.
No, I did not go through your social media. Rather, I thought you would enjoy listening to your playlist.
A feeling that can only be attributed to a favorite song washed over me at the thought of it. The radio that Loki had put on in the down-time was great and all, but nothing could compare to the playlist you made with your heart and your own hands.
I spoke quietly, Yes, I would like that. I would like that very much.
He wordlessly connected my phone to the speakers and put it on shuffle. I instantly recognized the song, but I had to wrack my mind for the name.
Out here in the fields I fight for my meals I get my back into my living I don't need to fight To prove I'm right I don't need to be forgiven
I smiled and hummed along, occasionally mumbling a line or two when it came to me. Loki stayed silent, but I could tell he was listening in contentment.
Don't cry Don't raise your eye It's only teenage wasteland
I just let the music surround me in a way I haven't felt in years. I almost forgot the situation I was in.
Sally take my hand We'll travel south cross land Put out the fire And don't look past my shoulder The exodus is here The happy ones are near Let's get together, before we get much older
It was going by so fast, but at the same time, time seemed to slow.
Teenage wasteland It's only teenage wasteland Teenage wasteland Oh yeah, teenage wasteland They're all wasted!
I could feel the end of the song coming all too soon and I still couldn't remember the name of the song, or even the artist. I became angry, at myself, Henry, the world, everything! I was angry that this was so sad.
I wanted to cry. I wanted to sob and to scream. Why couldn't I remember? Why couldn't I remember something I loved so much? It hurt. It hurt so damn much that I slammed myself against the wall that's caused me so much grief. The barrier held strong, it was as if I was running into a brick wall.
That's when Loki stepped in. He wrapped his magic around me, to keep me still, to calm me.
Hey hey, it's okay, you're okay. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you.
I noticed he had stopped the music from continuing to the next song. I took a moment to calm myself, No, you didn't upset me, Loki. It's just... I... If I'm forgetting things that I loved so much, what else am I going to lose? What else have I already lost?
Loki paused for a second, Well, that's what I'm here for. We can work together to get you better alright? I can help you remember.
I sighed, Okay... What was that song? It hurt to ask, but what else was I supposed to do?
Baba O'Riley by The Who
I let myself soak in the name... It sounded so familiar. Maybe I felt more whole for a moment. Maybe I just identified another hole. Whatever the feeling was, it was a comforting discomfort that I wasn't sure I wanted to feel again, but I knew I needed it.
So that was what we did. For days Loki would come and play songs from my playlist. He would tell me the ones I couldn't remember and celebrate the ones that I did. It was a slow and embarrassing process, but I could tell I was making progress. Loki was being so supportive... Almost too supportive.
Loki?
Yes, my dear?
Why... Why are you being so nice to me? I mean, I appreciate it very much, but we weren't really on the best of terms when I disappeared.
We weren't on the worst, though.
He made me chuckle, but still.
He sighed, I suppose I found you intriguing...
Past tense? I couldn't help but poke fun.
He chose to ignore me, But then you disappeared and I never got to study you.
I'm flattered.
You should be.
There was a comfortable pause before I asked another question that's been on my mind, Loki?
Yes?
Why has no one come to visit me?
There was a short pause that I quickly filled.
I mean, I know I can't answer them back if they try to talk to me, but people visit and talk to comatose patients. We don't even know if they can hear them, but I can hear them... and... I trailed of pathetically. I really shouldn't be upset, this is more than I ever let myself hope for. Isn't it great to be so selfish?
It's nothing of your doing Y/n. Director Fury wishes for me to be your only contact until he begins the reports. They will all be in attendance then.
That's... That's good to hear.
He hummed in response and we moved on to other topics.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The day came when I was supposed to give my report. I still had no idea how this was going to work, but I trusted them to come up with some sort of solution. I waited patiently for them to arrive, but it seemed to be taking forever. The room was deadly silent for what must have been hours. There wasn't a voice or a footstep that broke it.
Y/n, are you ready?
Loki startled me with a sudden address.
Is everyone here already? I thought I would have heard Thor's lumbering footsteps!
He didn't even chuckle when he began to explain how it was going to work, No, we are in a nearby room as to limit the Queen from hearing anything.
I found it interesting that he called Noxy the Queen. When talking to me he usually called her Noxy. It occurred to me that he might be speaking out loud for everyone else's benefit.
I will hold an illusion of you to speak through. You alone will be able to hear and see the conversation. The illusion will mimic your motions and intentions that you portray. Do you understand?
Yes, Loki.
It felt like a tether was attached to me, the other end I didn't know, but I assumed it was the "control cable" for the illusion. There was a moment where nothing happened, but then I screamed.
My mind couldn't decide on what picture to focus on and it caused me an immense amount of pain. It kept flickering back and forth between the white floor of my cell and a blurry group of people in front of me. I clutched in upon myself to try and block off the instant migraine. I was surprised to hear my own voice saying, "Turn it off! Turn it off!"
Just as suddenly as it happened, it stopped.
Are you okay? Loki sounded worried.
Instead of answering his question I told him what had to change, I can't do the vision. It just... hurts.
Of course.
This time the tether attached seemed smaller, and after a moment I could hear the sounds of people idling. The shuffle of feet, the quiet breathing. It was relaxing. Nobody actually spoke for a while, so I had to break the ice, "Hi."
"Agent L/n."
It was a little hard to decipher voices with the combination of not being able to see and the amount of time that's past since hearing them, so I spoke tentatively, "Director Fury?"
"Correct. Do you understand that you are here to give a report so that we, Shield and the Avengers, may come to know of the nature of your capture so that we may prevent future incidents?"
"Yes, sir." Before Nick could continue I asked, "May I ask who is here since I cannot see?"
"In order to not overwhelm you the only ones here are myself and the members of the Avengers who you know."
I nodded, or felt like nodding.
Nick cleared his throat, "Alright, is there anyone who would like confirmation that who we are talking to is indeed Agent Y/n L/n?"
There was silence. It stretched out awkwardly, "Is anyone raising their hand? Loki are they raising their hands?"
"Ye-"
"NO!"
"So do you guys need confirmation or not?"
I could hear a number of voices mumble out a, "Yes, we would appreciate it."
I chuckled a little awkwardly, "Uh, was there a code word that I was supposed to remember? Cuz I very much do not remember it if there was."
"Y/n would never forget a code word!"
I was offended, "Fucking hell, Clint!"
He gasped, "She would never talk to me that way!"
"Woah, woah!" Who I thought was Tony cut in, "First off, Clint? You don't have any code words!"
He grumbled in response.
"And two, Y/n your filter is gone."
I smiled, "Damn straight."
Tony sighed, "Okay, so we all want confirmation that is actually you, so lets have you tell us something only we would know."
I took a moment to think it over, "Do you guys remember when..." I kinda chuckled at the memory, "When I video called you when I knew you had recently got off of a mission and had no plans and I asked you guys over for a movie night at my apartment?" It was a fond, if not totally embarressing memory. "Steve awkwardly declined for everyone, saying that you had a lot of work to do after the mission. I was totally disappointed, but hung up before anyone else could say anything or show that I was disappointed. I mean, I already had the movie picked out, popcorn popped, a number of snacks set out, and I even rearranged my living area to fit everyone in it!" I wished I could see their  faces, see the recognition, maybe their smiles.
"But, over the next hour, every single one of you came over, not together, mind you! Clint and Natasha first, then Tony, surprised he wasn't fashionably late, Thor and Bruce with Loki dragging behind, and then Steve, with a slightly red face." I surprised myself in remembering those details.
I, my illusion, was probably smiling from ear to ear while recanting the story, "We watched Ghost Rider and mocked how totally cheezy it was and yelled at the screen when the 'monster' scene came on." I huffed with amusement, "That was a very good memory I liked to look back on..."
I didn't hear anyone say anything or even the shuffling of feet, "Uh, hello? Does anyone need a personal story? A reassuring joke? I hope not, because I very much did not have access to the internet."
The silence wasn't even broke with a chuckle. I began to grow scared. Did they leave? Do they not believe me? I'm sure my smile cracked.
"I believe a personal story or two could be beneficial to their conscience, Y/n." Loki's voice was soft, but rigid.
I made a soft popping noise with my tongue as I thought about who I could talk about first. This was a cool illusion to make a subconscious sound. I came to a stop when I just decided to talk about what first came to mind for each of them, "Natasha, I remember when you first walked in the door of my apartment for that movie night, you pulled me aside and said some very comforting things to me as well as some choice words for others." I laughed, "and I swore that those things would stay between us, so I am going to keep it that way."
That got the ball rolling so I just started to pour out everything, "Clint, when I first met you, you could have showed off to impress me, but instead you used your skills to make me smile. I- I really appreciated that, and that might have impressed me even more than you hitting every bullseye."
I was glad I wasn't actually talking because this was a lot of talking, "Thor." I grew serious, "I really appreciate you sharing your food with me that one time. And all the other times you don't know about."
I heard a quick inhale of air and I took that as a signal to move on, "Tony, the care you took with me, guiding me through breathing exercises, taking me to the infirmary after... the Loki incident. I'm forever grateful you were able to show that to me."
"I remember one mission where there was a lot of chemical and radiation components that needed to be understood. Unfortunately, I am not that proficient in that area, but fortunately I was able to approach Bruce. He walked me through everything I needed to know for that mission even late into the night in his lab," I smiled.
"And finally Steve." I willed my illusion to look him in the eyes. I hoped that's how it worked and hoped that Loki would make it happen. "This is very important. I absolutely hate running with you."
At this point the silence was beyond unnerving. "So either nobody likes me enough to talk while I'm blind, Clint is signing at me like an idiot, or everyone just left and Loki is keeping the illusion up for no other reason than his enjoyment. I can see you doing that Loki, I know you can hear me."
There were a few snorts around me before Natasha spoke up, "Uh, Clint just said that you'll get along with Sam just fine."
"I have literally no idea who that is, but I'll take that as a good sign."
"Hey," Tony cut off the laughing, "we didn't hear a story about tikes turtle over there."
There was a beat of silence.
"Wha--who?"
"Yeah, not my best idea. Loki. We haven't heard a story about Loki."
Loki quickly cut in, "I don't believe that will be neces-"
"I must give the people what they want!"
"You really don't."
