Tsukishima having a crush on a senpai

as i said here, this boy being obsessed with a girl older than him lives in my mind rent free so here's my whole hc about this.

Warning: damn this shit is HUGE because i just can't sHUT UP ABOUT IT. (total words: 1033)

you had a crush on him since the very first moment you saw him walking around the school. but the first time you met him, you were looking for Tanaka, your neighbor and childhood friend. you needed him to film you explaining how to do a jump. (you're from gymnastic club) Tanaka was busy but Tsukishima was free and, luck you, he was in a good mood. (and Tanaka almost forced him to do this lol)

you did amazing since you have a lot of experience. (and you're from third year) Tsukishima was really impressed but obviously didn't show this. Yamaguchi came with him and the boy was like “wow you're so good!” because he's really adorable 🥺🥺🥺

it took time for Tsukishima to forget about this day, he couldn't stop thinking you look good and pretty. but after few days he got used with you. you're not too close of everyone in the team but, because of Tanaka, sometimes you go see the boys training and say something nice to them like “go harder! you can do it!”. and also sometimes you go home with Tanaka and the boys when you're not going with your teammates.

so yes, you see Tsukishima a lot and knowing he's from first year, you treat him like a younger brother. BUT it doesn't change the fact you actually like him like something more. you're sometimes joking around trying to piss him of or agreeing with his mean comments just to tease the others. Tanaka even said “oho! looks like you're senpai's little brother too.” since you treats Hinata, Kageyama and Yamaguchi the same way. and he was okay with this. until the day he saw you watching him during a match.

it was Karasuno vs. Shiratorizawa. you screamed his name as loud as possible when he got that score. and he noticed you. after this day, you never left his mind. he was obsessed with how good his name sounds in your voice and the way you look at him with a smirk when you're teasing him. then, he realized the idea of you thinking about him as a younger brother now pisses him of. because he doesn't want you to think about him like this anymore.

one day, you had anyone to walk you home (and you don't like going home alone when it's late, it can be dangerous.) so, you asked Tsukishima if he could do this. surprisingly, he said yes. he was kind enough to left you just a few squares from home. you gave him a cheek kiss that night and he wasn't prepared for this.

—stop doing this.— he said getting away from you. —i'm not your little brother or something, so stop.—

it took a few seconds for you to understand what he was actually saying.

—you think i kissed your cheek because i think of you as a kid?— crossed arms, your smirk made him confused. —i did it only because i wanted to thank you. but, just to let you know, sometimes I end up treating you like that because you're younger than me. but, i definitely don't see you as a kid, Tsukishima.—

He thought A LOT about what you said. enough to give him a headache. and the fact you got really busy with your club after this almost made him freak out inside. he wanted to see you but you weren't around as before. and by see you i mean exactly this. he likes you but he didn't change his behavior. just have you around was enough for him since he still didn't know what to do with his own feelings.

sometime after that, Tsukishima decided to tell you about his feelings but he's incredible BAD at confessing lol. and it wasn't like he wasn’t expecting something. i mean, he do remember that night VERY CLEAR when you said you don't see him like a kid. but he didn't expect you ACTUALLY have feelings for him too. you, in the other hand, were almost thinking he wouldn't tell you when he FINALLY managed to do it. (yes, you had a hunch about it)

the whole scene was like “since your graduation is getting closer and i don't know if i'm gonna see you again, i must tell you something. i have feelings for you. but please don't worry about returning it or something, i'll keep myself away from you from now on, so you won't feel uncomfortable. i’m telling you this only because i feel you should know.” *apologetic bow* LMAO

you LITERALLY had to grab his arm to make him stop from GOING OFF because he was dying inside.

—what did you say?— he asked you.

—i have feelings for you too, actually.— you said, letting go of his hand.

—for how long?—

—i don't know, since i first saw you???—

you both started dating for real after your graduation. he wanted you to focus on your entrance exam. BUUUUUT he couldn't keep himself away from you sometimes. specially after you both found a place to spend some time alone during the breaks 👀👀👀👀

"Kei?!" You sighed, pushing through the crowd. The party wasn't fun it was just loud. Tsukishima was just standing next beside you then all of a sudden he disappeared. A warm hand grabbed your wrist, pulling you out of the wave of people.