I started anyway, "My fondest memory of the jolly green giant would be when I was high off of cold medicine and pulled some wicked ninja moves to steal chocolate from our dear Rapunzel while crying over rom-coms. He nearly blew my cover. Happy?"
There were a few "Very"s thrown back my way before Nick had had enough.
"Alright, is everyone convinced that this is indeed Y/n?"
"Yes."
Nick cleared his throat, "Okay, so Agent L/n, you know how this works. According to our calculations, you were a prisoner for two years before you emerged as the asset we know as Queen, correct?"
"Uh, sure."
"Agent L/n..."
I sighed, "I trust your calculations, sir, as I had no sense of time while in captivity. I could have been in there anywhere from six months to six years and I wouldn't have been the wiser."
Nick grunted, "What exactly did they do to you in those two years?"
I mentally straightened my shoulders in preparation of the story I was about to tell. I guess I should have known, I guess I should have been ready. But here I was, trying to control my thoughts.
"The majority of those two years were spent doing two things: being locked in a cell made of concrete walls, and being shoved into rooms with another prisoner. There were two rules when we were put in that room: don't start before they told us, and... and I quote: 'fight like your life depends on it, because it does.'" I took a moment to steady myself, "like a gladiator arena, it was a fight to the death, with our bare hands, only one of us would leave the room alive."
"So we can safely assume you won every round?" I wasn't sure which of the guys had spoke since I wasn't really paying attention.
I chuckled darkly, "That's the thing... My honest answer would be a no. I got beat to a pulp, but they stopped my opponent before he could kill me. My first fight... I lost."
Maybe that's what made it that much worse. I was saved to commit worse atrocities.
"So yeah, between the experiments, the locking me away in the latter part of it, and the immense amount of pain, I lied in a small cell with a roommate I called my friend, and killed other prisoners to weed out the weak ones for hell knows what."
I didn't have anything else to say about the matter so I stayed quiet until Nick was prepared with his next question.
"There was another agent who went missing the same mission that you did: Ichabod Laime. Are you aware of his status?"
"Yes, he is dead."
"What was your relationship with Agent Laime?"
"I would have called him my friend."
"How do you know he's dead?"
Before I could answer Steve mumbled, "Shouldn't you have asked that question before?"
"Don't test me Rogers!" Nick snapped at him roughly.
"Easy, sir. I'm the one who killed him."
There was a quiet sputtering going on around me.
Nick recovered enough to ask, "Did they force you to?"
I left a pause where I would have breathed, "No, I killed him of my own free will."
I felt the tether flicker and pull a little bit. It confused me. It felt like something was missing, or different all of the sudden.
It didn't help that I couldn't see anything. I thought I heard whispering in the room. Fuck me for telling the truth I guess. I was going to be locked up forever.
"Let's call it a day. We'll continue this another time Agent L/n." Nick sounded almost rushed.
Before I could respond the tether was cut and I was left in silence, not even left with a goodbye.

The price is a hand and a finger
Loki x Reader
Sum: When Loki left you, and fell into the abyss, all you had was anger and sorrow. But you aren’t only one.
AN: Just a one shot After re-watching Thor: The dark world.
Tumblr media
The ring was cold when you slid it on this morning. There was no sentiment associated with it. Just a heavy bit of metal and stone tossed into a box. Just so happened to have the same color of your chosen outfit.
It, just like every ring should, fit and stayed in place. Staying on through breakfast, through books and daily responsibilities. Sometimes being twirled while in deep thought. Keeping to it’s place and looking pretty. At some point in the day you had completely forgotten about it until it was slipped off.
“This should be enough for the both of you,” You said, handing it off to the closest guard. “Fight amongst yourself who gets the gem and who gets the metal.”
The guard takes it. Fiddling with the ring in her fingers and glancing towards the other guard. “Alright,” She says, sliding it away. “But make it quick.”
The captain can talk his guards up and down all day about loyalty. But cash will always be king.
Prince Loki’s cell was the jewel of the prison. Placed in the center where every guard rotation can see through the shining walls. A permanent location compared to the other cells meant to hold someone for a year at most. After being sentenced they would go to their places of labor or containment. For now they watched; half awake, as you step into the cell and the wall closes behind you.
Loki was waiting for you like nothing was wrong. Standing in the center of the cell, hands behind his back. The entire prison his stage to start monologuing on.
“So nice to have visitors,” He says.
“Shut the fuck up. Hide us.” You have to stop him before he starts the monologue. Otherwise you’d never get a word in.
His magic is little more than a shimmer in the corner of your eye. Wrapping around the walls, creating a whole other shield. You had no way of knowing what those outside the cell were seeing. Preferably it just be Loki by his lonesome with a book, but it was likely something more dramatic. The other prisoners were pressing against their windows. Probably watching you kneel for him, clutching his clothing and crying tears of happiness.
Instead you just started yelling. Your own monologue of betrayal, anger and misplaced grief.
“I cried for you! I grieved and screamed and wept for you!” There were tears in your eyes that weren’t supposed to be there. You were supposed to be a scary beast of rage. “Did you watch us from where you were? Did you watch your funeral? There was nothing to burn! I wore black and cried over kindling because you were gone!”
He hasn’t looked at your eyes during the entire monologue. Looking everywhere on your person but that area. Focusing on your chest, your exposed collarbone, and how it rose and fell with your emotions. It was as if he was trying to read your heart rate from a distance. Perhaps if he just stared longer could hear your pounding heart.
Instead of being able hear after you finished there was only silence. Finally looking up into your eyes. It should have been his turn to speak. Specifically to fall to his knees and apologize for everything he has done to you.
“You were lovely in that dress,” He says instead.
 Regret was all that came from the first meeting. It was a cape that dragged your shoulders down while exiting the dungeon. It was heavy and stayed on through the night and into the next. Your neck felt like it was going to snap by the next morning.
You had chosen your dress and jewelry based on the cloak no one could see. This ring had just as much sentiment as the first. It was gift from some suitor back when that was all you could think about. Who was it that gave it to you? Their colors were in the band of gray and blue gem in the center. But you couldn’t remember their name.
Whoever they were, hopefully their life was going well. That thought kept returning as you twirled the ring. Pretending not to hear the other ladies in waiting while doing your duties.
“Someone visited the prisoner. I found the jewels in the guard’s clothing last night. He told me it was worth a lot, but nothing else about it.” One of them said, whispering over their papers and books.
“Does the Queen know?” Another asked, neither daring to look away from the group. “She had me gather almost every book in his old rooms. Maybe she’s sending someone for him?”
“You mean, like, as comfort?” The first asks.
Twirl, twirl goes your ring. Round your finger and then back again.
“I wouldn’t be surprised. Our Queen loves him, she’s worried for him.” The third was mostly an audience member, like yourself. Only now speaking up to try and join in.
“And I love my brother but that doesn’t mean I’m sending him whores.” The first says. The other ladies pressing their lips together and getting back to work.
“What were you doing in the guards clothes?” The third asks. Officially ending the conversation.
There was no more talk of the Prisoner and his guest. None that you heard anyway. Instead just going about your responsibilities with your head down. Saying next to nothing the rest of the day until the castle slept.
  “Do you need me to split it for you, too?” You snapped at the same guard from the first night.  Blue and silver ring pulled off and shoved into his hands.
“Would it be worth the same broken in half?” He asked.
“Not if you’re going to wear it.” You say, genuinely trying to give advice.
You didn’t get to hear whether they’d keep it or not. Stepping inside the cell, the wall closing behind you, all focus was on Loki. This time you didn’t have to ask him. The world shimmering slightly in the corner of your eye.
With the toxic anger poured last visit there was only the need to hold him left. The cape melted off when you got your arms around him. It was hard to tell who was squeezing tighter; with his nose in your hair, inhaling like he was gasping for air. Your arms around his center; holding his back as if he may fall through the floor if you were to let go.
“It’s not supposed to be this way,” He says into your hair. He takes a deep breath, his chest expanding and heart slamming and says it again. This one joined by a slight sob.
He was smaller than the last time you had held him. Back then he was drunk on power, confident from having the throne and “finally understanding”. He hadn’t looked at your eyes during that brief time. He stared at your collar bone, hoping to match his racing breath with your own.
“I never meant for this. I hurt you, I hurt her, I never meant to.” It was his turn to scream and cry. Get rid of the toxic sorrow and let your body take the brunt of it.
Although he had lost weight your legs were still struggling with supporting him. Holding him tightly and creating a small dance:
Twirl, and back, and back, now sit!
You only had a few seconds to find the bench and sit down. The back of your knees being more useful then your eyes could have been. Better the fall backwards on a seat then remove the support Loki had.
This almost came to be as you tried to sit. Letting your conjoined weight take you down and onto the bench. Loki let himself fall harder then ever had. His knees taking the blunt without an additional noise to his cries.
Any care he had for appearances was gone as he sobbed into your lap. Blue hands locking into the fabric of your dress so hard he may tear it. There is nothing else to be done but to allow him to let it all out. Your hands, forced to be gentle, run through black hair. And trail over lines indented on his skin. They’d be gone when he was finished; might as well try to memorize them while you could.

Mystic
You shouldn’t have come here. You should’ve told them you were out of town or something, besides, Myra was supposed to be on duty this weekend. But when she came down with the flu you’d been called. You’d worked with this entertainment crew before and had enjoyed your experience with them.
This party was an Avengers party, not that you’d known that until the party started, and your chances of being caught were way higher than they would normally be. After all, the Avengers worked with magical people like Dr. Strange, Scarlet Witch, Thor and Loki. Tony Stark has been wandering through the massive room for over an hour now, slowly making his way closer to you.
A young woman is currently sitting across from you, eyes wide as you shuffle your cards. Technically they’re your great-great-grandmother’s cards but you’d been gifted them on your 18th birthday.
“Alright, I’m going to fan the cards out and I want you to pick 5 cards. Place them face down on the table.”
“Okay.” You can see the excitement in her eyes, she pulls five cards and places on the table. You put them in order then flip them and read them. You make it more dramatic than is necessary but people usually like that.
“Mmm.” You hum staring down at the cards. “I see good fortune in your future,” the girl smiles, “unless you’re not careful.” Her eyes widen again. “There’s a figure, lurking in the shadows, they will seem like they’re a friend but really they don’t have you best interest at heart.”
“What happens if I’m not careful?”
“A much harder path. Trust those in your life now. Their gut, and yours, should be listened to and trusted.” You tell her, she nods solemnly then stands and wanders away. Ina, your cat stretches over the cards and you give her chin an affectionate scratch.
“Sweet girl.” You murmur as she purrs loudly, “just a few more hours Ina, then we can go home and rest.”
A pair of giggling girls come up next. They want to know about their love lives and Ina looks at you with disgust.
The first of the two girls has met her future husband but they aren’t friends. Or even acquaintances yet.
Her friend on the other hand has a very unlucky streak ahead of her. She’ll marry three times before she finds the one, self esteem is the likely cause.
“Know your value beautiful girl. Do not let a man turn your head and capture your heart with a few pretty words or trinkets. You are worth so much more than you know.” You advise and she blinks at you in surprise. Neither girl is laughing now. They walk away looking more somber but also, hopeful.
“Don’t look at me like that Ina. I couldn’t just let her go without some sort of warning.” You tell the cat whose only response is the flick of her tail.
“Are you talking to your cat?” A surprised voice asks and you glance up to find yourself staring into the brown eyes of one Tony Stark.
“Yes. She’s very judgmental sometimes.” You tell him, once again shuffling the cards. “Interested in knowing your future Mr. Stark?” You ask with a small smirk. Of all the Avengers to have show up Stark is probably the safest. He more than likely will just see your gift as nothing more than a party trick.
“Dazzle me.” He says showcasing a row of white teeth. You give him the whole spiel of when to take a card, and to put it on the table face down. Once you flip them over you stare down at the cards.
“Hmm, interesting. There are two paths laid out here which tells me that with one choice you could get two very different outcomes. This mission you’re going on should be successful but you need to keep your ego out of it.”
“And if I don’t?”
“The mission will fail.” You tell him simply, looking up you’re surprised to see he’s watching you with a very intent look on his face.
“I see the death card.”
“It doesn’t mean literal death. More of an ending of sorts. It could be a business deal, a friendship, a relationship. Besides, endings aren’t always a bad things, they often increases our self awareness.” You gently run your fingers over Ina’s head and are rewarded with a brief flash of knowledge. “Oh, and Mr. Stark?” You say as he stands, he looks back over his shoulder at you, “The first wave will be easily defeated. Don’t be fooled.” His brows furrow but he nods and walks away, his cell phone pressed to his ear.
You do fourteen more readings and both you and Ina are completely exhausted by the end of the night. Reading takes a lot out of both you and Ina, enough that you don’t notice the man following behind you as you make your way to the subway.
Ina leaps up onto the top of your bag, she likes to ride there by your hip. When you reach down absently to scratch her head and find her butt instead you’re confused. Glancing down you see her staring behind you, her jade eyes unblinking. You start walking faster.
You look over your shoulder and see his face, it’s not a familiar ones but those eyes, you swear you know those eyes.
You trot down the stairs and through the turnstile then wait anxiously for the train to come. The man seems to have not been following you but now Ina’s attention is on a blonde woman standing just down the platform from you.
“Ina?” You mutter and she gives a warning growl. So soft you almost don’t hear it. Risking a look over at the woman you’re surprised to see her eyes are identical to the man from before.
This is not a normal woman. Slight terror seizes you but you know that Ina will help protect you. She always has. She’s still growling at the, person, when the train rolls up. You can feel their electric blue eyes on you as you board the train, but they don’t move to follow you, which is a relief. You don’t relax again until you’re home.
You lock the door and pour holy water and salt along the entrance of the door and all of the windows then place a few crystals out for protection. Ina watches as you put up the protections, her tail flicking back and forth as she does.
“Okay Ina. Whadda think? This work?” When she seems to accept your work you head for the bathroom to shower and get ready for bed.
Lavender goes on your pillow and once you’ve stopped flopping around on your bed Ina hops up onto your bed then curls up near your head on her own pillow. Diva.
When you wake the next morning and nothing has been touched you relax considerably. You forget about the incident quickly, going about your normal routine. You and Ina go down to the farmer’s market, visiting with a few friends as you do your shopping.
The three mornings later two men come bursting into your apartment the door crashing open.
“Ina!” You shriek and she leaps to your defense, her body transforming into that of a panther.
“Down kitty.” A nasally voice says and she suddenly shrinks back down to her cat size.
“Ina!” You call again and she leaps into your arms. “Ekam su elbisivni, os on seye nac ees!” You quickly whisper dashing back into your room before the men can grab you.
“Come out witch.” His voice calls again and you can feel his magic. It’s stronger than yours, enhanced somehow. “Wodniw nepo.” You whisper before launching yourself out of the window and then over the railing of the fire escape. “Evig em a tfos gnidnal!” You mutter again and the second your feet touch the ground you start running.
“I don’t think so.” The dark haired man appears in front of you and you’re suddenly rooted to the spot. “Hello witch. Do you know who I am?” When you don’t answer he sighs heavily, “My name is Dr. Steven Strange and Tony Stark has required your presence at Avengers compound. Not that I like being his personal lackey but if it’ll get him off my back I’ll do it.”
“Wha-?” You mumble as he grabs your wrist, ignoring the hiss from Ina. He pulls you through a portal you’re suddenly outside of the city and in a heavily wooded area. While you’re taking in your suddenly new surroundings he does something by your throat.
“Stark!” Dr. Strange, who is living up to his name, yells and Tony Stark comes stalking toward you.
“Strange.” Tony nods at the man.
“I took her voice so she couldn’t do any spells, give this to him, he’ll know what to do.” Dr. Strange says before he opens the portal again and vanishes.
“You come with me.” Stark says tilting his head toward the compound. You follow him in a daze, your arms wrapped protectively around Ina. If you could get the small black box from him you could get your voice back and get the hell out of here.

Alluring whispers, Chapter 11
Hope had gone through all the emotions the following few days after Loki was captured again.
At first she had been devastated, totally gutted that he was locked up once more. She actually missed his random visits, his touch…
But then she decided that perhaps it was for the best. He’d already marked her and it kind of did mean that he was her Alpha. But at least he hadn’t managed to claim her, so she hoped that perhaps the connection from being marked would dwindle away.
Though it wasn’t quite as easy as she had originally hoped for. She could sense his presence in the building, and she knew when he had been taken to interrogation as she could smell him clearly in the corridor from where he’d been.
It was starting to drive her insane. He was so close, but so far away at the same time.
-
Loki wasn’t giving the team any information. He just constantly had a smug grin plastered on his face. It was making the team suspicious, wondering what his plan was. He barely said anything, unless it was to tease them or to ask about his omega.
‘I don’t like this.’ Natasha said to Bruce and Vision while they watched him on the security camera.
‘It is weird, almost like he wants to be here.’ Said Vision.
While they were watching, they all gave one another a confused look when Loki raised his nose into the air and in-haled deeply. Then the biggest of smirks spread across his face, almost a feral like look. He got up and started pacing in the cell, looking hungry as his nostrils started flaring and his jaw clenched.
‘What the…’ Bruce trailed off, wondering what the heck was going on.
But then something came to his mind and he rushed off to the lab, leaving Natasha and Vision extremely confused.
-
Hope had been healing a broken wrist for Clint, she was just finished when she suddenly doubled over clutching at her stomach, panting.
‘Hope, are you ok?’ Clint asked, concerned.
‘Yeah… Just shooting pains.’ Hope frowned, confused. It wasn’t quite like shooting pains, it was more of a weird tugging sensation inside her.
‘I’m just gonna… go lie down.’ She said quietly and headed out of the healing room to go back to her bedroom.
When she got there, she had broken out into a sweat so decided to try having a shower. But while she was washing her body, it felt like she wanted to tear her skin off. Like there was an itch inside of her she couldn’t get to. And she felt the most intense urge to go to her Alpha and have sex.
‘Shit!’ She hissed, suddenly realising exactly what was happening.
For the rest of the day she struggled. She couldn’t concentrate, even after taking more pills that should’ve tamed down the heat. She tried to heal some agents needing help, but she just couldn’t.
The team were extremely worried about her. There was someone outside of her door constantly, worried that she would try and go to Loki. Which she did try and do, but each time she was marched back to her room or not allowed into the cell area.
Whimpering and sobbing could be heard from her room, it was making it difficult for everyone to cope with. Hearing her like that.
Loki could clearly sense and smell her heat. He was constantly pacing in his cell, he was starting to sweat too. When someone went to try and speak to him, he was angry and rather scary towards them. Even Thor found himself wary of his brother, so refused to even attempt to get him to the interrogation room.
The team were having a meeting when Bruce barged in, looking concerned.
‘We have a big problem.’ He said.
‘What? What is it?’ Tony asked, not liking the tone of his voice.
‘Now that Hope is in heat, it’s only going to get worse over the days and more painful for her unless she can mate with her Alpha… Loki knows she’s in heat, he can obviously smell and sense her. An omega in heat is not something that is easily controlled. I came across old papers about Alphas breaking out of prisons to get to their omegas in heat. I… I don’t think we can contain Loki in his cell while Hope is in heat.’
‘But… she isn’t his omega?’ Natasha said.
‘She is. I think he’s marked her, she has been wearing clothing that cover her neck lately. And the way they are both reacting, I am certain they’ve bonded.’ Bruce swallowed hard.
‘So… we take Hope far away?’ Clint asked.
‘Even that wouldn’t stop them if they’ve bonded.’ Bruce sighed. ‘Somehow, he will find a way to her. And don’t you guys think that it’s an awful coincidence that Loki happened to be captured so easily? I think he planned this.’
The team all shared a look with one another.
‘What do we do?’ Thor asked.
‘I think we give her to him.’ Bruce said.
‘What? We can’t do that! Look at him, he will hurt her.’ Natasha argued.
‘No, he won’t. Alphas don’t harm their omegas.’ Bruce assured her.
Natasha ran her hand down her face. ‘This is literally giving the pray to the predator. If we do this, he has what he wants.’
‘Not quite. I think he wants to be able to break out of that cell to get her. But if we put her in with him, he’s still captured. Then we have more of an upper hand in this game. We then remove her once her heat is over. And it will save Hope going through this pain for a week.’