"Thanks Tobio-san. Do you know where Kei went?" Kageyama kept eyeing the stairs while biting his bottom lip. Your face dropped "Oh" left your mouth. The music seemed to drown out any sort of sadness.

You took a deep breath before running up the fancy swirl of stairs.

"Wait Y/N" Kageyama tried to reach out for you but you yanked away.

There was already different types of moaning behind each door. This made you think about how you and Kei never had sex. Every teenager boy wants it but not Tsukishima....at least not with you.

You sighed, turning around, wanting to leave and break everything off the next day. Until you heard chuckling. Embarrassment and anger washed over you. You walked down the hallway, the giggles were getting closer.

You stopped at a door. Your hand clasped the cold sliver metal. You push it opened. Tsukishima's back was pressed against the beds headboard and a girl was on his lap pecking at his neck. She had a blonde wavy wolf cut, pearl Grey eyes, and a slim waist.

"Here you go" You bit your tongue from saying any retort. You walked into the room, placing Kei's unwanted phone on the bed. "Oh- shit - Y/N" Kei scrambled up. But you quickly paced yourself out of the room and down stairs.

Kageyama was waiting by the stairs. He finally stopped you this time by having a firm grip on your wrist. "Are you okay?" "No obviously not" Your chuckle held a few tears in it. But you sucked it all back up with the girl came walking down the stairs.

"I'm so sorry I didn't know he had a girlfriend" She puckered her lips before joining the crowd.

Yeah....no one does. Kei never post you on his social nor does he show you off. It's always you who has to say something to the millions of girls who flirt with him.

Kei thumped down the stairs, running a hand through his hair. "Fuck off milk boy" Tsukishima pulled Kageyama's hand off your wrist. "Tch" Tobio rolled his eyes, walking away.

"I'm going to get Sugawara to pick me up" You walked towards the front door. "See! This is exactly why I do the things I do. You never can face your problems or confront me" "The hell? It's not my fault you can't kept it in your pants and be loyal"

You looked at your phone, shuffling through the contacts. You pushed opened the front door, the music finally going slient. You walked along the cars down the drive way.

"Were over Kei" "Okay? You were getting boring anyway" You froze, looking down at your shoes. "Hello?" Sugawara's voice could be heard from your phone.

You backed up against a black truck, slowly sliding down to sit. Kei wasn't standing on the driveway anymore. You let a couple tears down.

You sniffled. "Koshi-senpai do you think you could pick me up. I'll send you the address" "Yeah...Is everything alright?" "No...but I wanna pretend like it is" Small droplets of tears splattered on the ground.

A/N: This is the first proper thing I've written in a while I'm sorry if it isn't perfectly worded-

"Hey Tsukki...what's this box?" Yamaguchi sets a tiny green box with wonky dino drawings on top of his motorcycle.

"Oh. Where'd you find that?" Tsukishima looks towards him before smiling just a little at the box.

"In the closet- but it's okay if you don't want to tell me, I would understand-" He fidgets with his leather jacket.

"Yams baby, we're moving in together, we've been dating for four years and have been best friends all our lives, you're my future husband for fuck's sake, I think I can share this one thing you don't know about me yet too." Tsukishima opens the box after caressing the drawings. He sits on the stairs leading to his old house, and gently keeps the lid down, finally looking into the box.

He carefully removes a dried rose and hands it to Yamaguchi, who is now sitting beside him. "Remember this?"

"I-is this the rose I gave you when I asked you out?"

"Mhmm, I have the others in here too, every rose you've ever given me, so 37 and counting..."

"NO WAY! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU KEPT THEM!"

"Why, can't I treasure something my sweet fiance gave me?" He mumbles into Yamaguchi's cheek.

"Anddd what about this?" Tsukishima toys around with a weird looking friendship bracelet with mismatched colours.

"THE FRIENDSHIP BRACELET FROM WHEN WE WERE IN MIDDLE SCHOOL-? I THOUGHT YOU WOULD'VE THROWN THAT OUT- I LOVE YOU SO MUCH TSUKKI AHH" Yamaguchi is crying and squealing and hugging Tsukki tightly, his mascara dripping on Tsukki's pastel blue sweater vest.