Everyone knew that what Bruce was saying was right. It was just going to be difficult for them to just hand her over like that.
‘Fine. If that’s what we need to do, then we do it.’ Steve said, taking charge.
‘We better do it quick. I don’t know for sure how powerful Loki is, but with Hope in heat I doubt it would take him long to get out.’ Said Bruce.
Hope was writhing on her bed when Natasha and Tony knocked on her door. She called for them to enter, she was struggling to move.
‘Come on, Hope. We’re taking you to Loki.’ Tony said, motioning for her to go with them.
Hope practically flew off the bed at the thought of getting to be with her Alpha. Natasha noticed her eyes were glazed over, completely over taken by her omega instincts. She shared a worried look with Tony, but there was nothing else they could do.
As soon as Hope was taken into the room where Loki was kept, he lunged towards the front, desperate to get to her. Bruce and Steve were there, to make sure it went ok. They were slightly put off seeing a huge bulge form in Loki’s trousers.
‘My omega.’ Loki growled, licking his lips.
She was shaking so badly now, the closeness of her Alpha. Her heat was raging like crazy. She just needed him. His touch. Anything from him she could get, she would take.
Natasha took her to the door of the cell and once Bruce nodded, she unlocked it and allowed Hope in. There were two doors to his cell, to make sure he couldn’t get out when someone was going in.
Once Hope was in the middle section, they closed the outer door. Loki was right there, waiting for Hope to be released to him. He was almost salivating at the mouth.
As soon as the inner door was released, Loki pounced.

Loki Was Trying to Lose
The theory that Loki was subtly trying to lose to the Avengers is quite a popular one, for good reason. There’s quite a chunk of evidence to support it. Loki’s actions—and lack thereof— throughout Avengers (2012) make very little sense otherwise; they certainly don’t make sense if he was trying to actually take over the planet.
Loki can mind-control people with his scepter. He could turn anyone to his side at all. You’d think this would provide an incredible advantage. If he wanted to win, he would’ve pressed this advantage wherever possible. However....
Based on his spying, Loki would know that Fury would be the head of any effort to stop him from stealing the Tesseract or taking over Earth. But he doesn’t do anything to prevent Fury from getting that far. He doesn’t kill or mind-control Fury. If he’d done the former, he could’ve stopped the Avengers from forming at all. If he’d done the latter, he could’ve had Fury send the Avengers in all the wrong directions, made them look terrible, destroy their heroic image, and tear them apart. It’d be a wonderful opportunity, and all but insure his victory. Yet, he doesn’t.
He has the opportunity to mind-control Steve when they fight. He could pin Steve down in Stuttgart and use the scepter. He could’ve tried mind-controlling Thor when Thor was still down from the stab on Stark Tower. He could’ve tried a different angle with the scepter on Tony to bypass the arc reactor, or use whatever he did to Erik Selvig in the credits scene from Thor (2011). Any one of those could’ve significantly influenced the outcome of his invasion. They would’ve been smart moves; with any one of them fighting for him, Loki would’ve won the Battle of New York. But he doesn’t add them to his own forces.
Actually, there’s more about the scepter than that. The gem in the scepter, the thing that provides the whole ability to mind-control, is the Mind Stone. An Infinity Stone. One of the six cosmic entities that’s been around longer than the universe. These things are a BIG DEAL.
And yet, apparently a non-enhanced, non-mutant human can defy it. I’m talking about Erik Selvig. When he’s making the portal to let in the Chitauri, he apparently resists the control of an Infinity Stone enough to make a back-door way to shut the portal down. That makes approximately no sense. An ordinary human should not be able to resist one of the six most powerful forces in the universe. Even if he did, wouldn’t the guy using the Infinity Stone notice? So, how did he do it? It’d be a lot easier if Loki wanted a quick way to shut the portal down, or wasn’t opposed to it at the very least.
Additionally, why would Loki just drop the scepter so close to the portal generator? Why would he leave it there after that? He could just steer the Chitauri skiff/whatever it’s called back to the tower and pick it up again. It’s not like him to panic and then completely forget that his main weapon exists for the rest of the battle. It makes a lot more sense if that’s where he wanted the scepter to be—right where it was needed most.
Loki canonically has the ability to teleport. It’s stated in Thor: Heroes and Villains in his list of powers and abilities. It’s kind of implied in Thor (2011) as his method of getting to Earth, seeing as no one else seems to know about that visit. Yet he never uses it in this movie. He could’ve escaped Steve and Tony in Stuttgart. He could’ve made off while Thor, Tony, and Steve were fighting in the woods. He could’ve gotten out of his cell in the Helicarrier easily. He wouldn’t have needed Clint and his more voluntary underlings to let him out. (I’ll get back to this later.) He could’ve seriously teleported around to every single Avenger (except Bruce) and killed them on the spot if he so chose. He could’ve even done it publicly, like in the Battle of New York. Why doesn’t he use one of his most powerful abilities? Doesn’t he want to win?
Actually, Loki hardly uses any of his non-physical powers to his advantage. All we get of them are illusions in Stuttgart and the Helicarrier. He also has the following magical abilities:
Teleporting (as I just mentioned)
Shape-shifting
Mind manipulation without directly using the scepter
Telekinesis
Enough other magic to overpower Odin single-handedly
And he uses none of it. None! Shapeshifting alone would be a very powerful tool. He could stand in as anyone. He could fake being an Avenger to further drive them apart. Wasn’t splitting them up from the inside the sort of thing he was going for anyway? Why wouldn’t he use something like this? The non-scepter mind manipulation would also be helpful for dividing the Avengers. If they can’t tell who’s on their side and who’s not, how can they stick together enough to make a coherent plan to stop him? Wouldn’t his other magic be helpful as well? If his other powers are enough to overpower Odin, why wouldn’t he use them in the physical battles with Tony, Thor, or the Hulk? Does he want to get knocked around or something? No way would he spontaneously forget all his powers. Is he deliberately holding back? He kind of has to be....Why would he do that if he actually wanted to win, take over Earth, and give Thanos the Tesseract?
That’s not even the only way he’s holding back. He had the opportunity to kill three Avengers with the abilities he did display. First it’s in Stuttgart. When he’s fighting Steve, he puts the blunt end of the scepter to the back of Steve’s neck to hold him down. If he’d used the blade end right there, or even used one of his knives, he could’ve killed Steve. One less member of the opposition. Next, in Stark Tower, he grabs Tony by the neck and throws him out of the window, leaving Tony enough air and time to deploy his suit to save him. Loki’s far stronger than any human; he could’ve simply broken Tony’s neck or stabbed him, and Tony would’ve had no time to call his suit. Finally, when he’s fighting Thor on the tower, he sticks Thor in the gut with a tiny knife. Thor doubles over for several seconds. Loki has more than enough time to move in with the scepter’s longer blade and stab him again in the back, or shove him over and get to his heart. And yet he simply stands there and waits for Thor to recover. He stands there, letting Thor rush him and body-slam him. Without even one of those three the Battle of New York would’ve been far harder to win, if it was still possible at all.
Loki personalized all of his attacks. He gives every single one of the Avengers a personal reason to fight him. Every single one of them. If he wanted to demoralize them, why would he give them more reason to fight him than before?
I said I’d get back to Clint going to the Helicarrier to get Loki out. We’ve already established that Loki’s perfectly capable of getting out himself via teleportation. So why would he need Clint (or anyone) to come inside the Helicarrier? It’d make perfect sense to have Clint and his other underlings wreak havoc from outside the Helicarrier and destroy the propellers. That wouldn’t risk anyone on his side getting killed, or captured and turned against him. Which is exactly what happens to Clint. Nat knocks him in the head, freeing him from the scepter’s influence and leaving Clint with a very personal reason to join the fight against Loki.
Next there’s Steve. Loki knows about Steve through Clint. He knows that Steve just recently (in Steve’s perception) fought a war with Germany, mostly against someone who made deluded speeches—someone who wanted to take over the world. That’s Steve’s idea of people who want to take over the world, people he needs to stop. What does Loki do in Germany? He makes a deluded speech, which so happens to follow Thanos’ minions values (thus further convincing the Other of his loyalty) publicly, so it’ll be seen—so Steve will notice. When Steve shows up, he smiles.
Next there’s Nat. Loki knows about Nat through Clint as well. He knows what she’s done. He also knows how she operates—by allowing men to underestimate her. That’s her vision of someone who she needs to fight. He fulfills this vision. He manipulates her guilt about her crimes. He threatens someone she cares about. He uses a gendered slur.*
Then it’s Bruce. Clint’s told Loki about him. Bruce hates to be manipulated. He hates and fears losing control of the Hulk. What does Loki do? He manipulates events around Bruce. He makes it as obvious as possible—when the SHIELD agents escort him past the room Bruce is in, he turns and smirks dramatically in Bruce’s direction. He brings up Bruce in his conversation with Fury. And then Nat catches him referring to Bruce during their talk. This stresses Bruce out enough on its own; things get worse when Loki’s rescue part attack, which triggers a Hulk-out.
And then there’s Thor. Loki waits by the Hulk-cage. Obviously Thor would come for him; Thor doesn’t want any more humans to get hurt. Loki traps Thor inside the Hulk-cage. He moves to drop Thor out of the Helicarrier. That might do it. But it then he realizes Coulson’s there. We know Loki could see/hear some of what the Destroyer saw/heard back in Thor (2011) (otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to respond to Thor’s blanket apology). He presumably recognizes that Coulson is someone Thor’s had contact with. What more certain way to turn Thor more fully against him than killing someone Thor’s met in front of him?
Finally it’s Tony, who Clint also told Loki about. Tony’s about as tolerant of being manipulated as Loki’s become in recent years; that is to say, not at all. So Loki goes for a strike where Tony lives. He may or may not know that Tony’s had contact with Coulson as well. If not, it certainly wouldn’t hurt Tony’s drive to fight. If so, it’d be excellent fuel. But anyway, out of all the places he could’ve chosen—out of all the power sources in the world—he chooses Tony’s tower. He strikes right at Tony’s home.
Actually, it’s not just Tony’s home. Steve lives in the area as well. That’s a third of the Avengers. Why New York? NYC isn’t the capitol of any state or country. Wouldn’t it make more sense to go for a capitol—if it has to be in America, Washington D.C., or something. Anything that’d at least have a government to surrender, which could spare him the effort of having to invade the rest of the country. A “surrender or the city gets leveled” would certainly be more effective than trying to invade every single city on the planet. Given his reaction when he finally seems to really see the damage being done...

...we can pretty safely assume that he doesn’t want to invade every city on the planet. And yet Loki attacks NYC with no attempt to figure out if he’s actually making any headway in taking over Earth. That does not sound like the strategy of someone who’s even trying to win.
But why would he betray Thanos? That’s a huge risk. Why would he do it?
There are a couple reasons. Either or both would be viable.
1. Because Thanos and the Black Order were utter sadists to him, and he’s getting back at them by getting their army destroyed, losing their most powerful resource, and having the thing they sent him for in the first place taken out of reach while being dragged off to what’s probably the safest place for him in the universe.
2. Because Thanos and co. want the Tesseract to help kill half the universe, and so giving Thanos what he wants is a terrible idea. Loki wouldn’t want half the universe getting killed—odds are, that’d include Thor or Frigga—and so he does what he can to stop it right under Thanos and the Others’ noses.
So, besides the fact that Marvel will confirm this about never, this theory has a lot going for it.
(*that’s my in-universe interpretation, anyway.)
Any thoughts?

Comments: This takes place during Thor (2011) when Loki was King of Asgard.
Tumblr media
From the moment Loki ascended to the Asgardian throne, you felt good about his reign. You certainly didn’t hate him, not like everyone else, not the way you were meant to. Part of you believed in his cause. The Frost Giants had been a terrible enemy of Asgard and it almost angered you that prior Kings had neglected their destruction for so long.
However, you chose to stay loyal to Thor and all the Kings before him. Odin was everything and his heir was Thor and Odin banished Thor for the exact thing Loki was trying to do now. Odin wouldn’t approve of Loki’s actions, so neither would you. So, when it came time to pledge allegiance, you looked to Loki with distaste and turned your head the other way while others knelt at his feet. It was that action that peaked his interest in you. He wanted to know the one who so blatantly turned their head at him without knowing him. Others knelt as his feet while Sif and the Warriors Three looked to Loki with disgust, but they knew Loki, and even they knelt to his reign. But you didn’t, not yet.
So, on the night of his ceremonial coronation, he sent for you. You were reading peacefully within the walls of your home when you heard a knock at your door. You had assumed it was your friend, (Y/F/N), making another surprise visit. Usually you would be somewhat annoyed by this, but as you open the door to see two guards at your door, you wished it had been who you had initially believed it to be. You knew why they were there, but you didn’t know what would happen to you if you went with them, so you slammed the door and ran. Running from the guards and believing you could get away was kind of a stupid thought, but you would have to try. You would not succumb to Loki, so this felt like the only option.
You had just gotten through your back door, when you ran into what initially felt like a wall but was actually the chest you had walked away from earlier in the day.
“Going somewhere, darling?” Loki asked, licking his lips before looking down at you with a smirk.
You staggered back a bit and for a minute you were taken back by his looks. He was much more attractive than you remembered from before. If you were being honest, you found him overwhelming, he couldn’t know that you thought that though.
You straightened yourself out and with confidence spoke, “As a matter a fact, I was, so, if you’ll excuse me, I would like to pass.”
“When your King summons you, you go. I don’t take well to those who disobey me.” Loki replied. “And I would hate to punish you.”
His words seemed to hold a deeper meaning and that made you catch your breath. Before you could respond though, Loki grabbed you with one arm and threw you over his shoulder. His motion was quick and graceful. He made it seem as though you weighed nothing. That realization made you wonder, just how strong was Loki and what exactly was he capable of?
“Put me down!” You squeaked.
You tried to squirm out of his hold, but it was hopeless, Loki was like some kind of titan. “What kind of man treats a woman this way then has the audacity to call himself a King?!”
Your words provoked something in Loki, he stopped in his tracks and his muscles stiffened. You were back on the ground in a flash, this time caged between his arms and pressed against a wall.
“Listen up, darling, I have waited my entire life to be King and I am not about to let a mewling quim like you ruin it for me with your defiance. I don’t want to hear another word out of that tiny mouth of yours for a long while.” Loki said harshly.
You wanted to say something back, but you could see it in his eyes that you would regret it. You had never seen an anger quite like Loki’s, it was somewhat intriguing.
The way back to the castle was silent. All that could be heard was Loki’s angered breathing. Occasionally you would glance in his direction, you could tell he was deep in thought and part of you wanted to ask what he was thinking about. You weren’t sure why, but you were drawn to him. Loki had done nothing but treat you badly and you knew that, but you couldn’t help but feel the need to know him…
When you reached your destination, Loki up and left you with no word as to where he was going or when or if he would return. The guards grabbed hold of you and led you in the direction opposite to him. A part of you was disappointed but you quickly dismissed that feeling, wanting to stay loyal to Thor and Odin.
You suspected you were being sent to a prison cell of some kind given that you technically committed an act or treason and disrespected the ‘King,’ so when you were greeted with a living room area, you were pleasantly surprised. You were confused but you certainly couldn’t complain.
“Wait here.” One of the guards spoke before slamming the doors of the room shut behind you.
You weren’t really sure what you were waiting for or why you had to wait, but you decided to take the time to observe your surroundings. The room was equipped with a long couch that sat in the center of the room with two accompanying chairs besides it. The fabric was a deep red colour and look soft. It went well with the golden walls and brown accents. You were quite frankly baffled by the beauty of the room. Normally you don’t care about what a room looked like but this one gave you an odd feeling, it kind of felt like home.
After waiting what felt like hours, you found yourself sprawled across the couch fiddling with the corners of one of the throw pillows. That was until the door opened and Loki sauntered in with a mischievous smile and not his royal attire? Loki had ditched the thick armor and green cape for a more casual look. Instead he wore simple black pants and the under layer of his armor. You shot up from your spot and stood as tall as you could. Not that it really mattered because Loki, who now stood mere inches from you, towered over you. He was a force to be reckon with and you and him both knew it.
“Tell me, why is it that you don’t like me, darling?” Loki asked, leaning even closer to you.
“You haven’t proven to me that you deserve my loyalty.” You answered as firmly as you could.
Loki’s mischievous smile became more of a small smile after you spoke. He moved behind you, slowly and in close proximity. You tried to take a step away from him and turn to face him, but Loki grabbed your shoulders before you could and leant forward again.
“And what exactly do I need to do to get you to be loyal to me?” Loki asked, moving his hands softly up and down your arms. “What do I have to do, to get you to kneelfor me?” Loki whispered in your ear before placing a feathery kiss just beneath your earlobe.
Your skin felt like it was on fire. You wanted to pull away and stand your ground, but you couldn’t bring yourself to move. What you really wanted to do was lean back, and it took everything in you not to. However, Loki took your immobility as a sign and stepped forward so his chest grazed against your back. You had been in your night gown when Loki and the guards came for you. It was made up of thin silk, ended about mid thigh and the straps were skinny and flimsy; that meant that you felt every inch of him that was touching you. You felt Loki’s chest skimming your shoulder blades, you felt the callouses on his hands that were resting on your waist but most of all, you felt a bulge against your bum that you were certain wasn’t his thigh. The fact that he wanted you was obvious, what you didn’t know was just how badly you wanted him. You tried to resist it, you didn’t want him to win but the more you felt him and the heat that radiated off his body, the more your strength faltered. He was a predator and you were his prey, and for the first time in your life, you didn’t mind.
“You could ask nicely.” You whispered lustfully.
You heard a low growl from Loki before you were flipped around and consumed by his lips. The kiss was rough and graceful; a combination you didn’t think was possible up until now. You moved your hands so they were wrapped around his neck and he moved his hands from your waist to your ass and gave it a firm squeeze. You couldn’t help but moan which Loki happily took advantage of, slipping his tongue between your lips. His lips alone were enough to make your core throb.
You decided kissing wasn’t enough, so you jumped and wrapped your legs around him, needing to be closer. Loki held you up with ease, continuing his assault on your lips as he turned towards the couch where he laid you down beneath him. He pressed himself against your core and you gasped at the minor friction.
“Loki…” You whispered bucking towards him, needing more.
The sound of his name escaping your lips was all the motivation he needed. Loki stopped his attack on your lips and began leaving open mouth kisses along your jaw and down your neck. When he reached the top of your breasts and fabric of your gown, he moved away from you and tore your dress apart, leaving you in nothing but your panties. The air against your breasts caused your nipples to harden, and in Loki’s mind, you were the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.
With that, Loki gave you a light peck on the lips before sliding down to your breasts where he grazed one of your nipples with his tongue then blew against the skin, causing you to arch your back into him with a whine. He continued these kinds of actions on your breasts until they were raw and sore to the touch.
Once Loki was satisfied with what he had done, he began kissing down your stomach and over your panties, kissing you where you needed him most through the thin fabric. You lifted your hips towards him, but he grunted and pushed his hand against your stomach, forcing you to stay put. With his other hand, Loki replaced where his mouth had been and began rubbing your clit with his thumb. He was kneeling in front of you, watching how you reacted to his touch.
“Please, Loki.” You moaned, wanting nothing more than to feel him inside of you.
“What was that?” Loki asked, smiling maliciously. He was going to make you beg for him.
“Please… I need you.” You answered, moving your leg up to rub against his crotch.
“Fuck, darling.” Loki groaned, slightly faltering his movements on your bundle of nerves. “I’m trying to be good to you, but if you continue, this is going to end a lot sooner than you and I would like it too.”
As soon as those words left his mouth Loki moved your leg back to where it was originally and traced his fingers up your thigh and stopped at the hem of your panties. With one swift motion he had your underwear discarded on the ground below you, leaving you completely exposed to him. You could visibly see the tent in pants grow at the sight of you beneath him, vulnerable and desperate for his touch.
You two were in a trance for a moment, stuck in each other’s lust filled eyes. There was more to the man above you than an unliked ruler. You saw pain inside of him and for a moment your heart stung at the thought of what he might have gone through in his past. However, those thoughts didn’t last long as Loki’s hands started roaming your thighs, tracing his fingers towards your entrance.
“You’re already so wet for me, darling.” Loki groaned, pushing one of his fingers through your folds.