"Yes yes I love you too babe, but we really have to go now"

"Yea you're right, we have the cake tasting with the Kageyama's this afternoon" Yamaguchi stands and dusts his butt, giving Tsukishima a hand with the box.

"Pfft still can't believe the idiots got married before us" Tsukishima jokes, now closing the box.

"Or the fact that they're our best men" Yamaguchi kisses Tsukki before loading another box into the moving truck.

Karasuno on a road trip (reader insert cause idk how else I’d do it)

Hinata

He’s was whining after only 20 minutes on the bus. You’ve got about 13 hours left on this trip, but the little ball of energy is already bouncing in his seat. For the good of the group, you decide to distract him a little, at least long enough to get Tsukishima not to rip his head off.

The only thing is, you chose to busy him with a fun road trip game; something you also need to participate in until he inevitably gets tired of that. From the experience of your road trips in the past, you teach him the ABC game: take turns going through the alphabet and finding signs with a word that starts with the letter you are on. You’re pretty sure you sat there and played that game a good 26 times before Hinata finally ran out of excitement about new words, pestering you to think of another game to play.

Kageyama

He had stayed fairly quiet the entire ride, simply resting his head against the window, dozing off every now and then. You had gotten bored a bit ago, and saw his head straighten up from the window, looking around the bus for something to do. Getting up and swiftly crossing over to his seat, you slide into the spot next to Kageyama.

You strike up casual conversation, going on about your love-hate relationship with road trips. He simply listens and nods along every now and then, until he states, “I love road trips. Some time to just take in the scenery and think over plays and old games.”

The statement shocked you a bit, not thinking him one to enjoy the serenity of it all. But, you just settled into your seat and took up staring out the window just like him.

Tsukishima/Yamaguchi (because I’m lazy)

A solid few hours into the trip, you’d woken up from a little nap and wanted to bother some more of the guys. It was a little hobby of yours; what else was there to do, really?

Surveying the bus, you spotted the mess of blonde a few seats in front of you and quickly contemplated annoying Tsukishima: something that would grant you a death wish fairly quickly.

You were seriously thinking about it for a bit, until you noticed Yamaguchi at his side. Thinking about it now, he’s been there the whole ride, keeping the angry blonde occupied. Although, you’re fairly certain Tsukishima would have been perfectly fine listening to music without any interruptions for the entirety of the 13 hours. Still, Yamaguchi had been chatting with Tsukishima the whole ride, even getting him to participate in a few road trip games at the very beginning. Of course those games didn’t last long while Tsukishima was playing, but Yamaguchi got him to do it none the less.

Eventually, you spot Yamaguchi taking his attention away from Tsukishima and putting it to the social media feed scrolling across his phone screen. Tsukishima has returned to his state of bliss with the clunky headphones atop his ears and head leaning against the window.

Suga (because I love Suga sm, this is gonna be an established relationship with reader :))

Sitting up, you wipe at your eyes, waking yourself up some. Tilting your head up, you spot your what your used as a pillow—or who you used as a pillow—Suga. He was staring back at you, eyes taking in how sleepy ypu still looked.

“Go back to sleep. We’ve only got a couple more hours anyway,” he said while laying your head back onto his shoulder. You wrap your arms around his torso, forcing him to snuggle into your side. “Remind me to get you an actual pillow next time we go on a trip.”

“Be quiet. Would you rather me be an energetic ball of noise like Noya and Hinata?”

“Nope, get comfy. Hopefully they’re battery will drain soon too,” he chuckled to himself as he looked beside him at the boys who were vigorously smashing buttons on switch controllers, shouting at each other about winning.

Noya

Fairly early in the drive, you decided to see what Noya was up to. He was generally pretty good at keeping you entertained, so he’d probably do the same this time.

As expected, the second you sat down next to him he was off, talking away. He told you about his coolest receives and how he had taught them to younger kids.

After he was done proudly ranting about his stories, he quickly changed the subject to food. Once he mentioned wanting a snack, it was all over for the rest of the bus.

Hinata popped up from the seat behind Noya, asking about some form of snack (rather loudly), causing Kageyama to yell at him from across the bus. Of course, any noise from Kageyama causes Tsukishima to start a “who can be more salty” competition, quickly leading to Suga smacking them on the back of the head, one by one as he walked down the aisle.