You moaned loudly, bucking your hips toward him, looking for more friction. The way you reacted to him drove Loki crazy and he couldn’t wait much longer. He added another finger and started pumping roughly, scissoring his fingers every so often. This alone made your toes begin to curl. You were close, and you wanted nothing more than to release the tension building inside of you.
“Oh my gods yes, don’t stop.” You hissed lustfully, moving your hands to grab onto his biceps.
You couldn’t help but dig your nails into him as you neared your finish. With two more rough motions, Loki had you withering beneath him, moaning sweet nothings at the release he had just given you. He didn’t stop his movements so you could ride out your high; but, as soon as it was over, his lips were against yours. Loki wasn’t going to spend any more time not being buried inside of you and you certainly didn’t mind.
You reached down to the strings of Loki’s pants and opened them with ease. You pushed past his underwear and felt him, giving him a few pumps before sliding both garments down his long legs. Loki quivered at your touch and pressed himself into your palm, kicking his pants off. He hiked up one of your legs and wrapped it around his waist, lining himself up with your entrance. Placing his forehead against yours, he pumped himself a few times.
“Are you ready?” Loki asked, almost painfully.
You kissed him passionately and pressed him towards you with your leg as a response and Loki didn’t need anything more. With one hard thrust, Loki filled you up completely. He groaned into the crook of your neck, lacing your hands with his and placing them over your head.
“You’re so fucking tight, darling.” Loki groaned through clenched teeth, letting you adjust to his large size before he began pounding into your core.
His movements were rough and quick, hitting the spot that blurred your vision with the tip of his cock. You were a moaning mess beneath this beast of a man. Your back was arched, and your hips instinctually moved to meet each thrust adding more friction to the already overwhelming experience; every part of your being was consumed by Loki.
He was a predator and you were his prey.
Earlier today you may have been repulsed by that thought; but, in that moment, there wasn’t a single thought that could arouse you more.
Loki soon found a rhythm he was comfortable with and began sucking on you neck and shoulders in a way that was bond to leave marks. You could feel your coil building fast and you knew you wouldn’t last much longer.
“Loki… oh gods, Loki.” You whined, not being able to form a proper sentence.  Still, Loki understood and slid his hand between your bodies to rub rough circles on your clit.
“Oh!” You yelled, scraping your nails down his back.
“Say my name.” Loki groaned out, his thrusts were getting sloppier, so you knew he was close as well.
“Lo—“ You began.
“Not that one.” Loki interrupted.
You knew what he wanted and part of you hesitated but that hesitation soon disappeared when Loki’s thrusts went even deeper into your core, causing a whole new wave of pleasure to wash over you.
“MY KING!” You screamed, your orgasm washing over you like tidal waves, your walls clenching around Loki’s cock, pushing him over the edge as well.
The two of you were riding out your highs in complete and utter ecstasy. As Loki filled you up, you felt complete. For a brief time, you two were one. He completed you and you completed him, and it felt surreal. Panting above you, Loki halted his thrusts, resting inside of you for a while before pulling out and shifting the two of you so you were lying next to one another.
“I think it’s safe to say that we might have worked out our difference, right darling?” Loki chuckled, pulling you close to his side.
You rested your head on his chest and moved your hand so you could trace his chest. “You took the whole asking nicely thing quite seriously. The least I could do is give you a chance.” You responded, smiling into his neck.
You felt at peace, laying in his arms. You completed each other, not only physically but mentally as well. Loki was practically a stranger but somehow it was as though you had known him your entire life.
Maybe a part of you did… maybe a part of you always have.

Off The Rails Part 1: Thor
Tumblr media
Masterlist
Part 2: Valkyrie/Brunhilde    Part 3: Loki
DARK Thor Odinson x Plus Size Reader (Non-Con)
Warnings: VERY DARK THOR! NON-CON! RAPE! ASSHOLE THOR!
A/N: I found this prompt that spoke of Thor going off the deep end after Loki’ death & after he comes back to earth. He accidentally kills someone the first time in rage, but after that he enjoys the power that it made him feel. Well, needless to say I came up with a twisted thought and my muses go, HEY! What if he ignores other good thoughts & goes for that woman he had been admiring!? So, you get dark Thor & it may not end well.
This took on three parts, each is 3,500-4,500 words these are dark, but they come to a culmination of a decent ending I hope.
 Words: +4,200
The first time It happened, let’s call it the turning, the unfortunate after math of losing the war with Thanos, loosing Asgard, Loki, the events that led up to Sakaar, hell the last seven fucking years that the god of thunder had to endure with one disappointment after another all coming to a violent messy head on this night. Wait sorry, this morning, it was 1:13 am to be exact, a quiet, actually clean ally way not far from the compound, looking down at the thing that was once a mortal, though be it a very despicable one in his own eyes.
Broad fist still balled, blood was splattering his face and clothes & was even sure that there were bits of flesh splattered on him as well. Breathing had finally calmed, looking over his handy work, not even remembering if the bloody gore that was smashed into the pavement was man or woman, let alone the true reason that made the once gentle god of thunder snap. All brute force, never called out to the heavens for Stormbreaker or the lighting that he had harnessed the use of thanks to all said events.
A quiet sigh passing blood splattered lips as tensed body straitened, knowing he should fell bad, enraged at himself for doing what he, one fist uncurling to push back through shaggy dirty blonde hair that was growing out but looked to not be regaining its once golden glow. Though he didn’t feel remorse for what he done, what was one mortal anyway, especially after the snap, these, creatures, they just moved on it seemed days after someone died, no honor, no care really for the ones who passed or gave their lives to keep this shit hole of a realm alive.
Looking away & out to the quiet empty street, the horror that he had created already to the back of his mind & thinking of the one person that he had taken note of that thankfully had survived the snap. Y/N, that mortal perplexed him to say the least, deep in thought as he stopped before entering the light of a street lamp, recalling the curvaceous woman’s smile & how she treated the remaining team when they returned from Wakanda.
Y/H/C hair pulled back, she always made a point to be on their floor when they woke up or whenever anyone called, not to mention how patiently the mortal had put up with the hateful snaps & the like since everyone had been on edge for the last year. Staying hidden as he thought of the mortal & how he wanted to ravage her body endlessly as he looked up to the sky, he knew where Y/N lived. The woman was an agent, no, wait, she was actually a soldier hired by Steve himself to put up with all the teams bullshit.
Deep breath, blood stained hand slipping into his pocket for the cell phone to look at the time, unlocking it to send a text to Y/N, maybe she would answer, but stopped short & locked it back. No, she needed a personal visit, this couldn’t wait.
Cold air raking across bare leg had it pulled back under the covers, head pulling further into the cocoon she had made, the heat must have kicked off, explanation for the draft. Roiling to plump stomach to stretch to look over at the clock that showed 1:46 am & mind thinking of what was going to happen at the compound today. A shift to her right making her pause, furrowing sleepy brow as a hand wrapped around the cold grip of the pistol was holstered on the headboard in reach.
Without another sound the blanket was ripped free before Y/N could roll to her back, a scorching body fell over her as massive calloused hand clasped over her mouth while the other all but crushed the hand that reached for the pistol to make it let go & pull the hand to ample chest. Cold jeaned thighs spreading her own, this person was strong, they couldn’t be of earth, no way, hand releasing her wrist to go to her throat to hold tight while the hand released her mouth & felt it snaking between them.
Managing to look back enough to see the flash of mismatched eyes & shaggy blond hair swearing it was speckled with blood. Yea, that was blood, it was on his hands, on the one that was on her mouth, the one that had pulled his pants down & now wrapped in the elastic of the boy shorts she wore.
“Thor,” a raspy voice wheezed before the calloused hand wrapped around soft throat squeezed it off to squeak, man hood slipping between spread thighs to probe at unprepared cunt.
Holy shit! The god was way more of a god than she thought, squirming to get away but knew it was no use, he could easily snap her neck if he wanted, a silent scream leaving her gapping mouth as he forced himself into unready hole to rip into it. It burned, it was excruciating, nails digging into the wrist that was holding the hand to her throat screwing eyes shut as she felt the other hand anchor next to her.
“Don’t fight,” came the familiar but then again unfamiliar voice of the god she knew as Thor, a pant in shivering ear as he buried his scorching head into the crook of trembling neck.
“Don’t fight me Y/N,” he grunted with a painful shove to finally seat inside of velvet soft cunt, hand tightened to keep the shrill scream that he knew was wanting to spew forth quiet allowing her just enough to breath.
Y/N was kind to him, had been very understanding of them all, then she would understand this. Strong hips moving up & down to force back into clenching cunt. The god not sure how much longer he could keep this up, it felt as if the harder Y/N fought, though it got her nowhere, the less control he had over his release.
“Thor…,” came a weak croak, obvious he had loosened his grip in the fast approaching release or meaning to as he felt his cock swell in begging cunt that seemed to finally accept his girth.
“This isn’t you OK? Let me…,” Y/N tried but massive hand squeezed tight the instant it seized the god, letting out a ragged breath that hung in the air, the massive blond collapsing on top of her & pressing thick frame into the mattress as he panted with his release.
Finally, Thor released her for breath, sucking in a lung full to choke on the stench of sex, mind still reeling & body shaking at what had just happened. It was surreal, the god that laid over shivering body ultimately rolling off to button his pants & move about the room. Y/N was to in shock & pain to really want to move but forced herself to roll to her side to look down at the foot of the bed where the god stooped to pick up the cover & throw it back over Y/N before disappearing into the bathroom.
The water cutting on, splashing in the sink as if someone was cleaning off, then shutting off, the echo of a washrag being wrung out reaching roaring ears but not registering what it was for. Body shivering now & jolting as the covers where delicately pulled back. The thick framed woman quick to set up, back slamming hard into the headboard not making a sound as the god sat gingerly & paid her fretting no mind.
Calloused hand pulling the ruined boy shorts off to grab the knee closest to him to spread her open to him the mortal jolting as the wash cloth passed gently between sore folds to get her cleaned. Hands going to the wrist as a small whimper escaped at how painfully sore aching cunt was, the god sighing out as he realized he had made her bleed.
Hands holding to the wrist between her legs, Y/N looked the god over in the dim light that filtered in from outside, no mistaking the blood smeared all over him pondering what had happened as another whimper escaped at the fill of him making sure she was clean one last time. Surprised Thor finally met betrayed gaze when he pulled away, the god taking her in before pulling the cover back over shivering form.
Without a word the god got to his feet, tossed the rag in the dirty clothes hamper, stepped through her living room opened & locked the door behind him to leave Y/N clinging to the cover trying to wrap her mind around what had just happened.
Tumblr media
It was agony walking into the compound at 6 am, that was the usual time the team started to stir, glad she had Nano skin to hide the ugly bruise that encircled tender neck, but it didn’t make it any easier to swallow, breath or walk for that matter. Stepping onto the elevator, pushing the events as far back as possible she had a job to do & Y/N needed to know how the god was going to react.
One boot onto the floor & immediately eyes fell on the god himself, sitting at the end of the corridor on the couch. Not turning his head but the soldier seen the glint in his eyes, more importantly the scared right one that glittered as it moved to look at her. The woman’s attention quickly averted to the raccoon that stumbled out of his own room, looking drunk.
“Jesus Rocket,” Y/N breached out, throwing her arm in the other strap of her book bag, wireless earbud in her ear as she helped the snarling raccoon get to his feet, ignoring the insult to let him be obvious he couldn’t hold himself up as she lifted over her shoulder, a grunt of pain leaving her from the ache the move caused.
“Put me down,” he slurred out to Y/N hitting the backpack but stopping to dig through it to find she had picked up the things he had asked about the other day.
“Still want me to put you down,” Y/N spoke, ignoring Thor as she carried Rocket to the sitting area to place him in his junked-up corner, gingerly sliding the pack off to pull out all the scavenged tech she had found in the lab.
“You can carry me any time,” he slurred but less drunken as he kissed her cheek before she stood to carry the pack over to the kitchen to see if more coffee was needed.
It made her heart race to look at the god, but he raped her, plain & simple. Though it seemed it would need to be kept to herself, suffer in silence as she opened the top cabinet for a familiar hot body to brush by, a ghosting of fingertips over the pistol that was holstered at the small of her back. Son of a bitch, what a real piece of shit.
“Did you pick up the paper,” Thor began casually Y/N hinting to the pack.
So that is how it was to be, the curvaceous woman thought. Well she didn’t endure all the hell of becoming a marine & SHIELD training to not be able to deal with this. Y/N turning to look over the god, watching him with hate as he reached into her pack as he always did waiting for him to look at her.
“You making a list for the team today,” Thor spoke casually, he seen the hate spark in Y/E/C eyes & like the dead body he left lying in the ally, he didn’t care, she was his now, nothing was changing that.
“Yeah, you write down what you wanted,” she snipped, showing defiance.
Damn, something the god was hoping wouldn’t rear its ugly head, well she would have to learn then wouldn’t she.
“It's in my room on my desk, you…,” he began before Y/N sweetly cut him short.
“Then you can run get it really quick. I need to go see if I can get Steve out of the bed this morning, F.R.I.D.A.Y informed me he has cut off his alarm & hasn’t rolled out of bed yet,” Y/N smiled with sass, pushing off the counter to take a step out of the kitchen & down the corridor.
Thor taking a step around the refrigerator to follow thick figure down the hall with his gaze, fuck, hopefully he want kill her before he gets her trained like he wants.
Tumblr media
This time he remembered it was a woman, bloodied boots stepping into Y/N’ apparent, looking over to the counter to note the bottle of whisky left out with the glass empty & the clock on the microwave reading 2:56 am. Gaze setting on the .45 that sat next to the bottle, each bullet sitting up right in an neat row, the gun broken down into as small of parts as was possible & arranged neatly. The god knew she had dark thoughts before he started coming to her, teaching Y/N how he wanted HIS woman to behave.
Heavy steps in a hurry to reach the bedroom to find her laid on her side, blankets tossed to the floor, hair in a mess. Taking his time, he slowly approached, putting a knee on the bed as he laced calloused fingers through Y/H/C tresses to startle his mortal awake, hands flying to the one tangled in damp hair. The god fisting it tight to pull her up off the bed forcefully, making the mortal kneel on the mattress, angered at what he found on the kitchen counter.
“I’ve waited too long to return to teach you wat I expect of you haven’t I,” Thor began darkly, voice low as her lips clamped shut, jerking her to sit up straighter, hand going to soft throat prepared to squeeze if she tried to scream.
“I see the way the others look at you,” Thor admitted, Y/E/C orbs squinting in confusion at why it mattered, it made this the second time he returned to her having only been a week since his first visit, the god having taken to stalking her while at the compound & swearing he was doing the same outside of the place.
“You reek,” were the first words to tumble out waiting for the squeeze that didn’t come just yet.
“So sassy,” Thor smiled darkly still holding tight to Y/H/C hair having to be careful he didn’t pull to hard or he would snap her neck as she struggled with him.
“At least take a shower,” she snarled out, hand finally tightening to quiet her as devilish thoughts crossed his mind & watching the light fade in her eyes.
“Hmmm, sounds like a good idea. You could use one as well,” Thor snipped back keeping hold to her hair to jerk the struggling mortal into his arms hauling her over his shoulder to carry into the bathroom, Y/N head swimming from the whisky & now this.
“You have drunk too much tonight Y/N, but don’t worry I will help you work it off before you have to be at work,” Thor smiled as he let her to the tub floor, glaring at him through her eyelashes.
Nothing, Y/N could do nothing to stop this, Y/E/C orbs following him as he stepped into the shower with his clothes still on covered in gore once again.
“What is wrong with you? This isn’t…,” Y/N began before a hand wrapped around tender throat to prompt her to hush even though he didn’t put any pressure to it, swallowing hard as she continued to glare up at him.
“You have no right to lecture me on who I am & am not MY lady. I seen the whisky, the gun, I know what you planned to do but didn’t,” Thor began before she cut him off.
“Yeah & you can blame yourself for that,” Y/N spat hand flying to the wrist that held the massive hand to her throat putting pressure.
“So feisty tonight little one. Looks like this will be another rough session,” he smiled darkly as he pulled her to his lips harshly to bloody them in a heated kiss, especially when she refused to allow his tongue entrance for a taste.
Reacting quick Y/N grabbed for his hair to jerk him away & kicking out to catch his groin, but he easily stepped back out of the way with a dark laugh on her lips.
“I am a god little one, you should submit, you are to belong to me for the rest of your life,” he chuckled, hands releasing to take her wrist & pin them over her head against the cold tub surround.
“I belong to no one, you're nothing but a tyrant! What happened to you! You…,” Y/N bit out now, one hand taking her wrist & the other finding it's home on her throat once more.
“Mind your tongue, I have seen far worse things than you can fathom sweetheart…”
“It gives you no right to treat me like a play toy…,” she snapped out, more pressure, darkness creeping in.
“I care not for the formalities of this realm any longer! So, you will do as I say & be what I want! YOU are mine Y/N! Your body, mind & soul belong to me now! The sooner you accept your fate the sooner it gets easier!”
It was echoes, it bounded in her skull & made it ache. Trying to twist free as the god continued to rant, about what she wasn’t sure, the last words she remembered was belonging to him, the god that held tightly to her throat trying to tell him to let her go that she was, was…
Y/N woke in time to be flung to the bed on her back with a bounce, the god falling over top of her & not having the strength to fight him off, but like she really could. Letting out a yelp as he slid into unprepared cunt, hands falling to heated chest in vain to keep him pushed off of her, but not long as they were gathered in his hand & the other to her throat. One last floundering act of defiance & her body fell limp to the mattress, might as well allow him to finish.
Thankfully he didn’t take long, quick to get up & do like he done that first night. Cleaning her up, throwing the blanket over her & leaving. Though this time when she got up to head into the compound she realized he had taken her pistol & with it the whisky.
Tumblr media
Thoughts of going to Steve about the god crossed her mind a thousand times, as well as the others, but she knew it would do no good, it would endanger them because there was none other except for the Hulk that could stop him & even then it was iffy. The sound of the mattress shifting under aching body as this time it didn’t seem he was about to just leave after clean up. Tonight, Thor was sitting next to her hand carding through wet hair after the recent shower he gave her, especially after learning that mortal women can get sick.
“You're not fighting me as much sweetheart, that’s progress,” he praised, Y/N pulling the blanket tight but not daring to move away from him, one of the first thigs he claimed to have taught her, hand sliding to soft cheek as a rustle of paper got her attention.
Shit, she forgot to put her notes up this evening, Thor laying the piece of paper down with dates written on it, dates that corresponded with him coming to her & deaths.
“It appears my little mortal is a smart creature,” Thor began sounding proud, but she knew the recoil was coming & braced for what he thought was a suitable lesson.
“I'm trying to help you,” she breathed out sleepily, eyes fluttering closed at the thoughts of what he was about to say or do, cherishing over soft cheek as he took in a breath before continuing.
“You are helping little one. That is why you are moving into my room at the compound. That & the fact I don’t like how the other agents look at you, I need you close, the team already thinks that we are dating, it will raise no suspension,” Thor began, taking the paper to tear it to pieces.
“Get ready for work, you're going in early & sleeping out the day in my room,” Thor admitted getting to his feet & hinting she do the same.
“No,” Y/N whimpered, she usually got to sleep off the ache when he was done with her before having to be at the compound eyes snapping open to meet his gaze expecting anger & jolting upright as he took a step back to the bed, pants still undone.
“You can’t protest sweetheart, you know to do as I say or there will be consequences,” Thor began quietly, stepping close, the first time she had shivered.
Y/E/C eyes darted around the room, eyes falling on the open bedroom door, though she had no clothes on she knew there was a way to get to her keys & get to her vehicle that was in the parking garage, there was cameras they would see she would have proof.
“Y/N, don’t you…,” Thor began, but too late as the soldier bolted out of the door, to the living area hand grabbing keys on the way & jerking the door open to run down the hall to the stairs.
Slamming into the stair door, Y/N didn’t think just reacted as she jumped from flight to flight, bare feet slapping the tile & slamming into the bottom stair well door in not time. Sprinting across the parking garage, Jeep in sight the stair well slamming open behind her, but she didn’t hesitate, getting in & starting the jeep up to speed out of the parking garage & onto the street.
Quick to hit a button on the dash that turned all the traffic lights in her favor, Y/N knew her safest bet was out of town, or she hoped, she could lose the jeep she had enough gear in the back to survive & make it off the radar, she could do it.
Except 5 miles out of town found her laying upside down in a ditch having taken a turn to fast, glass shattered all over & cutting what flesh was exposed. Y/N had only managed an oversized hoodie once out of town, this was it, this was her break down, she could do this no more, hand reaching to unlatch the seat belt & bracing for the impact on the hard roof of the jeep. Digging into the chaos for her pack & dragging it out with soar body what was once the front windshield of the vehicle.
Standing the instant a cold blast of air hit unclothed lower half, shivering violently, throwing the duffle bag down to pull out boots & pants. Stepping in the dirt to pull it on to brush the glass & like off bare feet to pull the boots on thankful they had a liner in them that acted as socks for occasions such as this.
Taking a step forward, Y/N never realized just how bad she was till she fell to aching knees, looking out across the sky to note the sun rising as pain shot through her entire body the rush was wearing off & the realization of what had transpired set in. Tears pricking, streaming down bloody face as she forced herself to numb legs to crawl out of the ditch & onto the highway to walk the road.
Though she only made it 30 foot before a blinding light crashed before her, shielding tired eyes, letting out a defeated shuttering sigh to swallow hard. The light subsiding, the sound of boots striking the pavement had the soldier hanging throbbing head & falling to her knees. She just couldn’t, this, she was done, body shivering as shoulders shook with silent sobs, doubled over with the pack on her back & head buried in bloody hands.
She only looked up when they paused in front of her, looking to the toes of the boots, heart hammering hard in sore chest & not wanting to look up to face punishment for running. Reaching up quick to grab to cool leathers & burry her face into their thigh to begin pleading for forgiveness. A lithe hand gently falling to soothe over the upset creature that clung to a muscular yet feminine thigh.
“As much as I love the begging,” a female voice began Y/N looking up to the tanned skinned woman that wore white & gray armor.
Y/N pushed away but fell to her ass unable to scoot away as the woman, the Valkyrie stalked forward & knelt before her to look her over.
“How about I take you back with me? I would like to have you for myself,” she smiled darkly reaching out to grab Y/N by the baggy hoody to pull busted lips to her own before straitening to jerk Y/N back to her thigh with a command to hold on as light swallowed them both up the instant she called out to someone that she was ready to go.

Meeting the God of Thunder and Its Effects
(Chapter 4 of Not Alone Anymore)
Peter had met practically all the Avengers at this point. He loved seeing Aunt Tasha, Uncle Clint, and uncle Rhodey regularly. Got to see Uncle Bruce and Steve on occasions when his dad had and the Avengers had missions. But he had yet to meet Thor. His dad had told him stories of him which made him want to meet him more and more. He felt like a broken record coming home from school if he saw his dad was talking to another avenger.
“Did Thor come today?” peter asked hopefully looking at Tony.
“No Pete, he still in Asgard” tony answered “once he decides to grace us with his presence you’ll be the first to know” tony said while smirking obviously use to hearing peter ask.
“Why hasn’t he visited us since the battle against the aliens?” peter asked
“I don’t know kid I’ve never been to Asgard, but he’s probably too busy being a prince or king dealing with his brother who sent those aliens” Tony said nonchalantly.
“Thor is a king?” peter looked dumbfounded
“Well I think he’s a prince but I didn’t pay attention to half what he said when he was here, was kind of busy fighting aliens.” Tony said
“Dad I want to meet him please can you call him please???” peter begged
Tony put down his tablet and gave his son full focus
“Pete I have no way of contacting Point Break unfortunately, not like cell phones can connect through space I’m sorry kiddo.” Tony said sincerely
Peter pouted and stomped to his room. Tony just shook his head.
He thought any time you want to pop in point break that be great. I rather not have to deal with an angry tween for long.
Luckily for Tony he didn’t have to wait long.
About 3 days later was in his office working on Paperwork Pepper demanded was important for Stark industries. Tony tried his best to push it off but couldn’t so was lost in thought when he heard crash of thunder up above him. He looked out his window and saw no cloud in the sky. Tony instantly grinned and walked out of the room pulling out his phone dialing Happy’s Number.
“Hey Hap go pick the kid up from school now” tony stated
“Now? Boss is Peter ok? School isn’t over yet?”  Happy asked
“Yeah he’s fine we just got an unexpected visitor and I know the kid will bite my head off if I make him wait to see him.” tony said laughing
“Alight on my way boss” Happy said with a smirk
Tony placed his phone in his pocket as his got to the common area and saw Thor Talking with Steve. Tony laughed
“I see Point Break finally deemed of us worthy of his presence” tony quipped making Steve smirk slightly
Thor walked over and shook Tony’s hand “Man of Iron Have you been well? I apologize for being away long fixing the Bifrost took longer than we expected even with the tesseract.” Thor replied
“Things take time I understand, but my god my kid wouldn’t stop asking when you coming to visit” tony said with a smile.
“Oh yes the little one where is the little Stark now? I’ll say hello to calm your nerves” Thor said with a grin
“He’s on his way home for school should be home any minute” tony answered as he heard the elevator doors open peter walked in throwing his backpack off his shoulder.
“Dad? Why did I leave school early happy wouldn’t tell me any-“peter stopped midsentence when he saw Thor on the couch next to his dad.
“I told you I tell you fist kiddo, I wasn’t waiting for you to get out of school then have to deal with you throwing a hissy fit over why I didn’t tell you sooner so I got you out of school, thank me later” tony said with a grin walking into the kitchen with Steve
“Should you really trust Thor alone with Peter?” Steve joked
“God no, I’ll keep a safe distance plus J alert me if anything happens?”
“Right away, Sir” Jarvis Responded
Steve shook his head and laughed.
Peter hadn’t said a word since Tony left the room he was too shocked he was in a room alone with the god of thunder.  He’s seen glimpses of him from when he helped his dad stop the aliens but he didn’t physically get to meet him until now.  Thor spoke first.
“Little one the man of iron tells me you were driving him crazy by asking when you get to meet me? Now you meeting me and you cannot speak?”
Peter spoke very quietly “my dad told me some stories about you I wanted to know more, you’re cool” peter felt embarrassed
“Well that’s nice to know the man of iron tells his child bed times stories about me” Thor said with a smirk “I’ll tell you whatever stories you like to know”
Peter smiled “my name is Peter by the way you don’t have to call me little one.”
Thor gave a small chuckle “alight peter, what would you like to know”
Peter gave big smile “Are you a king?”
“I was one of two princes under my father Odin he offered the title of king to Asgard to me but I turned it down.” Thor answered
“Why?” peter replied shocked
“I rather be a good man than a great king, there’s too much hate that goes into being a king so I rather protect Asgard from outside the throne.” Thor replied simply “this way I can also be a part of other groups as well like the Avengers visit more often” this made peter smile
“I get your reasoning for why you turned your dad down, but at least we get to see you more.” Peter said with a smirk
“You are very bright definitely stark’s kid.” Thor said grinning “the man of Iron has offered me a room her so when I’m on Midgard or earth as you would know I’ll be very close.”
“That’s awesome to know” peter said
Tony had been overhearing there conversation and finally felt like peter was in safe hands and walked to his lab. Peter noticed his exit.
“Anything else you would like to know peter?” Thor asked
“lots but hmm I guess what’s on my mind now is the aliens my dad only has told me bits and pieces about the battle I don’t know why he won’t tell me more” peter asked nervously.
“Well I can tell you some but some is a story for the man of iron to tell it’s not my place alright?” Thor said rubbing his neck.
“Ok”
Thor described Loki and the aliens. Described the tesseract to him described fighting with the hulk fighting iron man,(what dad never told me he fought you), fighting with the avengers in new York against the aliens, the portal, hulk beating up Loki. Then the aliens being defeated
“How were they defeated?” peter asked
“Uhm” Thor said nervously
Tony was down in his lab currently working on his newest porotype suit when he heard Jarvis call for him over his music “Sir it appears Mr.Odinson is telling Peter about the battle of New York” tony face palmed then dropped his tools and ran out of his lab to stop it.
“Point Break the moment I leave the room you start going off the walls about the aliens” tony said a bit too harshly
Peter can tell that the mentioning the aliens make his dad uncomfortable but doesn’t know why
“Stark I just told him the events I knew like meeting you all and the beginning of the battle I did not go into much detail relax.”  Thor reassured
Peter asked again “How were the aliens defeated?” this time looking directly at tony.
Tony gulped and Thor just looked at him and walked silently out of the room.
“A nuke” Tony said silently
“How did a nuke kill Thousands of aliens without killing people here?”
“Someone flew it threw the portal and killed their mother ship” tony whispered looking away
“Dad? Are you telling me you sacrificed your life by flying into space?” peter asked his eyes were glued to tony.
“Yes, but also saved the world so there’s that” tony said with a fake smile.
Peter was hugging him before he knew it and he was hugging back.
“Why didn’t you tell me? Why keep this hidden from me?” peter had tears in his eyes
“I didn’t want you to worry I’m all you got now if you lost me I don’t want you to think you could lose me and the effect that sacrifice has had on me.” tony choked out
“I always worry with my dad being iron man but I’m not alone I have pepper and the rest of the avengers too. What effect?”
“I can’t sleep if I try I get nightmares I keep experiencing the sensation of being there slowly dying alone so I refuse to sleep. When I’m with you or pepper I can function normally but when I’m alone I just can’t. I do whatever I can not to sleep so I tinker.” Tony was on the brink of tears.
“Dad you have to let people in otherwise things like this will destroy you. talk to Pepper, uncle Rhodey, Uncle Bruce or an actual therapist talking about your issues are better that bottling them up” peter said still holding hold to tony for dear life.
“Thanks Pete, I’ll try but it’s hard to break a cycle but I promise no more keeping secrets from you ok?” tony said as he dried his tears and smiled
“That’s a great place to start dad” peter said letting go
They sat in silence for a minute until tony regained his composure and then walked into the kitchen and saw Thor eating a box of Pop tarts.
“Hey those were mine” peter said to Thor
Thor chuckled and finished the box
“Pete I’m a billionaire I can get you more pop tarts lets go” and they let Thor to enjoy himself.
